- 0:00I have a question for both of you
- 0:03H what type of pants does a a flat earther
- 0:09wear um is this is this a joke it's just a
- 0:15paranormal
- 0:21pants welcome to multiple
- 0:24nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and
- 0:28Dan MO mble nerdgasm your guide to All
- 0:34Things
- 0:40nerdy that's good that's it that's all I
- 0:45got now going to open VX yeah oh that's the one that's got VOD
- 0:51Canon or something no it's just got um stronger 6 the strength yeah just
- 0:58stronger how do they make it stronger just put more alcohol in it and make it
- 1:02a small size yes yeah well they don't trust him that's why no that's why I've
- 1:07got a bigger one for later my name name Alli if if he's
- 1:14untrustworthy how is making more alcohol in smaller
- 1:19shootable remember they had the was it the depth charge for a while I think it
- 1:23was cartton cold with a shot of vodka in it and then that got pulled from shelves
- 1:28pretty quickly very quickly the Australian government was like no wasn't
- 1:32there one called a stinger or something like that that actually came with shot
- 1:36on the outside test tuby thing you support no you just I don't think I
- 1:41think that was more of just a look cuz you just shot it cuz it didn't taste
- 1:45horrible well it's supposed to be that you dropped it in and then as you drank
- 1:48it started off quite light but then by the time you got to the bottom of the
- 1:51bottle it had gotten quite concentrated but you shot it I remember at c a
- 1:57certain point out in out in wcia where I grew up one of the one of the boys in
- 2:01the neighborhood went on a cruise and came back with the knowledge that you
- 2:05could take something like a bardi Breezer MH put two two bendy straws in
- 2:11it and hold them down at the sides and then if you just tip it upside down and
- 2:16in your mouth it just goes it just falls out it just it's just inside you and
- 2:21then and that's that's young people getting interested in science yeah and
- 2:25then so everyone was doing that and I was like sorry why are we doing this
- 2:29couldn't we just drink something that doesn't taste like [ __ ] that's the
- 2:32thing I the thing I also never understood and I I don't think I ever
- 2:36really did when we grow up drink people used to drink to get drunk sure and that
- 2:42was their goal to get fall down drunk and iink more but my goal is to never ever get
- 2:48drunk being drunk I just like I like the taste of the alcohol and I want to drink
- 2:53it I like the tasty I like that just just before that tipsy [Music]
- 3:00that just keep it there you're drunk Dan and I'm an alcoholic I think I am too at
- 3:06this point so if you get drunk then you got the 3 to four day hangover
- 3:10now oh yeah yeah yeah I can't do that especially because my daughter does not
- 3:15give a [ __ ] about how hung over I am she's like Dad get up we're watching
- 3:20Sheriff C that's why're doing stuff yeah um listener Grant was telling me that uh
- 3:26young people these days drink completely differently to how we do because he's
- 3:30he's a he's a lawyer right he's part of the lawy firm he has a some paralal or
- 3:35clerks or something that are in their early 20s and they had a work drinks the
- 3:38other night and one of them said a I probably shouldn't come to the work
- 3:41drinks I'm not much of a drinker and uh Grant said you don't have to drink much
- 3:46he's like yeah I might just limit myself to four shots and's like we're not going to be
- 3:51doing [Laughter]
- 3:56shots right no shots are when the night's starting to take a
- 4:02turn yeah yeah we could go home now or we could make sure that we're really
- 4:09really regretting this tomorrow again I'm like shots the way people do shots
- 4:14where it's just like get it in get just get it down right I don't want to taste
- 4:17it just get it and like no I I don't why do you want to do that I don't like not
- 4:23that I don't like being drunk I do but I also like the taste of delicious
- 4:28beverages yeah there's plenty out there if you don't like it just swap there's I
- 4:33would rather have a a a tasty drink than
- 4:37a shot right yeah get an Apple Tei if that's how you feel whatever yeah well
- 4:42actually I quite like a martini every now and again I don't but which is
- 4:46pretty much a shot but you don't I'll be honest the last time man
- 4:52my my other friend Luke we We snuck martinis into um the last James Bond
- 4:58movie and it was 9:00 a.m. and I hadn't even had breakfast and I had three
- 5:01martinis and I was vomiting in the toilets after the movie [ __ ] it was not
- 5:07good no I bet in your head it probably sound like a good idea of it mate it was
- 5:12like yeah day opening day what's it called no time to die yeah no time to
- 5:18die vodka martinis of course this is what want to do the problem was you
- 5:23didn't call them breakfast tiies oh yeah if you just called them that it wouldn't
- 5:28have been a problem for you okay your body would have known what to do with it
- 5:31yeah dipped a Quant in
- 5:34one I uh I saw or heard or experienced
- 5:39the music from uh no time to die live on Monday night this looked like a very
- 5:45very interesting musical experience so I went and saw hanima live again I've seen
- 5:51him once before last time I saw him was at Foxwoods Casino which is one of the
- 5:57uh Native American casinos near here I did a decide how to describe it you
- 6:01didn't want to say I was like yeah I I almost said the bad
- 6:05word is that Cally how they're known or do people always pause and have to think
- 6:11about it and then say native American now uh Foxwoods people just say Foxwoods
- 6:15and everybody knows I don't I don't know that it comes up that often yeah I
- 6:18that's why I had to think about it a bit because no because there's there is a
- 6:21phrase casino right that's a an idiom yeah and I think we've talked about this
- 6:25before is that when you they tell you the signs that say you're entering a
- 6:28reservation right the laws of the land are different here so just [ __ ] bear
- 6:33that in mind right um yeah so last time
- 6:38I saw him was was there uh and it was still amazing but it was kind of a
- 6:41smaller scale thing this was at TD Garden which is the big [ __ ] arena in
- 6:44yeah how many how many people were there cuz that place looked packed and that
- 6:48place look [ __ ] TD Garden capacity
- 6:54capacity is about 20,000 people okay I actually built like more yeah that's
- 7:00actually less than I thought too cuz we all concerts now in Sydney seem to have
- 7:04moved to the arena the cluster of Arenas in Olympic
- 7:08Park which like 100,000 people yeah no look this is sick uh loved it
- 7:15I've got one question for you Matt did he do video kill the Radio Star he did
- 7:19not do video kill the Radio Star were you calling out so the other thing is
- 7:23last time too they did they do you know he does all the hits all the movies does
- 7:27some stuff from inception some of the stuff from a no they did uh he did time at the end
- 7:33he didn't do the bo last time he did the you know the uh the dream is collapsing
- 7:39that I don't know if the name of the tracks but you know you know what I mean
- 7:41the the the you know the bit I mean this
- 7:45time he just did time um time is one of the like it's it's one of the all-time
- 7:50great trailer tracks now yeah yeah and it's a beautiful but it's just it's four
- 7:55chords and like arrange beautifully across different instruments and and and
- 8:00but it's Four Courts is what it is Prov it yeah doesn't have to be complicated
- 8:04for it to be good no that's what's so great about Han Zimmer is I mean I'm not
- 8:10going to say he's not a talented musician he clearly is but he knows how
- 8:14to take very very simple Melodies and and simple core progressions and make
- 8:21them just sound he he gets everything out of an idea he can yeah and look he's
