- 0:13Hello, you guys. Welcome back to another episode of the Hawk Ril Energy
- 0:17Podcast. I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is your weekly reminder that
- 0:20it's a new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another
- 0:23day for you to become the Hawk orl Energy you want to attract. Happy
- 0:27Tuesday, you guys. I just want to start off by saying story in
- 0:32advance, because apparently there's construction going on in my backyard today and this is
- 0:37the quietest area in my house that I could find to stay far away from
- 0:42it. But of course as soon as I start recording, they start cutting
- 0:45wood in my backyards, So I apologize for that in advance if you guys
- 0:49hear that in the background, But I feel like it's kind of been on
- 0:52and off, so we might be okay, but I won't know until after
- 0:57recording this episode and editing it if you guys can hear it in the background,
- 1:00So hopefully you can't and you can just hear my voice. But hello,
- 1:03you guys, how are you? I hope all is well? Today
- 1:07is June fourth. I'm obviously recording on a Monday, and you guys are
- 1:11listening to it on June fifth, But happy June guys. I'm very excited
- 1:17obviously to get into another month. May was so so good. I felt
- 1:22like I was just overall so much more positive in May verse the past few
- 1:26months before that. I think it was just because obviously it was the winter
- 1:29season throughout January and April, and I just like needed summer to come asap.
- 1:34And I'm feeling so much better going into warmer weather. It's been beautiful
- 1:38here in Ottawa, and yeah, May was just so so good. I
- 1:42can't explain how excited I am for the next few months. I think these
- 1:47next few months are going to go buy so quick, and I feel like
- 1:49that's always the case with summer. I always feel like it's just like you
- 1:53close your eyes and boom it, we're already in fall. So I'm hoping
- 1:57it doesn't go as fast as I think it's going to be. By every
- 2:00weekend I find in the summer is just chaotic. I don't know about you,
- 2:04guys, but I always feel like it's just so busy. And I
- 2:07think now going into you know, my late twenties, it's getting even more
- 2:12chaotic because there's more weddings being involved in baby showers and all that, and
- 2:15I'm just starting to realize now that like I'm officially entering a new era,
- 2:22like being twenty six. I felt like it was like moving into the new
- 2:24house, and you know, everybody's living on their own and all that,
- 2:29and now I feel like everybody's getting engaged. We're going to weddings, and
- 2:34now some of my friends are actually trying to get pregnant. And I felt
- 2:37like that was a huge wake up call to me hearing that, you know,
- 2:40like my friends were trying, and I'm like, oh my god,
- 2:44Like I'm officially entering a completely different era in my life, and it's honestly
- 2:47quite scary. Like I'm excited to obviously be in a new chapter in my
- 2:52life, but I'm scared, man, Like I'm scared to take on you
- 2:55know, I don't even know, I'm just scared to take on like new
- 3:00things. I definitely think it's hard to adapt a change. I think even
- 3:02moving into this house was a lot like you know, leaving my parents' place,
- 3:06living there for so long, being so comfortable with them, and then
- 3:09moving in with my boyfriend and moving in into this beautiful home that's ours,
- 3:14paying a mortgage, you know, splitting off chores, duties, all that,
- 3:17and yeah, it's just quite scary, but I'm so happy to adapt
- 3:22a change because adapting into this new environment of you know, living on our
- 3:25own and having our own space and all that has been so rewarding and I
- 3:29feel so blessed and grateful and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I
- 3:31love living with Zac. It's the best thing. I love, you know,
- 3:36just spending time with him and being able to do, you know,
- 3:38things around the house together and all that. So yeah, so I really
- 3:42wanted to make this episode about living with your significant other because I feel like
- 3:46that's definitely a topic that I get asked a lot about because Zach and I
- 3:51we have been together for ten years, but we didn't move in together into
- 3:54the last part of a relationship. And the reason being for that is because
- 3:59we started dating at such a young age. We started dating when we were
- 4:01sixteen, and from sixteen to twenty three we both lived at our parents' place.
