- 1:47Speaker 1: Whistline hit Ready, thank you, Hey. We got a good
- 1:53Speaker 1: game tonight though, the forty nine ers and the Rams,
- 1:56Speaker 1: which those Thursday night games, I think they've started to
- 1:58Speaker 1: be better than Monday night games. Monday that game it
- 2:00Speaker 1: kind of saw last week, Yeah, but I liked it.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I liked the game tonight.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Thursdays used to be really bad yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 1: The first started first, it was like they were getting
- 2:08Speaker 1: the game. The NFL was like, we kind of wish
- 2:10Speaker 1: this game didn't happen. Yeah, so well you can have it. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: it's kind of good. So that's a good game tonight.
- 2:15Speaker 1: We'll get to all that coming up in a little bit.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I did want to start with if I say the
- 2:20Speaker 1: name Alex Honold Eddie Alex s what Honold h O
- 2:23Speaker 1: N N O L D hockey player? No, he's the
- 2:27Speaker 1: free Solo guy. Did you ever watch the documentary? No?
- 2:30Speaker 3: Oh oh no, free Solo he that's I'm the rock.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah I think I did see it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 3: I did see that documentary. This was a long time ago.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Tell me about it then ten years ago. It was
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yosemite or one of those words. Just it's like a
- 2:44Speaker 3: big rock and that's all I remember. He climbed it.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Maybe you just saw clips.
- 2:49Speaker 3: No, man, I'm pretty sure I watched the whole documentary.
- 2:51Speaker 3: He lived in a van, didn't he. Yeah, I had
- 2:53Speaker 3: a girlfriend at one point. We can't break up with her.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Now you're talking about stuff. Now we're getting there and
- 2:57Speaker 3: watch them.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Maybe you did see it, and he would like always
- 2:59Speaker 1: do like pull ups in the van, and he was psychotic.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And also they like measured him, tested him, and like
- 3:06Speaker 1: his heart rate never went up when things were dramatic,
- 3:08Speaker 1: like whoa, just to do what he does, you can't
- 3:11Speaker 1: freak out, And he always stayed the same. And so
- 3:15Speaker 1: that's the guy that free soloed. What's that mountain called
- 3:18Speaker 1: Mike Well copy time? Yep, there you go. Now, okay,
- 3:20Speaker 1: now you got it all.
- 3:21Speaker 3: We thought it back slowly, dude.
- 3:22Speaker 1: This is in twenty eighteen when it came out.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah, close to a long time ago.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So he's doing a Netflix two hour live special called
- 3:30Speaker 1: Skyscraper Live, which rock climber Alex Hannold will attempt to
- 3:34Speaker 1: become the first person to scale one of the tallest
- 3:37Speaker 1: buildings on the planet, Type A one oh one. The
- 3:39Speaker 1: skyscraper is the tallest building in Taiwan, the eleventh tallest
- 3:43Speaker 1: in the world, consisting of one hundred and one floor standing
- 3:46Speaker 1: almost two thousand feet tall. And by the way, it
- 3:48Speaker 1: doesn't say it, but he has to be free soloing this.
- 3:50Speaker 1: People wouldn't care, yeah, because that's what he's free solo.
- 3:52Speaker 4: But he does.
- 3:54Speaker 1: From the Hollywood Reporter, that's crazy, but it's like, we're
- 3:57Speaker 1: watching to see if he dies.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I was thinking, Like do we out
- 4:00Speaker 4: if he falls?
- 4:01Speaker 5: No?
- 4:01Speaker 3: No, No, that's why we watch.
- 4:03Speaker 4: But I'm just saying, like, does the broadcast like as
- 4:05Speaker 4: soon as he falls, that's bad juju. But if he
- 4:08Speaker 4: ever did.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But but you say bad juju, that's why we're interested.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You think we're watching to watch him climb a building
- 4:14Speaker 3: and make it to the top.
- 4:15Speaker 1: No, well we are, but we're watching that but with
- 4:19Speaker 1: the risk, Like the risk of him falling is what
- 4:21Speaker 1: actually gets us to watch. If we knew the end
- 4:23Speaker 1: of it, we wouldn't watch it. It has to be live.
- 4:27Speaker 1: If there was a TV show we recorded this last
- 4:30Speaker 1: week and Alex Honald made it, let's watch him climb
- 4:32Speaker 1: the top of the building, we would not tune in
- 4:34Speaker 1: and care. Yeah, but because he's doing it live and
- 4:37Speaker 1: there is a threat a risk, we will be interested.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why we watch people in the high wire,
- 4:43Speaker 3: you know, that's what we watch.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Like guy that skydive from space. Yeah, that kind of
- 4:48Speaker 4: being dumb though, Yeah, hey you're right, miss the right
- 4:52Speaker 4: guy space.
- 4:54Speaker 1: They took him up farther than anybody's ever skydived before
- 4:57Speaker 1: he jumped out.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Whoa was he in a space suit?
- 5:01Speaker 1: No? I don't think so.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Oh so this is like technically he was in space,
- 5:04Speaker 3: but it was really just high.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It wasn't like on the Moon. He jumped off held
- 5:08Speaker 1: he jumped off and held his nose like he jumped
- 5:10Speaker 1: in the pool.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Got it.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I think this is interesting and I will probably
- 5:13Speaker 1: watch Yeah, I will too, But man, that's what.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Are the details?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Is this pay per view like Netflix's awesome? So yes,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I watch it, So yes, pay per view, but you've
- 5:22Speaker 1: already paid for it.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, prepaid, pre paid review.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I did that to him, like, oh, this one's free. No, no, no,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I'm paying every month to watch this stuff. So I
- 5:31Speaker 1: wanted to lead with that. I've now come into the
- 5:35Speaker 1: algorithm on my TikTok feed of magician secrets, like they
- 5:40Speaker 1: give away their secrets. They don't someone else does. And
- 5:44Speaker 1: so I watched David Copperfield, who floated on a carpet
- 5:48Speaker 1: all the way across the Grand Canyon on television in
- 5:50Speaker 1: the eighties, and it's like, this is how he did it.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And he goes to a ring first to show you
- 5:55Speaker 1: that there's no wire, supposedly, and then he's flying over
- 5:59Speaker 1: the grand cane just loading, and the camera scoots way
- 6:02Speaker 1: back and you just see him floating, and then they
- 6:05Speaker 1: break it down and they show you how he got
- 6:06Speaker 1: through the ring, and then how it was actually a helicopter,
- 6:08Speaker 1: way way way way over. No I was carrying him,
- 6:12Speaker 1: it was it was connected to but the camera had
- 6:14Speaker 1: moved back just enough to show you a very wide
- 6:18Speaker 1: shot and there's no way he's being carried by anything.
- 6:22Speaker 1: But it was just a really long helicopter. I wonder
- 6:26Speaker 1: if I can find that.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Does that kind of ruin it for you?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Though?
- 6:28Speaker 3: Ruin it?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Like I don't believe in real guys, Like it was
- 6:33Speaker 1: never real. It was never real, So I'm curious at
- 6:35Speaker 1: how they pulled it off. I know what it's like, Dang,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you believe in magic.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Maybe it's more fun to have the fantasy of like
- 6:42Speaker 4: maybe uh you never know.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Another than for me. So maybe for you that's fine.
- 6:48Speaker 4: David Coppy, it's like telling you, guys are like telling
- 6:50Speaker 4: a four year old that whoa whoa whoa whatever you're about.
- 6:54Speaker 5: You know, Candy is wide canyon? Can you figure out
- 6:58Speaker 5: how he did it? In nineteen eighty four, the famous
- 7:01Speaker 5: magician David Copperfield performed a leap over the Grand Canyon
- 7:05Speaker 5: in Colorado, spanning sixteen thousand kilometers. This magic act shocked
- 7:10Speaker 5: audiences worldwide because David actually appeared to be flying. Let's
- 7:14Speaker 5: revisit the entire process of David's leap over the game.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I want to revisit the whole thing.
- 7:19Speaker 5: But camera moving from in front of David to behind him,
- 7:24Speaker 5: passing through a door frame, and finally landing in front
- 7:27Speaker 5: of the beauty. Now, let's uncover the secret. In reality,
- 7:31Speaker 5: David achieved this through a helicopter with suspended wires because
- 7:35Speaker 5: the helicopter flew higher than the camera's view, making the
- 7:39Speaker 5: wires invisible to us. How did David pass through the arches? Then,
- 7:43Speaker 5: as we can see, when David passed through the arches,
- 7:46Speaker 5: there was always a curtain behind him. Inside this curtain
- 7:49Speaker 5: was a support structure.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I watched like ten of these in a row.
- 7:53Speaker 6: I did see the statue of Liberty one.
- 7:55Speaker 3: They give away that one too.
- 7:56Speaker 1: M hm, yeah, they don't just show it again. Yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: Brandon searching for magic.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Again, Show my algorithm me magic, don't.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And don't run it.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You know, we kind of went viral a while back
- 8:07Speaker 3: when we I exposed the Remember that kid that threw
- 8:10Speaker 3: a touchdown pass to himself, Like they show him throwing
- 8:13Speaker 3: the pass and then he runs and then like runs
- 8:15Speaker 3: really fast and catches it. Do you remember that video clip?
- 8:18Speaker 4: Not like a game as a clip, it's a clip
- 8:20Speaker 4: like out in the park or something.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Yes, I debunked that. Do you remember that must have
- 8:24Speaker 3: been like twelve years ago.
- 8:26Speaker 1: No, mister perfect, did that a wrestling back in the day.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He chunks like sixty yards and then runs under and
- 8:32Speaker 1: catches it and goes perfect And then you realize it's
- 8:34Speaker 1: just edit, camera editing.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yeah, camerait Yeah, but it's so funny.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Because you debunked a camera edit well.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Because no one everyone was like, this is amazing, this
- 8:41Speaker 3: is so cool. How did he do that? He's so fast,
- 8:44Speaker 3: Look how he runs so quickly to catch his own paths.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I'm like, guys, it's an edit. You don't see the ball.
- 8:48Speaker 3: He throws the ball there, you never see the ball.
- 8:50Speaker 3: So someone else chunks it. So we recreated it. Who
- 8:52Speaker 3: did Yeah? Me and lunchbox.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But I think are poor people just stupid that day?
