- 0:15Speaker 1: We're gonna find out though, right, and we being neutral good,
- 0:19Speaker 1: We can be whatever kind of good you want to be, sir, chaotic,
- 0:23Speaker 1: it's your show. I only live here, so, but.
- 0:31Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 0:31Speaker 1: Everybody? I am the one, the only, the w O
- 0:34Speaker 1: O K I E joined here. We only have one
- 0:38Speaker 1: misfit today we lost all the other misfits. One's in Alaska.
- 0:43Speaker 1: One we don't know where he is. But one's in Alaska.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I don't think he's in Baltimore yet.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, now where is Yeah? What is he doing
- 0:53Speaker 2: this weekend? He's doing? He said he's already in Baltimore.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Or maybe he's checking out the bar for us.
- 1:02Speaker 1: That would make sense on how he knows where all
- 1:04Speaker 1: the good bars are. But we'll get into Baltimore in
- 1:09Speaker 1: a little bit. Today we're gonna go over We're gonna score.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Maybe he secretly.
- 1:14Speaker 1: That would be kind of cool, I guess. But today
- 1:17Speaker 1: we're gonna go over all the pointless cards. It's right,
- 1:21Speaker 1: all the anomalies. You're probably only looking for one maybe two.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I'm not sure are any of these any good?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Of these? Yes, the reprints, I was gonna say, the
- 1:35Speaker 2: two reprints. You got one of these, so you can
- 1:39Speaker 2: tell us about how pointless this card.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, was terrible. Let's start with Onto Gogy.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Not a clue is on to go onto Gogy. He's
- 1:52Speaker 1: a four power two armor alien cyborg. Play you may
- 1:56Speaker 1: graft an enemy creature onto on a Gooky. After rep
- 2:01Speaker 1: deal damage to each creature equal to the power of
- 2:04Speaker 1: the creature grafted onto onto Goky.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Actually, this card's pretty good, right, It's play creature control.
- 2:16Speaker 1: An a pip of Ember and and you get to
- 2:20Speaker 1: deal some damage. Now, it all depends on what's on
- 2:22Speaker 1: the board.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Graft isn't out of play zone, right, Yes, I'm pretty sure,
- 2:29Speaker 2: like a ward prevents a graft. Why would award prevent
- 2:35Speaker 2: a graph because board prevents moving to an out of
- 2:38Speaker 2: play zone like going to our chives are getting purged.
- 2:45Speaker 1: We need another flow chart. Yeah, I suppose it would,
- 2:52Speaker 1: but that's.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Not that important. But you know what it doesn't prevent is, uh,
- 2:56Speaker 2: it can totally a ghost formed card that.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well, because it's indestructible.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Right. Ghost form makes everything indestructible, which just can't be
- 3:10Speaker 2: destroyed or dealt damage, and this is doing neither of
- 3:13Speaker 2: those things.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Can you can bounce a ghost form card then yes.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Yep, ye can you yep?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's just indestructible. Yes, okay, well either.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Anyway, this card's pretty pretty good, like you would take
- 3:33Speaker 2: one of these and any deck you cant Plus, he's
- 3:35Speaker 2: a four to two and then he can and do
- 3:38Speaker 2: stuff afterwards. He seems like he's like a five.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I was gonna say that five. We actually agree on
- 3:43Speaker 1: something weird, so no need to go into much there.
- 3:48Speaker 1: We go into Cosmic Crux six power Dragon. Someone tells
- 3:52Speaker 1: me we might see him next set after a player
- 3:55Speaker 1: already as a creature, deal one, deal one damage to it. Yeah, yep,
- 4:05Speaker 1: he reads for an ember. He's pretty mid three according
- 4:10Speaker 1: according to the chart we have, he is. I believe
- 4:14Speaker 1: three is okay average. I think he's average.
- 4:19Speaker 2: After a player this supposed both said that just seems
- 4:25Speaker 2: weird reading after a player ready is a creature, not
- 4:28Speaker 2: not just after a creature ready, Yep, it's after a
- 4:33Speaker 2: player ready as a creature.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I just realized this goes both ways.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, this goes both ways.
- 4:41Speaker 1: This is like it this is a two now Yeah, hm, okay,
- 4:46Speaker 1: we're blowing through these. This is I thought it would
- 4:49Speaker 1: be ghost for him. You know what, you love it
- 4:52Speaker 1: the creature is in vulnerable, cannot be doubt, cannot be
- 4:55Speaker 1: destoried or doult damage.
- 4:56Speaker 2: We don't have to We don't have to redo them.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Oh you don't want to read you ghosts? For I
- 5:00Speaker 1: was gonna give ghost form a six.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Ghost form is still a six ghost form with stupid
- 5:05Speaker 2: atrocity as a seventy two.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yes, yes and yes, help from another self? Is this
- 5:14Speaker 1: bound with Omega TT? This sure is all right? So
- 5:19Speaker 1: help from another self? Search your deck and discard pile
- 5:22Speaker 1: for a variant creature, reveal it and put it into
- 5:25Speaker 1: your hand. You do get a pip of ember every
- 5:28Speaker 1: time you play it. I'm trying to get what sight
- 5:34Speaker 1: is this?
- 5:34Speaker 2: What do you have? Omega TT? Up? Yeah?
- 5:38Speaker 1: What does Mega TT do?
- 5:41Speaker 2: Omega TT is an amber pipped creature two power human variant,
- 5:48Speaker 2: and it says play purge two cards from a discard
- 5:52Speaker 2: pile action shuffle Omega TT into its owner's deck time Traveler,
- 6:01Speaker 2: but instead of cards, you get to which but it's
- 6:08Speaker 2: not in furnace. They're not losing amber. It's just purging
- 6:12Speaker 2: two cards and it's not optional, and you have to
- 6:17Speaker 2: pick one player and for two cards from it. Pete
- 6:21Speaker 2: had this the other day and was playing it. This
- 6:24Speaker 2: does not hit nearly as hard as Time Traveler. Yeah,
- 6:30Speaker 2: it's still a good card. But the fact that you
- 6:33Speaker 2: get the helpful future self help from another self Yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 2: now no, this also is not helpful futureself. It does
- 6:45Speaker 2: not shuffle your discard.
