- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deyview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to Game Deview, presented by Caesar Sportsbook Patrick Claib.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I'm back here with Greg.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland. This is a smile because it
- 0:20Speaker 2: happened thing, because this is the final one of the season,
- 0:22Speaker 2: because we're all got one football game left, Guys.
- 0:25Speaker 4: I am excited for it though.
- 0:26Speaker 5: It's the two best teams and we also get to
- 0:29Speaker 5: celebrate the best of the best when it comes to
- 0:31Speaker 5: picking games. Here she is the Kansas City Chiefs of
- 0:35Speaker 5: Game Deview, Cynthia Freeland, wearing her Champagne colored shirt to
- 0:40Speaker 5: celebrate and dunk.
- 0:41Speaker 4: On us didn't. I just like the shirt, guy, it
- 0:44Speaker 4: is great. I just thought it was cool.
- 0:46Speaker 2: It's a nice shirt that the glass metaphor does a
- 0:49Speaker 2: whole true for Cynthia in the playoffs because she is
- 0:52Speaker 2: rocking the crown.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I guess Greg. Greg went double.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Like swings for the fences in conference championship week, so
- 0:59Speaker 2: that's why he is currently sitting at six and six.
- 1:02Speaker 2: So roll fifty seven wasn't eight games, So glad we
- 1:05Speaker 2: get to run it back for the rematch, we'll start
- 1:06Speaker 2: by talking about our players to watch on the Chiefs offense,
- 1:09Speaker 2: and I don't kick it off and discuss the oft
- 1:12Speaker 2: non discussed factor Patrick Mahomes, because sometimes he seemed like
- 1:16Speaker 2: a given, like the tides.
- 1:17Speaker 3: And their connection to the moon.
- 1:19Speaker 2: But the fact that we have a planetary sized object
- 1:22Speaker 2: orbiting us that's the perfect distance for solar eclipses is
- 1:26Speaker 2: totally locked.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It's cool.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Just like a quarterback playing in his fifth Super Bowl
- 1:31Speaker 2: before he turns thirty years old.
- 1:33Speaker 3: What are the differences? Though?
- 1:34Speaker 2: In the playoffs hes scrambled on fifteen percent of his
- 1:37Speaker 2: dropbacks compared.
- 1:38Speaker 3: To just five in the regular season.
- 1:40Speaker 2: It's so difficult to just dial it up and be
- 1:42Speaker 2: a different football player in a different circumstance, But year
- 1:45Speaker 2: after year he doesn't.
- 1:46Speaker 3: So yeah, he's the player to watch because he's Patrick Mahomes.
- 1:49Speaker 3: He feels obvious.
- 1:50Speaker 6: Well, you talk about him scrambling in the postseason. Some
- 1:52Speaker 6: changes we see from the regular to postseason. How about
- 1:55Speaker 6: Xavier Worthies opportunity here? Not only is he now the
- 1:58Speaker 6: motion man, the guy we see running ahead of the snap,
- 2:01Speaker 6: but also they've adjusted his average depth of target down,
- 2:04Speaker 6: so they're asking him to use a lot more yack.
- 2:07Speaker 6: That's where they're leveraging Xavier Worthy's speed. Before it was
- 2:10Speaker 6: like over eleven air yards per attempt that was the target.
- 2:13Speaker 6: Now it's like less than half of that. So let's
- 2:16Speaker 6: see him in motion. Let's see what happens with the
- 2:18Speaker 6: ball in his hands. Let's see all that yak in
- 2:20Speaker 6: the Super Bowl.
- 2:21Speaker 5: I don't think people realize how good Worthy is that
- 2:24Speaker 5: he could be to me as good of a player
- 2:25Speaker 5: as let's say, DeVonta Smith is like a future number
- 2:28Speaker 5: one type of guy.
- 2:29Speaker 4: So she stole the guy I wanted.
- 2:30Speaker 5: But when I was watching Xavier Worthy, I kept seeing
- 2:33Speaker 5: this other blinding light running down the field and his
- 2:36Speaker 5: name was Hollywood Brown, and it occurred to me for
- 2:39Speaker 5: the first time. All season, this Chiefs team was fast.
- 2:43Speaker 5: They were the slowest team in the NFL. They really
- 2:47Speaker 5: were all season long. And people are like, oh, the
- 2:49Speaker 5: Chiefs were playing Oki dok all season. We'll get into
- 2:52Speaker 5: it throughout the course of this show. No, they're a
- 2:55Speaker 5: different team now than they were before. You have two
- 2:59Speaker 5: really fast receivers testing downfield coverage, and Marky sprown is
- 3:04Speaker 5: going to really determine this game.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Because Patrick then of the Ravens.
- 3:09Speaker 3: That's a dangerous situation.
- 3:10Speaker 4: It could be up, it could be down. He could
- 3:13Speaker 4: have a big drop.
- 3:13Speaker 5: As a Ravens fan, he was there watching sometimes when
- 3:17Speaker 5: Marky's Brown didn't make that catch. But I'm telling you
- 3:19Speaker 5: he has been getting open and his speed, combined with
- 3:22Speaker 5: worthy speed, has transformed this offense from a station to
- 3:26Speaker 5: station group to one that has a lot of explosion.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Let's flip it over to the defensive side of the ball.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Who do you have your eye on Cynthia as the
- 3:33Speaker 2: player to watch on defense?
- 3:34Speaker 6: Well, there's a lot to watch, but I'm looking specifically
- 3:36Speaker 6: at Justin Reid in this matchup, we know they're going
- 3:39Speaker 6: to have to account for sake one, we know that
- 3:41Speaker 6: they're going to have to account for outside the numbers
- 3:43Speaker 6: passes to aj Brown.
- 3:44Speaker 7: Well, what about the middle of the.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Field, what about where Dallas gutter might potentially be? We
- 3:50Speaker 6: know that this is the best tackling defense in the NFL.
- 3:53Speaker 6: If you're looking at the next gen stat that's how
- 3:55Speaker 6: many missed tackles or missed tackle rate, It is the
- 3:57Speaker 6: lowest for any team. It's like ten point seven percent,
- 4:00Speaker 6: so sub eleven percent. Now, what kind of holes and
- 4:04Speaker 6: what kind of sacrifices will you have to make?
- 4:06Speaker 7: Are you going to blitz a lot?
- 4:07Speaker 6: Are you going to drop back a little bit more hurt?
- 4:09Speaker 7: Are you going to stack the box? What's going on?
- 4:10Speaker 6: Well, you're going to need the guys in the back,
- 4:12Speaker 6: so you're going to need the safeties, you need the
- 4:13Speaker 6: course to really be playing chess when everyone's playing checkers.
- 4:16Speaker 7: And Justin Reid also won the chess championship this year,
- 4:18Speaker 7: so I'm just.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Saying, wait, what chess championship.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Chess dot com does a chess championship. Every Drew Tranquill
- 4:23Speaker 6: won last year, Justin Reid ran won this year.
- 4:26Speaker 7: So they're fast, best checkers.