- 4:10We never moved in together, and we talked about moving in together.
- 4:13When I was in college, I stayed home. I didn't go away for
- 4:16school. I ended up just getting my degree here in Ottawa, and Zach
- 4:20ended up going to trade school. So we both financially were in the right
- 4:27space to rent somewhere. We were like, you know what, let's just
- 4:30save our money live at our parents' places and not you move in together just
- 4:33yet. And eventually, once we reached twenty four, I think that's when
- 4:39COVID happened. I'm trying to remember what age we were when COVID happened,
- 4:42but I'm going to say twenty four. And that was like a really rough
- 4:46patch in our relationship because my parents were very strict in the COVID world and
- 4:51didn't allow us to see each other. So we were almost two months in
- 4:56of not having any one on one into with each other in person, Like
- 5:00we obviously chat through FaceTime and text and all that, but we haven't seen
- 5:04each other in two months in person. And so eventually that's when I was
- 5:08like, Mom, what are we doing here? Like I can't be in
- 5:11a relationship with someone and not see them for any longer, Like how are
- 5:15we going to make this work? We don't know how long COVID's going to
- 5:16be whatever. So at that point, my mom and dad actually allowed Zach
- 5:20to move into my parents place, and that was kind of the start of
- 5:24us living together, which, honestly, it was actually a really good test
- 5:30in our relationship, I found, because you know, we weren't putting any
- 5:32money towards a property or anything like that. We were he was living at
- 5:36my parents place for free, and it gave us a good test in a
- 5:40relationship to see if we could actually live together. And obviously it worked out
- 5:45great. We were able to you know, split off duties, routines and
- 5:48chores and all that being at my parents place, and that allowed us to
- 5:54take the next step in our relationship and you know, actually find a place
- 5:58for ourselves to move into. So during COVID, we bought our first place.
- 6:01We bought a new build. We both saved our money and put it
- 6:04towards the house that we live in now. It took almost two years to
- 6:10build because of COVID. It was a huge delay, so it definitely took
- 6:13a long time for us to settle in. But the reason why I'm also
- 6:15kind of bringing this episode up into this week's episode is because Zach and I
- 6:20officially reached our one year mark this week for living in our new home,
- 6:25which is so crazy and it makes me kind of emotional because it's so crazy
- 6:30to see what we've done to the space, and I'm so grateful and I
- 6:32feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful home, and I love our
- 6:36homes so much. But I also feel like there's so much that I never
- 6:40got done, Like I promised myself to have, you know, all the
- 6:43bedrooms done and all that, and literally both bedrooms upstairs are not complete and
- 6:46my bedroom's not even complete either. So it's just funny how you know,
- 6:50I expected to have so much done by the year mark, and you know,
- 6:54there's still so much to work on. But also I feel like that
- 6:57kind of makes it exciting, because I feel like if I finished everything,
- 7:00I'd want to move on to the next place, you know what I mean.
- 7:02So at least it keeps things still exciting, being able to transform some
- 7:08spaces, like I really want to transform our backyard, I really want to
- 7:11still work on my glam room. I still haven't gotten like a makeup desk
- 7:15or anything. I still need to work on my office. So at least
- 7:18it keeps the house fun knowing that there's other projects coming up and that it's
- 7:21not completely finished. But yeah, so anyways, it's such just so real
- 7:27moment knowing that we've been here for a year and just seeing all the progress
- 7:30that we've made on our first home. But yeah, so that's kind of
- 7:32why I wanted to talk about living with your partner because we reached our one
- 7:35year mark. But there's things that I feel like a lot of people don't
- 7:40express about living together with your partner. Like, first off, we'll get
- 7:44into like how do you know in the relationship when you're ready to move in
- 7:47together? And kind of like what I said about Zach and I I felt
- 7:50like you almost just like know when it's the right time, And I feel
- 7:55like it has to be a mutual decision, Like it can't be one sided.
