- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Dream big.
- 0:01SPEAKER_02: Plan smart.
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: Build well.
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: This is the TFS Podcast, where money talk gets real and financial freedom is more than just a goal.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: Without further ado, let's dive in.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: Hi guys and welcome to another episode of the TFS Wealthcast.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: And today we have a very interesting episode.
- 0:22SPEAKER_02: Today we're going to talk about the TFS Loyalty Program, which we just launched on the 1st of October.
- 0:28SPEAKER_02: It's officially out.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: I have our directors, Pramu and Sonali, here with me, and they're going to tell us everything you need to know about the TFS Loyalty Program, how it works, and whatnot.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: Now, before we start talking about the loyalty program, I would like to ask Pramu and Sonali what led to the loyalty program.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: Let's talk about the TFS and LOLC partnership for a little bit.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Sure, we see.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: From Sri Lanka, they went to multiple countries.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Now currently they are operating in 27 countries, and it's growing into different uh countries.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: So these kind of um achievements inspires me a lot.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: So I want to, I always wanted to be a part of a group that always has the progress mindset rather than a sustainable mindset.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: So it was a um, I would say, you know, people say, you know, it's a it's a it's a match made in heaven.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Uh I think it's it's one of those things.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Uh so that's why I I I uh I wanted to do that, and obviously, Sonalis, when when she comes to the equation, she looks into all aspects of it, mitigating the risk, you know, what's the growth pattern that we could have in TFS.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Um, it's all aligned.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: And then after that, here we are in 2025.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: We are under LOS group, growing rapidly.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Um, I would I think this is the the the TFS loyalty program that we launched in October.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: It's a game changer, it literally is a game changer.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Um even people want to copy it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's not that easy to copy this now.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: If the people want to copy these kind of uh things, I mean they can if they want to, but they won't be able to deliver the way that we will deliver.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Um, because of the large group that we are part of, we can do some crazy things here.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: So so it's good.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: I'm excited about our customers, I'm excited about our uh growth and our journey in TFS.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Um the the future looks very, very bright.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: So yeah, um that's that's one of the main reasons I I I I wanted to partner with a uh group like LOLZ so so we can grow.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: And we are showing the world that you know in a short period of time, we have grown.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: And uh now before we get on to Sonali and start talking about the loyalty program, I'm sure that's what the audience wants to listen.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Let's let's let's talk a bit about the growth you mentioned, Pramu.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: So before you partnered with LOLC, what the team set up was like, the number of employees you had versus now the number of employees we have, and a bit about the volume that we are doing at TFS.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I think that that's a good uh point to mention as well here since we were talking about growth.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, Vishy.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Um, so before the partnership, we I believe that we had a total of uh I would say about 12 to 13, maybe maybe 14 uh employees working.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Uh we had different structures as well.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, we were trying out different kinds of structures.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: So some structures did work, some structures didn't work.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Uh I don't, I I would probably advise for a lot of people do not do certain types of structures.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Um but uh the growth since then.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Right now we are having about 25-26 people working, and uh there's about another uh five more people joining in the month of October, so we'll pretty much go as a 30-plus team members.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Uh numbers-wise, it's it's it's bonkers.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Uh I I mean we we we we don't usually go to social media and uh put these things out, but you know, this is a podcast.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: I can say these kind of things.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Um we were we were averaging between 180 to 200 million lodgements to uh 140 to 150 million settlements.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: We did the partnership in the month of March.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Since then to October, we are now in the path of doing 400 million set uh lodgements and a 300 million settlements.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: That's doubling up.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Uh so you know uh it's exciting the amount of clientele we are gathering, amount of clientele now who wants to become part of TFS.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: It's also crazy.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: Uh and we're doing all this without hindering the customer experience that TFS gives customers, right?
