- 2:30The version of the Juvenile Justice Reform Bill has been passed by the Maryland Senate
- 2:34late Monday night. Montgomery County Senator Will Smith backs the legislation. It holds
- 2:38the entire system accountable, and now we're going to have a commission that takes
- 2:44oversight and looks at the Department of Juvenile Services, reports on what they're doing,
- 2:49identifies gaps and services, and then makes recommendations on a continual basis.
- 2:53The bill passed on a vote of forty three to two, with Baltimore City
- 2:57Senator Jill Carter and Baltimore County Senator Charles Snyder voting against it. The measure
- 3:01gives judges the discretion to extend probationary periods for juveniles, and it increases the
- 3:07number of charges children between the ages of ten and twelve can face, including
- 3:12firearms and third degree sex offenses. A trial date set for the man accused
- 3:15of killing a Baltimore Tech ceo. A judge ordered Jason billings Lead to stand
- 3:21trial on August twenty sixth, with a motions hearing set from mid July.
- 3:24Billingsley is charged with first degree murder in the death of Ecomap Technology CEO Pava
- 3:30La Pier last September. The thirty two year old is also accused of committing
- 3:34an arson, rape and attempted murder a week before Lapier's death. Prosecutors are
- 3:38seeking a sentence of life without parole. John Schaeffer. Baltimore's weekly curbside recycling
- 3:45resumed this week, the first time since the pandemic. It was suspended during
- 3:49COVID, and while it restarted on a bi weekly basis, it was inconsistent
- 3:53and generated many complaints. This resident says overall, he's glad to see it
- 3:57return to a weekly schedule. I know, with my neighbors and I eyes,
- 4:00we do have quite a bit of recycling. In terms of keeping the
- 4:04beauty of the city. I mean, we don't want to see recycling piling
- 4:08up on the streets. The Department of Public Work says restarting the regular recycling
- 4:12service is the result of bolstering the workforce by adding thirty five drivers seventy four
- 4:17new workers, along with upgrading and adding to its fleet of load packer trucks.
- 4:21I'm Ryan Daniels with the Maryland News Network and now another no brainer.

- 5:38on fire. You're about to experience the most high octane pedal to the metal
- 5:42controversial show of your life. Please buckle up and hold on tightly. This
- 5:46station is not responsible for injuries. This is Wayne Allen Root, raw and
- 5:50unfiltered with America's favorite conservative rock star, direct from the entertainment capital of the
- 5:56world, Las Vegas. What time is that? It's time war War.
- 6:02Here's your host, one hundred percent raw truth, one hundred percent American Maid
- 6:08the Warrior, Wayne Alan. Wait and welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the
- 6:25USA Audio Network. Yeah, the show is raw and it is unfiltered.
- 6:30Last night checked, my name is le Elsie. Write that down on your
- 6:34refrigerator and big block crayons and remember that Lelsradio at gmail dot com. That
- 6:41is how you can reach me. Love to go back and forth with the
- 6:44emails. Wayne has tonight, Tomorrow night and Thursday night off. The rumor
- 6:49is he's in mar A Lago as we speak, as he's going to be
- 6:54part I'm sure of a wild celebration. Christopher is down in Dallas, Texas.
- 6:59Without yeah, man, I tell you, the USA Radio Network would
- 7:01be like the Titanic hit in an iceberg man, right, the right in
- 7:04the the drink, whatever it is a couple however deep that is down there
- 7:09where that's what they don't go down there. And Christopher, you know,
- 7:12he's he's rocking in the ship man, he's making it happen. But without
- 7:15him, we got nothing but static. And again, I always love filling
- 7:17in, and particular love filling in when we get two or three days together
- 7:21because I can try to deliver at least some semblance of what I get a
- 7:25chance to deliver on my morning show here in Connecticut. We do have some
- 7:28great guests coming up today and to talk to Jamille Jaffers, who you see
- 7:31all the time on CNN, which might not make a lot of people happy,
- 7:35but we'll get his opinion on some of the things going on. And
- 7:38yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is in fact, super duper Tuesday.
