Transcript
- 0:00Yo, so check this out. I know, y'all know who Paul Hayman
- 0:03is. For the people that don't know who Paul Hayman is, Paul Hayman
- 0:08was the owner of ECW, which was like a wrestling company in the nineties.
- 0:12They competed with WW. He was the owner. Yeah, so that's
- 0:19kind of like, I mean, he got to start before that, but
- 0:21that's kind of what put him on the map, like when he put ECW
- 0:23on the map. But basically what people would probably know him for is he
- 0:30was kind of the one that gave Stone Cold Steve Auston his start as far
- 0:33as like getting him on the microphone and giving him that personality that everybody knows,
- 0:39Like even people that don't really know wrestling know who Stone Cold is,
- 0:41you know what I mean. So like that's probably like his big claim to
- 0:46fame. You know, he's been like brock Lessner's manager, you know what
- 0:49I mean. People know who brock Lessner is, you know obviously UFC WW.
- 0:55I mean he's I mean, you don't gotta say nothing bout brock Lessner.
- 0:58That man is a beast. But anyway, I was listening to him
- 1:02on Rick Rubin's podcast. He was on there. Yeah, man, he
- 1:06was the latest episode. Oh shit, I'm definitely watching it. That's crazy
- 1:10how he would just have Paul Hayman on it. That's kind of random.
- 1:12Rick Rubin is a big wrestling fan shows and stuff, so and obviously he's
- 1:18Rick Rubin, so when those people want to say, yeah, what's up,
- 1:21you know, bringing back stairs and be friends and stuff. So compute
- 1:26to the continent, but compared to the content of Rick Ruben show was usually
- 1:29musically involved. Yeah, the new The New show is definitely just him talking
- 1:36to whoever. You know what I mean. I think I saw that he
- 1:38had like Owen Wilson on there. Um, obviously Paul Hayman, Like he
- 1:42got random people on there, you know what I mean? Okay, but
- 1:46I mean the Paul Hayman one. I'm not done with it. But it's
- 1:48because it's like three hours, but it's one of the longer ones. They're
- 1:51usually like an hour and a half from what I saw. But anyway,
- 1:55um, they kind of got into his weight right, and uh, it's
- 1:59a big Rick Rubin kind of asked him like, like, you know,
- 2:02where where the weight issues and what does he think they're related to? You
- 2:07know, like you think it's stress or whatever. And he mentioned how his
- 2:13mom was very pro him like indulging in food and everything because his mom was
- 2:21actually a Holocaust survivor, right Hayman's. So when he was small, she
- 2:29would kind of just like have him eat, and she you know, loved
- 2:31feeding him. And she never they never taught him like to like watch his
- 2:36portions or any like health type stuff. Like they just fed him, you
- 2:39know. And he was saying, like she literally was like in Auschwitz,
- 2:44you know what I mean, Like she grew up, she saw thirteen of
- 2:49her cousins starved to death, and two of her grandmothers died of starvation.
- 2:54And obviously in like the camps and stuff, she saw plenty of famine and
- 2:59starvation, you know what I mean. Like it was kind of even cy
- 3:01crazy that she, like her story's even crazy, like how she even made
- 3:06it to get to the United States. And really, you know what I'm
- 3:08saying. And that was kind of the thing that propelled her to be like
- 3:14that with him, Like she was like, Yo, she just loved to
- 3:15see him eat. She always wanted him to eat. She never wanted him
- 3:17to be hungry, because like that was like the thing she carried, you
- 3:21know what I mean, And then like, I don't want to give it
- 3:23away, you know, so if whoever wants to listen to it, you
- 3:25can check it out. And even if you're not a fan of either one
- 3:30of these people or you don't even know who they are, it's a great
- 3:32conversation. And there's a lot of layers as far as like firsthand accounts of
- 3:38crazy things in history, you know what I mean, it's super dope.