- 6:47Speaker 1: In I was just say, it doesn't shuffle anything.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah, this, I actually don't really care for this. I
- 6:57Speaker 2: don't care.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I mean, purge two cards from a disk card pile
- 6:59Speaker 1: that can be pretty powerful and.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Be pretty powerful, but the fact that you get both
- 7:04Speaker 2: of these cards, I don't actually think this is that
- 7:08Speaker 2: powerful of a pair. It's okay, it's like twos or threes.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Threes do they automatic put them as a pair, so
- 7:16Speaker 2: it gets like three if I remember right, you score
- 7:20Speaker 2: one card and then the other, and it carries like
- 7:23Speaker 2: the value for both. I don't remember when these thing was,
- 7:25Speaker 2: but these are not great.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It's a three. It's average. Okay, I'm not turning them down.
- 7:30Speaker 1: There are cards in the set that you're like, no, no,
- 7:33Speaker 1: you can hold it. You can hold onto those, and
- 7:36Speaker 1: then this is this seems like, okay, I'm not going
- 7:38Speaker 1: to turn it down. I don't think I'm searching out
- 7:42Speaker 1: for them they're good, great or I'm chasing, but they're average.
- 7:45Speaker 1: They seem fine, right. It reaps for a number, probably
- 7:49Speaker 1: because once it hits the field, it's kind of a
- 7:51Speaker 1: non threat. It it's purged two cards, it's fine. I
- 7:57Speaker 1: think it's a three.
- 8:06Speaker 2: What are you going with? Yeah? Three spot, all right,
- 8:11Speaker 2: it's a freakin They don't show up that much, so
- 8:13Speaker 2: they don't really matter.
- 8:15Speaker 1: This is also true Ignitis another dragon. Why is our
- 8:20Speaker 1: kind kind of being so slow?
- 8:22Speaker 2: It's like everyone, I don't know why you heard, Like
- 8:24Speaker 2: I see all these cards just fine.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I see them just fine too, But every time I
- 8:27Speaker 1: try to go back and forth, it doesn't want to react.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Ignitus four power one armored Dragon again another creature. I
- 8:34Speaker 1: think you'll see next set game splash attack X, where
- 8:39Speaker 1: X is the number of exhausted creatures. This seems like
- 8:47Speaker 1: exhaust It seems like poop.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Like I could ignite this card and never see it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But it's what like splash I mean I think it's
- 8:57Speaker 1: better than one. Yes, it's below app bridge, I think
- 9:00Speaker 1: because like the splash attack, what how many creatures are
- 9:03Speaker 1: you going to?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Actually?
- 9:03Speaker 1: I mean I guess we don't know what the next
- 9:05Speaker 1: set is. But how many creatures are you actually going
- 9:07Speaker 1: to have exhausted?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard rumors there's a lot of exhaustion in
- 9:14Speaker 2: the new set. It's gonna be super lame and boring.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm so excited. Yeah, we agree upon a two and
- 9:24Speaker 1: move to info. Well, we don't need to go in
- 9:26Speaker 1: answer right.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Back, same craft.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It always was still not good, still not great, a
- 9:34Speaker 1: little slow, Yeah, and then a lateral Shift is back
- 9:39Speaker 1: that still stays a six.
- 9:40Speaker 2: That card's bonkers.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That card is bananas.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Although like lateral shift as an anomaly rare, But then
- 9:46Speaker 2: they put in the Shadows one that like, lets you
- 9:50Speaker 2: look at the top three cards of their deck in
- 9:52Speaker 2: play one, or there's now just a Saurian wild word
- 9:56Speaker 2: hold the top of their deck, Like lateral Shift just
- 9:59Speaker 2: has company now, and those cars have pips on them too.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I still like lateral Shift is still a six.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Weel Shift is still a memeless is back in his zac.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Everyone's favorite Nizak is to be forgotten.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Oh man, at least days a one perfect the constant.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I was lucky enough to get this this anomaly this
- 10:26Speaker 1: week in our sealed event, you do get a pip
- 10:29Speaker 1: a vember for your sorrow. Each player skips their draw
- 10:33Speaker 1: cards step at the start of your turn, remove a
- 10:37Speaker 1: time counter from the constant, then destroy it. If there
- 10:40Speaker 1: are no time counters on it, play put two time
- 10:44Speaker 1: counters on the constant.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Okay, put two times counters on it. Yeah, then you
- 10:50Speaker 2: skip your draws. You skip your draw step. Then your
- 10:54Speaker 2: opponent has a bigger hand and you didn't drop, which
- 10:58Speaker 2: is whatever. And then your opponent skips their draw step okay,
- 11:01Speaker 2: and then it loses a time counter. You skip, they skip,
- 11:07Speaker 2: so you both skipped too, and then it loses the
- 11:08Speaker 2: time counter and.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Then okay, then you finally get to fill. This card sucks.
- 11:14Speaker 1: This card is that you don't.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Draw first, or like you lose the draw first. Seems
- 11:23Speaker 2: it's terrible counter intuitive. It is off good. This is
- 11:27Speaker 2: a zero. This is a zero. If I I like like,
- 11:31Speaker 2: I was like, okay, let's see how this card plays.
- 11:34Speaker 2: The only thing it did it get it gave uh
- 11:37Speaker 2: mister perfect information to be like, Oh, so I got
- 11:40Speaker 2: to stretch my cards out and got to basically just
- 11:45Speaker 2: do what he wanted to do because he knew he
- 11:47Speaker 2: had to stretch his cards out for the next two turns. Oh,
- 11:51Speaker 2: but you know you have to stretch your cards out too.
- 11:53Speaker 2: This is true, but like, I mean, I agree this
- 11:58Speaker 2: card is bad, and I don't while I don't see
- 12:03Speaker 2: why slowly the game down in this manner is good,
- 12:08Speaker 2: Like where is this good? Like if you have this
- 12:11Speaker 2: stack and you have for of those exhaust and draw
- 12:17Speaker 2: so you can still be drawing.
