Transcript
- 0:01Yeah, I'm happy to say everything to the world and
- 0:04everyone knows that. No secrets.
- 0:07Yeah. All right, All right, let's
- 0:09talk. Let's get.
- 0:10Let's get personal. Look personal, I've been
- 0:12fighting, I'm fighting with venue log at the moment and
- 0:15trying to cancel an order ordered three hours ago just.
- 0:18Trying to get some KFC in here and they're they're not having
- 0:22it. No talk to just so I'm sure this
- 0:27is very interesting for the listeners.
- 0:28Whose fault is it? Is it KF CS fault?
- 0:30Is it menu log's fault? I think it's menu log doesn't
- 0:33have enough drivers. OK.
- 0:35All right. Also, do you think your food's
- 0:37been sat there at the store for three hours?
- 0:39I think they're, no, I think they're the store's preparing it
- 0:42now and they just wait for the Courier to turn up, but I just
- 0:45don't think they have enough. So they don't, oh, because it's
- 0:49KFC, they don't make it ahead of time.
- 0:53Yeah, yeah. Oh, wait.
- 0:54Well, I assume. I haven't had KFC since they did
- 0:59that Cheetos burger. We never got that here.
- 1:05I never got one either, but I went there to get one.
- 1:08They didn't have them and they said do you want a, you know,
- 1:11burger instead and then wait? That can't be right.
- 1:19I don't eat chicken. No.
- 1:23So yeah. They see.
- 1:25Now go. Get too old, Wanted to go.
- 1:29How long ago was that? That would have been years ago.
- 1:33Must have been. But it wasn't an American thing,
- 1:35so you definitely know America by then.
- 1:37Yeah, I was just like, hang on, did I still eat meat here?
- 1:40I guess I did for a bit. Yeah, OK, that's how old I am
- 1:43now. I don't remember.
- 1:44I think you're at that stage where you weren't going out if
- 1:47you weigh as much, not to eat meat.
- 1:49Yeah. The other problem is I've been
- 1:51in this country almost 10 years now and that's it doesn't seem
- 1:54feasible. That doesn't sound right.
- 1:57No, no, I can't be that old. I can't be old enough that I've
- 2:01been in this country for 10 years, no having lived my entire
- 2:06life in Australia. Yes, because.
- 2:10That means I haven't lived my entire life in Australia. 3/4
- 2:13over there. The math does not work.
- 2:17Welcome to multiple Nerdgasm with your hosts, Matt Luke.
- 2:24And Dan multiple Nerdgasm, your guide to all things nerdy.
- 2:39I've owned this house for almost I'll be 8 years, nine years now.
- 2:45I remember the trouble you had buying the house.
- 2:48Well, you just want to sell it. Because it's just a sign on the
- 2:51side of the road and you're I'd like to buy it.
- 2:53And he kept trying to direct you to talk to someone to finance
- 2:56it. No, no, I've I've got the money.
- 2:59Yeah, he didn't particularly want to sell it.
- 3:01And then, well, he didn't. He didn't.
- 3:03It's complicated. I shouldn't assume people's
- 3:05motives, but yes, it was a little complicated, but we
- 3:08talked him into it. And yeah, you live with money.
- 3:13And I'm glad we did. So otherwise you'd be living in
- 3:18a van. In a van that street, the house
- 3:22is worth considerably more just all of a sudden, because
- 3:25apparently that's how houses work now.
- 3:27Yeah, houses process keep going up and up and yeah.
- 3:32Ridiculous. But let's how's your part about?
- 3:36Life. Oh, it's.
- 3:38Still a mess because I still my knee is still messed up.
- 3:41Yeah, right. You have a microphone.
- 3:42Yay, I found the microphone. Very good.
- 3:45Very happy with that. It sounds good.
- 3:48But yeah, no, my knee's still messed up, but I can't kneel
- 3:50down on it, so I can't. You can't make any money because
- 3:54you can't give blowjobs. Yeah, I know.
- 3:57And what, what? What good am I if I can't give
- 3:59blowjobs? Yeah, anyway, I got to go.
- 4:03Yeah, yeah. Sorry.
- 4:04Sorry about that. Yeah, yeah.
- 4:06I'm not sure how that would work anyway, but.
- 4:10Don't worry, I'll be. I'm sure I'll be ready.
- 4:12When you're back in America, in Australia or I'm in America,
- 4:16I'll be ready to go. Good.
- 4:19I'll get some knee pads. Hey, look, if you want an excuse
- 4:22to come over here, I got some good news for you.
- 4:25PAX East is on sale right now if you want to go to PAX East.
- 4:30I do want to go to PAX East. So listeners, watches,
- 4:34witnesses. Sorry, March 26th to 29th
- 4:3920202026 if you could speak. Badges on sale now.
- 4:45Get them while they're hot. Do you want to go?
- 4:49Do they have? I don't.
- 4:50Think they sell out in a way that they're the same way they
- 4:52used to but. Yeah, same in Australia.
- 4:55I don't sell out instantly anymore.
- 4:57Yeah, like you can. The three days tend to sell out
- 5:01pretty quickly like, but it'll be a few weeks.
- 5:04It's not like it was in the first few days anymore, but
- 5:08they're still getting. I think I packed a show, we had
- 5:10like 85,000 people there or something.
- 5:13Yeah, right. Which is pretty huge.
- 5:16I'll try and come next year I'm going to try.
- 5:19Please try. OK.
- 5:23Then you can spend Sunday coming and talking to people with me.
- 5:26Very good, I'll do it. Sunday's the day to talk to
- 5:29people, the rest of the day just have fun.
- 5:31But yeah, yours is 4 days, isn't it?
- 5:33Yes, yes, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 5:37Yeah, So I will. I mean, unless something strange
- 5:40happens, I'll be at this if any of the watches are air attending
- 5:45any watches slash witnesses, slash witness.
- 5:48Forget what to call you people. Free play areas with over 2 1/2
- 5:54thousand games to choose from. From currents and classic
- 5:57consoles. Handheld PCVR, Is VR still a
- 6:01thing? Because I know it packs
- 6:02Australia VR was there's only a couple of things that had VR.
- 6:06Yeah, I mean, I've got my PS5IN over here now and my VR thing is
- 6:12hanging up and I haven't used it.
- 6:14Yeah. I just I just.
- 6:16I see a lot of effort to put it on.
- 6:18I think there's a lot of effort. You need room.
- 6:20And I think the problem is, is because you had they competed
- 6:24against each other. It's such a small market.
- 6:27Yeah, I think that sort of killed it where they should have
- 6:30been. I think Microsoft in this
- 6:33particular instance, not in not in many people would argue, but
- 6:36in this particular instance, they were correct.
- 6:38They were like, no, I'm not going to bother with that.
- 6:40Yeah. And like, seems like that was
- 6:42the right move because yeah, hasn't caught on the way
- 6:46everyone thought. No.
- 6:48Like it is good, but yeah. Yeah, like I've played a few
- 6:52things on it and I enjoyed it, but it just, it's a still a
- 6:57gimmick. There's still no big draw card.
- 7:00I know Half Life Alec is evidently very, very good.
- 7:03People love that. But that's one game.
- 7:07The rest seem to be more I. Think the problem with it mostly
- 7:11is that you've I find I really only want to play games where
- 7:14I'm supposed to be sitting down because otherwise it's kind of
- 7:17weird because you have to move around.
- 7:18Well, in Australia you we don't have the space in our rooms to
- 7:24sure be walking around like in America.
- 7:26I think you've got bigger rooms so you get more of a chance to
- 7:30be able to. But there's only two games I'd
- 7:32like to play the like racing games, maybe a space SIM.
- 7:35Racing games are good and yeah and well.
- 7:37Yeah exactly. I want Star Wars Squadrons but
- 7:43it doesn't have PSVR 2 support. Are we silence?
- 7:49I actually did look at buying a VR headset just for that because
- 7:53that would have been amazing to play.
- 7:55Yeah, yes, VR2. How good is Star Wars Squadrons
- 8:02on a PS:? VR2.
- 8:03It runs at 1080P on the on the PSVR 1.
- 8:09But you've got the two. Yeah, yeah, it.
- 8:12Doesn't work with it? What?
- 8:16Like why? Why not?
- 8:23Yeah. Whatever.
- 8:25Well, yeah, GTA, GTA, Gran Turismo is good on it, but also
- 8:29I can just play it on my TV if I want to play it because.
- 8:31And my main problem is that I don't have a lot of time and so
- 8:35there needs to be less barriers to me playing a game.
- 8:37Yeah, and sending up a VR headset and stuff.
- 8:40But have you actually wait? There is some GTA news?
- 8:43No, no, that was a bit of a slip.
- 8:46The release date has been pushed back again.
- 8:49Really. I mean, I don't care, but all
- 8:51right, till when? To November 2026.
- 8:55OK. So one year.
- 8:57So because it was meant to come out, it was meant to be coming
- 9:00out like now originally, and then they pushed it back to May
- 9:03next year and now it's November next year.
- 9:07So for me, if you want to buy stocks, buy stocks now.
- 9:13Now's the time. In Rockstar.
