- 0:00Speaker 1: What is the toughest division in the NFL after seeing
- 0:04Speaker 1: the NFC South go 0 for 4, not one win
- 0:08Speaker 1: amongst them?
- 0:09Speaker 2: I'm not going to lie to you. The NFC North
- 0:12Speaker 2: is tough.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Oh, it's a gauntlet.
- 0:17Speaker 2: The NFC North is tough.
- 0:18Speaker 1: You got Green Bay, you got Detroit, you got Chicago,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and then you got Minnesota. So you're putting them at one? No,
- 0:29Speaker 1: I would say we're probably two.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Okay, you're two. And I'll give it to NFC West
- 0:33Speaker 2: right now.
- 0:34Speaker 1: NFC West, yes. The way that 49ers came out last week.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I don't know if it was the travel or what
- 0:40Speaker 1: was going on, but they put Belt to Los Angeles.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Their whole division, all their wins were impressive.
- 0:48Speaker 1: What the Arizona Cardinals did to beat the Chargers was
- 0:51Speaker 1: very impressive.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, all their wins were impressive. So, I'm going to
- 0:54Speaker 3: put the NFC West as number one. Okay, let's give
- 0:58Speaker 3: me a two-three. You got NFC West, number one, NFC North,
- 1:02Speaker 3: number two. Give me the third division. I'm going to
- 1:05Speaker 3: go to NFC North. They earned it. Bengals beat a
- 1:08Speaker 3: tough Bucs team. Ravens beat Colts. And the Steelers beat
- 1:15Speaker 3: the Falcons.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm going to go to NFC North.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Rough game for the Browns. But that's kind of how
- 1:20Speaker 1: you're the division finishing. You added Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Browns.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So that makes sense there.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So let me get your fifth division. Michael, who do
- 1:28Speaker 1: you think is the fifth toughest division in the NFL?
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'm going to go to AFC East, bro. AFC East. Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We saw some good football there. Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 2: AFC East. AFC East.
- 1:41Speaker 1: You know, we got the Bills, who I think is
- 1:43Speaker 1: the number one team. The Patriots. I would have us too.
- 1:47Speaker 1: The Jets looked dang good this past week. And then
- 1:50Speaker 1: we had the Dolphins, who got behind the woodshed. Let
- 1:53Speaker 1: me hear your fourth division.
- 1:56Speaker 2: This is tough. This is real tough.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I know who my fourth division is.
- 2:04Speaker 3: It's really a toss-up between the South or the North
- 2:11Speaker 3: on the AFC.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:13Speaker 1: You got the North at three.
- 2:16Speaker 2: AFC North. Then I'm going to go AFC South.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You got the AFC South.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 1: We got the Texans. We got the Jags, the Colts,
- 2:25Speaker 1: and then the Titans struggled that week. So we had,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you know, we predicted to go Texans, Jags, Titans, Colts.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Jacksonville Jaguars I think are going to be a lot
- 2:33Speaker 1: tougher than people think.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I don't think we slept on them. When we did
- 2:37Speaker 2: the rankings, did we sleep on them?
- 2:38Speaker 3: They went 13 and– like when we did the rankings
- 2:42Speaker 3: a while back, we didn't sleep on them, bro. We
- 2:44Speaker 3: knew the Jags was going to be serious. We had
- 2:46Speaker 3: them two in the division, right behind the Texans.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:49Speaker 2: That's fair. That's fair.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you another quarterback besides the Jags defense,
- 2:54Speaker 3: Trevor Morris looked like he's arrived.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Oh, my God. He was picking– he had a throw
- 2:59Speaker 1: on the right side of the end zone through four defenders,
- 3:03Speaker 1: hits a receiver. I'm like, his anticipation, his accuracy, he's
- 3:07Speaker 1: playing at another level right now.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I think Trevor Lawrence might have been the dark horse
- 3:12Speaker 3: in the MVP.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I think– we forgot about him, but I think he's
- 3:17Speaker 1: showing why he was the generational talent coming out of
- 3:20Speaker 1: the draft.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I want to– bro, so often, right, we see quarterbacks
- 3:25Speaker 3: struggle and fail. Then they reach these coaches and they
- 3:28Speaker 3: just start prospering. And I'm going to say that Jags
- 3:33Speaker 3: made the right call by bringing in Liam Cohen to
- 3:37Speaker 3: the call because since he's got under the development of
- 3:41Speaker 3: Trevor Lawrence, Trevor Lawrence has won 13 games in a season.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And now this.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Year in year two under him, he looks phenomenal.
- 3:51Speaker 1: He looks amazing. And they had some receivers. You don't
- 3:53Speaker 1: know everybody's name, but they out there making plays. You
- 3:56Speaker 1: got Parker Washington, who's out there killing. He's about to
- 3:59Speaker 1: get a bag. Jacoby, he was making plays. They were just,
- 4:04Speaker 1: it was a lot going on. Brian Thomas Jr. was
- 4:07Speaker 1: being special.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I think where people also didn't mention enough, C. Josh
- 4:12Speaker 3: Stroud played really, really good football.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Played his ass off. The only other division that I
- 4:16Speaker 1: think we may have left out, I think right on
- 4:20Speaker 1: the edge, is that AFC West.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Raiders beat Dolphins. That's like, ah, we know they're tanking.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Chargers losing to the Cardinals kind.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Of really blew it to me. And we're talking about
- 4:34Speaker 2: right now. Yeah. I'm not going to lie.
- 4:37Speaker 3: The Raiders, Miami really wasn't like a, oh, wow, that
- 4:41Speaker 3: was an impressive win to me. But the Chargers losing
- 4:45Speaker 3: to the Cardinals really kind of shocked me because I
- 4:47Speaker 3: thought the Chargers, this was.
- 4:49Speaker 2: The year they was going to really.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Mike McDaniels, they got a new O-line, revamped.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so that kind of really set me back on them,
- 4:57Speaker 3: so that's why I kind of stayed in the AFC
- 4:59Speaker 3: with it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Justin Herbert always leaves me just wanting more. Like, great player,
- 5:03Speaker 1: but there's something that's missing. So what we got is
- 5:06Speaker 1: an AFC East at the 5th, AFC South at number 4,
- 5:09Speaker 1: AFC North at number 3, NFC North at number 2,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and then the NFC West at number 1.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yep. This is special, bro.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I'm very excited to see how this year plays out.
