- 0:01Speaker 1: Football is back, and this is Believe, your home for
- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL and college football news and analysis all season long.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Now, let's start the show. So I bought a giant
- 0:15Speaker 2: bag of Mexican candy. We have absolutely no idea what
- 0:22Speaker 2: most of this stuff is. I feel like some of
- 0:23Speaker 2: it looks amazing. Some of it probably looks threatening. Is
- 0:28Speaker 2: that a tough word? really likes putting chili on a
- 0:33Speaker 2: lot of things that I don't think needs chili. So
- 0:36Speaker 2: we're going to try as much of this as possible
- 0:40Speaker 2: until we find two things. The best Mexican candy in
- 0:42Speaker 2: this entire bag and the one that we're never putting
- 0:45Speaker 2: in our mouths again. Does that sound like a plan?
- 0:48Speaker 3: Crew? Yes.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Yes, it sounds like a plan.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Wow, we actually got the crew to agree on something
- 0:53Speaker 2: and you're probably thinking, who's here? Last week, it was me, Colden, Evan,
- 0:57Speaker 2: a bunch of dudes, and one girl, Isla. But this week,
- 1:01Speaker 2: We have Avery, Lo, who is super excited for this, Isla, Meg,
- 1:05Speaker 2: and me. So it's all the girls and back to
- 1:08Speaker 2: just one boy.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Hi.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Well, I'm a man. Lo, why are you so excited
- 1:12Speaker 2: for this one?
- 1:13Speaker 3: I don't know. I just am.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. Avery, what's your thoughts? You've been up
- 1:18Speaker 2: for about 37 seconds. Are you excited to try some
- 1:22Speaker 2: Mexican candy for breakfast lunch?
- 1:24Speaker 4: Um, no.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Fair enough. What about you, Isla?
- 1:27Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Okay. We're off to a great start. Avery, why are
- 1:31Speaker 2: you not excited for this?
- 1:33Speaker 4: Because I looked in the bag and it looks disgusting.
- 1:36Speaker 3: What?
- 1:37Speaker 2: If you had to, because obviously a lot of these
- 1:39Speaker 2: people might just be listening to it. What defines disgusting
- 1:43Speaker 2: looking candy?
- 1:46Speaker 4: I don't know. Just not appealing.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Oh, like a banana. Not appealing. Interesting.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Yeah. There's some stuff with like red on it and
- 1:58Speaker 4: I just look spicy.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I have, that's, that's kind of my thing is I
- 2:02Speaker 2: feel like there is going to be some spice.
- 2:04Speaker 5: I agree.
- 2:05Speaker 2: And as I see that my thumb is on something
- 2:07Speaker 2: that says extra spicy picante. How many of you can
- 2:12Speaker 2: speak Spanish and not like go to Mexico and be like,
- 2:16Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like how many of you
- 2:21Speaker 2: think you can speak Spanish at a pre-kindergarten level? Avery?
- 2:26Speaker 3: Not me.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Don't you take Spanish? No. Oh, you take French, don't you?
- 2:30Speaker 5: No, I took French.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You took French.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I took Spanish and almost failed. And then never took
- 2:36Speaker 3: it again.
- 2:36Speaker 2: All right. Well, so I think that's going to be
- 2:39Speaker 2: a little bit of the fun. We are going to
- 2:41Speaker 2: say some things that are completely wrong. So if you
- 2:45Speaker 2: do speak Spanish, feel free to make fun of us.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But this is what we're going to do. It's going
- 2:50Speaker 2: to get crazy loud for a minute. I'm going to
- 2:51Speaker 2: let Lowe dump all 50 pieces on to the table.
- 2:54Speaker 2: All right, and then I'm going to ask you guys
- 2:56Speaker 2: some questions as you see it. Lo, you play softball
- 2:58Speaker 2: wearing your Stargazers thing. Here comes the pitch. The line
- 3:02Speaker 2: drive popped out.
- 3:03Speaker 6: It's out.
- 3:03Speaker 2: All right, so Lo's going to open this up. All right,
- 3:06Speaker 2: so while she's opening it up, I'm going to turn
- 3:08Speaker 2: her mic all the way down so it's not as
- 3:11Speaker 2: loud because we got this new fancy piece of equipment
- 3:13Speaker 2: because we were sick of sounding like robots. And I
- 3:15Speaker 2: do apologize for last week's episode sounding like a robot.
- 3:21Speaker 2: We had some technical difficulties there. But hopefully we don't
- 3:25Speaker 2: sound like a robot again this week. They can't hear it,
- 3:31Speaker 2: but that's some fun for me. All right, so as
- 3:34Speaker 2: they're doing this, they're sorting. So the candy is on
- 3:35Speaker 2: the table. We're going to go round robin here. Avery,
- 3:38Speaker 2: what do you think looks the best in Isla? Meg,
- 3:41Speaker 2: you guys are staring at this 50-piece pile of candy.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Do you think there's really 50? And what looks the best?
- 3:48Speaker 4: This looks the best.
- 3:49Speaker 2: What is this? Say it.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Trying to figure it out. It's a lollipop.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's a lollipop, all right. I want you to try
- 3:57Speaker 2: to speak Spanish and see what it says.
- 4:01Speaker 4: De la Rosa.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Ooh, so that means something pink. Ooh, look at that. Isla, Meg,
- 4:07Speaker 2: what are you guys seeing over there?
- 4:08Speaker 6: I think the purple one looks the best, like the
- 4:11Speaker 6: one that's Scott.
- 4:13Speaker 2: The one that's Scott?
- 4:14Speaker 4: No.
- 4:17Speaker 2: She's going to grab that. Avery's excited. What did you find?
- 4:20Speaker 4: It's cherry flavored.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Ooh, okay. All right. Isla, what's the purple one? Did
- 4:25Speaker 2: Lo hand it to you? Hand that over to her,
- 4:29Speaker 2: the purple one, please. What do you think purple is
- 4:33Speaker 2: in Spanish, Isla?
