- 3:22Speaker 1: some of the most bigfoot UFO paranormal books out there.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Let's get to our show today, shall we. Okay, because
- 3:32Speaker 1: on this episode we've got John here, We're going to
- 3:34Speaker 1: be talking about Lala Choose, the witch owl of Mexican
- 3:39Speaker 1: and Southwestern folklore, and the Ishkatini, the horned owl of
- 3:44Speaker 1: Native American legends believe to prowl around at night, stalking
- 3:49Speaker 1: and unaliving men and animals. The Ishkatini is actually believed
- 3:54Speaker 1: to be a skinwalker. So we're going to be talking
- 3:58Speaker 1: about different accounts and encounters with owls in the woods.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I have had several of personal encounters with owls in
- 4:06Speaker 1: the woods that just did not seem right, They did
- 4:09Speaker 1: not fit. You know, some people think that owls could
- 4:13Speaker 1: be aliens as well too, like screen memory. So we're
- 4:17Speaker 1: gonna get into that today. And I have a really
- 4:19Speaker 1: interesting picture that we're gonna look at today. Taken is
- 4:24Speaker 1: a still shot out of a video from a woman
- 4:27Speaker 1: who was camping in the deep woods and her noises
- 4:30Speaker 1: outside her tent. Scanned the area with her phone, forgot
- 4:34Speaker 1: about it. Looked at the video the next morning, and
- 4:37Speaker 1: there seemed to be a strange creature in the tree
- 4:40Speaker 1: right beside her tent. It's unnerving, it is terrifying, and
- 4:46Speaker 1: we're gonna go get into that today as well, So
- 4:50Speaker 1: y'all get ready. John ven Deventer is originally from Plano, Texas.
- 4:54Speaker 1: He's a sixteen year veteran of the United States Air
- 4:57Speaker 1: Force with the lifelong love of military av history and
- 5:00Speaker 1: his interest in UFO's has always made him an avid reader.
- 5:04Speaker 1: He's the author of the Relics series, first published back
- 5:07Speaker 1: in twenty seventeen. He's also the author of the Shadow
- 5:11Speaker 1: Chasers series and most recently, the Nepaul series. And John
- 5:16Speaker 1: was just my very first guest slash co host here
- 5:20Speaker 1: on my Monday show, and he's back today. He has
- 5:23Speaker 1: a book titled Shadow Chasers Curse of the Ishkatini and
- 5:29Speaker 1: I have, Oh my gosh, this is the best little book.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It's a youth book. My son enjoys it. I love it,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and so I thought, who better to bring on today
- 5:39Speaker 1: than talk about these awl witches and the Ishkatini than
- 5:43Speaker 1: my good friend John Benivicer. You guys please help me.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Welcome to the show today, John.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Hey, good at Jane. Glad to be back.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Hey, thank you for being here. Oh my gosh, it's
- 5:55Speaker 1: so great to see you John. Now, I did elude
- 6:00Speaker 1: in the beginning that I had had a strange encounter
- 6:02Speaker 1: with an owl this morning. I was driving bent my
- 6:06Speaker 1: son to school, and as we turned onto the highway, uh,
- 6:11Speaker 1: right before we turned onto the highway, actually, as we
- 6:13Speaker 1: were about to turn, this gigantic bird swooped across the
- 6:17Speaker 1: road and it landed in the tree next to our truck.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And I looked, and at first I thought it was
- 6:22Speaker 1: a hawk, but it was actually an owl, a gigantic owl.
- 6:26Speaker 1: And I had not seen an owl before on the
- 6:28Speaker 1: way to school like that, and not in a while.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Maybe I have a long time ago. But it was
- 6:32Speaker 1: just odd that the timing of that today. What do
- 6:35Speaker 1: you think about that?
- 6:37Speaker 2: Perfect timing couldn't answer for better timing?
- 6:41Speaker 1: I know, right, It's it's just it's just odd and uh.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And I think he and I were both so shocked
- 6:47Speaker 1: by it because of the subject that we're going to
- 6:50Speaker 1: be talking about on the show today. We didn't really
- 6:52Speaker 1: say a whole lot. The rest of that ride to school,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I was trying to process what just happened.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Well, you know, a.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Couple of months after moved here to ohne Bi, Oklahoma,
- 7:01Speaker 3: from Texas, Monica, my wife had gone to Old pass
- 7:05Speaker 3: Or to visit her mother and I had to work
- 7:08Speaker 3: so I couldn't go.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It was evening she.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Was coming back and I was standing in the car
- 7:15Speaker 3: board and it was raining really heavy, and I was
- 7:18Speaker 3: shining the light at the property across the road that
- 7:21Speaker 3: we owned, and I got some I got some eye
- 7:24Speaker 3: shine and it was way up off the ground, so
- 7:26Speaker 3: I'm naturally, I'm thinking Bigfoot. And I kept shining the
- 7:29Speaker 3: light back and it never came back, so, you know,
- 7:33Speaker 3: it was pouring down. I put on running jacket and
- 7:36Speaker 3: went across and it.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Was kind of wooded over there.
- 7:40Speaker 3: So I got to the tree and I looked up
- 7:43Speaker 3: and it was dagam All sitting in the tree, and
- 7:45Speaker 3: every thing screeched when I shine the light on it.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So I'm running and my dog Opie's.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Running and he's out running, so I grabbed him by
- 7:53Speaker 3: the tail and a jerking bottom. So I got get
- 7:56Speaker 3: in front of him and we come spilling out onto
- 7:59Speaker 3: the road. Ride in his mind like it returning home,
- 8:02Speaker 3: and sees and rollers down the window and looks at
- 8:04Speaker 3: me and go, and how do you guys do when I'm.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Out of here?
- 8:11Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you grab grab, Oh my gosh. That's hilarious.
- 8:18Speaker 1: That's hilarious. But it's also a little scary. I mean,
- 8:20Speaker 1: owls can be quite scary at times.
- 8:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 8:24Speaker 1: When I was a kid, my father had found an
- 8:28Speaker 1: owl that had fallen. I think it fell off a
- 8:30Speaker 1: power line or something happened to it, so it was deceased.
- 8:33Speaker 1: And so he found it, and he thought it was
- 8:34Speaker 1: so beautiful. He had it taxiderms and uh and this
- 8:38Speaker 1: owl was actually taxidermed and put in my bedroom when
- 8:41Speaker 1: I was a kid. Okay, so, and I chose to
- 8:44Speaker 1: have it in my room. It's not like they force
- 8:46Speaker 1: it in there. I chose. We had taxiderm animals all
- 8:49Speaker 1: over our house when I was little. But this this
- 8:53Speaker 1: owl had its wings spread and it had a look
- 8:55Speaker 1: on its face like it was going to attack. And
- 8:57Speaker 1: and I would wake up at night, especially it was
- 9:00Speaker 1: thundering and lightning outside, and I lived out in the
- 9:02Speaker 1: country in the middle of nowhere. When the lightning was shrike,
- 9:06Speaker 1: that owl would light up in my room and it
- 9:08Speaker 1: was really creepy.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Oh.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Yes, So I've always had a fascination with owls, but
- 9:15Speaker 1: more recently I've had several accounts of owls or encounters
- 9:20Speaker 1: with owls that were just very out of place and
- 9:24Speaker 1: very extraordinary, I guess you could say. And one of
- 9:27Speaker 1: them involved being up where I do field research up
- 9:30Speaker 1: in North Georgia. I was up there with a couple
- 9:32Speaker 1: of friends and we had had a really intense encounter
- 9:35Speaker 1: with some potential bigfoots that had surrounded us and growled
- 9:39Speaker 1: and huffed at us out in the field, And right
- 9:42Speaker 1: as we were getting into the vehicle, do you know,
- 9:45Speaker 1: one of the people that was with us got pretty
- 9:46Speaker 1: scared quick and I was on the verge of like,
- 9:51Speaker 1: maybe we should get out of here, because these people
- 9:53Speaker 1: are not super familiar with this place and I am,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and maybe we should just get out to be safe
- 9:59Speaker 1: and not sudden it just started thundering and raining out
- 10:02Speaker 1: of nowhere, and so we got in the car and
- 10:04Speaker 1: we left, and as we were pulling out of that road,
- 10:06Speaker 1: and a white owl dove in front of the car,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and it was like slow emotion, looked at all three
- 10:13Speaker 1: of us, and I screamed. I literally screamed because this
- 10:17Speaker 1: owl was so out of place, it didn't make sense.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And the way that it it glided sideways past the
- 10:23Speaker 1: car and it was it look like we were going
- 10:25Speaker 1: to hit it. That's why I screamed. And it looked
- 10:27Speaker 1: it literally looked at us. It was like looking at
- 10:30Speaker 1: our souls, all three of us.
- 10:34Speaker 3: That way, when you look at them in the eye.
- 10:36Speaker 3: They got the weirdest eye, you know, whether it's daytime
- 10:40Speaker 3: or nighttime with flashlight.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It was. It was just odd. And uh, I don't
- 10:46Speaker 1: think a lot of us really talked a whole lot
- 10:48Speaker 1: that ride back, either, because it was just so weird.
- 10:52Speaker 1: So I don't know. You hear you hear about people
- 10:56Speaker 1: seeing owls out in the woods. Sometimes I tend to
- 10:59Speaker 1: think that it could be a scream memory from an
- 11:03Speaker 1: ET encounter.
- 11:04Speaker 3: What do you think, Well, you know, I didn't realize
- 11:07Speaker 3: there was so much paranormal association with owls, you know,
- 11:13Speaker 3: I would. I always assumed it would have been a
- 11:15Speaker 3: bat or something like that until I saw the movie
- 11:18Speaker 3: The Fourth kind.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Have you seen that movie?