- 8:26got some [ __ ] talented people so Guthrie Goin In still guitarist he's
- 8:31[ __ ] incredible he's got like R Panini on violin it's just incredible
- 8:35musicians on stage with him the Her Name Escapes me the woman who the yelling
- 8:40woman from the Dune soundtrack she was there um Lisa Gerard
- 8:46was there the woman who does the singing on The Gladiator soundtrack last time I
- 8:49saw him they did the Gladiator soundtrack but she wasn't there it was
- 8:52just some other singer she pops up this woman pops up the back with the the hair
- 8:57mm and I was like [ __ ] that looks like like Lisa Gerard or someone cosplaying
- 9:01is her no her it's her cosplaying is her The Lion King guy was there why the guy
- 9:07does the I'm not goingon to do it he was there he did a very job of it just when
- 9:13you when you think when you start thinking that um Zimmer is all
- 9:17Interstellar and and Inception all that you start remembering oh no no he won an
- 9:21Oscar in the '90s for writing The Lion King and The Lion King soundtrack is
- 9:26phenomenal stunning we we watched The Lion King couple of month ago here and
- 9:30the music stands out against all the other Disney movies from that period the
- 9:34cartoon or the Remake I'm not watching the [ __ ] remake I'm not watching a
- 9:38live action I forgot you know when you said that I was like oh yeah they did
- 9:41make a sequel no you mean the live action one John I think they're making a
- 9:44live action sequel as well oh God John anyway and they even did uh
- 9:49they did some stuff from dark Phoenix and it was funny because he gets up we
- 9:53could see so we were s i i I spent a bit money on seats cuz I was [ __ ] it [ __ ] it
- 9:59where you were so so where we were you could see the screen that was it was
- 10:05like the what was up next and it also had like the metronome and the time
- 10:08signature and stuff so yeah I was quite interested actually yeah
- 10:14um but uh [ __ ] what was I about to say what was I talking about um
- 10:20um where you sitting Gladiator no [ __ ] there was a whole there was a point that
- 10:25I was about to make I've completely forgotten s trying to backtrack saw
- 10:31things I don't know it's G I'm sure it's very profound
- 10:38though du Phoenix can't oh yeah Duc Phoenix that's right yes thank you he he
- 10:45he was talking about how he's like you know sometimes you work so hard on these
- 10:48films and you always obviously you always hope it's going to be successful
- 10:51and sometimes you get all these musicians in and you work really hard
- 10:55and you're so proud of the score that you think oh this is going to be so
- 10:58amazing and then the movie comes out and it's a bit
- 11:01[ __ ] I don't want to say the name of the movie and then I'm looking up here dark
- 11:06Phoenix on the up on the board and uh yeah so they played some of that I mean
- 11:12amazing score awful movie but he also seems like quite the
- 11:19performer oh yeah yeah he had so so I don't know if I told I want a messed you
- 11:23guys right he canceled the show in Baltimore on the Friday because they
- 11:27just said he was Ute illness they didn't say what it was so and then everyone was
- 11:33like oh [ __ ] what's going to happen so I was checking on Instagram because in
- 11:36fact I only knew because some of the musicians I follow like some of the
- 11:40people who perform with him and they said oh we've had to cancel the show
- 11:44that's the only reason I knew that it happened so I was checking their
- 11:46Instagrams and stuff and then they were saying oh you see you tonight Boston so
- 11:49I was like okay still happening he had pneumonia oh and he had pneumonia
- 11:54presumably still a bit during this show cuz he was back coffing and stuff like
- 11:58that and he said at the start is I'm sorry I'm not going to be as energetic
- 12:00as usual cuz I've I've had pneumonia and but he still came down I saw him [ __ ]
- 12:05basing it through the the crowd came by got some photos and stuff was good but
- 12:10but that's what I mean like he's just uh yeah he Lo he obviously loves it and he
- 12:15[ __ ] BS up the people he works with too so I give him credit for that I love
- 12:19I love when musicians do that he's like the opposite of because you know these
- 12:23articles about how Hollywood composers are [ __ ] who steal credit yeah I just
- 12:28don't see how people can lump him in those guys after unless unless a
- 12:34reaction to that and now he's trying to like no I doubt it trying to give credit
- 12:40Prett genuine guy anyway love it if you ever get the chance to go [ __ ] just do it it's
- 12:45[ __ ] sick don't think he's going to be coming to Australia anytime soon I think he
- 12:52might he may have before been I see why he wouldn't he goes to
- 12:57Europe that's a little that's fair that's
- 13:04fair um let's see go I can go see candle light H Zimmer's best works on October
- 13:113D the Masonic cite I get I get advertised that every day on Instagram
- 13:16what do you like come and see it by candle Zimmer announces return to
- 13:21Australia this was back in okay he was there in 2017 and he was back again in
- 13:282019 okay keep your eyes open yeah he
- 13:31played at uh Kudos Bank Arena yeah the
- 13:36Arena's Chang name depending on who's the sponsor of the Arena at the time
- 13:40yeah okay I don't know what the [ __ ] I think it used to be called all phones
- 13:44Arena all phones were sponsoring it at the time and then I remember that
- 13:50yeah anyway what are you doing Lov it [ __ ]
- 13:55awesome go see it again I I I would AB absolutely see it again and I and I will
- 14:00if I get the chance it yeah well that'd be cool go
- 14:05see him in prag or somewhere he play St when he does tours I to go to sturg and
- 14:10see [ __ ] Han Zimmer so good it's only a short flight for you
- 14:16Hitler lived in um speaking of musicians and I don't
- 14:22want to linger on this long um but um just for some absolute [ __ ] news can we
- 14:27just talk about the fact that [ __ ] P did is in jail and on suicide watch cuz
- 14:31they think he's going to kill himself because he's been convicted of human trafficking
- 14:37mhm I've heard some of the stories to come out and it's w are coming out and
- 14:41going mate that's just hip-hop culture that's what we do we [ __ ] fly women
- 14:45all over the world and make them do like what I heard the story is like
- 14:50he would have people would host a party and then we get people hiring like Kine
- 14:54and all this stuff and make them have sex in front of him
- 14:59that's just what they do Luke what they do who you Jud you can't call him on it
- 15:04that's their culture they fly poor impoverished women from third world
- 15:08countries they drug them and abuse them that's what they do see see that's just
- 15:14what we do is not a great thing to be saying at the moment yeah this just how
- 15:19we do things problem you want me to not do it is that
- 15:24what you want yeah yeah [ __ ] ridiculous couldn't believe it when I read all
- 15:31that I learned about it from TV trivia team names and then I was like why are
- 15:36we talking about P didy again and then unfortunately I found out now here's the
- 15:40thing I couldn't name you one p didy song I only know him through osmosis of
- 15:44popular culture like I think I know what he looks like
- 15:49but evidently like when think I know what he looks like like when they rested
- 15:52him like in his house there was like drugs just everywhere so I think they
- 15:57also getting on drugs charges right right I mean your house let me put
- 16:02my drugs away and they're like mate this is the least of your worries we don't
- 16:06care about that mate yeah let the women out but I wonder if actually s so watch
- 16:12or they just don't want anything to happen to him let him [ __ ] kill himself if like
- 16:18do the whole world of fa now people want to see him get raped in jail I don't I
