- 8:16Speaker 4: and as you're a good Catholic boy. I did go
- 8:20Speaker 4: to church on Christmas Day by myself. I wasn't on
- 8:26Speaker 4: my knees, but I was in church with a bunch
- 8:29Speaker 4: of old people and uh, you know, it wasn't even full.
- 8:33Speaker 4: And it was a ten thirty am mass, full choir, trumpets, drums.
- 8:38Speaker 4: It's kind of like sad, like the lack of you know, listen,
- 8:42Speaker 4: like I'm not like a big religious person or anything.
- 8:44Speaker 4: I just, you know, kind of feel like I can
- 8:46Speaker 4: need all the help I can get type of thing.
- 8:48Speaker 4: And I'm one of those Catholics that go to Christmas
- 8:51Speaker 4: or go to church.
- 8:51Speaker 5: On the holiday enough to go to Christmas or then
- 8:54Speaker 5: to go to church. Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 4: So and it's a very and it's right down the street,
- 9:01Speaker 4: so it's uh, I didn't want to upset the man upstairs,
- 9:06Speaker 4: if you know what a man toops just made it
- 9:10Speaker 4: evening all good morning and from down under. Yeah, Brian

- 10:03Speaker 5: Shit, who got him?
- 10:04Speaker 4: Okay, let's see.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Uh Stephen Froze or Stephen f Rose.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Whatever, Maybe he's frozen. It is blizzard. It is a
- 10:17Speaker 4: blizzard here. Now we have about three inches. I had
- 10:21Speaker 4: to spend like twenty minutes maybe five minutes with a
- 10:25Speaker 4: towel drying ruby off.
- 10:29Speaker 5: The various favorite three inches.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Three inches so far is predicted six to twelve, So
- 10:37Speaker 4: we're going to be growing as we go. Deedie Robert
- 10:43Speaker 4: mameir ex eh like, yeah, I'm working on my Italian
- 10:49Speaker 4: I've been watching YouTube videos. Actually, Mike the Library man
- 10:54Speaker 4: got I believe regift regifted one. I think he got one.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Before he's back in baby.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to re up those things though, mister Mike.
- 11:06Speaker 4: You know you can't just rely on the Double B. Right.
- 11:10Speaker 4: And Dave Sparks, Uh yeah, uncle Dave Slide. Yes, well
- 11:19Speaker 4: he's very elderly. Tony Holman, you made it, thank you. Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 4: I mean I figure after, you know, the family time,
- 11:29Speaker 4: we want to kind of disconnect and talk some JFK
- 11:32Speaker 4: dog star Sete I believe also from Australia. Right looking
- 11:36Speaker 4: forward to the show eleven eleven five eleven o five
- 11:41Speaker 4: am here in Sydney. I thought it was like seven
- 11:45Speaker 4: or eight am. It's almost noon there.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Huh that's far in the future. Yeah, he missed a
- 11:53Speaker 5: couple before the freebies. Oh turn, what up? Turn?
- 12:00Speaker 4: What at? Buddy? Sorry? I didn't need to miss you.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Uh and uh prova wan.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Yes, young, Yes, I love it.
- 12:10Speaker 4: The double be distracted me and your horn. Uh Frankie
- 12:15Speaker 4: G is here, frank x G.
- 12:18Speaker 5: My horn has been known to distract.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Yes, yes, Tiny dancer. Boxing day is for going to
- 12:27Speaker 4: the horse races in my family.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Okay, what do you mean by that?
- 12:34Speaker 6: Like the track apparently or like horses is in like
- 12:40Speaker 6: show horses and uh or racing racehorse bar racing.
- 12:47Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't know.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Cha bird who is let me? Don't stop me, Joline, Yes,
- 12:57Speaker 4: I got it.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Joe is learning.
- 12:59Speaker 4: I'm learning. I'm a slow learner, as we all know. Uh,
- 13:05Speaker 4: I am special for sure. Uh.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Hold on. Need to reward Joe when he gets things
- 13:16Speaker 5: right around here.
- 13:17Speaker 4: So I just I just did a bow.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that's my first bow. Uh for a while,
- 13:27Speaker 5: I'll be be my last.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Uh. Let me see if I miss anyone else. Uh,
- 13:32Speaker 4: and I haven't, so uh yeah, rob Let's Uh, why
- 13:37Speaker 4: don't you give a little intro of what we're gonna
- 13:40Speaker 4: talk tonight and then I'll get into mister Johnny Brewer.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Thank you, Joe, Thank you Joe. So tonight we're gonna
- 13:53Speaker 5: be talking about one of the key elements to the story.
- 13:56Speaker 5: There's several key elements I think, to the story of
- 14:01Speaker 5: the Kennedy assassination and the Oswald arrest subsequent to the assassination,
- 14:10Speaker 5: and this is one of them. And it's all about
- 14:15Speaker 5: the Texas Theater because there's I was gonna name this
- 14:19Speaker 5: this this episode, Joe, I was gonna name it convergence.
- 14:24Speaker 5: I was gonna name it something clever. And then I
- 14:25Speaker 5: saw that Gil Jesus beat me to it in an
- 14:30Speaker 5: education forum post oh, going postal on Julia Postal. So
- 14:38Speaker 5: I didn't want to steal his thunder. So let's figure
- 14:42Speaker 5: out that showing movie wars hell about you know whatever?
- 14:45Speaker 4: What? I thought that was a great I thought that
- 14:48Speaker 4: was a great When I saw it, I was like,
- 14:50Speaker 4: that's a really good title. And yes, I'm very aware
- 14:53Speaker 4: we're gonna get that to him shortly. I just a
- 14:56Speaker 4: brew as a yes.
- 15:00Speaker 5: But yeah, I just think convergence because it seems like
- 15:05Speaker 5: the stories that we're going to be talking about tonight
- 15:08Speaker 5: come together in a very magical way, if you will,
- 15:14Speaker 5: and it all stems. I mean, we we've we've done that.
- 15:17Speaker 5: The Tippet murder to death. Yeah, pardoners. So immediately following that,
- 15:27Speaker 5: you know, whoever was at whoever killed Tippet, ran away
- 15:36Speaker 5: and is likely the person arrested at the theater. Now
- 15:41Speaker 5: you can choose to believe that that man is Lee
- 15:42Speaker 5: Harvey Oswald, or you can choose to believe that it's
- 15:47Speaker 5: somebody else.
- 15:49Speaker 2: M h.
- 15:50Speaker 5: There is evidence to support both of these theories.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, two Scafusa's balconies. What was conflicting testimonies? Yeah,
- 16:04Speaker 4: it's uh.
- 16:06Speaker 5: So on one hand, you know, you have to look
- 16:10Speaker 5: at the timing of things, Joe, and when the timing
- 16:16Speaker 5: doesn't start lining up, you know, because a lot of
- 16:19Speaker 5: people out there believe that Oswald could not have made
- 16:22Speaker 5: it to the Texas Theater, I'm sorry to the scene
- 16:25Speaker 5: of the Tippet murder in enough time after he left
- 16:31Speaker 5: his rooming house too be the person to shoot and
- 16:37Speaker 5: kill tipp It. And that's a valid argument, very valid one.
- 16:41Speaker 5: You know when you when you when you figure that
- 16:44Speaker 5: the shots happened at twelve thirty one pm and you
- 16:48Speaker 5: go through the sequences of events that they have been
- 16:51Speaker 5: presented to us. You know, you have to figure the
- 16:57Speaker 5: last shot is fired and daily Plaza. You have to
- 17:02Speaker 5: run across the floor, hide the gun, get down the stairs,
- 17:07Speaker 5: cafoo's around for a little bit like you don't know
- 17:08Speaker 5: what's going on. Then sneak out.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Then walk second floor, second one, second floor encounter.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you got a couple of blocks away, Get on,
- 17:20Speaker 5: get on the bus, get off and off the bus,
- 17:24Speaker 5: walk to another couple of blocks, Get in the taxi,
- 17:27Speaker 5: get dropped off five blocks away from your rooming house,
- 17:30Speaker 5: and walk back five blocks, which takes time. You need
- 17:34Speaker 5: to go inside, you need to change your clothes, you
- 17:37Speaker 5: need to grab your pistol, you need to come back
- 17:40Speaker 5: out and be seen standing on the corner, not walking
- 17:44Speaker 5: away right.
- 17:47Speaker 4: By Robert.
- 17:49Speaker 5: And then somehow make it twelve to fifteen minutes from
- 17:54Speaker 5: like say one oh two, Uh to the scene to
- 17:59Speaker 5: kip it tippet killing and you know, then run around
- 18:05Speaker 5: the corner, which is where this story kind of picks up.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Yeah, dump your jacket and then uh have some skafuza
- 18:15Speaker 4: kind of follow you and uh, which would be Brewer
- 18:19Speaker 4: and uh, it's it's it's kind of a mess. So Rob,
- 18:24Speaker 4: as we usually like to do, we usually start with
- 18:29Speaker 4: the d b D first day affidavits. Right, Yes, I
- 18:36Speaker 4: want to ask you a question. Is there a first
- 18:39Speaker 4: day aff I'm gonna give you a couple of test questions.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Is there a first day Affidavid? Do you think for
- 18:46Speaker 4: Johnny Calvin Brewer?
- 18:50Speaker 5: Probably not, there is not.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Is there one for Julia Postal?
- 18:57Speaker 5: I can tell you there is not.
- 18:59Speaker 4: But Burroughs probably not. So are they trying to get
- 19:06Speaker 4: their ducks in a row? Because remember Oswalt was allegedly
- 19:10Speaker 4: arrested for shooting a police officer first.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Right, Well, you know here, like I mentioned in the
- 19:18Speaker 5: show before Joe that consequently to Oswald's arrest, things got
- 19:28Speaker 5: very messy very quickly, with the FBI trying to step
- 19:32Speaker 5: in and kind of take control of the investigation. Okay,
- 19:41Speaker 5: they wanted all the evidence against Oswald, including the Tippet shit.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Right now, I don't know how all this would have
- 19:50Speaker 5: worked itself out in the long run. I don't see
- 19:55Speaker 5: them transferring Oswald into federal custody, right mm hm, because
- 20:05Speaker 5: he would have had to stay in trial in Texas.
- 20:08Speaker 5: This was a this was a Texas crime, not a
- 20:10Speaker 5: federal crime. So I think had Oswald lived, they would
- 20:19Speaker 5: have had a field day in court with all this
- 20:21Speaker 5: evidence and chain of chain of custody. I mean, it
- 20:25Speaker 5: would have been a nightmare. Would have been a nightmare, nightmare.
- 20:30Speaker 5: And just from looking into the whole tipp It thing, uh,
- 20:35Speaker 5: it seems like to me that that investigation died with Oswald,
- 20:43Speaker 5: Meaning when Oswald died, the investigation of the murder of J. D.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Tippet stopped, right, which is what we've talked about with
- 20:52Speaker 4: with Hosty, Right.
- 20:55Speaker 5: He was concerned.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Yeah, but but with Hosty too like get rid of
- 20:59Speaker 4: the note, he's we don't need it Shanklin to host you.
- 21:03Speaker 5: That's it right, right? But now, the FBI did continue
- 21:08Speaker 5: to investigate certain aspects of the case, as we'll find
- 21:11Speaker 5: out tonight for the Warren Commission. You know, I believe
- 21:15Speaker 5: that they interviewed Brewer postal. I don't know about Burrows,
- 21:25Speaker 5: And of course they gave their testimony to the Warren Commission.
- 21:29Speaker 5: For what it's worth, it ain't worth much. And of
- 21:33Speaker 5: course in subsequent years people have tracked these people down.
- 21:38Speaker 5: I think Brewer just died in twenty twenty one, right,
- 21:45Speaker 5: he lived a relatively long life. I'm right, Joe, just
- 21:50Speaker 5: say yes, yes, okay, thank you. So, uh, you know,
- 21:58Speaker 5: I'm not surprised.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Yeah, he was only twenty two at the time, by
- 22:03Speaker 4: the way.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so I'm surprised. I mean, I'm not surprised
- 22:08Speaker 5: at the lack of official Dallas stuff, although I am
- 22:16Speaker 5: a little I guess left in wonderment why we don't
- 22:24Speaker 5: have same I mean, I guess they had their hands full,
- 22:28Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. Yeah, And really, in the
- 22:30Speaker 5: big scheme of things, these people aren't important, you know,
- 22:35Speaker 5: if you're looking at it from a thirty foot view, right, essentially, well,
- 22:42Speaker 5: because the story hasn't been made up yet, right, the
- 22:47Speaker 5: story hasn't been given a chance to grow and let breathe. Right,
- 22:52Speaker 5: I mean, they got a lot of shit going on,
- 22:54Speaker 5: you know what I mean. And Oswald they got him,
- 22:57Speaker 5: They got him. So at that point, you know, they
- 23:00Speaker 5: got probably the Sheriff's offices full of confuses, the Dallas
- 23:05Speaker 5: Police headquarters is full of confuses and press and everybody else.
- 23:08Speaker 5: So the focus shifts away from looking for Oswald or
- 23:14Speaker 5: looking for the suspect. Two they got him. Suspect is
- 23:21Speaker 5: in custody. He's been charged with murdering a Dallas police officer,
- 23:25Speaker 5: which means whoever killed Tippett is the guy that they
- 23:29Speaker 5: got in the in the Texas Theater. And that's where
- 23:33Speaker 5: their thinking was. So these people be talking about tonight
- 23:38Speaker 5: weren't necessarily necessary or instrumental at that time in getting
- 23:44Speaker 5: testimony from because it really didn't matter. They got their
- 23:47Speaker 5: guy in the end.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Well, well let me push back them out a little
- 23:51Speaker 4: bit because you have same day Affi Davids, and we've
- 23:56Speaker 4: gone through it. We do it everywhere Friday, do it
- 24:00Speaker 4: from every Skufuza witness in Daley Plaza. But the guy
- 24:04Speaker 4: that points out Oswalt and you know notices he's snooking
- 24:11Speaker 4: to the theater, You're not gonna get a first day
- 24:16Speaker 4: Affidavid for him. He it was sixteen days December sixth
- 24:22Speaker 4: that Brewer was first is the first UH interview on
- 24:30Speaker 4: the DPD portal to Texas History website sixteen days postal
- 24:36Speaker 4: fourteen days. So for me, they're trying to get their
- 24:39Speaker 4: ducks in a row. And I get it like they
- 24:42Speaker 4: might be going chronologically kind of like we do. But
- 24:45Speaker 4: I mean, come on, you're gonna get like some random.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Dude, Like I said, you gotta remember it. You're talking
- 24:51Speaker 5: when you're talking about first day after day it was,
- 24:52Speaker 5: you're talking about Dalley Plaza, Texas school Book Depository witnesses.
- 24:57Speaker 5: People's closest to the most horrible crime is entry. So
- 25:01Speaker 5: you're gonna want to be thorough right, and they were.
- 25:04Speaker 5: They got first aid affidavis from a lot of fricking
- 25:07Speaker 5: people those Like I said, the Sheriff's office and the
- 25:11Speaker 5: Dallas Police headquarters was full of scaffooz's that day, you know.
- 25:17Speaker 5: And you got to remember they got their man two
- 25:23Speaker 5: hours after the president Kenny shot, so they're already busy
- 25:28Speaker 5: taking all this other testimony in affidavis. Right, These these
- 25:32Speaker 5: people that we're gonna be talking about today at that point,
- 25:35Speaker 5: like I said, with thirty foot view, don't really matter very.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Much, right, Their secondary in a sense, right, it's.
- 25:43Speaker 5: When you start looking at things and what they have
- 25:45Speaker 5: to say under a microscope in a vacuum, the shit
- 25:51Speaker 5: gets a little squirrely. If you follow me, I do.
- 25:56Speaker 4: So let's get into it, Joe, all right, Well we
- 26:04Speaker 4: are going to start off with mister brew I'm gonna
- 26:09Speaker 4: have trouble with that name Brewer, Johnny Johnny Brewer, Uh,
- 26:20Speaker 4: Johnny de Bruce the Bruce. Hey, I'm happy to call
- 26:26Speaker 4: him that. That's much easier for me. All right, So
- 26:35Speaker 4: the first three pictures here on top of our mister
- 26:39Speaker 4: Brewer Brewer, We're going to get into that. Uh. On
- 26:43Speaker 4: the bottom left here is Butcher Burrow, and on the
- 26:46Speaker 4: right is a different picture I found of Ms Postal Julia. Yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 4: she's a kind of a babe. So let's go to
- 26:59Speaker 4: the first thing we well, let's go. Let's let's introduce him.
