- 0:01Romans chapter 4 let us pray our God who reigns on high Elohim,
- 0:14we love you God. We thank you, Father, for
- 0:19everything that you are already doing for us, Lord, the things
- 0:23seen and unseen, God, the things we're aware of and the things
- 0:27we're unaware of, God, the things that are so incredibly
- 0:31minute and the things that are so incredibly obvious.
- 0:36And so, God, we get out of our own way.
- 0:39We laid down, Lord. We laid down in your presence
- 0:43like dead men, Father. We want to touch from you, God.
- 0:48We want to receive the fullness that you have for us.
- 0:51Glory in the highest God Almighty, holy, holy, holy is
- 1:02your name. God, we throw our crowns at your
- 1:07feet. God, we acknowledge your
- 1:10supremacy over all lands and all people groups.
- 1:14We acknowledge your deity over every false God and everything
- 1:19that tries to exalt itself over the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
- 1:25Lord, we tear down strongholds in the name of Jesus Christ,
- 1:29anything that is in opposition to your holy name.
- 1:35God, purge the things out of us that do not belong.
- 1:38Refine us in the refiners fire. We thank you, Lord Jesus for
- 1:44treading the winepress. We thank you, Lord Jesus for our
- 1:48robes. God that are stained in your
- 1:51blood. Father, Father, us.
- 1:56Teach us your eternal paths. Show us more of who you are.
- 2:01God, take us to new heights. We want to see you rightly.
- 2:06We want to see you high and lifted up.
- 2:10We love you, King Jesus, we worship you, King Jesus, in
- 2:16spirit and truth. Holy Spirit, indwell us and fill
- 2:21us. Holy Spirit, teach us.
- 2:26Holy Spirit, comfort and exhort us and discipline us.
- 2:30Holy Spirit, give us discernment for this hour, for this time,
- 2:35for such a time as this. We cry out.
- 2:38Marry not to come, Lord, come the Spirit and the Bride say,
- 2:43Come, Lord, I pray against the Wiles of the evil. 1 Lord, I
- 2:52pray against all demonic strongholds in the name of
- 2:56Jesus, God, purify us, God, sanctify us as we consecrate
- 3:02this temple. Lord, get rid of all idol
- 3:06worship. Get rid of all fear and doubt,
- 3:09God, and let us rise to the occasion, Father, let us rise to
- 3:14new heights with you, Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham,
- 3:19Isaac and Jacob, Israel's God, you are our everything.
- 3:26Eli Eliyon, thank you. Thank you God for this complete
- 3:32word. Thank you God for your holy
- 3:34scriptures. Thank you, God, that You've
- 3:37given us life and life abundant, Father.
- 3:40We want to know You and know all of Christ's sufferings.
- 3:45God, Christ and Christ crucified is all we desire, Father.
- 3:50So as we get into Your word today, let it get into us.
- 3:53Hide it in our hearts, Father, so that we might not sin against
- 3:57You. Father, I pray in the deepest
- 4:00parts of our innermost being, God, it'll be truth that we're
- 4:04standing on, righteousness that we're living in.
- 4:08Running the race well, God, taking the gospel out.
- 4:12Give us peace today, Father. Remind us of how far we've come.
- 4:16Father, remind us that we were once dead in our trespasses,
- 4:21God, and I pray that you'll help us to understand just how much
- 4:25you love us, God, I pray that we can share our testimony with
- 4:29others today. Lord, divine encounters, God,
- 4:34divine appointments. Father, I pray that we'll raise
- 4:38our level of faith up over our emotions, over our feelings,
- 4:43over what the dialogue, God of all the propaganda is.
- 4:48God will raise faith up over that, Father, and will rightly
- 4:53divide the word today that is alive and active, God.
- 4:56And I pray that it'll go out to the ends of the earth, Father,
- 4:59to save many, to bring many into repentance and the remission of
- 5:04sins. And blessed is he whose sins are
- 5:06not counted against Him. Father, I thank you, Lord, for
- 5:11all the many things that you do. I thank you, Father, for who you
- 5:15are. For you are a great and loving
- 5:18and merciful God. We say yes and Amen to all of
- 5:26your ways and all of your words. God, heaven and earth shall pass
- 5:32away, but not one of these words.
- 5:34God discern us. God teach us.
- 5:37God, show us more of your revealed will for our lives
- 5:44today. We love you, King Jesus, heal
- 5:47our broken bodies. Help us to know that you're
- 5:50near. You're fighting our battles.
