Latest / The Vault: The Epstein Files / Mega Edition: From Silicon Valley To Paris. They Knew What Epstein Was (9/20/26)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: How many times have we talked about the fact that
- 0:02Speaker 1: so-called polite society, these so-called elites, all knew exactly what
- 0:07Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were and what they were about? Well,
- 0:12Speaker 1: now the ex-Reddit of CEO has come out and basically
- 0:17Speaker 1: confirmed all of our suspicions. She had some tweets talking
- 0:23Speaker 1: about Ghislaine Maxwell and the party that they were both at.
- 0:27Speaker 1: And it is disgusting to know that all of these
- 0:32Speaker 1: so-called elites would still associate with Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey
- 0:37Speaker 1: Epstein after what they were involved in. And their excuse of, oh,
- 0:43Speaker 1: we had no idea what was going on, how were
- 0:46Speaker 1: we supposed to know? Well, we never saw anything that
- 0:49Speaker 1: was even.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Could be considered gross or untowards.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Meanwhile, you have the ex-Reddit CEO coming out and saying, oh,
- 1:00Speaker 1: we all basically knew. Eh, you know, according to Ellen Powell,
- 1:04Speaker 1: they all knew what was up. They all had an idea.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But yet, they were all associating with Maxwell still. She
- 1:11Speaker 1: was still invited to all of these so-called elite parties.
- 1:14Speaker 1: She was invited all the way up to 2018 to
- 1:18Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos' private campfire event. And you mean to tell
- 1:23Speaker 1: me we're supposed to believe and accept that none of
- 1:28Speaker 1: these so-called elites that traverse in the circles of so-called
- 1:33Speaker 1: polite society had any idea what kind of serpents were
- 1:38Speaker 1: in their midst? I think they knew. And I just, honestly, folks,
- 1:44Speaker 1: I just think that they didn't care. They believed that
- 1:47Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell would help enrich them and help benefit
- 1:51Speaker 1: them in one way or another. And so it was accepted.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And so it was acceptable. All of these people who
- 1:59Speaker 1: sit atop their ivory towers and throw down condemnations on
- 2:03Speaker 1: the rest of us are really, when it comes down
- 2:07Speaker 1: to it, the sickest most disturbed, most disgusting individuals on
- 2:13Speaker 1: the face of earth. Today's article is from the New
- 2:18Speaker 1: York Post and the headline, ex-Reddit CEO tweeted she knew
- 2:22Speaker 1: about Ghislaine Maxwell allegations in 2011. This article was authored
- 2:28Speaker 1: by Ben Feuerherd. The former CEO of Reddit drew criticism
- 2:35Speaker 1: this week after revealing that she and several others at
- 2:38Speaker 1: a ritzy 2011 Silicon Valley Christmas party attended by Ghislaine
- 2:43Speaker 1: Maxwell knew or suspected that she was allegedly supplying underage
- 2:47Speaker 1: girls to Jeffrey Epstein. but did not call her out.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And how didn't anyone know? We all read the reports
- 2:54Speaker 1: from when Epstein was arrested the first time.
- 2:57Speaker 2: What do you think? That just regular.
- 2:59Speaker 1: People are given immunity deals just for the benefit of
- 3:04Speaker 1: having it? The reason she was named in that immunity deal,
- 3:08Speaker 1: the reason that she was given immunity under that draconian
- 3:12Speaker 1: deal is because she is as guilty as the day
- 3:15Speaker 1: is long. And for these people in so-called polite society,
- 3:20Speaker 1: like Ellen Powell and the rest of these people, to
- 3:24Speaker 1: act like they had no idea when questioned, when in reality,
- 3:29Speaker 1: we all know the truth, it is offensive at this point.
- 3:34Speaker 1: All of these enablers, and that's what they all are, folks, enablers,
- 3:37Speaker 1: everybody that hung out with Jeffrey Epstein and helped him
- 3:41Speaker 1: refurbish his image and helped him get back to being
- 3:47Speaker 1: part of so-called polite society, all of them bear responsibility.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Ellen Powell, the former CEO of Reddit, said in the
- 3:58Speaker 1: tweet posted Monday that Maxwell was at the party hosted
- 4:01Speaker 1: by Kleiner Perkins, a venture capital giant where she worked
- 4:04Speaker 1: as a partner.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, does that shock you?
- 4:08Speaker 1: A venture capitalist inviting somebody like Elaine Maxwell to a party?
- 4:13Speaker 1: Fellow travelers and all. And one thing we have really
- 4:18Speaker 1: uncovered for those who haven't been paying attention, and when
- 4:22Speaker 1: I say we, I don't mean myself.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I mean we as in anybody looking into this story.
- 4:27Speaker 1: One thing that you certainly have found out for yourself
- 4:30Speaker 1: is that the bank's And the financial institutions that were
- 4:34Speaker 1: doing business with Epstein and in general are as scummy
- 4:38Speaker 1: as scummy gets. They knew that money laundering was occurring.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And not only just basic run-of-the-mill money laundering. This money
- 4:45Speaker 1: was being washed from a child sex trafficking scheme. And
- 4:50Speaker 1: these banks just went right along with it. She was
- 4:56Speaker 1: at a Kleiner holiday party in 2011, but I had
- 4:59Speaker 1: no desire to meet her, much less have a photo
- 5:01Speaker 1: taken with her. Pal wrote in a tweet on Monday, oh,
- 5:04Speaker 1: aren't you so much stunning and so much brave? The
- 5:09Speaker 1: right thing would have been to do is walk over
- 5:11Speaker 1: to her, confront her about her so-called actions, and then
- 5:14Speaker 1: find whoever's in charge of the party and make sure
- 5:17Speaker 1: they launch her. And if they choose not to launch her,
- 5:19Speaker 1: then you should have left. But don't come out all
- 5:22Speaker 1: these years later, Monday morning quarterbacking this and acting like,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you know, you're dropping some kind of huge bombshell on people.
- 5:30Speaker 1: We all knew that you and your sick-ass friends knew
- 5:32Speaker 1: the deal. You're just confirming what we already knew right here.
- 5:38Speaker 1: We knew about her supplying underage girls for sex, but
- 5:41Speaker 1: I guess that was fine with the cool people who
- 5:43Speaker 1: managed the tightly controlled guest list, she added. The self-awareness here,
- 5:47Speaker 1: the lack of self-awareness is mind-boggling. Lady, you were at
- 5:54Speaker 1: this party as well. If you stayed, that means you
- 5:59Speaker 1: agreed with what was going on. You agreed that it's
- 6:02Speaker 1: cool that Maxwell is there. How about having a little
- 6:06Speaker 1: bit of.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Inner fortitude.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And going against the grain and walking out of that
- 6:13Speaker 1: party if she is not removed? Instead, you hop on
- 6:17Speaker 1: Reddit or Twitter or whatever and you make a post
- 6:19Speaker 1: all these years later.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Look at me. I'm helping.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Twitter users slam pal for not saying anything about the
- 6:29Speaker 1: guest list for years after the party.
- 6:31Speaker 2: 100%.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I haven't read the tweet because, to be honest with you,
- 6:35Speaker 1: I really don't bother reading threads on Twitter or anything
- 6:38Speaker 1: like that unless I'm tagged in a post or mentioned.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I don't really bother with it because it's a cesspool
- 6:43Speaker 1: of disinformation and nonsense. But There are people on Twitter
- 6:48Speaker 1: that will call you out and hold you accountable for
- 6:51Speaker 1: your nonsense. And I guess we're seeing that here with Ms. Powell.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And she should be held to account. How dare she
- 6:59Speaker 1: wait all of these years to come out and say something?
