- 5:18[SPEAKER_07]: Come on man, what do you want?
- 5:20[SPEAKER_07]: What do you want?
- 5:21[SPEAKER_07]: Don't be complaining all the time.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_07]: Take what you get.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: Take what you get.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_07]: Well, things going on.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_07]: There's a lot of things going on.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, there's so many things going on.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what to talk about first.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_07]: But let's talk about the demolition of the building and JBY's place, which is underway today.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_07]: Councilman Ben shown late last week tried to get the council to halt it.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_07]: They were having none of that.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_07]: No, sorry.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_07]: No, sorry.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_07]: And, um, they got it going really quick.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_07]: Um, that's about a 1% tax hike in each of the next five years.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_07]: Because the city, I was listening to dianimol going to go and let me tell you something.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_07]: Whatever I say is based on my knowledge of the situation has described by the media and past dealings and knowledge of city operations.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_07]: Some of
- 6:14[SPEAKER_07]: sixty nine thousand dollars was what was owed in taxes on that uh... i don't know it with their ever any foreclosure for that water town trust water town local government corporation he shouldn't just believe in the city hang in the hold in the bag
- 6:40[SPEAKER_07]: they should have done whatever they could to get cost to it to get title to the building and then they have to protect it by paying those taxes and you know why stick the tax payers with it while you're all getting your salaries at the water town trust.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't know what roles banks had at key bank was involved in it too, but they're private sector but why did these agencies think it's them against the elected government
- 7:13[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_07]: I agree with Mr. Sean to be a little more circumspect and thought it through.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_07]: All of a sudden, a building that nobody seemed too concerned about, had been apparently condemned five years ago, and the tenants were kicked out as I talked to one of them the other day, and yes, he's a real one, and yes, he did talk to me, and no, I'm not making it up.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_07]: City came in five years ago says you've got to leave us is condemned.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_07]: Not can we help you relocate and I don't know my god and you know.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_07]: And now the guy wants to relocate from where he is now but there's none of these agencies are around to help with that either.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_07]: Good business man too, good guy.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_07]: So anyway that's that's just another story but I agree with shone.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_07]: You know, they were, the council was kind of forced into passing a bond or you have to pass this or else.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_08]: Well, Mr. Mills, he'll be, he'll be sad.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_08]: He gets sad.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you know, they signed a demolition contract based on, you know, to demolish somebody else's building.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know where it's a nice guy.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_07]: I get it.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_07]: City needs money so I click on news junkie the window on the world and I see a link to City pool fund and I go to it and it's though northern York community foundation our good friend Randy Richardson and I that's a really nice gesture Mr Richardson Yeah But And there's nothing wrong with giving or
- 9:12[SPEAKER_07]: even some kids and money so they can go swim on a warm day.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_07]: But, I don't know why I don't even.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_07]: There's no explanation of how this will be, whatever, dulled out of, yeah, here it is, city pool finds.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_07]: That's not right, there are news junkies.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_07]: The charitable fund was created through the Northern New York Community Foundation to serve as the designated vehicle through which individuals, organizations and businesses can make charitable contributions in support of the city of water town public pools.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_07]: These explain more.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_07]: Is this just going to the city?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_07]: Does it go towards, you know, helping kids get into the pool?
- 10:07[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know how it works, or is it just money given to the city, to buy chemicals?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'd have to hear a lot more about it.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I'm not against, you were saying, why don't you give some money?
- 10:29[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I guess I could, I mean, but I'd have to know what the mechanism is.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_07]: How about taking that money that the foundation is holding for the dog park and put it towards pool fees so kids can go swimming because they ain't going to see a dog park.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_07]: Brilliant.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_07]: Brilliant.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_07]: Oh my god.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_07]: I'm amazed.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_07]: I am amazed.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_07]: I am amazed.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_07]: Well, what else is going on?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_07]: I'd say the big NBA playoff game tonight.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_07]: The next are up two games.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_07]: And nothing over the spurs.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_07]: Nobody thought that would happen.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_07]: They wanted two games in San Antonio, which is in Texas.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_07]: And it's in Madison Square Garden, or five people down stairs last yesterday.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_07]: Five people got stabbed in Penn Station.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_07]: But that's neither here nor there.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_07]: Tickets are a minimum of $11,000 to go to this thing.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_07]: It's for the work in man.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_07]: Don't come out.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_07]: He's this is incredible.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_07]: And I guess tons of celebrities going to be there, which is fine.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_07]: And the media is making it sound like because President Trump is going that the public's being denied the right to have a watch party out in the street.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_07]: Well, whatever happened to watch parties and like bars and things around the city support your local businesses or have some people over to your house.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_07]: Last Friday, they had a watch party out in the street, front of the garden and they had trouble.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_07]: 17 people had to be arrested.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_07]: Much as we'd like to see the next win the whole thing, can you imagine a rioting then?