- 5:52You are for us and not against us.
- 5:55Help make us to be the peacemakers for this earth, the
- 5:59ministers of reconciliation. God, a Kingdom of priests.
- 6:02God help us, Lord, to step into our bridal identity today.
- 6:08And it's in Jesus Christ, holy and precious name that I pray.
- 6:14Amen. Well, let's start in verse one.
- 6:20What shall we say then that Abraham, our father, as
- 6:23pertaining to the flesh, has found?
- 6:26So we're going to see that this is justification by faith, and
- 6:30Paul's going to illustrate it for us as he paints this
- 6:33masterpiece. And every single one of these
- 6:37words holds so much weight. There is no mincing of words
- 6:43throughout the book of Romans. Paul was very, very careful to
- 6:49choose every single one of these words and it is divinely
- 6:57inspired by the Holy Spirit. So lock in, let's pay attention.
- 7:02He's going to wax eloquently about Father Abraham, verse 2
- 7:08For if Abraham were justified by works, he has what to glory, but
- 7:16not before God. So he's saying that if Father
- 7:21Abraham had lived a perfect little life, then he would have
- 7:24been able to glory in that. But we know that he did not, and
- 7:29he was. There's no way that he could be
- 7:31justified before God by his works.
- 7:34It is by grace and grace alone, which is what we're going to see
- 7:38through this chapter 3. For what says the Scripture?
- 7:43Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for
- 7:47righteousness. So we know that God imputed
- 7:51righteousness into Abraham's account for his salvation
- 7:57because he raised his level of faith friends, and he was not
- 8:03circumcised at this time. And so this is an argument for
- 8:08all the new early 1st century church where the Jews thought
- 8:13that all the new believers had to go through Moses, They had to
- 8:17be circumcised to be able to be made right with God.
- 8:20And Paul's going to paint a picture here that shows them
- 8:23that Abraham, the father of faith, the one that they look to
- 8:28for their salvation, was not circumcised before God
- 8:34accredited to him as righteousness.
- 8:40For now, to him that works is the reward not reckoned of
- 8:44grace, but of debt. So he's telling us here in verse
- 8:50four that if we were to work for something, we should expect our
- 8:57payment for it. We don't do it for free.
- 9:00And he's going to show us here that Abraham could never work
- 9:05his way into the salvation. It was faith, friends.
- 9:10That is how it was imputed to him, his righteousness, and we
- 9:14must increase our level of faith.
- 9:19Faith is believing the things that are not yet as if they
- 9:26already are. We're we're by faith.
- 9:29We're taking hold of the promises.
- 9:32And what did Jesus Christ tell Thomas?
- 9:35He said, blessed are you because you see and believe, but how
- 9:40much more blessed are they that don't see and believe?
- 9:45And that's you, and that's me. And Jesus also said that of all
- 9:49the prophets, there was none greater than John the Baptist.
- 9:52But the least in the Kingdom of God is greater than John the
- 9:56Baptist. You can see here, friends, that
- 10:00you and I are so incredibly blessed to house the Holy
- 10:05Spirit, to be saved by grace, friends.
- 10:09And we know that Abraham all the way back before God made the
- 10:16nation Israel, before he gave them the complete scripture and
- 10:20all the Canon that Abraham believed by faith.
- 10:24And that is what the currency of heaven is.
- 10:28That is what pleases God. It is impossible to please God
- 10:32without faith. And Abraham took hold of that.
- 10:35Even whenever he was led up on the mountain to sacrifice his
- 10:39only son, Isaac, he believed by faith that God could raise him
- 10:44from the dead. And you Fast forward to Jesus,
- 10:46and that's exactly what he did. And so you can see here that God
- 10:51is looking for us to increase our faith.
- 10:56Do not believe all of the dialogue of the natural and the
- 11:01physical, friends. It will rob you of faith.
- 11:04Fear and faith cannot cohabitate.
- 11:08And you must see that we cannot be steeped in our own
- 11:14understanding and have faith. Faith supersedes all of our
- 11:20natural carnal thinking and reasoning ponderings.
- 11:24Friends, we must step in to the realm of the spiritual and by
- 11:31faith see what is actually happening all around us.
- 11:35And that is what Abraham was able to do.
- 11:37And God was well pleased to birth an entire nation and to
- 11:43give Abraham many sons and daughters of glory.
- 11:49Friends 5 But to him that works, and it's showing us in five that
- 11:58not but believes on him, but justifies the ungodly.
- 12:02His faith is counted for righteousness.
