Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:04
Yesterday we were talking about the New Yorker article that
0:07
profiled Vicky Ward's involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein case and
0:13
the now infamous two thousand and three Vanity Fair article. Now,
0:19
we heard from Maria and Annie Farmer for a very
0:23
long time about Vicky Ward's in action, how she didn't
0:27
report the whole story, and how she omitted the truth. Now,
0:33
Vicky Ward, she says that it wasn't her fault. It
0:37
was the paper's fault. It was Graydon Carter's fault. It
0:40
was everybody's fault but hers. Meanwhile, she's the one who
0:44
penned the piece. She's the one who is the alleged journalist. Right,
0:49
But you let someone like Graydon Carter kill your story.
0:53
You mean to tell me you have no other friends
0:55
in the media, nobody else that works for a publication
1:00
that you could have hit up and said, hey, look
1:02
this is what I got. I want you to check
1:04
the very check the and verify it, make sure it's right,
1:07
and then I want you to run it. You mean
1:09
to tell me nobody else would have had the courage
1:11
to do it. I mean, maybe not. We've seen how
1:15
the legacy media protected Epstein for a long time, so
1:19
maybe not. But one thing is for sure, Vicky warr
1:22
trying to pass the buck, trying to make it somebody
1:27
else's fault is just unacceptable. She eft up here, and
1:32
that's just the way of it, and her not going
1:36
to bat for the survivors, not going to bat for
1:39
Annie and Maria after they spoke with her in confidence,
1:44
you know, trusted her to try and help them get justice,
1:48
and for them to not have her push the ball
1:54
down the field for them after interviewing them and having them,
1:58
you know, expose everything that happened, and for her not
2:02
to use that in the story and to go on
2:04
and write a glowing piece about Epstein is just the
2:07
nail in the coffin. So this morning we have an
2:12
article from the Daily Beast, and this article is Vicky
2:16
Ward's response to the article yesterday from The New Yorker.
2:21
Now you all know how I feel about context, right,
2:24
and I want to know the whole story. I'm not
2:26
here to just hear one side of the story. Ever,
2:28
I want all of the evidence, as much context as possible,
2:31
so that I can make as much of an informed
2:34
decision about what I believe as possible. So let's see
2:39
what Vicky Ward has to say for herself, shall we?
2:43
Like I said, this article is from the Daily Beast
2:46
and the author is Kate Bricklett. Headline Epstein journalist Vicky
2:51
Ward hits back at the New Yorker end Grayden Carter.
2:55
So for Vicky Ward's part, it's always been it's the
2:58
blame is Grayden Carter's. She doesn't shoulder any of this blame.
3:02
You know, she was just a reporter trying to get
3:06
a story out there. She wasn't part of the you know,
3:09
the social scene or anything like that. Again, another one
3:11
of these people that would have you believe that they're helpless.
3:17
Journalist Vicky Ward has released what she claims are select
3:20
transcripts related to her two thousand and three Vanity Fair
3:24
profile of Jeffrey Epstein, following a critical New Yorker examination
3:29
into why accusations from two of his survivors were asked
3:33
from her expose. Now, it's nice to see the legacy
3:37
media catching up to all of this. But we've been
3:40
talking about this for over a year and Vicky Ward
3:46
and her role in helping, you know, build Epstein's profile,
3:54
helping his rise. You know, a glowing article like this
3:58
can only help enable Jeffrey Epstein and his disgusting behaviors.
4:04
You're basically giving him credibility. Wart's transcripts, which appear edited
4:11
and do not include any audio, portray then Vanity Fair
4:15
editor in chief Graydon Carter as allegedly saying the abuse
4:18
of a sixteen year old was not that earth shattering.
4:22
I mean, wow, really, And again, look, I wasn't there.
4:25
I'm not sitting here trying to defend Grayden Carter either.
4:27
He's a piece of shit. You're the editor, bro, run
4:31
the story. What are you scared of? All of these
4:33
people who are scared of these so called elite. It's
4:36
just mind boggling to me. They only have the power
4:39
that you give them back. In two thousand and two,
4:44
Ward had interviewed siblings Annie and Maria Farmer for her
4:47
thorough piece The Talented Mister Epstein, but their claims of
4:51
sexual abuse at the hands of Epstein and his ex
4:53
girlfriend and accomplice and you know, convicted human trafficker and
4:57
you know child abuser Glenn mack Well never made it
5:01
to the final copy. Late last year, Annie was one
5:04
of four survivors to testify at Maxwell's criminal case. So again,
5:09
what it does. It just shines a terrible light on
5:12
Vicky Ward. You mean to tell me you had the
5:15
information from Annie Farmer all of those years ago and
5:20
you didn't run it. And now fast forward to twenty
5:23
twenty two, twenty twenty one, and those allegations are the
5:28
ones that are used to get a conviction on Maxwell.
5:32
As a journalist, you shit the bed, and as a
5:35
human being, you're not a very good one. Ward has
5:41
argued Vanity Fairs Carter caved to pressure from Epstein and
5:45
acts the farmers from the Scoop against her wishes, And again,
5:49
this is a bunch of he said. She said, how
5:51
do we know who did what or who didn't do what.
5:53
The fact of the matter is, everybody involved with the
5:56
decision making process not to run the story is is
6:00
shouldering their share of the blame. And for Vicky Ward
6:04
to act like she had nothing to do with it,
6:06
it's just it's ridiculous, And I don't know anyone who
6:09
believes that. On Tuesday, The New Yorker published a deeper
6:16
dive into Ward's assertions of having no say in the
6:19
farmers being silenced and revealed a more nuanced and less
6:23
favorable picture of why War didn't break the Epstein trafficking story.
6:28
The legacy media was protecting Jeffrey Epstein. That's what it was, Okay,
6:33
the same legacy media that wants you to hate your cousin,
6:36
hates your neighbor. Yeah, that's same exact legacy media. And
6:41
it's ridiculous. Vicky Ward, Vanity Fair, Graden Carter, everybody else
6:47
involved this short. This story should have run, and if
6:49
it did, who knows how many girls and women it
6:53
could have saved from a lifetime of misery at the
6:57
hands of Jeffrey Epstein. But no, you could run the story, right,
7:01
You're too worried that Jeffrey Epstein might be mad at you.
7:04
He might show up in his goofy ass slippers and
7:06
his slippers and his mom jeans, and then what what's
7:09
he going to do? The article by New Yorker scribe
7:16
Isaac Chottner also examined Wards for giving twenty and eleven
7:20
take on Epstein and Maxwell that glossed over their alleged
7:23
abuse of young women. And you see, if it was
7:26
one mistake, you could say, all right, well, she made
7:28
a mistake, but there's a history of this refurbishing Jeffrey
7:32
Epstein's reputation, helping build it back up, and then in
7:38
twenty and eleven writing another glossy piece on Epstein on Maxwell.
7:46
Now fast forward to today, and we should all believe
7:49
that you're some hard charging journalist who is looking for
7:52
the truth the whole entire time. He has zero chance
7:54
that's gonna happen on this show. In response, war tweeted
8:01
that Chattner's article was riddled with malicious inaccuracies and that
8:05
she was going to release the transcripts of what Graydon
8:08
Carter and Maria and Annie Farmer said to me back
8:11
then so that you can read it for yourself and
8:14
judge off what Vanity Fair did was right. So again,
8:17
it's the blame game. Nobody ever wants to take responsibility
8:21
for the things that they screwed up. I'm so glad
8:26
that one of the things that was just pounded into
8:29
my head as a child was self responsibility. You mess up,
8:33
you own up, and you move on. You fix it
8:35
if you can, and if not, you make sure you
8:38
never do it again in the future. We don't see
8:40
that from Vicky Ward. But Ward told The Daily Beast
8:47
that she had decided against releasing her transcribed conversations with
8:50
Annie and Maria. Yeah. Good idea, that's told to you
8:54
in confidence. You've already, you know, hurt the process with
8:58
Maria and Annie long enough. Now you're talking about, oh,
9:02
maybe I'll release transcripts, and again, how do we even
9:05
know if they're real. I'm not trying to sound like
9:07
a dick here, right, or a cynical skeptic. But again,
9:12
I don't just trust people anymore. You know, there's no
9:15
journalists out there where I'm like, oh, yeah, whatever they say,
9:18
I trust. I have to verify everything I read these days.
9:29
I decided it would be wrong to put those out
9:31
Ward said on Wednesday. At the end of the day,
9:34
they don't need it. They've been through enough, and that
9:37
is more important than defending myself. Well, we can agree
9:40
on that. One thing is for sure. All of the
9:42
survivors here have been through more than enough. Annie and
9:48
Marias especially, So you got Vicky Ward out here making
9:53
things more difficult. It's not a good look. I'm very
9:59
upset that they're upset. Ward added on the farmers, I
10:02
feel that we're aligned that we're all fighting the same system,
10:06
and I hope they're able to get some clarity from
10:08
reading what I wrote. Yeah, I highly doubt it. And
10:10
we're not all aligned. If we were all aligned, you
10:13
would have had that article out about Epstein in two
10:15
thousand and three, then another chance in twenty and eleven.
10:18
You didn't do it again. So what do you mean
10:20
we're all aligned. I'm not aligned with you. We're certainly
10:23
not allies. In her defense of her reporting, Ward focused
10:29
on what she said was Carter protecting the patriarchal system
10:33
that shored up Epstein rather than exposing it. Ah, what
10:37
a typical low hanging fruit to go to. So it's
10:39
the patriarchy. Huh. The patriarchy held you back from not
10:43
exposing this Again, you could have brought this information to
10:48
a million different outlets. You chose not to. You chose
10:51
to be silenced by Graydon Carter, or you chose to
10:55
help harbor the reputation of Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell.
