"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
Exodus 33 finds the Israelites at a critical juncture in the wilderness. After the tragedy of the golden calf, Moses is faced with the daunting responsibility of leading astubborn, unpredictable people toward the Promised Land. Overwhelmed by the road ahead, Moses prays for assurance. God doesn't offer him a strategic map, adetailed timeline, or a promise of easy circumstances. Instead, He offers something far greater: His personal presence and His rest.
