- 0:44[SPEAKER_07]: It was too good to be true.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_07]: The Browns were never going to win four games in a row.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_07]: And it was, it was lining up to be a perfect sports weekend.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_07]: My high school team won.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_07]: The buck guys won.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_07]: The Guardians reverse swept the white socks to go to the ALCS, which by the way, I've never seen a fanbase cry harder than white socks fans.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_07]: It's been very funny.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_07]: And then, so it's like all I needed was for the Browns to win today to go to foreign one and just complete the perfect sports weekend.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_07]: But it turns out the Browns, they are still the Browns.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_07]: And if they're going to lose to a team, it's going to be to a team they shouldn't lose to.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_07]: That's just what the Cleveland Browns do.

- 2:48[SPEAKER_07]: We just can't not win at the jets.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_07]: It's like our kryptonite,
- 2:55[SPEAKER_07]: when Joe Flacco scored two touchdowns in a minute and a half against us.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_07]: We just, we can't win against the jets in New York.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_07]: I should have bet against the Browns today, then they would
- 3:14[SPEAKER_07]: All the things that haven't gone wrong in the Lucky Brakes during our three game win streak all went wrong for the Browns, and it all happened in the span of about a minute and a half.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_07]: All the bad breaks, all the stupid things that usually happened to the Browns are stupid things that the Browns do that we haven't done that we've kind of figured out a way to not do latent games this season, which a lot is to go on a three game win streak.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_07]: all that happened in a minute and a half in the fourth quarter.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_07]: Special teams has been good solid to good all year to date.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_07]: Honestly, cost is the game probably just it was tough conditions.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_07]: Obviously, like it basically poured the entire game.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_07]: I wasn't expecting an offensive shoot up by any stretch of the imagination.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_07]: And the browns are going to have to win ugly this year.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_07]: Like we just aren't
- 4:08[SPEAKER_07]: deep enough and good enough at all the positions that we're going to run away even from bad teams.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_07]: Even against bad teams, we're going to have to win ugly and you can't, you can't do things like snap the ball over the guy at the punner's head and miss extra points and stuff like that.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_07]: It's just
- 4:26[SPEAKER_07]: or make bone-headed decisions with the ball in your hand and drop passes.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_07]: We're just not good enough to overcome that kind of stuff.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_07]: So, just a tough one for the Browns.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of people in the discord were freaking out after the game.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_07]: I'm telling people it's we're still three and two.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't know if the Browns are good.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_07]: I really don't, you know, we people always say you are what your record says you are and it's hard to win games and it fell we've managed to win three of our first five so we're at least that good I guess, but there's still a lot of season left we have a home game against Baltimore who.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_07]: depending who's going to be playing quarterback.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know the Browns can play Baltimore tough at home.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying the winner not, but they can play them tough at home.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_07]: It's the guys will be up for that one with Todd Monk and kind of, you know, go back game.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_07]: Even though it's at home.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_07]: And then they turn around.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_07]: They have the Titans who are awful right around.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_07]: are terrible.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_07]: So we're even with a loss to the Ravens.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_07]: We can get to get right game with the Titan to hopefully, and we're still coming out of this stretch, 4 and 3.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_07]: If I had told you to start this season that the Browns will be 4 and 3 after 7 games this year, you guys would all be illated.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_07]: So
- 5:40[SPEAKER_07]: I way overreacted to a loss in week one.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just not going to do that now.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_07]: Obviously it's a bad loss.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_07]: You can't call you.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_07]: You don't want to be a good team in loose to the jets, but like it's one loss.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_07]: It just counts as one in the in the loss column.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_07]: I'm ready to move on.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_07]: I still think the Browns can get to more wins than I ever thought they would get to this year.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's very fair.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: I just, for me in this loss, you know, and I was, I was kind of worried about it all week because obviously going back to the last three wins that we had, we didn't play all that great on offense.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we had large stretches throughout games where we were just absolutely terrible.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: It was like, okay, we're winning, you know, despite that, we're having some of these fourth quarter victories come back, something to Sean's putting in other when he has to.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: I kept telling people, like, that can't be the recipe every week.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: You can't do, like, you cannot rely on a fourth quarter heroic, you know, performance, every single game.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: And today, just didn't work.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: Everything that's been gone wrong, you saw the operational stuff.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: You saw us, we took a,
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to have to take a timeout to avoid a to lay of game, then at the end of the game, we got to the lay of game.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: We had trouble getting guys lined up.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: I saw this post breaks down real well in the second half.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_02]: Here were our offensive drives in the results.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: Three and out, three and out, seven plays in punt, then the big touchdown, which I thought, hey, here we go.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: Then we missed the PAT, then we went three and out, four plays in a punt, four plays in a turn over on downs to end the game.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, we look like a young team.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_06]: We look like a team that, you know, we had a big victory.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_06]: It was 10 days ago and it looked like we weren't prepared.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_06]: And what we really wanted to see is we wanted to see a maybe just a step up from what we've seen in the last three weeks because it's like you guys said,
- 7:28[SPEAKER_06]: the way we've been winning isn't sustainable, right?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_06]: So the biggest thing is that I know I had keys with a preview that I did with Josh there.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_06]: First of all, we wanted to run the ball effectively.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_06]: That was a complete mess, right?