- 3:40But basically it was just crazy to think like that that could be the root
- 3:46of his overweight, if his overweighting his issue, you know what I mean,
- 3:51like for him to be overweight, and that kind of be the origin
- 3:55story of that and why he's and he's self admitted, you know, he
- 3:59admitted himself that he's obviously not been on top of it. He's not good
- 4:03at keeping a diet and exercising and stuff like. He's not making an excuse
- 4:06for it, but it was the thing that was going on until he realized,
- 4:12like, oh dang, I have a weight issue. Where did it
- 4:13come from? It came from this, you know, And I just never
- 4:16thought that an issue like that would come from something like that, you know
- 4:21what I mean, like, that connection is so crazy. I wonder how
- 4:25long it took him to realize with the connection, you know what I'm saying,
- 4:29because some people, you know, some situations happen where people are the
- 4:31way they are and they never knew why, you know what I mean.
- 4:34Like, so I'm wondering how long it took him to kind of realize that
- 4:39it's crazy. I'm not a parent. I am not a parent. I
- 4:45didn't want to see it. Like I said, I'm not a parent,
- 4:46but I see parents with overweight kids, Like I see to a point where
- 4:53it's like it looks like they're unhealthy. And I was like, how do
- 4:55you let your kid get that unhealthy? But you know, you never know
- 5:00what that parent goes to to allow of their kid to just eat whatever they
- 5:03want. Yeah, it was like super left field, like going to that
- 5:11from the question that Rick Rubin gave him, you know what I mean,
- 5:13Like, yeah, to get into that kind of backstory and that kind and
- 5:15he kind of told the whole story and it's mine. It's even crazier than
- 5:19what I just told you, you know what I mean. And when you
- 5:23know that's kind of like the root of it. She always had that thing
- 5:26about her where it's like, nah, I don't want you to go hungry,
- 5:30you know what I mean? Like it always shuck with her, which
- 5:32makes sense mentality, she was not gonna let she was not going to neglect
- 5:39her child of food, especially because she was always collected of food. That's
- 5:46crazy, but I feel like that's a natural response though, because I feel
- 5:48like a lot of us, you know, I'm not a parent, you
- 5:51know, Joe You're not a parent obviously, Leicester you are, you know,
- 5:55And I feel like, even with me and Joe not being parents,
- 5:59you know, of the things that we probably think about hypothetically is like,
- 6:02you know, I never want to see my kid go through what I went
- 6:04through. I want to give them better than what I had. And you
- 6:08know, if that's what she went through, of course, you know,
- 6:10nah, I want to see him eat, you know what I mean,
- 6:12Like it just kind of makes sense. No, my niece was here,
- 6:15like I made her pancakes every morning, but I put watermelons on there,
- 6:19like eat your watermelons, so I may. She wanted French fries and she
- 6:23goes full. I'm like, you gotta eat at least the rest of the
- 6:26chicken, Like you need what supporting there, the proteins of five bridges of
- 6:29vitamins. So I didn't just get the McDonald's every day just because I'm lazy.
- 6:33Like I'm like, nah, you gotta be fed, right, And
- 6:36it's important it's your kid or not. It starts at a young age how
- 6:42you see health and how you see what goes into your body. Yeah,
- 6:46And there's so many aspects of growing up that sometimes like I know I've done
- 6:51it, Like where I even judge myself so harshly as a kid when it's
- 6:58like I was a kid, you know what I mean, Like that wasn't
- 7:00my mom wasn't developed there. I didn't have, you know, certain guidances
- 7:03there to kind of lead me to think another way. So where is that
- 7:08going to come from? If it's not coming from anywhere? You know what
- 7:11I mean? Yeah? Great exact no special on TV, that's for sure.
- 7:16Facts facts, It's very interesting. Yeah, I'm gonna watch that.
- 7:21I'm gonna catch that Paul hey Man episode. That's what I've been playing at
- 7:25WW game and he's been a part of that. And like I said,
- 7:28I actually googled because I saw an ECW clip, but it was like Hayman
- 7:32Flair Hogan seeing uh, everybody like in twenty eleven on ECW, I was
- 7:40like, why were all these people in ECW. Uh It's because it was
- 7:44like a downtime in WWE, and they made hell A Rackett over there and
- 7:46have WWW. Was like all right, everybody come back then. Yeah.