- 16:23don't even think I mean everyday people I mean like the judicial system I'll
- 16:27hear about it I just want to hear that it's happened I mean let me know but
- 16:30yeah no I think it's also um without him going to tril off you don't know exactly
- 16:35what's happened you may get more out of it then and there's probably other
- 16:38people involved that you know he's going to turn on and oh yeah he turn in I
- 16:43reckon let's get this [ __ ] out in the open the other week they
- 16:47rushed uh what's his name wiin Harvey Weinstein to hospital for some emergency
- 16:52thing and then just everyone was like yeah don't care about that yeah yeah oh
- 16:57is he sick is he feeling okay it was like like it was news for a bit and then
- 17:01they were realizing no one gives a [ __ ] so he they released him didn't they uh
- 17:07no he's still in prison because he was
- 17:10he was he got a retrial in New York I think he's still convicted of all the of
- 17:16all the other cases okay for someon all I think I think one of them somehow got
- 17:21overturned or one on repeal or something but I there's enough other ones that
- 17:25they could prove that he's I think the judge allowed a witness to talk about
- 17:29something that wasn't part of the what he was charged with and the judge
- 17:34allowed them to give testimony and C I'm thinking of oh oh yeah yeah he's out
- 17:39yeah out and
- 17:42proud yeah yeah why people so
- 17:47terrible know I'm happy that Hollywood's actually starting to call this stuff out
- 17:51though but that's the thing and we don't have to go into it
- 17:54um the Neil gaming thing that we keep coming back to as well everyone's
- 17:59shocked and everyone's like I'm not buying these books anymore okay fair
- 18:01enough you don't want to that's that's absolutely a perfect way to you know
- 18:05vote with your wallet but at the same time I assume any famous person is using
- 18:10their Fame to get sex you know what I mean like I'm just I just assume across
- 18:14the board that any media I'm consuming there's some [ __ ] in there well
- 18:19that have changed on that quite a bit not not not in like a oh I hope they're
- 18:23changing no no but I feel like there there's there's Neil Gaiman is
- 18:29what what he was doing was perfectly acceptable on a in a way that what P
- 18:33didy did was never acceptable you know what I'm saying like there's never a
- 18:37point where everybody would have been like oh yeah that's fine you know yeah
- 18:41keep at it whereas with Neil Gaiman he was a famous person people were having
- 18:45sex with him because he was famous that's how that works yeah and then now
- 18:50it's like well actually you know what no it's not that's that's [ __ ] stupid
- 18:53collectively we' have said that's not okay now yeah yeah and I don't know I I
- 18:57think it was also just that that thought he was one of the ones who wasn't doing
- 19:00it I think is is part of that too like for example if I found out tiger YT was
- 19:06abusing women I'd be shocked you know what I mean because to me he just seems
- 19:10like one of the ones who just wouldn't get carried away he just doesn't seem
- 19:14but then yeah yeah well what what we talking about let's get it out the way
- 19:19Manda Palmer's finally spoken out about it oh has she no yeah and and I tried to
- 19:25find that um post and I think she's deleted it or I just maybe I just can't
- 19:30find it but yeah she she retweeted a t-shirt it wasn't her own design but she
- 19:36found somebody who had designed a t-shirt that said I'm just a girl
- 19:40standing in front of a leftist boy asking him to apply his politics to the
- 19:44actual women in his life and just said I'm just going to leave this here it
- 19:48certainly does seem to be a comment yeah yeah yeah
- 19:54does all right well yeah but I mean that's vague enough that she could just
- 19:58be respon she's like oh yeah I've just heard that podcast that's not good is it
- 20:02it's not necessarily her there's more to it as well is with
- 20:07everything being cancelled with all these projects and stuff there must be
- 20:11other stuff happening in the background can't just that I think it's just
- 20:15they're worried about abely they're worried about public reaction if they
- 20:18don't I think it's that theyy if if you did one thing to piss
- 20:23Disney off you're gone forever right so I understand why the isn't no good Omens
- 20:29is primee talk about yeah think yeah it is actually yeah I know that is yeah so
- 20:36yeah like it's not worth the risk like
- 20:40yeah yeah if the reaction is bad like uh
- 20:45[ __ ] uh there been a really negative reaction I saw this week to the
- 20:49Australian office remake have you seen this I've seen very polarized reactions
- 20:55I've seen to the point where now it's almost like what do you do about it you
- 20:58just no I've seen stuff saying that it's it's good as well like I've seen tons of
- 21:03good good like people are [ __ ] excited about it I've SE people having
- 21:08like to to like the the Melbourne cup is like a great way of introducing and
- 21:14stuff like this I've SE both sides so yeah the only that's the the funny thing
- 21:19about it though is that the people that really hated like do not remake the
- 21:23office it's a classic it's like mate the office you love is a [ __ ]
- 21:28I just realized maybe it's because the media Outlets I'm seeing are American
- 21:32and they're like going this is in Australia there's a there's a couple of
- 21:36loud voices saying oh it's too woke you've swapped the genders but actually
- 21:39I think that's a good idea I think I think if you same it would be compared
- 21:46to Apples and apples whereas now you can you can change it up all you want no
- 21:51it's getting some some good Buzz here we were talking I was never American office
- 21:55fan anyway so I don't give a [ __ ] no it got better but it was yeah the British
- 21:59one was King obviously we were talking the other day about I was asking cuz I
- 22:03had never thought of this I asked a bunch of people this is it trivia like
- 22:07have you ever heard of Young Einstein
- 22:11and largely they had not not and uh and it was just so funny to me because that
- 22:16movie was so big when I was a kid like we went on a school Excursion to see it
- 22:22to the movies [ __ ] Cody's cordial had a ticket hidden under every third lid or
- 22:28something yeah it was such a big film and then Americans are just like who the
- 22:32[ __ ] is Yahoo serus the first cassette tape I ever owned was the
- 22:38the soundtrack to Young Einstein yeah right it be pretty easy to explain Yahoo
- 22:43series to them it's just carop Australian carp became the most
- 22:48famous actor in the world once for like for one year yeah yeah just a little
- 22:55bit he's [ __ ] ripped now though he's a he's a surfer he lives on the beach I
- 23:00know he went broke and had to sell his mansion and everything Yahoo no Carrot
- 23:04Tops no Yahoo oh they both got ripped then oh carp ripped as
- 23:09wellp weird looking now though yeah oh he's had he had a lot of work yeah all
- 23:14right F he yeah in in that kind of too much plastic I know carrot talk because
- 23:19of other people making fun of him I've never seen an actual Carrot Top presents
- 23:25whatever he does whatever prop comedy doesn't he yes is that what he does yeah yeah it has
- 23:32big things on stage and just he's a funny thing cuz it's
- 23:38big all right classic um I've got a little bit of
- 23:44followup we talked about movie pass the other week yes and I had been joking
- 23:49about how I it was seemed fairly obvious that it was
- 23:53unsustainable but at the end of the day they gave me a credit card to buy movie
- 23:57tickets I'm going to use it and then it's their problem turns out the the ex
- 24:02CEO also knew this was unsustainable and uh and has pled guilty to
- 24:07fraud fraud for he said yes we we intentionally misled customers and
