Warren Buffett Pauses Gates Foundation Donation Amid Epstein Review (6/30/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to Bill Gates, the fallout
0:08
due to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein continues to rain down,
0:13
and now it's affecting the bottom line, and that's because
0:16
Warren Buffett has decided to pause his donations to the
0:21
Gates Foundation for the first time in twenty years. And
0:25
it's all fueled by Bill Gates and his relationship with
0:29
Jeffrey Epstein. And not just the relationship. Remember the lies,
0:35
Remember how he tried to distance himself without coming clean.
0:39
And then ask yourself why a guy like Warren Buffett
0:43
would want to do business with a guy like Bill Gates.
0:46
It's just not going to happen. Warren Buffett's one of
0:49
the few people that we haven't seen caught up with
0:52
Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit, and I think a lot of that
0:56
probably has to do with the fact that Warren Buffett
0:58
he knows better and he's not naive. Jeffrey Epstein didn't
1:02
offer anything to a guy like Warren Buffett, and to
1:06
tell you the truth, he didn't offer anything to a
1:08
guy like Bill Gates either. But Bill Gates has his
1:11
own proclivities. As we've heard, how many affairs are you
1:15
going to have on your wife? Dude? Just leave her.
1:18
So of course he's going to find a fellow traveler
1:21
in Jeffrey Epstein. Now does that mean Bill Gates was
1:24
engaging in abuse? No, but he had the same proclivities
1:28
like those Eastern European girls, and Jeffrey Epstein will perfect
1:32
guy to hang out with, right Bill Gates. But now
1:37
that Bill's come and do and it looks like it's
1:39
going to have a significant cost. So today we have
1:43
an article from The Independent and the headline Warren Buffett
1:46
freezes Gates Foundation donation as Epstein questions resurface. This article
1:52
was authored by Paul Farrell. Warren Buffett is reportedly withholding
1:57
his customary mid year multi billion dollars donation to the
2:01
Gates Foundation waiting for the findings of an internal review
2:04
into the organization's connections with the late convicted sex offender
2:08
Jeffrey Epstein. Well, we know the review is going to
2:11
come back. Rosie. Ah, there was nothing to see here.
2:14
This is all overblown. Bill Gates was just misled, just
2:18
another victim, just another guy that got manipulated by the
2:22
master manipulator Jeffrey Epstein. That's the narrative they want you
2:26
to buy, and folks, I'm not buying it. The Wall
2:31
Street Journal first reported the delay on Monday. The foundation
2:34
has faced scrutiny following revelations of chairman Bill gates association
2:38
with Epstein. Further controversy arose in January when the US
2:43
Justice Department released emails showing communications between Epstein and staff
2:48
at the Gates Foundation, especially considering Bill Gates hasn't been
2:52
exactly truthful and we don't need every juicy detail, right,
2:57
but he just straight up lied. He tried to paint
3:01
the whole entire relationship built around charitable giving. But that's
3:05
not the whole truth, is it. Now that's a good shield,
3:09
and that's some good protection. But you mean to tell
3:13
me that Bill Gates need Jeffrey Epstein's money. He did not.
3:18
He knew what Jeffrey Epstein was. Maybe not the full extent,
3:21
but he knew, and guess what, he didn't care. Mark Sussman,
3:27
CEO of the Gates Foundation, initiated an external review to
3:31
examine past engagements with Epstein, with results anticipated this summer.
3:36
Buffett is expected to make his donation decision later in
3:39
the year, potentially coinciding with his Thanksgiving letter, according to
3:43
sources familiar with his plan, cited by The Wall Street Journal. Now,
3:48
is Warren Buffett just doing the right thing here or
3:51
does he really believe that there's some damning information that's
3:54
come out or that's gonna come out. It could be
3:58
that Buffet's just playing it safe. Look, we're gonna sit
4:01
on the sidelines. We're gonna let this play out. We're
4:04
gonna see what the review says, and then we'll go
4:06
from there. That would be the shrewd play and that's
4:09
probably what we're gonna see from Warren Buffett. And if
4:13
he doesn't like even a little bit of what's found
4:16
in that review, my guess is that Warren Buffett's gonna
4:19
pull back completely. Reuters could not immediately verify the report,
4:24
and Berkshire Hathaway and the Gates Foundation did not respond
4:27
to a request for comment. Buffett, the ninety five year
4:31
old chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, has contributed over forty seven
4:35
billion in conglomerate stock to the Gates Foundation over the
4:39
past two decades. Forty seven billion dollars. How much of
4:44
that money has gotten to the people or to these programs,
4:48
and how much of it has ended up in the
4:50
pockets of oligarts. My guess is the vast majority of
4:54
it has found its way into the pockets of rich people,
4:58
and not into uote unquote medicine research, unless we're talking
5:03
about some island of Doctor Moreau type shit, because that's
5:06
certainly possible. Gates testified before Congress earlier this month stating
5:11
that he did not fully understand the extent of Jeffrey
5:14
Epstein's crimes during their association, which he claim was aimed
5:18
at raising money for his philanthropic foundation. Epstein was the
5:22
only game in town, right, the only guy who had
5:25
any money. There are so many rich people that it's
5:29
not funny. And to think that a lot of these
5:34
people wouldn't want to jump into bed with Bill Gates
5:36
and have this kind of shine on them is ridiculous.
