- 0:33Speaker 1: Good morning? How are you? Good morning?
- 0:34Speaker 2: I'm good, but I have brain fog this morning, So
- 0:36Speaker 2: I'm just gonna throw that out there so that you
- 0:38Speaker 2: guys are aware, not that I haven't had it a
- 0:40Speaker 2: little bit this week.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Is this a warning?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but this is a warning. I do have a
- 0:44Speaker 2: pretty severe brain fog today.
- 0:45Speaker 1: When you say brain fogg, do you mean you're in
- 0:47Speaker 1: a bad mood?
- 0:48Speaker 3: Is it?
- 0:48Speaker 5: No?
- 0:49Speaker 2: I just mean like my head feels stopped up and
- 0:51Speaker 2: like cloudy. Do you guys have that or is it
- 0:53Speaker 2: just like women's hormones?
- 0:55Speaker 1: No, I mean I have that. I think I have
- 0:56Speaker 1: that sometimes, not all the time.
- 0:57Speaker 4: But I didn't know if you were just in a
- 0:59Speaker 4: bad mood or if they there's different warning signals.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I send out for different things.
- 1:02Speaker 2: No, I could be in a bad mood at any second.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So there it is.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, exactly.
- 1:07Speaker 4: So I just wanted to let you guys know I
- 1:09Speaker 4: signaled the Metroplex.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Everybody knows, stay out of your way.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Okay. What I learned yesterday too that I am the
- 1:15Speaker 2: worst about updating or uploading my phone, like all my
- 1:18Speaker 2: pictures to the cloud. Do you guys do that regularly?
- 1:21Speaker 1: I think to do it on its own.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, it does it automatically and then it just sinks up.
- 1:25Speaker 4: And yeah, I don't know how.
- 1:26Speaker 2: To get to the cloud though, if I wanted to
- 1:28Speaker 2: know why, Yeah, because a friend of mine texted me
- 1:31Speaker 2: yesterday and she was like, oh my god, I just
- 1:33Speaker 2: went through my storage and I found an old iPhone
- 1:36Speaker 2: that you gave me, she said, like fifteen years ago,
- 1:39Speaker 2: and I'm likely I don't remember giving you an old phone.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I don't okay, get to the cloud either, But you
- 1:43Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 1:43Speaker 4: So you're talking about stuff that hasn't showed up, is
- 1:46Speaker 4: not on your phone right now?
- 1:47Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:47Speaker 1: I don't know. I have no idea.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well, she told me I gave her this old
- 1:51Speaker 2: iPhone and she's able to take the photos off and
- 1:53Speaker 2: like her fiance put them onto a hard drive for me,
- 1:56Speaker 2: and she wants to send it to me because she's like,
- 1:58Speaker 2: there's thousands of pictures of us.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Like back in the phone or the cloud on the
- 2:02Speaker 1: old phone. Oh well then who knows if it's in
- 2:04Speaker 1: the cloud, right.
- 2:05Speaker 2: But I would have no access to these photos if
- 2:08Speaker 2: she hadn't found this old iPhone.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 2:10Speaker 2: So then she starts sending me pictures of like, there's
- 2:13Speaker 2: some of us, the three of us, there's some of
- 2:15Speaker 2: like some of our friends, and like really, yeah, i'll
- 2:18Speaker 2: show you some later. But I'm like, thank god she
- 2:20Speaker 2: has these photos and they're not like on social media
- 2:23Speaker 2: or like in anyone else's property.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Because social media.
- 2:26Speaker 2: They're pretty, they're pretty interesting photos.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Are they bad? You're freaking me out.
- 2:30Speaker 2: No, they're not bad. They're just like, you know, fun photos,
- 2:33Speaker 2: Like you know, you have fun photos in your phone
- 2:35Speaker 2: that don't make social media.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It didn't make my screen only it's like that.
- 2:39Speaker 2: But she has thousands of them.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, we'll get those. I want to see them.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah, she's going to send them, so we'll do a
- 2:45Speaker 2: slide show.
- 2:45Speaker 4: And then I got to figure out how to get
- 2:47Speaker 4: in the cloud because I have so many things in
- 2:49Speaker 4: my cloud.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I know you should check because you might find some
- 2:51Speaker 2: gems in there.
- 2:52Speaker 1: All right, let me check it out. How to get
- 2:54Speaker 1: in your cloud? No I don't.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Okay, no one does.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Then good?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Good to know.
- 2:59Speaker 1: All right.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Oh, I think I'm at war with a neighbor of
- 3:02Speaker 6: mine in my apartments like three doors down like the band.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Yeah, let me tell you what.
- 3:08Speaker 6: Like last week, some Crumble cookies turned up at my door,
- 3:13Speaker 6: you know, and I was like, okay, I could eat them.
- 3:17Speaker 6: I could eat them. But I was like, you know what,
- 3:18Speaker 6: I just took them to the front office.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Were they not yours? No, they weren't mine, because I
- 3:25Speaker 1: would have no.
- 3:26Speaker 6: No, it had a little sticker and it said thanks something.
- 3:29Speaker 4: You know.
- 3:29Speaker 6: I had a little memo or whatever or whatever. So
- 3:32Speaker 6: I just took them to the front office left them
- 3:34Speaker 6: in there.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Right, it's a good thing. I don't believe you, but
- 3:37Speaker 1: that's cool.
- 3:37Speaker 6: So yesterday, yesterday I ordered some some chilies and.
- 3:43Speaker 4: I was like, okay, DoorDash chilis Yeah, Doorash, get your
- 3:46Speaker 4: life together.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It wasn't just for me I had. It was me
- 3:49Speaker 1: and the boys. I had the boys or whatever. So
- 3:51Speaker 1: I waited. I was like, wow, I didn't come or whatever.
- 3:54Speaker 6: And and then so we left, walked down the street,
- 3:57Speaker 6: came back and I didn't see it. And I went
- 4:00Speaker 6: to the I passed by the office going to get
- 4:03Speaker 6: my mail, and I see my chilies in the front office,
- 4:07Speaker 6: and thank god the least the lady. She was like, yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 6: it got dropped off. Your neighbor dropped it off. And
- 4:12Speaker 6: I was like, man, they could have just looked. How
- 4:15Speaker 6: did they get my chilis?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Wait a minute, because I know that the same exact thing, right,
- 4:19Speaker 4: But I specifically put my apartment number, you know what
- 4:22Speaker 4: I mean.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I just think I just think that they're being shady.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I really do. If they were being shady, they would
- 4:27Speaker 1: have eaten it. I'm so confuriosed.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Well I didn't eat their crumble, but I'm just saying, well,
- 4:31Speaker 6: you didn't know it was their doorda. Okay, And here's
- 4:33Speaker 6: another thing. DoorDash sent me a picture. It was in
- 4:36Speaker 6: front of it set my apartment number. So how did
- 4:39Speaker 6: it end up?
- 4:40Speaker 4: But they don't see the door dash. Who don't see
- 4:43Speaker 4: the door door, doesn't see the DoorDash. They just see
- 4:45Speaker 4: it dropped off, right, That's what.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I'm saying, how did my food end up in the
- 4:49Speaker 1: front office?
- 4:50Speaker 6: They took my food when they the least of the
- 4:52Speaker 6: agent told me that they brought it down there, and
- 4:54Speaker 6: I was like.
- 4:54Speaker 4: They brought it down because they don't see your door dash.
- 4:57Speaker 4: They don't know what apartment they were supposed to go to.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Okay, okay, you're not following me, because now I'm not
- 5:03Speaker 6: going crazy. It was in front of my apartment. My
- 5:06Speaker 6: food got delivered to my party.
- 5:07Speaker 2: See your apartment number on the photos?
- 5:09Speaker 4: Oh yes, No, wait, you're saying yes when door dash
- 5:13Speaker 4: is welcome to a Pooh story.
- 5:15Speaker 1: No, when door das can't figure them out. When door
- 5:18Speaker 1: day Pooh, I get it.
- 5:19Speaker 4: I can't figure out your story because it's so confusing.
- 5:22Speaker 4: It's like taking a flight. This is what I say
- 5:24Speaker 4: when Pooh starts selling the story. Say you got to
- 5:27Speaker 4: go to Houston, right, you get on a flight at
- 5:30Speaker 4: Southwest and you just go to Houston from Dallas, not
- 5:33Speaker 4: Pooh A Pooh story goes to Salt Lake City, to Seattle,
- 5:39Speaker 4: right to Oklahoma City.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Oh, now we're going to Houston. No Miami.
- 5:44Speaker 2: If we were to take your neighbor to Canna's court,
- 5:46Speaker 2: what would you take them to Canna's court for taking.
- 5:48Speaker 1: My door dash and putting it in the front office.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I think they're just being shady because.
- 5:52Speaker 4: The way you're saying, they stole your order put it
- 5:55Speaker 4: in the Yeah, I think they did it on purpose.
- 5:57Speaker 4: They stole your order from in front of your house, yes,
- 6:00Speaker 4: and put it in and then took it to the office.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Why that had to be a reasonable explanation. I
- 6:06Speaker 1: know they did because they because they So.
- 6:08Speaker 4: You got a picture from door dash of your food
- 6:10Speaker 4: in front of your house, Well.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It was in between mine and thirteen oh six, like,
- 6:15Speaker 1: but it was mine. It was mine because there's a.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Door right there, right, So why wudn't they just leave
- 6:19Speaker 2: it there and let you figure out?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Can you do me a favor?
- 6:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Tell you? Can you remind me never to ask how
- 6:24Speaker 1: Puo's doing again?
- 6:28Speaker 6: Because that person was complaining to the least an agent
- 6:33Speaker 6: about the crumble cookies that I turned in.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So I think, no, we don't.
- 6:38Speaker 2: They got mad because you put the crumble cookies in
- 6:40Speaker 2: the front office. Yeah, but what was there no apartment?
- 6:44Speaker 6: They were acting like they were acting like I took
- 6:46Speaker 6: their their order and.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Just listen this only a four hour show, Thank you
- 6:53Speaker 4: so much. All I know is I'm not eating chilies
- 6:56Speaker 4: ever again because in this story?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Do you owe me a Triple Dipper for to this nonsense?
- 7:05Speaker 5: What?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Okay? I'm exhausted.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Top stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Do you want to go to Disneyland? We got a
- 7:20Speaker 4: shock coming up next. We're doing Summer Wine a trip
- 7:22Speaker 4: on us. Make it happen, Candice Lopez, what is going on?
- 7:25Speaker 2: I'm got an update on forty ID and some things
- 7:27Speaker 2: we heard a few months ago. The former principal at
- 7:30Speaker 2: Crosby Elementary School has been arrested. So investigators say she
- 7:34Speaker 2: agreed to hire a special education teacher she knew had
- 7:38Speaker 2: serious issues in other school districts only if he changed
- 7:42Speaker 2: his name. So, if you remember back in May, this
- 7:45Speaker 2: was the man who was charged with two counts of
- 7:47Speaker 2: injury to a child in one count of child grooming. He's,
- 7:51Speaker 2: by the way, still in the Kaufman County jail, but
- 7:53Speaker 2: he had been previously removed from a job with Dallas ISD,
- 7:57Speaker 2: lost a job in Detton ID all before his role
- 8:01Speaker 2: in Forny ID so just so much drama that has
- 8:05Speaker 2: just happened in Forny ID over this principle and this man.
- 8:08Speaker 1: She got arrested.
- 8:09Speaker 2: She got arrested as well because they were able to
- 8:12Speaker 2: find phone and email records showing that she knew you
- 8:16Speaker 2: know about this man's past.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And do you do that? How do you know that? Like,
- 8:21Speaker 1: this person is not a.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Good person, right, serious allegations and things that parents were
- 8:25Speaker 2: able to uncover in other districts showing that he had
- 8:28Speaker 2: been arrested before for misconduct, serious misconduct with students.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'll hire you if you change her if you change
- 8:35Speaker 1: your name.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So he was able to you know, pass background
- 8:37Speaker 2: checks and things like that. How I still don't know,
- 8:41Speaker 2: but thankfully they finally got to the bottom of that
- 8:43Speaker 2: and hopefully this you know, can be in the past
- 8:46Speaker 2: in Forny ID going into a new school year.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Good for them, because you think it'd be you know,
- 8:50Speaker 4: traced by your Social Security number and not you're just
- 8:53Speaker 4: a name that you could.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Just make Wow.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, really really scary and interesting story out of
- 8:58Speaker 2: Forny Uh, guys, this is a interesting as well. A
- 9:00Speaker 2: SpaceX rocket crashed into the moon this morning after spending
- 9:04Speaker 2: over a year drifting through space. This was expected to happen,
- 9:08Speaker 2: though The eighty eight hundred pound booster hit the surface
- 9:11Speaker 2: of the Moon about fifty four hundred miles per hour.
