- 0:00Speaker 1: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah. Here
- 0:04Speaker 1: for You, Here for good.
- 0:06Speaker 2: You, I K.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Welcome to your Monday, The Big Show with Froggy, John
- 0:10Speaker 3: and Megan.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Good Morning.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Good morning John, Good morning, Megan, Morning Frog, Good morning Man.
- 0:15Speaker 1: What a weekend started off on Friday night, Megan and
- 0:18Speaker 1: I went to the Swamp in Gainesville, saw more and wallin. Megan,
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you go first. I mean a one
- 0:26Speaker 1: out of ten? What would you call the show?
- 0:28Speaker 4: One hundred million, bazillion?
- 0:30Speaker 5: Wow, it was so good.
- 0:31Speaker 4: It was that good.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I mean he does not stop from start to finish.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That stage is huge. He runs all over that day
- 0:41Speaker 1: on stage. He does it from both sides. He does
- 0:43Speaker 1: it from the front, He goes all the way out
- 0:45Speaker 1: to the very end. He high fives the audience all
- 0:48Speaker 1: the way through, signs autographed me It's incredible how it's
- 0:51Speaker 1: very difficult at a stadium to make the audience feel.
- 0:55Speaker 5: Like you're right there with them.
- 0:57Speaker 1: But Megan, would you agree that in some weird way,
- 1:00Speaker 1: he makes it feel almost intimate in a stadium setting.
- 1:04Speaker 6: Yes, absolutely, And I think that's part of the power
- 1:07Speaker 6: of Morgan Wallen and who he is as a performer,
- 1:10Speaker 6: because when I saw him the only other time was
- 1:14Speaker 6: in college at a little bar in Mississippi.
- 1:17Speaker 4: It was like fifteen dollars.
- 1:19Speaker 6: Tickets and I felt the exact same way there as
- 1:22Speaker 6: I felt in Gatesville.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Wow, it's incredible what he does. And so we had
- 1:26Speaker 1: Thomas Rhett opened the night before on Friday night, and
- 1:29Speaker 1: then last night he was in Gainesville again. Saturday night
- 1:32Speaker 1: he was in Gingsville again and he had Ella Langley
- 1:35Speaker 1: opening for him. That Nella took off on a jet,
- 1:37Speaker 1: went to Vegas and won almost every day on awards.
- 1:40Speaker 5: She could win at the ACMs last night.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah, she's had a whirlwin weekend as well.
- 1:44Speaker 6: And Gavin Adcock made an appearance at the Morgan Walland
- 1:48Speaker 6: show too, and just for like a blink of an eye,
- 1:51Speaker 6: he was up on stage and I only noticed him
- 1:54Speaker 6: instantly because he always wears that little tiny leather vest
- 2:00Speaker 6: shirt and under.
- 2:00Speaker 4: The no shirt and it cracks me up.
- 2:03Speaker 6: But it was like Gavin at Cock's there, gavnag Cock
- 2:06Speaker 6: is gone. It was like, what what are you do?
- 2:10Speaker 6: Are you just hanging out backstage?
- 2:12Speaker 4: Like what are you doing?
- 2:14Speaker 5: It was a good weekend though, so Tim Tebat walked out.
- 2:16Speaker 5: That was the rumor.
- 2:17Speaker 1: He did walk out with Morgan on Friday night, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: then Steve Spurrier walked out with him as far as
- 2:23Speaker 1: he could walk. Sprayer's health does not look to be
- 2:26Speaker 1: great and read to hear. Yeah, he walked out with
- 2:29Speaker 1: him what he could do on Saturday night. So it
- 2:31Speaker 1: was a great show, great weekend. Weather held up. I
- 2:34Speaker 1: know they had a lightning alert on Saturday night, but
- 2:38Speaker 1: I don't think it ended up delaying the show.
- 2:40Speaker 5: When he that was lightning about fifteen miles away, it
- 2:42Speaker 5: stayed away.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It never get close enough where they had to evacuate
- 2:46Speaker 1: the facility.
- 2:47Speaker 5: But a good show in Gainesville. Morgan did a hell
- 2:49Speaker 5: of a job.
- 2:50Speaker 2: So did Morgan on any either on Saturday too. Did
- 2:53Speaker 2: you go Saturday?
- 2:54Speaker 5: I did not. I just went Friday night.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And we need to hear. Did Ella come out and
- 2:58Speaker 2: they do the song they do together?
- 2:59Speaker 5: Yet? Did she guess they did it?
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yes?
- 3:01Speaker 5: They did.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I saw some video of that, and he also did.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Tom Petties won't back down as uh to pay respect
- 3:08Speaker 1: would be Gainesville and the Gators. Yes, well not the Gators,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but Gainesville. Yeah, he was.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Very, very very respectful to the Gators.
- 3:15Speaker 3: He said that he didn't do the chomping thing with
- 3:17Speaker 3: him Tebow wanted to and morganelle, no.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I ain't doing that.
- 3:21Speaker 5: No, he wouldn't do that.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Tennessee fynt that he came.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Out and said, I'd never been to Gainesville. I thought
- 3:27Speaker 1: the first time I came here would be, he goes,
- 3:28Speaker 1: would be to watch the Gators beat beat us Valls,
- 3:31Speaker 1: but was able to.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Do it this time.
- 3:34Speaker 2: He knows the truth though.
- 3:36Speaker 5: He paid a lot of.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Respect to to Gainesville and school and and uh we
- 3:42Speaker 1: saw him before the show started and he was like,
- 3:44Speaker 1: hey man, he goes, I got nothing but nice thing
- 3:46Speaker 1: to say about this place. He said, Uh, you know,
- 3:49Speaker 1: as a as a vol fan, it hasn't been very
- 3:51Speaker 1: kind to me, he said. The guy that's walking to
- 3:53Speaker 1: me out tonight fifteen made me have at least four
- 3:56Speaker 1: bad Saturdays in my life, he said, But uh, I'll
- 3:59Speaker 1: definitely respect this place. But he was he's in a
- 4:02Speaker 1: really good spot. Drive backstage, nobody was drinking drinking.
- 4:07Speaker 2: That's nice.
- 4:07Speaker 5: I mean it was.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's definitely a different experience than it was a few
- 4:11Speaker 1: years ago when we saw more.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Wow.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's very cool.
