- 0:14Speaker 1: a few of his videos, I think I agree. But
- 0:18Speaker 1: it's not fair to not have you weigh in. You're
- 0:22Speaker 1: the person. So I'm gonna play some of these clips
- 0:25Speaker 1: for you, and I want you to tell me if
- 0:27Speaker 1: you think you and this guy his name.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Is Josh j A. W. S h. If you and
- 0:33Speaker 2: Josh are personality twins.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I have a feeling this is either it's gonna be
- 0:38Speaker 3: like you're pulling my legers on. Then it's gonna be
- 0:40Speaker 3: very heartfelt and maybe I'll cry or be you guys
- 0:46Speaker 3: are gonna be mean to me and sadly I know
- 0:49Speaker 3: you and I kind of feel like I know which direct.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I'm just gonna okay, I'm just gonna play
- 0:53Speaker 1: the first one.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I've found that life's simple pleasures are usually found in
- 0:58Speaker 3: the quiet moments of chilling.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Oh God, you don't hear it.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I kind of have a feeling I now know where
- 1:08Speaker 4: this is gonna go.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Okay, here's the next one.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Okay, dude, what is it about getting older that like
- 1:13Speaker 3: a crispy morning is just fire, dude.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Like like you wake up and it's like sixty degrees.
- 1:19Speaker 3: It's just crispy, old dude. I will say, there is
- 1:23Speaker 3: nothing better than like a sixty degree walk in the morning, dude.
- 1:26Speaker 4: It really is the best. Oh my gosh, it is fired.
- 1:30Speaker 2: That's exactly what I'm talking about.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Or that one fifteen walk with Winona. Dude, pretty good.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I see what's happening here. I don't know if I
- 1:41Speaker 3: fully agree yet.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Okay, you might after.
- 1:45Speaker 4: This, dude. What it is about getting older? That like
- 1:48Speaker 4: soup kind of rich?
- 1:50Speaker 5: Now, dude, just pulling out the cauldron and just bubbling
- 1:53Speaker 5: and boiling away all day dude too.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Surpriably the closest we ever going to get to potions
- 1:57Speaker 3: class dude.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Okay, that one's stuff. Yah, that's true.
- 2:01Speaker 1: What's this guy's name, Josh jaw sh On TikTok On TikTok.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I might have to track this dude down. I think
- 2:09Speaker 4: him and I could be bros.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You just found a best see right.
- 2:12Speaker 4: You know what?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Absolutely just rips at about eight fifty dd. What Gabe's
- 2:17Speaker 3: good news of the day that's coming up for Big
- 2:20Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning. We practice gratitude
- 2:29Speaker 5: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 2:31Speaker 4: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 2:33Speaker 4: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 2:39Speaker 5: little victories with us at seven oh one two eight
- 2:42Speaker 5: one ninety eight seven, Gabe, do you have.
- 2:47Speaker 2: A little victory you want to share with us?
- 2:50Speaker 3: I think you could go first, Yeah, yes, I do.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I would like to go first one time here today, Angie.
- 2:55Speaker 3: You know what my little victory was. And sadly, I
- 3:00Speaker 3: feel like they're just so often food based.
- 3:03Speaker 4: But I'm gonna pull the rug out from under you.
- 3:05Speaker 4: This one is not food based.
- 3:06Speaker 3: After doing a bunch of running around for the past
- 3:10Speaker 3: six seven days, all right, the truck was looking a
- 3:14Speaker 3: little gross.
- 3:15Speaker 4: It was not great. Oh yeah, you know how nice
- 3:17Speaker 4: a car wash is. It is so dope.
- 3:19Speaker 3: When you get your vehicle cleaned, you pull it into
- 3:23Speaker 3: the driveway, you kind of forget it exists, and then
- 3:25Speaker 3: you leave for work in the morning, and that's just
- 3:28Speaker 3: nice and clean. So I got a car washed yesterday
- 3:30Speaker 3: that I desperately, desperately needed. And I know it's a
- 3:34Speaker 3: small victory, but we're gonna get into that time where
- 3:36Speaker 3: our vehicles are never gonna be clean.