- 8:57Speaker 3: No? No, because they believed it and then when they
- 8:59Speaker 3: saw us, like you didn't that's not real. I'm like, no,
- 9:01Speaker 3: that's exactly how the guy did it. But we had
- 9:03Speaker 3: hundreds and.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Thousands of views of that, hundreds and thousands paid for.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Do you remember anything like this?
- 9:10Speaker 4: I do remember them doing that.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But was the video easily editing?
- 9:14Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 9:15Speaker 1: The original one, the original one. Yeah, So people were like,
- 9:17Speaker 1: why are you debunky something we already knew.
- 9:18Speaker 3: No, no one thought that it was edited, the original one.
- 9:22Speaker 3: No one thought that that was edited. They thought this
- 9:24Speaker 3: guy was super fast. I just don't remember, so I apologize.
- 9:26Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 9:27Speaker 1: The one I remember that people thought was real was
- 9:28Speaker 1: Tom Brady throwing the ball into the gun.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Yeah right, yeah, the baseball that they use it. Yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 4: and then the hand machine.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and he thought it ben to ketchup to shoot
- 9:38Speaker 1: it back out.
- 9:39Speaker 4: I was editing.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you guy should debunk that one. Yeah, I didn't.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Uh.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Patrick Mahomes also throw over the stadium, like from outside
- 9:47Speaker 3: in the arrowhead.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I don't know, but I think maybe that could happen.
- 9:51Speaker 4: I think from the inside out.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Wasn't it one of the two where he threw it from.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I would need to see it because if it's like crazy crazy,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I won't I don't believe anything.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I thrown it in or out of a state. It
- 10:00Speaker 3: was pretty crazy.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But I think if you're outside of it, you can
- 10:03Speaker 1: throw it over the wall.
- 10:04Speaker 3: You think so, well, then arm.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They can throw like seventy eighty yards. I would think like,
- 10:08Speaker 1: if you're right on it on the edge of the wall,
- 10:10Speaker 1: obviously you need to back up enough to get the angle.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I saw that Milton.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Oh did you see the Joe Milton one with a
- 10:17Speaker 3: moving guy?
- 10:18Speaker 4: Dude?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Does he have to throw it from the outside parking
- 10:20Speaker 1: lot to the field or can you just go over
- 10:22Speaker 1: the wall because I think over the wall.
- 10:25Speaker 4: And then hitting the very top bleachers.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't remember.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Oh, I don't remember.
- 10:30Speaker 6: Rick Mahomes throws a football outside of the stadium.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Okay, so there's it from in the stadium.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Out Yeah, real or not?
- 10:37Speaker 6: I think it's real.
- 10:40Speaker 3: This is how everyone watches those videos, like.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You was it a Gatorade commercial or is it just
- 10:44Speaker 1: like a random clip?
- 10:46Speaker 4: Because then there was a Fantasy football commercial back in
- 10:48Speaker 4: the day where they were punching through walls and catching footballs,
- 10:50Speaker 4: remember Chris Chambers and I remember that all that.
- 10:54Speaker 1: There was also the Christmas basketball one where they were
- 10:56Speaker 1: playing the Christmas Carol to the nets.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Yes, that was cool.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, is that fate? Of course?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Whatever? It was, all right, that's cool. We got some
- 11:09Speaker 1: stuff to talk about. Who's gonna win the Heisman? I
- 11:12Speaker 1: made two bets before the year started, and they both
- 11:14Speaker 1: are going to be losers because I had bet Lenora
- 11:17Speaker 1: Sellers South Carolina. He got hurt, obviously. South Carolina is
- 11:20Speaker 1: kind of lost a little bit of their team. And
- 11:22Speaker 1: then I also bet nesmre l s U he's hurt.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, there's something up.
- 11:27Speaker 3: They do not say anything.
- 11:30Speaker 1: So those are my two bets that are not going
- 11:33Speaker 1: to win. Here are the leaders for the Heisman. Who
- 11:36Speaker 1: do you think you're gonna win?
- 11:37Speaker 3: Dante Moore? I hope. I'm hoping Dante Moore because I
- 11:40Speaker 3: have two of his cards.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Oh you didn't better them? No? No, are they signed cards?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Signed? Are they graded? Not graded? U? C l A
- 11:50Speaker 3: because he was UCLA right, m hm yeah. I dug
- 11:53Speaker 3: him up like three days ago. I'm like, where are
- 11:55Speaker 3: these cards?
- 11:55Speaker 1: They're here somewhere, perfect condition, I think so. Oregon quarterback
- 11:59Speaker 1: Dante More is the current betting favorite at plus six hundred. Yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 1: kind of favorite. But those aren't awesome. Odds to say
- 12:07Speaker 1: he's going to for sure win it, like you can
- 12:10Speaker 1: still make some decent money on that. John Mattier had
- 12:12Speaker 1: been leading, but he had a hand surgery with Oklahoma,
- 12:15Speaker 1: so he's gonna miss a couple of games. They played
- 12:18Speaker 1: this week. I think Kent State and I think they're
- 12:20Speaker 1: Texas next week. Yeah, and he should. I think he's
- 12:24Speaker 1: missing both of those games. Miami's edge rusher Rubin Bain.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I just don't see a defensive player winning it.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Absolutely, diego Pavia.
- 12:34Speaker 1: If they beat Alabama this week and he has a
- 12:36Speaker 1: good game, he's he's now up there in the top
- 12:38Speaker 1: two or three.
- 12:39Speaker 3: That'd be awesome.
- 12:40Speaker 1: South Carolina running back Robert Henry Junior averaging nine yards
- 12:43Speaker 1: of carry and Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson. His name is
- 12:48Speaker 1: Brayson Simpson. That's why they call him Tie.
- 12:51Speaker 4: I did not know that.
- 12:51Speaker 3: How do you get tie from Brayson?
- 12:53Speaker 1: I need to make sure this is right. Is his
- 12:55Speaker 1: name Brayson Simpson. I did not know Ty was Brayson.
- 13:00Speaker 4: The real name is this is his real name is
- 13:02Speaker 4: also Ty Simpson, Tyler James Simpson.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I wonder why he says Alabama quarterback Brayson Simpson has
- 13:08Speaker 1: thrown for eleven hundred yards.
- 13:10Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Yeah, CBS Sports, I can do to parlay this week.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Here's what I have. Would you might type in the
- 13:18Speaker 1: sant Kevin. Ye, see what the odds are.
- 13:20Speaker 3: So here's what I'm going with. Hold on, then pull
- 13:23Speaker 3: it up.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Kentucky at Georgia. I'm going Georgia minus twenty and a half,
- 13:29Speaker 1: got it down. Penn State at UCLA. This is a
- 13:32Speaker 1: Penn State. Hey, don't forget about us. We're still a
- 13:34Speaker 1: good game. I'm going Penn State minus twenty four and
- 13:36Speaker 1: a half.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Got her down.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Did you say Kentucky plus?
- 13:41Speaker 1: No, you missed it? Trains trains moved on.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Oh come on, man, I'm in the station, dude, I
- 13:45Speaker 3: need to jump on this parlay.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'll go back over in a second. Uh, Texas Tech
- 13:49Speaker 1: minus eleven and a half at Houston. It's not even
- 13:52Speaker 1: an away game. So we got Georgia minus twenty.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And a half. Oh minus twenty got it, Penn.
- 13:59Speaker 1: State minus twenty four and a half in Texas Tech
- 14:00Speaker 1: minus eleven and a half, YEP plus five eighty nine.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Hey, that's good.
- 14:04Speaker 4: I like it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: It's basically the Dante mor bet pretty much. If you
- 14:09Speaker 1: want to get in on the parlay or make your
- 14:11Speaker 1: own parlay. DraftKings has an awesome offer for new customers.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You can turn a five game five dollars bet into
- 14:16Speaker 1: two hundred bucks and bonus bets if your five dollars
- 14:18Speaker 1: bet wins. Pretty cool. All you have to do is

- 14:22Speaker 1: Sports the word the code Bobby Sports, turn five bucks

- 15:09Speaker 1: Eddie wants to walk us through some would you rathers?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yeah, these are just things, dumb questions. My kids asked
- 15:14Speaker 3: me while I'm trying to watch football. So I was like,
- 15:16Speaker 3: let me ask the guys. Okay, would you rather be
- 15:18Speaker 3: an NFL running back or an NFL receiver?
- 15:23Speaker 1: I would rather be an NFL wide receiver. U longer
- 15:27Speaker 1: live span. You're just not getting hit all the time.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I mean you you peak at thirty that you know.
- 15:33Speaker 1: That's what they say. They are a couple to beat them.
- 15:35Speaker 1: You're thirty years old. They started to look at you
- 15:37Speaker 1: as you got too much tread off the tire.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Wide receivers, you can be thirty four. Yeah we had
- 15:42Speaker 1: an extra three or four years. If all things are
- 15:44Speaker 1: the same. Yeah, and wide receivers are a little more
- 15:46Speaker 1: in demand right now, Like more offenses are built around
- 15:49Speaker 1: wide receivers than they are running.
- 15:50Speaker 4: The ball, get paid more everything.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I would go wide receiver.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I do the same thing easily. Receivers, without question.
- 15:58Speaker 3: They get paid more. They're running back.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, unless you're Saquon, but then even you compare the
- 16:02Speaker 1: highest receiver to it's the receiver still getting more. Yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: especially like Justin Jefferson Jamar Chase. They're making more than
- 16:10Speaker 1: Saquon I believe, Yeah, and that's the best versus the best.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'd really be a quarterback though than what anything quarterback? Okay,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I think most people think thinking about quarterback.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Do you know what my problem would be? This would
- 16:24Speaker 3: be my only problem with the memory of the place.
- 16:26Speaker 4: You're only a problem.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I'd forget the place.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why. I don't think you would,
- 16:31Speaker 1: because when you hear them, it does sound like, wow,
- 16:34Speaker 1: how do they remember all that?
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:35Speaker 1: What I would compare it to are all the buttons
- 16:38Speaker 1: you have to push when editing things. There's like forty
- 16:40Speaker 1: two buttons and you know which what they all mean.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But you've learned that slowly from base on and so
- 16:47Speaker 1: you've learned how to do the main things, and you've
- 16:49Speaker 1: learned the things that are on top of that. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: that's exactly what learning a playbook is.
