- 1:26Speaker 2: The popcorn moment, Let's go, let's go, Let's go, let's go.
- 1:30Speaker 1: It's the story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 1:33Speaker 1: grab your popcorn because there is more. President Trump was
- 1:40Speaker 1: out in Las Vegas yesterday and he was talking about affordability,
- 1:47Speaker 1: talking about the economy. I don't have any issue with
- 1:52Speaker 1: him doing this. I think this is a smart idea.
- 1:55Speaker 1: There are things worthy of discussion, there are things going
- 2:01Speaker 1: on in the economy that are worthwhile, but one should
- 2:07Speaker 1: not get into a conversation of there's no issue with affordability.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I don't think you have to discuss it the way
- 2:19Speaker 1: the left does it when it comes to affordability, because
- 2:24Speaker 1: you have their side of the aisle discussing things like
- 2:29Speaker 1: rent is oppression, choose.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I can't make this stuff up. Why would I even
- 2:35Speaker 2: try so? This was Trump at the rally, or.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Americans are working in the United States right now that
- 2:45Speaker 1: at any point in the history of our country.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I saw poles at television. I say, Donald Trump, polls
- 2:52Speaker 2: on the economy aren't good.
- 2:53Speaker 1: The economy is the greatest economy we've ever had by far.
- 2:57Speaker 2: The economy aren't good. Fake it's just like fake writers.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And as illegal aliens go home. The cost of rent,
- 3:05Speaker 2: groceries and other staples is coming down very fast. Our
- 3:09Speaker 2: costs they're coming way down. You know. They talk about affordability.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I took over the country, the prices were through the roof.
- 3:16Speaker 2: In my first day. The press said, what are you
- 3:19Speaker 2: going to do about affordability? It was a word they devised, affordability.
- 3:23Speaker 2: They never used that word before.
- 3:26Speaker 1: They certainly didn't use it under Biden for four years.
- 3:28Speaker 1: That much is correct. You can't call it the economy
- 3:33Speaker 1: has never been so much so great when people are
- 3:37Speaker 1: still paying higher prices for beef, certainly for gasoline, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: for these basics things that we don't talk about, like
- 3:43Speaker 1: the insurances, it's a hard one to sell. To discuss
- 3:49Speaker 1: where we are doing well, to discuss that prices have
- 3:52Speaker 1: come down.
- 3:53Speaker 2: That's a worthy conversation.
- 3:56Speaker 1: To discuss the idea that we have been able to
- 3:59Speaker 1: lower rent because one of the things that we have
- 4:02Speaker 1: done is allowed for the removal of illegal immigrants, and
- 4:06Speaker 1: therefore we've changed the landscape because of supply and demand.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Very very good.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Anytime you've removed an a legal immigrant from the country good.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Anytime we've welcomed a legal immigrant who actually wants to
- 4:20Speaker 1: be a part of America to the country excellent. And
- 4:24Speaker 1: every time we find somebody who lied about wanting to
- 4:27Speaker 1: be part of America and then has gone about trying
- 4:29Speaker 1: to harm America, we denaturalize and deport that person.
- 4:33Speaker 2: That that should get your twenty bucks.
- 4:38Speaker 1: You cannot have conversation about affordability without a recognition of
- 4:43Speaker 1: what people are going through. But you don't have to
- 4:47Speaker 1: do it Jimmy Carter style. You don't have to engage
- 4:51Speaker 1: a conversation a malaise. You can engage where good things
- 4:54Speaker 1: are going on retirement accounselor in a good spot that
- 4:59Speaker 1: affects lots and lots and lots of people. You can
- 5:03Speaker 1: talk about how lowered costs have happened here and there.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Part of the problem is President Trump wants his cake
- 5:10Speaker 1: and to eat it too. You would have a better
- 5:13Speaker 1: opportunity about lower costs if you did.
- 5:15Speaker 2: What got rid of tariffs.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We have this conversation with doctor Matt will the economists
- 5:22Speaker 1: from the University of Indianapolis all the time. He is
- 5:26Speaker 1: his own worst enemy on this doesn't have to be.
