- 0:00Speaker 1: I know we don't live in California. I get it.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It's 3.06 in the afternoon, by the way. Good afternoon.
- 0:05Speaker 1: It's 91 degrees here on Tiffany Boulevard in Boardman, where
- 0:10Speaker 1: we broadcast from on this Monday, June 8th already, with
- 0:13Speaker 1: 91 degrees. And I hope you're enjoying your life wherever
- 0:17Speaker 1: you are, whatever you might be doing. Top secret number
- 0:19Speaker 1: as always, 330-729-9977.
- 0:20Speaker 2: 330-729-9977.
- 0:20Speaker 3: 330-729-9977.
- 0:28Speaker 1: 99-77. As I said, I know this isn't California, but
- 0:32Speaker 1: is there anyone out there that doesn't think something stinks
- 0:35Speaker 1: here with the counting of the ballots in California and
- 0:40Speaker 1: just how their whole voting process goes? Does anybody have
- 0:45Speaker 1: confidence in it, feel secure in it that it isn't
- 0:49Speaker 1: rigged or fixed? And when you say to yourself, how
- 0:55Speaker 1: is this possibly taking so long? How does this take
- 0:59Speaker 1: that long to count the votes? And what is this
- 1:05Speaker 1: Dropbox stuff and you don't need to show an ID
- 1:08Speaker 1: and all of this stuff can come in and You
- 1:12Speaker 1: hear all of this stuff that you hear. It's mathematically
- 1:14Speaker 1: impossible for these ballots to come in, which overwhelmingly just
- 1:20Speaker 1: showed Democrat votes and nothing for the Republicans. Basically, people
- 1:26Speaker 1: are very suspicious. Very suspicious as far as what's going on,
- 1:31Speaker 1: as far as California is concerned. Now, I acknowledge we
- 1:35Speaker 1: don't live there, but I find it fascinating and interesting
- 1:38Speaker 1: as to what is materialized there. And Is it safe
- 1:43Speaker 1: to say you smell a rat? Is it safe to
- 1:45Speaker 1: say this just doesn't add up? It just doesn't mathematically
- 1:50Speaker 1: make sense? Something about this seems peculiar, suspicious. But yet,
- 1:57Speaker 1: if you question it, if you just question the oddity
- 2:02Speaker 1: of it, if you question the unusualness of it, the
- 2:05Speaker 1: oddity of it, the mathematical probabilities of it, somehow... Somehow
- 2:12Speaker 1: that makes you, what, a conspiracy theorist wrong because you
- 2:17Speaker 1: haven't done some major investigation right away to prove it? Well,
- 2:23Speaker 1: hopefully that's yet to come, and it should take place.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But I got to tell you, I don't have a
- 2:29Speaker 1: lick of confidence in what I see going on in
- 2:32Speaker 1: California that the system is actually trustworthy and honest. Don't
- 2:36Speaker 1: have a lick of it at all. Don't believe it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Don't buy it. Just not accepting it. Comments? We'll take them. 330-729-9977.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And so when you see Trump marching off, whatever that
- 2:59Speaker 1: Sunday show is, meet the press, I guess. And I
- 3:05Speaker 1: don't watch any of them. I watch the clips that
- 3:08Speaker 1: they provide, but I don't watch any of them. But
- 3:16Speaker 1: it certainly makes me as an American suspicious. It would
- 3:21Speaker 1: make me suspicious if it went the other way. See,
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's the difference between me and everyone else. If it
- 3:26Speaker 1: was going the other way, I would be equally as suspicious.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And I'll let you know that. I mean, it just
- 3:32Speaker 1: doesn't mathematically add up. Now, I don't live in California. Obviously,
- 3:36Speaker 1: most of you don't. So it's just, but when you
- 3:43Speaker 1: look at California, it's a disaster. When you look at
- 3:46Speaker 1: the taxes and when you look at just the mayhem,
- 3:51Speaker 1: when you say to yourself, okay, well, this whole system,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you're paying so much money and look at the homeless
- 4:04Speaker 1: population and look at the amount of money spent to
- 4:07Speaker 1: try to solve homelessness. And yet it runs amok. The fraud,
- 4:12Speaker 1: the waste, the abuse. They talk about the train to nowhere.
- 4:19Speaker 1: They talk about just all of this stuff that huge
- 4:22Speaker 1: amounts of tax dollars are spent on with zero results.
