Transcript
- 0:22How you doing? Doing all right. We just want to take a moment in the midst of
- 0:26all the different podcasts to raise up the fact that when we are putting these
- 0:32podcasts together, I come into it very cold.
- 0:35Yeah. And so some of our answers come right off the cuff. I mean,
- 0:39seriously, off the cuff.
- 0:41And we appreciate all the comments that are coming in in this series of videos.
- 0:47So keep them coming. We want to keep the conversation happening. and
- 0:51if we need to warm up don to the conversation
- 0:54we can do that yeah and i could do more study ahead of
- 0:57time but in this context we we come
- 1:00to a cold right right i think we didn't we
- 1:03didn't mention that on the part one of the defeating atheist claims of biblical
- 1:10contradictions but we did obviously notice that there was a ton of views on
- 1:14it and even more comments and it's It's obviously something that is a topic
- 1:20that has a considerable battleground on it.
- 1:23And we're thankful for most of the comments.
- 1:26Obviously, some of them are just digs and trolls in there.
- 1:30But there are a handful of them that did point out some things.
- 1:34Like, for one, was just how I read the atheist intro to it.
- 1:41Okay, that one was a little... I did read it in a snarky way.
- 1:43That probably wasn't necessary.
- 1:46Right. But we want to be part of the conversation. Yes. And we invite your comments,
- 1:50and we are not setting them aside.
- 1:52We're going to take them seriously and look through them, and they could create
- 1:56further content. Right.
- 1:57And so we're sticking this piece in here because there's two more episodes.
- 2:01There's two more parts to this defeating atheist claims of biblical contradiction.
- 2:06That are already recorded. They're already recorded.
- 2:08And so we just didn't want you guys to think that we weren't addressing some
- 2:12of the problems you might have had with how we were going about it.
- 2:16And so we're going to continue with what we do already have videoed,
- 2:21but we will get to these things over the course of time. Yep.
- 2:25Right? That's exactly right.
- 2:26So enjoy the series and yeah, keep the questions coming and the comments coming and we'll get to those.
- 2:33And we thank you for them. Yes, thanks. All right. Enjoy.
- 2:37Pastor Don. Good morning, Alex. Good morning.
- 2:41Ladies and gentlemen, we are still here. you used the word slog we are slogging
- 2:49through it we got more of these,
- 2:52contradictions that are raised by an atheist website pulled from an atheist author.
- 2:58What they say are contradictions within the Bible, and that somehow is a... Not somehow.
- 3:04If there's contradictions within something, that's very reasonable for us to
- 3:07claim that thing as non-authoritative, okay?
- 3:10But we're going through this, and so far we haven't found anything that would
- 3:13say that they are a contradiction in the way that it diminishes the authoritative nature of the Bible.
- 3:20Right. Or authoritative power, okay? Okay.
- 3:23We closed last time on punishing crime, and we're getting into the next topic, which is temptation.
- 3:31All right. So, in James chapter 1, verse 13, it says, Let no man say when he
- 3:36is tempted, I am tempted of God.
- 3:39For God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- 3:44And in Genesis chapter 22, verse 1 says, and it came to pass after these things
- 3:50that God did tempt Abraham.
- 3:53Well, yeah, I guess I don't see.
- 3:57Yep. He tempted Abraham and he had him work it.
- 4:01But what's interesting is then I'd throw it in James chapter one, two through four.
- 4:07And I think the same word is being used. Consider it pure joy,
- 4:11my brothers, when you endure trials of many kinds, temptations of many kinds,
- 4:15because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance,
- 4:18and perseverance, when it has
- 4:20finished its work, leaves you mature and complete, not lacking anything.
- 4:24Interesting that that is in the very same chapter that this James passage is, saying, but God isn't.
- 4:32What James is trying to do is saying, God's not going to put a temptation on
- 4:36you in a spot that's not in you. I understand.
- 4:40Because in that context of James chapter one, he also says that it is coming
- 4:48up from within us, this temptation.
- 4:52Don't be deceived. No, no, no, no. Here it is. But each one is tempted when
- 4:57by his own evil desire, which is the next verse after that,
- 5:01he is dragged away and enticed after desire
- 5:04is conceived it gives birth to sin and sin when it's fully grown
- 5:07gives birth to death right so had they read
- 5:10past if they had they read past then they
- 5:13would see the rest of it and says wait a minute it's not
- 5:16so much god tempting us right it's us being tempted right and and god isn't
- 5:24using temptation i mean in in the passage i'm not sure I'm sure it's quite rendered
- 5:30correctly in Genesis 22 when they said it was temptation. I'm not sure about that one.