- 7:43So after tonight it will be over. I mean it's over already, but
- 7:46after tonight, with the results coming in from Virginia all the way down to
- 7:49Texas and everywhere in between, we'll get a complete closure of Nicki Haley,
- 7:55which I'll talk a little bit about her and just a bit. But today
- 7:58is a big day, and you know, if we do get any of
- 8:01the results while though we're on the air, but I don't think we will
- 8:03because that might be close. But we do get any of the results while
- 8:07we while we're on the air, and any projections, we'll make sure we'll
- 8:11share that with you. But I expect to clean sweep from Donald Trump and
- 8:13away we go towards November with the Trumpster in the big saddle, riding the
- 8:20big white horse to try to save America. Which is why I think Wayne
- 8:22is down there in mar A Largo tonight, which would be a I'm sure
- 8:26that's got to be the place to be in mar A Lago. That's right,
- 8:30absolutely down there, man. Just you know, I just rub an
- 8:33elbows with the mighty and the powerful and the people who are searching acts and
- 8:39all seriousness, people who are searching for freedom. And that's sort of where
- 8:41I want to begin tonight. I want to say this. I like to
- 8:46have a lot of fun when I'm on the air, but obviously there are
- 8:48times when we get very very serious about certain stuff. And last night,
- 8:54last night, I had the distinct honor and pleasure of I was invited to
- 8:58this Republican Assembly event in Connecticut. What am I talking about it? Well,
- 9:05basically, it was people who are dissatisfied with the direction of the Republican
- 9:11Party. They call themselves the Republican Wing of the Republican Party, and they
- 9:16have these the whole list of like thirteen or fourteen criteria if you were thirteen
- 9:24or fourteen sort of planks on their platform. What they believe, things like
- 9:28unalienable rights and self government, Judeo Christian Foundation, free enterprise, family,
- 9:33sanctity of life, national sovereignty, to name a few. And I went
- 9:39there, I was invited to go there. I didn't sign up because there's
- 9:43different reasons, because you have to hit a certain level of criteria to get
- 9:48a chance to actually join, and you know, I didn't have twenty bucks
- 9:50on me. But the bottom line was that in all seriousness, it was
- 9:54a group of people who are thirsty for the actual true ideals of real American
- 10:05freedom, something that we're lacking. We lack it. We don't have it
- 10:11right now. We have the idea of freedom, we have the pretend freedom
- 10:16that the elites seemingly give us, but we really don't have Founding Fathers type
- 10:22of freedom. Absolute free speech. We don't have that absolute right to a
- 10:26Second Amendment. We don't have it. We have some semblances of those shadows
- 10:33of the old freedoms that we used to have. And these people got together
- 10:37because they were sick of it. They were sick of it. They were
- 10:41sick of bad candidates, sick of rhinoish type of candidates. Now, I
- 10:45don't think there's anything the word rhino has a bad stigma to it. I
- 10:48don't think it's bad to work on certain areas, right, you can be
- 10:52somebody who can meet people in the middle on certain different topics, right,
- 10:58certain I guess arguable ideals. But for the most part, when you're talking
- 11:05about the basic basis of the constitution of the United States, there's really no
- 11:11wiggle rooms. So yes, you can be someone who you know, you
- 11:15want to use the word ryano, that's fine. Some people think it's a
- 11:18dirty word. But if you want to use that word to try to get
- 11:20things done on a more let's say, give and take type of a level
- 11:24on some issues that aren't necessarily backbreaking, I don't I don't have a problem
- 11:28with that. Right, there are certain issues, in particular local politics.
- 11:31You can you can have all kinds of issues where people can meet on the
- 11:35middle, in the middle. But when you're talking about the actual basis of
- 11:39freedoms. What it's really all about, free speech in particular, obviously second
- 11:43Amendment. I already mentioned those two. You can't buckle on on any of
- 11:46those. That's really what the country was built on, the idea of having
- 11:52those those strong values and in particular self governance and having a smaller type of
- 11:58a government, something that is you know, driven by we the people,
- 12:03from a beginning to end. So again back to the group of people,
- 12:07say, you know, you've got you know, you've got husbands and wives
- 12:09and just hard working blue collar Americans who are sick and tired of being lied
- 12:15to by you know, the three thousand dollars suit politician. Even in my
- 12:22home state of Connecticut, they're just it's riddled with this. And they got
- 12:26together and I thought it was just an amazing show man. It was only
- 12:31like fifty something of them. It started the month before, they had like
- 12:35eleven. Now it's fifty. Maybe next time they get together it'll be one
- 12:37hundred and fifty, then five hundred and then five thousand. I mean that's
- 12:41how movements work. But their you know, main mission is to get conservative
- 12:48candidates elected. I think that's a pretty good thing. I think it's a
- 12:52really, you know, great idea. And these are again like hard working
- 12:56folks who don't really have any Jews. They have skin in the game.