- 24:13investors it was obviously this was unsustainable but back up see this is
- 24:18the thing and we've argued this before and Luke and I I think we had a
- 24:21conversation once about like how do you even get rich off of a Ponzi scheme
- 24:26because like you know the bottom fall out he just wanted to watch movies for
- 24:30free I guess I don't know I just don't understand how this
- 24:35fraud benefited even the fraud I think
- 24:39like it has caused some disruption in that now I can get a subscription at Showcase
- 24:46Cinemas which is the C like theaters the big theater chain near me I can get a
- 24:50subscription and it's it's not too bad like in a way that I couldn't before
- 24:55Movie Pass did the door for okay it forced people
- 25:02to being competitive I mean I'm sure he's probably going to say that's what
- 25:05he was trying to do so you're saying he just did it to save Cinema maybe cuz like it was
- 25:12was cly theit of the doubt is it yeah the cost of a subscription was less than
- 25:17the cost of a movie it was $10 a month I paid and I I was able I could literally
- 25:22could have gone and seen they said uh well actually we're talking
- 25:29about this the other week on Tuesdays I found out now it's about five bucks
- 25:33which is quite good that's 90s prices 0 Tuesday prices I mean I saw
- 25:38Oppenheimer for free because I had leftover loyalty points from when I was
- 25:43going with movie passs in my showcase account and it was a Tuesday and I I was
- 25:50like I'm going to go see Oppenheimer you know lur in bed whatever I was like all
- 25:53right great get on my phone go to buy the ticket and it was like all right
- 25:55total is zero with popcorn and I was like [ __ ] yes amazing um tell about the
- 26:01weird free thing I got in Freedom Furniture that one time no so ha wanted this really
- 26:07specific laundry hamper it's it's very nice it's Wier right she sends me off to
- 26:12get it so I I find it I go up to the cter it's $120 right for this yeah does
- 26:18it do the laundry it just just holds the laundry yeah and uh and they said it's 20% off
- 26:25today I said oh great she go so that's down to 100 bucks I'm like awesome
- 26:28then uh oh whatever it was I knew you going to call me on that whatever
- 26:32percent off it was and then uh and then she goes
- 26:37oh she because when you she goes oh what's your phone number you put it
- 26:41in you got some vouchers I said no I don't think so she said yeah didn't you
- 26:45buy something you bought a couch or something here within the last 5 years
- 26:48I'm like yeah I think maybe I bought a couch she's like oh was it like $1,000
- 26:52I'm like sounds about right and they're like okay well you got two $50 vouchers
- 26:56one for each $500 you spent so this is for you and I was like okay and then I
- 27:02just stood there and they're like have a nice day and I'm
- 27:05like so I just leave with this like it's literally just free like yeah it's yours
- 27:11doesn't sound right it doesn't seem
- 27:16right yeah and it didn't really work for them cuz the whole idea is when they
- 27:19give you the vouchers they want you to come back and spend more money whereas
- 27:22this you forgot about it they didn't tell me I had them no but the employees
- 27:26don't get paid enough to care about that I issue no
- 27:28yeah yeah they also didn't tell me that the pieces of my modular Lounge clipped
- 27:33together cuz I went in one day and I said like they going all skei all over
- 27:36my land room is there something I can buy to like bolt to the bottom and
- 27:39they're like should be something on the bottom I'm like didn't even think they
- 27:44look same thing though they said oh the guy who dripped it off at your house
- 27:47should have told you I'm like he didn't yeah I think they assembled us and then
- 27:52did not give a [ __ ] noticed it yeah uh I think under normal
- 27:56circumstances a movie is about 15 20 mon if you saw one movie a month you'd
- 28:03already got a discount yes and what they said was you're allowed to see one movie
- 28:07every day one a day which is still quite a lot for $10 a month but there's not
- 28:12movies it was just a credit card that they sent you and and they get the bill
- 28:17so people quickly discovered you can do whatever the [ __ ] you
- 28:21want you can pay for popcorn and [ __ ] with it which you're not supposed to do
- 28:25right cuz the cinemas didn't care they were like yeah we're just we're sending
- 28:28the bill to to moveie pass so this is what I mean how did they think they were
- 28:34going to make any money they didn't apparently fair enough they didn't yeah
- 28:38but even if it was a scam how did they think they were going to scam money I
- 28:42don't know maybe they were hoping the stock price would go up and a normal
- 28:45subscription thing I'm not good at this stuff like this would have made sense
- 28:50that maybe $25 or $30 a month where people go in their head like pay for
- 28:54this I go to movie twice I get my money back and then any
- 28:58making you go more than you already would to make it worth it yes okay
- 29:03showcase subscribe and then not letting you charge popcorn and stuff so that the
- 29:07cinema still make that money yes in addition to that as well all right so
- 29:13for 10 bucks a month $950 a month I can
- 29:17see one 2D movie a month for $1.95 I can
- 29:22see it in [ __ ] IMAX if I want to see five movies a month it costs me 20
- 29:28$66.95 that's still quite good if I'm going to see that many movies that's
- 29:32excellent hello my swe that many
- 29:36movies hi hi he's your star hello
- 29:43Harper this is Harper's Weekly segment M what you been doing watch what show are

- 30:25everyone oh yeah they can't see Charlie
- 30:28bye Harper we condition that's who it
- 30:33was PD's gotten in
- 30:41again too soon too soon he's still alive too that's what was wrong with that joke
- 30:47yeah yeah and just to clarify I'm I'm not sure he was into kids I'm I think they
- 30:53were perfectly AED women I think yeah he was he was Lally kidnapping them
- 31:00and flying them across the world to be [ __ ] oh just to be even more clear I
- 31:05wasn't actually accusing him of doing anything no no no I think your
- 31:10accusation stands it's you don't think he's actually in the rooming hope he's
- 31:14not I hope he's not too I hope you're not harboring P didy that's what I hope
- 31:21um we do have some other followup that
- 31:23relates to somebody being a [ __ ] uh
- 31:28but this is ironic it's iron [ __ ]
- 31:32news so
- 31:35convicted woman Basher Jonathan Maes is now having chosen his first public
- 31:41appearance to be at the famous monster
- 31:46Expo I'm assuming it's because he plays [ __ ] is it K that he
- 31:52plays but also it's because he's a [ __ ] monster
- 31:58I bet you he's not allowed to say he's
- 32:00played King now maybe not yeah I re but
- 32:06H this was the person who was going to be the next um Martin Luther
- 32:10King Jonathan M time Martin Luther King bashed ever his first ever convention
- 32:16signing appearance at [ __ ] famous monsters going to be doing any movies
- 32:21that's funny this is his income now $140
- 32:26us to have him sign an autograph they can be expensive I
- 32:32wouldn't have paid that for Jonathan Maes even when oie done was Lovecraft
- 32:38country and I thought he was great bashed anyone except shog
- 32:44offs yeah no yeah no autographs can be quite
- 32:50expensive at these things oh here's something that's quite sad There are
- 32:53some comments on cuz he made a post about hey I'm going to be here and of
- 32:57the comments is bro it sucks what happened to this guy it seems like a
- 33:01genuinely good guy who got himself in a bad position because of someone
- 33:04else what she kept headbutting my fist
- 33:09yeah and then she reported it it's
- 33:14in there are people who also say show his face in America you know Harvey
- 33:18Weinstein you know he didn't force him didn't he they wanted they wanted the
