- 0:00Speaker 1: Not Cheyenne, but Chyanne. I'm sorry it was so I
- 0:05Speaker 1: laughed out loud.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Come on, dude, chyan Hey, everybody. Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark,
- 0:26Speaker 2: a Hallmarker You podcast. I'm Megan, I'm Wendy, and today
- 0:29Speaker 2: we're recapping episode nine of the Hallmark original series Ride,
- 0:34Speaker 2: Truths Laid Baar. Just one more episode to go in
- 0:38Speaker 2: season one of Ride. If you want to connect with
- 0:40Speaker 2: us outside of the podcast, we'd love to have you
- 0:43Speaker 2: follow us on Instagram, where we're both Megan and Wendy
- 0:47Speaker 2: and Girls Gone Hallmark.
- 0:49Speaker 1: You can always jump into our Facebook group Girls Gone Hallmark.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I will leave a link in our show notes.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I have some news and notes. Go ahead. First, let's
- 0:59Speaker 2: do a quick RYE numbers update. Ride dropped in both
- 1:06Speaker 2: share of the key demo and in viewership this week.
- 1:09Speaker 2: We're down to eight hundred and thirty nine thousand viewers.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Did you see the graph I made recently?
- 1:17Speaker 1: You did it, But I posted an article on our
- 1:21Speaker 1: blog about Ride, and I made a graph because I'm
- 1:24Speaker 1: a real nerd. Yeah that. I took all the metrics
- 1:28Speaker 1: from Showbuzz Daily and I made a graph of their
- 1:31Speaker 1: viewership over the last nine episodes.
- 1:34Speaker 2: That's amazing. So that's not news to you.
- 1:37Speaker 1: No, no, but it's been like up down, up, down,
- 1:40Speaker 1: up down, Like that's the pattern.
- 1:41Speaker 2: All season long. So we all know we're in the
- 1:43Speaker 2: midst of a writer's strike. But did you know that
- 1:46Speaker 2: there's a actors strike pending as well? Stop I did not.
- 1:51Speaker 2: So the SAG after contract expires June thirtieth, negotiations begin
- 1:59Speaker 2: on June, and the board was going to ask for
- 2:02Speaker 2: a vote for strike authorization prior to the negotiations, which
- 2:08Speaker 2: the articles I read, I don't know a lot about
- 2:10Speaker 2: how union negotiations work, but basically said that can be
- 2:14Speaker 2: a bargaining point. It says, look, our members have already
- 2:18Speaker 2: authorized a strike, so if at any point this breaks down,
- 2:21Speaker 2: we're ready to go on strike if you're not willing
- 2:25Speaker 2: to work with us. How that's affecting now, that's affecting
- 2:29Speaker 2: entertainment industry as a whole. Movies are having a hard
- 2:32Speaker 2: time getting insurance because of the pending strike. But in
- 2:39Speaker 2: the Hallmark world and throughout entertainment, they're shuffling timelines. They're like,
- 2:43Speaker 2: we got to get everybody in as much as we
- 2:45Speaker 2: can get done before that timeline, and the reason we
- 2:50Speaker 2: know or can strongly speculate what's happening here. There is
- 2:54Speaker 2: a Hallmark fan convention coming up Christmas con in Kansas,
- 2:59Speaker 2: put on by the That's for Entertainment brand, and several
- 3:04Speaker 2: actors have had to bow out of the last minute.
- 3:06Speaker 2: These you should bear Jen Lilly Brennan, Elliott, Cameron Matheson
- 3:11Speaker 2: was going to be appearing. He's now only able to
- 3:12Speaker 2: be there for one day. And generally herself said in
- 3:16Speaker 2: the comments that it's due to the shuffling of a
- 3:19Speaker 2: lot of schedules. So we shall see what happens. Because
- 3:25Speaker 2: it doesn't matter how many scripts you have stockpiled if
- 3:28Speaker 2: you don't have the actors with which to make the movies.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Wow, that is going to be really interesting to watch
- 3:35Speaker 1: this shakeout.
- 3:36Speaker 2: And for context, the last actor strike was in two
- 3:39Speaker 2: thousand and that was over a dispute about work in commercials.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So it's been a minute. Wow.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I just don't want to watch months and months of
- 3:48Speaker 1: reality TV.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I like to be entertained with good stories as well.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You know, but I this is not about me.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I am concerned about you know whatever they're fighting for sure.