- 7:02Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 7:03Speaker 1: You're brave now for coming out after all of these
- 7:06Speaker 1: years after sitting on this information? This information couldn't have
- 7:09Speaker 1: helped Virginia and her defamation suit? This information couldn't have
- 7:13Speaker 1: helped the prosecution perhaps? But no, now you'll come out
- 7:16Speaker 1: and you'll try and score points and sound cool on
- 7:19Speaker 1: Twitter for your, I don't know, probably 50,000 followers or
- 7:23Speaker 1: whatever the hell it is.
- 7:25Speaker 2: It is an absolute joke. This lady is a joke.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So-called polite society is a joke. And Silicon Valley is
- 7:33Speaker 1: inhabited with a bunch of sick, disgusting people. Sorry, but
- 7:40Speaker 1: it sounded like you were fine with it too, one
- 7:42Speaker 1: user responded.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Wait, what?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Everyone in the room knew she was a child sex
- 7:47Speaker 1: trafficker and no one in the room objected to her presence,
- 7:50Speaker 1: another wrote? 100%, like I said last night, I don't
- 7:53Speaker 1: know about you folks out there, but personally, I don't
- 7:55Speaker 1: know not even one person who is a sex trafficker,
- 7:59Speaker 1: nevermind the child sex trafficker. So how is it that
- 8:03Speaker 1: all of these people in so-called polite society have a
- 8:06Speaker 1: phone book full with people who are either under suspicion
- 8:10Speaker 1: of sex trafficking or have been convicted of sex trafficking?
- 8:14Speaker 1: It's not a coincidence, okay?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Fellow travelers.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Sounds like you're associated with some pretty cool people, a
- 8:24Speaker 1: third user responded. And again, all these people on Twitter responding,
- 8:28Speaker 1: they have the right of it here.
- 8:30Speaker 2: This lady is... disgusting.
- 8:33Speaker 1: The fact that she supposedly knew, she said that her
- 8:36Speaker 1: and all of these people knew that Ghislaine Maxwell was
- 8:39Speaker 1: trafficking children, and they didn't have the courage and the
- 8:43Speaker 1: fruits to stand up and say, hey lady, what are
- 8:46Speaker 1: you doing here? Nobody wants to associate with you. You
- 8:49Speaker 1: should be in prison, not at this high-class party. But instead,
- 8:52Speaker 1: they all hobnobbed, they all drank, and they all swapped stories,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Oh, I can do this for you. Oh, I can
- 8:59Speaker 2: get you in here. Oh, I know Prince Andrew.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And so the circle continued. Pouse had her Twitter to
- 9:09Speaker 1: private after the criticism, but later lifted the privacy setting.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And that's how all of these people are. These people
- 9:15Speaker 1: in so-called polite society, when they're in the position to
- 9:18Speaker 1: have us under their heel, when they're in the position
- 9:22Speaker 1: to take advantage of the rest of us, oh, they
- 9:25Speaker 1: love to do it. But the second they're called out
- 9:28Speaker 1: on their bullshit, the second anybody shows up with pitchforks
- 9:31Speaker 1: and torches.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Oh, now it's a problem. Now I got to set
- 9:35Speaker 1: my account to privacy. How dare you bully me? Listen, lady,
- 9:41Speaker 1: you should have come forward a very long time ago.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You sitting on this information is bad news and it
- 9:47Speaker 1: could have went to hurt other people. So I hope
- 9:51Speaker 1: when you look at yourself in the mirror at night
- 9:52Speaker 1: and you're swimming through your billions of dollars and your
- 9:55Speaker 1: millions of dollars that you can live with yourself and
- 9:57Speaker 1: with the fact that you remain silent in the face
- 10:00Speaker 1: of absolute horrendous evil. In a second tweet, she clarified
- 10:07Speaker 1: that media reports had implicated Maxwell in sex trafficking, but
- 10:11Speaker 1: the accused madam had not been charged criminally at the time.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Well, I don't care.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Okay, point blank period. There are some things that go
- 10:19Speaker 1: beyond the pale. And when it comes to what she
- 10:21Speaker 1: was accused of, what she was involved in, that's where
- 10:26Speaker 1: you should draw the line, okay? We're not talking about
- 10:30Speaker 1: your friend who got busted for selling drugs. We're not
- 10:33Speaker 1: talking about your friend who was stealing from JP Morgan.
- 10:37Speaker 1: We're not talking about your typical blue collar, white bread
- 10:41Speaker 1: ass crime. We're talking about something completely different. Something there
- 10:46Speaker 1: is no coming back from.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And yet, all of.
- 10:51Speaker 1: These people associated with her. And furthermore, she was invited
- 10:56Speaker 1: to this party by someone. To be clear, the press
- 11:00Speaker 1: had described her as supplying underage girls for sex, but
- 11:04Speaker 1: she had not been charged, so I guess it would
- 11:05Speaker 1: be more accurate to say we suspected versus knew, she wrote.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Oh, give me a break.
- 11:10Speaker 1: The backtracking is ridiculous. All you had to do is
- 11:14Speaker 1: read the reports. All you had to do is read
- 11:16Speaker 1: the statements. All you had to do is read the
- 11:18Speaker 1: evidence at the time. And you knew that Ghislaine Maxwell
- 11:21Speaker 1: was neck deep in Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit. And all of
- 11:26Speaker 1: these people with their bullshit excuses on a regular basis,
- 11:29Speaker 1: every time they're called to account is just, at this point,
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's not even humorous anymore.
- 11:36Speaker 2: It's disgusting.
- 11:38Speaker 1: None of these people want to take responsibility for the
- 11:40Speaker 1: fact that they were hanging out and breaking bread with
- 11:45Speaker 1: sex traffickers and child molesters.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Point blank, period.
- 11:52Speaker 1: When asked by another Twitter user if everyone at the
- 11:57Speaker 1: party was okay with Maxwell being at the party, she
- 12:00Speaker 1: responded that the employees who made the guest list were
- 12:02Speaker 1: fine with her attending. Well, everybody was, obviously. Nobody stood up, right?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Not one person at that party had the fruits to
- 12:10Speaker 1: stand up and walk over to whoever was throwing it
- 12:13Speaker 1: and demand that a sex trafficker of children get thrown
- 12:17Speaker 1: out of the party. So what does that say about
- 12:19Speaker 1: all of you? Sometimes you have to be willing to
- 12:23Speaker 1: go against the grain. Sometimes you have to be willing
- 12:26Speaker 1: to go against the crowd and the majority and stand
- 12:29Speaker 1: up and say.
- 12:29Speaker 2: This is bullshit. This is wrong. But instead, these.
- 12:37Speaker 1: So-called members of polite society just go ahead and roll
- 12:43Speaker 1: with it. They don't care. Because at the end of
- 12:45Speaker 1: the day, they don't care about anybody. who is not
- 12:51Speaker 1: in their so-called elite little circle. The rest of us
- 12:55Speaker 1: are chattel. The rest of us are meant to go
- 12:58Speaker 1: and fight in their endless wars and slave away at
- 13:02Speaker 1: our dead-end jobs. That's what they have in store for us.
