0:48
Speaker 2: I had a really great conversation down there and I want to fill you in.
0:52
Speaker 2: Plus, I had a big announcement yesterday.
0:55
Speaker 2: I caught that announcement yesterday.
0:56
Speaker 1: I did briefly.
0:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, man, it looks like they're trying to go for Google's neck.
1:00
Speaker 2: Every time I tell somebody about it, I feel that way.
1:04
Speaker 2: D-hustle is going to cover some current events with us, some tech current events and news.
1:07
Speaker 2: Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray.
1:09
Speaker 2: There he goes.
1:12
Speaker 2: Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray, is going to give us some nuggets, right?
1:17
Speaker 2: You got at least a few of them on there and I think also a movie premiere too.
1:20
Speaker 2: No, no, a movie review.
1:21
Speaker 2: You said that is correct.
1:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, give you some feedback and then we're going to be back at it with d hustle, with some sports.
1:26
Speaker 2: I know the nba is, uh, getting really close to the end and then we have a special spot for our sponsors.
1:32
Speaker 2: A big shout out to them, um, and then I'll close this out at the end.
1:36
Speaker 2: How does that sound for y'all today?
1:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:38
Speaker 2: Well, you're giving a round of applause.
1:39
Speaker 2: All right, audience, let's get this thing started hereios.
1:43
Speaker 2: So let's cue up the music for us to jump into Tech Talk real quick.
1:46
Speaker 2: We got an old join.
1:47
Speaker 2: I mean, every time I hear this, I think of season number two.
1:51
Speaker 2: Well, well, well.
1:55
Speaker 2: So I'm going to talk to you all a little bit about tech.
1:58
Speaker 2: This is the Tech Talk section that I usually spend some time talking about, either something that I'm working on, a cool project, or, in general, just to talk to y'all a little bit about tech, because I think there's a few things that's happened recently that I definitely want to dive into, especially when we talk about open AI.
2:13
Speaker 2: But Tech Tuesday.
2:14
Speaker 2: So how'd y'all like Tech Tuesday down in Miami?
2:16
Speaker 2: It was good.
2:18
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, right, when you went two weeks ago, right, yeah I went almost a month ago with you.
2:22
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, good, I liked it.
2:30
Speaker 2: It's a nice little spot.
2:31
Speaker 2: It's over at a restaurant called red rooster.
2:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, in over town, the same spot, same exact spot, same exact spot.
2:33
Speaker 2: Upstairs, uh, the nice little hallway to go up there, and then obviously the lounge spot.
2:36
Speaker 2: I will say it was a little hot up there though yeah it definitely, uh, south florida.
2:42
Speaker 2: You know how the season of the year comes, even if it's sunset time.
2:45
Speaker 2: You know the community can really Take it up high.
2:47
Speaker 2: But we had a really good time and this time around.
2:51
Speaker 2: I'm confused, though.
2:51
Speaker 3: I thought you said it was hot out there.
2:52
Speaker 3: You said that correctly.
2:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, it was hot, but you suffer from being.
2:56
Speaker 2: Always cold right.
2:57
Speaker 3: I'm confused.
2:58
Speaker 3: Make up your mind.
3:00
Speaker 2: I will say it was humid more than hot.
3:02
Speaker 2: I was definitely sweating more than normal.
3:04
Speaker 3: I was drenched.
3:05
Speaker 3: I got a lot of you.
3:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, I was dying out there.
3:07
Speaker 2: I know you were.
3:08
Speaker 1: And they're like that.
3:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it was hot.
3:09
Speaker 2: Plus, D-Hustle was running the pool table over there too.
3:13
Speaker 1: So it was killing out there.
3:15
Speaker 2: But we had a chance to run into a few really cool people, really cool organizations, and let me just tell you a little bit quick about what Tech Tuesday is.
3:23
Speaker 2: So it's a weekly meetup that started out by I believe the Source is the group called over there Big shout outs to Hillman, big shout outs to Ted, but definitely so much appreciated for y'all to give me a chance to go out there and speak.
3:39
Speaker 2: But what they're doing is creating a weekly meetup so that if anybody's in tech down here in South Florida, from Palm Beach all the way down to Miami, we pull up at this spot on Tuesday.
3:47
Speaker 2: There's some drinks, conversations, but the main thing is that they usually have a guest speaker that pulls up, and this past week, guess who was out there?
3:54
Speaker 2: Bobby D, your boy, bobby D, yes, yeah.
3:59
Speaker 2: So they gave me a chance to speak on stage, basically talking about my journey from Twitter to becoming a tech leader, but ultimately just understanding the struggle that some of us have in this industry, but also highlighting some of the great things we've done, because there are so many hidden figures out there and that was one thing that really came up.
4:18
Speaker 2: That conversation is like how many hidden figures, how much our people, in terms of melanated people, have been doing some great things in tech, but nobody really knows it's us right?
4:28
Speaker 2: So I really just jumped into the conversation about talking about my time at Twitter, talking about the impact in terms of just technical impact that I had in that environment, and then obviously jumping quickly into talking about our new journey here at the Tech Hustle, really just focusing on motivating and inspiring the next generation of engineers.
4:42
Speaker 2: Jumping quickly into, you know, talking about our new journey here at the tech hustle, um, really just focusing on, you know, motivate and inspire the next generation of engineers.
4:48
Speaker 2: Um, and I think it was well received.
4:50
Speaker 2: What do you think about that?
4:51
Speaker 2: D hustle?
4:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've got a a few instagram posts.
4:55
Speaker 2: I got a few new linkedin followers, so that usually uh implies that you know I did okay, I did all right how long was the?
5:01
Speaker 2: Talk.
5:01
Speaker 2: Uh.
5:02
Speaker 2: So it was uh like TED Talk style 15 minutes and then five minutes question and answer.
5:08
Speaker 2: There were some decent questions, just ultimately talking about, you know, the tech culture down here in South Florida and ultimately like comparing it to the Bay Area and seeing how close we are and also the enthusiasticness about tech down in South Florida.
5:23
Speaker 1: So did you use slides?
5:26
Speaker 2: So originally I did the deck with a few slides and then I kind of read the room and I was like you know what, I'm not going to make this too formal, I just want to make it more conversational based.
5:35
Speaker 2: So I had them just put a chair there and I just had the mic and just chopped it up with them for 15 minutes.
5:41
Speaker 2: If it's an hour-long presentation, then yeah, definitely some slides, minutes, you know okay, uh, if it's an hour-long presentation, then yeah, definitely some slides.
5:45
Speaker 2: But you know me, I'm always good for conversation.
5:48
Speaker 2: So yeah, I think it flowed very well all right good, yeah, man, I wish you were there yeah next time around, bro for sure because I need you, you, you or d hustle next time needs to be doing the intro, or what I was really thinking is we should start to host our own kind of like meetup tech Tuesday type stuff and actually that's a plug.
6:09
Speaker 2: We do meet up every Thursday online at six o'clock PM.
6:13
Speaker 2: The tech hustle holds our community meeting.
6:16
Speaker 2: If y'all want to pull up and talk to us, chat up with us, find out what we're working on.
6:20
Speaker 2: We ain't got to wait until tech Tuesday and me getting invited to somebody to hear me speak.
6:24
Speaker 2: Just pull up to our community meeting and definitely find us on school but go to our website that's probably the best and easy way TheTechHustlecom.
6:33
Speaker 2: Click on Join Community and then you get access to our calendar of how frequently we meet, because we meet on every Thursday 6 pm.
6:39
Speaker 1: Eastern.
6:40
Speaker 2: Time.
6:40
Speaker 2: So come and holler at your boy in time.
6:45
Speaker 2: So come and holler at your boy.
6:46
Speaker 2: Big shout out to that whole uh organization out there.
6:47
Speaker 2: And yeah, definitely appreciate uh the invite from the source, uh, for me to come out there and speak, um, and yeah, we're going to be down there more often.
6:53
Speaker 2: I'm hoping, um, because that's where the scene is, and definitely want to liven it up a little bit.
6:56
Speaker 2: So then, the next thing that I want to do, the second topic that I want to cover uh today, is, uh, our.
7:04
Speaker 2: If y'all haven't been listening, y'all need to start watching our past recordings, as we've been talking about AI since the beginning of time, since we first begun this freaking podcast.
7:13
Speaker 2: What'd you say?
7:14
Speaker 1: It's a buzzword.
7:15
Speaker 2: It definitely is a buzzword, but in terms of like our use case for it and the definitely us watching and watching it grow, I'm already like blowing out my mind on this last new announcement from OpenAI.
7:28
Speaker 2: Did you caught it, raymond?
7:30
Speaker 1: I saw on one of my feeds yesterday on YouTube and I saw a three-minute demo on one of the stuff I'm subscribed to.
7:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, so they recently released, on May 13th, their newest model, which I don't really understand the name.
7:46
Speaker 2: Why didn't they just call it the next iteration of it?
7:49
Speaker 2: But, it's called GPT-4-O and the O is the letter O, like a lowercase o, and I believe that O implies that it's a multimodal type model, and I'll explain it to you.
8:03
Speaker 2: So most of the ways that we're interacting with models or AI or large language models is through text or chat, right.
8:10
Speaker 2: You say hey, hi, my name is this, and they reply back with something, or you ask them a prompt or a question and then they reply back.
8:16
Speaker 2: We have seen some introduction of people uploading images and then the AI being able to see what's going on, and or uploading audio, excuse me and then the AI can hear your voice and then be able to transcribe it and then respond to it.
8:32
Speaker 2: But now, with this newer model, they put all of that together, like it's really going to change.
8:38
Speaker 2: A few businesses that I think are going to go out of business yesterday for sure, and I'll tell you their names If I I mean, I got to look them up while we're talking, While you're looking them up.
8:46
Speaker 1: what do you mean?
8:47
Speaker 1: They put all that?
8:48
Speaker 2: together.
8:48
Speaker 2: So what happened is that you had to use each of those individually.
8:52
Speaker 2: So if you're going to be using the text base, you're only using text.
8:55
Speaker 2: Now you could use text and upload pictures, but you couldn't do text, upload pictures and audio all at the same time through a single interface.
9:03
Speaker 2: You had to use a different interface and say, hey, here goes my audio, and then it returns that back.
