Speaker 1: Good morning, Good morning, good morning. It is time for
• 0:02
Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer, and as always
• 0:04
Speaker 1: I ask that you joined along with me. And I
• 0:09
Speaker 1: was just working away the other day and I was
• 0:13
Speaker 1: sitting there and an email popped up and it was
• 0:16
Speaker 1: from our division president, and Shoush was wishing me a
• 0:21
Speaker 1: happy eighteenth anniversary. And I thought, Wow, God, what a ride.
• 0:27
Speaker 1: What a ride? Eighteen years on the morning show. Wow. Now,
• 0:32
Speaker 1: prior to that, I did work part time as a
• 0:34
Speaker 1: feeling and all that here on the station, and even
• 0:37
Speaker 1: before that for another radio station, and I was doing
• 0:40
Speaker 1: the math twenty nine years in radio. God is faithful.
• 0:45
Speaker 1: I don't say that to brag. I say that to
• 0:47
Speaker 1: brag on God. He is faithful, y'all. He really really is.
• 0:53
Speaker 1: He watches after his word to perform it in our lives.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: He graces us to do what he called us to do,
• 1:01
Speaker 1: to do something I'd love. I consider this, y'all, ministry. Yes,
• 1:05
Speaker 1: it is work now because I work hard, But I
• 1:09
Speaker 1: consider it ministry that I get to talk about my
• 1:12
Speaker 1: Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I get to encourage and
• 1:16
Speaker 1: read the word of God and all of that that
• 1:18
Speaker 1: is a blessing. But I also realize this that any
• 1:23
Speaker 1: job where I have gainful employment is a blessing, and
• 1:27
Speaker 1: sometimes we forget to acknowledge and thank God for gainful employment.
• 1:32
Speaker 1: I hear people saying they've been on their job for
• 1:33
Speaker 1: thirty years, and forty years and fifty years, y'all, that's
• 1:37
Speaker 1: a blessing. So today, God, we thank you for our jobs.
• 1:41
Speaker 1: We thank you for provision for our lives, for our families.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: We thank you for our bills being paid. We thank
• 1:49
Speaker 1: you for life, health and strength, that there's nothing broken, lacking,
• 1:53
Speaker 1: or missing in our lives. And for those that are
• 1:55
Speaker 1: looking for employment, God, we thank you that you calls
• 2:00
Speaker 1: them to have favor with You and with Man, that
• 2:05
Speaker 1: you will lead and guide them, that they'll be able
• 2:07
Speaker 1: to clearly hear from you what direction they need to
• 2:11
Speaker 1: take when it comes for searching for employment. And when
• 2:15
Speaker 1: they walk in, they'll be ready for what you have
• 2:19
Speaker 1: in store for them. That they'll be a light on
• 2:22
Speaker 1: their jobs, that people will see them on their jobs,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: and then they'll see you through them. No matter the job,
• 2:30
Speaker 1: we can be a light and we can use it
• 2:32
Speaker 1: as ministry. Help us to be marketplace Minister's God everywhere
• 2:38
Speaker 1: we go. God, We want you to be glorified in
• 2:41
Speaker 1: and through our lives in Jesus' name. Amen,
