- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jack Wars fans, welcome in to Dove All Daily, presented by Jinjag.com.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Lugo, thanks so much for being here.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: Sunday, December 7th, your Jacksonville Jack Wars, nine and four after defeating the Indianapolis Colts.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: 36 to 19 here in Jacksonville, Florida, a rainy day.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: This shows coming out a little bit later, now, normally like obviously, but took a little bit longer than normal to get home.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to a little bit of a rain was down there at the stadium hanging out with everybody having a good time.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: Rain all day long did not matter did not rain on the Jaguars parade today did not rain on the Jaguars fans parade today again Jaguars beat the Colts for the 11th straight time in Jacksonville for the
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: 11 games in a row.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have won in Jacksonville over the Colts.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Not a stranger things reference, right?
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: 36 to 19 Jaguars won.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: They are 9 and 4.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: The Colts fall to 8 and 5.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot to get into for this game.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that really is.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: But if you would have told
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: four weeks ago, Jordan de Lugo, four weeks ago, Jaguar's fan that the Jaguars would be in first place, not only with a tiebreaker, but a game ahead of the cults, at 9 and 4, cults 8 and 5.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of folks would have probably told you are a little bit crazy.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of folks would have probably told you, sit down that juice a little bit.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't matter.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguars have gotten to 9 and 4.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: They have won 4 straight games.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: The cults have now lost 4 out of 5 games and your Jaguars are in first place in the AFC South, not only with the tiebreaker against the cults, which they had coming into this week, week 14, but also a game ahead of the cults.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: pretty unbelievable.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a lot to get into from this game.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think there's a lot that analysts from around the league from around the country can probably point to that say, you know, the jag wars, there's not that good.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they've been saying all year.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they've been saying leading up to this game against the cults.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: What do the Jaguars do all that?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the resounding question I heard from the national media and not just the media but like legitimate football analysts.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: What are the Jaguars good at?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: How about the Jaguars are good at stopping the run?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: Number one run defense in the NFL entering this game.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: Did anyone want to give them credit for that?
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: No, they certainly did not.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: How about a team that forces turnovers?
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Did they mean one want to give them credit for that?
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: No, they did not.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: How about a passing game that was coming on and really being quite effective over the last month since the by week for the Jaguars?
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: Did anyone want to give them credit for that?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, they did not.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: How about a running game that had been very effective for a lot of the year?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, didn't want to talk about that.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone around the league, national media wise,
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: was not giving the Jaguars enough credit.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: And let's start at the top, shall we?
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Before we get to that, really appreciate y'all being here.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: Can also check out jingag.com, pick up some new dooval gear, support the channel, look good while doing it.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think Liam Cohen, James Gladstone,
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Liam Cohen had coach, James Lads Dungeon or Manager, let's throw a shout out to Tony Bicelli as well.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: The offense of coordinator Anthony Campanylee, Special Team's coordinator, Heath Farwell, all the coaches in between unbelievable coaching job that this coaching staff has done this year.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: They're nine and four.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: They've been winning close games, which this was not a close game by any stretch of the imagination.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was not.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: But the Jaguars have been so much better coach this year.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: Culture?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: teaching the fundamentals of this game, scheming it up, X is the nose, all that, and in between, Jacksonville Jaguar's coaching staff has done a tremendous job.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: We don't talk about that enough, because normally on these recaps, you know, we talk about, you know,
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: what this player did, what that player did.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the Jaguar's coaching staff, Liam Cohen, Anthony Camponele, Heath Farwell, all the assistant coaches have done such a tremendous job coaching this team with injuries and there have been a lot of injuries.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: Jarrod didn't have Parker Washington today.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: They did have Trayvon Walker, Eric Armstead,
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: They did not have their full compliment, they have not had their full compliment on the offensive line, receiving group, a lot of that stuff all year long, and they have overcome that and they are nine and four.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: The Jacksonville jackwars are nine and four after week 14.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's legitimately been an incredible ride to watch.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar's get out to a four and one start on the year.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: They drop two straight.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: They lose to two teams in the NFC West.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: Two really talented tough teams.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Seahawks Rams.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: And since then, they've been on a tear.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: Since the by week, they have been on a tear to get to nine and four.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: And they just got a game up on the Indianapolis
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: They've dropped three straight games the colds have, but let's talk about this game specifically.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: How about a quarterback Trevor Lawrence who, you know, a lot of the folks who watch this channel comment on this channel, have given Trevor Lawrence a very difficult time.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think since the buy, he has been playing very good football, obviously too many turn
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: Did he come back in that game and overcome his own turnovers?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Overcome his own issues, yes.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: But for the most part, since the buy, this passing offense has been so much more impressive than they were prior to that.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: A big part of that is Jacobi Myers.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: A big part of that is Britain Strange coming right from injury.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: A big part of that is Trevor Lawrence.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen as well, fouling up the place.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars can now attack opponents over the middle.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: And let's not lose sight of the fact that this game, what an insane game it was.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: I had, in the stance, a waterproof rain jacket, waterproof pants and waterproof shoes.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was raining all day in Jacksonville, Florida.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars did not care.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Were there drops?
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, there were drops.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: Did it matter?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: No, it did not.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: The Jacksonville Jaguars were a dominant victor in this 36 to 19 when over the cults.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: Did Daniel Jones get hurt pretty early on?