- 4:34Speaker 6: I don't know how to say it.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Try it, though. That's the fun. All right, let me try. Oh,
- 4:44Speaker 2: this is scary looking. I believe it says Lucas. Lucas.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It says Lucas Moicas.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Chande.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Chamo-flavored lollipop with chili powder. Oh, boy. That looks like
- 5:02Speaker 2: it's interesting. Lo, you get over there. I'll put your
- 5:05Speaker 2: mic back on.
- 5:06Speaker 6: I just saw it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: All right, Lo, looking at that, you just went through
- 5:09Speaker 2: some stuff. What do you think? Which one looks the best? Meg,
- 5:12Speaker 2: you got one that looks the best?
- 5:14Speaker 3: I do.
- 5:14Speaker 5: What is it? I have one that intrigues me.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Let me guess. The banana one.
- 5:19Speaker 5: No.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Oh.
- 5:20Speaker 5: It looks like it might be a Pickle lollipop?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Ooh, interesting. Mexico knows how to party. All right, so Lo?
- 5:30Speaker 5: I could be wrong.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Nope, I think you're right.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Oh, it's a pickle-flavored one?
- 5:35Speaker 6: I love pickles.
- 5:36Speaker 2: So Meg's thinking that. Lo, what are you thinking looks
- 5:38Speaker 2: the best so far?
- 5:39Speaker 3: Um, I don't, they all are very interesting.
- 5:44Speaker 2: If you had to pick one that caught your eye,
- 5:46Speaker 2: the very first one.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Um, this. Roccaletta.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Ooh, okay. Definitely sounds Spanish. Now say it like you're
- 5:56Speaker 2: speaking Spanish.
- 5:57Speaker 3: No.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Which one looks the scariest to you guys?
- 6:03Speaker 4: The green and red one.
- 6:05Speaker 2: It's the green and red one, though.
- 6:07Speaker 4: No, the big one.
- 6:09Speaker 3: The big one?
- 6:09Speaker 5: The package.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It is.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Squingles. It's the spaghetti. It's also Lucas... And the powder,
- 6:21Speaker 3: I've seen these on TikTok. I'm pretty sure you put
- 6:22Speaker 3: the powder on the spaghetti. Interesting.
- 6:27Speaker 2: How is spaghetti Mexican?
- 6:29Speaker 3: It's gummy spaghetti.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 6:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I was going to say, like, when I was looking
- 6:36Speaker 6: at the bag, the first thing that intrigued me were those.
- 6:39Speaker 6: But once we opened it, I saw.
- 6:42Speaker 3: The purple thing.
- 6:43Speaker 2: So the purple, it looks the best and the scariest?
- 6:47Speaker 6: No, the purple thing. Bottle looks the scariest.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Okay.
- 6:51Speaker 2: But... So you knew the question ahead of time. You
- 6:54Speaker 2: answered question two before question one. I got you. Meg,
- 6:57Speaker 2: which one's scaring you over there?
- 6:58Speaker 5: The one in the black package.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Oh, boy.
- 7:00Speaker 5: With the red flaming.
- 7:01Speaker 3: That was the one I was most intrigued about.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Throw that over here. Rita Avers, what's it say?
- 7:06Speaker 4: Four... Chili, four layers, and gum center lollipop.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yikes. Okay.
- 7:15Speaker 6: So.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Does anybody actually recognize anything other than the one that
- 7:18Speaker 2: you potentially saw on the old tickety-tock load? Does anybody
- 7:21Speaker 2: look at this and be like, oh, I've seen this before?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Or are these all pretty unique?
- 7:24Speaker 3: These little gum packets.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You've seen them before? Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Mr.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Durant has those in my classroom.
- 7:29Speaker 6: I haven't, but I was, like, wondering what those were.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Oh, so they're just packets of gum?
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 2: You can chuck one over. See that? Making a play
- 7:36Speaker 2: over here.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Are the red ones spicy?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Canals, chewing gum, cinnamon flavored. Much different. Oh, is it
- 7:43Speaker 2: four different pieces?
- 7:44Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I was thinking it was like one piece that was like, wow,
- 7:47Speaker 2: that is different. The Mexican candy is a stack of four.
- 7:49Speaker 2: That's huge.
- 7:50Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I'm an idiot.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Peppermint.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Peppermint. All right. So I think this is what we're
- 7:59Speaker 2: going to have to do here. We're going to pick
- 8:02Speaker 2: our candy leader. That's going to be low. It's all
- 8:06Speaker 2: in front of you. But I think this is what
- 8:08Speaker 2: we do. I think everyone takes a turn picking something.
- 8:12Speaker 2: And once you touch it, you have to eat it.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Hmm?
- 8:18Speaker 2: That way you can't go through this whole entire thing.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Unless it was overly organized. I can't see the pile
- 8:23Speaker 2: of candy just from where I'm sitting.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It's organized. I split it into like what is duplicated.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Gotcha.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Do we put it into something and you have to
- 8:32Speaker 2: randomly pick it? Or do we get to pick for
- 8:34Speaker 2: the first round what you want?
- 8:36Speaker 3: I think first round pick and then we can put
- 8:38Speaker 3: it all into a bag.
- 8:38Speaker 6: Okay.
- 8:39Speaker 2: So since you are the leader, Lo, you are going
- 8:42Speaker 2: to pick the current best candy in... physically put it
- 8:46Speaker 2: somewhere separate. And then we're going to try to determine
- 8:49Speaker 2: the champion. Every good candy afterward has to beat it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So you're going to look first, pick one and be like,
- 8:55Speaker 2: this is the best candy. We haven't tried it yet,
- 8:59Speaker 2: but then we're going to go through and we're going
- 9:00Speaker 2: to see which one can beat it. And at the
- 9:02Speaker 2: end of it, you know, we're going to, we're going
- 9:04Speaker 2: to try our best to, you know, this one's terrible.