- 12:17[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, it'll make, it'll make George Floyd look like nothing.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_07]: So anyway, the president's going and the media is upset about that, the Democrats are upset.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_07]: The would-be speaker is upset, a team Jeffries.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_07]: I'm Mr. Trump's a native of New York, and the only true New Yorkers are natives.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_07]: That's what J.L.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_07]: said recently.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_07]: So we want to go with the thing.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_07]: So what?
- 12:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there's some logistical issues.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_07]: So what?
- 12:51[SPEAKER_07]: Mayor, my amdami's gonna be the whole bunch of people
- 12:57[SPEAKER_07]: yeah Bruce Blakeman's gonna be there who's he that's what I said you know there's a guy claims he's for affordability for New Yorkers and he's at the next game tonight and over the weekend he was at the Belmont stakes up in Saratoga like that's a real average guy event he doesn't have a trophy wife though um... and he's not gonna be governor we know that
- 13:25[SPEAKER_07]: So anyway, people are mad over Trump going to the game and I say, so what?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_07]: Then people are mad because this Saturday, they're going to have that UFC event here to get the stage build on the White House lawn on it.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_07]: Like it or not, it's different.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_07]: Give the people a DC something to go to and look at it and people at home and it's different.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_07]: So what?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: But now somebody's gone to court and they'll find a
- 13:54[SPEAKER_07]: A Democrat judge somewhere will put a stay on it and we'll have to run it up the appellate divisions and all that and it's stupid.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_07]: You know, we can't just have nice events anymore.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_07]: Trump cleans up that reflecting pool so it's not full of algae and it's like, oh my guy, oh, and see an end's going nuts.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_07]: And listen, Mr. Trump contributes to a lot of this himself.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_07]: And in my opinion over the top, so, excuse me, you know, we've really, kind of, there was a poll I heard this morning.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_07]: Did you hear about this 250th anniversary, the semi-quincentennial, it's called?
- 14:40[SPEAKER_07]: Did you hear about it?
- 14:43[SPEAKER_07]: The kids must have heard about it in school, I'm sure they did, I'm sure the doctor would have taught, no, Ian.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_07]: Well,
- 14:54[SPEAKER_07]: 74% of Republicans are looking favor forward to the 250th celebrations, 35% of Democrats.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_07]: That kind of says it all.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_07]: We can't even celebrate something nice, like the dawning of a country with freedom and liberty for all and justice, now we can't even celebrate that.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_07]: without a fracus, and without arguments, and without complaining.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_07]: And that's just too bad.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, you know, they were going to have that concert or something, and why can't we have Bruce Springsteen and Kid Rock on a stage at the same time?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_07]: Come on, man.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_07]: Just do something for the people for America.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_07]: And, and do we, does everything have to be about Trump sucks, you know, taco taco, you know, not all that stuff.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_07]: It's just, just spare me as for the, some I quit in Centennial.