- 11:21Speaker 1: I love that movie that's supposed to be based on
- 11:24Speaker 1: story like.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Ex or just meets Et.
- 11:27Speaker 3: It's the only alien movie that gave me the creeps,
- 11:31Speaker 3: you know, And I started looking into it more after
- 11:36Speaker 3: I saw that movie because of the association with owls
- 11:40Speaker 3: in the alien faces. And yeah, it's pretty interesting, all
- 11:44Speaker 3: the all the paranormal.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Beliefs about owls.
- 11:48Speaker 3: And before I go any further, I want to tell
- 11:50Speaker 3: my own flight chief, John Taker, thank you. I'm having
- 11:54Speaker 3: to use my phone, so I saw your instant messenger,
- 11:57Speaker 3: but I didn't see it on the screen, but John,
- 12:00Speaker 3: thanks for being here.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Sorry, I do that, Hey John, Hey John.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I know we get a lot of comments in the
- 12:07Speaker 1: chat and I can't keep up with them a lot
- 12:09Speaker 1: of times, but they move really quickly. But we'll pull
- 12:11Speaker 1: it up as soon as I get a chance. We're
- 12:12Speaker 1: gonna pull up.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Came across my instant mess on my phone.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Oh Perfect, what's up? Perfect? I wanted to show some
- 12:21Speaker 1: pictures of some some owls. Okay, I know this. We're
- 12:25Speaker 1: about to get into the witch owls and the Ishkatina
- 12:29Speaker 1: here in a second. But I mean, owls are absolutely beautiful,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know, everybody, just about everybody that I know has
- 12:35Speaker 1: seen an owl. I'm sure maybe not in person, but
- 12:38Speaker 1: you know in pictures. And as a matter of fact,
- 12:41Speaker 1: baby owls can be quite scary looking. Look at those
- 12:44Speaker 1: legs on that thing, John, those are some serious long legs.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Who I know, right, who would ever think that little
- 12:53Speaker 1: baby owls have such long legs. So, but you know
- 12:59Speaker 1: we're about to get into the right now, Okay, look
- 13:01Speaker 1: at look at that Yeah, like it has those digital
- 13:05Speaker 1: green legs kind of like a dog man kind of
- 13:08Speaker 1: and uh, an owl. I mean, that's that's pretty terrifying.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And when you think about shape shifting owls, that's even
- 13:14Speaker 1: more terrifying when people, when humans can shape shift into
- 13:18Speaker 1: an owl, that's odd. Now, I just had a conversation
- 13:22Speaker 1: with Tom Springer on Saturday night. I had my buddy
- 13:25Speaker 1: Tom here. We talked about the Chyenne dog soldiers potentially
- 13:31Speaker 1: shape shifting into werewolves, but we got into the skin
- 13:34Speaker 1: walker topic as well. And that's kind of what the
- 13:39Speaker 1: Ishkatini is, right John.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it is like if you go back to Chalk
- 13:45Speaker 3: Towle Lord, the Iatini, it's more of a curse that
- 13:51Speaker 3: you know, like a paranormal owl. It's not an owl,
- 13:54Speaker 3: it's like a spirit owl. And if it's screams at night,
- 13:58Speaker 3: it's for telling you you're gonna die, or someone close
- 14:01Speaker 3: to who's gonna die, or something like that. Now, for
- 14:05Speaker 3: my book Curse of the Ischcatini, I used the Seminole
- 14:09Speaker 3: version of the Ischcatini, which is more of a cryptid
- 14:13Speaker 3: and kind of makes it a little scared and nab
- 14:15Speaker 3: a whole skin walker.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Well, since you read the book, you know so.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Yeah, So the Charktar legend is different from the Seminole legend,
- 14:27Speaker 3: which the Navelo legend is different too, because the skin
- 14:30Speaker 3: marker can basically take on any format wants, I believe.
- 14:36Speaker 3: And here's another interesting thing I found when studying some
- 14:41Speaker 3: of the traditions and legends of the tribals groups in
- 14:47Speaker 3: this area. Is Bigfoot in one area for the Chartar
- 14:53Speaker 3: maybe different than bigfoot in another area because back then,
- 14:58Speaker 3: you know, they didn't have instant messager, they couldn't call
- 15:02Speaker 3: on the bone. Tribes might not talk for months or
- 15:05Speaker 3: years before they run into each other, so they may
- 15:09Speaker 3: have different names, they may have different different incidents or
- 15:16Speaker 3: or experiences with these things, so there's always a little
- 15:21Speaker 3: bit different take, you know, even from even though you're
- 15:26Speaker 3: in the same tribe, but if you're not in the
- 15:27Speaker 3: same area, you can have a different take on the subject.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Well, I find it really cool that you see, you
- 15:36Speaker 1: do a lot of good research for especially for your books,
- 15:39Speaker 1: and you live right in the heart of Bigfoot country
- 15:42Speaker 1: out in Hanobi, Okay, out in Oklahoma. Lots of Bigfoot
- 15:46Speaker 1: activity out there, And gosh, what was it I think
- 15:50Speaker 1: I was reading your book. You're talking about the siege.
- 15:53Speaker 1: It's like a siege. It's like a cryptid siege or
- 15:56Speaker 1: some kind of takeover of the areas, kind of like
- 15:59Speaker 1: how the book goes with with the kids. Okay, there
- 16:03Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna give the whole I'm not a
- 16:04Speaker 1: good book away, don't worry. Okay, but there is. They're
- 16:09Speaker 1: they're shadow Chasers, right, They're out there to kind of
- 16:11Speaker 1: do well.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the kids named the club the shadow Chasers
- 16:16Speaker 3: after the first book where they encounter the Sasquatch. They
- 16:20Speaker 3: kind of formed the club to cool, so yeah, it's
- 16:28Speaker 3: kind of their club name. And then like the first
- 16:31Speaker 3: book they encounter when they formed the club, they've encountered
- 16:34Speaker 3: a bigfoot.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Second book is Alien's third book is Ishkatini. The fourth
- 16:40Speaker 2: book supposedly gonna be Tommy Knockers.
- 16:44Speaker 3: They haven't got to it yet, you know, twenty twenty four.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I haven't got one book at yet out yet.
- 16:50Speaker 3: It's been a it's been a battle all year with
- 16:53Speaker 3: health issues and things like that. But yeah, so it's
- 16:57Speaker 3: it's really a club name. And yeah they mentioned that, well,
- 17:01Speaker 3: have you heard of the siege of oh Nubby?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Well, I was actually making that that. I was gonna
- 17:06Speaker 1: make that reference because out in Oklahoma there's a siege
- 17:09Speaker 1: of Hanubi. I actually did a remote viewing target of that,
- 17:11Speaker 1: and I have not done a show on that yet,
- 17:14Speaker 1: but I have remote viewed that and it's really fascinating. Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Yeah, my house is about two and a half miles
- 17:21Speaker 3: from that house. No, right, yeah, it's a crow line.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I know that.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well, there's not many houses out here.
- 17:31Speaker 1: That could be like an hour away then, huh. I'm
- 17:33Speaker 1: just kidding. Well, you'll have to come on the show
- 17:36Speaker 1: with me when I do that target one night on
- 17:38Speaker 1: a Thursday, and we'll talk about the siege of Hunubi
- 17:41Speaker 1: because that's a it's a pretty well known case where
- 17:44Speaker 1: a family was actually.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Actually my first book relics.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I loosely based it on the Siege of Hunnubi because
- 17:52Speaker 3: it is fiction, so it's a lot more violent and
- 17:55Speaker 3: a lot more there's a lot more stuff going on.
- 17:57Speaker 3: And I moved it twenty four more Callahena, But it
- 18:02Speaker 3: was kind of loosely based on that. It's it's where
- 18:04Speaker 3: I got my ideas from, I should say. And I
- 18:07Speaker 3: actually friends on Facebook one of the brothers. He lives
- 18:11Speaker 3: in Tallahena and Michael.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Fascinating.
- 18:17Speaker 3: His aunt was a realtor that sold me this house.
- 18:20Speaker 3: So everything stays pretty close out of here.
- 18:23Speaker 1: It does. Oh my gosh, Well, you've got your roots
- 18:26Speaker 1: down over there, and uh and there's a lot of
- 18:29Speaker 1: Native American lore. There a lot of history there on
- 18:32Speaker 1: the land. You know. It wasn't too long ago, about
- 18:35Speaker 1: a year ago, I was doing that investigation out in
- 18:37Speaker 1: Tennessee of the Skinwalker Cave. Okay, So I've got a
- 18:42Speaker 1: little bit of experience with with with these things. I
- 18:46Speaker 1: guess you could say things, but you you're right there
- 18:50Speaker 1: in the heart of Bigfoot Country. A lot of like
- 18:54Speaker 1: I said, Native American legends and lore and potentially Ishkatini's Okay, Now,
- 19:00Speaker 1: is that something that people talk about around there. I mean,
- 19:02Speaker 1: is it it's popular.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I'm in I'm in the chark Taw nation and I'm
- 19:10Speaker 3: right in the heart of the chark Tar nation, and
- 19:14Speaker 3: they don't like to talk too much about their that
- 19:18Speaker 3: you like my one go to guy, my neighbor pool
- 19:22Speaker 3: bloke talk tal and got the rest of soulis coming
- 19:26Speaker 3: down the mountain back in May and uh breaks went
- 19:29Speaker 3: out on his truck and he crashed into a tree
- 19:31Speaker 3: about five hundred feet from my house coming back to
- 19:34Speaker 3: Talloheno and didn't make it. So he was kind of
- 19:38Speaker 3: my praying to the chark Tar and I lost him.
