- 12:04Speaker 3: drive on K from ninety four point five. Cassidy J.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Nicholson.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Hey, I just want to give you a little idea
- 12:09Speaker 3: of just what I was thinking. Okay, before we bring
- 12:12Speaker 3: the guest in. It's very important. I asked the guest.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Look here, I said, Matthew Mole, how are the prices
- 12:18Speaker 3: to everything? I do?
- 12:20Speaker 2: Have to cause me?
- 12:21Speaker 3: Carl Wastey, I got in Matthew Moska Carrie, and I
- 12:24Speaker 3: asked him. I said, dude, what do you think of
- 12:25Speaker 3: what the prices?
- 12:26Speaker 2: You know what he said to me, we all fall down.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And I fell down as well when I saw most
- 12:32Speaker 3: of the prices that are coming to me. And then
- 12:34Speaker 3: I thought, like, what are we going to do? Like,
- 12:36Speaker 3: because the thing is, if I have my stock and
- 12:39Speaker 3: your stock, what are we going to do?
- 12:41Speaker 2: You're not take you see, that's great advice because then
- 12:45Speaker 2: we can have our own stock together. That makes a
- 12:47Speaker 2: lot of sense, you know what I'm saying.
- 12:49Speaker 3: But then at the same time, we thought we should
- 12:50Speaker 3: be sharing more and we need to let each other,
- 12:52Speaker 3: you know, adore each other.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Love. That's how we go closer.
- 12:57Speaker 5: Oh a nice guy, I know.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Do you know how reassuring he was in that moment
- 13:02Speaker 3: when you're tatting about the price of groceries, Like he said,
- 13:04Speaker 3: he was actually going to be like like, stay by
- 13:07Speaker 3: my side.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I'm with you. I'm with you.
- 13:12Speaker 6: And you really do need someone, especially for the high
- 13:14Speaker 6: shelves exactly.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I need someone that's gonna help me and give me
- 13:17Speaker 2: a booster because when they's so high, I'm like, oh
- 13:19Speaker 2: my gosh, oh my gosh, lady. Yeah, it's tough.
- 13:24Speaker 6: It is tough, because I mean I know as well,
- 13:27Speaker 6: you know, I'm also teen.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Exactly when you get the shops, then you have to
- 13:30Speaker 3: like hold right, yes.
- 13:34Speaker 5: You can't because the thing is stuff just thinking about.
- 13:37Speaker 3: It because but you can't because sometimes the security sees
- 13:40Speaker 3: you hanging it and then you have to run.
- 13:46Speaker 2: You have to run away.
- 13:48Speaker 6: I didn't think I'd be reliving this trauma right now
- 13:50Speaker 6: exactly that Matthew was there.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Matthew's only high prices. It's also the high shelves that
- 13:57Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. And I'm just saying, like,
- 13:59Speaker 3: if they want to actually again right.
- 14:00Speaker 5: And you go see me again.
- 14:04Speaker 3: They actually have to drop the shelves if they actually
- 14:06Speaker 3: want my business again, all right, they should, and then
- 14:09Speaker 3: I can bring that to all back to shop with me,
- 14:10Speaker 3: and then you'll be like, you know, and he said
- 14:17Speaker 3: he's gonna be okay in that song, Yes, yes, exactly.
- 14:19Speaker 2: He reiterates that.
- 14:23Speaker 6: And you know what, it's also great because he's not
- 14:26Speaker 6: taking his experience to lift you up.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Now he can enjoy being by.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Your side exactly, but at the same time he does sometimes.
- 14:33Speaker 3: You'll let me go a little bit. But then I
- 14:34Speaker 3: realized that's correct. But the thing is about him is
- 14:37Speaker 3: that we share similar likes in music. Oh yeah, because
- 14:41Speaker 3: the thing is when we get very upset when we
- 14:43Speaker 3: don't see each other. Because the last time I saw
- 14:44Speaker 3: him was fifteen May four.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Like, I just child in my room and I listen
- 14:48Speaker 2: to my own music. Right, sing.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Tusk me.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Please, we'll come the man himself. It is Matthew Mole
- 15:05Speaker 3: and on the flash drive.
- 15:06Speaker 9: Come on, Oh my, you know you don't run out
- 15:10Speaker 9: of ideas. That was insane. That's amazing. Sorry, good insane,
- 15:14Speaker 9: good insane. My mind is blown. That's amazing. But I
- 15:17Speaker 9: have the same problems in the shop, so that might
- 15:19Speaker 9: be why I have all those feelings.
- 15:20Speaker 8: Except I'm connect with you guys on that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Thank you very much, just like that.