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Because if you look at our ratings, our ratings are still holding up even though we've started increasing the number of customers service.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so that uh we don't we we we will never get those ratings down.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: We that's not who we are.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: We will never change who we are, our value system, why we started TFS, we still uphold that.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: Uh, and I believe that's one of the reasons LOLC also like the brand of TFS, uh, the people who work here, uh, they adore us.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, we were we are a very small company in Australia operating in uh suburbia, right?
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: And now we are thinking of uh a state dominance to nationwide dominance, and we are also planning on uh going to a few different countries in in coming years as well.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: So um there's a reason that uh global giants would come and invest their time and money uh for organizations like us because they see the potential that we will we could do.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: And they see the employees, the commitment, the loyalty.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: Uh and that's one of the reasons that we call this TFS Loyalty Program.
- 7:23SPEAKER_02: All right, thank you for that, Pramu.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: Now I see Sonali's, yeah, she's getting a bit annoyed that we're not letting her speak.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So now No, that's fine.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: I'm just here twiddling my thumbs.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: That's fine.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: So so now let's talk about what everyone is tuning into this episode for the TFS Loyalty Program.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: So, Sonali, you're the best person to talk about the TFS loyalty program because you're the one who uh worked behind the scenes and put everything together, did all the numbers and whatnot.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: So without any further ado, Sunali, let's talk about the TFS Loyalty Program.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: So, what is the TFS Loyalty Program, Sunali?
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: So essentially, what we wanted to do was um so previously, when you really look at you know how a brokerage operates, you would just clients would come in, you'd get a loan, and that was it.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: No one was thinking about you know how do we reward the clients for their loyalty to us?
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: How how do we um reward clients who stay with us year after year?
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Um there's there wasn't a nice way to do it and a commercially viable way to do it previously either.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: But with the partnership, obviously, like Pramu said, with LOLC, having um exposure to you know a lot of sectors, especially the leisure sector.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: Um we were just thinking about it one day, how do we go about rewarding our clients?
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: And then the idea just came up, okay, well, why don't we come up with a program where we give credits to the clients based on their loan balances?
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: If they move over to us, refinance a loan or um come to us for a purchase um loan, we based on their loan balance, we would give them credits and then they can use these credits and redeem them at any one of our properties that LRC has in Sri Lanka.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Um and then we also wanted to take it further and see how do we give the client something that, you know, like paying a mortgage is a significant part of their salary, right?
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: So if you take anyone's salary, it works out to be more than sometimes 50% of their salary.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: Average supposed to be about 45, 40 percent.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: So, like, you know, like when I buy shoes for my kids, every five pairs of shoes I buy, they have a loyalty program giving me a pair of shoes for free.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: But that's a very small percentage of my income that I spend on that.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: They have loyalty programs for everything, but not, you know, a loyalty or rewards program for you know something a lot of clients spend majority of their take compay on.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: So we were like, okay, how do we, you know, go about rewarding the clients um for something like that for staying with us year after year?
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: And then we came up with this idea.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: Uh, why can't we do that?
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: There were quite a few brainstorming sessions we had with a lot of, you know, the heads of the hotels that we were partnering with, um, travel agents that we were partnering with.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: So so it's about what how many how many properties that we have in in our group?
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: It's about 15 properties uh altogether, and it's growing across Sri Lanka.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: It's growing.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: So four, five-star hotels, luxury, private villas.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so our clients can pretty much go and stay at any one of those.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Right, right now, uh Sonali and and listeners, we are only launching the Sri Lankan properties.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there are other properties outside Sri Lanka, which we will launch them as well.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: Now, today uh I uh uh uh you know uh managed to speak to the airlines, and uh Singapore Airlines is gonna be also part of it.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: So uh we'll be having uh we are having Sri Lankan Airlines, uh Malaysian Airlines, and Singapore Airlines for you to redeem your points.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna grow this this program like that.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: Uh so you you you have multiple choices.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: Uh you you get to, you know, we understand every customer is very different to each other.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Some want to go to the beach and do surfing, some like to go to you know, go and witness uh a wildlife, uh what Sri Lanka is offering.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: Some just like to go to quiet places, just relax from all the years that they've been working hard and buzz the the life of me.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: They have I mean take me as an example.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: Um my life is so busy.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: When I go to Sri Lanka, I don't I I I I like to go and meet my friends, you know, have a few drinks, do some partying, but then at the same time, I want to get away from all the uh busyness and just hustle and bustle and and stay in a place that just with the nature, just listen to it and just do nothing, literally.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: I don't like traveling too much without any emails, yeah.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: You know, you don't you don't get the you know or bank assessors calling you?