- 9:14Speaker 2: They're saying it likely left a crater about sixty feet
- 9:17Speaker 2: wide and twelve feet deep. This crash wasn't visible from Earth,
- 9:22Speaker 2: but before and after images it should come out in
- 9:24Speaker 2: just a few weeks. NASA says this could provide valuable
- 9:27Speaker 2: scientific data about the Moon's surface and possible ice underneath
- 9:31Speaker 2: the surface of the Moon. Like, yeah, it was weird
- 9:34Speaker 2: to hear a SpaceX rocket just crashes into the Moon.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Everybody was like, oh, that was cool. I'm like, this
- 9:39Speaker 1: is not cool.
- 9:41Speaker 2: It's interesting, for sure, But at first I thought it
- 9:43Speaker 2: just did it, you know, accidentally.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Well I thought it did too. Oh big.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Well they expected it to happen, Well.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Yeah, they but they didn't want it to but they
- 9:51Speaker 4: didn't stop it.
- 9:51Speaker 2: But now we can research underneath the surface.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Something's weird.
- 9:56Speaker 2: It's really interesting.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Well yeah, and what if okay, this time it's the Moon,
- 9:59Speaker 4: what if one's coming towards us.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah, well surely they can re rout right.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I don't know, no, because it was out of control.
- 10:05Speaker 4: From what I understand, the thing was just loose and
- 10:07Speaker 4: it was there's so much trash in our space.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that it's the base junk.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, space junk is a major problem.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 4: So what happens when it loops around all of a
- 10:15Speaker 4: sudden it's headed towards us, and then I got to
- 10:17Speaker 4: go up there and shoot it down with it.
- 10:19Speaker 2: We have a way to intercept it. Yeah, I would
- 10:21Speaker 2: think to reroute it, send.
- 10:23Speaker 4: To space, bust it out, star Wars, you know what.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Po go up there and just tell them your Chili story.
- 10:29Speaker 4: So they re route and.
- 10:30Speaker 1: They don't want to come to this planet. Guys.
- 10:36Speaker 2: The Hallmark Channel just announced their new Holiday Touchdown movie,
- 10:40Speaker 2: So this time they're partnering with the Chicago Bears. So
- 10:44Speaker 2: the two movies before this were based around Buffalo and
- 10:46Speaker 2: Kansas City. Do you remember Holiday Touchdown A Bears A
- 10:50Speaker 2: Bears Love Story is the new one had just finished
- 10:53Speaker 2: filming at Soldier Field, but there aren't any details out
- 10:55Speaker 2: about the plot. But just like the first to it
- 10:58Speaker 2: is going to incorporate the team's charitable side with Bear's care,
- 11:02Speaker 2: so it will highlight some of the work that they
- 11:03Speaker 2: do in Chicago. This movie will premiere this fall as
- 11:06Speaker 2: part of Hallmark's annual countdown to Christmas. But yeah, the
- 11:11Speaker 2: Holiday Touchdown Chiefs Love Story, that one was interesting.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Oh it was so good. Yeah, it was so good.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 5: No.
- 11:20Speaker 2: The only way I'm watching a Buffalo love story.
- 11:22Speaker 1: The only way I'm watching a Hallmark movie is if
- 11:23Speaker 1: your husband Eric's in it. Okay, thank you, or if
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's about the cowboys.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, why aren't we doing a holiday touchdown? You know
- 11:29Speaker 2: a Dallas.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Loves so Jerry will sue them if.
- 11:31Speaker 2: He agree, Okay, Jerry, well then pay pay up.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so we can afford some curtains. That's the stadium.
- 11:39Speaker 2: That's how we'll get it if we do a Hallmark movie. Yes,
- 11:43Speaker 2: I like that theory. All right, I'm Candaslopez. Those are
- 11:45Speaker 2: your Texas top stories.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You've got a chance to go to Disneyland.
- 11:49Speaker 4: We're doing Summer wan and make sure you listen on
- 11:51Speaker 4: the tens every hour all day, so we'll do it
- 11:53Speaker 4: again at like seven ten. I'm mixed one on two
- 11:55Speaker 4: point nine. Good morning, it's bailing a kid. Candas Lopez
- 11:58Speaker 4: is her producer, who is here.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Let's get you in.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Got a four pack of tickets to Ringling brothers and
- 12:02Speaker 4: Barnum and Bailey coming to town.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Who's this, Carlos? Carlos?
- 12:06Speaker 5: What up?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Loves what? Hey? Guess what you're calling? Number one bro?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Big?
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I Carlos. Did you just wake up?
- 12:21Speaker 4: No, I've been since like five in the morning.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh really, what do you do? Okay? All right, Carlos
- 12:27Speaker 1: in this heat too? Oh yeah, you need you need
- 12:29Speaker 1: these tickets. Yeah, I've been.

- 12:33Speaker 1: Good, good, that'll be a good time.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Then.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Where you from? A awesome man?
- 12:39Speaker 4: Well?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Thank you working outside today? Where are you at? I'm
- 12:42Speaker 1: inside actually building? Oh good? Oh cool?

- 12:51Speaker 1: We appreciate you. You hold on Los all right, man.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I don't know how people do.
- 12:55Speaker 4: I was driving by someone doing construction like a crew
- 12:58Speaker 4: outside yesterday. Yeah, and I thought to myself, if I
- 13:01Speaker 4: had to do that, I couldn't. I would be homeless
- 13:04Speaker 4: because I wouldn't have a job. I would be living
- 13:06Speaker 4: under the bridge. I mean, shout out to everybody working
- 13:10Speaker 4: outside in this heat, miserable, So we appreciate you.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Whatever it is.
- 13:14Speaker 4: I don't care if you're a garbage man on the
- 13:16Speaker 4: back of the truck the other day. I see this
- 13:17Speaker 4: guy's sweating, yeah, picking up trash my man? All right, yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 4: thank you? Real or fake news? Are you ready for it?
- 13:24Speaker 4: I gonna give you three headlines. You gotta tell me
- 13:26Speaker 4: which one is fake. Headline number one. Man accidentally buys
- 13:31Speaker 4: his own stolen lawnmower at police auction. Man accidentally buys
- 13:37Speaker 4: his own stolen lawnmower at police auction. Headline number one.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Headline number two. New fingerprint bra unlocks only for partner?
- 13:48Speaker 4: What new fingerprint bra unlocks only for partner?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Okay?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Headline at number three.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Man arrested for dressing up as the Grim Reaper on
- 14:00Speaker 4: a hospital roof and staring at the patients.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Man arrested for dressing up as the Grim Reaper on
- 14:08Speaker 4: a hospital roof and staring at the patients. You got
- 14:12Speaker 4: three headlines right there. One of them is fake. You
- 14:15Speaker 4: gotta tell me which one. I will start with you.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Candace. You I think you finally won yesterday.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I did win yesterday, finally.
- 14:21Speaker 4: You could take it and you can guess first, or
- 14:23Speaker 4: you could pass it to La Poo poo and he
- 14:25Speaker 4: could take.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Over and go first. Whatever you want to do, it's
- 14:27Speaker 1: your choice, all right, I'm.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Gonna pass it to La poo poo today. All right,
- 14:31Speaker 2: got pooh?
- 14:32Speaker 1: Which one's fake?
- 14:32Speaker 4: Poo?
- 14:33Speaker 6: Well, I'm gonna go with that second story about the fingerprint.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Bra Okay, fingerprint, bro, let's lock it in. You don't
- 14:41Speaker 1: think there's a new fingerprint print.
- 14:43Speaker 6: I know there's AI chat, GBT and all that stuff,
- 14:45Speaker 6: but I don't think technologies that advance okay recognition.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that.
- 14:53Speaker 4: It's locked in, all right, Candae Lopez? Which one do
- 14:55Speaker 4: you think is fake?
- 14:57Speaker 6: Me?
- 14:57Speaker 2: For that last story? The grim Reaper, reapers everything about
- 15:00Speaker 2: this story, so I just really hope it's fake.
- 15:02Speaker 1: All right, let's lock that in. You think that's the
- 15:04Speaker 1: fake story?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 15:06Speaker 1: The winner today is.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Me.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I can't believe it. I actually win.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Sometimes if you both missed the fake story, and that
- 15:22Speaker 4: fake story was the first. One man accidentally buys his
- 15:24Speaker 4: own stolen lawnmower at a police auction, which I could
- 15:28Speaker 4: picture it happening.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess, But like if they're police, can they
- 15:32Speaker 2: figure out that was your stolen lawn?
- 15:33Speaker 1: I don't know, but I used to love going to
- 15:36Speaker 1: police auctions. Really have you ever been to one? Oh,
- 15:39Speaker 1: it's so cool. You can get stuffered stuffed. Yeah, it's
- 15:42Speaker 1: like usually stuff that they recovered it.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yes, no one claims it where they confiscated it from
- 15:46Speaker 4: like a criminal. So then you get to buy it. Whoa,
- 15:49Speaker 4: you get cars for cheap? I used to get bikes
- 15:50Speaker 4: for cheap, Get like brand new bikes for like twenty bucks.
- 15:54Speaker 2: No kidding?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, wow, you gotta try that.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Check it out with if they still do them. They
- 15:59Speaker 6: used to do it off, but they don't do it
- 16:00Speaker 6: anymore as far as I know.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know what they do with it. Who knows?
- 16:08Speaker 1: That is the fake story the real stories. Jeez, let's
- 16:12Speaker 1: just get this one out of the way. Yeah.
- 16:14Speaker 4: I hate this story because it's awful. Man arrested for
- 16:18Speaker 4: dressing up as the Grim Reaper on a hospital roof
- 16:21Speaker 4: and staring at patients. I don't know why, somebody, why, why?
- 16:27Speaker 4: Why would you do this to people? A twenty six
- 16:29Speaker 4: year old man in Wales caused a scare. He climbed
- 16:33Speaker 4: onto the hospital roof and he was dressed as a
- 16:35Speaker 4: Grim Reaper and he stood there and just looked at
- 16:37Speaker 4: people in the windows.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh my, that's so wrong. I don't get it. His
- 16:42Speaker 1: name is Leon.
- 16:43Speaker 4: He spent nearly an hour and a half on the
- 16:45Speaker 4: roof staring at patients, visitors, and staff while wearing an
- 16:48Speaker 4: all black, hooded outfit and carrying what looked like to
- 16:51Speaker 4: be a long blade like the Grim Reaper carries. And
- 16:54Speaker 4: he also made noises at people too below that we're
- 16:57Speaker 4: walking below, Like, yeah, exactly, Candace, that is exactly what
- 17:05Speaker 4: he did.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, when I looked it up, I'm.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I'm sure.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Four police cars and fire crews responded before bringing him down,
- 17:15Speaker 4: And yeah, he got arrested. He pleaded guilty already for
- 17:18Speaker 4: a nuisance and he was fine, so it's not like
- 17:20Speaker 4: he went to jail.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But like, why are you doing that?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 17:23Speaker 4: I bet it's someone just trying to be famous, trying
- 17:25Speaker 4: to do some stupid for TikTok or some dumb something dumb.
- 17:30Speaker 4: And it's just frustrating because it's like these are people,
- 17:32Speaker 4: because I would freak out, boy, you ain't lying if
- 17:35Speaker 4: I'm in the hospital and say I'm there for like
- 17:37Speaker 4: a broken thumb or something, right, And all of a sudden,
- 17:39Speaker 4: I see the Grim reefit like, it's just my yeah,
- 17:44Speaker 4: oh my god, you want to hear awful, but this
- 17:47Speaker 4: is my add just kicked in. So I have a
- 17:50Speaker 4: friend I don't want to say his name, an amazing guy,
- 17:53Speaker 4: such a good father, such a good family man. He
- 17:56Speaker 4: had to have his kidney removed because he had a
- 17:58Speaker 4: tumor on his kidney. Right, so they had to send
- 18:00Speaker 4: it off for a biopsy.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Right.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I hit him up. I'm like, you're good. How's it going.