- 9:15In Rockstar because it'll be a dip because of the bad news.
- 9:19This is not financial advice. We need to be really clear about
- 9:21that only this is what all the Youtubers do.
- 9:23So let's be really clear, this is not financial advice.
- 9:26Not financial advice, but if you were going to.
- 9:29Yeah, we'll just theoretically. Theoretically, now would be the
- 9:34time, because that's the big thing.
- 9:37The second day it sells, their stocks are going to go way up.
- 9:40So you think there'd be a dip there again?
- 9:42Buy the dip. You know, financial, there's not
- 9:45financial advice. I've never brought a stock in my
- 9:47life and I don't even know how. Go to www.stock.com.
- 9:53No, don't do that. Definitely don't do that.
- 9:56That is not financial advice. Do not do that at least.
- 9:59What is that? Oh, that's your KFC.
- 10:02That's my KFC, I'm not answering it.
- 10:06I've told him I've cancelled it in a meeting.
- 10:09Right, that's funny. Just going to leave it down
- 10:16there. Is he?
- 10:17I'm just going to, yeah, I might go down in about 15 minutes and
- 10:23collect it, but not I'm in a meeting at the moment.
- 10:26I've told him I've cancelled it. I'm just messaging again, said
- 10:34Order is cancelled. Cancelled.
- 10:45I am in a meeting. All right, let me just go
- 10:54respond to him. I'll be back in a second.
- 10:56All right, sounds good. I will entertain the watches
- 11:01somehow. What can we talk about?
- 11:04Watches that Luke won't care about.
- 11:08Let's see. So there's an article in here
- 11:13about rapper RBX who I've not heard of.
- 11:17He has apparently done a bunch of collabs with people like
- 11:21Doctor Dre, so I left. You a message.
- 11:24I also left a message many long so order is cancelled.
- 11:27Thank you. Bye.
- 11:43Well done. Did he say anything?
- 11:50I didn't hear anything. I did send him a message.
- 11:53I said as I as I said, order is cancelled.
- 11:57Said I was going to be in a meeting for two hours.
- 11:59That's three hours late. Yeah, I mean, that's not the
- 12:03driver's fault necessarily, but. No, I called the stall, I
- 12:07messaged the new log, I messaged the Curry.
- 12:09There's not much more I could have done.
- 12:11True. It's the system.
- 12:15I was just telling the I started to tell the watchers, the
- 12:19witnesses. There's a rapper by the name
- 12:21goes by the name RBX who is suing Spotify and I've never
- 12:27heard of this art artist before but he has apparently
- 12:30collaborated with Doctor Dre and Snoop so he's not a nobody.
- 12:33OK. And he's suing Spotify because
- 12:37he's saying nobody spends 24 hours listening to Drake and
- 12:42Spotify is intentionally ignoring fraudulent streams in
- 12:46order to make money. So.
- 12:49But how do they make money from? Well.
- 12:54I can't understand Drake making money but I don't understand how
- 12:57Spotify. Was losing money, like I, I'm
- 13:00not sure exclusively 23 hours a day, which seems sort of
- 13:04straggering and irregular. Yes, because if people don't
- 13:07know the way Spotify works is you subscribe and your money
- 13:10goes into a big pool and it gets distributed based on how many
- 13:15people are listening to whatever.
- 13:18And if somebody is faking it, whether it's Drake or whether
- 13:24it's Drake fans or whoever it is, if somebody's like
- 13:28fraudulently streaming Drake 24 hours a day, that's taking money
- 13:32away from independent artists because not because you would
- 13:37get less streams, but because it makes the pot smaller.
- 13:40Small, yeah, because. Because it's taking money out of
- 13:42the pot that is fraudulent. So because I think so I've seen
- 13:46that argument too, is people like, well, if you people listen
- 13:48to your song 10 times, them not listening to Drake doesn't mean
- 13:51they're going to listen to you. But it's like, no, no, but
- 13:53there's less money available. Yes, yeah, because there's,
- 13:56yeah, there's a certain amount and they've just split it out to
- 13:59whoever's getting the listeners to sign up to them.
- 14:02Right. So it's yeah.
- 14:03So anyway, this guy's suing them.
- 14:05I think that's quite interesting.
- 14:06I do think Spotify, it's one of guys got a bunch of issues it
- 14:11needs to fucking deal with like the AI content stuff and.
- 14:18I reckon the AI content, there should be no money going to
- 14:21that. Oh, well, yeah, I I agree.
- 14:26I think it's probably more complicated than that, Yes.
- 14:31But I do think right now that should be how it is because
- 14:35like, who owns the copyright? Well, people are just spewing
- 14:38out AI stuff at the moment and just throwing it up there
- 14:41because people just want to. Not some people just they're
- 14:45listening to Spotify and Google Music and stuff, not to listen
- 14:48to some to a specific thing, just background noise.
- 14:52So they don't care what it is. Yeah, I've had stuff come on and
- 14:56I'm like, I'm, I'm now I don't know whether to trust it.
- 14:59I'm, I'm like, I'll hear a song and I go, this is cool.
- 15:01And then I go, hang on a minute, is this a real band?
- 15:04And then I have to like, do a bit of research.
- 15:06And if I can't find enough information about them, I'm
- 15:09like, gosh, it's probably AI. Yeah, because it's so easy to do
- 15:13like. It's terrifyingly easy to.
- 15:16Yes, like music, lyrics, the voices.
- 15:21They'll just generate everything.
- 15:22You don't have to do very much at all.
- 15:24You can spend 30 minutes and you can have an album.
- 15:26It's fucking crazy. And while I will give credit,
- 15:29there are some people who could who are quite good at AI and can
- 15:33make it probably do more and get a lot more out of it.
- 15:36But still, there are people who are more efficient.
- 15:41I did see an article about whether it's, I don't, like I
- 15:46said, don't use it enough to know anything, know about this
- 15:48stuff. But you know how you can, you
- 15:51can ask it to do something right and then you can have an ongoing
- 15:54conversation where it kind of refines what it was doing.
- 15:57Yep. Or you can try and get your very
- 16:02first initial prompt good enough that it gets it right first time
- 16:07and it was just this discussion about which way to do it gets
- 16:11the best results. Well, that's though it's kind of
- 16:14interesting. Kind of interesting.
- 16:16Well, it depends on what you're using it for though.
- 16:18That's what I say what it comes down to.
- 16:20Like if you're using it for like a work thing, like I want it to
- 16:23spew out minutes from a meeting or something, you want your
- 16:26first prompt to be the. Yeah, just give it this.
- 16:29Format to do this and done. You don't want to be back and
- 16:33forward with it. Yeah, but I don't know if.
- 16:35It's a creative thing. Like I've, I've went on an AI
- 16:39thing with IBM this week and even they're saying like AI is
- 16:45not the thing that should be making the decision.
- 16:47It's not the end. It's meant to be helping you.
- 16:51It's meant to be still human intervention.
- 16:53So. That's what works best is just,
- 16:55yeah, you know, just ideas and stuff.
- 16:59Yeah, just like. But like, don't just run with
- 17:01its ideas, just inspiration. I guess inspiration, but also,
- 17:05but like with the music and stuff, that's just throwing in
- 17:08stuff. Music.
- 17:09Yep, I'm done, Finished. That's not helping.
- 17:12That's. I would say, yeah, I don't, I'm
- 17:15not, I'm not into that. I think if you want to use it to
- 17:18kind of quickly iterate on ideas and and kind of come up with
- 17:22stuff, I think that's probably fine.
- 17:24Yeah, I do think there's a line there, but I I'm, I think
- 17:29that's, that's probably personal, like as in I have a
- 17:31line where I'm comfortable and I'm pretty sure that my line is
- 17:35way further back than a lot of other people's lines, given the
- 17:38amount of shit that's on the Internet right now.
- 17:40AI slop. But yeah.
- 17:43I'm starting to see on even YouTube now because I like
- 17:47watching a lot of crime stuff and sovereign citizens and court
- 17:50cases, and there are so many channels now that are just AOI
- 17:54crap. Yeah, it's just, and I'm just
- 17:57no, I don't want. I like hearing commentary and
- 18:00people talking about the cases, but the AI stuff is just
- 18:06honestly, I don't just repeat what they just saw.
- 18:10Yeah, yeah, I I saw that. I I was there for that.
- 18:13That's not your opinion that she's you explaining what just
- 18:17happened. Yeah.
- 18:19So. Yeah, I think for me the actual
- 18:22creation is should be done by a human, yeah.
- 18:26Like earlier stuff could be AI assisted I suppose.
- 18:28But like you said like if it's a video the like the voice over a
- 18:32person should do that. I think for me, and I know that
- 18:35it's probably good enough that I can't tell sometimes, but if I
- 18:38knew, I'd prefer it to be a human, you know?
- 18:42Even if it's, you're using it as you're writing the script.
- 18:45And and again, I think a person should revise and do the final
- 18:49version of that if you want to get ideas.
- 18:52I think, I think I'm fine with that.
- 18:53But yeah. But not have the he.
- 18:56Here's the video. Throw some stuff in and I can
- 18:59just publish it and I'll make money from it.
