- 0:00well I've got the opener right here in my hand are you ready for this is that what
- 0:04you call it I don't know am I ready for it is that is that what you say when
- 0:08you've got the opener in your hand you ready for this you ready to be
- 0:12opened welcome to multiple
- 0:15nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and
- 0:20Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All
- 0:26Things nerdy oh what what do you say when you're preparing to do something it
- 0:32depends on what I'm preparing to do Luke you call yours
- 0:36man not sure mine has a name what I was actually referring to
- 0:43was a personality test I took in Japan oh so you've been to another church of
- 0:50Scientology then have you yes yes exactly wait well I don't even know
- 0:54where I was when I got this wait wait wait wait wait wait you were in Japan
- 0:58before you were in in Los Angeles weren't you yes I was so were you
- 1:02exposed to the Church of Scientology earlier than we knew is that what no no
- 1:07this was not a Church of Scientology thing this was something at Jo joopis I
- 1:12think when you are a Scientologist everything becomes a Church of
- 1:16Scientology Thing One Way or Another this pre exposure I thought
- 1:22anyway anyway sorry sry sorry don't need to it does this is yeah this is back
- 1:25from 2016 now I I don't remember quite what I was how they did this but I
- 1:32remember the questions weren't in English oh that probably went well then
- 1:36y so I I I'll read a few of the things off throughout the show but I'll start
- 1:41off with basic personality in Japanese please yeah yeah I don't do that is that
- 1:46what you told them charismatic they loved you over there I don't do
- 1:52that English I don't Japanese El I don't think so mate yeah
- 1:58English so well they print it out in English for me so yeah charismatic team
- 2:04leader you are a talented leader to organize a team you raise the motivation
- 2:09of people around you unconsciously and you can lead a group toward a toward a
- 2:15goal okay this is because you always give high priority to other people's
- 2:19feelings and people around you look up as a trustable leader but you often
- 2:24can't say no to someone's request because you can imagine others feelings
- 2:28realistically like your
- 2:33care so be careful not to take too much requests or impossible wishes from
- 2:39others okay I mean look that does describe you but it could also describe
- 2:42literally anyone so yeah but it's it is good advice don't take on Impossible
- 2:47wishes from others you know yeah I'll give you I'll give you a little tease to
- 2:51the next one the title is your view on sex oh well well if it's your view it's
- 2:56not really a test is it they just asked you what your view was and you told so
- 3:00you have to wait for that a little later in the show and he said well I've got
- 3:03the opener right here in my hand that's my [ __ ] view on sex right
- 3:08there you're honor so what what's your view on what's been happening this week
- 3:12oh he's going to no no that's for later okay wow well I'm I'm back obviously um
- 3:19oh yeah Matt's back's oh yeah I forgot about that sorry listeners um I actually
- 3:23had intended to I was going to try and be here but it just didn't work out cuz
- 3:28I was at packs unplugged and there was a lot going on and uh it's Pax is very
- 3:33tiring it's exhausting it is exhausting do you know something happened at um
- 3:39unplugged that hasn't happened in a while and I I don't know if we talked
- 3:41about this before but remember when we went to P um cuz I've been to packs
- 3:46different paxes with both of you over here in the US and but I think both
- 3:50times Penny Arcade was kind of a big deal at at Pax but it seemed to me at
- 3:57PAX East that and people are more interested in YouTubers that I've never
- 4:02heard of than they are the penny arcade guys you know what I'm saying mhm that
- 4:08that is slowly becoming a thing well and for that reason um Acquisitions
- 4:13Incorporated which is the live D and D game that the that the penny arade
- 4:17people do uh sponsored by Wizards of the Coast I believe it's now run by Jeremy
- 4:23Crawford uh Chris Perkins has stepped down as DM which is sad but Jeremy
- 4:28Crawford is apparently [ __ ] awesome mhm uh cuz we we did see the show at
- 4:33packs unplugged barely cuz I just assumed it would be like you know PAX
- 4:38East where you can just wander into that giant theater without a worry you know
- 4:43and see the show not counting on the fact that this is a [ __ ] board game convention and
- 4:48if you don't get in that line early you will not s you'll not get in like it was
- 4:52[ __ ] packed we had to sit in the floor well it is called
- 4:55packs that's good point yeah but that hasn't to me uh at a pack in a very long
- 5:02time so like you know not being able to get into a panel that I wanted cuz I'm
- 5:07I'm old I went all the way toing Seattle for packs with two things that I wanted
- 5:11to see there and neither of which I made it into we we made it into the Bioshock
- 5:18panel for packs if you recall that's true that's true we did and that's
- 5:22actually now a famous panel uh that people show clips of on YouTube because
- 5:28uh it showed BioShock Infinite that's right cuz they showed that footage of
- 5:33the game back when it looked a lot more interesting yeah when there was a when
- 5:38there was a tear in the fabric of SpaceTime and you ended up in the 80s in
- 5:42some City and with said revenge of the Jedi on the theater and stuff amazing
- 5:48that was still in the game yeah they showed us footage well yeah but it was this was
- 5:53different she was like healing a wh I think sorry I didn't finish the word it
- 5:59sounded like a said healing a [ __ ] healing a horse yeah I stopped stopped
- 6:03midw which was which is bad yes packs exhausting and uh I think they're going
- 6:09to have to make packs unplugged even bigger next year it was like twice as
- 6:12big this year all plug it in just plug it possible for him to make it bigger uh
- 6:19yeah I think so he's still talking to the
- 6:24opener yeah I think so the the convention center in Philly is big and
- 6:29uh and I think they could they could take up more of it it's a nice Convention Center
- 6:35actually Philly's nice we actually walked around Philly uh quite a
- 6:39bit uh took took did you meet your friendly drug dealer no I didn't um
- 6:45everyone there is very friendly though we we walked he say a drug dealer
- 6:51no Philly gets a bad R people say oh be careful there like ah was fine and we
- 6:57walked to to get to a we went to go to particular Pub went for a walk at night
- 7:02mostly it was fine there was a couple of areas that I was like uhoh are we
- 7:05entering a bad area no people just were like hello like people actually said
- 7:11hello which at first was terrifying cuz why are they talking to
- 7:16me but then it was like oh no they're actually there just being nice now when
- 7:18you say you were looking for a particular pup uh I'm going to assume this is Patty's pup
- 7:24well a few other celebrity pubs while you were there we did go to well it
- 7:28claims to be the the original Patty's Pub for It's Always Sunny in
- 7:31Philadelphia fans Apparently that is the one like they are claiming it's the one
- 7:35that that they base the show on cuz Rob Melone grew up in Philly we didn't like
- 7:40really go into the Patty Pub because it was just it's just a like a pub like a