- 7:58At the end of the day, you guys are both putting your own
- 8:01cost towards the home, and you don't want it to be a one sided
- 8:05thing where one person wants to move in together and one person doesn't. I
- 8:09think you'll just like know when it's the right time in your relationship to take
- 8:13that next step, because obviously, like you need to be completely comfortable with
- 8:16each other and you need to take that responsibility of taking on that next step
- 8:20because there is a lot of work to owning a house or renting a house
- 8:24or anything like that. Like it's not easy, and it definitely, you
- 8:28know, opens people's eyes up in the relationship. It's almost like a make
- 8:31or break if like the relationship is going to work or not going to work,
- 8:35because some people move in together and realize that, you know, you're
- 8:39not meant to be together because you guys get in a lot of fights or
- 8:41anything like that. Like when you move in together, you're seeing each other
- 8:45way more than what you would just you know, hopping around to your parents'
- 8:48place, like you were fully committed into living together, seeing each other all
- 8:52the time. Splitting chores costs everything, and that could cause some arguments and
- 8:58cause some bumps and relationships. So you definitely just need to know when it's
- 9:01the right time for your relationship to make that decision. And as I said,
- 9:05you want to make sure that it's mutual. So once you've figured out
- 9:09if it's like the next step of your relationship to move into a news spout
- 9:13with your partner, you kind of have to talk about splitting costs up.
- 9:18I feel like before you moved in together, like what's your overall budget,
- 9:22you know, what are you comfortable in spending verse your partner Because you know,
- 9:26if you're renting a place or if you're buying a place, you don't
- 9:28want someone to feel uncomfortable or can't afford the place that you're looking at.
- 9:33So definitely make sure to discuss about costs and all that before you find a
- 9:37place. Zack and eyes I said, like, we've never rented, We've
- 9:41never wanted to rent. That was both a mutual decision by him and I.
- 9:45We were just like, let's buy, let's just save our money,
- 9:48and so we both did that, and then we both decided to put a
- 9:52down payment on the house that we felt most comfortable that was like within our
- 9:56budget. So that's how we kind of discuss the cost at that point.
- 10:00And we also wanted to make sure, Okay, what do we feel comfortable
- 10:01paying on a monthly basis, right, because obviously there's monthly costs when it
- 10:05comes to rent, groceries, you know, other expenses. And then for
- 10:09us, it was obviously a mortgage, so we had to make sure that
- 10:13we were financially going to be, you know, okay to spend a fair
- 10:16amount of money on our mortgage. And Zach and I typically do split everything.
- 10:22I feel like now that we're getting married and all that. I feel
- 10:24like we're kind of understanding like who's in charge of what when it comes to
- 10:28the cost of things, and you know, there's obviously one person that makes
- 10:33more than the other. So yeah, I don't know, that's kind of
- 10:35like we make it work. But I know some people like split down the
- 10:39middle for everything, and that's totally fair, totally makes sense. I know
- 10:43some people have like spreadsheets and all that, and if that works for you,
- 10:46great, whereas for us, it's more so like someone's in charge of
- 10:50groceries, someone's in charge of you know, the internet bill all that.
- 10:54But Zach and I do strictly split the mortgage in half, just to make
- 10:58it fair, obviously because it's both of our house. So once you figure
- 11:01out your budget and how much you want to spend on a monthly basis and
- 11:03all that, I think once you finally get the house and you move in
- 11:07together, you can kind of talk about how you're going to split up duties
- 11:09in the house because obviously, living in a house it's a lot of freaking
- 11:13work. Like I literally feel like I'm doing chores like every day. I'm
- 11:18not even over exaggerating, Like I love living in a house, but it's
- 11:22definitely very big and very hard to maintain a clean home. I felt like
- 11:26when I was just in my room cleaning my bedroom. Obviously it's one space,
- 11:31it's easy to keep clean, you know, within a day whatever,
- 11:33But a home like I have three levels to maintain and keep clean and all
- 11:37that. So it's definitely a big shift and it's a lot of work just
- 11:41for one person. So Zach and I didn't really discuss chores or anything like
- 11:46that until we physically moved into the home together because I felt like that wasn't
- 11:50something really to discuss beforehand because we didn't really know who was going to enjoy.