- 13:09Speaker 1: The super exclusive party was attended by tech industry giants
- 13:13Speaker 1: and former politicians, including Al Gore, ex-MySpace CEO Owen Van Natta,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and former Twitter engineering head Mike Abbott, according to Business Insider.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Al Gore, huh? Well, that's a pretty inconvenient truth. Mr.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Al Gore didn't step up to the plate, didn't go
- 13:29Speaker 1: and confront Ghislaine Maxwell, didn't tell her to kick rocks, huh? Shocking.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Doesn't, doesn't, honestly, it's not shocking.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Because we all know that Al Gore is a man
- 13:39Speaker 1: of small character as well. Kleiner Perkins is venture capital
- 13:45Speaker 1: giant in Silicon Valley that provided funding for companies such
- 13:48Speaker 1: as Amazon, Google, and Twitter. Powell served as a partner
- 13:52Speaker 1: at the firm before leaving in 2012. And then she
- 13:56Speaker 1: basically dropped shit on their name, right? She's not there anymore. Well,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I had no say in it. I wasn't in charge
- 14:02Speaker 1: of the guest list. Well, you worked there, right? You
- 14:04Speaker 1: couldn't call your boss and bring it to your boss's
- 14:06Speaker 1: attention and shoot it up the ladder. And if you
- 14:09Speaker 1: shot it up the ladder and it died, don't you
- 14:12Speaker 1: think that if you're someone like her with her resume
- 14:15Speaker 1: that you'd walk out of that job and have another
- 14:17Speaker 1: job tomorrow, especially when you explain the circumstances? But no,
- 14:22Speaker 1: you stayed, you worked there, you attended the parties, and
- 14:25Speaker 1: basically you gave your consent to Maxwell also being there.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Maxwell was arrested last week in New Hampshire and hit
- 14:34Speaker 1: with a six-count indictment for allegedly trafficking underage girls for
- 14:38Speaker 1: pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and lying about the alleged crimes under oath.
- 14:43Speaker 1: At the time of the 2011 party, Epstein had been
- 14:47Speaker 1: convicted of sex trafficking in Florida and ordered to register
- 14:51Speaker 1: as a sex offender. So it's not like it came
- 14:53Speaker 1: as a shock to anybody, okay? Let's not act like
- 14:56Speaker 1: it came as a shock. Let's not act like these
- 14:58Speaker 1: people had no idea because they did.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And Mrs.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Ellen Pow, well, she's telling you right here in her
- 15:05Speaker 1: own words that not only she knew, but the rest
- 15:09Speaker 1: of these sick, disgusting, bipedal serpents also knew, and they
- 15:14Speaker 1: didn't say a word. These are the people who, who
- 15:21Speaker 1: think that they should rule over us politically and elsewise. Well, folks,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I have to tell you, now that the curtain is
- 15:31Speaker 1: being pulled back, the cockroaches are starting to scurry. And
- 15:37Speaker 1: it's becoming quite obvious that more and more of these
- 15:44Speaker 1: members of Silicon Valley and so-called polite society knew exactly
- 15:49Speaker 1: what was going on, knew exactly what Ghislaine Maxwell was,
- 15:53Speaker 1: knew exactly what Jeffrey Epstein was, and they just didn't care.
- 16:00Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
- 16:01Speaker 1: at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. You can
- 16:09Speaker 1: also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. Inside
- 16:15Speaker 1: of the description box, you will be able to find
- 16:17Speaker 1: all of the links that pertain to the podcast.
- 16:20Speaker 2: All right, everybody, we'll be back.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Jean-Luc Brunel and
- 16:27Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein were well known in the modeling industry. Now,
- 16:31Speaker 1: of course, people in the modeling industry, they'll tell you
- 16:34Speaker 1: they had no idea what Epstein or Brunel were about.
- 16:38Speaker 1: But we all know that's BS. These people were with Epstein.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They were with Brunel. They had heard all the stories.
- 16:47Speaker 1: None of this is new. But people in the modeling
- 16:50Speaker 1: industry knew. They chose to ignore what Epstein was and
- 16:55Speaker 1: what Jean-Luc Brunel was because they were able to make
- 16:59Speaker 1: some money for the industry. And when it comes down
- 17:02Speaker 1: to it, folks, that's all that really matters to people
- 17:04Speaker 1: like this. A bunch of money. Doesn't matter if you're
- 17:07Speaker 1: exploiting young girls. Doesn't matter if you're exploiting people from
- 17:11Speaker 1: war-torn nations or you're bringing in three 14, 12-year-old triplets
- 17:17Speaker 1: for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse. That doesn't matter to the
- 17:20Speaker 1: people in the modeling industry, at least at this time.
- 17:23Speaker 1: All that mattered was Epstein and Jean-Luc Brunel were bringing
- 17:27Speaker 1: in the money and bringing in the girls. All the
- 17:30Speaker 1: other stuff, eh, not our problem. But the stark reality
- 17:35Speaker 1: is this. The modeling industry in general is littered with scumbags.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Every time I look at one of these modeling executives,
- 17:43Speaker 1: one of these old-ass dudes... who was never a model
- 17:47Speaker 1: in their best of days, it's very obvious, it cracks
- 17:51Speaker 1: me up. It's like me buying an auto shop. The
- 17:53Speaker 1: hell do I know about fixing cars? And these ugly-ass
- 17:57Speaker 1: old dudes, what do you know about beauty? What do
- 17:59Speaker 1: you know about fashion? So it's always made me crack
- 18:03Speaker 1: up when I'd see these guys at these beauty pageants and,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know, the Trumps of the world, the rest of them.
- 18:09Speaker 1: It's just such a joke. We know why you're there.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You want to oogle at younger girls and you want
- 18:14Speaker 1: to try and score a couple of younger chicks you
- 18:16Speaker 1: might have never been able to get on your own.
- 18:18Speaker 1: That's basically what these modeling dudes do. And then they
- 18:23Speaker 1: have a lot of power over these young women, right?
- 18:26Speaker 1: And if you don't play ball with them, meaning Epstein
- 18:30Speaker 1: and Jean-Luc Brunel and others like them, well, your modeling
- 18:33Speaker 1: career is over before it even began. And it should
- 18:39Speaker 1: never be like that. These girls that go for these
- 18:42Speaker 1: modeling jobs, they should be treated like any other employee
- 18:44Speaker 1: in any other workplace. Okay, they're wearing skimpy clothes. Get
- 18:48Speaker 1: over it. I mean, first time you ever seen somebody
- 18:51Speaker 1: in a bikini? So it's just absurd to me that
- 18:54Speaker 1: these dudes can't control themselves. And you would think with
- 18:57Speaker 1: all the money they have, they don't have to go
- 18:59Speaker 1: out and assault people, rape people. You literally have all
- 19:03Speaker 1: the money in the world. Call a professional who chooses
- 19:08Speaker 1: to be a sex worker. But it's not about that
- 19:11Speaker 1: for them, right? It's not the sex per se. It's
- 19:14Speaker 1: the power that comes along with exerting themselves over these
- 19:18Speaker 1: young girls. And that's part of the draw for them.