- 12:05So He's showing us here in verse 5 that all we need to do is
- 12:12believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and it will be just if I'd never
- 12:18done it, even though while we were sinning, Jesus died for us
- 12:24and we love because He first loved us and He loved us while
- 12:28we were still dead in our trespasses.
- 12:31What an amazing thought. Here in verse 5 is showing that
- 12:36it is faith, friends, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that
- 12:40results in his righteousness, His perfect life, His sinless
- 12:45life being imputed on to you and to me.
- 12:49And that is the only way that we're going to enter into the
- 12:51presence of God Almighty is by the blood of the Lamb, friends,
- 12:56covering us from the very top of our head, the palms of our
- 13:00hands, the back of our hands, our back, our stomachs, friends,
- 13:04our face, our legs, friends, our rear and our bottom of our feet,
- 13:10the top of our feet, our toes and fingers is being covered by
- 13:14the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ that was shed on Calvary
- 13:18for you and for me. That is the only way we're going
- 13:20to get there. And Paul here is showing us that
- 13:23if you're trying to work your way into heaven, it will never
- 13:26happen. You're not going to stand before
- 13:28God and say, look at all the things I've done.
- 13:31Look at all the money I've given away.
- 13:33Look at all the charities I've donated to, look at my tax
- 13:37exempt. Look at all of the things, the
- 13:40works. Look at every the miracles that
- 13:43were done in your name and look at all of the demons I cast out
- 13:49in your name. And he's going to say depart
- 13:52from me because you're not covered in the blood of Jesus
- 13:55Christ. Friends, that's it.
- 13:57That's the culmination of every single thing that you're reading
- 14:03about here in chapter 4. You need to understand that Paul
- 14:08wants us and he wanted the early church.
- 14:10And God wants us to know that it is not by works that we are
- 14:15saved, should any lest any man should boast, but it is by grace
- 14:20and grace alone, friends. It is a gift that we did not
- 14:25deserve. You and I deserved hell,
- 14:29friends, and because of His wonderful, beautiful gift that
- 14:35He wrought for us, He snatched the keys to death and hell, and
- 14:39He offers us eternal life. And not just then, but now.
- 14:43We get to see heaven come to earth, and His will be done here
- 14:48just as it is there. And that's what you need to
- 14:51understand, friends, is that if you are trying to work your way
- 14:54into heaven by all of the boxes that you check, it'll never
- 15:00amount to anything. It is a natural overflow of our
- 15:06correct understanding that we are sinners saved by grace, and
- 15:15that it is not by anything we do, but it is by everything that
- 15:19He did for us. And from that flows charitable
- 15:25acts, from that flows alms to the poor, from that flows taking
- 15:31care of widows and orphans in their time of distress.
- 15:35That's what you're going to have to understand here as we get
- 15:38through this chapter 6, even as David also describes the
- 15:44blessedness of the man unto whom God imputes righteousness
- 15:49without works. So here he's talking about in
- 15:53the book of Psalms, God hijacked David, the Holy Spirit hijacked
- 15:59him and had him pin down some words that Paul has captured the
- 16:04heart of God and he wants to reintroduce them into the New
- 16:09Testament. This is not just an Old
- 16:12Testament idea. It's it's, it was well beyond
- 16:15its years. It was speaking to the cross.
- 16:19And here Paul understands it also.
- 16:22The same spirit that hijacked David is hijacking Paul in this
- 16:27moment. And Paul remembers these words
- 16:29out of the book of Psalms. And what does he say?
- 16:327 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and
- 16:38whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the
- 16:45Lord will not impute sin. Blessed is he whose sins will
- 16:52never be counted against him. Friends, that is the whole idea.
- 16:58When you stand before a holy God, He is not going to see any
- 17:04of your sins because you are bathed in the blood of Christ.
- 17:14That is, the only way that we're ever going to stand before holy
- 17:18God, before we're ever going to be ushered into an eternal
- 17:21existence with God Almighty, is by the blood of the Lamb.
- 17:26And that's it. This perfect sinless life that
- 17:30He lived. And if you think that you can
- 17:34behave your way into heaven, you've missed the mark. 9 Comes
- 17:43this blessedness, then upon the circumcision only, or upon the
- 17:48uncircumcision also? For we say that faith was
- 17:52reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
- 17:54So here Paul is going to understand that this
- 17:57justification is apart from any of the outward ordinances that
- 18:02everyone was trying to look and to gauge where people sat with
- 18:07the Lord. Only God knows when a man or a
- 18:10woman is truly saved. It is not for us to try to
- 18:15determine. There are many ravenous wolves
- 18:18in sheep's clothing, friends, and there are many drug addicts
- 18:21and Alcoholics right now who are going to be there.