9:08
Speaker 2: Now they're saying all of that is accessible through one interface, so much so that your phone, literally you'll be able to turn on the camera.
9:17
Speaker 2: It will be listening to us and it will be replying back to us all in one clip.
9:22
Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, rather than oh, let me take a picture, go into this one app, all right, let me text this, go into another app.
9:30
Speaker 2: Or let me say this and go to a third app.
9:31
Speaker 2: It's all, just all integrated into one, which is the big step.
9:35
Speaker 2: And what I feel is like the next iteration to really us walking around with our own AI assistant every day, like, imagine and this is this is probably north star thinking, and we're going to see if, uh, the internet is listening um is more glasses.
9:52
Speaker 2: Don't you know the ray-bans that we've talked about on this show before?
9:55
Speaker 2: there's going to be more of those glasses okay, that's another version coming out yes, not that there's another version, but there's a new market now, because the thing that I think the glasses provide or, I apologize, the thing that the new AI model provides is easy integration with devices like a glasses or a camera or a microphone, and that's what it really needs.
10:16
Speaker 2: It's just a microphone and a camera, and it doesn't have to be your phone microphone and camera.
10:21
Speaker 2: It could be my computer's microphone and camera, or a glasses microphone and camera.
10:24
Speaker 2: It could be my computer's microphone and camera, or a glasses microphone and camera.
10:27
Speaker 2: And now you have everything that meta has been selling for free, because I don't know if you caught that any announcement is they're going to be offering a free version of this to everybody like I believe, d hustle, you announced it uh two or three episodes ago, that uh now you can just go to open ai's website without a email account.
10:44
Speaker 1: That's cool.
10:45
Speaker 2: Yeah.
10:45
Speaker 2: So now guess what they said?
10:46
Speaker 2: They're going to open this up, and I don't know about y'all, but I think the industry is moving extremely fast.
10:55
Speaker 2: I hope you all are following along.
10:58
Speaker 2: I hope you are staying up to date with this stuff, because if not, we're going to be left behind.
11:03
Speaker 2: And also think about business opportunities, right?
11:06
Speaker 2: I just mentioned that the new, a new market that's going to open up more people going to create these glasses is shit.
11:13
Speaker 2: We should start creating our own glasses, right?
11:14
Speaker 2: Maybe a pair of glasses with the microphone in it first and then maybe add a camera later.
11:19
Speaker 2: But if y'all out there listening to this, I'm already putting the plug out there.
11:24
Speaker 2: If y'all trying to invent something, create something, come and holler at the Tech Hustle.
11:28
Speaker 2: You can hold it down here in our community.
11:30
Speaker 2: We'll support you, but keep an eye out for this stuff, because it's really going to level up.
11:34
Speaker 1: Speaking of the glasses, darwin, did Bobby tell you that we went and saw them last month when we went down there for the Tech Tuesday?
11:40
Speaker 1: No, he didn't mention that to me.
11:45
Speaker 1: Tech tuesday we went down to that.
11:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, we went down to the whatever that store is.
11:47
Speaker 1: They sell the sunglasses and then I walked over there and checked them out in person.
11:49
Speaker 1: They're fire right.
11:49
Speaker 1: They had to get to see them real in person and they got like two versions, like the big one and the small one.
11:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they're awesome.
11:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, I want them.
11:57
Speaker 2: It was right by the uh, the bright line station, there's a ray van store you saw them in person, right?
12:02
Speaker 1: yeah, yeah, yeah, no, they're, they're fire.
12:04
Speaker 1: I want them.
12:04
Speaker 1: So, yeah, no, they're good yeah, that's what I'm saying.
12:08
Speaker 2: I don't know if I want those anymore.
12:09
Speaker 2: I'm I'm almost like d hustle, like he said.
12:12
Speaker 2: Hey, I'm waiting to see what else comes out so then we can basically catch this.
12:16
Speaker 2: They're already on the second version, from what I've been told, with these, so yeah yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure, and I think they're going to be cheaper ones that are going to come out too, yeah but ray-ban just is.
12:27
Speaker 1: You just want the name, that's what it is, not just that they look good and stylish yeah, they.
12:32
Speaker 1: You know they don't look corny yeah, so plus plus.
12:36
Speaker 2: They almost look like you can't even tell that they have it there yeah, yeah they're.
12:39
Speaker 1: They're nice ray-bans doing it.
12:41
Speaker 1: I'll give them that that's what's up.
12:43
Speaker 2: Look, we jump from open AI, chat, gpt or GPT 4.0 to talking about Ray Ben glasses again.
12:49
Speaker 2: But in general, just want to give you all a heads up.
12:52
Speaker 2: Go and check out this tech, follow along, because we need to catch this wave before we get left behind.
12:58
Speaker 2: And one of the things I remember a mentor of mine told me always.
13:01
Speaker 2: He said don't be a consumer, be an inventor, right, don't be somebody that's just going to consume or be a consumer and go buy.
13:07
Speaker 2: Why don't you be the one that creates?
13:09
Speaker 2: So, everybody, keep your eyes open, create, create, create.
13:12
Speaker 2: Come and do it here at the Tech Hustle, because we got your back All right, all right, all right.
13:18
Speaker 1: Anybody out there in the community want Father's Day is coming up.
13:22
Speaker 1: Think of your boy Just saying Hint, hint.
13:25
Speaker 2: Hint, hint To who Justin's listening.
13:29
Speaker 2: Hint, hint.
13:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, justin's going to use my money to try to get this, and I want somebody to use their money.
13:35
Speaker 2: Okay, I see, I see, I see.
13:37
Speaker 2: But yeah, father's Day is coming up and, yeah, big shout-outs to Mother's Day.
13:40
Speaker 2: I know D-Hustle is probably going to mention that too.
13:42
Speaker 2: Shout out.
13:43
Speaker 2: We just passed Mother's Day.
13:45
Speaker 2: All right, I think we're ready to move on to our next section.
13:48
Speaker 2: We got D-Hustle over here with current events.
13:51
Speaker 2: I already dropped a little bit, but go ahead and slide up in here, kid.
13:55
Speaker 3: All right, can you hear me?
13:56
Speaker 3: Yes, I can.
13:57
Speaker 3: So now back to the version pro.
13:59
Speaker 3: Apple Seems like they're doing a lot of Movement.
14:06
Speaker 3: I guess the version pro right now is basically Going to be sold outside of the United States.
14:09
Speaker 2: Finally, they're taking the game up.
14:12
Speaker 1: They weren't being sold outside before.
14:13
Speaker 1: No, not at all.
14:15
Speaker 3: I guess, from what I'm reading here, the first couple is going to be France.
14:19
Speaker 3: Who else Interesting?
14:21
Speaker 3: I guess they're holding back Germany, france, australia, japan.
14:23
Speaker 1: South Korea, singapore, france, who else Interesting?
14:25
Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess they're holding back.
14:26
Speaker 3: It was nothing.
14:27
Speaker 3: Germany, france, australia, japan, south Korea, singapore and China.
14:30
Speaker 3: Okay, are going to be mostly the locations that they're going to be sending out these version pros for Apple, so I guess they get.
14:39
Speaker 3: I thought they were selling it worldwide.
14:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, me too.
14:40
Speaker 1: That's what I thought.
14:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, interesting.
14:41
Speaker 2: That's crazy, I will say, say where was we at?
14:47
Speaker 2: We was in um marlene and I went to um brickell a few weeks back.
14:49
Speaker 2: I mean we was by an apple store.
14:50
Speaker 2: Um I don't know if y'all know this, but y'all can literally go to the apple store and um get uh like a like 30 minute play, try out, try out, there we go um, but you gotta get on the waiting list because it was like wild out there.
15:02
Speaker 2: The guy told me like a three hour wait.
15:03
Speaker 2: I was like yo, I'm not waiting on the three hour wait, this is almost like it's at.
15:06
Speaker 3: I'm at a amusement park or something like that that's crazy, it'll be interesting yeah, 3400, 35, you can say, I mean that price got to come down.
15:15
Speaker 1: For me, that's.
15:16
Speaker 3: That's the price of a used car, yeah well, germany, france and japan, I guess they're gonna call it up.
15:21
Speaker 3: But if you want to save money, get on eBay.
15:26
Speaker 3: I guess the version pro is selling at a discount on eBay already.
15:31
Speaker 1: Really.
15:31
Speaker 3: All right.
15:32
Speaker 3: So here it goes, the version pro.
15:34
Speaker 3: Here are the models.
15:34
Speaker 3: You got the one, the big boy, which is $3,400 for the 256 gig, $3,600 for the 512, and then you got $3,800 for the 1 terabyte All right for the 512.
15:47
Speaker 3: And then you got 3800 for the one terabyte all right, if you go to ebay right now you're looking at, to buy that beautiful version for 3180 wow, I always forget about ebay.
15:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, ebay has been one of my new spots, new, yeah not used.
15:59
Speaker 3: what new?
15:59
Speaker 3: Whoa new condition for under 3180.
16:02
Speaker 3: Wow, when scrolling to version peak sneaks it.
16:05
Speaker 3: It seems eBay is very hard for force selling.
16:08
Speaker 3: Excuse me, the version pro has says likely it's less than $4,000.
16:12
Speaker 3: But in this case there are quite a bit of inventory to sell and nobody is buying.
16:18
Speaker 3: That's why they had to put the price down, wow, okay.
16:23
Speaker 2: I don't know.
16:24
Speaker 3: So I do have something here that just came up.
16:27
Speaker 3: I see one right now for $2,980.
16:30
Speaker 3: What you can add it to cart.
16:33
Speaker 3: My guy's adding it to the cart right now.
16:36
Speaker 3: Two to three days shipping, signature required.
16:41
Speaker 3: Hey, here's another one for the $255,000, $27,000, almost $2,800.
16:47
Speaker 2: Wow.
16:48
Speaker 2: So what do y'all think that means though?
16:53
Speaker 3: Go buy it now.
16:54
Speaker 3: That's what I was going to say.
16:56
Speaker 1: The man is not there.
16:58
Speaker 2: Wow, the demand is not there.
17:00
Speaker 3: First, things first.
17:01
Speaker 3: I got to figure out if it's real or not.
17:03
Speaker 2: Because I don't know.