- 19:01Nah, I hate that stupid. So I'm interested, I'm actually
- 19:05quite interested in this court case.
- 19:08Yeah, yeah. Because I think, I mean, this
- 19:13court case is not necessarily about AI.
- 19:15It is an element of that because I do think they're using agents
- 19:18to do this stuff. But yes, listen, Spotify's got a
- 19:22bunch of stuff they need to figure out.
- 19:23They're the worst of them. Well, I think it's happening
- 19:26across the board now. They are starting to crack down.
- 19:29I know Twitch has had a big crackdown on how it views
- 19:34viewers now and so is Google Now, so a lot of big.
- 19:37Problems of its own. Big, big.
- 19:41I know on Google a lot of big streamers have lost View
- 19:44viewers, right? But they're not actually losing
- 19:47money. Interesting.
- 19:49So it's sort of been a bit of a thing where they're probably
- 19:53just cleaning out the bots who are just there just to boost
- 19:56views. But but, but what actually you?
- 20:01Know Fact Check myself on something here.
- 20:06But it's one of those things that Google and Twitch don't
- 20:08actually tell you what they're actually doing to do it.
- 20:11So it's a lot of it is speculation.
- 20:16Yeah, No, I don't. I was going to say I there is a
- 20:18Twitch related thing, but I think I'm not ready to talk
- 20:20about it yet. It's a.
- 20:22It's a. Is it the Emeru thing and the.
- 20:25Yeah, yeah. And the and the allegations she
- 20:29came out with. Yes, but I don't think I'm, I
- 20:32don't think we're ready to talk about that yet.
- 20:33That's simmering. Yeah, this is a defamation
- 20:36lawsuit in the. Word defamation lawsuit coming
- 20:38out and I, I was watching a watch.
- 20:41There's a lawyer I watched and he's gone.
- 20:43This guy has just made the biggest mistake going out with
- 20:46this lawsuit because it's just going to bring out all of this
- 20:49dirt. This yes, all of the chats.
- 20:52It's very the things going to make.
- 20:54Everything, it's very Internet drama at the moment.
- 20:56I think at a certain point we'll know more hard detail.
- 20:59Well, I mean, there's some hard details.
- 21:00I did see Emery's video. So, OK, so if we don't know
- 21:03Emery, who we talked about the other week, she was assaulted at
- 21:07Twitchcon. Someone walked up and just
- 21:10waltzed by. Security have a bit of a go.
- 21:13Oh, yeah. And I saw this discussion
- 21:14online. It popped into my feed because
- 21:17Alana Pierce responded to this guy who had said, remember when
- 21:23it was OK for guys to kind of just have a go, you know, have a
- 21:26crack, Take a crack, take their shot.
- 21:28Or was it, you know, yeah, take their shot, I think was the
- 21:30phrase he used. And then everybody was just
- 21:32like, no, mate, no. No, no, it's never OK to do
- 21:36that. You're shot, but there's taking
- 21:38your shot with someone you, you know, like you have a
- 21:41relationship with. You don't just walk up to a
- 21:44random celebrity and try to to fucking make out with them.
- 21:46That's not called shooting your shot.
- 21:48That's called sexual assault assault.
- 21:52So yeah, so but she after that did a stream where she said she
- 22:00had a few things she wanted to talk about.
- 22:01That was one of them. And the other was that her
- 22:03ex-boyfriend also sexually assaulted her.
- 22:09And there was a bunch of other worse things too, domestic
- 22:11violence and a lot of other stuff that she.
- 22:14Like dictating when she could stream because he didn't want
- 22:17them together because. And having a mental breakdown
- 22:20because she got more streamed, had more viewers than him.
- 22:24And then and then now people have gone back and she said,
- 22:27yeah, he, he quit the stream and he was slamming doors and
- 22:30punching holes and walls in the background.
- 22:31And then people have gone back the clips and you could hear it
- 22:34in the background. And it's like, oh fuck.
- 22:36But also, like, she is an amazing sort of actress to come
- 22:41back from that because one of the things like he came, he quit
- 22:44a stream was slamming doors doing, oh, yeah, I'm just going
- 22:47to go to the toilet for a minute just to jump right there went,
- 22:50oh, that was long as it's gone for 20 minutes.
- 22:52And you know, she'd just been arguing for 20.
- 22:54Yeah, now you know what she was actually doing.
- 22:56You see the But she came. Back and she was Oh yeah, it's
- 23:00very. Professional.
- 23:01Yeah, to. Play video games but yeah, no,
- 23:05no, no, I say I, I yeah, I agree she seems like that yeah, that
- 23:10would have been difficult so anyway, yes, so that's come out
- 23:15and then now he's suing her and somebody else so again, this
- 23:19it's all simmering and happening we'll see that because.
- 23:22They was in. They were in like a streamer
- 23:23house. Yeah, right.
- 23:25Yeah. It's probably like maybe non
- 23:28disclosure agreements or stuff about going out with drama in
- 23:33the house or something. Maybe I.
- 23:34Don't know, I mean, well, I hope it's not legal to fucking have
- 23:38an NDA that says she can't talk about that kind of shit.
- 23:42Like like petty drama, sure, but some of the stuff she's
- 23:45alleging? I think you know what the is NDA
- 23:48is that can be signed off if there's an agreement I think
- 23:51like. Trump, I don't think you can
- 23:53preemptively say. You can't preferably do it, but
- 23:57you can come to an agreement after it.
- 24:00Sure, but I don't know. Yeah, OK.
- 24:02I guess we'll find out. But if I invite you over and I
- 24:06go look, I see you just sign this bit of paper that says no
- 24:08matter what I do to you, he waive all your legal rights.
- 24:12I'm not sure that's binding. No, I don't think that is.
- 24:16Maybe. Because I remember where we went
- 24:19to paintball once and our lawyer Grant went like, because he had
- 24:21to sign the thing to go. Oh, he said that.
- 24:23Was the way. Yeah.
- 24:24And Greg goes, yeah, yeah, you can't sign away any of these
- 24:27rights. Like if they you get hurt as
- 24:29their. Responsibility.
- 24:31Rights. Yeah, so because of this this,
- 24:37my YouTube has been presenting me with this content now because
- 24:40I've obviously I've shown interest because we were talking
- 24:43about it and it's also showing me some Azman Gold stuff, you
- 24:48know, Azman Gold. I I know of him, but I've never
- 24:52really seen anything of him. So he I think he was mostly like
- 24:57a World of Warcraft streamer. Don't, don't write in, OK?
- 24:59I don't know. I'm not an expert on Twitch
- 25:01streamers, OK, but I I did find out I've I've been watching some
- 25:06of some of these that were interesting.
- 25:08He and a bunch of the other streamers from OTK, which is
- 25:11like a streaming like a collective of Twitch.
- 25:14Streamers. Started APC building company and
- 25:17there's been videos about that and I thought those those were
- 25:19interesting. I watched Kim react to Gamers
- 25:22Nexus reviewing his PCSI just like that kind of content
- 25:26entertaining. And then also I but then I found
- 25:30out Asman Gold's become very controversial because he's very
- 25:33pro Trump now. And apparently he's because of
- 25:37that, he's now split with all of that stuff.
- 25:40He's no longer involved with his the streamer collective OTK.
- 25:43He's no longer associated with the Star Forge, the PC building
- 25:48company. And I say, oh, that's
- 25:49interesting. So he's become kind of AI.
- 25:53Guess what's the word? A bit outside.
- 25:58Radioactive, yes. But I don't think he's I think
- 26:01he's also been doing fine because I think he's been making
- 26:03millions for many years. No, no, I agree.
- 26:05So but the reason that's relevant is that he is also he's
- 26:09in that group of with Emeru and whatever her fucking ex
- 26:12boyfriend's name is, all those people.
- 26:15So I just I think it's I'm being presented with a lot of content
- 26:18now and it's like, OK, it's just funny.
- 26:20I've never been into Twitch streamers.
- 26:22So it's all kind of new and there's a lot of drama to catch
- 26:26up on. Because yeah, I don't watch
- 26:29Twitch. I I don't but I I catch bits
- 26:32from YouTube is where I catch. That's the same.
- 26:35I know YouTube is like, yeah, you know, it goes, oh, you like
- 26:38that? How about this?
- 26:39And then I Oh yeah, OK. Like I was in Penguin 0 or Moist
- 26:43Critical or whatever he wants to be called at a time.
- 26:45That's a lot of information from him.
- 26:47Oh, he is a was in the same group or whatever.
- 26:50But I think he's yeah. But I think he's, he's really
- 26:53just split and done his own thing.
- 26:55He's like right split from Twitch and so he just streamed.
- 26:59Anyway, kicked off fucking whatever, and Kick actually,
- 27:03ironically, is another. Kick Kick is the one where you
- 27:07can get away with anything. They're.
- 27:09Getting banned off on it. No, somebody, oh God, it doesn't
- 27:13matter. This is all new to me.
- 27:14Somebody got banned from Kick and I was like, oh, OK, that's.