- 5:37It came to pass that these things, God tempted Abraham. Both of these set as
- 5:42tests of individual's faith.
- 5:45And we are going to get our faith tested. And God has the privilege to do so.
- 5:52And part of that testing is to develop perseverance within us.
- 5:56And to and paul would go
- 5:59say perseverance to character and who
- 6:02are we in christ unless we have weathered the
- 6:05test and and are shown to be a
- 6:07reflection of the king right so there
- 6:12there really isn't a contradiction here we can
- 6:15be tested by god that genesis
- 6:19passage i am just not feeling very comfortable
- 6:22with that being rendered as tempted okay i
- 6:25think we can also like do an example so like
- 6:28let's say that you were going to test someone versus tempting
- 6:32someone right so if i was going to i wanted to make sure that you drink this
- 6:36water in here and if i was going to test you to see if you would drink it i
- 6:40would offer you knowing like let's see if he's thirsty i'd crank the heat up
- 6:43in here that might be a little bit of a test but i wouldn't say that's That's tempting. No.
- 6:49And this word is used other places and would be more apt to be tested rather than tempting.
- 6:57Okay. So I think that using the King James there might not be the best. I understand. For that.
- 7:04So, yeah, God can test us. Yeah. He has that prerogative. Yeah,
- 7:10and we've even talked about that before.
- 7:12You know, it's like, well, he put the tree in the middle of the Garden of Eden
- 7:15and said, hey, don't eat this.
- 7:16It could have done without that, but it was a test to see where...
- 7:19Sure, you're saying there's a temptation there?
- 7:20No, a temptation would be like, oh, boy, look at how delicious this to you. You'd know everything.
- 7:27Well, it actually took the serpent to make that connection for Adam and Eve.
- 7:32Right. The serpents are the temptation. right so there
- 7:36you can see a very different way of the test and tempt right okay
- 7:39now there might be a blurring of the lines between those two and
- 7:43and even linguistically sure there's
- 7:46a blur in that line right yeah and i
- 7:49think it's disingenuous to say
- 7:52that one equals the other in this instance and doesn't equal it
- 7:55in the other in any other instance in the in our life correct
- 7:57right yeah yeah when we go to school and we want to
- 8:00see what we know we're tested we're not tempted right so and
- 8:04she gives a grade on that one right that's what i
- 8:07experienced yeah yeah good grades i assume i hope
- 8:10so the next one is family relationships exodus chapter
- 8:1320 verse 12 honor thy father father
- 8:17and thy mother and then
- 8:20in luke chapter 14 verse 26 if
- 8:24any man come to me and hate not his father
- 8:27and mother and wife and children and brethren and
- 8:30sisters yay and his own life also
- 8:33he cannot be my disciple duh yeah
- 8:36you want to answer this one yeah it's uh
- 8:40god is first yeah and everything else
- 8:43there's not a boy like i even feel uncomfortable being like god's number one
- 8:49my wife's number two and like i might even i mean i'm you're down the pecking
- 8:53order god's way up here and everything else is down here here.
- 8:58My priority is to look to God.
- 9:01Everything else is a gift of God.
- 9:04So I am putting those aside and I hate those things to honor God because he
- 9:09is the most important thing. Right.
- 9:11Loving him, loving others is a way to love him.
- 9:15That's how that is. Is that good? Yeah. Yeah. To me, this one is funny.
- 9:21Right. Yeah. It doesn't make any sense. But anyway, the other side of the coin
- 9:25is if somebody were just reading down through these, they'd say, oh, yeah, you're right.
- 9:30It doesn't. but to the christian who's reading this
- 9:33we're we're saying get real that one was
- 9:36definitely the one that was the most get real yeah mm-hmm
- 9:39yeah i feel like there's a that most what
- 9:44are we called easter christians yeah that was called sorry if anyone's out there
- 9:48but you still come see any christians right christmas and easter christian right
- 9:53see any yeah it's we understand that part of it right yeah and you should go
- 9:59to a bible study learn more about this is fun.
- 10:02Next one i guess resurrection of the dead job chapter
- 10:057 verse 9 he that goeth down the
- 10:08grave shall come up no more and then
- 10:11the next one from john chapter 5 28 through 29
- 10:14the hour is coming in which all things are in
- 10:17the graves shall hear this his voice and shall come forth so so that was it's
- 10:24not so bad yeah that was a little more substantive substantive than the other
- 10:29so job is the first book of the bible written it was it was some of the oldest book in in the bible.