- 4:00Speaker 1: The thing that's great about girls gone Hallmark is we
- 4:03Speaker 1: can always look at the archives of you know, there's
- 4:06Speaker 1: a huge catalog of movies, but we could choose from
- 4:09Speaker 1: and review here on the podcast.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So that's right, Yeah, exciting and sad. Okay, let's move
- 4:16Speaker 2: on to Ride and let's hear a synopsis.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Sure thing of Valeria finally finally reveals the secrets of
- 4:26Speaker 1: her past, and the truth of Austin's secrets surface, causing
- 4:31Speaker 1: Cash to spiral into a dark and dangerous place.
- 4:35Speaker 2: This episode is a little bit of a departure from
- 4:37Speaker 2: previous episodes in that we don't have nearly as many
- 4:41Speaker 2: competing storylines, just one strong through line about the truth
- 4:47Speaker 2: about Valeria.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I have in my notes alternate title the one where
- 4:52Speaker 2: Austin is a huge disappointment and also the one where
- 4:56Speaker 2: Daniel Booker continues to be a jerk even off screen.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Go Missy, well, I think this is like the next
- 5:03Speaker 1: day or the next couple days, right, because we do
- 5:06Speaker 1: start the episode out like where it ended last week,
- 5:09Speaker 1: which is a first for this show, I believe. So
- 5:14Speaker 1: I guess I'm not surprised that we didn't see Gus Booker.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Back, you know, just I think he's gone. I think
- 5:22Speaker 2: he's gone. I'm talking about Daniel Daddy Booker. Oh my bad,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Oh, Daniel Booker is just a real jerk off.
- 5:33Speaker 2: So those are your two alternative titles. Yeah, mine is
- 5:36Speaker 2: is this thing almost over? Sorry? No, I actually so.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I thought last week's episode it was pretty good. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: was excited to see like this week's episode rolled right
- 5:47Speaker 1: into it, but I was like, at the end of it,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I was like, really, Okay.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Well that answers my next question, which is, what was
- 5:54Speaker 2: your feeling about the Valeria truth reveal. I just think
- 5:59Speaker 2: that but it's not that big of a deal. Yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 2: it wasn't as dramatic as I thought. She's not a
- 6:06Speaker 2: bad guy, right. I was preparing for her to be
- 6:10Speaker 2: the bad guy, and she's not the bad guy.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I think that this show could be good because I
- 6:19Speaker 1: think the actors are good and I don't even hate
- 6:24Speaker 1: like the setting. I think writing might need some help
- 6:29Speaker 1: on this show, and I think it would behove them
- 6:32Speaker 1: to bring in like a seasoned writer or showrunner who
- 6:37Speaker 1: is familiar with like soap operas.
- 6:40Speaker 2: M What do you think, Yeah, that they need that
- 6:44Speaker 2: level of drama. Yeah, because it's falling flat for me?
- 6:48Speaker 2: What about you. I was expecting more from the Valeria reveal,
- 6:53Speaker 2: so I kind of was expecting that we were supposed
- 6:56Speaker 2: to be torn about accepting her and the McMurray's rallying
- 7:01Speaker 2: around her, when it turns out they had absolutely no
- 7:05Speaker 2: reason not to rally around her.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Well, because she comes from like an unstable home, right
- 7:11Speaker 1: her mom dies, her dad is not great, he remarries,
- 7:15Speaker 1: she's not accepted into like their new family, and basically
- 7:20Speaker 1: hears that they're going to send her away to like
- 7:22Speaker 1: boarding school or whatever.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So she runs away.