- 4:14Speaker 6: It's awesome and it was cool to to see all
- 4:16Speaker 6: his band come out and have Gainesville or you know,
- 4:20Speaker 6: University of Florida Gator jerseys on.
- 4:22Speaker 4: It was cool.
- 4:23Speaker 6: And Morgan Wallen he had on a Harley Davidson Gator
- 4:27Speaker 6: or Gainesville sure right, yeah.
- 4:29Speaker 4: And then he had a hat on.
- 4:30Speaker 6: I kept trying to zoom in with my camera so
- 4:32Speaker 6: I could see super like, is that a Gators had
- 4:35Speaker 6: He's wearring or what?
- 4:35Speaker 4: But it was Gators colors, So yeah.
- 4:37Speaker 5: It was Gator colors. He he ain't wearing anything Gater.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Hacking respect about you know though, get your team? Yeah, exactly,
- 4:46Speaker 4: And hey he got to wear some orange so.
- 4:49Speaker 5: That Tennessee orange mascy. Okaddy had.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Let's getting to making three things to get us through
- 4:55Speaker 1: this Jacksonville Monday.
- 4:56Speaker 5: What's going on? Girl?
- 4:57Speaker 6: Trevor Lawrence has taken us through an emotional role cler
- 5:01Speaker 6: over the last week. We thought he'd cut his hair
- 5:04Speaker 6: to look like he was in a boy band. I
- 5:06Speaker 6: had some not the most positive things to say about
- 5:10Speaker 6: the actual cut.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Well, good news is it's a wig. He tricked us.
- 5:12Speaker 4: He bambled us, a bambled, bambooz old boozled. He's still
- 5:16Speaker 4: bamboozling me.
- 5:17Speaker 2: It's a wig.
- 5:18Speaker 6: It's a wig. His hair is still there. So we're
- 5:21Speaker 6: in luck. We'll have something nice to look at for
- 5:23Speaker 6: football season. The iron Man that was going on this weekend.
- 5:29Speaker 6: This is really cool. In the women's division, a woman
- 5:32Speaker 6: named Jennifer Silva.
- 5:33Speaker 4: She won.
- 5:34Speaker 6: She's lived here in jackson the last twenty years. After
- 5:37Speaker 6: twenty years, can we consider.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Someone a local?
- 5:39Speaker 6: Yeah you think, yeah, I agree with that. She completed,
- 5:43Speaker 6: she won nine hours forty two minutes.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Crazy.
- 5:47Speaker 6: The guy that won for the men's he's from Arizona.
- 5:51Speaker 6: He finished in eight hours and thirty minutes. I mean
- 5:53Speaker 6: that's just incredible.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, is amazing.
- 5:55Speaker 3: But the fact they finished, I know, right, I know
- 6:00Speaker 3: you got in the water and then got out and said,
- 6:01Speaker 3: let me do something else.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Yes, sep. Two and a half miles swim, no big deal.
- 6:05Speaker 6: The National Weather Service has flagged Jacksonville for high risk
- 6:10Speaker 6: rip currents until tomorrow, and they actually went ahead and
- 6:14Speaker 6: put on an extra alert on it too, saying these
- 6:17Speaker 6: are riptides that are so dangerous. There's a life threatening
- 6:20Speaker 6: risk involved, so be careful. If you're going to the beach. Hey,
- 6:24Speaker 6: you know what it is. The riptide will sweep you
- 6:26Speaker 6: out of the ocean, and unfortunately it seems like story
- 6:29Speaker 6: after story. Yeah, everyone who goes into save somebody is
- 6:33Speaker 6: the one who ends up right not.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Coming good news from Shaboozy Country ninety nine one wq
- 6:38Speaker 3: i K. Good morning, Welcome to Monday the Big Show
- 6:40Speaker 3: with Froggie, John and Megan.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It was a good night last night in Las Vegas
- 6:44Speaker 1: for Nashville. It's kind of weird to have that. Nashville
- 6:47Speaker 1: went to Vegas Surry night last night to ACMs. John,
- 6:50Speaker 1: I know you watched a little bit. I did as well.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Megan's got a big old follow up on all the winners,
- 6:55Speaker 1: so let's get right into it.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Who were our big winners last night at the ACA Awards.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Well, from all of those potential records be broken, there
- 7:03Speaker 6: was only one person that stood out from that list,
- 7:06Speaker 6: Miranda Lambert. She extended her streak for Song of the
- 7:10Speaker 6: Year Awards. She's one of the writers on choosing Texas.
- 7:12Speaker 6: So choosing Texas one Song of the Year, Entertainer of
- 7:16Speaker 6: the Year, this was shocking to me.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Cody Johnson, how about that?
- 7:21Speaker 6: He finally seems like he's getting his chance to be
- 7:23Speaker 6: in the spotlight for real for him.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Yeah, it's great.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I've seen him in concert and I never know what
- 7:29Speaker 3: does Entertainer of the Year mean, best show, best overall thing.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I think it's best all around if it was a
- 7:34Speaker 3: superlative from high school. And I think I've seen him
- 7:37Speaker 3: twice now and he blows. He blew Blake Shelton and
- 7:40Speaker 3: George straight off the stage. And I don't say that lightly.
- 7:43Speaker 3: He was that good, So that's really cool that he won.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Definitely, a female Artist of the Year went to Ella Langley,
- 7:50Speaker 6: who I think we could say that Ella Ellangley was
- 7:53Speaker 6: the star of the show for sure.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Cody Johnson was Male Artist of the Year.
- 7:58Speaker 6: Group of the Year went to The Red Clay Strays
- 8:01Speaker 6: John Yes.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Love you.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Brooks and Dune when Duo of the Year.
- 8:05Speaker 6: I think they were probably the only one that stood
- 8:08Speaker 6: out to me that was like, this is one of
- 8:10Speaker 6: the old reliables. If you're gonna win something, Brooks and
- 8:13Speaker 6: Dunn or Brothers Socksport usually walked right.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Then it was the Dan and Sheay Award for a
- 8:16Speaker 3: couple of years, but now back to Brooks and Done
- 8:19Speaker 3: we go.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Album of the Year went to Parker McCollum, which is awesome.
- 8:23Speaker 6: And then let's see what else single of the year
- 8:26Speaker 6: choosing Texas Music Event of the Year, Don't mind if
- 8:30Speaker 6: I do, Riley Green, Ella Langley.