- 11:56What I mean, chores are not always enjoyable, but there's always some
- 12:01things that I feel like your partner will gravitate towards more than the others.
- 12:03So, for example, Zach really takes on all the landscaping, he cleans
- 12:09the garage, he cleans the basement. He's also in charge of toilets because
- 12:13I hate cleaning toilets, so he's in charge of cleaning the bathrooms. I
- 12:16also help with the bathrooms when it comes to like the sinks, the mirrors,
- 12:20all that. But we've kind of split up our responsibilities and then like
- 12:22for me, I'm more like cleaning the floors, cleaning the kitchen, fully
- 12:26the laundry, cleaning our bedroom, all that. So we've definitely found things
- 12:31that certain people enjoy more than the other person. And I think that's really
- 12:35important to communicate to each other because I think if nothing's getting done at all
- 12:39and there's only one person doing all the chores, it could cause obviously some
- 12:43issues in the relationships. So you want to make sure that you're splitting up
- 12:46your duties that way it's fair for the relationship. So that's what Zach and
- 12:50I have done, and I find it's worked really really well for us being
- 12:52able to know what the other person's responsible for. Zach's also responsible for the
- 12:56garbage, for an example, so he knows every third day that he has
- 13:00to put the garbage out. Just things like that, and I feel like
- 13:01it makes our relationship easier living together knowing that people have certain responsibilities to take
- 13:09charge for. So when it comes to also living together, I feel like
- 13:13there's also a routine that sometimes you establish for yourself as a couple. I
- 13:18think one thing before you even get into the routine of like couple things is
- 13:22knowing and remembering that you need to make sure you have time for yourself because
- 13:28I feel like, you know, once couples move in together, I feel
- 13:31like there's this sense of you know, you feel more like connected and you
- 13:35want to be together all the time, and almost like you only want to
- 13:37spend time with each other and do everything together. And you need to realize
- 13:41that it's not healthy to always do everything together. You need to be able
- 13:46to do things on your own time and be able to separate and you have
- 13:50your alone time, have your me time. Like for me, I'm really
- 13:54big into my morning routines. Zach obviously works early in the morning, so
- 13:58he has his own thing when it comes to work. But for me,
- 14:00like even on the weekends, I really like to step aside do my morning
- 14:03routine still get a good workout in whether I'm going for a run a spin
- 14:07class. And I think that with my girlfriends or my sister. So it's
- 14:09good to have hobbies outside of living together and being able to get out,
- 14:15spend time with your friends, or even like being in your own home,
- 14:18like allowing yourself to go take a shower yourself and you know, go watch
- 14:22your Netflix show that you enjoy watching by yourself and allowing your partner to do
- 14:24the same with you know, maybe a hobby that he likes to do,
- 14:28whether it's playing video games, watching his own Netflix show, all that.
- 14:31So remember that it's just important to have your own separate lives and do things
- 14:35alone. I know there's obviously the temptation of wanting to spend all your hours
- 14:41together, especially when you first move in together. It's so exciting and you
- 14:43just always want to be together, But it's just important to maintain your own
- 14:48sense of individuality and just being able to do things yourself. So for us,
- 14:54I feel like when it comes to routine, like Sunday mornings is honestly
- 14:58the only morning I find we really like kind of do together. We both
- 15:01always have slow mornings. We don't really work out on Sunday. We always
- 15:05just like to make breakfast together, sit down, have breakfast together, and
- 15:09watch Netflix show together. That's something that I enjoy because during the week,
- 15:13obviously he wakes up at like four thirty in the morning to go to work
- 15:18and I don't see him at all in the morning, which is like typical
- 15:20in a relationship. And Saturday, I like to do my own thing he
- 15:24likes to do his own things, so I feel like Sunday is really the
- 15:26only time where we get to sit down and actually enjoy some time together.