- 7:42[SPEAKER_06]: Limit the jets run and third downs.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_06]: That was a completeness and it was super frustrating because I thought many times in that game that we had them second and long and then we let them if it was second and 13 we got them to third and what and for some reason we couldn't tackle in the flats and then we need to put
- 8:01[SPEAKER_06]: tackling was terrible.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_06]: Again, there's rain and there's, there's, but I mean, two teams played in this and one team won, right?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_06]: The other thing is, is they had the pressure, you know, Smith, I thought they did a good job on that.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_06]: Finish drives with touchdowns.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_06]: Mission not accomplished on that.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_06]: No, very insufficient.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_06]: Protect the ball.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, the Sean Watson can't wait to fumble it.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_06]: We did do our one thing, though.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_06]: The one thing I need of them to do,
- 8:31[SPEAKER_06]: You know, so it's that they need a better showing than they did this week.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_06]: I just felt like we went from the Jaguier's game for got the three games in between and just continued down that road except the defense showed up.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_07]: uh... uh... good comment here says if the jet's actually committed to the run game or we would have lost by a lot i agree with that i feel like the jet's kept us in the game why they were we're trying to we're missing two starting defensive lineman and they're in braylan allen to me is is good as a starting running back like i thought that was a huge concern of mine coming into this game um... if they would have been in the ball like stuck to it if they would have given him twenty touches
- 9:13[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if we would have stopped them.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_07]: They would have scored way more points.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_07]: They played right into our hand by dropping Gino back there and this weather and stuff like that.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what they were doing.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: He ended up with 24 carriers for 116 and a touchdown, 4.8, a carry.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if, like you said, if it had been, a lot of that was toward the end.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so if they were just committed like you're saying earlier in the game I do and I kind of thought the same thing with Tampa Bay back in week two I was like, why are they why aren't they running it more we're having trouble stopping it and they would just go to that weird passing attack that wasn't working up I don't understand why defenses like I'm watching the game thinking I here's what I would do to beat us, but they're not doing it.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's just very very strange, but
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we couldn't tackle him, Ronnie Hickman.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's sorry, brother.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: That was a rough one for you.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: Really now I'm just stiff arm and dudes into the dirt.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, you'd think you'd have him, or it's like, just wrap him up, nope.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's just breaking tackles and that 20 yard, whatever, 20, some yard touched on, untouched on.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: And it almost looked like they were selling out to us.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like they thought it was going to be a pat.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_07]: It like they were completely caught off guard that they ran the ball there.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_07]: I don't, it was crazy.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_06]: Jared versus Jared versus completely sold out on that one.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_06]: He didn't set the edge at all.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_06]: And it was like Miles Garrett was there.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_06]: It was ran right by him because we're trying to get the sack.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_06]: We didn't read anything on that play.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_07]: I don't, there's some of these comments that I'm not getting.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_07]: DW cannot run the ball.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_07]: The mini starts doing that.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_07]: He's getting sacked during IITs.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_07]: He didn't throw a single pick.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_07]: He's like ours.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, sure.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_07]: On the season.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_07]: He did have some pickable passes, though.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_07]: they all quarterbacks do i'm not going to get like hit his legs are his legs at times with the only thing we have going for us and that's a true and so he said he's not stepping up in the pocket i think he's doing a much better job at stepping up in the pocket this year um... got i don't think we can talk about the shons performance without talking about the offensive line they it was like we didn't have our awful
- 11:07[SPEAKER_07]: No, that was a bit.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_07]: I don't care who the quarterback would have been.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_07]: That was a business.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_07]: They had so many free runners.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_07]: Bailey became a defensive player of the year nominee today.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_07]: He won that game for them.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_07]: It was unbelievable.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_07]: We could not block a soul.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_07]: We don't have a starting caliber right tackle on this football team.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I saw somebody suggest maybe we put whiplier in at center, move, uh, Elkton Jenkins over to right guard and let Austin barber try right tackle.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like we got it, we got to try something there on the long.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_02]: Though, some of the people that I want to pick up a safety blitz fan.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, some of the coaching guys have been saying, though, like, that's definitely, uh, you know, chicken and egg thing with the offensive line isn't playing great.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_02]: But the offensive scheme is primarily shotgun.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_02]: which is making it very easy for the defense to tee off on things because it's easier to identify whether you're running or passing.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: So we got to figure out a better balance of this offense because it's starting, I hate it, but it's kind of feeling that Kevin thing where it's getting predictable.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: You line up in a certain way and teams are like, well, they're either doing this or this.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: And by the end of the game, you can figure those things out.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like a lot of teams are mostly in shotgun, no.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, maybe I'm crazy, but I watch a lot of those games.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't see a ton of under-center stuff.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe we're a little higher than average.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_07]: And maybe I'm way off, but I don't know.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like I watch a lot of shotgun.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_06]: I think they talked about that on the actual game and they were saying like we were really high, like we're 90% in it, but I just don't know if that was on a specific down or if that's the entire game, but between pistol and shotgun, like Deshawn Watson generally does better in that.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_06]: So I mean, you're right, that would tip off a pass and we would have to change that up a bit.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_06]: But we're not working on it.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: We're on the center.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: We're the second highest.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: We're pretty much tied with the bankals.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: They're at 72.3% shock and we're at 72.1.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this was before today.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: So it's probably even higher.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, let's see the lower teams like the Niners or at 43.9 bills or at 45.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: See hocks at 46.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: So there's definitely a range here.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_07]: We're on high.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_07]: the line can't block.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_07]: We missed an extra point after we should have had a 3.0 lead.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_07]: We then it immediately turn around and give up a huge kick return that we got lucky that Carson Schwesheringer made an insane play to force the fumble.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_07]: I'm also watched then when we did get the ball back after that quinsha jikings gets the hand off and runs right out of bounds for
- 14:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, too clock like with the team made so many boneheaded six.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_07]: I watched I say a bond play one of the worst games I've ever seen and if I watched Superplay I mean if Annie was I might say Super I'm not saying we go on to win this game But if he catches that that pass he was no I opened and I don't I feel like I need to go back and watch with the one
- 14:51[SPEAKER_07]: Big play he did make down the sideline.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_07]: He just caught it.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_07]: He just caught it reen on a bowels.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_07]: He never even once tried to catch it and run up the field.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what he was doing on that.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_07]: There's nobody in front of him.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: And that's right now.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of Watson's best throws.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: That was a very nice pass.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: Hit him perfectly and stride.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: And like you said, all you to do was plan a foot and turn and go up field.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: He could have gotten at least 10 more yards.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know where the defenders were on that.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_07]: I'd have to see the other angle, but yeah, I think he's behind his guy there couldn't have been many people in front of him.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_07]: One guy to be.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he won't.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: But my gosh, anyone straight out of bounds.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, the Jenkins thing was infuriating.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_06]: Like the whole the whole drive was.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_06]: We took six seconds off the clock.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_06]: It was ridiculous.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_06]: Like I can't believe that that junction in the point or that point in the game that we only got like six seconds off like we're supposed to be in our four minute offense and the first thing you do is you run out of bounds and then you took you throw two incomplete.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: So we forced a fumble late play because I was four minutes and 20 seconds left in the game on our 39 yard line.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: Four plays later.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: The jets have the ball back with 401 left at our 23.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks to the the botched punt snap.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_07]: But you're not blaming everyone else except he W's crazy.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't say he played perfect.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_07]: He could have done things well.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_07]: I'm saying he wasn't the biggest issue with why we're all.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, here's the thing about today's game.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty much everybody sucked.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we have just, you know, moments, but for the most part, everybody played poorly, except for Quincy Williams and, uh, Molly Cole, they were on their A game today.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, Carson Swesinger wasn't great either.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: But he did have some nice plays.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: Green and Delp, it wasn't great.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: He had some nice plays.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like he got beat by Mason Taylor for a first down and then a couple plays later comes back on that punch out on Garrett Wilson to force a punt.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, it was up and down for everybody.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_02]: The problem is it was not up all at the same time enough for us to have a chance.

