Rhonda Berry, the visionary behind Our City Forest for 34 years, is stepping down — but her legacy lives on as she planted over 110,000 trees and trained hundreds of volunteers across San Jose. Her successor, Tara Sreekrishnan, a climate activist and school board member, will carry forward the mission to hit a million trees by a million people.