- 8:33Speaker 4: And there was one.
- 8:35Speaker 6: That surprised us, the New Songwriter of the Year, the
- 8:39Speaker 6: new the new Female Artist of the Year. Excuse me,
- 8:43Speaker 6: Avery Anna. We hadn't heard of her before, No, I hadn't,
- 8:46Speaker 6: but we looked her up. She said, Monday morning.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Up and Roland, then thank you for taking us with
- 8:50Speaker 3: you the Big Show with Froggy, John and Megan.
- 8:53Speaker 5: You know, John Wagan, we try so many different ways.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It's kind of start our day off the right way
- 8:59Speaker 1: every whether it's a weekend or it's a weekday, whatever
- 9:01Speaker 1: it is. I don't know what your routine is, but
- 9:03Speaker 1: you're always trying to start it off the best way.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And John, I know you have said this for years.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Researchers have found that regularly spending time in nature leads
- 9:13Speaker 1: to higher levels of satisfaction. YEP study found fifty thousand
- 9:18Speaker 1: people from fifty eight countries. This is a large study,
- 9:21Speaker 1: wow shows that contact with nature develops some more positive energy.
- 9:25Speaker 1: They said that the very first thing you can do
- 9:27Speaker 1: when you wake up in the morning, not pick up
- 9:30Speaker 1: your phone, is go outside and touch grass. The number
- 9:36Speaker 1: one thing you can do that's very cool. I try
- 9:40Speaker 1: to do that on the weekend. I do a walk
- 9:41Speaker 1: out barefoot to the backyard. I just walk out barefoot
- 9:45Speaker 1: and stand there and get some morning sun. Because my
- 9:47Speaker 1: wife started reading up on this, she was like, we
- 9:49Speaker 1: got to do this. I mean, this is just science,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, it feels good. It's great to
- 9:54Speaker 1: begin with, and it does. It grounds you, gets you
- 9:59Speaker 1: ready for the rest.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Of the world world. You know.
- 10:01Speaker 1: It's the largest study of its kind that was ever done.
- 10:04Speaker 1: It was some to fifty thousand people between the ages
- 10:06Speaker 1: eighteen and ninety nine from fifty eight countries. The findings
- 10:11Speaker 1: back up the previous research. They show that spending time
- 10:14Speaker 1: in the natural world, like taking a walk in the
- 10:16Speaker 1: country or forest bathing, can.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Improve well being.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Now, forest bathing in Florida probably not safe because there's
- 10:23Speaker 1: if there's a body of water, as soon there's an
- 10:25Speaker 1: alligator in it.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Yeah, or so definitely. Yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Getting outside barefoot in the grass, they say, is one
- 10:31Speaker 1: of the best things you can do, and that costs
- 10:34Speaker 1: absolutely nothing here in Florida.
- 10:36Speaker 6: You just have to make sure you don't actually step
- 10:37Speaker 6: in an anthill because they're popping up. And I'm telling you,
- 10:40Speaker 6: if I did this before work in the dark at
- 10:43Speaker 6: four point thirty in the morning, I think I'd come
- 10:46Speaker 6: into the different experience.
- 10:48Speaker 3: As soon as you get off, you can't. Well, there's
- 10:50Speaker 3: no grass there, Okay, as soon as you get off.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Fifth Country ninety nine one WQIK The Big Show with
- 11:00Speaker 3: John and Megan. We go to Santa Rosa County. This
- 11:03Speaker 3: woman had robbed a bank, made herself pretty easy to find. Normally,
- 11:07Speaker 3: you want to blend in if you're gonna rob a bank, Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 3: you think you think. Well, she went in, she had
- 11:12Speaker 3: the note, she had a gun, she was threatening to
- 11:15Speaker 3: do damage to people. She got an undisclosed amount of
- 11:18Speaker 3: money and walked out. This is not necessarily the highest
- 11:21Speaker 3: of the year because she was in custody within an
- 11:23Speaker 3: hour record time. It was pretty good record time. The
- 11:28Speaker 3: police officer was looking for. They had a description of
- 11:31Speaker 3: bright blue hair and wearing a leopard print jacket.
- 11:38Speaker 1: They looked outside when her Okay, back to the drawing board.
- 11:43Speaker 3: On wq I K on the High Road the Big
- 11:46Speaker 3: Show on your road and thank you for making us
- 11:48Speaker 3: a part of your day. Froggy, John and Megan and
- 11:51Speaker 3: I went up to I took the low Road to
- 11:53Speaker 3: QS one all the way up to Folkston on Saturday,
- 11:57Speaker 3: grand opening of the wind Dixie. They had changed it
- 11:59Speaker 3: to so it's a winn Dixie now, And it was
- 12:02Speaker 3: so great to get up. We had not had a
- 12:04Speaker 3: remote and live appearance up in Georgia. I haven't and forever,
- 12:08Speaker 3: and so it was so great to get up there.
- 12:10Speaker 3: And you run into people that have been listening for
- 12:12Speaker 3: a long time and uh, and they thought, man, what
- 12:15Speaker 3: the heck, hli K's up here? And Folkston. I was like, oh, yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 3: we love you, We love you. Thanks for inviting us.
- 12:23Speaker 3: We'll go anywhere if you invite us, you know, yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 3: thanks for the invitation.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 3: We just met a bunch of people, a lot of
- 12:32Speaker 3: people who get up early with us and drive from
- 12:35Speaker 3: like Valdosta to here and things just all over the place.
- 12:39Speaker 3: You just I love finding out about people's lives and
- 12:42Speaker 3: what they do.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And everybody was so nice up there.
- 12:45Speaker 3: So they all said hey, everybody up and say hey,
- 12:49Speaker 3: say hey to Froggy and uh, and I've just just
- 12:52Speaker 3: had a great time. It was a lot of fun.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Warm.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yes you're on the pavement, yes, yes, yes, but you
- 12:59Speaker 1: had to Hilliard. You had a Hilliard crowd, you had
- 13:01Speaker 1: a yeah, he'll you had a Kingsland crowd.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Bunch came from Kingsland just to say hey. They were like, well,
- 13:06Speaker 3: q y K's coming up here. We're going to go
- 13:08Speaker 3: over and see him.
- 13:09Speaker 4: I love that. That's awesome.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It was.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It was so kind. It was great to be welcomed
- 13:13Speaker 3: in to Folkston.
