Acts is an important book. It is the only spirit-inspired history that we have of the Christian church. It is far more than just what God once did. It is a description of how God works. It is a description of what His people are supposed to be, how we're to live, and how to carry out that work. Acts is a foundational book. Acts is a powerful book. It is a practical and applicable book for us today, because we are living in a repeat of the New Testament era in so many ways.