- 4:28Speaker 5: They're smart, and he was a guy who missed some
- 4:30Speaker 5: time this year too, So that's another reason why they're
- 4:32Speaker 5: better now than they were. Another reason is that Chris
- 4:35Speaker 5: Jones is playoff Chris Jones. We talk about Patrick Mahomes
- 4:38Speaker 5: and Andy Reid and Spags is kind of the three
- 4:41Speaker 5: weight buried walls of the Chiefs. You got to put
- 4:44Speaker 5: Chris Jones in that mix. I'm not saying he's doing
- 4:46Speaker 5: an okie doke, but I do think Chris Jones in
- 4:49Speaker 5: the playoffs and Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs are even better.
- 4:52Speaker 4: They're breaking out things he didn't see.
- 4:54Speaker 5: And what we saw from Chris Jones in the first
- 4:56Speaker 5: half of that Bills game was a game changing, game
- 4:59Speaker 5: winning performance. He helped get them that lead.
- 5:02Speaker 4: And he's so.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Rare because he's out there on the edge beating tackles
- 5:07Speaker 5: like Spencer Brown, who's a great player one on one,
- 5:09Speaker 5: so he'll be inside, he'll be outside.
- 5:12Speaker 4: He's the rare guy who can make an Eagles offensive
- 5:14Speaker 4: lineman look bad as good as they are.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, there's one person on this show that we refer
- 5:18Speaker 2: to as a person who doesn't occasionally tell the truth.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I'm calling on the entire Chiefs roster when they talk
- 5:23Speaker 2: about all we don't think about the three feet To
- 5:25Speaker 2: be able to have this level sustained success, you have
- 5:27Speaker 2: to prepare your bodies and be willing to change things
- 5:30Speaker 2: up to be here in the playoffs. Chris Jones, Patrick Mahomes,
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'll fall into that. A guy who made a big
- 5:34Speaker 2: play in the last Super Bowl, Nick Bolton. We think
- 5:37Speaker 2: about the Eagles and the Chiefs flying up and down
- 5:39Speaker 2: the field in the second half, it was Nick Bolton
- 5:41Speaker 2: picking up that ball. Of course, as Andy Reid said,
- 5:43Speaker 2: don't open any night.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Ball's not round.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They bounced sometimes they bounced directly to Nick Bolton. I
- 5:47Speaker 2: think if Nick Bolton playing against this Eagles run attack,
- 5:50Speaker 2: not just Saquon, but all of the connections that they
- 5:52Speaker 2: play with up front.
- 5:53Speaker 3: If they are wrong a couple of times.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Twenty six is run into the end zone by himself,
- 5:58Speaker 2: they have to have an A game. If they have
- 6:00Speaker 2: a B game, I think the Chiefs don't have an
- 6:02Speaker 2: opportunity here.
- 6:03Speaker 3: So I think Nick Bolton is is my player to watch.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Let's move on, take a peek at the Super Bowl
- 6:08Speaker 2: leading receiver odds. Travis Kelcey, of course, had the big
- 6:12Speaker 2: one last time out. AJ Brown the odds on favorite
- 6:16Speaker 2: at plus one pint eighty to lead the game in
- 6:19Speaker 2: receiving the Xavier worthy a Hanse Smith down there. So
- 6:21Speaker 2: let's discuss Cynthia Who's going to be the game's top
- 6:25Speaker 2: pass catcher.
- 6:26Speaker 6: Well, I'm gonna go a little chalky here, and I'm
- 6:28Speaker 6: going to say that it is in fact AJ Brown
- 6:30Speaker 6: in large part because of what we've seen outside the numbers,
- 6:33Speaker 6: especially in recent games, those outside of the numbers passes
- 6:36Speaker 6: have been where Jalen Hurts has been on a freaking heater,
- 6:39Speaker 6: and that's where aj Brown will have a huge physical
- 6:42Speaker 6: mismatch against pretty much anyone in the league that tries
- 6:44Speaker 6: to match up against him, but especially if number twenty
- 6:47Speaker 6: two Trent mcdohughey isn't on him, that's where he'll had
- 6:50Speaker 6: a chance to absolutely eat. But again, outside of the
- 6:52Speaker 6: numbers passes, that's.
- 6:53Speaker 7: Going to be a difference maker in this one.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm going Xavier Worthy because he's the guy catching
- 6:58Speaker 5: the passes from Patrick Mahomes and he's the clear one
- 7:01Speaker 5: right now in his number is one that tud It's true,
- 7:05Speaker 5: he's just gonna get a lot of targets. They really
- 7:09Speaker 5: scheme their offense up to specifically get Xavier Worthy looks
- 7:13Speaker 5: in a way that I don't think they will for
- 7:16Speaker 5: any other player on that team.
- 7:17Speaker 4: He is making contested catches, he.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Has the faith of his head coach and his quarterback,
- 7:23Speaker 5: which I don't think he had early in the season.
- 7:25Speaker 4: And even though nobody asked me, just.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Like for a little underdog pick, Dallas Goddard's kind of
- 7:30Speaker 5: sneaky in there at plus eight hundred. If you were
- 7:32Speaker 5: going to go on the other side, I think that
- 7:33Speaker 5: would be like a fun underdog.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah, what about the guy who was the leading receiver
- 7:38Speaker 2: for the Philadelphia Eagles in this game in Super Bowl
- 7:41Speaker 2: fifty seven back in Glendale. Now DeVante Smith is in
- 7:45Speaker 2: his home state of Louisiana. He probably has a similar performance,
- 7:48Speaker 2: going for over one hundred yards. He's played against the
- 7:51Speaker 2: Spags chief defense three times in his career, one of
- 7:53Speaker 2: the being in the Super Bowl. The totals are three
- 7:55Speaker 2: hundred and twenty one yards in those three games. I
- 7:59Speaker 2: think DeVante Smith is a leading receiver.
- 8:01Speaker 3: It's a surprise. We're not going to tell people.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Let's die been to some fun prop bets with some
- 8:06Speaker 2: quick picks here on game Dave, you first won, Cynthia.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Will the opening coin toss be heads or tails?
- 8:12Speaker 7: Well it's tails?
- 8:13Speaker 4: Why?
- 8:13Speaker 6: Well, just so you know, in fifty eight Super Bowls,
- 8:15Speaker 6: thirty times it's in tails, twenty eight, it's been heads.
- 8:18Speaker 6: In the past six it's gone evenly heads and tails.
- 8:20Speaker 6: I don't actually have any reason other than I just
- 8:22Speaker 6: prefer tails him fails. It's a lot of fun. But
- 8:25Speaker 6: you can tell your friends thirty tails, twenty eight heads.
- 8:29Speaker 4: There you go.
- 8:30Speaker 7: You'll be the hit of your party.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's like those people staring intently at the history on
- 8:33Speaker 2: the Roulett wheel.
- 8:34Speaker 3: What do we think about the first Goddess? Core? Greg?
- 8:37Speaker 3: Will his jersey number be higher than ten and a half?
- 8:40Speaker 5: I'm saying no, we Gonta Smith, we got Zavier Worthy,
- 8:44Speaker 5: Xavier one, Jalen Hurts.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Jalen Hurts was what did it for?
- 8:48Speaker 7: Twenty six?
- 8:49Speaker 4: Though? Is twenty six is a high number?
- 8:51Speaker 5: But you know who scored more rushing touchdowns than twenty
- 8:53Speaker 5: six this year?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Who?
- 8:54Speaker 7: Number one?