- 3:38Speaker 4: All right, We're gonna get snow.
- 3:39Speaker 3: It's gonna be slushy, salty and disgusting, and it's just
- 3:43Speaker 3: nice to I don't know, I'll get kind of prepped,
- 3:44Speaker 3: I think for gross weather.
- 3:47Speaker 2: At least that's true. I feel you. Well, then I
- 3:49Speaker 2: will be the Gabe today.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And my little victory is food based, but specifically because
- 3:56Speaker 1: I think that you'll like it. When I got home
- 3:58Speaker 1: from work, I had a big old bullus soup.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Yes, let's go.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It was veggie lentil, and it was absolutely delicious, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: I absolutely was channeling my inner Gabe the entire time.
- 4:11Speaker 3: And if you don't understand the reference, it's just about
- 4:14Speaker 3: every day around like.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Nine thirty ish.
- 4:17Speaker 3: You know, I'll kind of be in here doing the
- 4:18Speaker 3: nine o'clock hour here on Big ninety eight point seven,
- 4:21Speaker 3: but I always am eating soup around that time. That's
- 4:24Speaker 3: sort of our semi lunchtime. You're a Big ninety eight
- 4:27Speaker 3: point seven, and I just it's kind of become a
- 4:30Speaker 3: thing now when people are in the break room and
- 4:32Speaker 3: they see me making the or putting the soup in
- 4:35Speaker 3: the microwave.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I'm not making anything, but.
- 4:37Speaker 3: They're like, oh, what's the flavor today. It's kind of
- 4:40Speaker 3: become a weird thing.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Here a Big ninety eight point seven fact.
- 4:43Speaker 1: When you don't have soup, people almost seem offended.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Yeah, if I have leftover you yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, So I had some soup yesterday and I feel
- 4:51Speaker 1: really victorious about that.
- 4:53Speaker 2: By the way, if you have a little victory, we
- 4:55Speaker 2: want to hear it.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You can text us. You can call us seven oh
- 4:58Speaker 1: one to two eight zho one nine eight seven. As
- 5:00Speaker 1: we practice gerratitude on Big ninety eight point seven this morning.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I want to know what is something you kind of
- 5:09Speaker 3: realized you took a little bit for granted. You know,
- 5:12Speaker 3: I was driving yesterday after getting my car washed, which
- 5:15Speaker 3: was just a wonderful, wonderful experience.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Big shout out to Don's car Wash.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I was driving home and we live in kind of
- 5:23Speaker 3: the same neighborhood area in South Fargo where there's all
- 5:26Speaker 3: kinds of parks and walking paths, and you know, there's
- 5:30Speaker 3: just always people outside doing something, and yesterday was so nice.
- 5:33Speaker 3: You know, there was a bunch of kids just playing
- 5:35Speaker 3: basketball across the basically across the street. From my house
- 5:39Speaker 3: at this park and I sat there and went, man,
- 5:42Speaker 3: there was one time I went out with my friends
- 5:46Speaker 3: or the kids I was in school with or whatever.
- 5:49Speaker 4: We just played at the park.
- 5:51Speaker 3: We played a game of basketball, played some tag, and
- 5:54Speaker 3: it was the last time I'd ever done that.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Stop. That makes me sad, weird.
- 6:00Speaker 4: To think about.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah, And so I was like, man, did I take
- 6:03Speaker 3: just kind of being a kid for granted a little bit?
- 6:05Speaker 4: You know, you're a oh my gosh, Yeah, you always
- 6:07Speaker 4: in a hurry to grow up.
- 6:08Speaker 3: You're always in a hurry to be an adult, and
- 6:11Speaker 3: then you realize it sucks. And then so I was
- 6:15Speaker 3: kind of, I don't know, I was in my feelings
- 6:17Speaker 3: a little bit. I was like, man, I played basketball
- 6:19Speaker 3: with like a neighbor one time, and I don't think
- 6:21Speaker 3: I've done it since. Yeah, I was wondering seven oh
- 6:24Speaker 3: one two eight zero one nine eight seven, what is
- 6:27Speaker 3: something you think you took for granted, Charles.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I took for granted the fact that I had an
- 6:33Speaker 2: apartment with a washer and dryer in it.