17:04
Speaker 3: I'm not going to pay this much for something.
17:06
Speaker 2: that's a knockoff, True true, it's got to have the.
17:09
Speaker 3: Apple emblem, not two bites of an apple, one bite.
17:14
Speaker 1: Just be realistic here.
17:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
17:16
Speaker 1: You don't want the knockoff.
17:18
Speaker 1: I forgot about that.
17:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, so you've got to Yep, yep.
17:21
Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing about eBay.
17:22
Speaker 2: You've got to do some more extra, extra investigation on it yeah and then you don't get until they ship it to you to know what it is.
17:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, but do they have reviews on ebay?
17:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, okay, okay, yeah, I haven't been there, like I don't buy anything unless it has a review yeah, if it don't have a review or a star on it, you can just go ahead and swipe.
17:40
Speaker 1: That is correct.
17:41
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I mean yeah, but I don't know apple.
17:45
Speaker 2: Apple has been notorious about having really high prices and then the reality is is that the market brings it back down, especially if the man is there.
17:53
Speaker 2: Um, my only worries is is, like yo did, they set it way too high 3500 out of reach, and then nobody really wants it right it's like and then it's not like a cell phone.
18:03
Speaker 2: I mean cell phones now are like 1200, $1500, the pro slash the max.
18:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, if you get the regular one is cheaper, so that's almost two.
18:07
Speaker 3: I mean cell phones now are like $1,200, $1,500.
18:08
Speaker 3: The Pro Slash the Max.
18:08
Speaker 3: If you get the regular one it's cheaper, so that's almost two, three times as much.
18:13
Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know.
18:15
Speaker 2: Well, we're going to see in their reporting on how well they did in this field.
18:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, and even when you buy a phone, you get the option of financing it from the phone company.
18:26
Speaker 1: You can't do this with a Vision Pro.
18:28
Speaker 1: Nobody has that type of money to just I don't know bro I mean there are people, but it's not realistic.
18:33
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean we're in a state of economics right now which is it's not.
18:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy you say that let me check.
18:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's the only option.
18:43
Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
18:44
Speaker 1: If you go to the phone store, you can finance the phone.
18:46
Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
18:47
Speaker 2: Well, do these things connect to cell phone networks?
18:50
Speaker 1: Not that I know of.
18:51
Speaker 1: I don't think they have SIMs.
18:52
Speaker 1: Maybe that's why you can't finance it and I guess because there's nothing for the phone company.
18:56
Speaker 2: I guess that makes sense.
18:57
Speaker 2: Phone company said we need to make some money too.
19:00
Speaker 2: How many Vision Pro?
19:02
Speaker 2: Actually?
19:03
Speaker 2: They'll give you the Vision Pro for free.
19:05
Speaker 1: Wouldn't surprise me if they come out with another version that somehow would be connected to the cell towers, then they would get in the game that way, I guess.
19:14
Speaker 2: I mean, the only thing is and this is actually a really good question because you can technically well you probably have to tether it to your phone, because I know that people use it outside.
19:23
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're right, People are walking around with it.
19:24
Speaker 1: So yes, apple does have it and you can lease it.
19:29
Speaker 1: Oh, you can lease it or finance it.
19:30
Speaker 1: Finance it, oh, okay.
19:32
Speaker 3: The $34.99, or you can get it for $291, almost $300 a month for 12 months.
19:37
Speaker 3: Wow, apple growth.
19:38
Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
19:40
Speaker 3: So Apple finances, Apple finances, apple said they ain't playing.
19:44
Speaker 2: They want everybody to get access to it.
19:45
Speaker 2: Okay, but yeah, you can be locked in $300 a month.
19:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's.
19:50
Speaker 3: If you can get it, you got it, If not, whoever has it?
19:53
Speaker 3: Invite me over.
19:56
Speaker 2: Have a party over there and I'll come and check it out for you.
19:59
Speaker 3: That's like a down payment for a car or something.
20:01
Speaker 3: Facts, facts.
20:02
Speaker 2: Facts.
20:02
Speaker 2: We should definitely take a trip out to the Apple store to go test it out.
20:06
Speaker 2: Maybe that might be a review.
20:07
Speaker 2: If y'all interested in us going out there test it out, record it, give y'all some feedback, hit up them comments, let us know We'll pull up one and check it out.
20:14
Speaker 1: I mean you have to sign up for the list ahead of time.
20:17
Speaker 2: Like a month in advance.
20:20
Speaker 1: Yeah.
20:21
Speaker 2: But Raymond said I'll pull up.
20:21
Speaker 2: He said I'll try it.
20:23
Speaker 3: And last but not least, you guys seen Top Gun Top.
20:26
Speaker 2: Gun I seen.
20:27

20:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, I've definitely seen the original.
20:37
Speaker 3: It's been a long time.
20:38
Speaker 1: I gotta watch it again.
20:39
Speaker 1: It's been 38 years.
20:40
Speaker 2: Wow, look at my guy 38 years.
20:43
Speaker 1: Right he is.
20:44
Speaker 2: If you're ever in a trivia question they ask what is Darwin's favorite movie?
20:47
Speaker 3: What's one of my favorite movies?
20:48
Speaker 3: Top Gun.
20:49
Speaker 3: But what's up with Top Gun, kid?
20:50
Speaker 3: Top Gun not.
20:51
Speaker 3: You know, tom Cruise is going to do another one he is.
20:53
Speaker 2: How's he?
20:54
Speaker 3: doing?
20:54
Speaker 3: Besides the Maverick that he did, he's going to make a new movie.
20:57
Speaker 1: Wow, that's so good, though.
20:59
Speaker 1: Is he actually those or is that?
21:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's actually flying those.
21:04
Speaker 2: I heard he does all his own stunts.
21:07
Speaker 1: He does all his own stunts Like he's literally flying the jet.
21:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's wild.
21:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard he really gets into character.
21:14
Speaker 1: No, I've heard that before I was like did the military allow that for him?
21:18
Speaker 1: I mean?
21:19
Speaker 2: for Tom Cruise.
21:19
Speaker 2: I mean, it's in facts right.
21:21
Speaker 3: Anything he wants bro.
21:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, if he's able to jump from Mission Impossible from one building to a fucking other he's able to do everything else.
21:31
Speaker 2: in general, I totally could see Tom Cruise taking that on Making another one.
21:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, he did that stunt.
21:36
Speaker 3: I don't know if you've seen the Mission Impossible where he jumped off that cliff.
21:40
Speaker 2: With the motorcycle.
21:40
Speaker 2: Right, that was him.
21:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, he did that.
21:43
Speaker 2: He did that on his own, wasn't a double.
21:45
Speaker 3: Nope, no, that was him.
21:46
Speaker 3: He reminds me of Jackie Chan there we go, jackie.
21:48
Speaker 2: Chan does all his damn stunts.
21:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, all his stunts Crazy.
21:53
Speaker 2: But yeah, man, but I tell you it definitely makes the movie more exciting to go watch when you know that the actor's really doing it that way.
21:59
Speaker 2: Plus, I think he's a really great actor regardless outside of acting, but he really was able to hold it down.
22:05
Speaker 2: Well, Wow.
22:06
Speaker 2: So when did they have a release date?
22:08
Speaker 3: for it.
22:08
Speaker 3: You were just talking about it just a couple days ago.
22:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, it usually takes about a year, a year and a half two years Probably.
22:15
Speaker 3: Wow, big shout-outs to them.
22:16
Speaker 3: I'm excited to see that I'm going to go ahead and put it in Discord so you guys can see it?
22:20
Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely Check it out on Discord 38 years after and there would be another Top Gun 38 years.
22:27
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh fellas.
22:29
Speaker 3: Crazy, and I seen them when I was a kid.
22:31
Speaker 3: I'm still a kid.
22:33
Speaker 1: I gotta watch it again.
22:34
Speaker 2: Dharma said I'm still a kid when I'm still tripping out.
22:37
Speaker 2: It's 38 fucking years.
22:39
Speaker 2: I can't believe that.
22:40
Speaker 2: That's crazy 38 years ago.
22:42
Speaker 3: Yeah, that one was a classic.
22:45
Speaker 2: Yes, sir, it almost had me want to go in the military.
22:47
Speaker 2: I'm like yo.
22:47
Speaker 3: Let me put me in a jet that's why I really wanted to go to the air force yeah those jets, but I guess they caught on to my schemes.
22:55
Speaker 3: It's not for you, bro darwin says I'm out there trying to shoot people up there right now.
23:02
Speaker 2: We got it.
23:03
Speaker 2: We're only practicing, practice, practice, my ass.
23:06
Speaker 2: He's always in a dog fight.
23:08
Speaker 2: He's like I'm a pit bull, I'm coming out on top.
23:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, Other than that man, that's all I got.
23:14
Speaker 2: Oh, queuing up for my guy Raymond.
23:16
Speaker 2: Don't call him Ray Ray.
23:17
Speaker 2: What up player.
23:18
Speaker 1: What's up, gentlemen?
23:19
Speaker 1: What's going on?
23:19
Speaker 1: What's?
23:19
Speaker 2: going on, man.
23:20
Speaker 2: How's your weekend, man?
23:22
Speaker 1: Not bad.
23:22
Speaker 1: I had Mother's Day, went and caught a movie with the boy.
23:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and my brother yeah.
23:28
Speaker 1: So yeah, it was good.
23:29
Speaker 1: How about you guys?
23:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, like we said, mostly did Mother's Day stuff this weekend.
23:33
Speaker 2: I can't wait until Father's Day because we did a few things and I better not just get a pat on the back type shit Like my dad always says you know, he used to say like you know, the dads are treated like second-class citizens.
23:45
Speaker 1: It's all about the mothers.
23:46
Speaker 1: So you'll be happy if you get a piece of bread, Bobby.
23:51
Speaker 3: Well, that's what I was saying, like I was telling a buddy of mine a couple weeks ago that Mother's Day falls on school days.
23:59
Speaker 3: Father's Day, everybody's out of school.
24:02
Speaker 1: Are you serious?
24:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, so Father's Day is next month.
24:05
Speaker 3: Are your kids in school next month?
24:08
Speaker 2: No, they're out of school.
24:09
Speaker 3: They're out of school this month, so at school, they have preparation, they have time to make these gifts for mothers.
24:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point.
24:16
Speaker 1: Oh, okay, I didn't think about that.
24:16
Speaker 1: I don't know if you've seen that.
24:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what oh don't forget to make a card for your mother.
24:20
Speaker 3: Let's all draw.
24:21
Speaker 3: Yada yada yada School's schools.
24:23
Speaker 3: I'll fuck that.
24:24
Speaker 1: No, you know, you bring a good point there.
24:28
Speaker 3: Oh shit, I forgot.
24:29
Speaker 1: You bring a good point there.
24:31
Speaker 1: D Hustle, because tomorrow they are doing a dance a Mother's Day dance.
24:35
Speaker 3: Mother's Day dance.
24:36
Speaker 3: Where do we get the Father's Day at?
24:37
Speaker 3: We don't even go to Hooters.
24:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, she's doing the Mother's Day dance tomorrow.
24:41
Speaker 1: You Good point Interesting.
24:43
Speaker 3: I didn't think about that, so we need school to be extended past June.
24:49
Speaker 2: That's what it is.
24:50
Speaker 2: That's a good point.
24:50
Speaker 3: Might as well.
24:51
Speaker 3: All these damn teacher skip days, yeah, yeah.
24:54
Speaker 3: Like I said, Father's Day a few years ago I went out with the family and I'm the one that paid on Father's Day for everybody.
25:04
Speaker 2: That's crazy On Father's Day.
25:05
Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, for sure so it is what it is.
25:09
Speaker 3: It is what it is, but, but our day is coming up so we're giving y'all some hints, so I hope y'all listen right, we, we want that I ain't giving nobody so what's good with them?
25:19
Speaker 1: nuggets kid all right, so question question, first nugget for you guys here.
25:23
Speaker 1: You guys, you know I love my home assistants.
25:26
Speaker 1: I know you, bobby, you use a home assistant.
25:28
Speaker 1: What do you?
25:29
Speaker 2: use.
25:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, so I have the google home assistant.
25:31
Speaker 2: I have just about everything plugged into it, from the tv to the lights, to the garage, to the cameras, to the front door okay, I even had the car plugged in at one time the wi-fi son, yeah, I mean it's running the house, kid okay, how about you d hustle?
25:46
Speaker 1: do you use any home assistance?
25:48
Speaker 2: Google you actually have one that has a camera right, Not a camera but a little TV on it that you can see somebody walking up to your front door.
25:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, how does that work?
25:57
Speaker 1: Oh, like the little screen.
25:59
Speaker 1: Oh okay, the tablet.
26:01
Speaker 1: Oh, that's fire, that's cool.
26:02
Speaker 1: Nice how about you don't, you have one yeah, I mean I use alexa.
26:06
Speaker 1: You know, bobby, I'm obsessed with this stuff, so yeah, yeah, I have to be reminding us a lot of stuff it kind of freaks out people like how many of them I have, like literally, I have over, like maybe I'm not over exaggerating over 13 alexa devices what do you need that?
26:22
Speaker 1: I mean I have them everywhere, they're in every bedroom, if I have guests over or anybody, you can set the AC yourself.
26:30
Speaker 1: My kids can set the AC.
26:31
Speaker 1: They don't have to go downstairs.
26:32
Speaker 1: They can tell Alexa to set it.
26:33
Speaker 1: I can set it.
26:34
Speaker 3: So now you guys have to fight for the AC.
26:37
Speaker 1: I mean, this is what it is.
26:39
Speaker 2: Or do you lock it at a certain period of time?
26:41
Speaker 1: I mean, they're asleep.
26:41
Speaker 1: But the point is, you don't have to like get up, you know for sure, for sure, you know so I literally have it in my backyard d hustle, I have one in the backyard, I have one.
26:50
Speaker 3: I just personally think that's too many like I said.
26:53
Speaker 2: So it freaks people out well one thing I will say is they're always listening, so they're always listening whatever's going on but it's very um, I'm yeah.
27:02
Speaker 1: I even have it in my bathroom when I'm taking a shower I mean yeah, so we said you have time.
27:06
Speaker 1: I mean yeah, so you have time.
27:09
Speaker 3: I don't have time to have all that I feel now.
27:11
Speaker 3: I can't go into your house because it's privacy.
27:12
Speaker 3: Well, it's in my master bathroom.
27:16
Speaker 1: It's not in the guest bathroom or anything like that that I know of now.
27:18
Speaker 1: So I mean, I have some, you know yeah.
27:22
Speaker 2: I'm not.
27:32
Speaker 1: I something before I walk into your house, bro.
27:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think this time, yeah, I would understand in the front, in the kitchen yeah, like, oh, you know what.
27:35
Speaker 2: You just reminded me the kitchen too.
27:36
Speaker 2: I had the kitchen, living room, family room, backyard every bedroom, the game room.
27:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah it's, it's a.
27:38
Speaker 2: It's a little overkill let's just say raymond's plugged in.
27:40
Speaker 2: I thought I was plugged in.
27:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like um, I probably got everybody beat so yeah I've got them like overall, all over the house.
27:47
Speaker 1: But yeah, so, speaking of that, you know everybody, whatever you use your flavor, whether it's Google or Alexa, have you guys ever heard of?
27:53
Speaker 1: There's another alternative, one of the home assistants podcast that I follow.
27:58
Speaker 1: They swear that this is going to be the next big thing.
28:02
Speaker 1: It's going to blow out Google and Alexa.
28:03
Speaker 1: It's been out for 10 years.
28:05
Speaker 1: It's called Home Assistant.
28:06
Speaker 1: Have you guys ever heard of it?
28:11
Speaker 1: It's just called Home Assistant.
28:12
Speaker 1: It's called Home Assistant.
28:12
Speaker 1: It's an automation slash Home Assistant.
28:14
Speaker 1: It's open source.
28:15
Speaker 1: It's completely free.
28:16
Speaker 1: You can use it on Google, you can use it on Alexa.
28:19
Speaker 1: All of the podcasts that I follow where they're trying to tweak my house, they swear this is the best one.
28:25
Speaker 1: I've heard about it.
28:26
Speaker 1: I haven't died, even dived into it.
28:28
Speaker 1: But home assistant, they swear that it gets the most updates.
28:32
Speaker 1: It's going to blow out google and alexa eventually.
28:35
Speaker 1: So, but yeah, just an alternative.
28:37
Speaker 1: They kind of like focus on privacy where everything is localized.
28:41
Speaker 1: So some people are like you know, you, darwin, hey I don't want to go to raymond's house it's alexa's always listening where the home assistant kind of they pride themselves on.
28:50
Speaker 1: Everything is local and it's private, so it's open source, it's free.
28:54
Speaker 1: They're always updating it.
28:56
Speaker 1: So, yeah, like I said, all the home experts are touting it as it's gonna.
29:01
Speaker 1: You know, because I don't know they're touting it, it's gonna blow out Alexa and Google eventually.
29:05
Speaker 1: But yeah, just an alternative you know, if you want to get your hands dirty, you know.
29:09
Speaker 1: So home assistant.
29:12
Speaker 2: That's what's up.
29:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a really good one, because I think a lot of these type of options will give people more security around what they feel right should be localized to them.
29:25
Speaker 1: Correct correct.
29:25
Speaker 2: You are right.
29:26
Speaker 2: Whenever I'm at and I'll give you an example.
29:28
Speaker 2: I don't know if this happened to you before, but I guarantee you it has You've been at home you say something out loud oh I'm looking for this type of shoes.
29:36
Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden you get on your phone and all of a sudden that shoe starts popping up on your phone.
29:41
Speaker 1: Yep, yep.
29:55
Speaker 2: Or it's like yo ig feed.
29:55
Speaker 2: Now they know that I like these shoes and I'm being advertised about these shoes like, though, that that implies that that data or they're accessing that information all the time.
29:58
Speaker 2: Right, and a solution like this basically says, hey, cut them off and let's store this locally, which just sounds like a really cool opportunity, and I'm actually trying to look at it right now to see if I can set it up at the house yeah, no, look at, I want to actually download it and kind of play around with it too on one of my devices.
30:09
Speaker 3: It's free.
30:10
Speaker 1: It's free, it's open source.
30:11
Speaker 3: It's open source.
30:11
Speaker 1: It's completely free.
30:12
Speaker 1: Like you know, the guy who invented it and stuff like that, it's like I don't know if he's German or what, but yeah, like I said, like you know, this is going to blow it out.
30:24
Speaker 3: That's what's up.
30:25
Speaker 1: Google and Alexa, so you should do something on our school community.
30:30
Speaker 2: We should just, you know, do a little project and set it up, because I got a Raspberry Pi at the house.
30:34
Speaker 2: Oh, you do, yeah, oh sweet, ok I was just looking at the documentation and it looks like it looks requires some type of device.
30:41
Speaker 1: Yes.
30:42
Speaker 2: So that you can host it at your house, and it's referring to Raspberry Pi Version 3, 4, and 5.
30:51
Speaker 2: I think I have a 4.
30:52
Speaker 1: So let me know Kid, I'm ready player.
30:52
Speaker 1: I'd love to.
30:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do it.
30:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so follow us along On our school community I just signed Raymond up for something.
31:02
Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, but yeah, that's cool though.
31:04
Speaker 1: Alternative to Google and Alexa as home assistant.
31:06
Speaker 1: That's what's up.
31:07
Speaker 1: What else you got player?
31:07
Speaker 2: So obviously you know it's a busy weekend, yeah, yeah, but yeah, that's cool though.
31:09
Speaker 2: Alternative to Google and Alexa, as home assistant.
31:10
Speaker 1: That's what's up.
31:10
Speaker 1: All right, what else you got?
31:11
Speaker 1: Player?
31:11
Speaker 1: So obviously you know it's a busy weekend, you know mother's day and you guys know me.
31:15
Speaker 1: I love going to the movies and all that.
31:18
Speaker 1: But before I jump into that, question for you and bobby, question for you d hustle and bobby d.
31:23
Speaker 1: Did you guys ever get around to watching?
31:24
Speaker 1: Uh, baby reindeer on that yes, it's good.
31:28
Speaker 3: Okay, did you finish it?
31:29
Speaker 3: Or me and mark to go way back.