10:59
Either way, you're a coward. Carter war told The Daily
11:05
Beast had a bromance with Epstein and said they formed
11:08
their own back channel to Underminer as she worked to
11:10
report on claims that Epstein prayed on young women. Again,
11:13
that might be true. I'm not saying it's not. I
11:15
don't know. I wasn't there, and I'm sure Graydon Carter
11:18
isn't a great person either. But for her to try
11:21
and you know, shrug off all of the responsibility onto
11:24
somebody else, it's disgusting. Take your piece of the blame
11:30
here and do a better job. She also said she's
11:37
been marginalized by sexist journalism utilizing anonymous sources, and questioned
11:42
the purpose of the New Yorker piece, which she described
11:45
as vindictive, personal, slanted, and inaccurate. I mean, look, this
11:51
is the way of it, Vicky Ward. You're out here,
11:55
you know, somebody who is hanging out with Glene Maxwell,
11:58
friendly with them, right, puff pieces on them, and then
12:02
when the chickens come home to roost, now it's about
12:06
the patriarchy and and how uh you know it's sexist.
12:11
Come on, man, What that does is it just takes
12:18
all responsibility away from her for her actions and says, oh,
12:24
it's the system's fault, why I reacted this way. Guess what,
12:28
you sometimes you got to be willing to go against
12:31
the system. You have to be willing to put it
12:33
all on the line. On Wednesday, word defender defended herself
12:39
in her Substack newsletter with a post titled what the
12:42
New Yorker got Wrong. She took shots at Carter, whom
12:45
she accused of being a self congratulatory male adoration club
12:49
with Epstein again with the attack on mails, and it's
12:53
all guys fault, I mean, don't don't get me wrong. Well,
12:56
plenty of scumbag dudes, right, but in this specific instance,
13:00
has nothing to do with it. She could have went
13:03
to anybody with this story, she did not. She chronicled
13:08
what she claimed were written records of certain conversations between
13:11
herself and Epstein and Carter, and a conference call with
13:14
the two men, and other damning details about her old boss.
13:18
She claimed she provided these transcripts to Chattener, but he
13:21
didn't include them in his story. Are they both under age?
13:25
Carter allegedly asked Ward of the farmers, and again he
13:28
didn't include it in his story. How's he going to
13:30
verify it? If anyone can hand over some notes and
13:33
be like, oh, these are the actual notes, these are
13:36
the notes, But how can someone verify that? So I
13:39
don't blame Chottenner for not running that one was in
13:45
her very early twenties. Ward replied, and one was sixteen. Okay,
13:49
the sixteen, I mean, what people do in their private
13:52
lives I mean is not that, you know, earth shattering.
13:55
I think the money thing is more interesting. Carter allegedly said, Now,
13:58
I do not doubt that these dudes have no they
14:01
don't care if someone's sixteen, what do they care. They
14:04
have all the money in the world, all the power
14:06
in the world. They can get away with whatever they want.
14:09
So to Carter, that's just a shoulder shrugging situation, because,
14:13
like we always talk about, that kind of shit is
14:16
normalized for these sick people in her substack. Rebuttal Ward
14:21
wrights think about that sixteen what people do in their
14:25
private lives is not that earth shattering in hindsight, the
14:28
poor farmers didn't stand a chance against that attitude, nor
14:32
did I again setting herself up as a victim as well, Sorry,
14:36
Vicky Ward, You're not a victim. You were in a
14:39
position where you could have made a change, You could
14:41
have made a difference, and you did not. That's what
14:44
it all comes down to. Right Ward also alleges Carter
14:49
himself behaved inappropriately by dishing the details of his private
14:53
life that involved the former employee, She writes, And how
14:57
did he think I felt during years of being on
14:59
the receiving end of critical remarks about my clothes, mutton
15:03
dressed as lamb my face, save the botox for when
15:06
you need it? And my marriage again, what does any
15:09
of that have to do with anything? Trying to set
15:11
herself up and build this profile of Oh woe is me,
15:14
poor Vicky Ward? And if he was such an asshole
15:17
and such a dick and vanity fair was such a
15:20
bad outlet to ride for, why wouldn't you go over
15:23
their head and try and scoop them and give the
15:25
story to someone else. Unfortunately, it seems that the same
15:30
misogyny is prevalent at the top of Conde Nasty today.
15:33
Ward ads bash the woman is the message, rather than
15:37
report the inconvenient facts. The same patriarchy that victimized and
15:41
tortured these women is once again circling the wagons to
15:44
protect itself. I mean, is she for real? This is
15:49
just I really doubt anyone believes that. Okay, to try
15:54
and use that as your defense is just wow. I
16:00
don't even know what else to say about that. As
16:02
for comment on Ward's accusations, Carter said in an email, sorry,
16:06
it's impossible to deal with the serial liar. Nothing Vicky
16:09
Ward says is true nothing, As McCarthy said of Lillian Hellman, Carter,
16:14
referring to dueling writers Mary McCarthy and Lillian Hellman, would
16:18
not comment further when asked if Ward's transcripts are fake. Again,
16:22
nobody knows who knows what she wrote. Meanwhile, Ward's apparent
16:28
transcripts of her calls with Epstein don't reveal her directly
16:31
grilling him about Annie and Maria's sexual abuse accusations. There
16:35
was the implication that Maria Farmer finally Ohio or left
16:40
because she felt there was some sort of sexual pressure.
16:43
Ward told Epstein, who replied for who Ward answered from you.
16:48
Ward told the Daily Beasts that later she sent Epstein
16:50
a list of specific questions via facts, and that call
16:54
with the financier was only an initial conversation. She can't
16:57
even get her real her story right. So again, I
17:00
just I don't believe any of it, and obviously it's
17:03
up to all of you to believe what you want
17:05
to believe. But for me, none of this makes sense,
17:08
and it just seems like another cover your ass situation.
17:14
I'm feeling him out in the call, and then he
17:16
goes to see Graydon Carter. Ward said, then Graydon told
17:20
me the next day that he believes Jeffrey Epstein over
17:23
the Farmers. So again it's all great war. Graydon Carter's fault, right,
17:27
And don't get me wrong, scumbag. But Vicky Ward, you're
17:30
not an adult here. You're just somebody who stands around.
17:33
You're an automaton who does what they're told. Both Annie
17:40
and Maria have said Vanity Fair's exclusion of their interviews
17:43
and corroborating information from their mother was painful for their family,
17:48
and that in recent years, when Ward wanted to interview
17:50
them again, Maria had to tell her to stop harassing them.
17:54
Maria told The Daily Beast that the New Yorker story
17:57
was an incomplete analysis of her lies and her cover
17:59
of for her friends Jeffrey and Galaane. No matter what
18:03
Vicky Ward does, it's to help Vicky Ward, Maria fumed,
18:07
Vicky Ward has never once cared about the children involved
18:09
in this story. About my baby sister, who is fifteen
18:12
when this happened, she doesn't care about anything but prestige
18:15
and money. Maria is not wrong there, She's one hundred
18:18
percent correct. That's all these people care about. How do
18:21
I further my career? And if that means harboring the
18:26
reputation of somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, well so be it.
18:31
Maria said that when the Epstein case made headlines in
18:34
recent years, Ward would contact her and her family and
18:37
hound them for interviews via phone and in letters. She
18:40
has milked us to death. Maria said, I have a
18:43
real problem with Vicky because her story has never seemed
18:45
to line up. Maria added, how dare she try to
18:48
defend herself right now? And look the rage that Maria feels.
18:52
It's it's not fake, Okay, I know that for sure,
18:56
and I know that for a fact. Maria is she
19:00
feels very wronged by Vicky Ward, and I don't blame her. Annie,
19:06
in her own statement to The Daily Beast, said, Ward
19:08
appears to me to be more concerned about protecting her
19:11
reputation than she ever was about protecting girls and young
19:14
women from a pair of predators. Instead of pointing fingers.
19:18
I wish all parties were taking more ownership for their mistakes.
19:21
Annie continued, the dissection of what went wrong in two
19:24
thousand and two is relevant because many members of the
19:27
media still need to learn how to engage ethically with
19:30
individuals coming forward with allegations of abuse, rather than re
19:35
traumatize them and people in the media blue check marks
19:39
on Twitter especially, you should read that paragraph again. When
19:43
you have these survivors being more comfortable talking to people
19:47
in the independent media, independent content creators, than they are
19:51
just speaking to regular journalists who are supposed to be
19:54
digging for the truth, you know that there's a big problem.
19:57
And it just goes back to the fact that nobody
19:59
trusts the legacy media anymore because this is what happens.
20:03
They stick up for their buddies, predators go un called out,
20:07
and then when the chickens come home to roost, when
20:11
it's found out that you were up to nonsense, there's
20:14
never any apologies. It's just more, oh, it wasn't me,
20:18
and it's gross. It's disgusting, and people like Annie and Maria,
20:22
they deserve a lot better from the legacy media. Still
20:27
Ward says she is entitled to defend herself in light
20:30
of the New Yorker story, and she doesn't believe she's
20:32
done so at the farmer's expense. Look, I agree everyone
20:35
should be able to defend themselves, but with that said,
20:38
it doesn't mean I'm going to believe what you're pitching.
20:42
In recent years, Ward came forward to say that she
20:44
believes the farmers claims, and capitalized on the Epstein scandal
20:48
with a three parts special Chasing Glaine on Discovery Plus
20:53
and an audible podcast of the same title. It cracks
20:57
me up. I'm not gonna digress to far here, but
21:00
all of these podcasts that all of a sudden have
21:02
popped up recently about Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein comical
21:07
at best. She first accused Carter of excising the women
21:14
from her story in a twenty fifteen column for The
21:17
Daily Beast. It came down to my sources word against Epstein's,
21:21
and at the time Graydon believed Epstein. Ward wrote, in
21:24
my notebook, I have him saying I believe him. I'm Canadian,
21:28
what does that mean? I don't believe you and I'm Italian.