- 19:41Speaker 2: But they're pretty tight. But now the don't talk about Bigfoot.
- 19:47Speaker 2: But like dog men, forget it. You bring that up
- 19:52Speaker 2: and they won't talk to you. It's it's they just
- 19:56Speaker 2: they stopped right there.
- 19:57Speaker 3: They don't want I think they believe by speak it,
- 20:00Speaker 3: thinking of it, you know, it brings it to you.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And I never really got a chance to talk to
- 20:05Speaker 3: any about the Iscatini.
- 20:07Speaker 2: So and like like I say, Dell was He's the
- 20:13Speaker 2: only talk.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Talk man I knew, you know that I could talk
- 20:19Speaker 4: to about things like that. Most they really want to
- 20:22Speaker 4: talk to Texas White Boy about.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, I feel you. Okay, Well, I'm looking at
- 20:33Speaker 1: the comments over here in the chat and there are
- 20:35Speaker 1: a lot of fun facts about owls over here that
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm noticing. I know, I'm like super behind on the chat,
- 20:41Speaker 1: but this is interesting because Mood at Noon says owls
- 20:43Speaker 1: are silent flyers, not typical for birds. That is so true.
- 20:47Speaker 1: And there have been times where we were doing field
- 20:49Speaker 1: investigations at old cemeteries out in the woods and I
- 20:53Speaker 1: have pictures of what looked like potential ghosts like orbs
- 20:58Speaker 1: or something that are out there, And once you actually
- 21:00Speaker 1: really examined the pictures, there's one where I thought that
- 21:04Speaker 1: I had some sort of an orber, like what do
- 21:05Speaker 1: you call those rods? It turns out it was just
- 21:08Speaker 1: a wide owl. It was an owl that had swooped
- 21:11Speaker 1: down over the guys that were out in front of me,
- 21:14Speaker 1: but we never heard it. And also, owls do sleep
- 21:18Speaker 1: on their faces, which is really weird. Okay. They sleep
- 21:21Speaker 1: like they're just calmed out, face down, which is really
- 21:26Speaker 1: really interesting. And I love the sound of owls, okay,
- 21:31Speaker 1: because I love the sound I hear them outside my
- 21:33Speaker 1: window at night. We have ols every place I've ever lived,
- 21:37Speaker 1: we've had owls outside in the trees hooting at night.
- 21:40Speaker 1: So and I've also been chased by owls. I've been
- 21:44Speaker 1: chased by an owl. Of well, I hooted back at them. Okay,
- 21:49Speaker 1: so you have to be careful if you hoot it
- 21:50Speaker 1: an owl and they're making their hoots and you hoop back.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I was walking my dog one night and I hooted back,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and I tried to emulate what it sounded like, and
- 21:59Speaker 1: all of a sudden, sounded like a rabid monkey, and
- 22:02Speaker 1: it followed me. I took off running because I was scared.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Well, they get it when you walk up stream and
- 22:08Speaker 3: put a spotlight on me and hoping I've found that out.
- 22:13Speaker 3: And it was so funny because when that where they
- 22:16Speaker 3: started flapping his wings and making noise, the dog took
- 22:19Speaker 3: off quicker and I, you know, and I thought, he's
- 22:23Speaker 3: gonna get anybody.
- 22:24Speaker 2: He's gonna get used and a jerky buddy. He's still
- 22:26Speaker 2: outran mey the rood.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Yes, Well, I mean I've had I've
- 22:32Speaker 1: had plenty of encounters with als. A matter of fact,
- 22:35Speaker 1: even my cousin Jesse, who is an artist. He makes
- 22:37Speaker 1: bigfoot art. Uh. He made that big Uh. People who
- 22:41Speaker 1: have gone to the Bigfoot Museum in Georgia expedition Bigfoot.
- 22:45Speaker 1: He made the gigantic Bigfoot out of muscadon vines that
- 22:48Speaker 1: sits in front of that museum, is right. Yes, Well,
- 22:51Speaker 1: when when Jesse was a kid, when he was really young,
- 22:55Speaker 1: he and his mom were driving home one night, late
- 22:57Speaker 1: at night. They lived out in the country, and he's
- 23:00Speaker 1: always been inspired to make paranormal type art with cryptids
- 23:04Speaker 1: and aliens. We have a we have a history of
- 23:07Speaker 1: alien abductions UFO stuff. I'm not going to say abductions,
- 23:12Speaker 1: but I mean I think it was abductions. Okay, but
- 23:15Speaker 1: with our great grandparents on the he and I shared
- 23:18Speaker 1: the same great grandmother and great aunt who had the
- 23:21Speaker 1: light that had that came down over the car one
- 23:23Speaker 1: night and they had missing time.
- 23:25Speaker 3: And if they had miss time, yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yes, well they they attributed that to angels moving them
- 23:32Speaker 1: out of harm's way. So they never put the UFO
- 23:35Speaker 1: alien abduction thing, you know, they never made that connection,
- 23:39Speaker 1: but Jesse and I did, and uh, of course, but
- 23:43Speaker 1: he was he and his mom were driving down the
- 23:45Speaker 1: road down their driveway and there were two out white
- 23:48Speaker 1: owls in their tree, one big one and one small one,
- 23:52Speaker 1: like a mama and a baby, and they were huge.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And he's actually it's inspired some of his artwork to
- 23:58Speaker 1: this day seeing that, and they both believe that that
- 24:01Speaker 1: was probably a screen memory.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Really, I hope send me a photo of some of
- 24:07Speaker 3: his work sometimes, if you.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Don't mind, I would like to you.
- 24:10Speaker 3: You know, just south of here, about forty miles there's
- 24:15Speaker 3: a beaver's been near Broken Bow, and almost every place
- 24:19Speaker 3: you go, they've got some kind of big put thing,
- 24:22Speaker 3: you know, and they've made one out of some kind
- 24:25Speaker 3: of buns. Down there was at a restaurant and it
- 24:27Speaker 3: was beautiful and they would have to be about nine
- 24:30Speaker 3: foot tall and just beautiful.
- 24:32Speaker 2: And that restaurant closed. I've always wondered what.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Happened to that that big puts the made with vines.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I mean, I couldn't put it in my house, but
- 24:41Speaker 3: it was a lot of someome piece of artwork somebody did.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, Jesse's actually made several of those, and
- 24:48Speaker 1: he sells them to like actors and you know, yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 1: they are a bunch of different like museums all over
- 24:54Speaker 1: the country and stuff. And their hues are like ten
- 24:56Speaker 1: feet tall with what do you call them? Like sol
- 25:00Speaker 1: the lights and them so their eyes were light up
- 25:01Speaker 1: at night. I can't believe more people have not, like
- 25:03Speaker 1: people have not had Rex seen those things on the
- 25:06Speaker 1: side of the road. Okay, they look real, especially at night.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So but anyways, okay, let's get back to the Ishkatini.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I guess okay, let's let's talk about the Ishcatini a
- 25:18Speaker 1: little bit, or or we could. I guess we could
- 25:21Speaker 1: talk about Leila Choosa too, because I think that they're
- 25:24Speaker 1: kind of similar in a way. They're they're similar, but.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Well, Monica's is fann So I asked for last night,
- 25:33Speaker 3: have you ever heard.
- 25:34Speaker 2: There's Leila Tusa?
- 25:35Speaker 3: And she's like no, I said you sure, and she goes, well,
- 25:39Speaker 3: where is it? I said, well, it's in Mexico. It's
- 25:41Speaker 3: in here and just in there, and she goes, you
- 25:44Speaker 3: do know I'm American, right, And I said I know,
- 25:47Speaker 3: but you know she grew up in ol Paso, so
- 25:50Speaker 3: that's like Mexico.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I mean, you're just op skipping.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I remember going there as a kid when my brother
- 25:56Speaker 3: was going to college at UTAP and I just fell
- 25:59Speaker 3: in love with it, you know, because to me, you know,
- 26:01Speaker 3: I'm like eight years old and there's another country right there.
- 26:04Speaker 3: And now it's not sam ol Paso. I knew with
- 26:08Speaker 3: the kid, but I you know, but she doesn't have
- 26:11Speaker 3: relatives over there. And she said she had never never
- 26:14Speaker 3: heard of it. But that doesn't surprise me either. There
- 26:17Speaker 3: was something else. I'll find it later. I'll talk to
- 26:21Speaker 3: her about it. Some of her dad had encountered when
- 26:24Speaker 3: he was a young man in his teams or whatever.
- 26:27Speaker 2: But I digress. Yes, like I'm saying, iskatini, it's a
- 26:32Speaker 2: little different.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Depending on which tribe from the Gulf Coast tribes, which
- 26:38Speaker 3: is Chalktaw originally, and.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Like their iskatin is a little different from.
- 26:44Speaker 3: The Seminole and the Georgia Georgia area Indians, and then
- 26:50Speaker 3: when you get to the Navajo, it's more of a
- 26:53Speaker 3: skin walker.
- 26:54Speaker 1: So well, nonetheless, right, a little bit creepy. And they
- 27:02Speaker 1: say that if you hear an ish katini. Now, I
- 27:05Speaker 1: wonder if we're not supposed to say that word more
- 27:07Speaker 1: than three times, What do you know anything about that?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Maybe we should be careful.