- 13:15Speaker 5: And you did that on Saturday.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 3: That was Saturday while y'all were prepping for it. No, y'all,
- 13:19Speaker 3: y'all were getting over the Morgan Walland show from Friday night.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I didn't get back home until it was after one.
- 13:26Speaker 1: It was at well after one o'clock in the morning,
- 13:28Speaker 1: almost two by the time I got home. When'd you
- 13:29Speaker 1: get home, Megan?
- 13:31Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 13:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I got home and we were out like a lie.
- 13:37Speaker 6: I mean, I slept the longest I have in forever,
- 13:39Speaker 6: I think midt noon the next day, Wow, I was out.
- 13:43Speaker 6: And then on Sunday morning, I woke up feeling like
- 13:45Speaker 6: I got hit by a truck. I was like, that
- 13:46Speaker 6: was two days ago, Oh my god.
- 13:50Speaker 5: And it was. It was worth every day minute of
- 13:52Speaker 5: it though. It was such a good show.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to get y'all more about that. Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 3: we're going to find out more about that.
- 13:58Speaker 5: It was. It was a really really good show.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Let's get into a Megan's three things we need to
- 14:02Speaker 1: know to get us through our Jacksonville Monday, we'll be
- 14:04Speaker 1: talking more about in the Morgan wall And show.
- 14:05Speaker 5: We went to the Friday night show.
- 14:07Speaker 1: We saw Thomas Rhtt, Gavin Adcock, Zach John King opened
- 14:11Speaker 1: for Morgan.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Saturday night was Ella Langley opened for Morgan.
- 14:16Speaker 1: So that show was great too, and then she had
- 14:17Speaker 1: to zoom off to Vegas to win of those awards
- 14:19Speaker 1: last time at the ACM. So it was a busy
- 14:21Speaker 1: weekend for miss Ella Agley.
- 14:23Speaker 6: It was, and it was a busy weekend here in
- 14:26Speaker 6: Jacksonville too. Trevor Lawrence has tricked us, but I'm happy
- 14:32Speaker 6: about it.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Okay, he was wearing a wig.
- 14:35Speaker 5: I'm mad. I'm mad I fell for it again.
- 14:39Speaker 4: It was a bad haircut though if it was.
- 14:41Speaker 6: Now that we know it's a wig, I can say
- 14:43Speaker 6: that alleged haircut that was horrible.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Man, So it's vague.
- 14:46Speaker 6: His hair is still intact and our luck for the
- 14:49Speaker 6: next season is there. Like John's wife was saying about
- 14:52Speaker 6: like him cutting his hair like Samson, you know, we
- 14:55Speaker 6: might start losing.
- 14:56Speaker 4: No one has cut this man's hair. We are in
- 14:58Speaker 4: the clear.
- 15:00Speaker 6: X University is adding a healthcare simulation center onto the
- 15:06Speaker 6: rest of their new medical projects that they've been kind
- 15:09Speaker 6: of just putting in rotation. And this is really cool
- 15:12Speaker 6: because it's like a huge fake hospital that's all for
- 15:15Speaker 6: training for the kids to get the chance to experience
- 15:18Speaker 6: like a real life simulation of what it would be
- 15:21Speaker 6: like working in a hospital.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really cool, and I know they're building one.
- 15:24Speaker 3: They were doing one with someone like an Emerson in
- 15:27Speaker 3: around Emerson where the Igloo is, Yes, hockey rink, that
- 15:32Speaker 3: place right there, That is one. I think that's for
- 15:34Speaker 3: I think that's for FSCJ, that they're doing a simulated
- 15:37Speaker 3: hospital thing. I think that's a great idea to have
- 15:39Speaker 3: for nursing students.
- 15:40Speaker 5: In doctor cool.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Yeah, and they've got mannequins there too that act like
- 15:43Speaker 6: real people, so they'll have like medical emergencies, they'll.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Need CPR and so the students.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Will have to go to it, yeah, saying Saint Augustine's
- 15:51Speaker 6: free summer concert series at the Plaza kicks off on Thursday, too,
- 15:54Speaker 6: so that's really cool.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Something for us to all to look forward to. That's
- 15:58Speaker 4: certain things you need to know.
- 16:00Speaker 5: You're gonna need to play.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Oh I'm sorry, I was saying. And look at here.
- 16:04Speaker 3: We got another concert.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we got another concert coming up. And guess what
- 16:09Speaker 1: we got tickets for you to win through a pop quiz?
- 16:12Speaker 1: What did he call his nine and ten? What concert
- 16:13Speaker 1: we're going to see.
- 16:14Speaker 2: John shine down? Oh man, these are.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Hot tickets if you want them. You just got to
- 16:19Speaker 1: be good at the pop quiz. Got to know your stuff?
- 16:21Speaker 5: Called his nine?
- 16:22Speaker 3: And did he play that? Did he play that? Did
- 16:24Speaker 3: he play that well? Did he play that? Did he
- 16:26Speaker 3: play you proof?
- 16:28Speaker 5: He did?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yes? He did.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Okay, that's Morgan walland we're the big show. Froggy, John
- 16:32Speaker 3: and Meghan. Froggy and Meghan went to the Morgan walland
- 16:34Speaker 3: show on Friday night, Country ninety nine one w QYK. So, Megan,
- 16:38Speaker 3: were there any surprises with the concert at all? Was
- 16:42Speaker 3: there anything came from left field? Or was just everything
- 16:45Speaker 3: what you hoped it was and better?
- 16:47Speaker 6: I thought he was a little shocking he did not perform.
- 16:50Speaker 6: Thought you should know that. I was really looking forward
- 16:54Speaker 6: to hearing that one right, And I was also really
- 16:56Speaker 6: shocked and extremely excited when Gavitat showed up randomly on
- 17:01Speaker 6: stage in his little leather vest.
- 17:04Speaker 2: For did he sing Updown? Was he on Updown?
- 17:07Speaker 5: Do you remember Frog? They did?
- 17:09Speaker 1: They came out Fronptown, Zach John King and Gavin Adcock
- 17:13Speaker 1: came out for up Down and then Morgan Cowgirls was
- 17:18Speaker 1: Thomas Rhett and Mortem wont okay.
- 17:22Speaker 2: So anything surprised you from.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You know, when he did the Tom Petty song, they
- 17:27Speaker 1: always do the vote, they do the fan vote song,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and it seems that for some reason he said every
- 17:31Speaker 1: night seven summers always win. So he did seven Summers.