- 12:19Speaker 1: His idea was like, you have a dominant board and
- 12:23Speaker 1: then you just don't let them play cards. I'm like,
- 12:25Speaker 1: well they still like it doesn't really stop much like yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I get to reap. I just I don't see where
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm making fold. But you also have to have the
- 12:35Speaker 1: dominant board, which is not really a guarantee. And this
- 12:39Speaker 1: this card was terrible. I hated it. It's a zero.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So let's see here the new anomalies, another graft, one
- 12:48Speaker 2: where they actually made it good. There's a lot of ground,
- 12:50Speaker 2: but also kind of confusing. A bad dragon who deals
- 12:57Speaker 2: damage for readying, ignite us, who errs about being things exhausted,
- 13:02Speaker 2: the concept that just us, we're not actually drawing cards,
- 13:04Speaker 2: we're slowing the game down. And wait, what's this next
- 13:07Speaker 2: piece of joke?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Oh thermal depletion play, Oh why don't we give in
- 13:12Speaker 1: the constant one zero I gave it a zero. I
- 13:14Speaker 1: would I would run away from this card, like, this
- 13:18Speaker 1: is a discard for me almost all the time.
- 13:22Speaker 2: All right, So you're gonna give it a zero. I'm
- 13:24Speaker 2: gonna e walk this one. I'm giving it a one
- 13:27Speaker 2: because it has an amber pit. They give it a two.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Thermal depletion says play until the start of your next turn,
- 13:33Speaker 1: creatures cannot ready. So your creatures don't ready, and then
- 13:42Speaker 1: their creatures are already, and then you're like, we've had
- 13:45Speaker 1: this card, except it's only their creatures don't ready, and
- 13:48Speaker 1: this is terrible because you lose two activations with it
- 13:52Speaker 1: because your creatures don't ready at the end of your
- 13:54Speaker 1: ready step, then their's don't ready, and then you're still
- 13:58Speaker 1: without creatures at the start of your style.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well, but so is your opponent. Like it's it's
- 14:03Speaker 2: the same burden for both of you. But we've already
- 14:06Speaker 2: had this card, I'm pretty sure with an amber pip
- 14:09Speaker 2: and only prevents your opponents from writing this card blow
- 14:14Speaker 2: hard enough. This is another zero for me. I mean, like,
- 14:18Speaker 2: if you don't have creatures, this card gets a little better.
- 14:21Speaker 2: But also, no amber pip. I'm with you, this card
- 14:24Speaker 2: is bad.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Bad yeah, zero one okay, and then time quakes back.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, never did much Taroc He's new create previewed, right,
- 14:47Speaker 2: but was he previewed?
- 14:48Speaker 1: I don't remember six power Dragon sage. After we choose
- 14:53Speaker 1: a creature until the start of your next turn, that
- 14:56Speaker 1: creature gains in vulnerable. It cannot be dealt damage or destroyed,
- 15:00Speaker 1: but it can be bounced.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Okay, he's okay, he's big, he's got a good reep effect.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I feel like he's average, maybe a little above average.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I think he's a three perfect. We did that in
- 15:19Speaker 1: record times. See how easy this is. And we all
- 15:25Speaker 1: agreed because we don't have a wok here. This was
- 15:28Speaker 1: an amazing all right, that was here?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Good night everybody? Here, ah here, here are These were
- 15:35Speaker 2: not already populated into the sheet we score on.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Oh really, I had to add them.
- 15:40Speaker 2: So I added them as antigogie Okay, sucky dragon, sucky dragon. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 2: that's failed traveler, Yeah, fail dragon, yeah, constantly lame burn
- 15:55Speaker 2: me please, and Tarak sounds good to me that that's
- 16:00Speaker 2: the rename of these cards. They're like prophecies. These are
- 16:03Speaker 2: like that's I have. I've turned these into prophecy names.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Well, you and I did we did? We tried prophetic vision,
- 16:14Speaker 1: sealed alliance. I feel like your night was a little
- 16:18Speaker 1: better than mine by a letter. I mean a lot.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I got. It was bad enough. I don't remember already.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I got much of nothing. I've come to love the gopher.
- 16:36Speaker 1: That's about it. But let me tell you I'm not
- 16:40Speaker 1: a huge fan of this. You have to use the prophecy.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You have to use the pair of prophecies from one
- 16:53Speaker 1: of the deck.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Like you automatically, like, go to the exactly what I
- 16:59Speaker 2: told you would never be the rules, And you're like,
- 17:01Speaker 2: those should be the rules, they should be. That's never No,
- 17:05Speaker 2: that's never going to be the rules. Why.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I don't understand what's the reasoning beyond it.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Because it just adds another layer of complexity that somebody
- 17:17Speaker 2: asks to sit there and validate.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So I had said that you should be able to
- 17:21Speaker 1: use whatever prophecy you want from from you know, obviously,
- 17:27Speaker 1: because the rule with wall was you had to use
- 17:33Speaker 1: you had to use one of the tokens from one
- 17:35Speaker 1: of the decks that you used. You couldn't take one
- 17:38Speaker 1: from one deck that you couldn't use. But now you
- 17:40Speaker 1: have to take the pair from one of the decks
- 17:43Speaker 1: you use, but you're not able to take like this
- 17:45Speaker 1: prophecy from this deck and this prophecy from this deck.
- 17:49Speaker 1: And I guess the big thing was is they didn't
- 17:51Speaker 1: want doubling up of prophecies, which is fine. You just
- 17:55Speaker 1: say you can't double up on a prophecy. I think
- 17:59Speaker 1: that's I think that's easy enough to say you may
- 18:01Speaker 1: pick one prophecy from each you may not, you may
- 18:05Speaker 1: not repeat prophecies.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Players couldn't even handle picking a token from a deck
- 18:13Speaker 2: from a pond they use it without throwing that fault.
- 18:18Speaker 2: You're right, it's not your fault. But the people who
- 18:22Speaker 2: have to make the tournament rules have to deal with
- 18:24Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I mean, I I guess I I I did not
- 18:33Speaker 1: find any of what you just told me difficult.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I mean, I I'm with you. What I think we
- 18:39Speaker 2: should be able to do is take all of the
- 18:41Speaker 2: prophecy cards we have and we get to make to
- 18:43Speaker 2: two sided prophecies by putting him into sleeves. You play
- 18:47Speaker 2: with any too you want, like I'm and you can't
- 18:49Speaker 2: have any duplicates. Like I'm with you. I think that's
- 18:51Speaker 2: what we should have done with them. But that was
- 18:54Speaker 2: never going to be the case, and you know, god
- 18:56Speaker 2: honest truth. Even doing that, it doesn't really matter because
- 19:01Speaker 2: so many of the profecis are so bad. Well that's
- 19:05Speaker 2: the point. Like, but you get you get six bad
- 19:08Speaker 2: prophecy cards in three deaths, and it doesn't matter if
- 19:11Speaker 2: you even have choice, because they're all bad. But I
- 19:14Speaker 2: could either got a good one and you're gonna pick
- 19:16Speaker 2: that pod, or you got trick like.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It, because like I really feel like there's only a
- 19:21Speaker 1: handful of good prophecies, Like that's it. I feel like
- 19:26Speaker 1: you need the trust your feelings.