- 33:25job I've literally seen people say that M she got what she
- 33:31wanted just saying just saying I'm not just
- 33:38saying someone else yeah I know I don't
- 33:41want to be to um to Sam Harris's latest episode about
- 33:48um uh was it Sam har yeah it was Sam Harris when he was just talking about
- 33:52this second Trump shooting sure oh yeah someone shot at Trump again yeah um no
- 33:57didn't he didn't that far it didn't get that far they they saw the gun poking
- 34:02out and they got it oh it no no no I heard that there were four shots fired
- 34:06[ __ ] news is crazy no oh okay news Secret Service shot at the guy oh he
- 34:13didn't shoot anything I never read the articles I saw there were shot and he
- 34:16was a nut bag he's been on the new they've interviewed him before because
- 34:19he went to Ukraine and he was fighting the wall there yeah he was came he was
- 34:24going to he had this plan that he was going to fly a bunch of [ __ ] [ __ ]
- 34:28um Afghanistan afgh [ __ ] soldiers Freedom Fighters to Ukraine to beat
- 34:34Russia and he's he's enough case [ __ ] enough case at least he's on the right
- 34:38side are we going to talk about the fact that all these YouTubers have been paid
- 34:42millions of dollars by the Russians God yeah what that's [ __ ] up too oh you
- 34:47didn't hear about that no they're saying they were duped yeah they were con to I
- 34:52think at least come on at least one of them had to know what was going on but
- 34:56yeah who what so apparently allegedly the the the uh
- 35:01they've been indicted by the justice department I think um two Russian
- 35:08operatives working for uh Russia times what's that new Russia Today Russia
- 35:13Today this The State newspaper in State News Network prop propaganda machine
- 35:19yeah yeah so they they they've come to America they've started a media company
- 35:24called tenant media and they've hired a bunch of YouTubers like Dave Rubin
- 35:30Timol uh Lauren Southern uh some other guys so right
- 35:35leaning yes guys anyway and they've paid them a lot of money to make videosu got
- 35:42$5 million for four videos yeah and they're not
- 35:48explicitly like some of them
- 35:51are to be Yeah Tim Paul stuff some of it
- 35:56literally saying America needs to publicly apologize to Russia yeah yeah
- 36:00yeah and when he said oh I had no idea it's like you had no idea but you said
- 36:04that of your own those were your own comments the opinion you came up with on
- 36:09your own so so so if you were just saying that what were they paying you
- 36:12for exactly exct that's yeah that's yeah Dave Rubin in particular come out and
- 36:16said hey look we got scammed yeah yeah how did you get
- 36:22scammed they paid me money they literally said he said I W to
- 36:28like who's who's paying me what are they getting out of it and they literally
- 36:32apparently put a put a fake person on a Skype call with him and said yeah I'm
- 36:35just funding some media I live in France and it's in the document from the the DJ
- 36:39it's it's there's a there's a resume and this pamphlet they made about this fake
- 36:43investor some European guy and it's got a photo of I guess an actor because if
- 36:47you Google this person nothing comes up evidently they just invented this fake
- 36:51person still doesn't make sense it doesn't matter that that person was fake
- 36:55you still what saying is got opening right if you find
- 36:59out that Russia wanted you they wanted to pay you a lot of money to make your
- 37:04content you like well I wasn't saying anything I don't already think I know
- 37:08exactly that's what I mean yeah have a think about that then
- 37:13yeah because actually it was quite anti-American in in a way as well
- 37:20because it was like you know our country is kind of split down the middle
- 37:24government doesn't know how to keep itself together you know that kind of
- 37:28thing Paul's one was was was very direct we should be supporting Russia against
- 37:35Ukraine but the others were just like America's [ __ ] type stuff no I have to
- 37:40disagree with you there it was very American they did it for
- 37:44money yeah yeah yeah while we're doing polit well I
- 37:49guess it's sort of political can we talk about this [ __ ] pager [ __ ] oh with [ __ ]
- 37:56Israel and where somehow they managed to get explos pages and then just set them off like
- 38:03thousands of pages so years ago right so
- 38:07at some point Pages were a thing no no no no Hezbollah go they get they called
- 38:13a big meeting or whatever and they go Israel can tap our [ __ ] mobile phones
- 38:17we're not using them anymore we're getting pages and and two-way radios yep
- 38:20okay Israel finds out about this there's a Taiwanese company that was contracted
- 38:25by Hezbollah to make the stuff Israel forms allegedly right I'm not
- 38:30[ __ ] expert alleged don't know how Israel forms two Hungarian shell
- 38:36corporations bids to manufacture the devices wins builds them all with
- 38:42[ __ ] bombs in them bombs in them in 2022 mhm and then just wait for two
- 38:48years they've been walking around with these devices right Pages phones and
- 38:52then they knew that eventually ultimately they want and then last week
- 38:55they sent the the the code that made him
- 38:58go off killed what 20 30 people and injured injured thousands that's amazing
- 39:05what also amazing is that this hasn't come up on my news feed really yeah well
- 39:09in the same way it's amazing that the [ __ ] Tim Paul stuff didn't come up on
- 39:13your news feed news is [ __ ] now it's like proper spy [ __ ] I was about to say
- 39:18that is cold fasinating [ __ ] yeah yeah digress for a sake I've been
- 39:24watching a TV show this week that I can't recommend highly enough it's slow
- 39:28horses um oh yeah Apple TV Gary Oldman Gary Oldman yeah it's basically it's set
- 39:35present day it's set MI5 so that's the uh domestic intelligence as opposed to
- 39:41MI6 which is foreign intelligence right got so um Gathering intelligence
- 39:46domestically but it's specifically about this one branch where they put all the
- 39:50people who were [ __ ] up um and then just give them shitty assignments so
- 39:55that they just stay out of it um um but of course they always stumbled upon some
- 39:59big conspiracy and and blow it wide open
- 40:03and uh I've always liked uh watching Gary Oldman because he's just super cool
- 40:08but in this he's the the ultimate uncool he's overweight and he's disgusting and
- 40:14he's a prick but he does it so well and the show is just so good it's like the
- 40:18anti James Bond it's like people who just being a spy is their desk job you
- 40:23know and like what they do on the weekend is more important to them and
- 40:27and what they you know just filing and [ __ ] is is most of their day-to-day
- 40:31stuff and occasionally like you know there'll actually be a dime where he's
- 40:34like please send me I haven't chased anyone in ages you know probably more
- 40:38than what it's really like yeah so good there's four seasons the fourth Seasons
- 40:42airing I think sporadically [ __ ] hell all right but there're only six episodes
- 40:46a season because it's British right so right I watched first two seasons this
- 40:50week it's very good I've seen it 24 episodes in total
- 40:5621 H I watched um season four of the Umbrella Academy did we talk about that
- 41:03no I haven't seen that yet I couldn't get pass the start first episode of that
- 41:07was weird I still love it I love that show it's really good it was not the
- 41:12strongest season and there was some stuff in there different yeah and
- 41:15there's some stuff that I was like uh whatever and uh and it's short it's a
- 41:21short season which I guess they just weren't given the budget presumably to
- 41:25do more uh but I I liked it I like those characters I like the show okay worth
- 41:29watching if you're a fan I I I like that each cuz I I went back and watched the
