- 0:24SPEAKER_03: Let's go.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: Let's go, man.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: This is a long time coming.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: It's a long time coming.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: Um, just some show notes before we start.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: That's how directors do it, right?
- 0:31SPEAKER_03: Show notes.
- 0:32SPEAKER_03: Listen, I haven't been on the set yet.
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: So have not been on the set yet.
- 0:36SPEAKER_03: This is technically a set.
- 0:37SPEAKER_03: No, but this, you know what I'm talking about, bro.
- 0:39SPEAKER_03: I got you.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: You are the professional one here.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I got you, allegedly.
- 0:42SPEAKER_03: So, like, how does how does it go?
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: Like, the director comes out, he's like, he has a big book of notes or something.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Well, first you have your production manager.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: They typically give, you know, the breakdown to the crew.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: The director deals How do they treat the star?
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: How do they treat the star?
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because you're the star.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: I'm not the star.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: You're the star.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I'm a supporting supporting actor.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: You're gonna put that all on me.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: I'm putting it on you.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'm the lead man.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: You the lead man?
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: I don't think that's fair, man.
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: It's a lot of pressure, guys.
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: They treat him really well.
- 1:06SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:06SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:07SPEAKER_03: But who does he speak to?
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: The director.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: Okay, so yeah, so these are the directors' notes.
- 1:11SPEAKER_03: Um the this podcast is gonna be on the Gas Money feed.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: You might recognize me and uh GR from Gas Money.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: He's a recurring guest.
- 1:19SPEAKER_03: I'm a host on our podcast as well.
- 1:21SPEAKER_03: And we're gonna take you through the journey, man.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: We're gonna take you through everything.
- 1:25SPEAKER_03: We're gonna take you through there, as uh Quavo and that young lady said.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: We are gonna make sure that you guys are you know caught up to speed with all the stuff in nerd news, um, comics, TV shows, books.
- 1:37SPEAKER_03: Um, you name anime.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: Um I missing anything?
- 1:41SPEAKER_03: Nah, that's it.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: Oh no, theater.
- 1:44SPEAKER_05: Yeah, theater too.
- 1:45SPEAKER_03: What about the opera?
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: Is that is that in our uh that's a little bit more on the music side.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: Okay, I think that's where musical theater.
- 1:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, musical theater.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: Cool, cool, cool.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we're gonna do it all, man.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: We're gonna do it all.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and we're gonna have some cool guests.
- 1:57SPEAKER_03: Um, we're gonna we're gonna do it all, man.
- 1:59SPEAKER_03: And we just want you guys here with that journey with us.
- 2:01SPEAKER_03: Um, but first I want to start with uh introductions.
- 2:03SPEAKER_03: Um Mr.
- 2:05SPEAKER_03: Taylor, yeah, tell us about yourself.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: Tell us what brings you on this journey.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Well, first of all, I'm a QA guy, but AG's one of my closest friends.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: We've been friends for almost maybe a decade?
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Over a decade.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Definitely.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: But um me and AG have always had conversations about film, anime for short, all of the stuff we've talked about.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And had different differing opinions.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: So to me, this is the perfect platform to kind of hash those things out.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Yes, and uh explore them.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: But my background, um I've been an actor for hold on now.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: But the point is, 13 years, that's what it is.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: 13 years.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Hold on, hold on, that deserves a round of applause.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: Black man in America doing anything for 13 years, round of applause.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: This is true.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: 13 years.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Um, nothing too major yet.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I've been acting for 13 years.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: I have some theater background, film background, commercial background, voiceover background, um, and even independent film that goes back further than 13 years.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: That's probably closer to 15 years where I've been writing and directing and still do some of that now.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Um when it comes to the comic book side, I was one of those kids in junior high school.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: I went to a small school in Queens 192, and I there was a um a library across the street.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: And my first two years there, I would go across the street after school and just read comic books and draw them and write them and had my own like you know, pseudo-comic book that I was writing.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: So a lot of that.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Then I got introduced to anime, obviously.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: We don't call it Dragon Ball Z anime or Dragon Ball, but that was my first experience.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Like live action cartoons that had intense um death and consequences and character development.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: So that was my first experience, and I think I had to be around 10 or 11 at that time.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: So um, all that leads to now where I still do those things, I still deal with those things, and um at this point, there's gonna be new content and things coming out, largely inspired by the fact that we're actually launching this podcast.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, yeah.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: He lit that fire in me.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Listen, that's my background.
- 4:13SPEAKER_03: Uh, Mr.
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: Taylor GR, he um he's he's more than just a friend to me.
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: He's he's downplaying it.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: This guy has been a mentor to me in so many different facets of life.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: And uh this is just a passion that it meets right here in the middle, so we get to do it, and uh it's it's gonna be so dope.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: As for me, I don't have this illustrious career like the the lead man here.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: He's trying to he's trying to play coy.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: Um I have aspirations, I have big ones, I have grand ones, and I was inspired, especially.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: We're gonna talk about that later about the Oscars.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: Um, but I'm a podcaster, first and foremost, um, in terms of the media space.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: That's pretty much what I do.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: I like producing podcasts.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: I'll be behind the scenes.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: I like being in front of podcasts.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: Uh I think I'm a good A, B, C, D mic, and um, I can just, you know, I can help you build a podcast.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: I know I know the instance has been doing it for like 10 years plus.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: Um that's a round of applause.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: Okay, I do.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: You're right, you're right, you're right.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: I gotta teach you these buttons, man.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna learn them.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so um, but yeah, I do hope one day to be the the holder of an Oscar for directing.
- 5:22SPEAKER_03: I want to be a director.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: I think, listen, I'm gonna I'm gonna date myself.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm in my early 30s, I'm 31.
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: And I think that as a man, the the more you mature, like you want to add more feathers to your cap.
- 5:34SPEAKER_03: You want to and directing, I feel like that's gonna be my second half of my life.
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: I think my 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, I think that's where I'm gonna really dive into my director bag.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: And um, not to put too much sauce on it, not to make it weird, but like every good director needs a muse.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: And I think I think GR of all yeah, I think he's gonna be my muse.
- 5:57SPEAKER_03: He he acted like he's a little long in the tooth, like we can't do some like old man Logan stuff.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: We can do that, and you know, I'm just saying, like that man was close to 50 shit.
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: I'm just saying, I'm just saying, but black don't crack though, it's true, yeah.
- 6:10SPEAKER_03: And you know, with with AI and all that, we can we can de-age you.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: All right, we let Will Smith do it, so why can't we do it with Mr.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: Taylor?
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: But yeah, that's that's pretty much uh my my background.
- 6:21SPEAKER_03: But um, in terms of like the nerd stuff or nerd, what do they call it now?
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: It's not nerd anymore, it's um there's a word.
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: What is it?
- 6:30SPEAKER_03: It's not fandom, fandom, fandom, okay, yeah.
- 6:35SPEAKER_03: Like when you like anything that is not like well, all the nerd stuff is mainstream now, so they had to change the name to fandom.
- 6:43SPEAKER_03: So anything that's like sci-fi, video games, it's all under the umbrella of fandom.
- 6:48SPEAKER_03: I liked it better when it was just you had to you had to admit that what you were, you had to say it.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: Now you get to hide behind all fandom because Game of Thrones, I can make the argument that's what made high fantasy popular popular.
- 7:04SPEAKER_03: I got a little beef with that.
- 7:05SPEAKER_03: For the for the for the the the general public, right?
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: Some people can make the argument that it was Star Wars, but to me, Star Wars wasn't super high fantasy, though.
- 7:14SPEAKER_03: Like, Game of Thrones is it on its face is some nerdy shit, bro.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: It's dragons, it's magic.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's it's you know what I'm saying?
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: So that that like Star Wars was just like swordsmen.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: Like you can you could like you can just turn your brain off and just treat it like any other action movie.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: But I'm getting my I'm getting ahead of myself.
- 7:31SPEAKER_03: So I want to start off with um the Oscars.
- 7:35SPEAKER_03: The Oscars.
- 7:35SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 7:38SPEAKER_03: So the the the easiest thing for us to start with is obviously what what the what do the Oscars mean to you?
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Um, all right, so just for future reference, because we're gonna be obviously talking consistently, I have three levels that I use.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Two-dimensional, three-dimensional, four-dimensional.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, this is this is it.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: We're gonna stay at two-dimensional foot because it's episode one.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: So on a two-dimensional level, the Oscars is a a high level of validation to an actor that takes them from tier one to tier elite.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Sorry, tier five, you know, or call it D-list actor.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: When you get to that A tier, then it's like yo, you get an Oscar, you now command more money, you command more notoriety, you command the first chair, whatever you want to go with.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: Can I stress test this a little bit?
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: Can you be a sub-A-list actor and still be an uh Oscar winner?
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: You can bounce you can be a B-list actor.
- 8:38unknown: Okay.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Or C-list actor.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: And still be on get an Oscar and go back to being in the the Cot you.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: I just want to tell you and be able to be like, yo, well, I got an Oscar on my name.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: So Okay.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: So let's give I'll give you an example.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Um let's say, let's use Michael B.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: Jordan since he won something.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Ooh.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: So controversial off rip.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not saying he's C-list.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: He's definitely A-list, but let's say he did an um independent film.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Now when you say his name, you have to say Oscar Award winning.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Even if you get nominated, Oscar Award nominated.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Like that adds so much more power to your brand, to what you do, to the productions that you're attached to.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Gotcha.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: So the Oscars, in terms of that industry, uh brings uh a lot of caveats and uh benefits, but in terms of validating the actual skill of acting, it's it doesn't really always uh it doesn't always you know match.
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: So is it it's like the Grammys.
- 9:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: Just because you won the best actor of the year does not necessarily make you the best actor the best actor.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Even of that year.
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: Okay, so I'm gonna go through a couple of uh winners.
- 9:46SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 9:47SPEAKER_03: Oh no, before I start, my my my next question for you, and this is just your personal opinion.
- 9:53SPEAKER_03: What is the best award?
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: The best award for an actor?
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: No, just what's the best award?
- 10:00SPEAKER_03: You are attached to a movie.
- 10:02SPEAKER_03: Best actor.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Best actor.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Best actor because even the film was trashed as saying that this guy or this woman's particular performance was the best all year.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: I appreciate that.
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: I appreciate that because I often have these debates where I'm very fond of specific actors.
- 10:22SPEAKER_03: I I I have a bias.
- 10:24SPEAKER_03: I think we all do, I just admit it.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: The actors I like sometimes are not in the best movies, but their individual role crushed it.
- 10:35SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 10:36SPEAKER_03: And then on the reverse, there's this actor that I'm not gonna use his name yet.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: He's in everything.
- 10:42SPEAKER_03: He even gets the leading man roles, and sometimes he began spanked.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: From an actor's perspective.
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to think who you talking.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: You know, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 10:53SPEAKER_03: From an actor's perspective, how would you feel about that?
- 10:58SPEAKER_03: About the which part?
- 10:59SPEAKER_03: Getting spanked or yeah, but you're in everything.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm the guy that I'll get the first call.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, it depends on what your goal is, but for me, particular me specifically.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: I want to know how you feel, D y'all.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: I got at first I I'm okay with just getting my check.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: But as soon as I realized, like, that last film, this person overshadowed me, and I'm the number one person or I'm the star, I'm gonna have a problem.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: I have a competitive nature, so I'm gonna be like, nah, I gotta do, I gotta do better, I gotta bring it, I gotta go in my bag, whatever it is.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: I have to just get better.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: I have to win.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: Okay, let me read this off to you, man.
- 11:32SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 11:32SPEAKER_03: So we got Best Picture.
- 11:34SPEAKER_03: Uh one battle after another won it.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: Um, it was up against a bunch.
- 11:38SPEAKER_03: Sinners was there.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: Um, Marty Supreme was there.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: Uh Frankenstein, uh, F won the movie.
- 11:44SPEAKER_03: Uh Hamnet.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: I don't know what that is, but I haven't seen it.
- 11:48SPEAKER_03: And we should.
- 11:49SPEAKER_03: This is our bag.
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: Episode one.
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: But uh one battle after another won it.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: Did you see it?
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: I saw some of it to be.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, come on.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: I didn't watch the whole thing.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: I'm beyond it.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: It was three hours.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: I couldn't finish it.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: I had other stuff to do.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: But um, I gotta finish it before I can really give a full thorough.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: No, no, you don't.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: This is a podcast.
- 12:07SPEAKER_03: There's no rule.
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: I talk about shit that I never seen all the time.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: If that's the case, then I'm not giving it the nod over um sinners.
- 12:16SPEAKER_03: So you would go with centers this year?
- 12:17SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: Uh out of the list I have here, I think this was a no-brainer.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: I did see one battle after another.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: I did enjoy it.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: I'm a Leo fan.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Um Leo is a kingmaker.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: In terms of what?
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: The films that he's in?
- 12:33SPEAKER_03: The films that he's in.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: The directors, they win.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:37SPEAKER_03: Oh, but himself, he I think he only has one.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: But that's what I mean by, you know, that's it isn't.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: And he's clearly A-list.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: He should have won one from way back when he was.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: From when he was a kid.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, us eating Gilbert greatly.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: I've never seen anyone portray autism or what's the right word for it?
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Not being on the spectrum.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: You had it.
- 12:54SPEAKER_03: You you media trained.
- 12:55SPEAKER_03: Autism is it.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: And you and the spectrum works too?
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: I've never seen anyone portray being retarded.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: He's going for the on the spectrum.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: No, on the spectrum.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: For sure.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Um, but um, no, that his skill is unmatched, in my opinion.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: One of the most you know, skilled guys.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: I think he's um, I think he's the best of his generation.
- 13:15SPEAKER_03: The only competition he has is Denzel Washington, in my opinion.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Different generation.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: I think Denzel's close to what, 60.
- 13:23SPEAKER_03: Okay, all right.
- 13:23SPEAKER_03: Then I'm more comfortable saying he's the best of his generation.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: He's more in a like this.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but if we do an all-time list, my only problem, this is a little tangent.
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: My only problem with putting Denzel over him, which I do some days.
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: I do, I'm not gonna lie.
- 13:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: Is um Denzel's versatility is his weak point.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: It's limited.
- 13:44SPEAKER_03: It's his weak point.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: It's his only weak.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: And I think it's based on what he we'll get into that.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, yeah.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Of course, of course, of course.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: But it's it's limited, and I think we got we got we got nothing but time, brother.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 13:54SPEAKER_03: All right, best actress.
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: Now, can I ask you a question?
- 13:58SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 13:58SPEAKER_03: Can a woman win best actor?
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Well, if we have a category called actress, then why then I think they should get rid of it.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: They should.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: I think it should just be best actor.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: But then it's gonna be this whole, you know, did he win this year because he's a man?
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: And did she win because she's a woman?
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: I always thought that movies were above that.
- 14:18SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 14:19SPEAKER_03: I think the art is above that.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: Based on that Does the Grammys do best album or best woman album?
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: They do best female artists.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: But you want the best album.
- 14:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, well, yeah, no, you're right.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: This is a better competition.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: That's like best movie.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, you're right.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Female-led movie.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: No, I don't like that.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: I agree because the arts in general is very, you know, ambiguous.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we say they should be the first one.
- 14:39SPEAKER_03: They should be the first ones.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but even them.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: They even them.
- 14:44SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 14:45SPEAKER_03: Um the woman that won it is uh Jesse Buckley, and she won it for Hamnet.
- 14:51SPEAKER_03: I have not seen that movie.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Me either, but I heard about her performance.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: Someone said it's the most elite performance you're gonna see in a while.
- 14:56SPEAKER_03: So I'm about to check it out.
- 14:58SPEAKER_03: She beat out Kate Hudson and every and Emma Stone.
- 15:02SPEAKER_03: I didn't know Kate Hudson was acting still.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that Emma Stone was still showing up in these stuff.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: Don't do that.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: She's a good actress.
- 15:12SPEAKER_03: She's great.
- 15:14SPEAKER_03: No, which one is it?
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: What do you mean?
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: You were you you didn't know.
- 15:17SPEAKER_03: I'm surprised she's in that category this year.
- 15:18SPEAKER_03: You said good and then you said great.
- 15:20SPEAKER_03: Which one is it?
- 15:21SPEAKER_03: She's a great actress.
- 15:22SPEAKER_03: Great.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: How are you doing this?
- 15:25SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 15:27SPEAKER_03: She's a great actress.
- 15:28SPEAKER_03: Come on, I know why.
- 15:29SPEAKER_03: I'm comfortable.
- 15:29SPEAKER_03: I mean, no, you were you're actually right.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: I gotta play this game too.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: I forgot.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to do a great actress.
- 15:34SPEAKER_03: She's a great actress.
- 15:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there you go.
- 15:36SPEAKER_03: You see, you mean it trim.
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: Kinda.
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: Now we got the one that matters.
- 15:40SPEAKER_03: Best actor.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: Controversial.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: 100%.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: Let me name the people that was in this category.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: This was a tough category, specifically this year.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: You had Timothy Chalamet.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: Marty Supreme.
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: I did a review of that movie on Gas Money.
- 15:56SPEAKER_03: That movie Fire.
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: The movie was okay.
- 16:00SPEAKER_03: Timmy Timmy's performance A-list.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Sorry to cut you off, but that's what I'm talking about as an actor versus the film.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Oh no, he smoked it.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Because sometimes an actor can make you that film was fire.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: And you look back at it and go, No, the movie was avid.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: He was nice at it.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: No, he was he was great at this.
- 16:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:17SPEAKER_03: And um, you see you see when you say the levels thing?
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: It's levels though.
- 16:21SPEAKER_03: It's episode one.
- 16:23SPEAKER_03: I I have a lot to say.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: All right, uh, then you have Leo.
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: Like I said, Leo, bro.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: One battle after another.
- 16:30SPEAKER_03: Then you got Ethan Hawke in a movie that I did not see.
- 16:33SPEAKER_03: Blue Moon.
- 16:34SPEAKER_03: I haven't seen it either.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: I gotta do my homework.
- 16:37SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: Episode one.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: And then we got Michael B.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: Jordan.
- 16:41SPEAKER_03: Sinners.
- 16:41SPEAKER_03: I've seen it too many times.
- 16:43SPEAKER_03: And then there's Wagner Mo Mora in The Secret Agent.
- 16:48SPEAKER_03: Never even heard of it.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: I'm actually embarrassing myself.
- 16:50SPEAKER_03: I didn't I didn't know that Ethan Hawk was in a in a in a in a hero.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: So I'll you go first then on this.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
- 16:57SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 17:02SPEAKER_03: I think Leo He got the most out of the movie that he could.
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: But one battle after another was it was slop.
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah?
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: As a film?
- 17:20SPEAKER_03: It has some cool visuals.
- 17:22SPEAKER_03: The story, and I'ma sound like a racist.
- 17:25SPEAKER_03: The story, if I know uh PTA, this is like his first ever, he's been a movie guy forever.
- 17:30SPEAKER_03: He's a director forever.
- 17:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:31SPEAKER_03: I I need to know these guys.
- 17:33SPEAKER_03: Uh, but this is his first Oscar.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: The for one battle after another, which Leo got him, by the way.
- 17:39SPEAKER_03: Um, but I don't know who wrote the film.
- 17:43SPEAKER_03: And it was just corny.
- 17:46SPEAKER_03: Like the premise was dope because it was about freedom fighters.
- 17:52SPEAKER_03: It was about the sister, the people that are on the fringes, the people that are like Antifa, like those types.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: It was a movie about them.
- 17:59SPEAKER_03: It was it was a love story for them, like a ballad for them.
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: And Leo carried the movie on his back.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: But the movie just was, it was slop.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Was it three hours worthy?
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: No, it was slop.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: Like it wasn't two hours worthy.
- 18:15SPEAKER_03: That's why they couldn't finish it.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: It was slop.
- 18:17SPEAKER_03: But, and I'm gonna sound like a hypocrite.
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: I liked it.
- 18:21SPEAKER_03: I liked the movie.
- 18:23SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: All right, all right.
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: But it was slop.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: Like, all right.
- 18:27SPEAKER_03: I liked it.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: I I know that feeling.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: So I could not, I I don't think Leo should have won.
- 18:32SPEAKER_03: Um, Marty Supreme, very quick.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: The movie was okay.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: Marty's performance was Oscar worthy.
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: But he was up against a cultural phenomena.
- 18:44SPEAKER_03: The current chosen one.
