- Lucas: Luna, welcome back to Learn Spanish with Fexingo. I'm Lucas. Luna: And I'm Luna. Hey, Lucas, I've been practicing my numbers up to thirty. Lucas: Nice work. You remember them well? Luna: I think so. Veintiuno, veintidós... yeah, I got the twenties down. Lucas: Perfect. Today we're going to push into the thirties and hit forty. Numbers thirty-one through forty. Luna: Oh, cool. So like, treinta y uno? I know that one. Lucas: You're already ahead. Treinta y uno. Let's say it together. Treinta y uno. Luna: Treinta y uno. Lucas: Great. Now, if you know treinta y uno, you can build all the way to treinta y nueve. The pattern is treinta + y + the unit. So treinta y dos, treinta y tres... Luna: Treinta y cuatro, treinta y cinco. So easy. Lucas: Exactly. Let's go through them. Treinta y seis. Luna: Treinta y seis. Lucas: Treinta y siete. Luna: Treinta y siete. Lucas: Treinta y ocho. Luna: Treinta y ocho. Lucas: Treinta y nueve. Luna: Treinta y nueve. Lucas: And then we jump to cuarenta. Forty. Luna: Cuarenta. That's a nice word. Lucas: It is. So let's practice a little scene. Imagine you're at a market and you want to buy thirty-two oranges. Luna: I would say: Quiero treinta y dos naranjas. Lucas: Perfect. Or if someone asks your age and you're thirty-five, you say: Tengo treinta y cinco años. Luna: Tengo treinta y cinco años. Lucas: You've got it.