- 18:05Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, everything went well. I'm recovering.
- 18:07Speaker 4: But the problem is I don't know if I have
- 18:09Speaker 4: if it's cancerous or not because they.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Lost my tumor. What what? No, this really happened.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 18:17Speaker 1: They lost my friend's tumor. Yeah, what kind of cure
- 18:21Speaker 1: your service did that?
- 18:22Speaker 4: Now he's like, now I got to go back to
- 18:24Speaker 4: the hospital like a few times a year to make
- 18:26Speaker 4: sure that it's not cancerous or I don't have it
- 18:29Speaker 4: come on because they can't find his tumor. No, it
- 18:33Speaker 4: was huge and they took out of his body. They
- 18:35Speaker 4: don't know what they did with it. How do you
- 18:37Speaker 4: explain that?
- 18:38Speaker 2: I have no idea?
- 18:39Speaker 1: Like what is going on?
- 18:40Speaker 2: Oh awful?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Isn't that scary?
- 18:43Speaker 4: I felt so bad from my mic I hope you
- 18:45Speaker 4: get a lawyer everybody either way. The other story, other
- 18:50Speaker 4: story that's real is a fingerprint bra that unlocks only
- 18:54Speaker 4: for your partner. A Japanese student has engineered a bra
- 19:00Speaker 4: that uses biometric fingerprint technology and it only opens when
- 19:04Speaker 4: touched by the woman or her registered lover.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Can you imagine you have.
- 19:13Speaker 4: To like sign up for it, then you have to
- 19:14Speaker 4: register your fingerprint okay, and then frisky time they're like, oh,
- 19:19Speaker 4: just scan here, Oh my gosh, denied and you're like, wait,
- 19:24Speaker 4: what happened?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Oh sorry, I still have my X in there.
- 19:29Speaker 4: That's Mix one O two point nine, Ability Kid, Candice
- 19:31Speaker 4: loow Pants producer Pooh and Duncanville.
- 19:33Speaker 1: By the way, no phones this year.
- 19:35Speaker 2: They're going in the pouches.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Congrats, ingrats, right, ingrats. Nothing that's miserable.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Probably mad about those pouches.
- 19:44Speaker 1: No, I'm an adult. It's a good thing. Yeah it is.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Talk to each other, have fun.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Yeah, talk to you.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Sounds miserable, but try it. So I almost died yesterday
- 19:52Speaker 4: in the pool. And can ye remember when you were laughing?
- 19:54Speaker 4: I forgot Yeah, we were talking about it and you
- 19:56Speaker 4: were like, oh my god.
- 19:57Speaker 1: So funny. That was hysterical. I can't belie if you
- 20:00Speaker 1: didn't you almost died. That's funny.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Cannice Lopez Show now loading, now loading. I don't remember
- 20:08Speaker 4: almost dying in the pool before.
- 20:09Speaker 2: No, not in the pool.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I went through a whole event yesterday that had me.
- 20:14Speaker 4: I'm just trying to relax on wine. I've been working
- 20:18Speaker 4: out a lot. I've been trying. My body's shutting down
- 20:20Speaker 4: because it's so sore. So I go outside and I
- 20:23Speaker 4: do dumbbells and push ups. I like doing it in
- 20:25Speaker 4: the heat, which is kind of weird. So I'm like, well,
- 20:28Speaker 4: then it hop in the pool. But the pool is
- 20:29Speaker 4: kind of warm.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Anyway, it's like weird because it's so hot out.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:32Speaker 4: So anyways, I worked out a little bit and I
- 20:34Speaker 4: got in the pool and as I go to get
- 20:37Speaker 4: on the floaty my worst nightmare, there's a massive spider
- 20:42Speaker 4: on the floating.
- 20:43Speaker 1: No, like a massive dude spider. So I'm like, oh God,
- 20:49Speaker 1: what are you laughing at?
- 20:50Speaker 7: Poo?
- 20:50Speaker 1: I mean, what are you gonna do? I don't love them.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I don't love them. He loves spiders?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Why exactly?
- 20:57Speaker 4: Oh, it's the thing online I see people making friends
- 20:59Speaker 4: with spots and I'm like why, like, no, uh uh.
- 21:03Speaker 1: So I'm sitting yeah.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Thank you get the series music dramatic.
- 21:06Speaker 4: So I'm sitting there and I'm like, now what do
- 21:08Speaker 4: I do, Like it's a whole thing. Does this spider swim?
- 21:12Speaker 4: Because if it swims and it comes after me, I'm
- 21:13Speaker 4: not I'm Michael Phelps. I'm not getting away. So or
- 21:17Speaker 4: do I smash it? Because people are like, oh no,
- 21:19Speaker 4: I take my spiders outside, No I smash them.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Swim they can yeah, yeah, of course one of them can.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Guess what happens.
- 21:27Speaker 4: So I'm sitting there and I'm like, I'm just gonna
- 21:29Speaker 4: float him to the side of the pool and maybe
- 21:32Speaker 4: he can just get out on the wall and leave.
- 21:35Speaker 4: You know, you're not, so I'm right, like, it's almost
- 21:39Speaker 4: like you're on a cruise. This is this is Fort Lauderdale.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Time to get off.
- 21:45Speaker 4: So I'm like, all right, I'm gonna push him slowly
- 21:49Speaker 4: to the side of the pool. As I start to
- 21:51Speaker 4: do that, my worst nightmare happens. He jumps at me.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my no.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Is there anything more terrifying than a jumping spider?
- 22:06Speaker 4: And right before I saw him I thought, this looks
- 22:09Speaker 4: like a brown recluse. Oh, I feel like every spider
- 22:12Speaker 4: looks like a brown recluse.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Though they all I don't like they hang in wooded areas. Well,
- 22:18Speaker 1: there's woods by me.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Gross. So anyway, so this thing boing comes at me. No,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I do what any grown man does.
- 22:31Speaker 2: What's that?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Freak out and go underwater.
- 22:35Speaker 2: The hold breath underwater contest by yourself.
- 22:39Speaker 4: So I'm thinking to myself, like I can't go, Like,
- 22:41Speaker 4: I gotta get away.
- 22:42Speaker 1: So I swim to the deep end.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Yeah, but as I go back, I realized that you
- 22:46Speaker 4: know how when you swim away from something, you create
- 22:49Speaker 4: like a suction. Oh yeah, it's right there. It's almost
- 22:53Speaker 4: I can almost see it coming at me. Yeah, So
- 22:56Speaker 4: that I'm like, I know it touched me. So then
- 22:58Speaker 4: I'm I'm analyzed and my whole body because I'm like,
- 23:02Speaker 4: it definitely bit me.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Oh cool, but you didn't feel it. You didn't feel
- 23:06Speaker 1: it bite you though.
- 23:07Speaker 6: But you don't always feel it, you know if a
- 23:09Speaker 6: brown recluse mind, but you don't.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Sometimes you wake up with a spider bite and you're like,
- 23:13Speaker 1: how that happened recently? Yeah, but you'll have puss pockets. Dude,
- 23:18Speaker 1: you'll know who.
- 23:19Speaker 4: It doesn't happen right away. It takes a minute before
- 23:22Speaker 4: you know what I mean. So I'm like, I know,
- 23:25Speaker 4: I know it bit me. Oh so then I'm like
- 23:27Speaker 4: looking all over my body to make sure that it
- 23:30Speaker 4: didn't bite me.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Then I find a little dot and I'm like, that's
- 23:33Speaker 1: where it.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Got a little dot?
- 23:37Speaker 1: No?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Was it red?
- 23:38Speaker 1: Yes? Okay?
- 23:40Speaker 4: But then I'm on chat GBT like how long do
- 23:42Speaker 4: I have and what kind of spider was it? Then
- 23:46Speaker 4: I start googling the data.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I yeah, oh I wasted so much water of course? Yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 1: where was triggered when you were doing that?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Sitting in the deep end just laughing, and my dog
- 24:01Speaker 4: is literally sitting on a like a step in the deepense,
- 24:04Speaker 4: just looking at me, like what.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Is going on? I wish I could go in because
- 24:08Speaker 1: I know. So it turns out that was I think
- 24:11Speaker 1: it was just a mosquito bite.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Oh this guy almost.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Almost yeah, yeah, okay, I almost.
- 24:19Speaker 4: I mean I had to get out of the pool, yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 4: because I couldn't find the spider. Okay, I'm looking in
- 24:23Speaker 4: the skimmers, I'm looking every I don't see them. I
- 24:27Speaker 4: don't they can swim, they can jump. What else can
- 24:29Speaker 4: they do? May carry a handgun. I don't know who
- 24:32Speaker 4: who knows what's going on, But I still don't know
- 24:34Speaker 4: if it was a brown recluse or not show me picture, Candis.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I just deleted it because it was so gross. Here,
- 24:39Speaker 2: I'll go back.
- 24:39Speaker 1: You're disappointed.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Ew that was it? That was like real skinny in
- 24:46Speaker 2: their bodies, real big.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Yeah, looks like poo.
- 24:51Speaker 5: The New Mixed one.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Or two point nine tough stories on the tents with
- 24:56Speaker 3: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Only on the New Mixed one or two point I
- 25:00Speaker 5: can well.
- 25:02Speaker 2: A salmonella outbreak linked to jalapeno peppers has been expanded
- 25:05Speaker 2: to twenty seven states, including Texas. So Chipotle and Qudoba.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Is that how you say that restaurant?
- 25:12Speaker 5: Uh?
- 25:12Speaker 2: They actually pulled jalapenos from their restaurants yesterday because of
- 25:16Speaker 2: concerns about this. The CDC and FDA are investigating the outbreak,
- 25:21Speaker 2: but say they don't consider there to be an ongoing
- 25:23Speaker 2: risk from either of these restaurants. Just so you know,
- 25:27Speaker 2: another day, another outbreak, like stop it? What's going on
- 25:30Speaker 2: the head up?
- 25:31Speaker 1: At least?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah for sure, guys. Owners of newer BMW's are complaining
- 25:35Speaker 2: because they say they're getting ads for the New Spider
- 25:38Speaker 2: Man movie on their dashboards.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Guys, that's wild. You're going to watch an ad before
- 25:44Speaker 1: I can drive?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Well, they're saying a banner ad for the movie shows
- 25:48Speaker 2: up when they start their cars. You actually have to
- 25:50Speaker 2: click on it to see the full ad. But people
- 25:52Speaker 2: are still saying, you know, this is too much.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Uh.
- 25:55Speaker 2: It takes over the full screen and the main control display.
- 25:59Speaker 2: So the full ad a nineteen second animation with music.
- 26:02Speaker 2: It's got a light show that syncs up through the
- 26:04Speaker 2: car's ambient lighting system, which that's pretty cool. But it
- 26:08Speaker 2: can do that, but I should be able to tell
- 26:10Speaker 2: you if I want that.
- 26:11Speaker 4: A little invasive, but yeah, yeah, I mean I guess
- 26:13Speaker 4: if it's cool, I'll watch it.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's no skip for the banner ad.
- 26:17Speaker 2: That's the big issue. But this is supposed to be
- 26:19Speaker 2: happening through August tenth. But what a weird thing. You
- 26:22Speaker 2: start your car and just see what's his name, Tom Holland? Yeah, yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 2: very strange, guys. The Safe Fair of Texas just announced
- 26:29Speaker 2: their finalists for the twenty twenty six Big Text Choice Awards.
- 26:33Speaker 2: So you know the categories are Best Taste Savory Sweet sipper,
- 26:37Speaker 2: and then they have most Creative. They had more entries
- 26:41Speaker 2: this year than ever before, seventy seven entries from forty
- 26:45Speaker 2: six concessionaires. So the top fifteen finalists are moving on
- 26:48Speaker 2: to you do you just want like a little taste
- 26:50Speaker 2: of what's to come?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Couple?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Okay, So in the savory category, here's one that stood
- 26:55Speaker 2: out to me, the Flame and Crunch pizza. So it's
- 26:58Speaker 2: a pizza top with how opinion of cheddar quaeso and
- 27:01Speaker 2: then flame it hot cheetos on top with a buffalo
- 27:04Speaker 2: buttermilk ranch dressing it.
