- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome to Secrets to Luminous Living. My name is Melissa Boyd.
- 0:05I'm a spiritual medium and a luminous business coach, and
- 0:08you're joining me for Secrets to Luminous Living. And today
- 0:11you get a peek inside what it is to receive
- 0:14a reading. And I have a lovely group of ladies,
- 0:19I think, yes, all ladies here tonight that have agreed
- 0:23to come on and to be a part of this
- 0:26container to have you have a peek into what it
- 0:31feels like to receive a reading. And I feel like
- 0:34we're in such a strange time in history, but you'll
- 0:38look around and see mediumship is growing and growing and growing.
- 0:41And some of you on here tonight or listening later
- 0:45that have children or grandchildren are noticing, wow, they're really intuitive. Yes, yes, yes.
- 0:51Because what's going to happen is Everyone's going to be
- 0:54able to do what I do in the next three years.
- 0:57I really believe this, that kids are being born mediumistic, intuitive,
- 1:01and probably some of you on here are too. So
- 1:05you cannot bring AI into this. This is intuitive, is
- 1:09the biggest gift. It's the best gift. We have to
- 1:11trust it. So I'm just going to have you listen
- 1:14in and I'm going to see who is here to
- 1:18speak to someone on. These are some of the most
- 1:32exciting readings when I channel a man who is a
- 1:35truck driver. So they have the best personalities. Really wonderful.
- 1:41So I have a truck driver here. I don't know
- 1:43if it's Robert or Richard. He talks about being a
- 1:46long haul trucker for many years.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And I.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Do not feel that he died driving truck, but I
- 1:55do feel like this was his profession. He's showing me
- 1:59the names of... Robert Ronald Richard around him. He is
- 2:05able to retire, although he talks about having something with
- 2:10his leg, issue with his leg. Either he couldn't walk well,
- 2:15his hip had to be replaced, he used a cane.
- 2:20He's in a lot of pain. But he loved this
- 2:25work that he did. And I feel that he's maybe
- 2:33a grandfather, an uncle, a great uncle or uncle for
- 2:41someone who is listening tonight. So this is definitely an
- 2:45R name. He either has an R name. He's with
- 2:48an R name. This is Robert Richard Raymond Roy. And
- 2:53he's a long haul trucker for most of his life.
- 3:00Does anyone understand this? Okay.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Beth. I don't really connect to the long haul trucker,
- 3:08but Roy, Robert, Raymond, Ronald are all names on my
- 3:13dad's side.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Okay. And his father passed for you.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Did he drive a lot for work then or something
- 3:22on highways with trucks?
- 3:25Speaker 2: He was a, He didn't drive, but he was an
- 3:28x-ray tech and worked in an MRI truck for a
- 3:33number of his years. That was what he was doing.
- 3:36That was his last work was being in an MRI
- 3:39truck that travels.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Oh, well, okay. Because he's talking about being in this
- 3:44big truck that travels. So know that he's acknowledging, and
- 3:49this is dad for you, please. Yes.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He wants to acknowledge that he loved this work. He
- 3:57absolutely loved this work. It was, you know, cause I'm just,
- 4:00I'm drawing this truck and I'm seeing it kind of,
- 4:03you know, moving back and forth. And he, he really helped.
- 4:08He really loved helping people. Yeah. And he sees you
- 4:12also helping people. Do you also understand your dad kind
- 4:15of slowing down near the end of his life and
- 4:17being able to retire?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Because he was forced to retire.
- 4:21Speaker 1: He got it. But he talks about having to like
- 4:24slow down and he acknowledges spending time with you. He
- 4:30loved that a lot. And I don't know if at
- 4:32one point he wanted a beard and couldn't have one
- 4:35or he grew a beard later, but there's something funny
- 4:37about this.
- 4:39Speaker 2: He always had a beard, you know, as he got older.
- 4:43But when he got sick, he lost all of his hair.
- 4:45Couldn't couldn't.
