those down in the state of Texas. UM. Have an opportunity to be

the change that I desire to see. God opened up the door for me

to meet some individuals that have been wrongfully and overly incarcerated for some time now,

and I've been able to connect with some congress people and legislators and some

different people to be able to be that change that I desire to see in

this world. You know, oftentime we talk about what we want to do,

but in this season, I have to be about what God has called

me to do. And that's all about being intentional. Y'all. Y'all gonna

hear me talk about this, and I'm gonna run it in the ground.

I cannot back up off it. I can't let it go. He dropped

it in my spirit. And we faith A lot of us say we have

faith, we seek You first, the Kingdom of Heaven. We know,

we know all of that, we are aligning with the Word. But some

of us. We're not getting that attentional part, and then we wonder why

things don't go the way we want them to go because we're not being intentional

about the things that God has called us to. But again, I am

being intentional. I've taken I've taken this stand on prison reform, and I

am working with some individuals out of the state of Texas. I actually just

missed a phone call from one of the people that I'm working with down in

a state of Texas. I was just trying to set up a video visit

so that I can interview someone that is currently incarcerated. I want to be

able to share that story. Y'all. We don't realize how many people behind
7:46
prison walls that are wrongfully or overly incarcerated. No, I'm sitting I think

about the state of Texas. The state of Texas currently have the highest exoneration

and execution rate out of all of the states. And there's something to be
8:09
said about the state of Texas. You know. Currently I am working with
8:15
Cornell Drummer, who has been wrongfully incarcerated for now thirty one year. Yes,

I think over thirty years. I don't know the exact I can't remember

the exact time frame it has been, but I know that it has been
8:33
well over thirty years. He actually was up for parole this last past May
8:39
was denied again. This man has been an example of a role model,
8:45
if you could say, a role model for someone that is incarcerated. He's
8:48
been just that he's completed all of their programs. He's done so much to
8:54
deserve another opportunity. You know, we all make mistakes, and the fact

that these people in the state of Texas has deliberately this was their objective.

They deliberately and it's all about money. They they call it the double that

they getting paid double for their services. And then you talk about um,

you have lawyers who becomes assistant district attorneys, then they later on become district

attorneys, and then they later on become judges on the court of appeal.

So what chances do these incarcerated individuals have to be free? What chances do

they have if from the start they are doomed? You talk about when they
9:48
walk in the courtroom and they look at the jury, the jury is are
9:50
all white jury or all Hispanic jury? When in the fourteenth Amendment or maybe

the sixth amendments. I don't remember, because y'all know I ain't non scholar,

UM. But they deliberately place these and these are judges. Judges would

tell the prosecutor that they don't want no no, no aggravated charges. They

want capital charges. They want capital morner charges. They won't They don't want

the charges that will allow people to be rehabilitated and to see freedom again.

They want you to bring them capital. And you have cases where they have

signed off on indictments and signed off on stuff that before they even have an

opportunity to even represent themselves. UM. Lord prevents if you want to represent

yourself. But tonight I'm gonna share. UM. I'm gonna share this letter

that Cornell Drummer wrote to Senator Um in Texas. UM. Let me pull

think that it may bring some light to some of the things that I'm talking

about. UM. I tell you I have been able to UM send these

letters to different people. UM. He's one of the individuals I'm working with.

got a letter. While this office may review certain matters regarding inmates and custody

of the take Texas. For the male issue you presented, it is a

matter best managed by the continuity administrator before you should contact directly. Then you

lize sucreity. Our sister may see administration. So yeah, I have to

share some stuff with y'all, UM, but I'm gonna share this letter really

quick. So UM, there's an inmate that I'm helping, y'all. Um,

they have been denying him his mail, so I wrote the busman UM

to let him know that he had been regetting his mail. But this is

a letter UM that mister Drummond had sent to UM. It is a actually

a press release UM. And it is UM concerning UM that we are calling

for an investigation of the UM Convention Conviction Integrity Unit. So those that have

been convicted of a crime and they may appeal or whatever and they shut them

out. Well, we are appeal into the Conviction UM in Terarity Unit UM,

the State of Texas and anyone else that will listen. And this is

the letter that UM I typed up and wrote to them UM, and it's

a it was also a press release. They say we're calling for an independent

investigation urgently requested into the injustice case by the Barracks County Conviction Convict Conviction Intercharity

Unit. And this was sent to UM San Antonio because it actually happened in

San Antonio, Texas, and it was sent out about five days ago.

It's sat Angela Thomas on behalf of Cornell Jackie Drummer is urgently calling for the

independent investigation into the action of the Barratt County Convict Conviction Intarity Unit. I'm

gonna get that right. I'm gonna say see IU from my own y'all,

and what appears to be a concerning injustice case. The request comes out of

an appeal of action have been continuously denied by the county, the city,

the state and federal officials. I want y'all to share this out because the

more people hear about this, the more that can be done. It's a

pendant in the Barrett County District Kirk Office is two properly found motions. However,

no action has been taken thus far by the trial court or the CiU.

Shockingly, it has come to like that the San Antonio Police Department,

Yes, the San Antonio Police Department criminal investigators knowringly destroyed crucial evidence, including

weapons and bullet the bullet content and apparent attempt to prevent retraction. It's a

Adding to the gravity of this situation, a farmer San Antonio Assistant City Attorney

has provided an alternative ballistic report to challenge the legidity surrounding Cornell Jackie Drummer's confinement.

This alarming revelation rises serious concern about the integrity of the legal system in

the undue hardship faced by mister Drummer. In light of these disturbing developments,

They're not sitting quiet and just brushing it off no more. Mister Drummond reached

out to carl o' sherman, who is a congress a congressman in the state

of Texas, and this man told him that he needed to apply for F

one through the Integrity Unit of the conviction Integrity Unit. He's already filed,

and they brushed it off, and they keep offsetting him and keep doing all

kinds of ridiculous stuf, so they offset him for another year. This man

has already served over thirty years. These people are afraid of what he's gonna

do when he gets out, because he's about to expose a lot of stuff

that's going wrong with the Texas judicial system. Y'all. It's so much that

it's going wrong, and we don't realize that these people that have power,

they have power that can control our lives. A lot of us think that

we go to and from freely and that we are exempt from this. You

can be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they can just

say that you did something, and they can have everybody come against you,

and that's your life and ain't nothing you can do about it. And then

when and then a lot of us we think that certain people that have been

in office have truly been for us. But if you look at the laws,

you look at all this different stuff, like you would think that somebody

that looked like you would be for you. You would think that somebody that

that that that looked like you would be for you, that they would go

to back for you. It's not the case. And y'all when y'all are

voting for these people in office up to the president, from your local all

the way up to the president, y'all better do some background checks on these

people and find out truly what they stands are. And I don't care what,

I don't care if they Republican, independent, um, whatever. You

better know that they beliefs or your beliefs, because you got people around here

saying that they for you, but they're not for you. How when you

look at their record, they that during their presidency they did nothing for prison

reform, They did nothing to help you, to to help our people.