- 7:25Speaker 1: But then, of course, like she's sixteen, So when Austin
- 7:30Speaker 1: finds her at some rodeo or whatever, which I think
- 7:33Speaker 1: is kind of weird by the way, Yes, like what
- 7:36Speaker 1: are you doing with a sixteen year old dude?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yes, please explain why you were picking up stray minors?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Pretty weird. Of course, Isabelle's going to be like, yes,
- 7:47Speaker 1: or we're going to give you a soft place to land,
- 7:49Speaker 1: that's nice.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I think I'm confused because in the beginning of the episode,
- 7:55Speaker 2: when Valeria is explaining her past, she says, why didn't
- 7:59Speaker 2: you just tell us? And she said, because isabel would
- 8:02Speaker 2: have had to send me back. Do you remember that scene. Yes,
- 8:04Speaker 2: I do. Then towards the end of the episode, we
- 8:07Speaker 2: get a flashback of her actually meeting isabell Let and
- 8:11Speaker 2: she says, I'm sixteen years old. Mm hmmm hmm, but
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm from the foster system. So is it because she's
- 8:18Speaker 2: sixteen and from the foster system she's still a minor?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Because she says in the beginning, Isabel would have had
- 8:24Speaker 2: to send me back because I was a minor. Isabel
- 8:26Speaker 2: knew she was a minor. It's confusing to me. I
- 8:29Speaker 2: thought she was gonna lie about her age at that point,
- 8:31Speaker 2: maybe Isabel decides she's sixteen and sending her back would
- 8:35Speaker 2: have been unsafe.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Yeah. They didn't really like complete the circle there, did they?
- 8:41Speaker 2: That I was thrown? Yeah?
- 8:43Speaker 1: So what do you think about Valeria then saving Austin's
- 8:48Speaker 1: ass like going back to her parents' home and stealing
- 8:53Speaker 1: this necklace.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I don't understand why Austin knowing her secret that she
- 9:01Speaker 2: comes from a wealthy family is such a big deal.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Is enough power over her to get her to steal
- 9:08Speaker 2: this necklace to save him? Absolutely? Agree? First of all, Austin,
- 9:13Speaker 2: you're a terrible person. I think this is true trash
- 9:18Speaker 2: bag behavior. You somehow got We still don't know exactly
- 9:22Speaker 2: like we know he was. Is it gambling debts? Yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 2: I don't think it's super clear yet why he was
- 9:29Speaker 2: in such big money trouble. But that's your problem. And
- 9:34Speaker 2: then you're going to turn to this girl who you
- 9:37Speaker 2: saved in quotations as a child and say, like, I
- 9:41Speaker 2: know your secret, that you're not who you say you are,
- 9:43Speaker 2: but who she says she is and who she actually is.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Neither of those people is a criminal, right up until
- 9:50Speaker 2: the point she steals the necklace, which you could argue
- 9:53Speaker 2: is rightfully hers. She's not a criminal. I just think
- 9:56Speaker 2: he used her loyalty to him and the family and
- 10:00Speaker 2: how they saved him in such an ugly deavy way,
- 10:03Speaker 2: totally blackmailed are basically yes, such gross. That's not a
- 10:10Speaker 2: stand up dude right there.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think this show has established that Austin
- 10:15Speaker 1: is a stand up dude.
- 10:17Speaker 2: No, I agree. However, I do think there's this the
- 10:20Speaker 2: McMurray air of Austin McMurray, especially from the cash perspective,
- 10:26Speaker 2: of him being this dynamic cash. U's is a word,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and I wish I could remember what it is. How
- 10:32Speaker 2: he was kind of the unicorn. Mm hmm. Yeah, none
- 10:36Speaker 2: of that is appearing to be.
- 10:38Speaker 1: True, right, And I do think it's kind of interesting
- 10:41Speaker 1: to watch, like Isabelle and the rest of the family
- 10:44Speaker 1: see how who Austin really is like unfolding in front
- 10:47Speaker 1: of them, Like, I think that's an interesting storyline, but
- 10:50Speaker 1: it's not really like hitting like I wanted to.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I think Valeria's storyline could have been made better if
- 10:56Speaker 2: she had done some shady things along the way as
- 11:00Speaker 2: a runaway, Like I know, you're this small time criminal
- 11:03Speaker 2: who had to do X, Y and Z to survive. Hmmm, yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 2: I can still root for her, But then at least
- 11:09Speaker 2: Austin's got something like you're wanted in these states for
- 11:13Speaker 2: these petty thefts or for breaking in hunt whatever it is, right,
- 11:17Speaker 2: like make it a little dirtier.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, So that would be interesting if they did go
- 11:22Speaker 1: to a season two and worked on backstories of the characters.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of a show that has done that.