- 17:34Speaker 1: He did twenty eight songs and it was funny, Megan,
- 17:37Speaker 1: now that you say that, we were driving home trying
- 17:39Speaker 1: to think was there any song he didn't do? And yes,
- 17:41Speaker 1: I thought you should know is the one song that's
- 17:43Speaker 1: not on there? But he did twenty eight of them. Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: but he also did Tom Petty's Won't Back Down because
- 17:49Speaker 1: if you've if you've been to a Gator game before,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you know Tom Petty from Gainesville. They always play that
- 17:54Speaker 1: song between the third and fourth quarter. And he had
- 17:57Speaker 1: the audience sing that.
- 17:58Speaker 7: Heyababe yeah, and it was just it was incredible to
- 18:03Speaker 7: be in that stadium that night knowing what that song
- 18:07Speaker 7: means to that fan base, because there was a lot
- 18:09Speaker 7: of Gator fans there.
- 18:10Speaker 5: It was I mean, well, sh it was.
- 18:11Speaker 1: It was a loaded Gator fans to know what that
- 18:14Speaker 1: song means to that fan base in that in that city,
- 18:17Speaker 1: in that stadium. It was really cool for him to
- 18:19Speaker 1: pay homage to Tom Petty, one of the greats rock
- 18:23Speaker 1: and roll greats of all time. For him to do
- 18:26Speaker 1: that was super cool. And I really being a Gator fan,
- 18:29Speaker 1: I listen, there's no doubt we know how Tennessee fans
- 18:32Speaker 1: feel about Gator fan the Gators in general.
- 18:34Speaker 5: And we feel the same way. I get it.
- 18:36Speaker 1: There's no disrespect to but for Morgan to pay the
- 18:38Speaker 1: respect he did to that city and that stadium and
- 18:42Speaker 1: Tom Petty and the fans, Morgan gained a whole new
- 18:45Speaker 1: amount of respect on Friday night.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that is really cool, A lot of fun. It
- 18:49Speaker 3: seems like it was great. Every report. I saw some
- 18:51Speaker 3: people and focused on Saturday and they went to Morgan
- 18:54Speaker 3: Wall and then they were saying the exact same things
- 18:56Speaker 3: y'all were saying about how cool it was.
- 18:59Speaker 6: It was just experience I mean to be there and
- 19:02Speaker 6: just one of those moments where you're listening to live
- 19:07Speaker 6: music and you feel like this is seriously unforgettable.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna tell you right now that as much
- 19:13Speaker 1: as I enjoyed the show and Megan, we were standing very.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Close to one another in the pit.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Yeah, there were these four girls and I'll almost get
- 19:21Speaker 1: choked up telling the story because it was so incredible.
- 19:24Speaker 5: There were these four girls. They were in there.
- 19:27Speaker 1: They were maybe late teens, early early twenties, and they
- 19:33Speaker 1: sang and screamed every word to every song. And to
- 19:39Speaker 1: watch what live music does for people is it is
- 19:43Speaker 1: life changing, what happens with music. And to see Morgan
- 19:47Speaker 1: take it all in. At one point, Megan, if you
- 19:49Speaker 1: remember early in the show, he just stops and just
- 19:52Speaker 1: he walks to the end of the stage, each tip
- 19:55Speaker 1: of the stage, and he just stands there and he's
- 19:57Speaker 1: not saying anything. He's just got the microphone down by
- 19:59Speaker 1: his side, stands it. And then he said, I just
- 20:01Speaker 1: take him innute every night to take this in because
- 20:03Speaker 1: this won't last forever. And he really seems like it.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Things are different right this time around. I mean, he's
- 20:10Speaker 1: had his troubles these things that have gone on, he
- 20:14Speaker 1: really seems to be appreciating it, taking it in and
- 20:16Speaker 1: I don't think he's gonna screw this one up.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Well, that is great and it's great to see that
- 20:20Speaker 3: because you know, we see him, we see him at
- 20:22Speaker 3: the beginning of their careers where their head is down,
- 20:24Speaker 3: eyes are up, but they're just slogging through it. They're
- 20:26Speaker 3: just getting to the next night and the next night,
- 20:28Speaker 3: and sometimes they end up finding some vices that keep
- 20:31Speaker 3: them going, which end up being horrible for him in
- 20:34Speaker 3: the long run. But to see them come through that
- 20:37Speaker 3: turn the corner, clean up and go, yeah, I really
- 20:41Speaker 3: do still enjoy this, but I'm doing it on my
- 20:43Speaker 3: terms this time. I'm not slogging through four hundred nights
- 20:46Speaker 3: in three hundred and sixty five days, right.
- 20:48Speaker 6: And how cool is it that the fan base gets
- 20:51Speaker 6: to see that side of Morgan wall in two and
- 20:53Speaker 6: these massive amounts of people where it's almost feels like
- 20:56Speaker 6: you're being let into seeing a part of more Wallen
- 21:00Speaker 6: that seems so genuine And I mean he loves a
- 21:02Speaker 6: really private life, so from the fan perspective, outside of
- 21:05Speaker 6: his music, and you know, some things with his child
- 21:09Speaker 6: that we see in the news. Other than that, we
- 21:12Speaker 6: really don't know a whole lot about it, you know.
- 21:15Speaker 6: From the fan perspective, I think we're better.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Off sometimes not knowing a lot about people.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Because they're human and they're dumb, and they do stupid
- 21:22Speaker 3: things we enjoy.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Kimberly, is he older or younger?
- 21:26Speaker 8: I think he's younger, just by one.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Year, thirty three years old. Great guest, Kenzie, great direction, Kimberly,
- 21:32Speaker 3: you get that, all right? Some in this room felt
- 21:36Speaker 3: like we got some rest this weekend. And then there's Megan.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It comes to the question, it's a survey. What percentage
- 21:44Speaker 3: of Americans can't even remember the last time they felt
- 21:48Speaker 3: fully rested? Kimberly, what percentage of Americans do you think
- 21:53Speaker 3: think that, Kenzy? Is that number higher or lower?
- 21:57Speaker 5: Lower it is?
- 21:58Speaker 3: Kimberly might be burning that can at three ends? You
- 22:01Speaker 3: let me too, Yeah, the actor is only twenty percent.