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: No, right?
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Right, and you know, you even my team members calling me busing, you know, busting my chops.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: No, I like to go and just go off the grid.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: So people like us, I know there's quite a quite a number of people out there in Australia who who are in the top management from CEOs to business owners who've been working uh you know 15, 16, 18 hours a day, right?
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: I know quite a number of guys, these are successful people, right?
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: I know there's eight hours that we're supposed to work, you know.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Um I don't tell that to my team members, eight hours is for normal people.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: The people who succeed is way more than eight hours.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: No, right?
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: So so um you need you need uh to go and switch off.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: You need to go off the grid, uh, reset yourself.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Uh folks, I go to Sri Lanka every year to switch off.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Switch off the phone, switch off the laptop, no emails, just myself, um, and certain days personalis there with the kids and all four of us just off the grid.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: Thanks, guys.
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: So now that we've touched on uh sort of the vision that we have with the loyalty program, let's let's talk how uh the how the credits work Sonale and how the tiers of the loyalty program work.
- 14:17SPEAKER_02: So so you did mention that the loan balance accumulates points for the client.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: So if you could elaborate a bit more exactly on how that would work.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: So um when you come to TFS for your mortgage, if you're let's say you're refinancing, and let's say as an example, you're refinancing a$500,000 home loan, right?
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: For each$100,000 of a loan balance, you earn 70 credits up front.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: That means for a$500,000 loan, you earn 350 credits up front.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: And then from the second year onwards, for every year you stay with us, you keep getting points as well.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: So you get to accumulate points.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Um you pay your mortgage every month, and every month you accumulate points.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: So that means for all of the time you stay and are loyal to TFS, we reward that loyalty.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Um, so once you've accumulated the points, you can redeem it at any one of our properties.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: You can put it towards airline tickets as credits.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: So you have the option to use it whichever way you choose.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Now, the beauty of this is because we are partnered with LOLC and these are some of their properties, we've got essentially, let's how do you say, the credits can go a long way.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: So, for example, if you were to go and book one of these properties on your own, you'd get, you know, a certain rate.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: But because of um the way we've done it and because they're we're in partnership with them, you get to basically get more for your buck, essentially, more for your credits.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: So you get a lot more uh night stay by using your credits than if you were to go and book it yourself outside of TFS.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: So essentially you get you can get two, three, four nights even depending on your um loan balance for free.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: So it's a free holiday basically.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: So um there are various properties, beachside properties, hill country, Ayurvedic properties.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: Um, we've stayed at a lot of these properties ourselves, so we can attest to how amazing they are.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Um, and yeah, so it's it's it's our way of saying thank you in a way, as well as you know, yeah, it's basically it's it's our way of rewarding the loyalty.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Loyalty that our customers show us.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, this uh this wellness program uh from IWA uh uh properties that we we have, uh it's amazing.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Um this is something that I recommend for uh CEOs, managing directors, um mothers who have been going through so much of uh uh you know so much of crazy things on a day, right?
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's it's it's it's it's unbelievable amount of things that you know the ladies do uh as being mothers.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: I mean just uh make sure he has dinner when he goes over there.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: What dinner?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: I'm here doing podcasts, doing us for dinner.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's you know you can you I mean all the other mothers out there when you see me next time, you know, you can say hello to me.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Uh promo went a bit off script there.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: No, I mean what what what I was trying to explain there was like you you need to reward yourself, right?