- 7:45you know yeah it's not that special it doesn't look like the one in the movie
- 7:47in the in the show but we did go to one called Max tavn which actually is owned
- 7:51by uh Rob mcy and um Caitlin Olsson cuz
- 7:56they're married actually so it's Caitlyn m but are they goes by her old name yeah
- 8:03they met on the show apparently so but yeah this has CL members are married to
- 8:08each other yes and one of them's not married anyone Glenn not married he's
- 8:12got A's I'm not saying he's not married I'm just saying he's not married to one
- 8:15of the other five cast members oh sure unless he's married Danny De I didn't know about
- 8:21it you never know imagine that yeah
- 8:25Glenn howt and [ __ ] Danny DeVito what a wedding
- 8:32ah yes that's fun they weren't there obviously CU why would they be but uh
- 8:38cuz they live in Los Angeles did you have any Philadelphia spread while you
- 8:41were there uh h no I don't think so is that a worldwide thing or is that an
- 8:46Australian no we have that we have that what about a Philly cheese steak while
- 8:50you were there uh I had a Philly cheese steak crepe which was very good okay
- 8:57sure just like the egg omelet thing no
- 9:02you don't instead of bun or you know what a is what a what a Philly cheese
- 9:06steak is what is like a thin pancake thin pancake nether of them are omelets
- 9:12sorry I get confused they get confused yeah crepe is
- 9:16a is like a thin pancake kind of thing but it's Savory well it doesn't actually it
- 9:22doesn't have doesn't have to be you can have sweet Crepes yeah but you can't
- 9:27have an omelette and say it's a crepe
- 9:31can't do yeah you I knew what I meant I could go on omelet though it's
- 9:37good great so there's been some trailers come out this week yeah a couple of
- 9:42pretty big trailers actually yeah all it to take now was an episode n trailer and
- 9:48uh you know yeah I think I think we have to wait on that but jeez yeah I think so
- 9:52too they did they put them all out in the same week so the well the first one
- 9:57was Captain Marvel mm and it looks all
- 10:00right I guess H does it it doesn't it
- 10:06looks okay I guess but then again black panther trailer was [ __ ] see I was
- 10:12thinking the trailer I was like oh okay sure I mean it looks fine and that maybe
- 10:18that's for the best cuz I find I was thinking like Well normally when I feel
- 10:22that way about a movie I like it because I'm not hying it up too much the first
- 10:26trailer I felt was more interesting than this one this one one I don't
- 10:31know just seemed very pedestrian but we'll see I mean look I'm obviously
- 10:38going to see it yes yeah um what did you think of the Avengers trailer cuz I
- 10:44wasn't that impressed well it didn't really that's not true show anything but
- 10:50trailer didn't show a huge amount what it did do was make me want to go back
- 10:55and watch uh the previous film again yeah I want seen it once I haven't seen
- 11:01it a second time yeah so you know it reminded me that it was there and that I
- 11:06should catch up on it again before we move forward I notic they didn't do
- 11:11anything too tricky with this one like give away any evidence of time travel
- 11:17plots or anything like that didn't they well didn't didn't
- 11:24they one thing it did remind me of is the fact that I've missed another Ant-Man movie
- 11:29yes in fact well actually both of those you know what I don't want to spoil even
- 11:34this might not be the case and I don't want to spoil anything but um not a
- 11:38spoiler if you don't know it's a spoiler okay well apparently some stuff happens
- 11:41in Ant-Man and the WASP that oh that is interesting I have to see that movie do
- 11:47I and might invalidate your statement Dan about not not including some kind of
- 11:53I see timey traveling kind of business let's uh no no I think I have you seen
- 12:00Antman in the WASP no I think I know what you're talking about and I think
- 12:03you might be confused it's not me it's Reddit that's confused if that's the
- 12:07case I think reddit's confused because okay I don't know it's not it's not too
- 12:13late for a spoiler it's I can say spoiler for Antman for Antman go for
- 12:18your life yeah cuz it's been two weeks okay so yeah I don't give a [ __ ] about
- 12:23anman keep in mind I haven't seen the
- 12:26movie oh this will be great then go on but there's a I believe there's a part
- 12:32where he gets shrunk down smaller than he's ever been Y and there's two other
- 12:38people that are working a computer to make sure that he's super
- 12:43small okay now when the click happens and everyone disappears two people
- 12:47looking after the computer they disappear right okay and then he gets out somehow I
- 12:54don't know how in other words he's supposed to still be microscopic yeah
- 13:00yes yes he gets lost in the quantum realm right so I reck he just got out
- 13:06somehow and then then he rocks up to the Avengers house and goes hey how's it
- 13:10going remember me and then they go weren't you really small and he goes I
- 13:14got out somehow yeah I just got out somehow they're like you going to
- 13:17explain where you were no I got out somehow well I didn't explain how the
- 13:22Hulk got to that planet that's true that is true he flew off in the jet didn't he
- 13:28at the he get to another planet I flew it there mate if you just keep flying a
- 13:32jet eventually you'll probably get to another planet yeah
- 13:36exactly eventually he flew off in one of those Nick Fury Jets I forget what
- 13:41they're called someone right in speaking of Nick Fury I'm not completely psyched
- 13:47about the level of Nick Fury that Captain Marvel seems to have in it it's
- 13:52not it's not that I don't like Nick Fury it's not that I don't like Samuel L
- 13:57Jackson it's just that he's just a bit Overexposed and I don't really
- 14:04care what is he anymore yes yes he is
- 14:08what's but he sort of dropped off he's
- 14:12literally Jackson he's everywhere he is bit parts
- 14:18now and he plays The Wacky sidekicking things now or or or the I don't remember
- 14:23the last thing I saw him in that wasn't an Avengers movie even the last few
- 14:27Avengers movies he hasn't been in he's in M Night shamalan Series so that's
- 14:32going on right yeah but I won't be watching them so don't worry about that
- 14:36he was in the kingsman he was in the [ __ ] tazan movie that came out last
- 14:40year that I finally caught up on that was wacky sidekick that was a [ __ ]
- 14:46ter awful movie yeah yes listen Darcy
- 14:51has sent in an article about a gentleman who uh who
- 14:56purchased preemptively apparently before everyone was talking about it cuz oh
- 15:00yeah we haven't we didn't mention this uh the Russo Brothers the directors of
- 15:04infinity war and end game and some of the Captain America movies [ __ ] Liars
- 15:09they said the title of the new Avengers movie is not spoken in Infinity War it
- 15:15is it's called endgame Doctor Strange says it so yeah
- 15:20lies but uh that became everyone's theory about what it was going to be um for a while
- 15:26online before they said that and then this gentleman apparently even before it
- 15:32became a a common belief that that was going to be the name he registered
- 15:36Avengers endgame.com and uh and now he's holding it Ransom of
- 15:42course he's redirected it to the page for the the new Deadpool movie Once Upon
- 15:47a Deadpool so if you go to Avengers endgame.com it'll redirect you to the uh