- 27:12Speaker 2: We said fifty times trying to pronounce.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It, right, I know, right, We're just mispronounced it, and
- 27:17Speaker 1: it doesn't matter at that point, right if you mispronounce
- 27:19Speaker 1: it every time. But they say that if you hear it,
- 27:22Speaker 1: if you hear it screeched or whatever kind of noise
- 27:24Speaker 1: it makes, it's it means sudden death. Okay, you're not
- 27:29Speaker 1: you may not survive it. Now, I don't know how
- 27:30Speaker 1: people would know that, because if you hear it, you're
- 27:33Speaker 1: gonna you're gonna die probably, But that's what they say.
- 27:37Speaker 1: That's how it goes. It says, let's see, if the
- 27:41Speaker 1: screech owl is heard, it's a sign that a child
- 27:45Speaker 1: under seven years old is going to pass away, which
- 27:48Speaker 1: is horrible. That's that's how the legend goes with the
- 27:51Speaker 1: ish Katini. Yeah, so just just be be aware. Now
- 27:57Speaker 1: if the owl has human attributes, I'd be even more alarmed. Yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 1: and that's where we get la la choose Actually, uh,
- 28:07Speaker 1: the ishkatini is something to fear. Lala choose a. That's
- 28:12Speaker 1: actually when a there's there's two different there's two different
- 28:15Speaker 1: types of choose. Now, Lala choose a just means owl.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It means the owl. But in folklore and mythology, and
- 28:25Speaker 1: some people say in real life it's actually in real
- 28:29Speaker 1: life it is the witch owl, okay, the witch owl,
- 28:34Speaker 1: and this is really prominent. Lala Choose is actually quite
- 28:37Speaker 1: prominent in Mexico and in Texas, not too far from
- 28:42Speaker 1: where you lived on and it's probably it's probably all over.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I've heard of La la Choosa, okay, because somebody sent
- 28:54Speaker 1: me a video one night or one day, I don't
- 28:58Speaker 1: know when they sent it. They send it to me
- 28:59Speaker 1: at some point, and it made it gave me chills
- 29:03Speaker 1: down my spine literally when I saw this, because it
- 29:08Speaker 1: was a video of a woman who woke up one
- 29:11Speaker 1: night in her tent she was camping. I believe she
- 29:13Speaker 1: and her husband might have been in the tent together,
- 29:16Speaker 1: and she woke up hearing noises outside, and so she
- 29:22Speaker 1: took her cell phone and turned the video the video on,
- 29:26Speaker 1: started videoing, and stuck her hand outside. She ended up
- 29:29Speaker 1: the tent and kind of ran her camera along the environment,
- 29:33Speaker 1: like around the perimeter of where they were camping, and
- 29:36Speaker 1: then she just turned her tone off and put it
- 29:38Speaker 1: down and said, I'll check that in the morning. And
- 29:43Speaker 1: I guess it's a good thing that she did. I
- 29:44Speaker 1: don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing,
- 29:47Speaker 1: because the next morning, when she woke up. She was
- 29:50Speaker 1: freaked out, and I'm going to show you why she
- 29:52Speaker 1: was freaked out. And I think you and I have
- 29:54Speaker 1: talked about this before briefly. I think John, when we
- 29:58Speaker 1: were on Space I had you on Space outrating and
- 30:00Speaker 1: I mentioned this a while back. But we're going to
- 30:03Speaker 1: talk about it here on my channel today. And I'm
- 30:04Speaker 1: going to show this picture to the audience because I
- 30:07Speaker 1: did post this a while back on my Instagram, and
- 30:11Speaker 1: I think squatch Watch or somebody picked it up and
- 30:14Speaker 1: put it out and it got thousands and thousands of views, okay,
- 30:17Speaker 1: And and I'm going to show you why because we
- 30:21Speaker 1: couldn't tell. You can't tell. I, like I say, I
- 30:23Speaker 1: don't know if this is a naked man, and and
- 30:27Speaker 1: you can't see anything, okay, so it's not like vulgar
- 30:30Speaker 1: if this is a human or an owl or what. Okay,
- 30:33Speaker 1: brace yourselves. This was what was in her video and
- 30:37Speaker 1: this he's crouched something's crouched in that tree rad there.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, Yeah, that's a that's a weird video.
- 30:50Speaker 1: This is still still shot from her video on her
- 30:54Speaker 1: on her cell phone. And this was at a campground
- 30:58Speaker 1: and I can't remember exactly where taking I can't find
- 31:00Speaker 1: the video, but I still have the screenshots from it
- 31:03Speaker 1: because I actually took a bunch of screenshots as I
- 31:07Speaker 1: was watching that video. Now I had to I had
- 31:11Speaker 1: started digging into what this could be. Right, this is
- 31:14Speaker 1: something that I I mean, this is something someone sent me.
- 31:16Speaker 1: This is not a remote viewing target. This is nothing
- 31:18Speaker 1: that I had remote viewed. This was just something that
- 31:21Speaker 1: I was sent. Screenshot at it and then went down
- 31:24Speaker 1: the rabbit hole of trying to figure out what that
- 31:26Speaker 1: picture could have been, Like, what, what is that? Is
- 31:28Speaker 1: it anything? Well, if you look at it, John, you
- 31:30Speaker 1: can see it has.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Eyeshine, right, Yes, you can't say yeah, shame.
- 31:36Speaker 1: But it also looks as though it has arms and
- 31:39Speaker 1: feet maybe. I mean it looks like it looks like
- 31:43Speaker 1: a man to me honestly. Yeah, But John, when you look.
- 31:49Speaker 2: At it, make it man. And you know what, maybe
- 31:52Speaker 2: taking the picture saved there, you know.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Maybe? I mean I could also been an s walker,
- 31:59Speaker 1: if you know what I mean, a skin walker maybe.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But if it was that, it would have attacked her.
- 32:07Speaker 2: When you said ass walker, I was like, Okay, we're
- 32:09Speaker 2: not allowed to say skinned.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I know, I just I don't want to say it to.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Me the more rules every week.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, yeah, that's it. I know that. The picture.
- 32:25Speaker 1: To me, it is just really creepy, okay. And I
- 32:28Speaker 1: always tell the audience you know, I actually am not scared,
- 32:32Speaker 1: and I don't get scared easily, Okay, I am. I
- 32:36Speaker 1: don't live in fear, especially when I'm out in the woods.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I try it to have any fear, because you got
- 32:40Speaker 1: to keep your head straight when you're out there. But
- 32:42Speaker 1: it's the humans. It's the humans, John that worry me
- 32:47Speaker 1: a little bit. And if that's a human.
- 32:51Speaker 2: In the wild hogs, isn't it the humans and the
- 32:53Speaker 2: wild hogs?
- 32:54Speaker 1: Yes, the wild hogs. That's right. Then there's a hog
- 32:58Speaker 1: Zilla's out there. We have to worry about those two.
- 33:02Speaker 1: But but to wake up at night and hear that
- 33:05Speaker 1: noise out your outside your tent and that be out
- 33:07Speaker 1: there right, I don't know. It might have been better
- 33:10Speaker 1: if she had woken or checked her video, woken up
- 33:14Speaker 1: her companion and gotten locked and loaded, if you know
- 33:19Speaker 1: what I mean. Because that that was thus creepy, okay,
- 33:23Speaker 1: super creepy. But it led me to learn about La
- 33:27Speaker 1: La Choosa, Okay, because I believe that someone suggested that
- 33:32Speaker 1: when we were talking about what that could be, and
- 33:36Speaker 1: someone suggested the outwitch, the La la choosa. Now there's
- 33:40Speaker 1: actually another video a target that I was given in
- 33:43Speaker 1: remote viewing, which was an unspecified animal that was on
- 33:48Speaker 1: a game camera and it looked like a dog with
- 33:50Speaker 1: a human face. Really yes, and local said.
- 33:54Speaker 3: That, uh yeah, the it's Katini the talk do all verb,
- 34:02Speaker 3: not the talk do all version, but the seminole vision.
- 34:07Speaker 3: It would it would eat the heart of its victims
- 34:12Speaker 3: and as long as it had that heart, anxiety make
- 34:15Speaker 3: it take the appearance of its victim, so walk around
- 34:18Speaker 3: looking like somebody killed. And he could keep that until
- 34:23Speaker 3: it went back to wherever they had drugged the victim's body,
- 34:25Speaker 3: puped the heart out, then it could.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Go back to his normal. Yeah, that's pretty griss.