- 8:55Speaker 5: Does it count if it's a passing touchdout? I guess
- 8:57Speaker 5: not either receiver? Do we have any receivers under other
- 9:01Speaker 5: than well?
- 9:02Speaker 3: It's six? But then I think becomes a problem.
- 9:05Speaker 7: Yeah, eleven becomes a really big problem.
- 9:07Speaker 6: I went with the numbers here, eleven, twenty six, eighty seven.
- 9:12Speaker 6: I just went with how many people I think could
- 9:13Speaker 6: catch a touchdown, and that's why I went with more higher.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but Greg, Greg's got Hollywood good.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I'm going to number five, Hollywood Brown tig.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Play love it, make it as painful as possible. Who's
- 9:24Speaker 2: gonna go for to Cynthia? Will there be a successful
- 9:27Speaker 2: two point conversion on Sunday in New Orleans?
- 9:30Speaker 6: The answer is Yes, this is the year of two
- 9:33Speaker 6: point conversions. This is the year where the analytics says,
- 9:37Speaker 6: actually just means we're going forward on I don't know,
- 9:39Speaker 6: fourth down two point conversions, all of these things. I
- 9:41Speaker 6: think the two point conversion will be a strategic point.
- 9:45Speaker 6: We all agree across the board meme alert us away
- 9:48Speaker 6: you anti two point conversion people, We are.
- 9:50Speaker 7: Saying yes to this one.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Shout out to the production crew, hight them and everyone
- 9:54Speaker 5: back there for bringing back these great memories of all
- 9:56Speaker 5: the influential two point conversions, right which led to that Patriots,
- 10:00Speaker 5: Falcons come back and some big ones obviously in Chiefs Eagles.
- 10:03Speaker 5: I think there's some analysis to be made here, which
- 10:05Speaker 5: is that these are two teams that have found the
- 10:08Speaker 5: religion on fourth down and to be two point conversions
- 10:11Speaker 5: very close to similar down.
- 10:12Speaker 4: You're gonna go for it.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Yeah, they're very good at it as well. It helps.
- 10:16Speaker 3: It can't be bad. It just go for it.
- 10:17Speaker 2: You have to be good at it, yeah, because you're
- 10:19Speaker 2: probably not scoring the touchdown in the first place. If
- 10:20Speaker 2: that's the case. On the gatoray bath, fantastic tradition. We
- 10:23Speaker 2: love it. We're powered by it.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Greg what color is it going to be for the
- 10:27Speaker 3: winning car?
- 10:28Speaker 5: Well, every year I picked green. This year they didn't
- 10:31Speaker 5: even give me an option as green.
- 10:33Speaker 4: I'm colorblind.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Another way of the NFL really doesn't think about our
- 10:37Speaker 5: color blind people out there.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I'm going blue, though, we're going blue.
- 10:41Speaker 5: I don't know if it's the freeze blue or it's
- 10:45Speaker 5: just blue. They have a couple of different shades of blue,
- 10:47Speaker 5: so that gave is blue an advantage.
- 10:49Speaker 7: So here's the thing I need.
- 10:50Speaker 4: To tell you.
- 10:51Speaker 6: The last time the Eagles won, it was yellow. The
- 10:53Speaker 6: past two seasons it was purple for the Chiefs.
- 10:56Speaker 7: Does that change anything for you, Greg.
- 10:58Speaker 4: No, this is a ridiculous question.
- 11:01Speaker 6: But orange, if you really think about fade orange, it's
- 11:05Speaker 6: not gonna be orange.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Drop things if like you really drilled down to it.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Because I hear someone say like, oh, Mahomes has hit
- 11:11Speaker 5: his rushing prop five out of six. I mean, there's
- 11:13Speaker 5: probably not any more indicative than yellow or blue size.
- 11:16Speaker 6: I think people are superstitious and the orange. Then the
- 11:19Speaker 6: next year when they lost the Super Bowl, I heard
- 11:21Speaker 6: a rumor it's orange there too.
- 11:22Speaker 7: So I'm thinking fade orange.
- 11:24Speaker 4: But yellow was.
- 11:25Speaker 7: The Eagles last time.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Different regime, But if you really think it's the cheese
- 11:28Speaker 6: probably purple superstition.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Three year old.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Maybe get some insight in what the player said on
- 11:33Speaker 2: their favorite Gatorade flavor, because the one that gets dumped
- 11:36Speaker 2: on the coach is the one that didn't get consumed.
- 11:38Speaker 3: During the game.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So something considered last year's Super Bowl went to overtime,
- 11:43Speaker 2: Well this year somethingle no oh.
- 11:44Speaker 6: I mean, look, we've had a couple recently, but I
- 11:47Speaker 6: think in this game it's gonna come down to a
- 11:50Speaker 6: game winning drive. But I don't necessarily think it will
- 11:54Speaker 6: be extra football. I think we are ending with sixty
- 11:57Speaker 6: minutes of regulation.
- 11:59Speaker 5: I like the the no, the no right there for
- 12:02Speaker 5: New Orleans. It's style lies, It's beautiful. We got a
- 12:05Speaker 5: lot of work to do here. It's a central time
- 12:08Speaker 5: zone game. We're gonna have postgame coverage, We're gonna do
- 12:11Speaker 5: an NFL Daily podcast. Let's have a great game in regulation.
- 12:14Speaker 5: We don't need any overtime.
- 12:16Speaker 2: That's like those rules, sixty minutes for the rest of
- 12:18Speaker 2: our lives. Before we go, we gotta go backwards, we
- 12:21Speaker 2: gotta go way back. In Week one, one of us
- 12:24Speaker 2: nailed their Super Bowl prediction. The other two not so much. Well,
- 12:29Speaker 2: we did see them before because you said they were
- 12:31Speaker 2: going to happen, so they happened.
- 12:33Speaker 7: Congratulation, Blind girl finds a nut wining the picks.
- 12:36Speaker 5: If you had actually put down that that prop of
- 12:40Speaker 5: this exact matchup, you wouldn't even be watching right now
- 12:43Speaker 5: because you'd be so rich.
- 12:45Speaker 2: We's forty five hundred at the start of the season.
- 12:47Speaker 4: I'm bad, not bad, A pretty solid pick.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Time for home field advantage presented by Zillow DeVante Smith's
- 12:53Speaker 2: hometown of Amy City, just an hour outside of New Orleans.
- 12:57Speaker 3: A fun fact, it's.
- 12:58Speaker 2: On the Amy River, which they call it the Emit
- 13:01Speaker 2: River in Mississippi, so the name changes as it goes
- 13:03Speaker 2: through Louisiana.
- 13:05Speaker 3: It's Amy. So it's going to be.
- 13:07Speaker 2: A homecoming for Smitty, the Heisman Trophy winner.
- 13:11Speaker 3: But what's his number going to be?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Cynthia Well Davonte Smith have over or under fifty one
- 13:16Speaker 2: and a half receiving yards on Super Bowl Sunday.
- 13:19Speaker 7: Oh, I really like that one. My model has like
- 13:21Speaker 7: fifty six. You know, I'm a conservative modeler.
- 13:24Speaker 6: I think this could be one where we see one
- 13:26Speaker 6: of these deep catches for at least nineteen and a
- 13:29Speaker 6: half yards all in one play.