31:32
Speaker 1: Oh okay, did you finish it?
31:33
Speaker 1: Not even okay.
31:34
Speaker 1: What do you think so far?
31:35
Speaker 3: It was good, it was decent.
31:36
Speaker 1: Okay, it was decent.
31:37
Speaker 3: I don't like the way he.
31:38
Speaker 3: I don't want to spoil it out there but they were having some issues and I guess he felt bad.
31:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll leave it from there, yeah.
31:47
Speaker 3: I just don't.
31:48
Speaker 3: I felt like he was going to fall into a trap, yeah thing yet.
31:53
Speaker 1: so I, I'm more, I'm in, uh, episode three okay, okay, yeah, he, I mean no spoilers, but he pisses me off in this series.
32:01
Speaker 1: I'll just leave it at that.
32:02
Speaker 1: So, but, yeah, based on what you said, so, yeah, you're gonna get more angry, but yeah, okay, all right, you, you checked it out yet, or I haven't?
32:12
Speaker 2: uh, okay, it's on our list, we got I don't know if y'all noticed on Netflix, as of late they've had these newer Spanish, european and also some Nigerian shows.
32:22
Speaker 2: Have y'all noticed them on Netflix?
32:23
Speaker 1: Yeah.
32:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, so we've been like binging a lot of those.
32:26
Speaker 2: One that we just finished watch was Hit and Run, which was actually it was Israeli, it was like an Israeli show or movie, uh, that they dubbed in terms of just uh, with languages wise, interesting, um, but they've been really cool.
32:43
Speaker 1: But it's on our list.
32:44
Speaker 1: I'll definitely be checking.
32:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, I finished it and I hands down.
32:48
Speaker 2: I think it's the best they've done so well not ever but as of this is good so it's best of a netflix show well, most recent, as of right now, like you know, 2024.
32:58
Speaker 1: I'll just leave it at that.
32:58
Speaker 1: Not like the best show ever but right now, since I've watched, it's good they.
33:03
Speaker 2: They caught one with this one yeah, and this is like the second time you mentioned it, so I definitely this is good, so, but yeah, yeah, all right.
33:08
Speaker 1: So, speaking of that, so I went and caught a movie with the boy.
33:11
Speaker 1: You know how I love going to the movies and stuff, so we just saw.
33:14
Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys are into plan of the apes at all the series, oh yeah so the kingdom of the apes came out friday and my son and my brother went and watched it uh-huh, yeah, it was good it was good part of the series.
33:27
Speaker 1: They kept it.
33:27
Speaker 1: They kept it in line, kept it in line and I forced my son.
33:31
Speaker 1: We watched nine of them all last week so he can like understand the series there's nine there's nine, there's nine, actually there's 10, but if you really want to follow like I'm talking about, like from 1968, oh, okay, you took him way back, I took him way back.
33:45
Speaker 1: I was like you know you're gonna like you want to enjoy this and he decided to watch yeah, I mean, you know, yeah, he was, yeah, I mean at least the first few episodes
33:56
Speaker 3: first, yeah, I don't even want to watch that shit Black and White.
33:59
Speaker 1: I mean you're going to have your kids black and white.
34:01
Speaker 1: You know me so but yeah, but yeah, we went and watched it, but yeah, I mean, I watched most of the nine of them, so he was in and out.
34:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go ahead and rephrase that, raymond.
34:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, some probably caught the real, yeah so, but yeah, so I went and watched it was good.
34:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, kingdom of the apes.
34:25
Speaker 1: I recommend.
34:26
Speaker 1: How did you like the?
34:26
Speaker 1: The?
34:26
Speaker 1: Well, I'm not going to say the quality of the old ones, but the storylines of the old ones.
34:27
Speaker 1: Uh, the storylines.
34:28
Speaker 1: The old ones still hold up, like the original one with charleston heston 1968, like the first three or first four, very good.
34:34
Speaker 1: Now the remake with mark walbert is trash.
34:37
Speaker 1: I didn.
34:37
Speaker 1: I don't even recommend you watching that one.
34:39
Speaker 1: That one is kind of like a solo one they just did on its own.
34:43
Speaker 1: It doesn't follow any of the trilogy of the one we just watched.
34:46
Speaker 2: Gotcha, gotcha.
34:47
Speaker 1: Where it just follows the last three.
34:49
Speaker 1: It's part of it.
34:50
Speaker 1: So the one with Mark Wahlberg watch it, if you want, but yeah, the storyline is great.
34:54
Speaker 1: They kept this one as like the original ones.
34:57
Speaker 3: Oh okay, basically, what he's saying is the one in color.
35:00
Speaker 3: He don't want you to see the black and white.
35:04
Speaker 1: he want you to see.
35:06
Speaker 1: So, yeah, that's my review.
35:07
Speaker 1: So, kingdom of the Apes, go watch it if you're interested in the series.
35:10
Speaker 1: Highly recommended, Highly recommended.
35:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, we need to get them to send us a check as much as we.
35:15
Speaker 2: Uh, I know as much as I'm like you know, yeah, but yeah but yo, if y'all want to send us a check, we'll review and give y'all some feedback, but no spoilers.
35:22
Speaker 2: But does it imply that there's going to be another episode?
35:26
Speaker 1: or another, probably.
35:27
Speaker 1: Oh, definitely, yeah, catching up to the past of yours.
35:29
Speaker 1: 13 but you gotta realize, like you know, they're all like different trilogy, series, different.
35:37
Speaker 1: For sure, different universes, like you know, mcu.
35:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
35:40
Speaker 2: But I mean it was like did the end imply that there was going to be some more?
35:43
Speaker 1: Yes, this one was part of the last three.
35:44
Speaker 1: So definitely yes, they connected the dots.
35:47
Speaker 3: I need to stop, man.
35:48
Speaker 3: Oh, come on, come on, I mean just Dad, fast and Furious.
35:52
Speaker 1: You know that's a good point.
35:53
Speaker 1: So with this one just coming out D, that's 10.
35:56
Speaker 1: Saw, yeah, yeah, oh, saw.
35:58
Speaker 1: I love all the Saws.
35:59
Speaker 3: I got to stop bro.
36:00
Speaker 1: What do you mean?
36:00
Speaker 1: You got to stop the Saws get better and better.
36:03
Speaker 1: I love the storyline.
36:04
Speaker 1: Did you watch the most recent one?
36:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, unfortunately, oh, okay, I love the Saws.
36:11
Speaker 1: My house is a scary movie house.
36:12
Speaker 1: Oh, that's awesome the only scary movie we're going to watch.
36:15
Speaker 3: But come on, man, after the third, once you guys hit a drop, please don't make another one.
36:22
Speaker 1: Come on, that's funny.
36:23
Speaker 1: I mean low key.
36:25
Speaker 2: I feel like the writers.
36:26
Speaker 2: Maybe they don't know what to write anymore because if you think about it, all the movies we've seen Switch to director and producer.
36:33
Speaker 3: That's how they do.
36:34
Speaker 3: That's all you need to do.
36:37
Speaker 2: I don't know about these trilogies.
36:39
Speaker 2: I'll show you how it basically comes down.
36:41
Speaker 3: Let's say you write a book slash, you want to turn it into a movie.
36:44
Speaker 3: You have to choose between Steven Spielberg or Michael Bay, or Michael Bay.
36:52
Speaker 3: Or Spike Lee.
36:55
Speaker 3: At the end of the day, you see how Steven Spielberg did his movie.
36:59
Speaker 3: All right, it's going to make it, so you go there.
37:02
Speaker 3: Then you see the next one and you're not feeling it.
37:04
Speaker 3: So then you're going to come to Spike Lee.
37:06
Speaker 3: Oh shit, I got to make the last one.
37:08
Speaker 3: I did.
37:08
Speaker 3: I lost a lot of money.
37:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
37:18
Speaker 1: Let me try, just ride that wave.
37:19
Speaker 1: That's how it goes down.
37:20
Speaker 1: Well, all right.
37:20
Speaker 1: One more question for d hustle.
37:21
Speaker 1: He's his house is a horror movie.
37:22
Speaker 1: Let me get your opinion on a movie series.
37:23
Speaker 1: Uh, aliens.
37:23
Speaker 1: Do you like it or not?
37:27
Speaker 3: I like aliens.
37:28
Speaker 3: But then you start going into alien versus predator.
37:31
Speaker 3: Yeah uh, aliens versus.
37:32
Speaker 3: Just to see if she like godzilla, what is going?
37:36
Speaker 2: on here.
37:37
Speaker 2: That's actually where he was leading to.
37:39
Speaker 1: Okay, just stick to the aliens.
37:40
Speaker 1: I mean, I get what you're saying, just the series aliens.
37:43
Speaker 1: Do you like them?
37:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's straight.
37:45
Speaker 1: Okay, alright, they're coming out with another one this year.
37:47
Speaker 2: I believe you, I cannot wait, you can't wait, I can't wait.
37:51
Speaker 1: So I gotta get the boy to watch all of them Before he watches this.
37:55
Speaker 3: What I can't wait.
37:55
Speaker 1: It's House of Dragons, ladies, and gentlemen, let's stop playing on Friday night.
37:58
Speaker 3: Coming out in June, okay, if you guys watch Game of Thrones all eight seasons episode.
38:02
Speaker 3: This is the one you need to watch.
38:03
Speaker 1: This is the second season.
38:05
Speaker 3: This is the supposed to be.
38:07
Speaker 2: The second series second season of the prequel.
38:09
Speaker 2: Prequel, right yeah.
38:11
Speaker 1: Okay.
38:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, tuning in.
38:22
Speaker 3: I'm part of that one percent.
38:23
Speaker 3: Who's never watched game of thrones?
38:24
Speaker 3: You've never watched game of thrones.
38:25
Speaker 3: I'm part of that one percent out of.
38:26
Speaker 2: Out of all the series I've ever watched.
38:27
Speaker 2: You stuck in 1968 that's what the problem is like yeah, no, like seriously, you, you, you one of those that recommend have you watched vikings?
38:33
Speaker 3: no, okay so you're not in movies I do, but I just never got all right.
38:38
Speaker 1: Here's the deal with game of thrones.
38:39
Speaker 1: I watched the first season.
38:40
Speaker 1: Uh-huh, I had no clue what the hell was going on.