- 15:24Speaker 3: You my brother. You know you look well rested. You
- 15:29Speaker 3: looked because I haven't shaved, man, that's true.
- 15:32Speaker 2: You look balanced. What is what has been going on? Man?
- 15:35Speaker 2: It's nice to see you in the studio again. Oh man,
- 15:37Speaker 2: Thank you all, Thank you guys for letting me be here.
- 15:39Speaker 9: To hang out your not Yeah, lots has been happening.
- 15:42Speaker 9: I was gonna say not much lots, but yeah, I
- 15:46Speaker 9: haven't seen you, as you say, since May twenty four.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yes, that's crazy.
- 15:51Speaker 9: We've spoken on the phone of bit and since then
- 15:53Speaker 9: I moved to Cape Town back home.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so no, this just feels right.
- 15:57Speaker 3: I'm sappy that you're here because I think that town
- 16:00Speaker 3: is a good place to write music.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I mean, we've seen so many of the stars.
- 16:03Speaker 3: They they come down here and they're like, I need
- 16:05Speaker 3: to write on table mountain, I need to write.
- 16:07Speaker 2: On different places and spaces.
- 16:09Speaker 3: And have you felt being back home that inspiration has
- 16:12Speaker 3: hit you even hider?
- 16:13Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 16:14Speaker 9: I haven't tried writing a song on the mountain yet,
- 16:17Speaker 9: but I have heard of people doing that. There's one
- 16:19Speaker 9: song in particular that's amazing. But but I have already
- 16:23Speaker 9: done a few little trips just outside of Cape Town,
- 16:26Speaker 9: like the Beautiful Island Is to do some recording, some
- 16:29Speaker 9: remote recordings.
- 16:30Speaker 8: So yeah, it's it's amazing.
- 16:31Speaker 9: It's just it's home, So it's there's that's always going
- 16:33Speaker 9: to be inspirational to me.
- 16:35Speaker 2: You are an inspiration to all of us, trust me,
- 16:37Speaker 2: you are. It's so good to me. You heard that
- 16:39Speaker 2: whole catalog of music, and it's was that Matthew Mold music. No,
- 16:44Speaker 2: there there was there was no Joysey. Yes, yes, shout ups,
- 16:52Speaker 2: that's it.
- 16:53Speaker 8: He would love that he would love that show.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Before we get of course that it belongs to him,
- 16:59Speaker 2: but I I just wanted to.
- 17:01Speaker 4: I was.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I was studying Cassidy about you literally two days ago,
- 17:05Speaker 3: and I said, this was there's one song that was
- 17:07Speaker 3: on an album, but you didn't really release it per se.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Actually I loved that you didn't release it because he
- 17:12Speaker 6: played it to me and my whole face in erupted
- 17:15Speaker 6: with goose bumps, and I was like, this is like
- 17:17Speaker 6: a cinematic film moment. Can't even forced me to close
- 17:21Speaker 6: my eyes because he was like.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Actually I did. I'm so sorry. No, what I did was, okay,
- 17:26Speaker 3: i'll play the song.
- 17:27Speaker 5: I played the moment.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I'll play the moment, so basically, close your eyes. Now
- 17:32Speaker 3: there's a song that it's been on my playlist forever,
- 17:34Speaker 3: and I said, like, oh my word, Matthew Mall's releasing
- 17:37Speaker 3: but he didn't release this song. And I took her here,
- 17:40Speaker 3: so I want you to close your eyes. Everybody in
- 17:42Speaker 3: the class, thank you. You should keep your eyes yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 3: oh yes, not you all right, you got that. No,
- 17:51Speaker 3: just just just slowly, but surely you'll feel you fall
- 17:54Speaker 3: into this.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Okay, it was your eyes.
- 18:28Speaker 8: Sorry, I had to keep my eyes opened to look
- 18:30Speaker 8: at you.
- 18:30Speaker 5: You guys, we were going through it.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I was in a place.
- 18:35Speaker 8: That's enough.
- 18:36Speaker 9: Yeah, I was never an official like single, which I mean,
- 18:40Speaker 9: it's one of my favorite songs from that album.
- 18:42Speaker 8: But yes, I don't know that. I wish.
- 18:44Speaker 9: I wish that could be a single I could have.
- 18:46Speaker 9: We could still make it happen. I guess think they
- 18:48Speaker 9: should some people like you that are so amazing and supportive.
- 18:51Speaker 9: I mean, you could you sounds like you've already turned
- 18:54Speaker 9: it into one.