- 34:30Speaker 1: But you know, oh my gosh, well you know what
- 34:34Speaker 1: that actually coincides with what Tom told us on Saturday
- 34:38Speaker 1: night when it comes to the s Walkers. You know,
- 34:41Speaker 1: he's actually a he's been in the military most of
- 34:44Speaker 1: his adult life. He has an interesting job. I'm not
- 34:48Speaker 1: going to get into details, but he I don't know
- 34:50Speaker 1: if he still gets called in or not, but he
- 34:53Speaker 1: has spent a lot of time in combat, let's just say,
- 34:56Speaker 1: in the military, and we were talking about berserkers, and
- 35:01Speaker 1: he said, actually, you know, he's been in he's had
- 35:03Speaker 1: to go into hand to hand combat before where he
- 35:06Speaker 1: blacked out and doesn't remember a lot. But you know,
- 35:10Speaker 1: sometimes you have to do that in order for your
- 35:13Speaker 1: to stay sane. Okay, when you get into a rage,
- 35:17Speaker 1: when you're defending your life and things. Okay, Well, in
- 35:21Speaker 1: some of these instances, you know, when he's with his unit, uh,
- 35:25Speaker 1: he said that they were on a mission, let's just say,
- 35:29Speaker 1: and they were walking through I think he was in
- 35:31Speaker 1: the Middle East. I'm not sure, but he said, they're
- 35:34Speaker 1: walking and they start hearing cries for help, they heard
- 35:39Speaker 1: babies crying. Okay. All the while he said, no, no, no,
- 35:44Speaker 1: you do not. He said that he told his guys,
- 35:47Speaker 1: we do not stop, do not go off the trail,
- 35:51Speaker 1: do not find out what that is. It's it's mimics,
- 35:53Speaker 1: it's voices, s walker. Okay, it's something supernatural, and it
- 36:00Speaker 1: it's gonna eat us. Okay, it will eat you. But
- 36:03Speaker 1: he encountered, he literally encountered that while in combat overseas somewhere,
- 36:09Speaker 1: and he got into the details of how before you
- 36:15Speaker 1: know the s Walkers. They can take your hair, they
- 36:19Speaker 1: can take your hair, they can take your fingernails, and
- 36:23Speaker 1: through magical practices, can become you. Okay, and by becoming you,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I mean you're doppelganger, John Doppelginger to look at it,
- 36:32Speaker 1: sound exactly like you.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Yes, I think if I had a doppel ganger, it
- 36:38Speaker 3: would be the worst thing you'd happen to people, two
- 36:42Speaker 3: of them.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I think it'd be kind of cool. Yeah, I think.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think it'd be cool. It'd be horrible, right,
- 36:50Speaker 1: But I think it'd be I've talked about doppelgangers quite
- 36:53Speaker 1: a bit. I've actually heard my own voice before out
- 36:56Speaker 1: in the Woods, which was weird, very weird, and it's
- 37:01Speaker 1: so it's so it's so weird that it took me
- 37:05Speaker 1: weeks to realize that was my own voice.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, you know, you never sound like you think
- 37:12Speaker 2: you do, Like, oh my gosh.
- 37:14Speaker 3: I'll watch this later and I'll hear my voice go
- 37:16Speaker 3: oh my god, and just turn it up. I'll get
- 37:18Speaker 3: about five minutes and my own boys say, Okay, I
- 37:21Speaker 3: like to stand.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I'm the same way John. Actually, when I was a kid,
- 37:26Speaker 1: I had on those Fisher Price tape recorders, and it
- 37:29Speaker 1: had a microphone. And I used to narrate anything that
- 37:32Speaker 1: happened in my house and I put it on tape
- 37:34Speaker 1: and I would it was like a team I guess so.
- 37:41Speaker 1: But I would listen back and it sounded so country.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I had the most country twang. Imagine that and uh.
- 37:48Speaker 1: And so I was embarrassed. I was like, that can't
- 37:51Speaker 1: be my voice, because in my head I didn't sound
- 37:53Speaker 1: like that. But on tape. I was interviewed on a
- 37:57Speaker 1: radio stationed by my uncle about a tornado that came
- 38:00Speaker 1: through the area, and I got made fun of because
- 38:02Speaker 1: I sounded so country. I was only eight, but I
- 38:06Speaker 1: spent my entire life trying not to sound like that
- 38:09Speaker 1: kid that didn't like my country voice. Okay, so now
- 38:12Speaker 1: I'm okay with my country voice. It's fine. But we
- 38:15Speaker 1: don't sound the same that we think we do. No,
- 38:17Speaker 1: we don't go back and hear us recorded. Yeah, but
- 38:22Speaker 1: I yeah, I feel you on that. But it is
- 38:24Speaker 1: it is odd. It's it's very I use the word
- 38:27Speaker 1: jarring a lot because it's jarring. It's like it it
- 38:31Speaker 1: doesn't make sense in your mind that I could even
- 38:34Speaker 1: be your voice.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, that's your voice coming back. Can I ask
- 38:38Speaker 3: you a quick question about the woods and we'll get back.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Have you ever run across a set of stares in
- 38:44Speaker 3: the woods?
- 38:45Speaker 1: Oh, somebody just asked that in the chat the other day. No,
- 38:49Speaker 1: I have never. I've never come across anything like that.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Well that's a thing too. I guess you're not supposed
- 38:55Speaker 3: to get on them. But yeah, I've seen pictures in
- 38:58Speaker 3: this perfectly good set of just out in the middle
- 39:01Speaker 3: of the woods, and it's a thing. I mean, it
- 39:06Speaker 3: goes up on all over the place.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I haven't done. No, if I ever come
- 39:12Speaker 1: across the set of stairs in the woods, I'll let
- 39:14Speaker 1: you know, though I promise i'll take pictures. I'm not
- 39:17Speaker 1: going to walk up them, though I've been told don't
- 39:19Speaker 1: walk up the stairs.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I wouldn't either, you know, just may tip over if
- 39:25Speaker 2: nothing else that's right. Oh my gosh, this.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Does does it kill people? Or does it just like
- 39:34Speaker 3: a curbs kind of thing?
- 39:36Speaker 1: Or it does it does that? They will eat you. Actually,
- 39:41Speaker 1: they lure people off the trail, just like what Tom
- 39:44Speaker 1: was telling us the other day. Now, I want to
- 39:47Speaker 1: show I've got some I found these online. Okay, So
- 39:49Speaker 1: here's a picture of it's actually like a shape shifter.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And this is just kind of an example. So there
- 39:56Speaker 1: are two different types of la la choose us. They're
- 40:00Speaker 1: two different types. Uh, there's one one way to become
- 40:03Speaker 1: one or one, which is let's just say there's a
- 40:09Speaker 1: woman who practiced witchcraft the local Okay, so this is
- 40:14Speaker 1: this is one of the origin stories, you know, like
- 40:17Speaker 1: in Marvel or something. This is the origin story. Uh,
- 40:20Speaker 1: there's a woman who practiced witchcraft. The locals did not
- 40:24Speaker 1: like the fact that she was practicing witchcraft, and so
- 40:28Speaker 1: they ended up unaliving her unliving means murdered her, okay,
- 40:35Speaker 1: And so so she came back to take vengeance upon
- 40:40Speaker 1: the people who unlived her, and she returned as an owl,
- 40:47Speaker 1: like an owl woman hybrid actually, so I don't know
- 40:51Speaker 1: if it looked like that. This is just a picture
- 40:53Speaker 1: that was online here too. I think she looks more
- 40:56Speaker 1: female woman like human like with our features. Actually, that's
- 41:02Speaker 1: kind of how the story goes there. This right here
- 41:04Speaker 1: is a really cool picture because that looks really it
- 41:07Speaker 1: looks kind of demonic and scary there. So she so
- 41:13Speaker 1: it's a it's a woman who had our features that
- 41:16Speaker 1: returned Now there's another another type of La la choosa,
- 41:20Speaker 1: and this is where you can choose to become one,
- 41:24Speaker 1: almost like the s Walkers. Okay, so this is and
- 41:26Speaker 1: it's it's usually women. I haven't heard of any men
- 41:31Speaker 1: that were La la chooses. Okay, maybeis could be male.
- 41:35Speaker 1: These are all female. It says that women get they
- 41:39Speaker 1: possess the desire to gain magical powers, kind of like
- 41:43Speaker 1: the s Walkers. So what do they do, John, They
- 41:47Speaker 1: sell their soul to the devil. They make that pact,
- 41:52Speaker 1: so similarly to the s Walkers and to the Ishkatini.
- 41:59Speaker 1: They do rich. They sell their soul.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Uh.
- 42:03Speaker 1: They transform at night and they fly around at night
- 42:06Speaker 1: looking for victims. And there's usually men. Now what they
- 42:11Speaker 1: do is exactly what Tom was telling us on Saturday Night.
- 42:15Speaker 1: So change keep it's changed with women, women looking dud
- 42:24Speaker 1: for men. Okay, I get it. I tell you. Yes.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Well these are actually pretty demonic sounding, okay, super demonic.
- 42:33Speaker 1: But they what they do is they lure people off
- 42:35Speaker 1: the trail, especially when they're out in the woods or
- 42:37Speaker 1: even at their homes wherever they are. They lure people
- 42:39Speaker 1: out of their houses. They lure people off the trail
- 42:42Speaker 1: by making crying sounds like a child, so they cry
- 42:47Speaker 1: like a kid when the kid goes to them, when
- 42:51Speaker 1: the human goes to them, the adult goes to them,
- 42:54Speaker 1: the men children, whoever goes towards them, Uh, they scoop
- 42:59Speaker 1: them up, they carry them to their nest. They say,
- 43:01Speaker 1: they peck them to pieces until they bleed out and
- 43:04Speaker 1: then they eat them. So that is diabolical.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Yeah, not a good reply, as they say. You know,
- 43:14Speaker 3: I was thinking too. They kind of like the chartar.
- 43:17Speaker 3: They have like two versions of Bigfoot. They have the
- 43:21Speaker 3: oak lea cheetah, which is just big people, that's what
- 43:25Speaker 3: it means in their language. And there it's kind of
- 43:28Speaker 3: like just a docile, you know, bigfoot that live in
- 43:32Speaker 3: the forest and walk away from you if you encounter them.
- 43:36Speaker 3: And then they got what they call a champe and
- 43:38Speaker 3: that's like an evil ogresh possessed type of of bigfoot
- 43:44Speaker 3: type cryptid.