- 16:53Speaker 3: So they just kind of muscle memory after a while.
- 16:55Speaker 1: No, it's all the terms that you know, with more
- 16:59Speaker 1: terms than you know. Yeah, so if you just walk
- 17:02Speaker 1: into it and all the language is new, and all
- 17:04Speaker 1: the concepts are new. Yes, But if someone walk into
- 17:05Speaker 1: what you're doing right now with all those buttons, they'd
- 17:07Speaker 1: be like, I can never do this. This looks so
- 17:08Speaker 1: intimidating because there's so much here. It's like when you
- 17:11Speaker 1: walk in and look at the in the cockpit of
- 17:13Speaker 1: an airplane, Oh, so many buttons, or a recording studio
- 17:15Speaker 1: when they're singing. But I even think with a recording studio,
- 17:18Speaker 1: we've done so much we can figure that out. Yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 1: but it does look very overwhelming. I think that's what
- 17:21Speaker 1: happens whenever you hear a quarterback play. It sounds so overwhelming.
- 17:24Speaker 1: All these words you don't know. When it's all those
- 17:25Speaker 1: words you don't know, you're like, I don't know any
- 17:27Speaker 1: of this. It's going to swallow me up. But when
- 17:29Speaker 1: you know what all the words means, it's much easier
- 17:31Speaker 1: because they go together too.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Yeah, and they all mean something as far as like
- 17:37Speaker 4: one word will mean the linemen are doing something, one
- 17:40Speaker 4: word means the receivers are doing something. And then in
- 17:42Speaker 4: your head you're like, okay, lineman here, receivers here, boom
- 17:44Speaker 4: boo boo boom.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's but that's the thing that seems complicated,
- 17:48Speaker 3: is that the quarterback knows what everyone is doing. The linemen,
- 17:51Speaker 3: if they only hear their key word, then they get
- 17:53Speaker 3: the command of what they're doing. But they're really just
- 17:55Speaker 3: listening for that one key word.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Well, the linemen are calling their cover, are calling their
- 17:59Speaker 1: black schemes as well, which are is different?
- 18:01Speaker 3: Oh do they call their own like offensive?
- 18:03Speaker 1: The center does. Yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 4: I do a lot of talking on there. Yeah, you
- 18:05Speaker 4: got him, you got him, blah blah blah.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Oh that's why they point their fingers.
- 18:09Speaker 1: No, they're talking crap. I hate you, Yeah, yeah, I
- 18:12Speaker 1: hate you. Uh.
- 18:14Speaker 3: And then the quarterbacks have to look sometimes at their sleeve,
- 18:16Speaker 3: like at the menu, like gosh, I just.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Landed the menu.
- 18:19Speaker 6: What am I going to have?
- 18:20Speaker 1: But talking with even Matt Castle a bunch, I've been
- 18:24Speaker 1: able to be better at breaking down what plays mean.
- 18:26Speaker 1: If someone's like, uh, you know thirty two based dive
- 18:29Speaker 1: alert twenty eight eight, I'm like.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Oh, that's two plays.
- 18:33Speaker 1: So that's like twenty eight based dive alert means if
- 18:35Speaker 1: he calls alert, they're they're going to the second play.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That's the backup, that's the second play. They'll call two
- 18:39Speaker 1: plays at once. So when you see him on at
- 18:41Speaker 1: the line going alert Alert. All they're doing is saying,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I called two plays at once, and you heard the
- 18:46Speaker 1: second place, So we're changing now.
- 18:48Speaker 3: That is so cool. Depending and the quarterback depends on
- 18:51Speaker 3: what the defense is doing. She looks at the defense
- 18:53Speaker 3: set up, he's like, all right, we're changing it. Yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 3: that's so cool.
- 18:56Speaker 1: And it just sounds like a bunch of words with
- 18:58Speaker 1: alert in the middle. But then you realize, oh, okay,
- 19:02Speaker 1: alert is actually the middle. If he says that, here's
- 19:04Speaker 1: the second play.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Yeah, because I feel like I could have been a
- 19:08Speaker 3: quarterback man. My arm is good, like I have a
- 19:10Speaker 3: good quarterback arm. I remember when I played in high school.
- 19:14Speaker 3: I was a receiver. I wasn't a quarterback, but the
- 19:17Speaker 3: quarterback was always like, let me warm up with Eddie.
- 19:20Speaker 1: That said a lot, right, because they didn't need you
- 19:21Speaker 1: out doing the rest of the stuff.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I didn't start. I wasn't gonna be. Yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 3: I wasn't gonna be at the beginning. But he wanted
- 19:26Speaker 3: to throw with me because he kind of get a
- 19:28Speaker 3: good rod.
- 19:28Speaker 4: You ever try out.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Why would a quarterback want someone who could throw good
- 19:31Speaker 1: back to him?
- 19:32Speaker 3: That was just the rhythm man. The rhythm of like
- 19:34Speaker 3: just back at you, because I remember this one guy
- 19:37Speaker 3: was like, all right, warm up with you, Danny, and
- 19:38Speaker 3: he's like, no, no, no, give me Eddie. Want to warmup
- 19:40Speaker 3: with Eddie.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Did the coach ever go up just I don't know.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Maybe did you hear the coach being like, hey, warm
- 19:46Speaker 1: up with Eddy? So he feels involved, like I demand
- 19:49Speaker 1: you warm up with Eddie.
- 19:50Speaker 4: He didn't catch any balls in practice this week.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Let's let's get him over here when.
- 19:53Speaker 6: You give him a shot?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, what else you got?
- 19:56Speaker 3: Let's see? Would you rather be a kicker or a punter.
- 20:00Speaker 3: That's a tough one.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I think this one's This one's tougher. It's definitely tougher.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Now kickers are more famous. Yeah, kickers also have more pressure,
- 20:09Speaker 1: lots of stress. Kickers get cut a lot more than punters.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Do you get a strong punter? You really can't lose
- 20:14Speaker 1: that job. Yeah, you miss a few kicks in a row,
- 20:17Speaker 1: you'll lose your job unless you're Mason Crosby. And even then,
- 20:21Speaker 1: when you sucked them, like should we cut Mas to
- 20:22Speaker 1: Crosby even though he's been a fixture, And eventually they
- 20:26Speaker 1: cut Ma to Crosby yeah, but it did. Yes, I mean,
- 20:31Speaker 1: you gotta be justin Tucker and be doing stuff pretty much.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Even young Hoku, he was like the best kicker in
- 20:38Speaker 4: the game last year.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Breaking Falcons cut. They even put up a message thank
- 20:42Speaker 1: you Young Hoku on their Instagram when they cut him
- 20:45Speaker 1: for your service to our team.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Goodbye.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Why did they cut him he kept missing kicks? Oh?
- 20:50Speaker 3: Because they because they framed that as like he was
- 20:53Speaker 3: missing the game for like personal reasons.
- 20:55Speaker 1: No, they cut him, dang, yeah, personal reasons. He couldn't
- 20:59Speaker 1: make a kick.
- 21:00Speaker 3: He personally couldn't make a kick personally.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yes, I think because of my ego, it's kicker of
- 21:09Speaker 1: the two. You want to be I want to Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 1: I want a shot to be the guy.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and you do you do get a shot.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I think if it were just about having consistency and
- 21:19Speaker 1: having a spot in the league, I think that attitude
- 21:22Speaker 1: probably goes to a punter. For me, I want to
- 21:24Speaker 1: pull balls out there, I want to prove and I'll
- 21:28Speaker 1: take the risk of being cut, so I would go kicker.
- 21:31Speaker 1: But my life has not been about finding what's consistent.
- 21:34Speaker 1: My life's about being trying to be dynamic and then
- 21:36Speaker 1: seeing what happens and.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Hopefully not getting cut.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the story of my life. Yeah, what would
- 21:41Speaker 1: you rather do?
- 21:41Speaker 4: I'd probably rather punt, just because I think that'd be
- 21:44Speaker 4: such a great lifestyle, Like you could do ten fifteen
- 21:46Speaker 4: years be chilling punting. All practice we've been to, some
- 21:49Speaker 4: of the practices, the punters are just like off to
- 21:51Speaker 4: the side, just hanging out, throwing balls around, kicking balls.
- 21:54Speaker 1: What about the fact that the punter has to hold
- 21:56Speaker 1: a lot.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Though, Yeah, I'd be like, can back quarterback.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Do better the ball?
- 22:01Speaker 4: Yeah, he's more comfortable with football. But that's a good point.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Nobody ever talks about the holder enough.
- 22:06Speaker 1: The only time the holder gets talked about is it
- 22:08Speaker 1: when he screws up.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Yeah, but I can hold. Let's do it, man, And
- 22:12Speaker 4: then I would I would just yell fire, fire and
- 22:14Speaker 4: roll out and do a two point play every.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Time too, Like you've done this four times in a row.
- 22:18Speaker 1: He's cut. Yeah, Okay, I think I'd have a problem
- 22:23Speaker 1: being a punter because no one wants to see me
- 22:27Speaker 1: play ever.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yeah, because you only come out in that situation, will
- 22:29Speaker 3: only come out.
- 22:31Speaker 4: But man, when they get fired up, they're so funny too.
- 22:33Speaker 4: They like jump up and down and start flexing.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I think it would be cool too to fake a
- 22:38Speaker 3: fake a hit, you know, like roughing the kicker. I
- 22:42Speaker 3: think that's kind of cool, like when just they just
- 22:44Speaker 3: tap you a little bit.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Take it. You do leave yourself very vulnerable. Let that
- 22:49Speaker 1: leg up there. I think the punter is probably a
- 22:52Speaker 1: better overall job, life expectancy, yeah, safe quality of life
- 22:56Speaker 1: and not going freaking crazy.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And you've played in the NFL. Yeah, you don't lose your.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Job as easy. I think that's a big part, Brandon.
- 23:02Speaker 1: What would you rather do?
- 23:03Speaker 6: I'm going to say I want to punt for the
- 23:04Speaker 6: Colts this season because they've only punted like one once
- 23:09Speaker 6: or twice.