- 15:56[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_07]: Speaking of our democracy, how about LA?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_07]: But that plaque guy was going to, uh, or Pratt, whatever, flat Pratt.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_07]: Thought he was going to win, uh, or get in the, uh, finals against, uh, the mayor?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_07]: all of a sudden that ramen woman us came out of nowhere just out of nowhere all the bad we just count in late balance and i know they say that anything mails by election day is counted and i don't have a problem with that if it's but who really believes that every all these people waited till the last day or two mailing to do it usually if you want to do early voting to get it in early yeah
- 16:43[SPEAKER_07]: So anyway, we'll have two sides of the same coin in the Los Angeles mayoral election this fall, and you might as well keep the one you got, but Aaron Bass is the one you've got, I don't think the Democrats, she got 34.7% they know she's damaged goods, so they
- 17:13[SPEAKER_07]: to be in there, so she could be Karen Bass.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, for sure, allow to have two Democrats running November, and we don't do it that way in New York.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_07]: But, I don't know, I don't believe in any of that.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_07]: I heard there was some rumbling inside the Constantine Ocampaign.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't mean to get much information on it, but a good source told me, you know.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_07]: I think these commercials are great.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I don't know what his ground game is like, or, you know, his appearances and so on.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_07]: I think that Mr. Smollon, you know, he knows the routine and going to county fairs and doing that stuff to get the local, local Republicans to vote for you.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I think that's been an area of weakness on Constantinople's part, but his commercials have been much better and his endorsements.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_07]: So,
- 18:10[SPEAKER_07]: I think he's on there's an 80% chance according to that online betting thing that he went.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_07]: So I think he probably does and then he'll face cows and car hurts guy from Lisbon in the fall.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_07]: You're going to give to the pool fund, go on news junkie again, city pool funds.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_07]: And what else have we got going on?
- 18:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's about it here.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_07]: Another black bear sighting in St. Lawrence County.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah?
- 18:51[SPEAKER_07]: These bears all over the place.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_07]: No bear is going to be spotted in Chicago after the Democrats.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_08]: Finish up with things that's too bad.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_07]: That was just too bad.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_07]: But don't, you know, they were stupid and buffalo, too.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_07]: They put that new stadium right where the old one was out in the, out in the stick somewhere.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_07]: You know.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_07]: Well, what else we got a work session tonight?
- 19:17[SPEAKER_07]: They're going to talk about what they're going to talk about e-bikes.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_07]: E-bikes, safety.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_07]: Who's going to, who's going to talk about that?
- 19:32[SPEAKER_07]: Erica Anderson, the assistant to the city manager, Jeff Erdus, senior planner, Kristen Lyon, police captain.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_07]: Where's the chief?
- 19:45[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I wouldn't make it.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_07]: Some guy from a smart and medical center, injury prevention office.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I see these things go by all the time.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_07]: And I know these got to the right, but he's going to get hurt before the summer is out.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yep, somebody's going to be hurt.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_08]: So those are some topics for you.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_08]: You might have more to say, that's up to you.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_07]: And if you got plans, do you care about the semi-quencentennial?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_07]: Or is it just nothing to you?
- 20:24[SPEAKER_07]: You don't know what it is.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_07]: nineteen seventy six two hundred years that was a big deal all the coins you'd love to get the bison tenial quarters and the logos and t-shirts and everything was all over everybody was celebrating now we all hate each other and most half the people don't even have a mild affinity for america anymore and so it doesn't surprise me that most people don't know with the
- 21:01[SPEAKER_07]: you know, but you have any special plans.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_07]: I don't see, I don't see much in this area for community events.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, they'll probably be, you know, a little this or that, a flag raising at the lead generation or something.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_07]: But, you see, you know, we try to plan with any clips and we've got that blew up in our face because it didn't work out.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_07]: So, same thing with July
- 21:33[SPEAKER_07]: I saw a flag and bumped over to House I William Street this morning.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_07]: What nice.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_07]: Nice job, whoever you are.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_07]: Not a fancy neighborhood.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_07]: Not loomestriver, anything.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I wonder, I bet you, if you went down loomestrive today, would you see one flag?
- 21:52[SPEAKER_07]: And how many are up on Ives?
- 21:54[SPEAKER_07]: Except for the high school.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_08]: I see him.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_07]: And people just don't do that anymore.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_07]: Well, they can't do it for flag day because it coincidentally is Trump's birthday and we all have to hate Trump.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_07]: Trump's arrangement syndrome is so strong that we can't even celebrate flag day because it happens to be on his birthday.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_07]: We've created a heck of a country on this semi-quincentennial heavenly and what are we going on in the Middle East, some more rockets back and forth, it's the only rockets red
- 22:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_07]: Well, what a request a refuse to what's at all about.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you have to buy those refuse stickers and ones that say refuse, huh?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_07]: Or the stickers?