- 19:31Speaker 2: What is it?
- 19:32Speaker 1: The early bird was one? It's okay, I like the
- 19:37Speaker 1: early bird. Yes, trust your feeling. Science point which one was?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Science point to Yes, that's the one you're on check right.
- 19:47Speaker 2: To do?
- 19:48Speaker 1: I don't hold on, let me oh, science point to Yes.
- 19:51Speaker 1: At the end of your opponent's turn, if they have
- 19:53Speaker 1: the if they have ember and their pull equal to
- 19:56Speaker 1: or greater than the current key cost fulfill, yeah, that's fine.
- 20:01Speaker 1: But like all the other prophecies are just straight garbage.
- 20:05Speaker 1: And if you can't find out that's what I told you.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I'm not disagreeing with you, but it's just a terrible experience.
- 20:13Speaker 1: If you don't get one of those.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Yes, that's that's PV. And then and then you get them,
- 20:19Speaker 2: and then all your prophecies are pointless or your fake
- 20:21Speaker 2: cards are pointless, so it didn't matter anyways. And then
- 20:25Speaker 2: your opponent's sitting over there with all the good ones
- 20:27Speaker 2: and you're just like this, this is not fair, and
- 20:30Speaker 2: you're having the x Ray experience.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah, x Ray, I can't.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I can't. You know, it's like they have if I
- 20:37Speaker 2: play creatures and you know, one of the other good ones,
- 20:40Speaker 2: the house one of the house calling ones, and then
- 20:43Speaker 2: you're just like, I can't not do these things and
- 20:48Speaker 2: get to a winning game state. And then every time
- 20:51Speaker 2: you play a creature, they just have to destroyer purject
- 20:54Speaker 2: card and you're just like, this is fantastic. So then
- 20:59Speaker 2: you're answer as well, I gotta like wait until I
- 21:02Speaker 2: have two creatures so I can play the bad one
- 21:04Speaker 2: first and then play the good one second. And you're
- 21:09Speaker 2: so disrupted you're dead.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, this is what you have to look forward to
- 21:16Speaker 1: come to Baltimore.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we haven't hit those houses with the really crazy fads.
- 21:22Speaker 2: So on our seal, it was a bunch of decent games.
- 21:25Speaker 2: And then Sydney had trunks and just drunked people.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that car is. That's another card that seems like
- 21:35Speaker 1: it wasn't properly play tested.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah, or like it got reworded somewhere wrong.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to find it right now, because it's basically
- 21:51Speaker 1: you get to wipe either wipe all the ember off
- 21:53Speaker 1: of a creature and put it back to the common supply,
- 21:57Speaker 1: or you get the most powerful creature captures all your
- 22:01Speaker 1: opponent's amber. Yeah, which is the most powerful creature which
- 22:06Speaker 1: can be your opponents.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yes, yes, exactly, And that that one is interesting in that,
- 22:12Speaker 2: like this is not one of those cards where it's
- 22:16Speaker 2: always it's always good. Either you capture all their amber
- 22:18Speaker 2: and it's it's they're not forging, or it's even a
- 22:23Speaker 2: thousand times better. It's freaking super Tribute plus exile all
- 22:28Speaker 2: in one, right, Like it's just like here's all your
- 22:31Speaker 2: ember and your creature. Ah yeah, yeah, it's dumb and
- 22:35Speaker 2: another one, y know, they're just pointing out in our
- 22:37Speaker 2: chat the value of cover fire versus EP right ep
- 22:44Speaker 2: traditional decent amber control card of each player loses half
- 22:48Speaker 2: their amber rounding down and you get a change. Oh no,
- 22:52Speaker 2: let's just make a common card in Shadows called cover
- 22:54Speaker 2: Fire that says your opponent loses half their amber and
- 22:58Speaker 2: then you steal one. Yeah, lose half and you steal one.
- 23:03Speaker 2: And it's a common that comes in multiples, and it
- 23:06Speaker 2: doesn't have the chain that EP has. You don't lose
- 23:09Speaker 2: your amber. It's just a no. You're thinking of Hoodwink,
- 23:15Speaker 2: which steals for each non Shadows card in your hand.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, which is an uncommon. Also it's just a
- 23:21Speaker 2: pretty good card. Now cover Fire is just a regular
- 23:23Speaker 2: O common says your opponent loses half their amber, rounding
- 23:29Speaker 2: down period, steal one. Yeah, I don't.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I don't understand that.
- 23:35Speaker 2: No chain, right not you lose half, they lose half
- 23:39Speaker 2: and you steal one or something like. They're just like,
- 23:41Speaker 2: you know, EP Wasp slowed this game down, wasn't But
- 23:46Speaker 2: now cover Fire just like the fact that you lose
- 23:50Speaker 2: nothing in this exchange is just seems crazy.
- 23:56Speaker 1: They have reworded a bunch of like Shadows cards too,
- 24:00Speaker 1: because a bunch of them don't say steal anymore. They
- 24:03Speaker 1: say your opponent has to pay you.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah, there's pay and lose and stuff. Yep. Just like
- 24:09Speaker 2: the logos cards don't say draw, they say put in
- 24:12Speaker 2: your hand like it's so weird. And then there's then
- 24:17Speaker 2: there's the bad prophecies that player off drawing and stealing,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and then these cards don't actually draw or steal anymore.
- 24:25Speaker 2: They get around the prophecies.
- 24:28Speaker 1: A good time. It's I was trying to we were
- 24:32Speaker 1: talking about that one. I thought it was a logos
- 24:35Speaker 1: or a shadows card. Maybe it wasn't. What's the card
- 24:39Speaker 1: that like, you don't every time you play a card,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you have to your opponent has to carfiers.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Not limited one.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's that. Yeah, covenous idol. No, no, that's
- 24:57Speaker 1: not it. That's not it. That's not it.