- 18:45SPEAKER_03: He was hold on now.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: He's the current chosen one, dude.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Remember this levels and layers.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: How deep goes up.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you why he's a chosen one.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, thank you.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: Because there's a lot of yeah, lists.
- 18:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_03: Baba Lau, yeah, I know what's going on.
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: Anyways, um Should we go to the fourth now?
- 18:59SPEAKER_03: No, no, this is absolutely we got you can't scare him off.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: I got you.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I got you.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this is like uh we have underlying.
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: We'll get there.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: I got I got some too.
- 19:10SPEAKER_03: I got some too about a name that I said on this list.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: But, anyways, um Yeah, he just he just ran to a freight train.
- 19:17SPEAKER_03: Uh nothing was gonna be Cinners.
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: I honestly think Sinners should have gotten movie of the year.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: That's how impactful the movie was.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: So they had to walk away.
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: If there's two championship belts, if they couldn't get the heavyweight, they had to get the light heavy, which is the best actor.
- 19:32SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 19:33SPEAKER_03: So they had to get something.
- 19:34SPEAKER_03: They couldn't just get the little they got a couple other ones on the best score cinematography.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: To be honest with you, yeah.
- 19:42SPEAKER_03: To be honest with you, what are those?
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: Like if you if you're a composer, then best score is huge.
- 19:49SPEAKER_03: You can't name me three composers, though.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: And you into Ludwig.
- 19:52SPEAKER_03: Come on, his last name is tough.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: I listen to scores.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying you don't.
- 19:57SPEAKER_03: I I know you do, but you can't name them niggas though.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Like off top.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: I'll look right right now on my spot.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, but you can't.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: One of them is Ludwig Bane.
- 20:06SPEAKER_03: That's the nigga that won for sinners.
- 20:07SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: And then that's a different one.
- 20:09SPEAKER_03: Um we're gonna go down the list.
- 20:11SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure that's the same dude.
- 20:12SPEAKER_03: But I could be wrong.
- 20:13SPEAKER_03: The guy who did um I I feel bad now.
- 20:15SPEAKER_03: That's my point.
- 20:16SPEAKER_03: That's my point.
- 20:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:16SPEAKER_03: No, you don't feel bad.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: But is this is this something that like for me as a kind of a movie buff, yo, the there's nothing like a great score to set the scene.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: He's he's trying to know that.
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: He's trying to little bro me right now.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: I'm not little brony at all.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: He's literally little me, right?
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: I study and write to score in here.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: I I don't know what you be doing, but I study.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna put you on matter facts.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: I appreciate that.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna revisit this and be like, oh wow, yeah.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: No disrespect.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: The guy who did Star Wars.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna keep it.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Right, I can't remember their name.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's that was my only point.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry to those guys.
- 20:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so Michael B.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: Jordan and Sinners got that.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: Best director.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: I kind of buried the lead here.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: Um, we got Ryan Kugler for Sinners.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: We got uh Josh Sadfee for uh Marty Supreme, we got Joaquim, I think, Trier for Sentimental Value, and we got Chloe Zhao for Hamnet.
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: I gotta watch this Hamnet movie.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, me too, because I keep hearing about this later performance.
- 21:12SPEAKER_03: And uh, you know, PCA won.
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: He won.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Uh Paul Thomas Anderson for one battle after another, he won.
- 21:18SPEAKER_03: Um I think that was Kugler's.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: I think that was Kugler's.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Let me see those other movies first and I'll come back to you, but I would have to go with Ryan Kugler right now.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: The only issue, and I know you guys brought it up on Gas Money, was the continuity with the number of people in that final fight scene.
- 21:37SPEAKER_03: You put that on the director?
- 21:39SPEAKER_03: What do you put on the director?
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: That that goes in the director?
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: To me, you're the over you're the every nothing passes the film doesn't come out unless you get the okay.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Gotcha.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: As far as we know.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: But that was such a bad continuity uh mistake that uh not enough bodies.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: You gotta do something about that.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: You gotta explain it.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Just some little blurb that makes this make sense.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Saying that's why you should lose, but yeah.
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: How do you feel about the twergan?
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: The Torgen?
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I see what they were going for.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: That might be why he lost.
- 22:07unknown: Okay.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Because I would uh the only difference I would have made is made it make those characters from different times ethereal.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: So we can see them as different than the people who are actually, you know, oh they were too literal for you?
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: They were too literal.
- 22:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: And with the you know, the narration, it was like uh it does take you out of the film moment to me.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: I see the risk, I extra I respect it as a creative, but it should have been uh executed a little different.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: I think Koogs guessed that.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: Alright, then the rest of them Okay, this is a good one.
- 22:36SPEAKER_03: Best original song, you had um Golden from uh K-Pop Demon Hunters, you had Dear Me from uh Deanne Warren, Relentless, you had Lie Do from Sinners, you got Sweet Dreams of Joy from Vita Verdi and Train Dreams from Train Dreams.
- 22:55SPEAKER_03: Sorry, this is this is the part of the program I'm just like you Sinners?
- 23:01SPEAKER_03: Sinners should have won that too.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: That's the song where he goes, uh where um Sammy's singing, right?
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: I I know I think Demon Hunter won it, right?
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, K-pop Demon Hunters, yeah.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: Golden.
- 23:16SPEAKER_03: How's that golden song go?
- 23:17SPEAKER_03: Sing it for me.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: You know the song.
- 23:19SPEAKER_03: Do I?
- 23:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:20SPEAKER_03: I know it too, but I can't sing it right now.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: Nah, you gotta sing it.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: I really don't remember the words.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: You know it.
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: I don't remember it.
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: Nah, you do know it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: It's it's it's it's hard.
- 23:26SPEAKER_03: Like it's like played everywhere.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: I gotta hear it.
- 23:31SPEAKER_03: I got you.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: Um I'm gonna go with Sammy Singh.
- 23:34SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna skip best international film.
- 23:36SPEAKER_03: Oh, best cinematography.
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: I wanted to ask you about this.
- 23:38SPEAKER_03: Cinematography.
- 23:39SPEAKER_03: What's the difference between best cinematography cinematography and best movie?
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Cinematography is Is it a specific shot?
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: No, it's the totality of shots.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: It's the the big, the wide shot.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: It's like the for instance in uh centers.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: One of my favorite shots is them driving down in the cotton field, and it's like above, and the car like pulls up into the frame.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: It was such an amazing shot.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: You feel like you're there.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Like, yo, I saw it in theaters, by the way, a couple of times.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I feel like I'm in these fields.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: These shots are so meticulously put together, and a lot of money goes into it, the right time of day, and people, you know, a lot of times.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: This is the difference between a Tubi movie and you know, these films.
- 24:24unknown: Okay.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: The planning that goes into it.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: So cinematography is actually the shooting, and there's somebody in charge of that called the director of photography.
- 24:31SPEAKER_03: That's not the director.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: No, that's the director of photography specifically.
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: Gotcha.
- 24:37SPEAKER_03: Sinners won that.
- 24:38SPEAKER_03: They deserved it.
- 24:39SPEAKER_03: They beat Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, one battle after another, and trained dreams.
- 24:42SPEAKER_03: They deserved it.
- 24:43SPEAKER_03: Fire.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Then you got best editing.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Editing, this is the person cutting everything together.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Chopping shit.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but we care about this?
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: As a if you're on the production side, then yes.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Nominated or a win.
- 24:57SPEAKER_03: All right, one battle after another got that.
- 24:59SPEAKER_03: Uh, best sound, best original score.
- 25:03SPEAKER_03: I think that's a big one.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: Ludwig Vin, whatever one that know.
- 25:07SPEAKER_03: It just says centers.
- 25:09SPEAKER_03: Deadass.
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: That nigga's name is not on there.
- 25:12SPEAKER_03: I mean, I think he wants for something else.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: Hold on, I got you.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: Everyone in that community knows him, though.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: Best visual effects.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Visual effects, yeah.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: That's the graphics.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: That's big.
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: Best production design.
- 25:21SPEAKER_03: Best original screenplay.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: What's the difference between best original screenplay?
- 25:27SPEAKER_03: Okay, I think it's in the name.
- 25:29SPEAKER_03: Starting to learn.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Screenplay is the writer.
- 25:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it's like this the best original screenplay is this is an original idea.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: This yeah, it's not like it's not a remake.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: It's not a revision.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: It's not transferred from being a book to a film.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: It's this is me writing this flat out.
- 25:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because uh a lot of stuff is uh the this category is pretty Blue Moon, it was just an accident, Marty Supreme and Sentimental Value.
- 25:55SPEAKER_03: Sinners one, obviously.
- 25:57SPEAKER_03: Then it's best adapted screenplay.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: Adaptation.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: I did an adaptation from uh Stephen King book in um college to a short film that we shot called Last Run on the Lab.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: That's totally different.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: You want it to kind of correlate with the book, but also books don't always turn into films as easily because we have more pages.
- 26:15SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: So that's a gift to be able to do that too.
- 26:17SPEAKER_03: One battle after another one, that one.
- 26:19SPEAKER_03: So it's based on and the most controversial, I would say, outside of the best actor, was the best supporting actor.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: Because everybody thought it was going to my man, Delroy Lindo and Sinners.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: He when he hit that uh, what was it, the beard, Irish beer?
- 26:39SPEAKER_03: That was fire.
- 26:41SPEAKER_03: That was fire.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: I think that he's he's part of the black movie zeitgeist.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: But this was his Magnus opus.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: This was his, not saying that Sinners is not a black movie, Sinners has transcended just being a black movie.
- 26:55SPEAKER_03: It's a movie movie.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: I'm talking about those black movies that only show on BET that white people have never seen before.
- 27:01SPEAKER_03: It's a black movie, though.
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, absolutely.
- 27:03SPEAKER_03: I've learned that.
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, definitely.
- 27:06SPEAKER_03: Uh, but Delroy, this was his moment.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: He was supposed to get this award.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: And when I tell you who got the award, the name is gonna ring bells, obviously.
- 27:16SPEAKER_03: Because it was Sean Penn in one battle after another.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I want you to do me a favor, RGR.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: I want you to go watch one battle after another.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: And then pay attention to Sean Penn's character the whole movie.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: And tell me that that shit was not sloped.
- 27:28SPEAKER_03: He's what made the movie slop.
- 27:30SPEAKER_03: His character was like a it's not his fault though.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: His character was like they took all the worst white.
- 27:42SPEAKER_03: He was a he was just a a hodgepodge of all the manisphere.
- 27:55SPEAKER_03: I hate black people, but I I only sleep with black women.
- 27:58SPEAKER_03: He was a guy who was like, You like black women?
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: I love black.
- 28:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it was just yeah, like, and then he's doing like a you know when your face does an accent?
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't know what your actors call that, but his face was doing an accent.
- 28:12SPEAKER_03: Like a racist accent?
- 28:13SPEAKER_03: No, no, like his whole face, it was not a prosthetic or anything.
- 28:16SPEAKER_03: It was no, it was great acting, but when my man Delroy he hit the Irish beer, I was that moment was very that was real.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: I watched an alcoholic.
- 28:30SPEAKER_03: That was real, yeah.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Like the way he savored, it was crazy.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: That you can't teach that.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: That and this uh little monologue he did about who got uh you know killed and oh and they they took his man parts, then he started doing the humming.
- 28:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like the humming.
- 28:50SPEAKER_03: The he couldn't finish the story without the pain.
- 28:53SPEAKER_03: You know that sensation you get before you bought the cry?
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: I was in the theater with the city.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, good.
- 28:57SPEAKER_03: That was phenomenal.
- 28:59SPEAKER_03: And then I want you to watch Sean Penn's character and compare the two.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: You going to the third dimension on this?
- 29:07SPEAKER_03: So it's the first episode, bro.
- 29:10SPEAKER_03: You can't go that crazy.
- 29:11SPEAKER_03: I gotta watch it.
- 29:12SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna watch it.
- 29:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, watch it first before I watch both, so that's why I feel confident in saying that Sean Penn, he's a name, he's a great actor.
- 29:21SPEAKER_03: He actually uh I think busted on El Chapo.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: In the film?
- 29:27SPEAKER_03: No, in real life.
- 29:30SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, he went out there to interview El Chapo because of him that they got him.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:35SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure that's the story.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: Like I'm 90% is howdy's world.
- 29:40SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
- 29:42SPEAKER_03: It's how why is Sean Penn doing he it's like you know, remember Vice when Vice was doing cool shit?
- 29:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think he tried to do some shit like that and he ended up getting a man jammed up.
- 29:51SPEAKER_03: I'm not going for it, but okay.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: But yeah, so uh Sean Penn wins that.
- 29:55SPEAKER_03: He beats out, in my opinion, uh uh Delroy.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: And I think um The vampire from um first of all, let me tell you something.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: He wasn't even in the category, was he?
- 30:05SPEAKER_03: No, and let me tell you something.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: This might sound controversial, but he was the best actor in the movie to me.
- 30:11SPEAKER_03: Michael B.
- 30:12SPEAKER_03: Jordan to me that's not was his best is what that was his best performance.
- 30:16SPEAKER_03: Because I think Michael B.
- 30:16SPEAKER_03: Jordan is a B-less actor.
- 30:18SPEAKER_03: In terms of talent.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: Talent.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: Talent.
- 30:20SPEAKER_03: He's B.
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: He's he's Will Smith.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: He's better.
- 30:24SPEAKER_03: No, Will Smith's better than him, I'll be honest.
- 30:26SPEAKER_03: I don't even know if that's true.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: But he's Will Smith.
- 30:29SPEAKER_03: He's to me, he's Will Smith is box office.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: I don't know if there's another actor that's more box office than Will Smith.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: Will Smith in terms of the height of his career.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: He's just he's in a movie.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's box office.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: Let's go there real quick.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: I just need y'all to understand something.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: You can be a lead in a film and not the best actor.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: And there's certain things about the film industry, and I hate to say it like this, but it's very, very superficial.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: You can have the look of a lead actor, symmetrical looks, traditionally handsome or beautiful as a lead as a lead female actress.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: And it could be a character who's 5'4, who's playing a character who crushes you on scene on the on the film.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: And just like you're saying, that guy, I forget his name, forgive me.
- 31:12SPEAKER_03: But as that vampire oh, Reminick, uh, I don't remember his actor's name, but the vampire, yeah, that's the vampire.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: Kills his role.
- 31:21SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: He was a star to me.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: He was.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: Every time he was on the screen, like Sam Ed.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: It was it was phenomenal.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: So not to take anything away from Michael B.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: He did his job, he's a lead actor, and I again to your point, his greatest performance because I was able to look at these two different characters, stacking smokes.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, he smoked that.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: This is two different people.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: Can I can I can I go for it?
- 31:47SPEAKER_03: Since it's missing one guy.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: What do you mean?
- 31:53SPEAKER_03: It was Jonathan Majors.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: He was supposed to be one of those brothers.
- 32:01SPEAKER_03: Smoke.
- 32:02SPEAKER_03: Jonathan Majors, to me, is the guy.
- 32:07SPEAKER_03: I think he is the best actor in Hollywood.
- 32:10SPEAKER_03: Actor, period?
- 32:11SPEAKER_03: Period.
- 32:12SPEAKER_03: I think he's number one.
- 32:14SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 32:14SPEAKER_03: Magazine owes it, magazine dreams.
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: I think he is number one.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: He's really tough.
- 32:18SPEAKER_03: I think this dude is too arrogant for his own good.
- 32:22SPEAKER_03: Because that's a story on him.
- 32:23SPEAKER_03: Even before he popped, before he put on a muscle, because he was he's a theater guy, a little geekish, that's what they called him.
- 32:29SPEAKER_03: But he goes to not Juilliard all.
- 32:31SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 32:31SPEAKER_03: You about to educate me.
- 32:33SPEAKER_03: I figure that's a big school.
- 32:34SPEAKER_03: But he's one of them, though.
- 32:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's nice with it though.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: But his whole rap, his whole career is that he's an ass.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: He gets that rap.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: But I also heard that about Timothy Shamelett.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Well, he's exactly.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: But then the one that's really gets the bad rap.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: Listen, the point is a lot of actors are arrogant.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I think there's a reason why he That's a great point.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: He I yo he's naturally quirky, so it transits on the screen.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: This dude, and how I found out about him was a show, uh Lovecraft, and they canceled it.
- 33:07SPEAKER_03: I've yet to watch it.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: But I've yet to watch it, and you know why.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: But I heard they canceled from the reading.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: I get what I'm saying.
- 33:16SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna watch it though.
- 33:16SPEAKER_03: Dog.
- 33:17SPEAKER_03: He gets crazy.
- 33:18SPEAKER_03: Son, this guy, mind you, I didn't know him from nowhere.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: What show what sold me on the show was Journey Smollett's breast.
- 33:27SPEAKER_03: That's what sold me on the show.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: He out acted her?
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: He and this is Journey's, she's been acting since full house.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's she's one of them ones too.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: She's nice.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: He doesn't get enough credit.
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she's not, but it's her brother's fault.
- 33:41SPEAKER_03: But let me tell you, this dude, yeah, you talking about.
- 33:46SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna watch it now.
- 33:49SPEAKER_03: This is gonna be a little bit of gas.
- 33:51SPEAKER_03: Let me hear this.
- 33:52SPEAKER_03: But he reminds me of you.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: Now, there's a lot that can be said about this right now, bro.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: Anyway, continue.
- 34:01SPEAKER_03: He, yo, he, I'm telling you, dog, you gotta watch this guy.
- 34:06SPEAKER_03: And from that moment on, I was like, oh yeah, this is this is the new.
- 34:11SPEAKER_03: It's gonna sound like blasphemy, but this is Denzel and Chadwick Bozeman and one guy.
- 34:19SPEAKER_03: Because Chadwick with Chadwick got over Denzel is the variety.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: You're not wrong.
- 34:27SPEAKER_00: Denzel is a lot of times the same guy in different films.
- 34:29SPEAKER_03: You know what pissed me off about Denzel?
- 34:32SPEAKER_03: He refused to do the accent.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: And um The Gladiator 2.
- 34:37SPEAKER_03: Refused to do the accent.
- 34:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was like That's a weakness to me, bro.
- 34:40SPEAKER_03: Bro, you gotta do that.
- 34:41SPEAKER_03: You gotta do an accent.
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: You break in the scene.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they said he just sounds like a regular nigga.
- 34:46SPEAKER_03: He breaking the scene.
- 34:48SPEAKER_03: But that's how Illy is though.
- 34:49SPEAKER_03: He that's Oscar Winner, he can get in that.
- 34:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:53SPEAKER_03: Film's gonna sell more because of him, but he does it.
- 34:55SPEAKER_03: He does, he's one of the few that does both things.
- 34:57SPEAKER_03: He's an elite actor and he's box office.
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: You normally don't get both.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: It's normally the box office dude's probably not the best actor.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: Because it's Will Smith, not not to hate.
- 35:09SPEAKER_03: I want the toot.
- 35:11SPEAKER_03: And that's why, that's why, that's why Denzel said I'm not doing that.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Wa Wa West.
- 35:16SPEAKER_03: I enjoyed that.
- 35:16SPEAKER_03: I like that movie.
- 35:17SPEAKER_03: That's sloped though.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: Was he that overall the film?
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: I enjoyed it.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: It's sloped, it's slopped.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: But it's it's fine.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: That's yeah, that's 100%.
- 35:25SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, Black Cowboy?
- 35:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that shit is hard.
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: Original Cowboys.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: You shoot, they put it in the movie.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: What movie was it?
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Jonathan Majors, The Harder They Fall.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: Another phenomenal movie.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: He's he bought yo Idris Elbows in that movie.
- 35:42SPEAKER_03: And it didn't matter.
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: It didn't.
- 35:45SPEAKER_03: Jonathan Majors was there.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: Yo, it was a heavyweight bout and Jonathan Majors was there.
- 35:49SPEAKER_03: It didn't matter.
- 35:49SPEAKER_03: It didn't matter.
- 35:50SPEAKER_03: Won that, yeah.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: Jonathan Majors was there.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Um, Delroy's in that.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Another black.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: That film is fire.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: That might be a top 10 film for me.
- 35:59SPEAKER_03: And it's not, it's on Netflix.
- 36:00SPEAKER_03: It born and died there.
- 36:02SPEAKER_03: It's the pandemic.
- 36:03SPEAKER_03: It robbed us of a lot of shit.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: To this day, I still talk I tell people about that film all the time.