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: is that shocking?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: And let's just call it a buck.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like Daniel Jones should he have been playing over the last couple weeks with a fractured fibula?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a doctor.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: Did it seem a little bit sketchy for him to be playing with that injury against the Texan's last week?
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me it did.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about that.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how you look at that and saying,
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is a quarterback who is normally extremely mobile, who really just can't take hits anymore.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: He can't, let's be real.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: He has to avoid hits at all costs, and he had a non-contact injury today.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: It does not look good for the rest of this season.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know when he will be healthy enough to play football again.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not to gloat.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's just to say like, what were the cults thinking?
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think they were thinking.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: We have to win at all costs.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: We have to win.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: This regime has to win, has to make the playoffs.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: If not, who knows what's gonna happen?
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: But for Jaguar's fans, you know?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: Could be worse.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely could be worse.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: I do feel for Daniel Jones.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: I hope he recovers quickly.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: But when you see a starting quarterback go down against your football team,
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: Who, fairly accomplished college quarterback, but certainly not a college quarterback who you would expect to come in and play exquisite football during his rookie year.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: You come in and again, I mean, he played all right.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing wrong with the way he played for a week quarterback, but the Jag wars defense, Anthony Campanile, as soon as Daniel Jones went out and really even before he went out.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: They were aggressive.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: They were attacking.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: They were unapologetic.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: And you have to appreciate the way the Jaguar played defensive.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: Jonathan Taylor, 21, carries for 74 yards.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: He did have a touchdown.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: 3.5 yards per carry.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: I predicted, you know, bold predictions.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: I expected Jonathan Taylor to have more yards than he did today.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguars did a great job slowing down the cults running game one of the most demoralizing running games in the NFL and look again let's not pretend that the facts run the facts over the last month over the last five weeks the cults running game has not been what it was before that there's been several games where Jonathan Taylor was kept in check but the Jaguars did the job
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Not a lot of folks around the league were given the Jaguar as a credit do.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is what did they do well?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they stopped the run extremely well.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: And they did that again today, 3.4 yards per carry and see Indianapolis Colts.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: Or there's some nice performances, yes.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: By the Colts, yes, there were.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Alec Pierce played well.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Pittman played well.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: Thought he was going to score that touchdown.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: call the offensive passenger clearance on that one.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously all Jacks fans happy to see that.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: But the Jacks did the job in such a big way and in Trevor Lawrence, again, all the folks that have been doubting him all year long.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: All he's done is guide the Jack Wars to a nine and four record.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: He had a pretty damn good day today in my opinion.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Despite wet conditions,
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence 17 for 30 with multiple drops, 244 yards, two touchdowns, also carried the ball, picked up some tough yardage.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars by no means were dominant on the ground today, but they were workmen like on the ground today.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: And Brian Thomas Jr. did his job.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: multiple disappointing moments drops, penalties, but he made up for those moments.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: Five or six targets have touched down.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: Tim Patrick had a pretty damn big day for the Jack Wars.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: And Jacobi Myers, Brenton Strange, they weren't as efficient as normal, but guess what?
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it wasn't a month soon, but it was a, it was a rainstorm.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: It rained all day.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: That ball had been getting wet all game long.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: There were some drops you didn't expect.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: There are some disappointing moments, but it didn't matter.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: Jack's offense put up a lot of points.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jack's defense did the job in a big way
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: forcing turnovers, giving the Jaguar's offense some moments to get ahead.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: And another player, I mean, Josh Hines Allen, we've talked about it.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence gets so much flack on this channel in the comment section, undeservedly.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Hines Allen, so much flack in the comment section on this channel, undeservedly.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely crushing it when it matters for the jaguars down the stretch to the seared Josh Hines Allen.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of players in the second area getting the job done.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Lionbackers absolutely coming downhill and crushing opposing running backs.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: Site to be seen.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Cam Little did his job.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams overall did the job.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Your Jacksonville Jaguars are now nine and four.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: First place in the AFC South, as they were entering week 14, but now not only are in first place, they're not tied for first place.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: They are in first place by a full game over the Indianapolis Colts.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: They have the tiebreaker over the Indianapolis Colts.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, these two teams play again and I think week 17 it is second to last game of the season.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: That'll be a big game.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Colts, I don't know if Daniel Jones is getting back out on that field, well, we'll remain neutral on that.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what happens there with Daniel Jones did not look good.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I didn't know why they were playing him with the injury he had, but your Jacksonville Jaguars are 9 and 4.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're in third place in the AFC.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: The Denver Broncos are currently in first place in the AFC, and the Jaguar has have them on their schedule down the stretch.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: Jags have everything in front of them.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: At minimum, they should be massively favored to win the AFC South, with a game against the jets in Jacksonville next week.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: The final game of this season against the Titans in Jacksonville,
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, as we mentioned, if they won this game, which they did, resoundingly have 11 wins staring them in the face.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Outside of the jets and the titans, which they're going to be favorite against, they have the cults and the Broncos.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: Everything is in front of the Jaguars right now, and they are playing good football.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: They are defending the run.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Their passing game is very good, and it was good today to spite really tough weather conditions.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: They are normally good at running the football as well, they apply pressure on the quarterback.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: They are tough.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what else you could ask for.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen, Anthony Campanylee,
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: James Ladsdone, Grant Edensky, Tony Bicelli, Heath Farwell, everybody involved is getting this team ready to play football.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Don't know what else to get asked for.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a good one.