- 11:30Speaker 1: I think maybe Lost Remember the Loss? Yes, you know,
- 11:34Speaker 1: because you're on an island, how much story do you
- 11:36Speaker 1: have there? And then you start to like go back
- 11:39Speaker 1: into the characters individual stories. So if we saw season
- 11:45Speaker 1: two from Ride. I think it would be cool if
- 11:47Speaker 1: we did see Valeria's story kind of develop. Maybe she
- 11:51Speaker 1: did do some like petty theft or whatever to get by,
- 11:57Speaker 1: and that would give us more context of the secret
- 12:01Speaker 1: that Austin was holding over her.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and there's a lot they could do with that,
- 12:05Speaker 2: like Missy's page and Queen Day. Yes, Cash being in
- 12:07Speaker 2: the military, tough, being this cowboy, but also like coming
- 12:12Speaker 2: out as a gay man, right, Like, how does that
- 12:14Speaker 2: affect his family? How does that affect the world that
- 12:16Speaker 2: he lives in. There's a lot going on. There Isabelle
- 12:19Speaker 2: losing Dusty. There's a lot that they could do with that.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I think I just gave them a season two I
- 12:25Speaker 1: think it is.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Is that a lot bright I do?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:28Speaker 2: All right, just kidding, No, I won't. I won't. Well,
- 12:31Speaker 2: I'm not a part of the writers Guild, so don't
- 12:33Speaker 2: be a scab.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I'm not. Okay moving on, But I think that's a
- 12:36Speaker 1: good idea. I think they should do that because, like,
- 12:38Speaker 1: how much more do I want to watch in season
- 12:40Speaker 1: two of them trying to save this ranch?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Not not a whole lot, No season two. They need
- 12:47Speaker 2: to dig into one path whatever it is. Are you
- 12:51Speaker 2: an event venue, then you've got different crazy events happening
- 12:54Speaker 2: there every week, mixed in with the throwbacks. Based on
- 12:57Speaker 2: whichever character are you focusing on Cash's rodeo career and
- 13:02Speaker 2: how that affects the whole family. You need to dial
- 13:04Speaker 2: into one direction and then build up these characters in that.
- 13:09Speaker 1: A couple episodes ago here, I think I said incorrectly, unfortunately,
- 13:15Speaker 1: but I think there is a good storyline here if
- 13:18Speaker 1: they did continue with the stadium under the McMurray name,
- 13:22Speaker 1: But then Austin's reputation sullies that.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so the stadium is not happening.
- 13:28Speaker 1: It's just like boom done.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah. I was a little surprised by that. I think
- 13:32Speaker 2: that was a little too anti climactic for me, the
- 13:35Speaker 2: way that Hank was willing to just back out. I
- 13:38Speaker 2: do think we could still see some McMurray fall out
- 13:42Speaker 2: once perhaps the truth about Austin becomes public, but may
- 13:48Speaker 2: reflect on them in another way. Right now, Cash has
- 13:50Speaker 2: got this dream to be a big writer. But what's
- 13:53Speaker 2: it going to mean when we find out that his brother,
- 13:56Speaker 2: the superstar rodeo writer, was a big thing?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean that's.
- 14:03Speaker 1: An interesting avenue.
- 14:05Speaker 2: To look at you. I like it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I like it, but I'm not fully bought in to
- 14:09Speaker 1: the idea that Cash wants to be this big superstar.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Mmm mm hmm.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It it doesn't show for us, you know what I mean?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Like, right, he's not. He just wants to be better
- 14:18Speaker 2: than Austin.
- 14:18Speaker 1: He's tired of living in this Austin's unicorn shadow, so
- 14:24Speaker 1: he wanted to do something for himself. But this was
- 14:26Speaker 1: all under the guys at the beginning of the season
- 14:29Speaker 1: that he needed to do this to make money to
- 14:31Speaker 1: save the ranch.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Right, and yet again we need to dial in. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 2: it's just I think he's got to be a bull rider.