- 36:08SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, that's that's one of the ones.
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: Jonathan Majors, I'm telling you.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: Regina King was in there.
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: Lakeith Stanfield.
- 36:13SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 36:14SPEAKER_03: And it didn't matter.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: Listen, Zaza Beats.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: She was actually the worst in that film, in my opinion.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: But you're right, Jonathan Majors as the lead and like yo, phenomenal.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, that's that's that is my he should have been in that film.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: He was, I think he was supposed to be.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: If you replace Michael B.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: Jordan with him in that film.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: What are you saying?
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: What are you implying?
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: The only reason, again, back what I said about symmetrical attractiveness or whatever.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: Like Kat Williams said.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: He was calling him ugly boy.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: Let's be.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: No, but he got brolic.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: He's he's been brolocked.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: Nah, he didn't start off brolic.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: He didn't, but um, he got brolic since uh Lovecraft County.
- 36:57SPEAKER_03: And then he got super jacked because of your boy Michael B.
- 37:00SPEAKER_03: They did the boxing movie, Creed.
- 37:01SPEAKER_03: He was bigger than Michael B.
- 37:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because he is bigger than him.
- 37:04SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 37:04SPEAKER_03: Pause.
- 37:05SPEAKER_03: Pause.
- 37:05SPEAKER_03: That was crazy.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: Double pause.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Point is like, nah, you're right.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: That was a great point.
- 37:13SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, man.
- 37:15SPEAKER_03: No, it worked.
- 37:16SPEAKER_03: One.
- 37:17SPEAKER_03: It worked.
- 37:18SPEAKER_03: You said it.
- 37:19SPEAKER_03: You keep forgetting about him because it worked.
- 37:21SPEAKER_03: You're right.
- 37:21SPEAKER_03: They kicked it.
- 37:22SPEAKER_03: Bro, they erased him.
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: He was going to be the new Thanos.
- 37:26SPEAKER_03: His character, this whole Doctor Doom shit they're doing is uh, oh my god, we gotta fix this.
- 37:32SPEAKER_03: Major's gone.
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: He was going to be the Thanos level threat for this new MCU.
- 37:37SPEAKER_03: Heard they're bringing him back.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: I've been hearing that, but I haven't seen anything.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: I gotta speak, I also gotta uh speak about that real quick is that his performance as um Kang the Conqueror and his other you know alternate um personality, the the difference, the parallel again is why he would kill a he would kill an actor when it was smoking stack, but he went from in one same thing was the Ant-Man film where he was dealing with the uh the girl, the the woman, the wife?
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he was just a corny dude who helped getting out of here.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: And as soon as she caught on who he was, he was like, Yo, I'm Kang.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like I'm the one talking about exactly.
- 38:15SPEAKER_00: His switch up was amazing, and then he got beat by ants.
- 38:18SPEAKER_03: Why'd you let that happen?
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: Uh me?
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's foolish.
- 38:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, why'd you let that happen?
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: I was like, one of the weakest events.
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, spanked him.
- 38:26SPEAKER_03: That's just bad.
- 38:27SPEAKER_03: You see, that's when I knew they was like, oh, they just yeah, they don't know, they don't know what to do with him.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: But um Wow.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: He was also in Loki, yeah.
- 38:34SPEAKER_03: And he had to act next to uh Hiddlison, Thomas Hiddleston, that's his name, yeah.
- 38:38SPEAKER_03: And he did a great job.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: I I don't think he did a great job.
- 38:41SPEAKER_03: You don't think so?
- 38:41SPEAKER_03: I think he spanked him.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: You spanked Hiddleston?
- 38:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 38:44SPEAKER_03: I every time I watch an episode, I go back and watch it.
- 38:49SPEAKER_03: You remember, he's playing Kang in that, but he's not Kang.
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: And he's um he's the the the one before all or whatever it is.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:56SPEAKER_03: And he's playing different versions of this character.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: Like that's the the the variety, the the versatility, the ring.
- 39:03SPEAKER_03: In a 30-minute clip.
- 39:05SPEAKER_03: It's a TV show.
- 39:06SPEAKER_03: So my man does the TV shit.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: He does the the drama, film, the theater, the comedy, what you want.
- 39:14SPEAKER_03: I'm this uh I I guess the kids call this glazing.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no.
- 39:19SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you from years of watching film, when he came on the scene, I was like, this, he just up to Annie a lot.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: That's you, bro.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: Acting.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it, but twin flames.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it, but he's on a different level.
- 39:33SPEAKER_03: I mean that's because he just got the look.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: When you get the look, Cal Williams OD, bro.
- 39:40SPEAKER_03: I mean, I I got I got my opinions on that too.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: But um And also they be using on some, they be using enhancers and cut and um Oh no, they be on that shit.
- 39:47SPEAKER_03: They be on the juice.
- 39:47SPEAKER_03: It's not sports, so they can Yeah, they can do whatever they want as long as they can do it healthily too.
- 39:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, all right.
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: Um, so before we get up off the Oscars, um I think it's pretty obvious.
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: Um, what do we think was the best movie of 2025?
- 39:59SPEAKER_03: To me, it's centers.
- 40:00SPEAKER_03: 100%.
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: Centers.
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: Centers, yeah.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: Then that's why another reason why I was telling someone recently, this is why Michael B.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: Jordan won.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: It's like a bad draft class.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: It's like the competition was bad.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: Not bad, but it just wasn't the best.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: So it's not like, oh, this is gonna be a tough battle.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: No.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: No, we didn't see Hamnet, bro.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: But even then, like, why am I just hearing about this in the now, yeah.
- 40:20SPEAKER_03: Um I was gonna say that.
- 40:23SPEAKER_03: Was this just a weak year?
- 40:24SPEAKER_03: To me, yes.
- 40:25SPEAKER_03: No, no majors.
- 40:26SPEAKER_03: We he did have Leo.
- 40:28SPEAKER_03: Let's not sleep.
- 40:29SPEAKER_03: He did yeah, he did have to go up against Leo in some slop film.
- 40:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it wasn't a real like but he did have to go up against Leo.
- 40:39SPEAKER_03: He did have to go against the chosen one, Timothy Chalamet.
- 40:43SPEAKER_03: That's what it's looking like to me.
- 40:45SPEAKER_03: This is like his fourth nod.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: For best actor.
- 40:49SPEAKER_03: We'll see.
- 40:49SPEAKER_03: He is the chosen one.
- 40:52SPEAKER_03: He beat he beat him.
- 40:55SPEAKER_03: I just think that's been beat him before.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but I think Leo I don't I never looked at Leo as an industry darling.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: It goes back to my original.
- 41:07SPEAKER_00: He was always the bad boy.
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: Coming up, yeah, and he has all the young girlfriends, but they don't like that.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: How many, and this is a question we'll have to come back to probably in another episode, but how many actors or actors have multiple Oscar wins?
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: Okay, because it's not many.
- 41:22SPEAKER_03: Off top, the the niggas too.
- 41:25SPEAKER_03: The Godfather nigga gotta have too, you know?
- 41:26SPEAKER_03: Um Brando?
- 41:28SPEAKER_03: Brandon Brando might have like three.
- 41:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he might have to have a couple of them things.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but it's it's rare.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: They like to spread the wealth.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I respect that.
- 41:37SPEAKER_00: It's not open competition, not like it's one-on-one.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: It's just like, all right, well, this year we're gonna give the nod to so-and-so, right?
- 41:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so-and-so.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: So that has to be you know considered.
- 41:46SPEAKER_03: So would you give or what grade would you give um the Oscars this year?
- 41:51SPEAKER_03: C.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: Plus.
- 41:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 41:53SPEAKER_03: And that's only because um nobody got slide.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: They gave the the film that was supposed to get what it's supposed to get, what it's supposed to get.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 42:01SPEAKER_03: And nobody got slide.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 42:03SPEAKER_03: Alright, so let's let's shift over into um into TV.
- 42:08SPEAKER_03: So I would say the most popping thing on TV this year was a Game of Thrones Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
- 42:16SPEAKER_03: You're not up on this like that yet.
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: And I respect your reasoning, it's probably because you did not like how Game of Thrones.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: You wanna why?
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: Because I was focused on the real show of the year, which is Fallout.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: I I fucked with Fallout.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: It's not even on my list.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: We're gonna talk about it one day.
- 42:34SPEAKER_03: But I'm gonna tell you why it's not on my list.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 42:37SPEAKER_03: It's on Prime Video.
- 42:39unknown: Come on, man.
- 42:40SPEAKER_03: And this is gonna, I'm gonna sound like a hypocrite.
- 42:42SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna do this a lot.
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: And where's uh Game of Gnomes?
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: HBO?
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: HBO, bro.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: Prime makes more sense.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: You gotta buy stuff through Prime.
- 42:48SPEAKER_03: I think Prime Video's system, like it's OS, it's operating system, is the best in the business.
- 42:54SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 42:55SPEAKER_03: It's better than Netflix, it's better than HBO.
- 42:58SPEAKER_03: It has this dope feature where you press one button on your remote and it tells you who the actors are in the scene.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: Dog.
- 43:06SPEAKER_00: Who's talking at the time, who's in that very scene?
- 43:08SPEAKER_03: Who's in this main scene?
- 43:09SPEAKER_03: In the frame.
- 43:10SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 43:10SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 43:11SPEAKER_03: That technology has probably been around forever.
- 43:13SPEAKER_03: But HBO's like, I don't need that.
- 43:14SPEAKER_03: I'm HBO.
- 43:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 43:15SPEAKER_03: Netflix's like, I don't need that.
- 43:16SPEAKER_03: I got the subscriptions, right?
- 43:17SPEAKER_03: HBO tries to give you the film.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: No, I don't need that.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I want to know where do I know this nigga from?
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: Who is this?
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: That's how I started to see.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Like, I didn't even know um, like, for instance, Invincible is probably a topic down the line.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, absolutely.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: When I realized who the voice was, I was like, Oh, the the That's homeboy from um Walking.
- 43:31SPEAKER_03: And then his mom is um from Grays Anatomy.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: I was like, that's crazy.
- 43:35SPEAKER_03: So and then the dad is from um he's uh In Spider-Man, he's Jo Joe Jonah Jane Jonason.
- 43:40SPEAKER_03: That's uh you're serious?
- 43:45SPEAKER_03: I love that, yeah.
- 43:46SPEAKER_03: So yeah, that feature amazing, and nobody else uses it the way that they use it.
- 43:51SPEAKER_03: But yeah, um, I think that's why um I don't I'm gonna go with the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
- 43:56SPEAKER_03: So this I'm gonna paint the show for you, okay, and for those of y'all who haven't watched it.
- 44:01SPEAKER_03: It's Game of Thrones.
- 44:04SPEAKER_03: The access is shifted from royal houses to the layman.
- 44:17SPEAKER_03: You follow a hedge knight, which I didn't know what it was.
- 44:20SPEAKER_03: I don't even yo shout out George R.
- 44:22SPEAKER_03: Martin.
- 44:23SPEAKER_03: I aspire to be this dude.
- 44:24SPEAKER_03: Like writing like him.
- 44:25SPEAKER_03: Yo.
- 44:26SPEAKER_03: Is a hedge knight a real thing or did he make that up?
- 44:28SPEAKER_03: I think it has some cultural.
- 44:30SPEAKER_03: Because a hedge knight is just a knight that sleeps outside.
- 44:34SPEAKER_03: He's not a knight that is from a noble house.
- 44:37SPEAKER_03: A noble house.
- 44:37SPEAKER_03: Honor.
- 44:38SPEAKER_03: So he sleeps in the hedges.
- 44:40SPEAKER_03: Hedge knight.
- 44:41SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna have to look that up.
- 44:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm I'm not I'm gonna just give it to him.
- 44:44SPEAKER_03: Cause even if he didn't invent it, have you heard of anywhere else?
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: Nah, that's fire.
- 44:47SPEAKER_03: A hedge knight.
- 44:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:48SPEAKER_03: So the main character is Dunk.
- 44:50SPEAKER_03: He's a giant kid.
- 44:52SPEAKER_03: He's like and in the books, they're always younger.
- 44:55SPEAKER_03: So in the show, he's in the books, he's probably like 17, 18 when we run into him.
- 44:59SPEAKER_03: In the show, he's probably like 23.
- 45:01SPEAKER_03: But he's like a huge.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: Like he's like, you know, the farm people, they be like 4'8.
- 45:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:06SPEAKER_03: He's like, he's like 6'11.
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 45:08SPEAKER_03: He's naturally Yeah, he's a big, he's dunked the lunk.
- 45:12SPEAKER_03: He's a big dude.
- 45:13SPEAKER_03: So we follow him, or he's broke.
- 45:15SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 45:15SPEAKER_03: The hit the his because you become you only a knight can make a knight.
- 45:19SPEAKER_03: So the knight that he was running around with, uh, his name is Pennytree.
- 45:22SPEAKER_03: That's a name we never heard of in Game of Thrones.
- 45:24SPEAKER_03: Penny tree.
- 45:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: He's a he's a he's another, he's a hedge knight himself.
- 45:28SPEAKER_03: And they they pretty much broke losers.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: The show starts off with his his the penny tree dude dying and leaving him all his shit.
- 45:39SPEAKER_03: Because the penny treating guy didn't sire any kids.
- 45:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:42SPEAKER_03: So and he's like, I'm I just want to be a knight.
- 45:46SPEAKER_03: So he makes this comic.
- 45:47SPEAKER_03: And it's hijinks.
- 45:49SPEAKER_03: It's hijinks.
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: The stuff he just does.
- 45:51SPEAKER_03: Like Yeah.
- 45:52SPEAKER_03: He's he goes to a tournament.
- 45:53SPEAKER_03: And but yeah.
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: Is the tone more comedic?
- 45:57SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 45:57SPEAKER_03: Until it until it's not.
- 45:59SPEAKER_03: Until it's not.
- 46:00SPEAKER_03: It becomes Game of Thrones very fast.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: Alright, cool.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: That's what I need.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: Then I'll watch it.
- 46:04SPEAKER_03: Which I'm gonna watch.
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: The time period that we're in is the Targaryen is still running shit.
- 46:09SPEAKER_03: But this is when they got no more dragons, and the the the the the the two houses have already fought.
- 46:16SPEAKER_03: It's after House of the Dragons.
- 46:18SPEAKER_03: After House of the Dragons.
- 46:19SPEAKER_03: But before Game of Thrones.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: So the dragons, if anything, are little small ones.
- 46:22SPEAKER_03: No, they're gone.
- 46:23SPEAKER_03: Okay, so they have none.
- 46:24SPEAKER_03: They have none.
- 46:26SPEAKER_03: And the Targaryens are kind of losing their footing, their political power, because it's like the townspeople are kind of openly saying, like, why do these niggas run us?
- 46:36SPEAKER_03: They got no dragons no more.
- 46:38SPEAKER_03: They're not from here.
- 46:39SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 46:39SPEAKER_03: So that's like is so and then you run into some Targaryens because, and this is gonna be a little spoiler, spoiler alert.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: You could I mean that shit's been out for a minute.
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:48SPEAKER_03: Dunk doesn't have a squire.
- 46:49SPEAKER_03: Because remember, he was just a squire.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:51SPEAKER_03: He runs into some bald kid at an inn.
- 46:54SPEAKER_03: The bald kid, there's a reason he's bald.
- 46:57SPEAKER_03: Is because he don't like his hair.
- 46:59SPEAKER_03: Because he's a Targaryen.
- 47:01SPEAKER_03: But Dunk is a little slow.
- 47:02SPEAKER_03: So Dunk is now asking himself, why the fuck is this bald kid?
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: Why is he bald?
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:06SPEAKER_03: And why is he no?
- 47:08SPEAKER_03: Because remember, to be a knight, you gotta have money.
- 47:09SPEAKER_03: Like these kids, remember when we saw um the the in Winterfell, how all the the boys were like raped.
- 47:15SPEAKER_03: It's the rich niggas that become knights.
- 47:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:17SPEAKER_03: Broke niggas don't become knights because it takes money.
- 47:19SPEAKER_03: So it's been a week.
- 47:20SPEAKER_03: He's he's he's a Targaryen, uh, the little squire boy.
- 47:23SPEAKER_03: His name is his nickname is Egg.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: Egg on.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:26SPEAKER_03: He has an egghead.
- 47:28SPEAKER_03: Egg on.
- 47:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it's Dunk and Egg.
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: Those are the two characters, main characters.
- 47:32SPEAKER_03: So Egg, he knows all the knight shit because he was raised like this.
- 47:36SPEAKER_03: He's a rich kid.
- 47:37SPEAKER_03: And then Dunk, he kind of knows it because he was running around with a knight, but the night he was running around with was a drunken.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: So, and it's hijinks, but it becomes Game of Thrones very fast.
- 47:49SPEAKER_03: How many episodes so far?
- 47:51SPEAKER_03: I think it was eight.
- 47:52SPEAKER_03: It's one season?
- 47:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, one season's done.
- 47:54SPEAKER_03: I got you.
- 47:54SPEAKER_03: I want you to review when you come back.
- 47:56SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 47:57SPEAKER_03: And then um, did you watch uh House of Dragons?
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, I did.
- 48:01SPEAKER_03: Season one was to me phenomenal.
- 48:03SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 48:04SPEAKER_03: Season two was How'd you feel about season two?
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: Season two, they dragged it.
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: There were episodes where it was nothing but just foolishness and talking.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: However, the acting um by um I forget her name too, the young lady who plays um Rhera Rhenira.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: There was a scene where she was just talking her and um and um the Pops or the the the other girl.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: I gotta remember his name, it's a gangster name.
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: The the uncle, her uncle was her husband.
- 48:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, Damon?
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: Damon.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's my face.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: When she was younger, I can't trust you, Damon.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: Like her acting blew me away.
- 48:37SPEAKER_00: But um, they dragged it.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: He this guy was hallucinating at the can't the castle for the for the longest.
- 48:43SPEAKER_00: Um a lot of just foolish decisions, and I see where they're going with it.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: And if you know anything about the lore, then you know where it's gonna end up.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: I stay away.
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: But they also you should because you're gonna it gets really good.
- 48:53SPEAKER_03: But I heard if you rewatch Game of Thrones, it's supposed to House of Dragons.
- 48:57SPEAKER_03: Because Joffrey, he says the whole thing.
- 48:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 49:00SPEAKER_03: I I can't even rewatch Game of Thrones right now.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: So I already know what's gonna happen, but still it's just I don't like what they do, and this is a little bit on the third dimension, but the point is that they they kind of just destroyed Damon's character in season two, which I hated.
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: They like they cut his, they took his fangs from him.
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, he's my favorite character.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's uh the dra from the dragon to the things he does, like he makes a great not he's not a villain yet.
- 49:23SPEAKER_00: Anti-hero.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, anti-hero.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Like he's he might wild out and just go attack someone's castle.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: Because we in war.
- 49:28SPEAKER_00: This is what we're supposed to be doing.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: Why we sitting around?
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 49:31SPEAKER_03: I called season two bad porn.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: No fin, no finish.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: No finish, yeah.
- 49:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it was all buildup.
- 49:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can see it.
- 49:38SPEAKER_00: It was all foreplay.
- 49:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for nothing.
- 49:40SPEAKER_00: There was like the one the best scene again was uh uh why am I forgetting one's name?
- 49:46SPEAKER_00: But the aunt who fought against um Oh, with Male's Maile's fight was amazing.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: She looked back, yeah.
- 49:52SPEAKER_03: They both knew it was up.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: Even the way she fell was like, yo, I'm out of here.
- 49:56SPEAKER_03: Vagar.
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: That over there.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: I hate Vagar.
- 50:00SPEAKER_00: I'm funny.
- 50:00SPEAKER_00: I really hate Vagar.
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: But I do like the way it ended with Vagar when they was running over there and slow down.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: They punked Vagar.
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, they definitely punked.
- 50:11SPEAKER_03: But Vagar was kind of with it though.
- 50:13SPEAKER_03: They punked it, they punked Eamon.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Vagar was with it.
- 50:16SPEAKER_03: Vagar wanted to die.
- 50:18SPEAKER_03: Vagar was like, I'm old.
- 50:19SPEAKER_03: You see her wings?
- 50:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like let's let's get to it.
- 50:22SPEAKER_03: And Eamon was like, oh, Vagar, no, turn this around, baby.