- 18:54Speaker 3: No no, because when I played it, I didn't. I
- 18:57Speaker 3: literally said close your eyes and I was very dramatic,
- 18:59Speaker 3: but it's still one. I wrote you a playlist. So
- 19:00Speaker 3: when I was a leave recently, like at the beginning
- 19:02Speaker 3: of the year, that was it popped up all the time.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I mean obviously in between Lincoln Park, I'd like, yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 3: you coming through it with enough for just great, but
- 19:11Speaker 3: you got a new single. But before we give a
- 19:12Speaker 3: new single, what I've done is that I know we've
- 19:14Speaker 3: done this so many times. And everybody loves a good
- 19:17Speaker 3: interview with Matthew Mole. However, I like challenging Cassidy because
- 19:21Speaker 3: you know, when it comes to everybody will ask you
- 19:24Speaker 3: certain things in an interview. But my challenge to her
- 19:26Speaker 3: is that I want you to ask Matthew stuff that
- 19:28Speaker 3: no one asks in an interview.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I love that.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very it's very important to keep you on
- 19:32Speaker 3: your toes, you know, what to be ready for when
- 19:33Speaker 3: you win a Grammy. Oh yeah, let's let's talk about
- 19:37Speaker 3: the questions you came up with.
- 19:39Speaker 2: All right, so I'm nervous now you should be.
- 19:42Speaker 5: That's exactly right.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I love this, though, if you still playing Lincoln Park
- 19:45Speaker 2: in the background, there.
- 19:48Speaker 8: Is I love that.
- 19:49Speaker 9: I was honestly listen to Lincoln Park on the way
- 19:52Speaker 9: which something to listen to what it's called at the beginning.
- 19:56Speaker 3: To yes, yes, no, no, no, I know it would come
- 20:01Speaker 3: to me now. Friend Marris told me to wait for
- 20:04Speaker 3: the waiting for the end. It's literally.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That's it.
- 20:08Speaker 9: But then then I was like, wait a minute, you
- 20:10Speaker 9: guys the show had started. So I turned on KF
- 20:12Speaker 9: just not even not even making that UPR thank you,
- 20:15Speaker 9: all right, go for it.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Here you go.
- 20:17Speaker 6: If you weren't doing what you do, now, what ridiculous
- 20:20Speaker 6: job do you think you'd have?
- 20:21Speaker 8: Formula one driver?
- 20:23Speaker 2: No?
- 20:23Speaker 9: No, and I'm kidding, this is not like, I don't
- 20:25Speaker 9: know as I can, right, No, you don't.
- 20:29Speaker 8: That was his first thing.
- 20:30Speaker 9: I mean, that would be cool, but it would definitely
- 20:32Speaker 9: be something creative. Okay, if it wasn't what I'm doing now,
- 20:35Speaker 9: which I'm so grateful for music. But if it wasn't music,
- 20:39Speaker 9: then it would still be creative, and it would probably
- 20:40Speaker 9: be something more visual, like something involving illustration. I like
- 20:44Speaker 9: to illustrate. I'm not saying I'm good at it, but
- 20:46Speaker 9: I enjoy it. So I would find somewhere like I
- 20:49Speaker 9: guess that would be graphic design or something something to
- 20:52Speaker 9: that extent.
- 20:53Speaker 5: He'll design your logo, is what he said.
- 20:55Speaker 8: I could try, but it will probably be bad.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Next question, if Mole wasn't your surname, which other animal
- 21:03Speaker 6: would you use for inspiration for your name?
- 21:05Speaker 9: I like that that in this in this scenario, I
- 21:10Speaker 9: got to choose my surname. A lot of people think
- 21:12Speaker 9: that's my stage name, it's my birth surname.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Maybe I should ask you.
- 21:18Speaker 9: All my Yeah, I don't even know how it works.
- 21:21Speaker 9: He gave them the surname, but I would have chosen.
- 21:26Speaker 9: Would I choose something like a like a duck or
- 21:29Speaker 9: a goose? You know what I love I love seeing
- 21:31Speaker 9: a goose and calling it a duck, So I'm going
- 21:34Speaker 9: to choose a duck.
- 21:35Speaker 2: You love seeing a goose calling it because.
- 21:37Speaker 8: People get angry. That's not a duck, that's a goose.
- 21:40Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 21:40Speaker 9: It's funny if you see a goose, it's very elegant,
- 21:42Speaker 9: and you call it a duck, it's really dumb.
- 21:44Speaker 6: But it's funny that one girl who saw a bunch
- 21:46Speaker 6: of cows and went, look.
- 21:47Speaker 5: At all those chickens.
- 21:48Speaker 9: Yes, well, if you see the girl with the bear,
- 21:51Speaker 9: there's a bear and she says, can I bet that dog?