- 27:06Speaker 5: To me, they have that.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Another option is the Nacho Wings, which is basically what
- 27:10Speaker 2: it sounds chicken wings top with like nacho stuff served
- 27:14Speaker 2: on a bed of hot fries and drizzled also with ranch.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm so excited, man. Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Here's some things in the sweet category. This is my
- 27:21Speaker 2: favorite category. Ferdie's Frozen Espresso TEENI Bar. It's an espresso
- 27:26Speaker 2: martini popsicle. I think this one's gonna be good. The
- 27:29Speaker 2: Fletcher's Chocolate Corny Dog. It's basically what it sounds like, Wow,
- 27:33Speaker 2: smooth milk chocolate fudge. They hand it it in Fletcher's
- 27:36Speaker 2: famous corny dog batter and then top it with icing.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll take it.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I know, and then real quick. In the sipper category,
- 27:42Speaker 2: there's a Sunset softser Rita, a corn Flake chape, Russo's
- 27:48Speaker 2: Bacon Jam, Carmel Apple Hardsider. That's gonna be a strong
- 27:51Speaker 2: contender because Russo is big every year. You're gonna be
- 27:55Speaker 2: judging this year.
- 27:56Speaker 4: That's why I'm so excited. I'm honored. Yeah, I'm excited
- 27:58Speaker 4: and I'm gonna eat everything.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Yes, the winners will be announced Tuesday, August eighteenth. I'm
- 28:04Speaker 2: Kandos Lopez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 28:07Speaker 4: We have to do the Banger mixed one or two
- 28:09Speaker 4: point nine plus. We got Dirty Little Secret on the way.
- 28:11Speaker 4: This woman I gotta get on the phone. But she's
- 28:13Speaker 4: basically keeping a secret from her man that she's dated
- 28:15Speaker 4: for over ten years now. Yeah, why she won't marry him.
- 28:20Speaker 4: She doesn't know this yet. That's the secret, is why
- 28:23Speaker 4: she won't marry him. She's keeping the real reason from him. Yeah,
- 28:27Speaker 4: so we'll do that for Dirty Little Secret. Oh gosh,
- 28:30Speaker 4: maybe we should do a list of the day because
- 28:31Speaker 4: it's always so funny to me, because you know, I
- 28:34Speaker 4: love a good list. They came out the list of
- 28:36Speaker 4: the most unusual baby names.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Okay, so it takes a.
- 28:40Speaker 4: While for them to come out, you know, so this
- 28:42Speaker 4: would be last year, twenty twenty five. But after the
- 28:45Speaker 4: Social Security Office or whatever does all the research, it
- 28:48Speaker 4: comes out the most popular names.
- 28:51Speaker 1: These are the most unusual, and they are weird.
- 28:55Speaker 4: There's some and it's not like just one, you know,
- 28:58Speaker 4: they don't just count just one person was name this, right,

- 32:02Speaker 4: some of the other ones.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Chaos, okay, Matrix.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I have a friend who named their kid ma'am. Really
- 32:09Speaker 2: yeah as a little girl?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Is she bad?
- 32:12Speaker 2: I guess.
- 32:14Speaker 1: She is gonna be.
- 32:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 2: If you have some friends with names that are really cool,
- 32:18Speaker 2: like Blaze and Brazos, Oh really, but the river Yeah okay,
- 32:24Speaker 2: I love those two.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I like the name Blaze fun Okay, that's a boy yeah, Oh.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Okay, good. I was gonna say, if it's a female.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, might grow up. That's not okay, fine, promise you'll
- 32:41Speaker 2: feel better.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret on Mixed one of
- 32:44Speaker 1: two point nine.

- 32:47Speaker 4: who is here in your secrets? Confess any time at
- 32:50Speaker 4: eight three, three seven, eight seven and one o two nine.

- 32:55Speaker 4: you want to go to Disneyland on us. Win a
- 32:57Speaker 4: trip at summer weens celebrate Halloween at Disneyland. Of course,
- 33:01Speaker 4: we're giving this away in the summer, so it only
- 33:03Speaker 4: makes sense called summer Ween.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, they're gonna put out the Halloween decorations in a
- 33:06Speaker 2: few weeks ago.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Plus it's just fun to say summer Ween.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Well did that? Another shot to win at eight ten?
- 33:11Speaker 1: We do it on the tens all day. Dirty little secret.
- 33:13Speaker 1: You got one? Here we go. What's up?
- 33:15Speaker 7: Yeah, Okay, I have been wanting to get this off
- 33:17Speaker 7: my chest. I've been with my boyfriend now for almost
- 33:21Speaker 7: twelve years, and like I mean, honestly, it's hard to
- 33:25Speaker 7: believe that we've been together for that long, just like
- 33:28Speaker 7: flown by, and I'm being honest here, probably half of
- 33:31Speaker 7: our relationship has honestly been pretty toxic. We met really young,
- 33:37Speaker 7: so I try to give you know, as much grace
- 33:40Speaker 7: as possible. But we've made like a lot of dumb decisions,
- 33:44Speaker 7: and we've heard each other and we stayed together through
- 33:47Speaker 7: those things that probably most couples would have broken up over.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Because being with someone twelve years is a long time.
- 33:54Speaker 2: This boyfriend and girlfriend, it's.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Just boyfriend and girlfriend.
- 33:56Speaker 4: So a lot of this relationship has been a little toxic.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, like we started out knowing each other
- 34:04Speaker 7: in high school and he was the man that every
- 34:07Speaker 7: girl wanted back then. All state football player in high school,
- 34:11Speaker 7: he played in college, had six packs, he was incredibly
- 34:15Speaker 7: in shape, and I mean yes, he was a total
- 34:18Speaker 7: player though because he knew he could get away with it.
- 34:22Speaker 7: We definitely have survived through the rough years somehow. But
- 34:26Speaker 7: over time he really has made a lot of change.
- 34:29Speaker 1: The change is not all good.
- 34:32Speaker 7: I actually haven't been that open about this, but I'm
- 34:35Speaker 7: not going to marry him until he loses weight.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Wait.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Oh, that's not what I expected. I know it all.
- 34:44Speaker 7: I know it's so shallow.
- 34:46Speaker 4: You said you're not going to marry him. So he's
- 34:49Speaker 4: okay because I got this picture in my head of
- 34:50Speaker 4: this like all buff.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Dude, Yeah, can't commit to you.
- 34:56Speaker 1: So you're saying that he's so over the years now
- 34:59Speaker 1: he's gained weight.
- 35:00Speaker 7: Yeah, it bothers me, and I mean, I just think
- 35:04Speaker 7: what happened is that he used to be really driven.
- 35:07Speaker 7: He was competitive, he was really confident, he took pride
- 35:10Speaker 7: and taking good care of himself. Now he's just like
- 35:13Speaker 7: a guy with a regular job, comes home, sits on
- 35:17Speaker 7: the couch.
- 35:18Speaker 2: He has gotten just he's.
- 35:19Speaker 7: Taken things really comfortably and he hap just existing.
- 35:23Speaker 4: It seems you haven't told him that this is why
- 35:27Speaker 4: you're not going to marry him though, or you did.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Tell him, told him.
- 35:30Speaker 7: I haven't told him this exactly. He has brought up marriage.
- 35:34Speaker 7: The last time that he did it, I said, you know,
- 35:37Speaker 7: we need to be in a different place first, and
- 35:41Speaker 7: by that I said, you know, you need to work
- 35:43Speaker 7: on yourself.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Oh but you meant.
- 35:45Speaker 1: A different body. You need to work on your truth. Okay.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You never told him that.
- 35:52Speaker 7: Okay, never actually have said like, okay, I just need
- 35:56Speaker 7: to be with a guy who's ambitious, discipline, put it
- 36:00Speaker 7: in himself, and he's just not.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Wow, I get where you're coming from. I think you know.
- 36:05Speaker 4: So you're saying it's more than just physical. Obviously he's
- 36:07Speaker 4: gained weight that happens, people go up and down and wait,
- 36:09Speaker 4: whatever you're saying, it's more just overall things.
- 36:12Speaker 1: So, yeah, you.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Don't want to marry a guy who's overweight, but he's
- 36:16Speaker 4: also not driven.
- 36:17Speaker 2: He's yeah, he's friends who split up because of the
- 36:20Speaker 2: same reason.
- 36:21Speaker 7: Like, I totally get this is not popular opinion, but
- 36:24Speaker 7: I think a man should be someone his family can
- 36:27Speaker 7: depend on. And part of that to me is like
- 36:30Speaker 7: can taking care of himself and being healthy. I just
- 36:33Speaker 7: don't want to see myself spending the next twenty years
- 36:35Speaker 7: digging my husband to exercise, well.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Worrying, you know, if he's going to have a heart
- 36:40Speaker 2: attack by the time ninety's fifty. Oh, I mean, is
- 36:43Speaker 2: it the ambition when it comes to exercise or ambition
- 36:46Speaker 2: in life, because I think they're kind of a little different.
- 36:49Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you he's a man that can easily
- 36:50Speaker 4: bleed into each other. Yeah, you know, your physical appearance
- 36:53Speaker 4: dictates a lot, and your drive in general can also.
- 36:57Speaker 4: You know, you just when you get a little bit
- 36:59Speaker 4: older and and honestly, and I'm not gonna speak for
- 37:02Speaker 4: your boyfriend, but he could be going through something mentally too. Yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 4: and a lot of men do they hit a wall
- 37:06Speaker 4: where they feel like yeah, no, oh, of course.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Anyone can be.
- 37:10Speaker 4: But I'm just saying, as a man who at once
- 37:12Speaker 4: was an all state football player and was the man
- 37:14Speaker 4: in high school, now life is a little bit more normal,
- 37:17Speaker 4: He's not the man right, and all of a sudden
- 37:20Speaker 4: things are different and that can mess with your mind
- 37:22Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:24Speaker 7: I mean, I feel like this is a maybe of
- 37:26Speaker 7: like an epidemic, but I feel like some men have
- 37:28Speaker 7: just gotten so comfortable and like they feel they just
- 37:32Speaker 7: don't have to push themselves anymore and they don't feel
- 37:34Speaker 7: like leading, and somewhere along the way they just lose
- 37:37Speaker 7: also their's help confidence.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Yeah wow, Like yeah, but this is a team effort.
- 37:41Speaker 6: You need to help him, you know what I'm saying,
- 37:43Speaker 6: talk to him.
- 37:45Speaker 7: I am. I'm trying to definitely be delicate. I love
- 37:47Speaker 7: this man for sure, I'm not gonna leave him over this,
- 37:50Speaker 7: But you know, if he asked me to marry him
- 37:53Speaker 7: again before anything changes, I'm gonna just straight up tell
- 37:56Speaker 7: him the truth.
- 37:56Speaker 6: I'm just saying, like if the tables were turned and
- 37:58Speaker 6: he told you, hey, I'm not going to marry you
- 38:00Speaker 6: till you lose them weight, how would I wouldn't.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't say that to anyone.
- 38:04Speaker 4: No, So that's definitely not the way you bring it up.
- 38:07Speaker 4: But I mean, I definitely think that's the last thing.
- 38:10Speaker 4: If you're gonna bring up anything when it comes to appearance,
- 38:11Speaker 4: you bring up health. And I want you to be
- 38:14Speaker 4: healthy if you're going to lead our family, which if
- 38:16Speaker 4: you're marrying me, you're going to be the leader of
- 38:18Speaker 4: our family, and you you should be physically fit and healthy.
- 38:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 2: I need to be able to rely on you.
- 38:23Speaker 4: And I get that. I mean that makes sense. If
- 38:26Speaker 4: you're in a relationship and somebody depends on you, your
- 38:29Speaker 4: health matters to them for sure, and it should matter
- 38:31Speaker 4: to you too. So I mean I think you should
- 38:33Speaker 4: be honest with him and say, listen, I've noticed this
- 38:35Speaker 4: and I'm worried about you.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe a wedding would motivate him. Maybe y'all sting
- 38:40Speaker 2: for the wedding.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe work out together, Maybe you do something to
- 38:44Speaker 4: get his motivation. But maybe he's in a job he hates.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Maybe you motivate him and beat the support system he
- 38:49Speaker 4: really needs right now. But I definitely wouldn't bring up weight. Yeah,
- 38:52Speaker 4: good luck. I really hope it works out if you
- 38:55Speaker 4: can give us an update and you know, follow up
- 38:57Speaker 4: and just in a few weeks or months call us
- 39:00Speaker 4: up and tell us what's going on.
