  SPEAKER_00: Oh.
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_04: Alright, well, I have a beer.
• 2:51
SPEAKER_00: Listen, fresh fresh out the tap though.
• 2:53
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, fresh out the tap.
• 2:57
SPEAKER_01: You wanna see my special shirt?
• 2:58
SPEAKER_01: I can't see it, but it says let's go wine tasting on the couch.
• 3:05
SPEAKER_01: I wear this grocery shop.
• 3:06
  SPEAKER_01: I I I appreciate that.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_01: I remember I wore it, I think I when I first got it, it was grocery shopping and one of the firemen I love firemen they shop in the grocery store.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_01: He's like, sounds like a plan to me.
• 3:17
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, uh huh.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Oh, alright.
• 3:21
  SPEAKER_01: I forgot what I had on.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_00: You have to check if you had clothes on.
• 3:29
SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, they they do like that sometimes.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_04: Agnes, overall how'd you like the episode?
• 3:42
  SPEAKER_04: Meh.
• 3:43
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_00: I it was like looking back at it, I you know, you have the excitement over off the season finale, and then going into that episode, you're like, did you guys just like did you guys just take a break or something?
• 4:00
SPEAKER_00: Like was there something going on that you put on you put out like such a trash episode?
• 4:06
SPEAKER_01: It's like they forgot they had an episode of right.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_01: Like, oh right, let's cruise the channel real quick.
• 4:12
  SPEAKER_00: It's a season premiere.
• 4:13
SPEAKER_00: You're supposed to you're supposed to rock it off of that ending of of of the three of them getting taken.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: Like, you're not supposed to just sit down and flash back to Jack going fucking batshit crazy over the guy that's doinking his his wife.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_01: I thought I went into the season, okay, at the end of last season, I was like, okay, this is getting good.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_01: This but after much conversation, season three sets balls, I've been told.
• 4:41
SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, okay, I'm back to season one feeling now.
• 4:43
SPEAKER_01: Like my barometer, my little is going right back down to like what was it?
• 4:49
SPEAKER_01: What was I like a hundred and ten?
• 4:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm back to like a ninety again.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_01: Like that's killing me, killing me small.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you know, it's it's I guess for shows that last that long, especially dramas, it's hard to keep the it's hard to keep it up that whole time.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_01: Not every episode could be bangers.
• 5:07
  SPEAKER_00: I get it.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_00: But the sea but there are some dud of seas like episodes in season three.
• 5:13
  SPEAKER_00: There's some real stinkers.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_00: And the season premiere was a stinker.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_04: It just was kinda like meh.
• 5:19
SPEAKER_04: That that that's like it wasn't it wasn't to me it wasn't bad, but it wasn't oh my god, you know, like started off with a bang.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_00: That episode should have been like a uh episode like four thing.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_04: And they think it started off good.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_01: I can yeah, and I was like, what, what, what say word?
• 5:37
SPEAKER_01: And then I'm like, oh, alright.
• 5:38
SPEAKER_01: I think I had like three notes on this whole episode, and one of the notes was like a personal it had nothing to do with the show per se, it was like a personal between the characters and someone I know.
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_01: I was like, okay.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_00: Alright, so we'll just talk about this episode in like ten minutes and then uh we'll just get toward debauchery.
• 5:55
  unknown: Okay.
• 5:56
SPEAKER_01: Sounds like fun to me.
• 5:58
SPEAKER_04: Alright, I'm gonna start with the flashbacks.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_04: I think like the flashbacks might have been the most interesting part.
• 6:04
  unknown: Yeah.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_04: Sipping his coffee from a distance while in his car, Jack watches his wife Sarah as she plays with her young pupils at kindergarten.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_04: He notices her joke with the man there and frowns as Sarah whispers something into his ear, causing the unknown man to laugh.
• 6:25
SPEAKER_04: Later, Jack arrives at a divorce meeting.
• 6:28
SPEAKER_04: In the waiting room, he tries to spark conversation with Sarah, but she seems more interested in initiating the proceedings than talking to her ex.
• 6:37
  SPEAKER_04: Jack fires his lawyer.
• 6:38
SPEAKER_04: His attempts to reconcile are also quickly interrupted as Sarah's phone rings and Jack overhears her laughing to the person at the other end.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_04: He asks her what his name is, a question we gather he has asked her many times, and Jack tells her she can have whatever she wants in the divorce, but he has a right to know the name of the man who is with his wife.
• 6:59
SPEAKER_04: And instead of answering, Sarah walks out.
• 7:03
  SPEAKER_04: What are you doing?
• 7:05
  SPEAKER_00: It's just funny.
• 7:07
  SPEAKER_04: What is funny?
• 7:08
  SPEAKER_04: Jack's sadness?
• 7:09
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_00: I can understand to a point, but it's just like it's it's way too it's like just like not for nothing.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_01: We all wanted him at this point.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_01: I think no, but that's what you wanted.
• 7:22
SPEAKER_01: Fuck you, suck a dick.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_01: If you wanted a conversation, we could we had years of marriage when you have a fucking conversation and care about me.
• 7:28
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_04: At the same time, at the end, he comes in feeling guilty because he kissed someone, tells her, and she's all pissed off at him, and then's like, oh, I'm really pissed off at you because you kissed somebody and had the nerve to fucking tell me.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_04: But by the way, FYI, my bags are packed, and I was leaving you anyway.
• 7:47
SPEAKER_04: Look, I'm mad at you because you kissed someone.
• 7:49
SPEAKER_00: But because I've I've been fucking someone else, and I've been doing everything with someone else, enough that I'm going to leave you.
• 7:54
SPEAKER_00: But how dare you put your tongue down another woman's toe?
• 7:56
SPEAKER_01: That was kind of like, really, bitch?
• 7:58
SPEAKER_01: And I'm trying to be fair, like we don't know the whole scope of the marriage, to be fair.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, you look at her like you lost your mind, chick?
• 8:08
SPEAKER_01: Are you just really personality?
• 8:10
SPEAKER_00: You can figure it out.
• 8:11
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 8:12
  SPEAKER_00: Obsessive, obsessive, at work.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_00: You know, and once probably once he had the woman, he just kind of not ignored like not ignored her, but he took it he took the relationship for granted and just probably was so entrenched at work that he forgot that he had a wife or like they just didn't live a life.
• 8:33
SPEAKER_00: Like he lived for work, and then she was also like uh like she was there.
• 8:39
SPEAKER_01: He reminds me of a person in my past.
• 8:44
SPEAKER_01: He reminds me of a person in my past, and at least and I just I kind of made the connection between him and the other person, at least like I get it now.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_01: He has his thing, this other person, he doesn't know how to love necessarily, but he wants to be able to fix people.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_01: He wants you he wants someone who wants him because they need him.
• 9:06
SPEAKER_01: They don't need him because they want him.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_01: So he needs to be he needs to be needed.
• 9:12
SPEAKER_01: He needs to fix things, he needs to it's every time I hit the table, it's loud.
• 9:17
SPEAKER_01: So like that's how much I feel my passionate about this.
• 9:21
SPEAKER_01: I think this is why I despise Jack to no end.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_01: Because hey, I don't think he understands the concept of love and how to love someone.
• 9:31
SPEAKER_01: Not that he's malicious, but evil.
• 9:33
  SPEAKER_01: I don't think he knows how.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_01: He doesn't know how to.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_01: So it's like daddy issues.
• 9:37
SPEAKER_01: You know, there's a lot of people have daddy issues that don't know how but you know what?
• 9:41
  SPEAKER_01: Is it a reason?
• 9:42
SPEAKER_01: Does it explain some things?
• 9:44
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, but it's not a get out of jail free card.
• 9:48
SPEAKER_00: No, it's not, but you think you I don't think they talk too much about like his relationship with his mother, but like everything is is literally revolved.
• 9:57
SPEAKER_00: Like he's emulated his father in so many ways that it's you can understand more the way he is.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_01: It's not an excuse to it's the reason for that excuse, right?
• 10:08
  SPEAKER_01: I get it.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_00: It's it's just that's just the way it is.
• 10:11
SPEAKER_00: He's he's lived his way because he's emulated the person that's the closest to him, and he just doesn't know how to get out of it.
• 10:20
SPEAKER_01: I think if Jack did if he wasn't, I mean the same fucking person in my past.
• 10:27
SPEAKER_01: If he wasn't that, I don't think I would hate Jack as much.
• 10:31
SPEAKER_01: I think Jack would annoy me, but I despise the character.
• 10:35
  SPEAKER_01: I really do.
• 10:37
SPEAKER_01: I have post-traumatic s stress syndrome, just thinking about that tick.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_01: I like that tick, like dude.
• 10:47
SPEAKER_01: And it's been like uh three years now.
• 10:53
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 10:54
  unknown: Okay.
• 10:55
  SPEAKER_01: Went by fast.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_01: To be fair, that drama kickstarted off my diet really well.
• 11:03
SPEAKER_01: Like I was on my diet, like, whoa, and like two months later, nothing fit.
• 11:07
  SPEAKER_01: I was like, yes.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_04: At the hospital, Jack is trying to track down the man by phoning each of Sarah's contacts under the pretense that he has found her phone.
• 11:20
SPEAKER_04: His father Christian enters and tells Jack to accept the fact that Sarah has moved on.
• 11:25
SPEAKER_04: Jack disregards him and calls the next number he has on the list, and to his surprise, his father's phone begins to ring.
• 11:32
SPEAKER_04: Asking him why his wife has been calling him, Christian tells him to simply let it go.
• 11:38
SPEAKER_04: Jack refuses to listen, shouting for his father to tell him the truth.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_04: Christian says that it's because she was afraid for Jack's health.
• 11:47
SPEAKER_04: The argument soon gets heated as Jack touches a nerve by calling his father a drunk.
• 11:52
SPEAKER_04: Christian storms out of the room, but not before repeating that Jack needs to let it go.
• 11:57
SPEAKER_04: Later, Jack is with a patient when he notices Christian's cell phone ringing outside the room.