- 18:54[SPEAKER_07]: No, it was just a total kind of a total team effort in failure.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, there you go.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_07]: And it's like it all, when we threw the touchdown to Boston, I was like, we just did it again, because I didn't think they were going to score another point.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_07]: We had bottled them up now for essentially three and a half quarters.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, we're going to go up three.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_07]: There's no way they're scoring a touchdown.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it worse that you know, they're getting a vehicle and then Andre misses the extra point and it's I'm like I can't even be overly mad So first one is missing what week one of last year Is that the first extra point is missing sweet one last year and he might have missed one other extra during the year, but it was only like one I'd have to look, but yeah, like he's been damn near perfect, and I texted you guys as soon as that happened I said we're losing this game now.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: I just yeah, that was the moment you could just feel it
- 19:46[SPEAKER_06]: And we had a big return, we had a big return, and then yes, typical Browns.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_06]: We just don't do well after that for whatever reason.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_06]: We lose.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_06]: We miss an extra point, and it's the end of the game for us or that's the turning point for whatever reason.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_06]: But I mean, the offense just wasn't good period.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_06]: Eight sacks allowed.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like, you can't, you can't pass for, like, 155 yards.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_06]: And I can't remember what our net was, like, 120, like, 120.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_06]: It's just any.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_06]: One, two, that's right.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, big deal.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_06]: We didn't have, you know, an interception, but there's there could have been and two fumbles.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_06]: Come on, man.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the thing is like.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it was raining.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: So like I get some of it because I mean, they were fumbling too on the jet side of the ball.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, the ball was going all over the place, but it wasn't just it was like a pretty heavy rain for the game.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_06]: That was a monsoon man.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_06]: The way it was coming down like that was brutal.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_06]: They were showing about an inch of water on the on the field at the time.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_06]: And it was wild.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_06]: And I get like I was kind of like, what is?
- 20:49[SPEAKER_06]: You know, bond doing.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't seem like he's running fast, but I don't really think anybody could want run fast and that kind of weather.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you got to watch your foot.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, when we all played football, it's short, choppy steps.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_06]: That's going to make you not as fast.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_06]: So, I mean, there's some degree of that, but the offense overall, it just lacked cohesion.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_06]: The
- 21:10[SPEAKER_06]: offensive line never gets to the second level.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's like there's five guys.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_06]: We know there's four defensive linemen.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_06]: They put their hats on, you know, the four defensive linemen and then they just don't go anywhere.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_06]: Then you get quinch on junkins.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_06]: He's literally shot out of a cannon and he just hits the back of somebody and then we fall down and we just repeat every repeat.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_06]: repeat.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_06]: And it's like, what are we doing?
- 21:34[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 21:35[SPEAKER_06]: So it was really tough to watch.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_06]: And then when you get into the passing, we clearly regressed when we were in the passing game, especially the offensive lineman.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_06]: And then to Sean Watson got collapse, he had the run, he had nowhere to go.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_06]: And then when you lack that cohesion on the offensive line, the receivers just aren't open.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_06]: They weren't getting ready.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: And how have we made it this far into the episode?
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mentioned make a fits Patrick yet.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's just about to show that.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I know we lose our second best receiver or whatever case shows you in the first half because or the first quarter was as a second drive.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: Make it gets two personal, personal fouls on KC.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: The first one he tackles and rips his helmet off by his face mask.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: And then a couple of plays later.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: He just goes right at his helmet, knocks him flat out unconscious on the field.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how does make a Fitzpatrick allowed to play football?
- 22:35[SPEAKER_07]: If Fonte's perfect isn't going to get kicked out, this dude's such a piece of shit.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_07]: I apologize.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_07]: But, like, we don't ask, we watch the, we watch them basically Ed Nick Chubbs career.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, just robbed him of the Hall of Fame with just the most BS hit ever on the dude and then it was a second penalty on this this drive and it was straight head to the neck like
- 23:05[SPEAKER_07]: he left his feet.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_07]: It just keeps doing it.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_07]: And that killed the offense to him because now the sudden bonds get in touches that case he should have been getting.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_07]: Judy's getting more touches than he should have been getting.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_07]: It just escalated from there.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_07]: And we knew that was an issue.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_07]: We talked about depth coming into this season.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_07]: There's a big reason why I didn't think the Browns were going to be very good.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_07]: We were in injury or two away from just being really
- 23:35[SPEAKER_07]: the offense tanked bad.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm not saying it would have been great to begin with, but it would we use them as such a gadget player.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_07]: We move them around with their quick screens to them, jets.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_07]: I kind of like he's a big part of the offense.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_07]: So it's just I freaking hate make a Fitzpatrick.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_07]: Like I don't wish they'll upon many people, but I would
- 23:55[SPEAKER_07]: I would not, there'd be no tear shed in the Renekor house if that dude gets kneecapped.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_07]: Like, if he gets tiny or harding, you just- Yeah.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, KC was, he was in the air trying to make that catch, he's defenseless receiver and he launched himself at him to the head and neck area.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: I just, you know, the NFL makes such a big deal out about player safety and all this stuff, which we all know isn't really true.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's just a marketing thing for them.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, 15-yard penalty, and let's just keep on playing.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: This is second personal foul on this drive to the same player, by the way.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I just don't know what they'll slap him with a fine this week.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, cool.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's so dumb.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_06]: Now, you need to take some games away from him.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_06]: He's not learning.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_07]: The offense sucked because the head coach can't call plays in the quarterback sucks.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_07]: I can't.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm about to check it.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: Here's one thing I will say about Todd Munkin that I was I was looking at things after the game, and I'm thinking How do you come away from any game?
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: And Harold Fanon Jr. has one catch for four yards.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like I was I don't know about integral part of your game plan every week going in like We're we're gonna feature him.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to make sure that he's getting this number like he is one of your best players, especially after you lose case he concept you had Denzel boss
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like, Harold Fanon needs to be a focal point of the offense.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: You wonder why things aren't moving so well, because you're trying to use Jerry Judy or throw the ball out to redeem Sanders when you should be looking at Harold Fanon.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_02]: I know it sucks that we can't run the ball.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's a whole, we need to have that conversation too.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, why we can't do anything.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_06]: I think everybody watching the game knew what kind of weather this was going to be.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_06]: Generally when you have a weather game like this, you're going to play 21, 31 personnel.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_06]: We played shotgun and I don't know if it had to do because Carson Ryan couldn't play.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_06]: True.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_06]: How about that?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_06]: Blake.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_06]: Blake.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_06]: Whiteheart was nowhere to be found and we couldn't find Harold Fan and Junior.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_06]: We didn't have a screen game, we didn't have
- 25:56[SPEAKER_06]: any short game.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what we were doing.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_06]: It just was a discombobulated mess that I don't know what we were trying to do in offense other than it was a continuation of what I said previously.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_06]: They just all of a sudden thought they were in the Jacksonville game and just couldn't get anything right.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_07]: You know, the two runs to see Baltimore's Titan numbers with monkey in the last couple seasons.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_07]: Like it is the Titan just not
- 26:21[SPEAKER_07]: like a part of those.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_06]: They did 21 personnel.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_06]: They did 31.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_07]: They kept for tight ends on the roster and you know, they had, they had Andrews and likely, but in likely would flash, but he'd ever, he didn't go crazy.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_07]: There's a, you know, he's doing more in New York and a short amount of time than he really ever did and Baltimore and, and Mark Andrews.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, like, how often are they featured in the offense?