- 43:46Speaker 2: So they kind of got a good one and a
- 43:48Speaker 2: bad one.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, very interesting. I'm looking at what's up the phoenix,
- 43:56Speaker 1: Hey lady, She says, I shift for like ninety seconds
- 43:59Speaker 1: at a time. I didn't make a pact. I think
- 44:01Speaker 1: it's Tuatha de denan phase shifter DNA. Oh my gosh,
- 44:06Speaker 1: is that for real? Because that's pretty cool. Okay. So
- 44:13Speaker 1: shape shifting is a thing foreshore foreshore and uh, and
- 44:17Speaker 1: it's not only in the you know s Walker phenomenon here,
- 44:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna call it a phenomenon, okay, but it's not
- 44:26Speaker 1: just with that, but it's with the fay.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Uh.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It's but a lot of it is. And I'm not
- 44:31Speaker 1: saying it's all witchcraft is dark, okay, but we have
- 44:35Speaker 1: other types of beings, even even Spearfinger okay, my one
- 44:40Speaker 1: of my favorite witches. Okay, but she's she's of the
- 44:43Speaker 1: Cherokee lore. And I do believe that there have been
- 44:46Speaker 1: times out in the woods, John, that me and my
- 44:48Speaker 1: team have encountered Spearfinger out in the woods. And it
- 44:53Speaker 1: sounds so weird. It's almost like, how could that be right,
- 44:57Speaker 1: because it's just a myth, she's not real. It's just
- 45:00Speaker 1: a telle to keep the kids out of the woods
- 45:02Speaker 1: at night. No, I think that we might have encountered
- 45:05Speaker 1: Spearfinger out in the woods before some sort of an energy.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Now she's known as a shape shifting witch up in
- 45:11Speaker 1: the Appellationians. Are you familiar with with Spearfinger.
- 45:15Speaker 2: John never heard her mention her.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Now, Oh, I think I may have a couple of
- 45:20Speaker 1: pictures actually because I started thinking about her. There's there's
- 45:24Speaker 1: a lot of things that are related here, I do believe,
- 45:27Speaker 1: and these are just some artistic representations that is actually
- 45:30Speaker 1: from a book I believe about Spearfinger. Spearfinger is she
- 45:36Speaker 1: lures She lures children off trail. She she'll lure anybody
- 45:40Speaker 1: that she can get, but she likes to shape shift.
- 45:43Speaker 1: She's actually quite demonic looking and just horrific. She's like
- 45:50Speaker 1: this what do you call it, Like a giant, a
- 45:55Speaker 1: deformed giant kind of, And she takes the form of
- 45:57Speaker 1: an old woman and she will go off to the
- 46:00Speaker 1: woods and she will just be very loving and kind,
- 46:03Speaker 1: especially to children, and she'll you know, stroke their hair
- 46:07Speaker 1: on their head until they fall asleep in her lap.
- 46:10Speaker 1: And then she takes her long spear finger and she
- 46:13Speaker 1: will dig it into their back and she pulls out
- 46:16Speaker 1: their liver and then she eats it.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Yes, like the witch on Hansel and Gretel. Wasn't she
- 46:24Speaker 2: like real nice until she got them and then putting
- 46:28Speaker 2: out so many old legends and stuff kind of you know,
- 46:33Speaker 2: you got wide the same legends.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure. Yeah, they're all they're all very similar.
- 46:41Speaker 1: So it makes you wonder, Okay, are they similar because
- 46:44Speaker 1: it's just a tradition that's just kind of been passed
- 46:47Speaker 1: down through regions and it's not real. Or could there
- 46:50Speaker 1: really be shape shifting which is out in the woods.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Well, how would you.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Explain those an knocky type stone carvings that the people
- 46:58Speaker 3: in like the spade suits in the bag in Egypt
- 47:02Speaker 3: and then again on the pyramids in Mexico the same thing,
- 47:08Speaker 3: I mean, the same thing.
- 47:09Speaker 2: How to explained stuff like that?
- 47:12Speaker 1: Well, it's just what people saw all over the world.
- 47:16Speaker 1: It's so wild, right, so wild. Okay, So with Lolly Choosa,
- 47:24Speaker 1: some of the stories say that they swooped down over
- 47:28Speaker 1: people's car at night. Okay, it sweeps down over cars
- 47:33Speaker 1: at night.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Now.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I just told the story when we first started the
- 47:37Speaker 1: show about being up at one of my research areas
- 47:41Speaker 1: having a super intense big Foot encounter. We hopped in
- 47:45Speaker 1: the car because it started pouring rain and rain. At
- 47:48Speaker 1: that exact moment, the rain came out of nowhere. There
- 47:50Speaker 1: was no rain in the forecast. All of a sudden
- 47:53Speaker 1: thunderstruck and lightning struck and then the skies opened up
- 47:58Speaker 1: and it started pouring, and it wasn't just sprink it
- 48:00Speaker 1: was pouring a tracial downpour where we thought the road
- 48:03Speaker 1: might give out. So we got out of there so quickly.
- 48:07Speaker 1: And as we're leaving that al swooped. That al swooped
- 48:11Speaker 1: down over in front of the car and looked at
- 48:13Speaker 1: all three of us, and I screamed because I thought
- 48:15Speaker 1: we were going to hit it. Now it says it
- 48:17Speaker 1: swooped down sweeps down over cars at night. So what
- 48:21Speaker 1: what I'm thinking is we might have encountered l I'll
- 48:24Speaker 1: let choose a of there.
- 48:26Speaker 2: You know you're talking about.
- 48:28Speaker 3: You had a you have an intense, big, big put encounter,
- 48:33Speaker 3: you have a storm come out of nowhere. Then you
- 48:35Speaker 3: got this longlegs chooser this, I'll you know here about
- 48:39Speaker 3: that part from end up in a David Politis book.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Right, And I don't think anybody knew where we were
- 48:46Speaker 1: going either, Okay.
- 48:47Speaker 2: So I had not told them, Yeah, you were doing
- 48:50Speaker 2: everything wrong.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I did everything wrong that night. I did oh, I
- 48:55Speaker 1: did everything.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Well.
- 48:57Speaker 1: We took precaution, We just I just you know, these
- 49:00Speaker 1: areas that I go. I don't like people knowing where
- 49:02Speaker 1: I'm going. You know, if they know I'm going somewhere,
- 49:04Speaker 1: I just don't know exactly where I'm going. Okay, but
- 49:06Speaker 1: I got my spots. People could have found me, let's
- 49:09Speaker 1: just say, but it would have taken a minute figured out.
- 49:13Speaker 1: You would have had to call the right person to
- 49:14Speaker 1: find out where I was. But nonetheless, yeah, we could have.
- 49:21Speaker 1: We could have. I did have my you know, I
- 49:24Speaker 1: had my ham radio with me and stuff. But at
- 49:26Speaker 1: the same time, you just never know, no, you do.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Never there's something you never. I got lost here. First
- 49:32Speaker 3: time I came to look in the woods, I went
- 49:34Speaker 3: up a hill and as before I moved here. It
- 49:36Speaker 3: was the first time I came here. I thought I
- 49:38Speaker 3: was writing the first book, and I thought, well, I
- 49:41Speaker 3: want to see what the Knight's like out there and
- 49:43Speaker 3: see if I'm describing and writing a book. And I
- 49:46Speaker 3: came out here and parked about three miles down the
- 49:48Speaker 3: road before town, went up the hill, got turned around.
- 49:52Speaker 2: There there's no reference, you know, there's no city lights,
- 49:56Speaker 2: there's nothing.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I got lost. Finally figured out my phone came on.
- 50:01Speaker 3: I said, oh, okay, there. I didn't realize there was
- 50:04Speaker 3: an intersection. I had walked all the way on the
- 50:07Speaker 3: mountain ridge to an intersection and couldn't figure out why
- 50:11Speaker 3: my truck wasn't there.
- 50:13Speaker 1: And you're you literally live right in the area of
- 50:16Speaker 1: the Siege of Hanobi and to have bigfoots in your backyard.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, And then crossed my mind a couple of times.
- 50:25Speaker 3: And I didn't tell anything. You know, it was back
- 50:27Speaker 3: when single. I didn't tell anybody where I was going.
- 50:29Speaker 3: I just threw some stuff in the truck and took off,
- 50:32Speaker 3: you know, on a Saturday.
- 50:33Speaker 1: And yeah, oh my gosh, Well we got to be
- 50:36Speaker 1: more careful. I guess right. I'm usually pretty careful about
- 50:40Speaker 1: about stuff, okay, and uh, And like I said, somebody
- 50:43Speaker 1: would have eventually figured out where I was, but at
- 50:45Speaker 1: that moment, no, And so it was good that we
- 50:48Speaker 1: got out of there. I took it all as an
- 50:51Speaker 1: omen like, you know, maybe I'm not gonna say we
- 50:53Speaker 1: shouldn't have gone there, because we all had a really
- 50:56Speaker 1: intense bigfoot encounter. It was really cool. But it's almost
- 51:01Speaker 1: like we were being forced to leave and guided out
- 51:04Speaker 1: of there, if you know what I mean. It's like
- 51:06Speaker 1: forced out guided and then had that experience and it
- 51:11Speaker 1: was like it was just really cool. I don't know
- 51:12Speaker 1: if it was like stay away or what. But here's
- 51:15Speaker 1: another here's another fun fact about lally Choosa. Their bulletproof.
- 51:20Speaker 1: They're immortal. When people shoot at them, they don't they
- 51:23Speaker 1: don't pass away. Yeah right, But they're also known to
- 51:30Speaker 1: some in thunderstorms. They're known to some in thunderstorms. And
- 51:34Speaker 1: that's exactly what happened to us up on that mountain
- 51:37Speaker 1: that night, was we had the Bigfoot experience. Thunderstruck, rains
- 51:42Speaker 1: started pouring down, we had to get out of there.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Well, you know, one of the we're talking about these
- 51:50Speaker 2: al based cryptids and stuff, something that I never knew
- 51:54Speaker 2: about until a couple of years ago. I think it
- 51:56Speaker 2: was only two years ago.