- 27:04Speaker 4: John Calvin Brewer was the son of a foreman on
- 27:08Speaker 4: a construction company. This is from spartacus dot com. John
- 27:12Speaker 4: Sipkin was born in Miami, Oklahoma, not to confuse you
- 27:17Speaker 4: with Miami, Florida. When he was two years old and
- 27:21Speaker 4: the family moved to Lockhart, Texas. After leaving Lockhart High School,
- 27:26Speaker 4: he studied at Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Where is San Marcos Somewhere in Texas I've never heard
- 27:39Speaker 4: it before.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Probably close to southern in the south, southern Texas, somewhere
- 27:43Speaker 5: at SMU. Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 4: He stayed only for a year before moving to Nixon
- 27:50Speaker 4: Clay Business College. In September nineteen sixty one, he found
- 27:55Speaker 4: employment at Hardy's Shoe Store in Austin, which, of course,
- 28:00Speaker 4: oh no, that's a different location. Ten months later he
- 28:04Speaker 4: was made manager of the store in Oak Cliff, Texas.
- 28:08Speaker 5: So it was kind of crack real quick, Joe, I
- 28:10Speaker 5: should trob to say this. People might be thinking these days,
- 28:15Speaker 5: all right, what a shit job been working in a
- 28:17Speaker 5: shoe store, right, But back in the day, working in
- 28:25Speaker 5: a shoe store was like kind of kind of not prestigious.
- 28:32Speaker 5: But it wasn't frowned upon as like a skufuzi job,
- 28:37Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 28:39Speaker 4: It wasn't, you know, doing the floors on the sixth.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Four guys war suits. They treated you like family when
- 28:47Speaker 5: you came in in there. You know, they they measured
- 28:51Speaker 5: your feet, they got to your shoes, they slipped them
- 28:55Speaker 5: on for you, they tied them whatever. They took care
- 28:59Speaker 5: of you from the moment you walked in that door
- 29:01Speaker 5: to the moment you walked out with your bag, because
- 29:04Speaker 5: they made commission on the shoes that they sold back then. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 5: so you know, back then you might think, okay, shoe salesman,
- 29:13Speaker 5: why is he going to all these business schools? And
- 29:15Speaker 5: then it star need to be a teacher and then
- 29:18Speaker 5: ends up working in a shoe store. These guys can
- 29:20Speaker 5: make good money working in the shoe stores back in
- 29:22Speaker 5: the day.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Now you know you work a foot locker, you know whatever, right.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Yeah, no, you could have bought a house as a
- 29:32Speaker 4: manager of the bookstore. I'm guessing at that point, you know,
- 29:35Speaker 4: And of course he can't buy a house these days
- 29:38Speaker 4: if you work, yes, or a shoestore, yeah, anywhere under
- 29:42Speaker 4: like one hundred grand, like good luck. Brewer was working
- 29:47Speaker 4: in the store on twenty second November sixty three. He
- 29:51Speaker 4: was listening to the radio when they broke in with
- 29:54Speaker 4: the bulletin that President JFK had been shot. After hearing
- 29:57Speaker 4: a news flash that Jad Tippett had been shot nearby,
- 30:02Speaker 4: he saw a man acting strangely outside the shop, and
- 30:06Speaker 4: we're going to get into whether he was outside or inside,
- 30:09Speaker 4: because the story kind of changes a little bit. The
- 30:12Speaker 4: police cars were racing. Quote, the police cars were racing
- 30:15Speaker 4: up and down Jefferson with their sirens blasting, and it
- 30:19Speaker 4: appeared to me that this guy was hiding from them.
- 30:22Speaker 4: He's referring to Oswald, of course. Allegedly, he waited until
- 30:28Speaker 4: there was a break in the activityly and then headed
- 30:32Speaker 4: west until he got to the Texas Theater. And this
- 30:35Speaker 4: is I believe fifty sixty feet away. I think it's
- 30:39Speaker 4: three stores down. I have a picture of it coming up.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Johnny Brewer went into the theater and spoke to Warren
- 30:48Speaker 4: Butch Burrows, the assistant manager. Burrows had seen him enter
- 30:54Speaker 4: the balcony of the theater. When the police arrived, Brewer
- 30:59Speaker 4: accompanied the office into the cinema, where he pointed out
- 31:01Speaker 4: the man he had seen acting in a suspicious manner.
- 31:05Speaker 4: After a brief struggle, Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested. So
- 31:12Speaker 4: as one does. This is a picture of the Hardy
- 31:16Speaker 4: Shoe store, and this is on the right and article
- 31:21Speaker 4: on November twenty seventh, which would be what five days
- 31:26Speaker 4: after the assassination. I believe this was in the Dallas
- 31:31Speaker 4: Morning News. The first fully detailed account. I mean, we're
- 31:39Speaker 4: going to go through all this, but it's it's again
- 31:43Speaker 4: November twenty second, twenty seventh. He's not interviewed by the
- 31:47Speaker 4: DPD officially under deposition until December sixth. So why the
- 31:57Speaker 4: hold up? Why the hold up?
- 32:02Speaker 5: I told you, I think they had their hands full.
- 32:03Speaker 5: And then once Oswald gets killed in custody, everything is
- 32:07Speaker 5: a fucking mess. And then the dust settles a little bit.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and then okay, but he played the major role
- 32:16Speaker 4: in getting Oswald arrested, which is what what bockles in
- 32:21Speaker 4: my mind.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Okay, well, excuse me, let me say this. Okay, maybe,
- 32:31Speaker 5: but these cop cars and the cops were already on
- 32:37Speaker 5: the run, like they were already looking they one of
- 32:43Speaker 5: their guys had been killed, right, So are they're already
- 32:46Speaker 5: looking for somebody on foot around this area? There's cop
- 32:50Speaker 5: cars all over the place. M hm. So the fact
- 32:56Speaker 5: that Brewer prompted postals to call the police and say
- 33:01Speaker 5: somebody's here, you know, that's significant. But again, the ultimate
- 33:08Speaker 5: prize here is they got him. They got him, and
- 33:12Speaker 5: that's all the matter in that moment, right, And you
- 33:16Speaker 5: don't know, you don't know how this is gonna end.
- 33:20Speaker 5: You know, you might think it's gonna end in a
- 33:22Speaker 5: trial until Oswald gets killed and until the FBI comes
- 33:27Speaker 5: waltzing in and co opting your investigation. But up until
- 33:33Speaker 5: that moment, once they figure this all out, then they
- 33:37Speaker 5: have to go back and start to start really backtracking
- 33:39Speaker 5: and crossing their t's and dotting their eyes and their
- 33:43Speaker 5: shit together because they know a formal federal investigation is
- 33:47Speaker 5: coming into the matter in the form of the Warren Commission.
- 33:52Speaker 4: And I agree with that, but I'm saying sixteen days,
- 33:56Speaker 4: and we've had two comments from Tony Holmland and Jock Taylor.
- 33:59Speaker 4: They had to get the narrative together and they had
- 34:01Speaker 4: to get the story straight. And I think, as you mentioned,
- 34:06Speaker 4: things were hectic, and maybe they were going chronologically, but.
- 34:11Speaker 5: If there was tracing, you know, everything from the point
- 34:14Speaker 5: of the assassination, and they probably did go chronologically. You know,
- 34:20Speaker 5: you're going to start in daily plaza. You're going to
- 34:22Speaker 5: start in the school book depository. You're going to start
- 34:25Speaker 5: by running down who knew this guy, who's related to
- 34:29Speaker 5: this guy, where was he living? Everything about the guy.
- 34:32Speaker 4: First, bringing in everyone on the sixth floor for.
- 34:36Speaker 5: Crew this is second. Then you got a second too,
- 34:40Speaker 5: right for the for the Kennedy crime. Then you get
- 34:44Speaker 5: to the Typic crime and all the witnesses, then you
- 34:47Speaker 5: get to the capture, then you get to his murder.
- 34:50Speaker 4: You know.
- 34:51Speaker 5: So there.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Ruby's happening. Yeah, I hear you under I just find it.
- 34:58Speaker 4: I just feel like there there was some aspect of
- 35:03Speaker 4: they're not sure what to do, and this kid, as
- 35:05Speaker 4: we're gonna hear from him shortly in a video twenty
- 35:08Speaker 4: two years old, right, young kid, younger than Oswalt. So
- 35:18Speaker 4: let me get back to this here, and this is
- 35:21Speaker 4: what I am talking about. So I go on the
- 35:24Speaker 4: DPD website and they go, I'm looking for the affid
- 35:27Speaker 4: David of Johnny Brewer, and one says date November twenty second,
- 35:32Speaker 4: sixty three, and the other one says December sixth, nineteen
- 35:36Speaker 4: sixty three. They are in fact the same exact statements,
- 35:43Speaker 4: of course, so I don't know if that's an error.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Who knows. We'll leave it up to you to decide.
- 35:50Speaker 4: But it just seems a little weird to me. And
- 35:54Speaker 4: let's get to his statement. Friday, November twenty second, nineteen
- 36:00Speaker 4: sixty three, I Johnny Brewer was at work at Hardy's
- 36:05Speaker 4: shoe store to thirteen West Jefferson. I heard on the
- 36:08Speaker 4: radio that the president had been shot, also that a
- 36:11Speaker 4: policeman had been shot in Old Cliff. At one thirty pm,
- 36:16Speaker 4: I saw a man standing in the lobby of the
- 36:18Speaker 4: shoe store. This isn't just keep this in mind. I
- 36:24Speaker 4: saw him in the lobby of the shoe store, which
- 36:27Speaker 4: means he's inside the store, right, that's how you would
- 36:32Speaker 4: interpret that.
- 36:33Speaker 5: That's how I take it.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Yep. This man was wearing a brown sport shirt. He
- 36:39Speaker 4: also acted as if he was scared about this time,
- 36:43Speaker 4: a police car came up the street going west on Jefferson.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Of course, they're probably going to the tip of scene
- 36:49Speaker 4: or you know, doing whatever. There's a lot of cars
- 36:53Speaker 4: going everywhere. When the police car reached Zang's, it made
- 36:57Speaker 4: a turn and went back to east on Jeffers. After
- 37:00Speaker 4: the police car passed, the man in the lobby walked
- 37:05Speaker 4: up Jefferson towards the Texas Theater. I followed the man
- 37:11Speaker 4: up the street and he went into the theater. I
- 37:15Speaker 4: asked the girl which would be postal in the box office,
- 37:19Speaker 4: as she sold the man a ticket. So this dude's
- 37:22Speaker 4: playing private detective here, right, and she replied that she
- 37:28Speaker 4: did not think so, that she had been listening to
- 37:32Speaker 4: the radio and did not remember. I went postal wasn't
- 37:37Speaker 4: playing private detective obviously. I went to the show and
- 37:41Speaker 4: asked Butch Burrows, the concession man, if he had seen
- 37:46Speaker 4: the man come in, but said that he had been
- 37:51Speaker 4: busy and did not notice. Butch and I then so
- 37:55Speaker 4: he got by Butch and Julia postal but and that.
- 38:00Speaker 4: I then checked the exits to see if any of
- 38:03Speaker 4: them had been opened. It's like, what the hell is
- 38:06Speaker 4: he doing here? This guy managered a stocial shoe store
- 38:11Speaker 4: like checking exits. The exits were all closed and did
- 38:15Speaker 4: not appear to have been opened. I then went to
- 38:17Speaker 4: the boxed office and told Julie to call the police.
- 38:21Speaker 4: When the police arrived, the show was stopped and the
- 38:24Speaker 4: lights were turned on. In the movie theater, a man
- 38:27Speaker 4: in the middle section, about five or six rows five
- 38:30Speaker 4: or six rows of seats from the back, stood up.
- 38:34Speaker 4: When the police arrived, the show was stopped and the
- 38:39Speaker 4: lights were turned on. A man in the middle section,
- 38:42Speaker 4: about five or six rows of the back stood up.
- 38:45Speaker 4: An officer approached him, and he hit the officer and
- 38:48Speaker 4: knocked him back. Several other officers then joined the fight
- 38:53Speaker 4: and the man was taken out of the theater. This
- 38:57Speaker 4: was the same man I had seen in front of
- 38:59Speaker 4: the shoe store where I work. The reason I noticed
- 39:02Speaker 4: the man in front of the store again, not in
- 39:06Speaker 4: the store as Perr's earliest Affidavid, was because he acted
- 39:13Speaker 4: so nervous and I thought at the time he might
- 39:17Speaker 4: be the man that had shot the policeman signed Johnny
- 39:22Speaker 4: Colvin and of course the sixth day of December the
- 39:27Speaker 4: same notary public Lady, and that has done almost all
- 39:30Speaker 4: the DPD affidavits that we've read. So now let me Chell.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Let's hear what Johnny Burr has to say himself. And
- 39:49Speaker 4: this is from Gil Jesus' brew.
- 39:54Speaker 5: Br Let's see what he.
- 39:58Speaker 4: Let's see what he has to say, because it's a
- 40:00Speaker 4: little interesting. And I want you to pay attention Rob
- 40:05Speaker 4: to his eye contact, because he seems to look down
- 40:12Speaker 4: a lot, and I'm not sure.
- 40:16Speaker 5: What's going on. Vicious, suspicious, suspicious, it could be. Yeah,
- 40:24Speaker 5: it's always good to actually see these people and hear
- 40:26Speaker 5: them and listen to them, because you get a much
- 40:28Speaker 5: better sense of if they're full of shit or not.
- 40:31Speaker 5: When you actually see him talking and hear him talking.
- 40:35Speaker 5: Call it the gut feeling, the sixth sense, if you will.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, let me Jesus Christ, and I'm going
- 40:48Speaker 4: to it once I figure this out. I have some
- 40:51Speaker 4: I need to work on my tab work.
- 40:55Speaker 5: And roll it.
- 40:58Speaker 4: It's rolling all and.
- 41:02Speaker 5: Roll it.
- 41:09Speaker 4: It's about three minutes, Johnny.
- 41:11Speaker 5: When was the first time you saw Lee Harvey Oswald?
- 41:14Speaker 7: Uh s? One at Friday afternoon? Nowhere for twenty second?
- 41:19Speaker 7: He walked into the lotting a store.
- 41:22Speaker 5: How far inded he turn it up?
- 41:24Speaker 7: Just a few feet? He was standing out that where
- 41:26Speaker 7: those tennis shoes are right there, just about five feet
- 41:29Speaker 7: from the door there.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Oh, I'll start it over. I turned it up all
- 41:33Speaker 4: the way. I'm sorry it was it was not turned up, Johnny.
- 41:36Speaker 4: When was the first time you saw Lee Harvey Oswald?
- 41:40Speaker 4: Better one at Friday afternoon?
- 41:43Speaker 5: Nowhere between?
- 41:45Speaker 4: He walked into the lotting a store.
- 41:48Speaker 1: How far in did he walk out there? John Just
- 41:50Speaker 1: a few feet?
- 41:51Speaker 7: He was standing rout that where those tennis shoes are
- 41:53Speaker 7: right there, just about five feet from.
- 41:55Speaker 1: The door there.
- 41:56Speaker 7: What made you suspicious of this man who walked into
- 41:59Speaker 7: the lobby well right after uh President of been shot.
- 42:05Speaker 7: They broadcast description on the radio of this man who
- 42:09Speaker 7: was five eight five, nine hundred and fifty pounds, and
- 42:13Speaker 7: this oswell matched description. And for just a few minutes
- 42:17Speaker 7: before he walked in, the lobby had on a radio
- 42:19Speaker 7: they had a bulletin that a officer had been shot
- 42:22Speaker 7: here in o'cliff.
- 42:24Speaker 4: And he walked in.
- 42:25Speaker 7: He matched description, looked scared.
- 42:30Speaker 4: This way he stood there.
- 42:31Speaker 5: You were standing right here behind standing right here.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Behind the count and listening to the radio.
- 42:35Speaker 5: And uh, where did he walk to?
- 42:36Speaker 4: Uh? How far he was to the lobby did he come?
- 42:38Speaker 7: He walked right into the right hand side of the
- 42:41Speaker 7: lobby there, just a few feet from the door, and
- 42:43Speaker 7: stood there looking in at the shoes.
- 42:45Speaker 4: There were there a lot of police cars in the area's.
- 42:49Speaker 7: Uh, a lot of police cars. Uh, there were some
- 42:52Speaker 7: cars coming up to Jefferson Street. They made that you
- 42:55Speaker 7: turned there and went back down Jeffson. And when they did,
- 42:58Speaker 7: Ozwald turned and walked up to the theater. When he
- 43:02Speaker 7: went out the lobby and toward the theater, I walked
- 43:04Speaker 7: out to the sidewalk and.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Way you could see how close what two three stores down?
- 43:13Speaker 5: Well, we've we've looked at this before. This is a
- 43:16Speaker 5: bad angle. Yeah, and this is this is way closer
- 43:22Speaker 5: than where Hardy Shoes story. I mean, this is a
- 43:27Speaker 5: Texas theater right here, right.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, you could see uh wars.
- 43:35Speaker 5: Oh no, you can't see that.
- 43:37Speaker 4: So it's probably taken after.
- 43:39Speaker 5: That party would have been like behind whoever's taking this video,
- 43:44Speaker 5: like about at least fifty yards sixty yards away.