- 22:04Speaker 3: But Kensey went in the right direction. All right, here
- 22:09Speaker 3: we go, time for the tide breaker. If you know
- 22:11Speaker 3: the answer to this question, shout your name. I will
- 22:14Speaker 3: give a multiple choice. Which is older Atlanta, Georgia or Jacksonville, Florida.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Kimmy Kimberly.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I heard Kinsey, Kensey, you know you would think that,
- 22:28Speaker 3: and it's not correct. It is Jacksonville, Florida by fifteen
- 22:32Speaker 3: years fifteen years older than Atlanta, Georgia.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy?
- 22:36Speaker 5: Kenzie?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Thank you for trying. But Kimberly is going to be
- 22:38Speaker 2: our winner today.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Thank out, Kimberly, Thank you, James, you two, Kenzie, thank
- 22:45Speaker 3: you so much.
- 22:46Speaker 2: And Kimberly. Shine Down awesome.
- 22:49Speaker 4: I'm almostly so excited. Are you guys going to do
- 22:52Speaker 4: like a mother daughter together?
- 22:56Speaker 1: Possibly?
- 22:56Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 22:57Speaker 5: She'll probably want to take like one of her friends
- 22:59Speaker 5: or something.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Kimberly winning it for her mom.
- 23:02Speaker 5: I love that. You gotta love that.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Absolutely. Way to go.
- 23:05Speaker 3: More Shineddown tickets Jacksonville's very own Shindown tomorrow morning at seventeen,
- 23:09Speaker 3: we'll grab two more contenting with the big Show. It's Froggy,
- 23:12Speaker 3: John and Megan.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Welcome back from your weekend. It was a busy weekend.
- 23:16Speaker 1: How was yours?
- 23:17Speaker 5: Meghan?
- 23:17Speaker 4: It was great. I got to, you know, hang out
- 23:19Speaker 4: with you at Morgan Wallen.
- 23:20Speaker 6: That was probably the best weekend I could ask for.
- 23:24Speaker 5: It was fun.
- 23:25Speaker 1: We had a really good time at that show, and
- 23:26Speaker 1: then we spent the rest of the weekend kind of recovered.
- 23:28Speaker 5: And John, you went up to Georgia.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I was in Folkston.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I saw some people from Hastings, people from Kingsland all
- 23:36Speaker 1: came over to see John.
- 23:37Speaker 2: It was a great time.
- 23:39Speaker 5: So it was. It was a good weekend.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I got a quick question for you guys, A very
- 23:42Speaker 1: strange question, but I'm gonna ask both of you. Megan, John,
- 23:45Speaker 1: do you lock the bathroom door if it has a lock?
- 23:50Speaker 5: When you go Meghan.
- 23:51Speaker 4: At home, you're asking yes, No, John.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Do you I lock it if there are guests?
- 23:59Speaker 3: Well, and if I if my the grand if my
- 24:01Speaker 3: grandson's coming over, I lock it. Now I lock it
- 24:04Speaker 3: more because just in case he comes over. But no,
- 24:07Speaker 3: we we usually consider a closed door a locked door,
- 24:10Speaker 3: you know, if the bathroom, I agree, I agree, but
- 24:13Speaker 3: I do lock it if guests are in the they're
- 24:16Speaker 3: just you know, you don't.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Surprise, how about you?
- 24:21Speaker 5: So that I do? I do? And and it's weird.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I don't know why, but like if I if I
- 24:25Speaker 1: go get in the shower, I'll lock the door because
- 24:28Speaker 1: for some reason, I don't know why. When I'm in
- 24:32Speaker 1: the shower, my family likes to congregate in the bathroom
- 24:36Speaker 1: and you're like, so, what are you doing. I'm like, no, no, nobody, No,
- 24:40Speaker 1: nobody's coming. No, I don't want like, all of a sudden,
- 24:42Speaker 1: Lisa will have to take off her makeup. And then
- 24:44Speaker 1: my son, if he's home from college, he'll want to
- 24:46Speaker 1: have a conversation with me.
- 24:48Speaker 3: He's got no, he's got a captive audience. That's what
- 24:50Speaker 3: it is. They've got their captive audience. You're normally walking somewhere,
- 24:54Speaker 3: so they don't have time to catch you. But I said,
- 24:56Speaker 3: oh my gosh, he's in the shower.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 24:58Speaker 5: We're not gathering here.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Random online poll ask do you lock your bathroom door?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Thirty four percent of people say they always lock the
- 25:06Speaker 1: bathroom door no matter what. Thirty two percent say they
- 25:09Speaker 1: lock it only if guests are over. So that's like John,
- 25:12Speaker 1: which that makes sense. Yeah, And twenty one percent say
- 25:15Speaker 1: they never lock it even if guests are over, and
- 25:17Speaker 1: eleven claim like Megan, that they don't even shut the door.
- 25:22Speaker 2: No door in a barn.
- 25:24Speaker 6: And if with my boyfriend's the shower, I want to
- 25:26Speaker 6: go in there too and talk to him, and he'll
- 25:28Speaker 6: do the same thing.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I'll perch on the sink and.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Y'all, dude, is there no private Okay, So then where's
- 25:35Speaker 1: the private spot in your house? I mean, the bathroom
- 25:37Speaker 1: is where you usually go to get away from everybody
- 25:39Speaker 1: and go. I can come in here and close the door,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and I'm pretty well guaranteed nobody's gonna bother me in
- 25:44Speaker 1: Megan's house. You guys, you don't even need doors.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I don't shut the door.
- 25:48Speaker 6: Actually, my boyfriend medt to comment to the other day
- 25:51Speaker 6: about maybe sometimes we should shut.
- 25:53Speaker 4: The door of Megan.
- 25:55Speaker 6: We're going in the bathroom in the main hallway, because
- 25:58Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, Charley, go.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Whoa bathroom trips fall into usually two categories one two Okay,
- 26:08Speaker 1: One one, I get, maybe you don't close the door, sure,
- 26:11Speaker 1: Number two you should probably close the door.
- 26:14Speaker 6: We have extremely hearing loss from the military in my house.
- 26:17Speaker 6: I'm like, how are you hearing any of this? The
- 26:20Speaker 6: TV's on level forty five?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Don't the bathroom.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I don't know if it's the hearing where we're we going.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I don't know if that's the sense that we're concentrating on.