- 15:52the Deadpool website uh and he said unless they invite him to the premiere
- 15:58he's not going to hand it over so I think they probably would have
- 16:02liked to have sorted that out before the premiere as well you
- 16:06know good point but also I think uh I
- 16:11think they could probably arrange to just get that cuz there are certain
- 16:15rules around copyright and and things like that to do you have to actually
- 16:20have something called that in order to sit on yeah like you can register a
- 16:25domain and as long it could be any old thing as long as no one cares you can
- 16:29have it and it's fine but if you own a domain that is a registered trademark of
- 16:33something and you don't have a good reason for having it then they they can
- 16:38and and will take it away from you I think he's doing the smart thing though
- 16:41of uh sending it to the Deadpool and sort of having a bit of a fun with it oh
- 16:44yeah yeah yeah yeah rather than instead of just going to like PornHub yeah or a
- 16:49bunch of affiliate links or something unless he's got some kind of under the
- 16:54table deal with um Fox for the uh the deadpol selling that to the highest bit
- 16:59right now hey can I ask you a question about the Russo Brothers sure so the
- 17:05Russo Brothers uh directed a couple of episodes of Arrested Development which
- 17:10was good oh I didn't know that yeah and they directed a couple of episodes of
- 17:14Happy Endings which was good and they directed a couple episodes of Community
- 17:18which was good and then they did four [ __ ] Marvel movies what happened how
- 17:24do you do that well they did a good job on the Marvel movies no I know they did but
- 17:29like yeah how do you go from like that to that like that's a big jump yeah like
- 17:35how how do we get in on that ah the Russ I think I think the the the Lego movie
- 17:40guys might have ruined that for everyone though with solo yeah that's right no
- 17:44one's taking any chances anymore cuz maybe that's what they were thinking
- 17:47like oh they got these Russo Brothers they did some comedy stuff and then we
- 17:50got I forget the I forget their names but the we got these guys The Lego Movie
- 17:54and they've done some TV stuff let's give them a Star Wars movie and then
- 17:58they were like a yeah let's make it all
- 18:02crazy yeah looking St make up the lines as you go along guys we're being
- 18:07factious but uh yeah so maybe that's that's why that's why they did that yeah
- 18:12Russo brothers that now you you don't even have to be a director you just have
- 18:17to be related to a director and they'll just Bry D Howard yeah hey correct leave
- 18:23her alone look she's all right look all right I know you like your Elfie buffins but
- 18:30I'm just saying some of us went to [ __ ] uni to learn how to be directors all
- 18:36right we didn't just have famous dads yeah and saw the fantast
- 18:41opotamus oh your dad didn't teach you how to direct a film H
- 18:47interesting interesting I would love to have seen a film that your dad directed
- 18:52Matt I can't for the life say I've seen
- 18:55a short I was in one oh my dad yeah yeah yeah it was weird about a pedophile
- 19:01priest I yeah before you go throwing your judgment around you starred in that
- 19:07movie Matt I
- 19:13know not as the pedophile priest he chose that role for himself I was one of
- 19:18a group of friends in that yeah I watched a movie this
- 19:22week um that I was I thought it looked interesting I know that it didn't it
- 19:29wasn't well received uh it's called bright it's on Netflix it's got Smith
- 19:35I've looked at it I've looked at it as I've looked would have made a great I've
- 19:40seen it and I've said it would have made a great television show yeah if you
- 19:45split the three acts of that movie up to three seasons I think it would have been
- 19:49fantastic yeah see look I liked it uh in
- 19:53general it wasn't great like but I liked it and especially like the story and
- 19:59it's reminded me a lot of Shadow run you guys familiar with Shadow run mhm very
- 20:03much reminded me of that with obviously it's not the far future it's set in the
- 20:07present day but yeah so you got elves and Orcs at some point joined our world
- 20:14or maybe they were always in our world it does it's not quite clear how they
- 20:17got there but it's set presumably present day Los Angeles except there are
- 20:21elves and Orcs And and rumors of magic and uh there's about two cops one's a
- 20:27human one's an orc and uh he's the first all cop that's right and they have an
- 20:32adventure okay is it a metaphor for racism no it doesn't I don't think well
- 20:38yeah I think it is is it I think it goes that deep yeah it's not obviously that I
- 20:42don't think okay okay it's it's fairly straightforward because it's based off
- 20:46on comic or a book isn't it I'm not sure about that I know it's written it was
- 20:51written by Max Landis oh okay I I don't mind Max Landis but he's not done the
- 20:55best stuff always he did that um what was that one
- 20:59with you know what this is pointless cuz I can't remember the name of it or even
- 21:01who's in it so no one's going to know what the [ __ ] I'm talking about there's
- 21:05a movie that he directed that uh or wrote and directed or forget it no no no
- 21:11I want to hear where this is going I want to I want to hear the point you going to
- 21:15make uh he's written some stuff that went well and he's written some stuff
- 21:19that went poorly so uh also he's John landis's son and he is yeah writing if
- 21:25not directing the American Werewolf in Lon REO he is I believe he's also
- 21:32directing well bright was directed by David a who directed Suicide Squad oh
- 21:38and so I was like H Academy Award winning
- 21:44film yeah Suicide Squad so I was like oh maybe that's what the problem
- 21:49is yes certainly could be that certainly could be that yeah know I just think
- 21:53this would have especially the way it ends and everything I think could have
- 21:57just been well it played out bit longer over yeah I think it was more suited to
- 22:01television it's got some great stuff in it though yeah and I think having that
- 22:04fleshed out a bit some of that story I think it was fleshed out and you got
- 22:08more involved in it and yeah I think it would have been like there TV but we got
- 22:12a movie there was that bit where it's not really a spoiler but there's a cuz
- 22:17it's kind of the premise of the whole [ __ ] film is that there's a there
- 22:21there are people who are bright and that means you can who can hold magic one you
- 22:26can hold magic one without it exploding you if you touch a magic wand and you're
- 22:29not you know you don't you're not a bright you'll just [ __ ] explode so
- 22:34there are people who are bright and then there's this young is there a way to
- 22:37know that before you touch it no it doesn't I don't think so um so and
- 22:44there's a young elf girl who was played by the GF from the uh the Wolf Creek TV
- 22:48series um she she's a bright and she uh they they team up with her after
- 22:54they rescue her from um from some some bad elves uh but there's a section where there's a
- 23:01an elf girl who's been you know by Magic kind of transformed into this almost art
- 23:07installation like you know what I mean Luke like she's dead and she's been um
- 23:12it's just like her her from from the Torso down kind of goes into this big
