- 0:02In the last episode I had mentioned there are five requirements of being considered a
- 0:10practicing Catholic and would make up for not going into detail, and the requirements
- 0:18are attending weekly Mass and Holy Days of obligation, go on, eating ten
- 0:27percent of income to the church, fasting for me on Fridays during Lent,
- 0:38going to confession once a year, and receiving communion once a year. On
- 0:47paper sounds good in theory, but in reality not so much. It's easy
- 0:54to see the other side buying into defenses like just pray to God for forgiveness,
- 1:03I have no money to give, I'm too tired or busy for mass.
- 1:12However, or do you follow through? It's supposed to help become more
- 1:19knowledgeable of theology hearing all those sermons, and a sense of accountability going to
- 1:30Catechism to check off communion and confession making sense in that sense. My favorite
- 1:44sources that recap the requirements are Relevant Radio dot Com, YouTube channel Lizzy Answers,
- 1:53and YouTube channel as Session presents as for or is the part about a
- 2:04greater support for a Catholicism would make a more happier world. Here's the thing
- 2:12I get the appeal of Protestantism, when you feel low believing in God,
- 2:19you can feel like an accomplishment to the point where it affects the ability to
- 2:24want to go to confession and having faith is the emphasis. However, because
- 2:36of how broad Prodestisism is with the different denominations, it causes a sense of
- 2:46end fighting over what is true, over issues like death penalty, gay marriage,
- 2:57and being environmental. Tool With Catholicism, it doesn't emphasize on God's love,
- 3:08but it also stresses taking responsibility and our actions affect others more than we
- 3:15realize or what to admit, and having that mindfulness creates better unity supposed to
- 3:30until the next one. Peece Sin Chicken, Greece