- 23:10Speaker 3: So you you don't want to play really?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah? I thought he's like, I'm a big McAfee guys. Yeah, okay,
- 23:19Speaker 1: next up?
- 23:20Speaker 3: All right, the last one. Would you rather be an
- 23:22Speaker 3: offensive coordinator or a defensive coordinator?
- 23:24Speaker 1: For me, it's easily offense because I play fancy football,
- 23:30Speaker 1: so I only pay attention to the.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Offense only year.
- 23:32Speaker 6: That's a good point.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, So that it just seems more fun and it's
- 23:37Speaker 1: an offensive game now. Yeah, so I think you want
- 23:40Speaker 1: to be a head coach It's probably not always because
- 23:42Speaker 1: a lot of the culture defensive guys get the job.
- 23:44Speaker 1: But you want to be a head coach, be freaking
- 23:46Speaker 1: great as an offensive mind. So I'd go offense there. Yeah,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'd probably do say glamorous too. It just be more fun.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Like defense is tough, especially nowadays. My shoulders an't broad
- 23:55Speaker 1: enough to be a defensive coordinator. You can be kind
- 23:57Speaker 1: of squarely and be an offensive coordinator. You can be
- 23:59Speaker 1: like Mike Daniel. He ain't a defensive coordinator. No, it
- 24:03Speaker 1: doesn't matter how much he studied. He ain't gonna be
- 24:04Speaker 1: a defensive coordinator. Like you got to be like a
- 24:06Speaker 1: big dude to be a defensive coordinator, but the defensive players.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Aren't gonna trust you.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Like a Robert Sola. Yeah, like he looks like he
- 24:12Speaker 4: could go out there and play defense right now.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, like a Vrabel.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he doesn't look like he can play right now, Vrabel.
- 24:18Speaker 1: But he gets out in practice right now. Yeah, dude, Brandon,
- 24:21Speaker 1: would you rather be look at me offense?
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, look at you? Yeah, fresh shircut today?
- 24:25Speaker 6: Hey, thanks man, Thanks Eddie.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I noticed when he walked in.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Eddie brought it up.
- 24:30Speaker 3: You know what I tell my kids when they asked
- 24:31Speaker 3: me these questions, I don't know.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Leave me alone. We do ten minutes on it. Okay,
- 24:42Speaker 1: you wanna talk about signs of games?
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I've just been noticing people. I mean they've been
- 24:46Speaker 3: doing it for years. But like I want to ask
- 24:47Speaker 3: you guys, like, have you ever taken a sign to
- 24:50Speaker 3: a game? Because mad respect to the people that wake
- 24:53Speaker 3: up get tickets to the game and be like, you
- 24:55Speaker 3: know what, I'm gonna get the poster board. I'm gonna
- 24:57Speaker 3: think of something funnier to ride on it, and I'm
- 24:59Speaker 3: want to take it to the a ticket with you
- 25:01Speaker 3: everywhere you go up.
- 25:03Speaker 1: You can't hold it up the whole game either, because
- 25:05Speaker 1: one your arms get tired. But to it, it's a
- 25:06Speaker 1: noise the people around you, they can't see. Yeah. No,
- 25:09Speaker 1: I've never taken a sign to a game ever. I
- 25:11Speaker 1: feel like you would for an Arkansas game or something. No,
- 25:15Speaker 1: do you ever think about no, not a sign? I
- 25:19Speaker 1: thought about painting myself a couple of times and just
- 25:22Speaker 1: decided to wait, wait.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Wait, wait what age?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Yeah? This is important? College?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Okay?
- 25:27Speaker 3: This is for the Notre Dame game.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Ye didn't college? Okay? Good?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Just making is this around the time you storm the field.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but I.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Didn't do it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: There are a couple of times where I was like,
- 25:39Speaker 1: I should paint myself all black, like your whole box stop.
- 25:45Speaker 3: That's tough though, right, Like, if you're a Purdue fan
- 25:47Speaker 3: like I guess you've got gold, you better.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Yeah, if you and your buddy are okay, one it
- 25:53Speaker 1: was gonna be gold, one was gonna be black. No, no,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you both need to be happy.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Half.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna we'll flip the coin. What it was his
- 26:03Speaker 1: gold when it was black. That's a tense coin flip.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Oh, you know what, I'm not going to the game.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Guy. How much paint do you have to like buy
- 26:12Speaker 3: to cover yourself with paint? Like, that's a just that's
- 26:15Speaker 3: an investment.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 26:16Speaker 4: You see the Cardinals guy last week, he literally looked
- 26:19Speaker 4: like a Cardinal Arizona in the stands.
- 26:22Speaker 6: You didn't see him on his face. He literally like
- 26:25Speaker 6: painted a beak on swear.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Those guys don't like get on TV or tagged. It's
- 26:30Speaker 1: something I bet their day's run all that work. I
- 26:34Speaker 1: think I would more likely take a sign to a
- 26:37Speaker 1: wrestling event than I would a football game.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Yeah, they're more accepted.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I haven't, but I think that would be Grace, my
- 26:47Speaker 1: sister in law took a sign and got a college
- 26:49Speaker 1: game day.
- 26:50Speaker 3: No way, that's cool.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I need to ask Kaitlin what the sign said
- 26:54Speaker 1: because it was hilarious. I don't want to mess it up. Hey,
- 26:58Speaker 1: we're doing twenty five sols and we're talking about signs
- 27:01Speaker 1: in football games. Can you tell me or you can
- 27:03Speaker 1: even text it the sign? What was the sign that
- 27:05Speaker 1: Grace had and when you got in college game day?
- 27:08Speaker 1: Because I don't want to mess it up because it
- 27:09Speaker 1: was so funny. All right, thank you.
- 27:11Speaker 6: I do like the signs that like troll other teams,
- 27:15Speaker 6: you know, like they do on college game day, you know,
- 27:17Speaker 6: if it's clever and witty. But I wouldn't bring one.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I like the ones that are like if it's on CBS,
- 27:24Speaker 3: they do like CVS and they do like can here
- 27:29Speaker 3: you get in to beat.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I'll jump in and help you out. I didn't know
- 27:35Speaker 1: where you were going. That's how you struggling.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, those are cool NFL fans. What's your favorite touchdown?

- 27:44Speaker 1: What's the next touchdown? Because with Draft King Sports Book

- 29:20Speaker 1: Okay, I have a little game and I'll wait for
- 29:23Speaker 1: a Caitlin's textback. We're gonna do big take er big fake.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:27Speaker 1: So people swear by things like icing the kicker or
- 29:32Speaker 1: the hot hand. Data says either true or false. Okay,
- 29:38Speaker 1: so I am going to throw a claim out and
- 29:41Speaker 1: you decide I wrote big take er, big fake. That's
- 29:46Speaker 1: kind of stupid. Now I'll read it back.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Hot no, No.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Hot hand is one of the things that means like
- 29:51Speaker 1: somebody's really performing well at the time, so keep giving
- 29:53Speaker 1: them the ball.
- 29:54Speaker 4: So like more of a true or false.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, let's just do that.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Stupid. It's like the signs sometimes. Yeah, just don't write
- 29:59Speaker 3: some I didn't.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Work this one out. I can't beat se your cheese man, Okay,
- 30:05Speaker 1: I sing the kicker, I sing the kicker. Do you
- 30:08Speaker 1: think that's a true? Do you think it works or
- 30:11Speaker 1: data has proven that it doesn't really work? Think about it, Kevin, Yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: I don't. I think dad will show that it has
- 30:19Speaker 1: not worked. Brandon, I'm gonna say it hasn't worked either.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Eddie, I'm gonna say data has shown that it has
- 30:26Speaker 3: not worked, but I think it does work.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Well. No, No, but data is showing I'm gonna disagree
- 30:30Speaker 1: with you. I promise the world's flat. Yeah, even though
- 30:33Speaker 1: they have proven it.
- 30:34Speaker 3: The world is for sure flat. No, it doesn't work.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Timeouts. Oh you want to hear the sign that Chris did?
- 30:40Speaker 3: Yes, yes you got it.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was quick right on TV. She's holding up
- 30:44Speaker 1: a sign. This is I skipped my morning poop for this.
- 30:49Speaker 3: WHOA for sure? They were like, I got a sign
- 30:52Speaker 3: for you director.
- 30:54Speaker 1: And she's like small pretty athletics. Oh yeah, I skip
- 30:59Speaker 1: my morning poop for the and she's right on game
- 31:01Speaker 1: day whole. It was at Oklahoma State, I don't know,
- 31:05Speaker 1: six seven years ago.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Probably do you see it?
- 31:07Speaker 6: No, I saw something similar a couple a couple of
- 31:10Speaker 6: weeks ago.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I don't know if they stole it from Grace. Yeah, okay,
- 31:14Speaker 1: so icing the kicker timeouts mostly don't change make rates,
- 31:20Speaker 1: pressure and kick distance are the real drivers. If anything,
- 31:26Speaker 1: it ices the audience. It does like stupid timeouts off. Yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 1: so no, they have they have determined that icing the
- 31:33Speaker 1: kicker really does not affect the kicker.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Would you do that? If you're a head coach, you
- 31:36Speaker 4: think would you?
- 31:37Speaker 1: I think my thing would be faking icing the kicker
- 31:40Speaker 1: like everybody knows it's going to come, and I would
- 31:42Speaker 1: have my defense out there going, you know, we're going
- 31:45Speaker 1: to call time out anyway. You know we're going to
- 31:46Speaker 1: call time out anyway, just saying crap like that and
- 31:49Speaker 1: then not call timeout. Would you run up to the
- 31:52Speaker 1: ref and you because then they might call time out
- 31:56Speaker 1: thinking your hands were closer. Yeah, so I think I
- 32:00Speaker 1: would do the reverse ice I do the heat. Oh,
- 32:04Speaker 1: but I would definitely. I would definitely tell my team
- 32:06Speaker 1: go out there and act like you know we're about
- 32:08Speaker 1: to call time out, Like you guys that are playing
- 32:09Speaker 1: linebacker or rushing, like you'll have to get down. Just
- 32:12Speaker 1: be like lollygag and be like we're going to call
- 32:14Speaker 1: time out.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Everybody, chill, We're calling time out.
- 32:17Speaker 1: We're calling time out for sure, for sure, and then don't.