- 13:31Speaker 7: In fact, I really.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Like that if you're picking up what I'm putting down,
- 13:34Speaker 6: but ultimately over fifty one and a half total yards,
- 13:37Speaker 6: foh show.
- 13:38Speaker 5: I think one difference between this Chiefs team now in
- 13:42Speaker 5: a couple of years ago is the questions at the
- 13:45Speaker 5: outside cornerback position. You know McDuffie's good there, but he's
- 13:50Speaker 5: better in the slot. So when he is in the slot,
- 13:53Speaker 5: then Jalen Watson, who's returned, I just don't think they're
- 13:56Speaker 5: maybe as strong as they were a couple of years
- 13:58Speaker 5: back when it was Lagarious Snead out there each and
- 14:01Speaker 5: every day.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, having a couple of options definitely helps. So it's
- 14:04Speaker 2: going to be a lot on McVey. Speaking of Devonte Smith,
- 14:06Speaker 2: let's talk about some more guys on this Eagles offense
- 14:09Speaker 2: to watch.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Who do you have your eyes on?
- 14:11Speaker 4: Greg Well?
- 14:11Speaker 5: Why not start with the quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is
- 14:14Speaker 5: coming off his best game I thought of the season
- 14:17Speaker 5: in the Conference championship game. So let's just remember his
- 14:20Speaker 5: best game of his career I believe was in the
- 14:21Speaker 5: Super Bowl. His best game of this season is in
- 14:24Speaker 5: the Conference championship game. That's a big game player and
- 14:26Speaker 5: he is the biggest X factor in the entire game
- 14:28Speaker 5: because when he's getting rid of the ball quickly and
- 14:31Speaker 5: his time to throw in that NFC Championship was the
- 14:34Speaker 5: second fastest since Week eight. In making quick decisions, He's
- 14:38Speaker 5: an accurate thrower, He's a very talented thrower, especially outside
- 14:42Speaker 5: the numbers, and he has good players around him.
- 14:45Speaker 4: They're going to be very difficult to stop.
- 14:47Speaker 5: But when he's holding on to the ball and he's
- 14:50Speaker 5: not making quick decisions, and maybe Spagnolo confuses the offensive
- 14:54Speaker 5: line or him, then things get a little hairy.
- 14:57Speaker 4: But if you get that Jalen.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Hurts from the NFC Championship game, like watch out Eagles offense.
- 15:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean what happens with Jalen Hurts. The best
- 15:04Speaker 6: thing is the combination.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Just kind of like us, right, we need our teammates together.
- 15:08Speaker 7: Patrick's are O lying, You're Jalen Hurst.
- 15:10Speaker 6: I'm Saquon Barkley, and that's who I'm looking for in
- 15:12Speaker 6: this matchup. Obviously, I told you before the Chiefs are the.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Best tackling defense. But this guy is the yuck guy.
- 15:20Speaker 6: This guy is the guy who's taking the ball to
- 15:23Speaker 6: the outside, taking the ball to the inside.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Catching the ball.
- 15:25Speaker 6: He's kind of the do everything guy, and now they're
- 15:27Speaker 6: giving him all of these yards before contact.
- 15:29Speaker 7: Have you seen those quads?
- 15:30Speaker 6: Do you know what happens when he gets a full
- 15:32Speaker 6: head of steam and then runs into you much harder
- 15:34Speaker 6: to bring down.
- 15:35Speaker 7: There's so many.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Great stats about Saquon Barkley and so many fun things
- 15:39Speaker 6: that you could say, but the one that I'm looking
- 15:41Speaker 6: at specifically in this matchup is how many times, once
- 15:45Speaker 6: he's reached his full speed that he's been able to
- 15:47Speaker 6: get at least.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Five yards more after contact.
- 15:50Speaker 6: And news alert, spoiler alert, it's even more than Derek
- 15:54Speaker 6: Henry this woo. It's by far and away the most.
- 15:56Speaker 6: That's why those explosive players are working. That's why he's
- 15:59Speaker 6: getting those extra you know, really long rushes.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he almost doubles his yards before contact best season ever,
- 16:06Speaker 2: like double what he was able to do in his
- 16:09Speaker 2: best season against UH playing for the New York Giants.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I've got another piece of this offense, one that we
- 16:15Speaker 2: kind of sometimes forget, and that's Dallas Goddard and what
- 16:17Speaker 2: he brings for the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Now.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Perhaps had the worst performance on Super Bowl Opening Night
- 16:22Speaker 2: when he was asked what his favorite Taylor Swift song,
- 16:24Speaker 2: and he said, don't go chasing waterfalls, Dallas. The name
- 16:26Speaker 2: of the song is just Waterfalls. Is a TLC song.
- 16:28Speaker 2: It's legendary. I'll give him an excuse because maybe we
- 16:31Speaker 2: show our age a little bit, but he is.
- 16:34Speaker 7: He clearly thought of that one ahead of time.
- 16:36Speaker 4: That's wrong in so many different in.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Many aspects, Taylor did cover unpretty one time if we're
- 16:42Speaker 2: talking about TLC songs. But either way, when Dallas Goddard
- 16:46Speaker 2: is running crossers, when the Philadelphia run game is going,
- 16:49Speaker 2: when DeVante is opening on the outside, AJ has options.
- 16:52Speaker 2: There's just so many options for Jalen Hurts to hurt you.
- 16:55Speaker 2: And you often forget about Dallas Goddard, but I think
- 16:58Speaker 2: he is a key aspect to the offense in this game.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Let's flip it over to the Eagles defense. Correct.
- 17:03Speaker 2: So many guys can make plays. Which one are you
- 17:05Speaker 2: watching the most?
- 17:06Speaker 5: I'm gonna watch Milton Williams on the defensive line. He's
- 17:09Speaker 5: the defensive tackle next to Jalen Carter. We know Jalen
- 17:12Speaker 5: Carter is a difference maker and is gonna get double teams.
- 17:15Speaker 5: We know the edg Rushers have really improved. What I
- 17:17Speaker 5: think is getting missed is that Milton Williams has made
- 17:21Speaker 5: as much money as any player in the NFL with
- 17:25Speaker 5: his performance in these playoffs and really throughout the course
- 17:28Speaker 5: of the season. I think you might have been the
- 17:30Speaker 5: best defensive player on the field in the NFC Championship game.
- 17:33Speaker 5: He was dominant, had a ton of game changing pressures,
- 17:36Speaker 5: really blowing up the backfield on passing downs and on
- 17:39Speaker 5: running downs. And if you're a great interior rusher and
- 17:43Speaker 5: you're getting one on ones, I think there could be
- 17:46Speaker 5: mismatches here against the guards of the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 17:50Speaker 4: So keep an eye on Milton Williams.
- 17:51Speaker 5: There's bigger names around him, but he could be that
- 17:54Speaker 5: game wrecker, And this happens in the Super Bowl, the
- 17:57Speaker 5: guy you didn't see coming, forcing Patrick Mahomes and that
- 18:01Speaker 5: running game to really have to speed up what they
- 18:04Speaker 5: want to do.
- 18:05Speaker 6: Well, you're talking about a guy who we you know,
- 18:08Speaker 6: he's kind of really taking a step forward this postseason.