- 22:59[SPEAKER_07]: Not the thing it says refuse.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, I don't know.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_07]: I would say... Hmm.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_07]: You know that 96 gallon tote for 11 bucks a week?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_07]: That's not bad, man.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_07]: You get the city supplies the tote.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's not bad.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_07]: 11 bucks to get rid of your trash?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you can get down to a 32 gallon one for seven bucks a week, or you can just put a bag out with a sticker on it for five bucks.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a bad service, most people don't know about it, but, hmmm, are they going to set up a refuse fund to with the foundation for those who want to contribute to that?
- 24:03[SPEAKER_07]: Remember we told you there was a big fuss because the councilman showed and said he'd pay five hundred dollars for a t-box sign.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_07]: Well a t-box is the area where the we're a t-u ball up and hit it.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_07]: They call that a t-box.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_07]: And there's usually a sign there that has the hold on.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_07]: It says hold five, you know, Thompson Park Golf Club.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_07]: There's maybe a diagram of the hold, number yards, and then a sponsor for that sign.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_07]: And I guess up at I've said you got, well, I have nine holes but they were doing them for 1,000 bucks each.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_07]: The city was trying to do them for 500.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_07]: But with all the law firms, consultants, and engineering cartel people and others who do business with the city, they think you could sell 18 of them overnight.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_07]: Accounts them and told me last night.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_07]: Again, Jeff Graham didn't make it up.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_07]: Accounts them and told me five of 18 have been sold.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_07]: and it's June, bustin' out all over.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_07]: Only 500 bucks.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what to make out of that.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_07]: 7-5-5-1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call, but, and let's see if, is there anyone who would plan on donating, you can do it on a one-time or recurring basis to this pool fund?
- 25:35[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_07]: It's too bad they don't sell like asses or something.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: You could buy 100 passes and have people come to your house and pick one up and and beg for it or something, right?
- 25:51[SPEAKER_07]: 755-1240 is a phone number.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, what's up?
- 25:57[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, what's up?
- 25:58[SPEAKER_13]: Not too much now.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_13]: Do you realize this?
- 26:00[UNKNOWN]: What?
- 26:01[SPEAKER_13]: Do you know that the public has a house, the Senate?
- 26:04[SPEAKER_13]: and the presidency, so I was just wondering, how come I still have a democrat?
- 26:08[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I don't get it, I mean, I don't get it, but he wouldn't, our president Trump took office, the cranial words are going to be over in 24 hours, inflation's under control all in two weeks, and we've never been in this bad shape, we've had such a rough president, but nobody, I don't get it.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_07]: No, I'm sad, but I'm sad that our holiday is going to be ruined by all of this acrimony.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, but if you think about it, and of course you don't want to think about it.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_13]: Every time Biden opens his mouth.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_13]: You and your college shift down a stroll.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_13]: Now they're doing it to Trump, but that's what you can't do that.
- 26:49[UNKNOWN]: Still the same thing to Biden.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_07]: Well look at it.
- 26:52[UNKNOWN]: He did do two good things, immigration.
- 26:56[UNKNOWN]: He's on the control of the time.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's true, but you know, you think that I, you think I'm just a slave to Trump.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_07]: I criticize them all the time.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_07]: I think his, you know, walking off the set with Kristen Welker on NBC yesterday, over the weekend was stupid.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_07]: I think a lot of the things he says have stupid.
- 27:19[UNKNOWN]: Well, I've been driving all over the North Country, and I haven't seen one gasket closed because they ran out of gas.
- 27:25[UNKNOWN]: Not one.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_13]: I just, I mean, we're such a bad shape, but I don't get it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_13]: of funds.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_13]: And now we gotta pay for him.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_13]: Every time he sets up I mean the wars went off 15 times now that two week war we're going to have we should have never got into.
- 27:48[UNKNOWN]: I don't understand I really don't.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I know you're for trouble and he's done some good things but he's done so many.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_07]: Well how are things up here right?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_07]: I'll stand doing.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_07]: on the hill that we have a little bit of a breeze but it's about out well that's good we've got your uh you still got your runners all back there with the flares oh the homeless people yeah they're they're still there I mean some of uh I don't see him as much but some of your uh relatives from down on the main street they keep an eye on him for me well I've been down there two or three times I see all this smoke come in to play here comes a fire truck I just
- 28:33[SPEAKER_13]: I don't get it.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_13]: They said they had them a permit.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_13]: They just built.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_13]: They said they had 20 empty.