- 41:34first season I think after the third season and I was like [ __ ] I forgot
- 41:37about all of this stuff it's a completely different show like you know
- 41:40in the second season with JFK and all of that in it and then the
- 41:45third season just all set in that hotel like y every season's been very
- 41:49different but I I'm on it yeah I I got to watch this yeah this season they get
- 41:55um like new powers and stuff cuz something that happens and so it kind of
- 41:58mixes things up a bit and it's I yeah it was good but did you ever watch that
- 42:02British TV show where the yeah Misfits I've heard of it a million times I know
- 42:08it's got class from yes it does but it's the story is it's these [ __ ]
- 42:13delinquents on what do they call it when you they send convicted child criminals
- 42:18out to just do cleanup Duty on the weekends and whatever public service or
- 42:22community service whatever and they all get they get struck by lightning they
- 42:25get super powers right it's [ __ ] great it's great Four Seasons first two
- 42:31seasons are very very good then they have a bit of a cast rotation and it
- 42:36kind of changes up a bit it's not as good but still still worth watching
- 42:43okay right it's so good I've got one more piece of followup that I do want to talk
- 42:49about because I'm very confused by it can you please explain to
- 42:53me what this is why trailer did you watch the trailer did not watch the
- 42:57trailer I didn't realize it was a trailer so ancient can't even talk
- 43:03ancient apocalypse which I actually thought
- 43:07was canel oh really yeah I I thought I thought it wasn't I thought it was quite
- 43:13a lot of clearly it did I was say I don't know how much Bank Netflix makes
- 43:17based on stuff but it got a lot of well I've I've heard Netflix doesn't still
- 43:20hasn't figured out how to make money on um but uh season two back turns out
- 43:27if your kid is the head of programming it's pretty easy to get another season
- 43:31going well even then I don't know um but
- 43:36uh there's a guest star this season I'm so confused by this
- 43:42so famous renowned archaeologist Keanu
- 43:46Reeves is in season actual archaeologists won't be on this show
- 43:52that's true that's true cuz the ones that got tricked into being in the first
- 43:56season yeah definitely not going to be in the second seene I've watched an
- 43:59actual archaeologist debate uh gra Hancock on Joe Rogan and that was
- 44:04fantastic Flint dble Flint dible is is
- 44:07great and it really bums me out he is odd but I thought it went really well
- 44:13and was kind of quite uh despite gra
- 44:16mok's efforts to make it more kind of dramatic it wasn't very dramatic it was
- 44:22very good and interesting but then afterwards gra Hancock's sharing stuff
- 44:27about how Flint dibble's a con artist and stuff and it's just gone it's gone
- 44:30all weird on him again it's just like why are you doing this yeah it was a
- 44:34great debate actually I thought it was quite good and the only thing that
- 44:36annoyed me was was Joe Rogan really I was like stay out of it let these two
- 44:42talk you don't know anything um because because he'd say say
- 44:46something oh with the age of the Earth blah blah blah and Joe ran would be like
- 44:50do we know what the age of the Earth is I'm like don't Stoke this fire stay out
- 44:53of it mate here's the thing cuz I look I I went through a phase when I was about
- 44:5820 where I read everything that graem hanok wrote and Von danan and all of
- 45:04those guys because I thought I found and I still to to this day find fascinating
- 45:09that that that there are mysteries from the ancient past right sure but the
- 45:14thing is every archaeologist will tell you yes there's Mysteries yes we find
- 45:19new things all the time and we always move the goalpost when we find new
- 45:22things we're not saying there couldn't possibly be stuff we we know there stuff
- 45:27we haven't found and we used to think humans were only 50,000 years old then
- 45:31we thought 100,000 now we think a million like we find a new fossil and we
- 45:35change it Graeme Hancock if he keeps looking he might very well find
- 45:41something he's not going to find Atlantis but he might find something and
- 45:44he's going to be all [ __ ] told you so and they're going to be like right we
- 45:46didn't say you were wrong we just said you've come up you've made up your mind
- 45:51before you found the things we dig and then find something and then analyze it
- 45:56that's Arch you have come up with a theory and now you're going to try to
- 46:00find proof of it and he constantly walks things back too like he's this whole
- 46:04thing about them having magic powers and stuff he's like I never said that you
- 46:07[ __ ] did say that B books about
- 46:12it he never mentions aliens anymore either and and he did yeah and it's just
- 46:18now he just says no no no very smart white people yeah that's right thousands
- 46:22of years ago not these Savages yeah taught the Mayans how to build yeah it's
- 46:27like that map right there's the map that he shows where it's got like South
- 46:30America comes down yeah and it it comes around this way he's oh that's
- 46:33Antarctica and it's like is it Antarctica or is it it could be
- 46:36Australia they ran out of paper so they kept drawing the coastline this way and
- 46:40then they wrote on it here's where the [ __ ] snakes are right you think
- 46:44that's Antarctica or do you think that's South America where the snakes how could
- 46:47they could they possibly have known about it yeah mate if you look it but
- 46:51even little things like um you know when it's like oh the the pyramids line up to
- 46:55the Stars sure they do if you ignore some pyramids and most of the Stars
- 47:01right it's just it's just Fuzzy Math yeah okay so do we know why Keanu Reeves
- 47:07is in this I really tried to find out too I mean the article says he's in it
- 47:11to boost numbers sure I don't get why he would agree to
- 47:17it and something ruse explains to Han in a brief Tut trailer how he's always felt
- 47:21the timeline was off which I'm must have Theory or something yeah I don't know I
- 47:27almost don't want to know right yeah cuz yeah K is not someone I thought would be
- 47:34entertaining this sort of yeah
- 47:38yeah but is out of context MH it seems
- 47:43like he's talking about the big picture where he might ask keano about one very
- 47:48specific temple in China where Keanu visited once you know what I mean like
- 47:54we don't know yeah look I love K Reeves but I was obviously being factious when
- 47:59I said he was a ren archaeologist I'm not convinced he knows anything there's
- 48:04no reason for me to think that he does so he could just be a fan of gram H
- 48:08because the show is very compelling super compelling it's beautifully made
- 48:13yeah stunning photography and I had I not so I I the way I watched ancient
- 48:19apocalypse I I talked about this at the time is I watched it because I had a
- 48:22companion YouTube series that I was interested in about the actual
- 48:27kind of his TR facts and whatever and so so I had the benefit of watching the
- 48:32show watching an episode of the show then watching a YouTube video that was
- 48:35explained to me why the show was hor [ __ ] and then but like you didn't have
- 48:40that it is compelling cuz I watch the episode and I go oh what about this what
- 48:42about this and then the YouTube video would explain it and I go oh okay which
- 48:46is I I think it would be better if he just dialed down the archaeologist don't
- 48:51want me to tell you this like mate they don't want you to tell you this because
- 48:54you're undermining their [ __ ] no one actually like you're not saying anything factual
- 48:59enough to even have them argue against you yes they don't get paid enough to
- 49:03give a [ __ ] about this other than the fact that you're just full of nonsense