- 19:22Speaker 1: When you're this stinking rich, you don't get off the
- 19:25Speaker 1: way most of us do. You know, me or you,
- 19:27Speaker 1: we're like, all right, we're going to plan a vacation
- 19:29Speaker 1: to go to Italy or we're going to go on
- 19:32Speaker 1: a sick mountain climb. And that's exciting for us. We're,
- 19:35Speaker 1: you know, looking forward to it. These people, they only
- 19:38Speaker 1: get off on abusing other people, hurting other people because
- 19:42Speaker 1: they're just morbid and twisted. And I'm convinced the more
- 19:47Speaker 1: money you earn, the more twisted you become. Today's article
- 19:51Speaker 1: is from The Mirror, and the author of this article
- 19:55Speaker 1: is Matthew Dresch. Headline, four models claim Epstein's pal abused
- 20:00Speaker 1: them as fashion industry turned a blind eye. There's no
- 20:05Speaker 1: doubt that the fashion industry did not care. And my
- 20:08Speaker 1: guess is they still don't care. I haven't really been
- 20:12Speaker 1: delving into the current fashion industry and what they're up to.
- 20:16Speaker 1: But my guess is things haven't changed too much. Still sick-ass,
- 20:20Speaker 1: disgusting predators out there. These modeling agents who are going
- 20:24Speaker 1: to war-torn nations, finding vulnerable girls, and then controlling their
- 20:29Speaker 1: whole entire lives by dangling this alleged career in front
- 20:33Speaker 1: of them. But the reality is they get brought to
- 20:36Speaker 1: a place like America, put in a building like the
- 20:39Speaker 1: one on 66 in New York, and then instead of
- 20:41Speaker 1: modeling gigs, well, they're forced to go and, quote-unquote, air
- 20:45Speaker 1: quotes here, entertain men at parties for Epstein and Brunel,
- 20:50Speaker 1: like a lot of these girls were made to do. Now, again,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on in the modeling industry
- 20:56Speaker 1: right now. I don't know what these people are up to.
- 20:58Speaker 1: But my guess is there's still some issues that need
- 21:02Speaker 1: to be dealt with. Jeffrey Epstein's fashion agent pal has
- 21:06Speaker 1: been accused of sexual abuse by four models who claim
- 21:09Speaker 1: the industry turned a blind eye to his behavior. Three
- 21:13Speaker 1: women told The Guardian that Jean-Luc Brunel raped them in Paris,
- 21:17Speaker 1: while another alleges he sexually assaulted her and then pimped
- 21:21Speaker 1: her out to Epstein. Well, we know that that's factual
- 21:25Speaker 1: as far as things that Jean-Luc Brunel was up to.
- 21:29Speaker 1: This guy was a key cog for Epstein's European operation.
- 21:36Speaker 1: People don't want to talk about it enough, but Jean-Luc
- 21:38Speaker 1: Brunel was not just some hanger-on. This guy was a
- 21:41Speaker 1: huge part of Epstein's operation, specifically bringing in these models
- 21:46Speaker 1: from places in Europe. The Balkans, places like Ukraine, places
- 21:52Speaker 1: like Russia, places like Belarus, where, you know, it's a
- 21:57Speaker 1: developing situation. And they looked for girls who were vulnerable,
- 22:01Speaker 1: girls that they thought they could manipulate, And they'd bring
- 22:04Speaker 1: them over with all of these grand plans. And Jean-Luc
- 22:08Speaker 1: Brunel was right in the middle of all of that
- 22:11Speaker 1: for a very, very long time. And it was a
- 22:15Speaker 1: well-kept secret, or an open secret, if you will, in
- 22:18Speaker 1: the community. Everybody knew that Jean-Luc Brunel was a scumbag
- 22:22Speaker 1: piece of shit. And these people still did business with him.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Some of these big stores we've talked about too. Macy's
- 22:29Speaker 1: and Dillard's and JCPenney's and you name it. It comes
- 22:37Speaker 1: after the former head of Karen Models was found dead
- 22:39Speaker 1: in his cell at La Sante prison in February, with
- 22:43Speaker 1: investigators treating the death as a suspected suicide. The 75-year-old
- 22:48Speaker 1: died while he was on remand over rape allegations and
- 22:52Speaker 1: was suspected of supplying underage girls to Epstein, who also
- 22:57Speaker 1: took his own life in jail, allegedly. And again, look,
- 23:00Speaker 1: it's all coincidence, right? Everyone just happens to take their
- 23:03Speaker 1: own life in jail when you're hanging out with Epstein.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Or if you have any kind of ties to Epstein
- 23:08Speaker 1: whatsoever and you're caught up, you better expect to have
- 23:13Speaker 1: a rough go of it. Now, Ghislaine Maxwell, she was
- 23:18Speaker 1: able to avoid the pitfalls because she was locked into
- 23:21Speaker 1: that solitary cell. Nobody was ever put in there with her.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Smart move. And again, just makes you wonder why Tartaglione
- 23:30Speaker 1: was ever put in a cell with Jeffrey Epstein in
- 23:32Speaker 1: the first place. Notice they didn't make that same mistake,
- 23:35Speaker 1: quote-unquote mistake, with Maxwell, right? One model alleges Brunel raped
- 23:44Speaker 1: her shortly after she moved from the U.S. to Paris
- 23:47Speaker 1: to pursue a fashion career at the age of 22.
- 23:51Speaker 1: She claims Brunel raped her when she stayed at his
- 23:53Speaker 1: home after a dinner party in the spring of 1986.
- 23:56Speaker 1: And look, we have heard from numerous sources at this
- 24:02Speaker 1: point about the kind of person Jean-Luc Brunel was. I
- 24:07Speaker 1: won't even call him a man, because a man certainly
- 24:10Speaker 1: doesn't conduct himself in this manner. This is a straight-up animal, okay? Look,
- 24:15Speaker 1: we're not talking about Gray area. 19 year old with
- 24:19Speaker 1: a 17 year old stuff, right? Where you're like, I
- 24:21Speaker 1: don't know about that. This is pure evil. Straight up
- 24:27Speaker 1: animal behavior. Predatory behavior. Going after these young girls and
- 24:32Speaker 1: war-torn nations. Buying them from their parents. And if you
- 24:37Speaker 1: don't think that kind of stuff happens, you're not paying attention.
- 24:41Speaker 1: We've been talking about it recently. How parents are selling
- 24:44Speaker 1: their children for food in places like Afghanistan. I think
- 24:47Speaker 1: it's the first time in history that's happened. And there's
- 24:50Speaker 1: people out there like Jean-Luc Brunel who most certainly are
- 24:53Speaker 1: paying attention and who will most certainly are going to
- 24:57Speaker 1: try and benefit from the pain and misery of others.
- 25:01Speaker 1: All right, folks, let's take a quick commercial break. She
- 25:07Speaker 1: says she slept on the couch after the meal as
- 25:10Speaker 1: no one was available to take her home. However, she
- 25:13Speaker 1: claims she was woken up by the agent who told
- 25:16Speaker 1: her to move to his bed. Imagine, you fall asleep
- 25:19Speaker 1: on the couch, young girl, thinking that you're going to
- 25:22Speaker 1: have this great modeling career, and this sick, disgusting, ugly
- 25:26Speaker 1: son of a bitch crawls into bed with you. That
- 25:29Speaker 1: alone right there, this disgusting son of a bitch in
- 25:31Speaker 1: bed with you, enough to make you want to pass
- 25:34Speaker 1: out and die from heart failure looking at this disgusting dude.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And to think that he really thought that he could
- 25:43Speaker 1: just do whatever he wanted to people whenever he wanted
- 25:46Speaker 1: because he was some dumbass modeling agent is just beyond
- 25:50Speaker 1: the limits of disgusting. And nobody stopped him, remember that.
