- 0:56Speaker 2: out of raisin cookies today. He nods and leaves. The
- 1:01Speaker 2: next day he returns, same man, same counter. Do you
- 1:05Speaker 2: have raisin cookies? He asks again. The woman chuckles, Nope,
- 1:10Speaker 2: still no raisin cookies today. Third day, same guy. He

- 1:19Speaker 1: Now?

- 2:14Speaker 2: here today. We're talking about something that shapes every experience
- 2:19Speaker 2: we have, perspective. Two people can face the same situation
- 2:25Speaker 2: and walk away with totally different stories. Why perspective, the
- 2:31Speaker 2: lens we use to view the world, determines how we respond,
- 2:35Speaker 2: how we grow, and how we treat others. But before
- 2:40Speaker 2: we explore that some more, let's get into today's trivia question.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Are you ready for it?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Here?
- 2:47Speaker 2: It is which famous artist once said? I am seeking,

- 4:44Speaker 2: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 4:48Speaker 2: The question was which famous artist once said, I am seeking,
- 4:54Speaker 2: I am striving, I am in it with all my heart.
- 4:58Speaker 2: The answer Vincent Yes van Go. Despite struggling with mental
- 5:04Speaker 2: illness and rejection throughout his life, held tightly to his passion.
- 5:10Speaker 2: He created over two thousand works of art, many of
- 5:13Speaker 2: them without recognition while he was alive. That quote captures
- 5:18Speaker 2: his spirit, determined, searching, and all in. He didn't just paint,
- 5:25Speaker 2: He poured his soul onto the canvas. He is a
- 5:29Speaker 2: reminder that passion, paired with perspective can keep us going
- 5:33Speaker 2: even when the world doesn't seem to notice. Vincent Van
- 5:38Speaker 2: go Now, you know. Now, let's talk about perspective. Think
- 5:50Speaker 2: of it like this. Two people stuck in traffic. One
- 5:54Speaker 2: is fuming, gripping the wheel, blasting the horn. The other
- 5:58Speaker 2: rolls the window down, enjoys the breeze and uses a
- 6:02Speaker 2: moment to take a few deep breaths. Same traffic jam,
- 6:06Speaker 2: different mindset. That is perspective. Perspective doesn't erase the challenge,
- 6:14Speaker 2: but it changes how we experience it. When we choose
- 6:18Speaker 2: to look at life through the lens of possibility, growth,
- 6:24Speaker 2: or even humor, Suddenly the hard stuff doesn't feel quite
- 6:28Speaker 2: as heavy, and the good stuff it shines even brighter
- 6:33Speaker 2: than before. That's not toxic positivity. It's intentional living. It's
- 6:40Speaker 2: saying this isn't ideal, but can I learn here? How
- 6:46Speaker 2: can I respond in a way that makes me proud?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Your mindset might not change the situation, but it will
- 6:54Speaker 2: always shape your story perspective. Today, let's end with this
- 7:11Speaker 2: quote from Maya Angelou. If you don't like something, change it.
- 7:17Speaker 2: If you can't change it, change your attitude. Sometimes the
- 7:22Speaker 2: only thing we can control is how we see things.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You won't always get to choose your circumstances, but you
- 7:30Speaker 2: always get to choose your focus, your frame, your reaction.
- 7:36Speaker 2: That's the power of perspective. So this week, when something
- 7:41Speaker 2: challenges you, stop breathe and ask is there another way
- 7:46Speaker 2: to see this? Sometimes all it takes is a shift
- 7:50Speaker 2: in view to see the same life with new eyes.
- 7:55Speaker 2: So until next time, remember, stay hopeful, stay curious, and
- 8:00Speaker 2: stay positive. You've been listening to Positively three sixty five.