- 25:00Speaker 2: It just it says every time your opponent plays a
- 25:02Speaker 2: card during the next and steal one.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Right, No, no, they discard a card every time you
- 25:11Speaker 1: play it all. Oh, yeah, you play a card discard
- 25:15Speaker 1: d treachery artifact.
- 25:19Speaker 2: That's also some crazy stuff. Yeah, curse loute.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I don't know how good I feel like this is
- 25:23Speaker 1: the because once they have no cards, you get rid
- 25:27Speaker 1: of it.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Yeah. But so when you have a three two hand, right,
- 25:32Speaker 2: and you know, like I play my first card and
- 25:36Speaker 2: I guess it's some random and then I play my
- 25:39Speaker 2: second card and it discards the third card from that house,
- 25:41Speaker 2: I still have a card in hand and I'm done, yep,
- 25:45Speaker 2: Like because like it, it has a chance of discarding
- 25:50Speaker 2: the same house it made. You may just be stuck
- 25:53Speaker 2: with that card for a real long time.
- 25:56Speaker 1: And I guess Atrocity War We're just gonna rename him
- 26:00Speaker 1: war Crimes does exist.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah, there are the the ability to unrespondable kind of
- 26:10Speaker 2: bonkers news of the really good cards in this set
- 26:14Speaker 2: are what makes it feel bad because you didn't open
- 26:20Speaker 2: a deck with any of the stuff and your opponent
- 26:23Speaker 2: has and you're just like, what do you what do you?
- 26:27Speaker 2: What do you even do? You just go, yep, yeah,
- 26:30Speaker 2: you got way better cards than I did. And it's
- 26:35Speaker 2: you know, like we're using a one to six scale
- 26:38Speaker 2: based off of Chase, but on like a ARC or
- 26:42Speaker 2: a saff style scale, like like the difference in value
- 26:46Speaker 2: of some of these cards is like like the good
- 26:49Speaker 2: cards are like tens, you know, and the average cards
- 26:54Speaker 2: were playing with their threes and fours, but then there's
- 26:56Speaker 2: these ten value cards that show up and deck and
- 27:00Speaker 2: it only takes one or two tens to just totally
- 27:04Speaker 2: swing again.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yeah, Turn one Atrocity is pretty brutal.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I mean, I just I don't even like trying to
- 27:12Speaker 2: deal with a troscity. I'm just like, I'm just gonna
- 27:13Speaker 2: let it happen, see what goes on. I almost I
- 27:19Speaker 2: almost pulled off a steal the atrocity with some sorying creature.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I had the fight and then you after fight, you
- 27:29Speaker 2: put the top card from the discard into play on
- 27:32Speaker 2: your side, so it's gonna be able to fight the atrocity.
- 27:35Speaker 2: And then I had my own scut them to put
- 27:38Speaker 2: on it. That would have fun.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Yeah, to give it so it doesn't forget.
- 27:44Speaker 2: To deal with once it gets yeah, like and there
- 27:46Speaker 2: is somebody's talk about it. Apparently there is a atrocity
- 27:50Speaker 2: scut them whatever stupid card is, I'm already out of it.
- 28:01Speaker 2: You're already out of it, ghost warm atrocity scutam decks.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Oh sweet. So you can't deal with damage and it's
- 28:09Speaker 1: super big and it's just hard to deal with cool.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I was gonna say, we can talk a little bit
- 28:14Speaker 1: about Portland, but they haven't released an article for Portland yet.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Wow, I mean, didn't we already talk about Portland a
- 28:23Speaker 2: little bit?
- 28:24Speaker 1: We did, but we didn't really get into like we
- 28:25Speaker 1: didn't get to get into the deck breakdowns and whatnot.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well, so I think Paris is going on right now,
- 28:33Speaker 2: and Para sealed, Para sealed Finish, it was PV, it
- 28:38Speaker 2: was PV over there.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's almost, say it's almost we've probably well for sure, probably.
- 28:49Speaker 2: For sure.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Probably that makes okay, We'll just say, well, we'll run
- 28:54Speaker 1: with it, because I didn't think we heard anything about
- 28:56Speaker 1: it was going to be it was. I haven't seen
- 29:00Speaker 1: anything announced, but I believe it is likely. I mean,
- 29:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be. They pretty much, Well,
- 29:08Speaker 1: hold on, when did they because the TRG was just
- 29:11Speaker 1: on the first All these are just updates. Never mind
- 29:15Speaker 1: it was June nineteenth, was the official update.
- 29:18Speaker 2: No, it's definitely legal for there. It's also legal for
- 29:22Speaker 2: Paris and some interesting things in there. They had a
- 29:27Speaker 2: so Paris was scheduled differently. Right on Friday, they ran
- 29:32Speaker 2: pretty much the whole Lions tournament. They did. They ran
- 29:35Speaker 2: all Thellians on Friday, and then they ran Sealed Alliance Saturday,
- 29:40Speaker 2: and then Sunday is ARCA, right, that's how they're running it.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So they had thirty eight people play in Alliance and
- 29:51Speaker 2: I saw in the Paris somebody's like, oh, look at
- 29:54Speaker 2: Alliance getting that show, and it's like, yeah, that's what
- 29:56Speaker 2: happens when you don't compete it against something else like
- 30:00Speaker 2: Keyfards you.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Can play, right. We saw that, We saw what it
- 30:05Speaker 1: was a stacked event. Everyone played it.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yeah, right, that's that's what happens because it's the only
- 30:11Speaker 2: key Fords to play. You give them any other option
- 30:14Speaker 2: and it's going to not have some players.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Well here anyways, here's your official TRG clarification update for
- 30:21Speaker 1: those of you wondering. Okay, the official tournament rules governed
- 30:25Speaker 1: this YadA YadA TRG does several things. It describes the
- 30:29Speaker 1: roles at a keyboards event, outlies code of conduct which
- 30:32Speaker 1: participants must adhere, specific materials players must provide. Just reading
- 30:36Speaker 1: the article word for word again pretty much. Ghost Galaxies
- 30:39Speaker 1: updated the TRG on June nineteenth, twenty twenty five, to
- 30:43Speaker 1: make the upcoming Keyboards Prophetic visions legal for tournament play.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And listening to the community comments and reading the document,
- 30:50Speaker 1: we noticed that an important clarification about prophecy cards in
- 30:54Speaker 1: the Alliance sealed formats was missing from the update upload document.