- 14:39Speaker 2: The show is called Ride, Yeah, there's gotta be bull
- 14:44Speaker 2: riding at the center of it. There were some things
- 14:46Speaker 2: I liked about this episode, some little moment. First up,
- 14:49Speaker 2: when Tucker Clark pulls up to the McMurray ranch and
- 14:52Speaker 2: Cash squares up to his truck like they're about to
- 14:56Speaker 2: have an old Western duel. I thought it was both
- 14:59Speaker 2: hot and hilarious Cash and Tough for arguing in their
- 15:04Speaker 2: truck about Cash's responsibility upon hearing this message from his brother,
- 15:10Speaker 2: and Tough is of course frustrated because maybe they could
- 15:12Speaker 2: have done something at the time, and Cash something about
- 15:15Speaker 2: the way he says this next line, I was eight
- 15:17Speaker 2: thousand miles away from home, brother, brother. Did you hear
- 15:21Speaker 2: that line?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:22Speaker 2: I did. It was a good one. Yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Hey, look, I really like what's the same?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Bo Boako? Yeah?
- 15:29Speaker 1: I like him as an actor me too. I think
- 15:31Speaker 1: he's kind of growing on me. Last week he was
- 15:35Speaker 1: a real douchebag. But this week, like I did like
- 15:40Speaker 1: those kind of like those scenes like you said, like
- 15:42Speaker 1: when he's having this tough conversation with Tough and when
- 15:46Speaker 1: he squares off with Tucker Carlson.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I like that. Yeah, I kind of like the whole
- 15:50Speaker 2: vibe of this darker app as mentioned. I could have
- 15:55Speaker 2: used more, but I did like this melodramatic direction we
- 15:59Speaker 2: were going. So did you like at the end where
- 16:01Speaker 2: Cash comes to the pawn shop and he's there to
- 16:04Speaker 2: like tear Tucker Carlson's head off and then gets Clark
- 16:08Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson entirely, Oh.
- 16:10Speaker 1: My gosh, I can't with this show. So did you
- 16:14Speaker 1: like that ending? Then you like the big like drama
- 16:16Speaker 1: there at the end?
- 16:17Speaker 2: I did, but has Tucker Clark as his role as
- 16:22Speaker 2: a pawn shop owner other than being like a total dick,
- 16:25Speaker 2: done anything wrong?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Well, he stole Diddy Eddy's belt. I don't. Oh good question.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Did somebody take that to the pawn shop to pawn Austin?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Did he steal it? I bet Austin stole it. Do
- 16:39Speaker 2: I not understand how pawn shops work? Because Missy takes
- 16:42Speaker 2: her engagement ring and says, I need to pawn this
- 16:44Speaker 2: for two weeks.
- 16:46Speaker 1: What I think like, she gets the cash for it,
- 16:50Speaker 1: and then if she returns back in two weeks to
- 16:52Speaker 1: repay the cash plus interest, and she gets the ring back.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I think that's how it works. Okay. I thought it
- 16:58Speaker 2: was just a direct trade, like you give me the
- 17:00Speaker 2: I'll give you the money, and then I is gone forever.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I guess that does make sense that they'll hold on
- 17:05Speaker 2: to it for a length of time.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Now, I couldn't even tell you where a pawnshop is
- 17:09Speaker 1: at I don't have one in my town. You know,
- 17:13Speaker 1: you know it's weird that like this small town of
- 17:15Speaker 1: Canyon has.
- 17:16Speaker 2: This pawn shop.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Sure do you know where a pawn shop is in
- 17:19Speaker 1: your city?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Megan? I don't, But I'm also not even sure I
- 17:22Speaker 2: would clock it. I think I was.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I just don't think they exist. What did you think
- 17:28Speaker 1: about Missy reuniting with her mom a little bit in
- 17:31Speaker 1: this episode.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I'm glad that we're not leaving storylines with Major Lusen's.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I'm glad they didn't just introduce Missy's mom for a
- 17:41Speaker 2: little bit of drama in that isabelle birthday up and
- 17:44Speaker 2: now we're bringing it back around a little bit.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I was hoping that there was more to Missy's mom,
- 17:50Speaker 1: like there's more history there with the McMurray family. But
- 17:54Speaker 1: in this particular episode, I did like the conversation that
- 17:58Speaker 1: they had where she said that Ranch is not your problem,
- 18:03Speaker 1: basically in the simplest of terms, like she has no
- 18:06Speaker 1: like Missy has no responsibility. Yes, exactly exactly, because of course,
- 18:12Speaker 1: missus so upset that Daniel Booker is not paying her
- 18:15Speaker 1: for the wedding and blah blah blah blah blah blah
- 18:17Speaker 1: blah ah, that stuff like that storyline is so dumb.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Don't you agree? No, you can disagree with me. No,
- 18:23Speaker 2: I'm trying to decide what I think about that storyline.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I think they needed to give Missy a storyline. No
- 18:30Speaker 1: have anything else for her? Yes, had something to do.