21:31
So put that in your pipe and smoke it. Chottner
21:34
interviewed Ward about his story of covering Epstein and Maxwell
21:37
after the latter was convicted in late December of grooming
21:40
girls for the multi millionaire Pedophile. Many of the things
21:44
she told me and had told her podcast listeners turned
21:48
out to be untrue, Chottenner writes, and for those of
21:50
you out there listening to the podcast right now, you
21:53
know for a fact that that's one of the number
21:55
one things when it comes to podcasts. That's important. Getting
21:58
the story straight and can consistency the two most important
22:02
things Ward has Neither is it a ten part series
22:05
where it's filled with all kinds of bs. According to Chattner,
22:10
all publications, including this one, at times look back on
22:13
stories and regret not pursuing them further. But Ward's claim
22:17
that Vanity Fair prevented her from exposing Epstein misrepresents a
22:21
more complicated reality. That's factual, definitely a more complicated reality.
22:26
But she could have made it less complicated by just
22:28
taking the story elsewhere. Again, I know that sounds easy,
22:32
and it's easy for me to say it's not my
22:34
livelihood on the line, But guess what, Sometimes you have
22:38
to have courage, and if you're going to be a journalist,
22:41
especially your job as a member of the Fourth Estate,
22:44
is to hold people of a power to account. Chattner,
22:50
adds Carter, who now says that he distrusted Ward as
22:53
a reporter, has offered conflicting explanations for his magazine's decision
22:58
not to run the sister's allegations. For her part, Ward
23:01
has repeatedly misrepresented her reporting on Epstein, changing her story
23:06
from year to year and at times from day to day,
23:09
and was a far less heroic actor than she would
23:12
have audiences believe. Yeah, it's nice to see Chatterer's getting
23:17
caught up on this. We've only been talking about this
23:19
for over two years. Maria was a twenty six year
23:24
old art student in New York when she met Epstein
23:26
in Maxwell and claims the duo sexually assaulted her in
23:29
nineteen ninety six. During the alleged assault, Farmer had been
23:33
staying at the home of Epstein's pal, former Limited Brands
23:37
chairman Les Wexner, and Maria's story is one that is
23:42
pretty uh disgusting and sad. She's told her story here
23:47
on this podcast before she's told it elsewhere. And I
23:51
think that Maria and Annie, if they would have just
23:56
been listened to, all of this could have been stopped.
24:01
The creepy couple also prayed on Maria's sixteen year old
24:04
sister Annie, who was growth by Maxwell during a visit
24:07
to Epstein's new Mexico compound. At Maxwell's criminal trial, Annie
24:11
said she was frozen in fear when the socialite, pedophile,
24:15
convicted human trafficker molested her. And again, we all heard
24:19
Annie's testimony, we all read it, and we all know
24:22
how harrowing that must have been for her. Last July,
24:26
Maria told Page six she was tired of Ward allegedly
24:29
profiting from her and Annie's experience with Epstein. I am horrified.
24:33
Just leave us alone. Can't you make money off of
24:35
other victims? Maria told the outlet. Ahead of Ward's podcast premiere.
24:39
She added, whenever we hear the name Vicky Ward, we cringe.
24:43
Ward responded that she made an effort to really apologize
24:46
to Maria in the podcast. She has done a great disservice.
24:49
Ward told Page six Epstein ruined her life. I'm hugely
24:53
sorry for my role in that. She obviously sees me
24:56
as the enemy, which is very upsetting. Well, look, you
25:00
had a chance to help her. You had a chance
25:02
to go and tell the world what happened. And you
25:05
did not. You sat on it. And because of that,
25:08
I can't even begin to tell you the struggles that
25:11
Maria has had since then, cancer issues with hiding from
25:16
these people. There's no way to live your life, and
25:19
she deserves a lot better than that from Vicky Ward
25:21
and the rest of these pieces of shit. In Schattner's piece,
25:26
Carter initially recalled that he edited Ward's first draft of
25:30
her two thousand and three story and that there was
25:32
no mention of young women in it. Emails showed, however,
25:36
that Ward had discussed the Farmer's sexual abuse accusations with
25:39
fact checkers and a photo editor weeks before her deadline.
25:43
Carter and I also spoke on the phone, Shotner writes,
25:46
and he told me that the decision not to run
25:49
the Farmer's allegation was likely influenced by Ward's professional reputation.
25:54
My staff, to a person, did not trust her. Then
25:57
why is she working for you? Why do we have
26:00
people in the media or in the journalist rooms who
26:04
are not trusted. If nobody trusts you and you're a liar,
26:07
why are you giving the news to the rest of us.
26:12
It's amazing to me. Fire her. Then in the three
26:16
years after Epstein's profile, Ward continue to write about the
26:19
wealthy sex offender and mingle with Maxwell and Manhattan society circles.
26:24
Her bylines included a casual two thousand and eight Vanity
26:27
Fair item about rumors that Epstein would flee to Israel
26:30
to avoid jail time for soliciting a minor in Florida.
26:34
The story closes with an impertinent exchange, Well, I guess
26:38
you and I have history by now, Jeffrey, I told them,
26:41
thinking of my two thousand and three article. He replied,
26:44
you know how many girls say that to me? Oh?
26:47
How cute? What a loving moment between you two absolute scoundrels.
26:54
The next column, in twenty and eleven, was effusive about Maxwell,
26:58
the very woman Annie used of abuse in an interview
27:01
with Ward about nine years before. So after that she
27:05
knew all of this, Vicky Ward, she had been hip
27:07
to all of this by Annie and Maria and had
27:10
hindsight as her benefit. And she's still hanging out with
27:13
Glene Maxwell. So anything she says after that should not
27:16
be taken seriously. This is not to say I didn't
27:22
hear stories about the girls, Ward wrote, I did, but
27:25
not knowing quite whom to believe. I concentrated on the
27:28
intriguing financial mystery instead, Ward added, and they didn't even
27:33
dig deep there. The financial aspect of this case is
27:35
one of the most interesting aspects to me, and for
27:39
her to act like she's really dug deep here is
27:41
laughable at best. Ward added, Sure, Jeffrey had his sexual peccadillos,
27:47
but then Glaane's father was not without his oddities. Again,
27:50
what about is? And what does that even mean? His peccadillos?
27:53
You mean abusing children and raping women. That's peccadillos to you. Huh.
27:58
I guess when you're part of the soap call Delite
28:00
and you do that sort of shit, It's just a peccadillo.
28:05
Ward says. Her original copy said we concentrated instead of
28:09
I because she wanted to cover for Vanity far and Carter.
28:12
She says she always believed the farmers, but an editor
28:15
changed your copy and made it seem otherwise. Oh is
28:19
that right again? And you never came out with your
28:22
own version? And Glaine full disclosure. I like her, most
28:27
people in New York do. It's almost impossible not to,
28:30
Ward wrote, She is always the most interesting, the most vivacious,
28:34
the most unusual person in any room. Oh, give me
28:37
a fucking break, breaking news. I guarantee you I know
28:40
people in New York who don't like Glaine Maxwell. Okay,
28:43
I promise you that she's not the most interesting person anywhere. Ever.
28:49
I've spent hours talking to her about the Third World?
28:51
Do you mean the developing world again? Remember, folks, when
28:55
these people are up there calling everybody else racist or
28:57
misogynists or whatever it might be, this is the way
29:00
they look at the developing world. Oh, it's the third world,
29:03
speaking of it in derogatory terms, like there's places. I've
29:10
spent hours talking to her about the Third World at
29:12
a bar until two am. She is as passionate as
29:15
she is knowledgeable. She is curious. She has spent weeks
29:18
at the bottom of the ocean, literally going deeper than
29:20
anyone else. She should have just stayed there, Okay, with
29:23
the world to be a better place. Nobody cares if
29:26
she's out here acting like Jacques Cousteau. Nobody gives a fuck.
29:31
Asked about this language, Ward told the Daily Beasts that
29:33
Maxwell had an extraordinary charisma, but claimed she didn't know
29:37
her well. She said they'd run into each other sporadically
29:40
at a book launch or a movie premiere. This is
29:42
somebody I would run into at an event. It's not
29:45
somebody I would be having lunch with. Ward said, I
29:47
think people have got the wrong impression. Ward added that
29:50
she had no idea the heiress, pedophile, human trafficker, child abuser,
29:57
procured children for Epstein. Nah, you had no idea. Nobody
30:00
knew anything. She's a journalist. It's her job to know.
30:04
But she had no idea. Sure, I think we should
30:06
just believe everything, Vicky Ward tells us. Ward told Schattner
30:11
that her draft was quite different from the finished feature
30:14
posted on Vanity Fair's website. This piece got sent to
30:18
Graydon and somebody altered it dramatically, Ward claimed, really really dramatically.
30:23
As proof Word forwarded Shatner her emails with Vanity Fair editors,
30:28
and her supposed first draft. According to Chotner, the draft
30:32
was extremely similar to the published piece, and specifically said
30:35
that she would she was unsure of whom to believe.
30:39
The sentence about sexual peccadillos was in that copy too.
30:43
Now again she's being called out here, she's being outed
30:48
aired out, and she's still not willing to take responsibility,
30:52
so I leave it up to you folks as usual,
30:55
to decide if her content's worth you even bothering with, Chotner, says.
31:01
Ward claims she included precise allegations from the farmers in
31:05
her twenty and eleven write up, but someone at Vanity
31:07
Fair removed them, but a copy of the draft, Chottner writes,
31:10
revealed that Annie's accusations about Maxwell's unwonted massage and Epstein
31:15
climbing into her bed had never been included. Asked why
31:19
Annie's claims about Maxwell were left out, Ward told Schottner,
31:22
I wish I could remember. She added that she was
31:25
deliberately covering for Carter, who denied Ward's claims. Who denied
31:29
Ward's claims, So you were covering for Carter, proving that
31:32
you're willing to lie, proving that you're willing to not
31:35
have a backbone. So again, blow the whole entire thing up.