- 30:59Speaker 1: We have updated the document. To the correct version because
- 31:02Speaker 1: the clarification was intended to be included in the June
- 31:04Speaker 1: nineteenth update, is considered to have the same effect and date,
- 31:08Speaker 1: therefore effective immediately. And that was that was just how
- 31:12Speaker 1: to pick them, right, let's backdate it. Yep, so the
- 31:17Speaker 1: way you pick prophecies is effective immediately. And then I
- 31:21Speaker 1: guess July first was the official release of Prophetic Visions?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Does this even matter anymore? July eighteenth, uh eighteenth? Yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 1: it was the official official twenty twenty five release. Does
- 31:37Speaker 1: this even matter anymore? Does what people actually care about
- 31:41Speaker 1: the official release anymore?
- 31:42Speaker 2: Now? Nobody cares? Because I mean people, like if you
- 31:47Speaker 2: follow people online, people online still have this like, well,
- 31:53Speaker 2: it can't be legal until it's released the store, because
- 31:57Speaker 2: well that's how some other game did it. It's like,
- 31:59Speaker 2: but that's never been the roles with key forde. So
- 32:01Speaker 2: why would I mean, like people, but people still have
- 32:04Speaker 2: this like assumption that like until it's retail release happens,
- 32:09Speaker 2: that stuff isn't legal. But that's this is not how
- 32:13Speaker 2: key ford works. It has never worked that way. You know,
- 32:17Speaker 2: they did they have actually they did actually add it
- 32:21Speaker 2: to the TRG whatever to trgs ago where there was
- 32:26Speaker 2: you know, like it has to be in this list
- 32:28Speaker 2: and it's effective fourteen days after we've made this thing.
- 32:32Speaker 2: But up until that, to trg's ago, there was nothing
- 32:36Speaker 2: about set legality in anything. It was legal, and there
- 32:46Speaker 2: was nothing. Was there even anything that specifically said like
- 32:53Speaker 2: Menagerie wasn't tournament legal. I don't know if it was.
- 32:57Speaker 2: That would be funny to go back and look.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I think that stated that Menagerie wasn't legal.
- 33:03Speaker 2: But I don't know if it was in the TRG
- 33:07Speaker 2: like we all understood it was not a problem. But
- 33:11Speaker 2: you know, just from my technicality thing, I wonder if
- 33:14Speaker 2: it was it. I don't remember.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Why did you this sooner? I would have bought a
- 33:18Speaker 1: I would have bottom Anagerie deck could be like show
- 33:21Speaker 1: me where it says that, yeah, show me, Oh you
- 33:24Speaker 1: don't have one, and guess you have to let me
- 33:26Speaker 1: play it.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not how the rules set in this works.
- 33:32Speaker 1: That's not how anything. Yes, and then uh, yeah, we
- 33:37Speaker 1: got our fine, do we when do we get this?
- 33:39Speaker 1: June twenty seventh, they released an article for KEYBOARDE Celebration.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but going back to Paris, so they ran Alliance
- 33:50Speaker 2: thirty eight players two of the top eight decks were
- 33:54Speaker 2: PV nice in a thirty in a thirty eight player field,
- 33:58Speaker 2: and apparently they were built like on site or the
- 34:03Speaker 2: day before, from freshly open stuff. So it wasn't even
- 34:07Speaker 2: like tried and true.
- 34:09Speaker 1: It was just well, I wonder how many Well I
- 34:12Speaker 1: don't know because we didn't really follow Paris all too much, oops.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Have you.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I don't know how much they knew before they were coming.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Did they know like this will be new? Well, like
- 34:26Speaker 1: because like, okay, so a lot of the time. So
- 34:27Speaker 1: we came into Roseville right and we knew, okay, this
- 34:31Speaker 1: day will be sealed, and then they.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Had announced what their event schedule.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Was they did Okay, I didn't know. Again, I wasn't
- 34:38Speaker 1: paying attention because like we we were on pittons and needles, like, oh,
- 34:42Speaker 1: are they going to stack them? Are they going to
- 34:44Speaker 1: do how are they going to do it? Because I
- 34:46Speaker 1: knew they didn't have enough players too. It was done
- 34:49Speaker 1: and sorted like it had been announced. It was Day
- 34:52Speaker 1: one is alliance, Day two is sealed, Day three as
- 34:54Speaker 1: arka okay, because we we we never know until we
- 34:58Speaker 1: get there. Sometimes it feels like they were kind of
- 35:01Speaker 1: like oh because then they did that.
- 35:03Speaker 2: What Well, that's only because the player count was so small.
- 35:08Speaker 2: They also were doing a much better job if you'd
- 35:12Speaker 2: been paying attention. In the Paris chat, we were getting
- 35:15Speaker 2: updates in there of approximate tickets sold, so we knew
- 35:18Speaker 2: there were enough players coming that it didn't matter anymore.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I'm still gotta buy my ticket to Baltimore.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Oops.
- 35:25Speaker 1: If I do that now, Huh.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I don't think they're going to tell you. No. I
- 35:29Speaker 2: don't think they would either. But yeah, that was interesting.
- 35:32Speaker 2: It was PV but ultimately harmed with g R with
- 35:38Speaker 2: a cult Bria Walck of some sort pulled out the
- 35:43Speaker 2: vault tour win and then uh infected virus virus infection,
- 35:49Speaker 2: virus infection won, the sealed. I don't know what shenanigans
- 35:53Speaker 2: he was running. And arc On is tomorrow, so who
- 35:56Speaker 2: knows what's happening there, but it will be the first
- 35:58Speaker 2: TV arc on fields, so we will see.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Oh, here it is. I was like, wait, no, this
- 36:05Speaker 1: is is it games and stuff? That where I'm looking
- 36:09Speaker 1: for Baltimore is games and stuff? Yeah, Baltimore, Maryland. Okay,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I'm not up. I'm not up to date on all
- 36:19Speaker 1: this stuff.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I've never.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I have never traveled outside of I guess Roosevelt to
- 36:25Speaker 1: ever do anything like this, So it's been my first time.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I gotta walk into how we just assume.