- 6:36Speaker 5: And once I moved out of that place and then
- 6:37Speaker 5: to a smaller apartment that didn't have any.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Of that, it was a huge adjustment.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Taking my laundry to the laundromat is not a fun trip.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that kid, I must go to Coral lot Let
- 6:48Speaker 3: Coral where they do most of the work for you.
- 6:50Speaker 2: They folded for you.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that actually would be a little that would be
- 6:54Speaker 3: worth it.
- 6:55Speaker 4: But yes, that can be an adjustment.
- 6:57Speaker 3: You're used to all throw it in the wash and
- 6:59Speaker 3: go get it and yeah five minutes or whatever. But
- 7:01Speaker 3: now it's like, oh wait, I have to set like
- 7:04Speaker 3: an hour an hour and a half out time out
- 7:08Speaker 3: of my day to remember and go grab this. That
- 7:11Speaker 3: definitely can be an adjustment. What is something you think
- 7:14Speaker 3: you've taken for granted, Angie, do you have one?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, this is not to be super sentimental.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I really took for granted when my mom lived in
- 7:25Speaker 1: the same city as me. Oh my gosh, I want
- 7:27Speaker 1: to cry just thinking about it. I miss my mom.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah, all right, well, I definitely feel that. You know,
- 7:34Speaker 3: when you move around, that can be tough. You miss
- 7:36Speaker 3: having someone that's a car right away, right.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Build in babysitter, that's right, someone who can stop over
- 7:43Speaker 1: and just to bring you some soup and sheses.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Shoot the breeze for forty five minutes.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna call her today afterward.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Beth, what is something you took for granted?
- 7:54Speaker 5: I took Sunday dinners at my grandma's house for granted.
- 7:57Speaker 6: I used to be like, Oh, I don't.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Want to sit around with all these cousins I don't
- 8:01Speaker 5: even like.
- 8:01Speaker 4: And now Grandma's gone and I would literally sell a.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Kidney to hear her say, come get this plate before
- 8:08Speaker 6: it gets cold.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a big one.
- 8:09Speaker 3: A lot of people, I'm sure, would think that about
- 8:11Speaker 3: their grandma or someone in their family or what have you,
- 8:15Speaker 3: which happens a lot. You know what happens to a
- 8:17Speaker 3: lot of people. You know what else you kind of
- 8:18Speaker 3: take for granted? What speaking a laundry? I really miss
- 8:22Speaker 3: when my mom would do that. Launch before me, I gotcha.
- 8:28Speaker 4: This is am I the problem? It's me, Hi the problem,
- 8:35Speaker 4: it's me. We'll hear one side of the story and
- 8:37Speaker 4: with your help.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 8:44Speaker 2: That's right, I am the problem.
- 8:46Speaker 3: On Big ninety eight point seven, Dear Angie from Gabe
- 8:52Speaker 3: at the Big ninety eight point seven morning show, I
- 8:56Speaker 3: need to.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Know, Am I the problem?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Okay?
- 8:58Speaker 3: I purchased a TV eleven months ago. This TV now
- 9:04Speaker 3: has these very strange and annoying horizontal lines that randomly
- 9:09Speaker 3: flicker through my television set.
- 9:11Speaker 2: No good.