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: Um that's one of those things, you know, just it's amazing when you when you when you take a time, even a week, if you take that one week off, you you are reset, you're you're ready to go.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: You are ready to go and do this whole thing again for the next next year.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: So uh uh um the loyalty when when you think about the when when the loyalty is being rewarded, and you get to redeem it the way you want it.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: We will never tell you you do this, you do that, you do that.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: It is up to you.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: That's what this TFS loyalty program is about, and that's the vision, and that's our passion.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: And I just want to touch on another thing, Sunali.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: Now we spoke about the credits.
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: Now we have tiers with the loyalty program.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: Now, now the one one of my favorite things about the the higher tiers, you get you have the gold and uh platinum tiers, they can give their credits to friends and family.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Could you elaborate a bit more on that?
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: So when we were coming up with this, we were like, okay, so we've got people here who have a lot of family back home in Sri Lanka.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: So if you you are not able to travel to Sri Lanka, what can you do?
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: You can gift it to your family members, you can book the hotel stays or whatever that is that you want to do and get your family to go stay.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: So be it a birthday, an anniversary, whatever it is, on those tiers, which is based on the account balances, obviously, the loan balances.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: And that can be the total of multiple loans they have.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because we've got, you know, obviously clients with a lot of properties, so they'll have um, you know, quite a few loans, then you would be automatically on those tiers.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: You can gift it to your friends and family back home.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: So um the option of using it not just on yourself, but your family in Sri Lanka as well.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: I think we should mention um our background is Sri Lankan for those who don't know us.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: So um we're quite passionate about giving back to Sri Lanka as well, especially uh in the last few years.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: We've had a lot of issues, economic um crisis, all that.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: So um this is another way of you know us giving back.
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so the loyalty program is also kind of a CSR practice for TFS as well.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: Definitely, definitely.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: Because every time we go back there, you know, um you help a lot of people.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: You help the tour operators, the hotel workers, the you name it, like um yeah, it it helps in whatever little way we'd like to do that.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: So that's why we're we're quite passionate about having this.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: That's where that's why we started this um with the Sri Lankan properties, just to encourage you know, tourism in there as well.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: Experience the beauty of Sri Lanka, right?
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Now now that we've touched on what the TFS loyalty program is, uh this is a topic that Pramu really likes to talk about.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm gonna I'm gonna give Pramu the chance to talk about it.
- 20:58SPEAKER_04: The leopard.
- 20:59SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no, no, not the leopard, not the leopard.
- 21:01SPEAKER_02: He so so with the with the LOLC partnership, you know, the TFS loyalty program is not the only thing offering uh customers.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: You know, they have other special financial privileges that uh Pramu is very eager to share.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: So Pramu, there you go.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: This is your stage.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, I absolutely so um I like to I like to uh people who who know me, uh I I don't get settled to just one thing.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: I I want more.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Um so with the with the LOLC partnership and the TFS loyalty program, we have come up with cross-border investments opportunities for Australians.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: Now, a lot of people didn't want to invest in Sri Lanka because when you send the money to Sri Lanka, your money is stuck, you can't get the uh profits back to Australia.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Now, the reason I'm saying Australia.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Australia, right now we operate in Australia only.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: TFS.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: When we come to UK, when we come to Canada, when we come to New Zealand, let's talk.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: But for now, for Australians, you got this.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: So you get to go and invest in Australia.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: Whether it's an apartment in the city, whether you want to go and invest in a in a in a project, uh garment-backed projects, uh, whether you want to go and buy a business, right?
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: And and develop it, make profits.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: It's all about making profits.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: We love profits, so we will help people who want to do that.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: If you're part of TFS, if you have your mortgage, or if you have your uh yeah, I mean, just keep it simple.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: If you have your mortgage, everybody got a mortgage, right?
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Or you or if you don't have a mortgage, let us give you money from the property that you already own, unencumbered, so you can go and invest in Sri Lanka and and and uh and and and what things all right you finish and then I'll put my disclaimer.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: It won't be me if I don't say things, right?