- 26:46[SPEAKER_07]: I guess it's my point of a top-market offense.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: Because until they got Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews was the featured.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, but they have wide receivers this year.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm not saying we should face fan and now the offense.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_07]: I just think it's realistic to expect your tight end to not get as many targets when you now have legitimate wide receivers on your roster.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: But I guess my point is today we only had one legit.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_07]: I agree with that.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_07]: I agree with that.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, something's got to change if you lose KC like, and it should have been fannon.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_06]: And fannon's got a lot of targets the last two games.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_06]: So what happened this game?
- 27:24[SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's not like their linebackers are going to be match coverage for fannon, right?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I mean, I do understand what you're saying about, you know, we didn't have Carson Ryan.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it was just, what was it just fan and white heart were active today?
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: So if we're trying to use fan and hit blocking purposes, I guess that would make sense why he's not out here.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: Catch pass.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_07]: Hard of, I don't know this for a fact, but some of, obviously, the shotgun stuff is definitely because it's the shots more comfortable, but also we don't have.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_07]: the tight-end personnel to be shot in two and three.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
- 27:57[SPEAKER_07]: We don't we need it.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_07]: We don't have we don't have the person health for that like it's
- 28:02[SPEAKER_07]: to for us to get under center with two tight ends.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_07]: You're not going to put fear of failing on the end of the line blocking that often.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_07]: That's, you know what I mean?
- 28:11[SPEAKER_07]: Like that's not a recipe for success.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_07]: So some of that plays in some of the shotgun stuff.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_07]: I think plays into just personnel right now.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_07]: We're just not deep at some positions.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_07]: And we knew that coming into the season, especially a tight end.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_07]: Like we were begging to get some more tight ends.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_07]: One part of the problem with the offense too, it's so one-dimensional, we don't run block very well, but I quit shot, Jedkins does not look good right now, and I was trying, you know, the line it has something to do with that, obviously, but
- 28:47[SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't look explosive even on plays that are blocked up well.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_07]: He gets guys get angles on him Doesn't make guys miss.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_07]: He's not really breaking tackles.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_07]: He just he runs into the back of guys What was last time you saw Quinn John Jenkins hit it cut back and I guess I could not have to go watch and see like if if there's any opportunities for it
- 29:06[SPEAKER_07]: I watch Rocket Sanders and I watch McLaughlin and McLaughlin, however you say it, McLaughlin.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_07]: I watch they both look more explosive when they touch the ball.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying that they're, you know, if we'd be running for 200 yards a game, but just in their limited touches, they look far more explosive.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_07]: Like, at what point?
- 29:28[SPEAKER_07]: do they start to get more carries.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_07]: I, I don't know.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_07]: Can you face Quintchard's executives out of your offense this early in the season?
- 29:34[SPEAKER_02]: His best thing here is best run today was where he ran right into the back side of somebody bounced off and then luckily there was nobody on the outside.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: So he was able to break it out and take it to the side and down the edge a little bit.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: But again, right into the back side of somebody, I did see both Quintchard, Juddkins and Carson Swesinger responded leaving the game today and walking boots out of the locker room.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: something to keep track of there.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know if Quint Shawn's even fully, like I know he's been fully medically cleared, like in all that, but to get back to 100% explosive, like we saw him last year look explosive.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: He looked good.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: He could make the cut back so he could make guys miss or just not seeing that this year.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: So if I hadn't seen it last year, I'd be way more worried that it's a complete talent thing.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: To me, I just, I don't think his abilities are fully
- 30:26[SPEAKER_02]: which is I want to this week I'm going to go look at the stats from Tony Pollard when he had that injury when he was with Dallas because the year after that it was very similar looked like all this guy's done he lost his explosion he can't make the same plays make the same moves and then by the end of the season it started to come back but it took a while and that's what I was concerned about with Quinn Sean coming into this season and then they did the whole OTA training kit all he's great to go you know he looks great and I was like oh well maybe as a little different
- 30:53[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think flashed a little bit last week though, didn't you?
- 30:57[SPEAKER_06]: I thought he flashed a little bit against the Steelers.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_06]: I thought he looked a little bit more explosive and I don't know if it was the water on the field and maybe he was running like the roadrunner or wily coyote would not get anywhere because of that rain, but I mean, I think it was on its way up and now I don't know after this game.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_07]: you know, guys running into ball of shotgun hurts the running the running like listen I get that but hit us the other two running backs still look better and they're also running out of shotgun I'm not saying that the run game would be part I'm saying that they're all all three running backs are currently being put in the same position they're all running front plays from shotgun behind the same bad offensive line and two of them look far in a way more explosive than the guy who's getting a majority of the carries
- 31:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think this shotgun, it's almost like the shotgun only approach right now is hurting.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's not helping the run game.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go there.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think the blocking scheme is not working very well.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_02]: I do think the shot gun approach isn't working very well, and I do think that Quinshawn has a lack of explosiveness right now as well.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's all these things working together because it's not like Raheem Sanders and Julia McLaughlin are ripping off five or four and a half yards per carry in any of these games.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: They're having some nice runs at times, but for the most part, they're it.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: 3.5 yards of carry too.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's just a whole scheme issue.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: Those guys are definitely more explosive though.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: I do agree with you on that right now.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_07]: Do we want to do a quick break and come back and get to some of our voice mouse?
- 32:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, if I could find my mouse, if I could find my stuff, there we go.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be right back again.

- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: He did not play a great game again, but like I said, 4th and 11, you just gotta throw that ball up, man.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody's got to make
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: but having five or six drops drop balls, the A at bond just could not hold on to the ball.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: I will say this, Denzel Boston might be our best receiver, but Casey can set his own might be the most intact because the things he does with the ball, you could tell they wanted to use him in the screen gain, maybe some end around, some runs, whatever the case may be.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: This one really sings, given that we just came off three wins and now we got the Ravens at home,
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: Lamar takes an extra week off to get healed right but anyway boys love the podcast doing a great job.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Go Browns.
- 34:58[UNKNOWN]: Who?
- 35:02[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there just wasn't much with the offense today, man.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_06]: Not much at all.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_07]: I would too would have liked to have seen them throw it to somebody, but again, it was another play that's literally running for his life.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_07]: And I mean, I guess he could
- 35:21[SPEAKER_07]: We weren't winning.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's just kind of, it's funny because I've watched three play times.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, he ran back to the line of scrimmage and got tackled.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's just, what a fitting end of that game.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: You know, don't even give the guys a chance to make a play.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it just, the, the, and it doesn't come down to anyone play.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: The entire game was crap.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: For, we, again, we get the ball to start the game.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: We go three and out.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_02]: We can't.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: The scripted drive suck.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: I just think offense, I know we won three games in a row.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: But it wasn't because our offense was great.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_02]: Our offense kind of sucks.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no, our offense, our offense.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_07]: I think you saw like in the first half last week, what the offense could be at times.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_07]: And then you saw like what it can be at times.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_07]: You'd just even in like the third and half of the fourth quarter last week in for a lot of today.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_07]: Today is very tough also, the elements played a huge factor in terms of explosive plays in that kind of thing.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_07]: But if it was perfect whether, do I still think the offense would have been great?