- 32:20Speaker 3: That's so wow.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Okay, next up the hot hand in basketball, if somebody's
- 32:26Speaker 1: on fire, get on the ball because they're they're gonna
- 32:29Speaker 1: stay hot, easy breezing Eddie. That's true, Kevin, Yeah, that's true.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I've seen it so many times, Brandon, based on my favorite.
- 32:40Speaker 6: Game in NBA Jam, he's on fire. It's definitely true. Well,
- 32:44Speaker 6: the ball is actually on fire. On that he's heating up.
- 32:47Speaker 1: He's on fire. For example, a player hits three in
- 32:51Speaker 1: a row. That did you keep giving the ball because
- 32:54Speaker 1: the odds are is going to hit another? Right? That's
- 32:58Speaker 1: not true.
- 32:59Speaker 3: What do you talk about?
- 33:00Speaker 6: I don't believe it.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Streaks look real, but they're often completely random, and because
- 33:05Speaker 1: somebody's made shots before, it doesn't mean they're going to
- 33:07Speaker 1: make the next shot.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess data. Okay, I didn't make this up.
- 33:13Speaker 4: I know they ever watched Steph Curry before.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I think he's just good. I don't think it's even
- 33:17Speaker 1: a streak.
- 33:17Speaker 4: He's an out liar.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, But the same thing is that that's what they're
- 33:20Speaker 1: saying with players too, Like for the most part, there's
- 33:23Speaker 1: also confidence where you're just a little more confident. Yeah,
- 33:26Speaker 1: and that affects the game. But they say, no, the
- 33:29Speaker 1: clutch gene. Does the clutch gene exist?
- 33:33Speaker 3: That's like passing on with like to your children, that
- 33:36Speaker 3: your clutch.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Well, it's not really a genetic passing to the child,
- 33:39Speaker 1: but like you have it, you are just quality. When
- 33:43Speaker 1: the pressure's on, you are better.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Okay, wait, think I definitely know how that one.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Uh, are you writing it down?
- 33:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm in, I'm in. I'm lucked in Kevin, Yeah,
- 33:54Speaker 4: I watched it for twenty years. It absolutely exists. Tom
- 33:58Speaker 4: Brady Brandon growing.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Up as a big fan of Robert or and that
- 34:03Speaker 6: dude came in clutch every single time.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Eddie. Yes, I don't have an example, but yes it exists.
- 34:09Speaker 1: I think it's interesting both of you because even with
- 34:12Speaker 1: every single time, you just remember the times it did work.
- 34:16Speaker 3: That's true, Oh, because there were definitely times that it didn't. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 3: there are definitely has when miss shots.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Yeah, like big big shot Rob didn't make every shot,
- 34:23Speaker 1: but the ones he did were so famous. Right, And
- 34:26Speaker 1: with Tom Brady, it wasn't just Tom, it was offensive coordinator.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It was yeah, he's making plays. So they say some
- 34:32Speaker 1: players do perform well late, but year to year at
- 34:35Speaker 1: wobbles and data has shown that these players that are
- 34:38Speaker 1: are making big plays, it's really just depending on that
- 34:44Speaker 1: exact situation, because some years those players do it really
- 34:47Speaker 1: well and the next year they don't at all.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Oh okay, but we remember the ones when they do.
- 34:52Speaker 1: And we assign that to them. Because let's say Robert
- 34:55Speaker 1: Dory makes three three pointers into three different games and
- 34:59Speaker 1: wins three games, but he ma seven the next year,
- 35:00Speaker 1: He's still pick shot Rob because we don't remember the
- 35:02Speaker 1: ones he misses.
- 35:02Speaker 6: That's a good point.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Well, I think even Kobe was like that, we know
- 35:05Speaker 4: Kobe for all the big shots and being clutched, but like,
- 35:07Speaker 4: if you look at the numbers, I'm pretty sure they're
- 35:09Speaker 4: pretty bad.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Defense wins championships. That's tough.
- 35:15Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like and I think there.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Are also examples of people that break the general rule.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I think Tom Brady, even Joe Burrow. I remember the
- 35:24Speaker 1: story of him playing high school basketball and he was
- 35:27Speaker 1: like state championship game and they put a heart monitor
- 35:30Speaker 1: on him and he had to make free throws to
- 35:31Speaker 1: win the game, and his heart never went up. Wow.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Even with the like, I think there are people that
- 35:36Speaker 1: are wired different. It doesn't always mean they're gonna perform different,
- 35:38Speaker 1: but if you can keep your pulse down, you can
- 35:40Speaker 1: think a lot clearer. Yeah, for sure, and so some
- 35:42Speaker 1: people there are those people that are physiologically different. But
- 35:47Speaker 1: this is general data, so it doesn't say that everybody's
- 35:49Speaker 1: not that like a Tom Brady. But generally speaking, the
- 35:53Speaker 1: clutch gene of people who do perform, they find that
- 35:55Speaker 1: it's different year to year.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Did you see the heart rate on the Ryder Cup players.
- 36:00Speaker 3: They did that one of the days where they were,
- 36:02Speaker 3: you know, right before they would hit the drive or whatever,
- 36:03Speaker 3: they see the hard right go up. Oh yeah, right
- 36:06Speaker 3: before they would swing.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Mine would be like every freaking shot, I know this
- 36:10Speaker 1: is going to the woods. Yea or Eddie Yellen water
- 36:15Speaker 1: Casey didn't see it. Defense went championships. I mean I'm ready, yeah,
- 36:20Speaker 1: I man, yeah, yeah, Brandon, I.
- 36:25Speaker 6: Want to say yes, but I'm gonna say no.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with the trend.
- 36:28Speaker 1: No. So here's what they say. Yeah, Defense won championship,
- 36:31Speaker 1: but yeah, but so does the offense. So it's just halfway.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Like there are the occasional team that are so dominated
- 36:35Speaker 1: by one side of the ball, and you can go
- 36:37Speaker 1: like Baltimore Ravens defense, but there are also offensive teams
- 36:39Speaker 1: that have won with a great offense and at subpar defense,
- 36:45Speaker 1: Like I think like Kurt Warner Rams, they're a pretty
- 36:48Speaker 1: good defense. But I don't think it was one of
- 36:50Speaker 1: the best in the NFL. I could be wrong about that.
- 36:52Speaker 3: It was the greatest show on turf.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Okay, but the Eagles that beat the Patriots in the
- 36:57Speaker 4: Super Bowl, Brady threw five hunyards.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Generally speaking, elite teams need both top tier offense and defense,
- 37:06Speaker 1: or top tier one and mid other to win a
- 37:09Speaker 1: championship in the modern NBA and NFL. Wow.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it makes sense. That is so straightforward,
- 37:16Speaker 3: like that does not having any fun with.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Us data, doesn't dream. They don't have a ound that
- 37:20Speaker 1: I didn't want to play with their feelings. Oh let
- 37:22Speaker 1: me do one more. Momentum is real and last in
- 37:27Speaker 1: the next week.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Oh next week, I'm in.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Kevin, Yes, Brandon.
- 37:41Speaker 6: I can't remember if it was you and Castle talking
- 37:44Speaker 6: about this, but somebody had a good point and I'm
- 37:46Speaker 6: gonna say no.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Was the point.
- 37:51Speaker 3: I can't remember.
- 37:52Speaker 6: I couldn't tell you no, No, It was the point
- 37:54Speaker 6: of saying there was a question saying like does momentum help?
- 37:58Speaker 6: Is momentum even real? And I think Castle said what
- 38:02Speaker 6: you just said about like Joe Burrow. You know, when
- 38:05Speaker 6: when you're an even kill person and you're not affected
- 38:08Speaker 6: by any of that, you can you can create opportunities
- 38:13Speaker 6: when things are down, when things are up, anytime.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Momentum on a drive, yes, going from week to week
- 38:20Speaker 3: and no, So I'm just going to just say no,
- 38:22Speaker 3: it's not real.
- 38:22Speaker 1: In game swings happen, but week to week momentum fades
- 38:25Speaker 1: once injuries, matchups and travel enter there. You go like
- 38:28Speaker 1: outside forces enter internal, which is why it can more
- 38:33Speaker 1: so be per game, like you'll have confidence you get
- 38:36Speaker 1: pumped out by the crowd than the opposite where momentum
- 38:39Speaker 1: continues week to week to week because of things that
- 38:42Speaker 1: don't actually happen in the game.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, I know that's interesting.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I thought that was interesting.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Data is interesting because man, you can watch a game
- 38:50Speaker 3: and you think like you see it and you can
- 38:52Speaker 3: summarize it one way just by how you watched it,
- 38:55Speaker 3: but then you look at the data and you're like, wow,
- 38:56Speaker 3: they were not a lot of completions.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Hey, speaking of golf, did you play golf?
- 39:01Speaker 3: I did? I did. I went by myself, got teamed
- 39:04Speaker 3: up with a couple of random people.
- 39:07Speaker 6: Man, it was.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Interesting you played. I haven't played at all.
- 39:09Speaker 1: That was the first time I played since our thing,
- 39:11Speaker 1: and you just were like, I'm just gonna go play.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Had time. Usually asked my wife like, what are we
- 39:15Speaker 3: doing today? She's like nothing on the calendar today. Can't
- 39:17Speaker 3: call me and be like you want to play golf?
- 39:18Speaker 3: You weren't here. I would have you weren't here, But
- 39:21Speaker 3: so I get teamed up. I usually show up and
- 39:23Speaker 3: I'm like, hey, you have room for a walker, and
- 39:25Speaker 3: they go, oh, probably not, but I put your name
- 39:27Speaker 3: on the list and they finally called my name, like
- 39:29Speaker 3: thirty minutes later. I get teamed up with three guys.
- 39:32Speaker 3: I'm walking cause I like to extract. I got a
- 39:34Speaker 3: push cart and then this one guy shows up in
- 39:37Speaker 3: a cart by himself, and then another walker, and then
- 39:41Speaker 3: the walker goes you might if I ride with you?