- 7:51It was like the brand carries so much weight that they could like draw a
- 7:56crowd just off of the name, like Yo, we're gonna do some ECW
- 7:59stuff and everybody's like, oh word. Because it's like for the people that
- 8:01didn't really catch it at the time, like ECW was like the coolest stuff,
- 8:07like the using like like dope music in the show. The wrestlers were
- 8:11like way more realistic, like they're the ones that change. Yeah, they
- 8:16made WW change because before that, you know, WW was like the corny
- 8:20stuff you would see. After that is when like you've seen the Rock and
- 8:22Stone Cold and all that stuff like that came from here. Yea even was
- 8:26Roman Rains manager and a big part of Roman Rains career. It's like he's
- 8:31managed the night. Yeah, he's like the field night. He recognized who
- 8:35was gonna be like the actual star and he stuck right by the motherfucker's mhm.
- 8:41It's crazy, man, And even uh like even to kind of tied
- 8:45into sports, like even what's going on right now with the whole Bob Myers
- 8:48and the Warriors thing, where like everybody's kind of anticipating what's gonna be his
- 8:54next move, Like what's that? I'm not aware of that. So basically
- 8:56Bob Myers was the GM for Golden State, so oh, yeah, like
- 9:03the one putting together the deal he stepped down in. Yeah, he stepped
- 9:07down after this season, and people are kind of like trying to see like
- 9:11they're saying he might go to ESPN. They're saying he might just like chill
- 9:16for a little bit and see what job opens up he wants to take,
- 9:20because he's like a covert the GM, you know, and they're they're just
- 9:26it's a it's a funny dialogue because they're all trying to figure out like why
- 9:30did he step down? Like it's like, oh, he's seen he's seen
- 9:33the Warriors dynasty fading, or oh he had issues with this. Speculation runs
- 9:37rampant, bro when someone makes his ship, you think you never would,
- 9:39just like Channing Sharp, they're like, why why could be? Yeah,
- 9:43when it could be just as simple as like I'm tired brom Like, yeah,
- 9:50sometimes they don't even be you know what I'm saying, all this crazy
- 9:52stuff people be saying, I have heard about Steve Kerry. Where have you
- 9:56heard of that? The favorites you? Oh no, what if that it's
- 10:05all record that he had said that he intends or is interested in taking over
- 10:09for Pop. That'll be dope, man. Yeah, I can definitely see
- 10:15that. One rumor that I'm not liking is Chris Paul might come to the
- 10:18Spurs. I didn't see names coming to the Spurs. But the only respect
- 10:24of it that I like, just based on what Bill Simmons was talking about
- 10:28when he mentioned it, he was like, at least it could be kind
- 10:31of like, how do you say it? A mentorship thing for Yeah,
- 10:35for wmbon Yana, you know what I mean, Like, Hey, here's
- 10:39a you know, an established guy that's gonna kind of show you the ropes
- 10:43how you should handle yourself in the league, how you should work. You
- 10:46know what I'm saying. And from that aspect it might be dope. But
- 10:50I mean, and I don't think we talked about that, like, you
- 10:52know, generational talent and once in a lifetime talent. You think, whoever,
- 10:56it's gonna be that guy, Like a lot of people really don't know
- 11:00who this guy is and he could be the next staff for Lebron or KD.
- 11:05How do you feel about that? It just all depends on his body,
- 11:07bro, that's I look at it. That's I was gonna say the
- 11:11same thing, like I feel like he's coming in completely different than Yannis,
- 11:16but similar in the sense of what is he going to do over the next
- 11:20few years to get into NBA? You know what I'm saying. Yannis is
- 11:24not a good example because Yannis is very proportional. He's now, but he
- 11:31used to be mad. Yeah, but even before he's like six eleven.