- 4:46Speaker 1: He was so bummed out about this, you know, because
- 4:49he goes, tell her I have a beard again, you know,
- 4:53because it was something he really wanted. So he's super
- 4:56happy about this. He really wants you to know that.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, his beard was always perfect. His hair was brown,
- 5:04but his beard would come in red. And he got
- 5:06a lot of flack for that.
- 5:08Speaker 1: But he just loved it, though. So just know he's
- 5:10showing this. And I don't know if this is like,
- 5:15and he keeps tugging at your clothing. So I don't
- 5:18know if you have a jacket of your dad's or
- 5:20a sweatshirt or something of his that you kept. It's
- 5:23like one item of clothing that's really important to you.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a. It's a zip up hoodie, a Yankees hoodie.
- 5:32He was a Yankees fan.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So he loves that you have this. He's like, I
- 5:36know that you have this piece of clothing. I know
- 5:38that it's something that you might wear and think of me.
- 5:41So he definitely is very excited about this. Okay. Let
- 5:47me just. Have you recently come across like baby pictures
- 5:55with your mom and dad or something?
- 6:00Speaker 2: But I've been going through my basement and found lots
- 6:03of old pictures.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Because he's talking about the old pictures. He knows that
- 6:07you've touched those recently. So he's like, I'm listening to
- 6:10you and I hear you. He talks about you blending
- 6:14two different modalities together for your work.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Um, I recently switched from, I'm a speech therapist and
- 6:25I was working, you know, with kids and I've moved
- 6:28on to management. So it's more of a managerial position.
- 6:32So it's a shift.
- 6:33Speaker 1: So he, he likes the shift, whatever you've done. He says,
- 6:36I love this for you. He feels really good about
- 6:39it because it's kind of like, he says, um, almost
- 6:42looks like a train the trainer where, because you've done
- 6:45this now you can help people understand the different ins
- 6:47and outs of it. So it feels really strong and
- 6:51he's excited about it. He likes all genres of music.
- 7:00Music is really important to him. And even listening to
- 7:03live music was a big deal for your dad. Have
- 7:05you been getting into live music lately?
- 7:07Speaker 2: I have not, but I did go to a couple
- 7:11of concerts this summer and I don't typically do that.
- 7:15Speaker 1: He sees you doing this and he's thrilled. He's absolutely thrilled.
- 7:18He loves, loves, loves, loves, loves this for you. And
- 7:23why would your dad acknowledge a name in the family
- 7:25like Carol, Casey, Christina, Christopher?
- 7:33Speaker 2: His sister is Karen.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Karen. Okay.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And I have a brother that's Chad Christopher.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That's it, Chad. So he sends love to your brother,
- 7:42Chad Christopher, as well. He wants him to know that
- 7:44he's around him. Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 1: It's kind of interesting. Did you learn CPR as a kid?
- 8:00There's something interesting about your father or mother teaching you
- 8:02like first aid as a child.
- 8:04Speaker 2: My mom was a nurse. And so that was always
- 8:08part of it.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I don't remember being taught specifically, but she's talking about,
- 8:12and so mom has passed for you too, please. Yes.
- 8:15So mom is acknowledging teaching you how to like band
- 8:19somebody up or fix something. And she says, Oh my Bethy,
- 8:23you always did good with that. So, and I don't
- 8:27know if you took care of your mom, but she
- 8:29talks about her slowly getting sick and fading. And she
- 8:33talks about you giving her medicine and taking care of her. Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I moved home for a few years to help them both.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And she wants to thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 8:43Thank you. They just, they can't thank you enough for this. Yeah.
- 8:46You know, um, I can't stop hearing that song from
- 8:50the fifties rock and Robin do, do, do rock and Robin.
- 8:54Not feel like that music.
- 8:56Speaker 2: They were big in the fifties music, but.