• 12:02
SPEAKER_04: Christian laughs as he chats, and Jack seems to suspect that his father has been lying to him.
• 12:07
SPEAKER_04: After his shift, he stalks Christian to the Linford Hotel.
• 12:12
SPEAKER_04: Busting into the room he entered.
• 12:14
SPEAKER_04: Jack finds that he is actually in an AA meeting.
• 12:18
SPEAKER_04: However, undeterred, he demands Christian's cell phone, but is asked to take a seat by the team leader.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_04: He immediately stands on guard and starts mocking his father and things in his past.
• 12:29
SPEAKER_04: He explicitly accuses Christian of sleeping with Sarah.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_04: Christian shakes his head in disgust in disgust.
• 12:36
SPEAKER_04: As Jack moves to leave, Christian yet again tells him to let it go.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_04: This time Jack retaliates, charging at his father and tackling him to the ground.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_04: Jack sits in a cell after all this, but is quickly told that someone has paid his bail, meaning he's free to leave.
• 12:54
SPEAKER_04: As Jack leaves, he finds that the person was Sarah, who tells him that she's called to Macab.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_04: She runs out, and as Jack follows, he sees a man waiting by a car for her.
• 13:05
SPEAKER_04: He demands to know that he demands to know if that's him, and Sarah replies, It doesn't matter who he is, it just matters who you're not.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_04: She reveals that a drunken Christian phones her, asking for her to help Jack, and that his alcoholism is something for Jack to fix now.
• 13:25
SPEAKER_04: She then leaves, ushered away by the man with her.
• 13:30
SPEAKER_01: So I think we talked about this sometime last season, and I don't remember when, but I my guess was wrong, right?
• 13:37
SPEAKER_01: Like it was right and that's where they were going, but it was wrong when we're like, nope, that's not it.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, oh damn, I was wrong again.
• 13:45
SPEAKER_04: With Christian's sobriety, um like to try to fit it into the timeline of the flashbacks.
• 13:57
SPEAKER_04: Remember, he was drinking at the hospital, and that was the catalyst of Jack ratting him out and then him quitting and going to Sydney.
• 14:07
SPEAKER_04: And in this episode, he says that he had been sober for 50 days.
• 14:12
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 14:13
SPEAKER_04: And then he called Sarah drunk.
• 14:17
SPEAKER_04: So I guess uh we don't know like how sh how long or how shortly after this is when he went, but I mean he was drinking in Sydney.
• 14:31
  SPEAKER_01: So I'm guessing.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_01: But he was drinking in Los Angeles.
• 14:35
SPEAKER_01: Remember, that's why Jack reported.
• 14:37
SPEAKER_01: I feel like no, I feel like like he went clean and then that night he was drinking again.
• 14:42
SPEAKER_01: And I I think the Sydney thing, him and Sydney wasn't too long afterwards.
• 14:47
SPEAKER_01: Plus he went back on the wagon.
• 14:49
SPEAKER_00: This might be the cat this might be the catalyst of him beginning drinking again.
• 14:54
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe that's the timeline they're they're going for.
• 14:57
SPEAKER_00: Like his wife left him, then the whole thing in the hospital happened.
• 15:01
SPEAKER_00: Like this is probably like what bleeds into that.
• 15:03
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 15:04
SPEAKER_00: And then goes on further to the Sydney stuff.
• 15:08
SPEAKER_01: Didn't she say that she he called her and he was already drunk?
• 15:11
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 15:12
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 15:12
  SPEAKER_01: Right, okay.
• 15:15
  SPEAKER_01: Alright, on the island.
• 15:17
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 15:18
SPEAKER_01: I said, so Jack really should feel guilty.
• 15:21
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 15:21
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 15:22
SPEAKER_01: He should feel like he should feel like shit.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_01: And it's funny, when he goes to get his father, I feel like he's still angry at his father.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_01: So like like he seemed kind of resentful.
• 15:32
SPEAKER_01: He still had that anger, that resentment.
• 15:36
SPEAKER_01: And you would think after this whole scenario, like you like let it go.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_00: No, there's a lot of things you don't, you know, they don't So something happened between this incident and him and Sydney.
• 15:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like you don't know what happens between everything and what's like where the the not it's not hate 'cause I i I don't think he hates him.
• 16:00
  SPEAKER_01: It's like it's a love hate relationship.
• 16:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it's more it's more heavy resentment than it wasn't hate.
• 16:10
SPEAKER_00: You know, it's hard to you know, to hate someone that even though they the alcoholism and the the lack of either love or caring, you know, it you know, was still there for you in some way, shape or form.
• 16:27
  SPEAKER_00: You know.
• 16:27
SPEAKER_00: May may not always good, but still there.
• 16:59
SPEAKER_01: This this show is it it really makes people think about like their own like flaws and their own dynamics with their families, like, oh god.
• 17:10
SPEAKER_01: You watch TV to get away from real life.
• 17:13
SPEAKER_01: I think that's another reason this show kinda like, not I don't like it, it's just like it's just too much.
• 17:18
  SPEAKER_01: It's like, damn, I didn't want to I didn't want to I wanna watch TV.
• 17:22
SPEAKER_01: Right, I don't want to sit there and sit on a fucking couch and talk about and and figure out my my issues growing.
• 17:27
SPEAKER_01: I wanna fucking forget about things for a minute.
• 17:31
SPEAKER_01: I want that one hour to fuck about real life, but you know, it is it's right there in your face.
• 17:37
  SPEAKER_01: I think it's a it's very detailed, it's very in-depth detail.
• 17:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's very character-oriented show, like that's delving into like the depths of people's like humanity and how like you know, how easily certain things will will change the way somebody is, you know what I mean?
• 18:00
SPEAKER_00: When you look at Jack, when you look at Sawyer, you know, when you when you look at almost all of the main characters, what there's always that like one thing that that shapes who they are who who they become.
• 18:11
  SPEAKER_01: They're like real people.
• 18:12
  SPEAKER_01: They're not characters.
• 18:14
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 18:14
SPEAKER_01: They're like you know somebody like this, and it's so specific.
• 18:18
SPEAKER_01: Like, damn, that's so and so.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_01: Wait, that's so and so.
• 18:21
SPEAKER_01: Wait, how am I reacting to my friend and my cousin?
• 18:23
SPEAKER_01: Because this is how her is reacting to, like, yeah.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: It's basic human nature, honestly.
• 18:29
SPEAKER_01: I don't want shrink work when I'm watching TV.
• 18:31
  SPEAKER_01: I don't want like.
• 18:35
SPEAKER_00: But that's what that's why you have the show.
• 18:37
SPEAKER_01: That's why you have what?
• 18:38
SPEAKER_00: That's why you have this show.
• 18:40
  SPEAKER_00: You're doing shrink work.
• 18:43
SPEAKER_01: Not enough alcohol, let me tell you.
• 18:47
SPEAKER_04: Well, go get another bottle and pour up.
• 18:51
SPEAKER_01: And we need the whole liquor store.
• 18:53
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'm gonna have to do like an online order.
• 18:55
SPEAKER_01: The whole liquor store, please.
• 18:57
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
• 18:59
SPEAKER_01: This is one liquor store, and I can get like, what's like 80 proof?
• 19:03
SPEAKER_01: It's probably green alcohol, but I use it to make my paints for my decorating for the cakes and stuff.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_01: The high alcohol, it dries quicker.
• 19:13
  SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_01: So the guy, it was like 10 o'clock in the morning when I bought it, and the guy's looking at me like, the fuck?
• 19:20
  SPEAKER_01: Don't judge me.
• 19:21
  unknown: Right?
• 19:21
SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, okay, whatever.
• 19:22
SPEAKER_01: We had moonshine last night.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_01: See, that's so I get in the car and I'm actually Facebooking about the guy's reaction.
• 19:30
SPEAKER_01: So he's acting so as I'm in the car, he's like sweeping the non-existent dirt off the sidewalk, looking at me, like, is she gonna drink this shit in the car?
• 19:40
SPEAKER_01: Like, like he was really concerned about if I had like a serious problem.
• 19:44
SPEAKER_00: I've had I've had that happen where like I'll go buy like a case of beer like seven, eight o'clock in the morning, and they're like they'll look at you and it's like, just putting it in the cooler for the afternoon.
• 19:57
SPEAKER_01: Like it's just open this early.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_01: Don't judge me because I'm shopping this early.
• 20:01
SPEAKER_01: Like you can't get it both ways.
• 20:04
  SPEAKER_00: I don't care if it's Monday.
• 20:06
  SPEAKER_01: And so what?
• 20:06
SPEAKER_01: What if I worked all night?
• 20:08
SPEAKER_01: I work an overnight shift and I need to prep for my barbecue later on today.
• 20:12
  SPEAKER_01: Like, whatever.
• 20:12
SPEAKER_01: If you're open at 7 o'clock in the morning, don't judge a bitch for shopping 8 o'clock in the morning.
• 20:15
SPEAKER_04: No, I'm just saying, like, if you worked all night, it might be 7 o'clock in the morning.
• 20:19
  SPEAKER_04: But if it's 10 o'clock, if that's your cycle, then right.
• 20:23
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 20:23
  SPEAKER_01: It's whatever.
• 20:25
  SPEAKER_01: Back up off me.
• 20:27
SPEAKER_01: But the guy looks so concerned.
• 20:29
  SPEAKER_01: I feel like he's gonna call 8.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_01: Like, 88 just for me.
• 20:32
  SPEAKER_01: Like I mean, once I need a hug.
• 20:36
SPEAKER_01: Like, who the fuck's trying 80 proof?
• 20:39
  SPEAKER_01: Like shit.
• 20:41
SPEAKER_00: If you're swinging that at at 10 o'clock in the morning, that might be a problem.
• 20:48
  SPEAKER_00: As we drink.
• 20:49
  SPEAKER_04: As we drink.
• 20:50
  SPEAKER_04: As we drink.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_04: On the island, we meet Juliet.
• 20:55
SPEAKER_04: A woman is preparing to host a book club meeting at her house.