- 36:26[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_07]: You know, like the offense just made what was like a shit sandwich, probably a poopier.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_07]: A little runnier?
- 36:33[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_07]: So, but again, I wouldn't have, and then once you lose KC, I'm not expecting big things.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_07]: It just really does suck though, that it's limited as the offense is, and we know that they're limited, and I'm not into Sean Defender, but he's played well in fourth quarters this year, he's led three game winning drives, he's played better at times than I ever thought he would play for us this year, and then he's other times he's played about what I would have expected him to play this year.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_07]: But in the fourth quarter, we threw the touchdown pass that felt like it was going to be like holy crap.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_07]: We just did it for the fourth time in a row and then the other two phases of the game chose that time to just completely fall apart and it just felt like a game not from this season.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_07]: It felt like a game from the last two years, previous to this season.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_07]: like you just can't we just couldn't get out of our own way.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_07]: We finally got something out of the offense and we just miss an extra point screw up a punts nap and let a guy walk in from 20 yards untouched against a defense that's been lights out for 3.9 quarters to-
- 37:40[SPEAKER_07]: up to that point.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_07]: It's just, yeah.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it was just a game that just, it just wasn't good.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: Don't let the offense off the hook there either at the end of the game, though, because I mean, they're the ones that decided to take four seconds to clock when we had the lead.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: Like, everything.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_02]: If we scored, and from the second, we lined up to kick the P.A.T.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: It fell apart.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: It was just everything was bad after that.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_02]: Every hit.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's, oh my gosh.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_06]: yet we just fell apart and that's that's what Blake was getting to it that we missed a whatever potential kick for points on the board and we would just fall apart after that and that's why we only got what eight wins in two years and that weird it's ugly had again and we got a I hate to say like sound like the coach we got to do better what I mean like what do you say after a loss like this other than you got to do better worth a point where I did quince run go over did he have
- 38:34[SPEAKER_02]: Russian against the Steelers?
- 38:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: You had 70, I thought.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: Will we get 100-yard Russia this year?
- 38:41[SPEAKER_07]: It might be too shawn if we do.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: If he breaks like a super long one or something, because... Yeah.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_02]: And this goes all the way back to most of the last year, especially as I once should or started playing games.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_02]: The quarterback has had to be the leading Russia for most of these games.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_07]: go to hell you're going to do when your quarterback has to be early in Russia you know you got nobody you can turn around hand the ball off to and have any hope they're going to get yards there's one comment here it says Blake can't win games by doing good in one quarter I push back and say you can win three yeah as we do in fact have three wins that by doing that so that
- 39:20[SPEAKER_07]: I think you're wrong.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: I will say in the Steelers game it was the entire first half was good.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: That was sweet and then it fell apart after the third quarter.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like the third quarter this year has been like, we suck bad.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_06]: But sometimes it's our first drive in the third quarter, man.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_07]: I just want to talk about the the Steelers game because that's on vacation.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_07]: But.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_07]: I just thought like Watson had his best half of football as a Cleveland Brown and then in the third quarter they let him throw the ball three times.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_07]: It's like we were like, oh we have a lead.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_07]: We're just going to try to milk this lead the entire second half and just got completely out of rhythm.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_07]: I thought the play call and got insanely conservative in the third quarter last week.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so obviously a little off topic,
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: No, but I mean, it's fitting because no matter what if you're like in the third quarter, we're not doing things right because Zach Jackson posted, we ran six plays today in the third quarter for ten yards.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: That was our third quarter.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to win many games when you have a quarter like that, especially in the second half.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_07]: It's impossible to get any kind of rhythm, you know, and then you get, it's amazing that we've had the fourth quarters we've had with those kinds of third quarters.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_07]: You like, how is the team and any kind of rhythm, how can anybody do anything after that?
- 40:37[SPEAKER_07]: It's kind of unbelievable.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_06]: need complimentary football guys, complimentary football and we don't do that.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_06]: We don't have an offense that can sustain long enough drives that doesn't wear out our defense and our defense gets gasped and then we have a 22 yard run from Allen that's hinting the game with nobody touching them because we're gasped.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, he's three and two, but could easily be one and four.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_06]: I don't care about what he could easily be, but he is three and two.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't really care about what he could be.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so here's the whole thing that I'm feeling with the chat.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, this is, I think this is a lot of Brown's fans out there in general.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: either you either don't want to Sean playing anymore or your tired of him or you want should or you the thing is we just have to understand to Sean's the quarterback and he's going to be the quarterback I think until I don't I think probably unless he gets hurt he's going to be the quarterback all year like that's just the way we're going so we have to like think that way and the fact is he didn't play great today.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_02]: but he also played well enough that we probably could have won that game if we hadn't botched that plant if we made our extra point.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six
- 41:59[SPEAKER_07]: And you can just tell based on the comments, there's a ton of people who were just hoping for the browns to lose, so they could come out and complain about the quarterback.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_07]: They couldn't do it the last three weeks because they were winning.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_07]: You're not even browns fans, just to just leave.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, there's just, there's so many problems in that.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that's what, that was kind of what I was trying to,
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: get people understand this week coming into this game is like I know we're on a three game streak here and it's great, but if you if you just and people all your haters, you know, you just want to be negative.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm like I'm looking at the underlying stuff saying
- 42:36[SPEAKER_02]: We can't win many games playing like this.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_02]: I guess not going to work.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_07]: We're going to, we're going to ride.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_07]: It's sustainable.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_07]: A good defense.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_07]: Hopefully a special team is going to get back to being solid and the ACC is scheduled.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_07]: That's what we're going to ride on this year to hopefully still be playing competitive football late in the season.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_07]: Um, because of.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_07]: We know the offense isn't going to be great because I know that the quarterback isn't going to play at a high level all the time, but today in it times a sheer he's played well enough for us to win football games and that there were times today, he was the only one on the offense doing anything.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_07]: They had free runners at him, he got out of sacks and made big time throws and we dropped him.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_07]: Or you know, so it's like there were there's been times this year on the offense where he's been the only thing we had go and force keeping us in the game And then there's been times on the offense where he's been in the future Well, that's just kind of the Deschon Watson experience, but he's starting quarterback in the Browns the Cleveland Browns Not the Deschon Watson's or the Shidorah Sanders the Cleveland Browns are three and two with a chance to still be you know over 500 playing a division rival
- 43:49[SPEAKER_07]: Makes me want to let you do this.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_06]: Monkin was hired to do better than Simmons to Fanski's offense in the last two years.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_06]: They average 16 points or whatever a game somewhere along that lines.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_06]: He's getting us in the wins.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_06]: He's got us up past 20 and we have an awesome defense and we kept saying for the last two years we just need 20 points to win because we can hope people to 17.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_06]: We did that today.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_06]: it's just we scored 12.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_06]: That's not good enough.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_06]: We're not going to hold people to 9 points again.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: So we just got to figure it out next week.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: But the disappointing, I mean, there's so many disappointing things.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: But you look at this, the coming into the day.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: No Mason Graham, no Mike Hall Jr. We're calling two guys up from the practice squad who are going to play significant reps on our defensive interior.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: Going against the running back that can pound the rock and it's like, oh, this might not go so well for us.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_02]: And he did, and he had a good rushing day, but we were able to keep them from getting touchdowns.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the first drive I thought they were going to just blow us away, because it was 70 yards, boom down the field, Garrett Wilson touchdowns to you guys later.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like, holy crap.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: That was easy.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: Then the pressure came.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: Then we switched things up.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: We started playing more man.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: And making Gino Smith uncomfortable.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, okay, now we're playing the defense.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: So we saw the last three weeks.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, we cannot get all these phases to come together and play a complete, and there's like, play, no one's ever going to play like a hundred percent great game, like from start to finish.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to have ups and downs, but you don't want your downs to be too low, and you don't want there to be too many of them.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: We have a lot of lows today and way too many as a team.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_06]: I just, but I also just don't like the way the game was called because if you take a look, you know, seven targets for bonds, seven targets for Boston, seven targets for Judy.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_06]: This game isn't a game where you're going to get receivers open.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_06]: This is a game that those seven targets, that should have been for fan and that should have been for, um,