- 8:58Speaker 1: They, they love it, you know? So if you see like, like, um, Robbins,
- 9:04like the birds, the Robbins, or, um, even, you know,
- 9:08find a bird's nest, something like this. They're just showing you,
- 9:11I want you to know that I'm around you. We
- 9:14want you to know that we love you. Um, And
- 9:18they just, they thank you for like holding space for
- 9:24both of them, you know? And now they see what
- 9:27you're doing and they're like, this is it. They're like
- 9:29putting a, you know, this is it, exclamation point. We
- 9:32love this for you. We love this for you. So
- 9:35they definitely want you to know this. Do you have
- 9:39an affinity toward hummingbirds, please? Because they're sending you hummingbirds
- 9:45as well. That's one of their symbols to you. And
- 9:49the hummingbird also means joy. So they're sending joy to you.
- 9:54Wanting you to know that that's a way that they
- 9:57are thanking you forever. that you would have done for them. So, yes. Okay.
- 10:08You're welcome.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Okay. Sometimes when I'm in this energy, I'll hear about
- 10:30five different voices and I have to figure out which
- 10:32one I'm hearing the loudest and where I want to
- 10:35go to next so they don't. I ask them to
- 10:37be very clear so we don't get confused about who
- 10:39we're going with. Okay. Okay. This is a hard one.
- 10:57Sepsis stomach. This person would have died of sepsis and
- 11:04very unexpected, like brought to the hospital thinking maybe it
- 11:08was a gallbladder or an appendix, but it ended up
- 11:10being sepsis. This person also turned jaundice. And this is
- 11:17not a recent passing. This is someone, I want to say,
- 11:26Mid 80s, early 90s. I'm asking for some names around
- 11:35the family or around them. They're taking me to New Jersey.
- 11:47They would have had a New Jersey connection. And I'm
- 11:51in the 1980s, 1990s, and this is sepsis. There was
- 11:56someone who had sepsis. Would someone understand this, please? I'm
- 12:06going to ask for some names. Let me just see
- 12:08if they give me some names. Jeremy, Jeff, Jason. I
- 12:30don't feel like this person was very old either. 20s
- 12:38or 30s. Interesting. Okay. Is there someone on here tonight
- 12:45who has ever worked with patients who had AIDS or
- 12:50were intravenous drug users, please? Like if you ever had
- 12:55a job where you would work with people who... Anyone
- 13:04understand this? Worked at a clinic. Okay, so the person
- 13:10that I'm being told this is for, someone on here
- 13:15either works in the medical field, works with doctors, works
- 13:19with addiction, and you either help someone in the 80s
- 13:29or 90s, that had sepsis. Please hold on to this.
- 13:42Once in a while when I'm doing this, it can
- 13:44be for someone who's going to listen to the podcast.
- 13:46It's happened before. So every once in a while that
- 13:50does happen. So if you're listening to the podcast, just
- 13:54send me an email because this person definitely wants to
- 13:57come forward and say, You know, they're sorry because the
- 14:02sepsis does feel like it was from an alcohol or
- 14:04a drug issue. So I definitely want to say that.
- 14:10And whatever this person who's going to receive this is
- 14:14in the medical field or the recovery treatment field, and
- 14:16they want to say thank you. So there we are.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Okay. Is there someone here who's had a family member
- 14:45who would work for a government, a town, like the
- 14:55Department of Transportation, something like this? Someone keeps talking about
- 15:05moving the stop signs. Did someone on this call ever
- 15:14petition to have a stop sign moved or a stop
- 15:17sign put in for some reason?
- 15:19Speaker 2: I asked to get no parking signs put in.
- 15:27Speaker 1: No parking. Okay. And did you talk to somebody in
- 15:31a city to do this?
- 15:32Speaker 2: It took about six months.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Okay. And if I said to you the names in
- 15:41your family or around you, Frank, Paul, Peter, or Patrick,
- 15:46how would you understand this? The F's or the P's
- 15:53around you. This could also be Francis or Patricia.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Frank and Patricia make sense.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Okay. And are they in your family, please?