- 43:48Speaker 4: That's exactly what he says. Fifty to sixty feet he says.
- 43:52Speaker 4: But I have a picture of it in my next slide.
- 43:57Speaker 7: Then I walked up to the theater and asked Ms
- 44:02Speaker 7: Postal there, the cashier, if she had sold a ticket
- 44:04Speaker 7: to this man wearing the brown sports shirt you know
- 44:07Speaker 7: his description.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Uh.
- 44:09Speaker 7: She called the police and uh, Butch stayed there to
- 44:12Speaker 7: the front exit, and I went back down by the
- 44:14Speaker 7: stage the back exit and waited there til the police came.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Did you get the rush down? Where ever heard him
- 44:22Speaker 4: in the uh? Wink in the theater?
- 44:24Speaker 1: Now?
- 44:25Speaker 4: How what happened when the police came.
- 44:29Speaker 7: Well, uh, just before the police got there, they turned
- 44:31Speaker 7: the house lights on the theater and uh, I looked
- 44:35Speaker 7: out the curtain and saw Osle and he stood up
- 44:39Speaker 7: and walked to the aisle there and then turned around
- 44:42Speaker 7: and set back down its almost where he had been setting.
- 44:47Speaker 7: Then I heard this noise outside and UH open the door,
- 44:51Speaker 7: and the police grabbed me and UH asked me what
- 44:55Speaker 7: I was doing there, and I told him, and they
- 44:57Speaker 7: asked me if the man was still in theater. I
- 45:00Speaker 7: said yes. They asked me to point him out.
- 45:03Speaker 4: So.
- 45:06Speaker 7: Cup three other policeman stuff walked out and pointed to him,
- 45:13Speaker 7: and Austin McDonald he was the first one to him.
- 45:16Speaker 7: He approached him and Oswald stood up.
- 45:23Speaker 4: I'm John Ruer November twenty second, nineteen sixty three. I
- 45:27Speaker 4: was a fellow who followed Lee Oswell to the Texas
- 45:30Speaker 4: Theater and pointed him out for his arrest.
- 45:34Speaker 5: Just word, don't try to sneak out.
- 45:36Speaker 4: I'll get you, oh man. The the shoe store salesman
- 45:50Speaker 4: playing private detective.
- 45:53Speaker 5: I'll get you, boy.
- 45:54Speaker 4: I'll get you if you walk into the theater, if
- 45:57Speaker 4: you don't buy any shoes, oh man.
- 46:01Speaker 5: I get a couple of things from watching old jcg here. Okay,
- 46:05Speaker 5: give it to me. The vibe is I don't get
- 46:14Speaker 5: a good sense that he's being completely honest about things.
- 46:19Speaker 5: There's there's not a lot of eye contact. Like you said,
- 46:23Speaker 5: he looks away or down a lot of the time
- 46:27Speaker 5: and not directly at the camera or the interviewer when
- 46:30Speaker 5: he's answering questions, which is suspect. And then I also
- 46:39Speaker 5: can hear when he speaks about these people. And we'll
- 46:41Speaker 5: get to it a little bit more here in a minute,
- 46:43Speaker 5: but it seems to me like he knows these people
- 46:47Speaker 5: on a first name basis, like he knows Butch and
- 46:54Speaker 5: he knows Julia. But he even calls her Julie, right, Dona,
- 47:01Speaker 5: she went by.
- 47:02Speaker 4: And Butcher's the nickname too.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Yeah, the guy's name is Warren, but you can call
- 47:07Speaker 5: me Butch. But what's interesting is Julia Postal. Okay, that's
- 47:11Speaker 5: her god given name. Okay, but she doesn't ever go
- 47:14Speaker 5: by Julia. Everybody calls her Julie. I mean, Joe, look
- 47:19Speaker 5: at this real quick. This is her headstone. H she
- 47:29Speaker 5: goes by and went by Julie. Everybody called her Julie.
- 47:33Speaker 5: Even Johnny Calvin Brewer called her Julie at times when
- 47:38Speaker 5: he's speaking about her. He calls her missus Postal or Julie.
- 47:45Speaker 5: So very interesting because at the time, you see, she
- 47:50Speaker 5: was born in nineteen and twenty four. So she was
- 47:54Speaker 5: pushing forty at the time of the Oswald assassination. Yeah,
- 48:00Speaker 5: or I mean Kennedy assassination. Yeah, so she was thirty
- 48:05Speaker 5: nine at the time, and now Butch was more closer
- 48:08Speaker 5: to his age, right, this cafoods are working the concession stand,
- 48:16Speaker 5: you know. But he knew this chick well enough to
- 48:18Speaker 5: call her Julie at times. But we'll get there, I promise.
- 48:22Speaker 4: And it's not out of the realm with possibility that
- 48:25Speaker 4: you would know the names of the people you work
- 48:28Speaker 4: a couple of stores down from you know that's not
- 48:32Speaker 4: super sus.
- 48:34Speaker 5: Well, but it's not a store. What the Texas Theater
- 48:39Speaker 5: is not a store?
- 48:41Speaker 4: No, I'm saying you could imagine a scenario where he
- 48:46Speaker 4: knows the people working a couple stores down from.
- 48:50Speaker 5: Him, can you?
- 48:52Speaker 4: I think so?
- 48:53Speaker 5: If I really, do you know people that work at
- 48:58Speaker 5: a couple of stores down from where you were? I
- 49:00Speaker 5: work virtually so no, But when you did work in
- 49:04Speaker 5: the building, did you know people you know four or
- 49:07Speaker 5: five buildings away from you have field down the street?
- 49:11Speaker 2: I did?
- 49:11Speaker 4: I did? Uh for sure? I mean I'm a personable guy.
- 49:15Speaker 5: Uh, you're not looking, You're not give me eye contact.
- 49:18Speaker 5: You're looking away, lie motherfucker, you're lie by the fucker.
- 49:29Speaker 4: Uh so, yeah, let's see some comments here.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Uh uh.
- 49:39Speaker 4: Did he or did he not buy a ticket? Johnny said,
- 49:43Speaker 4: he asked Julia, but he didn't say how. We responded,
- 49:46Speaker 4: we'll get there in a couple of minutes.
- 49:48Speaker 5: Get just hold tight.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Uh yeah, wow, I agree, and uh, Paul is coming
- 49:57Speaker 4: couple a little late, John Armstrong. She would start crying
- 50:01Speaker 4: when anyone asked her if L H O bought a ticket?
- 50:04Speaker 4: And I believe you'll probably get it into some of that, right,
- 50:10Speaker 4: didn't she cry? I don't remember who asked her the question.
- 50:16Speaker 5: No, no, Larry Larry Ray Harris, okay, who, by the way,
- 50:21Speaker 5: didn't publish it anywhere, and it's just hearsay.
- 50:27Speaker 4: There you go. Yeah, that's so that's the problem, because
- 50:32Speaker 4: her favorite, her favorite quote recently is that's.
- 50:35Speaker 5: A problem conspiracy fodder.
- 50:38Speaker 4: You know.
- 50:38Speaker 5: I asked Julie if she sold him a ticket, and
- 50:40Speaker 5: she got very upset and ran out of the room crying,
- 50:42Speaker 5: And then when she came back in, I asked her
- 50:44Speaker 5: again and she still didn't answer the question. So I
- 50:48Speaker 5: take that and she sold him a ticket? Yeah, I
- 50:52Speaker 5: mean could, but again, we don't. We don't even a
- 50:56Speaker 5: We don't know that this interview ever happened. We don't
- 51:00Speaker 5: know you know much of anything about it, and Larry
- 51:05Speaker 5: Ray Hairs didn't publish hardly anything about it. Specifically.
- 51:13Speaker 4: Jack says, I actually snuck in the theater a couple
- 51:16Speaker 4: of years ago when the cleaning lady had the front
- 51:18Speaker 4: door propped open, and you sent us a you sent
- 51:22Speaker 4: us a picture of that, and we're going to show
- 51:24Speaker 4: it on members only per your request, in our group
- 51:28Speaker 4: job with you, me and Rob And yeah, I agree, Brandon.
- 51:35Speaker 4: It's like he's thinking about what to say, not so
- 51:38Speaker 4: much recalling what happened, and you know it. The first
- 51:45Speaker 4: aid testimony says he kind of goes inside and then
- 51:49Speaker 4: we're gonna or it was standing outside, and then we're
- 51:53Speaker 4: going to see what he says in his warrant commissioned
- 51:55Speaker 4: testimony a couple months later. I believe it was in May.
- 52:02Speaker 4: And let me see if there's any other comments. All right,
- 52:08Speaker 4: So let's get back to my precious powder point.
- 52:23Speaker 5: And roll it.
- 52:25Speaker 4: Yes, so Brewer's Warren commissioned testimony by h says Berlin.
- 52:35Speaker 4: But I think that means Beilin this is from Spartacas too,
- 52:38Speaker 4: and I have more stuff coming. When did when you
- 52:42Speaker 4: looked up, mister Belin said, did you step out of
- 52:47Speaker 4: the store at all? No, Brewer says, I was stole
- 52:50Speaker 4: in the store behind the counter, and I looked up
- 52:51Speaker 4: and saw the man enter the lobby. When did When
- 52:56Speaker 4: you say the lobby of your store, First, let me
- 52:58Speaker 4: ask you to describe how is how wide is your
- 53:01Speaker 4: sort approximately? I mean, bullshit, twenty feet? Who cares?
- 53:05Speaker 5: All right?
- 53:05Speaker 4: So you saw a man going into what you referred
- 53:07Speaker 4: to as the lobby area as this lobby area, yes,
- 53:11Speaker 4: and he stood there with his back to the street,
- 53:15Speaker 4: as in like facing away to not get noticed, I
- 53:19Speaker 4: think is his implication, Beilin, When did he go in?
- 53:23Speaker 5: Now?
- 53:24Speaker 4: What did you hear at the time that he stepped
- 53:26Speaker 4: into this lobby area? I heard the police cars coming up, Jefferson,
- 53:30Speaker 4: and he stepped in, and the police made a U
- 53:33Speaker 4: turn and went back down Jefferson. Where'd he make you turn?
- 53:37Speaker 1: Zayings?
- 53:38Speaker 4: Do you remember the sirens going away? Yeah? Blah blah
- 53:40Speaker 4: blah blah blah. But I just want to go back
- 53:43Speaker 4: a little bit, uh to see where he says he
- 54:01Speaker 4: didn't actually step in because I read that recently. I
- 54:13Speaker 4: guess he did say standing in the lobby, so I
- 54:16Speaker 4: guess that does kind of not jump, So that's my bad. Then,
- 54:21Speaker 4: when mister Bielan, then when did you then? What did
- 54:25Speaker 4: you did you see this man do? He turned and
- 54:28Speaker 4: walked out of the lobby and went up West Jefferson
- 54:31Speaker 4: toward the theater. And I walked out front and watched him,
- 54:36Speaker 4: and he went into the theater.
- 54:37Speaker 5: What theater is that?
- 54:38Speaker 4: Texas Theater? Why did you happen to watch this particular man?
- 54:42Speaker 4: He just looked phony to me. Rule in the first place,
- 54:45Speaker 4: I had seen him someplace before. I think he had
- 54:48Speaker 4: been in my shoe store before. And when you wait
- 54:52Speaker 4: on somebody, you recognize them. And he just seemed funny.
- 54:56Speaker 4: His hair was sort of messed up and looked like
- 54:58Speaker 4: he had been running, I mean, come on, and he
- 55:02Speaker 4: looked scared and he looked funny. Did you notice any
- 55:05Speaker 4: of his actions when he was standing in your lobby there? No,
- 55:09Speaker 4: he just stood there and stared. He stared, Yes, was
- 55:14Speaker 4: he looking at the merchandise? Not anything in particular, He
- 55:19Speaker 4: was just standing there staring. Well, would you state then
- 55:23Speaker 4: what happened? You said? You saw him walk into the
- 55:25Speaker 4: Texas Theater. He walked into the theater, and I walked
- 55:28Speaker 4: up to the theater to the box office and asked
- 55:31Speaker 4: missus postal if she sold a ticket to the man
- 55:34Speaker 4: who was wearing a brown shirt, and she said no,
- 55:37Speaker 4: she hadn't. She was listening to the radio herself. And
- 55:41Speaker 4: then and I said that a man walked in there,
- 55:45Speaker 4: and I was going to go inside and ask the
- 55:48Speaker 4: usher if he had seen him. So, like, pause right here,
- 55:55Speaker 4: I mean, is he really like thinking he's a private
- 55:58Speaker 4: detective like bus thing? Some guy at going and you know,
- 56:02Speaker 4: a theater. I don't know, it's it's weird.
- 56:07Speaker 5: Well, he's putting two and two together. He thinks he's hurd.
- 56:12Speaker 5: He know that the cops been shot. The cops are
- 56:13Speaker 5: zipping up and down Jefferson Street looking for somebody. He
- 56:17Speaker 5: has an inkling this might be the guy. Right, But
- 56:20Speaker 5: instead of calling the police like he should have m hm,
- 56:26Speaker 5: or he should have just walked over non chalantly and
- 56:29Speaker 5: been like, hello, sir, is there anything I can help
- 56:31Speaker 5: you find today? And just kind of got by the
- 56:33Speaker 5: front door and then just locked a motherfucker in there.
- 56:36Speaker 4: It got it right, right, Yeah, So I walked in
- 56:42Speaker 4: and butch Burrows. Who was Burrows? He an asks Brewer.
- 56:46Speaker 4: He was behind the counter. He operated the concession and
- 56:50Speaker 4: takes tickets. He was behind the concession stand. And I
- 56:55Speaker 4: asked him if he had seen a man in a
- 56:57Speaker 4: brown shirt of that description, matching that descript and he
- 57:01Speaker 4: said he had been working behind the counter and hadn't
- 57:04Speaker 4: seen anybody. And I asked him if he would come
- 57:06Speaker 4: with me and show me where the exits were and
- 57:09Speaker 4: we would check the exits. And he asked me why
- 57:14Speaker 4: I would ask him why too. I told him I
- 57:16Speaker 4: thought the guy looked suspicious. Could you tell me whether
- 57:19Speaker 4: or not he bought a ticket? No, he just turned
- 57:21Speaker 4: and walked right in. I heard a noise outside, Burr says.
- 57:28Speaker 4: And I opened the door in the alley, I guess
- 57:30Speaker 4: it was filled with police cars and policemen were on
- 57:33Speaker 4: the fire exits and stacked around the alley. And they
- 57:36Speaker 4: grabbed me, a couple of them and held and searched
- 57:42Speaker 4: me and asked me what I was doing there. And
- 57:44Speaker 4: I told them that there was a guy in the
- 57:47Speaker 4: theater that I was suspicious of. And he asked me
- 57:50Speaker 4: if he was still there, and I said yes, I'd
- 57:53Speaker 4: just seen him, and he asked me if i'd point
- 57:55Speaker 4: him out, and I and two or three officers walked
- 58:00Speaker 4: out on the stage and I pointed him out. And
- 58:05Speaker 4: there were officers coming in from the front of the show,
- 58:10Speaker 4: I guess coming toward that way, an officers going from
- 58:13Speaker 4: the back. David fa Then what did you see, Bilan,
- 58:20Speaker 4: asks Brewer. Well, I saw the policeman approach Oswalt, and
- 58:24Speaker 4: Oswalt stood up and I heard him hollering. I don't
- 58:28Speaker 4: know exactly what he said, and this man hit Patrolman McDonald.
- 58:32Speaker 4: So again he's getting his story straight if he knows
- 58:36Speaker 4: Patrolman McDonald's name.
- 58:38Speaker 5: As most witnesses, as we'll come to find out there
- 58:41Speaker 5: there there, their memory gets better with age, apparently, yes,
- 58:47Speaker 5: but we'll get there. Yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 4: I found something interesting. Uh And the DPD portal to
- 58:56Speaker 4: Texas History and this is a memo to Henry Wade
- 59:01Speaker 4: from Everett. I guess must have been one of his
- 59:04Speaker 4: detectives subject Ruby as an attention seeker. And they're just
- 59:09Speaker 4: lining up all these people who said Ruby wants attention
- 59:11Speaker 4: and blah blah blah blah blah. But there is a
- 59:13Speaker 4: Dennis Brewer here I don't know if there's any relation.
- 59:20Speaker 4: I haven't had time to check ancestry, but yeah, who
- 59:26Speaker 4: knows Campez too under there? This is interesting. So now
- 59:33Speaker 4: we're going to go to the DPD case report on
- 59:35Speaker 4: the murder of JD. Tippett that was written by Jim
- 59:39Speaker 4: Levell on November twenty second, filed sixty three, concerning the
- 59:47Speaker 4: murder of JJ Tippett. Includes a description of Lee Harvey Oswald,
- 59:51Speaker 4: the summary of the case, and a list of witnesses.
- 59:55Speaker 4: I have an arrow here, a big one date ante.
- 59:59Speaker 5: Wait a minute, look at that address they have for Oswald,
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: ten six North Marcellus. Do you see what I'm saying?