- 27:17Fine. It takes a bit of effort to get
- 27:18spanned from Quick Kick, yeah. So anyway, streamer drama.
- 27:29I've got some bad news for you though, Luke.
- 27:32Why? What's happened?
- 27:34You've been beaten, not beaten physically.
- 27:38Oh, thank God. As you would be well aware,
- 27:43because obviously we all thought you were a shoo in the The
- 27:47Sexiest Man Alive. The People Sexiest Man Alive
- 27:50competition has just wrapped up and I'm sorry to say Jonathan
- 27:56Bailey has been has been voted the sexiest.
- 27:59Man alive, Bailey. Well, you better get used to it
- 28:02because he is your superior. He is.
- 28:06An actor who this guy is. He's an actor.
- 28:09He's in some things. I've seen the things he's in.
- 28:13I've never seen him before until this article as far as a Moyer,
- 28:17but he is the sexiest man on earth.
- 28:22I, I don't see it and I honestly don't see it.
- 28:26I think there's better. I think there's so much better
- 28:29out there and you're looking at him right now.
- 28:31I. Was going to say, OK, who else?
- 28:33If you so say, say just obviously it's ridiculous to say
- 28:38that you wouldn't be in running because you obviously you are.
- 28:41But if you were disqualified for some reason, who do you think
- 28:45should get it sexiest? You can say me, it's fine.
- 28:50OK, yeah, yeah, you were there. But if you had me.
- 28:53Actually, no. I gave you an easy out.
- 28:54I gave you an easy out. OK, Dan and I are also.
- 28:57Disqualified. We've been, we've been really
- 29:00racist and we've been disqualified.
- 29:03I mean, that would obviously never happen, but.
- 29:05What's his name? Because I think he's really made
- 29:08a comeback lately. He was in Barbie.
- 29:11Ryan Gosling. Ryan Gosling.
- 29:12I think Ryan Gosling's made a comeback.
- 29:14Interesting. Be back up at that level.
- 29:16OK all. Right, just because his
- 29:19personality as well, because I don't see sexy as just.
- 29:22I was going to say I like Ryan Gosling, but I don't know that
- 29:24he's. Yeah, I don't know.
- 29:28Like I'm not going just body, I'm going.
- 29:31I don't know. He just seems to.
- 29:32Be like a man with a mind. I look bad.
- 29:35He's, he's like so fun and he's come a bit around a little bit
- 29:38more and he, I think he is a bit more fun than he used to be.
- 29:41Sure, sure, sure. He's not serious.
- 29:44He was, yeah. He just used to refuse to eat
- 29:46cereal and now he now he sings songs as well.
- 29:50Yeah. Yeah, 'cause I knew him from
- 29:53Drive, which I mean, he's quite serious in Drive.
- 29:56Yeah. This guy is in this guy.
- 30:00Jonathan Bailey is in Wicked. I haven't seen it, I've seen a
- 30:04play but. He is in.
- 30:05He's in Wicked, he's in Bridgeton, which is a Netflix
- 30:08series that I've not seen. He's in.
- 30:12He's in the new Jurassic World. I'm going to guess that there's
- 30:16Bridgeton that they did it. What is Bridgeton?
- 30:19Let me look at this. That's a Bridgeton.
- 30:21It's a period's drama. And I think the the voters of
- 30:26that would have been the ones that would have been.
- 30:28Yeah, he's the one. I think that's the one that
- 30:31pushed. That would have been the show
- 30:32that pushed him over the edge. OK OK so this is just an oldie
- 30:37schoolie like Downton Abbey style thing is.
- 30:41It. Yeah, All right, I'll be back in
- 30:43a second. I'm going to see if they left my
- 30:44KFC. All right, get it before it gets
- 30:52too cold. Oh wait, it's summer there now.
- 30:59I won't try and entertain you without him.
- 31:00I'll just wait till he gets back.
- 31:02I'll probably edit this out. You are muted.
- 31:13There was no KFC. He's eating it.
- 31:18He's probably eating it so now I don't know if it's going to be
- 31:21an argument to get my refund. Yeah, I mean I feel like 3 hours
- 31:25wait is reasonable to request a refund.
- 31:29Did say it was delivered though. But it's not.
- 31:33No, it wasn't. All right.
- 31:35Well then you got double. No, We'll see what happens,
- 31:40yeah. How much?
- 31:43How much does AKFC cost these days Down Under?
- 31:46A fortune. Really.
- 31:48Especially because, well, because I was buying enough,
- 31:51it'd last me for like a couple of days.
- 31:56Yeah, yeah. Like I was getting a three piece
- 31:58fee which is like $20 and then I've just got some extra chicken
- 32:01just to sit in the fridge and I was going to eat tomorrow for
- 32:03lunch type of thing. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:07So we'll see what happens. All right, Well, look, do you do
- 32:14you like cars, Luke? I know of Cars.
- 32:18You've seen movies? Cars.
- 32:19You like cars? Yeah, I've seen the movie Cars.
- 32:23I like the first one. The sequel got a bit weird when
- 32:26he was an international spy or something.
- 32:29I've not seen the sequel. I've seen, you know, ironically,
- 32:32I've seen Cars and I've seen Cars three.
- 32:35I've not seen Cars 2. So cast 2 is a is a spy for the
- 32:40British intelligence or something ridiculous.
- 32:42Why is he spy for British intelligence?
- 32:44I don't know. Yeah, it doesn't matter.
- 32:47Well, none of the cars from cars will be available in this.
- 32:52Particular McLean. Auction.
- 32:54But there is a movie car auction currently in effect, and there
- 33:00are some good cars in there. If you like movie cars, for
- 33:04example, there's the OK. Some of these are replicas and I
- 33:08don't have the entire list in front of me.
- 33:10I'm just scrolling through the pictures here.
- 33:12So double check if you want to bid on one of these, make sure
- 33:14it's what you want. Some of them are replicas, some
- 33:16of them are actually the cars from the movie.
- 33:20Replica because that would be cheaper and I'm OK not owning
- 33:24the original if it runs. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:28There's a, there's the Dukes of Hazzard car.
- 33:30What do you call it? The I forget what it's called,
- 33:33it's. Just Dukes there was a name for.
- 33:35No, it's got a name. Yeah, it's got a name.
- 33:36It could, it might be, might be racist.
- 33:40The General Lee, I think it's called the.
- 33:42General Lee, that was it. Is that, is that a generally
- 33:49Confederate general? Yeah, OK not, yeah, OK not.
- 33:51Necessarily because it did also have the the flag on the top as
- 33:55well because I did make fun of in the movie.
- 33:58Yeah, right. OK, the Johnny Knox, but.
- 34:00On the television show, it was just a thing.
- 34:03Yeah, yeah, whatever. Actually, I'm looking at some of
- 34:06the prices. They're not insane.
- 34:09No, there's a one of the futuristic cop cars from Back to
- 34:12the Future 2. There's a bunch of cars from
- 34:16Fast and the Furious. Some of the in one of those
- 34:19movies, they do up a bunch of cars to be like off road.
- 34:23You can get those from the movie, but I mean, there's a
- 34:27long list of cars. There's a bunch of James Bond
- 34:29cars, not any Aston Martins. There's a BMW, There's a They
- 34:34seem mostly like Pierce Brosnan era Bond cars, so not my
- 34:39favorite. Era.
- 34:40See, I think there's one that I can just see.
- 34:43It's the Ghostbusters car, the Series 75 ambulance that I could
- 34:47go for. Yeah, yeah, Cadillac Ambulance.
- 34:51Yeah, there's a bunch. Yeah, there's a bunch of stuff.
- 34:54We'll link to the actual thing. There's a car from RoboCop.
- 34:57A police car from RoboCop. What?
- 35:01The Batmobile, the. Timber *1 called from a.
- 35:05Stunt show. It's not from one of the movies.
- 35:07But the RoboCop one, that's nothing special.
- 35:10He was just. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but but but
- 35:14it's. From the but it's the car.
- 35:16Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's from the new RoboCop,
- 35:20it should be clear. Not the old RoboCop, Yeah.
- 35:26So I don't know, Just I think it's interesting.
- 35:28I don't think you can actually bid on this stuff yet.
- 35:30At least you couldn't when I read this the other day.
- 35:35They're also in euros, so there's.
- 35:39Also I've just seen a link here, there's a YouTube channel that
- 35:46the guy who owns the museum I I believe.
- 35:51I could be wrong has a YouTube channel where he he shows a
- 35:55bunch of cars and stuff like that but he's anyway they're
- 35:57being sold so because. I could have actually sort of
- 36:01understand like, oh Kit. Oh yeah, yeah, there's a Trans
- 36:05Am in there. Yeah, yeah.
- 36:06Yeah, I can. I can sort of understand why he
- 36:09might be selling stuff because they I'm really going to put out
- 36:12there a car museum like this I don't think would be bringing
- 36:16the dough. No, probably not.
- 36:20We saw when we were in Seattle years ago, they have a film
- 36:28museum, I guess it's called there.
- 36:29I can't remember what it's called, but they've got a bunch
- 36:31of cool, they've got some cool movie cars in it, like the
- 36:33police spinner from Blade Runner.