- 49:07here's the thing I think these these kind of things are quite
- 49:10dangerous cuz they are compelling and then people instantly believe this cuz I
- 49:16saw this and then it starts to undermine other things as
- 49:21well I believed everything I've read in these books I was like [ __ ]
- 49:24mainstream archaeology all wrong and I've seen Milo Rossy the Milo Minute Man
- 49:30on YouTube he's like a he's a young kind of archaeologist who does really good
- 49:34YouTube content and he was talking about how turn your Xbox off downloading
- 49:40telling me it's turning off he's gotten called out cuz he said before that he
- 49:44thinks it's all very racist and people said oh gr Han's not racist and he's
- 49:49like well look the stuff that he's referencing is racist like there is
- 49:54there are works that he quotes and he refer that are literally just white
- 49:58supremacist texts so if he's not do he just not know that how does he not know
- 50:05that like you know prove me wrong basically I mean even just it's
- 50:09problematic even just saying I think Europeans might have built all the stuff
- 50:12in South America and Africa Asia problematic even if it's not racist per
- 50:18se it's problematic Sur they couldn't have built this stuff Sam Harris they [ __ ] there
- 50:24it's there we know they did it's [ __ ] proof it's [ __ ] right
- 50:29there they did build it they did build it yeah they absolutely did um mate
- 50:34watching my daughter build with she's got these magnetic blocks she builds
- 50:37structures that I'm like how did you know that that inverted shape went there
- 50:40to reinforce the like she just figures it out you know what I mean like I
- 50:44believe that smart people you know they had the same brains as us they just what
- 50:49happened long thousands of years to figure things out that and it's not like
- 50:54we found like pyramids fully formed there's pyramids that just go like this
- 50:59first there's pyramid that goes like this and then like this you know like
- 51:02there's shitty pyramids as well like people yeah people forget in Egypt in
- 51:06particular there are thousands of thousands of py they w't built at the
- 51:09same time no they were literally built the oldest ones thousands of years apart
- 51:14and it's like oh why is this pyramid so different because it was built four
- 51:16[ __ ] thousand years later yeah yeah longer ago to that pyramid than this
- 51:22pyramid is to us yes and the pyramids you see aren't actually what they look
- 51:27like when they were built no that's true the great parents actually have were
- 51:31smooth but they step because they stole all the sh of them to build the wall
- 51:37allegedly obsidian yeah on the top or something right oh yeah or whatever yeah
- 51:43different different ones well we don't know right because it's just from texts
- 51:46that are [ __ ] who knows what the we can barely read anyway but just quickly
- 51:51it's still relevant to scale back to Sam Harris was talking about how you can
- 51:55only take for Grant certain things if you're not kind of opening the
- 52:02Pandora's Box in other words you can assume someone thinks Hitler is bad and
- 52:05the Holocaust happened and it was bad in normal conversation but if you start
- 52:10saying that Hitler was actually quite a good artist you are then it is your
- 52:14responsibility to follow that up with not that I condone his due killing you
- 52:18know like and it's it's that same thing too it's it's I can't remember why we
- 52:22were talking about before but it's relevant here with hanock as well it's
- 52:25like if you're going to make these big statements about how everything was
- 52:28built by white people if you're not a racist you then have to back that up it
- 52:33is on you now to back that up about why why that's not a racist if you're going
- 52:37to use a quote from a text that the Nazis also used as evidence of things
- 52:43you do need to kind of do a bit more explaining as to why don't leave it at
- 52:49that don't just quote the part that you like and then not explain why else was
- 52:54looking for Atlantis yeah yeah yeah it's not a joke that was
- 53:00the plan postwar was to go find it yeah yeah
- 53:05yeah all right anyway Dan I have a question for you are you excited for
- 53:11packs I am excited got my tiet right here right here in front of
- 53:16me cuz it's we've only got like three weeks yeah it's very
- 53:20soon start I'm looking for I'm looking forward to bucker shock I'm looking
- 53:25forward to Quail on stick mhm and I'm looking forward to packs these are all
- 53:29games that are coming out of packs are they playing ball games I'm looking
- 53:32forward to I'm going to go to the gaming went old panel again that's a fun one to
- 53:36go to because they talk about you go there meet people who probably will talk
- 53:40about Amigas and commodor and yeah right yeah awesome there's also another one
- 53:45gaming with disability which I'm looking forward to too but no it's getting close
- 53:48and I'm getting excited hi my
- 53:51wheelchair oh excellent it's a lot of walking are you cosplaying this year I
- 53:58you I'll probably just I'll probably just throw my babyon 5 outfit one day
- 54:02yeah yeah maybe a princess layer we'll see you have to walk around with me I'm
- 54:09jealous I wish I was going yeah I wish East obviously but next year
- 54:16but you guys I have tickets to that as well actually when's that
- 54:22one I can't remember go up I should go up for
- 54:28that make a day of it or two
- 54:33days but yeah should yeah it's a long way to go for one day oh yeah but the
- 54:38comicons here are not yeah yeah no well I don't mean go up to the Comic Con for
- 54:43two days I mean yeah go up to see you for two days and go to Singapore ComiCon
- 54:48every year and I think the longest I spent was an hour and a half and I was
- 54:52like I have seen and done everything here but the thing you need to with when
- 54:56get a pack it's the panels is you need to go to see more panels and yeah that's
- 55:02where yeah yeah yeah you get out of it what you put in really yeah if you just
- 55:06want to look around the yeah yeah you just want to look on the floor you can
- 55:09do that in a day do a lap and yeah then you're like oh what is that no no you
- 55:12got to pace yourself you got to watch things y yeah so I think they've got the
- 55:17the app out now so have a look at the m and or Jerry coming or do they just not
- 55:21do Jerry probably Mike doesn't anymore yeah so he'll do
- 55:27like the Seattle one packs West they call it now yeah but I don't think he
- 55:31does he doesn't he doesn't like to travel especially to Australia I think
- 55:34so yeah it's a long way for but Jerry usually goes yeah yeah I don't know why
- 55:40I'm glad we went when they were both still attending yeah yeah Mike doesn't
- 55:46even come to East anymore last time I saw him he was on a robot he was a robot
- 55:52there was a robot mic at oh that's right yeah yeah because he wasn't going to
- 55:56come anymore so yeah speak I I still did say hi to both of them he was just yeah
- 56:03on a TV screen yeah um I saw this and there's not much of a story here except
- 56:08that just um scientists put robot legs on a mushroom and it learned to
- 56:13walk there's got to be more to it than that hasn't there there's more they they
- 56:18taught it to walk it didn't just go finally but stop eating
- 56:25us [ __ ] off but they have something of a
- 56:29brain right and so mushrooms do yeah and so scientists reckon that this is the
- 56:35first step into some kind of
- 56:39biomechanics I didn't mean that some kind of like biomechanics using brains
- 56:45from plants that have brains of of some kind of or another sort of scary cuz
- 56:51mushrooms grow very quickly looks already looking at the big
- 56:57picture consequences of this of how quickly they could outnumber us my