- 23:16kind of almost um statue of like swans and things and but and and but it's all
- 23:23kind of like it's very gothy and you know like it's got blood red kind of
- 23:27colors through that part oh man it's [ __ ] cool but then I was just like oh
- 23:31that's rad there wasn't really anything else like it in the film like that was
- 23:36like visually that was [ __ ] really cool and then it yeah didn't didn't do
- 23:43anything else like that yeah they had the power through the story so that's
- 23:46why you missed more stuff like that yeah l a potential it's just very flat the
- 23:51whole thing is just very flat yeah it's not a bad movie but in fact I recommend
- 23:56check it out like if you're doing theing pop it on looked flat that's why I
- 24:00skipped it yeah probably won't go and watch it now even with your lukewarm
- 24:06reviews it's not bad it's just not good it gets very predictable hey speaking of
- 24:12Wands right look's got his in his hand you guys that's right
- 24:17the um you guys have seen Harry Potter
- 24:21right yes not all of them but most of you've seen most I've seen one and I
- 24:27don't really remember much about it so uh I sort of dropped out about a goblet
- 24:31of fire don't know what that is but um
- 24:35I've got a question the wands in Harry Potter they kind of just look like a
- 24:41stick right they're like a twisted little stick some of them are fancier
- 24:46than that okay some of them have like bits in yeah cuz I was in I was in a
- 24:52Collectibles store the other day and they were selling mean what I would call a stick
- 24:59right y for $350 and saying that it was a wand and I
- 25:05just my [ __ ] hat is off to whoever came up with that the marketing idea of
- 25:10let's just sell people sticks for hundreds of dollars Luke do you remember
- 25:16when we were in uh we were at Venice Beach and there was a certainly do
- 25:20people with just you know like card are you still there card table selling stuff
- 25:25and there's a guy down there who's just got just see just he's collected a bunch
- 25:29of [ __ ] sticks off the ground and he's got a sign that says magic Wes and
- 25:33it's he selling them y well see you can laugh but
- 25:38[ __ ] War Brothers is do yeah except yeah he's told it Ro he
- 25:44was selling kid for like 10 bucks each so he's got to get up the price that's
- 25:47right see for 10 bucks I mean like this isn't this is just a stick whereas for
- 25:51350 bucks I'm like this is like an official replica
- 25:55stick it looks exactly like Voldemort
- 25:59stick stick I said say stick I said stick Voldemort's
- 26:06opener look uh bright on Netflix right yes it is it certainly is and the
- 26:12sequel's coming out soon I think as well they start filming it's called oh too bright turn
- 26:18it down yeah too bright that's the third one I uh watched some Netflix this week
- 26:22I caught up on making a murderer season 2 Matt you've seen this yes yeah I
- 26:28watched the first couple episodes and just couldn't get first season even
- 26:32deeper of the first season okay you couldn't get into it let me put this out
- 26:36there then I just want to ask you this question I I want to know at what point
- 26:41did the genre of True Crime morph into
- 26:45drip feeding information that could fit
- 26:49into a 45 minute TV special over 13
- 26:54hours because there were whole episodes of this season that I said to myself
- 26:59after seeing I learned nothing new in this and also it made me think they have
- 27:04turned the death of a young woman into entertainment and and then it it hadn't
- 27:10really thought of me hadn't really thought of me I hadn't really thought of
- 27:14that is the correct thing I should have said when I was watching the first
- 27:17season thing now it's just a bit on the no because the first season was a
- 27:22mystery and and there was an interesting side to it you know that
- 27:28this person had been wrongfully accused spent years in prison got out and then
- 27:33was what he claims wrongly accused again of an additional murder that's
- 27:38interesting yes but when you do an entire second
- 27:43season and spoiler alert nothing has
- 27:48changed now sure the uh then you just have to admit
- 27:55you are just cashing in yeah well yeah the second season came
- 27:59out very quickly the second season well not really because to be honest the
- 28:03first season actually is from 2005 cuz I kind of the maths didn't add up in my
- 28:07head and I realized that I think Netflix might have bought this season bought
- 28:12this series off of whoever else did its first run but they do tend to do that
- 28:17with some of the Netflix originals they're not actually Netflix they're
- 28:21just that's right cuz here it only came out last year but um the staircase which
- 28:26is also a true crime thing watch the staircase years ago yeah so they
- 28:30definitely bought that and I don't I don't know if they paid for the newer
- 28:32episodes um but they might not even not have done that but that yeah that's
- 28:36quite old yeah the original six episodes or whatever yeah that's right there was
- 28:41six episodes then there was an hour special which I think is episodes seven
- 28:44and eight now and now there's 13 of them oh my God okay well I should get back in
- 28:50and catch up then on the ones I haven't seen but making a murderous season 2 is
- 28:54about the appeal and that's interesting that's fine if there's new evidence and
- 28:59there's new theories that's great I want to hear about that but there were a lot
- 29:03of episodes just about how sick is mom is you know yes it's very manipulative
- 29:09in that sense and well see I wonder if it's intentional because he it's mostly
- 29:15I think about uh about Brandon dass's appeals and and and his attorneys and
- 29:20then also Steven Avery's new lawyer Kathleen zelner who is she's [ __ ]
- 29:25great like please represent me if I'm ever Mur she will find a reason for you not
- 29:31to go to jail I've been following her after watching it too and I think the
- 29:37whole thing is she thinks she can get him a retrial and at this point
- 29:42especially with season 2 and all the stuff that's going on she'll get him out
- 29:46of prison if she does well I think maybe that's what this
- 29:50whole thing's about that her her Twitter is just updates of the court case where
- 29:57she uses # making a murderer you know yep like
- 30:03she's pretty much just admitting this is just a big publicity stunt yeah but that's her
- 30:09job no I understand but I understand from her point of view Yeah Yeah from
- 30:15from the from the filmmaker's point of view we making the Caesar I mean you
- 30:18you've got to pretty much admit that you're just now you're just trying to
- 30:23get a dude off
- 30:26oh yeah yeah I know the other thing is I
- 30:31I I cuz I I I looked into it further and and listeners if you if you're
- 30:35interested I recommend you do this but be careful cuz some of the sub like for
- 30:39example there's a bunch of subreddits about about this and they go [ __ ] way
- 30:43too far on some of this stuff but there actually is a lot of
- 30:48evidence that he did do it that they leave out of the documentary and there's
- 30:53also some other stuff that they that they leave out that's not you know that
- 30:58that that that suggests maybe he didn't do it and and it's really it's just
- 31:01because they wasn't interesting enough yeah they're just telling one
- 31:06story yeah well but just because it's not interesting doesn't mean it's not