- 9:07Speaker 2: This one's good. Maybe we have a rating and we're
- 9:08Speaker 2: going to see which one is the champ. And there
- 9:10Speaker 2: can only be one at one time. So when we
- 9:12Speaker 2: try one, does it beat the champ? Yes or no.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And it's simple. Yes or no. And then when it
- 9:17Speaker 2: beats it, whatever stays, stays. What do we think? Okay,
- 9:23Speaker 2: so we're going to go with the spaghetti and the
- 9:26Speaker 2: liquid junk. That's going to be the champion.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Powder.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Powder, whatever it is. That's the champion. It's going to
- 9:31Speaker 2: be there. And even if we have to try it
- 9:33Speaker 2: towards the end, that's the one right now that everyone
- 9:36Speaker 2: has to beat at some point. Which is going to
- 9:39Speaker 2: be tough because nobody's tried it. Maybe Lo has to
- 9:41Speaker 2: try it first.
- 9:42Speaker 5: I have a question.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Are the little yellow packets, are those candies or is
- 9:46Speaker 5: that like a seasoning?
- 9:47Speaker 3: No, it's salt and lemon hot powder.
- 9:50Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 9:52Speaker 3: There's four packs of them. Do you want to see, Matt?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Alright, what are we doing? Salt and pepper hot powder.
- 10:02Speaker 2: What the heck do you do with this? I don't
- 10:05Speaker 2: think we should. Are you just going to try it?
- 10:07Speaker 3: I think you put it on candies. Yeah, you would
- 10:10Speaker 3: like dip a lollipop in it. I also, I'm reading
- 10:13Speaker 3: this purple powder and I don't know that it's supposed
- 10:16Speaker 3: to go with this, but.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I don't think it's separate. So we're going to keep it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I say we keep it separate. We're keeping it separate
- 10:23Speaker 2: because they're going to leave.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Oh, there's a lollipop in it.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I see now.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Got you. Maybe somebody on TikTok said, hey, let's just
- 10:30Speaker 2: put this here.
- 10:31Speaker 3: No, it's a different thing.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Okay. Very helpful. Let's do this. No, what I mean
- 10:40Speaker 2: by helpful, like it's helpful that you read it. So
- 10:41Speaker 2: we didn't have two as one champion. So let's go ahead.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Each person pick one thing.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Go.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Whatever you touch, you keep. I want that in my hand.
- 10:51Speaker 2: That one doesn't count. That was in my hand. That
- 10:53Speaker 2: does not count.
- 10:54Speaker 3: All right?
- 10:55Speaker 2: So since I can't see it, you guys are dictating,
- 11:01Speaker 2: and I don't know what we're going to have to
- 11:03Speaker 2: do here, or I'm going to get up. And this
- 11:05Speaker 2: is what I'll do. While you guys are talking, I'm
- 11:06Speaker 2: going to get up and pick something. So you guys
- 11:08Speaker 2: keep talking. Avery, you can start what you did. Everybody there.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And then, like I said, Lowe's got the current champion.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Would you decide for the current champion?
- 11:16Speaker 3: The spaghetti.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Okay, let's throw it over here. This is the current
- 11:21Speaker 2: champion that has to be beat. But since Lo, you
- 11:25Speaker 2: picked it as a champion, you have to open this
- 11:26Speaker 2: and you have to try it. Right now? Right now.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Since you are the leader, open that up. You try
- 11:34Speaker 2: it first. That's the champion. So then we have a baseline. Obviously,
- 11:37Speaker 2: it's going to get a little weird. So like if
- 11:39Speaker 2: Avery or me picks a lollipop, we're not going to
- 11:41Speaker 2: have Lo then try to try the same lollipop. You
- 11:44Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 11:45Speaker 4: So.
- 11:45Speaker 2: All right. Lo, try it. Talk to him. And then
- 11:49Speaker 2: I'm going to get up and try it.
- 11:50Speaker 3: First off, it smells very interesting. There's a sauce packet
- 11:55Speaker 3: in the bottom. Which this is what I was talking about.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I was going to say, that's what you're trying to
- 12:00Speaker 2: get in there.
- 12:01Speaker 3: So this goes on top of it. It's like a
- 12:03Speaker 3: liquid sauce. I'm going to open it up.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Oh, I touched this first crack.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Mine looks really good, guys. Just saying.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Oh, no. So I got up and I went to
- 12:14Speaker 2: grab something and I ended up with this. And I
- 12:17Speaker 2: don't know what it was. I was reaching for something.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I really failed. Unbelievable.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Okay. So how I'm going to go about this spaghetti
- 12:23Speaker 3: is I'm going to fold it up and then put
- 12:25Speaker 3: the sauce on and then eat it.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Okay. She's folding it up. She's putting a little bit
- 12:28Speaker 2: of sauce on there. Do we need a plate or
- 12:29Speaker 2: are you good? You got a napkin over there?
- 12:31Speaker 3: I think I got a napkin.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I picked gum.
- 12:33Speaker 6: You picked gum?
- 12:34Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I made a mess already.
- 12:36Speaker 2: So listen, while she's doing that, you guys are able
- 12:38Speaker 2: to go start trying yours. So that way when she's done. Oh,
- 12:41Speaker 2: she made. What was that face? She looked like she
- 12:47Speaker 2: just walked into a boys locker room for the first
- 12:49Speaker 2: time after they just got done a football practice.
- 12:51Speaker 3: That is not going to win.
- 12:54Speaker 2: So you picked an interest. You picked a bad camp.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Is it the sauce that makes it not a winner?
- 13:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 2: So the spaghetti itself?
- 13:03Speaker 3: The spaghetti itself is like watermelon.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Watermelon sugar?
- 13:09Speaker 3: With chili on it, I think. I'll try that by itself.
- 13:12Speaker 3: The sauce is interesting. It's like sour and it has
- 13:15Speaker 3: seasonings in it. I don't know.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Not sure about that.