- 12:58We all have skin in the game, but they don't have any necessary,
- 13:01any sweeping levels of power that they're trying to influence. They just want to
- 13:07use maybe sheer numbers to move the need a little little bit. And I
- 13:11like that. I thought that was great, And it was sort of a
- 13:13reminder to me about, you know, what it must have been like because
- 13:16the meeting was chaotic, nobody knew what they were doing. It was like
- 13:20the second time they'd ever gotten together. There were no Roberts rules, points
- 13:24of order, people weren't following anything. People were yelling and screaming. But
- 13:26it reminded me of what it must have been like in seventeen seventy five when
- 13:33everybody got together and started yelling and screaming at each other. But again,
- 13:37I always say, we're so lucky because all those years ago, this amazing
- 13:43thing happened with all these people in the same place at the same time,
- 13:46with the same ideas for the most part, together with their infinite, brilliant
- 13:52wisdom and were able to really carve out this incredible document constitution. Then they
- 14:03eventually carve out this nation which has lasted for two hundred and forty some odd
- 14:07years and has been the you know, that beacon of light that people look
- 14:13to. It's definitely just definitely wavering, and we're definitely in trouble. I
- 14:20mean, we have an economy that they want to try to give you the
- 14:24idea then it's it's going swimmingly. But guys, I mean, I don't
- 14:28know what to tell you about the stock market today. Stock market went down
- 14:31I think four hundred plus points today, but the Walton family sold four point
- 14:37five billion shares of Walmart stock, and Bezos sold eight point five billion today.
- 14:43A couple other heavy hitters sold one hundred and fifty million to JP Morgan.
- 14:48I think Zuckerberg sold four hundred million dollars worth of stuff. I mean,
- 14:54it was only a matter I'm not saying the crash is here, but
- 14:56it's only a matter of time before this this bubble has to burst. I
- 15:01mean historically that's just the way it works. And historically it blows up and
- 15:05comes back down, it sort of regathers, and then it goes on and
- 15:09hopefully it marches on it's merry way again. But man, if you're in
- 15:13it deep, I'm nervous right now. You got this great sell off.
- 15:16Do they know something that you don't know? I don't know. I don't
- 15:22have a lot in the stock market because I don't have a lot. But
- 15:28if I did, I'd be a little nervous right now. I would be
- 15:31a little bit nervous about that. By the way, a couple things,
- 15:33a couple of polls to talk about. We got a lot to get to
- 15:37today, so it'll be good. I'll be doing the Lindell Show as well.
- 15:39We'll talk to a couple folks from the Heritage Foundation during that hour.
- 15:43That's the second hour of the broadcast. But ninety seven percent of twenty twenty
- 15:48Trump voters ready to vote for him again in twenty twenty four, while Biden
- 15:52loses almost twenty percent of his voters. I have to admit a year ago,
- 15:58I didn't think he was going to get it. Finish line. I
- 16:00mean, I think finish line is the wrong way the phrase. I didn't
- 16:03think. I thought it was going to be difficult for Trump to win.
- 16:07But right now, on the fifth day of March, on this Tuesday,
- 16:11this Super Tuesday. I don't see how anybody could vote from Joe Biden.
- 16:18And I know he's the current candidate. I know Wayne talks about this all
- 16:22the time. I don't think he's going to be the candidate in November either.
- 16:26I think there's gonna be this this rabbit pulled out of a hat at
- 16:30the convention, and it just makes sense. I've been saying Michelle Obama for
- 16:34over a year. You know, she does protest too much to me.
- 16:40You know, I don't want to do it. I don't like I don't
- 16:41like Washington. No, I don't buy it, and I don't think.
- 16:45I don't think Biden can win. And they know that now. And Trump's
- 16:48become this steamroller. Man, He's a runaway freight train for sure. All
- 16:52Right, ladies and gentlemen, I'm getting the call of thirty in my ear.
- 16:56We'll come back in just a bit. We'll talk maybe a little Nikki
- 16:59Haley. Like I said, we do have a couple of guests coming up.
- 17:00Don't stick, don't don't don't go anywhere. That's what I was gonna
- 17:03say, don't go anywhere. Keep listening to the USA on a network.