- 11:35You know what I'm saying, he's once you hit that seven foot seven two
- 11:39seven four bro, Yeah, this guy is ridiculously tall. History is not
- 11:43on his side. Like a better example is KD. KD is like too
- 11:50long for the type of guy that he is, Paus but and you look
- 11:54now like and k D already kind of like broke the mold. As far
- 11:58as like a big guy with his frame, how far they could take their
- 12:01career, Like nobody has been as durable and as reliable and as you know,
- 12:09consistent as him as far as like a late year player of that length,
- 12:15that kind of body, like he's it's literally unheard of. And he's
- 12:18not even that durable, like you know, he's always injured. But by
- 12:22now people like I was gonna say he's lost time. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:26but he's still a viable player that could, like you know, lead you
- 12:30in the playoffs. Like there's back in the day, like there was nobody
- 12:33that was ever that type of player, Like everybody that was his size,
- 12:37Like you look at Shock, you look at um Sean Bradley, Yao,
- 12:41everybody anybody that's seven foot or up. DeMarcus Cousins a d all of them,
- 12:46bro, they all break down like super fast. And that's been injured.
- 12:54Yeah, but he's proportional. He's not that tall. He's like six
- 12:56ten, six to eleven. Okay, I thought he's in the seventh No
- 13:01he ain't. He ain't that tall, but he's tall. They like it,
- 13:03super tall, Yeah, play like it, but it beat them,
- 13:07like the dudes that's like a little bit too stretched out. It's like,
- 13:11oh man, I hope I hope he could last. You know what I
- 13:15mean. Obviously no, I was just gonna say that. Obviously, I
- 13:20hope that he has a great and long career and he's a consistently great player.
- 13:24I'm not wishing nothing bad on him, you know what I'm saying,
- 13:28But like I said, history is not on his side. Yeah, I
- 13:33mean I feel that I saw a documentary last night. Um, I was
- 13:37really late, like to like three in the morning, just for no reason,
- 13:41and I watched this documentary on YouTube about basically it was like the Untold
- 13:46Story from um the Jordan documentary, and it was about Luke Longley and um,
- 13:52you know, basically hit him coming up in the whole situation with him
- 13:56and the Bulls, And Um, I say that to say, the reason
- 14:00that came up was because he is very He is a very untold story when
- 14:03it comes to his size and how good he was, Like, yeah,
- 14:07he was obviously on the probably aregably one of the best teams ever, but
- 14:15he wasting center. I mean, yeah, he was reason yeah exactly,
- 14:20he wasn't a bum dog. And I say that to say, like,
- 14:24he had a pretty good career. But go see your point after he left
- 14:28the Bulls and went to the Suns. You know, the chemistry obviously wasn't
- 14:31there and his body just started basically messed up his ankle and that's when he
- 14:35had to basically leave the lea the league. But yeah, man, um,
- 14:39that's a good point. That is a great point. I still think
- 14:43that if he gets a little bit more NBA size on him, he'll he'll
- 14:48be a problem. But also his linkiness gives him the ability to do everything
- 14:50he does. So I don't know how they're gonna manage. We'll see.
- 14:54Yeah, I feel like he just gotta get not a lot of size at
- 14:58all, not even almost like little bit more size, and just work on
- 15:03his um like uh, I don't know, I don't know how, like
- 15:07just lateral movements just so he could be effective on the on the perimeter,
- 15:11you know what I'm saying. Like, if you keep him like that where
- 15:15he can kind of just be spry still and get a little bit more weight
- 15:18on him, I think, you know, he could last a decent amount
- 15:22of time at least. But man, like I said, dog history is
- 15:24not on his side. Man, Yeah, it's gonna it's gonna be tough
- 15:28watching him. Um. What they I want to touch about is because yeah,
- 15:35uh, staying up late at night and and those nights we just stay
- 15:41up late, man, and like I found myself and it's because you know,
- 15:46Quincy brought something up in a chat, and it's sometimes my wife does
- 15:50when I when she can't sleep, not even when she can't sleep, when
- 15:52she goes to sleep, she puts on like true crime documentaries. So I've
- 15:58gotten to the point where where I can't see I put the same thing on.
- 16:02And for me, it's just the monotone sound of it, uh,
- 16:07because the way they do it's kind of like the poets when they get on
- 16:10and do the spoken spoken word. They have kind of like a melody and
- 16:14a flow with it. And I feel like the true crime podcast I listened
- 16:17to the same kind of way. It's low, monotone, and they keep
- 16:19it like not not suspenseful, just kind of leading into the topic. It's
- 16:25it's done in a way where it's like consistently piquing your interests, like everything
- 16:30that they're saying is leading to something. So yeah, you're intently watching it
- 16:34and who no, But I think it's a different me and I think I
- 16:41want I want to let Quincy get into that because he's the one that sent
- 16:44it out, uh, and just kind of talk about that. I think.
