- 0:12Speaker 3: Harry? Mark goes good to hear you. Two quick things.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Number One, did anyone ever tell you what Neil's doctors
- 0:21Speaker 3: west name means?
- 0:24Speaker 2: No? And I never asked, go ahead?
- 0:27Speaker 3: It means in Hebrew it means charity and gave money
- 0:33Speaker 3: to Jewish charities and others. Number Two, we strike against
- 0:40Speaker 3: therm happens a very interesting time, the holiday of Purham,
- 0:47Speaker 3: the king of Persia, going back to thousand, Don's nor
- 0:55Speaker 3: the king.
- 0:57Speaker 4: One?
- 0:57Speaker 2: It does fascinating and really thanks for all the information.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Let's go to h Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart, how
- 1:04Speaker 2: you doing?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Hey? Mark Carr? You know, I just wanted to mention
- 1:09Speaker 4: the phenomenal attack on Iran. The intelligence that it took
- 1:14Speaker 4: to do what he's doing is unbelievable, and I don't
- 1:18Speaker 4: believe people really appreciate the coordination with Israel and the
- 1:24Speaker 4: intelligence that had to happen for the attacks to be effective.
- 1:29Speaker 4: This is just now. I'm a Vietnam vet. My my
- 1:32Speaker 4: son was.
- 1:33Speaker 2: You're in Vietnam, Yes, sir, Oh, yes on our side, Yeah, oh, yes, amazingly.
- 1:43Speaker 4: But yeah, it's just it's phenomenal what is going on.
- 1:47Speaker 4: It was like when all the pages blew up. I mean,
- 1:50Speaker 4: who does that? But I have never a history n
- 1:54Speaker 4: and I have never seen an attack against the country
- 1:57Speaker 4: like this, this effective, and with so much intelligence. It
- 2:02Speaker 4: is just unbelievable. It's unfathomable what had to go into this. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 4: and I don't think people appreciate this. And I've been
- 2:09Speaker 4: calling for this to happen for a long time. You know, Obama, Biden,
- 2:13Speaker 4: they funded a randy, they gave him, you know, millions
- 2:16Speaker 4: and millions of dollars and thank god, you know, Trump
- 2:19Speaker 4: is doing what he's doing. And these Democrats have lost
- 2:23Speaker 4: their minds. If there was a giant flash, you know,
- 2:25Speaker 4: they'd be the ones complaining that Trump didn't do anything.
- 2:29Speaker 4: It is just unbelievable. I just hope people appreciate what
- 2:32Speaker 4: has gone into this.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Very good point. Stuart, Hey, let me ask you some
- 2:35Speaker 2: of me, a long time, longtime law enforcement guy. I
- 2:38Speaker 2: haven't heard the name Nancy Guthrie in like two days.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Is this no?
- 2:41Speaker 4: In fact, I was thinking that while I was waiting
- 2:43Speaker 4: for you that that has taken.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That off the off the so but I never there's
- 2:48Speaker 2: nothing to report. What does this mean? Is it?
- 2:50Speaker 3: No?
- 2:50Speaker 4: I mean no, there is And I think this guy,
- 2:53Speaker 4: it was a spur of the moment thing. I think
- 2:55Speaker 4: she was gone within a couple of days. Yeah, and
- 2:59Speaker 4: they're just looking for a body now, they're looking for something.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Just apparently he wasn't in the DNA database. So I think,
- 3:07Speaker 4: you know, the truth will come out eventually, but I
- 3:09Speaker 4: don't know where it is. But it's it's for him
- 3:12Speaker 4: to throw out a glove with DNA. He's got to
- 3:15Speaker 4: be completely idiotic.
- 3:17Speaker 2: All right. Well, great call as always, Stuart, thanks for
- 3:20Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Steve Maywood, New Jersey. Steve,
- 3:22Speaker 2: how you doing. I'm good Mark, how are you?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Interesting fact about Neil Saidaka he found out recently. In
- 3:30Speaker 1: the seventies he had a little down peer and he
- 3:32Speaker 1: worked in the UK on two albums and he had
- 3:35Speaker 1: this backing band who produced and arranged all the songs.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Actually who they became the band that his suggestion, he said,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you guys are really good, the band ten CC. Yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 1: they had a lot of hits in the seventies or
- 3:47Speaker 1: bigger in England. But yeah, he suggested to them to
- 3:50Speaker 1: form a band.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Apparently, yeah, no, And you know, he did have this
- 3:54Speaker 2: down period, like a lot of the early sixties artists,
- 3:56Speaker 2: late sixties weren't kind to them. So he was in
- 3:58Speaker 2: England doing a lot of work over there. I played
- 4:02Speaker 2: you that hit he had with Tony Christie. But he
- 4:04Speaker 2: did a lot of work in England. That's where he
- 4:07Speaker 2: got close to Elton John. And Elton John was a
- 4:10Speaker 2: big fan of Neil Sadaka's and Elton John was the
- 4:13Speaker 2: one that pretty much arranged the comeback with a record
- 4:16Speaker 2: deal and all of that, and that's where Laughter in
- 4:19Speaker 2: the Rain launched that huge comeback. Let's go to Steve
- 4:22Speaker 2: in Staten Island. Steve, how you doing okay?
- 4:25Speaker 5: Mark, longtime fan. I used to be in radio myself,
- 4:29Speaker 5: of course, not of your stature. But my Neil Sabaka
- 4:31Speaker 5: story is I'm on the station in Monticello, New York,
- 4:35Speaker 5: wsu well and one day I had the station, the
- 4:38Speaker 5: booth was in the window and a car pulls up
- 4:41Speaker 5: and I see Neil Sadaka get out and it turned
- 4:44Speaker 5: out to be with his daughter Dara, and they motioned
- 4:47Speaker 5: to me come in. We were brought him in. Next thing,
- 4:50Speaker 5: you know, I'm interviewing them and they were trying in
- 4:53Speaker 5: Toduce the Circle should have never let you go. And
- 4:56Speaker 5: I believe they had an album and it was very nice,
- 4:58Speaker 5: very interesting. He was very nice guy. But the punchline
- 5:01Speaker 5: to my story is a year or two lute here,
- 5:04Speaker 5: I am not in radio in those days, and I'm
- 5:06Speaker 5: driving limousines. It's a company called sh Wire. Who am
- 5:09Speaker 5: I picking up?
- 5:10Speaker 2: Neil?
- 5:11Speaker 5: Yeah? Who marked old family a few times. But he
- 5:14Speaker 5: lived in Brighton Beach, I believe before he made it
- 5:17Speaker 5: back with Sadaka's back album. I believe. And that's my story. Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 5: hell of a nice guy.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Your radio station was Monticello, that's the Catskills, and that's
- 5:26Speaker 2: where he began in the Catskills. Yeah right, MATI right,
- 5:30Speaker 2: all right, Well thanks for calling and take care. Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 2: He began at the Catskill Hotels and the owner of
- 5:37Speaker 2: the hotel had this daughter, Liba, who Sadaka fell in
- 5:40Speaker 2: love with. They then got married. They were married all
- 5:43Speaker 2: this time. She was the love of his life. Liba Sadaka, Hey,
- 5:47Speaker 2: when we come back and Coulter will be with us next.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Normally she's on Wednesday. This week, we moved it to Monday,
- 5:52Speaker 2: and we'll talk to her next on seven to ten
- 5:55Speaker 2: w o r.