- 15:30So we make it a priority on Sunday morning to make breakfast together and just
- 15:35enjoy our time together on the weekend, and then our evening routine throughout the
- 15:39week is a lot of it is together. I mean again, we do
- 15:43have our own hobbies. I play soccer, Zach plays ball. He goes
- 15:46to baseball probably two times a week during the evening. So sometimes we'll have
- 15:52dinner together and then he'll be gone for the rest of the night, or
- 15:54vice versa. He'll be gone and I'll make dinner myself and I'll see him
- 15:56later, whatever the case. Maybe, but if we're both home together in
- 16:00the evening, we do have a little routine for ourselves. We make dinner
- 16:03together, we clean up together. We love cooking together. And I think
- 16:07a lot of you guys, if you do follow me on Instagram and TikTok,
- 16:11you guys know that I feel like they get some hate from that from
- 16:14a lot of followers, just saying like there's always a one sided person in
- 16:17the relationship that does all look cooking like that's just leading to arguments and all
- 16:21that, and I'm like, I don't really see that. In zachonized relationship,
- 16:23we really do enjoy cooking together and like, you know, catching up
- 16:27on how his day was all that, and cleaning up together just kind of
- 16:32like with the chores, if that makes sense. Like I feel like we're
- 16:33splitting up the responsibilities in a fair way. And we both like love cooking
- 16:38and we love doing it together. So that is something that we both enjoy
- 16:41doing in our evening routine. I don't know if that's for everyone. You
- 16:45know, there's some people that like the girlfriend cooks more than the boyfriend or
- 16:48whatever. But Zach's a good cook. I'm a good cook. We decide
- 16:52to do it together and we kind of make it a fun evening out of
- 16:55it. So we like to cook together. We like to clean together.
- 16:59Again, it's fair in the relationship knowing that you know, he does the
- 17:02dishes, I do the counters. I do you know, I clean the
- 17:04stove, the floors or whatever. So we typically do that. And then
- 17:08another thing we like to do is we like to go on an evening walk
- 17:11with our dog. You know, I walk my dog, like three times
- 17:14a day, So we like to do that together, just like get a
- 17:17bit of fresh air outside, and then you know, sometimes we'll have downtime
- 17:21together or sometimes you know, we'll do our own thing. I'll go do
- 17:23some work upstairs, watch a Netflix show, he'll play video games, or
- 17:27like I said, he'll go to ball or something like that. So that's
- 17:30kind of like our like daily evening routine every single night. Again, that's
- 17:34something I feel like you just establish over time once you've been living together for
- 17:37a long time. But that's something that we've been doing and I enjoy it.
- 17:41I look forward to it, and you know, sometimes I'll you know
- 17:45make it a priority, knowing that we like to have that you know,
- 17:48little hour two an hour and a half ourselves just to get those things done
- 17:52after work. And yeah, it's nice to just like catch up on his
- 17:56day and enjoy that him and I time, but also being able to you
- 17:59know, enjoy our time ourselves or with our friends or something like that.
- 18:03So just creating that balance in the relationship. So I definitely feel like us
- 18:07living together has definitely bettered our relationship. But I will express obviously like there's
- 18:14no perfect relationship. There's obviously going to be bumps and all that, because
- 18:17I feel like some people, you know, say like, oh, your
- 18:21life seems so perfect and all that, and it's like it definitely isn't.
- 18:22There's no life that's perfect. In my opinion, I'm definitely grateful for my
- 18:27life and I feel blessed to you know, be able to live in this
- 18:30home with Zach and all that. But you definitely discover things over time once
- 18:33you live together of you know, habits or just things that you didn't expect
- 18:41from your partner when you live with them, Like Zach's quite messy, and
- 18:45you know what it is, what it is. I'm like OCD when it
- 18:48comes to cleaning, Like I love a clean space. So I feel like
- 18:51I take on a lot of leadership in my own personal life when it comes
- 18:56to like my job, when it comes to like team environments with sports,
- 19:00I've always been a leader. I've always liked to delegate things. So for
- 19:03Zach, I feel like he, you know, cleans when I tell him
- 19:07to clean, like, I'm like, you need to do this, you
- 19:08need to take ten minutes out of your day just to like organize this space,
- 19:12and then he does it. I felt like if you didn't have me,
- 19:15he would probably be a slob. But that's pretty typical for boys.