- 39:01Speaker 7: Sure, I will definitely and thank you all again for
- 39:04Speaker 7: the advice.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yeah, hold on, is that? Is she crazy for that?
- 39:09Speaker 4: I wonder what people think eight three three seven eight
- 39:11Speaker 4: seven one oh two nine because it is a woman
- 39:13Speaker 4: when you want to be healthy for your partner as well,
- 39:15Speaker 4: it's not just a man for your family.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Right, But maybe I'm crazy. Maybe has nothing to do
- 39:20Speaker 1: with it. What do you think? Let us know?
- 39:22Speaker 4: Wow it Mix one o two point nine Ability Kid,
- 39:24Speaker 4: Candace Lompez, producer, Pooh before we do Candas Cord. People
- 39:27Speaker 4: blowing us up about dirty little secret just oh so
- 39:31Speaker 4: many comments basically if you missed it, this woman said
- 39:33Speaker 4: she has a secret that she's kept from her man
- 39:36Speaker 4: of twelve years, her boyfriend, not husband. She is not
- 39:39Speaker 4: marrying him because she wants him to lose weight, right.
- 39:43Speaker 4: She has not told him that yet though, and Amy
- 39:46Speaker 4: is so mad about it.
- 39:47Speaker 9: She is shallow and she needs to just move on
- 39:50Speaker 9: because this is never going to work out. She's mad
- 39:52Speaker 9: because she doesn't have the stud anymore. And I'm sure
- 39:55Speaker 9: she's not the stud anymore either. She probably peaked in
- 39:58Speaker 9: high school and she's just act she doesn't have it.
- 40:03Speaker 9: If he's happy the way he is, Yeah, lady, he's
- 40:08Speaker 9: probably happier without you anyway.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so you don't you don't think.
- 40:14Speaker 4: No, I'm glad you're being honest that I'm appreciate you
- 40:17Speaker 4: being honest.
- 40:18Speaker 9: So so angry. I'm sorry that the first problem in
- 40:21Speaker 9: a relationship is honesty and distrust. She's broken that, and
- 40:26Speaker 9: I think if he hears any of this, he's gonna
- 40:28Speaker 9: learn he's probably move on at least I hope.
- 40:31Speaker 1: So Okay, all right, thank you, Amy, I know. And
- 40:33Speaker 1: then you got a message. You got dms too.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Travis basically said the same thing, that she's the
- 40:37Speaker 2: worst girlfriend. She needs to go. Is she expecting a
- 40:40Speaker 2: teenager like he's a grown man.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Well, some with somebody DM me say, I get it.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Some girls said I totally get it, because you want
- 40:46Speaker 4: your man to be healthy and you wanted to be
- 40:48Speaker 4: confident driven. But I don't know if she's helping with
- 40:50Speaker 4: the situation either way. Thank you for all the comment
- 40:53Speaker 4: the feedback on Dirty Little Secret.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Are you ready? Here we go? All right, he's.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 41:03Speaker 1: A rise for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Here she is with her gavel, her Bucky's blanket, her hoodie,
- 41:10Speaker 4: her starf, her thirteen socks, kards of socks that she has.
- 41:14Speaker 4: It is cold in his studio today. You never know
- 41:17Speaker 4: what it's gonna be. We got to bring a change
- 41:18Speaker 4: of clothes. Yeah, today it's extra cold, but Monday we
- 41:22Speaker 4: had no AC. You never know what you're gonna get,
- 41:25Speaker 4: all right, Candace Court. If you've got an issue at
- 41:27Speaker 4: Candace on Air on Instagram, she can help you solve it.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 41:30Speaker 4: One of my good friends is planning to propose to
- 41:33Speaker 4: his girlfriend and enlisted me for help shopping for the ring.
- 41:38Speaker 4: I work in the jewelry industry, and I have for
- 41:40Speaker 4: my entire career of almost twenty years, so I was
- 41:43Speaker 4: very excited to help him out. He has no clue
- 41:46Speaker 4: about jewelry or diamonds whatsoever, and I should mention he
- 41:49Speaker 4: does very well for himself. So I showed him a
- 41:52Speaker 4: wide variety of ring styles. He started to gravitate to
- 41:55Speaker 4: a specific style, and this is where the issue came in.
- 41:59Speaker 4: I kind of I've showed him my absolute favorite dream ring.
- 42:04Speaker 4: When I showed him, he got more excited about it
- 42:07Speaker 4: than literally any of the dozens of other rings I
- 42:10Speaker 4: showed him and immediately stopped looking and bought it. I
- 42:15Speaker 4: know I'm single, but I specifically told him this was
- 42:19Speaker 4: my dream ring and it has been for years. Am
- 42:24Speaker 4: I weird for being mad about this?
- 42:26Speaker 1: Can this please help? Okay? So let me get this right.
- 42:30Speaker 1: So she it's this a woman who wrote in sounds
- 42:33Speaker 1: like it she took.
- 42:34Speaker 4: Her this guy shopping ring shopping for his girlfriend? Right,
- 42:41Speaker 4: first of all, instant red flag.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Okay, but she works in the jewelry industry, right, So
- 42:46Speaker 2: wouldn't you if you knew someone who worked at the
- 42:48Speaker 2: industry and you'd be like, hey, you're the pro here
- 42:50Speaker 2: I do.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Shut me out, shout out to my boy, Coco. It's
- 42:53Speaker 1: a guy.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, but it's.
- 42:55Speaker 1: A man, right, does it not? Okay?
- 42:58Speaker 4: Maybe I'm weird in old school? Is it a little
- 43:00Speaker 4: bit weird if you, as a man go ring shopping
- 43:05Speaker 4: for your ring? Like let's say, you know, Candice, you
- 43:08Speaker 4: and poor Dayton Okay, and Pooh's like goes in with
- 43:12Speaker 4: some other woman to pick out your ring.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Do you love that? If you don't really know this woman,
- 43:18Speaker 1: don't love it?
- 43:18Speaker 2: But you know whatever, at least he's shopping, you know,
- 43:21Speaker 2: at least he's getting some input and he's not just
- 43:23Speaker 2: out there like, well that looks cool.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I would never go ring shopping with another woman for
- 43:28Speaker 1: my girl.
- 43:29Speaker 2: But if she was like a professional in the jewelry industry,
- 43:32Speaker 2: could insight to rings that you may not be able
- 43:35Speaker 2: to find.
- 43:36Speaker 4: It's not my court, but if it's all I'm saying
- 43:39Speaker 4: is if she's a professional, then this doesn't even happen.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Because if she's a professional, she's not gonna get upset
- 43:44Speaker 4: about buying a ring that she liked.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Well. I mean, I think she definitely is. Her dream
- 43:50Speaker 2: just got crushed because she just saw someone by the
- 43:52Speaker 2: exact ring that she wants someday.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Doesn't even have a boyfriend.
- 43:56Speaker 6: She doesn't, right, but he just swooped right in. I
- 43:59Speaker 6: mean as a friend, And I mean, come onme, man.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Don't show me the ring if you don't want me
- 44:04Speaker 4: to buy it. First of all, you're showing me a
- 44:06Speaker 4: bunch of rings. Oh I love that ring, that's beautiful.
- 44:09Speaker 4: I'm thinking you're showing me because you're excited about it, right,
- 44:12Speaker 4: and you're like, this is like my dream ring.
- 44:14Speaker 1: He doesn't know it.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Also kind of seems like, if you're working in the
- 44:16Speaker 2: jely industry, surely there's more than one dream ring that
- 44:19Speaker 2: you would have, knowing how many options there are out there.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Figure out your dream guy before your dream ring. You're
- 44:26Speaker 1: dreaming right now? What are you so mad about it?
- 44:30Speaker 2: I mean you're coming off a little jelly.
- 44:32Speaker 1: You're coming off peanut butter and jelly.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Yeah, peanut butter and jelly. Yeah. I feel bad for
- 44:38Speaker 2: you because she clearly works in this industry and sees
- 44:40Speaker 2: this happen in front of her every day all day,
- 44:43Speaker 2: people getting married and happy and stuff, and she's single.
- 44:45Speaker 6: Yeah, but those are customers. I mean, this is your friend.
- 44:48Speaker 6: It's supposed to be your home. That's more of why
- 44:50Speaker 6: you shouldn't care.
- 44:51Speaker 1: What I mean.
- 44:52Speaker 6: I mean, I would feel some type of I respect
- 44:54Speaker 6: what she's doing. Oh yeah, because I would.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Care if somebody got your dream ring. Yeah yeah, if
- 45:00Speaker 1: I was in her shoes, i'd be like, I wanted
- 45:03Speaker 1: that ring. Then don't everything else. Don't show me the ring.
- 45:07Speaker 1: You don't want me to buy it.
- 45:08Speaker 2: She probably didn't expect him to love it that way,
- 45:11Speaker 2: to just stop looking at it. We're sold sold.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Yeah I love it, So I love it and that's
- 45:15Speaker 4: what I want. I'll buy it right now. Oh awesome.
- 45:17Speaker 4: Usual your friend like that, Well I do. I wouldn't
- 45:20Speaker 4: even know that I'm doing anything because you showed me
- 45:22Speaker 4: a ring that you said you loved, and I'm like, yeah,
- 45:23Speaker 4: I do love it.
- 45:24Speaker 1: You're right, this is beautiful.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Right if she was engaged, If she was, you know,
- 45:28Speaker 2: in a long term relationship and maybe close to getting
- 45:30Speaker 2: engaged or something, then it might be a little weird.
- 45:32Speaker 2: But if she's super single.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Don't show me a ring if you don't want to
- 45:37Speaker 1: buy it.
- 45:38Speaker 2: You can't see anything else. Once you've seen the one
- 45:40Speaker 2: that you're like, yes, that's the one. You can't see
- 45:42Speaker 2: anything else.
- 45:43Speaker 4: That's the one that sparked him. And he's like, oh
- 45:45Speaker 4: that's the one. Sorry, it's the one that you want
- 45:48Speaker 4: to be the one, but you got to find the one.
- 45:49Speaker 6: Probably probably told him. I would be like, oh no,
- 45:51Speaker 6: that album's already sold.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Well why would you show it? Then?
- 45:54Speaker 4: That's my whole point, and don't show me. This is
- 45:56Speaker 4: so this is so petty. Just be happy for your friend.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Oh man, this is my be happy for him that
- 46:03Speaker 4: he's in love. Don't be a bitter Betty. But it's
- 46:05Speaker 4: not my court. It's candis court.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Who cares what pooh and I say, yeah, it's your verdict.
- 46:10Speaker 2: It is.
- 46:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Unfortunately, you're coming off jelly. You're guilty of being a
- 46:14Speaker 2: called at Kathy. You can't be like I call that ring.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Yeah years ago.
- 46:20Speaker 2: You can't do that for you because that's gotta suck.
- 46:24Speaker 4: If you didn't design the ring, no, you wouldn't make it.
- 46:27Speaker 4: It's in the store. It showed it to me.
- 46:29Speaker 2: I want it right, And so what if someday down
- 46:32Speaker 2: the road you get engaged and you have the same
- 46:34Speaker 2: ring as this guy's wife. Whatever, it's nice. I showed
- 46:37Speaker 2: him the ring first.
- 46:39Speaker 4: It sound like you're gonna see her all the time, Right,
- 46:41Speaker 4: you get the ring, make one little change to it.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Be happy, hopefully not just be happy you have a man.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Be real.
- 46:47Speaker 4: There's a good chance his marriage won't even work out.
- 46:51Speaker 5: The New Mixed one or two point.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Nine, it's Top Stories on the Tents with Billy's the Kid.
- 46:56Speaker 5: In the Morning only on the New Mix one.