- 39:44Speaker 3: Talking to the guy in the cart, and the guy
- 39:46Speaker 3: in the cart's like sure, man, no problem, throw your
- 39:48Speaker 3: bags in the cart. The guy throws his bags on
- 39:50Speaker 3: the cart, his bag in the cart, reaches into his bag,
- 39:54Speaker 3: gets a bluetooth speaker, screws it to the side of
- 39:57Speaker 3: the golf cart, starts blaring music. Never asked the guy once,
- 40:02Speaker 3: like hey, you mind? Have I playing music? He just
- 40:05Speaker 3: like made himself at home and it was like Angels
- 40:08Speaker 3: from Montgomery or something, you know, like it starts blaring
- 40:11Speaker 3: it and I started thinking, like, who is this guy?
- 40:13Speaker 3: And I look at the other guy. I'm like, did
- 40:15Speaker 3: you even did he ask Hiven playing music? He's like, no, man,
- 40:17Speaker 3: I don't know this guy at all. Both are weird
- 40:19Speaker 3: because he's a walker. Who's I guess not one to
- 40:21Speaker 3: pay the cart fee? Yeah, yeah, because it's like it's
- 40:24Speaker 3: much cheaper than.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I ride with you. Were you already passed the first hole?
- 40:28Speaker 3: No, we weren't. Hadn't even teed off yet.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Oh that's weird because you would think you would do
- 40:31Speaker 1: it later so you don't get seen by the pro shops.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Oh.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Man, yeah, that seems like a weird guy.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't have the ball to do that. No, I
- 40:39Speaker 1: and a little bit I like respect it. I don't
- 40:41Speaker 1: respect it because you can't do that, but a little
- 40:43Speaker 1: bit I respect just to the goll to do that.
- 40:45Speaker 3: And the guy didn't say anything the whole round. I'm
- 40:49Speaker 3: saying he probably said a total of five words the
- 40:51Speaker 3: entire round. That's weird. It was busy. Did you enjoyed
- 40:54Speaker 3: that experience?
- 40:55Speaker 1: No?
- 40:56Speaker 3: No, And I love to play golf by myself. I
- 40:58Speaker 3: don't mind getting paid it up with random people. I
- 41:01Speaker 3: usually just make friends with them and talk about random
- 41:03Speaker 3: things with them. This one was weird.
- 41:05Speaker 1: The longer I don't play golf, the more I don't
- 41:08Speaker 1: want to play golf, which doesn't sound like it would
- 41:12Speaker 1: be right because you know, the longer you don't eat,
- 41:14Speaker 1: you want to eat more. Yeah, the longer you don't.
- 41:16Speaker 1: But when I don't play golf for a long time,
- 41:18Speaker 1: I'm like, well, if I start back, i'll be pretty bad.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I haven't played in two months, and I know it's
- 41:23Speaker 1: gonna be brutal the first time I go out there
- 41:25Speaker 1: or the second time I go out there. So if
- 41:26Speaker 1: it's like borderline ever, I'm like, I haven't played in
- 41:28Speaker 1: a while, I'm just not gonna play, and then it's
- 41:30Speaker 1: just worse and worse. So I don't want to play.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Then it gets winter and I'm like, you know, I'm
- 41:33Speaker 1: say all the winter out is, why would I even
- 41:35Speaker 1: go and play when it's cold, when I'm gonna suck? Yeah.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Well, it is one of those sports though, where you
- 41:39Speaker 4: feel like if you're gonna play, you gotta play like yeah.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Consistently, especially if you're gonna hold yourself accountable.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 4: Like, if you're just going out to I don't know
- 41:46Speaker 4: have fun. I mean, at least sometimes I'll just go
- 41:48Speaker 4: out and have a few beers. Obviously, Bobby, you don't
- 41:50Speaker 4: do that.
- 41:51Speaker 1: So I've never went to play golf and had fun
- 41:54Speaker 1: just seeing what happened. What do you mean, Like, I
- 41:58Speaker 1: never think I'm just gonna go play golf and hit
- 42:00Speaker 1: some balls and I just have fun regardless.
- 42:02Speaker 3: You're trying to shoot well every time every time. Yeah.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but if I'm playing terrible, I don't have fun.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I've never had fun while playing bad. I've had fun
- 42:13Speaker 1: while playing mid or below mid if it's like an
- 42:16Speaker 1: awesome group and they're also playing below mid. Because if
- 42:19Speaker 1: you're playing with your group, if you're playing with your
- 42:22Speaker 1: group and like one or two of them are killing it,
- 42:24Speaker 1: like your group of people like, you know, and you're sucking,
- 42:27Speaker 1: and then they give you pointers. It's we don't do
- 42:31Speaker 1: that anymore, Like we canceled that years ago because we
- 42:33Speaker 1: all suck. So it's like, why am I learning from you?
- 42:35Speaker 3: Yeah, the bad shot, You just put your head down,
- 42:37Speaker 3: just don't say anything.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And the only thing worse than playing bad with your
- 42:40Speaker 1: people is playing bad with people that you don't know.
- 42:44Speaker 1: If it's like, oh, we've never played before, but we
- 42:46Speaker 1: know each other, and you're like, I promise I'm better
- 42:49Speaker 1: than this, and you really are, that's a miserable experience.
- 42:52Speaker 3: I have another question for you with this guy kind
- 42:54Speaker 3: of just thought about it. So every time he hit
- 42:56Speaker 3: a good shot, I'd be like, good shot, dude. Nothing
- 43:00Speaker 3: ever responded when people say good shot. And maybe Kevin
- 43:04Speaker 3: maybe don't have any shots.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Don't take you out of this.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Because I feel like if you hit a good shot,
- 43:11Speaker 3: it's a big deal and everybody'd be like a good shot.
- 43:13Speaker 3: You'd be like, wow, thank you.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But for us that was kind of a strength, right right.
- 43:20Speaker 1: What he's saying is you're the worst golfer by far,
- 43:22Speaker 1: and you hit a good shot, we would say good shot. Copper.
- 43:30Speaker 4: Dang dude, we got go golfing again.
- 43:31Speaker 1: And so do you say thank you when people say
- 43:40Speaker 1: a good shot?
- 43:41Speaker 3: Yes, like I do. This guy didn't say crap.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Sounds like he was just socially awkward anyway.
- 43:48Speaker 3: I guess that's one way of putting it. Yeah, the
- 43:51Speaker 3: first thing I thought, I was.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Like, wow, like he's a dick, Like some people are
- 43:55Speaker 1: just dicks. But I would say that there are some
- 43:59Speaker 1: people who don't. I not being a dick on purpose
- 44:01Speaker 1: because I really yeah, of course, they just don't give
- 44:05Speaker 1: and receive social cues the same.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Yeah, And I don't know.
- 44:07Speaker 1: This guy could have been a dick, but I feel
- 44:09Speaker 1: like this is not really a dick thing. It's just
- 44:10Speaker 1: somebody who doesn't understand socially what is welcomed or accepted,
- 44:15Speaker 1: so he does his own thing thinking it's normal.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Wow, like in his mind that I don't think he
- 44:20Speaker 4: thought he was doing anything weird.
- 44:21Speaker 1: I don't think he turned heel on the golf course
- 44:23Speaker 1: and he's just gonna be out there to piss everybody off.
- 44:25Speaker 3: But I feel like he's he was an older dude,
- 44:27Speaker 3: and I feel like older people you know better, like
- 44:30Speaker 3: you've lived long enough to know what annoys people or
- 44:33Speaker 3: what isn't.
- 44:34Speaker 4: That might be it, though he might be so old
- 44:36Speaker 4: that he's like, I don't give an f anymore.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Or maybe he can't hear it all so angel from
- 44:40Speaker 1: my God. It was so loud, just he thought only
- 44:43Speaker 1: he could hear it on the side of the golf cart.

- 46:25Speaker 1: There was a clip and I saw this a couple
- 46:27Speaker 1: of days ago. It was Florida A and M. And
- 46:30Speaker 1: he's the band announcer, so he does the PA and
- 46:33Speaker 1: he's like okay, and they were the other team was
- 46:37Speaker 1: another it was like North Carolina A and N. Well,
- 46:41Speaker 1: let's find that the other team, longtime band announcer for
- 46:44Speaker 1: Florida A and M Joe Boulard, is under fire for
- 46:46Speaker 1: what he said about the opposing team's plus sized dance team,
- 46:49Speaker 1: the Honeybees.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Alabama State.
- 46:51Speaker 1: That's what it is, Alabama State.
- 46:52Speaker 3: What did you say?
- 46:53Speaker 1: Well, so come and you even here in the crowd,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I got it's all on TikTok. Then go, oh, okay,
- 47:00Speaker 1: what'd you play the audio? Mike?
- 47:01Speaker 3: I'm glad to them. They're now the new face. Come on, dude,
- 47:19Speaker 3: A couple of things. I didn't know they had.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Quote plus sized dance team.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Me neither.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Oh are they purposely plus size? They don't know their.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Intention on their size, but they call themselves that. Every
- 47:32Speaker 1: time I've seen this story described, if it's either by
- 47:34Speaker 1: people talking about it or in this story, it says,
- 47:36Speaker 1: quote Alabama States plus sized dance team. And so they
- 47:41Speaker 1: do their thing, and then he says this, and then
- 47:44Speaker 1: I saw people demanding he'd be fired. And look, I
- 47:47Speaker 1: don't think anybody should be fire for every stupid thing
- 47:49Speaker 1: that they do. I think this is a probably stupid
- 47:50Speaker 1: thing to say. He probably thought it was going to
- 47:53Speaker 1: be welcome with more laughs than groans.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you're trying to be funny.
- 47:56Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, man, do you really think people
- 47:58Speaker 3: are gonna laugh at that? There's no way people going.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Maybe a couple of people would be like that. Buddy.
- 48:04Speaker 4: I'm seeing picture of the guy, and he didn't get here.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Last I saw, he didn't get fired.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I don't think he should. He come out apologized. Huh.
- 48:11Speaker 4: He did come out and apologize and all that.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I'm okay with that because I think you can apologize
- 48:14Speaker 1: for things that I've learned this, but our culture just
- 48:16Speaker 1: wants to fire people immediately. I think he'd been there forever.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I don't support what he said. I can't believe he
- 48:23Speaker 1: said it, But I also don't think he should be fired.
