In top news. A dog named Draco has become an
• 5:38
unlikely hero after alerting his owner to a potential
• 5:41
electrical hazard. The pet parent noticed Draco
• 5:46
obsessively trying to cover a specific power
• 5:49
outlet in their hallway. Seeking answers, the
• 5:52
owner shared the unusual behavior on Reddit,
• 5:55
where the post garnered over 17 ,000 upvotes.
• 5:59
Commenters quickly identified the issue. leading
• 6:02
the owner to discover that the outlet's wiring
• 6:05
was faulty. The landlord had an electrician disable
• 6:09
it, and now Draco has returned to ignoring the
• 6:12
outlet. For his efforts, he was rewarded with
• 6:15
new toys and treats. In business news, Bitcoin
• 6:22
has reached a new all -time high, trading at
• 6:25
$113 ,853. driven by President Trump's pro -crypto
• 6:32
policies, corporate buying, and a rebound in
• 6:35
the stock market. Following Trump's election
• 6:39
victory, Bitcoin surpassed $100 ,000 for the
• 6:43
first time, though its growth faced challenges
• 6:45
due to market volatility. Now, corporations like
• 6:50
MicroStrategy and Tesla are stockpiling Bitcoin,
• 6:54
introducing new risks to the market. Additionally,
• 6:58
regulators have approved spot Bitcoin exchange
• 7:00
-traded funds, leading to nearly $148 billion
• 7:05
in holdings. As always, Bitcoin remains a risky
• 7:09
asset, correlated closely with stock market trends.
• 7:13
In crypto movement, Bitcoin is up 7 % for the
• 7:18
week, to about $117 ,000. Ethereum is up 15%.

• 8:17
Morning sent you by. And now, back to the show.
• 8:22
Let's talk tech. Microsoft and OpenAI are facing
• 8:27
a significant moment as they renegotiate a contract,
• 8:30
allowing OpenAI to transition into a for -profit
• 8:34
company. OpenAI is preparing to release an open
• 8:38
  -language artificial intelligence model, debuting
• 8:41
as early as next week. This model will enable
• 8:45
companies and governments to run it independently.
• 8:49
contrasting with OpenAI's typical closed -weight
• 8:52
models. As Microsoft lays off as many as 9 ,000
• 8:57
employees, the impact of OpenAI's open model
• 9:00
could affect Azure customers, potentially pushing
• 9:03
them towards rival cloud providers. This evolving
• 9:07
landscape raises questions about the future of
• 9:10
Microsoft's exclusivity with OpenAI. And in entertainment
• 9:16
news. In an exciting revelation, Pedro Pascal
• 9:21
and Vanessa Kirby shared that the upcoming film,
• 9:25
The Fantastic Four, First Steps emphasizes family
• 9:28
and unity. Directed by Matt Shachman, the reboot
• 9:33
aims to revive the Fantastic Four series after
• 9:36
a 10 -year hiatus following a poorly received
• 9:39
installment. Featuring a star -studded cast,
• 9:43
the film introduces Marvel's first family. including
• 9:46
Pascal as Reed Richards and Kirby as Sue Storm.
• 9:51
Pascal expressed that the film embodies optimism
• 9:54
and a pure heart. The movie, which also explores
• 9:59
motherhood through Kirby's character, will be
• 10:01
released globally on July 23rd. Well, all righty,
• 10:06
folks. It's time for the quote of the day. And
• 10:10
today, our quote comes from the American writer
• 10:13
and philosopher Will Durant. And he said, every
• 10:18
form of progress is a victory in the war against
• 10:22
ignorance. And that's a wrap for this morning.
