- 0:00What day is it? What day is it?
- 0:07It's Sunday. It's Sunday, January 4th.
- 0:15So you know what tomorrow is Monday, right?
- 0:18Monday is the big day, Monday, January 5th.
- 0:23Quite possibly one of the biggest days of the year.
- 0:28And here's why. All of you finally, finally go
- 0:35back to work and NASCAR's got a race coming up not too not too
- 0:44long from now at Bowman Gray Stadium.
- 0:49So you know what that means. That means pretty soon, not
- 0:52long, NASCAR is going to come out with all the announcements.
- 0:58What is the points going to look like?
- 1:01What is NASCAR's reaction after the the settlement in the court
- 1:08case? OK, let's get right to it
- 1:11Yesterday, a complete different subject right now.
- 1:16Yesterday, my buddy Jerry Hoffman, who owns the
- 1:20Springfield, MO Raceway, the dirt track in Springfield, MO,
- 1:26the home of Johnny Morse and bass pro shops.
- 1:30So Jerry Hoffman calls me and he just just talks about my social
- 1:38media. And he said, Herman, I noticed
- 1:44you've been cussing a lot. And I thought to myself, well,
- 1:48he's talking about that, that little segment that I took out
- 1:54and I use the F word a lot. And he said, man, he says, I got
- 2:01a guy named John Yoke up here. He says, big fan of yours, loves
- 2:06listening to coffee with Kenny. But he says, man, Kenny is Kenny
- 2:11Wallace is just he's been cussing a lot lately and just
- 2:16really bothers me. So I want to say to John Yoke,
- 2:20John, I love you. And buddy, I'm sorry, OK?
- 2:26But it's hard. Just put yourself in my
- 2:29position, OK? You've got, what, a million
- 2:34people? You know, when you look at my
- 2:38social media, you have about 350,000 followers on X.
- 2:46We got what, 48480-ON on Facebook, so 480-586-8780.
- 2:58Then you've got Snapchat, Instagram.
- 3:04I got about a million people that follow what I'm saying and
- 3:09I'm very appreciative. But let me say this, first of
- 3:15all, I'm very sorry that I've cussed, but my Mama gave me a
- 3:22shirt years ago that went like this.
- 3:26I have so many wonderful qualities it's easy to overlook
- 3:32my few disgusting habits. Now the question is, is should I
- 3:41try to quit cussing? Here's my answer yes, yes, I
- 3:47should try to quit cussing because I'm a man of the Lord.
- 3:52I love the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior.
- 3:55May the Lord be with you. May the Lord be with you.
- 4:00So John Yoke, I want to let you know that I love you.
- 4:04Thank you for following me and we don't take anything real
- 4:09serious. We we got some things that are
- 4:12serious. I've had a lot of deaths on here
- 4:16that I've had to talk about, whether it's Scott Bloomquist,
- 4:19Greg Biffle, but I mean, well, so I just want to let you know I
- 4:27should not cuss, but I do sometimes.
- 4:32So don't let that deter you from for trying to make you want me
- 4:40to not cuss. And I understand that, Mister
- 4:42John Yoke, may the Lord be with you.
- 4:47Please forgive me of my sins, for I'm a Sinner.
- 4:51I'm not perfect. This is the day.
- 4:55This is the day that the Lord has made.
- 5:00I got to tell you, I, I, I got people out there that hate me
- 5:03'cause I cuss hate me. I mean capital.
- 5:07HATEI apologize. I never meant to make your
- 5:12daughter cry. I apologize a trillion times.
- 5:16I'm sorry, Miss Jackson, but I am for real.
- 5:21OK? I think we beat that like a dead
- 5:23horse. Should I cuss?
- 5:24No. I'll do my best to try to not
- 5:28cuss. OK.
- 5:33Something last night that dawned on me.
- 5:37I want to tell you all the story.
- 5:39Last night Kim said let's go to Cracker Barrel.
- 5:45So we got to Cracker Barrel around 7 like 658 seven o'clock
- 5:52had to wait for 15 minutes. There was lots of tables open,
- 5:58but I guess they didn't have enough people working.
- 6:01Have y'all noticed that lately? You'll go somewhere and there's
- 6:0510 tables open. They're like, sorry, can't, can
- 6:08I get you in? Well, that means they don't have
- 6:11enough people, you know, working.
- 6:14But I sat down and I thought, you know, I don't ever eat like
- 6:17this. Usually I'll eat grilled
- 6:19chicken, a salad, maybe some corn.
- 6:23Louis, there's the legend. So anyway, I'm at Cracker Barrel
- 6:28and I thought, you know, I just, I'm going to try this fried
- 6:31chicken once, man. It was fried, I mean fried to
- 6:39the Max. I had to get all that fried off.
- 6:42I know it's supposed, I know most people say that's the best
- 6:45part, but I couldn't do it, so I won't do that again.
- 6:49But anyway, when I was eating that fried chicken, I was
- 6:52trying, I ate just a little bit, you know, Then I took it all off
- 6:55and got to the actual meat. I looked around me and about
- 7:007:30, there wasn't very many people left.
- 7:05It dawned on me that everybody nowadays, I think people are
- 7:10eating supper or dinner. Wherever you live, whatever you
- 7:13call it. I think they're eating it
- 7:16earlier. I think people are eating at
- 7:195:00 now. And I think some people go to go
- 7:22to supper or dinner at 4:30. So the question is this, what
- 7:27time do you go to dinner? I really think it's about 5:00
- 7:31nowadays. I really do.
- 7:35I and, and I also noticed something else here lately,
- 7:38while people people roam aimlessly, don't know what to do
- 7:43with themselves during this weird time.
- 7:46You know, December 30. What is it?
- 7:49December 26th to actually about tomorrow, January 5th, Everybody
- 7:54just eating every. I've never seen so much money.
- 7:57Everybody got so much money they're just jamming up the
- 8:01restaurants or eating out celebrating.
- 8:03I love it. But people I think are eating
- 8:07lunch at 2O clock in the day. Respond right here.
- 8:10What I'm learning is people just eating at all Times Now.
- 8:15There's no such thing as a lunch or dinner.
- 8:19I'm noticing people eat eat lunch.
- 8:23I mean 12 is like 8 O clock in the morning now for lunch.
- 8:26What do you think? Respond right here.
- 8:30I'm noticing yesterday on Saturday, I tried to go to
- 8:33Twisted Tavern at 3:00 and it's like they had food on sale.
- 8:37Thanksgiving food away. I ate a really late lunch, 230
- 8:43got my food around 2:45. I mean, you couldn't get into
- 8:45place. And finally switching subjects.
- 8:49Remember, tomorrow's the big day.
- 8:52Now corporate America really won't open up.
- 8:54They won't get back till next week like let's say 10 like like
- 8:59the 12th. Don't don't plan on talking to
- 9:02corporate America till about January 12th.
- 9:05And like I say every year, even at that January 12th, they they
- 9:09just cleaning their desk off. All right, everybody had three
- 9:15subjects cussing. What time do you go to dinner
- 9:19and is there a lunchtime anymore?
- 9:23And NASCAR, I think all their executives went, went on a big
- 9:28vacation to clear their heads. Well, I know they did because I
- 9:33know some of them, that some of them went way, way out of
- 9:36America. I think they needed to, they
- 9:39needed to neutralize their self. All right, everybody have a
- 9:45great day.