- 13:23Speaker 3: The spaghetti itself is okay.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Okay.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Fair enough. Doesn't probably go in there. Avery's got a
- 13:31Speaker 2: lollipop over there. What you got going on? What's the flavor?
- 13:35Speaker 4: It's strawberry and cherry.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Is that a hand?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 13:40Speaker 2: So do you guys remember? You guys are trying. You
- 13:42Speaker 2: guys are having yours at the same time. That way
- 13:44Speaker 2: we can keep this flowing a little bit. Because we
- 13:46Speaker 2: got 50 pieces of candy roughly to get through.
- 13:49Speaker 4: This is something I already eat every day.
- 13:51Speaker 2: What's the flavor on it? What's the packaging?
- 13:55Speaker 4: Strawberry and cherry lollipop. Strawberry.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I mean, strawberry and cherry lollipop seems standard. Nothing spicy.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Nothing weird. It is a hand. Is there something on
- 14:04Speaker 2: the package that indicates why there's a hand on this?
- 14:07Speaker 4: It says talk to the hand.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Oh, okay. So, Lo, you haven't tried it. I'm sure
- 14:13Speaker 2: you're not going to eat after Avery. It's a lollipop,
- 14:15Speaker 2: but can we say confidently, is the spaghetti with the
- 14:19Speaker 2: spice better, or do you think a lollipop of that sort?
- 14:21Speaker 3: I think Avery's is definitely going to be better.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Okay, so the current champion, Avery, put your wrapper where
- 14:27Speaker 2: the candy master has it. That is our current leader.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Everything now has to beat the strawberry cherry sucker. All right, Isla,
- 14:35Speaker 2: what you got going on over there? Did you already
- 14:36Speaker 2: eat it? Oh, we're still trying. All right. I'll try
- 14:39Speaker 2: to pop this nasty thing in my mouth. Apparently, I
- 14:41Speaker 2: have a Pulpo Renado Tamarindo de la Rosa is the brand.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Hot and salted terramine fruit hard candy with real fruit.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Wow.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I can tell you it tastes like nothing.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Nothing at all.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I got nothing yet. Is it going to get?
- 15:07Speaker 4: Yep.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It's getting a little hotter. I shouldn't have said it
- 15:10Speaker 2: too early. It's not like unbearable that, oh, Meg made
- 15:13Speaker 2: a terrible face on hers. So this, in my opinion,
- 15:17Speaker 2: is not going to beat whatever Avery has going on
- 15:18Speaker 2: at this point. Maybe as it gets going a little more.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I got to know what your reaction was because you
- 15:23Speaker 2: went like almost like you grabbed a super hot Pixel watch.
- 15:28Speaker 2: This is getting hot. Charger. It burns you and you
- 15:31Speaker 2: were like.
- 15:33Speaker 5: It's actually really good. It kind of tastes like tahini
- 15:39Speaker 5: a little bit. Is that how you say it?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 2: That got hot. Oh, my God.
- 15:46Speaker 5: With pickle?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Holy crap.
- 15:59Speaker 5: It kind of tastes like pickle with tahini sauce, but
- 16:03Speaker 5: also like Sour-y sweet? I don't know. I actually like it.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I'm sure you like it, but I feel like it's
- 16:12Speaker 2: not for everybody. The question is, does it beat... Do
- 16:15Speaker 2: you want to try this hot thing?
- 16:17Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Hell.
- 16:18Speaker 5: It's a little spicy, but not like crazy. It's different.
- 16:24Speaker 2: It tastes like if I was to imagine... It looks
- 16:28Speaker 2: like a turtle. I was going to say licking a turtle,
- 16:31Speaker 2: but I've never done that.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Hmm. Matt, I have a question.
- 16:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Do you want everything back in the bag now?
- 16:40Speaker 2: You're the food master. You're in charge now. I mean,
- 16:43Speaker 2: if we tried some. So let's go this. The next one,
- 16:46Speaker 2: we're all going to pick something for somebody else.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 16:49Speaker 2: So just leave it out. That's fair. Okay. Isla, what
- 16:53Speaker 2: you got going on over there? You got some gum
- 16:54Speaker 2: or something?
- 16:54Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 16:55Speaker 6: I think, honestly, I like this gum more than I
- 17:00Speaker 6: like normal gum.
- 17:01Speaker 2: What kind of gum was it, bud?
- 17:03Speaker 6: It's. Peppermint flavored.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Bring to the mic, please.
- 17:07Speaker 6: It's peppermint flavored candy.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Candles chewing gum. But honestly, it kind of tastes like toothpaste.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Which is good.
- 17:19Speaker 2: You eat a lot of toothpaste?
- 17:20Speaker 3: Peppermint toothpaste. It does.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Like, it's really good, actually. Actually really good.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Actually really good. Did you not get any heat, Meg?
- 17:32Speaker 6: My mom's a spice queen. What can I say?
- 17:34Speaker 5: Not yet. It kind of tastes like peach.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Maybe he got all the spice out of the way.
- 17:39Speaker 2: All right, so after round one, can anything beat what
- 17:41Speaker 2: Avery has gone on, or is that the champ?
- 17:43Speaker 4: Do you want to smell it?
- 17:45Speaker 3: No. I think Avery's is winning currently.
- 17:47Speaker 2: All right, we're going to go with that. Round one's over.
- 17:50Speaker 2: If you need to spit out gum, if you need
- 17:51Speaker 2: to refresh the palate, that's fine. So everybody, for this round,
- 17:57Speaker 2: let's call it the danger zone. I don't know. Each person...
- 18:01Speaker 2: now chooses one candy for somebody else.
- 18:05Speaker 3: I want to pick for Matt.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Okay, Lo's picking for me. I'm picking for Avery. Meg
- 18:12Speaker 2: is picking for Isla, and Isla is picking for Meg.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Does that seem fair?