- 48:25Speaker 1: If he's doing this like three weeks in a row, okay,
- 48:27Speaker 1: and he's always just like over the line right up there,
- 48:31Speaker 1: heckling the tea, then then maybe we talk. But the
- 48:36Speaker 1: other team was demanding he'd be fired. I don't like
- 48:39Speaker 1: the comment. For the record, I wouldn't have said that.
- 48:43Speaker 1: I think it was wrong and over the line. I
- 48:44Speaker 1: just want to make sure that that's said loud and clear,
- 48:47Speaker 1: but I.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Don't think he should be fired.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Tyreek Hill is going to be out.
- 48:51Speaker 3: Oh that was bad.
- 48:52Speaker 1: It well, it just was like he heard his leg
- 48:54Speaker 1: and they're like, was his knee And then it turns
- 48:55Speaker 1: out it was more than that. There was some ligament.
- 48:57Speaker 1: And also when you depend on speed, and also when
- 49:00Speaker 1: you're getting older and you depend on speed and your
- 49:02Speaker 1: speed is actually decreasing a bit, and then this happens,
- 49:05Speaker 1: like this is probably the end for him, except for
- 49:08Speaker 1: shell of that appears one more time, yes, and is
- 49:10Speaker 1: never quite what he used to be and makes one
- 49:13Speaker 1: more run except run slower.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Yeah. That's got to be tough when you're so fast
- 49:18Speaker 3: like that.
- 49:18Speaker 4: And then even age is probably so tough on you, Yeah,
- 49:21Speaker 4: because he was already getting up there, and he's.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Got eighty four kids, so he's got to carry all them's.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and three million dollars and legal fees to pay them.
- 49:28Speaker 4: Is that he paid like what was it like three
- 49:31Speaker 4: hundred thousand a month or something for the divorce is
- 49:34Speaker 4: going through right now.
- 49:36Speaker 1: If you saw the horrific leg injury Tyreek Hill suffered
- 49:38Speaker 1: during the Monday night football game between the Dolphins and Jets,
- 49:41Speaker 1: he is out for the year. The good news is
- 49:42Speaker 1: his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says the damage was fixed in
- 49:44Speaker 1: one operation and the goal is to have Hill ready
- 49:47Speaker 1: for the start of next year. The injury happened in
- 49:49Speaker 1: the third quarter and they had listed all and it's
- 49:52Speaker 1: a multiple ligaments that were torn. Yeah, right, But whenever
- 49:57Speaker 1: your thing is fast ligaments and you're getting all and
- 50:00Speaker 1: your ligaments are torn, I can't ever see him coming
- 50:02Speaker 1: back and being that dude. He's not a big guy. Yeah,
- 50:05Speaker 1: he's a fast guy. So it's also not like he
- 50:09Speaker 1: can just change his game and now be a possession receiver.
- 50:11Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, he definitely won't be the same.
- 50:13Speaker 1: That's from CBS Sports. TOOB will stream the Thanksgiving Day
- 50:17Speaker 1: NFL game, So those sim will cast it on Thanksgiving.
- 50:21Speaker 1: It's not Toob's first, it's their second. They stream the
- 50:24Speaker 1: Super Bowl and may watch to be. It's a free
- 50:27Speaker 1: streaming service.
- 50:28Speaker 3: It's an app I see on my TV. I've never
- 50:30Speaker 3: clicked on it though, like a lot of tow b
- 50:31Speaker 3: you do.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Yeah. I know somebody that works at TUB and they
- 50:36Speaker 1: are an executive at a network and they're like, I've
- 50:38Speaker 1: now taken over to b OH, and that to me
- 50:40Speaker 1: it's like a teletubby. Yeah, oh that's cute. Yeah, yes,
- 50:44Speaker 1: but it's like an old movie from the two thousands.
- 50:46Speaker 4: I can't find I go on tub and can I
- 50:48Speaker 4: can watch it?
- 50:49Speaker 3: There is?
- 50:50Speaker 1: It kind of is starting to pop a little bit.
- 50:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:52Speaker 1: They even have like original stuff too, Like some of
- 50:54Speaker 1: the movies they make are really ridiculous, but that's kind
- 50:56Speaker 1: of what they're known for. Does to BE have any
- 50:58Speaker 1: original shows that I've watched? Shows?
- 51:01Speaker 6: None come to mind.
- 51:01Speaker 3: I've only seen movies on there.
- 51:04Speaker 6: I have a I have a song in a to
- 51:06Speaker 6: Be to B movie coming out. It's called Sidelined to Intercepted.
- 51:12Speaker 1: What is it?
- 51:13Speaker 3: A football movie?
- 51:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 51:15Speaker 3: How'd a song go?
- 51:16Speaker 6: It's a they're doing like a an outdoor country scene,
- 51:20Speaker 6: like uh you know, tailgates, beers and all that stuff,
- 51:23Speaker 6: and the song is like, it's a country song.
- 51:26Speaker 1: You just give us a little bit.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Do you sing it? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah, it's like, uh, man,
- 51:31Speaker 6: how's it go?
- 51:32Speaker 3: I mean you probably write so many songs.
- 51:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I have to think of it, but it's like
- 51:36Speaker 6: who you never think of a country song getting placed
- 51:39Speaker 6: in movies or shows, But it's happening more more and
- 51:42Speaker 6: more now, so you don't remember it.
- 51:45Speaker 1: To the originals, it's something like you know what easy.
- 51:50Speaker 6: Easy, like Sunday morning.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Last night as a linel thing like I've heard that song.
- 51:55Speaker 1: So I did Lionel Richie and hosted a hour and
- 51:59Speaker 1: a half Q and A with him, and they were
- 52:01Speaker 1: sure to say he's not singing, there's no band, and
- 52:04Speaker 1: he's not gonna get up there and sing a cappella
- 52:06Speaker 1: for whatever. But the audience kept going.
- 52:09Speaker 3: Like sing sang it, oh, guys, sing it?
- 52:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and a little bit. I would like push him
- 52:17Speaker 1: to just do a little something and be like he's it,
- 52:21Speaker 1: and they'd be like whoo. They start screaming so loud
- 52:23Speaker 1: you couldn't even hear him anymore. So he'd stop.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Oh man, Like the crowd.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Didn't know how to actually encourage and then give him
- 52:30Speaker 1: positive without shutting him down, because he'd be like yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 1: I'd be like hello, is it me ego, and the
- 52:35Speaker 1: copy like what they're starts screaming over him.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and then he's like, okay, I'll stop.
- 52:40Speaker 1: That's enough, Or if you just be quiet because he's
- 52:43Speaker 1: not he's he's not singing loud because he doesn't have
- 52:47Speaker 1: a band. He's just singing while talking, he'd be like yeah,
- 52:49Speaker 1: and I was. I saw him in the studio and
- 52:51Speaker 1: I was like hello, and then I was like whoa.
- 52:56Speaker 1: So they wanted him to sing. They kept shutting him
- 52:57Speaker 1: down from singing because they would react like that.
- 53:00Speaker 6: Well, we heard the night before, the couple of nights
- 53:02Speaker 6: before when they did the New York City thing with
- 53:04Speaker 6: Robin Roberts.
- 53:05Speaker 1: They thought he was singing.
- 53:06Speaker 6: There were fans that were pissed and they left. So
- 53:10Speaker 6: me and Reed are outside of Paramount Theater before the show.
- 53:14Speaker 6: They have these big signs on the door. I took
- 53:16Speaker 6: a picture of one. It says, this is not a
- 53:18Speaker 6: musical performance. They're everywhere because people are having problems with this.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Yeah, when he went out at first, he walked up
- 53:25Speaker 1: and he goes, it's awkward for me because I don't
- 53:27Speaker 1: have a band here. So yeah, usually I just want
- 53:29Speaker 1: to come out and sing, but I can't tonight. I
- 53:31Speaker 1: can't sing tonight.
- 53:34Speaker 4: He made it very clear at this at the beginning
- 53:37Speaker 4: it ain't happening.
- 53:39Speaker 1: And then he would have like hopped into stuff. But
- 53:41Speaker 1: every time he did, the crowd would.
- 53:42Speaker 4: Yell over him, especially the one is in the front
- 53:45Speaker 4: were woud.
- 53:46Speaker 1: And he's not going to keep singing a cappella over
- 53:49Speaker 1: a crowd, so they were like working against themselves. Yeah
- 53:53Speaker 1: it's good though, but that Hello song his Lionel story
- 53:56Speaker 1: as he was in a studio and they were his
- 53:59Speaker 1: producer was real late and he heard somebody come in
- 54:04Speaker 1: and he goes. The guy goes, hello, and Lionel goes,
- 54:09Speaker 1: is it He didn't sing it exactly mel He goes,
- 54:10Speaker 1: is it me?
- 54:11Speaker 6: You're looking for no one?
- 54:12Speaker 1: And the guy goes, you should write that, and he goes,
- 54:15Speaker 1: I don't know that. Gud's sounds stupid, and he goes,
- 54:17Speaker 1: but I tried to write it, and then turns out Hello.
- 54:21Speaker 3: Not stupid.
- 54:22Speaker 1: That's pretty some great stories, yeah, yeah, No, he's like,
- 54:25Speaker 1: he's very he's a captivating, captivating way of speaking. Yeah yeah,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and I'd be like, I know, like I read most
- 54:33Speaker 1: of the book and so I knew a lot of
- 54:34Speaker 1: the answers, but I wanted to lead him to places.
- 54:37Speaker 1: And so let's say I wanted to lead him to
- 54:38Speaker 1: a story about the Jackson Five and Michael Jackson that
- 54:41Speaker 1: I wanted to hear specifically, so I hear what he's saying,
- 54:44Speaker 1: find the perfect pivot point to get from that question
- 54:46Speaker 1: to the next and ask what I would feel be
- 54:48Speaker 1: the perfect question without a lot of words, just so
- 54:50Speaker 1: I could set him up. And if I'm like you
- 54:53Speaker 1: talking about it, he'd be like, I'd be like, yeah,
- 54:54Speaker 1: so you talked about that with the Jackson vibe? What's that?
- 54:56Speaker 1: And he'd go like, I was eening dinner one night, right.
- 55:00Speaker 1: He would start like seven steps before he would get
- 55:03Speaker 1: to the point, so like he would hear a question
- 55:05Speaker 1: and then go reverse on even the answer and build
- 55:08Speaker 1: up to it, and in the middle he gives the
- 55:10Speaker 1: beginning of.
