A 26-year-old man from Wichita, Edward Millan-Volcan, just received a life sentence plus 13 years and 9 months for a savage stabbing that killed his partner’s children’s mother and critically injured another woman—both victims were found in front of their kids. The attack, which occurred during a domestic disturbance in July 2025, has shattered multiple families. Millan-Volcan, who pleaded guilty in May, won’t be eligible for parole for nearly 39 years, marking one of the harshest sentences in the region.