- 21:54Speaker 8: Yes, bear is actually pretty cool.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Bear.
- 21:57Speaker 8: But Matthew Bear, that sounds weird.
- 22:00Speaker 3: That's cool because there's a band called Albert the.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Right Matthew Bear.
- 22:06Speaker 8: But I already said duck, and that's kind of weird.
- 22:09Speaker 5: Matthew duck.
- 22:09Speaker 9: I once made someone their surname was chicken. And what
- 22:12Speaker 9: was so cool is the guy was like, it gets
- 22:15Speaker 9: people laughing at him. And I was like, well, my
- 22:17Speaker 9: surname is Malsa right there with you, and it's pretty fun.
- 22:20Speaker 8: It's a nice little in Okay.
- 22:22Speaker 3: From from the first interview that I had with Matthew Mole,
- 22:25Speaker 3: I did actually make that reference. I said, it's actually
- 22:27Speaker 3: faked mold because everybody digs him. Oh remember this, remember this,
- 22:35Speaker 3: I'm saying, come on.
- 22:37Speaker 6: So question number three, Yes, what is a habit that
- 22:41Speaker 6: you're trying to break or is there something that you're
- 22:43Speaker 6: trying to incorporate and get better at into your habits?
- 22:48Speaker 9: So incorporate just like the better at your something I'm
- 22:55Speaker 9: trying to get better at. This is not a deep
- 22:57Speaker 9: answer is golf. So so my habit is to practice golf. Well,
- 23:01Speaker 9: I'm going to go play golf after this. That's a
- 23:05Speaker 9: shallow one there. That's just a nice challenge for me though.
- 23:08Speaker 9: And then but the deep answer is something that I'm
- 23:10Speaker 9: trying to no longer have as a habit.
- 23:13Speaker 8: I guess that's what you were saying is pleasing people.
- 23:16Speaker 9: I'm very very good at like being a people pleaser
- 23:19Speaker 9: and saying yes things when I don't know if I
- 23:22Speaker 9: necessarily have the capacity or whatever. So that's one just
- 23:25Speaker 9: trying to kind of not try and please everyone. It's
- 23:29Speaker 9: not about saying no to people. It's just about learning
- 23:32Speaker 9: how to have that balance.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Boundaries.
- 23:35Speaker 8: My boundaries is.
- 23:35Speaker 3: The word this is that's something for everybody this year
- 23:41Speaker 3: I think we all have this affinity to please people
- 23:45Speaker 3: because back in the day, that was the only way
- 23:47Speaker 3: people kind of showed us what affirmation looks like. Because
- 23:51Speaker 3: if you think about as kids, what do we try
- 23:53Speaker 3: to do? Look at my picture, look at my painting,
- 23:55Speaker 3: look at me, clap.
- 23:56Speaker 2: For me to see me.
- 23:57Speaker 3: And I think that actually was set in our culture
- 24:01Speaker 3: of learning, and that's something that we have to break
- 24:03Speaker 3: because you know, if you really want hands to clap,
- 24:06Speaker 3: there should be our own. If you want to hear
- 24:08Speaker 3: a cheer, it will be it should be our own
- 24:10Speaker 3: if we are doing certain things. And that's the problem
- 24:12Speaker 3: with people pleasing is that we're looking for affirmation and
- 24:14Speaker 3: we used to get those kick kids, but break it
- 24:17Speaker 3: and say, you know, if you look for affirmation, look
- 24:19Speaker 3: for a mirror.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's where I see you drop the mic.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Very good.
- 24:28Speaker 3: No, it's the truth. That's where we picked it up
- 24:30Speaker 3: from in the first place. That's why we are so
- 24:32Speaker 3: we hang on to it all the time because we're
- 24:34Speaker 3: looking for that exactly because we believe that's the only
- 24:38Speaker 3: measurement of achievement, and it's not. Sometimes waking up in
- 24:42Speaker 3: the morning and starting a new day is enough.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Yeah, completely and that's.
- 24:46Speaker 2: That's okay, So stop measuring man, this is great stuff.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Well, go on table mountain and write a song about Yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 2: You better.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Last question, yes, my last question to you is okay, okay,
- 25:00Speaker 3: is that if we were to spend a day in
- 25:02Speaker 3: Matthew Mole's head, all right, what is the song that
- 25:07Speaker 3: would be the theme of what's going on in your head?
- 25:10Speaker 9: I mean, I know that was so I've got a
- 25:13Speaker 9: song that's that might be the obvious answer there, but
- 25:17Speaker 9: actually my choice of song is.
- 25:21Speaker 8: It a Matthew Mole song.