- 25:57Speaker 1: All of these people who worked in the modeling industry,
- 26:00Speaker 1: all of these people that were around him, nobody ever
- 26:03Speaker 1: slapped this dude around like he should have been slapped around.
- 26:08Speaker 1: She said, he was standing over me, and he was insistent,
- 26:10Speaker 1: almost angry. And he went, go to my bed, I'll
- 26:13Speaker 1: sleep out here, you go now. I stupidly went into
- 26:17Speaker 1: his bedroom, into this big bed with these satin sheets. Somehow,
- 26:22Speaker 1: I managed to fall asleep again. And I woke up
- 26:25Speaker 1: and he was on top of me. He was naked
- 26:27Speaker 1: and he was thrusting between my legs. Look, there is
- 26:32Speaker 1: not a hell deep enough or hot enough for Jean-Luc
- 26:37Speaker 1: Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein in all of the annals of history. Right?
- 26:44Speaker 1: In all of the tales we've heard about hell, there
- 26:46Speaker 1: is not one hot enough or disgusting enough for these
- 26:51Speaker 1: two people. These are the cream of the crop, worst
- 26:55Speaker 1: of the worst when it comes to predators, human traffickers.
- 27:00Speaker 1: These two dudes, Brunel and Epstein, will go down in
- 27:03Speaker 1: history as top of the line pieces of shit. The model,
- 27:11Speaker 1: who is now in her 50s, said she managed to
- 27:13Speaker 1: push Brunel off her and resisted his attempts to make
- 27:16Speaker 1: her go down on him. He then allegedly took her
- 27:19Speaker 1: hand and put it on his private parts Before he
- 27:23Speaker 1: passed out in the bed. She alleges Brunel screamed at
- 27:27Speaker 1: her when she went to work the following Monday. Telling
- 27:30Speaker 1: her she no longer worked at Karen Models. Oh isn't
- 27:33Speaker 1: that nice. I'm going to sexually assault you. And then
- 27:35Speaker 1: I'm just going to tell you you're not working here anymore.
- 27:37Speaker 1: On top of it. Let me tell you. If it
- 27:42Speaker 1: wasn't for the fact that this guy is not going
- 27:45Speaker 1: to be held to account. I'd be happy as hell
- 27:48Speaker 1: that he killed himself in this jail. One last piece
- 27:51Speaker 1: of shit that the good people of France have to
- 27:53Speaker 1: pay for. A second model claims she was also a
- 27:58Speaker 1: victim of Brunel who allegedly pimped her out to his
- 28:00Speaker 1: pedophile pal Epstein. She said the fashion mogul pestered her
- 28:05Speaker 1: for sex, grabbed her breasts, put his hand up her dress,
- 28:08Speaker 1: and rubbed himself against her. Sure sounds like an Epstein move, right?
- 28:12Speaker 1: And again, this is what Epstein liked. He liked to
- 28:15Speaker 1: have his boys bring him girls. And that's why when
- 28:17Speaker 1: we talk about the Gazelle Ganieva situation with Leon Black,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm inclined to listen to what she has to say.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Now again, I don't know what happened. If she's telling
- 28:27Speaker 1: the truth, if she's not. We haven't seen enough evidence yet,
- 28:30Speaker 1: one way or the other. But when you look at
- 28:33Speaker 1: the way Epstein acted and the way he conducted himself,
- 28:38Speaker 1: it certainly falls in line with what Ms. Ganieva is saying, right?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Pimped her out to his pedophile pal Epstein. Bringing her
- 28:46Speaker 1: to Epstein. Jean-Luc Brunel. Leon Black. You know, all of
- 28:50Speaker 1: this stuff. Fellow travelers and all, right? The model alleges...
- 28:56Speaker 1: He also arranged for her to attend a casting call
- 28:59Speaker 1: with a Hollywood movie agent called Jeffy, who she later
- 29:03Speaker 1: realized was actually Epstein. Epstein told her he needed to
- 29:06Speaker 1: kiss her to make sure she was a good kisser.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And passionate, he said. I'm guessing, and I don't know
- 29:12Speaker 1: this for sure or anything, but my guess is that
- 29:15Speaker 1: you're not going to have to go off and kiss
- 29:17Speaker 1: your modeling agent. I don't know what kissing has to
- 29:20Speaker 1: do with working, but... These dudes were up to it,
- 29:24Speaker 1: and during the time that they were doing this shit,
- 29:26Speaker 1: it was pretty much just an acceptable practice, I guess.
- 29:34Speaker 1: He then orchestrated another scene, in which he puts his
- 29:36Speaker 1: hand on her breast and up her skirt, she claims.
- 29:40Speaker 1: The model says she fled the apartment after Epstein began
- 29:42Speaker 1: touching himself in front of her. She said she rang
- 29:45Speaker 1: her U.S. agency and begged them to get her out.
- 29:48Speaker 1: She flew home to Stoneboro, Pennsylvania shortly after the alleged abuse.
- 29:53Speaker 1: And again, Epstein was known to pull out his private
- 29:57Speaker 1: parts and touch himself. He was into that. It was
- 29:59Speaker 1: like he was somebody who was into being watched, right?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Epstein and Brunel are thought to have first met in
- 30:09Speaker 1: the 1980s through Epstein's madam, Ghislaine Maxwell. Brunel visited Epstein
- 30:14Speaker 1: 67 times in prison after he was jailed for procuring
- 30:18Speaker 1: an underage girl for prostitution in 2008. No such thing
- 30:23Speaker 1: as procuring an underage girl. That's called a child sex offense, okay?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Let's call it what it is. Another of Brunel's alleged
- 30:30Speaker 1: victims claims he raped her after inviting her to work
- 30:33Speaker 1: for him, and live in his flat when she was 18.
- 30:36Speaker 1: So first of all, why is this dude visiting Epstein
- 30:40Speaker 1: 67 times in prison? What the hell could you possibly
- 30:42Speaker 1: have to talk to him about? She has previously told
- 30:48Speaker 1: The Guardian that she was paralyzed after accepting a drink
- 30:51Speaker 1: from him in September 1991. The Dutch model said she
- 30:56Speaker 1: remembered him pushing himself between her legs, although the rest
- 31:00Speaker 1: of the night was a blur. The next morning, she
- 31:03Speaker 1: woke up in a kimono that was not hers and
- 31:06Speaker 1: felt sore on her inner thighs. Now, growing up in
- 31:10Speaker 1: the 90s, early 2000s, those kinds of drugs were very prevalent.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I remember going to raves and people getting roofied and shit.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It was wild watching people stumble around, don't know what
- 31:21Speaker 1: they're doing, don't remember where they are. So you could
- 31:24Speaker 1: tell and see how powerful these drugs could be. And
- 31:28Speaker 1: if you slipped enough of it into somebody's drink and
- 31:30Speaker 1: got them alone, there's no telling what sort of disgusting
- 31:33Speaker 1: shit you could do to them without them even waking up.