- 24:27some audio clips, as I do almost every single day, and I ran
- 24:33into one I thought was rather interesting. Allow me to share it with you
- 24:37with our pal Gavin Newsome praising Nikki Haley sitting in with the one and only
- 24:44Jake Tapper on that mega power known as c N. Do you think that
- 24:49Haley or Trump would be easier to beat. For him. First of all,
- 24:52I think she's one of our better surrogates, so stays in. I
- 24:55hope she does well tomorrow. She says about Trump, She's spot on on
- 25:00ninety nine percent of it. So I'm enjoying. I'm enjoying this primary,
- 25:03and I hope it continue. But look, Trump's the nominee. We all
- 25:06know that. You know that, everybody out there knows that, and I
- 25:08think the polls are suggestive. She's going to get wall up tomorrow and then
- 25:12she'll make a case I guess, just to continue in this. But again,
- 25:17I have no problem for as long as she wishes, because I think
- 25:19she's making a good case against Trump. I had the head poles suggest that
- 25:23she would clean Biden's clock, and it's a tougher race. Trum, Trump's
- 25:29no nominee. Everybody knows Trump's nominee with respect. There's no evidence to suggest,
- 25:33there's no polling to suggest, there's nothing to suggest momentum otherwise that she
- 25:37can win any state in the Republican primary coming up. So it's just not
- 25:42Donald Trump is the nominee. No, I don't mean that to be dismissive.
- 25:47I have respect for the former governor a lot more than the former president
- 25:51Donald Trump. But as I said, I wish her luck in the context
- 25:56of being out there and making the case that we're making against Donald Trump.
- 25:59Equally, the most important sentence that the governor of California says that Nikki Haley
- 26:04is their best surrogate, working, if you will, for and with the
- 26:10Democrat Party to topple Donald J. Trump. So interesting piece of audio,
- 26:17and I thought was something you should hear. I don't know if you'd heard
- 26:21that, but I figured i'd play that for you, sort of a maybe
- 26:23Freudian slip of sorts, and then he caught himself. He's so slick,
- 26:29you know. It's funny. If California wasn't such a dumpster fire, and
- 26:33if he hadn't run that state straight into the crapper, he would be dangerous.
- 26:40And he is still dangerous. Got the good looks, stresses, fancy,
- 26:44looks, sharp as attack, and he's well spoken, very articulate,
- 26:48all of it. But man, he has just absolutely dismantled California from every
- 26:56single metric you can measure, whatever it is, whether it's cost of living,
- 27:03value, taxes, whatever it is. However, you want to measure
- 27:07success in a state, California is bottoming out and he's in charge, so
- 27:15he's responsible. But Gavin Newsom looks like a politician. He looks like what
- 27:22somebody might think a president would look like. He's got all as we would
- 27:26like to say, bells and whistles of being in that position. And the
- 27:30problem is he's a terrible leader and a even worse state administrator. So there
- 27:37you have it, all right, So that's where we go. As far
- 27:41as Gavin Newsom and Nicki Haley? Are they tied at the hip? Are
- 27:44they buddies? Are they pals? Is Nicki Haley in the pocket of Democrats?
- 27:48I tell you who really thinks? And so, without a question,
- 27:51is the vec realm Oswami who has been hammering Nikki Haley from the beginning of
- 27:56this entire political campaign charade that she is on? All right, we've got

- 34:39few months ago, and he's always spectacular. Hear him and see him every
- 34:44once in a while on CNN he pops up. His name is Jamille Jaffer,
- 34:49and he's the founder and executive director of the National Security Institute, and
- 34:53we really appreciate him carving out some time for us today. And I wanted
- 34:57to throw a couple things at you. You're sort of on cutting edge and
- 34:59all this stuff, and I wanted to start with immigration. I don't know
- 35:01how frustrated you are. I'm in screaming about this for the better part of
- 35:06three years, the flood coming across the southern border, and now this one
- 35:08p eighty flip from the Democrats as far as they want to get something done.
- 35:13I just wanted to get your thirty thousand foot view take of that.
- 35:15Yeah, I mean, look, obviously, the border is a huge issue.
- 35:19Our problems at the border are massive. We've got this group of immigrants
- 35:22coming up from Central and South America, but coming to this country speaking asylum
- 35:28or claiming to speak asylum. They're not being held back at the border that
- 35:30are being led into this country, and it's a real problem. I mean,
- 35:32we cannot survive with the flow of fentanyl and the flow of migrants across
- 35:37the border. Look, we're a country built on immigration. It's important that
- 35:42we have good legal immigration, but we also can't allow illegal immigration to overwhelm
- 35:46the country. And so to ensure that we pretend against that, we've got
- 35:50to have border security, which means we've got to prevent these There are terraces
- 35:53that are coming across the border, special inter salius as well, and so
- 35:57it's important that we secure that border, and then we figure out what's the
- 36:00right immigration policy. How many legal immigrants do we want to have, how
- 36:02may do we need to make our agriculture economy worth to make the rest of
- 36:07our economy worth and then get that right. And the truth is we're not
- 36:09quite there yet. So we've got to figure out that right full of immigration.
- 36:13But the first step is stopping the current flow at the border. So
- 36:15you know, there are some estimate accounts that we could be over ten million
- 36:19since twenty twenty. Would you say that's accurate or too high? Too low?