- 18:11Speaker 7: Well, now I'm talking about two guys.
- 18:12Speaker 6: Who they don't even maybe know how important this moment
- 18:15Speaker 6: is because they're both rookies. And that's Quinnon Mitchell and
- 18:18Speaker 6: Cooper Dejen these defensive backs have totally changed that. They're
- 18:22Speaker 6: the difference makers to me in this matchup between what
- 18:25Speaker 6: happens two seasons ago and now. If you look at
- 18:27Speaker 6: Quinyon Mitchell, just don't throw the ball to him in
- 18:30Speaker 6: the playoffs. Specifically, you're way, way, way better off throwing
- 18:33Speaker 6: the ball into the ground where you get to a
- 18:34Speaker 6: thirty nine point six passer rating than into his coverage.
- 18:36Speaker 7: It's like three. It's like something like three, something crazy
- 18:39Speaker 7: like that.
- 18:40Speaker 6: And then if you're looking at what happens in Nickel
- 18:42Speaker 6: whenever Cooper de Jean's been in, so when he came
- 18:44Speaker 6: in after week seven, Oh, it's just the fewest yards
- 18:48Speaker 6: allowed per attempt in the league when they're a Nickel.
- 18:51Speaker 4: No big deal.
- 18:52Speaker 6: But I think we were talking about, you know, all
- 18:54Speaker 6: the different ways Jade Deal's might not realize how hard it.
- 18:57Speaker 7: Is to get to where he's going.
- 18:58Speaker 6: I don't know if these two guys know how hard
- 19:00Speaker 6: it is to get where they're going. And if you
- 19:02Speaker 6: can get that pressure up front and back it up
- 19:04Speaker 6: with these guys in the back, that's going to be
- 19:06Speaker 6: really hard on the Chiefs.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yeah, especially considering Patrick Mahomes attempted a career high, almost
- 19:11Speaker 2: league high in terms of passes behind the line of scrimmage.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I think it's big for Cooper Degen in that aspect.
- 19:16Speaker 2: You got a couple of rookies. I'll take a second
- 19:18Speaker 2: year guy in Nolan Smith, and we saw the type
- 19:21Speaker 2: of trouble that the Eagles made for the Commanders on
- 19:23Speaker 2: the edge with Jadon Daniels, who know what he was
- 19:25Speaker 2: able to deal with on the edge all season long.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I think you have to be able to make the
- 19:30Speaker 2: decision process a little bit quicker for Patrick Mahomes win
- 19:34Speaker 2: he's out on the edge making plays, especially late in games.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And Nolan Smith has that speed and that ability to
- 19:41Speaker 2: cause that fraction of a second that I think can
- 19:44Speaker 2: lead that secondary to make some play. So Nolan Smith
- 19:47Speaker 2: will be my field of the Eagle defending.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Yeah, Jaden Daniels shoe off during that game, that's how fast.
- 19:51Speaker 3: That's tough. Pull his flag much. Let's get a shoe
- 19:55Speaker 3: off up next.
- 19:55Speaker 2: We're putting the biggest stars in Super Bowl fifty.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Nine head to head.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Love it.
- 19:59Speaker 3: They don't get to do that on the field.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Mahomes versus Hurts, Kelsey versus Goddard say Quadi is literally
- 20:05Speaker 2: anybody who's ready to light up the scoreboard, we'll tell
- 20:08Speaker 2: you when we come back on Game DEVIUT it's time
- 20:15Speaker 2: for Expert Playmakers, presented by Intuit Turbo tex As we
- 20:19Speaker 2: discuss some player pops.
- 20:20Speaker 3: So some big.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Quarterback show down between Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts. Greg
- 20:26Speaker 2: which quarterback is going to throw for more touchdowns on Sunday.
- 20:29Speaker 5: I mean, I've got a lot of Eagles choices here,
- 20:31Speaker 5: but what are we doing?
- 20:32Speaker 4: It's Patrick Mahomes.
- 20:33Speaker 5: It's the greatest player I've ever seen enter the league,
- 20:38Speaker 5: and he always plays his best in these games. And
- 20:41Speaker 5: it's just much more of a pass first offense. It's
- 20:44Speaker 5: more passing touchdowns Mahomes or Hurts. Now, if it was
- 20:47Speaker 5: more total touchdowns, that's a different prop, and that one
- 20:51Speaker 5: I might go in a different direction because of what
- 20:53Speaker 5: Jalen has done on the ground. But one of the
- 20:55Speaker 5: things I've loved to see out of Mahomes in this postseason,
- 20:57Speaker 5: I think he's been more willing to go for big
- 21:01Speaker 5: plays and go for the kind of jaw drop been
- 21:04Speaker 5: big time throws that made us love him when he
- 21:08Speaker 5: first was coming up and won his first Super Bowl.
- 21:11Speaker 5: And it's not that he's not trying in the regular season,
- 21:14Speaker 5: but I do think he's a little more willing to
- 21:16Speaker 5: try some things and take some risks in the postseason
- 21:19Speaker 5: that he doesn't in the regular all Right.
- 21:20Speaker 3: So as for who those risks are going to?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Who has more receiving yards in the game for the Chief,
- 21:25Speaker 2: Cynthia Hollywood Brown or Nuke Hopkins.
- 21:28Speaker 6: I know this is gonna sound crazy, but my answer
- 21:30Speaker 6: DeAndre Hopkins. Wow, large part because I think what Andy
- 21:34Speaker 6: Reid does is he finds those little plays here and
- 21:37Speaker 6: there all throughout.
- 21:38Speaker 7: The season that he hasn't used in a long time.
- 21:40Speaker 6: DeAndre Hopkins hasn't had the loudest postseason of any one
- 21:43Speaker 6: catch team.
- 21:44Speaker 7: Yeah, and you know what that means. Andy Reid knows
- 21:47Speaker 7: that too.
- 21:48Speaker 6: So ultimately, I'm looking at the opportunity for DeAndre Hopkins
- 21:51Speaker 6: and his ability to come down with contested catches. His body,
- 21:55Speaker 6: the way his body type works, He's always along the perimeter,
- 21:58Speaker 6: He's always up in a ton of traffic. Do you
- 22:00Speaker 6: remember a game against the Bills once when he was
- 22:02Speaker 6: a you know, playing for Arizona.
- 22:03Speaker 7: That a pretty nice catch.
- 22:05Speaker 6: Those are the types of things I think that they'll
- 22:06Speaker 6: be looking for in this matchup.
- 22:08Speaker 2: All right, So he hasn't necessarily had a historic postseason
- 22:11Speaker 2: Saquon Barkley has. He's been on a historic run. So
- 22:14Speaker 2: the question is, what do you even compare for Saquon Barkley?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Who do we put head to head for Saquon the
- 22:19Speaker 2: entire Chiefs offense? Who will have more rushing yards? I
- 22:22Speaker 2: still think it's going to be Saquon Barkley, who is
- 22:25Speaker 2: two yards away from having the most pre Super Bowl
- 22:27Speaker 2: yards in playoff history. He was two yards behind John Riggins.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Remember he checked one down, could have had that way
- 22:33Speaker 2: out of the way. He's thirty yards away from where
- 22:37Speaker 2: Sorell Davis was with the most yards in postseason history.