- 36:36That's what they also had the this, the actual ship like this,
- 36:40the Battlestar Galactica, the 22,000 and four Battlestar
- 36:43Galactica. They had the ships from that.
- 36:45And they also took all the models and yeah, they're.
- 36:48Like full size like, yeah. So that was cool.
- 36:53So I don't know this stuff. I mean, I would go see this
- 36:56stuff. There's a Mad Max museum.
- 36:57We've talked about this. Actually, we talked about trying
- 36:59to do a road trip one time. Yeah, in the middle of fucking
- 37:01nowhere. There's a Mad Max museum.
- 37:03Yep. With the cars.
- 37:04I can't make a lot of money being where it is.
- 37:07Well, it's a pub. OK.
- 37:09Oh, OK. And it's like the pub that's in
- 37:12the area. Well, that's fine then.
- 37:13Yeah, I think it's sort of a pub.
- 37:15And then also, hey, we've got some Mad Max stuff as well.
- 37:17Yeah, all right. If you're a pub in Australia,
- 37:19you'll be fine. Yeah.
- 37:22Especially if you're like the only pub in hundreds of
- 37:24kilometers. Yeah, and you've got the Mad Max
- 37:27cars, too. Yeah, that would make that would
- 37:29get me going in. Yeah.
- 37:31So anyway, yeah, if you want a famous movie vehicle, have a
- 37:34look. And if you buy one, let us know
- 37:36because I'd love to know what you bought.
- 37:38No one's going to do that but. No.
- 37:41If they did, they should let us know.
- 37:44Let us know what you'd want to buy.
- 37:47Yeah. Because I don't want any of the
- 37:49Fast and Furious crap. If you could have any movie
- 37:53vehicle, what would it be? Ignore that list any.
- 37:56Movie. I'd probably really want a
- 37:58DeLorean. Yeah, OK.
- 38:00Yeah, I'd like a DeLorean. Like I really would.
- 38:03And I still don't understand why DeLorean didn't really take off
- 38:08because everyone loves the car. They do now because of Back to
- 38:11the Future. I don't know that they did at
- 38:13the time. I think it was too ahead of its
- 38:16time in a way. Yeah.
- 38:18But yeah, I think they're manufacturing issues, right?
- 38:20Because it's made of stainless steel.
- 38:22I'm pretty sure it was a. Yeah, it was a weird one.
- 38:25Yeah, but that a DeLorean is probably like, would be my dream
- 38:29car. Yeah, OK.
- 38:31I want an Aston Martin DB5 and it's never going to happen, but
- 38:35I just think that would be great.
- 38:37See, mine's actually attain attainable.
- 38:40True, Yeah. I mean, mine's not impossible,
- 38:44it's just I don't have the money.
- 38:45Mine's a lot easier. True, Deloreans are slightly
- 38:50easier. They're still expensive now
- 38:52though. For what?
- 38:53For what they were. And also, I think you're going
- 38:55to put a lot of work into them to get them to run.
- 38:58Yeah, I think they also had a lot of reliability issues.
- 39:00That's the other problem they had.
- 39:02Like you buy them cheap because they don't run.
- 39:06I've seen in my life, I've seen, I've seen them here more often.
- 39:10I've seen maybe 2 in Australia when I was still like like as
- 39:15in, I mean, I lived there for what, for 35 years and any of us
- 39:18saw two Deloreans? As far as I'm I'm aware, one was
- 39:21in Penrith of all places and the other one was like on a road
- 39:26trip. Either it would be Melbourne or
- 39:29Brisbane. And it was just, it came over
- 39:32the hill and instantly knew what it was because it's just so
- 39:36fucking iconic. Like it, like it's also in the
- 39:38distance. Came over the hill and I was
- 39:39like, that's a fucking DeLorean. Because it would have had to
- 39:41have become like changed the side and the steering wheel and
- 39:46stuff like that. Like there wouldn't be many like
- 39:48it. Yeah, yeah, we can get a left
- 39:51hand drive in Australia. You'd have a big gift of a big
- 39:53sign on the back. Or at least you.
- 39:54Used. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:56It says. Yeah, a lot of the classic cars
- 39:58have yeah. Like we're left hand drive, so
- 40:00we're yeah. Yeah, if you want to get like an
- 40:02old like Dodge or whatever, because we just didn't have them
- 40:06in Australia. No.
- 40:08And if you want to get, if you for some reason want to get a
- 40:10Torana or a in Gemini or something in the US, you're
- 40:15going to put it on the other side.
- 40:17Yep. But I don't think anybody over
- 40:19here knows what the fuck that is.
- 40:21So either of those cars. Because if you don't have, will
- 40:24Holden's done a thing anymore? No, if you watch Mad Max you'll
- 40:29see tiranas. Yep.
- 40:32And probably some others, but the the police chases in the
- 40:36first movie I believe are Holden Tiranas.
- 40:39And then it then they turn into the Dodge Charger and stuff like
- 40:42that. The sequel.
- 40:44Yeah, yeah, they get more American.
- 40:45Yeah. Recognizable, I believe.
- 40:49Well, actually no, because then they get weirder too, because
- 40:51they've all got shit bolted on them it.
- 40:53Doesn't really matter what. They are, Oh no, but it's a
- 40:56Ford. His car is always that Ford
- 41:02Interceptor, the model of it up there, and I think it was
- 41:07always, that's an Australian car.
- 41:09I don't think he ever got that over here.
- 41:12And that was always Max's car. Yeah.
- 41:16Anyway, Speaking of movies, actually Speaking of older
- 41:20movies, we've got a bunch of sequel news this week.
- 41:24There's some of these coming up. I'm I'm not really not of one,
- 41:27but one's really jumping out at me that I'm wow, go on Gremlins
- 41:333. Yeah, Gremlins 3 they have.
- 41:35They've slated it for 2027 and we don't know anything else
- 41:40about it as far as I know. Just they've said, yeah, we're
- 41:44going to make Gremlins 3. It's going to come out in 2027.
- 41:47The one thing I'm sort of liking is they're calling it Gremlins 3
- 41:50and not we're rebooting it. It's I'm hoping it's like a
- 41:54direct sequel. Yeah, oh, you know what?
- 41:57I'm I'm fucking wrong. There's lots of details in this
- 41:59article, I just didn't know them.
- 42:03Also on board is the original film's writer, Chris Columbus,
- 42:06who will produce and direct the film.
- 42:09Scripting duties are going to Final Destination Bloodlines duo
- 42:13Zach Lipovsky and Adam B Stein. I haven't seen Final Destination
- 42:18Bloodlines, so no. It's actually got a release date
- 42:21November 19th, 2027. Yeah. 27th, 27th that's like a
- 42:28date there's. I wonder what kind of movie it
- 42:31will be. Will it be a Gremlins movie or
- 42:33Gremlins 2 movie? I mean, I don't think I know
- 42:35what the answer's going to be, but I just.
- 42:39Yeah, yeah. Gremlins 2 was a very different
- 42:42movie. Gremlins 2 is an incredible
- 42:44movie that would never get made anymore.
- 42:47I still love one of the big one of the big jokes in it is the
- 42:51girl is sort of going back to childhood trauma where her uncle
- 42:55is touching her and that's a joke.
- 42:59Yes, well, because it's it's Gremlins 2 is a a satire of
- 43:04Gremlins and yes, she brings up a traumatic event because that's
- 43:10what she did in the first movie. But it's played this time, it's
- 43:12done for last. And yes, you're right.
- 43:13It's yeah, as I'm saying, you just they would never make a
- 43:16movie like Gremlins 2 ever again.
- 43:18No like I'm not sure how the fuck they even got away with
- 43:20making it the first time. Because it was still a kids
- 43:23movie. Right.
- 43:25But it just, it was like, OK, do we make another horror sequel,
- 43:29Horace, like, you know, fantasy sequel?
- 43:31Or do we just, no, let's just make fun of the first one.
- 43:35Like, I think, I think they're going to go.
- 43:37I think they're going to go with the dark comedy, I think.
- 43:40They have I know I just gremlins 2 I just think is so great I.
- 43:45Haven't seen gremlins in ages. It's almost going to be a shame
- 43:48to make another one now that I'm said that, because it is quite a
- 43:53unique thing where you've got Gremlins, which is this dark
- 43:55fantasy, slightly funny 80s movie, and then Gremlins 2,
- 44:01which is just this very unique, weird fucking thing.
- 44:04The one thing I'm really hoping is they keep them to puppets and
- 44:09not. Yeah, don't give me no CGI
- 44:11gremlins. Thank you.
- 44:12Yeah, because I think that I feel.
- 44:17Like this is one of those ones where they'd make a big fuss
- 44:19about the fact that they didn't. Yeah, because it wouldn't work.
- 44:23I I think I've seen. Having said that, it's going to
- 44:26have CGI gremlins in it. It will, but as long as
- 44:29everything has CGI everything in it now.
- 44:31Background, but I really want to just see like.
- 44:35Like I'm sure they'll have some puppets and maybe they'll use
- 44:38them primarily, but yeah, it will have CGI gremlins in it.