- 18:15Speaker 4: So I'm picking for Lo?
- 18:16Speaker 2: And you're picking for Lo.
- 18:19Speaker 6: I would have picked the worst candy for Avery.
- 18:21Speaker 2: All right, so everybody pick one. That way we can try.
- 18:25Speaker 2: That way I can get up and pick for somebody.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I got yours.
- 18:29Speaker 2: All right, chuck it over. What do we got here?
- 18:35Speaker 2: Is there a boo sound effect on this? Um, no.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Low picked out. Chileta mango. It's going to be a
- 18:52Speaker 2: hard candy lollipop mango flavor coated with chili. It looks
- 18:58Speaker 2: absolutely disgusting.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Ew.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Who picked that for you?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Flo. Thanks, Flo.
- 19:04Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 19:05Speaker 2: It is covered with chili, and I'm going to be miserable. Okay.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Everybody else picked one for somebody else?
- 19:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:11Speaker 4: I picked the big, hot, and spicy ball for Flo.
- 19:16Speaker 3: The racoleta that I said was most intriguing.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:22Speaker 4: All right.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Why don't we try them out, and then I'm going
- 19:24Speaker 2: to get up and pick out something for Avery. This
- 19:26Speaker 2: is not going to be enjoyable.
- 19:30Speaker 5: I'm... Mine has a picture on it of a bomb.
- 19:34Speaker 3: A bomb.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Let me see that. Oh, you picked this out for
- 19:39Speaker 2: your mom?
- 19:42Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I can tell you that I am not going overly
- 19:47Speaker 2: hard on this one. Oh, my God. This smells worse
- 19:51Speaker 2: than driving by a farm that just sprayed manure. This
- 19:55Speaker 2: is absolutely disgusting. Thanks, Lo.
- 19:59Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 20:01Speaker 2: All right. Well, here we go. I'm trying mine. Oh,
- 20:05Speaker 2: I got to get something for Avery. You guys try yours.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Talking to the camera, what you got going on? Lo
- 20:09Speaker 2: just smelled Megs and made a, oh, oh, that's going
- 20:11Speaker 2: to be bad look. What are you guys thinking?
- 20:18Speaker 4: Isla, you licked yours. What are you thinking?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Oh.
- 20:21Speaker 6: I don't think it's bad. I just don't like bubblegum.
- 20:25Speaker 4: It's cherry. It's cherry flavored.
- 20:27Speaker 6: This is bubblegum.
- 20:29Speaker 3: This is interesting.
- 20:30Speaker 5: It does have little bubbles all over it. I'm scared
- 20:32Speaker 5: to use this.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Taste this before.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Your tongue is green. Mine is like sour and chilly.
- 20:41Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 20:49Speaker 2: This is one of the grossest things that I've ever
- 20:51Speaker 2: put on my tongue. Does anybody else want to try?
- 20:53Speaker 2: I only licked one side.
- 20:55Speaker 4: I want to.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Oh, all right. I licked this side.
- 20:59Speaker 4: This is spicy watermelon.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yeah. So, Avery, you got the same exact thing as me,
- 21:05Speaker 2: but I went watermelon. So the side facing you. You
- 21:07Speaker 2: want to just lick a little?
- 21:09Speaker 5: Okay.
- 21:10Speaker 3: I want to try it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: This isn't as scary as I thought it was going
- 21:13Speaker 1: to be.
- 21:13Speaker 5: At least not yet. Kind of tastes like cherry cola.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I feel like you have to get a full.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I think it's kind of good.
- 21:24Speaker 6: That tastes like cherry cola.
- 21:26Speaker 5: This is delicious.
- 21:27Speaker 6: See, I'm very nice to you now.
- 21:29Speaker 5: I was scared.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Do you want this, Lo?
- 21:31Speaker 5: This is like cherry cola.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Maybe, yeah.
- 21:33Speaker 5: I want that. Oh, look at the stick.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Lowell, how's yours?
- 21:40Speaker 3: It's interesting.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Avery said, oh, it tastes like spicy watermelon. Great? Not great?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Or just... I like it. Does it beat the sucker
- 21:47Speaker 2: you had? No.
- 21:47Speaker 4: This is literally cherry cola.
- 21:49Speaker 3: This is like... It's spicy and chilly and sour.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I like this.
- 21:57Speaker 2: You like the one that I had? You and Lowell
- 22:00Speaker 2: both said you liked it.
- 22:03Speaker 4: I don't.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I was not a fan of that either.
- 22:06Speaker 4: It's getting really spicy.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Your watermelon spicy one?
- 22:09Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 22:10Speaker 2: That is a huge lollipop, though.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Very interesting.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I like that.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Yours tastes like something I've had before.
- 22:26Speaker 2: The smell, it's brutal. I did not like it. So
- 22:31Speaker 2: we've all tried some stuff, Isla.
- 22:34Speaker 6: I like that because I can't have soju.
- 22:35Speaker 4: I just smelled that.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And is it hot? What's it smell like? You just
- 22:39Speaker 2: smelled it, and you're covering your mouth and your nose.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Disgust-ness.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Not great, though. Your face is.
- 22:44Speaker 4: It has, like, every single thing you could possibly think
- 22:48Speaker 4: of in the scent.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Smells like bird food.
- 22:55Speaker 2: This does taste like some kind of soda, and I'm
- 22:57Speaker 2: not a soda drinker.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Me neither.
- 22:58Speaker 6: I actually really like it, because I can't drink soda
- 23:01Speaker 6: without it coming out my nose.
- 23:03Speaker 3: What?
- 23:03Speaker 2: What did you have over there? Did you like it,
- 23:05Speaker 2: or was it meh? For the candy this round.
- 23:08Speaker 6: Thinking of other people's perspective.
- 23:12Speaker 2: What is it?
- 23:12Speaker 3: Perspective.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 6: I think they would like it. I just don't like
- 23:16Speaker 6: bubblegum flavored thing.