- 47:01Speaker 2: What's up Well Forney Id has given an update on
- 47:04Speaker 2: the now former principal at Crosby Elementary School. She has
- 47:07Speaker 2: officially been arrested. Investigators say she agreed to hire a
- 47:12Speaker 2: special education teacher she knew had serious issues and other
- 47:16Speaker 2: school districts as long as he was going to change
- 47:19Speaker 2: his name. So, they say, she then also failed to
- 47:22Speaker 2: report abuse allegations against him. If you remember back in May,
- 47:26Speaker 2: so this was the man who was charged with two
- 47:28Speaker 2: counts of injury to a child and one count of
- 47:31Speaker 2: child grooming. He is still in the Kaufman County jail,
- 47:34Speaker 2: but apparently he had been removed from jobs with Dallas
- 47:38Speaker 2: ISD and he also lost a job in Detton, id
- 47:41Speaker 2: before trying to get the job in Forny, So she
- 47:44Speaker 2: knew all about this. I guess they were able to
- 47:46Speaker 2: pull you know, email and phone records showing the communication
- 47:50Speaker 2: between the two of them saying just change your name
- 47:52Speaker 2: and I'll hire you.
- 47:53Speaker 4: You're trying to cover up the fact that head things
- 47:56Speaker 4: and then when.
- 47:56Speaker 2: He did bad things in Forny, she just you know,
- 47:59Speaker 2: failed to.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Report that insanity. Why what was her motive?
- 48:02Speaker 2: I have no idea. I have no idea.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Dating or something.
- 48:06Speaker 2: I don't know. They haven't said, you know, any details
- 48:08Speaker 2: beyond what I just mentioned. But yeah, she was arrested
- 48:12Speaker 2: last week. So hopefully the school near starts, you know,
- 48:15Speaker 2: fresh and new and safe in for you. Yes, safe, Yeah, guys,
- 48:18Speaker 2: I really hope this isn't the new trend with airlines.
- 48:21Speaker 2: The Australian budget airline Jetstar, will soon charge flyers for
- 48:25Speaker 2: carry on luggages stowed in overhead compartment.
- 48:29Speaker 1: I know what is happening.
- 48:31Speaker 2: So starting next year, an overhead item will cost at
- 48:34Speaker 2: least eighteen dollars one way. So small personal items that
- 48:37Speaker 2: can fit under the seat, those will still be free.
- 48:40Speaker 2: But if you put something above your seat, you gotta
- 48:42Speaker 2: pay for it.
- 48:43Speaker 4: Just charge me the eighteen dollars, right, and I won't know, Yeah,
- 48:46Speaker 4: I won't just be reasonable.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Charge me the eighteen dollars be lower than everybody else.
- 48:50Speaker 1: And why are you telling us that?
- 48:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really strange. I don't know why. That's just
- 48:54Speaker 2: going to enrage people. But it's a budget airlines, you
- 48:57Speaker 2: know how they kind of like put these charges on top.
- 49:00Speaker 1: That was like Spirit back in the day.
- 49:01Speaker 4: I mean I never even technically I bought a ticket
- 49:03Speaker 4: on Spirit, but never got to fly Spirit because my
- 49:06Speaker 4: friends were off flying it and then they canceled the flight.
- 49:07Speaker 4: We had to drive back. Yeah, but I guess that's
- 49:10Speaker 4: what they were doing. They were charging for like every
- 49:11Speaker 4: bag you take, no matter what. But well, by the
- 49:13Speaker 4: time you pay for all this stuff, you could have
- 49:15Speaker 4: just flown American, right, I mean maybe maybe.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I don't know how cheap the budget airline flights cost, but.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Gets are expensive right now.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I know gas prices are expensive, but it's like
- 49:25Speaker 4: the prices for airlines have went up, the accommodations have
- 49:28Speaker 4: went down. Yeah, they could care less. If you ever
- 49:31Speaker 4: get there, you might get delayed seven hours. There's no
- 49:34Speaker 4: consequences for the airlines.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's tough travel times.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Them responsible for some of this stuff because it's crazy.
- 49:42Speaker 2: It is it is, uh but yeah, that's Australia for now.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Hopefully that's not going to be a thing over here
- 49:46Speaker 2: anytime soon.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Guys.
- 49:48Speaker 2: The Home arm Channel just announced their new holiday touchdown movie.
- 49:51Speaker 2: This time they are going to partner with the Chicago Bears.
- 49:55Speaker 2: So the two movies before this were based around Buffalo
- 49:58Speaker 2: and then Kansas City. If you're a Holiday touchdown a
- 50:02Speaker 2: love story from you know, the Chief's love story. This
- 50:05Speaker 2: is a Bears love.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Stories it's so good. Oh, I'm sure you watched it.
- 50:10Speaker 1: I did.
- 50:10Speaker 4: I've only watched one Hallmark movie and that was your
- 50:13Speaker 4: husband's movie that he was in.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Oh good, and it was actually really good.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Yeah, they're all really good. They're sweet movies. But they
- 50:19Speaker 2: just filming this one at Soldier Field. There aren't any
- 50:22Speaker 2: details out yet about the plot, but just like the
- 50:25Speaker 2: first two, it will incorporate the team's charitable side with
- 50:28Speaker 2: Bear's care. It will highlight some of the work that
- 50:31Speaker 2: they do in Chicago. This movie will premiere this fall
- 50:34Speaker 2: as part of Hallmark's annual countdown to Christmas. So yeah,
- 50:38Speaker 2: I thought that love them they do. I thought this
- 50:40Speaker 2: football Touchdown Love Story was just gonna end with Kansas City.
- 50:43Speaker 2: I thought this was a Taylor and Travis thing and
- 50:45Speaker 2: then that's it. But now that it's gonna be the third.
- 50:46Speaker 4: One, I don't get the connection. But unless it's about
- 50:49Speaker 4: the Cowboys, I'm probably not watching.
- 50:51Speaker 2: That would be so good Holiday touchdown Cowboys love story?
- 50:54Speaker 4: Yeah, cowboys love story. What's it going to be though?
- 50:56Speaker 4: You know, That's what I'm trying to figure out. Yeah.
- 50:58Speaker 2: All we hear about them is just you know, breakups
- 51:00Speaker 2: and cheating.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you know I'd.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Watched that, yeah drama on the Bachelor trip.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Trip, right, I would now that would be really good. Actually,
- 51:10Speaker 1: I would really watch them.
- 51:12Speaker 2: We have a deal that that's more of, like I
- 51:16Speaker 2: don't know, that's definitely not Hallmark.
- 51:18Speaker 1: That's an e or something.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, all right, I'm Canna Slowpez. Those are your
- 51:23Speaker 2: Texas top stories.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Oh that's a hot takee let us know what you think.
- 51:28Speaker 5: Here's today's hot take.
- 51:30Speaker 4: Your chance of one thousand dollars coming up next. By
- 51:32Speaker 4: the way, get ready for that. It's mixed one or
- 51:34Speaker 4: two point nine if the ablet a kid. Canna Slowpez
- 51:36Speaker 4: producer poo is here. Back to school time. Some schools
- 51:39Speaker 4: even started today.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I know it's crazy.
- 51:42Speaker 4: Duncanville started today. It seems extra early, and it seems
- 51:45Speaker 4: random on a Thursday.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 51:46Speaker 4: There's probably a reason why they do that, because even
- 51:49Speaker 4: next week when a lot of schools go back, it's
- 51:51Speaker 4: random days. It's like Wednesday or Tuesday, like Thursday. Why
- 51:55Speaker 4: go back for like one day? Maybe they just trying
- 51:57Speaker 4: to ease the kids into it.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it kind of helps have short week to kick
- 52:01Speaker 2: things off.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it kind of does.
- 52:03Speaker 4: So hot take of the Day today is about a teacher,
- 52:05Speaker 4: and it's about a teacher who went viral because well,
- 52:08Speaker 4: she shows up back at school because she's gonna set
- 52:11Speaker 4: up her classroom. Which shout out to all the teachers
- 52:13Speaker 4: for everything you do, seriously, thank you, because I mean,
- 52:17Speaker 4: I know you spend a lot of your own money.
- 52:19Speaker 4: You definitely a lot of your own personal time making
- 52:22Speaker 4: your classrooms look good, you know, and buying supplies and
- 52:26Speaker 4: things that you need that you're not you know, you
- 52:28Speaker 4: don't make a lot of money as it is.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Oh, and they're trying to make it exciting for kids
- 52:32Speaker 2: to come back to you know.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Right, you want to decorate the class you want to
- 52:35Speaker 4: do stuff like that, which, by the way, none of
- 52:36Speaker 4: my teachers did, no, I mean.
- 52:38Speaker 2: They're not like they are now. Oh no, our rooms
- 52:41Speaker 2: have neon lights and stuff hanging from the ceiling and
- 52:43Speaker 2: all so good.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Like mister Zifko, my fourth grade teacher.
- 52:47Speaker 4: I mean, that guy didn't care if that place looked
- 52:49Speaker 4: like a prison, right, So shout out to the teachers nowadays.
- 52:53Speaker 4: He had like this big mustache and he would smoke
- 52:56Speaker 4: a pipe before school.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Weird.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Yeah, he would actually go right out side the door
- 53:00Speaker 4: and smoke a pipe and you could smell it right
- 53:03Speaker 4: outside the classroom.
- 53:04Speaker 1: No, then he come back in.
- 53:06Speaker 4: He'd be like, look, we're studying or whatever, and he'd
- 53:08Speaker 4: be over your shoulder yelling at you. All you smell
- 53:10Speaker 4: is just smoke, and you're like, what's happening?
- 53:13Speaker 1: Yeah, either way.
- 53:14Speaker 4: So this teacher gets back, she walks into her classroom
- 53:16Speaker 4: and she's shocked because her classroom is like covered in mold.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Oh mold.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:22Speaker 4: So she goes online and I guess the ac was
- 53:25Speaker 4: broken over the summer, so it didn't have the best
- 53:28Speaker 4: you know, the conditions were pretty nasty. This is the
- 53:30Speaker 4: same classroom she worked so hard to take care of
- 53:32Speaker 4: the year before.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Yeah, so she goes online and goes off.
- 53:35Speaker 10: So for context, everything was completely covered. My chair, my automan,
- 53:41Speaker 10: things that I've spent so much of my money on,
- 53:44Speaker 10: people have spent money on form my classroom. All of
- 53:46Speaker 10: these picture frames had to come down because there was
- 53:48Speaker 10: mold touched behind chairs, in the desks, all of my
- 53:52Speaker 10: posters in my cabinets, and even all of my books
- 53:56Speaker 10: that I've taken such pride in to keep me all
- 53:57Speaker 10: year warped and mold. So like this is that's the
- 54:00Speaker 10: reason nobody gets into education, because we're the ones that
- 54:03Speaker 10: have to fund our classroom in the first place.
- 54:05Speaker 2: But since there was no ac all summer, everything that
- 54:08Speaker 2: I poured in my money to is ruined.
- 54:10Speaker 10: And I love my job with my whole heart, but
- 54:14Speaker 10: we do not get paid enough for.
- 54:15Speaker 4: This, right, So agreed. Yeah, here's the part that gets
- 54:19Speaker 4: a little weird. The administration sees that and they fire her.
- 54:23Speaker 4: Oh man, they fire her, and people are going back
- 54:27Speaker 4: and forth about it online, and I want to know
- 54:29Speaker 4: what you think is that the right thing to do?
- 54:32Speaker 1: And of course I don't want to see any teacher fired.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but at the same time, you can't just post
- 54:38Speaker 4: a video blasting the school without doing anything else about it.
- 54:42Speaker 1: And that's what it sounds like happened.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I which sucks because you know she's emotional. You
- 54:46Speaker 2: can't criticize your workplace so like that. But the district
- 54:49Speaker 2: also needs to replace her stuff. And if she's a
- 54:51Speaker 2: good teacher, y'all better hold on to her, you know
- 54:54Speaker 2: what I mean? Like exactly, I heard so few teachers
- 54:57Speaker 2: that we can rely on that want to teach out
- 54:59Speaker 2: of and it sounds like she's that person. The ones
- 55:03Speaker 2: that are doing it from their heart.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 55:06Speaker 4: Yeah, But at the same time, I don't think she
- 55:08Speaker 4: should have been fired, but there probably should be some
- 55:11Speaker 4: kind of consequences to blast the school.
- 55:14Speaker 1: And they go, yeah, oh, can we fix this?
- 55:16Speaker 4: Why don't you tell the principle first, right, I'm just
- 55:19Speaker 4: saying she's setting a really bad example.
- 55:21Speaker 2: No, I agree with that. She did also post a
- 55:23Speaker 2: link in our bio like, hey, here's my wish list.
- 55:25Speaker 2: If you want to help me replace some of the stuff.