- 31:37Speaker 1: And according to a lot of sources, this was one
- 31:40Speaker 1: of the many things that Brunel would employ to get
- 31:44Speaker 1: these girls to a point where they were more malleable
- 31:48Speaker 1: for this sick, disgusting bastard. She fled that flat and
- 31:54Speaker 1: eventually changed careers working behind the camera and television. A
- 31:58Speaker 1: fourth model also alleged that Brunel raped her after bringing
- 32:01Speaker 1: her to Paris in 1996. She was just 17 years
- 32:05Speaker 1: old when she was invited to work at Karen Models.
- 32:08Speaker 1: She claims the agent raped her for the first time
- 32:11Speaker 1: at one of his dinner parties. She said she blacked
- 32:14Speaker 1: out after having drinks in his living room, although she
- 32:17Speaker 1: remembers seeing him on top of her, forcing her into
- 32:20Speaker 1: a sex act at one point. The youngster compartmentalized the
- 32:24Speaker 1: alleged rape and focused on her work, although she started
- 32:27Speaker 1: using cocaine as a coping mechanism, she said. And how
- 32:31Speaker 1: many times do you see that? Women who are sexually
- 32:33Speaker 1: abused or men who are sexually abused, they end up
- 32:36Speaker 1: having a drug addiction and it just compounds their problems
- 32:39Speaker 1: moving forward. Having a severe drug addiction is not an
- 32:42Speaker 1: easy thing to kick. And when you're dealing with a
- 32:45Speaker 1: lot of trauma, well, it's pretty enticing to have a
- 32:50Speaker 1: little bit of an escape, no? Brunel then raped her
- 32:54Speaker 1: again after an agency dinner, she claims. The pair had
- 32:58Speaker 1: been taking cocaine, and the model believes her decision to
- 33:01Speaker 1: go back to his home was linked to her drug use.
- 33:05Speaker 1: She claims her American agent confronted a representative of Karen
- 33:08Speaker 1: Models after she told them about her alleged abuse. The
- 33:12Speaker 1: female scout had previously flown to the U.S. to reassure
- 33:16Speaker 1: Leandra's family that she would be safe with Brunel. The
- 33:19Speaker 1: model's U.S. agent told the scout, that Leandra could go
- 33:23Speaker 1: public with her claims. However, the representative warned him that
- 33:27Speaker 1: Brunel had a relationship with a Russian mob, she said.
- 33:31Speaker 1: And pretty typical, right? Let me flex real quick. I'm
- 33:34Speaker 1: going to tell you who my dangerous friends are so
- 33:37Speaker 1: that you'll play ball with me. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And it was the same routine for decade after decade
- 33:44Speaker 1: with Epstein and Brunel. And nobody was the wiser, huh?
- 33:48Speaker 1: Nobody in the fashion industry had any idea what was
- 33:51Speaker 1: going on. Well, that's what they'd have you believe. Me, however, well,
- 33:57Speaker 1: I don't believe them for one second. There's no way
- 34:01Speaker 1: they had no idea what Epstein was. There's no way
- 34:04Speaker 1: they had no idea what Brunel was. They ignored it
- 34:09Speaker 1: and they all benefited from it. And now when the
- 34:14Speaker 1: house of cards is falling in, they all want to
- 34:17Speaker 1: take the defense of, oh, we had no idea what
- 34:20Speaker 1: was going on. Well, you can keep that defense if
- 34:23Speaker 1: you want, and you can keep spouting it off, but
- 34:27Speaker 1: nobody believes it. If you'd like to contact me, you
- 34:31Speaker 1: can do that at bobbycappucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com.
- 34:41Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y-U-C-C-I. The
- 34:48Speaker 1: link that we discussed can be found in the description box.
- 34:53Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 34:56Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So, Jeff Staley is up against it over
- 35:00Speaker 1: in the UK as he battles with regulators over his
- 35:04Speaker 1: alleged lies about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Now, according
- 35:10Speaker 1: to Jeff Staley, however, it was all JP Morgan and
- 35:14Speaker 1: everybody in the upper echelons of power at JP Morgan
- 35:18Speaker 1: knew who Jeffrey Epstein was, knew what he was, and
- 35:21Speaker 1: continued to do business with him anyway. And to be
- 35:25Speaker 1: honest with you, as much as I hate to agree
- 35:27Speaker 1: with Jeff Staley, he is not wrong. The whole entire
- 35:31Speaker 1: financial system is corrupt. From top down. And anybody who
- 35:36Speaker 1: frames anybody else as the real villain here, when it
- 35:39Speaker 1: comes to Jeffrey Epstein, they're misdirecting you from the true problem.
- 35:43Speaker 1: And the true problem, most certainly, is the financial sector.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Today's article is from the New York Post and the headline.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Ex-JP Morgan banker claims Jeffrey Epstein knew more about upper
- 35:54Speaker 1: levels of bank than he did. This article was authored
- 35:58Speaker 1: by Taylor Herslich. An ex-JP Morgan Chase executive testified in
- 36:03Speaker 1: London court that Jeffrey Epstein knew more about what was
- 36:07Speaker 1: going on at the top levels of the bank than
- 36:09Speaker 1: he did. I don't buy that for a minute, by
- 36:11Speaker 1: the way. I'm sure that Jeffrey Epstein knew a whole
- 36:15Speaker 1: lot about what was going on at the bank, and
- 36:17Speaker 1: he learned a lot about it from you. Now, that's
- 36:19Speaker 1: not to say that he wasn't connected with other people.
- 36:22Speaker 1: He most certainly was. Mary Erdos, several other people at
- 36:25Speaker 1: the bank. And to think that Jamie Dimon had no
- 36:29Speaker 1: idea who Epstein was or what he was doing, that's
- 36:31Speaker 1: foolish and laughable as well. But of course, Mr. Dimon
- 36:34Speaker 1: has come out and said he had no idea who
- 36:37Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was and how his bank was making literally
- 36:39Speaker 1: hundreds of millions and billions of dollars on his back.
- 36:43Speaker 1: You know, he didn't have any time to look into that.
- 36:45Speaker 1: None at all. At least if you listen to him
- 36:47Speaker 1: tell it. Jeff Staley, who went on to become chief
- 36:51Speaker 1: executive of Barclays following his stint at JP Morgan, claimed
- 36:54Speaker 1: that Epstein, the convicted child sex offender and disgraced financier, pedophile,
- 36:59Speaker 1: who died in prison in 2019, had a remarkable ability
- 37:03Speaker 1: to gather Wall Street intel, according to a Bloomberg report. Well, yeah,
- 37:07Speaker 1: of course he did. He was getting help from whoever
- 37:09Speaker 1: his handlers were. Whether it was the CIA or the
- 37:12Speaker 1: FBI doesn't matter. Whoever was helping him, they were also
- 37:16Speaker 1: helping him manipulate whatever sort of deals he was getting
- 37:19Speaker 1: engaged in. And the only way for somebody like Epstein
- 37:21Speaker 1: to be able to operate the way he did for
- 37:23Speaker 1: as long as he did was for him to be
- 37:25Speaker 1: getting help from the very top. And that's not just
- 37:29Speaker 1: from the banks, but from the regulators themselves. Mr. Epstein
- 37:33Speaker 1: was also well-connected with the upper levels of J.P. Morgan itself,
- 37:37Speaker 1: Staley said during his second day in the witness box
- 37:40Speaker 1: as he appealed a proposed ban and $ 2. 3 million fine
- 37:44Speaker 1: from London's financial regulatory agency. And what kind of scumbag
- 37:49Speaker 1: do you have to be for the London regulators to
- 37:51Speaker 1: come after you? I mean, you can get away with
- 37:53Speaker 1: anything in London, it seems. Well, except bad posts on
- 37:56Speaker 1: the internet. But to have the London Financial Authority come
- 38:00Speaker 1: after you like this? Yeah, you're up to no good.