- 16:10Speaker 3: Um, no longer.
- 16:11Speaker 1: But, but, but you know who they are.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Because these are the two names that keep like popping
- 16:17in around you. I don't know if they're grandparents for you. Okay.
- 16:24Because they want, they're like, hello, hello, hello. And I'm like, okay,
- 16:28who am I going with? They're like the person that
- 16:29did the thing with the city. So they know that
- 16:32you did this. They're exciting. They're happy that you got
- 16:35that in. So just know they're showing this now. Um,
- 16:39The grandmother, Patricia, she is acknowledging, like holding you when
- 16:44you were a little girl, please. So she is acknowledging that.
- 16:48And I don't know if you were the only girl
- 16:51or the closest girl, but she's just acknowledging like, there's
- 16:55my girl. She's my girl. She's my girl. So she just,
- 16:59she wants to acknowledge this. She's very happy about that
- 17:02for you. She's kind of pinching your cheek and letting
- 17:06you know that, You were kind of the apple of
- 17:08the eye in the family. So know that she's definitely,
- 17:11you know, acknowledging that for you. And there must be
- 17:14either a Donald, a Diane, a Dick, a Debbie. Please.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Dan Deanna. Yeah. And is that mom for you? Okay.
- 17:26And she's here physically. Correct. So they're sending love to
- 17:29her as well. Are you close to her?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yes.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Because she wants, they want to acknowledge she's kind of
- 17:34like a mom figure for you. And not that you
- 17:38don't have a mom, but there's something about her and
- 17:40you just being very close. And this must be Patricia's daughter, please.
- 17:45Is that true?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yes. Yes.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So just know that she's sending love to her, too.
- 17:49She wants her to know, oh, I love her as well.
- 17:52I love her as well. And there's a lot of
- 17:55memories that get talked about about Patricia. She feels very
- 18:00front and center. She doesn't feel pushed to the side,
- 18:03you know. So she feels lucky about that. So she
- 18:07wants you to know this. Speaking of lucky, she's showing
- 18:09me things like a lucky rabbit's foot, the number seven,
- 18:13like almost like she was very superstitious or something. You know,
- 18:17she kind of has that way about her. And she
- 18:21is kind of pushing us towards Halloween as well. So
- 18:24that might be birthdays around October or November. I have
- 18:29a different event planned for Halloween this year.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Okay. So she's acknowledging that whatever that is, she sees it,
- 18:36but she might've liked Halloween. So she is, she's showing that.
- 18:40And that would be a fun, a fun time for her.
- 18:46And who has two cats that are like, you got
- 18:49them at the same time. They're kittens together. And do
- 18:54you still have those cats?
- 18:55Speaker 3: One has passed.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Oh, okay. So the two cats who got together, she
- 18:59has one of them. So she wants you to know
- 19:02that the cat is with her. So a lot of
- 19:04times they'll take our animals with us, you know, so
- 19:07she's like letting you know that she's taking the animal
- 19:10with her and she loves that. Now, I don't know
- 19:14if there's somebody in the family who got a tattoo
- 19:17who they thought would never get a tattoo, but they
- 19:19got a tattoo for someone.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yes?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yes, that's me. Is it for her? For my son.
- 19:26Your son. Okay. Your son's here physically though, yes?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So just know she's like, I love that you got
- 19:32the tattoo. She's like, I never thought you'd do it,
- 19:34but I love that you did. Now, did you not
- 19:40think you could have a child, please? Because she's like,
- 19:45I helped with that, you know. I don't know if
- 19:48you prayed to her. but she heard you and she's
- 19:53very happy about this okay so know that she sees
- 19:57your son I don't know that she met him though
- 20:00she didn't know but she does know that so she's
- 20:04acknowledging that she loves him so much and she wants
- 20:07you to know I have to go back to the
- 20:09seven with you. The seven, seven, oh seven, seven, one, seven.