- 36:22Where are you on that? You know, the numbers have been so
- 36:24all over the map it's hard to get a real good sense of what the
- 36:28exact right number is. But what I will say this is there's no question
- 36:31that the flow of the legal immigration's country is much too high and it's not
- 36:36sustainable, and so we've got to stem that flow. And look, this
- 36:38has become a national security issue because it's not just migrants, it's also terrorists
- 36:44and criminals come across that border. And the flow of Fentanel across that border
- 36:46is literally cause killing tens of thousands of Americans. That's a huge problem.
- 36:52That's all coming from China. So does the president actually have the authority?
- 36:54I know he rescinded a lot of Trump's orders basically first day he took rewrote
- 37:00some of those, and did his own executive orders. But does he have
- 37:02the power with his pen and his phone to stop this without any additional legislation.
- 37:08Look, I think there's a lot the president could do that's not being
- 37:10done, And we can go back to the remain in Mexico policy. There's
- 37:14a lot more we could do. We can transfer some amount of funds.
- 37:16There's a limited thorny of the president has to do that, transfer some amount
- 37:19of funds to border security at the end of the day, he will need
- 37:23at least money from Congress. I don't know he needs authority, but he's
- 37:28money from Congress to put more more border patrol agents on that border and stop
- 37:31the flow. But there is a lot more that this White House could be
- 37:35doing that it undid from the prior administration, that it could be doing to
- 37:38stem the flow. Yeah, Trump wrought one on this, I think partially
- 37:42in twenty sixteen, But is this a real legit talking point for him in
- 37:47twenty twenty four Look, I think it is. I think the reality is
- 37:51that the Biden administration is not an effective job stemming the flow at the border.
- 37:54And as a result, President Trump has gotten good is going to it,
- 37:59has already gone a lot of mileage out of it. And what you'll
- 38:00see is you already saw it just yesterday, both both the president, the
- 38:05current president and the for president going to the border, making statements on and
- 38:08calling on one another to do something about it. Right. Well, President
- 38:12Biden, though, has the authority catch you do something which he's not doing,
- 38:15And that at the end of the day is going to be what I
- 38:17think President Trump or President Trump is going to hang around his neck over the
- 38:22next few weeks and months as we head towards the presidential election in November,
- 38:25assuming, by the way, that both these you know, eighty seventy year
- 38:29old, late seventies year old men are in fact our candidates going forward in
- 38:31November. As it looks like it's going to be well, let's get to
- 38:34that, because I think that's important. I think more people think that Biden
- 38:37his health will make him stumble. On the other side of the coin,
- 38:42people are saying, well, I mean, how many indictments and convictions can
- 38:45Trump withstand and still be presidents? Let's start with with Biden. I feel
- 38:50like I watch him and it's a it's a real rapid decline. You really
- 38:53think he's going to get there? And if not, is it Michelle Obama
- 38:55waiting in the wings? I mean, look, it is painful to watch
- 38:59the pres you know. Look, I mean, look, I'm an American.
- 39:01I want our president to be successful. I want her to be out
- 39:04there representing the world, representing Americans the world and be strong, right,
- 39:07And it's just a challenge because Joe Biden is just he's clearly in failing health.