- 38:03Speaker 1: But the sad part is, even with all these hearings,
- 38:06Speaker 1: all this other stuff that's happening, there's not going to
- 38:08Speaker 1: be any real repercussion. Sure, you might catch a fine.
- 38:11Speaker 1: He might not be able to work in the financial
- 38:13Speaker 1: sector anymore in London. But do you really think that's
- 38:16Speaker 1: going to affect Jess Staley's life? Is he going to
- 38:19Speaker 1: have one less mimosa because of it? One less mansion
- 38:23Speaker 1: because of what's happening? Of course there's not going to
- 38:26Speaker 1: be any real repercussions. And all of this is just
- 38:29Speaker 1: more theater, right? So the regulatory committee could say, look,
- 38:32Speaker 1: we're doing our job. But the truth is, they failed
- 38:35Speaker 1: to do their job all those years ago when they
- 38:38Speaker 1: should have put a stop to this when it was happening.
- 38:41Speaker 1: He seemed to be aware of things relating to the
- 38:43Speaker 1: bank that I was not aware of, Staley added. Staley,
- 38:46Speaker 1: who is attempting to overturn a lifetime ban that the
- 38:49Speaker 1: Financial Conduct Authority announced in 2023, acknowledged his relationship with
- 38:54Speaker 1: Epstein went beyond work. Yeah, no shit. He was forced
- 38:57Speaker 1: to acknowledge it because we all know. What, you think
- 39:00Speaker 1: he was just forthcoming? Woke up, had some clarity and said,
- 39:04Speaker 1: you know what? I'm going to be a decent human today.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I'm going to tell the whole world the extent of
- 39:09Speaker 1: my relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Zero chance. You think a
- 39:13Speaker 1: man that drags his daughter... into his relationship with Epstein
- 39:17Speaker 1: is ever going to be anything close to honorable? It
- 39:20Speaker 1: was founded on a business relationship. The former Barclays boss
- 39:23Speaker 1: said he became a friend. Yeah, he sure did. Going
- 39:27Speaker 1: to his island, asking about Snow White. and Beauty and
- 39:30Speaker 1: the Beast. I mean, are you for real right now?
- 39:33Speaker 1: In a real world with real justice, you would have
- 39:36Speaker 1: been in handcuffs. But no, in the reality that we
- 39:39Speaker 1: live in, there's never repercussions for people like Jess Daly
- 39:42Speaker 1: and certainly never repercussions for the financial sector as a whole.
- 39:46Speaker 1: He said that Epstein told him about his own departure
- 39:49Speaker 1: from J.P. Morgan before he even knew about it. The
- 39:51Speaker 1: bank was more important to him than the other way around,
- 39:55Speaker 1: Staley said. Yeah, right. You guys had Epstein as part
- 39:58Speaker 1: of your bank because he was bringing you in a
- 40:00Speaker 1: ton of dough. And it doesn't need to be much
- 40:02Speaker 1: more complicated than that. The only reason you guys were
- 40:05Speaker 1: dealing with him is because all the money he was
- 40:07Speaker 1: bringing in. And it doesn't matter if he was an
- 40:10Speaker 1: arms dealer, a child abuser, whatever. These people care about
- 40:14Speaker 1: one thing and one thing only, the bottom line. JPMorgan
- 40:20Speaker 1: Chase officials didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
- 40:24Speaker 1: In 2000, JPMorgan's then-chief executive, Douglas Sandy Warner, told Staley
- 40:29Speaker 1: he should get to know Epstein, Staley claimed in his
- 40:31Speaker 1: witness statement. Sandy Warner recommended that I should become acquainted
- 40:36Speaker 1: with Mr. Epstein because he was an exceptionally well-connected man
- 40:40Speaker 1: who could help me in my capacity at JPM. to
- 40:43Speaker 1: form business relationships with influential and other well-connected individuals, he said.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Talk about letting the fox loose in the henhouse. And
- 40:51Speaker 1: at this point, after all these years of looking into
- 40:53Speaker 1: this story, it's just laughable that anyone at this bank
- 40:57Speaker 1: would act like they didn't know what was up with Epstein.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Anybody in a position of power knew what he was,
- 41:03Speaker 1: who he was, and what he was up to. They
- 41:06Speaker 1: were all making jokes about him in their emails. So
- 41:09Speaker 1: how could they sit here and act like they had
- 41:11Speaker 1: no idea who he was and what he was up to?
- 41:14Speaker 1: Staley claimed that he was not the only high-level figure
- 41:16Speaker 1: at J.P. Morgan in touch with Mr.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Epstein.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Well, that's true. And I want to be very clear
- 41:22Speaker 1: about that. I'm not trying to pin all of this
- 41:24Speaker 1: on Jeff Staley. But he was the linchpin. He was
- 41:27Speaker 1: the middleman, the liaison, Jeffrey Epstein's buddy. He was going
- 41:31Speaker 1: to the island. He was the one talking about Snow White.
- 41:34Speaker 1: He was the one talking about Beauty and the Beast.
- 41:36Speaker 1: He was the one talking about the Jacuzzi. So yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 1: you're the one that has to answer for all of that.
- 41:42Speaker 1: We'll get to the banks later, my friend, but we're
- 41:45Speaker 1: talking about you right now and what you were up
- 41:47Speaker 1: to while you were down on that island. I have
- 41:50Speaker 1: no doubt that as a result of knowledge of the
- 41:53Speaker 1: financial services industry that a number of senior investment bankers
- 41:56Speaker 1: at JPM and other institutions will have engaged in extensive
- 42:01Speaker 1: email correspondence with Mr. Epstein and with other clients without
- 42:05Speaker 1: the relationship between them having become a close one, he
- 42:08Speaker 1: said in his statement. Oh, I'm sure. Somebody's bringing in
- 42:11Speaker 1: billions of dollars and you don't have a close relationship. Right.
- 42:16Speaker 1: They want you to believe that it's like your relationship
- 42:18Speaker 1: with your bank. You go put some money in. They say,
- 42:20Speaker 1: thank you. You keep it moving. That is not what
- 42:24Speaker 1: was going on with Epstein. All these people were using
- 42:27Speaker 1: his island. They were all visiting him in New York.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Some of them were going to Zorro Ranch. And once
- 42:33Speaker 1: they got there, Well, that's where the real questions begin, right?
- 42:37Speaker 1: What were you doing there? Why were you there? Who
- 42:39Speaker 1: were you with? What did you do? And what do
- 42:42Speaker 1: you know? Those are the only questions I have for
- 42:44Speaker 1: people who were on that island. I don't want to
- 42:46Speaker 1: hear anything else. I don't want any excuses. I don't
- 42:49Speaker 1: want to hear why you were there. I don't want
- 42:50Speaker 1: to hear who you were with. I don't want to
- 42:52Speaker 1: hear that you were with your wife, your kids. I
- 42:54Speaker 1: don't want to hear that you were with the Pope.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I don't want to hear you were with Jesus himself.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I want to know why you were on that fucking island.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Point blank, period. No other questions need to be asked.