- 4:27Speaker 1: So there must be just so much corruption. It must
- 4:29Speaker 1: be so frustrating to live in California and to pay
- 4:32Speaker 1: all those taxes. And you look at the homeless problem.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You look at all the money being spent. You look
- 4:40Speaker 1: at how the parks are overtaken, the streets are overtaken.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You look at the lawlessness. You say to yourself, well,
- 4:46Speaker 1: shouldn't that reservoir have had water in it to help
- 4:48Speaker 1: put the fires out of these homes? You look at
- 4:52Speaker 1: the incompetence of it, of what that Karen Bass. And
- 4:58Speaker 1: you say to yourself, oh, okay. So people are going
- 5:03Speaker 1: to vote for more of that? It's just hard, absolutely
- 5:08Speaker 1: hard to imagine. And all of a sudden, it's like, well,
- 5:13Speaker 1: we know on election night, these people certainly had a
- 5:17Speaker 1: commanding presence, these people being the Republicans. But all of
- 5:20Speaker 1: a sudden, now, what a week or whatever later, it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: all changed. Because of the mail-in ballots or the drop
- 5:28Speaker 1: boxes and this kind of stuff. I just, I don't
- 5:32Speaker 1: have any faith in it at all. I mean, if
- 5:34Speaker 1: I lived in California, I would have absolutely no faith
- 5:38Speaker 1: in this whatsoever. In this entire process. Either or the
- 5:46Speaker 1: people are absolutely that stupid. So now the latest Los
- 5:52Speaker 1: Angeles City Council member that was in third place is
- 5:56Speaker 1: overtaken Spencer Pratt. And the latest Associated Press vote counts.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So you can see what you can see what's going
- 6:07Speaker 1: on there. That doesn't seem like it's good. and Karen Bass,
- 6:13Speaker 1: a Democrat, has already advanced to a runoff as she
- 6:16Speaker 1: seeks a second term. Now, she's just been god-awful. I mean,
- 6:19Speaker 1: she's absolutely terrible, and people would vote for her for
- 6:26Speaker 1: a second term based on what? Certainly not on performance.
- 6:30Speaker 1: The performance is just, it's god-awful. This whole process that
- 6:36Speaker 1: they have out there in Los Angeles is just bizarre. Okay,
- 6:42Speaker 1: so you vote for the three and then the top
- 6:45Speaker 1: two run off against each other. I mean, even if
- 6:48Speaker 1: they're both Democrats, this is crazy. How they do an
- 6:51Speaker 1: election in California is just the strangest damn thing to
- 6:55Speaker 1: begin with. Los Angeles County continues to count ballots postmarked
- 7:00Speaker 1: on or before Election Day and received by June 9th,
- 7:04Speaker 1: drawing the attention of Republican National Committee members. County officials
- 7:07Speaker 1: must complete final official results by July 2nd and get
- 7:13Speaker 1: certified July 10th. California vote count often extends beyond Election
- 7:18Speaker 1: Day because every active registered voter... Let me repeat this.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Every active registered voter receives a mail ballot. Ballots postmarked
- 7:30Speaker 1: by Election Day may arrive up to seven days later,
- 7:32Speaker 1: and election workers must verify signatures... and process late arriving ballots.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So it ended on June 2nd and California is still
- 7:44Speaker 1: counting ballots. It's now June 8th. The state's election system
- 7:51Speaker 1: is a complete joke. The RNC is tracking every hour
- 7:56Speaker 1: it takes California to finish the counts. Pratt and other
- 8:00Speaker 1: Republicans have decried the ongoing ballot count in a race.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Election officials and voting experts have said California's extended count
- 8:07Speaker 1: is largely driven by state mail ballot rolls. So they
- 8:11Speaker 1: mail a ballot out to everybody. Signature verification and the
- 8:15Speaker 1: processing of late arriving ballots. Who do you know who's
- 8:19Speaker 1: voting that mail ballot? If you mail everybody a ballot.
- 8:23Speaker 1: How do you know that they didn't die? How do
- 8:25Speaker 1: you know they didn't move? How do you know who's
- 8:27Speaker 1: voting it? It's just bizarre. It's really strange. I mean,
- 8:39Speaker 1: it certainly makes you say, I don't live there, but
- 8:43Speaker 1: it sure seems crooked to me. The whole process of
- 8:47Speaker 1: how they do their elections ends. It's just, it stinks
- 8:52Speaker 1: to high heaven. You're on the air.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Hey, Ron!
- 8:57Speaker 4: Guess what?
- 8:58Speaker 1: It's Dick from Dayton, the official sports prognosticator of the program.
- 9:01Speaker 5: No, no, I went from sports to... We're having this
- 9:06Speaker 5: 250th anniversary, and a couple of my friends came, and
- 9:10Speaker 5: we played at one of the legions for about four hours.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I had to get home late. We were just mixing
- 9:17Speaker 5: up the bluegrass and the country and just singing.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Oh, it was good.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So it's not Dick from Dayton, his sports prognosticator. It's
- 9:25Speaker 1: Dick from Dayton, the 250th American anniversary group.
- 9:33Speaker 5: I'll tell you something, Ron, the best people. I mean,
- 9:36Speaker 5: people would serve. I met a lot of people.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Good.
- 9:39Speaker 5: They just loved it. I just wish that the guys
- 9:43Speaker 5: want to come up there to Youngstown and play for
- 9:47Speaker 5: the group up there. You think we'd be a hit?
- 9:51Speaker 6: No.
- 9:52Speaker 5: You think?
- 9:52Speaker 1: I don't think so. No, I don't think so.
- 9:54Speaker 5: Well, you'd listen, wouldn't you?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Oh, come on.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Well, everybody's welcome. Tell them.
- 10:04Speaker 1: All right. Dick from Dayton, thank you. You're on the air.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Good afternoon, Ron. How are you?
- 10:08Speaker 1: I am suspicious. Thank you.
- 10:11Speaker 4: What we need in this country is nationwide election laws.
- 10:17Speaker 4: which we don't have.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
- 10:19Speaker 4: If you look at the Constitution, it has very little,
- 10:22Speaker 4: it leaves it up to the states, which should be changed.
- 10:26Speaker 4: It's about time.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You know, like a federal standard statewide.