- 55:10Speaker 3: The answer and he yeahs, great, that's awesome.
- 55:13Speaker 4: Mister bones missed.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Is that what he called it?
- 55:16Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 55:16Speaker 1: Yeah. But and you guys saw him, you were back
- 55:19Speaker 1: safe to me, Yeah, he's the nicest guy.
- 55:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, talking to everybody the time.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like the kindest nice It's kind of hard
- 55:27Speaker 1: to get to him because he does have a lot
- 55:30Speaker 1: of people, multiple security guards. But once you're there, you're
- 55:34Speaker 1: with him. He had done Joe Rogan that day, and
- 55:37Speaker 1: he had done like a two and a half hour
- 55:38Speaker 1: interview on Joe Rogan and I don't like you tired,
- 55:41Speaker 1: and he's like tired, No, let's go baby, it's awesome
- 55:44Speaker 1: like in seventies. Yet, did Joe do that at his house? Yes? Yes,
- 55:49Speaker 1: I believe so, I know. They just they just built
- 55:51Speaker 1: a new studio at the race car track formula like
- 55:57Speaker 1: a Circuit of America's like a car condo. They all
- 56:00Speaker 1: it where they can do content and even podcast stuff there.
- 56:02Speaker 1: But I believe the other stuffs at his house.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Lionel said that all Joe's like guys that came out
- 56:07Speaker 1: to get them look like Joe, So.
- 56:08Speaker 3: I thought they were all jokes.
- 56:09Speaker 1: They were like they were like bald, muscular dudes.
- 56:12Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 56:13Speaker 1: And yes, how do we feel before we go? We
- 56:16Speaker 1: got a couple of things here. How do we feel
- 56:18Speaker 1: about Vandy at Alabama?
- 56:21Speaker 4: Don't love it? I'm just gonna say that right now, guys,
- 56:24Speaker 4: I love Vandy, love Diego, but man, Alabama is right now?
- 56:29Speaker 4: Is just crazy to say after Week one a few
- 56:31Speaker 4: weeks ago, Alabama probably looks like the best team. They're
- 56:34Speaker 4: playing so good, and they are out for blood against
- 56:39Speaker 4: Vandy this game especially, Yeah, I think they are out
- 56:41Speaker 4: to just the crowd's going to be crazy.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Which is weird to think Alabama's getting hyped up because
- 56:49Speaker 1: Vandy's coming to town. Yeah, they have a reason to
- 56:53Speaker 1: stick the old pedal to the metal and just run
- 56:54Speaker 1: it up on Bandy if possible, if Vanderbilt is able
- 56:57Speaker 1: to play, if they win this game, like they're in
- 56:59Speaker 1: the mix now for all of it.
- 57:01Speaker 4: Yeah, and I hope they do me too. For the record,
- 57:03Speaker 4: I hope Vandy wins me too.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I really do.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Loud and clear.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Loud and clear. But I think it's gonna be a bloodbath, Eddie.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Man, I want it to be close. I think Diego
- 57:12Speaker 3: Pavia is going to keep it close. I think he's
- 57:14Speaker 3: also on a mission to beat them again at home
- 57:18Speaker 3: in Alabama. I don't know, man, it's I want to
- 57:20Speaker 3: be a close game. So I'm gonna believe that it's
- 57:22Speaker 3: going to be a close game, more closer than we
- 57:24Speaker 3: think it is. What's the line at? Do you know?
- 57:25Speaker 4: Ten and a half?
- 57:26Speaker 1: Yeah? Ten ten and a half.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Yeah, closer than that, better than I thought. So you
- 57:29Speaker 3: would bet Vandy plus ten and a half?
- 57:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I bet. I stayed away from it because
- 57:35Speaker 1: I don't think they will cover. I hope they do,
- 57:38Speaker 1: but I don't think they will. And I don't want
- 57:39Speaker 1: to bet Bama even though I think they'll win because
- 57:42Speaker 1: I don't have to root for that. My rooting affects
- 57:45Speaker 1: a lot of my betting. Yeah, I'm not able to separate.
- 57:47Speaker 3: I feel that same like with the Cowboys.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I won't to do it, by the way, and I'll
- 57:51Speaker 1: end with this in our little league, Oh, Joe Flacco's good.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Got bench for Dylan Gabriel.
- 57:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all that.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm excited to see what he does. And his
- 57:58Speaker 4: first start is in London.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know what, it's probably not gonna be good.
- 58:02Speaker 1: But nobody's gonna be good with the Browns. It's probably not.
- 58:06Speaker 3: Gonna be good. No, were you surprised he was Dylan
- 58:08Speaker 3: Oversdre No, because he's been number two the whole year.
- 58:10Speaker 3: He's sugar. Wasn't even taking stats in the practice.
- 58:12Speaker 4: Squad, Yeah, even flags number two.
- 58:13Speaker 1: No, they had Bailey's Zappi taking snaps the practice squad
- 58:18Speaker 1: over shoulder. Yeah so no, yeah, I wasn't. Okay, you
- 58:25Speaker 1: were looking at our team, our money, m M. So
- 58:28Speaker 1: it looked we got in did We got in the league,
- 58:34Speaker 1: and we drafted all these teams and the more they win,
- 58:37Speaker 1: we win money. But if they lose, we lose. Even
- 58:39Speaker 1: more money, and so we have the Chiefs and I
- 58:46Speaker 1: there's some outside there now. The fact that Worthy, I
- 58:51Speaker 1: would say, opened up the secondary because he's a deep
- 58:55Speaker 1: threat guy, so you can't keep the safeties playing up,
- 58:59Speaker 1: which opens up everything, the run, the intermediate passing. So
- 59:04Speaker 1: Worthy change that raceist Rice comes back in a couple
- 59:06Speaker 1: of weeks too. I think the Chiefs aren't as lost
- 59:09Speaker 1: as we thought they might be. The Jags, the Jackson
- 59:12Speaker 1: three and one, yeah, but like you are, you are
- 59:16Speaker 1: your record. But we have the Chiefs, we have the Bengals.
- 59:19Speaker 1: They need to trade for a quarterback something. And the
- 59:22Speaker 1: reason they need to trade for a quarterback is because
- 59:24Speaker 1: they can win that division.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:28Speaker 1: The best team in the divisions one and three Baltimore. Yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 1: and they're real in right now, big time injury, especially
- 59:34Speaker 1: now that Lamar isn't not is not going to play
- 59:36Speaker 1: for a couple of weeks. Yeah, So the Bengals could
- 59:39Speaker 1: actually win that division if they had a decent quarterback.
- 59:42Speaker 1: So that would be nice to see them for us,
- 59:45Speaker 1: Like I'm glad everybody else is losing in that division.
- 59:47Speaker 1: I mean, Pittsburgh's not losing, losing, but I don't think
- 59:49Speaker 1: they're that good.
- 59:50Speaker 4: They're not.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Hey, Cleveland definitely isn't good. Right, So that's that whole division.
- 59:54Speaker 1: But we have the Chiefs and the Bengals that that
- 59:57Speaker 1: that hurts.
- 59:58Speaker 3: Yep. We have the bus.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Nice, we have the Patriots not bad.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Yeah, tough one this week. Boys.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: So we have those four teams we got a root
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: for yep. And when they lose, we lose a lot
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: of money. When they win, we win a little. But
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: you're supposed to win most of your games.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: So do I need a second job or not?
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Do you not know where we are? Really? No, I
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: haven't won.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: I look every day.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Well it doesn't.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: I just hope it does.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Like a recount.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Yeah here, you just never know.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: I check it on Tuesday stat corrections.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: We're minus a thousand dollars right now.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I just started to go fundme for you guys.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Nice, Thank you, buddy, Thanks, thank you for the link up.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: So we are at minus a thousand bucks, which is
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: better than what it was well for a minute, because
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: both our teams didn't play. But there there's one team
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: minus twenty two hundred right now that could be us
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: because they have the Ravens winnings and so they have
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: one they've only got one game. They have the Colts
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: losing on the same team. Wow, So for them to win,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the Colts have to lose. They picked the Colt and
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: so those two have really set them back.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that's rough.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Yeah, we could be that.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: And at least the Packers don't look as good as
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: they did earlier in the year.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Eddie, Well that's Cowboys, right, Cowboys.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Men look a little normal.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but could they play the week before and they lost.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: But if you're you're betting a team going forward. And
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the reason they're saying this because Eddie wanted to pick
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: the Bengals over the.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Packers and that was my two cents the Packers.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: The Packers definitely have a higher See.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: I'm trying to just trying to thank you for trying
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: to positive and help you out with Eddie. Thank you,
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: please stop doing that.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Uh, that's it.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: So root for our four teams. The Chiefs playing the Jags, yep, okay,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: we feel okay about that one.
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: Yeah, Monday night.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: We do not like the Patriots and the Bills. They
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: have to play each other, don't know, but the.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Bills have to lose at some point. Maybe it's this week.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: I don't know that they do, like just one week,
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: pretty tough, especially in Buffalo on Sunday night. That's gonna
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: be rock.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the Bucks have a tough game. Yeah, who do?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: They just looked at all for them and it was
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: like these all.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Suck, like it doesn't look good for us.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I just eliminated my mind who They
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: actually were.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Playing Seahawks in Seattle.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: That's yeah, that's that's all the way across the country.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: That's a tough one. Okay, but okay, they can win
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: that one though.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: Wait, it gets better, guys, go ahead, Angles Alliance.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Oh oh my good.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: We could lose I need a second job.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: We could lose fifteen hundred bucks this weekend.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: It called Starbucks.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: If we don't win a game, we will lose fifteen
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: hundred dollars or so.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: And you got to post more videos, dude to get
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: that pay.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I need my Instagram more.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I got that popcorn looked so thank you, thank you,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: him and done brought it over to my wife and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I really.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Well, she was pregnant, that's okay, So I brought her popcorn.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: And they brought me popcorn with like just salt on it.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Because you can't eat butter. You can't eat dairy, dude boring,
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: And he was like, where my m and ms dude's
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: milk chocolate. You can't have that. Stay away from our popcorn.

- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Come, look really good. Game one they did Game one,