- 16:47I think it's a good conversation. Um. I mean so for me,
- 16:51it piqued my interest because one of the things that she mentioned in the
- 16:55video was basically like, um, people see peace kind of like as like
- 17:03some people they'll see peace as boring, you know, like it's like when
- 17:07the mind is calm, you know what I mean, I'm bored, you
- 17:11know. And um, I thought that was really interesting because like, for
- 17:15example, my fiance, but she falls asleep to TikTok's like literally she will
- 17:21scroll until she falls asleep. I have to pull the phone in our head
- 17:23out her hand and I tell her every time, like yo, stop doing
- 17:26this. But that's her, you know what I'm saying, that's that's what
- 17:30she does. And you know, for me, typically I'll put on like
- 17:37a YouTube like sleep video or whatever something like that, and I'll go to
- 17:40sleep to that. But if I can't sleep, then I just fall asleep.
- 17:44I'll watch TV until I do fall asleep, you know. But I
- 17:48don't know, it's just weird, it's interesting, Like you know, that
- 17:52whole concept was very interesting to me because I feel like when I, like
- 17:56I am calm or my mind is at ease. Those sleep videos work wonders.
- 18:02But when I got a lot on my mind, I'll listen to those
- 18:04sleep videos and I'll just be thinking while I'm trying to go to sleep.
- 18:07You know, I can't go to sleep, you know, So that's why
- 18:10I got to put something on TV to distract myself. I don't know,
- 18:12it's just very interesting. When she you know, said that house she broke
- 18:15it down, it was like, I don't know, it's curious. I'm
- 18:18curious to see what y'all thought about it. Yeah, I go to sleep
- 18:21to Living Single right now, they've been on that Living Single wave. But
- 18:26that's the thing. Do you put something on that will allow you to fall
- 18:30asleep that you're not going to pay attention to? And like this is what
- 18:36this is why I'm trying to collaborate on this, because this is a conversation
- 18:40that mean your wife have all the time about the content we put on and
- 18:42go to sleep. Like one time, I said, let's put something to
- 18:45turn down to and I put like a Marit's got talent, and she started
- 18:49cracking up. She's like, this is the most lively show fun TV right
- 18:53now. She's like, what do you do it? And I was like,
- 18:56I don't know, but to me, this is something that I don't
- 18:59really want to pay attended to. It's cool in the background. I'll listen
- 19:02to it and I'll fall asleep. But she's also somebody who for some reason,
- 19:07she can't fall she can't like make herself fall asleep like m you know,
- 19:12forcefully, like with me, I turned to the side, I close
- 19:15my eyes, I go to sleep. I'm out, Yeah, that's what
- 19:19I did, bro. And I tell it like like, well, it's
- 19:22time Tuesday. I turned around, I close my eyes. I go to
- 19:26sleep like a cartoon character dog. Yeah. She hates it. And then
- 19:33like sometimes we talk about taking a nap and she's like, if my body
- 19:36lets me, I'm like, what does that mean? If your body lets
- 19:38like close your eyes turn around to go to sleep. Now I feel that
- 19:42though, because I can't take The only way I take a nap is if
- 19:45I'm dead tired. Bro. I can get like like an image in my
- 19:49head of like like seeing Joe one day and it's like, for whatever reason,
- 19:53like we need to make him fall asleep, right, So it's like,
- 19:56yo, we gotta make Joe fall asleeps all right? All right?
- 20:00So all right, I'm distracting real quick. So I'm gonna go above your
- 20:03head with a ladder and I'm gonna get a log and a saw and I'm
- 20:08just gonna start doing it. So it makes the sound in the cartoon like
- 20:11this, the snoring sound. Yeah, you're just gonna go ohh B and
- 20:18you're just gonna knock out dog. Yeah no. But but I tell you
- 20:22what, I slept the best in the last two weeks, and I slept
- 20:26a long time. And when I have something pending, like the day I
- 20:30had to take my niece to the airport, I didn't sleep at all.