- 26:29Speaker 3: At least in my house. That's why my wife locks it.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Pad locks it and tries to find more insulation.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So anyway, there you go. Bathroom habits. It's so crazy
- 26:40Speaker 1: how bathroom habits are weird between different people. You don't
- 26:43Speaker 1: understand when you are win somebody's home, Like, wait a second,
- 26:47Speaker 1: you don't close the door. No, we don't know. We've
- 26:50Speaker 1: got some friends of ours. They don't wear pants around
- 26:52Speaker 1: the house. There there are no pants house. So they
- 26:54Speaker 1: wear tops, but nobody like Donald dustin.
- 26:56Speaker 8: It everywhere they go. I think it's weird. I don't
- 27:00Speaker 8: know why they were tops with bottle. I mean, okay,
- 27:06Speaker 8: what they're wearin underwear?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 27:11Speaker 8: Tell me yes, yes, okay, yeah, we do that in
- 27:14Speaker 8: my house too, Yes they do.
- 27:16Speaker 4: I haven't.
- 27:17Speaker 6: I'm usually just don't wear any clothes in the house.
- 27:19Speaker 6: I'm like, if the blinds are shut, this is the house,
- 27:21Speaker 6: Like this.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Is my domain.
- 27:23Speaker 6: I'm free here there you go, keep the doors open,
- 27:25Speaker 6: take the clothes off.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Okay, got people tru the Megan's house in and ouse.
- 27:31Speaker 1: She might be naked in the bathroom.
- 27:33Speaker 4: I'm feeling like a weirdo.
- 27:37Speaker 5: It's good, Megans. Three things they need to know for
- 27:39Speaker 5: your Jack's Monday. What's going on?
- 27:41Speaker 6: First and foremost, If you haven't heard the news. Trevor
- 27:43Speaker 6: Lawrence was wearing a wig. He did not cut his hair.
- 27:47Speaker 6: They made it look very very believable, very believable.
- 27:51Speaker 4: I mean we saw them taking the scissors to it.
- 27:53Speaker 3: And the Jaguars even lied to us about that. Yes
- 27:55Speaker 3: it's true, Yes it's true, and it wasn't.
- 27:57Speaker 4: But it was a good video for the schedule. I
- 28:00Speaker 4: enjoy that.
- 28:00Speaker 5: So I'm mad. I'm mad. I feel for that.
- 28:03Speaker 6: Long lived the locks, the iron Man that happened this weekend,
- 28:07Speaker 6: some really cool things that happened out of it. And
- 28:10Speaker 6: then Froggy told me about something a little tragic. So
- 28:12Speaker 6: let's talk about the good stuff first. There's a woman
- 28:15Speaker 6: named Jennifer Silva. She won the women's division. She's been
- 28:18Speaker 6: living in Jacks for the last twenty years, so one
- 28:20Speaker 6: of our own. Nine hours forty two minutes is how
- 28:22Speaker 6: long it took her to win. And Froggy was telling
- 28:25Speaker 6: me that during the race, a man got hit by
- 28:28Speaker 6: a car and then still managed to finish the race.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he was fifty miles into the bike portion got
- 28:35Speaker 1: hit by a truck on knock A t Parkway and
- 28:38Speaker 1: then had sixty miles left of the bike. Portion and
- 28:41Speaker 1: then still had to run the marathon, and he said,
- 28:44Speaker 1: he asked himself, can I continue?
- 28:46Speaker 2: I am?
- 28:46Speaker 5: He continued on, he finished, and then he got medical
- 28:49Speaker 5: help after.
- 28:50Speaker 6: The athletes we hadn't down are just absolutely incredible human beings.
- 28:54Speaker 6: This week, specifically until tomorrow, but the rest of the week.
- 28:58Speaker 6: Still be careful in the National Service has issued high
- 29:01Speaker 6: risk rip currents and until tomorrow life threatening risks, So
- 29:06Speaker 6: please be careful if you find yourselventy.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Nine one WQIK with the All American Big Show running
- 29:11Speaker 3: non stop right now, good to be with.
- 29:13Speaker 5: You, good good show.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Last night in Las Vegas the ACMs, Cody Johnson taken
- 29:19Speaker 1: home the big award of the Night Entertainer of the
- 29:22Speaker 1: Year for the twenty twenty six ACMs and dedicated his
- 29:26Speaker 1: award actually to Luke Combs.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Oh that might be because Luke Combs, if you would
- 29:31Speaker 6: have secured Entertainer of the Year, would have gotten that
- 29:33Speaker 6: triple Crown award.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Huh.
- 29:35Speaker 5: He said.
- 29:35Speaker 1: There's a man that was up for this award that
- 29:37Speaker 1: I personally watched to vote his life to country music,
- 29:40Speaker 1: and it was Luke Colmbs. He said, I was there
- 29:42Speaker 1: the night in Australia when his wife gave birth to
- 29:44Speaker 1: one of their sons. I watched the anguish, I watched
- 29:47Speaker 1: the defeat on his face for not being there because
- 29:49Speaker 1: he was across the world playing music in a sold
- 29:51Speaker 1: out arena. The next night, right after, I watched him
- 29:54Speaker 1: get on stage and absolutely murder the stage, go on
- 29:57Speaker 1: stage and play country music and preach the message of
- 30:00Speaker 1: music to a bunch of Australians across the world. So
- 30:03Speaker 1: tonight I want to dedicate my first Entertainer of the
- 30:06Speaker 1: Year award to my buddy Luke Colmbs.
- 30:08Speaker 5: I love you, brother.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Wow, that's so cool.
- 30:10Speaker 6: And you know, when I think about it, Cody Johnson
- 30:12Speaker 6: and Luke Combs kind of are similar in the way
- 30:14Speaker 6: that they do things. You know, they're not all They're
- 30:19Speaker 6: not putting themselves out there like a Jelly Roll who
- 30:22Speaker 6: markets for himself.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Jelly rolls everywhere.
- 30:24Speaker 6: Luke Combs and Cody Johnson, it's kind of like the
- 30:27Speaker 6: music speaks for itself and who they are.
- 30:30Speaker 4: You You feel like you know exactly what kind of
- 30:32Speaker 4: guy they are.
- 30:33Speaker 3: There is no outlying thing where other people have different sticks,
- 30:36Speaker 3: or other people have whatever a big personality the way
- 30:40Speaker 3: Jelly Roll does. All these guys do.