- 28:38[UNKNOWN]: I wonder why they're not putting it there.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_07]: They probably just don't want to go.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_07]: I know those firemen are tired of walking out in the woods looking for a fire.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_13]: That's a long ways to go.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_07]: They never had that when you were in were they?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, we have a lot of grass flirts, but it wasn't all of us.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, all right.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_07]: Well, anyway, I just wanted to bring up a few points, but that's it.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_13]: All that is, is my opinion.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_13]: That'll mean to get a call and put me down.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_13]: That's just no.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_07]: You got your flag out.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, I always have my flag out.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_07]: Good for you.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_07]: Good for you.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_07]: Be it non-fat, too, right?
- 29:23[UNKNOWN]: No, yeah.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_07]: We're proud of you.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for your service.
- 29:26[UNKNOWN]: So I got to go right to my opinion.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, you sure do.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_07]: All righty.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_07]: Yep, big guys.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 29:36[UNKNOWN]: Okay, Jeff.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_07]: I don't mind.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_07]: One of our fine citizens North cider too.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, well, so am I.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's good to hear.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_07]: That's good to hear.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_07]: He's got his flag up.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_07]: Not enough people do.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_07]: You know,
- 29:58[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe if we knew that building could have been saved, if we could have, see the problem of that building is being torn down, you can say somebody paid the 69 granted back taxes.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_07]: But then what it essentially doing, you're paying it on behalf of the LLC controls by the people who skip town allegedly.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that doesn't do any good.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm surprised there was never any foreclosure for seedings.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_07]: But, you know, these agencies would rather stick the taxpayers directly with the cost rather than take out out of their little nest eggs they have.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so I don't know.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_07]: It's done now.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a bad looking building.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_07]: We don't really know what the cost would have been to stabilize it or to get up.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_07]: professional engineering opinion or something, it's interesting that a building of that size, not like some shed that caught fire or something, but a building of that size.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_07]: Somebody at City Hall can just say, oh, let's stare it down, sign a contract with a demolition company without even knowing how they're going to pay for it because they didn't have a bond or anything that's passed at that point.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_07]: Not supposed to question these things, but after noon you're on the air.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_07]: Hello?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_09]: You know what?
- 31:31[SPEAKER_09]: I had a disagree with.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_09]: You're not about none particular.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_09]: But you sound so negative, but everybody hates what we don't care about the greatest super-stant-to-or what I want.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_09]: Allow people to just have a little
- 31:47[SPEAKER_09]: get the girl I'll have a little party with your family in the front, and forget about projects, whoever's the history, yes, and it doesn't have to be all about Trump or all about the Democrats, let's just be glad we don't have such a great country, and give you girl I'll don't have some states for the governor, and have a good all's time, I'd like to go down to the
- 32:16[SPEAKER_09]: the water I thought I can't make it but I better going to have a little a boat and I'm living in 70 ships when they had the big boat in the New York city.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_09]: That was beautiful.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_09]: And I was supposed to recover the boat and I was staying in great stuff.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_09]: So, let's be more positive about that.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_07]: We will.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.

- 37:53[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_07]: But if you're coming back, is it too risky to come back on 81, or should you go to the backroads?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_07]: But you know, all those fireworks that you're going to see up a long, point-pun-hint, you know, point-pun-insala, and pillar-point, and St. Lawrence, that was came from somewhere.

- 44:24[SPEAKER_07]: Who did the asbestos survey?
- 44:25[SPEAKER_07]: Or was it not done?
- 44:28[SPEAKER_07]: And that's an interesting point, you know, usually if you want to take something down the engineering cartel, which is through the ringer, but I didn't see any of that going on there.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I get all those conversations that were actually five days June 14th, right.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_10]: The resolution in Congress in 1777 to say that this is the start of the strikes, and that's what we'll look like in the future.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_10]: Excuse me.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_07]: I got a little fall in my arm.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_10]: It was officially established by after Congress 1949.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_10]: And can some major became the first state to make it a state holiday.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_10]: States are allowed to do this.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_10]: New York followed that.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_10]: So it's uh, but it's not as official federal holiday.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_07]: How many people you think?
- 45:32[SPEAKER_07]: No, who Nancy, the Nancy Ross?
- 45:38[SPEAKER_10]: So the first, Nancy Ross, what was her name?
- 45:43[SPEAKER_07]: Who was her name?