• 20:59
SPEAKER_04: Initially she plays some music, then looks at herself in a mirror.
• 21:03
SPEAKER_04: She seems upset, crying, and trying to keep her composure.
• 21:07
SPEAKER_04: The oven's timer goes off and she discovers the oven is billowing smoke.
• 21:11
  SPEAKER_04: Her muffins have burnt.
• 21:14
SPEAKER_04: She hurriedly takes them out.
• 21:16
  SPEAKER_04: Burning.
• 21:17
  SPEAKER_04: I feel funny.
• 21:18
  SPEAKER_04: Her muffins have burnt.
• 21:19
SPEAKER_04: I didn't really see that it was I know.
• 21:21
SPEAKER_00: It was just the way it was said.
• 21:23
  SPEAKER_00: Her muffins have burnt.
• 21:26
  SPEAKER_04: The doorbell rings.
• 21:28
SPEAKER_04: There is a woman at the door.
• 21:30
SPEAKER_04: And outside, a man is working on the plumbing, and the two women go inside.
• 21:35
SPEAKER_04: Later, the book club meets.
• 21:36
SPEAKER_04: The book being discussed is Carrie by Stephen King.
• 21:40
SPEAKER_04: A man named Adam complains about the woman, now identified as Juliet, choice of book, and remarks that Ben wouldn't read it even in the bathroom.
• 21:49
SPEAKER_04: She argues with Adam that it's her favorite book, stating, Here I am thinking that free will still actually exist.
• 21:56
SPEAKER_04: And she is interrupted by a rumbling like an earthquake, shaking the house.
• 22:01
SPEAKER_04: Everyone quickly gets into the doorways.
• 22:04
SPEAKER_04: After it ends, they run outside, and we see that the house seems to be in a cul-de-sac community.
• 22:12
SPEAKER_04: The man repairing the plumbing stands up, revealing that it is Ethan.
• 22:17
  SPEAKER_04: You remember Ethan, right?
• 22:18
  SPEAKER_04: Ethan.
• 22:18
  SPEAKER_01: I remember Ethan.
• 22:20
SPEAKER_04: The man who claimed to be Henry Gale exits another house nearby, troubled.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_04: While everyone else is looking around, he looks up.
• 22:29
SPEAKER_04: The other people follow his gaze and see the mid-air breakup and then crash of Oceanic A15.
• 22:36
SPEAKER_04: The tail going off in one direction and the fuselage in another.
• 22:40
SPEAKER_04: The fake Henry Gale tells Ethan Rum and Goodwin to each go to one of the crash sites.
• 22:46
SPEAKER_04: They are both instructed to act as surviv What?
• 22:53
SPEAKER_01: What are you laughing at?
• 22:56
SPEAKER_01: She said I'll take it out.
• 22:57
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 22:58
SPEAKER_01: I just don't think anytime you say anything, I think the fact that Alex is with us will take it to a whole new level.
• 23:06
  SPEAKER_00: You know what?
• 23:07
  SPEAKER_00: You wanna laugh?
• 23:08
SPEAKER_00: I was actually I had an itch on my thigh, and I was like, should I pull it out?
• 23:14
SPEAKER_01: See, I was just channeling his thoughts.
• 23:18
  SPEAKER_01: You read my mind.
• 23:20
  SPEAKER_00: Literally.
• 23:22
  SPEAKER_01: I really did.
• 23:23
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 23:24
SPEAKER_01: I just know you so well.
• 23:26
SPEAKER_00: I was like, should I pull it out to distract her, see what she does?
• 23:28
  SPEAKER_01: Did it distract me?
• 23:30
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 23:30
  SPEAKER_01: I can't see.
• 23:32
  SPEAKER_01: Oh.
• 23:32
SPEAKER_00: Oh well you I've seen it.
• 23:38
  SPEAKER_01: So has Facebook.
• 23:41
  SPEAKER_04: Facebook has seen it.
• 23:47
SPEAKER_04: She's gotta go in an hour.
• 23:55
  SPEAKER_00: She's not gonna stop.
• 23:57
  SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
• 23:59
SPEAKER_01: I was fine to you said that.
• 24:01
  SPEAKER_01: I just triggered it.
• 24:02
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm done.
• 24:08
SPEAKER_04: They are both instructed to act as survivors in shock.
• 24:11
SPEAKER_04: They must come up with an adequate story if they are asked, but stay quiet if they aren't.
• 24:17
SPEAKER_04: He tells them, listen, learn, don't get involved.
• 24:21
SPEAKER_04: They also must provide him with a list in three days.
• 24:25
  SPEAKER_04: They both run.
• 24:26
SPEAKER_04: The fake Henry now comes closer to Juliet, who is still holding the book.
• 24:31
SPEAKER_04: So I guess I'm out of the book club.
• 24:34
SPEAKER_04: A white dove flies away from the community of houses in a clearing in the jungle in what may be an ancient caldera.
• 24:42
SPEAKER_04: Shots zoom out to reveal that the houses are situated near the center of the island.
• 24:47
SPEAKER_04: So this is the second season premiere now.
• 24:52
SPEAKER_04: Cause season two and now season three, where it starts off and you think, oh, where are we?
• 24:58
SPEAKER_04: And sure enough, you're on the island.
• 25:01
SPEAKER_01: And I want to know where the fucking houses are now.
• 25:04
SPEAKER_01: Are they still living in the houses?
• 25:06
SPEAKER_01: Like, because they seem kind of cozy comfy.
• 25:09
  SPEAKER_01: I'm just curious.
• 25:10
SPEAKER_01: And not at all primitive.
• 25:12
  unknown: No.
• 25:13
  SPEAKER_00: Not in the least.
• 25:14
SPEAKER_01: To be quite honest with you, I kinda knew like based on the the makeup, like the like the the makeup kid with the head, we kinda already figured out that the situation wasn't primitive to begin with.
• 25:30
SPEAKER_01: Like they had whatever vaccines they had, like we knew it wasn't primitive to begin with.
• 25:37
SPEAKER_01: But to the extent of how situated they were, mind blown.
• 25:42
  SPEAKER_04: Like what?
• 25:43
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they got houses, C V players, ovens, book clubs.
• 25:47
SPEAKER_01: Like, did you s did you listen to that podcast, Limetown?
• 25:51
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 25:52
SPEAKER_01: This reminded me of Limetown, like the whole little town, but it's not like a little something.
• 25:56
SPEAKER_01: I was like, what the hell?
• 25:57
  SPEAKER_01: We got Limetime.
• 25:59
SPEAKER_01: Like, was Limetown based on this in a way?
• 26:01
  SPEAKER_01: But it would yeah.
• 26:02
SPEAKER_01: I might listen to that again.
• 26:03
SPEAKER_01: That was pretty damn good.
• 26:06
  unknown: Okay.
• 26:07
SPEAKER_04: Jack wakes up in a holding cell.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_04: He sees chains across the ceiling.
• 26:13
SPEAKER_04: He seems to be on some kind of table.
• 26:15
SPEAKER_04: He looks at the inside of his elbow, which has a band-aid on it where something had been injected or blood given.
• 26:22
SPEAKER_04: He tries to open some kind of hatch or door, but it's locked.
• 26:26
SPEAKER_04: Some kind of electronic device used to communicate is on the wall, but it does not seem to work.
• 26:31
SPEAKER_04: Jack sees another door on the opposite side of the room, but when he walks toward it, he collides with the glass wall blocking his way.
• 26:38
SPEAKER_04: Water is dripping from the ceiling.
• 26:41
SPEAKER_04: Jack tries to break the glass unsuccessfully.
• 26:44
SPEAKER_04: He shouts for Kate, but there's no reply.
• 26:47
SPEAKER_04: Kate wakes up in a bathroom with Tom standing over her.
• 26:51
SPEAKER_04: He indicates a clean towel, a new bottle of shampoo, and an unwrapped bar of soap, and tells her to take a nice hot shower.
• 26:59
SPEAKER_04: She refuses to shower in his presence, but Tom laughs and tells her she's not his type, and then leaves.
• 27:06
SPEAKER_04: Kate sees that she too has a band-aid on her arm.
• 27:12
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer wakes in an outdoor cell resembling a zoo cage.
• 27:16
SPEAKER_04: He looks around and sees speakers and a big tube with an unknown Dharma logo on it.
• 27:23
SPEAKER_04: Also, he notices other nearby structures, including a cage similar to his with a man inside it.
• 27:30
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer tries to get answers from him, but the man does not respond.
• 27:34
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer looks around his cage for some more.
• 27:37
  SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
• 27:38
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer looks around his cage some more and sees a strange contraption button.
• 27:43
SPEAKER_04: Stop playing with your dick.
• 27:47
SPEAKER_00: I was just fixing my boxes.
• 27:51
  SPEAKER_00: Jesus.
• 27:52
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer looks around his cage some more and sees a strange contraption inside that has a large button with a knife and a fork paint painted on it.
• 28:02
SPEAKER_04: He tries to figure it out and pushes the button.
• 28:05
SPEAKER_04: A warning sound goes off.
• 28:08
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer pushes the button again, the same sound goes off.
• 28:11
SPEAKER_04: As he is about to push the button for a third time, the prisoner in the cell opposite warns him not to.
• 28:18
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer pushes the button anyway and receives a painful electric shock.
• 28:23
SPEAKER_04: That should send him clear across the cage.
• 28:25
SPEAKER_01: I feel soccer, my man.
• 28:26
SPEAKER_04: And then we got a little son of a bitch.
• 28:32
  SPEAKER_04: I like him.
• 28:33
  SPEAKER_04: Shut up.
• 28:34
  SPEAKER_04: Stop hating.
• 28:37
SPEAKER_04: In his cell, Jack notices a security camera.
• 28:42
SPEAKER_04: He begins struggling with some chains hanging from the ceiling, but then Juliet walks into the room on the other side of the glass, telling him to stop.
• 28:50
SPEAKER_04: She knows his name and she introduces herself as Juliet.
• 28:54
SPEAKER_04: Jack continues to tug on the chains.
