- 0:00Speaker 1: It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
- 0:03Speaker 1: at its time, right now for today's word forged in
- 0:09Speaker 1: the fire, Forged in the fire. Psalms one O five
- 0:14Speaker 1: eighteen says in the Amplified Joseph was laid in chains
- 0:18Speaker 1: of iron, and his soul entered into the iron. You know,
- 0:24Speaker 1: there are seasons in life when it feels as though
- 0:27Speaker 1: everything is working against us, when the doors closed, the
- 0:32Speaker 1: accusations come, and the waiting seems endless. Joseph knew that
- 0:37Speaker 1: feeling all too well. Falsely accused and forgotten. In prison
- 0:42Speaker 1: for thirteen long years, he wore chains of iron on
- 0:46Speaker 1: his body. But scripture tells us something even deeper happened.
- 0:50Speaker 1: His soul entered the iron. God was doing a work
- 0:54Speaker 1: beneath the surface. While Joseph was confirmed physically, his character
- 0:59Speaker 1: was being strengthened spiritually. The iron that seemed to restrain
- 1:04Speaker 1: him was actually refining him. See God often uses pressure
- 1:10Speaker 1: to prepare us for promotion. Let me say that again
- 1:13Speaker 1: for the people in the back. God often uses pressure
- 1:17Speaker 1: to prepare us for promotion. Joseph couldn't have led a nation,
- 1:22Speaker 1: interpreted dreams with clarity, or handled sudden authority without first
- 1:27Speaker 1: developing endurance, humility, and integrity in the dark place. See
- 1:33Speaker 1: what looked like a set that was actually a set up.
- 1:37Speaker 1: The present was not punishment, it was preparation. Come own, Jesus.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You see this pattern all through the scripture. See because
- 1:45Speaker 1: Estra lost her parents and lived as a foreigner in
- 1:48Speaker 1: a strange land, feeling isolated and unseen. Yet God used
- 1:52Speaker 1: her courage to save an entire nation. Elijah, after calling
- 1:56Speaker 1: down fire from heaven, fell into deep discouragement and fair
- 2:01Speaker 1: Still God met him there, restored him, and then established
- 2:04Speaker 1: him as one of the greatest prophets of faith. None
- 2:08Speaker 1: of them would have become who God called them to
- 2:11Speaker 1: be without walking through those difficult, hidden seasons. So if
- 2:17Speaker 1: you're in a dark place today, don't assume God has
- 2:20Speaker 1: abandoned you. The darkness is not the end of your story.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It's part of the process. Their quality is being forged
- 2:29Speaker 1: in you right now That cannot be developed in comfort. Strength, perseverance, compassion,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and faith are often born in places of pain and uncertainty.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Our position doesn't mean you're failing. It often means you're
- 2:42Speaker 1: actually growing. So resist the temptation to complain about how
- 2:46Speaker 1: unfair it feels, or who wronged you. God is using
- 2:51Speaker 1: what was meant to break you to actually build you.
- 2:54Speaker 1: The iron you're carrying today is shaping your soul for
- 2:58Speaker 1: tomorrow's responsibility. So you stay faithful, you stay humble, you
- 3:03Speaker 1: continue to trust in God. When the time is right,
- 3:07Speaker 1: God will lift you out and you'll see that every
- 3:10Speaker 1: moment was preparing you for something greater than you imagine.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Other Thank you that even in the dark and difficult
- 3:17Speaker 1: places you're working in our lives. Thank you that what
- 3:20Speaker 1: feels heavy is strengthening our soul in preparing us for
- 3:24Speaker 1: what's ahead. Help us God to trust you in the
- 3:26Speaker 1: process and believe that you're using every challenge for our good. God.
- 3:30Speaker 1: We declare that we're being made stronger and more prepared
- 3:33Speaker 1: for your purpose in Jesus' name. Now that's your word
- 3:36Speaker 1: for today. Take it, apply it to your everyday life,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and you continue to be encouraged and inspired. It's early
- 3:42Speaker 1: body praise party. I am Sherry Mackie.