- 10:32Speaker 4: But they don't have it. According to the Constitution, it's
- 10:35Speaker 4: not there.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Right. You make a great point, because I think we
- 10:39Speaker 1: do it really well in Ohio, don't you?
- 10:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I do. As far as I'm concerned, especially for
- 10:47Speaker 4: the presidency, or the presidential thing that's coming up in
- 10:49Speaker 4: a couple years, we need regional primaries. The fact that
- 10:56Speaker 4: we campaigned for president for two years is obscene. And
- 11:03Speaker 4: you guys in the media, you guys are making money
- 11:05Speaker 4: hand over fist in all this stuff.
- 11:07Speaker 1: No, you are 100% right. In other words, the campaign
- 11:09Speaker 1: season is way too long. Way too long.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Absolutely, way too long. Oh, another thing, one of the
- 11:17Speaker 4: reasons I called is what's going to happen at the
- 11:19Speaker 4: White House on Sunday.
- 11:20Speaker 1: What's that?
- 11:22Speaker 4: That, what's that, cage... Cage boxing that's on the South
- 11:28Speaker 4: Lawn of the White House. You've heard of what's happening
- 11:31Speaker 4: with that? He's having a cage boxing match.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I have heard that, and then I heard..
- 11:35Speaker 4: I'm sorry, that's beneath the dignity of the White House.
- 11:40Speaker 4: I'm sorry, that's not right for him to do that.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I must confess the following. I am in total agreement
- 11:45Speaker 1: with this gentleman. I said it the other day, and
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm glad to hear you say it. And you and
- 11:51Speaker 1: I have been on polar opposites for a long period
- 11:53Speaker 1: of time, but the reality is you and I can
- 11:55Speaker 1: agree on something. And I think that the whole cage-fighting thing,
- 12:00Speaker 1: the White House grounds should be somewhat treated as sacred
- 12:04Speaker 1: with some degree of respect.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Absolutely, Ron. Absolutely.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And I don't think that this is appropriate at all.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And I'm going to be fair here. I don't think
- 12:14Speaker 1: when they had the big transgender party that was appropriate. Listen,
- 12:18Speaker 1: it's the White House grounds. This kind of stuff should
- 12:20Speaker 1: be taking place there. Once again, like I said last week,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm okay with the president pardoning the turkey on Thanksgiving.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm okay for little kids there on the Easter egg hunt.
- 12:31Speaker 1: But when you get into the transgender stuff, when you
- 12:34Speaker 1: get into the– cage matches and this kind of stuff.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I am in total agreement with this caller. I think
- 12:40Speaker 1: it disrespects that sacred ground.
- 12:43Speaker 4: I'm glad you said that, Ron, because I definitely believe that.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Let me go one.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Step further with you. And so this will be your
- 12:52Speaker 1: lucky day. Because I also agree with the court system
- 12:55Speaker 1: that said, take Trump's name off the Kennedy Center.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Absolutely, yes, I do. It was in honor of John Kennedy. Correct.
- 13:07Speaker 4: And to quote, what's his name, the vice president under
- 13:14Speaker 4: Lloyd Benson. I knew John Kennedy. John Kennedy was a
- 13:17Speaker 4: friend of mine. And, Mr. President, you're no John Kennedy.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Well, I get tired. I don't know if you were
- 13:25Speaker 1: listening the other day, Gene, Gene. The boss lady called,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and her and I were having a conversation. And I
- 13:30Speaker 1: want to share it with you. Go ahead. Because she
- 13:32Speaker 1: reached the same conclusion as I did. And I'm going
- 13:35Speaker 1: to get into, and I'm going to pick your brain
- 13:37Speaker 1: here momentarily. But her and I agreed, like, I'm all
- 13:40Speaker 1: for transparency. I love the cabinet meetings so that I
- 13:43Speaker 1: can watch them. But it frustrates me, the arse-kissing that
- 13:47Speaker 1: I see going on at these cabinet meetings from these
- 13:50Speaker 1: cabinet secretaries. Oh, Mr. President, you're the greatest on the planet,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and if it wasn't for you. I get a little
- 13:56Speaker 1: tired of that on the cabinet meetings and watching that
- 13:58Speaker 1: take place. I want the cabinet meetings... to be aired,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but can we skip over that stuff? Can we skip
- 14:04Speaker 1: over Trump or these people trying to put his name
- 14:08Speaker 1: on everything?
- 14:09Speaker 4: Oh, and how about this arch that he wants to
- 14:13Speaker 4: build in Washington? You know, there's a rule in Washington
- 14:18Speaker 4: that nothing can be larger than the Washington Monument. Well,
- 14:22Speaker 4: this arch is going to be larger than the monument.
- 14:25Speaker 4: And that's not right either.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Do we need an arch?
- 14:28Speaker 5: No.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Listen, I agree with some of this stuff, and I
- 14:31Speaker 1: voted for Trump. Now, let me ask you, what do
- 14:35Speaker 1: you make of the situation going on with the Iran
- 14:39Speaker 1: situation right now? What are your thoughts?