- 44:41Yes. I think it's illegal to not CGI
- 44:44things. But at least have like the
- 44:46foreground main characters be. Yeah.
- 44:50Yeah, yeah. Yeah, Billy Peltzer as a puppet.
- 44:54Right. So I've only got 2 years to wait
- 44:55for that. Is Billy going to be in it?
- 44:58That'd be awesome. Yeah, and wait.
- 45:03It's fun. Can we?
- 45:03Get Phoebe Cates out of retirement.
- 45:06I thought, I'm really hoping it's like a sequel and not a
- 45:09reboot. Yes, just a full on.
- 45:13They all come back. Get Phoebe Cates out of
- 45:16retirement. Yeah, get her to be in this.
- 45:19I miss her. She was great.
- 45:24She got married, retired, just. As some the. 90s just stopped.
- 45:30Because who else? Who was London?
- 45:33Maybe I'll go always go back to Spaceballs and Honey, I Shrunk
- 45:39the Kids. What's his name?
- 45:40Rick Moranis. Rick Moranis But he just his
- 45:42wife died and he went. I retire.
- 45:44I'm going to look after the kids.
- 45:46He's coming back for the new Spaceballs, though.
- 45:49Well, he was actually going to come back sooner, I think, until
- 45:52he was just randomly assaulted in New York.
- 45:56That was fucked up. I don't think that person knew
- 45:58who he was. No, that was he was just
- 45:59kidding. Randomly just punched in the
- 46:02face. That's fucking stupid.
- 46:05What's wrong with people? So there's Gremlins 3 we've got.
- 46:11Well, this is a quick one because this article made me
- 46:14laugh. Because this is the thing too,
- 46:17right? John Carpenter offers an update
- 46:20on the thing too. Do you know what the update is?
- 46:23We're working on it now. I don't know.
- 46:25We'll see. That's the update.
- 46:27I don't think you can make a sequel to the Thing.
- 46:30I mean stop. Yeah, I know.
- 46:35I don't think you should. No, I think it's it.
- 46:38It's perfect. Stop.
- 46:40Just leave. I mean, they made that prequel
- 46:41one. It was terrible.
- 46:42So just don't. Yeah, just just leave it that
- 46:45one as is. I'm I'm happy for that one not
- 46:47to go anywhere that wanted to be one of those things like know
- 46:51when they asked like actors and directors like would you like to
- 46:54do that again or. And they were just Oh yeah, I'd
- 46:56love to or whatever. I hope it's just one of those
- 46:59throw away. Yeah.
- 46:59They're not going to say fuck no, I would never do that.
- 47:02Yeah. So yeah, anyway, this made me
- 47:07laugh because it's like thing to update the update is there's no
- 47:10update, there's. No thing to don't.
- 47:12Worry about it. Yeah, that's just a click bait
- 47:14title. Exactly.
- 47:17But the other one I did see during the week was the Brendan
- 47:19Fraser. Yes.
- 47:21And the new mummy. Yeah, Rachel Weisz and Brendan
- 47:25Fraser the a new Mummy movie. Fuck yeah, Because.
- 47:30He, Brendan Fraser is back because I loved him.
- 47:34He was great. I think it's it's, it's a nice
- 47:39story because he got fucked over so badly.
- 47:42Yeah, no one knew about it, and we all found out and was
- 47:45horrified and now it's kind of like he's gotten.
- 47:48Like, obviously he doesn't. Make up for what happened to
- 47:50him, but. He got screwed over like, and he
- 47:54didn't, Yeah, along with it. As I understand it, someone
- 47:59sexually assaulted him and he told him to fuck off and then
- 48:03they destroyed his career. So his career?
- 48:05Yep. They said, well, you'll never
- 48:08work again. And he didn't.
- 48:09Yeah. Yeah, and he was a great, great
- 48:13actor. Yeah, he was.
- 48:15He was dead set like the the the star in the in the late 90s.
- 48:21The time early. 2000s yeah, he was in everything and the Mummy
- 48:25and Mummy Returns, they were great.
- 48:26And then he just disappeared. Yep.
- 48:27Because apparently he wouldn't let some executive do touch him
- 48:32have have a go at him. Take his shot.
- 48:36Up to Terry Crews as well. Can't believe that.
- 48:38Yeah, Terry Crews. Came up and just grabbed him
- 48:41like oh don't touch me. Like what?
- 48:46Crazy. But, and this is the guise that
- 48:49this is happening to like. Yes, the Terry Crews.
- 48:54Look at Terry Crews. Yeah, I wouldn't.
- 48:57I would. I would know even if I was like,
- 48:59this is my one shot. You got to shoot your shot.
- 49:02Give me a roost style Terry Crews.
- 49:05No. But it's sort of weird, like.
- 49:07It's it would destroy me. How could how do people think
- 49:11that that's OK? And I I.
- 49:14Think I know as we talked about I get so upset because I there's
- 49:18all these great actors that I love they're all apparently
- 49:22Buckwitz yes, apparently the not one of them is innocent.
- 49:26No, it turns out, apparently. You hear like so many things,
- 49:31like you hear so many shows have done jokes about stuff and it's
- 49:35sort of because of stories. And then they all turned out to
- 49:37be true. Like I know.
- 49:41It's very surprising and I think that's why, that's why no one
- 49:43knew about Brendan Fraser is because it is so like at the
- 49:47time it happened, I think it would have been like, why would
- 49:50somebody, why would a guy get sexually assaulted?
- 49:53Yeah, you can't sexually assault a guy.
- 49:55Right, Yeah, yeah. Whereas now, obviously, yeah, of
- 49:58course you fucking can. It's just, and I think there's
- 50:01probably a big thing of guys are probably still afraid to come
- 50:04out about it because. Yes, yeah, that's what Terry
- 50:11Crews was because his wife told him no one's going to believe
- 50:14you because it's Terry Crews. Terry Crews, this huge hulking
- 50:17guy? No one's going to believe that.
- 50:19You would just think that wouldn't.
- 50:20How could that happen? Yeah, but like it's a it's power
- 50:24like in Hollywood, you know, it's.
- 50:27It's the casting cast. We've learned the casting cast.
- 50:29Way worse than we ever thought. They're all a bunch of fucking
- 50:33cunts. And it's all been well known.
- 50:37It's just no one spoke about it because, yeah, as Brendan
- 50:41Fraser, you get your career destroyed.
- 50:43Yeah, not speaking out about it, just saying no.
- 50:48Yeah, yeah, He didn't say anything.
- 50:50He just quietly had his life ruined.
- 50:54Anyway, I'm glad he's back. I'm glad they're both back.
- 50:56I will watch this movie. It probably won't be good, but
- 50:59I'm just glad for him. Yeah.
- 51:04And I like I'm, I'm, I'm pleased with his more recent success,
- 51:08his comeback very, very good. Happy for him.
- 51:14Yeah. Another sequel?
- 51:18OK, here's another one you'll be happy about.
- 51:19I assume maybe Edgar Wright has written a script for Baby Driver
- 51:252. I hated that movie.
- 51:27Did you? OK?
- 51:28I wasn't expecting that. You love Edgar Wright.
- 51:30I love Edgar Wright and I think he was until Baby Driver and
- 51:35that was just what? What is this?
- 51:40OK, I liked Baby Driver, but all right.
- 51:42And so now it's going to be, I'm going to guess he's, I can see
- 51:46how he makes a sequel because he goes to jail, he gets out and
- 51:49then. Drive some more.
- 51:50Drive some more? Yeah.
- 51:52I don't know, Baby Driver just didn't do it for me.
- 51:56Yeah, well, he's written a script, he said.
- 51:59It's written, it's done, it's ready, but there are other
- 52:02things that have to happen for it to become a movie, so.
- 52:05Maybe it'll never pay for it. Yeah, exactly.
- 52:08Someone's. Going to have it in front of
- 52:10the. Fucking cash for it, yeah.
- 52:13And I don't know if that did well the first one.
- 52:17I think it did. I think it did, didn't it?
- 52:19I mean, he got Ant Man from it, right?
- 52:23Oh no, because he he didn't do Ant Man in the end.
- 52:26Yeah, he lost Ant Man. That's right.
- 52:28That's why I blanked on that. But he's got the running man
- 52:32coming out. The running man I'm looking
- 52:35forward to and I really that might really you're not looking
- 52:39forward to that. I mean, it might be all right.
- 52:42I don't know. I've.
- 52:43Been what? I wasn't on board at the start
- 52:45but I've seen a few trailers down with and they're starting
- 52:48to they're at me out, pull me in.
- 52:51I'll watch it, I'll watch it. But the problem is is I've seen
- 52:55a couple of movies like that just recently which are
- 52:58basically just the same movie. Right.
- 53:01Yeah, now this looks a bit different from what from the
- 53:05original. Yeah.
- 53:06Oh, no. I mean, it's different for the
- 53:07original movie, it's a bit different.
- 53:09It's quite different. I've seen other movies come out
- 53:12recently that are pretty much the same thing, like someone
- 53:16wins a prize, they're now the target and everyone's.
- 53:20Trying. To I forget the name of the
- 53:24movie, but yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:27I know what you mean. That genre.