- 25:22Speaker 3: It doesn't be any song like the song that kind
- 25:24Speaker 3: of dictates what your thought processes are. Like, wow, if
- 25:27Speaker 3: you were to walk into like the great chamber of
- 25:30Speaker 3: Matthew Mole's brain, because you're singles called in my head.
- 25:34Speaker 8: And then that's that is that song that's in my head?
- 25:37Speaker 9: And why I was going to say enough if I
- 25:39Speaker 9: had to choose a Matthew mol song, because there's a
- 25:41Speaker 9: message there and that I think is quite important. But
- 25:43Speaker 9: in my head, Yeah, that's the answer. There's thanks, thanks
- 25:46Speaker 9: for that was smooth, smooth. My new song in my
- 25:49Speaker 9: head would be the song that would tell people what's
- 25:51Speaker 9: going on in my head every now and then.
- 25:53Speaker 3: And one of the key features of writing a song
- 25:56Speaker 3: like this for us to hear because I know that
- 25:58Speaker 3: sometimes you hear a song and you you miss a lyric, Yes,
- 26:01Speaker 3: And when you write, I know that you're writing messages
- 26:03Speaker 3: to your listener. So what are some of the messages
- 26:06Speaker 3: that I'm going to hear when I play this song now?
- 26:08Speaker 9: So that's so cool you say this because you I
- 26:13Speaker 9: know this just because of your track record with songs
- 26:15Speaker 9: I've released, you don't miss any of the lyrics, which
- 26:17Speaker 9: is amazing.
- 26:18Speaker 2: No, so to help other people find them, Thank you exactly.
- 26:20Speaker 9: And so this song specifically is talking about the overthinking
- 26:25Speaker 9: thoughts that I have that go through my head sometimes
- 26:28Speaker 9: when I specifically when I try to achieve things by
- 26:31Speaker 9: myself without the help of anyone else, without asking for help,
- 26:34Speaker 9: without kind of receiving help that's being offered, and just
- 26:37Speaker 9: kind of how I can very easily spiral in like
- 26:40Speaker 9: circles of complete completely being lost, just like losing any
- 26:45Speaker 9: form of direction, and then just other perspectives, other help. Normally,
- 26:51Speaker 9: the loving sense is what kind of gets me out
- 26:55Speaker 9: of those spirals and letting people into my head so
- 26:58Speaker 9: they can kind of understand where I'm at. I can
- 27:00Speaker 9: understand where the're at, and then the things that's where
- 27:02Speaker 9: I hope, that's where I find hope. So that's kind
- 27:05Speaker 9: of what the song did that make any sense. I'm
- 27:07Speaker 9: all in my head. I'm trying to phrase it.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Properly as you always.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Said, you know, when it comes to the interpretation of
- 27:13Speaker 3: your songs, I got it completely because I think what
- 27:16Speaker 3: happens is there is a little bit of ego that
- 27:19Speaker 3: we all carry around, and it means that when we
- 27:22Speaker 3: let people in, it feels like, oh, I couldn't do
- 27:24Speaker 3: it by myself. Once again, for sure, it's a childhood thing.
- 27:26Speaker 3: You know, why did you tie your own shoelaces and
- 27:29Speaker 3: go to the toilet yourself? So there's always been this
- 27:32Speaker 3: deep thing about doing things ourselves, and we haven't let
- 27:35Speaker 3: people in to share in our achievements because maybe we've
- 27:38Speaker 3: been very, very scared to actually do something and say
- 27:42Speaker 3: it wasn't only me, it was this person and that person,
- 27:45Speaker 3: and need to get out of that space to know
- 27:47Speaker 3: that the collective is the victory, it's not just you.
- 27:50Speaker 9: It's also like a control thing. It's like you don't
- 27:52Speaker 9: want to release any control over something. Because you want
- 27:55Speaker 9: to be the one that controls it, because you can
- 27:57Speaker 9: control whether or not it gets messed up or that
- 27:59Speaker 9: kind of thing. Exactly a lot of you've got exactly right,
- 28:03Speaker 9: and there's hope the less feel.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Exactly Hope is the best weapon we have against We've
- 28:10Speaker 2: we've we've been through the ghosts.
- 28:12Speaker 8: Yes we have.
- 28:13Speaker 3: We we've faced them, yeah, and we've we've seen what
- 28:17Speaker 3: they're like. And now we can actually say, hey, you
- 28:18Speaker 3: know what this is in my head? And I almost
- 28:20Speaker 3: feel like the next single that comes through is going
- 28:23Speaker 3: to be the joy of actually being out of your
- 28:25Speaker 3: head and into the space and the universe around you.