- 36:32Speaker 2: You're an adult and you can figure it out.
- 36:34Speaker 1: And I need supervision.
- 36:36Speaker 2: So let me tell you, we don't have EWA, so
- 36:42Speaker 2: there will be no supervision.
- 36:44Speaker 1: No, what do we what are we gonna do? Well,
- 36:48Speaker 1: we're gonna have fun. I don't know what you're gonna do.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I get lost, I might get lost. Who's gonna make
- 36:56Speaker 1: sure I'm where I'm supposed to be? This is terrible?
- 37:01Speaker 2: You? Yeah me? So I still can't reorder PV even
- 37:09Speaker 2: for the eighteenth. That's annoying.
- 37:13Speaker 1: That's fun. But we got Baltimore Predictions. I want to
- 37:18Speaker 1: get the chat involved in this one because we have
- 37:21Speaker 1: two people in the chat that are extraordinarily voistreous about
- 37:26Speaker 1: what they think is going to happen. So we'll start
- 37:30Speaker 1: with sealed. Who's what's gonna win? Sealed?
- 37:35Speaker 2: Will it be?
- 37:35Speaker 1: Will it be prophetic visions? I think it will be.
- 37:39Speaker 2: That's kind of kind of the choice. I know it was.
- 37:42Speaker 2: It was.
- 37:42Speaker 1: It was just a joke, Okay, So.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Will it be Shadows sanctum diss or will it be
- 37:50Speaker 2: soorium sanctum.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Logos mm hmm. I feel like neither is the correct answer.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Oh man, they still asked me what tournament I'm playing in.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I will play and sealed and I am undecided.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Whatever makes your life difficult.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna play. If I'm being honest, like,
- 38:20Speaker 1: it's still got time to uh, you know, make up
- 38:25Speaker 1: my mind, which I really haven't yet and confirmed.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm I mean, I just just TRNK. It'sr
- 38:36Speaker 2: t r e n.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Kid Shrink's uh tranks. It's not his chat what is it?
- 38:43Speaker 2: It's his creed Trnk's creed and it has an amber
- 38:48Speaker 2: pip on it too, just to add.
- 38:50Speaker 1: That, just to add a little bit more into it.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to see they really did they even this?
- 38:56Speaker 1: When they took up the number, they just gave me
- 38:59Speaker 1: an order numbers, So I don't know how many people
- 39:01Speaker 1: are there.
- 39:04Speaker 2: I mean, I feel obligated to play n No Alliance
- 39:15Speaker 2: because I don't have because I don't have that trophy.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Interesting, I've already done the other two. You're just trying
- 39:25Speaker 1: to collect the trophies.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yeah, go for you could play Unill have to hook
- 39:31Speaker 2: me up.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I I kind of want to play Alliance too,
- 39:36Speaker 1: although I really don't have a reason to play Alliance.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I'm only going like things. Is it weird we're only
- 39:42Speaker 1: going The real reason we're all going is Sealed?
- 39:47Speaker 2: Is that strange? That's like?
- 39:50Speaker 1: That's that that seems like the trophy to win? I
- 39:54Speaker 1: really I really couldn't. I really could not care less
- 39:58Speaker 1: about you.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Very excited to win.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Either, but I feel I feel like the real prize
- 40:05Speaker 1: is the sealed. That's that's I really feel like that.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I mean, I I would be stoked to win, but
- 40:16Speaker 1: you know, I'm I'm I'm really good at taking second place,
- 40:20Speaker 1: as I've proven again well now that.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Second place is valuable. Hasn't been getting there second place?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Second place is good enough.
- 40:32Speaker 1: That's what they call me, good old Wookie, just good enough.
- 40:37Speaker 2: It was better than what I used to be, which
- 40:38Speaker 2: was not quite good enough.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Not quite good enough. So what set will we take?
- 40:44Speaker 2: Arkan R.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I'm still going with GR, still taking GR and what's
- 40:55Speaker 1: gonna win? Alliance? No idea great super I actually don't
- 41:07Speaker 1: know either, AOA. That's what I'm going with AOA is
- 41:10Speaker 1: gonna win alliance PV PV. Oh man, you're giving into
- 41:19Speaker 1: the haters because right now x Ray can't like PV
- 41:25Speaker 1: is x Ray's boogeyman, right he cannot seem to beat
- 41:29Speaker 1: it with a deck that I don't even know if
- 41:32Speaker 1: it's good enough to take to a Vault tour.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Yes, that deck is good enough to take to a
- 41:36Speaker 2: vault tour. You keep looking at l don't you even
- 41:40Speaker 2: talk about.
- 41:40Speaker 1: De good enough to go to a I am a weird,
- 41:43Speaker 1: degenerate player.
- 41:44Speaker 2: What decker?
- 41:46Speaker 1: What deck do you think he's talking about.
- 41:48Speaker 2: He's talking about his stupid dual artifact deck.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think that's good. But it's slow.
- 41:58Speaker 2: You guys need to relearn what slow is.
- 42:04Speaker 1: This is as slow as slow walk when you land yeah,
- 42:11Speaker 1: when you you have to land it though, but it doesn't.
- 42:15Speaker 2: That's how disruption and control works. You land it, then
- 42:19Speaker 2: you win. It's fine that it's not as fast.
- 42:24Speaker 1: And like I told him, well while you're still trying
- 42:27Speaker 1: to land it, I'm being paired against my next opponent
- 42:29Speaker 1: opponent with my GR deck maybe more than I mean. Yeah,
- 42:35Speaker 1: if you if you land it fast.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Your your current GR deck is like a coin flip
- 42:40Speaker 2: on if it even fires just for you.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I don't have a current ale are current?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Uh like real art?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Conduck? Like? I have al and that's it and it
- 42:54Speaker 1: is a one trick pony, my friend. If you don't know,
- 43:00Speaker 1: I have a deck named L E E L H.
- 43:05Speaker 1: It is a double key abduction. Uh, double key abduction?
- 43:09Speaker 1: Is it vodka? Is that what it is? Yeah, it's vodka.
- 43:14Speaker 1: And if you lose the end here somewhere with one
- 43:17Speaker 1: of the two UFOs that said the deck, it is fucked.