- 55:27Speaker 1: That was damaged, that's awesome. Yeah, and I would totally
- 55:30Speaker 1: help out.
- 55:30Speaker 4: I don't know where she's at, but no matter what,
- 55:32Speaker 4: I think that's the kind of thing that you need
- 55:34Speaker 4: to do. And it's sad that you have to do
- 55:35Speaker 4: that because people ought to, you know. I mean, I
- 55:38Speaker 4: feel like we pay enough taxes to figure it out. Yeah,
- 55:41Speaker 4: and people pay a lot of taxes. At least we
- 55:43Speaker 4: could take care of public schools.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Yeah. It's interesting though, because I am noticing a lot
- 55:48Speaker 2: more teacher slash influencers online teachers, you know, recording content
- 55:52Speaker 2: in the classroom and doing all this stuff, which is
- 55:54Speaker 2: it's odd to me.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Well, do you like that or not? Because it is
- 55:58Speaker 1: I don't know it does see.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Where our cultures go.
- 56:00Speaker 1: It is where our culture's going. But it's kind of weird.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Like there's certain teachers who are viral and they they've
- 56:05Speaker 4: become creators.
- 56:07Speaker 1: They don't show the kids faces typically, no, typically, but
- 56:11Speaker 1: I have not. I have seen it before.
- 56:13Speaker 6: Yeah, that one teacher in Fort Worth who like, she's
- 56:16Speaker 6: a math teacher. She went viral for how she does
- 56:19Speaker 6: math and like now other teachers follow her because she
- 56:22Speaker 6: has a new concept of how you do math. So
- 56:25Speaker 6: there's a lot of teachers becoming But I.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Think that's cool. I don't mind that.
- 56:29Speaker 4: But I also want to know if my kid's teacher
- 56:33Speaker 4: is a creator, because not everybody wants their kids on
- 56:37Speaker 4: the snapchat.
- 56:39Speaker 2: H I mean in our district, you do have to
- 56:40Speaker 2: fill out a form saying you allow them to post
- 56:43Speaker 2: pictures or take pictures of.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Your really, yeah for sure? Well and they can if
- 56:48Speaker 1: you say yes, they say.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Yes, they can. Yeah, they'll post them meat on Facebook
- 56:52Speaker 2: or YouTube or whatever.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Oh okay, well that's actually in the.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Yearbook two if you say no, really, so yeah.
- 56:59Speaker 1: What can't you say? I want to be in the yearbook,
- 57:00Speaker 1: but I don't want to be on.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Facebook, right, I know, that's kind of it's.
- 57:04Speaker 1: One of the other.
- 57:04Speaker 2: It's one of the other.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Yeah, oh that's kind of weird.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's interesting though where we're going with all this
- 57:09Speaker 2: new media and just you know, public education.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I would. I will say this though.
- 57:15Speaker 4: You see online all these teachers and I got to say,
- 57:19Speaker 4: where were the teachers that were that cool when I.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Was a kid?
- 57:22Speaker 2: I know, right, I don't remember my teacher even ever
- 57:23Speaker 2: wearing a T shirt. It was like a field trip.
- 57:26Speaker 1: These teachers are so cool. They are they're young, like
- 57:30Speaker 1: some of them are. I'm not. And I'm not talking
- 57:33Speaker 1: about all they're hot.
- 57:33Speaker 4: I mean there's attractive teachers and there's men.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Too who are like good looking.
- 57:38Speaker 4: Dudes are like buff And I'm like, I didn't have
- 57:40Speaker 4: a buff or a good looking teacher.
- 57:42Speaker 6: Now, I had mister Groanibor who used to chew on
- 57:44Speaker 6: onions like apples.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Wait what my algebra class?
- 57:49Speaker 6: Mister Groanibor he would chew on onions, literally chew on
- 57:52Speaker 6: onions like apples, and in class, in class, and he'd
- 57:56Speaker 6: make you go to the chalkboard and work out your
- 57:58Speaker 6: problems and where in that's Duncanville shout out dunky Ville.
- 58:02Speaker 1: That's right, you went to Duncanville.
- 58:04Speaker 6: Yeah, just chomping on onions, chomping on onions, like like nothing.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Yeah, she's still around, not that I know of.
- 58:12Speaker 6: The only teacher I know or principal that I know
- 58:15Speaker 6: that I had is still around is miss Judd. And
- 58:18Speaker 6: they just dedicated the library Duncanville High School Library.
- 58:21Speaker 1: There's no way.
- 58:22Speaker 4: She's still she's still She was there when you were there, yep,
- 58:25Speaker 4: forty years ago.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Yeah, she showed up in my house one time. I
- 58:28Speaker 1: got it. I got a referral and I lied and
- 58:30Speaker 1: I told her my parents were out of town for work.
- 58:33Speaker 6: Yeah, And so she showed up at my house, knocked
- 58:35Speaker 6: on the door and I was like, oh man.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I answered the door. She was like, your parents aren't here.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I was like no.
- 58:41Speaker 6: And then my dad popped out and was like, her
- 58:43Speaker 6: name's Flow. He was like hey, Flow, and she was like, hey,
- 58:46Speaker 6: I was coming to talk to you and Brenda and yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 6: I was like, oh, that's another kind of Yeah, she
- 58:54Speaker 6: showed Miss Judd would show up at your door if
- 58:57Speaker 6: you want to say.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and she's still there. Oh yeah, she's still there.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Miss jug How old do you think Flow is now
- 59:06Speaker 1: probably gotta be in her eighties or something like. Wow, yeah,
- 59:10Speaker 1: still working. Yeah, shout out to all our teachers, thank
- 59:13Speaker 1: you for.
- 59:15Speaker 5: It.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Should you go?
- 59:17Speaker 4: Should we send you to your old school to talk
- 59:20Speaker 4: to Flow? To miss Judge?
- 59:21Speaker 1: Oh, miss Judge.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Yeah, she'd probably start crying because she was like she
- 59:24Speaker 6: always had my back.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I will say that she probably.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Start crying because you showed up.
- 59:30Speaker 6: I was a class clown, but she always you know,
- 59:33Speaker 6: she looked out for me.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Yeah, really, yeah, she looked out. So we have heard
- 59:36Speaker 1: a thank that you're a genius.
- 59:37Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, Yeah, I didn't get sent to an alternative
- 59:40Speaker 6: school because she hooked me up?
- 59:42Speaker 1: Oh really? Yeah you should have. Yeah didn't you? Didn't
- 59:45Speaker 1: you fail kindergarten twice?
- 59:46Speaker 7: No?
- 59:47Speaker 1: No, I'm serious. Didn't get hell back one time?
- 59:50Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 59:50Speaker 6: I got help back, but I didn't I get hell
- 59:52Speaker 6: back twice.
- 59:53Speaker 4: Who's a super senior? You're in school? You ever meet
- 59:58Speaker 4: someone like that? Like there was a kid I went
- 59:59Speaker 4: to high school with it. You could buy us beer,
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: I swear to legally from you.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Mixed one two point nine.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Hope you're having a good morning. It's mixed one or
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: two point nine. Billy A.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Kid Candislow Pez producer Pooh is here if you want
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: a shot to go to Disneyland.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Another chance coming up at nine ten. We do it
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: on the tens.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: This is cracking me up because it's such a dumb
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: question that somebody asked online. But I love these kind
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: of questions because it really makes you think.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Right, So somebody put up a pole and they're like, hey,
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: what's your queue to get out of the pool?
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Like when do you're like, enough's enough?
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta get out. Okay, so that's your answer
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: right away, candislow Pez says when she has to p pooh,
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: what's your answer?
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: When whoever's on the grill says, hey, these burgers are done,
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: come out.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: I'm going to get my all right, you might be
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: surprised by some of the answers. Okay, are you ready
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: for what the answers were in this official poll that
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: they did two thousand people, so it's not like, oh,
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: this was a poll of five people whatever. Yeah.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Uh. The number one answer was when you get bored?
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Oh that was sixty two percent of people said I
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: get out of the pool when I get bored.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: So you're telling me you're getting bored. Before you have
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: to pee.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Okay, that's weird, So it is weird.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: Number two is gonna be when you got a pee,
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: right sure? Number two is when you get tired.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Why so there you.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Go, get tired before they have to view.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: That's number two.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: Then number three, Oh, it's got to be when I
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: got a pee, right, yeah, No, when I get hungry.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: He's number three, hungry over p so and that's nine percent.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: So for sure. Number four is going.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: To be, Oh, for sure, when I got a pee.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: Number four, when your fingers get too wrinkly. And then
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: number five And the last answer was other others. Seven
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: percent said other not one person in this poll. It
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: might have been one, but it would have been in
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: the other It was so minuscule that it wouldn't even
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: have registered on the poll. So, and I'm telling you
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: that goes to my theory.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: And this is the.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Reason I say, still disagree.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: If it's an anonymous poll and you're telling you're talking
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: to people, ninety five point eight point five percent of
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: people say they pee in the pool. I know what happens,
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: and I think I'm the only one man enough to
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: admit it.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: I do not pee in the pool.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Me neither.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: I do not believe either of you. What I genuinely don't.
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: I don't believe. I definitely don't believe Pooh Wow.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't be in your pool.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: Pooh you pee everywhere. You probably pee twice in the studio.
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: I just don't believe you. I just don't. I'm just
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: honest about it, and I say no. There's times if
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: I tell you, like I went to our bosses how
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Zan yeah, and she's like, please don't pee in my pool,
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: and I said, Okay, I won't.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: So you think that it has to be, you know,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: a official rule of the pool before you don't do it?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Right. Where do you work where you have to tell someone, hey,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: please don't pee in my pool exactly.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: I had to tell Billy, really seriously, please do not
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: pee in my pool.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: But guess what I didn't.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: I really genuinely didn't pee in her pool. I I
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: got I wanted to, and I thought about it.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I'm like, she's not gonna know, but I didn't. I didn't.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: So proud of you.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Thank you very much. Speaking a pool, this was very weird.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Did you see the news that came out what Adam
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Sandler does in the pool. No, what, maybe I just
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: want to get in the pool today.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Adam Sandler wears socks in the pool. Why, I don't know.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I'm like, what so I was reading regular Socks.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: Yes, I guess his daughter was doing some I don't
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: know if she's doing a podcast or whatever. But she
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: says that he wears his socks in the pool because
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: he can't bend down to take.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Them off on land.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: So he jumps in the pool, he takes them off,
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: he drains them, and then he uses them to play
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: catch in the pool.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Excuse me, I'm not I'm reading this, but not on land.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: He can't reach on land.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Oh, bro, that's a bigger issue.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: What do we do?
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: But he plays basketball and stuff. I don't understand why, kid, because.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: He doesn't have the flexibility or.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I mean, I kind of get it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: But no, man, okay, because if he's on one foot
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: and he takes one sock off at the pool, he
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: won't fall.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Down right right.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: So he's like, I'll just get in the pool with
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: my socks and then I'll take him off.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Wow, there's got to be a better way to do it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: Bro.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like that something Poo would do. Though,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: go to a chiropractor. I can take loud socks off
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: of man. I honestly don't know. I'm not jumping in.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: We've never seen two things. We've never seen Pooh. We've
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: never seen Pooh's apartment, which is weird after thirty years.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: We've never seen his apartment. And we've never seen.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Him touch his toes. I could touch my toes.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Can you take your sock off?
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: Standing up?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Wait? Hold on, he's doing it. Wait wait, wait doing it.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he's touching his toes.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Everybody's bending over touch my toe. I don't know, but
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, it's actually kind of surprised
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: how well he wow. And I'm not even out of breath.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: I can touch him on the third thing we haven't
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: seen Pooh do it. It's actually three things.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Okay. Third thing is he says he can water ski.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: We're never going to see.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: That, okay, I mean, because I feel like if we were.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: He said he can water ski, five hundred dollars is
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: on the table if he can water ski within three
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: attempts to get up on.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: The skid, five attempts. But okay, I'll do ten attempts.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: No, I won't, I'll do five it's even a tamp
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: poo can just get lucky if you could stand up
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: and water ski for I.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: Just got I just gotta get these knees locked in.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: But I can do it. I know that's the problem. Yeah,
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: how are you gonna get them locked in? I just
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: gotta I can do it. I just need to practice first.
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: When's the last time you water ski?