- 20:15What does the sevens mean to you? Or the month
- 20:20of July. Oh, that's my birth month. July. So when
- 20:24you see seven, seven, seven, seven, oh seven, seven, one, seven,
- 20:27just know it's her just poking it on you.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Hello. Hello.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Hello. It's funny. I just drew a, basketball hoop. Is
- 20:39that your son?
- 20:41Speaker 2: He wants one.
- 20:41Speaker 3: I haven't gotten it yet.
- 20:44Speaker 1: She's like, get the basketball hoop. He'll love it. He'll
- 20:47love it. So take their love. And so obviously Frank
- 20:52is her son, please.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Frank is my dad's brother.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I never met him. He's really lovely. He's really lovely.
- 21:05It's like I feel that there was confusion around his passing.
- 21:12But just know he wants you to know that he's
- 21:15just saying hello to you. But definitely Patricia is larger
- 21:19than life around you. So know that she loves you
- 21:23very much. You're welcome. Okay. You guys are really good.
- 21:30Sometimes I'll do this and people always raise their hand
- 21:32and they're like saying and they're like, Well, I kind
- 21:34of have this name and this name. So thank you
- 21:36for just dropping in. It's really important. Okay. Again, I
- 21:44will do this again. So no worries if you don't
- 21:46get read tonight. I'm going to do this again. I'm
- 21:49planning on maybe doing it every couple months. Can't promise,
- 21:52but I think it's important to, there's always messages that
- 21:56can be given. We just never know when and how. Okay.
- 22:08I'm always asking for a really deep story. So let's
- 22:23see what they have for us. Does somebody have a
- 22:30pizza oven in their house? You don't see a pizza
- 22:34oven in the house. Somebody have a pizza oven? make pizza,
- 22:41have someone who passed over that loved making pizzas. Liz,
- 22:50did you raise your hand? I just, I make my
- 22:57own homemade dough and make pizza. We make pizza all
- 22:59the time. Is this a big family thing?
- 23:06Speaker 2: No, Mike, If my kids are around or my husband
- 23:09and I, or if people come by, it's something quick
- 23:12to make that people enjoy.
- 23:14Speaker 1: All right. Keep on mute. Let me listen. Let me
- 23:19listen to you. Louise, Lori, Lily, Lillian.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Lillian's my, was my dog that just recently passed.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Lillian. Lillian misses the smell of pizza. Yeah. Lillian misses
- 23:38the smell of pizza. Well, she used to open up
- 23:41the pizza cheese. She would sit right there waiting for
- 23:44the pizza cheese. She is like, I'm like, who is
- 23:47around you? And I keep I'm like, I'm seeing. So
- 23:51I'm looking. See, I'm looking up at an oven. I'm like,
- 23:53why am I looking up at an oven? And why
- 23:55am I smelling this from the ground? I couldn't figure
- 23:58that out. So just know Lillian absolutely misses and adores you.
- 24:04And I do have to say that what an incredible animal.
- 24:10Speaker 2: She was.
- 24:11Speaker 1: She really wants you to know that like you gave
- 24:14her the best life. She had the best smells in
- 24:17this house and she adored it so, so much. Before
- 24:23she passed, you must have had to either shave her
- 24:27at one point and do something.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Yes.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I had to shave her paws because she was flipping.
- 24:35Cause she's going like, I know you had to do
- 24:37what you had to do when I thank you for that.
- 24:41It's like, she really wants to thank you so much for, um,
- 24:47giving her a life extension. Like you helped her live
- 24:51longer than she thought she could live, you know? And, um,
- 24:57she adores you. She loves your family. Um, Is there
- 25:04a Shane, a Seth, a Steve, a Scott, a Sherry?
- 25:11Who's the S around your family?
- 25:16Speaker 3: So I also, I'm Liz's daughter, Megan.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Oh.
- 25:22Speaker 3: So I'm also on Zoom.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Hi.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Okay, hi.
- 25:26Speaker 3: So my boyfriend's father's name is Scott. I don't know
- 25:30if that has.