38:43
Speaker 1: You gotta fight through and I had someone explain it to me and I gave up yeah, it is it, I'm telling you bro I just gave up.
38:49
Speaker 2: After that, it is it is the, the ending sucked the the last, uh um, the last episode or the ending of the whole thing I think was terrible.
38:58
Speaker 1: I've heard that one.
38:59
Speaker 1: I could have done that.
39:00
Speaker 1: I'm just talking about?
39:01
Speaker 3: just, I don't even understand.
39:02
Speaker 3: I mean, you can't tell, because he's not going to watch this shit, I've never seen it.
39:07
Speaker 1: You want to go by one?
39:08
Speaker 1: I've never seen it.
39:09
Speaker 1: That's like, bro, there's a lot of you like killing.
39:12
Speaker 3: Oh, of course, that's part of your shit right there.
39:18
Speaker 3: You like series and drama it's in there, you like people being backstabbing.
39:21
Speaker 2: It's in there and the cool thing that I liked about watching Game of Thrones when I watch it is there was a lot of episodes that were already out, so I binged like all the way from the beginning to right where the edge was, right before it was about to get to the last season, and I tell you, it all connects together.
39:38
Speaker 2: They did an amazing job.
39:40
Speaker 2: And it's by far one of my top shows.
39:43
Speaker 3: Let me break it down for you.
39:44
Speaker 3: So this is how it went down.
39:45
Speaker 3: A lot of people watching Game of Thrones.
39:47
Speaker 3: I did not give that shit the time on fucking day.
39:50
Speaker 3: I'm not going to lie to you.
39:51
Speaker 3: I started watching a couple clips here and there and I was like, oh shit, this with clips here and there and I was like, oh, this looks nice.
40:00
Speaker 3: What episode you're?
40:01
Speaker 3: Oh, this is the end, this is season eight.
40:02
Speaker 3: I was like there's eight seasons now.
40:03
Speaker 1: I gotta catch up to all this well, no, a lot of you.
40:06
Speaker 3: I was in my house during covet.
40:08
Speaker 3: I think I watched the whole eight seasons in three weeks get out of here two in an hour, each and every episode.
40:16
Speaker 2: Yeah.
40:16
Speaker 3: Jesus Two hours a day knocking it out.
40:20
Speaker 3: And when I caught up, I caught up to the end of the season, yeah, and I was all on board in the same.
40:26
Speaker 3: They were like you watch, I was like I watched it, he was like yo, I got tuned in.
40:30
Speaker 2: I got tuned in.
40:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Okay yeah.
40:32
Speaker 3: Because that's what was talking about.
40:34
Speaker 1: I gotta see what the fucking big hype is.
40:35
Speaker 1: It did me right.
40:38
Speaker 1: It's worth it.
40:39
Speaker 2: I never, got into it.
40:39
Speaker 2: You gotta fight through it.
40:41
Speaker 2: Give it some time.
40:42
Speaker 1: It's really good, though Wachi's gonna come back with some reviews on his nuggets, oh man.
40:50
Speaker 2: But that's what's up.
40:51
Speaker 2: So you caught a movie and big ups to the Ape series that's coming out there.
40:56
Speaker 2: So it looks like you have one more nugget.
40:58
Speaker 2: What's up?
40:59
Speaker 2: What do you have?
40:59
Speaker 1: One more Last one is I don't know if you guys heard we're talking about.
41:04
Speaker 1: You know AI a lot.
41:05
Speaker 1: So, one of my favorite fast food restaurants.
41:09
Speaker 3: You know home of the you know four for four, you know struggle meal, like you know.
41:15
Speaker 1: If you ain't got no money, you know you're, you know, short on some dimes.
41:20
Speaker 1: One of my favorite lunch specials man, me and my home, me and my coworkers would kill the four for four Wendy's is testing out AI in their drive-thru.
41:30
Speaker 1: I'm very disappointed to hear this.
41:31
Speaker 1: You know, Charles, that takes my orders when I go to the drive-thru might be out of a job here, bobby D, and also any thoughts here.
41:38
Speaker 1: Wendy's is testing out AI to accept your orders here, but I'm kind of like annoyed.
41:43
Speaker 3: You know, I'm fucking glad.
41:44
Speaker 3: What do you?
41:45
Speaker 1: mean you're glad, like, don't you Like?
41:47
Speaker 1: Here's some of the companies that you call oh, you freaking, rude-ass fucking employees in a fucking drive fucking stink and shit.
41:56
Speaker 3: Listen, I'm in there.
41:57
Speaker 3: You decided to get this fucking job.
41:59
Speaker 3: Okay, let's be fucking realistic here.
42:01
Speaker 3: I didn't tell you to fucking choose this job.
42:04
Speaker 3: I'm in there.
42:05
Speaker 3: What do you want?
42:06
Speaker 2: No, let's be professional around here, and that's where the AI will kick in.
42:13
Speaker 1: Alright, anything else.
42:16
Speaker 3: No, yeah, fix your attitude.
42:19
Speaker 1: I agree with you on that.
42:21
Speaker 1: They lack some Soft skills.
42:23
Speaker 1: They can get better On the soft skills, yeah, but Chick-fil-A.
42:27
Speaker 3: My pleasure, I feel you.
42:28
Speaker 1: Chick-fil-A is.
42:29
Speaker 2: Chick-fil-A got that Customer service on point.
42:31
Speaker 2: Chick-fil-a is here.
42:31
Speaker 1: Everybody else is down here.
42:33
Speaker 1: I mean, that's just.
42:34
Speaker 2: But maybe that's why they bring in AI To bring them up.
42:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, but what about when you call, like some of these companies now, and you're talking to the AI?
42:40
Speaker 1: They can't even understand.
42:42
Speaker 1: You, bro, like you gotta like what you mean Some of the AI's like when you call like you know your phone company or like you know the water company, and it's got like the Press 1.
42:50
Speaker 1: Those things are trash man.
42:53
Speaker 3: So you're telling me that AI and Wendy's is going to understand.
42:56
Speaker 3: I want a double mac with four cheese and all this, consider AI as a replacement for the one you were just talking about.
43:05
Speaker 1: Okay, now what about people with heavy accents or whatever?
43:08
Speaker 1: Is AI going to understand that?
43:09
Speaker 1: It will understand.
43:10
Speaker 1: They get the complicated orders when you call these customer service.
43:15
Speaker 3: You get something from overseas.
43:17
Speaker 3: Do you understand them?
43:19
Speaker 1: you can't and they suck.
43:20
Speaker 1: That's my problem.
43:21
Speaker 1: So now you're giving ai to understand a complex burger order.
43:25
Speaker 1: Or you want this hold the cheese, hold the tomatoes it's gonna be screwing shit up.
43:31
Speaker 3: I don't know how to explain that but their fries better be good I hated one of these, the only thing I like about Wendy's Are the burgers and the nuggets, so I remember that, but their fries were always bad and soggy.
43:42
Speaker 1: Now Spicy nuggets are fire.
43:45
Speaker 3: Now they sing Fries fresh guaranteed.
43:48
Speaker 3: You hear that Fries fresh guaranteed.
43:52
Speaker 3: Why?
43:52
Speaker 3: Because you know your shit was fucking garbage, okay.
43:56
Speaker 2: Alright, free fried meat, that's what they call it.
43:58
Speaker 3: Double stack Shout outs to one of these in the double stack.
44:00
Speaker 1: Double, stack yes, all right.
44:04
Speaker 2: But I will say this Raymond, it's alarming.
44:06
Speaker 2: Not that it's alarming, it's just moving extremely fast.
44:11
Speaker 2: So we just talked about earlier, with the new AI model that ChatGPT released and I know you watched the videos I did, did you see?
44:21
Speaker 1: and feel how yes like communicative it was like, the interaction was a little different.
44:27
Speaker 2: The tone was different yeah, now imagine that on the other end of a call box that you never see that person until you pull up to the window yeah yeah, and she can hear, or it can hear, other languages, it can cut other stuff out.
44:40
Speaker 2: I'm expecting it to do an extremely well job, better than you think that.
44:45
Speaker 2: I even think that when you go to the window or to the call box, you won't even know that it's not a human.
44:50
Speaker 2: That's how well I think it's going to be.
44:51
Speaker 1: So you're saying that I'm not going to have to check my bag to make sure they didn't mess up my order?
44:55
Speaker 1: No, because it's.
44:56
Speaker 1: It's going to be normal.
44:57
Speaker 3: So you're getting this all wrong.
44:59
Speaker 3: The only thing that they do in AI is going to be the telecom to make the order.
45:04
Speaker 3: There's still going to be employees in there working to serve your food out.
45:07
Speaker 3: They haven't exceeded yet as far as robots handing out orders yet.
45:13
Speaker 3: When you get that, then you worry about losing your fucking job.
45:16
Speaker 3: But as of right now, this is just taking your orders, correct?
45:20
Speaker 3: I is definitely gonna understand.
45:21
Speaker 3: Can I have a cheeseburger no tomatoes, no pickles and then this gonna write it down boom, boom, boom, boom, and then the employee's gonna have to look at the order and then make that nobody's getting fired except for the person doing window correct, or that person's finding another job right now and Now, whenever the case may be, this shit goes down, then unfortunately now you have an employee that's going to put the fucking headset on, correct, yeah.
45:45
Speaker 2: But I think this is going to be something cool.
45:48
Speaker 2: I think this is going to be one of those first examples that people are going to be using AI and not even know they're using AI.
45:53
Speaker 3: But if you really look at it, it's already out there.
45:55
Speaker 3: So I don't know.
45:56
Speaker 3: My son loves McDonald's.
45:57
Speaker 3: He's a McDonald's freak.
45:58
Speaker 3: I go in there, I get.
46:00
Speaker 3: As soon as I pull up to the drive-thru, I get.
46:02
Speaker 3: Are you going to be using like an automatic voice that says are you going to be using your points or whatever?
46:09
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, or your app.
46:11
Speaker 1: And.
46:11
Speaker 3: I was like no.
46:12
Speaker 3: And then you have somebody else, he goes.
46:13
Speaker 3: Okay, we're going to McDonald's.
46:14
Speaker 3: Can I take your order?
46:14
Speaker 3: It's there.