- 23:19Speaker 4: This is cherry.
- 23:20Speaker 5: It tastes like a cherry bubblegum.
- 23:22Speaker 2: All right. So keeping this moving. Can anything beat the
- 23:27Speaker 2: current champ?
- 23:28Speaker 3: No.
- 23:29Speaker 2: All right. Now we got to go with the speed round.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Actually.
- 23:32Speaker 2: There are a lot of candy left.
- 23:34Speaker 3: It's similar. Yes.
- 23:35Speaker 6: I think that cherry one should win.
- 23:37Speaker 2: We've already moved on. Nobody said the cherry wins wins.
- 23:40Speaker 2: We're still with the first one. So everybody grabs four
- 23:43Speaker 2: pieces of something they haven't had. It's got to be
- 23:45Speaker 2: a speed round. You got to try. You got to bite.
- 23:47Speaker 2: You got to react. We got to keep it moving
- 23:50Speaker 2: and see if anything can be there.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Four pieces?
- 23:52Speaker 2: We got 50. We've only been through eight. So in theory,
- 23:55Speaker 2: we should have 42 pieces left. And we have five
- 23:58Speaker 2: minutes left of recording. So just grab things. We got
- 24:02Speaker 2: to go rapid fire. Don't even look. Just grabbing. You're trying.
- 24:04Speaker 2: You're trying.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Okay, I got my four. I'm going to open the
- 24:10Speaker 4: first thing.
- 24:11Speaker 2: So get right through them. Speed round. Try them. Go
- 24:13Speaker 2: for them.
- 24:15Speaker 4: The first thing I have is a chili pineapple lollipop. Okay.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Because, Lo, did you say, though, as you guys are
- 24:21Speaker 2: opening and trying, is there.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I mean, you.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Could try it while you're going. Was there a lot
- 24:27Speaker 2: of duplicates or was it 50 unique pieces?
- 24:29Speaker 3: There was a couple duplicates, but not many.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Not as many. Okay. So try as much as we can.
- 24:34Speaker 2: And then if we just kind of look at some
- 24:36Speaker 2: stuff and you're like, no, this is definitely not going
- 24:37Speaker 2: to beat the champ, then we just leave it. You
- 24:39Speaker 2: guys can try them at some other point. Bring them
- 24:40Speaker 2: to your friends, whatever.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Absolutely not.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I don't know what this is. I'm really scared. It's slimy.
- 24:48Speaker 6: It smells and tastes like cat pee.
- 24:51Speaker 5: It's soft.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 24:53Speaker 3: I'm scared. I tried to pull it out with my
- 24:56Speaker 3: teeth and it broke.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It does not taste like pineapple.
- 25:03Speaker 2: That looks terrible. Everything's got chili powder on it. Flo
- 25:07Speaker 2: is grossed out.
- 25:08Speaker 5: It was an instant what did I just do moment.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I can't.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 25:14Speaker 2: So that could be the worst?
- 25:15Speaker 3: That is disgusting.
- 25:16Speaker 5: What is it?
- 25:17Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:19Speaker 5: This is good. Is this the same thing I have?
- 25:23Speaker 3: Yes, yours is a different flavor though. Wait, let me
- 25:25Speaker 3: see yours. Is it brown or green?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Brown.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Here.
- 25:28Speaker 2: This is just watermelon. Plain watermelon?
- 25:33Speaker 3: They're, like, slimy, but they're supposed to be hard, I think.
- 25:36Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 25:38Speaker 2: No.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Oh, no, I'm scared.
- 25:43Speaker 2: A lot of scare.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Why didn't I pick this one?
- 25:46Speaker 6: It's the main one.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I'm excited for this one.
- 25:47Speaker 4: This is extra spicy, and I just put it in
- 25:49Speaker 4: my mouth.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I think this one's going to be good. Caramello la... Cueta?
- 25:55Speaker 2: Sounds something Mexican.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Not extra spicy.
- 26:01Speaker 6: Hmm.
- 26:03Speaker 5: It sounds delicious.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Hand me the wrapper.
- 26:07Speaker 4: I can't tell what the taste is.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So we got a delicious. It's the first one we've
- 26:09Speaker 2: heard delicious for a little while. It is a Caramello
- 26:12Speaker 2: La Vaquita, which... Yuck.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Covered in chili powder.
- 26:18Speaker 2: What kind of profile, like taste-wise, do you got, Meg? Oh, look,
- 26:24Speaker 2: it's right there. I know what the answer is.
- 26:26Speaker 5: It's a caramel.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Butterscotch.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Yeah, butterscotch.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I have one right here.
- 26:30Speaker 5: That's the why it's... I kind of figured out what
- 26:32Speaker 5: it tastes like, but it was familiar.
- 26:33Speaker 4: This beats the lollipop. This is not disgusting. Really good.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Which one you got over there?
- 26:41Speaker 4: The same thing she used, but no.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Okay, Meg and Avery are both agreeing that we have
- 26:45Speaker 2: a new champ. I trust them. Do you trust them, though?
- 26:49Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever I just ate. Again, I can't. The banana?
- 26:56Speaker 6: No.
- 26:57Speaker 3: It's supposed to be like something with fruit, and it's
- 27:00Speaker 3: soft and....
- 27:02Speaker 2: Whatever that is, Abe, I don't know. Was that supposed
- 27:05Speaker 2: to be good? That looks nasty.
- 27:07Speaker 6: I just touched it with my tongue right there.
- 27:10Speaker 4: It's chili powder covered mango lollipop.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Oh, that's what I'm opening this up for.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Okay, we don't need to open them both?
- 27:19Speaker 3: I'm about to try a chili pepper powder covered strawberry lollipop.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Wow, say that five times fast.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I like this.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I'm good with this butterscotch in my mouth.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Can't even open it.
- 27:30Speaker 6: I think this should at least be on the pyramid.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Which one is that, Isla? Hand me the wrapper, please.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Bomb.