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't catch that.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: Beckley, North Marsalus. Wow, that's odd.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: Yeah. And the date and time of offense, which should
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: be the murder of JD. Tippett.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Do you think that Oswald gave him the wrong address
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: initially as possible?
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: Well, I mean, we know he lied to the FBI
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: in New Orleans. But date of offense one eighteen pm.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: Yeah, they're just listening to the Tippet murder as being
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: one eighteen right. I'm more intrigued by the address. Interesting
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: when supposedly when they officially first interrogated Oswald at like
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: three something with hosting and book out there. Yeah, because
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: the hosty wrote down ten to twenty six North Beckley.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: Like Oswald was telling.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: Them the truth, right and he gave wait, he gave.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: But you got to remember this dude was in Dallas
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: police custody from about quarter to two. Uh you know,
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: they got him in the car. He was probably down
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: a police headquarters for an hour or so hour fifteen
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: minutes before they officially interrogated Oswald. This seems to me
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: like they unofficially talked to Oswald and Oswald gave him
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: some partial bullshit address.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: Very possible, sir, very possible, and then maybe realize as
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: the oh shit, maybe I'll give my real one now.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: But well when it's up and he knows because Hosty
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: knows Hosty had been to Bruce House at that point,
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: remember he took the note. Yeah, yep, So once Hosty
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: is there, he probably knows. All right, Well, the gig's
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: up now.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: They know who the fuck I am and mm hmmm, no,
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: that's that's a good point. You're right, I think you're right.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Where and how committed four hundred block East tenth Street
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: with pistol. And so this is the report filed, it
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: says on the DPD website eleven twenty two. And again
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: I'm going to go back here, filed eleven twenty two.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: So Lavelle's writing it this that day, right, like the
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: day of report. They have Brewer here can testify that
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: he saw Oswald come into his store when a police
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: car came by, he was acting suspicious. He followed him
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: to the theater and told the cashier about her. She
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: called the police.
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: Again, I'm sure, look, because I mean he's helpful to
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: the police, and we'll find out more here in a second.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: But I'm sure they got this guy's name and phone number,
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: you know, we'll be in touch type of thing, and
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: maybe have took maybe took a brief statement, you know,
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: as to you know, I followed this guy here, whatever
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: the fuck. But they didn't actually officially bring him in
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: or interview him or have him do an affidavid until
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: the sixth.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Right, But again, rob sixteen days for the person that
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: literally that's why he was arrested for allegedly shooting Tippet.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: Sixteen days to get an affidavit from them.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: Again, this guy's not going anywhere Oswald's dead at this time. Yeah,
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: everything's you know up in limbo. Tip it's dead. They
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: got the guy that killed him, you know, I heard,
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: I hear it over now they now they're going to
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: their own pace once they figure out. Okay, well there's
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: gonna be a federal commission looking into.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: This, right man. Maybe maybe I thought the FBI would do.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: It, you know what I mean, but just you know, yeah,
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: they did it, and then the guy comes in some
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: months later, you know, not just sixteen days. They came
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: in like two freaking months later.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: Yeah. And also note the Julia Postal can testify that
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: she is employed at the Texas Theater that she saw
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: a suspicious person duck into the theater. Did she know,
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: I don't know, just after the shooting of Officer Tippet
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: that she called the police and saw the man later
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: identified as Oswalt brought from the theater. So well, that's
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: the same thing, all right, I'm gonna stop sharing this,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: uh and hand it over to you because that is
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Brewer and uh, you know, one last thing on him,
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: Oh shit, a twenty two year old kid can be
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: easily influenced under pressure. His warrant commissioned testimony is much
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: longer than Butch Burrows's, which when they don't tell him
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: the Warrant Commission what they want to hear exactly, And
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: we're going to get into that after we go through Postal.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: They cut him off right away. Oh, thank you for
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: your hope. Brewers is probably four or five times as long.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: So that's interesting as well.
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: Yes, it's very I was looking up here, thank you, David,
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: where Julia Posta was living, since had her address there.
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: We'll get there. So before we get to Julia, I
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: wanted to bring up some things to something that I
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: found with Johnny Brewer, because this dude lived, like I said,
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: until twenty twenty one, and he loved to talk about
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: this shit again another guy whose memory gets better with age.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: Different facts get added in to ship Uh who lived
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: at six twenty one North Marcellus. Hmm, I don't know
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: who you talking about, Sally mhm.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: Uh actually Rob before before you get the postal, I
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: have one more thing to share really quickly.
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: And if I must, I must, I must increase my bust.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: I must. This is UH two thousand and eleven article
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: Dallas Police honor man who helped ned Lee or ve Oswald.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: Real quick, Joe, No, I don't think Lee Harvey Oswald
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: never lived on Marsalas Street.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Ever, as far as I know, I don't think so either. No,
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: I think other people did. I can't point. I can't
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: think of who did.
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: But Massalis was like the next one over for Batten, right, No,
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: I think it was closer to the Carosel Club. Again,
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: I don't know Dallas. Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Oswald
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: never lived on Marsalis.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but I just want to show you some propaganda
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: Mockingbird article here again November twenty third, So you're talking about,
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: you know, the anniversary right essentially day after Dallas police
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: honored demand on Tuesdays who's quote, keen observation skills and
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: strong sense of civic duty led them to Lee Harvey Oswalt,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: who had crept into the back of a darkened movie
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: theater to hide. Shortly after the assassination, Police Chief David
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Brown presented Johnny with the Department's Citizens Certificate of Merit
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: and Praise is selfless and Exemplary conduct forty eight one
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: year old, forty eight years ago during a ceremony at
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: the Texas Theater, the same place where Oswald was captured
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: about eighty minutes after Kennedy was killed. I'm just so overwhelmed,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: Brewer seventy at the time, said, after receiving the award
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: and watching a video of his twenty two year old
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: self recounting the events of the day. Manager blah blah, blah.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: And all the same.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: But it's funny this, you know, that this dude, you know,
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: getting articles written about him getting awards like it just
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: seems like weird to me. I don't know what's going
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: on with this dude. Oh what you got there?
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: You're muda.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: An interview with Johnny Calvin Brewer by Ian Griggs from
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: Dally the UK fame and this was done in ninety six. Now,
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: Ian Griggs is a former police officer, so he knows
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: how to question people and ask him questions. Okay, So
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: a couple of things stood out to me with this
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: interview that was done in nineteen ninety six, again by
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: Ian Griggs, who is from across the Pond, but like
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: I said, he's a former police officer.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: Yeah, plauset UK.
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: Right, Yes for the third time, yes, Ja, I'm sorry,
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: pay attention.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: I'm looking at the comments and and Jack gives a
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: really good comment here before you start. The FBI supposedly
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: goes to Oswalt's middle school principal, who is a Jay
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: Martin by the way, right, what, Yeah, to get his
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: high school records, and they don't interview the theater employees
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: for sixteen or fourteen and sixteen days.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: Yeah, allegedly, well again, the FBI is trying to cover
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: their tracks to Oswald, right, but.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: Beauregard Middle School. I believe it was called right, Yes, yeah, sorry,
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: I thought that was a good comment. I'm sorry, sir,
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: pray continue.
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: Again. This is in nineteen ninety six. So he starts off,
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: you know, you know, just how old were you? He's
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: twenty two blah blah blah, hardy shoe store he has,
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: So you were in overall control of that shop, And
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: he says, right, so it means he was running the place.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: He's the manager, he's got the keys, YadA, YadA, YadA. Right.
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: He said he had been there since August of sixty two,
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: which is important here. In a second, he asked him
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: because in the Dallas Police Department inventory of Lee Harvey
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: Oswald's rooming house at ten twenty six North Beckley, there
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: is acquired a pair of Hardy shoes that Oswald owned.
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: Like Hardy wasn't just the name of the store, Joe.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: They had a line of shoes that they made. Wow,
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: like they were a small chain. M hmm. But they
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: made their own shoes, and Oswald had a pair.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: All right, So we might might have been telling the
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: truth when he said, I think I remember this guy
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: coming in at some point. Well, we'll get there, I said, Mike.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: Well again, memory gets better with age. Don't forget that
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: that's true. And he says, to your knowledge, was Lee
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: Harvey Oswald ever one of your customers, and now in
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: nineteen ninety six, yes, he was absolutely certain, Joe not
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: maybe might have. So that obviously means you've seen it.
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: You had seen him in your shop before. Brewer says,
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: at the time I saw him at the theater. Again,
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: this guy's in his fucking store first, okay, But he says,
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: by the time, I had seen him at the theater,
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: and I don't think he ever got a close up
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: look at Oswald, closer than when he was in his
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: store while Oswald was in a dark theater. Okay, But
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: he says, after I saw this guy at the theater,
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: I knew I had seen this guy before, and possibly
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: that's even why he got my attention, not the main
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: reason he got my attention. I didn't place him until
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: I don't know, it may have been a month before
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: I could even tell you the shoe he bought. It
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: was a two islet crape soled shoe model eight one
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: one zer other size eight and a half. So you
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: go from maybe I've seen this guy before to yes,
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: I'm certain i've seen this guy before. He bought besides
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: eight and a half crape sold whatever the fuck you?
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: That guy just said two islets, you know, whatever. Whatever.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: That's pretty specific to remember which exactly which shoes somebody
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: bought and what size it was, like, you.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Know, I and I wonder if, because you know, Oswalt
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: was like a pack rap, right, he kept everything, like
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: every receipt and things like that. I wonder if that
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: was in it was belonging somewhere. What the receipt for
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: those shoes?
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: Oh, I don't know. I can tell you is this okay,
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: the shoes are commissioned Exhibit one to forty seven. If
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: you can find a picture of that joe, because I
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: want to look at these bad boys. I want to
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: see what kind of kind of mileage they got on
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. There's a reason I'm asking
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: that question. So while he looks for that.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: Yep, man's black shoes. Although I don't have the link,
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: I will find.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: It, Griggs, they asked him. Robert Groden has said, and
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: I don't know a source for this, that Oswald once
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: end in your shop, try it on almost every shoe
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: in the place, left without buying anything. Is there any
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: truth to that? He says, No, he bought. He was
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: very fastidious and meticulous or just a jerk. I'm not
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: quit quite sure which. And there was just this one occasion,
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: he said, yeah, just one occasion. Like I said, I
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: didn't have a clue who he was, just another sale.
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: Certain customers stand out in your mind and you try
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: to avoid them the next time you see him coming.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: But sometimes you're the only motherfucker working in the shoe store, Johnny,
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: and you don't have a choice but to fucking help,
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: you know, help him. Okay, I got it all right,
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: pop it up on the screen here. I want to
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: see these bad.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Boys, all right. Let me figure it out, as I
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: have a million tams A thing.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Yea, and go.
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: Don't don't rush me, Bra and yo, don't rush me, Bra.
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: Can you get any clothing?
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: I'm a close circuit. I got can I get That's
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: what That's what she said. Now, Jay, look they look
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: a little worn.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: Yeah, they look a little worn for sure. I mean
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: they're busted out, kind of in the middle of not
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: busted out, but they're they're kind of loose in the middle,
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: if you will.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: The obviously they were slip on and slip off. I'm
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: sure he didn't retime every time he put him on.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: No, but you could see like the wear on the
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: right side here.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: And of course this is allegedly supposed to all this
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: wear and tear allegedly supposed to have been done month.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Does that say hardy right there? That each Yeah? Okay,
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: right here the shoes, yeah okay.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: Now, in the month prior to November twenty second, nineteen
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: sixty three. Yeah, in the month prior to nineteen or
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: November twenty second, nineteen sixty three, Oswald was living at
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: the rooming house on North Beckley, right, and he was
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: working at the school book Depository. Now, according to most
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: of if not all, of witness testimony, that was living
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: at the ten twenty six North Beckley in his rooming house.
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: That Oswald didn't go out much in the evenings. He
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: would come home after work and go in his room
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: watch TV or something occasionally and acts weird and all that.
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: But so it wasn't like he was going out in
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: the town every night, you know, tearing up the dance
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: floor or walking anywhere.
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: Right, his typing class was back in April, Yeah, so
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: that would be irrelevant.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: You're not gonna wear this type of shoe to work
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: in the school book warehouse, right, These are not going
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: to be your shoes to do that in. I mean,
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: you're not gonna like get some fancy dress shoes and
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: wear them to uh, to go work in the warehouse.
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: You're gonna wear some old skafuza shoes, you know what
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: I mean, something comfortable because you're on your feet, you're
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: walking all day, you're going upstairs downstairs. You know you're
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: gonna want something comfortable. So it's not like he wore
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: these to work, so and he didn't wear them after
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: work walking anywhere whatever. If he had any shoes on
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: and his house, you know they're not gonna get to
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: kind of wear and tear that these things have. So
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: that's a little suspect to me, Joe that that threw
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: a big red flag up to me. I don't know, h.
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: Then he narrows it down a little bit. He says,
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: how long before the assassination was that? Can you remember
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: exactly when he came in to get these shoes? He
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: says that I cannot remember.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I do not know.
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: It was probably only a matter of weeks, but again
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: it could have been months. I'm not sure. Again, Oswald
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: didn't come back to Dallas until October, Yeah, early October. Yeah,
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: and his first order of business would would probably not
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: go get a nice pair of dress shoes from the
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: Hardy shoe store. Yeah, it wasn't working.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: Yet, Yeah, telling his frugal nature.
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: I was, you know, he's staying at the y m
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: c A. He was staying at the SKA uh, the
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: other rooming house right with the old lady first for
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: a week, and then he goes to Beckley blood Sell. Yeah,
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: blood cell was Bloodshoe's rooming house on Marcellus.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: Who let me chuck.
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: But again, these shoes look like they've got they are
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: older and have more wear and tear. It seems to
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: me like Brewer just saw this guy a pair of
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: hardy shoes in his inventory and took credit for selling
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: him to him. You know what I mean, at least
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: as to me what it appears to be. Much like
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: in the other in the same picture, there's a pair
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: of flip flops that Judas Baker takes credit for buying
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: Lee Oswald. Okay, so these things can be co opted.
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: Doesn't mean anything. But what it does say is if
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: if you can prove that Oswald didn't didn't it.
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: Was six twenty one North marsalas well, there you go.
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: So he gave them that address first, No, he.
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: Gave them ten twenty six, which is part of the
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: Beckley address, and he gave them Marsalis, which is part
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: of the Marsalis address. He merged both rooming houses together
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: and gave a fictitious address of ten twenty six North Marcellus,
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: which is interesting. Now, if you can prove that Johnny
- 1:23:13Speaker 5: Brewer is lying about selling Oswald's shoes.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: He did. You're right, I just went back to the slide.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: You're right he merged them. Yeah. Wow.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: If you can prove Johnny Brewer has been lying about
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: selling Oswald's shoes, and that means Johnny Brewer is a
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: liar and cannot be trusted about anything he has to say,
- 1:23:35Speaker 5: at least to me. If you're going to take credit
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: for selling this guy's shoes, it's obviously been all scoffed
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: up and look to me to at least be a
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: couple of years old. Then you're a liar, bro and
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: I can't trust what you got to say. So and
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: then he goes on, you know, and you know, cars
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: was zipping up and down the street, blah blah blah.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: All right, officer has just been killed.
- 1:24:10Speaker 5: Yep, He asked him specifically. Can you remember when you
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: heard about the tip of killing, the shooting of the policeman.
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: He says, I've never really thought about that.
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: Uh yeah, wait, didn't we just read his warm commissioned
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: testimony where he said he heard about it on his
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: transistor radio.
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: Dude, this is odd, this is odd, he says. Greg says,
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: but at the time there was no connection between Kennedy
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: and Tippett, and Brewer says, not that I know. Greg says, fine,
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: was there? If you can recall any description of the
- 1:24:46Speaker 5: suspect and either of the killing is given out on
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: the radio, Brewer said, in the shooting, I'm pretty sure
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: it was the shooting. A description of a shooter.
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: You know it was.
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: I don't recall if they said white or black, but
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: I do recall a male five to nine, medium size build.
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: There was no description of clothing. Grig says, I understand now,
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: I know the layout of the shop, the way the
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: door was recessed, and the display panels on the sides.
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: Now you're count on your your counter and your location.
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: Would that be facing the door on the side, and
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: we saw that from the news footage, right, blah blah blah,
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: So pretty awkward if you you know, if you're Lee,
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: Harvey Oswald, right or whoever this person was that dipped
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: into the Hardy shoe store and it's standing there with
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: your back turned looking at shoes, pretending to look at shoes,
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: and you hear on the radio behind you, you know,
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: a description of a shooting suspect that kind of matches
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: your description, and Skafooz is standing there looking at you,
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: listening to the radio, thinking, this guy looks like the description.