- 10:36Job doesn't think there's resurrection okay those are his words not god's in
- 10:42fact seven that's not even job's words that's one of his friends that's one
- 10:48of the friends that are talking to job so it's It's what they're trying to comfort,
- 10:54if you will, which they don't do very well in Job.
- 10:58And then the other is Jesus speaking in John 5, the hour is coming.
- 11:04And that resurrection is talked about several places in the New Testament.
- 11:101 Corinthians 15, Thessalonians 5, there's going to be a resurrection. Right.
- 11:18There's going to be a resurrection. Mm-hmm. is
- 11:21it the earthly bodies we've talked about that
- 11:24before yeah we've talked about that before initially not but eventually right
- 11:29i mean we even hear testimony of that after when jesus is resurrected right
- 11:35yeah yeah i feel like there's very little talked about with that i feel like
- 11:39that would be very shocking yeah it'll definitely get people's attention yeah.
- 11:45So is that a contradiction? You got to roll Job back to the context.
- 11:49Okay. So it's in the midst of the story, and this is a person talking to Job,
- 11:55trying to comfort him and tell him to get a hold of his sin.
- 11:59And it's taken out of context just total. Because this is not God speaking,
- 12:05and this is one of his friends, which we don't put any stock in what the friend's
- 12:10saying, because we find out in the course of the story,
- 12:14that these loving men that are comforting Job really aren't very loving at all or very comforting.
- 12:22Right. And this was said in that term, in that context.
- 12:25Okay. So, yeah.
- 12:28Get real. Once you're dead, you're dead. Don't worry about it.
- 12:31Yeah. And all your problems will be over with.
- 12:33Yeah. And Job's wife would say, well, curse God and die.
- 12:37Be over with this. You know, get real. Like, we're going to take that as God's
- 12:42word? Right. Yeah. Okay.
- 12:44See, last one here is the end of the world, and there's one,
- 12:48two, three, four, five, six, six different verses that they have.
- 12:53Matthew 16, verse 28. Verily I say unto you, there be some standing here,
- 13:00which shall not taste of death till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.
- 13:09Okay. Okay. Luke chapter 21, verses 32 through 33.
- 13:14Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away till all be fulfilled.
- 13:19Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.
- 13:24The next one is romans 13 11 through 12 and that knowing the time that now it
- 13:30is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when
- 13:34we believed the night is far spent the day is at hand let us therefore cast
- 13:39off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light,
- 13:44the next one is james chapter 5 verse 8 be also patient establish your hearts
- 13:49for the coming of the Lord dwelleth nigh.
- 13:531 John 2.18, Little children, it is the last time, and as ye have heard that
- 14:00Antichrist shall come, even now are there many Antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time.
- 14:081 Peter 4.7, By the end of all things it is at hand,
- 14:12but the end of all things is at hand be therefore
- 14:15sober and watch unto prayer so it's
- 14:19saying that it is contradictory saying it's going to happen in
- 14:22the and it hasn't yet future and it haven't hasn't hasn't happened and it's
- 14:27actively happening where's the contradiction here i'm trying to find the contradiction
- 14:32because it is it was and it will be yeah it may happen this afternoon right
- 14:38but the end of all things is present tense.
- 14:42Yeah. And generationally we are, even if it's been what, 25 generations, uh.
- 14:50Still same generation okay so here's something that they say after that says so these words,
- 14:56were written between 1800 and 1900 years ago okay and
- 15:01were meant to warn and prepare the first christians apologies
- 15:06for the immediate end of the world some words
- 15:09are those some words
- 15:12are those supposedly straight out of the mouth of the
- 15:15quote son of god the world did not end
- 15:181800 or 1900 years ago all that
- 15:21generation passed away without any of the things foretold coming
- 15:24to pass no amount of prayer brought it
- 15:27about nor ever so much patience and belief and sobering living or sober living
- 15:32the world went on as usual and different to the spoutings of yet another batch
- 15:36of doomsday prophets with visions of messiahs dancing in their deluded brains
- 15:40the world by By surviving makes the above passages contradictions.
- 15:46Oh, really? Okay. But every one of them died.
- 15:50Right. Their end did come. Yeah. And is still coming. Right.
- 15:56So, yeah, I don't understand. So they're saying it's a contradiction because
- 16:00all of them thought that that generation was going to be the last generation?