- 39:13Because an own administration can see that. They saw that when they put
- 39:15him out there to talk about the Special Counsel's report, and he was just
- 39:21struggling, you know. And this has been going on for a while,
- 39:23and I think the American voters are seeing that, as the American publicans seeing
- 39:27that. I think that is really helping Donald Trump, because even though Donald
- 39:30Trump is only about three years younger than Joe Biden, he clearly has a
- 39:34lot more vim and vigor when he's out there speaking, you know, for
- 39:37good head daddy. I'm not a fan of Biden, but when I watch
- 39:40him, I'm cringed, cringe worthy because I don't want him to fall apart
- 39:45and fall the pieces, because that's not good for anybody. And I'm actually
- 39:49a little bit nervous about the state of the Union coming up. I can't
- 39:52imagine he can talk for an hour. I'm with you. I mean,
- 39:54you know, it's in the evening. I mean, this is going to
- 39:57be a real challenge and we'll see how he does. Right, But you
- 40:00know your question about Michelle Obama, I do think there's something going on here,
- 40:04you know, I think a lot of a lot of Conservatis have been
- 40:06saying this. You've seen a lot of reports in various various newspapers about this,
- 40:09but you just look at it. I mean, you've got David Axelrod,
- 40:12one of the chief strategists for Barack Obama, out there talking about how
- 40:16why is Joe Biden running for president? This is weeks ago. Then all
- 40:20of a sudden, Michelle Obama's on TV with their hair all done up,
- 40:22looking good, saying I'm word about the state of the country. And now
- 40:25just this past week, you've got you've got four former White House staffers from
- 40:30the Obama administrations saying, you know, Joe Biden does la is ready for
- 40:32prime time? That feels like it's shive in the back. And look,
- 40:37these super delicates and Democratic conventions, unlike the Republican Party, can't actually make
- 40:40it happen at the convention. So you know, you might be seeing a
- 40:44real effort by the Democratic Party base to take Joe Biden out. And the
- 40:49crazy thing is they've got Kamala Harris, but they don't like her anymore than
- 40:52we like her, maybe even less, and so they're trying to put somebody
- 40:54else up. And you know, for them, their view is if it's
- 40:58going to be knocking, Michelle is not gonna be Kamala Harris. It's got
- 41:00to be somebody like a Michelle Obama or an Oprah Winfrey and over Winfree ain't
- 41:05running from president, and it can't be Gavin Newsom because you can't use Surp
- 41:07Kamala, right, you got you have to you couldn't do that, right
- 41:12that guy, and that guy has run California into the ground. I mean,
- 41:14I don't I understand how anybody's even talking about Gavin Newsom as potential presidential
- 41:17candidate. Literally, my home state of California is in the tank because of
- 41:22his leadership. There is no chance actually can give me a serious contender for
- 41:25president, even though he is a very good looking man. And I think
- 41:28that's what he's got going for him, to be honest with you, That's
- 41:30about it. And let me ask you about the Trump side of it.
- 41:31Though all of these legal charges are beginning to mount, I mean, I
- 41:36think there are some big things that are going to be happening in May.
- 41:38For sure. Does he make it to the finish line with all of this.
- 41:43I mean, look, I'll be candid with you. I think Donald
- 41:45Trump is going to face a lot of serious issues in these cases, right,
- 41:49particularly the classified documents case is gonna be a real challenge for him because
- 41:52it's going to be hard burned him out in a successful defense. There.
- 41:54Now that being said, I will say that I think Donald Trump being even
- 41:59being can convicted, you know, being on trial for one but being convicted
- 42:02of a crime. I think he actually benefits him with his voting base,
- 42:07and I think it actually, you know, ends up working in his favors.
- 42:09So I think he's perfectly happy to go forward and see how this thing
- 42:13plays out. I think he's actually gaining votes because of all what's going on,
- 42:16and so I don't think this is a net negative for him. It
- 42:19may be that negative for the nation having a president who might be indicted,
- 42:22might be convicted, might even be in jail on the day he's elected,
- 42:27and it will only cause chaos if and when that happens. But look,
- 42:30at the end of the day, I think this actually is benefiting Dondrop rather
- 42:34than hurting him. But you know, again, you got to ask yourself,
- 42:37you know, as a party, right for conservatives, or even as
- 42:40a nation, do we want a man who brings that much chaos into play.
- 42:45I mean, we've got an eighty year old failing health president, another
- 42:47man who obviously has got a lot of challenges and brings chaos the White House.
- 42:52Some people like talk about wanting chaos, but is that really what we
- 42:54want? Is a nation? He's that going to make successful. That's why
- 42:58I find hard to understand. Legally, can he serve if he is behind
- 43:02bars? Way he just they open the doors when he becomes president and he
- 43:05walks out. How does that work? You know, it's unprecedented. It
- 43:08never happened before, so we don't know. You know, back in the
- 43:12day, Eugene Dev's a Socialists ran for the presidency from a jail cell and
- 43:16said that he would take office. He was elected. He didn't even get
- 43:20close to anywhere near the number of votes he needed to get elected, but
- 43:22he did run from jail, and you know, so we'll see what happens
- 43:25again. I don't I don't think that's a likely scenario. But if it
- 43:29does come to pass, you know, I mean, you got to wonder
- 43:32to yourself, is this the best we can do with a nation? You
- 43:35know, even if you are even if you believe he's in jail on prumpt
- 43:37up charges on things that's never been brought whatever, is this the best we
- 43:42can do? Is the country an eight year old man with failing health and
- 43:45a man who might be beyond bars on the day he's elected. It just
- 43:47seems crazy to me. Let me just say this. Can you imagine how
- 43:51much different we might feel about about the world, about the healthy United States
- 43:55if, in fact you had a Michelle Obama Versusniky alien race versus the bien
- 44:00versus Donald Trump race. It just feels a lot different for our country and
- 44:02for the world. Do you believe the entirety of the judicial system was weaponized
- 44:09against Trump? Look, I think I think some of these cases are hard
- 44:13to explain. I haven't been brought, but that being said, the classified
- 44:15documents case doesn't seem like a hard case. Frankly, it seems like an
- 44:19obvious thing. You just can't take a whole stack in class high keep you
- 44:22know, top secret compartment information out of the White House, bring it out
- 44:25and say well, I declassified in my head, I mean, come on,
- 44:29And nobody's buying that story. And so that's the biggest problem for him.