- 57:01celium is able to produce natural electrical signals which responds to
- 57:06huh but I'm looking at the size of his legs that put on it's
- 57:10huge God something else I'm not going to be able to eat now yeah yeah but once
- 57:16they finally teach it to talk and it's like please stop yeah all right just the
- 57:21fish then yeah just eat them until they they're like I could put legs on a like
- 57:26please don't I need some kind of
- 57:32protein you these fungal brains respond to navigate more unpredictable
- 57:37environments navigate unpredictable environments what is this where are
- 57:42mushrooms traveling that are unpredictable unpredictable they've
- 57:48never had legs before we'll find out where they want to go we will find out
- 57:53yeah it's like that robot m cop that they made and it became sentient
- 57:57realized in the fountain and then killed itself not just
- 58:03once with a killed itself
- 58:09again yeah [ __ ] well maybe we don't to worry yeah I
- 58:15know right this this quote this uh comment on
- 58:21the article the labor party have been doing this for years except they use
- 58:24cabbages instead of mushrooms what does that even mean I think it
- 58:30means they they people who vote for the labor party
- 58:35right who' have thought clever mushrooms not long before they put them in
- 58:38metropolitan police uniforms everyone [ __ ] personal act grind that
- 58:45they are trying to just wedge into
- 58:50here no that's good yeah I'm interested in that hey uh this is a funny one I saw
- 58:55this week Cards Against Humanity are suing SpaceX yes because and this is
- 59:01actually legitimate yeah I read into this too I was like I didn't know this back in
- 59:072017 they did a a crowdfunding campaign Cards Against Humanity to buy a plot of
- 59:12land on the southern border to make it difficult for Donald Trump to build the
- 59:16wall between America and Mexico right and they took $15 donations raised the
- 59:22money bought the plot of land and then it's just been sat there then they were thinking
- 59:26well that's that's that then right yep
- 59:30yeah but apparently SpaceX has just dumped a bunch of [ __ ] on there and been
- 59:35using it for like construction or something and uh so now they're suing
- 59:41them saying you didn't ask permission to use our land and SpaceX replied and said
- 59:46do you want to sell it and they said no we'll do this instead so partially for
- 59:51entertainment value so they're suing them and they've said that if they win
- 59:57everybody who donated $15 gets their money back will get
- 1:00:01$100 from the that's
- 1:00:05awesome yeah yeah except what if he what if Elon then send sells it back to Trump
- 1:00:11and he builds the war well well they're not selling it to them yeah right they
- 1:00:14they'll have to get off it because they they've got photos in here too this is
- 1:00:17what it looked like when they bought it and then now they've gone down there and
- 1:00:20this is what it looks like now and come down there and [ __ ] SpaceX is there
- 1:00:24they've just done all this [ __ ] I heard all about this wall and I'd
- 1:00:28never been to Mexico and then I went to Mexico in 2018 just a there is a wall
- 1:00:32and there is a wall know yeah and I said to my friends who were down there I was
- 1:00:36like oh so there is a wall and they're like yeah but we put that up I was like
- 1:00:40oh okay they're like we don't want Americans just wandering in here every
- 1:00:45day cheap stuff and go back I understand what they did and the
- 1:00:50whole idea behind it but if the government wants the land I'll just take the
- 1:00:54land oh yeah of course it's not the government yeah this yeah I see what
- 1:00:58you're saying right right no no you're saying the yeah but it was a a gesture
- 1:01:03right yeah yeah but yeah I just I just like the goal of Space X just go this is
- 1:01:10bits empty we just start building [ __ ] on it I know but that's so musk isn't it
- 1:01:15and then when they sue him he's like I'll just buy buy yeah how much you want
- 1:01:19for it yeah you you you caught us I can't dislike him no matter no
- 1:01:25matter what he does does he's so no no no I I don't like him but what I'm
- 1:01:30saying is he's just so entertaining and he's just so unashamedly himself that I
- 1:01:36couldn't make it through his book oh not his book but the what's his name I
- 1:01:39couldn't make his conversation with Dan Carlin I just keep getting I haven't
- 1:01:44heard that they had a conversation yeah there's an addendum episode where Dan
- 1:01:48Carlin has Elon on just to talk about World War II planes huh no I just keep
- 1:01:54only thing I really see from musk is I keep getting things on X or Twitter or
- 1:01:58whatever it is where he's posting stuff and it's just stuff he's posting isn't
- 1:02:04helpful no to the world no oh no no yeah
- 1:02:10yeah yeah he's reposting stuff that's adding fuel to fire yeah I don't know
- 1:02:14what's going on there there's there's conspiracy conspiracy theory but the the
- 1:02:19there's I've heard accusations that when he bought Twitter he needed
- 1:02:26the money and he got the money from various places including people from
- 1:02:32countries other than America and now he's
- 1:02:36somewhat indebted you know correct
- 1:02:39indebted to various overseas entities not necessar I'm not necessarily saying
- 1:02:45like Russia or whatever but I think you know like the Saudis and and various
- 1:02:48places he's because he's been seen with them at events and stuff since then so
- 1:02:52it's kind of like again not saying I know I don't know anything about it but
- 1:02:56I've heard people say that's a bit but yeah I do like you do see photos where
- 1:02:59he's invents in other countries at the Times where he's telling people they
- 1:03:02need to sleep in the office to do work and then he just get off over here for a
- 1:03:06game and go see this and yeah I sacked all the women because we we all know
- 1:03:10that women have other priorities out of the work yeah that's right yeah I wonder
- 1:03:15where that sentiment came from [ __ ] hell so anyway yeah you see um James
- 1:03:20May's um review of the Cyber truck I did I did I enjoyed that that was very enjoy
- 1:03:26see that basically I love because he he said at the end he said the only reason
- 1:03:31I've agreed to do this is because I can turn it into an ad for my gin and what
- 1:03:34we've decided to do is just see where I can put the Gin on the Cyber truck
- 1:03:38before and it won't slide off but it was interesting that when had his ruler out
- 1:03:43and he was like he's like the reason cars have curves is so is because you
- 1:03:48can't make them perfectly so he's like this is supposed to be curvy but like
- 1:03:52let's zoom in there's a corner here and then the next corner is like
- 1:03:56SK is so obvious and I mean that was a criticism all Teslas have anyway of
- 1:04:01their build quality not being completely aligned think everyone's starting the
- 1:04:06golf Teslas I think and I think the only reason they were so big is they were the
- 1:04:09first yeah they were the first and they were and now it's
- 1:04:15just other competitors now who Mak and they look nicer yeah yeah I'm obsessed
- 1:04:21with the poar the beautiful [ __ ] lovely made by Volvo
- 1:04:26they're lovely they look like 80s spaceships
- 1:04:30mhm I like the the hundes the electric hundes yeah comping byd which is I think
- 1:04:37a Chinese they're actually quite nice yeah right yeah yep they are nice hey
- 1:04:43there's also a Chinese company that bought the the badge the rights to use
- 1:04:47the mg badge and then they make kind of these like cheap family cars so if you
- 1:04:51see new cars that are MGS that it's just Chinese companies not to do with mg at
- 1:04:55all except that next year they're bringing out a roadster nice yeah I am very interested
- 1:05:02to see what they come up with this episode of multiple no gas brought to you by