31:39
They both get their share of the blame. Vicky Ward
31:41
as the author, Vicky Ward as the person who's supposed
31:44
to have the confidence of these girls, completely blew the
31:46
confidence out of the water, and now here we are.
31:52
Twenty eleven was a year I made a lot of
31:55
bad decisions, Ward said, mentioning that she was going through
31:57
a divorce. I was not mentally well. Oh please, none
32:01
of us are mentally well. Okay, try waking up every
32:03
single morning and not knowing where your next meal's coming
32:07
from or if your bills are going to be paid
32:08
that month. Chantner pressed Ward on why she wrote the
32:13
twenty eleven essay in light of her claims that Epstein
32:16
threatened her before the first prile A profile was published.
32:20
She replied, in part, I think the reason I did
32:22
it was that the media industry was imploding. And this
32:25
may seem bizarre, but by being able to write about
32:28
it so flippantly, I think it made me feel good. Actually,
32:31
the media was imploding. It's been imploding forever. So you
32:35
writing for about Epstein or this story is going to
32:37
save the media complex. Imagine having this kind of opinion
32:42
of yourself. Ward isn't the only high profile reporter covering
32:46
the Epstein case to come under fire. Last week, victims
32:50
Courtney Wilde and Hayley Robson filed a defamation suit against
32:53
storied Miami Herald journalist Julie K. Brown, saying she mis
32:58
excuse me saying she misrepresented their stories in her twenty
33:02
and twenty one book. Well, folks, again, that's why this
33:06
podcast exists, so that we can go through these stories
33:10
that come out on a daily basis, pick them apart,
33:13
find the golden gems, and discard the rest of it.
33:16
Because it's not just been Vicky Ward covering for Epstein.
33:21
It was the whole entire media complex up until about
33:23
twenty nineteen. So for these clowns to act like, you know, oh,
33:28
it was just Vicky Ward or just Graydon Carter, that's
33:30
a joke. But what Vicky Ward and Graydon Carter did here,
33:34
according to Maria and Annie, absolutely out of bounds, and honestly,
33:41
it goes a long way with helping Jeffrey Epstein and
33:44
Glenn Maxwell continue to do this. So Vicky Ward coming
33:49
out here trying to defend herself while she's more than
33:53
you know, able to do that, right, she should have
33:56
the right to defend herself. Again, it falls flat to me.
34:00
There's nothing there in this defense that would make me say, ah,
34:02
you know what, maybe I should reevaluate this, especially considering
34:06
i've i've I've spoken with Maria personally, so I don't
34:11
buy any of it. I've never bought Vicky Ward's story
34:14
and I've never really thought of her as a reliable
34:17
narrator as usual, though, I'll leave that up to you,
34:20
folks to decide. That's gonna do it for this morning's update.
34:25
I'll be back later on tonight obviously with you know,
34:28
the evening update, and until then some context episodes come
34:31
in your way. If you'd like to contact me, you
34:34
can do that at Bobby Capuci at Protonmeil dot com.
34:37
That's bo b b Y c ap you c c
34:40
I at Protonmeil dot com. You can also find me
34:44
on Twitter at bo bb y underscore c A p
34:48
U C c I. The link that we discussed can
34:51
be found in the description box. All right, everybody, I
34:54
will be back later on and I hope all of
34:56
you have a great morning. What's up every and welcome
35:01
back to the Epstein Chronicles. Hope that everybody out there
35:04
is having a gray morning so far. You know, I've
35:08
lived in the city my whole entire life. First I
35:11
lived in New York and then I moved to Las Vegas,
35:15
so I've never lived outside of the concrete jungle. Well, folks,
35:20
that's going to change. Recently, my girlfriend and I, Carrie,
35:24
we have started looking at land in places like Montana, Wyoming,
35:30
Northern Nevada, Idaho. You get the drift, and it's about
35:35
time for us to make our escape out of the city.
35:41
I used to love the city, folks, I used to
35:44
love the feel of it, you know, the the excitement,
35:47
the energy. But at least here in Las Vegas, that's
35:51
not the case anymore. Seems like every time I leave
35:54
the house, it's a whole entire ordeal. All kinds of
35:59
moron everywhere. Rude people, people who are just so caught
36:04
up in whatever kind of nonsense they have going on
36:07
that they can't be concerned with being kind to other
36:10
people or showing even the littlest amount of respect. And frankly,
36:16
I'm sick of it. I can't deal with it anymore.
36:19
I'm tired of it. I'm tired of the vibe, and
36:22
I'm just tired of just all of the sadness and
36:27
sorrow that you see in the big cities. I know
36:31
that I can leave my house right now and drive
36:33
for five minutes, five ten minutes tops, and be at
36:36
a homeless encampment, and I don't live in the middle
36:40
of the ghetto or anything like that. But it's endemic
36:44
everywhere you go, and for me, I've had enough. Are
36:50
local officials. They can't handle the situation. They're way too busy,
36:54
you know, shoving money in their pockets, being greedy, not
36:58
doing the right thing playing and meanwhile the rest of
37:02
us suffer. So for me, I'm hitting the ejec button, folks,
37:07
I am checking out and we're headed to the mountains
37:12
to them there mountains, because it's crazy every single time
37:17
I go out. I mean personally, I don't have to
37:21
deal with it for the most part, I just I
37:23
keep my distance from people in general. I don't get
37:26
caught up in any kind of like road rage types
37:29
of situations. I may leave me alone and I'll leave
37:32
you alone kind of person these days. But it's just
37:35
the things that I observe while I'm out, people fighting
37:38
in line at the grocery store. Oh you're too close
37:41
to me. Oh you're not wearing a mask, and it's
37:44
just all crazy to me. And while we're busy dealing
37:48
with that nonsense, arguing with each other at each other's throats,
37:52
the scumbags like Glain Maxwell and her friends, well they're
37:55
having a field day. Have you taken a look at
37:58
the transfer of wealth throughout this pandemic from the bottom up?
38:02
If not, I suggest you do so to get some
38:04
perspective about who the true enemy really is. And I
38:08
promise you it's not some dunderhead on Twitter who has
38:11
a different opinion than you do about vaccines or politics.
38:16
Those aren't your enemies. Your enemies are the people behind
38:20
the scenes pulling the strings. Those are our enemies. And
38:24
for me, I'm not gonna play the game. I'm not
38:28
playing that game where I hate people or I'm rude
38:31
to people who have different opinions than me. I don't
38:34
live in an echo chamber of folks. And one of
38:37
the things I'm proudest of about this podcast is that
38:40
there's so many people from so many different walks of
38:42
life who listen to it. Hardcore socialists, hardcore maga folks,
38:48
and they all get it right. People out there who
38:50
are listening to me, they understand I'm not somebody sitting
38:53
here with an extra grind. I don't really care about
38:55
either of these ridiculous political parties. I spent too much
39:00
time carrying water for them when I was younger, and
39:03
now that the curtain's been pulled back. I don't have
39:06
any I don't have a dog in the fight. If
39:09
you will, I think both sides are absolutely harmful to us,
39:13
and I don't think either side has any good ideas
39:15
at this point. So for me, the best move is
39:19
to just eject and get out of that rat race.
39:22
And that's my plan, folks, to buy a piece of
39:24
land and a couple of animals and call it a day.
39:28
So I've been doing that the last couple of days. Well,
39:31
I've had a little bit of downtime, and man oh man,
39:35
what a bunch of beautiful parcels of land I've found.
39:39
So hopefully by the end of the year I'll be
39:42
able to get out of Dodge and at the very
39:44
least buy my piece of land and start working on it.
39:48
Plan on also while I'm there, to benefit for everybody,
39:51
by the way, having a studio built, a pretty uh
39:56
self contained studio right there on the property, so I
39:58
don't have to leave anymore either. That's the biggest plan.
40:01
I want enough land where I don't have to leave
40:04
if I don't want to. I could wake up in
40:05
the morning, hop on my ATV, go drive around, go fishing.
40:09
Whatever it might be. But this city rat race that
40:13
I've been living in for forty one years, Yeah, that's
40:16
over for me, folks. I've had enough. I've had my
40:19
phil And with the perfect storm upon us, the pandemic
40:23
and everyone being able to work, you know, remotely for
40:26
the most part, it's the perfect time. So I'm definitely
40:32
putting up themselves, leaving the harbor and heading out into
40:35
the open water. All right, So onto our topic for
40:40
the day. Now, we all know the current situation with
40:44
Glenn Maxwell. We all know that Juror number fifty Scottie
40:48
David threw a wrench into things. Doesn't mean there's automatically
40:53
going to be a mistrial, but it is something that
40:55
has to be discussed now because of the situation, and
41:00
I am possibly lying about his circumstances, So we all
41:05
know that that is at the forefront right now. Well,
41:08
on the back end of all of this, let's remember
41:10
Glenn Maxwell still has to face trial for perjury charges.
41:15
So now the prosecution is dangling dropping those perjury charges.
41:22
If Maxwell just goes along with the conviction that she's
41:26
already been hit with, now, I don't see any way
41:29
that she gets off on these perjury charges and she's
41:32
looking at ten years with those, so I would think
41:36
that it's maybe a bit of an enticement. But is
41:39
it enough, that's the question, And I guess we'll have
41:42
to see. But my gut feeling is that it's not
41:46
going to be enough to entice her to not try
41:49
and chase this mistrial. I think that her best bet.