- 50:28SPEAKER_03: I'm out of it.
- 50:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's uh that's a good show.
- 50:30SPEAKER_03: It is a lot of pain.
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: It's carried by the acting, like you like you alluded to.
- 50:34SPEAKER_03: And the dragons.
- 50:35SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: It's the technology.
- 50:37SPEAKER_03: Like, I feel like if game.
- 50:39SPEAKER_03: Can I ask you a question?
- 50:40SPEAKER_03: What's up?
- 50:41SPEAKER_03: Are you familiar with the Harry Potter remakes?
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: They're about to remake Harry Potter.
- 50:45SPEAKER_03: The whole thing?
- 50:45SPEAKER_03: Whole thing.
- 50:46SPEAKER_03: New cast, new everything.
- 50:48SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 50:48SPEAKER_03: Would you be open to that for Game of Thrones in five years?
- 50:54SPEAKER_00: Five years is a little too soon.
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: Ten years.
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: Still a little too soon.
- 50:57SPEAKER_03: Nah, come on, son.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: What are we remaking it for?
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: Bro, Iran is about to end this whole thing.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: We don't got it.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: Because they're gonna remake it and change things.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: That's my problem.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: It's never gonna be like technology is gonna be.
- 51:05SPEAKER_03: Okay, what if it's more because this is what they're saying about the new Harry Potter?
- 51:08SPEAKER_03: Actually, they're wrong about that.
- 51:10SPEAKER_03: Nah, because they was jacking that this Harry Potter is gonna be more book, but they already messed up because Snape is black.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: And again, I never want to see black.
- 51:19SPEAKER_03: I cannot get a role, but Snape is black now.
- 51:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think he's black.
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: What are we doing?
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 51:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, come on.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: So no.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: I want to see remake.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: Keep it as is.
- 51:31SPEAKER_03: They're gonna make um Tiana Taylor Dumbledore.
- 51:34SPEAKER_03: I know what she know what she's gonna do about that.
- 51:36SPEAKER_00: She's gonna come out with a Harlem accent.
- 51:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 51:41SPEAKER_00: Do it.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: I want to see.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: I wanna laugh.
- 51:43SPEAKER_03: I want the only reason I'd want to um Game of Thrones remake is the tech.
- 51:48SPEAKER_03: I thought they did decent, man.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: But we do you see the dragons now?
- 51:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I still think that Drogon still dance a lot.
- 52:00SPEAKER_03: But if you yeah, but like you only see you mostly see him either super close up or kind of like far away.
- 52:05SPEAKER_03: Or swooping in and I want to see John touched his face and everything.
- 52:09SPEAKER_03: Super close up.
- 52:10SPEAKER_03: So what are we looking for?
- 52:11SPEAKER_03: A medium shot?
- 52:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I wanna like uh some of those Vagar shots.
- 52:16SPEAKER_03: We yo the Vagar when Aamon hit Vagar in like the brush, and then you see her get up and it looked like a piece of the land was leaving.
- 52:24SPEAKER_03: That was massive.
- 52:25SPEAKER_03: That was yeah.
- 52:25SPEAKER_03: I I want to see that in Game of Thrones.
- 52:27SPEAKER_03: I mean like I want more, I want more of the battles because a lot of the battles in Game of Thrones were like, yeah, we uh They shot it a certain way.
- 52:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and then it's like it happened off screen.
- 52:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 52:38SPEAKER_03: I want to I want to see Rob kicking ass, and this is my favorite character.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: But you see the thing, the strength of Game of Thrones was the writing, the dialogue, the acting, the stuff that lends to the book.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: Obviously, they didn't have the technology for certain things, but the just on its face, it's still probably the highest quality of TV content that we've had in a long time, if at all.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: The banter between characters like um Peter Dinklage's character and um the master of whispers and I forget his name.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: Vagarfinger Littlefinger, the three of them dynamic was amazing.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you saw French.
- 53:12SPEAKER_00: They were like frenemies, yeah, frenemies, and you see how it falls off.
- 53:15SPEAKER_03: Playing chess with real people.
- 53:16SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: It's the books.
- 53:18SPEAKER_03: So how about this?
- 53:18SPEAKER_03: George finishes the books.
- 53:20SPEAKER_03: You know he did the bait and switch, right?
- 53:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know the actual ending that we got was what he planned.
- 53:25SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 53:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 53:26SPEAKER_03: And when he seen the reception to it, he was like, nah, I gotta change it.
- 53:28SPEAKER_03: Nah, I wasn't gonna do that.
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, good.
- 53:30SPEAKER_00: That was horrible.
- 53:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think if he finishes the books, we should get a remake of the whole thing.
- 53:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 53:36SPEAKER_00: If that's the case, yeah, but it has those first seasons, they're gonna have to change because you already know what's gonna happen.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: So that's whack.
- 53:43SPEAKER_03: No.
- 53:43SPEAKER_03: That's whack.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be a whole new generation.
- 53:45SPEAKER_03: I didn't watch it.
- 53:47SPEAKER_03: I think I think I think it's time.
- 53:48SPEAKER_03: I think it's time.
- 53:49SPEAKER_03: Shout out Game of Thrones.
- 53:50SPEAKER_03: Uh, what do you expect in uh season three of uh uh uh Hot D?
- 53:55SPEAKER_03: House of Dragons.
- 53:56SPEAKER_03: That's that's the acronym.
- 53:57SPEAKER_03: House of the Dragon, H-O-T-D.
- 54:00SPEAKER_03: I see what these guys are doing.
- 54:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you paying attention.
- 54:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, uh anyway.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: Uh what I'm expecting, um, I'm we're gonna see uh we're gonna start to see some consequences be laid out.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: Um somebody has to die.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: Um we're going to see I think this is gonna be the final season, so there's gonna be a clash between Eamon and uh Damon, which we've all been waiting for.
- 54:22SPEAKER_00: You know how that ends?
- 54:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: Don't tell him.
- 54:25SPEAKER_03: Don't even look at me.
- 54:26SPEAKER_03: I don't even want to look at you, bro.
- 54:27SPEAKER_00: I know how that ends.
- 54:27SPEAKER_03: No, don't don't look for you, please.
- 54:29SPEAKER_03: Continue talking about it, please.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: We're gonna see the introduction of um Aemond and is it Aegon?
- 54:37SPEAKER_03: Is his older brother we Oh the one that he charred up?
- 54:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's Aegon.
- 54:40SPEAKER_00: They're they're their brother and his dragon to Sarian.
- 54:42SPEAKER_03: Oh, a Darion?
- 54:44SPEAKER_03: Something like that?
- 54:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Darion?
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and their his dragon to Syrian is gonna show up.
- 54:48SPEAKER_00: Um and that's supposed to kind of balance things out, but not really.
- 54:51SPEAKER_00: Not really.
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: You're gonna see a lot of betrayal.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: I think um even more betrayal?
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: On the on the black side.
- 54:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, brother.
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: I I think so.
- 55:00SPEAKER_00: Okay, alright.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: So you're speculating.
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: They yeah, they took a big risk by you know bringing in them bastards.
- 55:06SPEAKER_00: Mmm.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: I forgot it.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, them niggas is definitely gonna do some stupid shit.
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: And when you got somebody who comes from nothing.
- 55:11SPEAKER_03: Nothing, and you give them a drive, you put their ego on on um the spot and uh give a nigga that never had a car or Lamborghini with spinners on it.
- 55:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, now he wanna that's bad.
- 55:23SPEAKER_03: He forgot how he got it.
- 55:24SPEAKER_00: We call it the Rico syndrome.
- 55:25SPEAKER_00: Oh guy came out of prison now.
- 55:28SPEAKER_00: You got four you got 14 birds right there?
- 55:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I need a so um yeah, you got so who's it?
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: The guy the guy who's riding Silverwing, you got the bronze fury dude, and um Adam, I think his name is.
- 55:40SPEAKER_00: He's uh the bastard son of the uh of the the sea serpent.
- 55:46SPEAKER_00: I think that's his name.
- 55:47SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: Um I think he's dedicated.
- 55:49SPEAKER_00: I think he's down for the he's for.
- 55:51SPEAKER_00: I forgot about him.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you gotta he was the first one to get it.
- 55:54SPEAKER_00: The dragon came and chose him.
- 55:56SPEAKER_00: That dragon said, I like cocoa butter.
- 56:00SPEAKER_00: Chose that dude.
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: But yeah, we gotta see how their character's gonna be put on display.
- 56:04SPEAKER_00: So we'll see.
- 56:04SPEAKER_00: But um, my expectations is betrayal, they're gonna heighten the drama, and they're gonna have to make up for season two because they got bad reviews, just like there were episodes.
- 56:11SPEAKER_00: Again, these are hour-long episodes for the most part.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: But they just dragged it.
- 56:14SPEAKER_03: I'm like, sorry to cut you off.
- 56:16SPEAKER_03: Another thing that um the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms did, episodes are like 35 minutes, 40-minute clip.
- 56:22SPEAKER_03: Good.
- 56:23SPEAKER_03: Very quick.
- 56:24SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 56:24unknown: Good.
- 56:25SPEAKER_03: Check it out, bro.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm definitely gonna watch it because an hour long for nothing is just yeah.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: That's tough.
- 56:30SPEAKER_03: That's tough.
- 56:32SPEAKER_03: All right, um, let's keep it uh TV for now.
- 56:36SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 56:37SPEAKER_03: Do you want to talk about um uh Fallout a little bit?
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: Uh you have you seen all of it?
- 56:42SPEAKER_00: Yes, bro.
- 56:43SPEAKER_00: I watched everything.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: We can have to save that because there's a lot, I have a lot to say about it.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: Okay, cool.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: So you want to have a whole Fallout segment?
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: That's definitely on sub third dimension type stuff.
- 56:50SPEAKER_03: Okay, so let's talk about Invincible.
- 56:52SPEAKER_03: Let's get into the animation work.
- 56:53SPEAKER_03: Invincible.
- 56:54SPEAKER_03: Invincible returns.
- 56:56SPEAKER_03: So this is the fourth season, I believe, of Invincible.
- 57:00SPEAKER_03: Uh they just dropped a three-pack, so they've released three episodes.
- 57:03SPEAKER_03: I watched all three already.
- 57:05SPEAKER_03: Um, this this is this is gonna be one of them ones.
- 57:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah?
- 57:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:10SPEAKER_00: I like the I seen the fight scene with um Nolan and his parents.
- 57:14SPEAKER_03: That was sick.
- 57:15SPEAKER_03: I yo, you know what's crazy about it?
- 57:16SPEAKER_03: You don't realize who the characters are for the longest.
- 57:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:19SPEAKER_03: You're like, why are this nigga like Mark?
- 57:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:21SPEAKER_03: You don't, you're just like, okay.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: I knew Instagram.
- 57:23SPEAKER_00: I was like, I didn't know.
- 57:25SPEAKER_00: All everyone who is related to Nolan, his two sons look like him, just different colors.
- 57:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:30SPEAKER_00: Or different, like, little, they put that little jetpack in there.
- 57:33SPEAKER_03: But when I seen that dude slap his wife away, like, I was like the crazy part is though, the pops spared him.
- 57:40SPEAKER_03: So mom wanted to kill him.
- 57:42SPEAKER_03: I saw, yeah.
- 57:43SPEAKER_03: And he was like, yo, chill.
- 57:44SPEAKER_03: She was just like, oh, I can't.
- 57:45SPEAKER_03: I never want to see y'all niggas again.
- 57:46SPEAKER_03: After he slapped her.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: I want I want more lore on the Viltramites.
- 57:52SPEAKER_03: I want to know more about them.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: They are the Spartans, well, the proverbial Spartans of the universe.
- 57:58SPEAKER_00: They just want the best.
- 57:59SPEAKER_00: It's all about strong bloodlines, from what I'm seeing and what I give you.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: Like, is there a bloodline?
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: Like he's a king or some royal?
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: How does the mating go?
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: How do you select?
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: It's the strongest.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: But what I learned because people were trying to figure out why Nolan's so big and why um the dude with the one eye who came, I forgot his name, Conquest.
- 58:23SPEAKER_00: No, Conquest, yeah.
- 58:24SPEAKER_00: And apparently, and because remember, um, Mark is stronger than him, but they don't grow size based off how much muscle is how much stuff they lift, they grow off of age.
- 58:33SPEAKER_00: Uh huh.
- 58:33SPEAKER_00: They get bigger as they get older.
- 58:35SPEAKER_00: So it doesn't matter how strong you are and how you look, you can still be stronger than that one.
- 58:39SPEAKER_00: He's just bigger than you because he's older.
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: That's kind of like as guardians.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: Thor gets stronger the older he gets.
- 58:44SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 58:45SPEAKER_00: But they don't get stronger necessarily by age, it's about you.
- 58:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, just what you got.
- 58:50SPEAKER_00: And apparently, Invincible's character, Mark, is exceptionally strong.
- 58:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, so he has some Gohan shit.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: It's on some Dragon Ball Z drum where you're half blood, so now you're stronger.
- 58:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, which is the same thing with his little brother, too.
- 58:59SPEAKER_00: Like, he's just remarkably strong.
- 59:00SPEAKER_00: So I fuck with the little brother.
- 59:02SPEAKER_00: I didn't at first, but this season he grew on me.
- 59:05SPEAKER_00: He grew up, he's growing up a little bit.
- 59:06SPEAKER_00: So now he's a little more like, I just want to play a video game.
- 59:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 59:08SPEAKER_00: He's but I have a feeling he's gonna get a little more dark down the line, you know.
- 59:12SPEAKER_03: I mean, he had it in him.
- 59:13SPEAKER_03: Like he started that way.
- 59:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 59:14SPEAKER_03: So I should just kill him.
- 59:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 59:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 59:17SPEAKER_03: So I saw a lot of uh similarities.
- 59:20SPEAKER_03: They say that Mark's blue suit, like that, that um, I guess he's gonna go back to his other.
- 59:25SPEAKER_03: I I haven't dug too much into it, but apparently the blue suit saga is uh similar to Spider-Man and the symbiote suit.
- 59:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I keep hearing this whole comparison between him and Spider-Man.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: You don't see it?
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: Depressed teenager.
- 59:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 59:39SPEAKER_00: You don't see it?
- 59:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, you know, I can see him being more like like the Tommy.
- 59:46SPEAKER_00: Don't do it.
- 59:47SPEAKER_03: Don't start this, bro.
- 59:48SPEAKER_03: I need a whole episode dedicated to.
- 59:52SPEAKER_00: Who wins that fight?
- 59:53unknown: Who?
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: Spider-Man or Invincible?
- 59:55SPEAKER_00: Come on, like Invincible.
- 59:56SPEAKER_00: Like, this is I don't think so.
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: Which Spider-Man?
- 59:59SPEAKER_00: Because I thought you were talking about Tom Holland, because if that's the case, I know Invincible got it.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_00: It's Toby McGuire.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_00: He might catch this guy slacking.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna hold you.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_03: Uh Invincible gets his ass kicked by everybody.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_03: That's my only knock.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: But they got him on the Dragon Ball's E tip, but he just comes back stronger.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_00: The way he heals too.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_00: I've seen his teeth all over and he just I'm back.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: It's sad.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_03: How many fights does this guy really want, honestly?
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_00: Invincible?
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_00: 1.2, maybe.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I think I think Spider-Man like whoops him.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_00: It depends on if Spider-Man is angry enough.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_00: So we when Spider-Man's mad, it's just it's one of the darkest creatures.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no holding back.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's not good.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_03: I think I think Mark loses, honestly.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_03: Not that he should lose that fight.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_03: He should win that fight.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_03: But I think he loses.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_03: He technically lost the conquest when you think about it.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_03: Yes, he lost the conquest.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_00: If Eve didn't get smoked.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_03: And then what's going on with her powers this season?
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_00: She is this is ideal for Mark.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_00: Because she got a whole new body.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_00: So all her old bodies are gone.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_00: See what she did there.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_00: That's what happened.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_00: That's the first thing I thought of.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_03: I was like, so I just thought about that.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_03: That's the first thing you thought of?
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_00: I was like, she had a whole new, she we created herself.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_00: She reversed.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_00: She should be stronger too.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_00: Her power's OP.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_00: Her power is OP.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_00: It's ridiculous.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_00: I heard she becomes a pog.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: I heard she puts on some weight.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_00: Well, you saw her in the future, right?
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_03: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_00: What was it?
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_00: Too much weight.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_00: She went crazy.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_00: And maybe it's the combination of cutting her hair, too.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_00: Don't do this.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_03: That's where I heard happens.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_00: It is what it is.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I can't, I can't wait, man.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_03: This season, the three episodes that dropped, has been fire.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_03: I can't wait to see how uh this whole thing plays out, man.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_00: Is this the final season or they have plans for?
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_03: No, I think there's more there's more.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_03: There's at least one more, I'm pretty sure.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_03: That's how it goes, you know.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_03: I don't see this ending well for anybody.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_03: Like any of the characters?
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_00: It's pretty it's a pretty dark show.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they people die.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_00: My son, Rex.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_00: I didn't think I was gonna, like yo, that was my guy.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_00: And I the more time went on, I was like, Rex.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_00: I knew he was gonna die.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: All he had was little.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_00: He went out like a G though.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_00: He didn't.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_03: He didn't.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_03: He blew up his whole skeleton.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_03: Gangster.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_03: That's how you go out.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_03: He took out a Viltermite.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_03: There's not a lot of niggas that can say that.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_03: True.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_03: He killed a Vilchamite.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_03: He went through most of the team too.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_03: Kill a Vilchamite.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_03: Um, one thing I don't like about Invincible, and we're gonna get into it this when we get into a little anime talk.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_02: I don't like the trope of small girl and regular age person dating.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_03: I don't like it.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_03: So they they kind of cleaned it up in Invincible.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_03: Monster Girl.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_03: Monster Girl.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they kind of cleaned it up in Invincible because at least the dude that she's dating is technically not nine or eleven or twelve.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_03: But the her appearance is that.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_03: And technically the dude she's dating physical is the same thing.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_03: He's kind of young too, because he's like been read, like he came from a vat.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_03: He's Rex, he's literally Rex.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's a clone.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_03: Um, so they kind of cleaned it up.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_03: But in anime, there's a lot of that, man.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_03: There's a lot of little girls.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to think of one that I know of.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_03: There's a lot.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_00: There is a lot.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_03: Have you seen this anime called Seven Deadly Sins?
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_00: I was going to who that's the nastiest one.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: There's one where she's like a really little girl and like a almost like a fairy.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_00: Which one is that?
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_00: What character is that?
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_03: Um, that's Bond.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_03: And there's Escanor and uh Shorty.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_03: She's she's a little girl too.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_03: She just put she just presents as an adult.
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she's actually a little girl.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_03: Her her father.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_00: Like a goddess or something.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, her father was like the first person to escape hell or something like that.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: Like when they say his name, they always like blurt it.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_03: For some reason.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she's actually a little girl too.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_03: But she just presents like an adult.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_03: Some things are cultural, man.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_03: I don't like it.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_03: But um I'm not corroborating it.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_03: Cultural stuff.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_03: I think it's a good uh segue into anime, though.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_03: So we got two decently uh big anime uh topics.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_03: We got jujitsu kaizen.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_03: You know, I have something to say about modern anime.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_03: Listen, Dragon Ball Z, I know you're a Naruto guy.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_03: Dragon Ball Z is my GOAT.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_03: That is the greatest of all time.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_03: Dragon Ball Z also is slop.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna be honest.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_03: Why is that?
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_03: Let me break it down.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_03: I thought you were the Dragon Ball guy.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_03: I am a Dragon Ball guy.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_03: From the Goku's defense?
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_03: I am a Dragon Ball guy.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_03: You know why my problem with Dragon Ball, but go ahead.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_03: No, you that's probably the reason why I'm calling it slop.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_03: Uh Dragon Ball Z's uh power scaling character development, everything you can say that's negative about any show, Dragon Ball Z got it.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_03: But to me, it's still the standard.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_03: It has inspired a generation and a generation of generation.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_03: So you cannot shit.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_03: It's like you can't shit on the first car.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_03: It was the first car.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_00: Nah, you can't.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_00: There's no other cars without this.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's the first car.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_03: So that's why Dragon Ball Z is always gonna be the GOAT to me.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_03: Um, I think Naruto has bested Dragon Ball Z in a lot of things, but what ruined Naruto for me, it became a gay love story.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they took it too far with that.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_03: It should have the tuning exam.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think that they they sidelined too many characters with Dragon Ball Z had the same problem.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_03: Um it just became the Naruto Sasuke show.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_03: And then they didn't know how to end it.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_03: And they followed Aliens Baruto, and that was just like, yo.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_03: Oh, they barato kind of it's kind of gas.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna act like I didn't hear it.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_03: It's kind of they they nerfed it, they had to nerf the nerf the entire generation.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_00: They had to, though.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_00: All you remember, do you remember that Choji almost died with those pills to turn skinny?
