For our ICN6211 breakout dev board, we will support classic 40-pin 800x480 displays but what about some funky shapes? A second standard 40-pin connector pinout is used on square, bar, and round displays. Some of these have capacitive touch overlays, and all are RGB666 with different resolutions. The 2.1" and 4" round ones look fantastic, as do the bar displays. We even got a 'half round' display that looks like it would be used for car gauges.