- 31:11relevant like if you're actually interested in the truth and not just
- 31:15being entertained it's [ __ ] important stuff to know but yeah cuz I'll be
- 31:19honest a lot of this wasn't entertaining I enjoyed this season just
- 31:24because I I like I find the at all and and I can certainly see why you got a
- 31:30lot out of it but um I just I just think it's an odd but I'll say this if I ever
- 31:36get convicted of murder can you guys immediately do a podcast or a Netflix
- 31:42series about it because that's how you get off you know yeah yeah yeah
- 31:46absolutely like Adan s has a a new trial
- 31:50these guys are um you West Memphis 3 would I mean Dam would be dead if it wasn't for
- 31:56[ __ ] yeah he would literally be dead I mentioned um teachers pet and Aussie
- 32:01version of basically serial um it was this same thing 13 hours of no new
- 32:07information um and now they've just [ __ ] arrested the dude that the guy
- 32:11in the podcast said did it so wow
- 32:16yeah yeah the one I think season 2 making a murderer is very apparent that
- 32:22they had all the information when they were editing these episodes together but
- 32:25they still chose to it all up into episodes that
- 32:32are it follows a plot like there's a whole epode for the first half of the
- 32:37Season she's basically coming just short of accusing somebody like the neighbor of of
- 32:44potentially having killed her and then and then she goes and speaks to him
- 32:48right you know the what I'm talking about where they give and then she's
- 32:51like n wasn't him yeah really off hand as well just oh by the way viewer you
- 32:55don't suspect him anymore yeah well you knew that at the beginning like cuz you
- 33:01edited this later cuz you filed it all right yeah cuz the thing is
- 33:07I like the the the thing that was good
- 33:10about cial for example was that each episode was about a new piece of
- 33:16information that made you doubt what You' heard in the last episode you know
- 33:21it unfolded before you to a point this
- 33:24one doesn't it just kind of hangs there
- 33:28and actually I I do think that the story that the police prosecution came up with
- 33:35to put these two people in jail is probably not true I do believe that
- 33:40absolutely absolutely um but that doesn't mean they didn't do it and that
- 33:44doesn't mean that the theories that their lawyers and the filmmakers of this
- 33:50show have put forward to me as what I'm supposed to believe instead I don't
- 33:55believe that either cuz they leave important things out like there's one
- 33:59piece of information right that kind of you know you know brenn and dassi
- 34:04confessed right coed or otherwise right but part of that confession was that cuz
- 34:08people go why would why would her blood even be in the car if he killed her at
- 34:12the house and then burned the body right mhm except Brandon dassie in his
- 34:16confession apparently said they tried to
- 34:19take the body to a uh a lake to to drive
- 34:24the car into a lake but then when they got there the lake had dried up so they
- 34:29had to bring it back and it's like well [ __ ] that's important to know that he
- 34:33said that yeah that changes quite a lot but it's just not in the show at all
- 34:39so anyway if you haven't seen making a murder that's not going to mean anything
- 34:46but it's interesting it's just I get where you coming
- 34:51from I found it interesting I watched I watched it all but yeah I I was aware of
- 34:56the manipulation much more in this theas yeah it's it's very much I think
- 35:02Kathleen zelner like I said please [ __ ] represent me if I'm ever in
- 35:05trouble because she will get a [ __ ] reasonable doubt if he gets another
- 35:11trial mhm and I think that's what human
- 35:14being her face looks like a mask I
- 35:18know [ __ ] great lawyer though yeah she's just ridiculous and some of the
- 35:23stuff she says it's just like you have [ __ ] got to be kidding me but she's
- 35:26committed yeah she goes for it she says some ridiculous [ __ ] but that's that's
- 35:33what her job is yeah watch anything else this week uh oh I did actually I I I
- 35:37we've talked about this I think briefly before I rewatched a classic film that I
- 35:43had not watched since I was very young and then I watched the sequel because
- 35:48like I I'm sure we've talked about this before but Rambo mhm yeah changes quite
- 35:53a lot oh yeah between the first and second films yeah yeah yeah yeah well
- 35:57they change consistently changes as they go along yeah yeah so I I I hadn't seen
- 36:03Rambo since I was a kid and I don't I knew because I I'm I know that this is
- 36:08not uncommon knowledge that the first one's quite different in tone to all the
- 36:12rest of them so as a kid you do as a kid you sort of normally skip the first one
- 36:16because yeah CU this it's not as good but I actually I really enjoyed it this
- 36:21time but but just the the [ __ ] change love First Blood the change is so [ __ ]
- 36:28like hilarious almost to watch them I watch them back to back so the first one
- 36:33if you're not familiar with the story of the first like first blood it's a tragic
- 36:37story about a [ __ ] war vet who he escaped from a prison camp in Vietnam
- 36:42and he comes back to the US and he's it's been seven years and he's now
- 36:47hitchhiking around the country trying to find his old friends from the war his
- 36:51old you know Squad mates but they're all [ __ ] dead and then he finally gets to
- 36:55this guy's house like his best from the war finds out he's dead too he died of
- 37:00cancer because of that agent orange and he's like Ah that's
- 37:04bummer so he's like hitchhiking around wandering around wanders into
- 37:09this town called hope in Washington and cuz he looks like a a
- 37:14homeless guy the sheriff picks him up drives him to the other side TI says
- 37:17[ __ ] off mate we don't want you here and uh so he gets upset wanders back into
- 37:24town they arrest him they rough him up he has like [ __ ] PTS D flashbacks
- 37:29goes crazy runs off into the woods they start hunting him down and he retaliates
- 37:33and it [ __ ] goes [ __ ] gets crazy from there and it's a little over the top but
- 37:40you know it's a very sad story and at the end his his old Colonel shows up
- 37:43talks him down tells him if he doesn't give up they're going to kill him and
- 37:48he'll be the last survivor and bring disgrace on his unit and is that what he
- 37:51wants and he starts crying and talks about the war and all this horrible [ __ ]
- 37:54that happened and then they arrest him
- 37:57and it's it's all very like dire mhm and then the second one he's in prison and
- 38:03the colonel comes in and says we're sending you back to
- 38:08Vietnam y but it's and it's just so on the nose and he goes he goes we need you
- 38:13to go back and get these PS out and then rainbow goes do we get to win this
- 38:18time yeah also point out [ __ ] hell the war is over this is the ' 80s this
- 38:23is the late ' 80s it's 10 years later at that point and the the Vietnamese have
- 38:29been hiding American PS in the in the forest for some reason yeah yeah they
- 38:35just keeping because you know in the late 7s early ' 80s when the first one
- 38:39was written it's like America was the bad guy you know America was the one
- 38:44that the the average guy had to look out for and then later on no [ __ ] it it's the
- 38:50gos Matt you should have continued on to the third one do you do you know what
