Bautista Returns with Fire, Not Form | Baltimore Orioles News
Felix Bautista’s comeback from torn rotator cuff surgery is underway — and while his first outing for Double-A Chesapeake wasn’t dominant (22 pitches, 3 walks, 1 hit, 1 out), his fastball was clocked at 97 mph — a promising sign that rivals his pre-injury velocity. With command still shaky, the hope is he’ll regain his 2025 form (2.60 ERA, 50 Ks, 19 saves) and potentially return to the Orioles this season, offering a huge boost as they chase playoff contention.