- 22:41Speaker 3: I think he gets that.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I believe in the Eagles defense, I think it's not close.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I think Saquon's going to outrush the entire Chiefs team.
- 22:49Speaker 2: So let's go back to Greg here. Who has more
- 22:51Speaker 2: receptions in the game? Travis Kelcey or Dallas Goddard.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Okay, I know Travis Kelsey always shows up in the
- 22:57Speaker 5: Super Bowl, but the numbers tell me it's Dallas godd Or.
- 22:59Speaker 5: What did the chief struggle to do more than anything
- 23:03Speaker 5: on office defense? Or special teams. It stopped the tight end.
- 23:08Speaker 5: It's one of the only things that they are truly
- 23:10Speaker 5: bad at. One of the worst teams in the league
- 23:13Speaker 5: in terms of success rate EPA per play up the
- 23:16Speaker 5: middle of the spine where Jalen Hurts can find Dallas Godder,
- 23:20Speaker 5: and it's not just gonna be on those post routes.
- 23:23Speaker 5: It's gonna be on some of those screens. They love
- 23:25Speaker 5: to use Dallas Godder.
- 23:26Speaker 4: After the Cats.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Heck, they had him in the backfield in the Conference
- 23:30Speaker 5: championship running the ball.
- 23:31Speaker 4: That shows how much they trust them.
- 23:32Speaker 5: So I'm going Dallas got it with a big one
- 23:34Speaker 5: on Super Bowl Sunday.
- 23:35Speaker 2: All right, let's move on to some defensive player, Cynthia.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Which linebacker has more tackles in this game? Nick Bolton
- 23:41Speaker 2: or Zach Bond.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Well, what did we talk about when you said it?
- 23:44Speaker 6: You mentioned it the short passes behind the line of
- 23:47Speaker 6: scrimmage that Patrick Mahomes is doing out a historic rate
- 23:50Speaker 6: also runs. So my answer here is going to be
- 23:52Speaker 6: Zach Bond, especially with Nikobe Dan not playing. I like Ornbrooks,
- 23:56Speaker 6: let me be Cleary, and he's had a great postseason,
- 23:58Speaker 6: But I still think Zach Bond is extra. I mean,
- 24:00Speaker 6: there's a reason that he had the accolades he's had
- 24:02Speaker 6: all season long. But if you're talking about offending stuff
- 24:04Speaker 6: in front of him, sorry, not going to get past him.
- 24:07Speaker 6: So I think it's I think it's Zach vond here
- 24:09Speaker 6: for more.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Tech got up to oron Burks or for him. He
- 24:12Speaker 5: was sneaky huge in that Super Bowl in a negative
- 24:16Speaker 5: way for the forty nine ers. So I just hope
- 24:18Speaker 5: that doesn't happen this time.
- 24:20Speaker 6: What we're talking about Zach bond here, I believe it
- 24:22Speaker 6: got a little shit.
- 24:22Speaker 4: The guys there.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I'm just oran Burks came in, made a huge play
- 24:26Speaker 2: in the NFC Championship.
- 24:27Speaker 3: I mean, there's there's opportunity. Revenge is always there.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Last one who has more sacks in this game two
- 24:35Speaker 2: very good interiorty lineman Chris Jones or Jalen Carter. I
- 24:38Speaker 2: am going to go with Jones here because it's so
- 24:40Speaker 2: difficult to get fifteen on the ground. Jalen Hurts might
- 24:45Speaker 2: hold onto the ball a little bit lead to a sack,
- 24:47Speaker 2: maybe too, maybe a.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Sack and a half.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Either way, I do think it's easier for Chris Jones
- 24:52Speaker 2: to get on the board, than it will be a
- 24:53Speaker 2: Jalen Carter who's going to have to deal with those
- 24:55Speaker 2: double teams. I mean, they both will, but I think
- 24:58Speaker 2: it's Chris Jones the guy who should have a Super
- 25:01Speaker 2: Bowl MVP. I try to say it every chance that
- 25:03Speaker 2: I am. Look at some totals in these Super Bowls
- 25:07Speaker 2: since twenty nineteen, the over has only hit once, but
- 25:12Speaker 2: it was when the Chiefs played the Eagles in Super
- 25:14Speaker 2: Bowl fifty seven. They're in Glendale, so the total for
- 25:17Speaker 2: Super Bowl fifty nine is forty nine points.
- 25:22Speaker 3: It's time to discuss over under.
- 25:25Speaker 2: We've got some foam fingers to dictate how we feel,
- 25:29Speaker 2: not dictate, to indicate how we feel about the scores.
- 25:32Speaker 3: And in this game, I've got the over.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I've got fifty six points, and that feels that that
- 25:38Speaker 2: feels a little like relatively like conservative, but no easy
- 25:43Speaker 2: over for me.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm with you. I've got sixty three points.
- 25:47Speaker 5: And you look at the last time these two teams
- 25:49Speaker 5: played in the Super Bowl, and then you just look
- 25:51Speaker 5: at the last games that these two teams played, the
- 25:54Speaker 5: Chiefs and the Bills. They got to sixty one and
- 25:56Speaker 5: that was freezing cold weather. The Commanders in the Eagles,
- 26:00Speaker 5: I actually can't even count that high. You gotta go
- 26:02Speaker 5: to Cynthia to figure out what like the total that
- 26:04Speaker 5: they got in this These are two offenses that I
- 26:07Speaker 5: think are playing their very best offense wins championships. Don't
- 26:11Speaker 5: let anyone tell you differently. I think it's going to
- 26:13Speaker 5: be a high scoring game.
- 26:14Speaker 6: I mean, I'm the most conservative amongst the three of us,
- 26:16Speaker 6: and I'm at fifty five, so I.
- 26:18Speaker 7: Too believe that it is.
- 26:19Speaker 6: More than the total number with forty nine, whatever it is.
- 26:22Speaker 6: So I think this is going to be an interesting
- 26:24Speaker 6: one though, because both defenses are something.
- 26:26Speaker 7: That we talk about.
- 26:26Speaker 6: However, it's the masterminding of the offenses that really drives
- 26:30Speaker 6: us one.
- 26:30Speaker 2: For me, all right, let's keep more or less going here.
- 26:35Speaker 2: As we get into some player props. Patrick Mahomes ran
- 26:38Speaker 2: for sixty six yards in last year's Super Bowl, Cynthia.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Does he run for over thirty yards on Sunday?
- 26:44Speaker 7: Yes, he does.
- 26:46Speaker 6: The model says at least thirty two and fifty percent
- 26:48Speaker 6: of simulations. If you look at just the year number
- 26:50Speaker 6: we've been talking about it, it's tripled threefold increase in
- 26:55Speaker 6: terms of number of rushing attempts, be they scrambles or not,
- 26:57Speaker 6: who cares. They all come as the same thing for
- 26:59Speaker 6: our purposes here. So I think this is going to
- 27:01Speaker 6: be a really good opportunity. Whenever his offense line, especially
- 27:05Speaker 6: on the left, is under a little bit of pressure.
- 27:07Speaker 6: Run to the right, my friend, Run to the right.