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_00: His daughter is doing it at will.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_00: Just biggest.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_03: That's that's like that's like when when Michael Jordan did the switch to hand layer, not everybody knows that they can do the switch to handler.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_00: Still thinks that Jordan does that.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, come on.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_00: Let's I'm not even gonna get into that one.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_00: Naruto, yo, son, they took they killed Karama.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_00: They had to.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_00: Sasuke got a knife to the eye.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they got to get rid of that Renningon.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_03: It's the ease that made it whack.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_03: I like how they got rid of Karama, though.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_03: They gave Naruto this mode that was straight back.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_00: That was a good way.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_00: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_00: Like, yo.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_00: Where's Krama now inside of there's a piece of him inside of uh so is what I heard.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be back.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_00: I think they I don't think Tilton dies.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_00: He's just reincarnate.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_00: The problem is that if he died, Naruto was supposed to die.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_00: Supposed to die.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_00: But he did it.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, the Renegan, they had to get rid of that.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_03: Too strong.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_00: It was too strong.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_00: It was a plot armor.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_03: Um it's like and yeah.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_03: So I think I think Bartol has a chance if they lean into the sci-fi thing, because Naruto has gone from ninjas into aliens, if you're paying attention.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_03: Now dude's got robot arms.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_03: No, but they gotta lean into it.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_03: This ain't even ninjas though.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, then let's leave the ninja shit alone.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_03: Let's just call it what it is.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_03: This is this is sci-fi now.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_03: It's Dragon Ball Z.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_03: But we're gonna do it better because they can do it better.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_03: We can see.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_03: But they gotta lean into it.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_03: Because it's the same thing happened to Dragon Ball Z.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_03: It was martial arts.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_03: Goku was just hands out.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_03: I can just blow the planet up.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_03: Let's just blow the planet up.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_00: What are we playing for?
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_00: You die, huh?
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we'll show you right back.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's blow the planet up.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_00: Matter of fact, didn't Boo go to where all the dead people were?
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_00: This is crazy.
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_00: Alright, see, I see why you're right.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, Dragon Ball Z is some I it's slot, but I love it.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_03: It's progressively became slot.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, of course, but that's because it didn't have who was this competition?
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_03: Boo?
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_03: No, I'm just saying Dragon Ball Z.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_03: Like who did the did they have yo once?
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_03: Once you see shit, and that was cool, but it wasn't Dragon Ball.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_03: It wasn't the same now.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_03: Once you see shit like Attack on Titan, you have to step your pen up.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_03: Because now it's like, what's happening?
- 1:07:29unknown: Attack on Titan.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_03: And that's when I get to jujitsu Kaisen.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_03: I'm a I'm gonna go off the ledge.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_03: I think jujitsu kaizen is this generation's Dragon Ball Z.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_00: In terms of it becoming slop?
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_03: In terms of if Dragon Ball Z had to come up with attack.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_03: Now you're wilder.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not wilder.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_00: Based off these episodes I've been watching.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_00: Oh no, first of all, you don't like reading.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_03: You a nigga that don't like reading or something?
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_00: I think I know what's gonna go.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: I did some reading.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_00: It took a step back in terms of their animation one.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_00: I don't know what they went with a different Okay.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_00: That was a problem for me.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_00: But also That's a big deal for you?
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_03: You were nigga, you were born in the 1950s.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_03: Animation can't mean that much to a nigga like you.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_00: All right, so boom.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_00: But all right.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_00: So if if we have something like Dragon Um Demon Slayer at the level they're at animation with, yeah, I'm not saying match it because that's they they they pour tons of money into that, and that's their strength.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_00: Their story's kind of weak.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_00: But you should at least be close to matching, or at least in the realm.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_00: But they would they took a step backwards.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll give you that.
- 1:08:29SPEAKER_00: And then on top of that, with the culling game thing going on, I'm like, yo, you should have started with this in like season two.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_00: Because you know any start of a good anime.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_00: All the tournament in the game.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_03: Let's go.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: No, but I to me, the reason why I'm saying they're gonna be the Dragon Musky of this generation is because I think that they have they they have the Attack on Titan is remove anime label.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_03: To me, the writing in that show transcended anime.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_03: That is something you can make a feature film about.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_03: That's box office shit to me in terms of the depth.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_03: Niggas ain't watching anime for that.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_03: But to me, the storytelling that jujitsu kaizen is doing with the fights and the characters, because what sells Dragon Ball Z is the characters.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_03: I think jujitsu Kaisen got that.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_03: The main character is pretty much a flying brick.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_03: He don't got no special move.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_03: Nah, he's straight handy.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's just punching niggas.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm I'm waiting for his move.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_03: Everybody got a move.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_03: He got the little black.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but everybody can do that.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_03: True.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_03: So it's kind of like Dragon Ball Z.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, everybody can do Kamehameha, but Goku's Kamehameha is special.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_03: So You also got Tsukuna.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_00: Which is a Naruto shit.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_00: That was great writing.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_00: The writing's A1.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_00: That moment where he realized what he slash did, I felt it.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_03: I was like, Sukuna's gangster though.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_03: That's a gangster character.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_03: He makes the Nazi Fox look ass.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_00: He does.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_00: But again, yo.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_00: This goes back to like why Naruto's gonna forever be.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_00: It's not better than Dragon Ball Z, ultimately.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_00: Because you didn't admit that before.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_00: Preference wise, I will always choose a better story over.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_00: That's fair.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_00: The whole concept of having something in you that is evil.
- 1:10:14SPEAKER_00: That's that came from Naruto.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_03: Yes, I didn't see it before that.
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_00: Tsukuna is the same concept.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, how did you get that?
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: We're gonna find out.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_00: You know, you like to read, so you already know where this is.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_03: No, I didn't read that far.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_03: Don't do that.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_03: But it's a simple.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_03: Oh stop, stop.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't like when you do this, bro.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_03: But either way.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_03: You don't know what I read.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_03: And you go you going too far.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_03: Alright, you're right.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_03: But I'm at the culling games right now.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_03: I'm chilling.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_00: Alright, well, I like the.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_00: I could say Naruto, Naruto and Sasuke are Fuga Fushi Fuku Fushigro and um what's his name?
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_00: Yuji.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_00: Yuji.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_00: You see the same characters now.
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_03: They gotta do something about these names, bro.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, those two are a little bit.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_00: Fushiger.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_00: Mogumi's better.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_00: Mugumi.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_03: They gotta change.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_03: Nah, they gotta see Goku, Vegeta.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_03: Goku.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_03: Naruto, Sasuke.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_03: Easy.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_03: These niggas is going too far.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_00: They pull you into the cross.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_03: They gotta remember.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_03: We just start.
- 1:11:09SPEAKER_03: It's that Meg the Stallion shit though.
- 1:11:11SPEAKER_03: What Tapima Stah.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she went crazy.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_03: Stop.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_03: They thought black people was gonna be able to say Muguni Majuga for.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_03: Come on, bro.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_05: Fushi.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_03: That nigga needs his name need to be nigga with the black hair and nigga with the purple hair.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_00: This character that died.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_00: I don't remember them.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_00: I don't remember.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_03: It's the names, bro.
- 1:11:27SPEAKER_03: You know it was a gangster too, the nigga with the sword.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_00: Which one?
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_03: I don't know his name.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_03: The nigga, the nigga, the nigga that was in the movie, the Zero.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_03: Did you watch it?
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, with the white?
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_03: That's my guy.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_03: With the monster?
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_03: That's my guy.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that nigga.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_03: He backed up Yuji in like four movies.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_03: Light.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like he don't got no like.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know how far do you read?
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_00: Stop.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_00: Let's just we're talking about the show.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_00: Listen, man.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_00: He's the guy.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_00: He's the if what's his name?
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_00: I know his name.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_03: Gojo.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_00: If Gojo's out the paint, that's the guy.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, he's easy too.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_03: But he can't he can't be shooking at all.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_03: Not yet.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_03: Stop, stop.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_03: You're talking too much.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_00: He can do everything, bro.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_00: Nah, he definitely can.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_00: He got a six summon that can probably rival, not fully rival.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_00: Magora?
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_00: Whatever it is, Magumi summons.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the Magora thing.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_00: That he can, he, he's gonna get to that level, I feel like.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_00: Um, he can do the speech joint.
- 1:12:19SPEAKER_00: He got hands and sword.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_03: What about Shorty?
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_03: That she turned into this nigga's pops.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, um Maki?
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_03: Maki, I think.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he had a twin.
- 1:12:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the names, bro.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_03: They got a Sakura, easy.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_03: Not Maki.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_03: I think it's a big one.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but like you don't remember that because they don't say her name enough.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_03: You see, you you don't even know.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she got and she yo, she she packed up the entire clan.
- 1:12:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she turned into Toji.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_00: So now Fushiguro has a clan that it's just him and her.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, apparently she's um she's goaded now.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_03: Um how do you feel about that?
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_03: You would you want to be one of them niggas?
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_03: She's like a rock league.
- 1:13:00SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_00: Do I want to be like a rock league nigga or a nigga that could use some technique?
- 1:13:04SPEAKER_00: I would always pick the Toji path.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, no technique.
- 1:13:07SPEAKER_00: Because the truth of the matter is Toji killed Gojo.
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_03: He didn't kill Gojo.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_03: He cheated.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_03: He killed Gojo.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_03: How?
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_03: He had all that other shit.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_03: Who gave him that backpack?
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_00: He stole it from the last person.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_00: That's yours.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_03: You're right, you're right.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_03: Nah, I would've.
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_03: He did the Thor shit.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_03: You gotta aim for the neck.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_03: These dudes chop his head off.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_03: What didn't he stab him?
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_03: He didn't aim for the neck.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_03: Nah, he hit him like he didn't cut his head off.
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_00: Yo, he he killed him to the point where.
- 1:13:39SPEAKER_00: He left, finished the mission, and came back.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_00: And he was like, This guy's alive still?
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_00: Then he got packed.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_00: By someone so by hold on.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_00: By a technique that this man came up with just then and there.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_00: That nigga was affected it.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_00: Floating.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_00: The only thing that was off is he missed and took like this.
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he didn't even need it.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_03: He didn't need it.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_03: He didn't need to take his head off.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_03: That's why you need technique.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_03: Because if he had technique, he could do the same thing um Gojo did.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_03: He healed.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_03: Nah, bro, that was sick.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_00: He should have dodged it, but I mean, plot armor.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_00: Thought he was nah.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_00: Don't do that.
- 1:14:08SPEAKER_00: Dude sat there and said, I feel sick.
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_00: Why didn't you kill him?
- 1:14:11SPEAKER_00: He couldn't.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_00: He got blue eyes.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_00: Can't kill him.
- 1:14:14SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 1:14:16SPEAKER_00: I was like, and I love that character because he was one of those characters where it's like, this is the perfect villain.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_00: To the point they gave him the moderate arc.
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_00: They brought him back.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_00: One more time for one more fade.
- 1:14:26SPEAKER_00: And again, Magumi should have been dead.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_03: You know what I also liked about um the writing of Jiu Jitsu Kaisen?
- 1:14:33SPEAKER_03: Was watching uh Gojo and his man's.
- 1:14:36SPEAKER_03: I forgot his man's name.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the man.
- 1:14:38SPEAKER_03: His powers to eat shit.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_00: His power.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_03: Come on now.
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_00: They OD'd on him.
- 1:14:46SPEAKER_00: He'd be really trying to get a lot of things.
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_00: What was his name?
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_00: Gojo too.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_00: I can't remember.
- 1:14:51SPEAKER_00: You see what I was saying?
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_03: His name is probably some complicated toppy must stop.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_03: That's his name.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_00: And I like the show.
- 1:14:58SPEAKER_00: I watch it.
- 1:14:58SPEAKER_00: I like his character.
- 1:14:59SPEAKER_03: I can't.
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_03: It's only the names of Toji Gojo.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_03: That's easy.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_03: Vegeta Goku.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_03: You see what I'm saying?
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_03: They gotta do something about that.
- 1:15:07SPEAKER_03: Jojo's another one.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_03: So them them two watching them.
- 1:15:11SPEAKER_03: They're dynamic.
- 1:15:12SPEAKER_03: Because at first he had to pull um Gojo out of the young humanity is useless.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_03: Gojo was saying that.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_03: And his man's the one that's that's evil.
- 1:15:23SPEAKER_03: He pulled him out of that.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_03: And then he had his realization of, you know what?
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_03: Gojo was right.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_03: And then Gojo's, nah, nah.
- 1:15:31SPEAKER_03: Nah, I was wrong.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_03: I was, and all right.
- 1:15:33SPEAKER_03: So then he sent his little man with the sword.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_03: And that was good fun.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_03: That movie was great.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that was great.
- 1:15:39SPEAKER_03: That was some Dragon Ball Z shit.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_03: So they both did their best blast.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_03: See who wins.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_03: Nigga took all the shit.
- 1:15:45SPEAKER_00: His power was the E shit, man.
- 1:15:47SPEAKER_00: But when he like, I'll give you an example.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_00: He fought Toji and he pulled out that dragon, even though Toji packed the dragon with ease.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_00: But either way, to be able to take those, what, those cursed spirits and then use them against people, that's a that's an A1 power.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_03: And you know what the fire part about the writing in the show too is?
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_03: I think some character asked him, like, yo, what do they taste like?
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_03: He was like a like a um a rag that like that cleans shit.
- 1:16:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_00: I I love that.
- 1:16:11SPEAKER_00: That's a great description.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_00: Like, it's it's gotta be filthy.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_03: That's how it would taste.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_00: Like this is filth.
- 1:16:16SPEAKER_03: And that's your power, dog.
- 1:16:18SPEAKER_03: Damn.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_03: To eat shit.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, but I'm not doing the Rock Lee thing, though.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_03: Those characters always end up packed up.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_03: Nah, Yuji's still around.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_03: Toji still around.
- 1:16:27SPEAKER_03: Nah, Yuji's not one of them.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_03: He's not around.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_03: He has a yeah, Toadie's not around.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_03: Maki's gonna have the same fate.
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_03: I don't know this, I'm just talking.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_03: At some point, yeah.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_03: She's gonna challenge Sukuna on you.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_03: You need you need technique, bro.
- 1:16:38SPEAKER_03: And I'm telling you, I'm waiting for Yuji to get his signature move.
- 1:16:42SPEAKER_03: I don't know what it's gonna be.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_03: Everybody needs a Kamehameha and handle it.
- 1:16:48SPEAKER_03: No, that can't be his signature move, though.
- 1:16:49SPEAKER_03: Because Naocho has a Rasengon, Sasuke has a Chidori, uh Goku has Kamehameha, Vegeta has Galligan, Final Flash, Big Bang, whatever you want to call it.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_03: You need you need a Kamehameha.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_03: You need one.
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_03: I mean that's that's the Dragon Ball Z shit.
- 1:17:04SPEAKER_03: Aaron didn't need one because the writing on that show was the writing.
- 1:17:08SPEAKER_03: Aaron?
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, from Attack on Titan.
- 1:17:11SPEAKER_00: He uh he technically did have a comment once he got the the armored Titanic.
- 1:17:15SPEAKER_03: I was like he had that shit for like one episode.
- 1:17:18SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 1:17:18SPEAKER_00: He didn't even use it.
- 1:17:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the way you should have 'cause he didn't have time.
- 1:17:21SPEAKER_00: Because all he had to do, well, he didn't want to win.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_00: He wanted to lose on purpose.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_02: Which was Aaron right?
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_02: Was he right?
- 1:17:27SPEAKER_02: I'm asking you.
- 1:17:28SPEAKER_02: How do you feel about that?
- 1:17:29SPEAKER_00: Um except that obviously he set up his friends to be the heroes, which is smart, but um he could have just smoked the whole world if he was.
- 1:17:40SPEAKER_03: I think that's what he should have done.
- 1:17:41SPEAKER_03: You know why I said that?
- 1:17:42SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 1:17:42SPEAKER_03: Because in the epilogue, the shit just kept happening.
- 1:17:45SPEAKER_03: It just happens again.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, but he loved his woman, which uh Mikasa was a great character.
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_00: That was a great show.
- 1:17:55SPEAKER_00: But she fronted on him.
- 1:17:56SPEAKER_03: Anyway, but no, he fronted on her.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_03: What you talking about?
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_00: Didn't he say something like, Oh, do you love me or not?
- 1:18:00SPEAKER_00: She was like, Oh, it's a brother.
- 1:18:01SPEAKER_00: And he's like, All right, but she was scared.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_00: He was like, I bet.
- 1:18:04SPEAKER_00: I'm sniffing.
- 1:18:06SPEAKER_00: Crash dice, eh?
- 1:18:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_00: Rumbling.
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_00: But no, I think he was right ultimately.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_03: Alright, um, in the in the in the anime news, uh, this is is this technically anime or is this gaming?
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_03: Pokemon's back.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_03: That's um that's gaming more.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_03: Listen.
- 1:18:21SPEAKER_03: Pikachu is the biggest character in the anime.
- 1:18:25SPEAKER_03: Wait, what do you mean when you say back, what do you mean?
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_03: New game.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_00: I you not a Pokemon guy?
- 1:18:30SPEAKER_00: I have stopped to a long time ago.
- 1:18:32SPEAKER_00: Talking about blurred.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_03: Not a real blurred, bro.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_00: I I enjoy Pokemon, but they have too many of them.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_03: It's just I don't there's not too many characters in Jiu Jitsu Kaiser.
- 1:18:41SPEAKER_00: The farthest I'll go is Crystal version, bro.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_03: You are old nigga.
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_03: Crystal.
- 1:18:45SPEAKER_03: Call me what you want.
- 1:18:46SPEAKER_03: Nigga, that was on Game Boy Color.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_03: That wasn't on a DS.
- 1:18:50SPEAKER_03: One of the greatest.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_03: That's old nigga.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_03: You know, so you don't even know what the new Pokemon look like.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_03: I've seen things.
- 1:18:56SPEAKER_03: I've seen a couple things.
- 1:18:57SPEAKER_03: What's it what Nintendo device you got?
- 1:19:01SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah, I got you.
- 1:19:02SPEAKER_03: I know I'm getting I know I'm getting you for Christmas, bro.
- 1:19:05SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:19:05SPEAKER_03: I'm getting you a Nintendo Switch.
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, a Switch.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_00: That'd be nice.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna get you a Switch 2.
- 1:19:10SPEAKER_03: A Switch 2?
- 1:19:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's what that is.
- 1:19:12SPEAKER_03: Is it two?
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you see, I might be washed.
- 1:19:17SPEAKER_03: Might?
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_03: Yo.
- 1:19:19SPEAKER_03: That's that's just the script I'm gonna write.
- 1:19:21SPEAKER_03: Nah, rock.
- 1:19:22SPEAKER_03: I gotta don't know he's washed.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_00: You're gonna be the you're gonna be the because of now, hold on, but because of social media, I feel like all the timelines are now merged.
- 1:19:31SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, I don't like that.
- 1:19:32SPEAKER_00: I heard something recently.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_00: This is off topic.
- 1:19:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but um I heard that spring bed spring break is dead because like the 30 plus year olds are gone.
- 1:19:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like why?
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_00: And so they're pricing out the people in college.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_00: They're like the bars are expensive now, yes, because why are they there?
- 1:19:46SPEAKER_03: What are they spring breaking?
- 1:19:48SPEAKER_03: Time lines.
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:19:51SPEAKER_03: They're all from work?
- 1:19:51SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:19:52SPEAKER_00: Why are you there?
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_03: Like, what?
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, oh cool, yeah.
- 1:19:56SPEAKER_03: God, I know exactly why they're there.
- 1:19:58SPEAKER_03: All right, but um, yeah, new Pokemon.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_03: Bon.
- 1:20:01SPEAKER_03: New Pokemon, yeah, Bon, yeah.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_03: That's gonna be our inside.