- 43:04Speaker 1: and no other answers need to be given. Staley said
- 43:09Speaker 1: he regrets his relationship with Epstein, who was a major
- 43:12Speaker 1: JP Morgan client, and claimed he was unaware of the
- 43:15Speaker 1: serial pedophile's abhorrent behavior. Oh yeah, you had no idea.
- 43:19Speaker 1: The rest of the world knew, but not you, huh?
- 43:21Speaker 1: You and your friends were making jokes about this dude,
- 43:23Speaker 1: but you had no idea who he was or what
- 43:26Speaker 1: he was up to. Does anybody really believe that? I
- 43:30Speaker 1: don't think there's a single person on this planet... including
- 43:33Speaker 1: Jess Staley's family, that believes anything he has to say.
- 43:37Speaker 1: If I was aware of his monstrous activities, I would
- 43:40Speaker 1: not have maintained a relationship, and I was not aware,
- 43:43Speaker 1: he said in court. Of course you weren't. You had
- 43:45Speaker 1: no idea. One of the richest men in the world,
- 43:48Speaker 1: one of the most powerful men in the world, I
- 43:50Speaker 1: had no idea what's going on. I'm just a guy
- 43:53Speaker 1: with his eyes closed, being led along by the most
- 43:56Speaker 1: powerful man in the world, Jeffrey Epstein. That's what all
- 43:59Speaker 1: these idiots want us to believe. But the truth is,
- 44:02Speaker 1: They want of their own will. Nobody forced them to
- 44:05Speaker 1: do anything. They all chose to be there. But the
- 44:10Speaker 1: FCA said that J.P. Morgan, Staley's employer for more than
- 44:13Speaker 1: 30 years, told British regulators days before they launched their
- 44:17Speaker 1: investigation that it believed Staley might have been involved in
- 44:20Speaker 1: Epstein's crimes. Well, you don't have to be Inspector Gadget
- 44:24Speaker 1: to figure that out. All you have to do is
- 44:26Speaker 1: look at some of those emails, some of the things
- 44:28Speaker 1: he said. I mean... There's no excuses, there's no explanation
- 44:32Speaker 1: for those emails. So frankly, I don't care what this
- 44:35Speaker 1: dude has to say about anything else. What were you
- 44:37Speaker 1: talking about when you were talking about Snow White? What
- 44:40Speaker 1: were you talking about when you were talking about Beauty
- 44:42Speaker 1: and the Beast? Why don't you answer those questions, Mr. Staley?
- 44:48Speaker 1: The major Wall Street firm told the FCA that it
- 44:51Speaker 1: had information that indicated involvement of Mr. Staley in criminal
- 44:54Speaker 1: activity related to Mr. Epstein's trafficking convictions, according to Mark Stewart.
- 44:59Speaker 1: the agency's former head of enforcement. Mary Erdos, chief executive
- 45:04Speaker 1: of JPMorgan's asset and wealth management division, had desperately sought
- 45:08Speaker 1: Epstein's help as the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme slammed the
- 45:11Speaker 1: bank's clients in 2008, according to court documents filed by
- 45:16Speaker 1: the U.S. Virgin Islands in its 2023 suit against JPMorgan,
- 45:20Speaker 1: which has been settled. And you know what's so funny
- 45:23Speaker 1: about that? Jeffrey Epstein made $ 200 million in the wake
- 45:27Speaker 1: of the 2008 financial crisis. Ask yourselves, how did he
- 45:32Speaker 1: make that money? Well, I don't think that you have
- 45:35Speaker 1: to look too far. He made that money by coming
- 45:37Speaker 1: in and helping out here. Because remember, that's what Jeffrey
- 45:40Speaker 1: Epstein's purpose and function was. He was somebody that went
- 45:43Speaker 1: and found money that was missing or stolen. And that
- 45:47Speaker 1: was his gig, right? People ask, where did Jeffrey Epstein
- 45:50Speaker 1: get his money? Well, that's how he did it. And
- 45:53Speaker 1: that's why he was also flipped and utilized by the
- 45:55Speaker 1: intelligence agencies, because they understood what he was. And they
- 45:59Speaker 1: also understood that not only was he good at doing
- 46:02Speaker 1: what he was doing as far as pillaging money, but
- 46:05Speaker 1: that he had these proclivities that they could manipulate and
- 46:08Speaker 1: use in one of their shitty-ass honeypot schemes. But there's
- 46:11Speaker 1: no doubt that Jeffrey Epstein was used by J.P. Morgan
- 46:14Speaker 1: in the wake of the financial collapse. Erdos emailed Staley
- 46:19Speaker 1: and asked him to call Epstein, who had pleaded guilty
- 46:22Speaker 1: to charges of soliciting prostitution from a minor just six
- 46:25Speaker 1: months earlier, according to the documents. We didn't know, though.
- 46:29Speaker 1: We had no idea. Du was convicted six months earlier.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Erdos terminated J.P. Morgan's bank and relationship with Epstein in 2013,
- 46:38Speaker 1: six months after Staley left the bank. Staley said he
- 46:42Speaker 1: believed Erdos cut ties with Epstein because he had been
- 46:45Speaker 1: withdrawing large amounts of cash. In his witness statement, Staley
- 46:48Speaker 1: claimed he had not been informed of the issues during
- 46:51Speaker 1: his time at J.P. Morgan, but he admitted that he
- 46:54Speaker 1: was inaccurate during questioning when the FCA's lawyer presented a
- 46:57Speaker 1: 2011 email from Epstein to Erdo saying, Jess told me
- 47:01Speaker 1: there was an issue regarding cash withdrawals. Staley is also
- 47:06Speaker 1: battling the FCA over a letter sent by Barclays that
- 47:10Speaker 1: claimed he was not close with Epstein. The letter could
- 47:13Speaker 1: have been written better, Staley said. I wish it had
- 47:15Speaker 1: been handled better. we probably wouldn't be sitting here. Oh,
- 47:19Speaker 1: it was all a clerical error. Everything that happened with
- 47:21Speaker 1: Jeff Staley is nothing more than a clerical error. That's
- 47:23Speaker 1: all it is. Meanwhile, this dude was smack dab in
- 47:26Speaker 1: the middle of Jeffrey Epstein being able to funnel money
- 47:29Speaker 1: all over the place and make no mistake about it.
- 47:32Speaker 1: What Jeffrey Epstein was doing, the people he was molesting,
- 47:35Speaker 1: the people he was abusing, none of that happens without
- 47:38Speaker 1: the backing of the financial sector. None of it. And
- 47:41Speaker 1: also keep in mind that nobody from the financial sector
- 47:44Speaker 1: is ever going to face any repercussions for their enabling
- 47:48Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. Oh sure, they had to pay some fines,
- 47:50Speaker 1: but what does that matter? Because folks, the fix is
- 47:53Speaker 1: truly in. Just like in 2008, when nobody went to
- 47:57Speaker 1: prison from the financial sector, after they absolutely stole every
- 48:01Speaker 1: bit of everybody's retirement. So if you're looking for the
- 48:04Speaker 1: real villains when it comes to people who enabled Jeffrey Epstein,
- 48:07Speaker 1: when it comes to people who helped this dude, Look
- 48:09Speaker 1: no further than the financial sector, and especially JP Morgan
- 48:14Speaker 1: and Jess Staley. If you'd like to contact me, you