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: Okay, sorry.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: So so Sarali was po Sarali was poking and saying, you know, asking me to finish up early.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: So Dodo is really passionate about this.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: So so um you get to you get to do you get to do that, you get to go and invest this thing through IIA accounts, and these are government-backed, so your money is always safe.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: But it is up to you how you invest it.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: But if you make profits, you bring you get to bring your money back as well as your profit backs without any hassles.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: So TFS and LOSC, if you're part of TFS, you get this privilege through LOLC.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: LOS is the only company right now who you can do this.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: Now, there are other things.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna talk about them today.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: In this episode, uh, we are thinking of different kinds of investments as well, even for Sri Lankans who wants to go and invest in Australia.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: So there are a few few areas I'm I'm currently uh discussing, and and let's see uh how quickly I can bring it to them as well.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: So um there was one thing that you but but Sanali mentioned, uh you know, giving back to Sri Lanka.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Uh it is I I I have to tell to tell this to the all the Aussies.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: All the Aussies have seen this in um media these days or social media these days.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: Sri Lanka is the place to go and holiday and you know do whatever you like.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: It is it is true.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: You you have the best beaches, in my opinion.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: You have you have the the best wildlife, again, in my opinion, and then you know, uh go to uh different kinds of hotels and villas and relax.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: The the night life, even the night life, the party life is not you know 26 20 27-year-old.
- 25:05SPEAKER_03: Depends how old you are.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 27-year-old is uh you know, it's in the nightlife is good.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, trust me, it is very good.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: I I I have been to a few places, man, it's buzzing, right?
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: You know, even at three o'clock in the morning, there's a quite a lot of people drinking and having a chat.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: It's a party, it's a brilliant place, trust me.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: So, so guys, you know, you meant you didn't mention the food.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: Ah, there you go.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: The food, you know, if you want to gain a few kilos, that's the that's that's the place you gotta go.
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: But you know, you will never have a guilty conscience, even if you gain about five kilos, because those food, it's alright, you know, come back here, hit the gym.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, since since we're on the topic of growth and uh new new things that TFS is introducing, one thing that Pramu you've always wanted TFS to do is uh tailor financial planning to high-income earners like doctors, lawyers, engineers, and you know, business owners, because they need the right advice, right?
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: And Sonali's always uh been trying to push it away and not do financial planning, but now indefinity TFS is uh gonna be doing financial planning services as well, right, Prabhu?
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: So yeah, absolutely.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, we we were we were doing financial planning uh before, uh, to correct you, but we were very, very selective.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Selective.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Very, very selective who we bring on on board because the the strategies that Sonali sometimes give, um, not everybody deserves it because they don't understand how valuable it is.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: So we were very selective uh who we bring on board, and we give that advice, all these customers, even after 15 years, they are still here.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: Not a single financial give you a statistic here, not a single financial planning customer has gone to another place who has come to TFS, right?
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: Now that's the quality of that's uh that's the quality.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: So it's not for everybody.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: We are very selective who we're gonna bring, but now you know, um Sonali finally has given me um green light green light.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna bring the financial planning services to everybody, but there are tiers.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: It is it these things are uh structured in in your capabilities and what you want to do.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: It's it's all about the trust.
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: You gotta trust the system, you gotta trust the process, you trust it, you will get it back.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: You will get it and their children.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: So we will talk about intergenerational wealth creation, right?
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: Uh when we talk about game changes, these are the things we're gonna bring.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: Uh, and we will deliver it and we will show in in the in the practical manner how how it will be done.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: We won't just talk and not walk.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: We will walk first and then we'll talk.
- 28:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I guess that that touches a lot on the TFS customer journey, right?
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: We don't look at customers as a one-time deal where they come get the loan, you know.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: We get paid, that's not what we do.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: They can go to a mortgage.
- 28:14SPEAKER_02: They can go to a say say the word pro.
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: There's enough brokers out there working from home, you can go to them.