- 1:20:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you just say Bond, and we both know what's going on, all right?
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_01: Bon Mon.

- 1:20:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so new Pokemon uh is called Winds and Waves.
- 1:20:15SPEAKER_03: Um every Pokemon game since a little theme, X and Y.
- 1:20:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they all have themes, and there's a new gimmick.
- 1:20:23SPEAKER_03: So there's like Mega Evolutions, Terror Evolutions.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_03: You were you around when Double Battles got introduced?
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_03: Yes, that was it around that was a gimmick.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_03: No, no, that's the last one I played, actually.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_03: Uh Emerald and I think Emerald's the greatest Pokemon game of all time.
- 1:20:38SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_03: It's it because Ruby and Sapphire was great, and Emerald just combined the two games.
- 1:20:45SPEAKER_03: That was like the yellow version.
- 1:20:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and it was it's just a go.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_03: With um and nostalgia.
- 1:20:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:51SPEAKER_00: Can you go to Canto on that one?
- 1:20:53SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:20:56SPEAKER_00: You gotta be able to go back.
- 1:20:57SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 1:20:58SPEAKER_00: Fight in red.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_03: Or Ash, whoever he is.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_03: Same surprise, same guy.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_03: Um so yeah, every generation has a gimmick.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_03: Uh the one before this was uh terrorization.
- 1:21:11SPEAKER_03: It's basically you can give your Pokemon a third type.
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_03: It's it's fun in a competitive battle, I can see.
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_03: So this one, like we're speculating about what the new types are gonna be.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_03: The only thing we have, uh not new types, but oh there is a new type.
- 1:21:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm just gonna put you on it.
- 1:21:25SPEAKER_03: It's fairy now.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_03: Fairy type?
- 1:21:27SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 1:21:27SPEAKER_03: It's it kills dragon.
- 1:21:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:21:30SPEAKER_03: Kills dragon.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_03: It's weak to poisonous steel.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_03: But it kills dragons?
- 1:21:34SPEAKER_03: Bodies dragon and dragon can't even touch it.
- 1:21:36SPEAKER_03: It's immune.
- 1:21:38SPEAKER_03: I don't like where this is going.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_00: My favorite Pokemon is always gonna be Dragonite.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_03: Dragonite's still viable.
- 1:21:45SPEAKER_03: He's still here.
- 1:21:46SPEAKER_00: I've heard that Dragonite's trash now.
- 1:21:47SPEAKER_03: No, no, he's still rocking.
- 1:21:48SPEAKER_03: They gave him a new ability.
- 1:21:49SPEAKER_03: He's still that guy.
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_03: No, he's not that guy.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_03: It's mad dragons now.
- 1:21:52SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 1:21:53SPEAKER_03: But he's still he's still usable.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_03: People still use him.
- 1:21:55SPEAKER_03: Hit you with a hyper beat.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_03: He's not like Charizard.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_03: They've been trying to make Charizard pop in every they gave him two mega evolutions.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_00: That's ridiculous.
- 1:22:02SPEAKER_00: What are we talking about now?
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_00: He's still kind of listening I support the Pokemon community.
- 1:22:06SPEAKER_00: I'm still a pseudo member.
- 1:22:07SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 1:22:08SPEAKER_00: I just I don't know any of these new characters.
- 1:22:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you can't you can't be a member if you haven't.
- 1:22:12SPEAKER_03: The last game you played was Crystal.
- 1:22:15SPEAKER_00: I'm 100% an old head in Pokemon.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_03: Do you do you want to get caught up to speed?
- 1:22:20SPEAKER_03: I'll do it over time.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_03: No, I'm gonna like I'm gonna help you out.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:22:25SPEAKER_03: Because I'm a competitive battler.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_03: If you out there and you think you got the skills to battle me, after the part I'm about to show, I'm about to blow this dude's mind.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_03: Pause.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_03: He's about to see some shit he's never even thought was possible.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_03: You should definitely extend the challenge technically.
- 1:22:36SPEAKER_03: And if you want to rock out, we could do it.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_03: I'll send you the friend code, we rock out.
- 1:22:40SPEAKER_03: I'm an OG Pokemon battler.
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah?
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:22:43SPEAKER_03: If you don't know what Eevee training and Ivy training is, we can't even talk.
- 1:22:46SPEAKER_00: Eeve training and Ivy training?
- 1:22:48SPEAKER_03: Well, Ivy breeding, Eeve training.
- 1:22:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know about Eevee.
- 1:22:52SPEAKER_03: No, not the Pokemon.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_03: Flareon.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_03: No, not that has nothing to do with that.
- 1:22:55SPEAKER_03: Cholteon.
- 1:22:56SPEAKER_03: Has nothing to do with that.
- 1:22:56SPEAKER_03: Espion.
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_03: Umbreon.
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_03: It has nothing to do with that.
- 1:22:59SPEAKER_03: You're right.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_03: It is more.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_00: It's like a green one, some leaf.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_00: Leafion.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_00: Leaf.
- 1:23:03SPEAKER_00: Leafion and Glecheon.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_03: Those are the last two.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_03: Took it too.
- 1:23:06SPEAKER_03: No, no, Sylphion.
- 1:23:08SPEAKER_00: See that.
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_03: See?
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_03: I'm up on game.
- 1:23:10SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 1:23:10SPEAKER_03: That's something about man.
- 1:23:11SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 1:23:12SPEAKER_03: You know about the Tapu's?
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_03: The Who?
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:23:15SPEAKER_03: They had a Hawaii game.
- 1:23:17SPEAKER_03: Tapu Lele, Tapu Coco.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_03: This guy's not, he's not what he says he is.
- 1:23:23SPEAKER_03: He got he got the Cinephile shit, right?
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_03: He got that.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_03: Oh man.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_03: But he ain't coming under this deep water over in the Pokemon game.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_03: But all right I want to be the very best.
- 1:23:32SPEAKER_00: Like no one ever.
- 1:23:33SPEAKER_00: That's still.
- 1:23:33SPEAKER_03: You know Ash retired, right?
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_03: It's a new guy now.
- 1:23:36SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 1:23:37SPEAKER_03: I forgot his name.
- 1:23:37SPEAKER_03: I don't watch the show.
- 1:23:38SPEAKER_03: First of all, I want to.
- 1:23:39SPEAKER_03: Is Ash still 10?
- 1:23:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_03: Well he's done, he's done though.
- 1:23:42SPEAKER_03: He retired.
- 1:23:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you retired.
- 1:23:43SPEAKER_03: And he lost his like his last battle.
- 1:23:44SPEAKER_03: To who?
- 1:23:45SPEAKER_03: Some guy.
- 1:23:46SPEAKER_03: Not Gary.
- 1:23:47SPEAKER_03: No, Gary Benwack.
- 1:23:48SPEAKER_03: Gary like an accountant.
- 1:23:50SPEAKER_03: He gave up.
- 1:23:51SPEAKER_03: This guy sold his Pokemon.
- 1:23:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, nah, Gary Benwack.
- 1:23:54SPEAKER_03: Oh no, but there's a new like guy.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_03: And he captured Ray Quazer.
- 1:23:58SPEAKER_03: That's whack?
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_03: Like he has a Ray Quazer.
- 1:24:00SPEAKER_03: Like whenever you That's whack.
- 1:24:01SPEAKER_00: I guarantee he's gonna get nerfed.
- 1:24:02SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden Rayquaza is getting beat by Voltorb.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_03: Well, that's how that happens in the show regardless.
- 1:24:07SPEAKER_03: That'll never happen in the game.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 1:24:09SPEAKER_03: The game is a real lore.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_03: If you know, you know.
- 1:24:11SPEAKER_03: Alright, um, before we get up out of here, this is a conversation I think deserves our attention.
- 1:24:19SPEAKER_03: The new Dune trailer dropped.
- 1:24:25SPEAKER_02: And the internet went in a frenzy.
- 1:24:32SPEAKER_02: Then a discussion started popping off about Doom versus Star Wars.
- 1:24:41SPEAKER_02: From what I understand.
- 1:24:45SPEAKER_02: Star Wars was heavily inspired by the Doom books.
- 1:24:52SPEAKER_03: I will make the argument here today.
- 1:24:54SPEAKER_03: You're the one that put me onto Star Wars having even having books and lore and stars.
- 1:24:58SPEAKER_03: I thought Star Wars was just popcorn movies.
- 1:25:01SPEAKER_03: Who the star-off is, yeah.
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_03: I'm familiar with the Doom books.
- 1:25:07SPEAKER_03: I never thought they would be adapted to TV or movies because it's not easy.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_03: They are weird as fuck.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_03: They left out a lot of them.
- 1:25:14SPEAKER_03: First of all, this is Dune's final movie.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_03: And the reason, in my opinion, for that is because what happens after this movie, you can't put on TV.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_03: You can't put on the screen.
- 1:25:26SPEAKER_03: You can't.
- 1:25:27SPEAKER_03: To spoil it a little bit for you, I just want to paint a scene.
- 1:25:31SPEAKER_03: Imagine if that worm had a face of a man.
- 1:25:36SPEAKER_03: And it talks.
- 1:25:38SPEAKER_03: It argues with people.
- 1:25:41SPEAKER_03: Pops up an argument.
- 1:25:42SPEAKER_03: You can't put that on an iMac screen.
- 1:25:46SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:25:46SPEAKER_03: There's is there's levels and some shit just needs to be in a book or video game.
- 1:25:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:25:50SPEAKER_03: You can't do that on the screen.
- 1:25:52SPEAKER_00: That's why people have to read, by the way.
- 1:25:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's gonna, it's gonna freak people out to visually see that.
- 1:25:57SPEAKER_03: Nobody's watching that.
- 1:25:58SPEAKER_03: I don't care who you get to face.
- 1:26:00SPEAKER_03: You go you could put they can do it, but it's just not something that needs to be action.
- 1:26:06SPEAKER_03: And to me, Star Wars impact.
- 1:26:11SPEAKER_02: And I'm not even a big Star Wars guy.
- 1:26:13SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:26:15SPEAKER_02: It's like top three.
- 1:26:19SPEAKER_02: Like that shit is in the culture.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_00: Top three trilogies or like the things that are.
- 1:26:23SPEAKER_00: I don't even care.
- 1:26:24SPEAKER_03: I don't even the brand.
- 1:26:25SPEAKER_03: I don't care about the movies.
- 1:26:26SPEAKER_03: No, no, 100%.
- 1:26:27SPEAKER_00: That's definitely top three brand.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_03: Like it's just in the cult.
- 1:26:30SPEAKER_03: Uh that shit is American, like Apple Pie.
- 1:26:33SPEAKER_03: It's there in like Lord of the Rings, those two.
- 1:26:35SPEAKER_03: You see, I I wouldn't I think putting Lord of the Rings in that conversation.
- 1:26:38SPEAKER_03: Star Wars is above Lord of the Rings.
- 1:26:39SPEAKER_03: I think it's I don't even think they're in the same conversation.
- 1:26:41SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:26:41SPEAKER_03: I think Dune ends up where Lord of the Rings is.
- 1:26:43SPEAKER_03: Lord of the Rings has entire communities that ends up there maximum.
- 1:26:50SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you But you tell.
- 1:26:52SPEAKER_00: Well it could.
- 1:26:52SPEAKER_00: It could.
- 1:26:53SPEAKER_00: But the reason why Star Wars, um talk to the mic, bro.
- 1:26:56SPEAKER_00: Number one, Star Wars uh when it came out in terms of technology, which obviously wasn't the best at the time, but when it came out, that was like the biggest thing.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_00: In terms of like the special effects were up there.
- 1:27:08SPEAKER_00: And then we would we took the viewing audience.
- 1:27:12SPEAKER_00: When I say we, I'm saying like I was there, but people, cinematography, took the viewing audience out of this universe and displayed it.
- 1:27:18SPEAKER_00: Now I remember originally it was for kids because they had like a holiday special, some kind of Christmas special, they tried to realized that their fans were adults.
- 1:27:26SPEAKER_00: Okay, like adults loved it.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_00: Princess Leia.
- 1:27:29SPEAKER_00: Princess Leia, all those things, all those um attributes.
- 1:27:31SPEAKER_00: And when they came out with the whole trilogy, the writing, finding out that you know, the big reveal that Darth Vader is Luke's father is the first of its kind.
- 1:27:41SPEAKER_00: People have been reusing it over and over and over and over.
- 1:27:43SPEAKER_00: It's like it's been beaten to death.
- 1:27:45SPEAKER_00: And then when you find out that George Lucas uh got inspiration from the Bible Virgin Birth.
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_00: Virgin birth, exactly, immaculate birth and conception, all these different things.
- 1:27:54SPEAKER_00: And then the um the next three, the epilogues came out, the yeah, the prequels.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_00: How do you feel about those?
- 1:28:01SPEAKER_00: Um, I think they aged well because of how terrible these last three were.
- 1:28:05SPEAKER_00: But I appreciated them.
- 1:28:06SPEAKER_00: I like number two and three.
- 1:28:08SPEAKER_00: I like that one scene in number one where Darth Maul is revealed.
- 1:28:12SPEAKER_00: Um it did have a kiddie aspect to it um at first, the first episode, episode one.
- 1:28:16SPEAKER_00: But by the time you get to episode three, and this is why I always appreciate a good story arc.
- 1:28:21SPEAKER_00: You went from this little boy, and then you turn into this guy, the Darth Vader.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_00: Like this is now Darth Vader at the height of his power, still has a physical body that's not purely machine.
- 1:28:34SPEAKER_00: He can kill and is cooking Jedi Masters, and uh he just unfortunately ran into the greatest Jedi to never be known as the greatest Jedi, which is um Obi-Wan, because Obi-Wan has a lot of winds under his belt.
- 1:28:48SPEAKER_00: But that that arc was amazing, character-wise, and it didn't get appreciated until later on, unfortunately.
- 1:28:54SPEAKER_03: Star Wars has the coolest movie poster ever.
- 1:28:57SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you've ever seen it.
- 1:28:58SPEAKER_03: It's Anakin and his shadow is Darth Vader.
- 1:29:01SPEAKER_03: It's Darth Vader.
- 1:29:02SPEAKER_03: Fire.
- 1:29:03SPEAKER_00: That is crazy.
- 1:29:03SPEAKER_00: I remember the first time I watched it, I'm like, so this is Anakin.
- 1:29:06SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't see how this is Darth Vader.
- 1:29:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, how does he get there?
- 1:29:08SPEAKER_00: But then look, like they gave you little hints of his abilities, and even he have a little burst of anger.
- 1:29:14SPEAKER_00: He's like, My name is Anakin, I'm a person.
- 1:29:16SPEAKER_00: I don't think the actor at the time, he's a kid, I don't think he did the best.
- 1:29:19SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:29:20SPEAKER_03: Do you think it needs a remake?
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_03: Do you think Star Wars should just go back?
- 1:29:23SPEAKER_00: I think Star Wars needs to explore the old Republic lore, which is in the books.
- 1:29:28SPEAKER_00: They need to explore to me, that's going back.
- 1:29:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they should go back.
- 1:29:31SPEAKER_00: Stop with the new shit.
- 1:29:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the new, and plus, they already had books about the new stuff, and they just said we're gonna go in a totally different direction.
- 1:29:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:29:36SPEAKER_00: They had entire lores where Luke Skywalker trains um Han Solo's son, Jaden Solo.
- 1:29:42SPEAKER_00: They had twin kids, by the way.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_00: And Luke has a son named Ben Solo.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_00: They left all that.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about there's fans who love these books.
- 1:29:50SPEAKER_00: I read a bunch of them and they were phenomenal.
- 1:29:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I'm like, y'all just left all that to create this new story, and it all ends up being Darth Sidious' granddaughter being the only Jedi left.
- 1:30:00SPEAKER_00: Like we've we've already killed Darth Sidious over and over, even though in the books he's he comes around again.
- 1:30:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I heard this dude is like that there's even stronger Sith Lords than him.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I think he might be the greatest in terms of living forever.
- 1:30:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:30:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 1:30:15SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 1:30:16SPEAKER_00: In terms of living forever.
- 1:30:16SPEAKER_00: He with the clones and all that, he mastered it.
- 1:30:20SPEAKER_00: But um, with the movies, that we when it comes to the films, the biggest problem with the new ones, which is episode six through, was it nine, seven three?
- 1:30:30SPEAKER_03: I I stopped watching that they didn't let the black dude become a Jedi.
- 1:30:33SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 1:30:34SPEAKER_00: Jedi or Sith, let something happen.
- 1:30:36SPEAKER_00: He was just a they sold us on that.
- 1:30:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they showed Jonathan Boyga.
- 1:30:39SPEAKER_00: We're like, oh, this is sick.
- 1:30:40SPEAKER_00: We first time we're seeing a stormtrooper take off their mask.
- 1:30:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that was big, bro.
- 1:30:44SPEAKER_00: I remember that moment.
- 1:30:46SPEAKER_00: I was like, this is I was so excited.
- 1:30:48SPEAKER_00: And then they just squandered him.
- 1:30:49SPEAKER_00: And then the second the second film had a different director.
- 1:30:52SPEAKER_00: Third one had went back to the original director.
- 1:30:54SPEAKER_00: Just a lot of foolishness that had nothing to do with the story.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_00: So when it comes to Dune versus Star Wars, Dune is gonna win out because they have the book lore that's been around for such a long time that they've had the time, and because they didn't jump the gun, I think someone attempted to make the movie.
- 1:31:08SPEAKER_00: No, it came out in 1984.
- 1:31:10SPEAKER_00: And it was weird as shit.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:31:12SPEAKER_00: Like now they're mastering actors and they're bringing it out, they're rolling it out properly.
- 1:31:17SPEAKER_00: And they got them, they got the actors.
- 1:31:19SPEAKER_03: Yes, they got Zendiah.
- 1:31:22SPEAKER_03: Yes, they got the chosen one, Timothy.
- 1:31:26SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 1:31:26SPEAKER_03: She's low.
- 1:31:26SPEAKER_03: She's the Holly Berry.
- 1:31:28SPEAKER_03: She gotta be in everything.
- 1:31:30SPEAKER_03: Excuse me?
- 1:31:31SPEAKER_03: She's the Holly Berry.
- 1:31:32SPEAKER_03: She gotta be in everything.
- 1:31:33SPEAKER_03: Oh, you're talking about because she's black.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_03: Biracial?
- 1:31:36SPEAKER_03: I didn't I'm not uh black is black to me.
- 1:31:38SPEAKER_03: Alright, cool.
- 1:31:39SPEAKER_03: And she's a better actress than Holly Berry ever was.
- 1:31:41SPEAKER_03: Talk to me.
- 1:31:44SPEAKER_02: Talk to me.
- 1:31:46SPEAKER_00: Different opportunities.
- 1:31:48SPEAKER_03: Don't do this.
- 1:31:49SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'll keep forgetting.
- 1:31:50SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 1:31:50SPEAKER_03: You're right.
- 1:31:51SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying because you know Halle Berry has to get her her euphoria moment where she gets to create this narrative that she plays.
- 1:31:58SPEAKER_03: She had Catwoman and ruined it.
- 1:32:02SPEAKER_03: She had Gothica.
- 1:32:04SPEAKER_03: They gave her horror and they gave her um a DC character.
- 1:32:07SPEAKER_03: She won an Oscar, right?
- 1:32:09SPEAKER_03: Yes, for what?
- 1:32:10SPEAKER_03: Monsters Ball.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_03: For what happened to her.
- 1:32:13SPEAKER_03: Zenday are gonna win an Oscar without having to do that.
- 1:32:15SPEAKER_03: I promise you that.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_00: Listen, I'm not saying Zenday is not going to win an Oscar or that she's not talented.
- 1:32:22SPEAKER_00: I just don't want to poo-poo on um I'm not.
- 1:32:24SPEAKER_00: Holly Berry's.
- 1:32:25SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying you are.
- 1:32:26SPEAKER_00: I'm saying because Halle Berry at the same time, like Catwoman was written a certain way.
- 1:32:31SPEAKER_00: Yo.
- 1:32:32SPEAKER_00: Give me the Holly Berry role that you was like, yeah.
- 1:32:35SPEAKER_03: She's nice?
- 1:32:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:32:36SPEAKER_03: Boomerang.
- 1:32:38SPEAKER_03: You an old nigga.
- 1:32:40SPEAKER_03: I'm not old.