- 53:31Yeah, it's become a sort of thing.
- 53:34Yeah, even I think Radcliffe was in what?
- 53:39Oh yeah, Harry Potter and the The Most Dangerous game.
- 53:45Yeah. Yeah.
- 53:48Yeah, sorry, sorry baby drove 2 does not have me excited is
- 53:52yeah. All right, what about Scream 7?
- 53:56I have not watched any of the screams since like 3.
- 54:02I've seen some, I don't remember them though.
- 54:04People are mad about this one apparently.
- 54:06Although I'll say this, this article says the Scream 7, the
- 54:11article says the Scream 7 trailer come out and people are
- 54:14reacting badly to it and calling for a boycott.
- 54:18And I was like, really? So I looked it up, I looked at
- 54:20the trailer, I watched the trailer and the trailer looks
- 54:22like, you know, another sequel to Scream.
- 54:26I didn't see anything. It's got Neve Campbell in it,
- 54:27which is cool. I like Neve Campbell.
- 54:29It's got Courtney Cox, Neve Campbell, David Arquette.
- 54:33OK, so Lilyde is back, all the original cast.
- 54:36Yeah, Matthew Lillard is back. Somehow.
- 54:38It's got Joel McHale in it. You know, I mean, this looks
- 54:41pretty good. So why are we boycotting?
- 54:43Ethan Embry is in it. Remember Ethan Embry from Can't
- 54:46Hardly Wait. He's in it.
- 54:47Why are we boycotting? So because they're, well, that's
- 54:52the thing. When I looked it up, I thought
- 54:54this looks all right. I went down to the comments to
- 54:55see what are people mad about? No one was mad about anything.
- 54:58Everyone was just like, oh, that looks pretty good.
- 55:00So I don't know where this this reaction is happening.
- 55:04I haven't. I haven't found it, but from
- 55:08what I understand, there was a star of the 5th and 6th films
- 55:15called Melissa Barrera who came out in a way that people didn't
- 55:20like. I don't know what she said
- 55:21because this article doesn't say.
- 55:23She said something about Israel and Gaza that got her fired, and
- 55:30then because she got fired, Jenna Ortega left.
- 55:37Oh, OK. She quit as well, along with the
- 55:40director, Christopher Landon, right.
- 55:42So they one girl got fired for whatever she said.
- 55:44I don't know. I don't know what.
- 55:45It was. I don't know what it was, but.
- 55:48So she got fired. So then General Ortega said,
- 55:50well, I'm out. And then the director said I'm
- 55:52out. And then that whole thing fell
- 55:54apart. And now they've come back with
- 55:57Neve Campbell and Kevin Williamson, who wrote the
- 56:01original Scream, is directing. He directed another one of them
- 56:03totally directed Scream 4, or maybe he directed three anyway,
- 56:09so apparently that's what the problem is.
- 56:12But again, I haven't seen anybody being annoyed about it
- 56:15so. Yeah, well, I mean, if you look
- 56:17at these So like it says to try to like you say, Mark the first
- 56:20virtual push for the film And because of that, a large amount
- 56:23of social media reactions has slammed the film.
- 56:26One post was received over 203,000 likes is called for a
- 56:30boycott and pushed the support of Scary Movie 6 instead.
- 56:35Yeah, yeah. But so it's just the Internet
- 56:38being the Internet. Yeah, and like 1 post, does it
- 56:42mean like a Twitter post or an X post?
- 56:44Because they don't mean anything.
- 56:45Or it could be a YouTube post, or I don't know because
- 56:49everything's a post now. Yeah, well, I can see I looked
- 56:52on YouTube in the comments underneath it and it was not,
- 56:56there was not a lot of dislike. It was mostly people being like,
- 57:00yeah. Does Matthew Leonard die in it?
- 57:04Yes. Do you think die die or is it
- 57:07off? Yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 57:10You get well, he and and Billy. Yeah.
- 57:12Stabbed. He goes like, you stabbed me
- 57:14pretty deep and. Yes, but then doesn't she hits
- 57:20him with the TV, right? Somebody push hits him with the
- 57:24TVI don't know am I? I it's been like he gets decayed
- 57:28since I've seen I can't. Remember, I can't remember how
- 57:29Stu dies exactly I think. I think he gets TV dropped on
- 57:32his head. Maybe it's a flashback like I
- 57:36did with. How does do die in Scream?
- 57:43She drops television on his head.
- 57:45Yeah, OK, so maybe he survived. Maybe he survived.
- 57:53Or maybe it's like, yes, like, yeah, the dream sequence, like,
- 57:56yeah. So Michelle Gala.
- 57:57Yeah. Anyway, I'll watch it to be
- 58:00honest. Maybe I should go back and watch
- 58:02some of the. I know that.
- 58:06I know what you did last summer was bad, but it was entertaining
- 58:10enough that I'd be like, sure, I'll watch a scream I guess as
- 58:14well now. Still tough movie, just so
- 58:18predictable but also made no sense as well.
- 58:22It's ridiculous. Yeah, I know.
- 58:25Stupid. Like why would he went through
- 58:30that? Why would he now go and do that
- 58:33like. That's because he, they, they.
- 58:36It was her whole. Jennifer Love Hewitt's whole
- 58:39thing. She was teaching at university
- 58:40was that your trauma makes you damaged.
- 58:43Yeah, he's damaged. He's damaged.
- 58:44What happened? But there's one other thing on
- 58:48here that I'm quite interested in, and that's the Star Trek
- 58:51reboot I get. Yes, a re reboot.
- 58:54So they're not doing 4 anymore. No, they are rebooting it all
- 59:01over again. So sure.
- 59:05OK, so the the JJ Abrams era has ended, the Kelvin timeline as
- 59:12it's known I believe, and they'll just do a new new Star
- 59:17Trek. I don't know, just stick with
- 59:18the TV shows. I'm I'm enjoying it, especially
- 59:23the Strange New worlds. I told you I tried that.
- 59:26I couldn't get into it. I should try again.
- 59:28I don't know, just the tone was funny.
- 59:31And they're actually, from what I'm hearing, they're actually
- 59:34that they're looking at probably extending that into like when
- 59:38that Kirk will become the captain, like they'll be just so
- 59:41it'll continue. Oh yeah, it's got.
- 59:43What's he from? Vampire Diaries is Kirk.
- 59:46Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I should watch that.
- 59:51Isn't that Wrap it up soon? Strange New Worlds?
- 59:54I think yeah, they're on season Season 3 is on at the moment.
- 59:59I think they're finished filming season 4.
- 1:00:02But then it can, from what I'm hearing, it can very easy.
- 1:00:05Just switch over to Kirk is now the captain now and and go just
- 1:00:11stick with the old this overarched story.
- 1:00:15But every episode is its own thing though, so you don't have
- 1:00:19to. Yeah.
- 1:00:21Back to the old days. Yeah.
- 1:00:23All right. Yeah, well.
- 1:00:27Because I did. We're doing a reboot.
- 1:00:29Didn't really kind of strange a while ago when they went, Oh
- 1:00:31yeah, we're making Star Trek 4. Hadn't spoken to any of the
- 1:00:35actors or anything or written a script or anything but but
- 1:00:39they're making it. Quentin Tarantino wrote a
- 1:00:41script, right? He wrote.
- 1:00:43Yeah, he wrote an R rated script that he was wanting to get made.
- 1:00:47You can imagine that. Sort of went nowhere.
- 1:00:53Like, I just, I, I, I would like to see that just because it'd be
- 1:01:01like, what the fuck is it? Like, what the fuck?
- 1:01:03Quentin Tarantino wrote Star Trek.
- 1:01:05OK, let's have that. Thanks.
- 1:01:07I'm just very curious what the fuck that would've been.
- 1:01:14They've replaced Star Trek origin film with Toby Heinous
- 1:01:17attached to direct, was announced as being on a 2022
- 1:01:21week slate. Origin film?
- 1:01:22Is anyone not familiar with the origins of Star Trek?
- 1:01:25Also, do we need origin of what specifically?
- 1:01:28Well, there's also a couple of other Star Trek shows, Yeah, in
- 1:01:33the mix. Like they're talking about like
- 1:01:35making Starfleet and yeah, even the whole who's even remember?
- 1:01:42Did you remember? Did you watch Star Trek
- 1:01:44Enterprise? Yeah, the one with Scott
- 1:01:47Bakular. Scott Bakular, They're talking
- 1:01:49about making another show with him in it.
- 1:01:52Oh yeah. To be like him, as like the
- 1:01:56President of Starfleet at the very he.
- 1:01:58Wasn't that the one where at the end it was all a simulation?
- 1:02:01No, that was. But that was OK.
- 1:02:04He was still alive. Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:06No, no, no, I know that. But yeah, that was, yeah, that
- 1:02:08ended with the Star Trek diction crossover.
- 1:02:11But it's all about him sort of being the start of Starfleet,
- 1:02:16and they're talking about making sort of that into a show like
- 1:02:20the actual start of Starfleet. That's the origin of Starfleet,
- 1:02:24not the origin of Star Trek. Yes.
