Quebec’s Info-Santé 811 just got smarter—thanks to AI. This is Canada’s first health service to deploy artificial intelligence to handle routine calls, like flu or stomach bug concerns. The AI tool, Navig, trains non-clinical agents to triage callers with medically-approved guidance, so nurses can focus on urgent cases. Since rollout in April, over 17,000 adult flu and gastro calls have been managed—cutting nurse workload and wait times.