- 28:28Speaker 8: Right, it's done and ready.
- 28:29Speaker 9: I just need to show it to you before we
- 28:32Speaker 9: show Yes, bast of the world.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I think we should do that. But let's play this song.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Matthew Mal's in the house a little later. I've actually
- 28:38Speaker 3: got a game that I want to play with you.
- 28:40Speaker 3: There's a game that I brought from home that are
- 28:42Speaker 3: you're gonna love.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Not right now. I love board games. This game called
- 28:47Speaker 2: Snatch the Mic.
- 28:48Speaker 8: I will win that game.
- 28:50Speaker 6: I love it when people are Competitorscuse I'm not competitive.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I'm confident, Okay, I'm competitive them.
- 28:58Speaker 6: My worst is when some one comes over to your
- 29:00Speaker 6: house and you're playing like a thirty second and then
- 29:03Speaker 6: they're like talking and they're slowing down.
- 29:08Speaker 5: You know what I mean, like eat your swallow your.
- 29:11Speaker 8: Yeah, then we take this thing serious.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Exactly, We've got something.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I completely agree, left exactly love this.
- 29:18Speaker 8: Am I playing against Cassidy?
- 29:20Speaker 2: You know what it is?
- 29:21Speaker 3: Okay, now wait a minute, you know what this actually
- 29:26Speaker 3: might turn into something complete different. Yes, snatch the mic
- 29:29Speaker 3: coming with Matthew Mall the next couple. But first let's
- 29:32Speaker 3: step inside this man's head. It's a brand new single
- 29:35Speaker 3: out now in my head. It's Matthew Mall.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Absolutely love the song. It is beautiful. I've actually put
- 29:45Speaker 2: it on anderton I'm gonna put it on my playlist.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Thank you, nice one, Matthew, nice one.
- 29:50Speaker 10: It's the ball again.
- 29:53Speaker 3: That was there was Dion and Steer fun and uh.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Some of the people said they want the chorus on
- 29:58Speaker 3: repeat as well, which is so good man. You know,
- 30:02Speaker 3: it is really a great song. It is amazing.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Everyone's being very kind. That's very nice. Thanks for the
- 30:09Speaker 2: for the kind words.
- 30:10Speaker 3: If you don't want to hear any kindness, terrible song, Matthew,
- 30:13Speaker 3: don't release again, guys, bring back my Joysey. A lot
- 30:19Speaker 3: of stuff to be through you.
- 30:20Speaker 2: So good comment actually him that no, I do.
- 30:27Speaker 3: You always do it, But I think it's because what
- 30:30Speaker 3: you do with the lyrics versus your vocal tonality is
- 30:33Speaker 3: that you take us on what we need to feel
- 30:36Speaker 3: a certain parts of the song. So when you want
- 30:38Speaker 3: to bring someone in closer, your falsetto comes in if
- 30:40Speaker 3: you want to, if you want to do a little
- 30:42Speaker 3: bit more of a balt You're like, this is the
- 30:43Speaker 3: stance that I want to take the message, and.
- 30:44Speaker 2: I want you to receive. And you do that with
- 30:46Speaker 2: your tonality and your vocals, and and you you take
- 30:50Speaker 2: us to the places where you want us to go
- 30:52Speaker 2: emotionally on your songs.
- 30:53Speaker 9: Thanks for if you're what do you have the capacity
- 30:56Speaker 9: in that brain of yours to notice all of the things?
- 31:00Speaker 8: Man, it's amazing.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Matthew mall if you were actually in my head, let
- 31:05Speaker 3: me tell you, Let me tell you what song plays
- 31:07Speaker 3: in my head regularly, just to give you a little idea.
- 31:10Speaker 3: If you were in my head, you would, Yes, that's
- 31:25Speaker 3: what that's what would be the theme song in my head. Yeah,
- 31:29Speaker 3: very very high energy and very very dynamic. But that's
- 31:31Speaker 3: how it goes. Please stick around because you are gonna
- 31:34Speaker 3: play Snatch the Mic. I haven't decided whether it be
- 31:36Speaker 3: against me or competitive cassidy yet, so we are still
- 31:40Speaker 3: that's still up in the air, but that's happened in
- 31:41Speaker 3: the next couple of minutes. Please stick around. It's your
- 31:43Speaker 3: flash driving k f M ninety four point five. Olivia Dean,
- 31:48Speaker 3: So easy to fall in love. I use the same
- 31:50Speaker 3: words talking about Matthew Male. He's still here and he's
- 31:53Speaker 3: got a brand new song in my head. That's true,
- 31:55Speaker 3: you know you, Olivia Dean and Matthew Mall. It's just
- 31:59Speaker 3: it's just like the same thing. It really is, I'm saying.