- 38:54happened to the [ __ ] third one he goes to Afghanistan he goes to
- 38:58Afghanistan join the Taliban yeah he helps the um they don't call the Taliban
- 39:04mu yeah yeah um yeah but they they change the because the [ __ ] Russians
- 39:11are there and by that point America [ __ ] hates the Russians well they
- 39:15show up in the second one too but that's the the the the it's just
- 39:20so [ __ ] different in the first one he doesn't kill anyone right one cop dies
- 39:25tries to survive yeah and it's it's an accident right the cop and it's the cop's fault
- 39:30really he's being he's being a prick and then he falls out of the helicopter and
- 39:34dies but um Rambo doesn't kill anyone they actually fire a rocket launcher at
- 39:39him to try and thir one in the third one he gets St
- 39:45he gets hit by in the stomach by a rocket launcher and just kind of pushes
- 39:48it through out the other side and just [ __ ] shooting Russians with his bow and
- 39:54arrow been so long since I watched it I actually bought a pack of them on iTunes
- 39:58that's why this all happened maybe I'll go back to I actually read the book that
- 40:03the first one's based on oh yeah yeah and it's actually it's a quite a short
- 40:09book I only read short books these days I don't have the attention span for big
- 40:12thick game of even commit to that yeah but I read it on I read it on a listicle
- 40:17of um top 10 movies you didn't know were based on books and uh that one I was
- 40:23like [ __ ] I did not know Rambo was based on a book the book is [ __ ] hardcore
- 40:27too you know how they're you know he's in the shower and they they're shooting
- 40:31him with the [ __ ] fire hose yeah at that point in the book he escapes so
- 40:37he's naked so he is naked during the entire rest of the
- 40:44plot really yeah well you know I cuz I did some research on on it I was because
- 40:49I was interested and it they took uh something like 10 years to get the film
- 40:53to happen and there were a bunch of different actors attached and eventually
- 40:56when Stallone came in he changed it CU it says in the book he's a [ __ ]
- 41:02psychopath like it's not even in in the movie he's fairly a sympathetic
- 41:08character you feel bad for him in the book they do make him much more
- 41:11sympathetic yeah yeah in the book still [ __ ] Maniac I think it's not that
- 41:16he's a maniac it's that he flips completely into Maniac mode right yeah I
- 41:23think he still comes from that same point of view as still owns Rambo but he
- 41:29the PTSD just basically flicks the switch with him yeah right and he's just
- 41:34[ __ ] animal in the in the jungle who'll do anything to
- 41:39survive man that first movie it it does get a little bit over the top by the end
- 41:43of it I was like [ __ ] hell all right this is silly but whatever he blows up half the
- 41:50town good movie though yeah now I want to watch them I haven't seen um the
- 41:55fourth one there was four a fifth one yeah and there's going to be a fifth as
- 42:00well yeah mhm was the fourth one any good enjoyed
- 42:05it yeah I remember it being all right it's got um what's the name in it Dara
- 42:11from bu yeah yeah and Dexter foret her name
- 42:17mhm right in listeners let us know what you thought of Rambo podcast at multip
- 42:21nerd gm.com M nerdgasm on Twitter multi nerdgasm on Facebook uh if you want to
- 42:25support the show head to patreon.com multiple nerdgasm for as little as $1 a
- 42:29month you can help us out and uh for five bucks a month you get the show
- 42:33early and for 10 bucks a month you get the Afterparty which is uh an extra 10 20
- 42:38minutes of our babbling on about [ __ ] yeah it is but only for special
- 42:45people yeah special people who who pay for it yeah
- 42:50yeah you pay me I'll do anything okay speaking of which that's a good segue um
- 42:56Matt there's book coming out that you might be interested in um okay the book
- 43:01is called David Lynch comma
- 43:07nudes okay yeah by David Lynch who uh I know like you're a big fan of yeah
- 43:14you're a big fan um but but I'll just I'll just preface this by saying the
- 43:19nudes are not of
- 43:22himself good yeah um but apparently David Lynch for quite some time now has
- 43:29been taking a lot of pictures of naked women okay that mean it doesn't really
- 43:36surprise me no nor should it um he's taken so many that he's finally gone
- 43:42might put these all into a book so I might put these all into a book is how
- 43:47is how he said it don't watch it on your iPhone whatever you
- 43:53do the book he well he hates that oh he does he does he does yes sorry he
- 44:00[ __ ] went he had a big rant on YouTube about it who uh cuz that's not
- 44:06how he makes movies to be watched and you know what if it came from anyone
- 44:10else I might have I might have listened but he has stopped making good movies
- 44:16and now he just [ __ ] shoots on his handic cam in his own house with his friends
- 44:22so I'm not going to bother going to the [ __ ] Cinema to watch that [ __ ] he did make
- 44:27he did make the new season TN Peaks and I like that lot couldn't do it couldn't
- 44:31get past the first episode so yeah I mean I don't know the kind of pictures
- 44:37nude pictures that David Lynch would take but I have a feeling it's probably
- 44:43stuff you could get into mant all right you know I mean there's
- 44:49certain people that just kind of share an aesthetic taste and I think you can
- 44:54probably trust that David Lynch is going to satisfy your appetite you know this
- 45:01is quote from David Lynch on the book I like to photograph naked
- 45:06women yep is that on the back just like the quote you know there's always there's
- 45:13another sentence after that but that I just that is a great quote photog hang
- 45:18that there yeah I love David Lynch Luke I'm listening to his uh his his book uh
- 45:24it's called space to drink name I think it's called it's it's an audio book and
- 45:29it's it's no interest in hearing what he has to say mate it's great I'll go and
- 45:34watch last Highway again but I'm not going it's narrated by the author who's
- 45:38this this woman wrote the book it's like an autobiography it's narrated by her
- 45:41but then he pops in after each chapter and just [ __ ] tells you a story for
- 45:46about an hour oh my about all the stuff that he comes in a check on how
- 45:50everyone's going he just pops in there and just tells you a bunch of anecdotes
- 45:54insan it's great so Matt I mean for you like I was saying I can't think of a
- 45:59better person to curate your porn um David Lynch Luke can you can you think
- 46:05of who you would trust like if if there was someone who came out with a with a
- 46:10book of nudes that you'd be like well I'll get that because I know that I'm going to like
- 46:17that um oh I do have something I just can't think of their name give me a
- 46:20second um Igor
- 46:24right what the [ __ ] yeah yeah look Luke has said in the past that Edgar right
- 46:30his favorite director he said that yep God what would it I trust what he come
- 46:35out with I couldn't remember his name fore there be there' just be lots of
- 46:41really fast Cuts yeah a lot of Montage of closeups and you get to see exactly how
- 46:48I like the closeup of the zipper unzipping and then like the pants come
- 46:52down with like sound effects that's right yeah you just want to keep moving