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: Awkward moment there probably if it actually happened, which we
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: don't know. Let's see now, Brewers says that there were
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: two other guys in the Hardy Shoe store at this time,
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: and he says they worked at IBM. They were in
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: the neighborhood. I had known them ever since I came there. Customers, No,
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: they want customers. They just come in and kill time
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: and lounge around.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: Interesting. I don't remember him mentioning that during his warrant
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: commission testimony that I ever read today.
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: So apparently two guys that worked at at IBM close by,
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: which I'm guessing was a copy or place or somewhere.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: I mean, I don't think the IBM had a factory down.
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: I don't know, but these couple guys like to go
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: hang out in the Hardy Shoe Store and not buy nothing,
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: just hang out and smell the smell the leather feet.
- 1:27:18Speaker 5: I don't know what the fuck's going on in here.
- 1:27:19Speaker 4: It is a good smell of the leather. I will
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: say that a fresh leather smell come on.
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: More of a stench coming out of that leather shoe.
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: Oh okay, Oh, I'm talking about new shoes. Yeah, okay, I'm.
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: Thinking about the smell of like how David Fairy's feet
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: would smell if he'd been wearing these shoes all day,
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: right right? Interesting, but yeah, he says, Uh, they weren't customers.
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: They just come in and kill time and lounge around,
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: kind of like Oswald at the Crescent City Garage.
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: Exactly right, Alba, Yeah, he says.
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: Were there any other salesman in the shop apart from you?
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: He says, no, they were not. In fact, I planned
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: to be off that day, but my assistant called me in.
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: He bought a car. His newborn was ill, and I
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: had just and I had just taken delivery of a
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: brand new sixty four Ford Galaxy CL five hundred being
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: worked that day.
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: Let me say, what is it again?
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: This is a bad ass car. Actually, a sixty four
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: Ford Galaxy CL five hundred. This was what we call
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: folks a pussy magnet back in the day, or a
- 1:28:47Speaker 5: dick magnet. Yeah, I'm going every was on and you
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: know whatever. Yeah, pull up a picture that Ford Galaxy.
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: But I only know this because a bloody of had
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: a silver one growing up with a black convertible top.
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I believe he said this in his Warren
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: Commission testimony or or or something. I believe it was
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: his Warren Commission testimony. So yeah, I mean, bro, this
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: is a this is a sweet car right here, Yes,
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: look at that. That don't make them when they silver one.
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: With a black convertible top. I mean, sharp, man.
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: Oh he had a convertible top on it. Let me see.
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: Oh you're a friended Okay.
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: Yeah, they made him with the convertible tops for sure.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: Is this one? Oh yeah, I think this is a
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: convertible top, right yeah, but not silver of course, but yeah.
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, pretty cool. So he Johnny Brewer just bought
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: this sweet car. He's doing obviously doing well at the shoest.
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: You know what I mean. I told you they were
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: prestigious jobs back in the day. Yeah, it wasn't just
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: a skufuza working in a shoe store like you have now, right, Yeah,
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: And he says, these guys, he said, my car was
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: parked out front so I could keep an eye on it,
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: and I was feeding nickels into the parking meter all
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: day long, just waiting to get off so I could
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: drive it.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: Didn't want I got a ticket on the first day.
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: You got it, And you guys from my IBM just
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: stood around and talked. And he says, now your attention
- 1:30:38Speaker 5: is alerted to this character who's acting furtively in your
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: doorway as the police cars are going by. I correct,
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: He says, of course, my attention is drawn out because
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: of the sirens and the police cars going by, and
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: knowing of the shooting in the area. And I was
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: actually on my way to come out from behind the
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: counter to go outside so I could see what the
- 1:30:57Speaker 5: hell's going on when this fellow entered from my left
- 1:31:02Speaker 5: as I'm standing there.
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: Ah.
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: Now that's important because I've never seen anywhere in any
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: book which direction he's come from. He's come from the
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: Zang's Boulevard direction, which is the intersection. He walked into
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: the recessed area and stood and we were looking at
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: each other. And actually I was a little annoyed because
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: I thought it was someone coming in as I was
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: fixing to go out. And then when the police had
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: gone by, and he looked over his shoulder and then
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: walked out on the sidewalk again looked, and then walked
- 1:31:36Speaker 5: quietly but calmly, and I stood there. It could have
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: been more than five seconds. And Greg says, and he's
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: walking in which direction now towards the theater. And he says,
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: in your testimony, you said he looked funny. Those are
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: the actual words you use. Can you expand on that
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: at all? Looked funny? What does that mean? He says, Well,
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: he obviously wasn't looking for shoes. And then he says,
- 1:32:02Speaker 5: when you left the shop to see what this chap
- 1:32:03Speaker 5: was doing, did you mention anything to the other two
- 1:32:06Speaker 5: scuffuses who were in your shop?
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:32:09Speaker 5: Yes, I think I said something like Uh. Well, he says,
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: I think I said something, and I walked out onto
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: the sidewalk. Uh, hey, guys, watch the store.
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: I'll be back.
- 1:32:22Speaker 5: I'm chasing a suspect.
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: Yeah right, watch over the cast register. Yeah.
- 1:32:32Speaker 5: So then uh, he said, he's he called him again
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: as he's walking in front of Thompson's Furniture store, which
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: is down the street a peace closer to the Texas Theater.
- 1:32:45Speaker 5: He says, he was right there in that area when
- 1:32:47Speaker 5: I picked him. When I picked up again and saw him,
- 1:32:50Speaker 5: and he said, Now you were suspicious because of his
- 1:32:52Speaker 5: appearance and the fact that he'd been in the recess
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: of your shop for what appeared to be reasons of concealments?
- 1:32:58Speaker 5: Is that correct? Brewis as well? And also, why wasn't
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: he interested in all the police cars? Going by as
- 1:33:04Speaker 5: everyone else was. Everyone was out on the street looking
- 1:33:08Speaker 5: like right now, if a police car came by, we'd
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: all be out there looking. That's the way it is.
- 1:33:13Speaker 5: So that kind of struck me. His eye he's looking
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: at shoes instead of looking at the police cars. So
- 1:33:18Speaker 5: that's why you stepped out of the store and looked.
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: And he's walking down by Thompson's Furniture store and he's
- 1:33:23Speaker 5: still walking. Uh huh, Okay, now I understand. He then
- 1:33:28Speaker 5: entered the Texas Theater. Brewer says, right, I saw him
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: go in. Okay, and from your vantage point, you see
- 1:33:36Speaker 5: that he went in without buying a ticket. Brewer says, well,
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: you could see the cashier's booth which was out on
- 1:33:43Speaker 5: the sidewalk. Not really, but okay, really, yeah, let's take
- 1:33:51Speaker 5: a look at that real quick. I've got a picture here.
- 1:33:55Speaker 4: You really can't see, uh, because it goes back and
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: recessed back. Right, So if you're standing, say in front
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: of the shoe store parties, it would be extremely hard
- 1:34:10Speaker 4: to tell.
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: If he ducked in or not or paid or if
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: even if you're on the sidewalk, but you couldn't tell,
- 1:34:19Speaker 5: you'd have to get up far close enough to have
- 1:34:22Speaker 5: the right angle to see into that recessed area of
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: the building.
- 1:34:27Speaker 4: Exactly. Yeah, I meant like say, he just like stepped
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: outside of his shop a couple steps. You know, the
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: angle doesn't work.
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: Right, he says. I didn't really know for sure whether
- 1:34:44Speaker 5: or not he bought a ticket. I saw him walk in,
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: and that's when I went back. And I can't remember
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: either of their names, but one of them closed up
- 1:34:54Speaker 5: for me while I was gone. When I came back,
- 1:34:57Speaker 5: the store was locked. I said, I'm going to check.
- 1:35:01Speaker 5: So this is the first time he's ever said this,
- 1:35:05Speaker 5: that he went down. He followed Oswald down to the
- 1:35:09Speaker 5: So I'm going to Texas Theater. Then he turns around
- 1:35:11Speaker 5: and goes back to a shop. But in the meantime,
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: these two scuffooss to work at IBM have took it
- 1:35:17Speaker 5: upon themselves to lock up his shop.
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: Yeah, let's close up for you, because you walked a
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: couple feet unbelievable.
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: That's not weird.
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: That is so weird.
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: So he let he sees Oswald go in. Then he
- 1:35:32Speaker 5: goes back to his shop, talks to these guys for
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: a minute, locks up his shop. I don't know if
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: they're still there. But then he goes back to the
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: Texas Theater. So you have time passing here.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, And he can't remember their names.
- 1:35:47Speaker 5: Right, right, but they hung out there all the time
- 1:35:52Speaker 5: and get running down the street.
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: Ovey.
- 1:35:58Speaker 5: So then he says, when I came back, the store
- 1:36:01Speaker 5: was locked. I said, I'm going to check. Greg says,
- 1:36:04Speaker 5: you got a feeling all was not right, and Brewer
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: says right. So they stayed there and I walked back
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: up to the Texas Theater all the time thinking what
- 1:36:14Speaker 5: am I doing here? And I saw Julie out on
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: the dot dot dot. Okay, remember Julie m hm, a
- 1:36:32Speaker 5: woman who is pushing forty to a twenty two year
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: old Johnny Calvin Brewer, she is not missus Postal. She's Julie,
- 1:36:44Speaker 5: not Julia, Julie the weird.
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: Hellotle bit.
- 1:36:53Speaker 5: He says, now you, Greg says, now you need Julia Postal,
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: didn't you? What did you say to her? He says,
- 1:37:00Speaker 5: I said, Julie, did you sell a ticket? And I
- 1:37:05Speaker 5: gave her a description of the guy. She said no,
- 1:37:09Speaker 5: she hadn't, she'd been out on the street watching. And
- 1:37:14Speaker 5: I said, Julie, I'm going to go inside and see
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: if I can see him. There's something funny going on.
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: So he didn't pay either. For the record, he.
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: Said, yeah. I walked inside Butch Burrows, he was a
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: concessionaire and ticket taker and whatever else. And I asked
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: Butch if he'd seen anybody in the theater and he
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: said no, but he'd been down behind the counter stocking
- 1:37:39Speaker 5: concessions or whatever. He had not seen anybody. And I said, Butch,
- 1:37:44Speaker 5: come on with me, and we went up to the balcony,
- 1:37:48Speaker 5: and using the screen as a backlight, we could see
- 1:37:51Speaker 5: that there were no heads up there. So the balcony
- 1:37:55Speaker 5: was totally empty, Grace says, and Brewers says, yes, right.
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: Because there's only fifteen twenty people I guess seeing that movie, right,
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: And of course they lost the manifest list of who
- 1:38:09Speaker 4: was there, right, So unless you were like trying to
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: smoke a sig upstairs, not be bothered or get a
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: better view, like, there's no reason to not sit downstairs,
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: right in theory. So yeah, Jane, Timothy Ryan, all this
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: stinks to high heaven. Yeah, I can't agree. We're not
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: even halfway there yet, We're not, and we're an hour're
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: forty in, are we? Yeah?
- 1:38:42Speaker 5: We're an hour forty in.
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: Yeah, time flies, or you're having fun?
- 1:38:47Speaker 5: What the hell happened?
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: Hey, I remembers only was like two forty Oh my
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: god the other day.
- 1:38:55Speaker 5: All right, well, I'll better speed this up then, because
- 1:38:57Speaker 5: we'll never get done boozing around them through this bullshit.
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: So maybe we're we'll say, the Johnny Calvin Brewer Interview
- 1:39:06Speaker 5: for members only.
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and we're going to get to butch uh.
- 1:39:11Speaker 5: Yeah, we still got to get to Julian Butch. So
- 1:39:15Speaker 5: let's I mean, we know that Julia Postal story, right.
- 1:39:19Speaker 5: The interesting thing with Julia Postal is not necessarily whether
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: or not she sold Oswalla ticket. I mean, at this
- 1:39:28Speaker 5: point she's either lying or she's not. She says she didn't,
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: but she also didn't see him sneak in the theater.
- 1:39:38Speaker 5: He would have had to walk literally right by her.
- 1:39:42Speaker 5: I mean, you would notice unless you have your head
- 1:39:48Speaker 5: down on.
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: And listen. There's no fing iPhone where you're like doom
- 1:39:55Speaker 4: scrolling and like on TikTok or something like that and
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: like not paying attention, right, even if you're listening to
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: a radio, you know what I mean.
- 1:40:06Speaker 5: And again, by the time they talk to these people,
- 1:40:09Speaker 5: by the time they took Julia Postals AffA David. You
- 1:40:17Speaker 5: know it is December fourth. December fourth, yeah, December fourth,
- 1:40:26Speaker 5: Julia Postals Alfa David. These people who knew each other intimately,
- 1:40:33Speaker 5: and by intimately I mean on a first name basis.
- 1:40:36Speaker 5: Joe he knows, Butch he knows Julie. They know him.
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: They had time to talk to get their story straight
- 1:40:46Speaker 5: and figure things out.
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: But he doesn't know the Skafuzas who helped.
- 1:40:53Speaker 5: Used to hang out in his shop all day, rubbing
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: each other's feet.
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: You know. Unbelievable, man.
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: You can't make this shit up. Now. Interestingly enough, Joe
- 1:41:08Speaker 5: Julie Postal was married two I believe Lawrence Postal Okay, okay,
- 1:41:20Speaker 5: Now I'm gonna pop this up here real quick. Lawrence Postal.
- 1:41:26Speaker 8: Is from.
- 1:41:29Speaker 5: New York. He's at heart, okay, but he was born
- 1:41:35Speaker 5: in nineteen ten, which was fourteen years before Julie Postal,
- 1:41:43Speaker 5: so he is fourteen years her senior at the time
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: that they get married. Okay, Now they meet in California.
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: At the time, Lawrence Townshend post is living in Los
- 1:42:01Speaker 5: Angeles and he is working at the Paramount Theater. On
- 1:42:06Speaker 5: three twenty three, West sixth Street, Los Angeles, California. Okay,
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: so he is a theater worker.
- 1:42:15Speaker 4: Mm hmm, which kind of which makes sense? Right? Well,
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: theater theater workers kind of meeting each other, I guess
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:42:25Speaker 5: Yeah, but at this time he was married, not to
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: Julie or Julia, missus Irene Susan Postal. Okay, uh huh,
- 1:42:37Speaker 5: I see this, So mister Lawrence Townsend Postal uh was
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: married before he got with Julie sweet young Newbile Julie.
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: Hey, I will say this, I do not blame mister
- 1:42:58Speaker 4: Lawrence said there she is dope even at thirty nine,
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: as we see. I mean, damn, and I'm thirty nine.
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: Damn. It's crazy. So I wanted to pull up something
- 1:43:18Speaker 5: here real quick. So I've got Ironically, I have Lawrence
- 1:43:28Speaker 5: Postals tombstone as well. Now old lt Is I'll call
- 1:43:34Speaker 5: them from here on out. Didn't last too much longer
- 1:43:38Speaker 5: past the nineteen sixty three there you see passway July
- 1:43:43Speaker 5: twenty first, nineteen and sixty nine, at the young age
- 1:43:46Speaker 5: of fifty nine. Right.
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: World War Two veteran.
- 1:43:50Speaker 5: Yeah, what is that?
- 1:43:52Speaker 4: United States National Reserve? I don't know, regiment to naval yeah.
- 1:44:01Speaker 5: Maybe. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know, but yeah,
- 1:44:08Speaker 5: he was a World War two vet. In fact, that
- 1:44:10Speaker 5: which I just showed you is his uh his registration card.
- 1:44:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and looked like one.
- 1:44:16Speaker 5: Yeah for the uh. Yeah.
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: And by the way, thirty years old is very long
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: in the tooth. I mean to get into World War two,
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: you know what I mean?
- 1:44:30Speaker 5: Back then they were desperate, all hands on man.
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: That is true, that is true, but still long in
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: the tooth.
- 1:44:39Speaker 5: Yes. What's interesting is that this guy Lt was her
- 1:44:47Speaker 5: first husband, okay, and only husband. She did not remarry
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: after his death in nineteen sixty nine. With Lt. Postal,
- 1:44:59Speaker 5: she had four children, three daughters Michelle, Susan and Cheryl,
- 1:45:09Speaker 5: and one son, Michael. She also went on to have
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: many many grandchildren.
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:45:19Speaker 5: Julie Postal passed away in nineteen ninety five at the
- 1:45:26Speaker 5: age of seventy one.
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: Come on, Sally.
- 1:45:33Speaker 5: She was a member of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church,
- 1:45:36Speaker 5: Joe and the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Matta Gorda, The
- 1:45:42Speaker 5: Pink Ladies, and she had Jack to prove it, baby ladies.
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: And yes, Joline, we are going to get there very shortly.
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: To borrows trust us.