5:40
He talks all this nonsense about all these other people
5:43
who weren't willing to, you know, donate or whatever. But
5:45
you notice he doesn't have much to say about Glenn Dubin,
5:48
who Jeffrey Epstein obviously introduced to Bill Gates. And then
5:53
how much did Dubin donate to the Gates Foundation or
5:58
whatever dumbass name you have for it. Oh, that's right,
6:01
a ton of money. And I wish Congress would oppressed
6:03
him on that, but of course they didn't. I remember,
6:06
according to James Comer, Bill Gates was very forthcoming and
6:08
he answered our questions. Gates has maintained that he never
6:12
witnessed any criminal conduct from Epstein and accused Epstein of
6:16
Blackmailingham over extra marital affairs. These affairs had nothing to
6:20
do with my interactions with Jeffrey Epstein, but they were
6:24
painful for my family, Gates said in his opening statement.
6:27
Epstein was working to use this information about my infidelities,
6:31
in addition to many lies that he layered on top
6:34
to pressure me to re engage with him. And I'll
6:37
tell you what, that's kind of weird, considering the Justice
6:39
Department told us that nobody was blackmailed, that there was
6:43
no evidence that anything like that occurred. Meanwhile, you got
6:46
Bill Gates up here testifying that that's exactly what happened.
6:52
Congress has been investigating the Justice Department's handling of the
6:56
Epstein case. Gates testimony focused on his contacts with the
6:59
con vidicted sex offender who exploited vulnerable women and girls.
7:04
The Microsoft Corp. Founder provided private testimony to the House
7:08
Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is probing potential federal
7:12
mismanagement in the cases against Epstein and his associate Gulaine Maxwell,
7:18
among related issues and considering they said that this is
7:21
systemic and that there were so many issues BOP wide,
7:26
then I would expect people to get fired at the
7:28
end of all of this. Right people to be called
7:30
in who worked on the original Epstein situation, people that
7:35
were in the jail, people that made the decisions above them,
7:39
And while we're at it, why not call in Mark Philippe.
7:43
Representative James Comer, the Republican committee chairman, had requested Gates
7:47
appear for an in person transcribed interview in a March letter.
7:51
Gates reportedly hired Jay Greenberg, the Oversight Panel's former chief
7:55
investigative official, to prepare for his appearance, though a committee
7:59
spokesperson since stated they have not worked with Greenberg since
8:02
his departure. The fix is in, let me go and
8:07
get somebody that worked as an investigator for the House
8:09
Oversight Committee that's going to be questioning me and this
8:13
is how it works. When you have money, you can
8:15
make these moves. You can entice people to do shit.
8:18
You can get people to jump teams, just like we
8:21
saw down in South Florida when all those prosecutors who
8:24
had previously worked on the Epstein case decided to jump
8:27
ship and start working for Epstein himself, and according to
8:30
the DOJ, that's all good. Epstein pleaded guilty to a
8:35
Florida state felony prostitution charge in two thousand and eight,
8:39
serving thirteen months in jail. Federal prosecutors charged them with
8:43
sex trafficking of minors in twenty nineteen, but he pleaded
8:47
not guilty and died by suicide allegedly later that year
8:51
before his trial. Fox News is all in on suicide now. Meanwhile,
8:56
for years they were the biggest promoter of Epstein didn't
8:59
kill himself, but now that it's not politically convenient, while
9:03
Fox is singing a new tune. Documents released by the
9:06
Justice Department this year indicated that Gates and Epstein met
9:09
repeatedly after Epstein's two thousand and eight prison term to
9:13
discuss expanding the tech billionaire's philanthropic efforts, and it never
9:18
made sense. I don't mean to keep going back to this,
9:21
But when you have as much money as Bill Gates,
9:23
doesn't make sense to try and chase Jeffrey Epstein down
9:27
to get money from him. Of course it doesn't. If
9:30
he doesn't pony up right away, you keep it moving.
9:33
So there was another reason why Bill Gates wanted to
9:36
hang out with Epstein. What that reason is, we just
9:40
don't know yet. The documents also included redacted photographs of
9:44
Gates with females. Gates has previously characterized as relationship with
9:48
Epstein as limited to philanthropy related discussions, and has acknowledged
9:53
it was a mistake to meet with them, but he
9:56
kept doing it. The only reason he had as any
10:00
kinds of contrition is because he's been outed and it's
10:03
costing him financially. Besides that, do you really think Bill
10:07
Gates gives a shit about any of those girls that
10:10
were abused. A spokesperson for the Gates Foundation confirmed that
10:15
Gates took responsibility for his actions during a February town
10:19
hall meeting with the employees. The controversy surrounding gates relationship
10:23
with Epstein prompted the Gates Foundation to launch its own
10:27
external review in April, further fueled by the January release
10:31
of Justice Department emails showing communication between Epstein and Foundation staff. So,
10:37
as of now this has cost Bill Gates Warren Buffett.
10:41
Now is that going to be a permanent thing or
10:44
is Warren Buffet going to come back to the table
10:46
after this report? And if he doesn't come back, how
10:50
many other investors are going to leave with them? I
10:52
think that's a big question too. So, like usual, we'll
10:56
keep an eye on this one and when we have
10:58
some more information or the other will get it added
11:01
to the catalog. All the information that goes with this
11:04
episode can be found in the description box.