- 45:47[SPEAKER_06]: uh... quinceon coming out of the backfield uh... or a him coming out of the backfield and there's like white heart was nowhere to be found on the statue i don't know where he was there's there was a driver to maybe where it was like we ran the ball
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: for no gain or maybe a yard.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like second and nine.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: Then we ran it again.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, now it's second or third and eight.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, you know, this isn't working.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_02]: Find something else to do.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like, I don't know if they're just so hell bent on.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to make this run game work.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_02]: As the game goes on, you gotta adapt because it's not working.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_07]: It's very funny to me because a lot like when we had Kevin, everybody complained that he abandoned the run game.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_07]: He actually has a huge complaint and now we have a coaching staff this year who seems adamant to try to stick to the run game and everybody's mad that he's trying to stick to the run game.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_07]: And it's just like maybe we just won't be happy until something works.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_07]: You're right.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's the thing.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, um, I'm with you.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_07]: We run the ball for no yards or, you know, negative one.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_07]: It's like it best.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_07]: We're in second and nine or second and eight.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_07]: And then we come out.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_07]: We run the ball again.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_07]: We live in third and long.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, well, offense is going to be successful.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_07]: We don't have a run game.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_07]: We try to run it on first and second down.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_07]: Now we're in third and long with a bad offensive line.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_07]: And against the defense and nose, we're going to throw the ball just
- 47:09[SPEAKER_07]: We're just killing ourselves with some of that.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_07]: I get you don't want to abandon the run game.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_07]: To be honest, he probably doesn't want to put the ball into Sean's hands 50 times to throw the ball 50 times a game because you're going to start seeing more turnovers.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_07]: So he's trying to slow the pace down.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_07]: limit, limit possessions for the other team.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_07]: I get win dirty.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_07]: I almost think, it's a top monkey nose.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_07]: We got to win ugly.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_07]: We got to muddy up the game, slow it down, win with defense, not turn the ball over and just a couple times the game hit our shots.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_07]: And that's how we're going to win football games.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree with you, because I, so far I've seen nothing from this offense that makes me think we're going to run away from anybody.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_02]: We're never going to get a double digit lead on somebody, really.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: We're probably gonna be playing from behind a lot and not to the defense as fault, either.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's just over the course of a game.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: Team's are gonna score points.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: They get one out.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: You can't score points back.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's tough.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, well, they go on a consecutive three and outs.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_06]: Legs.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_06]: Over three times.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_06]: And that's hard on a defense.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_06]: Unless they're pitching the three and outs as well.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 48:28[SPEAKER_02]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: So, if you think the public is wrong and the Browns can make the playoffs in Todd Munkins first year, or Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, one of those guys can win offensive rookie of the year?
- 48:51[SPEAKER_02]: You can take the other side of the market, and then if you're right, that's a big payout for you.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not just sports either.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_02]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_02]: It works like this.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: Simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.

- 50:27[SPEAKER_03]: So here I go overall.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think Watson played a pretty good game for the conditions he was in
- 50:32[SPEAKER_03]: When we have a terrible O-line, I mean, terrible O-line, granted I know Watson's supposed to, you know, adapt and get out of those situations, but I mean, every single play for him, like, come on dude, like, I don't know.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_03]: I really don't know if Bond is absolutely terrible, we all know why now he should not be playing any professional reps.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, I don't know, man.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, wreck snap in the ball over Corrie's head.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, dude, you're literally getting paid to do one simple thing.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_03]: Just do your freaking job.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, I don't know, man.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to come on here and talk to you guys about it.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_03]: See what you guys thought.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know, overall, I'm going to stay positive.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm looking forward to the Ravens.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, I think it'll be a good bounce back.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_03]: We just got to stay locked in and keep on rolling.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_03]: Go dog.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I get him with the dissonance and thing like, I mean, I thought he made reads when he could.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_06]: He got let down by drops, the eight sacks sucked.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_06]: They're not all on him.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I just found like he was running for his life, the entire game, you know.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_06]: So you had a bad drop by McLaughlin, you had a bad drop by bond and three different quarters.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_06]: Those could have all been a drive, sustainers, they didn't happen, and we got a loss.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_07]: uh... he was uh... i'm not a good interest says he won't step up in the pocket creates at least fifty percent of his own sacks sometimes sometimes you were hundred percent correct there are games that he has done that this wasn't that that game i thought he stepped up in the pocket very well he took some shots today step up in the pocket yeah uses legs i thought he uses legs well today so it's like we've we're complaining about things that he's done in the past today
- 52:19[SPEAKER_07]: It's like he didn't watch today, like that wasn't the issue.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: So they had good sex today, the offensive, well, okay.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_02]: The offensive line was charged with five of those.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: Gilliam McLaughlin was charged with the sixth one must have missed like a putting line back or something, and then Deshawn was charged with two.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_02]: There was definitely one.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: I did see the clip online where he had
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: definitely had like four seconds behind the line to to figure things out and then scrambled pumped and poured it down ran into a sack okay that happens and it sucks but a lot of the game was the line I mean I I should have brought up the the tweet it was like seventy six percent pressure rate or something from the jet like they were just bringing the heat every play they look like us against carolina yes
- 53:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, like it looks like that's against Caroline and we and why not unbelievable if you know a team can't run the ball and their Goverback is shaky under pressure just blitz the shit out of them in your play in the monsoon Yeah, you're playing or you had it.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yes Our running backs don't pick up safety blitz as that's for sure
- 53:29[SPEAKER_02]: that Brownley was in the backfield like any time all day all day it was unbelievable.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_06]: Bailey didn't the Bailey didn't get blocked I mean I don't know what was going I don't if you're a quarterback I don't know it doesn't matter who played you wouldn't be successful in this game it just didn't wasn't aligned for any quarterback.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_06]: No to Sean's been in the league for 10 years I get that I get that you guys think that the Sean had a bad
- 53:58[SPEAKER_06]: but I don't think it's all on him, but it goes back to what we're saying, the whole offense was bad.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think the receivers were separating.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_06]: Once KC went down, the whole offense looked lost, not just a shot.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_07]: Um, what's Dwarnt Jones is bad.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_07]: There.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was he got a little test run today to see if he would be a good feeling for Tires out of my gut.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, if you just got taken behind the wood shed over and over again, they were plays, he didn't touch.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_07]: He's so slow.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_07]: His, he does not, he can't move his feet.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_07]: I watched his dude.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_07]: dip inside him so many times and it just oh lay he looked like a madador is that with uh the yeah oh my god it was uh he had to wishing for tightest heart that's wrong believe who has me wishing for jet wheels oh okay i won't go that one i won't go that one you guys want to hear a song from Bradley yeah yeah
- 55:06[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I want to know, have you ever seen the rain?