- 9:12Speaker 3: There is a warranty that lasts one year. The last
- 9:16Speaker 3: time I checked, eleven months is not one year. It's
- 9:20Speaker 3: actually only eleven twelfth's of a year. There's a full
- 9:24Speaker 3: another one twelfth in there.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I called this company to ask, Hey, what I gotta
- 9:30Speaker 3: do to either have someone repair it? Do I gotta
- 9:32Speaker 3: bring it somewhere? Or do I kind of just get
- 9:33Speaker 3: a new one? What do I have to do?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:35Speaker 3: And I was told that, uh, yeah, potentially, we need
- 9:40Speaker 3: you to send this TV via packaging with this physical
- 9:46Speaker 3: receipt to the TV. So first off, I got to
- 9:49Speaker 3: get a box the size of this TV and then
- 9:52Speaker 3: go to wherever UPS or FedEx, yeah, and mail this
- 9:56Speaker 3: thing with a physical copy of the rec and I politely,
- 10:01Speaker 3: because I did not yell. It was not the girl
- 10:03Speaker 3: on the phone's fault. So I'm usually pretty nice to
- 10:05Speaker 3: those individuals. I was like, well, I don't have the receipt.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I mean that was eleven months ago. Who hangs on
- 10:10Speaker 3: to a receipt for eleven months for something in the
- 10:14Speaker 3: digital era that you just look up right, And she
- 10:19Speaker 3: was like, well, you can call the place you bought
- 10:21Speaker 3: it from. If you have the serial number, they can
- 10:23Speaker 3: print you like a copy. Ok And I said, okay,
- 10:26Speaker 3: what happens if I can't get a copy? And this
- 10:29Speaker 3: lady said, well, they'll get you a copy. And I said, well,
- 10:32Speaker 3: I understand that you think they'll get me a copy.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Can you please tell me what do I just buy
- 10:37Speaker 3: a new TV? Then I'm just out my TV if
- 10:41Speaker 3: I can't get a receipt. And she said, well, they'll
- 10:44Speaker 3: be able to get you the receipt, but yes, we're sorry.
- 10:46Speaker 3: If you can't, then you're gonna have to You're just
- 10:49Speaker 3: sol Okay. So I call the store, knowing dang well
- 10:56Speaker 3: that they are not gonna get me a receipt that's
- 10:58Speaker 3: eleven months old. And what do they tell me, Angie
- 11:01Speaker 3: when I call and ask, hey, I bought this this day,
- 11:04Speaker 3: this time, YadA, YadA YadA. No, they don't have a receipt.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Of course, they only go back six months. They can't
- 11:11Speaker 3: go back eleven months. So I'm back on the phone
- 11:14Speaker 3: with TV company and I said, hey, I can't get
- 11:16Speaker 3: a receipt.
- 11:17Speaker 4: I have the day I purchased it.
- 11:19Speaker 3: I have the time I purchased it, the store, the
- 11:22Speaker 3: serial number, the model number, and I have a screenshot
- 11:25Speaker 3: of the purchase on my banking app.
- 11:29Speaker 4: I gotta go buy a new TV today, lonk Oh,
- 11:31Speaker 4: my gosh, I don't fix.
- 11:33Speaker 3: It with this warranty because I don't have a physical
- 11:36Speaker 3: receipt that's eleven months old.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Listen, I understand why you are fired up. However, what
- 11:46Speaker 1: are your thoughts? Seven one two one nine seven is
- 11:49Speaker 1: Gab the problem for not hanging onto the receipt for
- 11:51Speaker 1: eleven months.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I'm gonna say that.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Don't sit here and lie to me like you hang
- 11:56Speaker 3: on to receipts for eleven months.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I don't go don't hang on too regular receepts.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I think you are the problem in this scenario for
- 12:05Speaker 1: a couple reasons.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Oh give me what.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you're complaining about the box. Why didn't you
- 12:11Speaker 1: keep the box for the TV when you gone it?
- 12:14Speaker 2: Who hangs on the box?
- 12:16Speaker 1: I literally have I bought a TV when I moved here,
- 12:19Speaker 1: and the boxes in the closet just in case something happens.
- 12:23Speaker 4: No, no, no, I don't know.
- 12:24Speaker 2: There is I'll take a picture of it when I get.
- 12:26Speaker 4: The boxes there. I think you're just too lazy to
- 12:28Speaker 4: throw it away.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Well that was a conscious choice.
- 12:31Speaker 1: And as far as the receipt goes, whenever I get
- 12:33Speaker 1: a warranty for something, I keep the receipt.
- 12:37Speaker 4: They didn't tell me to hang on to it.
- 12:40Speaker 3: If they were like, hey, this receipt is how you
- 12:43Speaker 3: get your TV fixed if it breaks. I know what's annoying,
- 12:46Speaker 3: hang onto this. I never even was told I needed
- 12:49Speaker 3: the receipt.