• 28:57
SPEAKER_04: He becomes angry as he wants to know where his friends are.
• 29:00
SPEAKER_04: She says she will tell him as soon as he lets go of the chains, but he doesn't believe her and continues to work with the chains.
• 29:08
  SPEAKER_04: Kate takes a shower.
• 29:10
SPEAKER_04: When she emerges, she finds that someone has taken her clothes and left her address instead.
• 29:15
SPEAKER_04: She puts it on reluctantly.
• 29:18
SPEAKER_04: Tom and three others bring her to a beach where Henry is waiting at a cover table with chairs.
• 29:26
  SPEAKER_04: Freshly filled sorry.
• 29:31
  SPEAKER_00: Take another drink.
• 29:32
  SPEAKER_01: We're very similar.
• 29:34
SPEAKER_01: Can we tell you you're too sober?
• 29:36
  SPEAKER_01: Drink it up again.
• 29:38
SPEAKER_04: She puts it on reluctantly, and Tom and three others bring her to a beach where Henry is waiting at a covered table with chairs, freshly cooked food, utensils, and coffee.
• 29:50
SPEAKER_04: With a pair of handcuffs on the side.
• 29:53
  SPEAKER_00: Sounds like a party.
• 29:55
SPEAKER_04: She had bacon and eggs and coffee.
• 29:58
SPEAKER_04: I put those handcuffs on me, do whatever you want.
• 30:01
SPEAKER_01: Do you know well, the handcuffs alone?
• 30:03
  SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'm down.
• 30:04
SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, today is National Bacon Day.
• 30:07
  SPEAKER_04: Is it?
• 30:08
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 30:08
SPEAKER_00: Go make me some bacon.
• 30:10
SPEAKER_04: I'm about to go kill that fried chicken.
• 30:15
SPEAKER_04: Crown fried chicken last night at like one o'clock in the morning.
• 30:20
SPEAKER_01: Food after alcohol is the best ever.
• 30:23
SPEAKER_01: Especially like ghetto ass chicken.
• 30:28
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was literally sucked, like I eat fried chicken, like the bones, suck the bump, suck the marrow out.
• 30:34
SPEAKER_01: Like, listen, I go down on some chicken.
• 30:37
SPEAKER_01: That's why I have my head blocking, because I'm like, I already know.
• 30:41
SPEAKER_00: That's like we told the girls, the girls are still up there.
• 30:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, you want some hood chicken?
• 30:44
  SPEAKER_00: Huh?
• 30:45
  SPEAKER_00: It's like it's good chicken, don't worry, it's hood chicken.
• 30:48
  SPEAKER_01: What have you done?
• 30:49
  SPEAKER_01: Where'd you go wrong?
• 30:50
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 30:50
  SPEAKER_01: They don't.
• 30:51
SPEAKER_00: They live in Staten Island.
• 30:52
SPEAKER_00: What do you want to do?
• 30:54
SPEAKER_00: There's no there's no real hood chicken out here.
• 30:56
  SPEAKER_01: Well, there is.
• 30:57
SPEAKER_01: It's better than fucking Wisconsin, okay?
• 30:59
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
• 31:00
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 31:02
  SPEAKER_00: Wisconsin?
• 31:04
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 31:06
SPEAKER_04: He sh he tells her to handcuff herself or she gets no coffee.
• 31:11
  SPEAKER_04: Oof.
• 31:15
SPEAKER_04: She asks, what did you do with Sawyer and Jack?
• 31:18
SPEAKER_04: But Henry notices that she started the question with Sawyer and not Jack.
• 31:23
SPEAKER_04: Kate asks for her clothes and he tells her that they burned them.
• 31:27
SPEAKER_04: When she asks why he's doing all this, he responds that he gave her a dress to make her feel like a lady, fresh food to make her feel at home, and allowed her a view of the beach because her friends are seeing the same beach and utensils to make her feel civilized.
• 31:43
SPEAKER_04: He tells Kate that he gave her all those things so that she'll have something to hold on to because the next two weeks will be very unpleasant.
• 31:50
SPEAKER_04: What do you think they they have planned for her in the next two weeks?
• 31:53
SPEAKER_01: If she's lucky, more handcuffs.
• 31:57
  SPEAKER_04: Some uh Jamar's exploitation.
• 32:01
  SPEAKER_01: Something like that.
• 32:03
SPEAKER_01: Um by this point, I mean actually way before this point, like I've already decided that everything they're doing, they're doing different methods of mind control, behavior training of some sort, anyway.
• 32:19
SPEAKER_01: So I really didn't take account like what two weeks is gonna what they're gonna do to her or not.
• 32:23
SPEAKER_01: I think I think that was irrelevant.
• 32:25
SPEAKER_00: Well, because if you if you look at it, look at look at what they did.
• 32:28
SPEAKER_00: They imprisoned each of them on their personality traits.
• 32:33
SPEAKER_00: Uh isolation for Jack, imprisonment for Sawyer, uh uh a momentary glimpse of freedom for for Kate.
• 32:45
  SPEAKER_03: Ah, but handcuffs.
• 32:48
SPEAKER_00: Again, but she got the hot shower.
• 32:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but she also got the handcuffs and listen, she got bacon.
• 32:55
SPEAKER_04: But we know how she feels about the handcuffs.
• 32:58
  SPEAKER_00: That's why it was like it's it's a it was a lead-in.
• 33:01
SPEAKER_00: It was like false, false freedom, like false, you know, you can oh, you can take a hot shower, you can put on a pretty dress, even though she doesn't care about dresses to begin with.
• 33:11
SPEAKER_00: But like, and then it's like there's coffee, and one of her things has been coffee.
• 33:16
SPEAKER_00: So it's like they know what they're doing to these people.
• 33:19
SPEAKER_04: Well, and and not just Sawyer in a cage, but with a psychological you know, aspect of it of getting of of figuring it out, you know, how to get the fish biscuit in the water.
• 33:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, cage it cage didn't have that shit, so they all have very different and then between that and whatever ejections they were given, I was like, okay, this is some kind of experiment, mind control, behavior, training, got it, let's move on.
• 33:49
  SPEAKER_04: We didn't even see Sawyer's arm.
• 33:53
SPEAKER_04: But I mean he had long sleeves.
• 33:56
SPEAKER_04: I don't remember seeing if he had a yeah.
• 33:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we saw that they all had injections.
• 34:01
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 34:02
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I didn't I just didn't notice him on Sawyer, but and even still, even uh with the the whole thing with the guy across the cage, that letting him go and then being caught, I felt like that was staged to begin with.
• 34:13
SPEAKER_01: Like everything they do has been staged.
• 34:15
  SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
• 34:17
SPEAKER_01: I think another thing about this episode, it wasn't um was it a lot of like, oh, that's interesting.
• 34:24
SPEAKER_01: It's coming like, oh, yeah we get the point.
• 34:26
  SPEAKER_01: Can we move on?
• 34:27
SPEAKER_01: Like, can we go into the next like next episode?
• 34:29
  SPEAKER_00: There was nothing revealing.
• 34:31
SPEAKER_00: There was nothing other than the the biggest reveal was the beginning of the episode, which was how the others were living.
• 34:38
SPEAKER_00: And like basically they were living in the suburbs.
• 34:43
  SPEAKER_00: Just chilling.
• 34:46
SPEAKER_01: But you could tell that they like each other.
• 34:48
SPEAKER_00: Well, you you can already see from the from the from the get that um Juliet and and Ben are that that's that's probably the power struggle right there.
• 34:58
SPEAKER_01: So I think there was a relationship.
• 35:00
SPEAKER_01: I think they were in a relationship at some point.
• 35:02
  SPEAKER_01: There's a relationship between those two.
• 35:04
SPEAKER_00: Well, it could be just a r like a relationship in the sense of the community.
• 35:10
  SPEAKER_00: Like she's a leader and he's a lead like and he's the leader.
• 35:14
SPEAKER_01: It's something like when they when the other guy was like, Ben want to read this, and they were like the man in the book club anymore.
• 35:20
SPEAKER_01: That was like, oh, it's a formal like I got and that was like that's a formal relationship.
• 35:24
SPEAKER_01: That's the way they should have gone bad.
• 35:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I didn't even think about it like that.
• 35:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 35:31
  SPEAKER_01: I played a lot of those, that's why.
• 35:37
SPEAKER_04: Back at Jack's cell, water is dripping down, and Jack tries to drink it, but it's not drinkable.
• 35:43
SPEAKER_04: Static is then heard coming from the communication panel on the wall, then whispers, followed by the voice of Jack's father saying, Let it go.
• 35:52
SPEAKER_04: Light suddenly is switched on and Juliet has food for him, with the water bottle with the unidentified line logo on it.
• 36:01
SPEAKER_04: Juliet tells Jack that she wants to give him the food, but he must move away from the door.
• 36:07
SPEAKER_04: He refuses and tells her to tell the man on the intercom to stop trying to communicate, but Juliette tells him that the intercom has not worked in years.
• 36:16
SPEAKER_04: Jack notices a yellow button behind her and asks what it's for, to which she replies for emergencies.
• 36:24
SPEAKER_04: When Juliet asks what Jack does in real life, he says he is a repo man.
• 36:30
SPEAKER_04: He also lies about his marriage.
• 36:33
SPEAKER_04: But when she asks him where his plane came from, he tells the truth.
• 36:37
  SPEAKER_04: Sydney.
• 36:38
SPEAKER_04: He also tells her about why he was on the plane, and she says to him that he can trust her, but Jack still won't budge, so Juliet leaves, eating the sandwich on her way out.
• 36:49
SPEAKER_04: In Sawyer's cage, he attempts to puzzle out how the food dispenser works.
• 36:54
SPEAKER_04: The other prisoner starts to ask him some questions about the location of the survivor's camp, how long it would take to go there, and the people from the plane.
• 37:06
SPEAKER_00: Why are you asking about the plane and the and the and the people and everything?
• 37:11
SPEAKER_04: Why can't he just be curious?
• 37:14
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 37:15
  SPEAKER_00: It's not.