- 44:31The rest of it. You know, somebody these other cases, look
- 44:34the January sixth case to performs to what you think about what happened on January
- 44:37sixth. If they're going to charge with the insurrection, they shouldn't just charge
- 44:40with an insurrection. This whole conspiracy to whatever, it's really complicated. It's
- 44:45making their lives hard. To get his life hard. It doesn't make a
- 44:47lot of sense. If they thought they had the good they should have brought
- 44:50that case. The founder and executive director of the National Security Institute is our
- 44:54good friend Jamil jaffer who's joining us, and we appreciate him carving out time,
- 44:58very very busy to I do got to take a short time out,
- 45:00so if you can hang in there just a second, we'll come right back.

- 50:22All right, welcome back. We are talking with Jamil Jaffers. You
- 50:24hear them and see them just about everywhere, including CNN, and we're talking
- 50:29about all kinds of different issues. And I want to switch gears. Talk
- 50:31Ukraine, talk Russia, a lot of different information. What's the latest Ukraine
- 50:36in Russia? Yeah, look, I mean I think that Russia has made
- 50:38some games at the state. By the same token, you know, the
- 50:42Ukrainians have made minor games as well, and so you've essentially what you've got
- 50:46is a frozen conflict. Right, nobody's making massive games one way or the
- 50:51other. There is a question whether you finished can sustain the fight without significant
- 50:55US support that obviously is is held up in Congress over the debates between Ukraine
- 51:01AID Israel AID and this question about the border security and so so this is
- 51:07still the fight is still going on. But I do worry that if they
- 51:12don't get our weapons and they don't get resupplied, they are going to start
- 51:15losing a lot more, a lot faster Russia will gain that territory, and
- 51:20then we'll be in a world to hurt because Russia is not going to stop
- 51:22at the Ukrainian border. We've already heard Poland say that they're ready to fight.
- 51:25They're already doing more than their part in NATO. They're doing four percent
- 51:30of their budget versus a two percent required. Right, they're willing to go
- 51:32to eight percent if they need you to fight Russia. But they are not
- 51:35gonna able to do it on their own. And I mean, you know,
- 51:37can you imagine a world in which Russian actually succeeds to take Ukraine and
- 51:40then it starts to go further. That is not a world we want to
- 51:44live in. We've got it, We've got to win this fight. Ukraine's
- 51:46got to win this fight, and we got to give them everything it takes
- 51:50to win that fight. The problem is the Bide administration for two years has
- 51:52been leaking in weapons slowly, so we're just spending a ton of money and
- 51:55not really winning the war. We need a strategy to win this war.
- 51:59We should not give it up. We should put the money in, but
- 52:00we need if we need to double down, double down and let's Ukrainans win.
- 52:04So you honestly believe that Ukraine is step one in a process across Europe.
- 52:09I have no doubt about my Look, they didn't stop at Crimea when
- 52:13Barack obabble then take Crimea back in twenty fourteen, Everyone's like, well that's
- 52:16gone. It is what it is. And then they went in and probably
- 52:20take Kiev right, and we were able to push them back with our weaponry
- 52:22and they're brave fighting. And now we're in a question whether they're going to
- 52:27be able to sustain that. And the reality is that turns on us dollars,
- 52:30it turns on us weapons. By the way, I want to note
- 52:32this lee, which is to say, you know, everyone thinks this money's
- 52:35being spent in Ukraine. It is not the vast majority of our America's money
- 52:38that's going to this fight. As being spent here in the United States to
- 52:42buy American weapons. They buy American workers and then shot them over seats to
- 52:45the Ukrainian so to be sure they're getting the benefit of that money, but
- 52:49it's being spent on American jobs and American defense units here in the United States.
- 52:52Putin threw out a threat of nuclear war the other day. Any thoughts
- 52:55on that. Look. Vladimir Putin has been waving around the new through the
- 53:00threat since the beginning of this conflict, and it's partly what's got the Biden
- 53:02administration on the run. They're very afraid that he might be tempted to do
- 53:06it, and we should all be worried about that. Right. This is
- 53:08a country with a tremendous number of nuclear weapons, but there's a reason why
- 53:12they've never used them. It's because we have a tremendous round of nuclear weapons
- 53:15and they don't want to start that fight. It doesn't end well for anybody.