- 32:04Speaker 8: For you as well.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's definitely that same feel, the same feeling, all right,
- 32:10Speaker 3: So this could get very messy. However, we do have
- 32:12Speaker 3: an adjudicator that I've called in. Producer Piatrice is here.
- 32:16Speaker 3: You have the board game in your hands, Snatched the mic.
- 32:19Speaker 3: So this is how it works in case you've never played.
- 32:21Speaker 2: This game before.
- 32:22Speaker 3: What Producer Peartist will do is that you'll grab one
- 32:24Speaker 3: of the cards in the box and you'll hold it
- 32:26Speaker 3: up and that'll be the word. All right, So the
- 32:28Speaker 3: thing about that word is that Pietrice, you are going
- 32:31Speaker 3: to have to say it out loud because you can't
- 32:32Speaker 3: see the card and radio obviously, So just lift it up,
- 32:36Speaker 3: say the word, and then one of us will will.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Shout out our names. Yes, I think that's okay. Names.
- 32:41Speaker 3: You determine who said it first. They need to sing
- 32:43Speaker 3: a song with that word in it. If the song
- 32:46Speaker 3: you deem is not actually a real song, you complete
- 32:49Speaker 3: disqualify them and go to the next person.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Is that at works?
- 32:52Speaker 4: Right?
- 32:54Speaker 5: Qualifying or we're not just giving points?
- 32:57Speaker 3: No, disqualification is important completely, But to qualified from the
- 33:00Speaker 3: whole game, I would say the whole game, because I know.
- 33:08Speaker 5: He is painting a very false.
- 33:13Speaker 9: Oh that wasn't I wasn't choosing sides. No, he's playing Switzerland.
- 33:17Speaker 6: Oh gosh, I know how I feel about Switzerland. People
- 33:22Speaker 6: not I just mean people who play Switzerland.
- 33:25Speaker 8: Hold on, we're not playing the game yet. This is
- 33:27Speaker 8: just pre game.
- 33:28Speaker 2: He said, Switzerland, right, what's Switzerland's capital?
- 33:31Speaker 5: Your mom? Play the game? Can we play the game?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Do you know what Switzerland's capital is?
- 33:36Speaker 8: But Zurich?
- 33:37Speaker 3: Zurich?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Is it not?
- 33:38Speaker 8: Does it burn?
- 33:39Speaker 5: That's right?
- 33:40Speaker 2: It's burn, but it's got this so much smaller than.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Just prowled at Matthew more.
- 33:47Speaker 2: I loved it, Beatrice.
- 33:50Speaker 5: There's a lot going on.
- 33:51Speaker 11: There's a lot going on, like I'm processing, trying to process,
- 33:55Speaker 11: but yeah, there's a lot. Okay, shuffle the cards, men
- 34:00Speaker 11: off while you guys were discussing burnt something like that.
- 34:05Speaker 11: And your first word is yes, let's start easy, okay,
- 34:09Speaker 11: go for it.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Moment, Carl, from this moment, my god, he's so good.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Wayne, thank you very much. That's right.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Do you get a point? There is that you do?
- 34:30Speaker 2: I get a point? Thank you?

- 34:47Speaker 5: King of my castle?
- 34:48Speaker 2: It's queen queen.
- 34:51Speaker 3: So that's a disqualification, right, No, the King of Across
- 34:54Speaker 3: is the song, the point queen, the reason why the.

- 41:34Speaker 2: Doesn't have to be G I N.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Remember there are several different words that have different spelling,
- 41:39Speaker 3: but it does still sound like gin. So GIN could

- 45:00Speaker 2: It out the year. I really appreciate it for that.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Over to It's a little late, but we have to
- 45:04Speaker 3: do this before we get to what is going to
- 45:06Speaker 3: be an epic mix for from Grandmaster Ready D.
- 45:09Speaker 2: It is called the concept.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Now what this is that every day Cassidy and I
- 45:16Speaker 3: we do one word each to help you get the answer.
- 45:21Speaker 3: We actually want you to win in stuff. We actually
- 45:23Speaker 3: want you to win. I hope so no, we do.
- 45:27Speaker 3: That's why we give you these words so that you
- 45:30Speaker 3: hear the You hear words prior somebody tried.
- 45:33Speaker 2: They've got it. Incorrect and you thought, you know what,
- 45:34Speaker 2: I know the I know the answer. Then you get
- 45:36Speaker 2: a chance to play the next time.
- 45:39Speaker 10: But I don't know.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Okay, do you have an idea what this could be?