- 14:41Speaker 4: I'm afraid that we've gotten ourselves into another Vietnam. And
- 14:47Speaker 4: I also said, and you've heard me say this before,
- 14:50Speaker 4: if this war goes on beyond Labor Day... you will
- 14:54Speaker 4: see a big, giant blue wave in November.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Well, I'm afraid that if this goes on through July,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I think what you're going to see is a giant
- 15:05Speaker 1: green wave because I think you're going to see oil
- 15:08Speaker 1: prices spike and gasoline prices spike as we hit what
- 15:12Speaker 1: they call tank bottom as far as our oil supply
- 15:15Speaker 1: is concerned. So I think that if this drags on
- 15:19Speaker 1: much longer, you're going to see some serious increases with oil, gasoline,
- 15:24Speaker 1: and ultimately inflation. And usually they say it's the economy, stupid. Now,
- 15:31Speaker 1: would I vote for a Democrat? Absolutely not. But they
- 15:34Speaker 1: say most people will vote on the economy and say, well,
- 15:37Speaker 1: things aren't affordable. Things aren't going in the right direction.
- 15:40Speaker 1: They don't approve it. Stand by for a minute, Gene.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Just stand by. We'll come back to it. Spend some
- 15:45Speaker 1: time with Gene in a minute. And I've got more
- 15:47Speaker 1: to talk to him about. And I'll be right back
- 15:49Speaker 1: with him after this.
- 15:51Speaker 2: All right, I want to go back to Gene.
- 15:58Speaker 1: But here's the rub, Gene. A couple of things. Isn't
- 16:01Speaker 1: it interesting, folks, that Gene and I have gone around
- 16:05Speaker 1: for years on this very radio station, but we can
- 16:09Speaker 1: agree on a Kennedy Center thing. We can agree that
- 16:11Speaker 1: it's sacred ground. And that annoys me about Trump. And
- 16:16Speaker 1: you're here to say if the war drags on, that
- 16:20Speaker 1: you predict there will be a blue wave in November
- 16:23Speaker 1: because people will vote based on the war and the economy.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 16:27Speaker 3: Yes, I do.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Mr. Trump is going to Madison Square Garden to see
- 16:33Speaker 4: the basketball game?
- 16:34Speaker 5: Yes.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Why the hell can't he stay home once in a while?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Did you see, there's a lot of people who are
- 16:39Speaker 1: opposed to it, and the reality why they're opposed to
- 16:42Speaker 1: it is because he is going to tie up traffic
- 16:45Speaker 1: like crazy. They're telling people get there a couple hours
- 16:48Speaker 1: before the game because of the president coming.
- 16:51Speaker 4: It creates.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Just a huge mess for all the sports fans.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Look at what he did at the Super Bowl. That
- 16:59Speaker 4: was the same thing. And he didn't even stay for
- 17:02Speaker 4: the whole game.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, so I get what you're saying. But
- 17:07Speaker 1: how do you assess the Trump presidency at this point?
- 17:10Speaker 4: He's a joke. He's nothing but an egomaniac, Ron. It's
- 17:15Speaker 4: all about him. He doesn't care about the people. And
- 17:20Speaker 4: by the way, one thing I'm really tired of hearing
- 17:23Speaker 4: is this thing about Trump derangement syndrome. Just because I
- 17:28Speaker 4: disagree with the president doesn't make me crazy. I'm sorry.
- 17:34Speaker 4: I'm not crazy. I'm as intelligent as the next guy.
- 17:37Speaker 4: And you and I have been friends for a long time.
- 17:40Speaker 4: But we're not crazy, those of us that disagree with him.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And you just think he's an egomaniac.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Of course he is. He's an absolute egomaniac. It's all
- 17:50Speaker 4: about him. He's the biggest egomaniac that's ever been elected president.
- 17:58Speaker 4: You know, he's his star on, you know, when he
- 18:03Speaker 4: did The Apprentice. Remember that show?
- 18:06Speaker 5: Yes.
- 18:07Speaker 4: You're fired.
- 18:08Speaker 5: It's all about him.
- 18:11Speaker 4: It's all about him.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So you don't like anything he's done so far?
- 18:16Speaker 4: No, I didn't say that. I didn't say that. And
- 18:18Speaker 4: by the way, I am a liberal, too. And I'm
- 18:21Speaker 4: proud to say that I'm a liberal. I'm a liberal
- 18:25Speaker 4: in the tradition of Hubert Humphrey.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:31Speaker 4: For those of you that remember Senator Humphrey. Oh, and
- 18:33Speaker 4: by the way, all you people on Medicare, you can
- 18:38Speaker 4: thank Hubert Humphrey for that. And he was a liberal.
- 18:42Speaker 4: He's the one that gave you Medicare, if you go
- 18:45Speaker 4: back and look at it. He campaigned for it for
- 18:47Speaker 4: 19 years before it was passed in 1965. So before
- 18:54Speaker 4: you bash liberals, the liberals have done a lot of
- 18:57Speaker 4: good for this.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Country, too.
- 19:01Speaker 1: All right, Gene. Isn't it something? Well, first of all,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I don't.
- 19:09Speaker 4: Disagree with everything he's done. I'm glad he's closed the border, yes.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I think that was good. But the man is an egomaniac,
- 19:19Speaker 4: and I think that's what's getting in the way. I
- 19:21Speaker 4: think he bit off more than he can chew with
- 19:24Speaker 4: this war, and now he doesn't know what to do.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Thank you, Gene.
- 19:27Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKVN. And back to it, News Radio
- 19:31Speaker 2: 570 WKVN. Here's an example of what Ted the Conservative
- 19:35Speaker 2: would call a mega cult. And this is why I say,
- 19:39Speaker 2: when it comes to the program here, this is never
- 19:42Speaker 2: going to be a cheerleading squad. I will never fall
- 19:47Speaker 2: into Republicans can do no wrong and Democrats can..