- 1:32:40SPEAKER_03: That's a classic film.
- 1:32:41SPEAKER_03: What are you talking about?
- 1:32:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you're an old nigga.
- 1:32:44SPEAKER_03: I gotta rewatch that movie.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_03: Boomerang.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know she was in that.
- 1:32:46SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you an old nigga.
- 1:32:49SPEAKER_00: Fire.
- 1:32:49SPEAKER_03: That's a good movie, right?
- 1:32:50SPEAKER_03: I don't even know what I mean.
- 1:32:51SPEAKER_00: Nah, she honestly, she's one of those, exactly what I was talking about, the Micah B.
- 1:32:53SPEAKER_00: Jordan thing, where symmetry is a classic.
- 1:32:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's a beautiful woman.
- 1:32:56SPEAKER_00: Across all any man who says, oh she's not attractive.
- 1:32:59SPEAKER_00: Nah, that guy's lying.
- 1:33:00SPEAKER_00: You lying, bro.
- 1:33:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, what else?
- 1:33:01SPEAKER_03: She was.
- 1:33:01SPEAKER_03: She was in John Wick.
- 1:33:03SPEAKER_00: Zendaya is talented, more talented.
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Zendere's a better actress.
- 1:33:06SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm saying.
- 1:33:07SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm saying.
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_00: But yeah, Dune.
- 1:33:10SPEAKER_00: X-Men.
- 1:33:11SPEAKER_00: I think.
- 1:33:12SPEAKER_00: Halliberry X-Men was fired too.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_00: I just love Halleberry.
- 1:33:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:33:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:33:19SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:33:20SPEAKER_03: So the Dune thing.
- 1:33:23SPEAKER_03: Actually, before we leave, because I I jumped the gunner.
- 1:33:26SPEAKER_03: We gotta talk about Morrow a little bit.
- 1:33:28SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, the Dune thing, the first movie the general public did not like.
- 1:33:36SPEAKER_03: I loved it.
- 1:33:37SPEAKER_03: If you know the books, you only appreciate it.
- 1:33:38SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 1:33:40SPEAKER_03: I think I think Timmy was good, but Oscar Isaacs.
- 1:33:46SPEAKER_03: That's Oscar Isaacs.
- 1:33:47SPEAKER_03: He's a veteran.
- 1:33:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, he's Oscar Isaac.
- 1:33:50SPEAKER_03: He was he was in Star Wars 2, by the way.
- 1:33:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he yeah.
- 1:33:53SPEAKER_03: Then the second movie to me is when the super stardom of Chalamet, but the most intriguing character was my man Fade.
- 1:34:06SPEAKER_03: Uh Elvis.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_03: Elvis.
- 1:34:08SPEAKER_00: But that's again, that's the right that's the character being written that way.
- 1:34:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:34:12SPEAKER_03: Like his No, I'm not trying to shit on the I love the movies and I love uh Shalamet's performance, but he did steal the show.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_00: He shows up.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_03: This dude.
- 1:34:20SPEAKER_03: First of all, he made Batista.
- 1:34:23unknown: Yeah, that was so dead.
- 1:34:24SPEAKER_03: And Batista, his character was built up.
- 1:34:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:34:27SPEAKER_03: And this guy came in and was like, oh, these niggas, these bald niggas in this, where they have a black son.
- 1:34:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:34:34SPEAKER_03: What type of mind is like these guys, the world building that that these guys come up with is crazy.
- 1:34:40SPEAKER_03: That's one.
- 1:34:41SPEAKER_03: And he's the nephew.
- 1:34:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_03: He was like, What are you talking about?
- 1:34:46SPEAKER_03: We uh this little trade these kids?
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_03: This is what we're gonna worry about.
- 1:34:50SPEAKER_03: Let's take care of it and he won that fight.
- 1:34:52SPEAKER_03: He did technically win that fight.
- 1:34:53SPEAKER_03: He won that fight.
- 1:34:54SPEAKER_03: They did the um the killmonger.
- 1:34:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:34:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he won that fight.
- 1:35:00SPEAKER_00: At the end of the day, for me, when by the time Timothy was telling these witches to shut up, or what did he say?
- 1:35:05SPEAKER_00: Silent! Yeah, the voice.
- 1:35:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I sat down too.
- 1:35:09SPEAKER_00: I said, show.
- 1:35:11SPEAKER_00: Because he wasn't supposed to have it.
- 1:35:17SPEAKER_00: That was gangster.
- 1:35:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:35:19SPEAKER_00: The voice is hard.
- 1:35:20SPEAKER_00: The voice is hard.
- 1:35:21SPEAKER_00: Or no, no, it was the hype up scene he did.
- 1:35:23SPEAKER_00: Like, I think he was talking to the same people who like brought him up, and he was like, I'm Paul Atreides.
- 1:35:27SPEAKER_00: I can kill him.
- 1:35:28SPEAKER_00: He was talking in their language.
- 1:35:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:35:30SPEAKER_00: And cooking them, and they were just like, he's him.
- 1:35:32SPEAKER_03: And they basically told him, like, hey, for you to be able to talk here, you gotta fight one of these niggas before you can talk.
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_03: It's like, I'm about to show y'all what's really cool.
- 1:35:40SPEAKER_00: But nah, he killed his role for sure, and like his presence in that scene.
- 1:35:43SPEAKER_00: But you're right.
- 1:35:43SPEAKER_00: The dude Elvis, I can't remember.
- 1:35:45SPEAKER_03: And again, this is not a knock.
- 1:35:46SPEAKER_03: It's not a knock.
- 1:35:47SPEAKER_03: I think Timmy is a superstar.
- 1:35:51SPEAKER_03: We'll see.
- 1:35:52SPEAKER_03: Nah, come on, dog.
- 1:35:53SPEAKER_03: We'll see.
- 1:35:54SPEAKER_03: He's a superstar.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_03: We'll see.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_03: He's a superstar.
- 1:35:56SPEAKER_03: He has a potential, absolutely.
- 1:35:57SPEAKER_03: He's a superstar.
- 1:35:59SPEAKER_03: And then the third movie that's about to come out is not out yet.
- 1:36:03SPEAKER_03: We've seen, you know.
- 1:36:06SPEAKER_03: I think Shorty's gonna take it.
- 1:36:08SPEAKER_03: Um The Sister.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:36:11SPEAKER_03: The sister's gonna be in it.
- 1:36:13SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:36:14SPEAKER_03: The one that was talking in the womb.
- 1:36:16SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 1:36:17SPEAKER_03: The actress that plays, the actress that plays the the girl, the the sister, they already showed it.
- 1:36:22SPEAKER_03: She's not a slouch.
- 1:36:23SPEAKER_03: She's from the Northmen.
- 1:36:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:36:26SPEAKER_03: And she's from a lot of shit.
- 1:36:28SPEAKER_03: I gotta get all these names.
- 1:36:29SPEAKER_03: The names don't fucking matter.
- 1:36:30SPEAKER_03: It's a lot of names.
- 1:36:31SPEAKER_03: I mean, we we probably should.
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_03: But we're gonna we've gotta be professional.
- 1:36:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:36:36SPEAKER_03: I got you.
- 1:36:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but Shorty, she's gonna play the sister.
- 1:36:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:36:39SPEAKER_03: And I think he gets upstaged again.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_03: Or this might be where where this is his movie.
- 1:36:44SPEAKER_03: This is this is supposed to be it.
- 1:36:47SPEAKER_00: This is the final game of you know seven game series now.
- 1:36:50SPEAKER_00: This is Darth Vader.
- 1:36:51SPEAKER_00: Because now he's you saw the trailer, right?
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_00: He's still involved as in there.
- 1:36:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:36:56SPEAKER_00: He's still involved in his position.
- 1:36:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:36:58SPEAKER_00: And doing it.
- 1:36:58SPEAKER_00: Because that was a political thing.
- 1:37:00SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:37:00SPEAKER_00: So now I have to see the range between guy who still loves his woman.
- 1:37:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Florence Pugh.
- 1:37:05SPEAKER_00: And now, exactly.
- 1:37:06SPEAKER_00: And now you gotta be on Polish.
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_00: You have to be both now.
- 1:37:09SPEAKER_00: We're gonna see versatility.
- 1:37:10SPEAKER_00: If he can.
- 1:37:11SPEAKER_00: I think he got it.
- 1:37:12SPEAKER_00: I think he got that in spades.
- 1:37:13SPEAKER_00: We'll see.
- 1:37:14SPEAKER_03: I just think sometimes his is it when the big joke is in the room, some niggas is steal his shine sometimes.
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_03: We'll see.
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_03: That don't happen to everybody.
- 1:37:21SPEAKER_03: This has he has to pull it off.
- 1:37:23SPEAKER_00: If he gets outshine again.
- 1:37:24SPEAKER_00: That's fine to me.
- 1:37:25SPEAKER_00: It doesn't do nothing to me.
- 1:37:26SPEAKER_00: Uh for you.
- 1:37:27SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 1:37:28SPEAKER_00: I'm not this takes nothing away from how his ability, his greatness, his skill.
- 1:37:32SPEAKER_00: But like you said, you at some point you gotta you gotta be him in the on the film.
- 1:37:36SPEAKER_00: He did it in Marty Supreme.
- 1:37:38SPEAKER_00: This is Doom.
- 1:37:39SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 1:37:40SPEAKER_03: Some nourishing.
- 1:37:41SPEAKER_03: This is Doom.
- 1:37:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you gotta step up.
- 1:37:44SPEAKER_00: Understand the weight of this is Doom.
- 1:37:46SPEAKER_00: Remember, it was made in 1984.
- 1:37:48SPEAKER_00: The movie was bad.
- 1:37:49SPEAKER_00: The books go way back in the day.
- 1:37:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the books is hard.
- 1:37:51SPEAKER_00: You're carrying the weight of a trilogy or a of a series.
- 1:37:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like this is See what you got.
- 1:37:56SPEAKER_03: And I'm kinda sad that they're gonna end it here.
- 1:37:59SPEAKER_00: It's necessary.
- 1:38:00SPEAKER_00: Because it can they can this can be a Star Wars thing.
- 1:38:03SPEAKER_03: You know they have a TV show, right?
- 1:38:04SPEAKER_03: Doom show?
- 1:38:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:38:05SPEAKER_03: Did you watch it?
- 1:38:06SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:38:06SPEAKER_03: Check it out.
- 1:38:07SPEAKER_03: It's about the um the witches.
- 1:38:09SPEAKER_03: How they become what they are.
- 1:38:11SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:38:11SPEAKER_03: The um I forgot what they're called.
- 1:38:14SPEAKER_03: It's close to like Jesuit or something.
- 1:38:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:38:16SPEAKER_03: And that's on purpose.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_03: Oh no.
- 1:38:20SPEAKER_00: Be going a four or what do you want to do?
- 1:38:21SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 1:38:21SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 1:38:22SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:38:23SPEAKER_03: Before we get up out of here, I know y'all keep hearing me say that.
- 1:38:26SPEAKER_03: Y'all think I'm trying to run up out of here?
- 1:38:27SPEAKER_03: No, I'm I just want to get to the next episode.
- 1:38:30SPEAKER_03: Like, I this is.
- 1:38:31SPEAKER_03: I'm excited for the next episode.
- 1:38:32SPEAKER_03: This is how fun this is.
- 1:38:33SPEAKER_03: Um we gotta talk about uh the goat, or some are calling the goat.
- 1:38:38unknown: The goat.
- 1:38:38SPEAKER_03: Spider-Man.
- 1:38:40SPEAKER_03: The Spider-Man trailer dropped.
- 1:38:42unknown: Okay.
- 1:38:44SPEAKER_03: And I think it has like the fastest grossing trailer for I think it beat GTA 6 or something like that for like views in like a certain amount of time.
- 1:38:54SPEAKER_03: We got a lot.
- 1:38:55SPEAKER_03: We got a lot in the trailer.
- 1:38:56SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:38:57SPEAKER_03: And to me, the trailer was perfect.
- 1:39:01SPEAKER_03: It didn't give too much.
- 1:39:03SPEAKER_03: It gave me enough to want to watch it, and it didn't give away everything.
- 1:39:06SPEAKER_03: What's your take on it?
- 1:39:07SPEAKER_03: Where do you think we're going with this?
- 1:39:08SPEAKER_03: I think we're going the man spider route.
- 1:39:10SPEAKER_03: Where he starts to transform.
- 1:39:12SPEAKER_03: I don't know if there it's gonna be body horror.
- 1:39:15SPEAKER_03: I don't know if Marvel's gonna pull off body horror.
- 1:39:18SPEAKER_03: Because the dude man spider has to be, he literally has to grow the arms and get the spider.
- 1:39:23SPEAKER_03: Because what happens in the in the comic, and you know they don't always follow it to a T, but he goes through this transformation, and at the end of that comic, uh, he literally like comes out of the spider like a cocoon kind of thing, and then he's stuck with organic webs for a while.
- 1:39:37SPEAKER_03: So he he gets his his spider powers get enhanced.
- 1:39:41SPEAKER_03: So you would get like a supercharged version of him for a little while.
- 1:39:44SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 1:39:44SPEAKER_03: But he still has to go through like the metamorphosis.
- 1:39:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he he like you saw a scene where he wakes up, he's like, Oh like he has a web cocoon because his body is like, and then this scene where he's has all black eyes, and then you have the Punisher, who's probably gonna be hunting down the man spider.
- 1:39:59SPEAKER_03: But I don't know if Marvel, the Disney Marvel, can do body horror.
- 1:40:05SPEAKER_03: It has to be body horror.
- 1:40:06SPEAKER_03: Depends on the rating and it has to be nasty, yeah.
- 1:40:10SPEAKER_03: Supposed to be.
- 1:40:10SPEAKER_03: They have the tech.
- 1:40:12SPEAKER_03: But are they gonna show us our beloved Tom Holland with a with a your beloved with uh an appendage here in a kid's movie?
- 1:40:25SPEAKER_03: Spider-Man's kid movie.
- 1:40:28SPEAKER_03: And Punisher's gonna be shooting shit.
- 1:40:31SPEAKER_00: I'm all for it.
- 1:40:31SPEAKER_00: But Punisher is a dark character, one of the dark a dark world.
- 1:40:34SPEAKER_00: So if they bring in him in, then why would they why would they bring it down?
- 1:40:38SPEAKER_03: And this is Spider-Man.
- 1:40:40SPEAKER_03: This is not Um Iron Spider.
- 1:40:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:40:44SPEAKER_03: This is not Doctor Strange Spider Man, this is Spider-Man.
- 1:40:48SPEAKER_03: He has no aunt.
- 1:40:51SPEAKER_03: He has to catch a body.
- 1:40:51SPEAKER_03: He's broke, he has to catch a body, he has to catch a body as the spider.
- 1:40:55SPEAKER_03: He's fighting the hand, which is Daredevil's people.
- 1:40:58SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 1:40:59SPEAKER_03: So I think Daredevil's gonna be remembered Daredevil was his lawyer at one point.
- 1:41:03SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:41:04SPEAKER_00: Okay, yo, so they're going, then they're going the dark route.
- 1:41:06SPEAKER_00: It seems like, at least that's the direction of Dar Daredevil and Punisher.
- 1:41:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and Daredevil has a run where he gets possessed by what?
- 1:41:14SPEAKER_03: By the uh by a demon.
- 1:41:16unknown: Alright.
- 1:41:16SPEAKER_00: And there's mutants.
- 1:41:20SPEAKER_00: That part I'm excited for.
- 1:41:21SPEAKER_00: Let's see what let's see what they do with that.
- 1:41:24SPEAKER_00: They jacking the Spider-Man's technically a mutant.
- 1:41:27SPEAKER_00: Mutate?
- 1:41:29SPEAKER_00: But okay.
- 1:41:29SPEAKER_00: Based on DNA.
- 1:41:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:41:31SPEAKER_00: A lot actually a lot of these um these Marvel characters are it's mutations responding to these, you know, weird circumstances.
- 1:41:38SPEAKER_03: Because they're saying that maybe the Hulk triggers this transformation in uh Spider-Man.
- 1:41:46SPEAKER_03: You know, his whole thing is gamma, radiation.
- 1:41:50SPEAKER_03: It wasn't just a regular spider that bit him.
- 1:41:52SPEAKER_03: No, it was um, yeah, it was uh radiated spider.
- 1:41:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think they I think they do the man spider route.
- 1:41:59SPEAKER_03: I don't see Spider-Man is kind of one of those things you can't mess up unless you're Andrew Garfield.
- 1:42:05SPEAKER_00: See, that that's a wild straight, because I thought he did good.
- 1:42:07SPEAKER_00: It's just that he he's the guy who came up in between the greatest and you know the guy that people want to be the greatest.
- 1:42:15SPEAKER_00: It's two different, you know what I mean?
- 1:42:16SPEAKER_00: Like, it's like he's Kobe.
- 1:42:20SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, you're never gonna be number one.
- 1:42:22SPEAKER_00: Jordan, you're you're you're trying to be him, and uh, we brought this guy, LeBron.
- 1:42:26SPEAKER_00: Like, not him.
- 1:42:27SPEAKER_00: He's the Kobe of the whole situation.
- 1:42:30SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:42:30SPEAKER_00: Uh, but nah, um yeah, right.
- 1:42:34SPEAKER_00: Listen, man, Toby McGuire's the best, number one.
- 1:42:37SPEAKER_00: Nostalgia.
- 1:42:38SPEAKER_00: It's not nostalgia.
- 1:42:39SPEAKER_00: You gotta again, like I said when I was talking about Dune, it's the story arc, it's the arc of the character.
- 1:42:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:42:47SPEAKER_00: Man spider really should have been done in that storyline.
- 1:42:51SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:42:51SPEAKER_00: Like number three, the with the Sandman, or even number two, the anorexic venom.
- 1:42:57SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:43:00SPEAKER_00: That was a poor choice of casting.
- 1:43:01SPEAKER_00: But the point is, that should have happened in the Tobey Maguire art because of how angry he was getting at a certain point with everything going on with um MJ, with her getting re trying to get married again.
- 1:43:12SPEAKER_00: She was just playing this guy the whole time.
- 1:43:13SPEAKER_00: But the point is, with this Spider-Man now, with Tom Holland versus Toby Maguire in terms of the man spider, I don't see where it fits in except to introduce the X-Men and to kind of converge the Punisher's world, their devil's world, into this new.
- 1:43:30SPEAKER_00: They're trying to tie the Marvel universe together.
- 1:43:32SPEAKER_03: And it's street level.
- 1:43:33SPEAKER_03: This is not cosmic shit.
- 1:43:35SPEAKER_03: Let's get all the street level guys because X-Men is kind of street level.
- 1:43:38SPEAKER_03: It's supposed to be yeah, level.
- 1:43:40SPEAKER_03: Like these niggas are not fighting Thanos.
- 1:43:41SPEAKER_03: Like the X-Men, they they have the There's tears.
- 1:43:44SPEAKER_03: They have adventures sometimes where they had a gladiator.
- 1:43:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:43:47SPEAKER_03: Um, but most of their thing is they fight, they're Malcolm X.
- 1:43:50SPEAKER_03: They fight in the government.
- 1:43:51SPEAKER_01: Like, that's who they have.
- 1:43:52SPEAKER_03: Their bag is not, yeah.
- 1:43:53SPEAKER_03: We're about to go into the space.
- 1:43:55SPEAKER_03: So, and I think that will help Marvel because there's no more relatable characters than the street level characters.
- 1:44:00SPEAKER_03: Luke Cage was a success because he was street level, right?
- 1:44:03SPEAKER_03: These power, like these are all, and like you said, Daredevil and Punisher, they on TV.
- 1:44:10SPEAKER_03: That's where they live right now.
- 1:44:12SPEAKER_03: Bring them in the big screen using Spider-Man, genius.
- 1:44:15SPEAKER_03: And they need to have a real good runway for the mutants.
- 1:44:19SPEAKER_03: Because how are they gonna introduce the mutants?
- 1:44:21SPEAKER_03: How old are the mutants gonna be?
- 1:44:23SPEAKER_00: Do we get young, yeah?
- 1:44:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:44:25SPEAKER_00: Well, we're in what universe was it?
- 1:44:27SPEAKER_00: Six, seven.
- 1:44:28SPEAKER_00: Keep up.
- 1:44:29SPEAKER_00: So it's it's this has to everything has to happen in this film.