- 46:57you don't want to focus on the same [ __ ] for two long then it would cut to a
- 47:00watch and then it cut to them having already had sex just lying there cut to
- 47:04a closeup of Simon P he says I've got the opener in my hand yeah and then it
- 47:08just shows him drinking a beer cuz he's an alcoholic would you like to now know
- 47:13my view on sex yes I think now is a perfect time very much so you do things
- 47:18in your own way and prefer getting pleasure by doing it by yourself even in
- 47:23sex as you see sex as a bother what but you this is exactly how it says this is
- 47:29exactly how it says this is exactly how it's written I'll read that again you do
- 47:34things in your own way and prefer getting pleasure by doing it by yourself
- 47:39even in sex as you see sex as a bother okay but your five sense and it does say
- 47:45sense not senses are welldeveloped and you are sexually very sensitive once you
- 47:50become more adventurous you'll surprise yourself by how much you enjoy sex you
- 47:55slowly reach orgas in a normal way rather than trying bizarre Acts or
- 48:00aboral Styles try to G more Variations by getting to know each other's bodies
- 48:05well what questions they ask lot there's a lot to unpack there all right let's go
- 48:11line by line now were you drunk when you took this personality test that you don't
- 48:18remember these questions like what the [ __ ] did they ask
- 48:21you it said that you you you find sex bothersome and that you'd rather just
- 48:27masturbate that's that's my biggest take away from it it also knows that you
- 48:33masturbate into strange objects why are you saying that like
- 48:39it's fact no I'm just saying you took this test before you got the eightball
- 48:44before you got the camora so you know there's existing evidence that you've
- 48:50already you know I mean for starters
- 48:55whoever wrote this report on you seems to be trying to get you to
- 49:00[ __ ] them you know by by the second half of it starts saying things like come on
- 49:05just try sex you'll like it try it SC to go
- 49:10yeah I get confused by the fact that says once you become more adventurous
- 49:14you'll start to enjoy SE more but then it says
- 49:20you orasm slowly I'll slowly reach orgasm in normal ways rather than trying
- 49:25to bizarre normal Styles like do you want me to be adventurous or you want to
- 49:29be plain like what do you want and
- 49:32ab Styles what did you tell them you you
- 49:37did I don't know I really don't know it wasn't in English I remember that well
- 49:42they were probably as shocked as you are on a they were so shocked they had to write
- 49:47in a little report that said listen Maybe in time when your confidence is up
- 49:52you can try having regular normal sex mate that that thing you told us you do
- 49:58you need to stop doing that that is that is I got this done at seag
- 50:03world I was that Seager world when I got this start sort of like an indoor sort
- 50:09of theme park thing that had like lots of rides and computer games and stuff
- 50:12still a Sega world for St was the man dressed as Sonic the Hedgehog giving you
- 50:16the the the test well I don't but though there was a lot of wrting there there
- 50:21was even like um oh who's Ace atorney
- 50:27there was a whole like there was a whole game of that and you had to go around
- 50:30and get Clues wasn't in English had no idea what I was doing but I did it
- 50:34that's amazing those games are great we need to go to Japan and do it yeah I
- 50:39need to go to Japan in general yeah it's going to be [ __ ] cool 2020 let's do
- 50:43it Japan 2020 I speaking of Phoenix R actually I've been playing uh one of the
- 50:48Phoenix r games on my on my DS but I've been lured away from it this week by a
- 50:54game that I have talked about before uh luk have you used your switch at all I
- 51:00was actually using it today what were you doing with it I was playing Super
- 51:03Mario Party oh yeah cool I lost twice that game does not reward being good no
- 51:10rewards failure yes man I miss Mario Party I've been playing crash lands on
- 51:16my switch and that is a game what's crash lands you might you may recall
- 51:20this might sound familiar because I've talked I've kind of raved about this
- 51:23years ago when it came out on iOS it is
- 51:26is a uh a kind of isometric uh
- 51:31combination of sort of it's sort of kind of daoy but it's also kind of land
- 51:36crafty cuz you build stuff and you're a you're a space uh
- 51:42post person like package delivery person and your ship gets shot down it's like a
- 51:47it's kind of it's a funny game it's a comedy game um okay ship gets busted up
- 51:51and you end up on this planet called wope and uh you basically have to you
- 51:56know collect all the bits and pieces to put your [ __ ] back together and have
- 51:58adventures in these kind of goat creatures you talk to and um it's like I
- 52:03played a ton of it on my um on my phone and then I got the switch version and
- 52:09logged into my account in there and then I could continue the game that I was
- 52:15playing like two years ago oh that's [ __ ]
- 52:19great so so that was a nice surprise but uh but yeah it's it's just I'm watching
- 52:25the trailer for now you know what it reminds me of the art style Tow Jam and
- 52:29Earl oh sure yeah yeah yeah it's very quirky uh like it's very funny like it's
- 52:34just it's super fun you know you start out with with very basic equipment and
- 52:39then you go and you build yourself started very basic equipment yeah the
- 52:45opener is very basic mhm
- 52:48um but yeah highly recommended on switch
- 52:52uh it's like uh it's like the iOS version except you don't have to use a
- 52:58touchcreen if you don't want to which is nice cuz that's one of the things I
- 53:01don't like about playing games on on my phone
- 53:06is if if it's if it's a game that could have a like a d-pad and they put like a
- 53:12d-pad on the screen I [ __ ] hate that no I find that with the touch
- 53:16screens having the games where you need like a d-pad it just on the touch screen
- 53:21it just doesn't quite work right yes I haven't played a game on on my phone in years
- 53:27years I think it was designed for the and and to be fair the the the uh the
- 53:32iOS version of crashlands wasn't wasn't as wasn't like that you you just kind of
- 53:36touched where you wanted to walk to but still I just prefer having the d-pad but
- 53:40the thing with the switch is you can do it either way
- 53:43so and switch is great I don't know I keep thinking I want to try and play all
- 53:47the switch more I might start taking it to work it's great man it's [ __ ]
- 53:50great well I had I had to go out and buy extra controllers so I could have full
- 53:55play Mario
- 54:17[Music]
- 54:37[Music]
- 54:56I can start playing Minecraft on it and Xbox achievements right I just don't
- 55:01care about achievements I don't care well it's because your achievement is
- 55:06score is nothing compared to mine Fair no but I think achievements they're
- 55:13one of the things that when you start off they a bit of fun and then you sort
- 55:17of stop caring about them but then when you get past a certain
- 55:20level they that's all you care about and I'm at that level where yeah I
- 55:26need more oh I'm back to 15 in Australia oh goodness impressive I'm in a fight
- 55:32for between 15 yeah I just got 15 back so yeah I'm fighting with someone to
- 55:37keep it there's like 300 points between us wow no I've been trying I've been