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Probably about fifteen years ago.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: Oh really, I got a thousand dollars on it.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: It's tas tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: In the morning only on the new Mix one two
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: point nine.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: What is going on there? Candice slow Pez.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Well a lot a salmonella outbreak linked to jalepeno peppers
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: has been expanded to twenty seven states, including Texas. So
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Chapote and Kudoba actually pulled Kalipenno's from their restaurants yesterday
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: because of concerns about this.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: The CVC at FDA are investigating the outbreak, but say
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: they don't consider there to be an ongoing risk from
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: either of those restaurants. But just a heads up, here
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: we go again?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: What now go to the store and get klopagnos question.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: I think it's a specific place that sources those to
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: those particular restaurants, which is why they're saying this. But again,
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: that could be a place that sources to the grocery store.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: I don't know for sure.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: Well, it's like one thing after another. I can't eat lettuce,
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: I can't eat kalapenos.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Do you have a farm right now? I mean you
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: need to get one.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Well of the day, I don't have a farm right now.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Let me really go out and grab a farm real quick.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I'm saying you need to get a farm. You need
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: to get a garden. It's the only way.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Farmer billy like these days, farmer pooh over here, Just
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: lettuce and jollopenos.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Do your thing. Guys. Owners of newer BMW's are complaining
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: because they're getting ads for the new Spider Man movie
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: on their dashboards. So they're saying a banner ad for
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: the movie shows up when they start their cars. You
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: have to actually click on it to see the full ad,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: but people are saying this is way too much. It
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: takes over the full display screen on the main control screen.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: The full ad is a nineteen second animation with music
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: and a light show that actually syncs up through the
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: car's ambient lighting system, and it's.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Some you didn't agree to, right, right.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: So it's kind of like when YouTube forced that song
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: under our iPods back in the day and I got
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: so mad.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I think a lot of people did.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I'm like, I didn't download YouTube, right, I don't.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Want to just be on shuffle. Then all of a sudden,
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: here you too, Yeah, get that out?
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: And then you couldn't even delete it at first, right,
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: And I was like, get this off my iPod shuffle.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: A lot of people are saying that about their cars.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: There's no skip for the banner ad either. This is
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: supposed to be happening through August tenth, so just a
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: heads up.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Do you have to watch it before you drive?
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Yes, I think we have to. Well, I'm not before
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: you drive, but I think as soon as they start
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: their cars up, the banner ad shows that, you know
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: how like on these newer cars, it'll show like the
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: logo of the car brand or whatever, do some fun animation.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I think it's like that.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: So can you imagine having to go somewhere real quickly?
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: You got to get out of there, but you can't
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: because you have to watch an ad first.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Oh well, guys. The State Fair of Texas just announce
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: their finalists for the twenty twenty six Big text At
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Choice Awards. So the categories again this year are Best Taste, Savory, Sweet, Sipper,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: and then Most Creative. So they're saying they had more
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: entries this year than ever before, seventy seven entries from
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: forty six concessionaires. So the top fifteen finalists are moving on.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: So if you want just a little preview of what's
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: to come. In the savory category, there's a Flame and
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Crunch of Pizza, which is basically a pizza with flaming
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: hot Cheetos on top.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I'm down.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: It looks cool, Nacho wings which is like wings with
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: nacho toppings, and then that's all put on a bed
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: of hot fries.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Oh that sounds good. Sweet category is my favorite. You've
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: got Fernies frozen espresso teeny Bar, which looks interesting. And
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: then the Fletcher's Chocolate Corny Dog is also one of
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: the finalists. Yes, which is fun. It's basically smooth milk
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: chocolate fudge hand dipped in Fletcher's famous Corny Dog batter
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: and then they put a little icing on it so
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: it looks like Mustard.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Well, if I'm telling you, I'm just tell you right now.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: If I act a little bit different around here, it's
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: because i'm a judge this year.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I heard. Yes, I'm excited for you.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: I've done a lot of things in my career, but
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: I'm the most excited about this.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Well, the winners are going to be announced Tuesday, August eighteen,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: so you probably need to start going through it and
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: getting a preview for yourself, I think.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: So.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I'm Kanda Slopez. Those are your Texas
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Top Stories. The new Mixed one O two point nine,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Dirty Little Secrets.
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: Makes one or two point nine, it's failing, the kid
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Candice slow Pass, producer poo And if you got a
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: secret eight three three seven eight seven, one O two nine,
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: doesn't matter what it is, I always say big secret,
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: small secret, will keep it anonymous.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Just confess.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: Okay, I have been wanting to get this off my chest.
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: I've been with my boyfriend now for almost twelve years,
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: and like I mean, honestly, it's hard to believe that
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: we've been together for that long. Just like blown By,
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: and I'm being honest here, probably half of our relationship
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: has honestly, been pretty toxic. We met really young, so
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: I try to give you know, as much grace as possible.
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: But we've made like a lot of dumb decisions, and
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: we've heard each other and we stayed together through those
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: things that probably most couples would have broken up over, because.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Being with someone twelve years is a long time.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: This boyfriend and girlfriend.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: It's just boyfriend and girlfriend. So a lot of this
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: relationship has been a little toxic.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, like we start it out knowing each
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: other in high school and he was the man that
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: every girl wanted back then.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: All state football player in.
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: High school, he played in college hat six packs, he
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: was incredibly in shape, and I mean yes, he was
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: a total player though because he knew he could get
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: away with it. We definitely have survived through the rough
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: years somehow.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: But over time he really has made a lot of change.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: The change is not all good.
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: I actually haven't been that open about this, but I'm
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: not going to marry him until he loses weight.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Wait, oh, that's not what I expected. I know it all.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: It's so shallow.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: You said you're not going to marry him. So he's
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: okay Because I got this picture in my head of this,
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: like all buff.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Dude, Yeah, can't commit.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: To you still. So you're saying that he's so over
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: the years now he's gained weight.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it bothers me.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: And I mean, I just think what happened is that
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: he used to be really driven, he was competitive, he
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: was really confident, he took pride and taking good care
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: of himself. Now he's just like a guy with a
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: regular job, comes home, sits on the couch. He has
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: gotten just he's taken things really comfortably and he just existing.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: It seems you haven't told him that this is why
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: you're not going to marry him though, or you did
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: tell him.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: I told him, I haven't told him this exactly. He
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: has brought up marriage the last time that he did it.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: I said, you know, we need to be in a
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: different place first, and by that, I said, you know,
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: you need to work on yourself.
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: Oh but you meant a different body.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: You need to work on your truth. Okay. You never
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: told him that.
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: Okay, never actually have said like, Okay, I just need
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: to be with a guy who's ambitious, discipline, confident in
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: himself and he's just not.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: I get where you're coming from. I think you know,
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: so you're saying it's more than just physical. Obviously he's
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: gained weight. That happens, people go up and down and
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: wait whatever you're saying, it's more just overall things. So, yeah,
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: you don't want to marry a guy who's overweight, but
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: he's also not driven.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: He's yeah, he's friends who split up because of the
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: same reason.
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: Like, I totally get this is not popular opinion, but
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: I think a man should be someone his family can
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: depend on, and part of that to me is like
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: him taking care of himself and being healthy. I just
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: don't want to see myself spending the next twenty years
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: begging my husband to exercise, well, worrying, you know, if
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: he's going to have a heart attack by the time
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: ninety's fifty.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Oh, I mean, is it.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: The ambition when it comes to exercise or ambition in life,
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: because I think they're kind of a little different.
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you he's a man that can easily
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: bleed into each other. Yeah, you know, your physical appearance
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: dictates a lot, and your drive in general can also.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: You know, you just when you get a little bit
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: older and and honestly, and I'm not going to speak
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: for your boyfriend.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: He could be going through something mentally too. Yeah, and a.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: Lot of men do they hit a wall where they
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: feel like yeah, no, oh, of course anyone can be.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: But I'm just saying, as a man who at once
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: was an all state football player and was the man
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: in high school, now life is a little bit more normal,
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: He's not the man right, and all of a sudden
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: things are different, and that can mess with your mind
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: I mean, I feel like this is a maybe of
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: like an epidemic, but I feel like some men have
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: just gotten so comfortable and like.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: They feel they just don't have to push.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: Themselves anymore and they don't feel like leading, and somewhere
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: along the way they just lose also their self confidence.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Yeah wow, I get but.
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: This is a team effort. You need to help him,
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying, talk to him.
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: I am. I'm trying to definitely be delicate. I love
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: this man for sure, I'm not gonna leave him over this,
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: But you know, if he asked me to marry him again,
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: before anything changes, I'm gonna just straight up tell him
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: the truth.
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: I'm just saying, like if the tables were turned and
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: he told you, Hey, I'm not gonna marry you till
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: you lose them weight.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: How would that I wouldn't say that to anyone. No,
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: So that's definitely not the way you bring it up.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: But I mean, I definitely think that's the last thing.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: If you're going to bring up anything when it comes
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: to appearance, you bring up health. And I want you
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: to be healthy if you're going to lead our family,
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: which if you're marrying me, you're going to be the
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: leader of our family, and you you should be physically
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: fit and healthy.
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: I need to be able to rely on you.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: And I get that. I mean that makes sense. If
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: you're in a relationship and somebody depends on you, your
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: health matters to them for sure, and it should matter
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: to you too. So I mean, I think you should
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: be honest with him and say, listen, I've noticed this
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: and I'm worried about you.
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Maybe a wedding would motivate him. Maybe y'all sweating for
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: the wedding, you know, maybe.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: Work out together, maybe you do something to get his motivation.
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: But maybe he's in a job he hates. Maybe you
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: motivate him and beat the support system he really needs, right, now,
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: but I definitely wouldn't bring up weight good luck.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I really hope it works out.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: If you can give us an update and you know,
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: follow up and just in a few weeks or months
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: call us up and tell us what's going on.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: Sure I will definitely and thank you all again for
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: the advice.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: Of course, should wait ever be an issue when it
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: comes to marrying somebody or not, I'll let you be
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: the judge. But by the DMS, I'm getting woo mad
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: at her calling her shallow, men and women saying she shallow.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: This is not a woman you even want by your side.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: I'm like, good lord, mixed one on two point nine
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: and we're about to get out of here.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: It's failing a kid. Candice lom Pas and producer Poo.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: We'll see tomorrow and tomorrow is Friday. Let's go.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: I'm excited too, because Wheel a Misfortune is tomorrow.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: We haven't been doing that every day.
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: We did it one week every day, which was enough.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: That was a lot.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: So we're gonna do it on Friday's tomorrow, and that's
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: where we do trivia. Whoever loses the trivia has to
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: spin the wheel. And on the wheel there's some new
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: stuff on it. We'll get into it tomorrow, but it
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: should be good, So we'll do that at eight thirty tomorrow.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: Plus a dirty little secret all that good stuff. Cannice
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: has been going crazy this week. Yeah, doing all this stuff,
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: all these summer adventures, wearing me out.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Well, today is my day to just chill because I
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: just have work to do in some meetings later today.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: But I I'm expecting an important phone call because today
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: is when our teachers call us to let us know
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: that our kids are in their class. So I'll find
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: out who Enzo's teacher is, and then I'll be on
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: the mom group chat trying to figure out who's in
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Enzo's class, if you got any of his friends.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: It's a busy day.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: So they don't do it like we used to do
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: it back in the day.
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: Remember when we used to ride our bikes up to
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: the school and just look at the list on the windows.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: She frite, how fun.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Now they call you up like you're being drafted.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: They call us and say hi, they say I'm missing
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: lah blah blah. I will be Enzo's teacher this year,
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: looking forward to you know.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Whatever they do.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Yeah's exciting now, but then we all got to hit
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: the mom chats and be like whose class is he
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: in and.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: Go gossip right about the teacher? Yeah, the other kids
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: in the class. All right, well, that'll be fun.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: It's a cool.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Teacher clock today.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I get the call, so you get on the dot.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, well it will be that's when they'll start at
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: two o'clock, so it'll probably be between two and three.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Can't believe they do it that way.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of fun.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: That is kind of cool.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I wouldn't have wanted that though back in the day.
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: I'd rather just because I don't want my mom already
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: talking to the teacher right away.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Yeah, she's going to do that enough in the year. Yeah. Alright,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: have a good day. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye.
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: One O two point does the new mix one O
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: two point nine