- 18:25So it's an upside down, inside out, paradoxical Kingdom.
- 18:32And that is what you need to understand, that it was the
- 18:35Pharisee that was the publican who was looking at the center
- 18:40and looking down on him as he was praying.
- 18:43And he says just I'm a Sinner. And the publican says, thank
- 18:49you. I'm not like this man.
- 18:50And he gives his pedigree. And God did not hear that man's
- 18:54prayer. And look at the 99 benchwarmers
- 18:58who sit on their blessed assurance and God's going hard
- 19:01after the one who is lost. You can see it, friends.
- 19:06You can see God's heart. If you think that you are
- 19:10standing, you are sinking. If you think that you have
- 19:14arrived, you're on the brink of dismay.
- 19:19It is only by acknowledging our sinfulness and our desperate
- 19:23need for a Savior that we are right with God.
- 19:28We have peace with God. Friends 10.
- 19:33How was it then reckoned when he was in circumcision or in
- 19:37uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in
- 19:41uncircumcision? So it was imputed to him, this
- 19:45blessedness from God Almighty, while he was still
- 19:49uncircumcised. And that is what you need to
- 19:52know about salvation, this outward expression of an inward
- 19:57change. The baptism, Friends, does not
- 20:00save somebody. It is.
- 20:02What God had already done to them, and it was just an outward
- 20:05expression, and circumcision is the same way. 11 And he received
- 20:12the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the
- 20:16faith which he had, yet, being uncircumcised, that he might be
- 20:20the father of all them that believe, though they not be
- 20:25circumcised, that righteousness might be imputed unto them also.
- 20:30So Paul is telling the early church, this 1st century church,
- 20:35he is showing them that they cannot require new converts into
- 20:41Christianity to be asked to be circumcised.
- 20:45And there is a movement even in this day, in this hour, that we
- 20:50think we can obtain some kind of super St. status by following
- 20:55after all of the Hebrew traditions and for people that
- 21:01are not for the people that are not circumcised, to get
- 21:06circumcised in a literal physical way today.
- 21:13And I want you to know that that is not the heart of God.
- 21:20God desires for you to circumcise the heart, friends.
- 21:25God desires for you to put on the righteousness of Jesus
- 21:29Christ that He won for us. He exuded naturally because He
- 21:36is the God man, all God and all man.
- 21:40And that is the only way that we're going to come unto the
- 21:42Father is through Jesus Christ. And that is what you need to
- 21:47know. It's not by these outward works,
- 21:50friends. And I know what the book of
- 21:52James says. What you need to know more than
- 21:56anything is that if you truly know the Lord Jesus Christ, all
- 22:03of the fruit that He is after will naturally come to fruition.
- 22:09There is no striving. His yoke is easy.
- 22:14His burden is light. If you are striving, friends,
- 22:18that is not from the Lord God Almighty. 12 And the father of
- 22:32circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but
- 22:39who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father
- 22:44Abraham, which he had, being yet uncircumcised.
- 22:49So you can see that it is not the outward workings that mark
- 22:55what is inwardly happening, friends, it's the other way
- 23:00around. When inwardly we become children
- 23:04of Abraham, we will outwardly express that out. 13 For the
- 23:09promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to
- 23:14Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the
- 23:19righteousness of faith. So we can see this justification
- 23:25apart from the law. So here the Jews at this time,
- 23:30they were thinking by keeping the law is what made them right
- 23:33with God. And when Jesus arrived on the
- 23:35scene, he fulfilled the entire law.
- 23:38And the law was, and we're going to see it in this little
- 23:40section, the law was only given to make us see our need for the
- 23:47Lord Jesus Christ. It was showing them throughout
- 23:52the time from Moses all the way to Christ, it was showing them
- 23:56that they could never uphold all of the law.
- 24:02And if they were to break one single commandment, they were
- 24:08guilty of breaking all of the law.
- 24:11And that is what we're going to see as we move through this.
- 24:14It is our dire need to be associated with the Lord Jesus
- 24:21Christ in His death, in His burial, in His resurrection and
- 24:26ascension, friends, and we are seated with Him in heavenly
- 24:30places. Praise God.
- 24:32Hallelujah, we love you, King Jesus. 14 For if they which are
- 24:37of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made
- 24:44of no effect. Did you catch that?