- 45:45[SPEAKER_07]: Who was the first flag?
- 45:48[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it was Ross, but there was a Nancy, he said.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_07]: Betsy Ross, that's right, Betsy Ross.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that was New York State, too, over in, uh, oh boy, how lost lost lost.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_07]: Remember back in, back in like 1976, and you were there as I was, you know, people were dressed up in colonial outfits, and there were people pretending they were Betsy Ross, and there's none of that now.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Betsy, that was New York State, too.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_10]: It was at over time by a South of Rochester, down in the and Lake area, it was at, yeah.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, if it's not a national, it's not a federal holiday yet, uh, states are allowed to do that.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_10]: So what, what is, uh, what do you have planned for July 4th, the semi-quincengenial?
- 46:33[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just going to look for the forward to around the city that you can always see lights up skylight.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_10]: That was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was,
- 46:56[SPEAKER_10]: Basically, I don't sell any fireworks in myself, and I just want you from the city.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_10]: I watch them from the city.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_10]: I don't, do we have them this year or not?
- 47:07[SPEAKER_10]: I don't remember.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_07]: You see, I don't know if there's a concert in the park or if fireworks or anything, because you're thinking, like, send a press release here, and we'd hang it up right in front of us here, so we could read about it every day, but I haven't heard anything.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_07]: That's too bad.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know, it's just, but you know that.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_10]: So you're going to celebrate just about any time you want.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_10]: I don't fly my flag every day because I hold the military rules.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_10]: Sunrise and sunset.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_21]: Mm-hmm.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, sometimes you see 8 a.m. 2.5 p.m. That's the army way to go.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_10]: But traditionally, it's sunrise and sunset.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you're probably the only flag up on an ice that a whole part of town.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_10]: No, there's a few street street right now.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_10]: I'm off on the corner so you can see if you're going to find the original.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_07]: Is Jake have one up across the street?
- 48:13[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, I don't think so.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_07]: Huh.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_07]: What's he thinking?
- 48:17[SPEAKER_10]: I guess if you see, say on the internet, well, the guys that you still live next door is an army camp
- 48:25[SPEAKER_07]: but for him yeah okay he was out all right sounds good
- 48:37[SPEAKER_07]: All right, thank you.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks, bye now.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_06]: Anyway, around the corner, around the continent, around the clock.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_06]: This is the news in talk authority, AM-1240.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_06]: W-A-T-A.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_23]: Constantino won the debate, and the moment everyone's talking about proved it.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_23]: Trump endorsed businessman Anthony Constantino delivered a commanding performance against career politician Robert Smullen.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_23]: Constantino talked about creating American jobs, building a company with over 1,000 employees and standing up to Democrat boycotts in political attacks, all while self-funding his campaign to serve the people of New York's 21st district.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_23]: Small and appeared angry, defensive, and unprepared, but the most talked about moment came at the end.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_23]: After praising Smollin's military service in his closing remarks, Constantino walked over to shake his hand.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_23]: Smollin refused, turning his back in front of the entire audience.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_23]: Constantino later said, If he can't shake my hand, how can he work with people in Washington?
- 49:33[SPEAKER_23]: The contrast couldn't be clearer.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_23]: On June 23, vote for Anthony Constantino.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_23]: He's Trump endorsed the job creator, outsider, and fighter.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_23]: He's nobody's man, but yours.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_23]: Early voting starts June 13th.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_23]: I'm Anthony Garza-Tino and I approve this message.

- 53:09[SPEAKER_07]: Um... Oh, July 1st is the concert in the park.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_07]: It's a Wednesday.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_07]: It's also, dominion day, isn't it, in Canada?