41:53
And while it's still I don't think it's likely to happen,
41:58
but it's her best bet, that mistrial. All right, So
42:03
with that said, let's take a look at this article
42:06
from the Daily Mail and let's see what they have
42:09
to say about this whole situation. Now, this article was
42:13
authored by Lawrence Dollamore. Headline Prosecutors offered a drop perjury
42:19
charges against Glaine Maxwell if sex trafficking conviction is allowed
42:24
to stand, as her lawyers argue compelling basis for retrial
42:28
after jurors sex abuse revelation. Well, I will say this
42:32
about the Daily Mail. They leave the league in long
42:36
headlines and the world's longest headlines. Good lord, could the
42:40
headlines be any longer? Over at the Daily Mail, they
42:43
give you the whole story right there in the headline
42:45
for the most part. Prosecutors are willing to drop two
42:50
charges of perjury against disgraced socialite eh child trafficker Gallage
42:55
Maxwell if a conviction for sex trafficking is allowed to
42:58
stand court document and showed on Monday. So there's always
43:02
a flurry of court documents going into the court trying
43:06
to get a file to the docket, and I try
43:10
and keep up on all of those as much as possible,
43:13
so whenever they come through, I'll do a quick read
43:15
through and make sure we're on the right page and
43:18
you know we're not navigating off into la la land.
43:21
And while I'm talking about that, quick shout out to
43:25
Lady h over there on Twitter, who is always all
43:28
over it and always making sure that I have the
43:31
proper documentation to go through. And folks like that, like
43:36
Lady h Boy, I'll tell you what they are very
43:39
important to people like me who are creating content because
43:43
we're not superhumans, right, There's things I miss all the time.
43:47
And all of you fantastic listeners who are locked into
43:51
the case have added so much that I can't even
43:55
begin to explain how awesome you all are. But lady
43:59
h over there on Twitter has I mean, since the
44:02
jump kept the core documents fresh and coming. So a
44:06
lot of props to her and definitely a shout out.
44:11
The sixty year old could spend the rest of her
44:13
life behind bars after a jury convicted her of recruiting
44:17
and grooming young girls to be sexually abused by the
44:20
late American financier in pedophile Jeffrey Epstein last month. Why
44:25
do we have to call him a financier? And furthermore,
44:27
what the f was this guy financing? He wasn't financing anybody.
44:31
He wasn't a financier. He was a thief and a
44:34
money launderer and a child molester and a rapist. Okay,
44:38
that's what he was. She is due to be sentenced
44:42
at a later date, but there is ongoing disagreement over
44:46
when a timetable should be set. Prosecutors want the British
44:50
born Maxwell sentenced within three to four months, but her
44:53
defense team as opposed setting a date and there is
44:56
a compelling basis to overturn her conviction prosecuted. I mean,
45:01
the defense team doesn't want to set this date yet
45:04
because they're hanging their hat on hopefully this mistrial, So
45:08
they don't want to set this date until they get
45:09
the mistrial stuff set up and ready to go. He
45:13
demanded a new trial after a juror revealed he had
45:17
helped convict Maxwell by telling fellow jury members about his
45:21
experience of sexual abuse. And again, he's allowed to rely
45:26
on his past experiences as a human being when he's
45:29
making the case to the other jurors in the room
45:32
to try and explain his opinions and how he came
45:36
to his decision making. What he is not allowed to do, however,
45:39
is lie about those circumstances during the questionnaire period. So again,
45:44
like we've been saying, and it's a dead horse at
45:46
this point, it's all about that questionnaire and whether or
45:49
not he lied on that. According to court documents dated
45:57
January tenth, the US government is now offered to drop
46:00
two perjury charges linked to claims Maxwell made in twenty
46:04
sixteen deposition in a separate civil lawsuit, should the sex
46:08
crime conviction stand. Each perjury charge carries a maximum five
46:13
year prison term, So she's cooked on those perjury charges,
46:17
no doubt about that. She's definitely gonna get convicted on those,
46:21
So it would be a good idea for her team
46:25
to definitely consider this. In my opinion, because she's gone,
46:29
She's gonna get the time on perjury. It's rather obvious
46:31
she lied, So it's certainly something that the team has
46:35
to discuss. But at the end of the day, is
46:38
it going to be enough to entice them to drop
46:41
their thoughts of a mistrial of that? I think it's
46:45
going to be a hard sell. The charges alleged the
46:49
convicted sex trafficker lied under oath by hiding her participation
46:53
in Epstein's offenses during separate civil case brought against her
46:57
by Prince Andrew's accuser, Virginia Robert. And kudos here for
47:01
the Daily Mail finally getting on board. The charges alleged
47:05
the convicted sex trafficker lied under oath. That is what
47:08
she is, a convicted sex trafficker, an absolutely horrendous human being.
47:14
If you want to call her a human being, I
47:16
prefer bipedal serpent. But you get the drift here. This
47:20
lady should not be called a socialite and ex socialite
47:23
any of that. She is a convicted sex offender. You
47:26
made that bed, Glenn Maxwell, now enjoy lying in it.
47:30
Confirming their position in the letter to Judge Allison J. Nathan,
47:33
the US government said, in the event the defendants post
47:36
trial motions are denied. The government is prepared to dismiss
47:40
the severed perjury counts at the time of sentencing in
47:44
light of the survivor's significant interests in bringing closure to
47:48
this matter and avoiding the trauma of testifying again. And
47:52
we talked about this a little bit yesterday. It's gotta
47:55
be traumatic, right, coming back, got to testify again, relive
47:58
all of this, the nightmare, the night sweats, the anticipation
48:02
the day before. I mean, come on, have any of
48:06
you ever had a big day that you had and
48:08
you were you nervous about it, You weren't really looking
48:11
forward to it, maybe like surgery or something like that.
48:14
I know I've had both of my shoulders fully reconstructed
48:17
due to injuries that I've picked up being a moron
48:22
in my life. And every single night that I was
48:26
laying there in bed before those surgeries, I was scared shitless.
48:30
So I can only imagine laying there before a trial,
48:34
getting up there to air out your whole life in
48:36
front of the whole world. That there has to be
48:38
so much anxiety in the best of times, never mind
48:41
if you were sexually abused or raped or trafficked by
48:44
sick fucks like this, So in the interest of them
48:48
not having to revisit the trauma, I'm all for it
48:51
as long as Maxwell is punished the right way. If
48:59
any of the defendants postrial motions are granted, the government
49:02
proposes that the parties be directed to promptly confer and
49:06
propose a schedule for further proceedings. That schedule may depend
49:10
on the manner in which the court resolves such motions.
49:13
So basically what they're saying there is we're gonna have
49:16
to wait and see. We'll have to wait and see
49:18
what the court decides. We'll have to wait and see
49:20
what the defense brings to the table, and then the
49:23
negotiations will begin. The prosecution has also requested preparation of
49:31
a pre sentenced investigation report, but the defense argued anything
49:35
Maxwell said in the report could be used against her
49:38
at her retrial, and she's not wrong about that, So
49:41
that's a bit diligent on her team's behalf here. You
49:44
gotta be careful, right, You gotta really be careful when
49:46
you're dealing with the federal government. Setting out their position
49:51
in the letter, Maxwell's lawyer said, the defense requests that
49:54
the court delays setting a schedule for sentencing because there
49:58
is a compelling basis for the court to overturn Miss
50:01
Maxwell's conviction and grant her a new trial based on
50:05
the disclosure of Juror fifty during deliberations. The defense therefore
50:10
objects to setting a schedule for sentencing until this motion
50:13
is resolved. So again, what they're trying to do is
50:17
stop everything in its tracks till they can figure out
50:19
if they're going to get a retrial here. That's what
50:22
they're aiming for, That's what they're gunning for. That's what
50:24
they want. The question is are they going to attain it. Furthermore,
50:31
requiring Miss Maxwell to participate in the preparation of the
50:34
pre sentenced investigation report while she is awaiting a decision
50:38
on our motion for a new trial will adversely impact
50:41
her Fifth Amendment rights, the right to silence so as
50:44
to not incriminate herself. Miss Maxwell will be forced into
50:48
the position of not cooperating with the Probation Department's investigation
50:52
because any statement she makes to Probation and any document
50:55
she provides may be used against her at her retrial.
51:00
Really pining for that retrial, folks, they think they're gonna
51:03
get it. They think that Maxwell is going to get
51:05
a chance to once again try and argue her innocence here,
51:09
if you want to call it that, I would suggest
51:12
that they didn't even argue her innocence the first time around.
51:16
But again, while it seems like a mistrial is certainly
51:20
a possibility, we're dealing with the United States legal system
51:24
where things that seem likely, well, they never occur. Maxwell's
51:31
conviction was first put in jeopardy when juror number fifty,
51:34
Scottie David, admitted he flew through a pre trial questionnaire
51:38
and did not recall being asked on the form about
51:41
his experience of sexual abuse. David claimed he used his
51:45
experience to influence other jurors, saying, when I shared that
51:48
they were able to come around on the memory aspect
51:51
of the sexual abuse. And again we don't even know
51:54
if that's the truth. We haven't heard from the other jurors.
51:56
We don't know what they were thinking. This is just
51:59
one guy who wants to be the hero of their story.
52:03
Maxwell's defense has insisted she not be made to expend
52:06
resources on other legal matters until a ruling on whether
52:10
to conduct a retrial is made. It comes after a
52:13
second unidentified jerry told The New York Times that they
52:16
too had been abused as a child. They said they
52:19
had discussed the experience during deliberations, and that the revelation
52:23
had appeared to help shape the jury's discussions. That paper reported. Meanwhile,
52:28
Maxwell's lawyers told The Mail on Sunday that they believe
52:31
they have found a third jer inner sex trafficking trial
52:34
who lied about being abused. All right, so now we're
52:37
getting a bit silly, right, everybody's a liar. Everybody told
52:39
the story. At what point do you look at Maxwell's
52:42
team and say, all right, come on now, stop it.
52:46
I think I'm at that point right now, all right,
52:49
enough with the bs. Your client's convicted. She's a human trafficker.