- 24:47I pray that you did. I pray that you see that if we
- 24:52think that it is our own righteousness that gets us
- 24:55there, then everything that Christ did is of no effect.
- 25:01You can see that faith is made void, friends, if we think we
- 25:04can work our way into heaven, 15 because the law works wrath for
- 25:11where no law is, there is no transgression.
- 25:14So imagine that friends, and this is a great theological deep
- 25:18dive that you should go on in the Hallows of your mind to try
- 25:24to understand what he was talking about back there in
- 25:27chapter 2 of Romans verses 131415, whenever he was talking
- 25:33about. They are a law unto themselves,
- 25:35those that do not have the law. And you can see here that he
- 25:41mentions it again in the sense that before Moses arrived on the
- 25:46scene and was given the tablets of the commandments, you can see
- 25:51here, and all the ordinances that followed in the law, You
- 25:55can see here that beforehand they were not guilty of
- 26:04transgressing the law because they had no law, and they were a
- 26:07law unto themselves. And God saw that it pleased Him
- 26:12to introduce the law to them to show them their need for Jesus
- 26:18Christ. And that is the divine mystery
- 26:20of the whole matter. Friends, when you look back on
- 26:22it, you can see God wanting to show us all the way up till now
- 26:29that we could never save ourselves and we desperately
- 26:34need the Lord Jesus Christ. And even those who died before
- 26:41the law was given, you can see that they still have to come
- 26:45through the Lord Jesus Christ. You see that in scriptures that
- 26:50no one comes unto the Father except through Him.
- 26:55He is the Way, He is the truth, and He is the life, and
- 26:59everything hangs in the balance of Jesus and the blood of Jesus,
- 27:05and we need to know that it is only by Jesus that we're going
- 27:10to make it there. 16 Therefore it is a faith that it might be
- 27:18by grace to the end. The promise might be sure to all
- 27:24the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also
- 27:29which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us
- 27:34all. So you can see, friends, that we
- 27:36must increase our faith, and we cannot rely on the works to get
- 27:41us there. 17 As it is written, I have made you a father of many
- 27:45nations before him who believed even God, who quickens the dead,
- 27:51and calls those things which be not as though they were.
- 27:54That is faith in a nutshell. Verse 7 teen highlight it
- 27:58underline it. What is faith?
- 28:00What pleases God? You need to know that God can
- 28:04raise the dead. God can call a valley of dry
- 28:08bones back to life. He called you and me the
- 28:11Lazaruses who were dead in the tomb and stunk friends.
- 28:15He said rollback the stone and he said, Lazarus come forth, and
- 28:20you and I came out in our grave clothes and he took them all
- 28:25friends. And we can see here that we were
- 28:28dead and he called us back to life.
- 28:32And we have to believe the things that are not yet all the
- 28:36promises that God has promised us to us throughout His entire
- 28:40Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.
- 28:43If they have not happened yet, we need to believe them as if
- 28:47they already have been, because they are that sure.
- 28:50And it is that faith that pleases Him.
- 28:53Friends 18 who hope against hope, believed in hope that he
- 29:01might become the father of many nations, according to that which
- 29:05was spoken, so shall your seed be.
- 29:08That is why Abraham was the father of faith, friends,
- 29:12because he hoped without hope. Sarah was barren, Sarah was
- 29:18elderly. There was no good reason for
- 29:25Abraham to believe that God could actually do what he said
- 29:30he was going to do. Abraham had no child at the
- 29:34time. And God said you will be a
- 29:39father of the nations and that he was going to give it to him
- 29:44as an inheritance, and he would have more descendants than the
- 29:48stars in the sky, than the grains of sand in the seashore.
- 29:52Think about it, friends. You and I are here today and we
- 29:57know the only one true living God because Abraham increased
- 30:05his faith over his own circumstances that were railing
- 30:10against him. The common sense saying that he
- 30:14should not believe what God had promised him, but he refused to
- 30:19go off in that carnal way of thinking and because of his
- 30:23obedience to the faith. You and I are blessed for all of
- 30:28eternity. Praise God, Hallelujah, we love
- 30:31you King Jesus. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not
- 30:38his own body now dead when he was about 100 years old, neither
- 30:42yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. 20 He staggered not at the
- 30:48promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving
- 30:53glory to God. That is our call, friends.
- 30:57Increase your faith today. Give glory to God, and call the
- 31:01things that are not yet as if they already are.