• 37:17
SPEAKER_00: It's just too it's just too clear.
• 37:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 37:22
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, suit yourself.
• 37:26
  SPEAKER_00: I will.
• 37:27
SPEAKER_04: He then picks his lock, calling an alarm to go off, and then he picks Sawyer's lock and tells him to run the opposite way.
• 37:35
SPEAKER_04: He does, but Juliet finds him and tasers him in the neck.
• 37:40
SPEAKER_01: Something with the way you said it that he picks Sawyer's lock.
• 37:42
SPEAKER_01: I just don't really suggest it to me.
• 37:45
  unknown: I don't know.
• 37:46
SPEAKER_04: Your volume is so low again.
• 37:49
SPEAKER_00: I think you need to stick it in a little bit more.
• 37:52
  SPEAKER_00: The headphone jack.
• 37:55
  SPEAKER_01: Alright, what about now?
• 37:56
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 37:57
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, see?
• 37:57
SPEAKER_00: Told you you have to stick it in more.
• 38:00
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes you get if you have that extra inch, that's all it takes.
• 38:06
SPEAKER_01: I'm keeping my mouth shut because it's got it.
• 38:09
SPEAKER_00: No, that's not when you have that extra inch you can't.
• 38:12
  SPEAKER_00: Alright, come on.
• 38:15
SPEAKER_04: Sawyer is returned to his cell and the other prisoner, Carl, badly beaten, is forced to apologize for asking him to help with the escape.
• 38:26
SPEAKER_04: In Jack's cell, Juliet convinces him that he needs to eat and drink, as the drugs they gave him have side effects, including dehydration.
• 38:35
SPEAKER_04: Jack asks if she's a doctor, and her reaction seems to confirm this, because she tells him she's a repo woman.
• 38:43
SPEAKER_04: Jack finally agrees to the food, but when she enters the tray with the tray, he attacks her.
• 38:49
SPEAKER_04: He removes her taser and drags her out into the hallway.
• 38:53
SPEAKER_04: Henry appears, and Jack threatens to kill Juliet if she doesn't open the door.
• 38:59
SPEAKER_04: He says he might as well kill her because if she opens the door, they'll all die anyway.
• 39:04
SPEAKER_04: Jack shoves her away and quickly tries to open the hatch door.
• 39:08
SPEAKER_04: Henry runs out of the other door, closing it on Juliet, now trapped with Jack.
• 39:13
SPEAKER_04: Jack opens the first door which pours water into the hallway.
• 39:17
SPEAKER_04: He and Juliet manage to close the door and Juliet tells Jack to push the yellow button.
• 39:22
SPEAKER_04: But when Jack turns, Juliet knocks him out.
• 39:25
SPEAKER_00: That was far too easy.
• 39:27
SPEAKER_00: Like she didn't even have to.
• 39:28
  SPEAKER_00: How do you know?
• 39:29
SPEAKER_04: Maybe she's like train like black belt.
• 39:37
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 39:39
SPEAKER_00: Like she had something in her hand.
• 39:42
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
• 39:43
SPEAKER_01: To be fair, it seems that they already know who these people are.
• 39:49
SPEAKER_01: And I think they knew he was gonna do it anyway.
• 39:52
SPEAKER_01: So I guess I think they were prepared within like kind of like meant to prepare for him going.
• 39:57
SPEAKER_01: He's gonna open the door.
• 39:58
SPEAKER_01: So let's prepare for what we're gonna do, how we're gonna work it out, what's gonna happen.
• 40:05
SPEAKER_04: Jack Jack has tunnel vision.
• 40:06
SPEAKER_04: Like whatever it is that Jack wants to do, that's his only goal.
• 40:10
  SPEAKER_01: He's very predictable.
• 40:11
SPEAKER_01: I mean, most people are predictable to begin with, with beef.
• 40:14
SPEAKER_01: So and as we see as you go on, they know them way better than they think they know them.
• 40:25
SPEAKER_04: After some experimentation and with the help of a large rock Sawyer found outside his cell, he soon figures out the mechanism that delivers food and water.
• 40:34
SPEAKER_04: The water streams out of a pipe into a trough, and Kibble falls on the ground as well as a large fish biscuit with the word dharma on it.
• 40:44
  SPEAKER_04: Animal food.
• 40:46
SPEAKER_04: As Sawyer drinks the water, so they're treating Sawyer like an animal.
• 40:52
SPEAKER_04: As Sawyer drinks the water, Tom puts Kate into the cell that current had occupied.
• 40:59
SPEAKER_04: He takes off her cuffs.
• 41:01
SPEAKER_04: She also has visible cuffs from the handcuffs, and Tom remarks, Cut you up pretty bad, didn't they?
• 41:07
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah they did.
• 41:09
SPEAKER_04: And but he offers to bring her an aiseptic.
• 41:12
SPEAKER_04: Tom, noticing that Sawyer was able to obtain food, first congratulates him, then mocks him by telling him that the bears figured it out in two hours.
• 41:21
SPEAKER_04: Kate is in the cell across from Sawyer's and he tries to make her feel better by joking around.
• 41:27
SPEAKER_04: She seems distraught, so Sawyer asks if she wants something to eat.
• 41:31
  SPEAKER_04: She says yes.
• 41:32
SPEAKER_04: So Sawyer throws her the fish biscuit, which she eats pitifully.
• 41:37
SPEAKER_04: And didn't she just have a whole fucking breakfast?
• 41:40
SPEAKER_04: Now she's eating his his fish biscuit?
• 41:43
SPEAKER_04: But does she eat it though?
• 41:45
SPEAKER_04: Well she's an idiot if she didn't.
• 41:46
  SPEAKER_01: I mean That's what I'm saying.
• 41:48
  SPEAKER_01: Like it's bacon.
• 41:50
SPEAKER_01: You can draw like at this point, it is what it is.
• 41:53
SPEAKER_01: They're gonna do whatever they're gonna do to you.
• 41:54
SPEAKER_01: If the bacon is laced or drawn to whatever, it's bacon.
• 41:58
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 42:00
  SPEAKER_01: Bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon.
• 42:02
  SPEAKER_01: I can't read.
• 42:07
SPEAKER_00: That's the first thing I I thought about when I heard when I heard bacon.
• 42:11
  SPEAKER_00: That stupid dog.
• 42:12
SPEAKER_01: That commercial, that's like the best commercial ever.
• 42:18
SPEAKER_04: Jack is back in the cell, which he concludes was an aquarium for dolphins and sharks.
• 42:24
  SPEAKER_04: They are underwater.
• 42:26
SPEAKER_04: It is a Dharma station called the Hydra.
• 42:29
SPEAKER_04: Jack says that the others are just what What's left over?
• 42:33
SPEAKER_04: Jack says that the others are just what's left of them, and Juliet replies, That was a long time ago.
• 42:39
SPEAKER_04: It doesn't matter who we were.
• 42:42
SPEAKER_04: She reveals she knows much about Jack.
• 42:45
SPEAKER_04: She produces a stack of documents several inches thick and reveals that she has a copy of his father's autopsy report, his divorce records, information on his friends and family, etc This, Jack, is your life, says Juliet.
• 43:03
SPEAKER_04: Jack wants to know something, and Juliet asks him what it is.
• 43:08
SPEAKER_04: Painfully, Jack asks if I'm sorry, it's pathetic.
• 43:13
SPEAKER_00: It's just like and the whole episode led to this one.
• 43:18
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 43:19
SPEAKER_04: He asks if his ex ex uh he asks if his ex-wife is happy rather than who she left him for, and Juliet says she is.
• 43:40
SPEAKER_04: Like, do you think he was crying because she's happy?
• 43:43
SPEAKER_04: Because like she's happier without him and she's actually happy, or because like he's happy and she's happy.
• 43:50
  SPEAKER_01: I think it's I think I think it was relief.
• 43:52
  SPEAKER_01: I don't think he's a malicious person.
• 43:54
SPEAKER_01: Um this whole fucking episode drove me crazy.
• 43:57
SPEAKER_00: I it was like it was just it was just too boring.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was too character driven and too like almost like it was a psychologic psychological torture for for for the people watching.
• 44:15
SPEAKER_00: Like I don't mind I I I want you know, you want to have that character, you know, depth.
• 44:21
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 44:21
SPEAKER_04: But it's I don't mind that, but it was just like really, really.
• 44:25
SPEAKER_04: Only survivors that we've even seen are these three.
• 44:30
SPEAKER_04: You know, we don't we still don't even know what happened with Saeed, Son and Jen on the boat.
• 44:36
SPEAKER_04: Are we going to that next week, please?
• 44:37
  SPEAKER_04: Please.
• 44:38
SPEAKER_04: We don't know what happened with any of the other ones.
• 44:42
SPEAKER_04: You know I'm not gonna answer to your question.
• 44:44
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 44:44
SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna just watch two or three episodes in a row.
• 44:47
  SPEAKER_04: Shut up.
• 44:48
SPEAKER_04: And just just call me Ben because I'm gonna answer I'm gonna answer your question with another question.
• 44:53
SPEAKER_00: Sh so did you did you think that they put her in there because she you know, she kind of resembled his ex?
• 45:01
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I've been think about that.
• 45:03
SPEAKER_01: Because you know the whole thing, like all white people look alike and all black people look alike, and all you know, so I was like a lot.
• 45:11
SPEAKER_04: Juliet and Sarah do not do favor each other a bit.
• 45:15
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 45:15
  SPEAKER_04: A bit.
• 45:16
SPEAKER_00: I mean Plus it's he has a he has a thing for pretty women just to begin with.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_00: He he'll bend over for them, I'll be like apparently.
• 45:30
SPEAKER_01: Like, you need me more than I need you, kind of shit.
• 45:34
SPEAKER_00: No, I think that was just that was just with uh Kate.
• 45:38
SPEAKER_01: And he got and I think that's another reason he's so like he's resentful of Kate because she doesn't need him.
• 45:46
SPEAKER_00: Well you saw he asked for her, he asked for her, never asked for Sawyer or anybody else.