- 1:44:32SPEAKER_00: If you bring in the X-Men, where when did this whole mutation thing start?
- 1:44:35SPEAKER_00: Does it start now?
- 1:44:36SPEAKER_00: And is uh is um Spider-Man also going through that mutation?
- 1:44:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, is he the catalyst?
- 1:44:40SPEAKER_03: Is whatever him and Hulk getting up to?
- 1:44:42SPEAKER_03: Did the snap cause something?
- 1:44:44SPEAKER_03: And then you got remember, um Spider-Man and Johnny Storm are like buddies.
- 1:44:49SPEAKER_03: That's right, yeah.
- 1:44:50SPEAKER_03: We finally got Johnny Storm.
- 1:44:52SPEAKER_03: So he's he's about to come to this universe.
- 1:44:54SPEAKER_03: That's when the movie ended, they were uh they're coming here.
- 1:44:56SPEAKER_03: And remember, did you watch um Thunderbolts?
- 1:45:01SPEAKER_03: No, I didn't.
- 1:45:01SPEAKER_03: That shit was Century, oh my god.
- 1:45:03SPEAKER_03: So Century, the void, yeah, that happened in New York.
- 1:45:06SPEAKER_03: Of course, it's always New York City.
- 1:45:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 1:45:09SPEAKER_03: That has to, it has to show up.
- 1:45:12SPEAKER_03: It has to be.
- 1:45:13SPEAKER_00: Also, I mean, again, if they bring Kang back in, anything is possible, really, because there's again it's just timey whiny.
- 1:45:18SPEAKER_00: But you see, I don't want Kang and Spider-Man.
- 1:45:20SPEAKER_00: No, not yet.
- 1:45:21SPEAKER_00: I need not in the Spider-Man movie.
- 1:45:22SPEAKER_03: Spider-Man gotta be fighting.
- 1:45:25SPEAKER_03: We haven't we don't have a Green Goblin.
- 1:45:27SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:45:28SPEAKER_03: So oh, they have Scorpion.
- 1:45:29SPEAKER_00: They do have a Green Goblin.
- 1:45:31SPEAKER_00: Or maybe a hobgoblin.
- 1:45:33SPEAKER_02: Who?
- 1:45:33SPEAKER_00: You know his best friend?
- 1:45:35SPEAKER_02: The fat nigga.
- 1:45:37SPEAKER_00: Remember in the I think it was the last one he said, I would never betray you.
- 1:45:41SPEAKER_03: He's doing it's gonna happen, dude.
- 1:45:43SPEAKER_03: He's doing that.
- 1:45:44SPEAKER_00: And he's in the video.
- 1:45:45SPEAKER_00: You can't do the video with MJ talking crazy.
- 1:45:47SPEAKER_03: You can't have him be the happiest you ever been, MJ.
- 1:45:50SPEAKER_03: Nah, nah, he can't be that.
- 1:45:51SPEAKER_03: He's he might be.
- 1:45:52SPEAKER_03: And I'm team fat, but he can't fight.
- 1:45:54SPEAKER_03: Not yet.
- 1:45:55SPEAKER_03: No, bro.
- 1:45:56SPEAKER_03: He's gonna do magic.
- 1:45:57SPEAKER_03: I was gonna say, didn't he show signs?
- 1:45:58SPEAKER_03: Nigga, that's not goblins.
- 1:46:01SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be an enemy.
- 1:46:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:46:02SPEAKER_03: Worthy of a fight.
- 1:46:03SPEAKER_03: No, he's gonna put Tom.
- 1:46:05SPEAKER_03: He's gonna bring the goblin, maybe.
- 1:46:07SPEAKER_03: He he has his thing.
- 1:46:09SPEAKER_03: He's a summoner.
- 1:46:09SPEAKER_03: Everybody got their role.
- 1:46:10SPEAKER_03: He got the yeah, yeah.
- 1:46:12SPEAKER_03: Wax on, wax all shit.
- 1:46:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's not throwing them dukes up.
- 1:46:15SPEAKER_03: Those are usually the worst enemies.
- 1:46:16SPEAKER_00: Like Tom Holland also.
- 1:46:17SPEAKER_00: One guy doing this with he got jacked.
- 1:46:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the one guy doing this was fighting Thanos.
- 1:46:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, uh so this guy's gonna violate Tom.
- 1:46:27SPEAKER_00: Come on now.
- 1:46:28SPEAKER_03: But yeah, Tom Holland put on some muscle.
- 1:46:30SPEAKER_03: Not lead to the party.
- 1:46:32SPEAKER_03: He was playing the you know what?
- 1:46:33SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna do this with you, Godfrey.
- 1:46:34SPEAKER_00: No, I hear what you're saying, but uh I'm not gonna do this with you.
- 1:46:36SPEAKER_00: Toby would he'd already been barely card.
- 1:46:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because Toby was 60 years old.
- 1:46:44SPEAKER_03: I'm not shitting on Toby McGuire.
- 1:46:45SPEAKER_03: I think uh without Toby McGuire, we don't have Tom Holland.
- 1:46:49SPEAKER_03: He made he made uh Spider-Man box office.
- 1:46:54SPEAKER_03: 100%.
- 1:46:54SPEAKER_03: And he made it the money is everything.
- 1:46:57SPEAKER_03: If he fails at Spider-Man, we don't get Tom Holland, we don't get Garfield.
- 1:47:01SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:47:02SPEAKER_03: Spider-Man's we just don't do it.
- 1:47:03SPEAKER_03: Maybe it's just one of those things that don't translate.
- 1:47:05SPEAKER_03: We just stick with Batman, Superman.
- 1:47:06SPEAKER_03: You know how hard it is to stop a moving train?
- 1:47:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:47:10SPEAKER_00: With just webs and your body, you you know?
- 1:47:13SPEAKER_00: That seemed like it meant something to you, huh?
- 1:47:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:47:17SPEAKER_00: Because again, it was street level.
- 1:47:19SPEAKER_00: Any New Yorker could be like, yo, that could have been us.
- 1:47:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we could have been on that train.
- 1:47:22SPEAKER_00: And then they moved his bot.
- 1:47:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's the problem with um Tom Holland, is that they they started him off as like a he was Iron Man.
- 1:47:28SPEAKER_00: He was yeah, he was um in the event.
- 1:47:30SPEAKER_00: That's another thing I was gonna say is that because we've already seen him on that level.
- 1:47:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're doing it backwards.
- 1:47:35SPEAKER_00: Now it's punish like what's to stop him saying, yo, well, not Tony, but someone helped me.
- 1:47:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:47:40SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 1:47:41SPEAKER_00: He has access to these guys.
- 1:47:42SPEAKER_00: Now he don't because of the spell.
- 1:47:44SPEAKER_03: Everybody forgot.
- 1:47:45SPEAKER_03: Everybody remembers Spider-Man.
- 1:47:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:47:47SPEAKER_03: They don't remember Peter Parker.
- 1:47:48SPEAKER_03: They hustle him backwards.
- 1:47:50SPEAKER_03: But you know who does remember uh Spider-Man is Peter Parker?
- 1:47:53SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 1:47:54SPEAKER_03: The Hulk.
- 1:47:54SPEAKER_02: Bruce Banner forgot.
- 1:47:56SPEAKER_02: But the Hulk doesn't.
- 1:47:59SPEAKER_02: Ooh.
- 1:48:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:48:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I gotta see how they play this out, man.
- 1:48:04SPEAKER_00: They could this could either go really well or it could ruin everything.
- 1:48:06SPEAKER_00: I think he fights the Hulk.
- 1:48:08SPEAKER_00: And well, he might win that.
- 1:48:11SPEAKER_00: I've seen them actually in the comic books.
- 1:48:13SPEAKER_00: It's been uh it's been a which is another problem I have.
- 1:48:15SPEAKER_00: Side note, I hate how they do the Hulk and all these different things.
- 1:48:18SPEAKER_00: Oh no, he's he's every time he fights him.
- 1:48:19SPEAKER_00: It's like, what's the point of him being this super strong guy if Spider-Man is giving him a run for his money or Wolverine?
- 1:48:25SPEAKER_00: Wolverine's giving him a run for his money or anybody.
- 1:48:28SPEAKER_00: It's like even with having them with Daniels, I was just like, Yeah, the Daniels thing ruined the character.
- 1:48:32SPEAKER_00: Y'all broke him for good.
- 1:48:33SPEAKER_00: I think um is it is Edward Norton coming back as him?
- 1:48:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because then they this is the last movie for um dude, Mark Ruffalo, right?
- 1:48:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, get him out of here.
- 1:48:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, you don't like Mark Ruffalo?
- 1:48:41SPEAKER_00: I like um him as an actor, but I don't think miscast?
- 1:48:45SPEAKER_00: I think he was miscast because I even with the romantic um play between him and Scarlett Trihanson, it just wasn't believable to me.
- 1:48:52SPEAKER_03: You know who's also a miscast that nobody wants to say?
- 1:48:54unknown: Who?
- 1:48:55SPEAKER_03: Mr.
- 1:48:55SPEAKER_03: Fantastic.
- 1:48:56SPEAKER_02: The new one?
- 1:48:59SPEAKER_00: Pedro Pascal.
- 1:49:00SPEAKER_00: They oh they're oversaturating the market with him.
- 1:49:02SPEAKER_00: That's what it is.
- 1:49:03SPEAKER_00: That was a miscast.
- 1:49:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because he's hot right now.
- 1:49:05SPEAKER_00: But he's to me, he's really nice.
- 1:49:07SPEAKER_00: Just y'all OD and like I don't want to see him all the time.
- 1:49:10SPEAKER_00: Same thing, and this is my own, like this is kind of you know a controversial take, but the same.
- 1:49:14SPEAKER_00: That's how I feel about Sunday.
- 1:49:15SPEAKER_00: You're doing too much.
- 1:49:16SPEAKER_00: Come on now, you're doing too much.
- 1:49:18SPEAKER_00: It's a black queen.
- 1:49:19SPEAKER_03: Can't do that.
- 1:49:21SPEAKER_03: Can't do that.
- 1:49:21SPEAKER_03: It's just you gotta chill.
- 1:49:22SPEAKER_03: Like every film.
- 1:49:24SPEAKER_03: I'm with you, but I can't be with you with that.
- 1:49:26SPEAKER_03: Every film.
- 1:49:26SPEAKER_03: She's literally in Spider-Man.
- 1:49:28SPEAKER_03: Spider-Man.
- 1:49:28SPEAKER_03: Doom, um, The Odyssey.
- 1:49:32SPEAKER_03: And uh, she has a drama with uh this dude.
- 1:49:34SPEAKER_03: Euphoria?
- 1:49:36SPEAKER_00: Did a film with uh Denzel Washington's son that didn't go over well.
- 1:49:39SPEAKER_00: Everyone's like that.
- 1:49:39SPEAKER_03: I liked it.
- 1:49:42SPEAKER_03: That was acting.
- 1:49:43SPEAKER_03: It was acting.
- 1:49:44SPEAKER_03: That was just pure bars.
- 1:49:46SPEAKER_03: That's like when you go to a battle rap and you're not gonna listen to it twice.
- 1:49:49SPEAKER_00: Just know me.
- 1:49:50SPEAKER_00: I'm not watching that part.
- 1:49:52SPEAKER_00: Now, am I saying she's again?
- 1:49:54SPEAKER_00: It's never about the skill.
- 1:49:55SPEAKER_00: It's just again, you oversaturate the market with the same faces, trying to force a Will Smith.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_00: Um exploit.
- 1:50:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but it's a money thing.
- 1:50:03SPEAKER_00: It is, but that's the problem.
- 1:50:04SPEAKER_00: There are so many talented actors and actresses out there who get the opportunity.
- 1:50:08SPEAKER_00: If they was to be put up uh film for film, line for line, audition for audition, a lot of them would smoke some of these people we see all the time.
- 1:50:14SPEAKER_00: I I agree.
- 1:50:15SPEAKER_00: Like Pedro Pascal, like you said, that I that's a great point.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_00: That's a not a horrible, but it's just it wasn't necessary.
- 1:50:21SPEAKER_00: Like what if we don't want we don't want him as um Mr.
- 1:50:23SPEAKER_00: Fantastic and even the lady who played the wife or I thought she was she was mid.
- 1:50:29SPEAKER_03: I liked um But it is a I liked Johnny Storm and I like the thing.
- 1:50:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, those two did their thing.
- 1:50:34SPEAKER_03: Body that no pun intended, but the movie was pretty good too.
- 1:50:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, overall it was good.
- 1:50:40SPEAKER_03: But Pascal shouldn't have been he might have been a better Doctor Doom.
- 1:50:46SPEAKER_03: I I don't like I don't like him in nervous energy.
- 1:50:49SPEAKER_03: I didn't like that.
- 1:50:50SPEAKER_03: He was good as um The Mandalorian, so he could be Doom.
- 1:50:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I liked him more as a cold guy.
- 1:50:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah emotionally.
- 1:50:57SPEAKER_03: I liked him as Joel.
- 1:50:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:50:59SPEAKER_00: Now I'm now I'm not gonna be able to look at that film the same.
- 1:51:03SPEAKER_00: Because once you say it I look at him like this could have been anyone.
- 1:51:05SPEAKER_00: It could have been somebody else.
- 1:51:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe then a guy from um, what's his name?
- 1:51:08SPEAKER_03: John Kreninsky from um Oh yeah, but they gave him a shot though.
- 1:51:12SPEAKER_03: I don't know why they didn't go back to him.
- 1:51:13SPEAKER_03: Uh huh.
- 1:51:13SPEAKER_03: They may like him.
- 1:51:14SPEAKER_00: Maybe different universe.
- 1:51:16SPEAKER_00: Uh maybe he didn't have the um availability.
- 1:51:18SPEAKER_00: Not that it could be availability, but I think also he has um he doesn't have that natural charm.
- 1:51:23SPEAKER_00: He's kind of milked toast.
- 1:51:24SPEAKER_00: A little more on the dry side, which is not bad for actors.
- 1:51:27SPEAKER_03: It's not bad for um the character.
- 1:51:30SPEAKER_03: I think it's not a charismatic dude.
- 1:51:32SPEAKER_03: The original Mr.
- 1:51:34SPEAKER_03: Fantastic.
- 1:51:35SPEAKER_03: Oh, the guy that played him originally, yeah, with uh just gal.
- 1:51:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:51:39SPEAKER_03: You would have brought him back?
- 1:51:40SPEAKER_03: I thought he was.
- 1:51:40SPEAKER_03: He did a good job.
- 1:51:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he did.
- 1:51:41SPEAKER_00: But he's our first.
- 1:51:42SPEAKER_00: He was a leader, but also a little quirky scientific guy.
- 1:51:46SPEAKER_03: I didn't buy Pedro being a quirky guy.
- 1:51:48SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:51:48SPEAKER_00: He was off.
- 1:51:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like he's supposed to be just like, isn't he like like Spanish?
- 1:51:52SPEAKER_03: So he's supposed to be like a charming guy, shaking his shoulders in every scene.
- 1:51:57SPEAKER_03: Come on, son.
- 1:51:57SPEAKER_03: She talk about like, yeah, I mean, he was yeah.
- 1:52:00SPEAKER_03: That's a great point.
- 1:52:01SPEAKER_03: Now I'm I really can't understand.
- 1:52:02SPEAKER_03: There's a lot of miscasts.
- 1:52:03SPEAKER_03: The two things I want y'all to take from this episode is Jonathan Majors in Sinners, put that in your brain, and changing out Pedro as um brother.
- 1:52:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:52:17SPEAKER_00: So Sinners redone with Jonathan Majors.
- 1:52:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:52:20SPEAKER_00: AI's gonna do it.
- 1:52:22SPEAKER_00: I'm about to I'm about to do it when I when we done.
- 1:52:25SPEAKER_00: Every line.
- 1:52:26SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna send it to you.
- 1:52:27SPEAKER_03: Every line would hit totally different.
- 1:52:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah because oh my god.
- 1:52:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that would that would have slapped that that majors delivering that?
- 1:52:34SPEAKER_00: The the the scene between stack and smoke when stack's outside is a vampire, like we was never gonna get this.
- 1:52:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like come but who didn't see it.
- 1:52:42SPEAKER_00: You want him to play um Smoke?
- 1:52:45SPEAKER_00: Who?
- 1:52:46SPEAKER_00: Um Jonathan Majors?
- 1:52:47SPEAKER_00: He could play either one.
- 1:52:48SPEAKER_00: The fact that he can play either one is nuts.
- 1:52:49SPEAKER_00: He can play either one, but I think he would have added more nuance to smoke versus what um because smoke was kind of one note ish.
- 1:52:56SPEAKER_00: He was, you know.
- 1:52:57SPEAKER_00: A little bit.
- 1:52:58SPEAKER_00: There could have been a lot more additive to the character.
- 1:53:00SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying that.
- 1:53:01SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not trying to knock Michael B.
- 1:53:03SPEAKER_00: Jordan out of it.
- 1:53:03SPEAKER_00: But his I I like seeing Michael B.
- 1:53:05SPEAKER_00: Jordan be a little bit more unhinged and a little bit more.
- 1:53:07SPEAKER_03: No, this was a great, this was his best performance.
- 1:53:10SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:53:10SPEAKER_03: This was his Magnus Elvis.
- 1:53:12SPEAKER_00: I'll give you an example as to, and I hate to do this, uh, Michael B.
- 1:53:14SPEAKER_00: Jordan, but um, even his scene, and I'll show you where he didn't have enough versatility.
- 1:53:19SPEAKER_00: He did the scene with uh with Haley, and they were about to have sex when she came back as a vampire, and she was drooling.
- 1:53:25SPEAKER_00: And he's like, baby, you drooling.
- 1:53:27SPEAKER_00: And that's where I saw Smoke a little bit.
- 1:53:28SPEAKER_03: I'm like, okay.
- 1:53:30SPEAKER_00: You could have been wild about that.
- 1:53:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, his character would have just he would have spun that a little.
- 1:53:33SPEAKER_00: He could have just licked it off of it.
- 1:53:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he would have done, yeah.
- 1:53:35SPEAKER_00: You were drooling or something.
- 1:53:36SPEAKER_00: You know, added more to who Stack is because Stack, remember, he was he was a pimp.
- 1:53:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's he's always been around.
- 1:53:42SPEAKER_00: So he's not confused about nothing like that.
- 1:53:44SPEAKER_03: The freaky shit not gonna freak him out.
- 1:53:45SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:53:46SPEAKER_03: Smoke, it would have been like so that's a small thing I'm not taking away from you.
- 1:53:52SPEAKER_03: You really an actor, bro.
- 1:53:53SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, he reminded me.
- 1:53:56SPEAKER_00: I was like, this is like very smoke.
- 1:53:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I got you to be concerned.
- 1:53:59SPEAKER_00: But anyway, shout out Michael B.
- 1:54:01SPEAKER_03: Um, I think we did it, man.
- 1:54:04SPEAKER_03: GR.
- 1:54:04SPEAKER_03: Listen, I think we did it.
- 1:54:06SPEAKER_03: This was great.
- 1:54:06SPEAKER_03: This was a great first episode.
- 1:54:08SPEAKER_03: Phenomenal.
- 1:54:08SPEAKER_03: This, you know, listen, we're gonna post it up.
- 1:54:11SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be out there on the gas money page, like I said earlier.
- 1:54:13SPEAKER_03: And then we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna set up our own shop.
- 1:54:16SPEAKER_03: All right, but at first, you know, just you build it, they'll come.
- 1:54:19SPEAKER_03: And if you have any ideas or topics, you know, just DM, you know, send some some stuff.
- 1:54:24SPEAKER_03: And if you want to be up here and talk, you know, talk movies, talk anything, we're gonna we're gonna be live in the record with you guys.
- 1:54:29SPEAKER_03: GR, what you want to tell the people, man?
- 1:54:31SPEAKER_00: Um, listen, there's more to come.
- 1:54:33SPEAKER_00: And you wanna say it or you want me to say it?
- 1:54:35SPEAKER_00: You say it.
- 1:54:37SPEAKER_00: That's a wrap.
- 1:54:38SPEAKER_03: Oh, you see?
- 1:54:39SPEAKER_03: I like that.
- 1:54:40SPEAKER_03: I like that, I like that, I like that.
- 1:54:41SPEAKER_03: I like that, I like that, I like that.
- 1:54:43SPEAKER_03: All right.