- 19:50Speaker 1: Do no right. And we can't criticize anything that Trump
- 19:53Speaker 1: does that the Republicans do. I don't fall into that.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I will never fall into that. I've never understood that.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I watched that with the Democrats when everybody said everything
- 20:03Speaker 1: was so they totally were telling you everything was great
- 20:06Speaker 1: with Biden. They failed to realistically look at their own candidate,
- 20:09Speaker 1: the pluses and the minuses. I don't know any candidates.
- 20:13Speaker 1: As I said to you over the years, I've been
- 20:15Speaker 1: disappointed by most presidents, Republicans and Democrats. As a matter
- 20:19Speaker 1: of fact, most politicians have disappointed me over the years.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Republicans and Democrats have been a disappointment to me. Now,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I voted for Trump three times. In general, I'm pleased
- 20:31Speaker 1: with what he's done. But that doesn't mean I have
- 20:33Speaker 1: to agree with everything he does, nor do I. So
- 20:37Speaker 1: people like you, Jim, that say, could you give it
- 20:39Speaker 1: a break? The same stuff every day is getting old.
- 20:42Speaker 1: We all know you disagree with some of the stuff
- 20:44Speaker 1: he's doing and you spend a lot of time with
- 20:47Speaker 1: your liberal buddies. Like liberals shouldn't have a thought or opinion.
- 20:51Speaker 1: They're Americans too, Jim. And they have a right to
- 20:54Speaker 1: disagree with your opinion. I hope Sherrod Brown gets elected
- 20:58Speaker 1: so you have something else to bitch about. Maybe Amy too. See,
- 21:01Speaker 1: here's a guy that says, how dare you? criticize anything
- 21:06Speaker 1: about donald trump well i will criticize stuff about trump
- 21:11Speaker 1: and frankly i agree with what gene had to say
- 21:13Speaker 1: god forbid he's a liberal but i agree it bothered
- 21:16Speaker 1: me when his name was put on the kennedy center
- 21:18Speaker 1: and i think it's wrong i think that the fighting
- 21:24Speaker 1: thing at the white house grounds is disrespectful to those
- 21:27Speaker 1: grounds And I don't disagree with him that I think
- 21:30Speaker 1: Trump is an egomaniac and I get upset with everyone
- 21:33Speaker 1: at these meetings just kissing his arse all the time.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And it seems he always wants to make everything about himself.
- 21:40Speaker 1: That is, I think, in my world, fair criticism. If
- 21:43Speaker 1: you can't take it, Jim, and you want to be
- 21:45Speaker 1: a cheerleader, feel free to be so. But that isn't
- 21:48Speaker 1: what we'll ever do around here for any Democrats or Republicans. Hey, Ron,
- 21:59Speaker 1: working right now, so I can't call. But what JFK
- 22:02Speaker 1: and Clinton did in the White House, Trump can't deface
- 22:06Speaker 1: any more than that. So two wrongs, I say to you, Rick,
- 22:10Speaker 1: don't make a right. So you're saying, well, because of
- 22:14Speaker 1: what JFK did with women and what Clinton did with women,
- 22:18Speaker 1: means it's okay to have some fighting competition on the
- 22:23Speaker 1: White House grounds. I don't think any of those things
- 22:26Speaker 1: were right. So two wrongs don't make a right. This
- 22:30Speaker 1: is the White House. It is somewhat sacred ground to
- 22:34Speaker 1: our country, and it should be. Not some place where
- 22:37Speaker 1: you're going to hold events. I don't care, once again,
- 22:39Speaker 1: if it was Biden with this transgender thing, which I
- 22:42Speaker 1: thought was off the charts and wrong. Just like I
- 22:45Speaker 1: think it's wrong to have this fight thing that Trump
- 22:48Speaker 1: wants to do. Period. Onward. You're on the air.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Ron?
- 22:59Speaker 4: Yes?
- 23:00Speaker 3: Oh, my God. You know, I waited on hold for
- 23:04Speaker 3: like an hour and a half on Friday.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry. I try to move along as quick
- 23:10Speaker 1: as I can. Speaking of which, I was sent a picture.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I was sent a picture. Wait a second here. Let's see.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I think it was from a guy named Mark. I've
- 23:21Speaker 1: got to find it here. It's in my mail somewhere.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Of the boss lady..
- 23:26Speaker 3: I sent it, too, yes, with Brian Massey.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yes, did you send that? Let me see. Maybe that
- 23:32Speaker 1: was you.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I sent it, but Mark was in the picture. But
- 23:36Speaker 3: he might have sent it, too. Who knows? He might have.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Let me see, folks. I got it right here. I
- 23:43Speaker 1: got to find this thing. It's the boss lady. I
- 23:48Speaker 1: thought it was, let's, oh, here it is right here.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Here it is. You are collecting signatures. How did it
- 23:57Speaker 1: go out at the Four Seasons?
- 23:59Speaker 3: It went great. It went really good. And Massey came
- 24:03Speaker 3: and got to talk to a lot of people. He
- 24:04Speaker 3: was there for an hour or so. It might have
- 24:06Speaker 3: been closer to an hour and a half, two hours.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I don't know. We spent a lot of time talking
- 24:09Speaker 3: to him. He was great. He wanted to. Stop in,
- 24:13Speaker 3: talk to us, and did we have any questions? You know,
- 24:17Speaker 3: he's just real appreciative of everything and explained kind of
- 24:20Speaker 3: where we were and why. You know, it's going to
- 24:24Speaker 3: take a little bit.