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: All right, here we have the marriage announcement Miss Irene
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: Simpson and Lawrence Postal, both residents of San Jose, was
- 1:46:06Speaker 5: solemnized at four o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of
- 1:46:09Speaker 5: Reverend and Missus Paul Offenheiser in Southgate. Missus Paul Postal
- 1:46:14Speaker 5: Chary is a former resident of Indiana, and her husband,
- 1:46:18Speaker 5: who is assistant manager of the California West Coast Theater
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: in San Jose, as a former New york Man. And
- 1:46:25Speaker 5: this is from nineteen thirty when he married his first wife. Okay, interesting,
- 1:46:35Speaker 5: And then we have some skaffuserie going on, Joe, don't
- 1:46:45Speaker 5: we all ask? We have some SKAFFOOSERI So Shirley Martin.
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: Right right, the researcher YEP.
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: In the old Wiseburg and archives. And you know she was.
- 1:47:00Speaker 5: She was writing Harold Weisberg frequently, keeping him abreast of
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: her research, if you will. And she found something pretty
- 1:47:12Speaker 5: interesting on old lt.
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: I'm breast. What did she find?
- 1:47:19Speaker 5: Well? Old seems to the old Lawrence. Okay, I see.
- 1:47:27Speaker 4: What intelligence community?
- 1:47:31Speaker 5: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: Was Lawrence an intelligence No? Okay, that was my guess.
- 1:47:39Speaker 5: Sorry, quite the opposite. He was a criminal, wanted for embezzlement.
- 1:47:48Speaker 5: Actually I don't know where he was working in Dallas
- 1:47:52Speaker 5: at the time, but he was wanted for embezzlement and
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: went on the lamb, left Julie and the kids and
- 1:48:03Speaker 5: said see you piece out, fuck you find me, did
- 1:48:06Speaker 5: he right?
- 1:48:07Speaker 4: Four kids? Right?
- 1:48:09Speaker 5: Yeah? And this was pre assassination, but not by long.
- 1:48:14Speaker 5: So a couple months before the assassination, lt wanted for
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: embezzlement under investigation, dips on her and the kids.
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: He sounds like a good guy like that.
- 1:48:25Speaker 5: Yeah, great guy, great guy. So I came across, like
- 1:48:35Speaker 5: I said, Shirley Martin, right, she sends this little something
- 1:48:38Speaker 5: something to Harold Weisberger, says Julie Postal's husband, agains Julie
- 1:48:44Speaker 5: is still under the hand of the Dallas police for embezzlement.
- 1:48:48Speaker 5: Buddy Walters told me he had to go to Florida
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: to bring Postal back to Dallas. This was before the assassination.
- 1:48:59Speaker 5: This is Julie's pressure point. In my dealings with her,
- 1:49:03Speaker 5: I found a terribly frightened woman, frightened of displeasing the
- 1:49:08Speaker 5: Dallas police.
- 1:49:10Speaker 4: Wow, okay, hold on, you're talking about they brought Julie back,
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: not Lawrence.
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: No, they brought Lawrence back, got it. Okay, I just
- 1:49:19Speaker 5: want to make sure Julie never left. She's there with
- 1:49:21Speaker 5: the kids. Yeah, lt left, got it, and Buddy Walters
- 1:49:27Speaker 5: had to go to Florida to arrest him or to
- 1:49:29Speaker 5: bring him back. I guess he got arrested in Florida
- 1:49:31Speaker 5: for some reason or picked up in Florida, and so
- 1:49:34Speaker 5: they called Dallas County Sheriffs and they sent Buddy Walters
- 1:49:38Speaker 5: to bring him back.
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: Which, by the way, means that there's some type of
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: leverage there.
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly exactly, That's exactly what that means, exactly. And
- 1:49:55Speaker 5: then it goes on. She surely says, Butch Burrows told
- 1:49:57Speaker 5: me that Brewer's story of Oswald dashing into his fourier
- 1:50:01Speaker 5: to hide was absurd. Now again, let me read that again.
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: Butch Burrows DOESUSA at the Texas Theater.
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: The Concession Skuza, which we'll get on too shortly.
- 1:50:12Speaker 5: Old Shirley Martin that Brewer's story of Oswald dashing into
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: his fourier to hide was absurd. According to Burrows, Brewer
- 1:50:21Speaker 5: changed his story from the original version, which, as he
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: told Burrows, had Oswald browsing in front of Brewer's shoe
- 1:50:30Speaker 5: display not too unlikely, as both Lee and Marina were
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: involved in a discussion that evening over buying a new
- 1:50:37Speaker 5: pair of shoes for Juni, which he also mentioned to
- 1:50:42Speaker 5: Robert Oswald when he visited him in the Dallas jail.
- 1:50:46Speaker 4: Did they sell kids shoes? Sure they did, Okay, I
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: don't know what. It looked like a business type of shoes.
- 1:50:54Speaker 5: But anyway, they're trying to give Oswald a reason for
- 1:50:56Speaker 5: being in the right, which, you know, whatever the fuck?
- 1:50:59Speaker 5: You know what?
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but I'm with you.
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: What's more interesting to me is lt being a criminal
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: now head Like when he passed away in uh his
- 1:51:15Speaker 5: cause of death was listed as a coronary occlusion whatever
- 1:51:22Speaker 5: that is.
- 1:51:23Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 1:51:24Speaker 5: I don't know what that is. But at this time,
- 1:51:29Speaker 5: missus Julia Postal is listed as the wife and the informant,
- 1:51:34Speaker 5: so she is the one. I guess he died at
- 1:51:36Speaker 5: home and she had to call nine to one one.
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: Oh she found it.
- 1:51:41Speaker 5: Somebody had one one yeah, yeah, from them.
- 1:51:46Speaker 4: She's good at that, thank you, James. Nice. Fine, let's
- 1:51:49Speaker 4: explain a lot.
- 1:51:52Speaker 5: It's a lot, so real quick. You want to see
- 1:51:58Speaker 5: the Postal residence I did, Oh yeah, give it to
- 1:52:04Speaker 5: all these fucking kids, and we're living.
- 1:52:08Speaker 4: Is it better or worse than a rest pena's place
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: we showed on members only. I think I know the answer.
- 1:52:16Speaker 5: It's worse. I figured that it's a shithole. I mean,
- 1:52:23Speaker 5: it's cufous a heaven. I mean it's a little boxy house, right,
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: I mean, if this is what it looks like now
- 1:52:34Speaker 5: it I mean it might have looked decent in nineteen
- 1:52:37Speaker 5: sixty three, but it's still a tiny, little ship box house,
- 1:52:42Speaker 5: you know. And when you got six people living in
- 1:52:45Speaker 5: a house this size, it gets created.
- 1:52:50Speaker 4: I'd be surprised if there were three bedrooms in there.
- 1:52:53Speaker 9: There's probably one or two one bathroom, right, a two
- 1:52:57Speaker 9: bad two bedroom, one bad house, right, right. That's an
- 1:53:01Speaker 9: air conditioner in every window, no central heat or or
- 1:53:04Speaker 9: central cooling.
- 1:53:06Speaker 4: Well that's now right, Yeah, yeah, Okay, what.
- 1:53:10Speaker 5: You can imagine it was like back then? Definitely nothing.
- 1:53:13Speaker 4: Definitely no air conditioning back then. I guarantee you that.
- 1:53:19Speaker 5: So, yeah, we're talking. This is a tiny little dude,
- 1:53:22Speaker 5: you know, like that's yeah, look at that. You know,
- 1:53:27Speaker 5: it's not very deep, is what I'm trying to say,
- 1:53:31Speaker 5: Which that's what she said. You know, so we're I mean,
- 1:53:36Speaker 5: there's a there's a lot of little ship box houses
- 1:53:39Speaker 5: around here. Yeah, that one's kind of nice.
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: Yeah. Up, they have fences, at.
- 1:53:50Speaker 5: Least royal royal fences. Yeah, that one's they're painted blue
- 1:53:59Speaker 5: on that one. But these of gold. Oh wow, See
- 1:54:02Speaker 5: how the roof kind of bows down in the middle.
- 1:54:04Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's structural damage there for sure.
- 1:54:08Speaker 5: Look all the cameras on.
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: The man even know what's gonna go? What's going on there?
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: Obviously we're in a bad part of town here, folks. Yeah,
- 1:54:19Speaker 5: obviously severs right.
- 1:54:23Speaker 4: But again it points to someone who could.
- 1:54:27Speaker 5: Be Look at that we on tire there, that's kind
- 1:54:31Speaker 5: of fun. It's flat, there's two of them. There's two
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: of them, and there's two gas tank doors.
- 1:54:38Speaker 4: That has to be that has to be.
- 1:54:41Speaker 5: Uh is this ai we're looking at here for I
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: don't know, I've never seen that before in my life.
- 1:54:50Speaker 5: And that one looks normal. It's whole cop car. Let's
- 1:54:55Speaker 5: get down the street here and see what. Oh look,
- 1:54:59Speaker 5: Texas Areola's they sell nipples in Texas and Ariola's body shop.
- 1:55:08Speaker 4: Oh my goodness. Yeah, and this is like today you
- 1:55:16Speaker 4: know what.
- 1:55:16Speaker 5: An areola is, don't you, Joe. That's the area around
- 1:55:22Speaker 5: your nipple. I did not know. You did not know that, truly,
- 1:55:28Speaker 5: that is the area around your nipple.
- 1:55:30Speaker 4: Oh, thank you. I learned something new today.
- 1:55:33Speaker 5: Across so bite. Just let your sow. Oh my god,
- 1:55:44Speaker 5: what else we got going on here? Looking? Body shop
- 1:55:50Speaker 5: has autumn? Yeah, this looks a little a little sketchy.
- 1:55:56Speaker 5: We're it's still in the hood.
- 1:55:57Speaker 4: Here, yeah, look at yeah, look at here.
- 1:56:01Speaker 5: Yeah, obviously an old gas station with no more gas. Yeah.
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: So that's the corner of Severs and Saner. Oh man,
- 1:56:15Speaker 5: I'm not sure if this is Oakcliffe. I don't know,
- 1:56:18Speaker 5: but uh.
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it might have been Irving. I either oak Cliffe
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: or Irving. I think it's one of those two.
- 1:56:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. Without you know, of course, going
- 1:56:33Speaker 5: back out Yeah yeah, yeah, exactly where the hell we
- 1:56:37Speaker 5: are here? But yeah, I don't know. No, it's it's
- 1:56:42Speaker 5: definitely an oak Cliff. It's a Sayer apparently intersects with
- 1:56:47Speaker 5: Beckley and Marsalis at some point. Huh. Interesting, So she
- 1:56:57Speaker 5: lived close by, basically not out of the realm of possibility. Now,
- 1:57:07Speaker 5: the last thing I have and then I'll give it
- 1:57:08Speaker 5: back to you, Joe Okay is from Bill Simpitchu's State
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: secret Okay, yep. He puts the time of Tippet's death
- 1:57:18Speaker 5: at one oh nine, roughly according to all an amalgamation
- 1:57:22Speaker 5: of all the evidence, Okay. Oswald has not yet been
- 1:57:27Speaker 5: identified as a suspect because the shells were not found
- 1:57:32Speaker 5: until one twelve. He's talking about up in the sixth floor,
- 1:57:38Speaker 5: right right. That's about when the shells were found. Even
- 1:57:42Speaker 5: after the rifle was found a little later, nobody was
- 1:57:45Speaker 5: able to tie the gun or shells to Oswald until
- 1:57:47Speaker 5: early the next morning, after going Decline Sporting Goods in Chicago,
- 1:57:51Speaker 5: where quote Alex Hydell had mail ordered the man look
- 1:57:55Speaker 5: or Carkano found on the sixth floor that apparently shot
- 1:57:59Speaker 5: the shells, says. By round one pm, Oswald reaches home
- 1:58:04Speaker 5: in Oak Cliff, changed his clothes, grabbed his revolver, and
- 1:58:07Speaker 5: went back out the door. A police car beaped outside
- 1:58:10Speaker 5: Oswald's home shortly before he left. The distance from Oswald's
- 1:58:13Speaker 5: house to the theater was about a mile, which is
- 1:58:16Speaker 5: roughly three minutes if he got a ride, fifteen minutes
- 1:58:19Speaker 5: if he's on foot. It was roughly the same calculus
- 1:58:22Speaker 5: of Oswald headed towards the Tippic crime scene. I think
- 1:58:27Speaker 5: it's more likely. He says that Oswald went straight to
- 1:58:30Speaker 5: the Texas Theater and was never at the Tippic crime
- 1:58:33Speaker 5: scene because Butch Burrows, the concessions employee for decades, told
- 1:58:38Speaker 5: Jim Mars in nineteen eighty seven that he sold Oswald
- 1:58:43Speaker 5: popcorn around one fifteen PM. Now, of course Burrows doesn't
- 1:58:49Speaker 5: mention this in his Warren Commission testimony, But we know
- 1:58:51Speaker 5: how Warren Commission testimony goes Joe. Yes, you don't offer
- 1:58:56Speaker 5: up any information, and you only answer the questions that
- 1:58:58Speaker 5: they ask. You not go off script or that's it right, right.
- 1:59:06Speaker 4: And the lawyers know exactly what to ask, and when
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: you go off script they changed the subject.
- 1:59:12Speaker 5: Yes, so you know you can't be selling Oswalt popcorn
- 1:59:16Speaker 5: at one fifteen He's supposed to be over there killing
- 1:59:18Speaker 5: Tippet right at this time. Dale Myers challenged Burrows, saying
- 1:59:26Speaker 5: that he told the Warren Commission that he didn't see
- 1:59:28Speaker 5: Oswald slipping to the theater. He also didn't mention selling
- 1:59:31Speaker 5: popcorn to Oswald. But Myers missed the point. Ticket take
- 1:59:35Speaker 5: a Julia Postal quoted Burrows is saying, well, I saw
- 1:59:39Speaker 5: him coming out, presumably when Oswald bought the popcorn. Burrows
- 1:59:44Speaker 5: was never asked by the Warren Commission if he saw
- 1:59:46Speaker 5: Oswald prior to the police hunt. Again, very specific questioning
- 1:59:52Speaker 5: of the buy. The Warren Commission of these witnesses.
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: Yep, I have some slides on that. A couple of minutes.
- 2:00:01Speaker 5: He goes on to say Burrows didn't have much dob
- 2:00:04Speaker 5: for the Warrent Commission. It would be good to find
- 2:00:08Speaker 5: out how he was prepared for his questioning. Although he
- 2:00:11Speaker 5: did hear from the shoe store owner down the street
- 2:00:13Speaker 5: that someone had slipped into the theater without paying this
- 2:00:17Speaker 5: someone may have done it precisely to draw attention to Oswald.
- 2:00:20Speaker 5: Burrows didn't know who it was, but believed that anyone
- 2:00:23Speaker 5: who did that had gone straight up the stairs to
- 2:00:26Speaker 5: the balcony, because otherwise he would have had the right
- 2:00:29Speaker 5: angle to see who it was. Oswald was arrested on
- 2:00:32Speaker 5: the ground floor. He told the commission, I hope I
- 2:00:36Speaker 5: helped you some, and the response was merely, yes, I
- 2:00:38Speaker 5: hope you did too. Burrows also told Mars that Julia
- 2:00:45Speaker 5: postal knew that she sold Oswald a ticket earlier that day,
- 2:00:50Speaker 5: but didn't want to admit it. She moved away from
- 2:00:52Speaker 5: Dallas to escape questioning on the subject and her skufuz
- 2:00:56Speaker 5: A husband. Apparently, when ms Postal was asked by researcher
- 2:00:59Speaker 5: Joan Harris if she realized, upon seeing Oswald's face that
- 2:01:03Speaker 5: she might have sold him a ticket, she burst into tears.
- 2:01:06Speaker 5: This is the this is the whole tears story right
- 2:01:09Speaker 5: that we can or cannot corroborate. But yeah, there are
- 2:01:17Speaker 5: some other things here, but I'll hand it back to
- 2:01:19Speaker 5: Joe and we'll get there. We'll get there.
- 2:01:25Speaker 4: Yes, So as Jolene has been anxiously awaiting, let's talk
- 2:01:30Speaker 4: about Warren quote Butch Burrows, the Brews, the Brews, I
- 2:01:36Speaker 4: like to Bruise, assistant manager of the Texas Theater and
- 2:01:40Speaker 4: Ocliff John Brewer, the manager of Hardy's Shoe Store, saw
- 2:01:46Speaker 4: a man acting strangely. Blah blah went over that. Brewer
- 2:01:51Speaker 4: went to the theater and spoke to Burrows about the
- 2:01:53Speaker 4: suspicious character Burrows that seen him enter the balcony of
- 2:01:57Speaker 4: the theater. When the police arrived to Brewer accompanied the
- 2:02:01Speaker 4: officers into the seminars from Spartacus, where he pointed out
- 2:02:05Speaker 4: the Mandian seen acting in the suspicious manner. After a
- 2:02:07Speaker 4: brief struggle, Oswalt was arrested. Burrows claimed that Oswald endured
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: the Texas Theater just after one pm. He also testified
- 2:02:20Speaker 4: that Oswalt came downstairs and purchased some popcorn at one
- 2:02:24Speaker 4: point fifteen. You just mentioned this, So let's go to
- 2:02:28Speaker 4: Butcher's warrant commission testimony. Were you living the Army? No, sir.