- 18:33Speaker 1: She wasn't training cash. What else is her purpose?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but they've got this whole thing where they're chasing
- 18:39Speaker 2: down the truth about Austin. Why isn't Missy involved in that?
- 18:42Speaker 2: Why hasn't Missy reached back out to Polly? Why are
- 18:46Speaker 2: we getting this dude who has so much money that
- 18:49Speaker 2: he can just helicopter into the ranch to just pay
- 18:53Speaker 2: for the wedding that couldn't have honestly cost that much.
- 18:55Speaker 2: It's not the Ritz Carlton. I mean, I think they're
- 18:59Speaker 2: not the on top.
- 19:00Speaker 1: They're paying for maybe the catering that the McMurray's might
- 19:04Speaker 1: have had a front. You know, I know what else
- 19:06Speaker 1: is there? There wasn't like there was servers and muse
- 19:11Speaker 1: and all of this. But what is the McMurray's out.
- 19:15Speaker 1: They're not out anything, that's true. How much money have
- 19:18Speaker 1: they actually lost other than the time they spent because
- 19:20Speaker 1: they did give up an entire ranch working day to
- 19:23Speaker 1: Oh gosh, oh my god.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I can't but you're right, they could have given Missy
- 19:28Speaker 2: something more interesting to do.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Have you noticed that Frontier Jeans hasn't been talked about
- 19:33Speaker 1: in a couple episodes?
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah? I remember at the beginning of last episode. I
- 19:37Speaker 2: think she was like, Oh, I haven't heard from them
- 19:39Speaker 2: in a while. And then what's gonna happen when we
- 19:43Speaker 2: get into a finale episode of a show. I am
- 19:48Speaker 2: about twenty minutes away from finishing the finale of Emily
- 19:51Speaker 2: in Paris, and they're just like wrapping up storylines, wrapping
- 19:53Speaker 2: up storylines, trying to like bring it all to a close.
- 19:56Speaker 2: So I wonder how much action we're going to get
- 19:59Speaker 2: in next week's episode. Yeah, is there anything else that
- 20:02Speaker 2: you liked about this episode? But that's it? Well, I have.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Two sort of digite thats, yes, and they're mostly complaints
- 20:11Speaker 1: and curiosities. Tough and Julian are talking right, and they're
- 20:17Speaker 1: talking about like Julian's going back out on the road
- 20:20Speaker 1: and then he's gonna take some time off and go
- 20:21Speaker 1: to Arizona and he really wants Tough to go with him.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And I was like, these dudes have a zero chemistry
- 20:27Speaker 1: with each other, Like nothing screams like an interest between
- 20:31Speaker 1: these two other than a friendship.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I don't get it. But second, Julian.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Leaves with the most amount of leftovers I've ever seen
- 20:39Speaker 1: one man take in my entire life. It was like
- 20:42Speaker 1: four snacks of huge temperware leftover from the way.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I'm like, what's he going to do with that? Does
- 20:47Speaker 2: one dude who lives by himself's.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Gonna eat all that? That's ridiculous And isn't he leaving
- 20:52Speaker 1: town what?
- 20:53Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 20:54Speaker 1: The other thing that I wanted to mention was during
- 20:58Speaker 1: the middle of this episode, wants to fight with Tucker,
- 21:03Speaker 1: right m hmm. It's like their first visit to the
- 21:06Speaker 1: pawn shop and Tough whispers Cheyenne.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Like, don't do it, you Chyne coming.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I just laughed so hard. I was like, this big
- 21:19Speaker 1: Cheyenne rodeo, Like, is it ever gonna happen? It's gotta
- 21:22Speaker 1: happen in the last episode, right, Okay?
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yes, but I got the impression that the end of
- 21:28Speaker 2: this episode was happening on the day of the Cheyenne rodeo, yes, ma'am,
- 21:32Speaker 2: because all of a sudden, they're.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Like, where's Cush on the day that he's supposed to
- 21:37Speaker 1: be riding in Cheyenne.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Where the hell is Cheyenne? By the way, I mean
- 21:40Speaker 2: it's in Wyoming, but hold on, what the hell is
- 21:44Speaker 2: the name of the town where they live.