- 20:33My mind doesn't let me sleep whenever there's a big project that I have to
- 20:37do, like I'm putting together report. I literally wake up every hour during
- 20:44the night, go back to sleep, dream about the report, and then
- 20:48I wake up and I try to, like I try to force myself dreaming
- 20:51something else. I dream right back in the report. Um. So I
- 20:55do have those times where no matter how hard I try, I don't fall
- 20:57in a good sleep, and that sucks. And I think about that and
- 21:03I'm like, what is it. Maybe it's something about me that I needed
- 21:07to like unpack. Um and especially with dreams. Do you guys ever,
- 21:12like really go deep into your dreams and like delving them and think about them,
- 21:17remember them so vividly. Yeah, I have to write mine down though
- 21:21I think about dreams. I remember all my dreams, and for the past
- 21:26like a few months, all my dreams have been some kind of turmoil in
- 21:32like an airport or like a shut up dude. My most reaccurring dream.
- 21:41And I think it's because, probably because I travel back and forth so much,
- 21:45it's in the airport losing my shit like my carry on my backpack or
- 21:49missing my reaccurring dreams and not even traveling, and I really consistency like a
- 21:56play dreams going through some kind of like turmoil trying to make the flight,
- 22:00like you know, trying to find something at the air next dream. Yeah,
- 22:10I wish I could tell y'all because I literally have to write my stuff
- 22:12down. If I don't write it down, I will not remember it.
- 22:17A matter of fact, Man, rest in peace, my dog read man.
- 22:21Last night I had a dream that so like the logic in my dream
- 22:26was like when somebody passes away, the next like when you're going to the
- 22:32funeral, they're there with like everybody gets ready together and the person's there with
- 22:37you and they don't know that they're dead, and they're kind of vibing and
- 22:42chilling. Everybody knows, but they're kind of like oblivious to it, and
- 22:48then when you go to the funeral, they're gone. So like that was
- 22:52like the logic in the dream. And he was like that guy in the
- 22:56dream, Like we're all getting ready, like just people that know him,
- 22:59his family, friends and everything, and he's kind of like walking around joking
- 23:03and laughing, and everybody knows but him. And even if you react to
- 23:06it, like if you know, when you start crying or something, he
- 23:10don't. He don't notice, you know what I mean. Like he's still
- 23:12like oblivious and you were one hundred completely aware of that during that dream exactly.
- 23:17Like that was the logic in the dream, and that was what was
- 23:19going on in the dream. And like when I woke up this morning,
- 23:22I'm like, oh my god, bro Like, it was like the craziest
- 23:26dream, bro Like, and it just felt so crazy. It was like
- 23:30the first thing I told my wife when I woke up, I'm like,
- 23:32yo, I just had the craziest dream. Yeah, yeah, And that's
- 23:36what I'm talking back to Quincy's topic, do you think what you fall asleep
- 23:42to influences what you dream about? Because you know, growing up they said
- 23:48don't watch scary movies because you're gonna have nightmare. Very rarely did that happen.
- 23:52I've had nightmares of nights like never watch scary movies. Like, how
- 23:55do you how do you guys feel about that? I think that's not not
- 24:00ahead you got it. I was gonna say, I think like certain like
- 24:04for me, I couldn't watch true crime stuff. I go to sleep,
- 24:07I'm gonna be one hundred percentimes because like at least just the way my mind
- 24:11works, and I know, like the way I fall asleep, like the
- 24:15way I drift off, the last thing I would hear obviously would be whatever's
- 24:21happening in that storyline. And a lot of times my mind takes me there.
- 24:29Yeah, I run right into that, and then I won't even remember.
- 24:30I might wake up in the middle of the night and then go back
- 24:33to sleep and have a whole new dream and forgot I've already had that dream.