- 51:57Speaker 3: I was watching the movie, Uh, the Four Kind, and
- 52:01Speaker 3: it started relating people seeing these oul faces in their
- 52:04Speaker 3: windows at night and it and they were going through
- 52:09Speaker 3: the alien abduction stuff, and I hadn't Yeah, there you go.
- 52:16Speaker 3: I had no idea that the two were connected like that.
- 52:20Speaker 3: And that's really interesting to me. In fact, that's giving
- 52:24Speaker 3: me food for another book.
- 52:26Speaker 1: So well, it does an out looks eerily similar to
- 52:33Speaker 1: an extraterrestrial, which is really interesting. I love these pictures,
- 52:38Speaker 1: these are just amazing.
- 52:40Speaker 2: This artwork. Now, that's that's back to the Ischcatini. That one.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Well this now, now, is that the flat Woods monster? John?
- 52:50Speaker 3: You know, it could be It looks a bit like it,
- 52:52Speaker 3: doesn't it. But I think this must be an Iscatini.
- 52:55Speaker 3: You know, it's got the outface on the right. I
- 52:58Speaker 3: don't know, maybe an It may be the flat was monsters.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Good good catch.
- 53:05Speaker 1: It definitely does.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I have not covered the flat Woods monsters on my
- 53:08Speaker 1: show yet, so that's something we need to look into
- 53:11Speaker 1: in the field.
- 53:11Speaker 3: We're gonna have to when you and I, when you
- 53:13Speaker 3: have me as a as a guest, we're gonna call
- 53:16Speaker 3: it the A D D Show because because we all
- 53:19Speaker 3: start covering everything.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Else because well, here's the thing, John, is all connected.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well I believe it's all connected too. It's like
- 53:27Speaker 2: your your grandparents.
- 53:29Speaker 3: You know, you're saying it was aliens picking up They
- 53:31Speaker 3: said they it was an angel thing. It's both to
- 53:35Speaker 3: me because I believe that's what we're seeing. I believe
- 53:38Speaker 3: that's what the An Andakey were. I tend to look
- 53:42Speaker 3: at them as angels. Some people want to call them aliens.
- 53:44Speaker 3: It's like, okay, but you know, I look at things
- 53:48Speaker 3: through a biblical worldview, and I do think it's all connected.
- 53:52Speaker 2: I really do.
- 53:53Speaker 4: And it goes from the good to the bad, you know.
- 53:56Speaker 4: So yeah, yeah, sorry, if I got out, if I
- 54:03Speaker 4: got off the path.
- 54:04Speaker 2: We were on the pe Times today.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Now we're listen our path, they say, my okay, so
- 54:10Speaker 1: my senior, what is it called? Like the quote? We
- 54:13Speaker 1: had a senior quote when I was in high school
- 54:15Speaker 1: and it was talking about I think it was like,
- 54:17Speaker 1: I don't know if it was I forgot who wrote
- 54:19Speaker 1: this poem. If I don't know, it was Robert Froster,
- 54:21Speaker 1: something about the path less traveled. Okay, I am so
- 54:25Speaker 1: off path all the time. I go, that's where all
- 54:27Speaker 1: the adventure is. That's where the fun is. Okay, that's
- 54:30Speaker 1: where the things are un explored. That's what I do. Okay.
- 54:35Speaker 1: And uh, I took that to heart. Okay, And that's
- 54:38Speaker 1: what I do. And and if that means us taking
- 54:41Speaker 1: detours off of what we're what the main topic is,
- 54:43Speaker 1: then so be it. Because that's the way we make
- 54:47Speaker 1: sense of things because you know, honestly, nothing makes sense.
- 54:49Speaker 1: We don't have to make things make sense. But when
- 54:52Speaker 1: we can relate one story to the next that's where
- 54:54Speaker 1: the beauty lies, in my opinion.
- 54:57Speaker 2: Good point, good point. Plus it's Monday, it is Monday.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Who gives a crap. We're just here to have fun.
- 55:05Speaker 1: We're just here to have fun and have the audience.
- 55:07Speaker 1: We've got a great audience today. I'm sorry, I keep
- 55:09Speaker 1: getting sidetracked and I can keep forgetting full of comments here.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I do want to show a couple more pictures too,
- 55:14Speaker 1: before we go on, because John, you you sent me
- 55:16Speaker 1: some great pictures. Now, this that's a great piece of
- 55:23Speaker 1: art right there. Now, that's that's a little creepy. That
- 55:27Speaker 1: looks ominous.
- 55:30Speaker 2: It does.
- 55:31Speaker 1: That's an ominous one here and that looks now now
- 55:35Speaker 1: that would be interesting to see in the woods.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely.
- 55:40Speaker 1: And uh and this this actually looks like La la
- 55:43Speaker 1: choosa what I would think?
- 55:46Speaker 3: Yeah it does now I found that on the Iscactini side.
- 55:49Speaker 3: But you're right, it does look like but the laa
- 55:53Speaker 3: choose the art you were showing me.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Well, I just think that they're connected. I think that
- 55:59Speaker 1: there's a some smiliarity with them. And uh, of course,
- 56:02Speaker 1: any any kind of owl witch, I mean that's what
- 56:05Speaker 1: it is. Continued. A skin walker is a witch, right, so.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the same thing with the seminal version of these.
- 56:16Speaker 2: It's a witch doctor a witch ye.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Okay, Well, so I mentioned that the the
- 56:26Speaker 1: Lalla Chooser will summon a thunderstorm, and that is how
- 56:29Speaker 1: it takes cover when it's hunting. And so the fact
- 56:35Speaker 1: that I encountered the thunderstorm the rain right after the
- 56:38Speaker 1: Bigfoot experience, and then we drove out and then the
- 56:41Speaker 1: owl sweeped on over the car and looked at us
- 56:43Speaker 1: in our eyes like we we all three literally felt
- 56:46Speaker 1: like we didn't know if we'd had missing time or what. Like,
- 56:49Speaker 1: we were so confused, and I do you remember John,
- 56:52Speaker 1: that same night while we were going when we were
- 56:54Speaker 1: going there and going back, we had we were we
- 56:58Speaker 1: didn't have any kind of address the g because where
- 57:00Speaker 1: I took them was not there's no address there. You
- 57:04Speaker 1: have to know it if you know it. If you
- 57:06Speaker 1: know it, you know it, and and so there's no
- 57:08Speaker 1: actual coordinates to get there, Like I didn't have any
- 57:13Speaker 1: to get there, and so they only knew how to
- 57:17Speaker 1: get there by me telling them where to go because
- 57:19Speaker 1: I was in the back seat, somebody else was driving.
- 57:22Speaker 1: And when we got out on the road, the GPS
- 57:25Speaker 1: was actually showing that we were not on the road.
- 57:28Speaker 1: We were driving on the road, but it was showing
- 57:30Speaker 1: us driving way off in the field next to where
- 57:32Speaker 1: we were driving. It was just weird the whole trip,
- 57:35Speaker 1: which is really odd, and we were sitting there trying
- 57:37Speaker 1: to figure that out. When that ol sweeped down in
- 57:39Speaker 1: front of our car.
- 57:40Speaker 2: I'll be doing.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Yeah, everything was going haywire, honest, So really interesting stuff.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Could have been. La la Choosa could have just been
- 57:50Speaker 1: a coolincidence, Okay, could have been. But there are ways
- 57:55Speaker 1: to fight La la choosa, to keep it away from
- 57:58Speaker 1: you and to keep it from harming you, because ultimately,
- 58:01Speaker 1: like Tom was telling us on Saturday, the ultimate goal
- 58:04Speaker 1: is to eat you and to harm you. It all
- 58:10Speaker 1: boils down to the blood basically when it comes to
- 58:13Speaker 1: these creatures out there. So the number one thing that
- 58:17Speaker 1: you can do is to carry salt and throw salt
- 58:21Speaker 1: at it.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Wow, not with the salt.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know those old traditions, right John, where
- 58:25Speaker 1: you throw salt over your left shoulder and you put
- 58:28Speaker 1: salt around your house to protect your house.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Well, you know, my dad told me when I was
- 58:33Speaker 3: a little bitty boy, if I could get salt on
- 58:35Speaker 3: a bird's tail. I could catch it, it couldn't fly.
- 58:39Speaker 3: And I don't know how many pounds of salt I
- 58:41Speaker 3: wasted chasing birds around New York. I think you keep
- 58:46Speaker 3: me busy, keep me out of trouble.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and salt was cheap, probably, so you could just
- 58:51Speaker 1: waste all the salt you wanted. Okay, that's actually not
- 58:54Speaker 1: a bad idea. But you said catch a bird bite's tail.
- 58:57Speaker 1: That's where you learn how to catch your dog bitees
- 58:59Speaker 1: Tailou wasn't it?
- 59:00Speaker 2: No, it was get salt on the bird's tail and
- 59:02Speaker 2: then you can catch it. It couldn't.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Oh get this, Oh, put the salt on the bird sail.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I thought you might catch it by his tail. That's funny.
- 59:09Speaker 2: But then again, when I was older, it took me
- 59:11Speaker 2: snipe onny dude.