- 30:42Speaker 2: You're right.
- 30:42Speaker 3: I love the similarity there. They just they just get
- 30:44Speaker 3: up on stage again and give it all every night.
- 30:47Speaker 3: And I've seen it happen with both of them. Luke
- 30:49Speaker 3: Combs as a newcomer, Cody Johnson has a newcomer acted
- 30:52Speaker 3: as if there were hundreds of thousands of people watching,
- 30:55Speaker 3: and they put on a great.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Show and just devoted to their families too.
- 30:58Speaker 6: I love the way that they tell stories about their
- 31:01Speaker 6: their wives and their kids and their families because it's
- 31:04Speaker 6: just it's it's almost so like too sweet, where you're like,
- 31:07Speaker 6: you're gonna make me cheer up and I don't even
- 31:08Speaker 6: know your.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Family, but I just I love them too.
- 31:11Speaker 2: That's country years.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It gain it it is. And Cody Johnson's a real cowboy.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Like when we saw him, he was here a couple
- 31:16Speaker 1: of years ago. He's gonna be here two nights on July,
- 31:18Speaker 1: actually gonna be at the arena for two nights. You're
- 31:21Speaker 1: entertainer of the Year. But he was here last year
- 31:24Speaker 1: or year before last. I forget what it was, and
- 31:27Speaker 1: he was there. He's like, we're leaving tonight and we're
- 31:29Speaker 1: going roping tomorrow. He was He's a real to me
- 31:31Speaker 1: he gets on the back of horses and ropes.
- 31:34Speaker 5: He's a real true cowboy and lives the life that
- 31:37Speaker 5: he sings about.
- 31:38Speaker 3: He's confident too, he was he was bragging about his
- 31:40Speaker 3: rope and skills. He was like, Hey, we're going to
- 31:43Speaker 3: I want to win that buckle man, I'm gonna win
- 31:45Speaker 3: whatever it was. He was just like, I'm as good
- 31:47Speaker 3: at that as I am this, but hey, go for it.
- 31:49Speaker 5: Cody.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Yes, he's a good guy. But Cody Johnson's one of
- 31:53Speaker 1: the good guys. Like to see them on the street.
- 31:55Speaker 3: He was there Friday and Saturday night a little bit
- 31:57Speaker 3: Morgan with Posts and the Big Show Froggy John and Meghan.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Good to be with you.
- 32:01Speaker 1: So, John, if I ask you, where do you think
- 32:04Speaker 1: you have states in the United States? What state do
- 32:07Speaker 1: you think you have the best chance of getting struck
- 32:09Speaker 1: by lightning? I would I would guess our home state
- 32:12Speaker 1: right here. You are dead on correct, John, Florida is
- 32:15Speaker 1: your number one. Now, there's a better chance, I'll tell
- 32:18Speaker 1: you this, there's a better chance that you'll bowl a
- 32:20Speaker 1: perfect three hundred than getting struck by lightning. However, yeah,
- 32:24Speaker 1: the top five states getstruck by lightning. North Carolina Alabama, Colorado, Texas,
- 32:29Speaker 1: and Florida.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Megan, you've lived in two of these states.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I've dodged it twice. I guess so.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Far, you guys moved to the number one.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Well that's why the Tampa Bay lightning because Tampa was
- 32:38Speaker 3: the number one the lightning capital.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Of the world.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Yeah. So, and the lightning that's hence the name from
- 32:45Speaker 3: the hockey team.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Is what causes it? Is it because it's hot and
- 32:48Speaker 4: it is by the water.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And there's so much outdoor activities. There's the afternoon thunderstorms
- 32:56Speaker 1: in the summertime. There's just I think there's more lightning
- 32:58Speaker 1: and there's more outdoor activity here, so therefore there are
- 33:01Speaker 1: more lightning strikes. Were ninety seven lightning related deaths confirmed
- 33:05Speaker 1: in Florida during the two decades in which this was
- 33:09Speaker 1: done from two thousand and six to twenty twenty five.
- 33:12Speaker 1: The state average is about one point two million lightning
- 33:15Speaker 1: strikes per year here in Florida.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Dang, my suff got struck.
- 33:20Speaker 1: When it's lightning, go in sight, that's point. Don't do,
- 33:25Speaker 1: not do and the lightning. Remember, the lightning comes before
- 33:28Speaker 1: the storm. So if you're like, oh, the storm is
- 33:31Speaker 1: not here yet. It's the lightning usually precedes the storm.
- 33:33Speaker 5: Go inside. When you hear thunder, go inside.
- 33:36Speaker 6: It was something I noticed when I moved to Florida,
- 33:39Speaker 6: was the lightning that happened outside without any rain to.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Come all evening.
- 33:44Speaker 5: Correll.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll just it, It'll just heat up and start flashing.
- 33:46Speaker 4: I've never seen that before. I mean, that really is
- 33:49Speaker 4: something crazy.
- 33:50Speaker 2: That's how we do.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Gotta be careful getting the Magan Fury things to get
- 33:53Speaker 1: you through your Monday.
- 33:54Speaker 5: That's number one. Starts lightning, thundering, go inside and size.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Trevor Lawrence was worrying a wig. He did not cut
- 34:01Speaker 4: his hair.
- 34:01Speaker 6: He still has his beautiful, luscious locks and the wig
- 34:05Speaker 6: is gone.
- 34:05Speaker 4: And I hope they they did.
- 34:08Speaker 6: I hope they put it in like a museum or
- 34:10Speaker 6: something that would be fun.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Win the super Bowl and then we we'll have fun
- 34:14Speaker 2: with it.
- 34:14Speaker 6: Saint Augustine's free summer concert series at the Plaza kicks
- 34:18Speaker 6: off on Thursday, and the National Weather Service has issued
- 34:22Speaker 6: a high risk rip current warning until tomorrow.
- 34:26Speaker 4: They actually put that it's life threatening risk.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Really, yes, so we got to bring this lady up.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I think she's back, don't make unnecessarily chiny.
- 34:36Speaker 1: If you don't take risks, I'm treacherous roading and don't
- 34:39Speaker 1: swim in the sea.
- 34:41Speaker 2: There you go.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Don't swim in the Big Show extra sponsored by Farah
- 34:46Speaker 1: and Farah.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Here for You, Here for good,