52:53
Stop being a moron. A source that Maxwell's legal team
52:57
feel confident a third ur lied on their jury application,
53:01
adding there are also questions over a fourth juror, so
53:05
this thing is up in the air. So when they
53:06
say a source said, I'm guessing Maxwell's brother, he's the
53:09
only source that they've had, and boy, oh boy, he
53:12
is not a reliable narrator. Maxwell's trial and subsequent conviction
53:18
for assisting Epstein, who hanged himself in his jail cell
53:21
in twenty nineteen, allegedly exposed a murky world of sex
53:25
trafficking among the rich and powerful. A New York judge
53:29
last week said they would decide pretty soon whether to
53:32
dismiss his sexual assault lawsuit against the UK's Prince Andrew
53:36
by Virginia Roberts, also a longtime abuse survivor of Maxwell
53:41
and Epstein's. Roberts alleges that Epstein lent her out for
53:44
sex with his wealthy and powerful associates, including Andrew, an
53:48
allegation that Queen Elizabeth's second excuse me, Queen Elizabeth the
53:53
second son has repeediately and strenuously denied. So it's fun
54:00
how they say, oh, it opens up a world of
54:02
murky sex trafficking among the rich and powerful. What do
54:05
you mean? This has been going on forever? How do
54:08
you think the courts in the Middle Ages ran And
54:11
when I say courts, I mean royal courts. There are
54:13
basically large ass sex trafficking operations. In fact, we're gonna
54:16
dive into that at some point as well, because it's
54:19
very interesting how those courts for the kings and monarchs
54:23
in the Old days were used as sex trafficking operations,
54:26
So this is as old as old could be, folks,
54:31
And when it comes to Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein,
54:34
they're certainly not the only ones that are up to it.
54:38
So we're gonna continue on this path. We're continue following
54:41
the story, and we're gonna see what comes of this.
54:44
But one thing I can definitely tell you is there
54:48
are definitely some more twists and turns ahead and there's
54:51
certainly going to be some bumps in the road. So folks,
54:54
my advice is buckle up. All right. That's gonna do
54:57
it for us this morning. We'll be back later on
55:00
tonight with our evening update and context articles as usual.
55:05

55:07

55:23
The link that we discussed can be found in the
55:25
description box. What's up everyone, and welcome back to the
55:31
Epstein Chronicles. Hope that everybody's off to a great start
55:36
to their weekend and hopefully the rest of it is
55:39
even better. Last night, we were talking about the fact
55:44
that Carolyn, one of the witnesses from the Gallain Maxwell trial,
55:51
corroborated the fact that Virginia called her and told her
55:55
about her experience with Prince Andrew. And when we were
56:00
discussing that last night, we were talking about the settlement
56:04
and if this would you know, settle out of court maybe,
56:07
And it looks like Virginia wants nothing to do with that.
56:12
I said that last night as well. I thought that
56:15
perhaps she would want to see this all the way through.
56:18
And there's an article in the New York Post and
56:21
the headline is Prince Andrew's sex accuser wanted five million,
56:26
but will no longer accept a payout, And I kind
56:29
of figured that was the path we were on. This
56:33
is about something bigger for Virginia at this point, and
56:38
it's not you know, people will frame it, Oh, it's
56:41
about the money. It's about the settlement, and I think
56:44
it's well beyond that. At this point when we're discussing
56:48
Virginia Roberts, I think she's at the point where she
56:52
just wants to see this all the way through. And
56:55
her saying that she will not accept a payout at
56:57
this point definitely signals that. So it's gonna be interesting
57:03
to see what transpires here as far as this payout
57:08
or settlement or what the deal's going to be. But
57:12
it certainly looks like at this point that Prince Andrew
57:16
better have his trial pants on right. You know he
57:19
talked about not wearing the right kid. I'm not wearing
57:22
the right kid around London to go to the ball. Well,
57:24
you better have the right kid on to go to court,
57:27
my friend, because it sure looks like that's the path
57:30
you're on, and it sure looks like that's the trajectory
57:34
that we're all going to be experiencing because according to
57:39
this article and just looking at Virginia's history right as
57:43
an outsider, it would signal that she is not interested
57:46
in the payout here, that she wants to go all
57:49
the way. So we're gonna jump into two articles this morning,
57:54
one relatively short one here from the New York Post
57:57
talking about this payout, and the other one I want
58:00
to get to is the one I was telling you
58:03
that discusses the different scenarios for Maxwell once she's in jail.
58:08
How considering her crimes, she won't be at a minimum
58:12
security club fed type place, but more than likely at
58:16
like a medium security. So we're going to touch on
58:20
that as well. But first, let's take a look at
58:23
this article from the New York Post and let's see
58:26
what Lee Brown has to say. Prince Andrew's sexecuser wanted
58:31
five million, but will no longer accept a payout. Prince
58:36
Andrew's execuser had sought five million dollars to settle out
58:40
of court, but will no longer accept a potential payout
58:43
because she wants the case to go to trial. According
58:45
to a report, And like I said last night when
58:48
we were talking, I figured that this was the case
58:52
just from following Virginia's history and you know, seeing the
58:56
way that she has proceeded here, I really have any doubt,
59:00
honestly that she was going to pursue this to the
59:03
very end and really turn the heat up on Prince Andrew.
59:08
Virginia Roberts issuing the sixty one year old UK royal
59:11
for allegedly having sex with her three times, starting when
59:14
she was just seventeen. That makes it seem kind of like,
59:19
you know, ay, they just had sex and now she
59:21
regrets it. It's not the case. She was seventeen years
59:25
old and she was flown to England by Jeffrey Epstein
59:28
and Glene Maxwell with the express purpose of having sex
59:33
with Prince Andrew. That's why she was brought there, little
59:36
seventeen year old girl. Remember seventeen years old? Oh well,
59:40
the age of consent in England is sixteen. Yeah, guess
59:43
what what if it was your daughter? How would you
59:46
feel then? Would it be the same thing? Would you
59:48
still have the same blase attitude about it? Somehow? I
59:53
highly doubt it. Sources told The Telegraph that she initially
59:58
sought a settlement of five million dollars from Andrew, ten
1:00:02
times the five hundred grand she got from Jeffrey Epstein,
1:00:05
the late pedophile, who she says ordered her to have
1:00:08
disgusting sex with the Prince. Well, Inflation's the son of
1:00:11
a bitch, isn't it. You got all these wacky ass
1:00:14
lame politicians out there telling us how great inflation is
1:00:18
for poor people. Yeah, okay, sure, spoken like somebody who's
1:00:21
never been poor before. And the same goes for this.
1:00:25
Oh well, it's ten times the amount she got from Epstein. Well,
1:00:30
ten years later, a whole bunch of years later. That's
1:00:33
how it works, right, And frankly, five millions not enough.
1:00:40
Now I would sue him. If it was me, I
1:00:42
would sue this dude for the five million. I want
1:00:44
the Crown Jewels of England. I want Sandringham. I would
1:00:48
go crazy. I'd ask for all kinds of wild shit
1:00:51
if it was me, just to prove a point. But
1:00:55
now that, But now that the case looks set to
1:00:58
go to trial this year, the law time accuser is
1:01:00
no longer willing to settle out of court, the paper
1:01:03
sources said. Robert's, a founder of the nonprofit Speak Out
1:01:08
Act reclaim Sore, helping sex trafficking survivors, wants to instead
1:01:13
show the legal consequences for those praying on young girls,
1:01:17
the paper said. And look, this has been Virginia's purpose
1:01:21
and intent for quite some time. If you just follow
1:01:24
her posts on Twitter and what she has to say there,
1:01:27
she is, uh, you know, had enough. It certainly would
1:01:31
seem like she has had enough and there's no more
1:01:34
retreating for her. It's biting down on the mouthpiece and
1:01:37
moving to the center of the octagon to throw bombs
1:01:40
at this point. And that's what you have to do
1:01:42
with bullies, right You can't run from bullies. You can't
1:01:45
expect them to stop, because they won't. The only way
1:01:49
to deal with a bully is to three piece them up.
1:01:53
That's it's the only way, and that's what Virginia is
1:01:56
looking to do here, to piece these dudes up. She
1:02:02
believes that accepting a payout from the scandal scarred son
1:02:05
of Queen Elizabeth would not advance that message. The UK
1:02:09
paper said, I agree, it really wouldn't right. All he
1:02:12
would do is open the door for more people to
1:02:14
try and you know, demean her and call her somebody
1:02:17
who's just looking for a payday, when in reality it's
1:02:20
a lot more than that. Her lawyer, David Boyce, previously
1:02:25
confirmed that her camp had offered the Royal the chance
1:02:28
to enter a tolling agreement, which would have given Andrew
1:02:31
time to negotiate a settlement privately. The Prince never accepted
1:02:35
the offer and instead initially tried to dodge getting served
1:02:39
the Manhattan Court papers in the suit. According to previous
1:02:43
hearings and filings, well we remember that old boy was
1:02:46
ducking in dodging like rip Torn was throwing wrenches at him.
1:02:51
The dude's an absolute clown, a joke and an embarrassment.
1:02:55
To a great nation. I mean, I can't tell you
1:02:59
how many g eight people I know from the UK,
1:03:01
and I can't tell you how many of them were
1:03:03
mortified by the behavior of this scoundrel ass scumbag. His
1:03:11
lawyers have since fought to get the case against him dismissed,
1:03:14
claiming that Robert's settlement with Epstein, which was made public
1:03:17
last week, also covers him from liability. I thought you
1:03:21
never met her. How could it cover you for liability
1:03:24
if you have never even met her? Oh wait, that's right,
1:03:27
you lied. You did meet her, and you were with
1:03:29
her at Glenn Maxwell's house, and you were with her
1:03:32
at Tramp and you did have your arm around her
1:03:34
and you can sweat, Okay. So basically what I'm trying
1:03:40
to say here is you're a liar. As of Friday,
1:03:44
Judge Lewis Kaplan had yet to issue a decision on
1:03:46
the motion, but at a hearing Tuesday, the judge appeared
1:03:50
to suggest the settlement was not clear enough to keep
1:03:52
the Prince from getting sued. Roberts for years has insisted
1:03:56
that Epstein and has now convicted Madam Madam no co conspirator,
1:04:01
fellow child abuser, general all around scuzbag Glean Maxwell forced
1:04:05
her to have disgusting sex with the prince three times
1:04:09
in London, New York and on Epstein's private island in
1:04:13
the Caribbean. Andrew's legal team has called the lawsuit baseless
1:04:17
and said he unequivocally denies Robert's false allegations against him. Well, good,
1:04:22
you're gonna have your chance in court. It seems like buddy,
1:04:24
to defend yourself because it doesn't look like Virginia is
1:04:28
interested in settling out of court with your bitch ass.