• 45:52
SPEAKER_01: But he still feels like I am man, you need me.
• 45:55
SPEAKER_01: But like having it's still like the duality of those emotions.
• 45:58
SPEAKER_04: Um Well, and the fact but that plays off of the fact that Jack asked for Kate, and when Kate asked about Sawyer and Jack Sawyer first.
• 46:08
SPEAKER_01: But at least he asked for both of them.
• 46:10
SPEAKER_00: Well But I don't I don't know if I'm her tone for w the way she said Sawyer gave her like gave her a way that her concern was more Right.
• 46:20
SPEAKER_00: Like Jack was an afterthought.
• 46:22
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 46:23
SPEAKER_04: And and that's that's that was my point.
• 46:25
SPEAKER_04: That she asked for him second, and Kate was the only one that Jack even asked about, and so they don't keep each other in the same regard.
• 46:35
SPEAKER_00: And sorry they didn't ask about anybody.
• 46:37
  SPEAKER_04: Anybody.
• 46:37
SPEAKER_04: But then he asked about no, he didn't.
• 46:39
SPEAKER_01: She's like Um I think the mo the biggest thing I took out of this episode was the fact they know so much about them that things that they never like their recognizant work would never have gotten that kind of information.
• 46:55
SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, with them sitting there Do you think that you and I can't pull files like that from the internet?
• 47:00
SPEAKER_00: Not not that in there.
• 47:03
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 47:04
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know about these people.
• 47:06
SPEAKER_04: I don't know, like I don't know, something is just wasn't it was in the last episode, remember when we met Penny and she said uh something like with the right amount of money you could find anyone?
• 47:20
  SPEAKER_00: Well that's no boy, that's true.
• 47:22
SPEAKER_00: If you're talking about and we don't know what the Dharma initiative or what their they are what they are or what their what what their affiliation is.
• 47:30
SPEAKER_00: So they may have, you know, uh they may have access, their computers may have access to that.
• 47:36
SPEAKER_00: But you know, regardless of that, they they have in What year was this made again?
• 47:43
SPEAKER_04: The episode is supposed to take place in 2004.
• 47:49
SPEAKER_04: It's 2004 on the island, but this episode is was actually made in 2006.
• 47:58
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 47:59
SPEAKER_04: Um I mean we did have internet back then.
• 48:02
SPEAKER_01: I know, I'm just I mean no, I'm just trying to figure out something else.
• 48:06
  SPEAKER_01: I so but that's too logical.
• 48:09
  SPEAKER_01: Lost is illogical.
• 48:11
SPEAKER_01: Like it's logic within the illogic.
• 48:14
SPEAKER_01: So remember I told you that I think they're all dead.
• 48:16
SPEAKER_00: Maybe um This is your life.
• 48:22
SPEAKER_01: Maybe they knew like they were expecting them to come.
• 48:26
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 48:28
  SPEAKER_01: They're they're they're time travelers.
• 48:30
  SPEAKER_01: I don't fucking know.
• 48:32
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, but Twilight Zone.
• 48:34
SPEAKER_01: Um the plane crashed into a time warp.
• 48:37
SPEAKER_01: And that's what caused the crash.
• 48:39
SPEAKER_01: That's what caused them to break up.
• 48:41
SPEAKER_00: Well, even when you think about it, you're often drunk enough.
• 48:44
SPEAKER_00: What's what was the point?
• 48:46
SPEAKER_00: Like, the plane wasn't over the the town like the the town, I guess.
• 48:52
  SPEAKER_00: But the place shook.
• 48:53
SPEAKER_00: Why did the place sh shake when the plane wasn't even that low to cause that kind of turbulence?
• 49:01
SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you can see it, it actually was low enough to cause a sh a it was low enough to cause light clipping to shake.
• 49:09
  SPEAKER_01: The shake.
• 49:10
  SPEAKER_01: I think that's a good point.
• 49:11
SPEAKER_01: But also, but you know what?
• 49:12
SPEAKER_01: The the the the the magnetic thing caused it so I think it was it it in conjunction with the release of the magnetism thing that caused the explosion and also explosions in general, that plane was low enough for you to feel it.
• 49:30
SPEAKER_04: So if we go back to last episode, like the season two finale, and Desmond says, I think I crashed your plane.
• 49:40
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 49:40
SPEAKER_04: And we know that he was going to let what well They let the numbers run out and then the numbers ran out and and then he put them in, and we know that everything was kind of going haywire.
• 49:55
SPEAKER_00: So maybe that was his doing, like the shake was that, and then the effects of it was the plane going down while it was going over at the same moment in time.
• 50:03
SPEAKER_00: Because there's there was I don't think because you saw the the plane falling apart when they're all outside, not before.
• 50:21
SPEAKER_01: But like it I think it's a conjection of I I think it was a magnetism, but in theory, taking that aside, whatever caused the plane to break apart, like in the real world, it was low enough to cause a vibration.
• 50:35
  SPEAKER_01: Possibly.
• 50:37
SPEAKER_04: Probably so we also know now in the last episode when we don't know we still don't know what happened with the hatch.
• 50:47
  SPEAKER_01: We don't know what's that much?
• 50:48
  SPEAKER_01: We don't know.
• 50:49
SPEAKER_04: We don't know and we know that these three survived.
• 50:54
SPEAKER_04: We don't know about anyone else.
• 50:58
SPEAKER_04: So there's that the um in the hydra station when they talk about that they have are you texting each other?
• 51:08
SPEAKER_01: No, no, do you know in Hydra?
• 51:12
SPEAKER_01: Do you ever watch Ages of Shield?
• 51:14
SPEAKER_01: Like the Marvel, the Marvel, um you've seen Ages of Shields.
• 51:22
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 51:22
SPEAKER_01: Yes, and the bad guys, you have not seen like an episode.
• 51:28
SPEAKER_01: Love them, but the bad guys, like the the the the organization that's evil is Hydra.
• 51:34
SPEAKER_01: Um, so I completely connected those two because like are they really evil?
• 51:39
SPEAKER_01: And hydra's and in mythology, the hydra, like you cut his head off, it cut it.
• 51:44
  SPEAKER_01: It was just yeah.
• 51:45
SPEAKER_01: Well that was like the emblem for it.
• 51:47
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, I did.
• 51:49
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it'd kind of be stupid to have the Hydra not having a Hydra emblem.
• 51:52
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 51:53
SPEAKER_01: But um, I was like, oh, they're all evil, but they're not evil, but they are evil, who knows?
• 51:59
SPEAKER_04: But uh well, my point was just that they they mentioned the bears and we see the cages.
• 52:06
SPEAKER_01: So now we The polar bears.
• 52:08
SPEAKER_04: Now we kinda get a little bit of clarity on that.
• 52:11
SPEAKER_04: Like, well that might be why there are polar bears on this tropical island.
• 52:16
SPEAKER_04: It wasn't polar bear village.
• 52:19
  unknown: Nothing.
• 52:20
SPEAKER_04: And um, I mean maybe that's what they called it, you know.
• 52:24
SPEAKER_04: And and ironically now Sawyer is living in it.
• 52:28
  SPEAKER_01: I thought I didn't get that.
• 52:29
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's funny.
• 52:31
SPEAKER_04: And then in the season two premiere, we saw the shark with the Dharma logo on it.
• 52:37
  SPEAKER_04: I forgot about that.
• 52:39
SPEAKER_04: And Hydra has where they study sharks and dolphins.
• 52:44
  SPEAKER_00: Are your tassels ringing?
• 52:46
  SPEAKER_04: That's Gizmo.
• 52:47
  SPEAKER_00: Oh.
• 52:49
  SPEAKER_04: That's her kitty.
• 52:50
  SPEAKER_04: That's her kitty jingling.
• 52:52
  SPEAKER_00: It's your kitty jingling?
• 52:55
SPEAKER_01: It does jingle a lot.
• 52:59
SPEAKER_03: Beg it to be I don't I don't even know where that metaphor went.
• 53:02
SPEAKER_03: I'm just gonna let it go.
• 53:05
  SPEAKER_00: I know nothing.
• 53:06
  SPEAKER_04: You wanna do trivia?
• 53:08
  SPEAKER_04: Trivia, trivia, trivia.
• 53:12
SPEAKER_00: Well, but before you do trivia, what are your what are your um what are your thoughts on the episode in a hole like in in a hole?
• 53:20
SPEAKER_01: Other than it sucked balls, that's it.
• 53:22
SPEAKER_00: Other than it suck balls.
• 53:23
SPEAKER_00: Like do you did it give you anything you wanted or needed or No it didn't, not at all.
• 53:30
SPEAKER_01: It was like I think if it was an episode in the middle of the season, it would be okay.
• 53:36
SPEAKER_01: But like we said earlier, like season premiere, like you're killing me, smalls.
• 53:40
SPEAKER_00: Um probably should have looked up if there was a there was like uh like something going on that they put up such a lackluster uh season premiere.
• 53:49
SPEAKER_00: Like that's just you you'll turn people off with with like that kind of season.
• 53:53
SPEAKER_04: And this was actually the highest the highest rated episode of season three.
• 54:00
SPEAKER_01: Highest or just oh, because it had more people watching it, rated because of the stealership.
• 54:07
SPEAKER_01: Because you come into right.
• 54:08
SPEAKER_04: It was kind of the highest because then afterwards people are like, what the fuck is this shit?
• 54:12
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 54:13
SPEAKER_01: Let's find out next week what seas what episode two was like.
• 54:16
SPEAKER_01: Like, um, I kind of like I really wouldn't know about the others.
• 54:22
SPEAKER_01: That's I think only thing I want this season to bring me at the after this episode is more into poor the others and why they don't I probably it's still it's definitely a military government experimental process to begin with.
• 54:40
  SPEAKER_01: All the stuff stationary.
• 54:42
SPEAKER_01: I said military government kind of like whatever, like because they usually go hand in hand.
• 54:46
  SPEAKER_01: Let's be real.
• 54:47
SPEAKER_01: No, I know, but like, but military government, like well they had Did you see the hippies in the video?