- 19:18But that was something that I learned in the relationship that I was like,
- 19:22Okay, he's kind of messy. Is it going to make or break a
- 19:26relationship? Absolutely not, Like that's not something that's worth you know, having
- 19:29arguments about or fighting about it or anything like that. Like all I have
- 19:32to do is really just say you need to take you know, twenty minutes
- 19:34out of your day to actually get this done, and he does it.
- 19:37So it's good to have communication in your relationship when it comes to living together,
- 19:42having a good communication, you need to express things that could be bothering
- 19:47you in the living circumstance because obviously, as I said, when you're together
- 19:52like twenty four seven, you're definitely going to learn things about your spouse that
- 19:55you didn't even realize before moving in with him, because you know, living
- 19:59together is just a different situation compared to you know, living in separate homes.
- 20:03So you definitely need to make sure you have good communication skills and you
- 20:07express how you feel about certain situations. And yeah, if you just don't
- 20:11communicate about your problems, it's really not going to work out for the relationship.
- 20:15So just know that no relationship is perfect. There's gonna be bumps,
- 20:18and know that it's okay. If you're willing to adapt the change and figure
- 20:22out a solution to the problem, that's all that matters. So that's a
- 20:26bit about just like living with your spouse and how like Zach and I personally
- 20:30deal with it when it comes to, you know, splitting costs and responsibilities
- 20:36and all that. But I did want to give you guys a bit of
- 20:38a personal update because I feel like I have not caught up with you guys
- 20:41in a while, and you guys know I love chatting about things that are
- 20:47happening in my life. And I've had a lot of you guys message me
- 20:49about wedding stuff because I feel like I haven't really shared too much wedding stuff.
- 20:53But I'm also in the very beginning stages of everything, so I don't
- 20:59have too much to share. But I do want to give a bit of
- 21:02a rundown of my engagement party because I've had a few messages saying like killy,
- 21:07like why are you renting a venue for your engagement party? Like oh,
- 21:10like why is it so big? Like why are you making it such
- 21:12a big deal? Blah blah blah, because it's true. Typically engagement parties
- 21:15are not like at a venue. Typically it's at someone's house and or your
- 21:21house, and it's usually like, you know, small amount of people,
- 21:23not like a small amount of people, but like you know, forty to
- 21:26sixty people whatever, close family and friends all that, and we're basically shooting.
- 21:32I'm laughing because obviously it's getting expensive and it could be an actual wedding.
- 21:36At this point. We're inviting like one hundred to one hundred and forty
- 21:40people, and we rented a venue and we got a band. We're doing
- 21:45it full open bar, appetizers all night, all that. And the reason
- 21:51being is Zach and I have always wanted a destination wedding. We've always wanted
- 21:56to get married somewhere else, and we always saw like doing an engagement party
- 22:02bigger verse the destination wedding and making it more intimate was more of our thing
- 22:07because I didn't want people to feel obligated to spend all that money to come
- 22:11celebrate our wedding. I felt like, if you can come to our wedding,
- 22:15great, If you can't, please, at least come celebrate our engagement
- 22:18at our engagement party. So, for example, our grandparents, I know
- 22:22they're not going to want to fly to our destination wedding. They're going to
- 22:25want to stay local and they're going to want to be with us on our
- 22:30special days. So the way I saw it was, if I can't have
- 22:33everybody at my destination wedding, why don't I have a big engagement party here
- 22:37in Ottawa where everybody can come and feel included and feel a part of celebrating
- 22:42our love basically, So that's why I decided to do such a big engagement
- 22:47party. I don't regret it at all. I'm actually very excited about doing
- 22:49it, and I think it's something to look forward to and I think a
- 22:52lot of people are looking forward to it. When it comes to our destination
- 22:56wedding, I just like I said, I've always wanted to do a destination
- 23:00wedding. I didn't want to have to stay home and get married just to
- 23:03make other people happy. I feel like, at the end of the day,
- 23:06you need to do what you want to do for yourself and your partner,
- 23:08and Zach and I have just always wanted to go elsewhere for our wedding.