- 21:46Speaker 1: They live in canyon.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I just want to see if that's a place. No, Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 2: Dendner to Cheyenne is only an hour and a half.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Okay, what Still they would have he would have been
- 21:59Speaker 1: there the day before. It's not like you just drive
- 22:02Speaker 1: in that morning.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and oh I haven't seen him since breakfast. It's
- 22:05Speaker 2: clearly been some time since breakfast. What the hell are
- 22:08Speaker 2: you doing? What time? Does a rodeo only happen at night?
- 22:11Speaker 2: I mean maybe it does. I think actually that might
- 22:14Speaker 2: be true, Like rodeos are like a sports event, nighttime entertainment.
- 22:16Speaker 2: But why aren't they there?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the timeline on this show is all screwy
- 22:22Speaker 1: all the time.
- 22:23Speaker 2: So they're like, he goes to fight Tucker and now
- 22:25Speaker 2: they're gonna get in the car and race over there.
- 22:27Speaker 2: They can't drive that fast. They're towing a bowl behind them.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Oh no, they bring their own bowl. But still they
- 22:33Speaker 2: don't ride their own bul No, because remember Austin, I
- 22:37Speaker 2: know he he pulled Hurricane, right, I would just think
- 22:40Speaker 2: that you would ride your own. But don't you think tough?
- 22:43Speaker 2: What's tough's job?
- 22:45Speaker 1: Like? Oh, he's like the clown guy.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I know it's not a clown guys. I'm sorry fighter, Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 2: does he ride anything? No, he's just on foot, right, okay, whatever.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That makes no sense to me either, Like Missy didn't
- 22:58Speaker 1: know where Cash was, Like, this is your dude that
- 23:01Speaker 1: you're training, You're gonna know where your guy's at.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Like it's just so dumb. Yeah, you're gonna have a
- 23:06Speaker 2: training set schedule for the day, warm ups and nutrition
- 23:09Speaker 2: and everything he else he needs to go through to
- 23:12Speaker 2: be ready for his ride, right right.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Not Cheyenne, but Chyenne. I'm sorry it was so I
- 23:20Speaker 1: laughed out loud.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Come on, dude, Chian. It didn't need to be that.
- 23:24Speaker 2: That was the morning of Cheyenne. There was no reason
- 23:28Speaker 2: for that to be happening, Like it could have been
- 23:30Speaker 2: that weekend.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Not Cheyenne, but Chyenne. I'm sorry it was so I
- 23:36Speaker 1: laughed out loud. Come on, dude, Okay. I think what's
- 23:40Speaker 1: gonna happen next episode is that it's gonna pick up
- 23:43Speaker 1: where it was left off, perhaps maybe Cash getting leaving,
- 23:47Speaker 1: like the police station, and then then they ride off
- 23:51Speaker 1: to Cheyenne and he wins and it's the end of
- 23:54Speaker 1: the season. M or do you think they'll leave us
- 23:57Speaker 1: with some cliffhanger.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Well, that's what I'm wondering. What there's got to be
- 24:01Speaker 2: some cliffhanger. They can't tie everything with a bow. They've
- 24:04Speaker 2: got to wrap up enough. What is the cliffhanger going
- 24:07Speaker 2: to be? Is it Cash getting potentially injured, the McMurray curse.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Is it JB not being sure if he's going to
- 24:15Speaker 2: sponsor them. We've got multiple romantic relationships up in the air.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Are we going to have any sort of action happening
- 24:22Speaker 2: on those? I don't know, don't know. Is Cody gonna
- 24:26Speaker 2: come to Cheyenne? See?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Is about well he takes care of like, well, there's
- 24:31Speaker 1: no horses. He's not taking care of horses there. Maybe
- 24:33Speaker 1: he'll just go as her dating they're.
- 24:35Speaker 2: On horses because there's at the road there's barrel riding
- 24:38Speaker 2: and trick riding and.
- 24:39Speaker 1: All that, so he might be on hand there too.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I don't know if farriers travel or if they have
- 24:45Speaker 2: their own that's what he is. He's a farrier. Is
- 24:47Speaker 2: that's the word? I think? I don't know. Just a
- 24:49Speaker 2: few more days until you find out. That's all right?