- 2:02:35Speaker 4: They tried to get me, but I couldn't pass. I
- 2:02:38Speaker 4: passed the physical part. Am I sharing this?
- 2:02:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:02:44Speaker 4: I passed the physical part, but not the mental part. AKA,
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: he had some mischies. Not that I'm hating, but I
- 2:02:58Speaker 4: didn't make enough points on this.
- 2:03:01Speaker 5: Or would Joe have passed the mental part?
- 2:03:05Speaker 4: Doubtful? So the board sent me a card back and
- 2:03:09Speaker 4: classifying me different. On November twenty second, you were working
- 2:03:13Speaker 4: at Texas Theater. Yes, sir, Did you see that man
- 2:03:16Speaker 4: coming into the theater? No? Sorry I didn't. Did you
- 2:03:18Speaker 4: have any idea what you were doing when he came in? Well,
- 2:03:23Speaker 4: I was. I had a lot of stock candy to
- 2:03:26Speaker 4: count and put in the candy case for the coming night.
- 2:03:30Speaker 4: And if he had came in and again it says
- 2:03:34Speaker 4: like one two o'clock. So I'm not sure why he's
- 2:03:38Speaker 4: doing that for the coming night. But again his mental issues.
- 2:03:42Speaker 4: And if he had came around in front of the
- 2:03:45Speaker 4: concession out there, I would have seen him, even though
- 2:03:48Speaker 4: I was bent down.
- 2:03:51Speaker 5: Whatever that.
- 2:03:55Speaker 4: Maybe bent down like stalking the shelves, right, I would
- 2:03:59Speaker 4: have seen him. But otherwise I think he sneaked up
- 2:04:01Speaker 4: the stairs real quick fast up to the balcony. Yes, sir,
- 2:04:05Speaker 4: I think he was up there.
- 2:04:07Speaker 5: But again, even if he's bent down stocking the candy case,
- 2:04:11Speaker 5: they generally have a glass front. Am I wrong?
- 2:04:14Speaker 4: Joe?
- 2:04:14Speaker 5: You are not that you can still see through? Well,
- 2:04:18Speaker 5: you have to to choose your candy, right, and if
- 2:04:21Speaker 5: you're in the back of it stocking it, you can
- 2:04:23Speaker 5: probably see out through in front of it, I'm guessing.
- 2:04:25Speaker 4: Yeah. I had two of my best friends work at
- 2:04:30Speaker 4: a movie theater in the town next over, and I
- 2:04:33Speaker 4: like lived at that. Uh that the candy stand if
- 2:04:42Speaker 4: you will, and uh free popcorn, all that good stuff.
- 2:04:45Speaker 4: So yes, one, you have to see it. Yeah. Was
- 2:04:50Speaker 4: he handcuffed Oswald? Yes, Burrow says, whereas hands behind him
- 2:04:54Speaker 4: are in front of him, they were behind him. Did
- 2:04:56Speaker 4: you ever see a police officer strike Kim Burrows? No?
- 2:05:06Speaker 4: So is this McDonald's story bullshit? Might be I don't know.
- 2:05:11Speaker 4: Did you see a police officer with his arm around
- 2:05:13Speaker 4: the neck of this man who arrested him? I don't believe. So.
- 2:05:16Speaker 4: Did you ever see a police officer strike this man.
- 2:05:18Speaker 5: With the butt.
- 2:05:21Speaker 4: Of a shotgun? So again, mister Ball here, Joseph Ball, No, sir,
- 2:05:28Speaker 4: Burrow says, but he's asking about a shotgun, right, not
- 2:05:33Speaker 4: a pistol? Do you see here? I'm getting at here?
- 2:05:39Speaker 4: Like they they formed the they formed the questions to
- 2:05:44Speaker 4: get the right answers. Were any of the officers in
- 2:05:47Speaker 4: the theater armed with shotguns? No, sir, I don't believe so.
- 2:05:50Speaker 4: I think that's all. And that after he gives answers
- 2:05:54Speaker 4: that they don't like, that's all, mister Burrows. And again
- 2:05:57Speaker 4: it's like two pages, whereas Brewers is like ten or something.
- 2:06:04Speaker 4: I don't know, And this will be written up. I
- 2:06:07Speaker 4: want you to come down and sign it.
- 2:06:09Speaker 1: Uh.
- 2:06:10Speaker 4: He wants to sign a statement, blah blah blah. So uh,
- 2:06:14Speaker 4: let's now look at an interview from Burrows.
- 2:06:23Speaker 3: Which is vetty interesting. If I could ever get it up,
- 2:06:32Speaker 3: if I could ever get it up upon attending. I
- 2:06:39Speaker 3: think I think Ferry would have liked me.
- 2:06:42Speaker 5: I think he would have too.
- 2:06:44Speaker 4: So this is a mister Butch Burrows. I don't know
- 2:06:48Speaker 4: when this was the menu.
- 2:06:50Speaker 5: K Kennedy, okay, oh it will be the eighties. But
- 2:07:01Speaker 5: there's playing alone at home. I can't hear it. I
- 2:07:08Speaker 5: can't hear it, Joe, you can't hear it.
- 2:07:15Speaker 4: Wave, I don't know why. Let me refresh it.
- 2:07:23Speaker 5: I don't know why either, but yeah, I definitely could
- 2:07:24Speaker 5: not hear it.
- 2:07:27Speaker 4: All right, Well, the sound is all the way up,
- 2:07:31Speaker 4: so let's do take two. If not, i'll change browsers.
- 2:07:41Speaker 4: But all right, can you hear it now?
- 2:08:01Speaker 5: I can't see it? What I can't see it? But yeah,
- 2:08:06Speaker 5: I can hear it.
- 2:08:07Speaker 4: Oh, because I didn't share, because I'm an idiot.
- 2:08:12Speaker 5: And take three?
- 2:08:13Speaker 4: Take three?
- 2:08:17Speaker 5: Now I can't hear it. What I can't hear it.
- 2:08:25Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 2:08:27Speaker 5: I don't know either.
- 2:08:29Speaker 4: All right, just just you know what, let me uh,
- 2:08:34Speaker 4: let me uh, let me switch browsers.
- 2:08:37Speaker 5: Here like a vaulta brin.
- 2:08:41Speaker 4: I don't know what's going on here.
- 2:08:46Speaker 5: Oh yeah, a police off. A policeman hit me.
- 2:08:54Speaker 4: A policeman hit me. All right, let's go to this.
- 2:09:29Speaker 5: Can't hear it? Mm hmm, can't hear it?
- 2:09:35Speaker 4: Jesus Christ. All right, I'm gonna. I'm just gonna play
- 2:09:40Speaker 4: it through my thing, my jig, through my.
- 2:09:47Speaker 5: Trump playing it now and Trump playing it now.
- 2:09:50Speaker 4: Because I I literally have just been doing the same
- 2:09:53Speaker 4: thing I've been doing.
- 2:09:54Speaker 5: Like I just hear the audio parts thirty seconds. We
- 2:09:56Speaker 5: don't need to see him.
- 2:10:01Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 2:10:01Speaker 5: Two movies now, I can't hear it either. Damn.
- 2:10:06Speaker 4: Okay, I'm gonna.
- 2:10:07Speaker 5: I'm gonna goddamn.
- 2:10:12Speaker 4: There, I got it. Don't worry. So this is you
- 2:10:20Speaker 4: can see him? Right?
- 2:10:23Speaker 5: No, No, I can add him to the scene.
- 2:10:28Speaker 4: All right, maybe maybe this will work now. Sorry, I
- 2:10:32Speaker 4: don't know what's happening. It's weird. Nope, no, nope, all right,
- 2:10:41Speaker 4: I'm gonna do it for my phone. But I'm gonna
- 2:10:44Speaker 4: put a scaffoosa face back on.
- 2:10:46Speaker 8: There were paying two movies, Nicole, uh, world as hell.
- 2:10:58Speaker 8: They don't even murder Pain five Battle was ten and
- 2:11:01Speaker 8: a half, and he turned the movie at Monacott and
- 2:11:09Speaker 8: now it was Ken and Candy bend the candy case.
- 2:11:13Speaker 8: And he also slipped in around between one and.
- 2:11:21Speaker 4: One seven. He said Oswald slipped in around one to
- 2:11:31Speaker 4: one o seven.
- 2:11:34Speaker 5: And if that's true, he definitely connot have shot tippet right.
- 2:11:40Speaker 4: And he like what you read from State Secret that
- 2:11:44Speaker 4: would indicate he probably went right to the Texas.
- 2:11:49Speaker 5: Theater right and either got a ride there or walked.
- 2:11:54Speaker 4: Correct. So I'm sorry about that. I don't know what
- 2:11:57Speaker 4: happened who, but uh, one to one oh seven, I
- 2:12:07Speaker 4: mean that's not even close.
- 2:12:14Speaker 5: Yeah, way early, way early.
- 2:12:21Speaker 4: And of course he's a little you know, mentally not there,
- 2:12:29Speaker 4: I guess according to the Army, so but so who
- 2:12:33Speaker 4: knows what you could take that for. But I guess
- 2:12:36Speaker 4: our whole point here is that none of the timing
- 2:12:39Speaker 4: works up, none of the testimonies really line up, and
- 2:12:46Speaker 4: they took a really long time to interview these people here.
- 2:12:49Speaker 4: And I don't know, man, I just know there's a
- 2:12:56Speaker 4: lot of skuffoosery happening here with with Ozma and the
- 2:13:02Speaker 4: timing of the tip of shooting his entrance into the theater,
- 2:13:08Speaker 4: allegedly the Oswald double. And I saw Jack said something
- 2:13:14Speaker 4: earlier about Harvey and Lee. I'm not touching that one,
- 2:13:18Speaker 4: but uh uh yeah, man, crazy crazy stuff going on
- 2:13:27Speaker 4: with these three people.
- 2:13:31Speaker 5: Well, yeah, you want to hear some other crazy shit
- 2:13:34Speaker 5: always don't.
- 2:13:36Speaker 4: You don't have to ask me.
- 2:13:37Speaker 5: You're gonna love this. So apparently Johnny Calvin Brewer knew
- 2:13:44Speaker 5: Jack Ruby. Okay, he also was friendly with some Dallas
- 2:13:54Speaker 5: police officers. How well, let's just say this.
- 2:14:05Speaker 4: He lived.
- 2:14:08Speaker 5: In the same apartment building as Carousel Club stripper Kathy
- 2:14:12Speaker 5: k and knew her and her two young daughters. That
- 2:14:16Speaker 5: is to say, she was dating one Harry Olsen, yes Dallas.
- 2:14:25Speaker 4: Who was I believe at the Carrolsel Club on Saturday night, right.
- 2:14:32Speaker 5: Yep, talking to Jack Ruby in the car for three hours,
- 2:14:36Speaker 5: which is interesting. And oh, by the way, Johnny Calvin
- 2:14:42Speaker 5: Johnny Calvin Brewer also knew his buddy Nick McDonald, who
- 2:14:50Speaker 5: just happened to be the guy that took Oswald down. Right.
- 2:14:57Speaker 4: Wow, it's just crazy to me that Burrows and his
- 2:15:04Speaker 4: warrant commissioned testimony. Rob says, I'm gonna go back to this.
- 2:15:09Speaker 4: I'm not gonna put it up. Did you see a
- 2:15:20Speaker 4: police officer strike him as an Oswalt?
- 2:15:23Speaker 8: No?
- 2:15:24Speaker 4: Did you see a police officer with his arm around
- 2:15:27Speaker 4: the neck of the man who wrested him? No? I
- 2:15:29Speaker 4: don't believe so. Do you ever see a police officer
- 2:15:32Speaker 4: strike this man lee with the butt of a shotgun? No, sir,
- 2:15:36Speaker 4: or any of the officers in the theater armed with shotguns? No, sorry,
- 2:15:41Speaker 4: I don't believe so. And then they end it. They're like,
- 2:15:45Speaker 4: all right, well, thanks, thanks man, thanks for thanks for
- 2:15:48Speaker 4: giving a short tom. When an interview doesn't go according
- 2:15:55Speaker 4: to plan, they either change the subject or they end it,
- 2:16:00Speaker 4: and they're hoping people like us are not going to
- 2:16:03Speaker 4: find this shit. Sixty three years later, two.
- 2:16:06Speaker 5: Years later, and also interestingly interestingly enough, uh, of course
- 2:16:20Speaker 5: there was a report from Stringfellow, who was the DPD
- 2:16:25Speaker 5: head of the Criminal Intelligence Division or whatever. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:16:28Speaker 5: who wrote a report. It's a Ganaway, who was you know,
- 2:16:32Speaker 5: his boss, and and so forth. And again this was
- 2:16:37Speaker 5: the day after and you mentioned that they said that
- 2:16:42Speaker 5: Oswald had been arrested in the balcony of the Texas Theater.
- 2:16:46Speaker 5: You think by then they'd have their story straight. Obviously
- 2:16:51Speaker 5: that's not the case.
- 2:16:53Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:16:54Speaker 5: What's also hella interesting.
- 2:17:01Speaker 4: Is the guy that saw the guy get arrested behind
- 2:17:04Speaker 4: the theater too taken out.
- 2:17:06Speaker 5: But let's let's let's take a look at what the
- 2:17:08Speaker 5: back of the Texas Theater looked like Joe. So here
- 2:17:18Speaker 5: is what the rear of the Texas Theater looked like.
- 2:17:25Speaker 4: As Brewer and Burrows were covering the exits to make
- 2:17:28Speaker 4: sure no one would leave.
- 2:17:30Speaker 5: Right right, the door on the right is the rear
- 2:17:33Speaker 5: door through which police entered the Texas Theater, the one
- 2:17:36Speaker 5: that Johnny Brewer opened up and allegedly lets these people in, right,
- 2:17:40Speaker 5: the cops, right.
- 2:17:41Speaker 4: I believe Westbrook's car was in the back, right.
- 2:17:45Speaker 5: Yeah, And there was also a truck back there with
- 2:17:47Speaker 5: the engine running that nobody seems to know who belonged to. Now,
- 2:17:53Speaker 5: to the left of that is a pathway that runs
- 2:17:55Speaker 5: to the sidewalk in front of the Texas Theater. To
- 2:17:58Speaker 5: the left there's a pathway from the alley from Jefferson
- 2:18:02Speaker 5: to Jefferson Boulevard. Now, there was no metal door on
- 2:18:05Speaker 5: there like there is now In nineteen sixty three. It
- 2:18:09Speaker 5: was just a open walkway. Anybody could walk behind, you know,
- 2:18:13Speaker 5: from from the front of to behind the theater through
- 2:18:16Speaker 5: this little alleyway right, Uh huh, okay, not really an alley,
- 2:18:20Speaker 5: just big enough for somebody to walk through, you know.
- 2:18:22Speaker 5: I guess bring the trash, you know.
- 2:18:24Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe like a service entrance or exit whatever.
- 2:18:28Speaker 5: Yeah, just something more. You wouldn't have to walk all
- 2:18:31Speaker 5: the way around a goddamn block just to get behind
- 2:18:32Speaker 5: this place, you know what I mean, Like there's a cot. Now.
- 2:18:39Speaker 5: What's interesting is, of course there's been there's that big
- 2:18:45Speaker 5: Bernard hair owner Bernie's hobby shop, who says that, you know,
- 2:18:48Speaker 5: for all these years he thought he saw Oswald getting
- 2:18:50Speaker 5: arrested out the back door theater.
- 2:18:52Speaker 4: All right, that's his name right right.
- 2:18:56Speaker 5: But I want to say what he saw was Johnny Brewer, huh,
- 2:19:08Speaker 5: getting pulled out out out back right, because he didn't
- 2:19:12Speaker 5: hang around inside the theater. After he pointed Oswald out,
- 2:19:16Speaker 5: they were like, all right, get the hell out of here, bro.
- 2:19:18Speaker 4: And I could see how from a far distance we
- 2:19:23Speaker 4: showed the video of Brewer, and I think it was
- 2:19:26Speaker 4: sixty four, I could see how he might have thought
- 2:19:30Speaker 4: that was Oswalt.
- 2:19:31Speaker 5: And I was thinking, you know, if they had Brewer
- 2:19:36Speaker 5: out the rear entrance and they probably stuck him in
- 2:19:40Speaker 5: a cop car and took him down to the station right.
- 2:19:42Speaker 4: Right, because they asked him, he goes, they.
- 2:19:44Speaker 1: Go, what are you doing here?
- 2:19:46Speaker 5: Yes, and he's the guy that pointed him out. So
- 2:19:48Speaker 5: I figured, okay, well, they pulled him out the back
- 2:19:50Speaker 5: of the Texas Theater, probably stuck him in a squad
- 2:19:52Speaker 5: car and took him down to the station. But we
- 2:19:54Speaker 5: know that's not true because he didn't do an Affidavid
- 2:19:58Speaker 5: for how long?