- 59:12Speaker 1: So oh, very nice, very nice. Uh Okay, that is
- 59:19Speaker 1: that's wild. Okay. We talked a good bit about the
- 59:22Speaker 1: salt when it comes to keeping bad spirits away, and
- 59:27Speaker 1: you know, demonic entities and things like that. Some people
- 59:30Speaker 1: actually even put salt around their bed at night and
- 59:32Speaker 1: put salt around their bed post to keep I guess
- 59:36Speaker 1: the sleep paralysis demons out or something I'm not even sure,
- 59:41Speaker 1: but uh, but yeah, let's see salt. Okay. So and
- 59:44Speaker 1: when it comes to salt, okay, here's the thing. When
- 59:49Speaker 1: people say, like, if you get some, you spill some salt,
- 59:51Speaker 1: you get it, and you throw it over your left shoulder.
- 59:53Speaker 1: That's what I remember from growing up as a kid.
- 59:56Speaker 1: But that's because it repels demons. And I never knew that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I just thought it was good luck. Apparently it repels
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: all the negative energies away from you. So I need
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: some more salt. I need to carry salt in my bag,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: like get my pocket every day so I can just poop.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I would throw it at people. I'm just kidding. I
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: wouldn't throw it at people that might hurt. But okay,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: So salt is one way to repel the la la choosa.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: The second way. You will never guess the second way, John,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: unless unless you've already researched this. The second way to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: repel la la choosa. Do you want to take a guess?
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Pepper?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I don't know, pepper, that's close, but no cigar. Okay.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: The second way is to cuss at it, to say
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: swear words, and to say the worst swear words you
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: could think of and uh and that's how you get
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: how you repel them now, which which sounds totally weird. Okay,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I mean,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I get I get mad, like I don't like hearing
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: too many cuss words. Personally myself, I don't cuss very often.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Well, if I was mad or scary time, I probably
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: would be when I wouldn't even need to sell so
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: exactly right, because it was if I thought it was
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: trying to kill me.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Because yeah, yes, okay, I just I just remembered something
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and there was a video that I would have loved
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: or shown. I forgot to pull it up because I
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: was thinking about this last night when I was getting
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: ready for the show. There's a hilarious video. To me,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: it's hilarious. It might not be funny to other people.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: To me, it's hilarious. There's a church, I think it
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: was supposed to be in Mexico, and al had landed
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: inside the church and the congregation, the choir everyone in
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: there started playing music, you know, hitting their tambourines, playing
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: piano and whatever they're doing, and they started singing to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: get the bird out of the church because they said
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: they thought it was a demon or demonic or some
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: kind of jock in law. They choose a right, so
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: they start singing and this video is all of them
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: singing and dancing, and they're trying to get this owl
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to leave, to banish the owl by singing praise songs
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and the ouse parts going like this, man, the owl's
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: just chilling. It's like yeah to the beat, and in
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: its head it's just kind of bobbin and it's vibing,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: like this owl is so vibing, and uh and that
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: is I mean to me, that is hilarious. Okay, it's hilarious.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I know it's not probably not funny the everybody, but
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: uh yeah, if you guys can find that, what I'll
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: do after the show, I will definitely thank you. And
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Andrew thinks it's funny, okay, but uh but people, uh,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I will you guys. I will find that video on Instagram.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: It's on Facebook. I'm going to find it and put
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: it on my my stories. I'll put it on my
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: stories and uh but yeah, it just it started just
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: dancing and the more the louder they got, and the more,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you know, the more repetitive they got with it. The
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: bird just kind of sat there and just dance some
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: more and it never left.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: That's yes.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: So yeah, uh that that was another introduction to lallet
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: choose as well. But anyways, I know, we like to
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: make light of these really dark topics, you know, John,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: And so that's what I do. That's what I do
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: because these are no joke and if they're going to
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: go eating people, yeah, yeah, we gotta probably not laugh
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: about it too much. But that was a funny one.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: That was really funny there.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: I tend to laugh a lot when I'm scared. I
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: think a lot of people do because it eats his attention,
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I think.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: And you know, if I'm in a situations got to
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: going bad, I'm probably going to say something, make a
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: joke about it, or you know, try and get a
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: laugh out of it, just to ease attention, you know.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, So have you ever seen me laughing
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: in a bad situation? Is not because I'm brave, It's
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: just because I'm trying to ease attention, get you know,
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: make sure I don't lose it or something.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I'm the same way, John, I'm the same way. I
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: think a lot of us are. And and so it's
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: that nervous laugh.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Okay, well I've been here before. All right, what's about
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to happen. If I'm not laughing, I'm crying. That's my motto.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: If I'm not laughing, I'm crying. Okay. So yeah, that's
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: like I said, I think a lot of us are that.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: That's same exact way. So, uh, but that's that's what
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: we do over here on the crypt Hunter's Channel. I
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: just don't think we should take everything so seriously all
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the time. Okay, these are serious topics, but we got
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: to throw in a little bit of lightheartedness with all
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: of it. And uh, and so you do that. You
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: do a great job of doing that with your book
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: series too, John, I love it. You've got your books
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: could be like so violent but so funny and uh
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: and keep keep people on the edge of their seats,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: even the youth books too, by the way, So I
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I salute you for your amazing books. I love your
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: book series and I appreciate that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm uh, sarcastic.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Characters in my book, I guess, oh my gosh, they're well,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: they're they're amazing and it keeps it keeps the reader
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: focused in on it.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: So you know, I've got Relics one. It's in the
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: hangar right now. It's getting redone.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: I got a publishing company that has a line editor
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: and a content editor going over to get all the
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: typos and things like that, because I just wanted, you know,
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: I want it right, you know, TYPEO wise and all that.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: I know, Relics had a lot of issues, and so
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: I'm paying to get all that fixed. And but it's
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: still gonna it's still gonna have the same same stuff.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: And you know, I was worried about people like in
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: my book. And then when people got so mad because
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: a certain character got killed in the second book, I
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: figured out I was doing I was doing things right
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: if people were and I was getting hate mail about
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: another another character in the first book, and you know,
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: he came back in the second book and they're like,
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: something's gonna happen to him. And then another character had
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: their demise, and oh, my goodness, you would.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Have thought the world ended. So you know, I was
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: taking a beating, but I thought, no, that's a good sign.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Hey, at least people are passionate about your books. John,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: That says a lot.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Well.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: I remember one guy said, you know you're you killed
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: this guy's like Ian Flemy killing Double O seven and
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: I'm like, no, I'm writing the series. My Double O
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: seven hasn't shown up yet, you know, my Double O
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: seven count of come down on the third book. But
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: it's it's been enjoyable. It's just funny seeing how how
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: people react. They all react so differently.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: You know, like some will write some really saying, some
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: just you, you know, they they catch you out and
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: tell you how stupid you are, and it's it's it's funny.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: It's a lot of fun. But I really appreciate your
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: support of my books.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Thank you so much well, of course, and I am
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I am lucky enough to have a copy of just
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: about every one of your books. And uh, and I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: have read all of them.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I have.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: There's one that I have not finished that you sent
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: me yet. But uh, but when I can, I find
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: time to read your books, for sure. And so does
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: my son. He's got the Youth novels and I love them.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: And so yeah, I wanted I think this is a
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: great stopping point. I guess I do have to go
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: pick up my kid.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: It is.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: It is a weekday, so.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: I can say one thing right now, I'm becoming websites
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: my website company came back and wanted like to double
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: the price and I'd already paid for a year, and
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: then they wanted more, and I'm like, no, if I
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: got to build one myself. So find my books on
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Amazon at John Vandaventer. Just look author John Vanda Winter
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: and that's the way to find them right now, and
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: hopefully by the next time I'm on your show, I'll
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: have a new website.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I was gonna tell you. I was
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: trying to. I was trying to type in your website
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: today and it was not coming up. So I was
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: actually going to and that is it's relicsbook dot com.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: But y'all go to Amazon and I'll just put this
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: back on there so you'll know that it's Relics. So
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: it's the Relics series John Vendavnter.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: You'll see his name right there and I say spell
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: it and John been de venture on Amazon. All his
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: books are there, y'all, Okay, so please and we'll I
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: think there actually is a link in the description box
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to Amazon. Maybe I was gonna put it in there.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: If I didn't, will All those Shadow Chaser books are
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: on Audible.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: They're on audible. So if you can't get your kid
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: to read, but to listen, well that's kind of dumb.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Then I'm like, but if they like to listen to
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: a story, they're on audible as well.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well it's good to have. Like if you're
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: on a trip, you're you're going on a long drive.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I've been taking my son on trips to go big
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: footing out of town and stuff, and and so it's
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you know, two or three hours. Actually we took an
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: eight hour drive back in July. But uh, but yeah,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: that that'd be great to have on audio actually these books.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: So yeah, that is a great idea. And so I
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: think it's wonderful.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: John.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I'm so excited that you came hung out with me
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: again today. I I really do have a good time hanging.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: Out with you. Yeah, I have a good time too.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Well good. Well, do you have any final thoughts on
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: the Iscatini and Lalla Choosa today?
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Well, the Iscatini talked all wise, how are you gonna
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: know if it's an Icicatini right now? If you're basing
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: on the hearing semino wise and Larlatuosa, I think that's
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: just be a terrifying thing to run into, you know,
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: and I don't think.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Bird shot would do it. You're gonna need buckshot.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. See you think in terms of what
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I think in terms of and I know a lot
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: of people do not think this way. And I'm sorry,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: but you think of well, can can I stop it?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: But if I had to, you know, could well bullet
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: a bullet penetrate it? And actually the answer is no,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: they say when it comes to La La Choosa, and
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: they say also with the s Walkers as well, so Iscatini,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: what do I here too?