- 24:25Speaker 1: How did you get him to show up?
- 24:28Speaker 3: He saw our information. When you're a circulator, you don't
- 24:35Speaker 3: have to, but you should. You know, we circulate where
- 24:37Speaker 3: we're going to be. And we do a flyer, and
- 24:40Speaker 3: we put it out on all the other social media
- 24:41Speaker 3: pages and stuff.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And so he came out.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Remember, we hosted him before, so we had met him
- 24:49Speaker 3: when we hosted him at that Black Feather Ranch.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 24:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 3: So we had met him prior.
- 24:56Speaker 1: So how did you do signature-wise?
- 24:59Speaker 3: We got about 70, and I'll tell you, people were
- 25:01Speaker 3: fired up. They were fired up about all the fraud.
- 25:08Speaker 3: And I think it's really shaking people up to rise
- 25:12Speaker 3: up to see that we don't have a money problem.
- 25:17Speaker 3: All these programs that they keep creating, and then there's
- 25:25Speaker 3: no oversight. And we've given them so much money, Ron,
- 25:29Speaker 3: so much money out of our income tax, our sales.
- 25:33Speaker 3: All these things have provided them the luxury, right? of
- 25:36Speaker 3: not having to pay attention. When you think about that,
- 25:40Speaker 3: and you think about the fact that they're going to
- 25:42Speaker 3: try to say, well, we don't have the money to
- 25:43Speaker 3: fund schools, it's laughable. And people are waking up.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I give, like I say, Denise credit, I give you credit,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and Mark credit here, and Brian Massey credits. People would
- 25:54Speaker 1: volunteer their times on days off when you could be
- 25:57Speaker 1: doing whatever you want to do to enjoy life, and
- 25:59Speaker 1: they're out collecting signatures. Because they believe in something so much.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Those are special people. I'm telling all of you, they're
- 26:07Speaker 1: special people that are actively involved in doing much more
- 26:11Speaker 1: than any of the rest of us. do on a
- 26:14Speaker 1: regular basis to try to make change. I mean, I
- 26:16Speaker 1: really find it. I really find it admirable. Did you, did,
- 26:19Speaker 1: was JJ selling paintings or did he leave?
- 26:22Speaker 3: No, I was so disappointed. Um, we walked, walked around
- 26:26Speaker 3: to find them. And then Mark actually set up that
- 26:29Speaker 3: we could have our table there. He asked the lady,
- 26:31Speaker 3: she knew who he was and said, no, he didn't
- 26:33Speaker 3: come this week. So we were looking for JJ. We wanted,
- 26:37Speaker 3: I wanted to get some pictures. I wanted to buy
- 26:39Speaker 3: some for my niece and nephew, and I didn't find them.
- 26:42Speaker 3: So maybe we'll see them next time around.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I'm very disappointed. I thought J.J. the Liberal. What a
- 26:49Speaker 1: great flea market it would be. There's the boss lady
- 26:52Speaker 1: and J.J. the Liberal. The collision of two.
- 26:55Speaker 3: We had a lot of people that listened to the
- 26:57Speaker 3: show come up. We had five or six people that
- 27:00Speaker 3: were like, oh, okay, yeah, we hear you on the radio.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Boss Lady should take, from my email, Boss Lady should
- 27:08Speaker 1: take the list of 20% Mahoning County residents that already
- 27:12Speaker 1: don't pay property taxes and market it to them as
- 27:16Speaker 1: a renewal of no property tax. I guess. Okay. So,
- 27:21Speaker 1: you know, there you go.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I don't even know what that means.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm not sure I know what that means either. Alex
- 27:26Speaker 1: is going to have to call and explain that. I
- 27:28Speaker 1: don't know what that means.
- 27:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:31Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and Alex always makes sense, so I'm confused, Alex.
- 27:36Speaker 3: You've got to call in.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It's like the ramblings of a madman all of a sudden,
- 27:40Speaker 1: isn't it?
- 27:42Speaker 3: I don't want to go up against Alex. He's smart.
- 27:44Speaker 3: He's a tough cookie. I like Alex. I'm not fighting
- 27:47Speaker 3: with you, Alex.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:49Speaker 3: I'm not fighting with him. I'm tired.
- 27:51Speaker 1: So you collected 70 signatures.
- 27:55Speaker 3: We had a lot of good exposure. We had a
- 27:57Speaker 3: guy who came up who... And he came up with
- 28:01Speaker 3: all the reasons why, you know, he came hard. And
- 28:06Speaker 3: Mark turned him around and he signed.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Really?
- 28:09Speaker 1: He's a renter.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a renter. And he said, how the hell
- 28:12Speaker 3: is this going to benefit me? You know, me there
- 28:14Speaker 3: ain't going to lower my... And Mark turned him around,
- 28:17Speaker 3: you know, to see. So, and again, these people are,
- 28:20Speaker 3: they're mad. I mean, when you look at all this fraud,
- 28:22Speaker 3: I heard Dave Thomas on the other day and he
- 28:26Speaker 3: All the stuff that they're finding, and then that's what
- 28:29Speaker 3: really I wanted to call in on Friday about. When
- 28:32Speaker 3: he had talked about, and I'm glad he did, he
- 28:34Speaker 3: talked about that hearing. I don't know if you watched it.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I almost died on my couch.