- 16:04Well, and I would make the case that I think each generation needs to live as
- 16:09if we're the last generation.
- 16:11Okay. What spurs on our faithfulness?
- 16:16Unless we realize that, hey, it could be today. Yeah. It could be.
- 16:21And if I don't take action on it today and share with my brother and sister
- 16:27what this means with some urgency.
- 16:32To me, all those passages speak of the urgency that the kingdom of God is coming
- 16:37and we urgently need to share it.
- 16:40What's interesting then is in Matthew 24, it basically says the end will come
- 16:45when all these things have happened and when every nation has heard.
- 16:49Right. And we're just now getting close to the time when every nation will have
- 16:54heard. Right. And had the gospel in their own language. Right.
- 16:58And there's no way that could have been fulfilled earlier.
- 17:02Right. They said this generation shall not pass away till all be fulfilled.
- 17:05What is Jesus saying when he's saying that? basically what
- 17:09is the generation of humanity i mean basically the
- 17:12generation of who are christians okay and
- 17:16so it's a very broad way and and one that we would not normally read into generations
- 17:22we usually i see your generation my generation next millennials okay yeah and
- 17:27we know but but the the writer is talking about that that group of people who
- 17:33will know jesus right Right. What we would call Christians.
- 17:36Right. So you Christians will not die out.
- 17:40No one's going to get rid of the Christians until everything is fulfilled.
- 17:44Right. Right. That's how I see that too.
- 17:48And then what about with Matthew said there, I say to you, there'll be some
- 17:51standing heroes who will not taste death till they see the son of man coming in his kingdom.
- 17:56Some say they're talking about John and there's a conspiracy that John is not
- 17:59dead. That's a fun conspiracy. That's a fun one. Check that one out. Yeah. But.
- 18:05It gets a little sticky i'm not sure and the
- 18:08concept end of the world if that one plays into it
- 18:11too much i would handle that one
- 18:13loosely yeah it's just i to
- 18:16me it was trying to put icing on a cake that they
- 18:19thought they'd already cooked and this cake isn't done
- 18:22yet i see i see they're like
- 18:25this is he's saying hey there's more
- 18:28to do right yeah i'm leaving you
- 18:32guys have got this very special holy spirit gift now don't
- 18:36be preparing like it's the end right there's a lot left that
- 18:38needs to be done right yeah and you're not gonna know when but
- 18:41it'll be when all these things are been fulfilled it yeah and it's meant to
- 18:45give a urgency right to get to it right urgency as well as there's a lot of
- 18:52time left to do it maybe you know what i'm saying though like don't like i i
- 18:56would say it's flipping it it's saying don't don't bank on
- 18:59there being enough time don't bank on there being enough time i have a lot that's
- 19:03to do a lot is going to happen but don't act like you have a lot of time don't
- 19:09procrastinate it right okay,
- 19:11so that was the last of them praise the lord right sorry yeah and i've heard
- 19:19other ones as well and i'm surprised they don't have them in here probably because
- 19:22they don't these are sort
- 19:24of lame i thought so too i'm sorry there are there's better ones that don't necessarily have.
- 19:31Deeper implications right so like if if if this temp one about temptation,
- 19:37was a contradiction that that might
- 19:40be a big deal but there's one where there's you
- 19:43know like two two of the accounts of
- 19:47one event one says there was three men and
- 19:50one says there was one men yeah you know like
- 19:53that one's a that one's a very big
- 19:56contradiction that was a very clear contradiction but that's
- 19:59one of those ones where it's like well that's just this is how many people
- 20:02i saw is how many people you saw it's what does that
- 20:05have anything to do with it right it's like well that means the
- 20:07bible's not true because of that one thing you're like okay really
- 20:11hold on you're gonna discount the newspaper because they got it wrong or right
- 20:15but what they're trying to do here is that these are kind of important things
- 20:19opposed to numbers yeah and if all of these were contradictions that might say
- 20:26something about the urgency of the bible.
- 20:29It's still got to know it well enough to know whether they aren't or not.
- 20:34Okay. I'm going to read what their conclusion is after this list. Okay.
- 20:38Okay. Prepare yourself. Don't laugh, but hold onto the table.
- 20:43Let's think of how we would talk to someone like this. Okay.
- 20:46Because it is very difficult to, if you were talking to someone like this and
- 20:50they had this list in front of you, let's try to figure out how to love this person.