- 53:17It may even and civilization as we know it. He's not going to
- 53:22go down that road unless he sees an existential threat. We don't need to
- 53:25go down that road and make it extential for him. All we need to
- 53:28do is push him out of Ukraine where he is and push him back to
- 53:31his border. If we're able to do that and a lot enable that Ukrainians
- 53:35to do that without putting troops on the ground, we should do that.
- 53:37The reality is we just have not put the weaponry in the fight. We've
- 53:39barely got m one Abrams tanks in the fight, barely got sixteens in the
- 53:44fight. We need to cripple down on that. That will cost money,
- 53:46to be sure, but that is money better spent than the Russians succeeding at
- 53:51this war and ultimately costing us. Look, we've seen the story before World
- 53:54War One. We're hesitant to get in. World War Two, were hesitan
- 53:57to get in, and each time that happened, it's more troops, more
- 54:00money, more American blood presator instead of doing it ahead of time and getting
- 54:05the all has to fight the fight and putting our money in wet brain behind
- 54:07them. Russia Ukraine is not the only war. We've got a war happening
- 54:12on fronts in Gaza. I'm of the mindset that need to annihilate and get
- 54:15rid of Hamas. Where are you in the Gaza Israel conflict? Look,
- 54:21there is not going to be a ceasefire until Hamas is destroyed. And that's
- 54:24perfectly legitimate for these really to expect that after they suffered the equivalent of a
- 54:29dozen nine to eleven attacks on a population adjustment basis on that day in October
- 54:32seventh. So they're well within in their rights to take out Hamas. They're
- 54:37not going to stop fighting. There will not be a ceasefire. So anybody
- 54:38in America's things that's going to happen is living a mythical dream. The reality
- 54:43is that the only way this thing gets won is for the hostage to be
- 54:46traded back and ultimately a deal to be done where Hamaski gives up its control
- 54:51over Gaza. That's the only thing that is really will accept. And that's
- 54:53completely reasonable given what happened to in the October seventh the US to start talking
- 54:58about that, the Bide administrations you're talking about it is going to talk about
- 55:00a ceasefire. That's Chaim Eric. What's Gaza look like when this is all
- 55:05done? In your mind? Look, I mean, Gaza is has long
- 55:08been a very difficult situation. You got two mill impact in a very tight
- 55:12space. Right, they're economically disenfranchised, they're having real challenges right. Israel's
- 55:16got to realize that at Gaza, that's that's not productive. It is not
- 55:21going to be successful sitting on its border, no matter how many, no
- 55:23matter how deep a zone, you create a dead a clear zone between Israel's
- 55:30border and Gaza. Until you can figure out a way to get the power,
- 55:32the West Bank and Gaza working together effectively, get them actually creating economic
- 55:37success, They're not going to succeed. That's going to require the Arab States
- 55:40to do their part. It's going to require Israel to create that separation and
- 55:45ultimately figure out how to get Gaza into the right place. It's just leaving
- 55:49in the hands on Hamas for the last ten years, fifteen years has not
- 55:52been a successful strategy. We've got to figure something better out. Jamail Jaffer,
- 55:55founder and executive director of the National Security Institute. You love when we
- 56:00get a chance to sit out and chat with him a bed. I got
- 56:02one more one more topic. What is China waiting on to move on Taiwan?
- 56:07Look, I think the lesson that China has taken away from the Russian
- 56:10War in Ukraine is if you're gonna go in, go in full force,
- 56:15end the conflict before anybody has a chance to get there four weapons of the
- 56:20bike, or bring their own weapon, or bring their own fruits to bear.
- 56:22So, look, the US has a lot of assets in the region,
- 56:25but not nearly enough in Taiwan, in the China region, in the
- 56:30in the South China Sea, in that area, We've got enough there to
- 56:32start a fight and not win a fighte And China knows that, and so
- 56:36they go in and end and end that battle for Taiwan in a week or
- 56:39two, knowing's ought to fight a resistance in the mountains, right, but
- 56:43in the primary battle, they know the US won't show up because we just
- 56:45can't get there in time. Jamil, I got to jump in. We're
- 56:49out of time. I thank you very much. I know you're slammed busy.
- 56:52You can see Jamil Jaffers just about everywhere. Sure, Brank, we'll
- 56:54come back. We're on lin Dell TV. Next. Stick around. You're
- 56:58listening to the USA Audio Network. It thing costs less, but people are
- 57:08happier with it. That sounds like something to look into, and that is