- 24:37Yeah, yeah, but I know that that happens. Yeah, dreams
- 24:42are crazy. And then like I'll go through like a period where I just
- 24:45won't have no dreams, you know, saying like or no dreams that you
- 24:49remember, because I've I've I've looked it up, I researched it. You
- 24:52dream every single night, every single night, but you don't always wake up
- 24:56remembering anything but your brain. Night. But I'll tell you one thing,
- 25:02boy, I tell you one thing. Some nights I feel like it's sleep,
- 25:07black awake. Yeah, but that's why sleep. And when you're in
- 25:11the rim sleep, the rappid eye move and sleep when you're just like that
- 25:15is your deem is deepest sleep. And then that sleep is where you dream
- 25:21and your brain is constantly moving. Your brain doesn't shut down ever, right,
- 25:26your brain shuts down, you're not waking up, and but you wake
- 25:30up or you don't have no recollection about what you slept through because it was
- 25:33such a deep sleep that just was nothing. Yeah, dreams, dreams are
- 25:40crazy. Dog dreams are crazy. I just wonder how much like what what
- 25:45you watch when you sleep or listen to you see somebody think about when you
- 25:48see but I'll think about somebody, or like I'll be on the ground and
- 25:51I see somebody having talked to in the wall, and that night I'll dream
- 25:55about that person in my dreams and it's just like damn, like if I
- 25:57hadn't seen them with it have popped in my dreamline? Yo? Do y'all
- 26:02like, do you have dreams where you try to run and it's real slow?
- 26:06Yeah? I feel like that's that's the classic one. Bro. I
- 26:10hate that. Bro. When you try to scream and you can't scream,
- 26:11we try to blun somebody feels like you're punching yea, Yeah, that's the
- 26:18worst. Dog? Can you always be like you always gotta do like the
- 26:22easiest thing, you know what I mean? Like pick up a key off
- 26:25allege, but the key is mad heavy dog. It's like a little kid
- 26:29and you're like mad weak trying to pick it up. You know one thing
- 26:32I can't do in dreams, and I don't want to get too different dreams
- 26:36pause, but I could win myself up out a dreams. I know when
- 26:38I'm dreaming. I have a lot of dreams when I'm crashing the car,
- 26:41probably because I got a bunch of accidents when I was a kid. With
- 26:45all my cars. I cannot hit the break in my dreams. I cannot
- 26:49even if I I moved my my right foot on the break or my left
- 26:53foot of the break. I cannot hit the break. And a lot of
- 26:56times I'll be in my dad's car and I I literally like shake myself and
- 27:02make myself wake up whenever, Like the dream is not something I can tolerate.
- 27:07I can wake myself up out of a dream. When I worked at
- 27:11Subway as a kid, I had a dream one time that I had a
- 27:15whole shift and it was a busy shift, and then I woke up and
- 27:18had to go to work. That was like the worst day of my life.
- 27:21Dog, I just got a shift. Bro so much. Dog,
- 27:27It's like I already worked a subway And then I dreamed a whole shift five
- 27:32dollars foot longs, NonStop pause. I was tight. I was super tight.
- 27:37Damn No, I don't know if I told you. I don't think
- 27:41I told you about when I was really, really young. And I'm not
- 27:42gonna say the dreaming here because I definitely can't. I've had visions of this
- 27:48thing that I thought was a dream, and I was with my pops and
- 27:51my uncle, and then I think when I was like nineteen years old,
- 27:55we was in rude and we was having some dreams and I was like,
- 28:00Yo, did this ever happen? And he's like damn, Like he's like
- 28:03you remember that he was like three years old. And I was like,
- 28:06bro, I dreaket about this and thought about this vision my whole life and
- 28:08he's like, yeah, that happened. Nothing happened to me. It just
- 28:11happened to some around us that we saw and it was just crazy. Like
- 28:15I grew up my whole life thinking like what's his dream? And then it
- 28:18ended up being real. I got this one random memory from like when I
- 28:23was like two years old in Puerto Rico, and that's like the only memory
- 28:27I have of like that, Like that's my youngest memory, you know what
- 28:30I mean? Hm, it's crazy that do you have a youngest memory?