1:04:32
So buckle up, homie. You better call your boy Marty Singer,
1:04:35
you better hit up Brettler, and you better get ready.
1:04:40
Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking and other charges December
1:04:43
twenty ninth in Manhattan Federal Court and faces up to
1:04:47
sixty five years in prison. She was accused of procuring
1:04:50
victims for her buddy Epstein and engaging in some of
1:04:53
the abuse as well. Well, at least they're getting that
1:04:56
right nowadays. The papers are at least saying she was
1:04:59
taking part in the abuse. Now, I guess one step
1:05:02
out of time, huh. Her lawyers are now pushing for
1:05:05
a mistrial after two jurors have admitted swaying deliberations with
1:05:10
tales of their own childhood abuse that they may not
1:05:13
have declared before being picked for the panel. Epstein killed
1:05:17
himself in a Manhattan jail cell, allegedly in August twenty nineteen,
1:05:21
while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. So I wanted
1:05:26
to touch on this article just real quick, because we
1:05:28
brought this up last night and I was just taking
1:05:31
a shot in the dark here, taking a guess when
1:05:34
I said I didn't think that Virginia was going to
1:05:37
be interested in a payout here, and that she'd be
1:05:39
interested in going all the way. And I just I
1:05:42
wake up this morning and I see this article. So
1:05:45
I figured we'd add this to the front end of
1:05:48
the other article I had ready for us to go.
1:05:50
So it gives a little bit more context, right, and
1:05:53
a little bit more of an idea of where Virginia
1:05:56
is and what her game plan is going to be.
1:05:59
And I'll tell you what, folks, I cannot wait for
1:06:02
this to go to trial, all right, So let's check
1:06:06
out our next article. This article is from Fortune dot
1:06:11
Com and the authors are Bob van Vories, Chris Dolmich,
1:06:17
and Bloomberg. Headline Glenn Maxwell's prison won't be like the
1:06:22
Camp Cupcake where Martha Stewart served her sentence. Glenn Maxwell's
1:06:29
high society days are over as she faces years in
1:06:32
a prison that's likely to be harsher than the so
1:06:35
called Camp Cupcake prison where Martha Stewart served. Now, there's
1:06:39
all kinds of different prisons, as you well know, you
1:06:42
have high security, maximum security prisons, medium security prisons, low
1:06:47
security prisons, prison camps, all kinds of wild stuff. And
1:06:52
Martha Stewart was able to serve her sentence at a
1:06:55
low security camp where you know, it's like a dormitory
1:06:59
style set, and you know it's very lax, if you will,
1:07:04
if prison can be lax, but there's no like regulations
1:07:08
like there are in a high security facility where you know,
1:07:13
you're only out on the yard for so little amount
1:07:16
of time, that kind of thing, whereas at a low
1:07:19
security place you have a lot more freedom. And in
1:07:23
some of these places there aren't even fences around these camps. Now,
1:07:28
I know, when I went and visited people I care
1:07:31
about at a federal lockup in Lompoc, they were at
1:07:34
a low security portion of the prison and they could
1:07:38
have literally walked right out of the jail if they
1:07:41
wanted to. But then when you get caught, and you
1:07:46
will get caught, you go to a higher security facility
1:07:49
after that to serve out the rest of your term,
1:07:52
plus whatever they tack on for you walking out of
1:07:54
the facility. So that's kind of a deterrent for people
1:08:00
these low security facilities to not leave right. They don't
1:08:04
want to get any years tagged onto it, and they
1:08:08
don't want to go and do hard time. I know,
1:08:10
if I was going to prison or jail or whatever,
1:08:13
I'd much prefer to go to one of these camps.
1:08:16
But when you have the charges that Maxwell has, and
1:08:19
you've been convicted of what Maxwell has been convicted of,
1:08:23
You're not going to Camp Cupcake. You're going to at
1:08:26
least a medium security level facility, and things are going
1:08:31
to be a lot tougher on her, a lot more regimented. Maxwell,
1:08:37
the ex socialite, co conspirator, general all around scusbag of
1:08:41
disgraced financier pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was convicted Wednesday on five
1:08:46
counts tied to sexual abuse, including the most serious charge
1:08:50
of sex trafficking of a minor, which carries a maximum
1:08:53
sentence of forty years because she was convicted of sex crimes.
1:08:57
Maxwell won't be assigned to a minimum security prison camp
1:09:01
like the one in Alderson, West Virginia that house Stuart
1:09:04
with a dormitory style housing and limited fencing, according to
1:09:08
prison consultant Justin Paperny, And that's what I was just
1:09:12
talking about. It's like you'd be shocked, right. I was
1:09:15
under the impression that jail or prison, you know, was
1:09:19
like you see in the movies. Then when I went
1:09:21
and visited the people that I went to see while
1:09:24
they were doing their sentence, it was a kind of,
1:09:28
you know, shocking to me that they could have literally
1:09:31
just walked out of the facility if they wanted. Alderson
1:09:36
has been called Camp Cupcake by critics who faulted for
1:09:40
its custody conditions and activities that include progressive relaxation. Well,
1:09:45
I don't know about all of that, but I'm a
1:09:47
big fan of rehabilitation while people are in prison, and
1:09:50
especially if you're in there for nonviolent crimes. What we
1:09:53
should throw people who were arrested for nonviolent crimes right
1:09:57
into the mix with the rest of the act the
1:09:59
real scumback the world. Nah, I don't think that's the
1:10:02
right way to go about things either. Now, progressive relaxation,
1:10:06
I don't know what that even means, to be honest
1:10:08
with you, so I can't tell you if I agree
1:10:10
with it or not. But I am a fan of
1:10:13
rehabilitation when people are in prison, except for the most
1:10:16
heinoused of crimes, right these kinds of sex crimes or
1:10:19
you're a murderer. Look, you can't rehabilitate from stuff like that.
1:10:24
So if Maxwell is given closer to the high end
1:10:29
of what she faces, she'll likely end up in a
1:10:31
medium security prison. According to Paperni, who runs White Collar Advice,
1:10:36
which advises clients facing prison, She's imagine, imagine you're facing
1:10:41
prison and you got to call this guy and get
1:10:43
a game plan on what you should do when you
1:10:45
get to the whoscal forget it. I mean, I don't
1:10:50
even know what I would do. I don't even like
1:10:51
being confined, you know, at my desk for eight hours,
1:10:56
never mind being in jail or a prison cell. It
1:10:58
seems like the most a terrifying thing in the world
1:11:03
to me, honestly, having my freedom taken. I can't even imagine.
1:11:10
She is probably in shock and will be for some time,
1:11:13
said ingrid Let. Her house Oaken, a former executive at
1:11:16
Tiffany and Company who spent ten months at Alderson after
1:11:19
admitting to stealing from the company. With proper counseling, she
1:11:23
can make her sentence productive if she focuses on giving back,
1:11:27
meaning helping others and taking full responsibility for her actions. Nah,
1:11:31
this again, this isn't a white collar crime. This isn't
1:11:34
somebody who stole a couple of bucks. This is somebody
1:11:37
who stole people's lives. Literally, this lady is a life vampire.
1:11:44
And you know, I don't care what she does while
1:11:47
she's in there. There's nothing that can take back what
1:11:50
she did. She needs to do the full sentence, whatever
1:11:52
that may be. Maxwell's attorney said late Wednesday that she
1:11:57
will appeal the verdict. Maxwell's trial judge didn't set a
1:12:00
sentencing date for the for Maxwell, who still faces trial
1:12:04
on two perjury counts. That trial hasn't been scheduled. The
1:12:08
decision where to house Maxwell will be up to the
1:12:10
Federal Bureau of Prisons. The Bureau doesn't comment on individual cases,
1:12:15
but factors considered in assigning inmates include the security and
1:12:19
supervision the inmate requires any medical or programming, needs separation
1:12:24
and security measures to ensure the inmates protection, and other
1:12:28
considerations including proximity to an individual's release residence. According to
1:12:33
spokesman Donald Murphy, Yeah, that's nice in a concept, right,
1:12:39
How often do they practice it? Though? I know my
1:12:42
loved ones were scattered all over the country, So I
1:12:47
mean maybe they help people like Maxwell get put someplace
1:12:51
close to home, but when it comes to the rest
1:12:53
of us, forget it. Inmates and higher security facilities are
1:12:59
generally can find to cells rather than rooms and endure
1:13:03
more intense security procedures. Those prisons tend to house people
1:13:06
who are convicted of more serious crimes, have longer prison sentences,
1:13:11
and are more prone to violence. So again, if you're
1:13:15
somebody like Maxwell, you beyond all measure, want to get
1:13:20
to a low security facility. She's not built for this life.
1:13:24
What She's gonna hit the yard and she's gonna gee up,
1:13:27
someone's gonna check her, and she's gonna gee up and
1:13:30
chin check that person. Yeah right, she's gonna walk in.
1:13:34
She's not gonna have her paperwork hooped, none of it,
1:13:37
and she's gonna get exploited and beat up. And who
1:13:41
knows what else that's if she's on the general yard.