- 28:40Speaker 1: When I listened to those liberals.
- 28:43Speaker 3: I watched the hour and a half. I went back
- 28:45Speaker 3: and I watched it, and I wanted to come out
- 28:48Speaker 3: of my skin. If I could have, like, I was
- 28:50Speaker 3: so enraged, and he was exactly right. I mean, they
- 28:54Speaker 3: were like, what about the people? Like, what do you
- 28:58Speaker 3: mean they're stealing billions from us? I mean, it was insane.
- 29:02Speaker 3: You got to watch it. Actually, if you don't want
- 29:05Speaker 3: to have a stroke today, don't watch it. Because I
- 29:08Speaker 3: was borderline. My head was going to pop.
- 29:12Speaker 1: So they're justifying the fraud and all this kind of stuff?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yeah, they're more worried about all the people and the
- 29:18Speaker 3: benefits and all, you know. And it's a joke. And then...
- 29:23Speaker 3: You know, when we looked at it, did you see how,
- 29:25Speaker 3: I don't, it was crazy. I think it was like
- 29:28Speaker 3: 90 businesses were located in one apartment complex. And it's
- 29:31Speaker 3: like a third grader could have figured that out with
- 29:35Speaker 3: like very low um, analytical skills could have known that
- 29:39Speaker 3: that would have been an anomaly.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 29:41Speaker 3: But like nobody caught it. And then when the investigator
- 29:44Speaker 3: went into the building, they found that the guy was
- 29:47Speaker 3: a state, um, With all the 90 fraudulent businesses or
- 29:53Speaker 3: whatever there were, all Somalians, and he's Somalian. And we
- 29:57Speaker 3: elected him, and he lives in the building with them. Now,
- 29:59Speaker 3: don't tell me that that's not suspicious.
- 30:04Speaker 1: He lives in the building.
- 30:06Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 30:07Speaker 1: That's the replacement theory that you're seeing firsthand when they
- 30:11Speaker 1: bring all these people in that aren't citizens. They bring
- 30:15Speaker 1: them all in. Next thing you know, they're voting for
- 30:18Speaker 1: people within their own community to run the organization. They're
- 30:21Speaker 1: replacing you and your citizenship. Would you not agree? I mean,
- 30:24Speaker 1: it is a replacement theory.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Well, what they do is they dilute your vote. So
- 30:28Speaker 3: for every illegal, it's diluting your vote. It's diluting your say.
- 30:31Speaker 3: It's the census, and everything is driven off of.
- 30:34Speaker 5: This, right?
- 30:34Speaker 3: So... You know, the Electoral College, all of this is
- 30:40Speaker 3: off of the census and they're not differentiating illegals versus legals.
- 30:46Speaker 3: And when they vote illegally and you don't have good
- 30:49Speaker 3: election laws, like Ohio does pretty darn good. But your
- 30:53Speaker 3: last caller who said it needs to be nationwide, I agree.
- 30:55Speaker 3: You need to take it off the states because you're
- 30:58Speaker 3: never going to. It needs to be at a national level.
- 31:02Speaker 3: how elections are done with integrity. It needs to be
- 31:06Speaker 3: at a national level because there's just too much, there's
- 31:10Speaker 3: too much, you know, difference between state to state. And
- 31:13Speaker 3: then in California, they still don't know one. I mean,
- 31:15Speaker 3: you're joking right now.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's loaded with fraud. You know,
- 31:22Speaker 1: it's mathematically impossible. What you see happening mathematically impossible.
- 31:27Speaker 3: It's impossible. It's impossible. What do you think about all
- 31:30Speaker 3: this fraud that they're coming up with? I mean, are
- 31:33Speaker 3: you not, like, saying, like, this thing that we're all saying? Like,
- 31:38Speaker 3: what do you mean you can't afford to pay for these?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Where's the money? We have provided you with so much
- 31:45Speaker 3: money that you've not had to pay attention to a
- 31:48Speaker 3: damn thing.
- 31:49Speaker 1: What do I say? I say, listen, when it comes
- 31:51Speaker 1: to this fraud, I don't give a damn if you're
- 31:53Speaker 1: a Democrat or Republican. You look at Mike DeWine and
- 31:55Speaker 1: the Republicans in the state of Ohio. How did they
- 31:59Speaker 1: let this happen under their watch? And I hold Mike
- 32:01Speaker 1: DeWine accountable for that. for this the fact that that
- 32:04Speaker 1: none of this came out till nick shirley brought it
- 32:07Speaker 1: out in minnesota then it started to come out here
- 32:09Speaker 1: in ohio so really it's a nick shirley effect as
- 32:13Speaker 1: far as i'm concerned and i hold all of the
- 32:15Speaker 1: office holders that weren't checking this stuff out and doing
- 32:18Speaker 1: their job i think they are as responsible as tampon
- 32:21Speaker 1: tim is in my opinion Agreed.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Now, you can't hold like a Tex Fischer responsible.