- 28:21SPEAKER_02: So at TFS, we want our customers to be a client for life.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: That's why we have the loyalty program and all these other interesting uh offerings you just mentioned.
- 28:30unknown: Absolutely.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: There was uh there was a one thing I I I I I couldn't mention uh on the special financial privileges that we are bringing to to us uh uh a TFS loyalty program.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Um it's called uh foreign uh uh uh uh forex, right?
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: So so FX deposit.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: So uh whether you you're gonna deposit from um uh AUD, USD or UK pounds, you have um, but again, I I must say we're not in UK or U US yet.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: So uh unless an Aussie's got some USD and UK pounds, if you're a TFS client, you get to uh put uh certain types of deposits through uh in in LOLC, which you will get very high returns.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: So more details to come on that.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: Uh you want to find out more, you know, hit us up.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: More than happy to tell.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: I need to say a couple of things on that.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: This is not financial product advice.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't be me if I didn't say this.
- 29:40SPEAKER_02: Hit us with those disclaimers.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: Yes, that's why we got a financial planning.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: We we do get preferential rates.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: So if anyone wants to do um deposits in Sri Lanka, we can basically hook you guys up.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: But it is not us recommending it that I need to make clear.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: You have to do your own due diligence, and yeah, it it's yeah, Soral.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: But if you have money in Sri Lanka LKR, you can invest there as well.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: Is that it's okay or whatever you do is entirely up to them, it's the clients, but we can get you preferential rates through our contacts and put you in touch with the right people, and then you guys can take it from there.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: So um yeah, if you need to just let us know and then we'll be happy to help and put you in contact.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so these this is part of the TFS loyalty program.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: So there's quite a lot gonna come in the future as well.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: We are slowly uh bringing in uh these kind of uh privileges for customers who so you basically become TFS family, so you get friends and family rights.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: We got we got your back, we take care of our family, yeah.
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: So, with that being said, guys, uh that's that's the big news about the TFS loyalty program, and of course, uh promo did you know uh enlighten you guys on future plans and product offerings that we have for clients.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: So do stay tuned because uh TFS is going and we're only going one way, and that's up.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: Alright, so let's finish it off with a fun way.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: Alright, I'm gonna ask a question from Vishy.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: Vish is gonna ask a question from Sonali, and Sonali's gonna ask a question from me.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: This is a very simple thing.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: So the question is I'm gonna ask you very simply in when you go to Sri Lanka, what's the most favorite thing that you want to do?
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: And you will never ever compromise when you go to Sri Lanka.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: You will always gonna do that.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: See, guys, the reason Pramu asked this question is because when we ask him the question, he's gonna talk about a leopard.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 31:47SPEAKER_03: So he was jumping at the fix to talk about this leopard.
- 31:52SPEAKER_02: The podcast never came to a place where we asked Prammu the question.
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: So let's let's give Pramu the, you know, Pramu, what is your favorite thing to do in Sri Lanka?
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: Come on, I asked the question first, so let it let it let it let it run a bit.
- 32:05SPEAKER_02: Okay, to this is not a PG answer.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: I like to go get drunk and party with my friends.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: That's we gotta we gotta we gotta party we gotta party boy here, right?
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: So, Vish, what are you gonna ask from Sonali then?
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know what question to ask.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know what question to ask you.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: I don't think you said it up.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: He said it up.
- 32:27SPEAKER_02: Sonali, what's your favorite thing about going to Sri Lanka and what do you like to do?
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: I do like the food.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, going on safari.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Lee, I won't elaborate.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: You you won't elaborate about the leopard.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: You really, you know, you know, you're not you're not talking about uh the the you know the those kind of uh the the the things that you all the ladies go, you know, get your hair done, all that things as well.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: You like that?
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: I've seen that to the ladies that don't like to do your hair, you know, it's fine.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: They're not gonna discriminate you.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: Just you know putting that disclaimer.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: They do have one hour pedicures.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: You gotta listen to this.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: That's pretty good.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she she she made me go and do it as first time ever in my life.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: I did that.