1:13:45
She's not gonna hit the general line though. See during
1:13:48
the whole entire lead up to the trial, her team
1:13:51
kept talking about how she wanted to be in the
1:13:54
general population, and I laughed and laughed and laughed and
1:13:57
mocked them for that. So I want to see how
1:14:00
quickly they're talking about general population when she gets the prison. Somehow,
1:14:05
I doubt they're going to bring it up. They're gonna
1:14:07
want her and protective custody. Oh, she's a high level inmate.
1:14:11
All of a sudden, she needs to be protected. That's
1:14:14
what they'll say. And I get it. I agree, but
1:14:16
let's be real. Still, anywhere she goes will likely be
1:14:25
an upgrade from the Brooklyn Federal lockup, where she's been
1:14:28
held since charged in July twenty twenty with helping Epstein
1:14:32
sexually abuse underage girls. Prior to her conviction, Maxwell, the
1:14:37
daughter of the British media tycoon Robert Maxwell, made numerous
1:14:41
complaints about her conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center, a
1:14:45
jail that federal investigators have deemed among the worst in
1:14:48
the US Bureau of Prison systems. Well, guess what play
1:14:53
stupid games, win stupid prizes. Where did you think you
1:14:56
were going to go and do your jail time? You
1:14:58
thought you were going to hang out at the wall,
1:15:00
and you're you know, pay for your security to protect
1:15:02
you around the clock while you sit around and eat
1:15:05
bond bonds. Wrong. Enjoy the MDC and all of the
1:15:10
shittiness of it, because guess what, how many countless people
1:15:16
have been through those doors, how many countless people have
1:15:19
sat in those same jail cells. It's just the way
1:15:23
it goes, Glenn Maxwell. These are the rules you and
1:15:25
your friends have put on the books, right you and
1:15:27
all your powerful buddies in DC. Well, you reap what
1:15:31
you sew, don't you. She's enduring arguably the worst and
1:15:36
filthiest prison in the country. It's a jail, not a prison,
1:15:39
said Paperny. Wherever she serves her time will feel like
1:15:42
Disneyland compared to where she is right now. I don't
1:15:45
believe that for a second. When you're in this lock up,
1:15:49
there's the hope that you're getting out and going home
1:15:51
at some point when you go to this prison and
1:15:53
that you know, gate closes. Oh, it's a rap for you.
1:15:58
It's all been a startling turn for Maxwell, who was
1:16:01
arrested at a million dollars one hundred and fifty six
1:16:04
acre estate in New Hampshire and owned the New York
1:16:06
City townhouse that sold in twenty and sixteen for about
1:16:10
fifteen million, as well as a London home in Belgravia.
1:16:14
Federal investigators found that MDC prisoners have been beaten, raped,
1:16:19
and held in inhumane conditions. Maxwell has complained about being
1:16:23
held in solitary confinement under twenty four hour surveillance and
1:16:27
being awakened every few hours each night. I mean, that
1:16:31
would be the least of her problems, right If she
1:16:34
was on the general line, she'd be exploited, extorted, you
1:16:38
name it, she said. Conditions left are exhausted and unable
1:16:47
to properly help prepare her defense. Of the one hundred
1:16:50
and fifty seven thousand, five hundred inmates currently in the
1:16:53
federal prison system, fewer than eleven thousand, around seven percent
1:16:58
are women. According to the Bureau of Prisons, of its
1:17:01
one hundred and twenty two prison facilities in the US,
1:17:04
only twenty nine house women, and eleven of those are
1:17:07
short term lockups like the MDC where Maxwell was held
1:17:10
for trial. Her future home will be based on the
1:17:14
classification she receives from federal prison officials, said Jack Donson,
1:17:18
a prison consultant who worked for the Bureau of Prisons
1:17:21
for more than twenty three years. That will depend in
1:17:24
part on the length of her sentence and a determination
1:17:27
by prison authorities whether Maxwell, who has a US, UK
1:17:32
and French citizenship, presents a risk to escape. Now, as
1:17:36
much as I want to pile on here a risk
1:17:39
to escape, I highly doubt that now. A risk to
1:17:42
run and a risk to try and avoid charges, definitely,
1:17:46
but we're not I mean, she's not Andy Dufrayne, right,
1:17:49
She's not digging a hole through the wall and climbing
1:17:52
through the septic system anytime soon. So that's probably the
1:17:56
last of my concerns when it comes to Maxwell. If
1:18:01
Maxwell has given a more lenient sentence, she may be
1:18:03
headed to the low security federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut,
1:18:07
known for housing Orange is the New Black. Author Piper
1:18:10
Kerman and reality television star Teresa Judas said PAPERNI, Yeah,
1:18:15
that's the prison in Danberry is notorious for that. You
1:18:21
see a couple of mob guys that have been through there.
1:18:23
You know that kind of deal, but Dohnson said the
1:18:28
Bureau will likely assign a famous convict like Maxwell to
1:18:31
a secure facility away from a major city, making the
1:18:35
Danbury Prison not far from New York less likely. They're
1:18:38
never going to put her near New York or anywhere.
1:18:41
You're going to have reporters camping out on the road.
1:18:44
He said, Well, this is America. Anyone can get to anywhere.
1:18:47
I get the idea that it's a lot easier to
1:18:49
access Danberry than it is to say, Lompok. But wherever
1:18:54
she goes, there's going to be the media following. Differences
1:19:00
between a minimum security camp and low security Federal Correctional
1:19:03
Institution or FCI can be dramatic, said Larry Levine, founder
1:19:08
of Wall Street Prison Consultants, who served more than ten
1:19:11
years in federal prison and now advises convicted criminals on
1:19:15
how to survive incarceration. I've had several friends due time
1:19:20
in federal prison, and every single one of them has
1:19:23
come back and said it was a miserable experience. I
1:19:27
can't even imagine ten years, no thank you. Camps often
1:19:33
have a relatively high proportion of non violent white collar offenders,
1:19:37
and violence is rare. Violence is more likely in fcis,
1:19:41
which can house bank robbers, drug dealers, and people convicted
1:19:44
of sex crimes. So while camps don't have perimeter fences
1:19:48
or armed security, fcis have two secured barbed wire fences
1:19:52
with roving armed security. He said the doors to camp
1:19:55
housing unit doors are never locked, a contrast to fcis
1:19:59
were in mates are locked in at night, and that's
1:20:03
I was trying to make that comparison earlier to you, folks.
1:20:06
It really is night and day between the low security
1:20:10
and medium security even and when I talked to my
1:20:15
family members and friends who would serve time in federal facilities,
1:20:19
they told me themselves the huge difference between minimum and
1:20:24
even medium and how it was much more enjoyable, if
1:20:31
anything can be enjoyable to be on the low security yard.
1:20:38
Several consultants said Maxwell's notoriety and nature of her crime
1:20:42
helping Epstein victimize teenage girls may make her a target.
1:20:46
If she is still in denial that she did not
1:20:48
contribute to the actions taken by herself and mister Epstein,
1:20:51
she will be a pariah both inside and outside of
1:20:54
the prison, said letter Has o'cun, who consults for white
1:20:57
collar advice, Maxwell's education, wealth, and former jet setting lifestyle
1:21:02
will set her apart for most inmates. She said, for sure,
1:21:06
she's gonna get exploited if she's on the yard, folks,
1:21:09
There's no doubt about it. Jeffrey Epstein was in the
1:21:12
holding cell for what a few weeks and he was
1:21:14
being exploited. You gotta remember, these prisoners have all day
1:21:20
to sit around and come up with ways and plots
1:21:23
and different scams, and that's what they do. Well. Maxwell
1:21:28
will have an advantage because of her access to cash
1:21:31
for food, clothing, makeup, and running shoes that other inmates
1:21:34
can't afford. This can cause jealousy in others. Let her
1:21:37
house o'coon said. Maxwell will likely be assigned a job
1:21:41
well shell where she'll make a paltry twelve to fourteen
1:21:44
cents an hour. Do it and don't complain. Let her
1:21:47
house oaken advised. The worst thing she could do is
1:21:51
whine about her situation. That is for sure. If you
1:21:54
go to prison and you start whining and acting the
1:21:57
fool crying about your circumstances, you're in for it. And
1:22:01
Glane Maxwell, she better hope she goes to one of
1:22:04
these low security facilities, folks, I've been saying it from
1:22:07
the jump. None of these people are built for this.
1:22:10
These people aren't from the street. They're not criminals in
1:22:14
the sense of the word that you expect when you
1:22:16
hear about prison. These are cowards who victimized young girls
1:22:21
and vulnerable people. And when they get to prison, well
1:22:28
guess what, the hunter becomes the hunted because these kinds
1:22:33
of crimes, they don't go over very well in prison, folks.
1:22:37
And somebody like Alane Maxwell with access to all this
1:22:40
money and affluence, you got to know from the beginning
1:22:46
she is going to be extorted, exploited, and the rest
1:22:50
of it if she's put on the main line. So
1:22:52
I would expect Gleann Maxwell to end up in some
1:22:55
kind of you know, secure setting as far as the
1:22:59
shoe or protective custody, not on the main line. And
1:23:02
depending on what the charges are, I mean, the sentencing
1:23:05
is obviously I'm guessing she's gonna end up in a
1:23:08
medium security facility. But when you have her money, you
1:23:12
never know. So there you have it, folks. That's the
1:23:15
article I was telling you about a couple of days ago.
1:23:18
I wanted to just touch on that real quick to
1:23:20
get an idea and give you folks an idea of
1:23:23
what might be coming next for Maxwell as far as
1:23:26
her incarceration. So that's gonna do it for me this morning,
1:23:31
and there will be more some more episodes out throughout
1:23:33
the day, some context episodes, and like I said, I
1:23:36
have a three part series about the War on drugs
1:23:39