- 32:26Speaker 1: He's not going to be responsible. Some of these.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Pity people on Facebook are like, oh, well, it's because
- 32:31Speaker 3: the Republicans have been running. No, that's not true. Tex
- 32:35Speaker 3: Fischer doesn't have access to this. He's not going to
- 32:37Speaker 3: be looking at this. The people in charge who are
- 32:39Speaker 3: elected to look at this have all failed us. That's
- 32:42Speaker 3: not because Tex Fischer, he has nothing to do with that.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Right, exactly right. I don't hold any of the state
- 32:47Speaker 1: reps responsible for it. I hold the DeWine administration responsible
- 32:53Speaker 1: for it, just as I do Tampon Tim. They are
- 32:57Speaker 1: in charge, and it went on under their watch, and
- 33:00Speaker 1: the buck stops there as far as I'm concerned. That's
- 33:02Speaker 1: where I'm at. So, folks, I'm going to sell the
- 33:06Speaker 1: picture of the boss lady and Mark and Brian Massey,
- 33:10Speaker 1: probably print it on T-shirts and start selling them for you.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Oh, my God. He's a great guy, though. Is he?
- 33:16Speaker 3: He's a great guy.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Now, what did people say when they came up to you?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Did they say, listen, lady, leave me alone? No, no, no, no.
- 33:28Speaker 3: They were all great, but there were some that came
- 33:30Speaker 3: up and said, hey, we listen to the Ron Verve show.
- 33:33Speaker 3: We hear you talking on there, you know, and, you know,
- 33:37Speaker 3: they were great. They came to sign. Yeah, some people
- 33:41Speaker 3: stumbled upon us, you know, didn't even know we were
- 33:44Speaker 3: going to be there.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Well, maybe you guys should also do some woodwork in
- 33:48Speaker 1: the garage and sell trinkets while you're there getting signatures
- 33:51Speaker 1: and make a couple of bucks. Just an idea. I mean,
- 33:54Speaker 1: you're at the flea market anyway. Grow some vegetables.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Hey, if JJ wants to collect signatures with us, he can.
- 34:00Speaker 3: He can do his paintings while we can sell his
- 34:02Speaker 3: paintings and he can collect.
- 34:04Speaker 1: He could do portraits right there like they do at
- 34:06Speaker 1: Cedar Point.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 34:08Speaker 1: All right. Thank you, boss lady, for all you do.
- 34:11Speaker 1: She does do a lot, and I'm telling you right now,
- 34:14Speaker 1: to be out there and to do all of that
- 34:15Speaker 1: and volunteer your time. What Denise and the boss lady
- 34:18Speaker 1: and these people are getting signatures, I salute each and
- 34:20Speaker 1: every one of them. I mean, I think it's very admirable.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 34:25Speaker 5: Hello, Ron.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Why, it's my favorite mayor, George McKelvey.
- 34:30Speaker 6: I salute the boss lady also. I wouldn't want to
- 34:35Speaker 6: do anything to get her upset.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Me either. She's scared of me, too.
- 34:40Speaker 6: If JJ is doing portraits of the boss lady, I'll
- 34:44Speaker 6: come out and buy one.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Absolutely, yes. I'll hang it on the wall right there
- 34:50Speaker 1: next to the portrait. You know, there's the family, and
- 34:53Speaker 1: there's a portrait of the boss lady hanging.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Next to the Pope.
- 34:56Speaker 1: There you go, right.
- 34:57Speaker 6: You know, Ron, I was listening to you, and I
- 35:00Speaker 6: was listening to one of your callers the other day,
- 35:02Speaker 6: and I couldn't disagree with him. This is where the
- 35:05Speaker 6: war goes. I am of the opinion that the president
- 35:10Speaker 6: should negotiate a peace deal immediately. And I know the
- 35:16Speaker 6: stumbling point is the enriched uranium, which he says is
- 35:22Speaker 6: buried under a mountain. I don't know how many thousands
- 35:25Speaker 6: of feet deep. So why not negotiate some type of
- 35:32Speaker 6: no-fly zone or no-entrance zone, whatever the case may be
- 35:36Speaker 6: with the Iranians, and say, we'll just leave it there.
- 35:39Speaker 6: But if anyone goes into that area, we're going to
- 35:42Speaker 6: bomb it again. I would hope that would work, but
- 35:46Speaker 6: he's got to get the straits back open as soon
- 35:50Speaker 6: as possible and get the price of gas down, or
- 35:54Speaker 6: everything he has stood for is going to fail. Could
- 35:59Speaker 6: you imagine this country with Chuck Schumer in charge of
- 36:02Speaker 6: the Senate?
- 36:03Speaker 1: No.
- 36:05Speaker 6: It's a scary thought. They're going to pack the Supreme Court.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Stand by, Mayor. Stand by one second. Stand by.
- 36:12Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 36:15Speaker 1: All right. You know, Mayor, you make perfect sense to me,
- 36:19Speaker 1: and I wish you would listen.
- 36:20Speaker 6: Well, it just has to be done, and I think
- 36:24Speaker 6: he's moving in that direction because, again, we're safe from
- 36:28Speaker 6: the nuclear waste as long as it's buried that deep. And, again,
- 36:33Speaker 6: we can strike them again. But, you know, Rod, a
- 36:35Speaker 6: couple of your callers, and I have to agree with them,
- 36:37Speaker 6: I don't agree with everything the president does. Nobody agrees
- 36:41Speaker 6: with everything a politician does. He does some stupid things.
- 36:46Speaker 6: There's no question about it. But I'm sorry. I'm not