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: Pedicures.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, oh, it's the best, it's the best, yeah.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: I even took a photo of Pramu.
- 33:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I deleted it.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Um okay, Pramo.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: What do you love doing when you go to Sri Lanka?
- 33:31SPEAKER_02: That's my favorite thing about Sri Lanka Pramu.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, you guys, oh, I mean, you do you stole my thunder there, and you know, you told it's the leopard.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is the leopard.
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: It is the leopard, right?
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: It that you know that leopard is um it's like I'm I'm an I have an obsession uh in Sri Lanka, right?
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: So for some reason, it's hard to piss.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, with all that marketing, even with example loyalty.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the leopard is front and center.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, Ishara, if I get a bloody leopard tattooed, don't get pissed.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: You know, I like tattoos too.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: So hang on.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: So it's for me going on wildlife safari, right?
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: The the amount of animals I get to see, the way they roam around, and and it's amazing.
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: And I can see my kids, they love it.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: And they they they ask questions, they ask questions from me.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: Some questions, some questions I don't even know what to say.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: But then we have a we we always, always we have a guide, right?
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: Who knows about the the the national park that we are visiting, who knows about the pretty much about all the animals, and like it's amazing.
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: It's amazing, and and uh and I I remember one time uh my my son got a uh certificate uh to become a ranger uh because he he got to go and observe birds, um you know uh uh he he he also learned how to track animals right now.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: These these these are crazy stuff, and you get to go and do it.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: I was actually walking with my son as well, and I'm learning too.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: I'm like, can I get a certificate too?
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: You know, it it it's it's amazing.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: For me, the one of the favorite thing is that to go to wildlife and and and see animals.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: But you know, if I see the leopard, man, um that's that's my day.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: Um but apart from that tonale for me, Columbo life, Columbo night life.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, even before it gets night, it's it's it's it's a party place, right?
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: And I think I have got drunk many times by three o'clock in the afternoon because we just hang around, few few people having a chat, three o'clock.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: We all are drunk.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: It's one of those island life.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: It's an island life, it's it's a beautiful place to be.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: People are lovely, um, you know, all these um misconceptions about um the the you know the country is not doing good.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: Look, the even Australia have their problems in the economy side of it, but this is the place you gotta be.
- 36:05SPEAKER_01: So that's why I'm selling it this hard.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: And because I'm selling Sri Lanka doesn't mean I'm gonna get something out of it.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: I'm saying this to you because I genuinely like this country, it's a brilliant place to go.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: It's a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant place to holiday with your family.
- 36:22SPEAKER_01: Safest place, in my opinion.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: Alright, guys.
- 36:25SPEAKER_02: So before we wrap up this episode of the TFS Wealthcast, uh Pramo and Sunali.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: If I can ask you guys to wrap up the TFS uh loyalty program in one line, Sunali, what would you say?
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: It's a no-brainer.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: It's a no-brainer, people.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: And promo, what would you say?
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: It has to be a one-line, is it?
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean I mean, I can.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: You don't need to compare anymore, right?
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: This is it.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: You're gonna get the lowest rate regardless.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: It's an overhand, like she said, and it's not that hard.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: Okay, if people are saying you're gonna get this because of me, no, that's not how it works.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: You're gonna get the lower rate if that person is willing to work a little bit hard.
- 37:17SPEAKER_01: Our guys working hard.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: On top of that, you'll get the right structure for you to create wealth for yourself, for your family, and beyond.
- 37:30SPEAKER_01: Now, icing on the cake is you get to go and enjoy while you do this.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: So, like Sanali said, it's a no-brainer, it's a no-brainer, no-brainer, it's a no-brainer, you know.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: And as Ossie says, what?
- 37:45SPEAKER_02: Fair income waste.
- 37:47SPEAKER_02: Alright, guys.
- 37:48SPEAKER_02: So, with that being said, that's another episode of the TFS Wealthcast, and we are wrapping up.