- 53:22[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's what they call it when Ashley was a kid.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_07]: Now it's the Canada Day or something.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_07]: But, yeah, things have gone down hell over too.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you know, when the Prime Minister quits and starts dating Katy Perry, I mean, that's something.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_07]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_08]: Good afternoon, Jeff, just wanted to share a thought or a concern, you know, the hooties,
- 53:46[SPEAKER_08]: up there finger on the trigger in red seed there off the coast of Yemen entrance to the red seed of Bobelman dead straights and if they got those guys close the Bobelman dead straights entrance to the red seed like they tried to do there a couple of years ago if they're successful in doing that it'll make the closing of the
- 54:11[SPEAKER_08]: straight or four moves seem like a church picnic and I'm really concerned that they're going to raise some hell there.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_08]: I'm hope I'm wrong and I have friends, friends, and relations who are working over in that area and it's nice.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_08]: So I just thought I'd share that concern that we've got to, you know it's a quagmar over there, all those different
- 54:42[SPEAKER_07]: it's a real quagmar and i'm not very optimistic but anyway those are my thoughts all right well thank you well my concerns too we heard that this morning the hoodies are up to no good but i'll tell you something you know where the red sea is everybody okay that was in the bible one that the same red sea anyway
- 55:11[SPEAKER_07]: were committed to the destruction of Israel and killing, you know, Jews and all of that.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_07]: But these countries like Saudi Arabia tripping in wealth, wearing robes and all sorts of jewelry and all this other stuff and building these fancy buildings that are air conditioned out in 120 degree heat.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_07]: And they buy hundreds of U.S. fighter aircraft, and they never earn the sky.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_07]: I wonder if they do some, I mean, you know where Yemen is in relation to Saudis.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, just a, you know, I'm skipping a jump.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_07]: They do something about it.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_07]: Why isn't always got to be us?
- 55:47[SPEAKER_07]: Or the Israelis?
- 55:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, why is the city spending five million dollars that can sold from the hydrocontractor with Nairmoawk?
- 56:05[SPEAKER_07]: Well, they're not spending five million dollars that I know of.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_11]: month or two will go to the city was going to send the five million dollars on the consultant from all the area for the hydro contract with the national red when it national run-down yeah i don't think it was that much money but i'll take your word for it but uh i don't know you'd have to ask them and uh if that's the case they don't need to raise this tax
- 56:41[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, okay, might you mind it?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_07]: You know, everybody talks about this hydro thing.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_07]: Like there's some kind of solution, like oh well we can just renegotiate it, they'll give us no.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_07]: National Grid can't wait for the day that's over.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_07]: It's like when you have a new mortgage paid off or something, you're not looking to keep payments going.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_07]: Your glad it's done.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_07]: and they'll be glad to be getting full rate for power from the city for its buildings as well as not having to pay all that excessive cost for surplus power I'm not so sure there is a solution but they are to consultant because they obviously don't know what the solution is either if they knew they'd do it yeah
- 57:36[SPEAKER_07]: So, 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call, to be on the air today.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_07]: And it's got a couple of minutes left, not too much time.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_07]: Don't forget to look at that page on newscrunk about the pool fund.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_07]: You want to give money, but you don't know who you're really giving it to.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_07]: I assume it's collected through the foundation, but they're then where's it go.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_07]: Just whatever.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_07]: Also, I see Bruce Blakeman, the guy running for governor, put out a picture of him and his wife at Saratogi yesterday or over the weekend, they were at the, you know, the big fancy thing, the Belmont Stakes, it's the last year, it'll be held at Saratoga before going back to Elmont New York on Long Island.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_07]: But Mr. Blakeman there with his wife, he hasn't been up here yet, hasn't.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_07]: I don't mean to be rude and she's very attractive.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_07]: She's a trophy wife, there's no doubt about it.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_07]: It's guy 70 years old, he's got a trophy wife.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_07]: She's beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_07]: And, of course, like any rich people going to Saratoga on a racing weekend, dressed to the nines.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yep, he's one of us.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_07]: If there's anybody who can make Kathy Hoka look like one of us, it's this guy.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_07]: And she's hardly one of us.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_07]: Because she and her husband are getting a big caught off the whole Buffalo Bills.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_07]: Nine cents out there, stadium.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_07]: So, not too thrilled about the group in a tutorial race.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_07]: I was talking to a friend of mine from up north.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_08]: He says, I'm not running for him or I can't do it.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_07]: once he found out he was rest of the nines and hanged out at the bellmine steaks no interest yep so we'll see what happens i don't know but i think uh... i might just write in at least a funic you know wanted to run anyway this this guy's not going to win any
- 59:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he has no appeals to me.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_07]: None.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, listen, I got to go with somebody's trying to crawl in, and I want to remind you, Glenn Curry, I'll be here at five o'clock today on this community, broadcast to station, we are A.M. 1240, WATN, we're in one or two.