- 45:44Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't know. Let's let's figure.
- 45:47Speaker 2: It out together. I love this.
- 45:49Speaker 3: We have to do these things together. I'll tell you
- 45:51Speaker 3: that the wrong guesses yesterday, the wrong the incorrect guesses
- 45:54Speaker 3: were bluff and end.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Oh okay, there we go.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I know, trust me and I laughed to we all,
- 46:03Speaker 3: but we don't. We never laugh at you. We laugh
- 46:05Speaker 3: with you. Very important. That's actually when Cassidy started off
- 46:09Speaker 3: on the show, there was admission statement and I said yes,
- 46:12Speaker 3: and I said, we don't laugh at you at we
- 46:16Speaker 3: laugh with and we listen and we.
- 46:23Speaker 2: With you. I can feel this.
- 46:24Speaker 3: This is good. Okay, we got our words ready to go.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Good luck in guessing and a beautiful experience at Cape
- 46:31Speaker 3: Canopy Tours.
- 46:32Speaker 2: It could be yours so all the rest.
- 46:34Speaker 3: It's a ziplining experience and I've I've been past there.
- 46:37Speaker 3: I haven't gone there yet, but it's absolutely majestic. So
- 46:40Speaker 3: let's get you a win. First word, Cassidy, mm hmm.
- 46:44Speaker 10: Elevator like a like a loft, Sorr, it was that
- 46:55Speaker 10: you guess what did you say?
- 46:58Speaker 2: What did you say? Uplift or lift? You must choose
- 47:02Speaker 2: which one is it? Uplift or loft? Are you going
- 47:05Speaker 2: with up? Or lift? Or lift or uplift?
- 47:09Speaker 5: Uploft like going high?
- 47:11Speaker 2: You know, uplift.
- 47:13Speaker 3: I believe upliftment is very important. You can even right,
- 47:17Speaker 3: you can even uplift people by telling them they are
- 47:20Speaker 3: wrong in order to guide them to a better answer. Right,
- 47:26Speaker 3: that's upliftment too, right.
- 47:27Speaker 5: It's it's really good at that point.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yes, So your word was did you say elevator?
- 47:32Speaker 5: Elevator?
- 47:32Speaker 2: Okay, my words escalator.
- 47:37Speaker 5: We'll be going up and down now.
- 47:39Speaker 2: You know. That's what life's about.
- 47:41Speaker 4: You know.
- 47:41Speaker 3: We have our ups, we have our downs, but it's
- 47:44Speaker 3: actually about the way you get up again.
- 47:47Speaker 2: You know. So what are we thinking now? You went
- 47:51Speaker 2: from uplift? What are we doing now? Hm? I'm trying
- 47:57Speaker 2: to think previous cases, yes, and the words yesterday, connect
- 48:02Speaker 2: every connect, everything connected? What are we thinking? I'm thinking?
- 48:11Speaker 5: Foundation is the concept?
- 48:12Speaker 2: Word is your word? Foundation?
- 48:16Speaker 5: Foundation?
- 48:18Speaker 3: Foundation, We're locking that in. I'm very happy to announce
- 48:22Speaker 3: that foundations and answers like that. While incorrect, still make
- 48:32Speaker 3: a good foundation to try again.
- 48:34Speaker 2: You understand what I mean.
- 48:36Speaker 3: Remember what Alia said, Eh, don't forget it's thank you
- 48:43Speaker 3: so much. You an absolute star. Incorrect this time with
- 48:46Speaker 3: the concept. But now you've got two extra words to
- 48:49Speaker 3: add to your conundrum, to add to your case. Because
- 48:51Speaker 3: you're a detective on this figure it out a Monday,
- 48:54Speaker 3: you can win our prize from our good friends Cape
- 48:56Speaker 3: Canopy towards.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Hey ive been Caitlin Aragon. It's called I Run.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Before we run, we go one last thing to do
- 49:03Speaker 3: with you, and that is called the one up on
- 49:05Speaker 3: your flash drive in KFAM ninety four point five. It
- 49:08Speaker 3: is a mixture of beautiful things that Cassidy and I
- 49:11Speaker 3: try our best to. We want up each other. It's
- 49:14Speaker 3: as simple as that, and it becomes quite interesting as
- 49:16Speaker 3: we go along.
- 49:17Speaker 6: In fact, what if we were a little bit silly,
- 49:19Speaker 6: What if we ruined movie titles by adding your Mom?
- 49:22Speaker 2: Can I do?
- 49:23Speaker 3: Harry Potter and Your Mom's Chamber of Secrets?
- 49:26Speaker 2: Levy Osa Lesa.