• 54:56
SPEAKER_01: I s like the initial like this is like this is a military government brain shock.
• 55:05
SPEAKER_04: Or is it because it's something nefarious, so the government has to be behind it.
• 55:12
  SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
• 55:13
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 55:16
SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to put this into words.
• 55:19
SPEAKER_03: Maybe it should not before they come after us and start tapping our phones.
• 55:22
SPEAKER_01: Any experiment of this magnitude, like they're on an island, they have different substations.
• 55:27
SPEAKER_01: They got a a CIA black, the American I call him.
• 55:32
SPEAKER_01: They have people that we know are skilled.
• 55:40
SPEAKER_01: Um, so the magnitude of the operation, period.
• 55:44
  SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
• 55:45
SPEAKER_01: It just seems like it's more like definitely there there's a government entity involved.
• 55:50
SPEAKER_01: Somebody wants something from it.
• 55:52
SPEAKER_01: And then you have the whole mind control we have like the the different behavior control going on and the different tactics.
• 55:59
SPEAKER_01: Like a government wants information.
• 56:02
SPEAKER_01: They want to know it's it's military and g it's it's definitely military government scientist involved.
• 56:08
SPEAKER_01: It's it's too big for a government not to profit from it.
• 56:14
  SPEAKER_04: Hold that thought.
• 56:15
  SPEAKER_04: We're being nosy.
• 56:16
  SPEAKER_04: What happened?
• 56:17
  SPEAKER_00: I don't see nothing.
• 56:18
SPEAKER_04: Maybe the kid like slammed his hand in the door or something.
• 56:26
SPEAKER_04: That sounded like George's kids.
• 56:28
SPEAKER_00: That has to be those are the only kids on the left.
• 56:30
  SPEAKER_04: Oh.
• 56:36
SPEAKER_04: Well, I guess it could have been Tom's kids.
• 56:39
  SPEAKER_04: They're not there?
• 56:40
  unknown: George's kids.
• 56:40
  unknown: Who the hell?
• 56:41
  SPEAKER_04: George uh Nolates.
• 56:45
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I you know what?
• 56:47
  SPEAKER_00: I didn't even think about that.
• 56:48
SPEAKER_04: Who'd you who was it then?
• 56:49
  SPEAKER_00: Nobody.
• 56:50
SPEAKER_00: There was nobody out there.
• 56:52
SPEAKER_00: There's literally nobody out there.
• 56:54
SPEAKER_02: I just read your text.
• 57:02
SPEAKER_00: Uh oh, it's too late already.
• 57:06
  SPEAKER_05: What?
• 57:08
SPEAKER_00: The McDonald's, the chicken, the chicken biscuits.
• 57:12
  SPEAKER_04: Uh-oh.
• 57:12
  SPEAKER_04: Alright, come on.
• 57:14
  SPEAKER_04: I'm coming.
• 57:15
  SPEAKER_00: That's what she said.
• 57:17
SPEAKER_00: No, you don't say it.
• 57:18
  SPEAKER_00: You go.
• 57:22
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because you're you fucking loud, shut up.
• 57:24
SPEAKER_00: Because you all too fucking loud.
• 57:26
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well shut up.
• 57:30
SPEAKER_04: Sorry, I'll lay there like a fucking dead fish, and you won't hear shit.
• 57:34
SPEAKER_04: And then you'd be like, Well, you don't you don't like it?
• 57:36
  SPEAKER_04: Isn't that good?
• 57:38
SPEAKER_00: She's frozen, so we lost her.
• 57:39
  SPEAKER_04: She's not frozen.
• 57:40
  SPEAKER_00: Oh.
• 57:41
  SPEAKER_00: She's reading a text message.
• 57:44
  SPEAKER_01: Well she's writing one.
• 57:46
  SPEAKER_01: I just wrote one.
• 57:47
SPEAKER_01: No, I mean no, that was something else.
• 57:49
SPEAKER_01: Look if it's something else.
• 57:50
  SPEAKER_04: Oh.
• 57:51
  SPEAKER_04: Alright.
• 57:52
  SPEAKER_04: So yeah, possible.
• 57:56
  SPEAKER_04: So it never stopped.
• 57:59
  SPEAKER_04: So possible government something.
• 58:03
  SPEAKER_04: Gotcha.
• 58:04
SPEAKER_00: But still, even the I guess the only thing that's I guess worth n like noting is how the others work and they're obviously trying to give you a another power struggle between Ben and Juliet.
• 58:21
SPEAKER_00: Because you see even when Jack opens the hatch and everything, Ben runs out and locks her ass in there.
• 58:29
SPEAKER_00: So you don't know if that was on purpose or Ben just said, Yeah, fuck you.
• 58:34
SPEAKER_00: If you die, you die.
• 58:35
  SPEAKER_00: If you live.
• 58:36
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 58:36
  SPEAKER_00: You know?
• 58:38
SPEAKER_00: Because you see because you see when she walks out from from breaking Jack, because that was her job that was her job was to break Jack.
• 58:47
  SPEAKER_05: And he tells her.
• 58:49
SPEAKER_00: And he tells her, good job.
• 58:50
SPEAKER_00: You can see the look between her and and him, and it's just like she's like They tolerate each other.
• 58:56
SPEAKER_00: She's like, thank you, but she's like, motherfucker, you left me to die.
• 59:00
SPEAKER_00: If I would have died, you wouldn't have cared.
• 59:02
  SPEAKER_04: She said thank you.
• 59:03
SPEAKER_00: But she said she meant fuck you.
• 59:05
  SPEAKER_00: Fuck you.
• 59:07
SPEAKER_00: And you could see like you could see like it was that like uh yeah, I don't like no.
• 59:13
  SPEAKER_00: We're not good.
• 59:14
  SPEAKER_00: We're not cool.
• 59:15
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 59:16
  SPEAKER_01: Well, relationships go bad.
• 59:19
SPEAKER_01: You're stuck on the island with them.
• 59:22
SPEAKER_04: Why can't it just be a I mean, in any type of relationship?
• 59:28
SPEAKER_01: Like as as he's her so superior.
• 59:30
  SPEAKER_01: Any type of relationship.
• 59:31
  SPEAKER_01: It went bad.
• 59:32
SPEAKER_01: It's a bad like romantic, platonic business, co-work, whatever.
• 59:36
SPEAKER_01: It's a relationship that definitely went bad.
• 59:38
SPEAKER_01: I because obviously they're barking out orders.
• 59:40
SPEAKER_01: So he's definitely Told you he was a big kahuna-ish.
• 59:48
SPEAKER_01: Oh, here we go again.
• 59:49
  SPEAKER_01: I give up.
• 59:50
  SPEAKER_01: Stop.
• 59:51
SPEAKER_01: I fail the pop quiz again.
• 59:54
SPEAKER_04: Or maybe I'm just fucking with you.
• 59:57
  SPEAKER_04: Shut up.
• 59:59
  SPEAKER_04: Put your hand down.
• 1:00:03
SPEAKER_00: Alright, go to your go to your trivia.
• 1:00:08
SPEAKER_00: And see if I know it.
• 1:00:10
SPEAKER_01: See if it's a little bit more.
• 1:00:11
SPEAKER_01: It's more like just put it they're not questioning questions.
• 1:00:14
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I thought it was a question.
• 1:00:16
SPEAKER_01: Uh it's like, oh, did you know like Yeah.
• 1:00:19
SPEAKER_04: The nurse that speaks to Jack was the same one who checked up on Locke in Deus ex machina.
• 1:00:28
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like I remember that was.
• 1:00:33
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 1:00:34
SPEAKER_04: Like Latin for uh God.
• 1:00:37
  SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
• 1:00:40
SPEAKER_04: So what is Deus ex machina mean in Latin?
• 1:00:44
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 1:00:48
SPEAKER_05: I knew we were gonna say that.
• 1:00:53
  SPEAKER_04: Alright, shut up.
• 1:00:56
SPEAKER_04: According to the October 3rd, 2006 podcast, Damon Lindelof explained that the two cities refer to the two societies of the others and the survivors.
• 1:01:11
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, that makes sense.
• 1:01:14
  SPEAKER_00: So that was it?
• 1:01:16
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was it.
• 1:01:18
SPEAKER_01: Have we got into any past trivia that we can re about we can go back to?
• 1:01:24
SPEAKER_04: Well, because you said you didn't have a lot of time, so I didn't do it for today.
• 1:01:29
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:01:30
SPEAKER_00: So So this is your fault.
• 1:01:32
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:01:33
SPEAKER_00: The episode sucks, and the podcast is only good because I'm here.
• 1:01:38
  SPEAKER_04: Wow.
• 1:01:40
SPEAKER_04: So that sounds to me like you might have to be here every time.
• 1:01:43
  SPEAKER_00: No way.
• 1:01:43
  SPEAKER_04: I think so.
• 1:01:45
  SPEAKER_01: I think so.
• 1:01:47
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna tell him.
• 1:01:48
SPEAKER_01: Just for that, I'm not gonna tell them.
• 1:01:52
  SPEAKER_01: Yep.
• 1:01:53
SPEAKER_01: There's so much I want to tell you, Alex, but I refuse to now.
• 1:01:57
  SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you.
• 1:01:58
  SPEAKER_00: You're gonna tell me.
• 1:02:00
  SPEAKER_01: Nope.
• 1:02:00
SPEAKER_00: Don't make me get the handcuffs.
• 1:02:03
  SPEAKER_01: Promises, promises.
• 1:02:07
SPEAKER_01: What do you think of Juliet so far?
• 1:02:10
  SPEAKER_01: She's cool.
• 1:02:11
  SPEAKER_01: I'm I I think I might like her I I like her character thus far.
• 1:02:14
SPEAKER_01: I think she has a I'm looking forward to her flashback.
• 1:02:18
  SPEAKER_00: I ch I think there's a like I think they're gonna it just seems like there's gonna be a flip.
• 1:02:26
SPEAKER_00: Meaning like like she's her job was to break Jack, but I have a feeling like it's going to it's gonna have an adverse effect.