- 27:38Speaker 4: You do it.
- 27:41Speaker 2: This is Isla's consideration. It is a Bomba Sandia. Hey.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Are you regretting saying that you love it? Are you
- 27:50Speaker 2: trying that?
- 27:50Speaker 6: No, I'm trying this.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Go get it.
- 27:52Speaker 5: That looks scary.
- 27:54Speaker 4: You got it. Just put it in your mouth.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I'm not hanging it in my mouth. The one that
- 27:58Speaker 2: Isla has smells awful.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Is it watermelon flavored? I don't like watermelon.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Oh, Lo's struggling. What happened? What happened, Lo? Your face
- 28:08Speaker 2: is a different shade of red. It's like the red
- 28:10Speaker 2: on the Mexican flag.
- 28:11Speaker 4: It's the same thing you're trying, but strawberry.
- 28:14Speaker 5: Hers is mango.
- 28:15Speaker 3: This is gross. That is gross.
- 28:18Speaker 5: I don't mind those.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I think maybe it will be good on the inside.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Try this one.
- 28:23Speaker 2: But we're not going to quite get there, are we?
- 28:25Speaker 3: I don't think so. Do we have the same one?
- 28:27Speaker 6: Try this one.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Mine is strawberry.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Yeah, the same.
- 28:31Speaker 6: It's too salty.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, mine is also salty.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 28:36Speaker 5: You can't do it.
- 28:38Speaker 2: All right. So we've tried quite a bit. Let's do this,
- 28:41Speaker 2: seeing how it's getting a little closer. I feel like
- 28:44Speaker 2: we've hit the 50 piece pretty decent. Is there anything
- 28:47Speaker 2: else looking low since you are the candy master? That
- 28:50Speaker 2: we have to try. Because at this point right now,
- 28:52Speaker 2: it looks like the caramel.
- 28:55Speaker 3: No, this is what I just ate.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Lo, is that where we're at? The caramel is the
- 28:59Speaker 2: champion currently?
- 29:00Speaker 3: I think so.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Can you look around at all the candy, what we tried?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Is there anything that we need to try? Because what
- 29:05Speaker 2: we're building for is I want to build a quick
- 29:06Speaker 2: final four.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Avery's saying this, but I just ate the mini versions
- 29:10Speaker 3: of these and they were gross.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Wait, where's the mini version?
- 29:13Speaker 3: This. Try it.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Oh, Meg got a hot one. Did you try one
- 29:18Speaker 2: of those, Lo?
- 29:22Speaker 3: No, that's the one I spit out immediately.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Oh, it's stuck in the middle.
- 29:28Speaker 2: That's Avery. Oh, Avery does not like that.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the same one.
- 29:32Speaker 2: It looked like you just spit out a snail.
- 29:34Speaker 5: It's these.
- 29:35Speaker 2: That super spicy one? Nah, I'm good. man it's these
- 29:39Speaker 2: it looks like.
- 29:40Speaker 1: It's like a gummy in there this mango one's really
- 29:43Speaker 1: good okay she says all right so let's build a
- 29:46Speaker 1: final four is there is there one that sticks out
- 29:49Speaker 1: the absolute worst.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Um this one that i've tried why.
- 29:54Speaker 2: In the world did mexico do this what what is
- 29:56Speaker 2: like What is the worst? What's the one where you're like,
- 30:01Speaker 2: come on, Mexico? Oh, that one? Is it the same
- 30:04Speaker 2: one that Meg just tried, too?
- 30:05Speaker 5: Different flavor.
- 30:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Same candy.
- 30:07Speaker 2: What is the package looking like? Do you have one
- 30:12Speaker 2: that's not open?
- 30:13Speaker 4: I think Gladly finished this.
- 30:16Speaker 2: See that play? All right. So the one that we
- 30:19Speaker 2: are deeming, why did Mexico do this, is the pica tamarind.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Which is different flavors. It's a Vero brand. I mean,
- 30:29Speaker 2: these just look.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Brutal.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Mine is a melon flavor of some sort.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Was yours good, Mom?
- 30:37Speaker 6: No.
- 30:39Speaker 4: No.
- 30:40Speaker 2: That was the Why Did Mexico Do This Round brought
- 30:42Speaker 2: to you by Vero. Because why did you do that, Mexico?
- 30:45Speaker 6: All right.
- 30:45Speaker 2: With that being said, let's go ahead. Let's pick a
- 30:47Speaker 2: final four. Can we all agree on a final four?
- 30:51Speaker 2: I feel like the sucker that Avery had. Is in it.
- 30:53Speaker 2: The butterscotch, caramello, whatever, are in it. So we have two.
- 30:59Speaker 5: I love this one.
- 31:01Speaker 6: I love this one.
- 31:02Speaker 5: The pickle one.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Let me try it.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Is there anything that you tried, Lo, that deserves final four?
- 31:09Speaker 2: Or did you just get, like me, mas terrible?
- 31:14Speaker 3: Everything. I didn't keep a single thing in my mouth.
- 31:17Speaker 4: What about this?
- 31:19Speaker 3: And I'm not a picky eater.
- 31:22Speaker 5: That one was good.
- 31:24Speaker 2: It's like a fruit.
- 31:25Speaker 5: This one was good.
- 31:27Speaker 4: What was that?
- 31:28Speaker 5: It tastes like a cherry cola.
- 31:29Speaker 3: All right.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Well, we need a final four. So we have the sucker.
- 31:36Speaker 2: What kind of sucker was that again, Avery?
- 31:38Speaker 4: Cherry strawberry.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Cherry strawberry sucker. We have the caramello, the butterscotch candy.
- 31:43Speaker 2: There's two. Or is there only two? Because there's not
- 31:46Speaker 2: even a final four.
- 31:47Speaker 3: I don't think there's a final four.
- 31:49Speaker 5: This one.
- 31:50Speaker 6: This one should place. This one's really, really good.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Is it the one that I have? This one?