- 27:09Speaker 5: You know they got those three and a half weeks off,
- 27:12Speaker 5: and people wonder, well, is that going to be rust
- 27:14Speaker 5: And then I've watched Patrick Mahomes running faster than he's
- 27:17Speaker 5: run all season long.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I've seen Kareem Hunt look.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Like you just had a long vacation, which he essentially did,
- 27:22Speaker 5: and looking fresher. This is what happens when you're the
- 27:25Speaker 5: one seed and you only lose one game. Patrick Mahomes
- 27:28Speaker 5: actually picks up speed.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Yeah, rest is good breaking news. Let's go to receiving arcs.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Because AJ Brown is a spectacular wide receiver. The question
- 27:37Speaker 2: is only have more or less than seventy one and
- 27:39Speaker 2: a half receiving year.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I had to go yes.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Here I mentioned the outside advantage that I think Philadelphia
- 27:45Speaker 5: has in the passing game. I just don't think the
- 27:48Speaker 5: Chiefs are at their best covering those deep passes down
- 27:51Speaker 5: the field. Ultimately, aj Brown for much of this season
- 27:55Speaker 5: was a first team All Pro. To me, it was him,
- 27:58Speaker 5: it was JJ, it was Jamar. Chase got a little
- 28:01Speaker 5: banged up, had some slow moments in the playoffs. We
- 28:05Speaker 5: needed assistant coach Brandon Graham to set things right for em.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Jalen Hurts, but he is smoking now. Coming into the
- 28:11Speaker 5: Super Bowl with a week off and coming off a
- 28:14Speaker 5: great af NFC championship game, I think he has a
- 28:16Speaker 5: big day.
- 28:17Speaker 6: I think if you kind of it makes sense, right,
- 28:19Speaker 6: logical sense. We all think a lot of points, we
- 28:21Speaker 6: all think a lot of scoring. If you're an under enthusiast,
- 28:24Speaker 6: that could be the one that I think maybe you
- 28:26Speaker 6: switched the Devonte Smith number for. But that's only if
- 28:28Speaker 6: you're an under enthusiast and who likes that Deander's no fun.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah, take that, under enthusiast, I'll take the last one.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Will Travis Kelce's longest reception in the game be over
- 28:37Speaker 2: nineteen and a half yards?
- 28:39Speaker 4: Greg, I say, under.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I think it will be, And I'll tell you exactly.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I'll tell you exactly how it's going to happen. It's
- 28:45Speaker 2: going to be a second and seven. Travis Kelcey is
- 28:48Speaker 2: going to curl up about twelve yards away from the
- 28:50Speaker 2: line of scrimmage. He's going to catch the ball, He's
- 28:52Speaker 2: going to do what appears to be a glacially slow turn,
- 28:55Speaker 2: which is going to cause a defender to fall down,
- 28:57Speaker 2: and he's going to go for twenty two yards. That
- 29:00Speaker 2: is my prediction, because like taking the other side of
- 29:04Speaker 2: this feels like something I would do at my peril.
- 29:07Speaker 2: But you know, as an under enthusiast, that.
- 29:09Speaker 4: Move has never not worked.
- 29:11Speaker 5: It ever, every time Travis Kelcey just puts a little
- 29:14Speaker 5: bit of a fake to the right.
- 29:16Speaker 4: And then Carlson left, it works.
- 29:17Speaker 5: I don't know his nineteen and a half yards though,
- 29:20Speaker 5: It just takes a little longer than it used to.
- 29:23Speaker 4: So I'm thinking about.
- 29:25Speaker 5: The regular season, and maybe I shouldn't when there wasn't
- 29:28Speaker 5: a lot of explosive plays from Kelsey.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yeah, all the fast people were chasing him. But now
- 29:33Speaker 2: theyve as you pointed out, they've got more fast people
- 29:35Speaker 2: on the field that are more of an issue to cover.
- 29:38Speaker 2: When we come back, folks, we're gonna finally make our picks.
- 29:40Speaker 2: So who's gonna actually win Super Bowl fifty nine?
- 29:43Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Have you been tracking each decision to say, well, I
- 29:47Speaker 2: think Cynthia's going with the Chiefs, or I think it's
- 29:49Speaker 2: the Eagles.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Is Casey Dustin forward?
- 29:51Speaker 4: Three?
- 29:51Speaker 3: P is never revenge for Philly? All that, plus who's
- 29:56Speaker 3: gonna win the MVP.
- 29:57Speaker 2: That's coming up next on game debut. Oh, what a
- 30:05Speaker 2: beautiful opportunity and a beautiful play. Shout out to New Orleans, Louisiana,
- 30:08Speaker 2: the Caesar super Dome site of Super Bowl fifty nine,
- 30:12Speaker 2: and how appropriate it's Tom for us to seize the
- 30:14Speaker 2: season presented by Caesar Sportsbook. As we're looking at the
- 30:19Speaker 2: first touchdown score odds on Sunday, Saquon and Jalen Hurts
- 30:24Speaker 2: leading the way, followed up by Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelsey
- 30:27Speaker 2: and Xavier Worthy.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Is we finally made it? Guys, it's Tom for us
- 30:33Speaker 3: to make You.
- 30:34Speaker 6: Looked at me with some consternation there, Greg.
- 30:35Speaker 5: What was I'm still trying to decide what my pick
- 30:38Speaker 5: is going to be?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Like?
- 30:38Speaker 7: Oh got it?
- 30:39Speaker 4: Okay, He's like looked over like moment, Yeah, I.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Mean, we gotta run down.
- 30:42Speaker 2: But Greg's a wildcard. He can make a change at
- 30:44Speaker 2: any point. As we get to our picks, the Chiefs
- 30:47Speaker 2: looking to become the first team in history to win
- 30:49Speaker 2: three consecutive Super Bowls, Jalen Hurts and Saquon trying to
- 30:52Speaker 2: get their first winning rings.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Who is winning Super Bowl fifty nine? Greg Rosenthal?
- 30:57Speaker 4: It has to be the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Thirty three to thirty is the score. When you think
- 31:03Speaker 5: about the NFL lately, maybe you're thinking it's all a
- 31:06Speaker 5: little too similar. Four of the last six years in
- 31:10Speaker 5: the Super Bowl, it's been either forty nine Ers Chiefs
- 31:13Speaker 5: or Eagles Chiefs.
- 31:14Speaker 4: So what do you do to change that up?
- 31:17Speaker 5: You add a new player to the dynamic, and that
- 31:20Speaker 5: player has defined that season this season, and that player
- 31:23Speaker 5: is Saquon Barkley. In the same way that Patrick Mahomes
- 31:27Speaker 5: came into our lives and won that MVP back in
- 31:29Speaker 5: twenty eighteen and then won the Super Bowl in twenty nineteen,
- 31:32Speaker 5: Saquon Barkley has come to this Eagles team and he's
- 31:35Speaker 5: changed the entire landscape. They are the most talented team
- 31:40Speaker 5: in the NFL if you go through the rosters at
- 31:42Speaker 5: most positions, I'm taking Eagles over Chiefs, but they haven't
- 31:47Speaker 5: been able to match them in terms of their best player.