- 2:19:59Speaker 4: Sixteen days?
- 2:20:01Speaker 5: Sixteen days to seburse sixth. So in this interview with Greggs,
- 2:20:13Speaker 5: he says, he says this, let's see, there were several
- 2:20:35Speaker 5: fists thrown in Oswald's general direction, and he was handcuffed
- 2:20:39Speaker 5: and let out, and they let him out the aisle
- 2:20:41Speaker 5: towards me, and we were just a couple of feet apart,
- 2:20:45Speaker 5: and he was actually looking at me when he said
- 2:20:47Speaker 5: I'm not resisting arrest. Greg says, you heard him say that.
- 2:20:51Speaker 5: He said, right, Did he say that to you? He
- 2:20:54Speaker 5: said no, he was just said that in general, but
- 2:20:56Speaker 5: he was looking kind of at me. I don't know
- 2:20:59Speaker 5: if he recognized me from the shoe store or not.
- 2:21:02Speaker 5: And Greg said, and he took him out through the
- 2:21:04Speaker 5: front entrance onto West Jefferson, and he says, yes, And
- 2:21:08Speaker 5: as I was going to leave, I was stopped by
- 2:21:10Speaker 5: two FBI or plane clothes, and they took my name
- 2:21:14Speaker 5: and address, and he said, and Greg says, well, once
- 2:21:19Speaker 5: that was all finished, once they'd arrested Oswald and handcuffed
- 2:21:23Speaker 5: him and took him outside and spoke to you briefly,
- 2:21:25Speaker 5: what did you do? And he said, well, he was
- 2:21:29Speaker 5: gone by the time I got out of there, The
- 2:21:31Speaker 5: police were all gone, and I just walked back to
- 2:21:34Speaker 5: my store, So he was not taken immediately down. So
- 2:21:44Speaker 5: again we still don't know who in the hell Bernard
- 2:21:49Speaker 5: Hair saw come out of the back of the Texas
- 2:21:53Speaker 5: Theater and get put in a cop car or arrested,
- 2:21:55Speaker 5: if you will. It wasn't Brewer. I thought might have been,
- 2:22:00Speaker 5: but it wasn't. So again we got a mystery inside
- 2:22:06Speaker 5: of a mystery. And just to put it into perspective
- 2:22:11Speaker 5: for everybody, because we talk a lot about shit here,
- 2:22:14Speaker 5: and if you've never been to Dallas, it's kind of
- 2:22:17Speaker 5: hard to get all this shit in your brain. Okay,
- 2:22:20Speaker 5: So let's start at the top of this picture, Joe,
- 2:22:23Speaker 5: where you see the book depository is marked okay, and
- 2:22:28Speaker 5: then you to the right of that, this is where
- 2:22:31Speaker 5: Lee Harvey Oswald gets in the taxi after the bus ride. Okay,
- 2:22:36Speaker 5: he's got to go over the Houston Street Viaduct which
- 2:22:38Speaker 5: goes over the river. Right, it's the Trinity River. I
- 2:22:43Speaker 5: could be wrong, So follow the red line from Harvey
- 2:22:47Speaker 5: and taxi. As we're coming down here. You get over
- 2:22:50Speaker 5: the viaduct, the Houston Street viaduct, you go past the
- 2:22:54Speaker 5: glow Cose station where Tippett was allegedly sitting and waiting. Yep.
- 2:23:00Speaker 4: Cars.
- 2:23:02Speaker 5: Now follow the red line past the Grolocco station Gloco,
- 2:23:07Speaker 5: and you see it come up to the corner of
- 2:23:09Speaker 5: Beckley and Zang's, which is close to where Lee Harvey
- 2:23:17Speaker 5: Oswald is staying at the rooming house. But instead of
- 2:23:19Speaker 5: getting out right there, he has the driver drive five
- 2:23:24Speaker 5: long city blocks past the rooming house where he gets
- 2:23:29Speaker 5: out of the taxi and makes a hairpin you turn
- 2:23:33Speaker 5: back and walks back to his rooming house. Okay. Now
- 2:23:41Speaker 5: from Oswald's rooming house where it is, follow the yellow
- 2:23:45Speaker 5: arrows to the left, which will bring us over Okay,
- 2:23:53Speaker 5: to the Texas Theater on Jefferson Street. If you follow
- 2:24:03Speaker 5: it down, follow the yellow brick road on down. Okay,
- 2:24:09Speaker 5: the yellow arrows they bring you down to Jefferson Street.
- 2:24:12Speaker 5: And if you make a right, if you're driving, if
- 2:24:15Speaker 5: you make a left. Looking at this picture, it runs
- 2:24:19Speaker 5: you down to the Texas Theater and then on past
- 2:24:22Speaker 5: that at the top ten record store. Blah blah blah. Right,
- 2:24:27Speaker 5: Now go back to Oswald's rooming house and follow the
- 2:24:32Speaker 5: dotted line to the right. This is Oswald's alleged route
- 2:24:39Speaker 5: to the scene of the Tippett murder. Now, if you're going,
- 2:24:43Speaker 5: if you have every intention of going to the Texas Theater, Joe,
- 2:24:48Speaker 5: are you going to walk that red dotted line to
- 2:24:52Speaker 5: get there or are you going to go straight down
- 2:24:57Speaker 5: back late to Jefferson Street. I wore down sayings to
- 2:25:01Speaker 5: Jefferson Street.
- 2:25:03Speaker 4: I would a million percent not take the route he
- 2:25:06Speaker 4: did it. It's not efficient whatsoever, especially if you're talking
- 2:25:12Speaker 4: about accounting for the time of when Tippet's killed.
- 2:25:15Speaker 5: Right, So again, that's a mile. The red dotted line
- 2:25:20Speaker 5: is a mile. So we're following the red dotted line
- 2:25:23Speaker 5: down to where Tippet is murdered. Okay. Now there is
- 2:25:28Speaker 5: a purple line from the tipp and murder scene, okay,
- 2:25:33Speaker 5: and it is going to run you down if you
- 2:25:35Speaker 5: follow it all the way to the Texas Theater, which
- 2:25:40Speaker 5: appears to me if we're looking at the scale of
- 2:25:45Speaker 5: this map, and if it's accurate, another country fucking mile
- 2:25:54Speaker 5: the tipp And murder scene to the Texas Theater. If
- 2:25:57Speaker 5: you're comparing a mile between his rooming house and then's
- 2:26:00Speaker 5: the Tippet murder scene.
- 2:26:02Speaker 4: Even longer, yeah, even longer.
- 2:26:06Speaker 5: If you take the red route from the tipp murder scene,
- 2:26:09Speaker 5: which is right right.
- 2:26:11Speaker 4: You know, it's based on where the jacket was found.
- 2:26:14Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, allegedly he took the red route right. The
- 2:26:18Speaker 5: purple route takes you all the way down and then
- 2:26:22Speaker 5: into the alley behind the Texas Theater, which is this
- 2:26:26Speaker 5: is Westbrook and Kroy's route from the Tippet murder scene. Okay.
- 2:26:31Speaker 5: The solid red route is Oswalt's Okay. So this is
- 2:26:38Speaker 5: just how just for perspective purposes, you know, we talk
- 2:26:45Speaker 5: like we throw out uh and there's Marsala Street all
- 2:26:48Speaker 5: the way on the right, right right.
- 2:26:51Speaker 4: Ten Marcellas. That was great. That was a great U observation, bro.
- 2:26:59Speaker 5: Yeah, so I just thought that this was a good
- 2:27:03Speaker 5: illustrative visual, you know, to see how all this shit
- 2:27:08Speaker 5: was laid out. Yeah, all all and.
- 2:27:15Speaker 4: What forty five minutes up at most?
- 2:27:20Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a lot.
- 2:27:21Speaker 4: It's a lot, man, Bro. I open up an app
- 2:27:26Speaker 4: and it's forty five minutes later, you know what I mean? Like,
- 2:27:31Speaker 4: I just time goes by so quickly. I don't see
- 2:27:36Speaker 4: how it all lines up, the timing. It's just nothing
- 2:27:40Speaker 4: about it makes sense to me. And oh, by the way, Joe, oh,
- 2:27:48Speaker 4: that's his half dollar bill.
- 2:27:51Speaker 5: This is what Oswald had in his pocket, right.
- 2:27:55Speaker 4: Which allegedly his contact would have had the other half correct.
- 2:28:04Speaker 5: Interesting, this is spycraft shit.
- 2:28:10Speaker 4: Yeah, man, I I think I think it was just
- 2:28:16Speaker 4: so screwed up. And they had to like connect so
- 2:28:22Speaker 4: many dots to make this timeline work. And you have
- 2:28:29Speaker 4: a twenty two year old kid right, who could obviously
- 2:28:33Speaker 4: be leaned on by police. You have Julie Postal and
- 2:28:38Speaker 4: her criminal husband supporting four kids who could easily be leveraged.
- 2:28:44Speaker 4: I see this as optimal circumstances for.
- 2:28:51Speaker 5: Skoffuzie again, and all of their testimony changes over time.
- 2:29:03Speaker 5: There's things added, there's things left out, And this ranges
- 2:29:07Speaker 5: from Burroughs to Brewer. Postals to me, controllable. If she's scared,
- 2:29:15Speaker 5: her husband's in trouble with the with the Dallas cops.
- 2:29:18Speaker 5: He's a fugitive from justice, you know, he's treating her
- 2:29:21Speaker 5: like shit and her kids. She could probably be made
- 2:29:25Speaker 5: to say anything. She doesn't say much, you know, she
- 2:29:31Speaker 5: doesn't admit to anything. Well, I can't remember. I don't
- 2:29:33Speaker 5: know if I saw him to take her or not.
- 2:29:35Speaker 5: I saw him go in. I didn't see him going in.
- 2:29:37Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:29:40Speaker 5: And that's pretty much it for her, you know. Like
- 2:29:44Speaker 5: they even have Johnny Brewer at the mock trial in
- 2:29:48Speaker 5: the eighties when they did the mock trial thing. Oh really,
- 2:29:51Speaker 5: Oswald on trial. Yeah, I didn't know it was there. Yeah,
- 2:29:55Speaker 5: that's a good video. But like again, there there's if
- 2:29:59Speaker 5: you really down this rabbit hole, it's crazy. It's crazy.
- 2:30:07Speaker 5: And why don't we have a list of the people
- 2:30:08Speaker 5: who were in the fucking Texas theater.
- 2:30:11Speaker 4: That's another thing.
- 2:30:14Speaker 5: Obviously, you know, especially if Oswald was there to meet somebody, right,
- 2:30:19Speaker 5: because we have the dude moving from seat to seat,
- 2:30:22Speaker 5: sitting besides strange people, you know, obviously for some reason,
- 2:30:28Speaker 5: he's got half a dollar bill in his pocket. It's
- 2:30:33Speaker 5: a good place to meet up because it's dark in there, right,
- 2:30:37Speaker 5: nobody's really paying attention to who you are. Really, chances
- 2:30:40Speaker 5: are you knowing somebody in there is slim going to
- 2:30:43Speaker 5: the movies on a weekday at one o'clock, you know
- 2:30:46Speaker 5: what I mean? Yes, yeah, a lot of stuff going
- 2:30:51Speaker 5: on here.
- 2:30:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think he was bugging and I
- 2:30:55Speaker 4: think he had a meeting point scheduled there, and I
- 2:31:02Speaker 4: think they tried to mess with the timeline too to
- 2:31:07Speaker 4: make it all work and with tip it. I mean,
- 2:31:10Speaker 4: that's what it looks like to me.
- 2:31:13Speaker 5: But you look at the luga.
- 2:31:16Speaker 4: A look at the luga. I was gonna say it, right,
- 2:31:19Speaker 4: but you beat me to it. YEA, thank you.
- 2:31:22Speaker 5: I mean, we.
- 2:31:24Speaker 4: We try. We we don't plan this out in advance.
- 2:31:28Speaker 5: I mean we we kind of do, but we are
- 2:31:30Speaker 5: lads of information that is already out there. But you know,
- 2:31:35Speaker 5: that's the only way we're going to get anywhere is
- 2:31:36Speaker 5: if you start pulling some of this ship together from
- 2:31:39Speaker 5: different sources and trying to figure it all out and
- 2:31:42Speaker 5: see what fits together and what doesn't, what makes sense
- 2:31:46Speaker 5: and what doesn't. What's the most likely scenario here? Somebody's
- 2:31:49Speaker 5: lying everything can't be true. You know when you when
- 2:31:56Speaker 5: you when you see people talking like Brewer, and you
- 2:31:58Speaker 5: know you say, all right, well this is dude. The
- 2:32:00Speaker 5: line is ass off mm hmm, and kind of sus
- 2:32:04Speaker 5: you know, about who he knows mm hmm. And I
- 2:32:07Speaker 5: still think it's odd that he knows Butch and Julie
- 2:32:11Speaker 5: by first on a first name basis. It's odd to me.
- 2:32:16Speaker 5: And he's only been working there a year, but you
- 2:32:17Speaker 5: already know the people are working in the theater by
- 2:32:19Speaker 5: for on a first name basis. I don't know. Yeah,
- 2:32:23Speaker 5: all that that's weird.
- 2:32:25Speaker 4: And the and and the IBM people who he let close,
- 2:32:30Speaker 4: he doesn't remember their names. Uh, my guests, as there
- 2:32:35Speaker 4: was someone in the theater that they did not want exposed,
- 2:32:41Speaker 4: whether well, he.
- 2:32:42Speaker 5: Didn't even close. The fact that there's two skuffoozs from
- 2:32:45Speaker 5: IBM inside his store, to the to the Dallas Police
- 2:32:48Speaker 5: or the FBI or the Warrant Commission or the Wark Commission. Right,
- 2:32:52Speaker 5: these people he doesn't know their names. They were never interviewed.
- 2:32:55Speaker 5: They could have corroborated his story about Oswald ducking in.
- 2:32:59Speaker 5: You know, you think if you have two guys that
- 2:33:02Speaker 5: hang out in your store right and on the radio,
- 2:33:07Speaker 5: the President's just been shot, a CoP's just been shot,
- 2:33:11Speaker 5: You're gonna be talking to these other two guys in
- 2:33:13Speaker 5: your store about that, Like how crazy this is? And
- 2:33:17Speaker 5: then all of a sudden, the cop cars are running
- 2:33:19Speaker 5: up and down in front of your business, and you're like,
- 2:33:21Speaker 5: what's going on here? Oh, the cop guy killed around
- 2:33:23Speaker 5: the corner, and some guy runs in your store. Basically
- 2:33:28Speaker 5: he's three on one. At that point, you're like, all right, boys,
- 2:33:30Speaker 5: let's get him. Instead, he takes it upon himself to
- 2:33:35Speaker 5: play Sherlock Holmes. Yeah, really he does and track him down,
- 2:33:41Speaker 5: book them Dan, Oh that's the guy.
- 2:33:44Speaker 4: Yeah. And I think, uh, I think it was Jack
- 2:33:47Speaker 4: that had the thought or the comment that it could
- 2:33:51Speaker 4: have legit been Brewer taken out the back, don't. I
- 2:33:59Speaker 4: don't rule that out at this point.
- 2:34:01Speaker 5: Right, But he wasn't put in a cop car. And
- 2:34:05Speaker 5: Hare said the guy he saw was Brewer said he
- 2:34:08Speaker 5: walked away and went back to his shop.
- 2:34:10Speaker 4: Well that's what he said.
- 2:34:12Speaker 5: That's what he said in ninety six, right, ninety six ago.
- 2:34:17Speaker 5: But again, if he was, if they would have stuck
- 2:34:19Speaker 5: his ass in a cop car and took him back
- 2:34:22Speaker 5: down the station, we'd have an Affidavid from November twenty second, right,
- 2:34:25Speaker 5: we don't, right, So the fact that they took his
- 2:34:29Speaker 5: information turned him loose makes sense.
- 2:34:31Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 2:34:32Speaker 5: So that to me, seems like somebody else they're talking
- 2:34:35Speaker 5: about the got arrested out the back of the Texas Theater.
- 2:34:39Speaker 5: And then you get into Harvey and Lee, you get
- 2:34:43Speaker 5: into Larry Crayford possibly being the other Oswald.
- 2:34:49Speaker 4: I'm true, Yeah, definitely could have been there.
- 2:34:53Speaker 5: Yeah, whoever shot Tippett being the other Oswalt. It's interesting
- 2:34:59Speaker 5: and John Armstrong has a that good stuff on this.
- 2:35:00Speaker 5: Jim Mars has a lot of good stuff on this.
- 2:35:02Speaker 5: If you want to dive in deeper, I suggest you
- 2:35:05Speaker 5: go track it down again. You can find the interviews
- 2:35:08Speaker 5: with these people in the weirdest places like the mock trial.
- 2:35:14Speaker 5: The men who killed Kennedy. Mark Lane, for some reason
- 2:35:19Speaker 5: didn't touch these people with a ten foot poll which