- 23:12So I'm not going to share the destination yet. But guys, I've
- 23:15changed it probably three times, and I'm officially securing a spot. I don't
- 23:22want to share it yet because you guys are going to see it probably in
- 23:25August. I'm going to share a hole. Oh my god, I almost
- 23:27just said the location. I'm going to create a whole like travel series on
- 23:33Instagram and TikTok where you guys will be able to follow along, and you
- 23:34guys will know the location as soon as I get there, because, like
- 23:38it's quite obvious, I can't really hide the location once I get there,
- 23:41but I do want to keep a bit of a secret just because I think
- 23:45it'll be fun once you guys see it. I feel like some of you
- 23:47guys already guessed it, but I'm beyond excited about it and I just can't
- 23:52wait to start sharing more details. But like I said, right now,
- 23:53my focus has been totally on this engagement party since we're making it such a
- 23:57big thing. But we will be traveling to our wedding destination before the engagement
- 24:03party. I know that for a fact because we are looking to get married
- 24:07in September of twenty twenty four, so it's gonna come quick, so I
- 24:12need to be proactive and get a venue secured asap. Right now, I'm
- 24:18in the process of finding a wedding planner. I've already contacted six wedding planners
- 24:22that I have I'm meeting with this week. So once to secure a wedding
- 24:25planner, then she'll be able to help me figure out times in August that
- 24:29we can meet and go to our venues and all that insecure venues. So
- 24:33anyways, I'm not going to share any more information just because that's all I
- 24:37have for now. But right now, I'm still in the process of securing
- 24:40stuff for the engagement party, and I'm also trying to create my bridal proposal
- 24:45boxes, which I'm going to be filming a whole TikTok and Instagram video on
- 24:49of how I decorated and all that, and the whole proposal of giving it
- 24:55to my bridesmaids. I'm so excited about that. The whole theme for my
- 25:00proposal boxes is going to be travel since the wedding is a destination wedding,
- 25:03so I'm like so excited for you guys to see it. I feel like
- 25:07I need to make one for myself because they're so cute. So anyways,
- 25:11that's been really fun and exciting. I've always enjoyed like planning and doing stuff
- 25:15like this, and obviously you guys know that I love decorating and just finding
- 25:18cute things and all that. So I'm very excited to pamper my friends and
- 25:22just spoil them with amazing proposal boxes. So that's a bit of a wedding
- 25:29update. Nothing too crazy yet. I think I'll definitely be able to share
- 25:32more information once I get an actual wedding venue and just share more detail in
- 25:37the whole like experience of finding a venue and all that, especially in a
- 25:41destination wedding. It's not easy doing a destination wedding yourself. So that's why
- 25:47I am hiring a wedding planner, especially with the language barrier and everything.
- 25:51I need to be able to make sure that someone knows what they're doing and
- 25:53finding everything at the location when it comes to like Floris furniture rentals all So,
- 26:00I'm just very excited to start sharing more wedding content with you guys.
- 26:03So i think I'm gonna end this little Big Sister chit chat episode. Let
- 26:07me know if you guys like episodes like this, I would also love to
- 26:10do like a Q and A next time of maybe answering some of the questions
- 26:12you guys might have through a chit chat episode like this. I just like
- 26:17to you know, express some things that are happening currently and being able to
- 26:21give you guys advice on for an example, moving in with your significant other
- 26:25and just talking about, you know, things going on in my personal life.
- 26:29So let me know if you guys want to do a Q in A
- 26:32next time. I think that could be fun, just answering any questions you