- 20:54I guess it says, what is incredible about the Bible is not its divine art,
- 20:58the authorship, is that such a concoction of contradictory nonsense could be
- 21:02believed by anyone to have been written by an omniscient God.
- 21:06To do so, one would first have to not read the book, which is the practice of
- 21:11most Christians, but that's not untrue, or if one does read it,
- 21:15dump in the trash can one's rational intelligence,
- 21:19to become a fool for God, in other words.
- 21:22To be an atheist which one
- 21:26need only be able to laugh when
- 21:29such obnoxious nonsense is offered as being divine
- 21:32truth so be an atheist
- 21:35laugh when people say that the bible is true and therefore your righteousness
- 21:40is established essentially except they don't need any righteousness that's there's
- 21:45no advocate for it right yeah that's a tricky one i don't quite understand yeah
- 21:50and then And so what's the author of any morality?
- 21:56There's no moral concept. Right. Right. Constructor. The atheist argument is interesting.
- 22:03If you listen to people who are actually proclaimed atheists,
- 22:07it's interesting because they want to be moral, right? But not because of God.
- 22:13I don't do it because of that, which is interesting.
- 22:16So why do you do it? Because then, exactly, why do you do it?
- 22:20Then they would say, you know, well, why do you do it? Just so you can go to
- 22:23heaven? Well, no, you don't understand.
- 22:26So that's kind of a difficult topic to bring up. But then also at the same time,
- 22:29why do you defend your faith?
- 22:33It's like, we don't have a faith. That's not faith, but it is.
- 22:37So how do we talk to someone like this? Because it seems like there's not a
- 22:41very big openness, and I don't know about you guys, but there's a defense.
- 22:44A mockery generally makes me, I have a hard time not being a little bit angry.
- 22:51But I like your approach of saying, Saying, you know, so what do you base such and such on? Right.
- 22:58If they aren't using the Bible to construct their morality or their ethics or their hope.
- 23:05Yeah. I mean, where is hope in that? Right. Because you talked about faith.
- 23:09Faith and hope go very much hand in hand.
- 23:12And so what's their reality?
- 23:16And what I find is that they believe God just enough not to believe God. Well, yeah.
- 23:23And so, yeah, this may be probably one of the more lame presentations,
- 23:30but I'd ask, so what ever would give you hope?
- 23:37And so what do you enjoy as far as love?
- 23:40Well, I would assume that would be one of those things where they kind of rest
- 23:42on their morals, their self-righteousness. Where'd they get those?
- 23:45From themselves. I'm right about this. And how do you know that?
- 23:49Because I've made this list and I know it. And if you try to refute this list, I'll laugh at you.
- 23:55But at least you know you don't want to adopt this Christian faith. Right.
- 24:02But you are adopting something. Right. So what is it?
- 24:05Well, it's a faith, yeah. They don't like to call it faith. No,
- 24:08they won't. But they're living by something.
- 24:10Right. And so basically what it is is a polarization.
- 24:13They want to push against God
- 24:15because they have to have something to push either for or against. I see.
- 24:20And so they've laid down this, okay, can't be God.
- 24:25Right. But then by pushing away from something, and if you're not pushing against
- 24:29them, the argument falls on its face.
- 24:33Because what are you doing then? We know what you're against,
- 24:36but what are you for? Right. And where do you get it from?
- 24:39Right. And what do you derive any human pleasure?
- 24:43How would you know what righteousness is? Where are your measures and your constructs
- 24:49that help you navigate this life?
- 24:52True. And so it's not this. Okay. That's it.
- 24:56But I have to ask you what it is. You know what you're against,
- 24:59but you don't know what you're for. And if you're an atheist and you're listening
- 25:02to this, or maybe you're agnostic or something, this is us just right now trying
- 25:06to be like, we don't understand. Right. So enter the conversation.
- 25:10Help us understand this, because I don't understand where the morality comes from.
- 25:15We know it's probably influenced, at least if you're living in the United States,
- 25:19and a lot of it's going to be influenced by Christianity, because that's just
- 25:25how this country was founded.
- 25:26What do you think about that i i would assume that some of that i mean you do get to enjoy.