- 31:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:55Speaker 5: All right.
- 31:56Speaker 2: This one, Isla says, deserves it. It is the Bomba Sandia.
- 32:03Speaker 2: And it even has a number three. So it is
- 32:05Speaker 2: our number three. We need one more.
- 32:07Speaker 3: They're saying this.
- 32:08Speaker 2: The cherry cola one?
- 32:09Speaker 5: No, this one's a crazy pineapple.
- 32:11Speaker 4: The pineapple one I put in my mouth and spit
- 32:13Speaker 4: it out immediately. I'll eat that one.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Lo, you think this, though, too, as well?
- 32:17Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:18Speaker 2: This is number four.
- 32:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:20Speaker 2: So that's our final four. I'm good. So it's these two,
- 32:26Speaker 2: the strawberry and the caramello.
- 32:28Speaker 6: I'm drinking water, but none of this taste will come
- 32:30Speaker 6: out of my mouth.
- 32:34Speaker 2: What are we? Okay, so we'll go the cherry sucker.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Bring it over here, Aves.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Verse.
- 32:41Speaker 2: We'll say this is the one versus the four. Which
- 32:43Speaker 2: one wins? The cherry sucker or the pineapple super.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Winning? The strawberry. The strawberry one.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Do we have? Two for cherry. One for pineapple.
- 32:56Speaker 4: That one's unopened if you want to try it.
- 32:59Speaker 5: I'm going to go pineapple.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Well, I hate pineapple. If I have to be the
- 33:03Speaker 2: deciding vote, I guess this advances.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Is what it is. Sorry, everybody. Round two is the
- 33:11Speaker 2: one that Isla picked. It even has the three. The
- 33:14Speaker 2: Bomba Sandia versus the Caramel. What is it called? The
- 33:19Speaker 2: Caramello La Vaquita. which is a butterscotch-style little candy.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Butterscotch.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Butterscotch.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I thought the butterscotch was better. I didn't try the
- 33:28Speaker 2: one that Isla did, but we're going to go with this,
- 33:31Speaker 2: so that way it's not two suckers against each other.
- 33:33Speaker 2: We got two options. Now, who is the best Mexican
- 33:37Speaker 2: candy from the bag that we bought forever ago? This
- 33:42Speaker 2: probably explains why most of this candy isn't tasting so
- 33:45Speaker 2: good and a little sticky because it's been sitting around
- 33:48Speaker 2: for a little while. The expiration date might have been
- 33:50Speaker 2: three days ago, but either way... Which one do we
- 33:52Speaker 2: think is the best Mexican candy in this ridiculous pile
- 33:57Speaker 2: that we've done here on Stay Out of My Fridge?
- 33:59Speaker 4: Butterscotch.
- 34:01Speaker 2: One for butterscotch.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Butterscotch.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Two for butterscotch.
- 34:03Speaker 6: I haven't had the butterscotch.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Isla's going to try the butterscotch. Meg shook her head.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I think she's agreeing on the butterscotch.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Butterscotch.
- 34:11Speaker 2: She awkwardly just rubbed that all over Isla's lips. Butterscotch.
- 34:15Speaker 2: So there you have it. We actually started off this
- 34:19Speaker 2: podcast agreeing that we were excited for it and we
- 34:21Speaker 2: Just a greet on a champion. The winner is the
- 34:25Speaker 2: Caramello La Vaquita Butterscotch candy from, I don't know who
- 34:34Speaker 2: the maker is. Either way, if you're buying some candy
- 34:37Speaker 2: from Mexico, this is what we decided was the best.
- 34:41Speaker 2: And again, we had a limited section. Do you think
- 34:44Speaker 2: there was actually 50 pieces of candy in there?
- 34:45Speaker 6: Yes.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Yes. There really was.
- 34:47Speaker 6: Don't underestimate that.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So what do we, we got the best, we got
- 34:52Speaker 2: the worst. What do you recommend for anybody that's buying
- 34:56Speaker 2: this low? Is it worth?
- 34:58Speaker 3: Don't buy it.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Don't buy it. Just don't buy it.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Yeah. It's an acquired taste.
- 35:05Speaker 1: It is.
- 35:05Speaker 2: It is different. Do you wish that we would have
- 35:07Speaker 2: went with the other option?
- 35:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Because we were going to travel to Turkey and do
- 35:13Speaker 2: some stuff around the world, but we decided, hey, we're
- 35:16Speaker 2: doing Mexican candy, so. Anybody else have anything to say?
- 35:20Speaker 2: I can tell you right now that I guess none
- 35:24Speaker 2: of these are going to be left over. So you
- 35:25Speaker 2: guys don't have to worry about staying out of my
- 35:27Speaker 2: fridge because these are probably going to end up in
- 35:30Speaker 2: the trash.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:32Speaker 2: If any of the other stuff, Lo, you do have
- 35:34Speaker 2: soccer practice, if you want to bring them to your
- 35:36Speaker 2: friends and say, do you guys want to try Mexico candy?
- 35:39Speaker 2: You are more than welcome.
- 35:40Speaker 3: I should ask the exchange student. I think she's coming today.
- 35:42Speaker 2: She's from Brazil. Much different.
- 35:44Speaker 4: It doesn't matter.
- 35:46Speaker 2: I mean, yes, it still can, but either way.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Because I know none of my friends are going to.
- 35:49Speaker 2: So then you'll get a little feedback from Mexican candy,
- 35:52Speaker 2: and we'll go from there. Sound good? Yep. All right. Well,
- 35:56Speaker 2: I appreciate you girls doing this. That's all we got.
- 35:59Speaker 2: We'll be back next week. Take care, everybody.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 36:02Speaker 6: Bye-bye.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Bye.
- 36:05Speaker 3: If you liked the.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Show, please take a moment to rate, review, and subscribe.
- 36:10Speaker 1: It really does help the show to grow.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Thank you for listening.