- 5:31Speaker 1: What I like about this is that at least he's
- 5:34Speaker 1: getting out there and having conversations about what's working. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: just don't want him to be dismissive of the other stuff,
- 5:40Speaker 1: because that is going to be seen as a disconnect.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Where was the applause there? The economy is so great,
- 5:46Speaker 2: The economy is e it is.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I have got Federal Reserve governors discussing rate increases because
- 5:57Speaker 1: the inflation hasn't gone away, and it hasn't and they're
- 6:02Speaker 1: not wrong.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And there's a reason Kevin Walsh, the chair, the new.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Chair of the Fed, hasn't got about lowering rates because there's.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Nothing to lower now. Is he gotta get things off
- 6:14Speaker 2: the balance sheet.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's what we want to see, start pulling cash right
- 6:19Speaker 1: out of the system, which will help lower inflation. The
- 6:25Speaker 1: President can't make this mistake, and it's a mistake that
- 6:30Speaker 1: has been helped by people like Scott Besson. I like Besson.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I think Besson's smart. I think Besson is an adult,
- 6:39Speaker 1: but he sometimes does things that are counter to good messaging.
- 6:45Speaker 1: He tries to spin things that simply are unspinnable. If
- 6:49Speaker 1: you're gonna have tariffs, costs, you're gonna be higher the
- 6:52Speaker 1: end so you can get better.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Trade deals, Show me where they are.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Maybe the trade deal is as good as you can get,
- 7:03Speaker 1: and adding the tariff just simply is too high of
- 7:06Speaker 1: a cost. I didn't say everywhere, Oh, keep the tariffs
- 7:09Speaker 1: on China, go right ahead. We've got a lot of
- 7:11Speaker 1: nations we don't need this stuff. I at least appreciate
- 7:15Speaker 1: him getting out there with this conversation that it is
- 7:18Speaker 1: not all doom and gloom. I just don't want him
- 7:22Speaker 1: to get into a place where somehow he thinks that
- 7:26Speaker 1: nothing is gone wrong.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Oh that's that is not it at all.
- 7:30Speaker 1: While the president is out there, he had a couple
- 7:33Speaker 1: other conversations.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Including utilizing some four letter words.
- 7:38Speaker 1: But one of the things that happened is he gets
- 7:40Speaker 1: up there and he invites he's talking about no tax
- 7:42Speaker 1: on tips, and he invites this couple on stage. They've
- 7:45Speaker 1: got two young kids, and one of the kids is
- 7:48Speaker 1: a baby. One of the kids is a toddler, so
- 7:50Speaker 1: dad's holding the toddler. Mom's holding the baby. The mom
- 7:54Speaker 1: is going to speak at the lecture, and she's nervous.
- 7:57Speaker 1: She hands the baby to dad. The dad puts the
- 8:00Speaker 1: toddler down, holds the kid's hand. The kid, being a toddler,
- 8:04Speaker 1: runs over to mom, wants to be near mom, and
- 8:07Speaker 1: then the kid kind of darts off to the side
- 8:10Speaker 1: of the stage. Trump, at the age of eighty, does
- 8:16Speaker 1: a full grandpa maneuver and kind of trots over a
- 8:20Speaker 1: little faster than you thought Trump could move to make
- 8:23Speaker 1: sure the kid doesn't fall off the stage. Boom, he
- 8:26Speaker 1: moves over, and then he yells out to the crowd.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I didn't want him to be like Biden and fall
- 8:34Speaker 1: for the political left, not bad for a guy with dementia. Right,
- 8:41Speaker 1: the left wants to keep talking about Trump's not okay,
- 8:43Speaker 1: he's mentally this, He's got dementia. That all the things
- 8:46Speaker 1: they wouldn't say about Biden they lie about Trump. Trump
- 8:49Speaker 1: is aware, he is prepared, he knows where he's at,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and he's still able to move.
- 8:57Speaker 2: All the proof you need was in that one video clip.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think Fox News still has it at the top
- 9:02Speaker 1: of their page over at foxnews dot Com.
- 9:04Speaker 2: You should check it out.