46:16
Speaker 1: It's already there.
46:18
Speaker 3: It's just acclimating to that shit.
46:19
Speaker 1: You say McDonald's.
46:20
Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question.
46:21
Speaker 1: You see how they have those touchscreen things in there where you got to put the order in yourself.
46:25
Speaker 3: What do you think about those?
46:26
Speaker 3: Those are being I call those.
46:29
Speaker 1: No, let me just get your opinion on it.
46:31
Speaker 3: What do you mean?
46:32
Speaker 1: Do you like?
46:33
Speaker 3: I think it's being lazy, because if you're going into a restaurant, why is it that you have to have an automatic machine there when you decide not to go to drive-thru, to go to inside to get your order?
46:46
Speaker 1: Those things are trash.
46:48
Speaker 3: Right, and then you still have a register there.
46:50
Speaker 3: But they decided, okay, let's put this here so you can cut the line.
46:54
Speaker 3: There is no fucking line.
46:56
Speaker 3: Yeah, for what?
46:59
Speaker 1: It makes no sense.
47:00
Speaker 1: They're complicated and they're trash.
47:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they're going to get better though, raymond yeah I think they're gonna, I think they're in.
47:05
Speaker 2: This is just me manifesting if I were um these companies that have those kiosk systems yes, the kiosk is.
47:11
Speaker 2: I think d hustle is right.
47:13
Speaker 2: Well, the reason why I come in there is I want to go interact with somebody, or I want to interact with you know the, the restaurant I want to sit down, like me.
47:20
Speaker 2: The line is too fucking long going inside and when I go to this kiosk I I want to have a feeling like I'm still interacting with somebody.
47:27
Speaker 2: So I think what McDonald's is preparing for is to have a virtualized person that pops up right when you walk up to it and you talk directly to it and technically they get the order right right there.
47:38
Speaker 2: I would say that's at least a year, not even a year six months to a year out, and I guarantee you we are going to freaking, be like, oh, I'm going to get out the car more so that I can have that type of experience.
47:48
Speaker 2: I think the kiosk sucks now because you are manually doing things and you're searching through you shouldn't be.
47:54
Speaker 3: You should be going in there to the register.
47:56
Speaker 3: Hey, leo, bob, bill, mike, jack jackson whatever you want to be called, I need a number five barbecue sauce medium or large.
48:04
Speaker 2: That's the part about customer service let me get your opinion.
48:07
Speaker 1: What do you think of self checkouts?
48:09
Speaker 3: um, good and bad, the grocery stores you mean yes I think it's good because you don't have to worry about these two or three fucking lanes that are just not open, but then I think it's bad, because there's a way to fucking rob the store, like you can just be like bleep.
48:23
Speaker 3: Oh, okay, let me put that in.
48:28
Speaker 3: I think it's good because it helps out the line, but then what are we doing with the rest of the employees?
48:32
Speaker 3: Why you only have out of ten registers, you only have three open, but then you have one.
48:40
Speaker 1: It says seven to eight kiosks for you to self-check out.
48:43
Speaker 1: They're always broken, they're trash, they're always broken.
48:46
Speaker 1: They hold the line up.
48:48
Speaker 3: You know what I thought it was good for Back in the days when I used to shop at Walmart.
48:52
Speaker 1: Oh, speaking of that, you see, Walmart said they made a mistake.
48:55
Speaker 1: They want to get rid of all of them.
48:59
Speaker 3: They that.
48:59
Speaker 3: You see, walmart said they made a mistake.
49:00
Speaker 3: They want to get rid of all of them.
49:00
Speaker 3: They want to bring back humans.
49:01
Speaker 1: I guarantee you they're losing a lot of fucking money, and they're always broken.
49:03
Speaker 1: They're trash.
49:04
Speaker 2: And I think those type of environments will find out if this tech will work.
49:10
Speaker 2: I'll stop there.
49:11
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I was just saying that I think it's going to be trial and error.
49:16
Speaker 2: We'll remember these days.
49:17
Speaker 2: Do you remember when we used to have the kiosk and then he went back like they're testing it out?
49:23
Speaker 3: but what were you gonna say, dean?
49:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just just, I used to go to walmart, a lot man, and yeah, they only had like two, three registers.
49:29
Speaker 3: The line used to be back.
49:30
Speaker 3: I was like I can't be here just for a pack of pampers.
49:34
Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta wait Fucking five, ten minutes For a line.
49:37
Speaker 3: Then they did the kiosk.
49:38
Speaker 3: Then the kiosk Started having a long line, yeah, yeah.
49:42
Speaker 3: And then the register Of regular employees A longer line.
49:46
Speaker 3: I'm like bro, I'm never gonna, I'm gonna be.
49:47
Speaker 3: I came here for Two minute thing and I'm here for ten minutes.
49:51
Speaker 3: For what?
49:53
Speaker 1: Do you ever see a long line At Publix?
49:56
Speaker 3: I do.
49:57
Speaker 1: Really For the holidays.
49:58
Speaker 3: For the holidays.
49:59
Speaker 1: Not general Like Walmart?
50:01
Speaker 1: Why is that Not as like?
50:02
Speaker 2: Walmart I mean, but you got to understand more people go to Walmart than they go to Publix.
50:06
Speaker 1: That's true, but I'm saying Publix has humans.
50:08
Speaker 1: That's where I'm getting at.
50:10
Speaker 3: They also have self-kiosks too.
50:19
Speaker 2: Some of them do, but.
50:19
Speaker 2: But I mean, they're fighting it.
50:19
Speaker 2: Some of the public says you are correct, but I think it's almost like the difference of Wendy's and Chick-fil-A we're talking about perfect example.
50:21
Speaker 3: Let me give you a perfect example.
50:23
Speaker 3: Have you been to Costco?
50:24
Speaker 3: Yes you've never been to.
50:26
Speaker 1: Costco.
50:27
Speaker 1: You don't go to Costco, I don't go to Costco to shop where you buy like bulk.
50:30
Speaker 1: I don't, you don't, no, wow, you gotta go get a Costco.
50:35
Speaker 3: I guess the conversation I had is not going to be important.
50:37
Speaker 2: They have kiosks, so they have a kiosk.
50:39
Speaker 2: You've been to Costco, right yeah, for sure.
50:40
Speaker 3: So they have regular lines and then they have kiosks.
50:43
Speaker 3: Do you see on the kiosk that even though you're supposed to do self-checkout, they ring it up for you.
50:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, they do.
50:51
Speaker 3: Yeah.
50:51
Speaker 2: They actually have somebody.
50:52
Speaker 3: If somebody there, even though there's like six kiosks, it's like, okay, come on, boom, boom, boom, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
50:59
Speaker 3: Okay, thank you.
50:59
Speaker 3: All you have to do is make payment and then go to the next one.
51:01
Speaker 3: I'm like okay, this is different, so I'm guaranteeing Costco's not losing money.
51:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, no.
51:10
Speaker 1: Doing that, Costco's definitely not losing money.
51:11
Speaker 1: Costco was like a milit different.
51:13
Speaker 2: I mean, I think the bargains is what they're following, man, yeah, I'm just saying, you know what I mean.
51:18
Speaker 1: Like their customer service is like here, and won't?
51:21
Speaker 2: they're on the next level yeah, I mean, and if you go to the regular line, I think that's how they also do with people, because when you go there, there's usually two people at the register one person that scans and then one person that moves it from that's nice.
51:32
Speaker 1: I didn't know they did that.
51:33
Speaker 1: That's awesome.
51:34
Speaker 2: But that's how you don't lose stuff and I think that same idea is what they start to do at the self-checkout to speed up the process, but also to make sure nobody got sticky hands, type stuff.
51:43
Speaker 1: That's cool.
51:43
Speaker 1: I didn't know they did that so that might be something you know, walmart ain't doing it.
51:48
Speaker 2: Walmart said I ain't spending the money, but that's cool, all right yeah all right.
51:53
Speaker 2: So I mean in terms of just your nuggets, raymond, you're talking about AI Future.
51:59
Speaker 1: I have a love hate relationship.
52:01
Speaker 2: With AI.
52:01
Speaker 2: I know you do, which is crazy Because you're a techie, but we'll see how it goes, the day he uses AI, we're going to have a problem.
52:08
Speaker 1: I mean you know.
52:09
Speaker 2: Watch, he's going to have AI running his whole house.
52:12
Speaker 1: Which technically you low key do, alexa?
52:14
Speaker 3: Because, when I go there.
52:15
Speaker 2: It tells me when to take the garbage out.
52:16
Speaker 2: It tells me when I take the garbage out.
52:18
Speaker 2: It tells me when I have to walk the dog, Like I don't know, Raymond.
52:20
Speaker 1: Eat snacks and all that.
52:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Raymond, I mean yeah yeah, anyways, yeah, thank you so much for the nuggets today.
52:27
Speaker 1: Home assistant.
52:27
Speaker 1: But you're right.
52:28
Speaker 2: Big shout-outs, big shout-outs All right, all right, all right.
52:36
Speaker 3: Here we go.
52:37
Speaker 3: Hockey.
52:38
Speaker 3: Hope everybody's following hockey.
52:40
Speaker 3: It is playoffs times.
52:42
Speaker 3: Bruins and Panthers I guess Florida's up 3-1.
52:45
Speaker 3: Orioles and Canucks I don't watch too much, but I do watch my Rangers that are doing horrible.
52:54
Speaker 3: Ooh, they're down.
52:55
Speaker 2: Oh no, no, they're up.
52:56
Speaker 2: I don't even know what they're doing.
52:57
Speaker 2: Horrible they're down.
52:59
Speaker 3: No, no, they're up.
52:59
Speaker 3: I don't even know what they're doing anymore.
53:01
Speaker 3: They're up, yes, they are up, but I don't know what the heck they're doing anymore.
53:04
Speaker 3: Other than that your Florida Panthers are rocking.
53:08
Speaker 3: So, other than that, much love to all those teams out there, soccer's in now.
53:15
Speaker 2: Ooh, we need to go see Messi this year.
53:16
Speaker 2: I want to go down to Miami to go see.
53:17
Speaker 3: Messi A couple games on.
53:19
Speaker 3: If you guys are not watching soccer there were some on there.