- 1:02:27Because what the fuck does that mean?
- 1:02:30Yeah, OK. And some of the Star Trek shows
- 1:02:32have been so hit and miss. Like Picard.
- 1:02:36Season 1. I liked season 2 was so bad and
- 1:02:40then season 3 was so good. There's only one thing that
- 1:02:45saved Season 2. No, I know what you're going to
- 1:02:49say. I disagree, but it's fine.
- 1:02:53Her breasts look great. I yeah, but they were wrapped in
- 1:02:59a plot that just ruined them. I can't enjoy them.
- 1:03:04I can't enjoy them unless they're like the story, you
- 1:03:06know? But then they fixed that with
- 1:03:08three, which was just like the complete reunion. 3 was like on
- 1:03:12another fucking level. Like, yeah, I, I didn't watch it
- 1:03:15because like 2 was so bad. And then I just saw people
- 1:03:19saying no, no, no. And then I watched Fuck Man, it
- 1:03:21was they. Go to the museum, they steal the
- 1:03:24Enterprise Day. I mean it was like nostalgia
- 1:03:27Bate. Oh yeah, but it worked.
- 1:03:30But it was good. I mean, compared to 2, it's not
- 1:03:34fucking hard, I suppose. Two.
- 1:03:35Yeah, anyway. I don't know what 2 was on
- 1:03:38about. So bad it made no fucking sense
- 1:03:43and it had like 10 forward. She lives on at 10 fucking
- 1:03:48Forward Ave. Like no.
- 1:03:53No, I I don't remember 2. I think I've just purposely
- 1:03:57forgotten except for one part. I just.
- 1:03:59Remember that I've got a fucking notes document here about hang
- 1:04:02on Picard. I think I might have deleted my
- 1:04:09There we go. This is this is my notes right?
- 1:04:13I've written this was episode 556.
- 1:04:16Good morning Vietnam. These are my notes for the
- 1:04:18podcast. Yep, I continue to Picard season
- 1:04:222. I continue to hate watch it, and
- 1:04:24I have a lot of problems with it, but I don't want a nitpick.
- 1:04:30I had met Picard before, but apparently not in that timeline.
- 1:04:34OK, but then that means the first Divergent was not in 2024.
- 1:04:36It was earlier. OK, that's just lazy writing.
- 1:04:39Fine, I guess. Why is the bar on the Enterprise
- 1:04:44called 10 Forward? And oh, yeah, OK, this is me
- 1:04:46complaining about 10 Forward. Yeah.
- 1:04:54Yeah. That was yeah, OK.
- 1:04:57Yeah, I have honestly pushed that out of my head.
- 1:05:02Good, good. No, you haven't, except for one
- 1:05:07Part 1 particular image that's still there.
- 1:05:12This red dress. Yeah, but then you have to watch
- 1:05:19the movie. That's the show that's happening
- 1:05:21around the dress. That's the problem.
- 1:05:22Yeah. God, so awful.
- 1:05:26Oh and yeah, not that I don't want to.
- 1:05:29I don't want to fucking what's his name gets arrested like
- 1:05:33which yes Star Trek always did political commentary but like
- 1:05:37fucking come on. He gets deported to Mexico.
- 1:05:40He's like, what is? Happening.
- 1:05:43Well, he didn't have any papers. Of course he didn't.
- 1:05:45He's from the future. But like, come on, this is, it's
- 1:05:50just not. And that that happened early on.
- 1:05:53That wasn't even like a like, that's not even like what's
- 1:05:58happening now in the world that was.
- 1:06:00Yeah, I know. Years ago.
- 1:06:04It's a very bad show, but a bad season of Show I and his mum.
- 1:06:09Fucking Picard's bum committed suicide.
- 1:06:11Remember that? Fucking hell, stop it.
- 1:06:19They did and made a great season 3.
- 1:06:22They did. They did.
- 1:06:24OK, Before we head over to the after party, there's a teaser
- 1:06:30trailer for the Michael Jackson movie Out and I.
- 1:06:33Didn't know they were making one and.
- 1:06:36Oh, didn't you? I think we talked about this
- 1:06:37because it this is the movie that was originally, I believe,
- 1:06:43bookended by the court case. But then they.
- 1:06:49Took that out. Because they, they, they, they,
- 1:06:52they, they got a was a gag or a thing that said that they're not
- 1:06:55allowed to talk about the court case.
- 1:06:57Well, they're not like the, I think then the, the Michael
- 1:06:59Jackson says he's not allowed to talk about this individual at
- 1:07:01all. Like they're not allowed to have
- 1:07:05this person's not allowed to be involved in any of this stuff.
- 1:07:07So they had to reshoot the movie and remove the whole premise,
- 1:07:10which was it was kind of the court case, and then it showed.
- 1:07:13So now it's just going to be about him.
- 1:07:16Just so I think now it's just. It's just a straight I.
- 1:07:18Think it's just a straight movie about Michael Jackson in a in a
- 1:07:22way that it was not before. It was kind of more of a
- 1:07:24flashback. Y there's this court case going
- 1:07:27on. Let's go back and look at his
- 1:07:28history and blah blah, because they have to remove all that
- 1:07:31stuff, I believe. I don't think I'll be going to
- 1:07:34see this. I won't go and see it.
- 1:07:36I might watch it. It's got his nephew plays him
- 1:07:40and OK, it was quite off putting because he does a Michael
- 1:07:45Jackson voice, but that's what Michael Jackson's voice was like
- 1:07:47so. But his nephew wouldn't
- 1:07:50necessarily look like him because.
- 1:07:52He doesn't look exactly like him.
- 1:07:54He looks a bit like him. Has he had plastic surgery done
- 1:07:57then? Because.
- 1:07:58Like Michael? Jackson only looks that way
- 1:08:00because of plastic surgery. I think he does have some some
- 1:08:05adjustments for various parts. I don't I I guess I didn't look
- 1:08:09up what his nephew normally looks like.
- 1:08:11But yeah, they obviously have done some stuff.
- 1:08:13Yeah, yeah. Because, yeah, like Michael
- 1:08:17Jackson, the way he looked at the end of his career was
- 1:08:20nothing like he looked at beginning.
- 1:08:22And I think he got a different clue.
- 1:08:25He got addicted to plastic surgery.
- 1:08:28Artery. Yeah.
- 1:08:28Tear caught on fire. Yes, and he also had the
- 1:08:34Tiliger. So he says.
- 1:08:38Sure. Yeah, but allegedly, which is
- 1:08:40why he bleached his skin or they did.
- 1:08:42The awning there was. Yeah, the skin was not evenly.
- 1:08:47It wasn't even he hated it but but he went from there was there
- 1:08:51was no in between. Yeah, he went from from being
- 1:08:57Michael Jackson on Thriller to Michael Jackson on Bad.
- 1:09:02And then, yeah, revealed because yeah, that was a big reveal.
- 1:09:04Everyone was like, what? Like, yeah, there was no seeing
- 1:09:09the sort of patches or anything, which and I could understand if
- 1:09:14he didn't like seeing. Right, he hit it.
- 1:09:18Yeah. But yeah, yeah, no.
- 1:09:22I mean, look, and then also obviously there's the other
- 1:09:24stuff that was about that was problematic.
- 1:09:27So yeah. Which we still don't know what
- 1:09:31I'm just. Curious, from what I've seen of
- 1:09:33the trailer this seems like a very pro Michael Jackson story.
- 1:09:43Didn't start out. That doesn't mean it will be, it
- 1:09:45just means that the trailer makes it seem like it's the
- 1:09:47story of the King of Pop. So yeah, like how he grew up,
- 1:09:52became like from Jackson 5 to his solo to yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:00Let's comment on the article. I hope Annie ends up OK in this
- 1:10:05movie. Yeah.
- 1:10:12Funny, yeah, but Speaking of people accused of things,
- 1:10:22somebody has been accused of some stuff and I want to tell
- 1:10:26you about it in the after party, but could you explain to the
- 1:10:30witnesses what the after party is, for those who don't know?
- 1:10:32The after party's we're, we're going to continue to talk for a

- 1:10:55Or maybe just go to patreon.com/multiple Nogasm the
- 1:10:58one. Oh, you get a multiple

- 1:11:07Yep. But for $5 you get the after
- 1:11:09party and you get all the after parties.
- 1:11:11That's right. And you've joined you can join
- 1:11:13the community and have a chat with these two on there.
- 1:11:15You know, there's the other benefits and we might bring, we
- 1:11:19might bring back the Discord it's been.
- 1:11:22I've been talking yeah, I think Discord might be a way to go.
- 1:11:25I. Think it might be a good thing
- 1:11:26to do so we might get. Some articles in there.
- 1:11:29Might revisit. Because I did tell Connac New
- 1:11:31Legion she needs to send us more Dick news.
- 1:11:33It's been a while. Yes, yeah, but the Dick news is
- 1:11:36dry. Yeah, and dry Dick news is not
- 1:11:40good. No.
- 1:11:42You didn't want to go and dry. No, but no, I'm not going to
- 1:11:49make that joke. Patreon.com/multiple Orgasm