- 55:12[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, great.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_04]: I want to know, Will the browns ever win for an arrow?
- 55:21[SPEAKER_04]: Send 20, 20, 3.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_04]: Here we go.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_04]: Well,
- 55:27[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that was a game where so many opportunities to put that game away, and then there was the special teams PTSD collapse again, you know, yeah, the weather probably definitely paid a factor though, but man, it was just, this game was, haha, haha, haha, haha.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_04]: Brown's moments of after Brown's moments, it was just all over the place.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_04]: Dishpaan played okay, but could have been better.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_04]: There were some moments that he could have done some better things.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_04]: uh... quinceon juckins looks like Trent Richardson but uh... lee hey i mean at least our defends look pretty good and held it together uh... quincey Williams let's go man that was awesome but uh... he came away with a loss and it is what it is let's go browns there might be the most upbeat non-depressed voicemail i've ever heard from Brad after your loss
- 56:28[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we already got three more wins this year than anybody thought we were going to get.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: So it's okay, it's fair.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_07]: We almost went this whole episode without talking about Quincy Williams.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_07]: That dude balled out three forced fumbles.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_07]: I wish the Browns could fall on more than one.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, my gosh.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_07]: There was one where we had five guys around the ball.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we did come up with it, but Quincy Williams.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_07]: Dear, the last couple weeks, it's like he's figuring something's out in the scheme.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_07]: He is playing unbelievable.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_07]: He has been, it's been awesome.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_07]: Himant Carson.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_07]: If we get our D-line back, like if we can get Hall in Grand Back, like the defense played pretty well today, missing half of their starting defense of why.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_07]: It's the best ones.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_06]: And they're still getting sold out after three and out and three and out and three and out, man.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_06]: They get sold out in the third quarter.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_07]: to, he was, he'd let people up.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_07]: Like, it was, you know, good clean hits, Minka.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_07]: It was, he's been, he's been awesome.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_07]: He's been at everything we can hope for when we signed up.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody was given Quincy Care, some crap on X said, you know, the defense was not great today, because Quincy said they were awesome.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_02]: Quincy said they forced two turnovers.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_02]: The offense gave them crap fields all game.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_02]: No points to work with on the board while playing shorthanded on the deadline.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: Seven of the jet 17 points came on our special teams, uh, wonders.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_02]: And worse, you can say the defense gave up 14 on the road.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: What were you want to defense doing the NFL?
- 58:05[SPEAKER_07]: Now, they only scored 17 points, right?
- 58:07[SPEAKER_07]: And it sucks that when they got that touchdown, it was kind of like the backbreaker at the end.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_07]: But the other team gets paid too.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it's not crazy to believe that a team is going to score 17 points, even against a good defense.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_07]: If we hold every team we play this year to 17 points, we'll be one of the best defenses ever, you know?
- 58:28[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so every side.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_07]: So, yeah, the defense,
- 58:33[SPEAKER_07]: the defense was phenomenal.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_07]: Now, do I think the jet kind of helped?
- 58:36[SPEAKER_07]: We talked about that early in the episode.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_07]: I think if they were to commit it to the run game early, the defense would have struggled more.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_07]: Um, but they didn't.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_06]: We had a lot of tackles for losses though, man.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I felt like we were like second and 12 a lot of times and then all of a sudden we're like
- 58:57[SPEAKER_06]: in the flats.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_06]: It drives me nuts, you know, or it's a quick slant, which I wish we could have done this game, but we just didn't dial up slants today.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know why.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 59:07[SPEAKER_02]: The thing, these things, I don't get it, man.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the game demanded it based on the rain.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_06]: You know, like I just, someone said it in the, uh, in our conversation here in the chat, the game plans sucked on offense.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_07]: And I just think the offense is not going to be that good this year.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, based on five games, I mean, this shouldn't be fully formed by now, so probably not.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_07]: I know a lot of people want to put it solely on the quarterback.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_07]: His inconsistent play is definitely part of it.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_07]: I think our offensive line despite being revamped is not that much better than it was last year, especially in the run blocking.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_07]: And I just think we are young in everywhere except for a quarterback.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_07]: we are incredibly young on offense.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_07]: We're relying on a second year tight end to what you rookie wide receivers, a second year undrafted wide receiver in Isaiah Bond, and two second year running backs.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_07]: And was McLaughlin undrafted out of Youngstown State, or was he like a seven year.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he was undrafted.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_02]: So was draft Sanders?
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, so these like the offense is just young they have they get inconsistent quarterback play they they don't have a good offensive line
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_07]: I just think the offense you should 100% expect to be up and down.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_07]: I think they're going to have good moments, they're going to have bad moments.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_02]: We've struggled with this.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we saw that against every game so far it's been, I mean, it's been field goals.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we've been chunking away on the scoreboard, just kicking field goals, just hoping that God, we can keep the other team from scoring a touchdown because if they get too far ahead, we're screwed.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_02]: And it was like that with the Panthers, there was like, we were nickel and diamond, the whole game like field goal field goal field can we just edge him out.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_06]: Well, the good thing is always what Blake's pointing out is the youngest of the team, right?
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_06]: Like when you take a look at this team and you saw it's rear, it's ugly, head, last week against the Steelers, we started off hot.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_06]: First half, Josh mentioned it, awesome.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_06]: Then, savvy, steeler players, like, you know, what they baited Deshawn Watson into a fumble, we had that there was an interception at the end of the game.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_06]: So this is what happens with young teams.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_06]: And then what's going to happen is like, this is this is going to be a learning lesson.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_06]: This game is going to be a learning lesson.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe they came in with their head held high.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe they thought they were going to run over these jets.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe they just depended too much on one player because Casey went out.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_06]: They didn't know what to do.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_06]: No one knew how to step up, right?