- 55:41chasing him for a while ever since I went to um America for E3 I sort of lost
- 55:45a few positions so it's been hard to get them back I think we're going to do that
- 55:49next year E3 I wanted to go again do it but actually go to E3 yes might see if I
- 55:54can get cheap tick airplane tick I'll do it especially if you guys are going to
- 55:58be there well we do want to be so we have there's some followup this week
- 56:02from something you guys talked about last week actually when I wasn't here uh I did listen
- 56:07obviously make make an effort to listen uh and I had heard about this too this
- 56:11was kind of a big deal on the on the interwebs mhm
- 56:14mhm uh The Fallout 76 bag gate oh yeah
- 56:19Canvas Bag versus uh do you hear how it got worse did it get worse for a bit did
- 56:25it notic it's sort of there was one thing sort of got worse my my my
- 56:30favorite thing about it when it first happened was the I don't know if you I
- 56:33don't think you guys mentioned this but was the response from Bethesda when that
- 56:36guy logged a ticket and he said um yeah that guy so got fired there was someone
- 56:41wrote in and said hey the bag I got that I paid two $300 for is a piece of [ __ ]
- 56:46what are you guys planning on doing about it and the guy from Bethesda
- 56:49replied and said not planning on doing anything about it like
- 56:55okay well W yeah okay so yeah they've actually come out and said that hey we
- 57:00will honor it now Lodge a ticket with us by this state and we'll send you uh Canvas Bag
- 57:05once grudgingly did it not sure when we're going to do it but if you LOD your
- 57:11ticket within the next four weeks then
- 57:14whenever we do it we'll send you one seeing as you're paid for what happened
- 57:19with this I'm might try ticket tickets you loged the ticket and you
- 57:25could see everyone else's tickets as well oh god oh so all of their details
- 57:32like emails addresses like everything was on there so yeah that didn't go down well
- 57:38either I don't understand how that that can happen like tickets that's a normal
- 57:43thing how do you screw up like that they're getting crucified over this for
- 57:48that mitigated disaster I like Bethesda but this is not good like this is making
- 57:54me like normally you sort of forgive their games for being buggy sure because
- 57:59like all their games have released buggy it's part of the charm of
- 58:03the yeah you can kick a skull and flies off into the distance but the game have
- 58:08been good this time though there's no game well there is it's just not like
- 58:12not a good game like at the end of like Fallout 4 and all the fallouts and stuff
- 58:17is where you start wandering around just trying to find all the cool cool stuff
- 58:20that's around and but there's still still a story in there that you did
- 58:25before you got to that point yeah but um obsidian they're releasing a new game
- 58:30soon that's being sort of [ __ ] mate that looks like it looks excellent does is
- 58:35like well they're the ones that made um for that New Vegas yep so people are
- 58:41already sort of comparing this sort of space game to like nowbody Fall New
- 58:47Vegas it's actually got a dialogue tree you select the dialogue option you don't
- 58:51just hit a button that's like a vague response and then he says something sort
- 58:55of related to what you would hoping he would say yeah see I was so hoping that when
- 59:01there was a new foret 76 coming it was going to be like a New Vegas like he's
- 59:05the Fallout 4 engine MH like he's a new world go I just don't
- 59:12think they could do a massively multiplayer game and I'm going to like
- 59:15it as much as I like the single player ones yeah I mean it's it's like when
- 59:20Elder Scrolls Online came out yeah exactly right like that did better though but I still
- 59:26had literally no interest in playing it other than the fact that I had a little
- 59:31bit of fomo because I knew I was missing out on Elder Scrolls
- 59:36content but the thing about the Elder Scrolls one there was still like a story
- 59:40there you'd meet people you could talk to them and they'd send you on quests
- 59:44with Fallout there's just nothing well I have zero interest in playing Fallout 76
- 59:48and I'm I'm sure I Prett much finished I have bought two
- 59:52consoles for Fallout games Fallout I will not I would not even be buying this
- 59:57game I think yeah Bethesda they've really screwed up and problem is their
- 1:00:02next game's probably a year or two away at least cuz what is their next game
- 1:00:07after this uh yeah I don't know like I honestly don't know what it is like it's
- 1:00:13look I don't know either but I'm I don't care because I'm perfectly happy just
- 1:00:15ride my horse around now oh there's a doom sequel coming out oh Doom that
- 1:00:21probably be good but the the really next big one I think it's like the new Skyrims is
- 1:00:26like Elder Scrolls that's I think like two years away at least yeah we got to
- 1:00:30wait for that like their big money Spinners are yeah and I think they were hoping this
- 1:00:36one was going to stay around for a little while and they're going to make
- 1:00:38some money off it but even the atoms which are the in-game currency that you
- 1:00:44spend like I've got a couple of thousand of them there's nothing I
- 1:00:49want like I go in and have a look and I go yeah I can buy that but I don't see
- 1:00:54the point in it but I'm also not their target audience what kind of things can
- 1:00:58you buy uh you can buy like stuff for your Camp to make it
- 1:01:02prettier like Flags or different styles of stuff and I'm just I my Camp consists
- 1:01:09of a storage bin and
- 1:01:15weapon yeah when we're playing Conan and uh and we had these like kind of nice
- 1:01:20houses and Luke just had this [ __ ] H yeah yeah and then both of us slept on
- 1:01:24the floor they built second houses elsewhere like really stylized artistic
- 1:01:31houses it looks like that he pulls over himself at [Laughter]
- 1:01:37night I I miss I miss that game where we going to spend mostan today like when I
- 1:01:43was playing that and I was right into it I could think about nothing else other
- 1:01:47than that game and for that brief moment we we had that server that we were all
- 1:01:50on I [ __ ] loved that I mean the fact that that server was clunky iume that's
- 1:01:54gone now yeah it just disappeared and I wrote to them I'm like where the [ __ ]
- 1:01:58my server and they were like uh it's gone and I was like oh thanks where the
- 1:02:04[ __ ] does that mean yeah that just but then it just disappeared and they were
- 1:02:08like every time I tried and log on subscription only lasts 3 months and I'm
- 1:02:13like well it doesn't roll over or I get a notification no no no we just we just
- 1:02:17terminate it like oh well that's [ __ ] great isn't it fuing ridiculous I so
- 1:02:23wish we were about 20 years younger and had the same money we do now yeah [ __ ]
- 1:02:28yeah man that'd be great that would have been nuts the same amount of time we had as
- 1:02:34well none of this work the problem is the only reason we have money is cuz we
- 1:02:37work so don't think it's going to really work work cycle yeah you know where we
- 1:02:43could go that costs a bit of money where's that the [Music]
- 1:02:49Afterparty after party patreon.com multiple nerdgasm if you want in on this
- 1:02:55[ __ ] that's all for this week thank you for listening and we hope you enjoyed the