53:22
Speaker 3: I guess Ryan Reynolds has spare time from Deadpool just to be in soccer and commentating until Deadpool comes out.
53:29
Speaker 3: So I guess that is baseball.
53:32
Speaker 3: Baseball's doing phenomenal Yankees second place, Boston third, and then the Mares second place, Boston third, and then the Marlins are last place and then right on top of Marlins, the Mets Just want to make sure.
53:46
Speaker 3: Did you see how he did that order Like?
53:48
Speaker 2: if you think about the order right, it should have been the Mets and then Marlins.
53:52
Speaker 2: He said no, we got to go to the Marlins, let's go let you know who's in the bottom.
53:56
Speaker 3: Philly is the team to understand and figure out, and so is Atlanta and Washington doing their thing.
54:00
Speaker 3: Much love to all those Dodgers and Padres out there.
54:03
Speaker 3: Other than that, good luck on your team.
54:05
Speaker 3: Still a lot of games left, yeah, a lot Football, oh man there's a lot of crap going on on football.
54:12
Speaker 3: I don't know if you've seen Bills and Dolphins First Thursday night football game, so that should be exciting for you guys.
54:21
Speaker 3: Thursday no man, when football starts.
54:23
Speaker 2: I was gonna say you said thursday night.
54:24
Speaker 3: I was like I got it too excited, that's the first thursday game bills first thursday night game is bill's uh dolphin and then uh kansas, bangles and um and patrick mahoneomes will be second week, so, bills, who is it Bangles?
54:41
Speaker 1: Bangles and Patriots.
54:42
Speaker 1: How is Bills?
54:42
Speaker 1: Wouldn't the Chiefs be the first game of the season?
54:47
Speaker 3: No.
54:47
Speaker 3: Is it Thursday night, the first game.
54:50
Speaker 3: No, Thursday night is going to be.
54:52
Speaker 1: The first.
54:53
Speaker 3: Thursday night game is going to be Bills and Dolphins.
54:56
Speaker 1: Gotcha Okay, but the opener is the Chiefs.
54:58
Speaker 1: The opener is yeah, got it.
54:59
Speaker 3: And then second week for Chiefs is going to be against the Bengals, so hopefully you guys have a good big thing going on over there.
55:09
Speaker 1: I hope the Chiefs lose.
55:10
Speaker 1: Wow Already yeah.
55:12
Speaker 3: Other than that, that's all I got for NFL, and now we're going into basketball.
55:17
Speaker 3: Before that, that's all I got for nfl, and then we're going into basketball.
55:20
Speaker 3: Before I go to basketball what do you guys think about bronnie james?
55:23
Speaker 1: I hear he's six four that's cap.
55:24
Speaker 3: He's six one, stop lying let's be realistic here is he six one, yeah, he is six one.
55:31
Speaker 3: I mean they have him on google at six four.
55:32
Speaker 3: You haven't us.
55:34
Speaker 3: Uh, usc has him at six four.
55:35
Speaker 3: They lied, that's cap.
55:37
Speaker 1: They lied to him I did see um the shootouts, whatever yesterday.
55:41
Speaker 1: Did you see that his little drill and stuff like that?
55:43
Speaker 1: Oh, he couldn't miss a shot, ronnie couldn't miss a shot, and all this crap.
55:47
Speaker 2: So but yeah, I mean they're trying to hype him up, they're trying to hype him up and lebron is just sitting back.
55:52
Speaker 1: He ain't gonna sign nothing until he see, I don't know, will he what will come first, him signing or him son getting drafted?
55:59
Speaker 1: Or how will that work?
56:00
Speaker 3: I'm just curious uh, basically his son will have to get.
56:03
Speaker 3: I think his son will have to get drafted first and then that will determine what team he will play.
56:08
Speaker 1: He will play for you're talking about lebron yeah, but I'm saying which will come first to sign it?
56:13
Speaker 1: Will that come afterward?
56:14
Speaker 1: I guess the draft will come first then.
56:15
Speaker 1: I guess that's what's what my question was.
56:17
Speaker 2: Could be, or he could just stay a free agent and not sign anything and just play one season.
56:22
Speaker 1: Interesting yeah.
56:24
Speaker 3: Bronny James was listed as 6-4 on USC Trojans roster during the freshman season in Los Angeles.
56:30
Speaker 3: The eldest son clocks at 6-1 after he got his official measurement and taken in Chicago.
56:38
Speaker 3: So now USC is not lying for the guy.
56:42
Speaker 1: Wow.
56:42
Speaker 3: Bronny's taking heat for lying about his age on the previous listing.
56:46
Speaker 1: Age or height.
56:47
Speaker 1: Height yeah okay, that's crazy, that's crazy.
56:51
Speaker 2: I mean USC has the history around that too.
56:53
Speaker 1: so yeah, I mean okay, you think he's going to get drafted, drafted I don't care I mean I know you don't care, but do you think he's gonna get?
57:01
Speaker 2: I mean, you guys want more.
57:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, he is.
57:02
Speaker 1: No, I mean, no, he's in the draft he's in the draft.
57:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, he's in the draft.
57:07
Speaker 3: They made him into his draft.
57:08
Speaker 1: I don't know why everybody agrees that he should not be draft.
57:11
Speaker 1: He's not draftable so but hey, you know when your dad is lebron's going to make a mark in the record book.
57:17
Speaker 2: He would be the first one.
57:18
Speaker 2: Why not what?
57:19
Speaker 1: do you?
57:19
Speaker 2: mean A son and father and son playing on the same team, that's probably what he's waiting for.
57:25
Speaker 1: If another team doesn't screw the Lakers and draft him, or whatever.
57:28
Speaker 2: But then again, lebron can go to that team though.
57:30
Speaker 2: He can go anywhere.
57:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, so Would.
57:33
Speaker 2: Braun is done after this One season.
57:35
Speaker 3: No, nah, they're going to keep him.
57:37
Speaker 2: It's all about money, man.
57:38
Speaker 3: They're going to keep him.
57:39
Speaker 3: He could be a garbage ass player.
57:40
Speaker 3: My Knicks probably might pick that garbage ass player, but your Knicks ain't drafting Brawny.
57:45
Speaker 3: No, we ain't drafting that guy, because, well, you never know.
57:49
Speaker 1: You never know with the.
57:50
Speaker 2: Knicks.
57:50
Speaker 2: I mean you make him a franchise player.
57:52
Speaker 2: I mean think it might be not a bad buy or a bad uh selection to get him to come and you know that the nerve that he said, that he said lakers number one, nicks number two that's what he said.
58:01
Speaker 2: Who said that?
58:02
Speaker 2: Brownie said?
58:02
Speaker 2: Oh really that's his choice.
58:04
Speaker 3: That's his choice, if he was to choose he wants to play for a big city I don't want you if you're bringing your fucking dad.
58:11
Speaker 1: I could have saw.
58:12
Speaker 1: I saw something about the nicks are open to.
58:14
Speaker 1: Maybe because it's what he said, that maybe.
58:17
Speaker 2: I mean it's for the long term too.
58:18
Speaker 2: You're going to get people coming to watch the game.
58:20
Speaker 2: You're going to have to put them on the court, but for the first few years your ticket prices are going to go up.
58:27
Speaker 3: I mean we'll have to wait and see we'll have to wait and see.
58:30
Speaker 2: But hey, at least it happened in our era and in our time to see a dad, a father and son, playing an NBA together.
58:35
Speaker 3: It will be good.
58:36
Speaker 3: It will be good, yeah, I mean, but I know the Lakers are thinking about, you know, trying him out, yada, yada, yada.
58:43
Speaker 3: If not, I guess his next option will probably be the Knicks.
58:46
Speaker 1: It's not his choice, but.
58:48
Speaker 3: That's his choice.
58:49
Speaker 3: That came out of his mouth, I know, but I'm just saying yeah, true, true true If your dad didn't come to New York, you definitely wouldn't have come to New.
58:57
Speaker 2: York, unless you're Eli Manning, and then that's a little different story.
59:00
Speaker 2: That's true, I forgot about that.
59:03
Speaker 2: The one reason why I never sided with him Other than that, if you get drafted to the team, you go to that team.
59:10
Speaker 3: Other than that, man Lakers taking care of Cavaliers.
59:12
Speaker 3: I don't think there was fair last night game.
59:15
Speaker 3: I don't think there was fair last night game.
59:16
Speaker 3: We need Lakers, celtics, oh, celtics Taking care of the Cavaliers.
59:21
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're going to.
59:22
Speaker 3: They're 3-1.
59:23
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, baltimore's 3-0.
59:24
Speaker 3: Or Donovan Mitchell.
59:26
Speaker 1: They got the easiest path to the championship.
59:28
Speaker 1: In my opinion, Celtics.
59:30
Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, we can see what happens.
59:33
Speaker 1: I'm saying easiest path.
59:34
Speaker 1: You guys have a tough path.
59:36
Speaker 3: No, no, no Of course there's no Cavalier no Donovan Mitchell, no Jared Allen too.
59:42
Speaker 1: That's crazy, it's crazy.
59:44
Speaker 1: You guys are getting in a battle right now.
59:47
Speaker 2: Everybody's tied up though.
59:48
Speaker 2: Two, two, two, two no.
59:50
Speaker 3: Thunders and Mavs tied up.
59:52
Speaker 1: Yes.
59:54
Speaker 3: Thunders and Mavs tied up, knicks and Pacers tied, and then Timberwolves and Nuggets tied at two apiece.
1:00:01
Speaker 3: Other than that, that's looking Tonight's game Pacers and Knicks, no Randall, no OG.
1:00:08
Speaker 3: I'm stressed, it's not looking good for me right now, but hey if we pull this off.
1:00:14
Speaker 3: We've got Celtics next and hopefully.
1:00:18
Speaker 3: Og will be back and maybe get that chip.
1:00:21
Speaker 3: If not, we're going to Cancun with the rest of everybody else.
1:00:26
Speaker 2: Yo Cancun's the spot, huh, cancun Costa.
1:00:29
Speaker 3: Rica, whatever you guys go.
1:00:31
Speaker 3: Let's go.
1:00:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, much luck to all your teams there.
1:00:34
Speaker 3: I am rooting for Timberwolves right now, but Nuggets are in the path of you know, making sure that.
1:00:42