- 43:21Speaker 2: It is in tough, tough cookies, and it is a
- 43:25Speaker 2: delicate deck to play.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Yes and somehow it's a ninety seven sass. I'm not
- 43:31Speaker 1: really one hundred percent sure how And that is probably
- 43:35Speaker 1: my best deck at the moment I have. I still
- 43:38Speaker 1: don't understand monstro gen at a hundred of Why it's
- 43:40Speaker 1: at one hundred and three? And what makes it one hundred?
- 43:42Speaker 2: Why? Why do you believe in sas? Why are you
- 43:45Speaker 2: even looking at this number?
- 43:47Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe I should put all my trust
- 43:51Speaker 1: trust my feelings.
- 43:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know. I don't know because I can't read.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I still like, I still like foxfire though, but that's
- 44:06Speaker 1: another one trick, pony.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I don't know what a fox fire is. That's it's
- 44:10Speaker 2: als like lame you O card.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Double junk, double veil, bunch of the Mets.
- 44:17Speaker 2: It doesn't. Sorry, do we got anything else?
- 44:19Speaker 1: So?
- 44:20Speaker 2: Uh, Baltimore, go to Baltimore.
- 44:22Speaker 1: We'll see all there. Uh, probably no episode next week.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Sorry about episode last week. We did redemption. Last week
- 44:29Speaker 1: we found out they sucked really bad, like really bad,
- 44:36Speaker 1: like really bad.
- 44:39Speaker 2: I don't I don't think there was a redemption card
- 44:42Speaker 2: that got us six.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Mmmm, well we didn't you. I believe you did all
- 44:50Speaker 1: of the like.
- 44:53Speaker 2: You like, what did you do?
- 44:55Speaker 1: Did you?
- 44:58Speaker 2: The only card we agreed to liking was an agamegas
- 45:04Speaker 2: yes agabus, which is makes amber. But the fate is
- 45:09Speaker 2: and I there's another thing I experienced this. I played
- 45:13Speaker 2: against a double edgiemegas deck and just that fate of
- 45:19Speaker 2: freaking clearing your board clears boards because it says destroy
- 45:23Speaker 2: all down muting creatures under fate, So the timing can
- 45:27Speaker 2: be just brutal. You called your house, your whole house
- 45:30Speaker 2: just disappeared off board, and now you're looking at a
- 45:32Speaker 2: handle like one card because you're five logos creatures just
- 45:36Speaker 2: died and and you get a little second. Yeah, still
- 45:40Speaker 2: a lot sad.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Maybe I should fire another try.
- 45:44Speaker 2: That's where some of these fates are just still disruptive,
- 45:47Speaker 2: is because when they trigger is at a timing window
- 45:51Speaker 2: that maximally disrupts you.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I keep looking. Maybe I should give fox
- 45:58Speaker 1: fire another try. I don't know.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Okay, it's an interesting deck.
- 46:02Speaker 1: It's just it's got a lot of I still have
- 46:06Speaker 1: to try. You sef which is my my powerhouse Vault
- 46:10Speaker 1: Master twenty five deck.
- 46:12Speaker 2: You can say all these random words you want.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm using all the trigger words right now. You're
- 46:17Speaker 1: just saying random deck names. That's true. Nobody knows what meaningless? Yeah,
- 46:23Speaker 1: Tutor Ben Rylo, that's all I gotta say.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Okay, we got anything else we should talk about?
- 46:30Speaker 1: No, I think that's going to do it for us
- 46:31Speaker 1: this week. Nice short and sweet episode because we don't
- 46:34Speaker 1: have anybody.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Nobody wants us.
- 46:39Speaker 1: No e Walk's just Ewalk would have been here. He's
- 46:41Speaker 1: just in Uh he's in Alaska. What a strange place
- 46:47Speaker 1: to be.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Nobody has offered to buy my highest sasas VMW five deck.
- 46:53Speaker 1: No, I've been getting some I've been getting some messages.
- 46:56Speaker 1: I just noticed the day I like a bunch of
- 47:00Speaker 1: message requests from people I don't know, and I'm like, well,
- 47:03Speaker 1: I know them, but they're in our discords, and I'm
- 47:07Speaker 1: just like, oh, I'm not friends with them, so they
- 47:10Speaker 1: it never alerted to me to them actually being me
- 47:14Speaker 1: actually getting the message. So that fox Fire yours, Foxfire
- 47:18Speaker 1: is mine? You why do you got it?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Well, it's in my d okay as well.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it was one of the decks you
- 47:25Speaker 1: took from me, that it's got that, it's got that,
- 47:28Speaker 1: it's got that real nice guys, tooid Pod, double Junk,
- 47:32Speaker 1: Double Veil, Dark Memento, soul Vile, Dark Memento. I kind
- 47:39Speaker 1: of like dark Memento.
- 47:41Speaker 2: That's what I'm thinking of. I'll I'll quit pretending that.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Oh I don't have ownership out of it. Oh maybe
- 47:52Speaker 1: it just doesn't show me. But nice short, sweet episode.
- 47:56Speaker 1: This week. We'll see, we'll see how it all goes.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Mister x Ray is saying fifty percent PV Top is that.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Top is an alarmist.
- 48:09Speaker 1: No, I agree with you. Like every time a new
- 48:11Speaker 1: set comes out, x Rays like, the fucking walls are
- 48:14Speaker 1: burning down. Like I literally every time, and you know
- 48:20Speaker 1: it's true x Ray every time. It's like the walls
- 48:24Speaker 1: are falling down, the walls because he can't. I can't
- 48:30Speaker 1: beat it with this deck. I disagree with you.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I don't have my pudding here or not?
- 48:34Speaker 1: All right, fine, go ah have your pudding. That's gonna
- 48:36Speaker 1: do it first. This week somebody has to say happy
- 48:39Speaker 1: forging everybody, or what was it?
- 48:44Speaker 2: Losers?
- 48:45Speaker 1: Go forge keys. We'll see y'all next Well, no, we
- 48:47Speaker 1: won't see you next week. We might do something at Baltimore.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I gotta see how much shit I
- 48:51Speaker 1: could fit my suitcase. We'll see y'all next week.
- 48:53Speaker 2: By wey, don't you all right?
- 48:55Speaker 1: We're probably not doing shit. We might though maybe not
- 48:58Speaker 1: me and cheap, but we might. We'll see how that.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Comes.
- 49:13Speaker 1: The world's true. I give up as anything s