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_06]: Those are all learning points.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_06]: These teams like this that are young, they'll learn from that.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_06]: There will be ups and downs.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to drive us crazy all season for sure, but you just got to get past that and they got to learn from these things.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_06]: They got to come out firing against the Ravens next week.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_06]: That's what we need to see.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_06]: They need to correct some stuff.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_02]: Totally agree man.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: Um, we'll probably do what one more voicemail here.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get Stacy.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: What's up dog pack?
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: Get Stacy.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it looks like the Browns are not going to be four and one.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, I think we all were hoping that they could have pulled something out and we were kind of starting to string some wins together.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: But.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_00]: Back to the old Browns, I don't know what it is about the jets, but they just have our number every fricking time and every time we play them, special teams falls apart and everyone looks terrible.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, a lot of this game, in my opinion, falls on offensive line, they looked absolutely terrible, absolutely terrible, guys were coming unblocked constantly, constantly into Sean Watson's face.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, he did pretty good evading some of this like the pressure, but you could only do so much when it's constantly happening to you like that.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_00]: And as far as I say a bond, well, I don't know who's worse, him or Judy and I, I never thought I would even say that or compare anybody to Judy being being as bad as Judy with dropping the ball.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I think now we see why we haven't seen a lot of Isaiah Bond because clearly the kid cannot incatch the ball.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's sorry for swearing.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's so bleak that one out.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_00]: But seriously, catch the ball.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that hard.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_00]: How many throws did you have hit him in the hand today?
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_00]: This team really needs to recoup and come back better next week.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_06]: Go dogs.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, tell you, she hit the hell in the head with that.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_06]: His drops were bad.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_06]: They were right in his hands.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_06]: When he was came free across the middle, which was, was that an actual slant that he did?
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_06]: He had his hands up and just right out.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_06]: That was terrible these days.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_02]: Twice today.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it was like he'd quarry Coleman a couple of times dude.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_02]: Come on now.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how many people saw the other angle, but the one that he looked like he dropped the touchdown pass from Watson dude.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he dropped that.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_02]: He extended him.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_02]: He laid out for that pass as far as he could possibly go.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_02]: Still went off his fingertips.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like that ball was way out in front of him.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there was some of that that wasn't all his fault, but the ones over the middle, the one where they catch it, but went out of bounds like, like, like, what, what are you doing, man?
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like, there's a reason I think we see now, everybody, we'll get Judy off the field, bond needs those reps.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he does.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_02]: There might be a reason why he's not getting more reps.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_06]: I'm talking about that bond where he just kind of went out of bounds.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that should have been cut up the field.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_06]: That reminded me of Jerry Judy doing that weird thing against the Raiders and kind of going out of bounds and funneling like that just gave me bad vibes.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_07]: I, um, I need to watch that and maybe get the end zone for you because at least on the live broadcast.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_07]: It looks like he caught the ball.
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_07]: two three arts and bounds and could have ran and he just casually ran out about.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_06]: I'm still sitting here trying to figure out what he was doing.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_07]: So, um,
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, man.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I think that basically basically, I mean, we'd be the dead horse.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_07]: It's one loss.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_07]: Luckily for us, we got a lot.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_07]: I see things in here like when are we going to talk about it's not working in bench, not working guys.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_07]: We we're like a botched punt snap for being foreign one.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_07]: Like, you know, like, I don't know what your expectations were for the Browns in this year.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_07]: I know I didn't expect to be foreign one.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_07]: I definitely didn't even expect to be three and two.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_07]: So to just say, I didn't say that it's not working at all.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_07]: Like, there's definitely been problems when there's definitely been things that that work were a quarter of the way through the season were three and two, and we have a game with the Titans right.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to say it now, it works, the browns are going to be 4 and 3.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't think they're going to lose to the titans are, that'd be barely close by since then we can talk about making all kinds of changes.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_07]: That's exactly what I said in the discord today.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_07]: I said I'm not going to over react to one loss, let's see where we're after the titans.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_07]: If we've lost three straight in two of those, three are to the jets in the titans, we can start talking about
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_07]: it's going off the rails.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_07]: We need to make changes.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_07]: As it sits today, it's a tough loss on the road in a monsoon and a place that historically for some reason we can't win.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_07]: And we're three and two still and if we split the next two weeks and I still think we can be Baltimore at home.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_07]: We in a play I'm tough man.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, we'll be four and three after at the midway point of the season essentially.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_07]: That's way better than I expected the Browns to be at any point this season.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I know what might go just a few minutes over here if you got the time, but I'm sure you guys agree if they disagree with me.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to say something that I know is going to piss a lot of people off in the chat.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_02]: I, from the Browns perspective, I'm looking at this season now with this Browns team and I'm very confident that I don't think the Browns have their long term quarterback on this roster.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_02]: We, all this talk this week about, are they going to extend, you know, to show them lots of me, get some of the playoffs, okay, we'll see if we can get to the playoffs with this kind of offense about put every week, even if they did extend to show, he's still not the long-term answer for this team, and if you should do our Sanders as a long-term answer, I think you would have seen more commitment to him.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_02]: As long as they're close to winning games and not getting blown out and things are still moving along, to show them what's going to start this season.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_02]: I just, you know,
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_02]: What the Browns have done, their actions, that's what I'm seeing.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_02]: So that's, I know people are going to get mad at me for saying that, but I think if you're, if you're not seeing those signs, you're not looking at it.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_02]: What do you guys do now?
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_07]: No, I, I've been saying that for since before this season start.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, to Sean Watson stats against other quarterbacks isn't great.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_06]: We keep saying over and over and over again that this isn't sustainable football.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_06]: Again, like you took a look at today, I don't think it was all to Sean Watson's fault, but he shouldn't help out either, right?
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's basically what one of the colors was saying.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_06]: I think it was Brad.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_06]: He just said, oh, he wasn't great.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_06]: It wasn't good either.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_06]: And that's kind of the way he's been all year.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_06]: So if you think like again, we're seeing offensive wise, it's sustainable, that's delusional, because it's not.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_06]: And we're lucky to be three and two at this point.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_02]: If you know what I want to talk about, like what's what is Deshawn Watson for the Brown?
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_02]: We just lost a genosmith who had a better statistical output than Deshawn Watson's like genosmith right now in his career.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_02]: You can win some games with him.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to win a bunch.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to go very far.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_02]: But he'll help out your young guys and probably the best option they have right now with with the way they're trying to run the offense.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_07]: So to be trying to destroy Shador's career, all right.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_07]: It's time to climb.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's time to go to bed.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a sunny day football.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_07]: The only team that was willing to trade up and draft them and give up picks to get them.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_07]: They're the team strategically trying to destroy his career.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_07]: Good touch grass.