- 31:05Step into that reality. Push down on your senses, push
- 31:10down on the things that are trying to rob you of this faith,
- 31:17and give God his glory. 21 being fully persuaded that what he had
- 31:25promised, he was able also to perform.
- 31:28Do you believe that? Are you rooted and steeped and
- 31:31grounded in the word of God? And when you come across a
- 31:35promise, do you highlight it, underline it, mark it, believe
- 31:40it as if it's yours? Take it, friends.
- 31:43This is not a book of rules. This is a book of promises.
- 31:48Never forget that. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him
- 31:55for righteousness. So God made a deposit into his
- 32:00account of the righteousness. Even though Abraham was a
- 32:07Sinner, it was the faith that of Abraham that pleased God to
- 32:13impute to him this righteousness. 24 But for us
- 32:19also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him
- 32:26that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, the same power
- 32:31that raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in you and lives
- 32:35in me, friends. If you are a blood bot born
- 32:38again believer, you're going to bust heaven wide open, friends.
- 32:43And He gave you the Holy Spirit as a down payment, friends, as a
- 32:47security deposit of what is to come.
- 32:50And we can start to bring heaven down to earth today.
- 32:54We can start to perform His will today, just as it is there in
- 32:58heaven. We can start to see like Elijah.
- 33:01We can start to see all the Chariots of fire and all the
- 33:05angels in camping and surrounding us.
- 33:08By faith, we know that they're fighting our battles.
- 33:11By faith we know that we are His and marked by His goodness and
- 33:15grace, and we can experience His Holiness and glory here on this
- 33:21earth. Friends, and it is only a taste.
- 33:23It is only a taste of what is to come.
- 33:26We have tasted and seen that He is good and we are yearning and
- 33:30we are lovesick for a home that we have not yet gone to, and we
- 33:34are just pilgrims passing through the strange land.
- 33:38Friends and I pray that you understand all of these amazing
- 33:42spiritual principles and that it is not.
- 33:45You're not getting robbed of it by trying to rely on your own
- 33:50abilities, your 4O1K, your retirement.
- 33:53You're not relying on the government, you're not relying
- 33:56on programs. You're not relying on any single
- 34:01entity other than God and God Almighty for your daily bread.
- 34:06I pray that over you today, friends. 25 who was delivered
- 34:15for our offenses and was raised again for our justification.
- 34:24Friends, Jesus Christ suffered a horrible criminal's death, was
- 34:29spat on, his beard plucked out, the crown of thorns pressed
- 34:35against his head. In Isaiah we see someone who
- 34:39does not even resemble a man. He was so mangled, friends, and
- 34:45he suffered that way. The Son of God came and suffered
- 34:49that way, and then proved to the whole world, proved to every
- 34:54single person who had ever been born, was born, or will be born,
- 34:59that he is the Son of God. And He has all power to lay down
- 35:03his life and to take it up again.
- 35:06And if you and I will come to him by faith, and if you and I
- 35:09will believe him even though we can't see him, and we will be
- 35:13blessed eternally, and He will give us the Holy Spirit, we will
- 35:17be indwelled with the Holy Spirit.
- 35:19We will be filled with the Holy Spirit.
- 35:21And when we die as a seed and get pushed down into the ground,
- 35:25we will be raised from the dead, just like He was.
- 35:30And there, wherever He is, we will be with Him also.
- 35:34Friends, it is just if I'd never committed that sin ever, we're
- 35:39going to stand before Almighty God.
- 35:43He's going to gird up our loins and help us to stand in His
- 35:46presence, praise God. Hallelujah.
- 35:50I pray that you have this justification.
- 35:53I pray that you have His righteousness and you are
- 35:56clothed in it, friends, and you are bathed in the blood of Jesus
- 36:00Christ. Every entity of you, friends,
- 36:03don't just get dunked in water. Don't just pray the little
- 36:06Jingle friends, but you need to know that you know that you know
- 36:10that you know if you were to die today where you would spend
- 36:13eternity. And you can have that assurance
- 36:20today by placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, believing
- 36:30that He is enough, believing that he died on the cross for
- 36:37your sins, that he was crucified, buried, resurrected,
- 36:48raised to life by God, and he's seated at the right hand of God.
- 36:56He has gone on to prepare a place for us.
- 37:02I pray that you've been blessed by this amazing chapter here in
- 37:06God's Word. I know I sure have.
- 37:13I'm praying for you. I love you, so does God.
- 37:28We'll see you back here tomorrow.
- 37:30God bless you.