• 1:02:36
  SPEAKER_00: You know.
• 1:02:37
SPEAKER_01: She's like he was gonna break her back.
• 1:02:42
  SPEAKER_00: Listen, it's Jack.
• 1:02:43
SPEAKER_00: When you when you when it comes to Jack, it like that's it's kind of that way.
• 1:02:47
  SPEAKER_01: I don't say he could break anybody's back.
• 1:02:48
  SPEAKER_01: Like I don't see I don't think he'll break any I don't see on the other hand.
• 1:02:53
  SPEAKER_01: I can say Yeah.
• 1:02:54
SPEAKER_00: He'll break your back for about three seconds and then he's done.
• 1:02:59
SPEAKER_04: I mean, I'd like to test that theory.
• 1:03:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you would.
• 1:03:04
  unknown: Of course.
• 1:03:06
SPEAKER_00: That's the way you roll anyway.
• 1:03:07
SPEAKER_04: I think of anyone on that island.
• 1:03:10
SPEAKER_04: I have a s a degree in science, so if you have a hypothesis, I think it it deserves to be tested.
• 1:03:17
  SPEAKER_00: I have a degree in science.
• 1:03:20
  SPEAKER_04: I have a bachelor's of science.
• 1:03:22
SPEAKER_04: I think I should test that theory and just you know.
• 1:03:26
  SPEAKER_04: I concur.
• 1:03:28
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 1:03:29
SPEAKER_01: I mean, you can test it too.
• 1:03:31
SPEAKER_01: There's a control and then you have the variable.
• 1:03:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you definitely like he like Sawyer needs the control subject, and then we have the variable.
• 1:03:38
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I can I concur.
• 1:03:39
  SPEAKER_01: I really You're welcome.
• 1:03:46
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:03:47
  SPEAKER_00: This is quality content.
• 1:03:52
SPEAKER_04: Alright, so Josh Holloway, if uh if you want to get back into your Sawyer character and test out this theory, you just use our email address.
• 1:04:01
SPEAKER_00: You can have a two for one.
• 1:04:03
  SPEAKER_04: I mean anyway.
• 1:04:08
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, we met Juliet.
• 1:04:09
SPEAKER_04: We got Henry Gale's real name, which is Ben.
• 1:04:15
  SPEAKER_04: And what else?
• 1:04:19
  SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
• 1:04:19
  SPEAKER_00: That's it.
• 1:04:20
  SPEAKER_00: That's all you got.
• 1:04:20
  SPEAKER_00: The others exist.
• 1:04:22
SPEAKER_00: The others have a town.
• 1:04:23
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 1:04:24
  SPEAKER_01: That's a bill.
• 1:04:25
  unknown: Other veil.
• 1:04:29
SPEAKER_00: So you know the others have a town, and there's a bunch of them.
• 1:04:31
SPEAKER_00: You know that they were the ones that had the bears, and you know they have food, water, electricity, and that's it.
• 1:04:40
SPEAKER_00: And they and they have access to to all the information they want on whoever they want.
• 1:04:46
SPEAKER_00: That's what you got out of the episode.
• 1:04:48
  SPEAKER_01: Pretty much.
• 1:04:49
SPEAKER_00: And she may be a doctor, but she has to have a degree in some sort of psych you know, psychology or something because they're they definitely like.
• 1:04:59
SPEAKER_04: What do you think that they're up to?
• 1:05:02
SPEAKER_04: Do you have any like aside from the Dharma shit that you talked about with the like the the others as we see them?
• 1:05:10
SPEAKER_04: What do you think they're the purpose of?
• 1:05:13
  SPEAKER_01: I have absolutely no.
• 1:05:14
SPEAKER_01: I think okay, so they were studying animals of some level.
• 1:05:19
SPEAKER_04: Are you talking about the others or like Dharma or or or both?
• 1:05:23
SPEAKER_01: Like that they're kind of b I'm assuming that Dharma hired the others in some they're there for.
• 1:05:30
  SPEAKER_01: I don't think I don't know if they're Dharma.
• 1:05:33
SPEAKER_01: I think Ben might be Dharma, maybe.
• 1:05:36
SPEAKER_01: Anywho, I think the purpose of the island maybe, so in conjunction, both of them.
• 1:05:41
SPEAKER_01: So they're studying animals at some level, bears and aquariums and shit.
• 1:05:47
SPEAKER_01: They obviously have smoke monsters, the hurly bird.
• 1:05:50
  SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know.
• 1:05:51
SPEAKER_01: I definitely think um they definitely have the mental mind control s thing going on.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_01: Um, I think the whole island is an ex I think it's it I that's why I think it's just a military government ex I don't know.
• 1:06:10
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:06:11
SPEAKER_01: Think tank, so to speak.
• 1:06:12
  SPEAKER_01: A think tank like I don't know.
• 1:06:14
  SPEAKER_01: I really don't know.
• 1:06:15
SPEAKER_00: I from from coming off of this, it seems like whatever the experiment is, it's a failed it seems like it's a failed experiment and these people were just living.
• 1:06:25
SPEAKER_00: Like they're just living on a i if they're just because they can't get off the island.
• 1:06:30
SPEAKER_00: But if it was failed, would they still send them food?
• 1:06:34
SPEAKER_00: Well, you don't know how much how much supplies they have.
• 1:06:39
  SPEAKER_01: Or when it failed.
• 1:06:40
  SPEAKER_00: Or when it failed.
• 1:06:41
SPEAKER_01: But did something fall recently?
• 1:06:43
SPEAKER_01: Didn't they just have something fall?
• 1:06:46
SPEAKER_01: Since the since the survivors.
• 1:06:48
SPEAKER_01: So this I mean, I feel like Oh, we don't know what it.
• 1:06:51
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, fail, not fail.
• 1:06:53
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:06:53
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:06:54
  SPEAKER_00: Fail, yeah.
• 1:06:55
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:06:56
  SPEAKER_00: Failed.
• 1:06:57
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know if it's I don't know.
• 1:06:59
  SPEAKER_01: Maybe I don't know.
• 1:07:02
  SPEAKER_01: I'm just too confused.
• 1:07:03
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:07:04
  SPEAKER_01: It's just too much.
• 1:07:04
SPEAKER_01: Too much! Too much, I can't think.
• 1:07:06
SPEAKER_01: And then I want some and I want dim sum.
• 1:07:08
SPEAKER_01: And there's no good Chinatowns anywhere in the Midwest.
• 1:07:12
SPEAKER_00: Cream a Sun Young Guy?
• 1:07:16
SPEAKER_01: Because that cancels you out, right?
• 1:07:19
  SPEAKER_02: Oh shit.
• 1:07:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 1:07:25
SPEAKER_00: Next episode But like fine wine.
• 1:07:28
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 1:07:31
SPEAKER_04: Next episode is called The Glass Ballerina.
• 1:07:37
SPEAKER_04: And it's a Sun and Jin episode.
• 1:07:41
SPEAKER_00: See, even that's weird though.
• 1:07:42
SPEAKER_00: Like how do you go from the others and then you're doing a son and gin episode?
• 1:07:47
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 1:07:48
SPEAKER_01: Well they were on the it kind of makes sense because they were we still waiting to see what happened with the other teams.
• 1:07:55
SPEAKER_04: So they were in the finale sorry.
• 1:07:59
  SPEAKER_04: No, it's funny.
• 1:08:00
SPEAKER_04: We're on the same page.
• 1:08:03
SPEAKER_04: In the finale they were on the sale, but we don't know what happened to them.
• 1:08:07
  SPEAKER_05: We don't know, yeah.
• 1:08:08
SPEAKER_04: Oh, it's them and Saeed.
• 1:08:11
SPEAKER_04: But Said did he get off the boat?
• 1:08:15
SPEAKER_04: They both all they didn't they all go to explore what happened?
• 1:08:20
SPEAKER_04: No, they w right, they went on the boat.
• 1:08:21
SPEAKER_04: But I'm saying did Saeed off the boat or did he or were they all still on the boat?
• 1:08:26
  SPEAKER_04: I don't remember.
• 1:08:26
SPEAKER_04: They got off the boat to find like the Said well one, if not all of them, got off the boat because they made a fire.
• 1:08:34
SPEAKER_04: Right, and they found like the empty huts and whatever.
• 1:08:37
  SPEAKER_04: Right, right.
• 1:08:37
SPEAKER_04: He got off the we know he got off the boat because he looked around and opened the doors and I feel like they didn't feel like they all did, I think.
• 1:08:45
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 1:08:45
SPEAKER_04: I feel we didn't know we didn't see Sun and Jin.
• 1:08:47
  SPEAKER_01: We didn't, did we?
• 1:08:49
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 1:08:49
  SPEAKER_01: Alright.
• 1:08:53
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, we'll get uh Sun and Jin.
• 1:08:56
SPEAKER_00: How many seasons are this one?
• 1:08:58

  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:09:03
SPEAKER_04: And the after this season they get shorter, so they're like half.
• 1:09:08
SPEAKER_01: I was thinking, um, because I'm going back and watching all these old shows that like um I don't know how you feel about just something to think about.
• 1:09:17
SPEAKER_01: Um what about we do shows that didn't get the full run?
• 1:09:22
SPEAKER_01: Like maybe that only made it to like a season or two that has so many.
• 1:09:27
SPEAKER_01: There was some there was some shows that were I'm I'm going back and re-watching them because like thank you for like all these wonderful streaming services and the different like channels.
• 1:09:35
SPEAKER_01: Like CW Seed has all these old shows that encounter anyway.
• 1:09:40
SPEAKER_01: So maybe something to think about.
• 1:09:41
SPEAKER_01: So we don't have like six to ten seasons of shows to talk about, and it'll keep each of our seasons a little bit fresher.
• 1:09:49
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean there's a but on top of it, you can also like get people to watch seasons that maybe they never thought of because it came out before they were even born.
• 1:10:04
  SPEAKER_01: God, I hate you.
• 1:10:08
  SPEAKER_01: Hey Peanut Shell.