- 25:33The morality of others that are christians that are
- 25:37doing good deeds in order to love god
- 25:39is why we're doing it so you do get to enjoy those
- 25:42things if you were not a part of that community
- 25:45of believers or at least surrounded by them you would not get
- 25:48to enjoy those things nor would you be allowed to say that like if
- 25:51you were in a country which was a lot less tolerant of
- 25:54people who did not believe in their god there would not be that freedom
- 25:57you would not have that tolerance right so you do get to enjoy
- 26:00the fruits of the spirit from others towards
- 26:03you what do you think about that and where
- 26:07is the joy and is the defensiveness
- 26:11of this and i don't get me wrong i understand it's
- 26:14not lost on me that what we are doing here is defending our faith and that is
- 26:17what we intended to do but and give us new material and material i mean i mean
- 26:24help us understand the argument because this is not a really good way of understanding
- 26:29how do you get there right.
- 26:34And I could see it being a little bit of some of our maybe answers saying like,
- 26:37we can dismiss it because of these things as being insufficient to you.
- 26:40And I fully understand some of that, but also understand that the Bible does
- 26:45say that unless you do believe some of this stuff will be lost on you.
- 26:48Am I right in that? Is that the right? Did I say that correctly?
- 26:52I'm trying to do book, chapter and verse.
- 26:55So yeah, I'm sorry. It's fine. So I wouldn't start off with somebody,
- 27:00like if someone was not a believer, and I said,
- 27:02I believe the Bible is inerrantly true, is without error, and they did not believe
- 27:09God, did not have a relationship with God or any sort of religion.
- 27:12I would not, and they said, oh, yeah, prove that.
- 27:16I would say, well, let's do some other things first, because that's going to
- 27:19be a very difficult thing for me to convey without a knowledge of the Bible,
- 27:25the context within the Bible.
- 27:27The context that I don't even fully grasp yet. I'm still coming through it. I'm learning.
- 27:32I'm embarrassed at how little I know about the Bible every day. And I am too.
- 27:36So, yeah, anything else that you would say to someone that maybe...
- 27:40That and the fact that, go back, what text from any part of culture,
- 27:45what text has been honored to the point this text has been honored?
- 27:49Right. through all the different translations, through all the different copies that have been made.
- 27:55This is considered a holy text. We've taken care of it.
- 27:59And so there might be a few places where you come up with some problems,
- 28:03but they are so few compared to other documents that have come through the same
- 28:07historical period of time that God,
- 28:11I think God's hand is in the preservation of this text and it's done for a reason.
- 28:19Right. Yeah. This is what I say, God-inspired writing.
- 28:25Whereas some of the other texts are, is the Quran, that's written by...
- 28:31My understanding. Muhammad, right.
- 28:34So the inerrancy within for them would have to be that that thing definitely
- 28:38never changed throughout the years.
- 28:40Whereas this one is inspired by God is guiding the, what, the forming of the
- 28:48Bible. Right. Right? Yes.
- 28:50Because I've heard that objection before too, which is a very valid objection.
- 28:53Just, you know, look into it, you know? Right.
- 28:57And you do have to be careful. Yeah. Because just the testing and temptation
- 29:01words that we were working with.
- 29:03Yeah. So how were they translated from the Hebrew to what we read in the Bible?
- 29:10And that makes a difference. Right.
- 29:13And definitely always to anyone out there, no matter what you believe,
- 29:17steel man every argument,
- 29:18meaning construct the most difficult argument from the other side that's going
- 29:24to rebut your belief or contradict your belief, make an argument against yourself.
- 29:28Right. That's the most interesting way to do it. And that's kind of what this
- 29:32whole show is revolved around a little bit. It was just, we're getting some questions.
- 29:36Some of them seem too easy for Don. So I'm trying to make them a little harder.
- 29:40I say, okay, well, what if someone said this? I know.
- 29:44I know. But I get a lot of feedback of people being like, that was very profound.
- 29:51And it's nothing that I said or you said, but what came out of it,
- 29:55what got put into someone's head, put them on a trail to something that made
- 29:58them say, holy cow. Praise the Lord.
- 30:00Praise the Lord. And draws them closer. and those kind of things give me goosebumps
- 30:04and maybe this love is best.
- 30:06Good stuff. All right. Don, will you pray us out? I can do that.
- 30:09All right. Heavenly Father, thank you for this time together.
- 30:12Thank you for this media where we're sharing with others.
- 30:16We thank you, Lord, for the questions and we do pray they keep coming.
- 30:20And we pray that your blessing upon those who are listening today and continue
- 30:25to draw us ever closer to you, Lord, in every action we do, every word we say.
- 30:31In Jesus' precious name, amen. Amen. We did it.
- 30:38We made it through the slog. All right, everyone. Hey, thanks for joining us
- 30:43and blessings to you. And we'll see you all next week.