- 12:50Speaker 1: All right, Well, I just think that you should have
- 12:52Speaker 1: like I have a little file folder that has receipts
- 12:56Speaker 1: of things I got warranties on, including my TV.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Like I have the physical the.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Way you're looking at me right now, daggers, Okay, what
- 13:07Speaker 1: do you think is gave the problem seven on one
- 13:10Speaker 1: two eight on one, nine eighty seven. We also posted
- 13:12Speaker 1: this to the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page, The.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Problem with Ingrid's on the phone, Ingrid, where are you
- 13:23Speaker 3: calling from today?
- 13:25Speaker 6: From Fargo? You are still not the problem.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Thank you, Ingrid, Thank the good Lord.
- 13:32Speaker 6: You are still not the problem. Even shipping it back
- 13:37Speaker 6: would probably cost you more than going out and buying
- 13:40Speaker 6: the new key.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Thank you, Ingrid. I'm so glad I have someone to
- 13:43Speaker 3: have my I agree with you.
- 13:45Speaker 1: There, it would cost more to ship it back, so
- 13:47Speaker 1: that part is a problem.
- 13:49Speaker 6: Absolutely for sure. It would cost you more. So that's
- 13:53Speaker 6: why they're warranties. Don't count on them.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Yeah, they're junk. They don't mean nothing.
- 14:00Speaker 6: I mean nothing at all.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I have a new bestie, Ingrid.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Thank you so much, thanks for calling Ingrid.
- 14:07Speaker 6: Yep yep, by bye.
- 14:09Speaker 3: The Tale of Warranty and no Receipts here for every
- 14:14Speaker 3: problem on Big ninety eight point seven if you're just
- 14:17Speaker 3: tuning in this morning. Basically, long story short, I have
- 14:21Speaker 3: a TV that's under warranty for a year. It has
- 14:23Speaker 3: not been a year, and I can't really get it
- 14:26Speaker 3: fixed because I don't have a physical copy of an
- 14:29Speaker 3: eleven month old receipt. Now I have delve into a
- 14:33Speaker 3: lot of the Big ninety eight point seven messages and
- 14:36Speaker 3: there's just there's a bunch of liars out there.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Angie.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I tell you, I.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Think that you're the problem because if you're going to
- 14:44Speaker 1: get a warranty on something, you should keep the receipt
- 14:47Speaker 1: for it.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Like that's what I do, So be better game.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Yeah, now, Well, this is what's funny is I think
- 14:52Speaker 3: people are misunderstanding.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I didn't buy a warranty. It just comes with the TV.
- 14:58Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 14:58Speaker 1: If you have something that has a warranty that just
- 15:01Speaker 1: comes with the TV, keep the receipt for the TV.
- 15:05Speaker 3: I was never told it was you had a warranty.
- 15:07Speaker 3: I never was told to keep the receipt. Now granted,
- 15:10Speaker 3: I will be keeping receipts in perpetuity now for life. Everything,
- 15:15Speaker 3: anything you need to know on a bank or with
- 15:17Speaker 3: your money, it's all the tips of our fingers. Transfer
- 15:21Speaker 3: millions of dollars via Venmo. But we can't get a
- 15:24Speaker 3: receipt eleven months old.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Are you kidding me?
- 15:28Speaker 2: I think that's what they're like hoping for.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Exactly I got play.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'm so annoyed by this. We also do have This
- 15:38Speaker 3: was Angela. She did say, when they sell you a warranty,
- 15:40Speaker 3: they tell you need to keep the original receipt. Well,
- 15:43Speaker 3: they didn't sell me the warranty. That's kind of the
- 15:45Speaker 3: point there. But yes, she says I should have held
- 15:48Speaker 3: on to the receipt. Yeah, we also had Crystal that
- 15:51Speaker 3: says I am the problem. She says, just in case,
- 15:55Speaker 3: there's no excuse not to keep your records. I got
- 15:58Speaker 3: a folder with my receipts and important papers in it too.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Same.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I didn't know a two hundred dollars TV was gonna
- 16:05Speaker 3: be this massive, important document I needed to hold on to.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Okay, Well, Samantha said that you are not the problem.
- 16:13Speaker 1: No one holds onto receipts for eleven months. But in