- 31:49Speaker 5: And I know It's a running back, and running backs
- 31:51Speaker 5: don't matter as much as quarterbacks. But this running back
- 31:54Speaker 5: plus this offensive line in this season does matter just
- 31:58Speaker 5: as much as Patrick Mahomes and Saquon Barkley has had
- 32:01Speaker 5: a season we will be talking about for the rest
- 32:04Speaker 5: of our lives. And the only way that that season
- 32:07Speaker 5: can finish is with him up on the podium winning
- 32:09Speaker 5: that MVP Award. With like one hundred and seventy total
- 32:12Speaker 5: yards from scrimmage thirty three to thirty.
- 32:14Speaker 4: The Eagles get it done.
- 32:17Speaker 7: I don't know how I can follow that.
- 32:18Speaker 6: However, I do have a one point win for the Eagles.
- 32:21Speaker 7: My model a little bit surprised me. I guess if
- 32:24Speaker 7: I'm picking with my gut, I would have gone with
- 32:26Speaker 7: the Chiefs.
- 32:26Speaker 6: However, the model has twenty eight to twenty seven. Same
- 32:29Speaker 6: model that got me here, same model that went about
- 32:31Speaker 6: seventy two percent for the season. So I have to
- 32:34Speaker 6: trust it here.
- 32:34Speaker 7: On this one. I had to get that in. They're
- 32:36Speaker 7: just in the one.
- 32:37Speaker 4: And that got you Eagles Chiefs before this season.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Hey, you know, But ultimately to me, Dallas.
- 32:41Speaker 6: Goddard is one of the biggest difference makers. Greg talked
- 32:44Speaker 6: about it earlier this is an area where the Chiefs
- 32:47Speaker 6: have a weakness. And if there's one thing that I
- 32:50Speaker 6: think is going to be hard, it's picking your poison.
- 32:52Speaker 7: Which poison are you going to pick?
- 32:53Speaker 6: You to pick the aj Brown poison, take one, to
- 32:56Speaker 6: take one Barkley poison that Ivanta Smith that you're.
- 32:58Speaker 7: Gonna have to pick one.
- 32:59Speaker 6: And Dallas Goddard to me, has the best opportunity to
- 33:02Speaker 6: be in the spot right where Jalen Hurts needs him
- 33:04Speaker 6: at the moment that he needs.
- 33:05Speaker 7: Him, with just enough time.
- 33:06Speaker 6: And I mean, if they're going to give him that
- 33:08Speaker 6: much separation, then maybe it's a lot of Dallas gotter,
- 33:10Speaker 6: but ultimately that's going to be a different surprise.
- 33:12Speaker 4: The model won't with the Eagles. Now you gotta go
- 33:14Speaker 4: Chiefs here.
- 33:15Speaker 5: Well, I mean we cannot be given a Memeler against
- 33:18Speaker 5: the best team of all time.
- 33:20Speaker 2: It's important to have differences, and I think a lot
- 33:22Speaker 2: of things are different than the last time the Eagles
- 33:24Speaker 2: played the Chiefs, but we're not different in our picks.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Winning a wow Argan than Cynthia and Greg. I've got
- 33:33Speaker 2: thirty two to twenty because Vic Fanjo isn't coming in
- 33:36Speaker 2: as a consultant he's actually coordinated this defense. Quinnon, Mitchell, Cooper, Dejean,
- 33:43Speaker 2: all these guys were not Eagles. But it's Nolan Smith,
- 33:46Speaker 2: it is Jalen Carter. It's a couple of dogs, and
- 33:48Speaker 2: I think are the reason that the Eagles are winning
- 33:51Speaker 2: this game because, as Greg pointed out, there's just a good,
- 33:53Speaker 2: solid team positioned by position all across the board. And yes,
- 33:58Speaker 2: like there is samness, the Chiefs are good. Patrick Mahomes
- 34:00Speaker 2: is still a rare and good quarterback. But sometimes you
- 34:03Speaker 2: lose games. So sometimes we lose games because there's an
- 34:05Speaker 2: overwhelming talent differential, and I think.
- 34:08Speaker 3: That talent differential.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Who favors the Philadelphia Eagles NFL Game to View is

- 34:30Speaker 2: to get the full terms. Now there's a secondary question
- 34:33Speaker 2: the Eagles win the Super Bowl. As we all selected
- 34:36Speaker 2: who's going to win the MVP, here are the odds.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes of course the far and away favorite, and
- 34:41Speaker 2: then Saquon and Jalen Hurts. So let us make our
- 34:44Speaker 2: picks for the Super Bowl fifty nine MVP.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Who is yours? Greg Wilson.
- 34:48Speaker 5: I just made a whole big speech about how saquin
- 34:50Speaker 5: and Barclay is going to be holding the the MVP,
- 34:52Speaker 5: But actually I'm going to Jalen Hurts for this question.
- 34:55Speaker 4: He's the quarterback. I like the odds better.
- 34:57Speaker 5: It's more about the value you have a running back
- 34:59Speaker 5: there as a pretty heavy favorite to be the MVP.
- 35:02Speaker 5: I do think people get into narratives. Barkley would be
- 35:05Speaker 5: a great narrative. But if Jalen Hurts puts together like
- 35:08Speaker 5: a two hundred and fifty yard two touchdown type of game,
- 35:11Speaker 5: I think everyone would really get on board with. Hey,
- 35:14Speaker 5: let's give this quarterback his shine. He has been so
- 35:17Speaker 5: important for this team. Quarterbacks almost always win this award.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Let's go Jalen.
- 35:21Speaker 2: And you know, Jalen Hurts already has like a rolodex
- 35:24Speaker 2: of very hard quotes that people are gonna put on
- 35:26Speaker 2: Instagram if he gets that award, which Cindya generally goes
- 35:30Speaker 2: to quarterback, Like you have to do something really special
- 35:32Speaker 2: to win this award as a not quarterback.
- 35:34Speaker 6: Thirty three quarterbacks, eight wide receivers, seven running backs, only
- 35:37Speaker 6: ten total defensive players. Ever, but I'm thinking Jalen Carter,
- 35:40Speaker 6: might you are eleventh in these MVP. Why Well, we
- 35:44Speaker 6: know that the old line is an issue, and I
- 35:45Speaker 6: know Jalen Carter kind of lines up not in the
- 35:47Speaker 6: area on the left side, he'd be on the offensive right. However,
- 35:50Speaker 6: he can be such a huge wrecking ball that he
- 35:53Speaker 6: could even make Creed Humphrey look like not as good
- 35:55Speaker 6: as a player as he is, and Humphrey is electric.
- 35:58Speaker 6: So when I'm looking at the opportunity here to go
- 36:00Speaker 6: a little off menu, to go a little bit value shopping,
- 36:03Speaker 6: to go a little bit of upside looking, I'm going
- 36:05Speaker 6: for Jalen Carter because we know the quarterbacks probably are
- 36:08Speaker 6: going to get it sake one probably after.
- 36:10Speaker 7: That, but why not be fun? We like fun. Jalen Carter?
- 36:13Speaker 2: All right, So we got two quarterback picks there, myself
- 36:15Speaker 2: and Greg and Cynthia going off the board with a
- 36:17Speaker 2: defensive lineman. Thanks for watching Game debut presented by Caesar
- 36:21Speaker 2: Sportsbook All season. We hope you enjoy Super Bowl fifty
- 36:23Speaker 2: nine for Cynthia and greg I Patrick, See you next year.