- 28:34You know how far you could remember something? Quincy um Man, some of
- 28:42my earliest memories that I can remember, it's like pre k Like I remember
- 28:48like there was just uh it's a little white girl that I had a little
- 28:52crush on and I used to try to life. I used to try to
- 28:56um na time iist slide. Matt told her if it wasn't you know,
- 29:04like this is the funny part about it. This is the funny part about
- 29:07it. This is the funny part about the s So I would do it
- 29:11real slow, like I would slide. I would try to slide myself real
- 29:12slow, and it would take some time. And then by the time whoever,
- 29:17the teacher or whatever came and realized, she would just dragged me back
- 29:19and I was like, oh, all that work. But nah, yeah,
- 29:29I think that's like one of my earliest memories. Man. I know
- 29:32I get stories from earlier, you know, before then, you know,
- 29:37but I don't really remember. Yeah, my sisters are big. You don't
- 29:41remember that because she's three years old and tormented me my whole Life's like,
- 29:45nah, man, I don't remember that ship. But I wonder sometimes like
- 29:49this ship we go through in our dreams, it is actually past memories that
- 29:53were just recreating. You know. I'm big our dreams. I grew up.
- 29:56My mom had a book of dreams, but in Spanish, and I
- 30:00couldn't really read that ship. But it was in the bathroom in the back
- 30:03of the on top of the toilet behind me, so I was just look
- 30:04at it, and I dreams have always fascinated me. Falling asleep fascinated me,
- 30:10like I purposely have tried to go into sleep paralysis and have them lucid
- 30:18dreaming. Yeah, like you can find out how to do it. There's
- 30:21certain ways you can do it, and I probably try to do it because
- 30:23I feel like that's a whole another realm. I've always been fascinated by it.
- 30:30So it was just a cool topic that we got into, and I
- 30:33was a little more anything y'all. But it's something that I've researched a line
- 30:41thought about the brain and they're just showing Netflix how things work and watched the
- 30:45Brain episode. Bro. The brain is something else like we've only unlocked my
- 30:49ten percent of our brains or something like that. Yeah, something I never
- 30:56really thought about to look into is like dreams and stuff like that. I
- 30:59don't I can't recall any kind of dream knowledge that I have, So that's
- 31:02that is a different episode of dreams too. Yeah. Now I was gonna
- 31:10say I have a lot of I don't know. It's like I have dreams
- 31:14and then things will happen in real life. And I was like, Yo,
- 31:18this happened before. I have that happen a lot. Deja vu happens
- 31:22a lot for me. I've definitely had that where like I'm in a situation
- 31:26and I remember it happening like in the past or in a dream or something,
- 31:30and I'm like, this is about to happen, and then it happens.
- 31:33Yeah, what I you know what, I honestly think that is like
- 31:37to me, it's just like people like, it's just really an expression of
- 31:45the monotonousness of everything. You get what I'm saying, Like how not unique
- 31:51situations are and how things repeat themselves. Like I feel like that thing is
- 31:56something that like some people just make too much of, Well we're doing the
- 32:00down but reincarnation, it's something that that's the next deeper level of what it
- 32:07is. And I'll wrap it up. Against want to share. Last thing
- 32:12I want to share. My father he moved to New York twenty seven.
- 32:17Listen, no last story I want to share. He moved to New York
- 32:22at the eight to twenty seven before I was born, my sister was born.
- 32:24My mom was like nineteen, and he was working in New York and
- 32:30he didn't have anywhere to stay, so he used to just ride the subways
- 32:32up and down to sleep on the subways. But he said when he was
- 32:37there, he knew where to go and what to do. Everything was so
- 32:43familiar to him. He knew he had been there before and had walked those
- 32:47streets before and had done the say he came from Peru, straight from Peru,
- 32:52never been to the States to New York City, and he said everything
- 32:58was just he already knew what to do, like he's already lived that life
- 33:00there. And these are deep talks to my pop side with stuff we share
- 33:05all the time. But there's something that influenced me to think about the brain,
- 33:08bro, and what their brain holds and and dreams and reincarnation deja vu
- 33:15all es year bro, something definitely I would love to get into if y'all
- 33:19ever want to. Yeah, we could do it next week, bro show
- 33:24yep, not bad had a call for real quick but yeah, man,
- 33:29we're kind of running down right now. Yo h. I just find it
- 33:36so funny how its how what stay buttered? M m mumm
