- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I have to play this for you.
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: You know it's 4th of July weekend coming up.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: It's also gonna be Taylor Swift's wedding coming up.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's supposed to be Friday at Madison Square Garden, supposedly.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Have a listen to this.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Travis Kelsey has to write vows for Taylor's swift.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: She's gonna write the most eloquently, like beautifully profound prose.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: And he's gonna be like, babe, from the moment I met you.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: May I suggest that he hires Jack Antinoff for some help?
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: That is so true.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: You might need to.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I don't think that Travis is a dummy.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: He's not, you know, like one of those, you know, thick skulls, like, ugh, I play football.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: But it's just the fact that she's such a good thing.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: You know, it's like you know what else I heard too?
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: That Blake, I can't believe how invested I am in in this right now.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: But I heard that Blake Lively wasn't invited because you know that they the Justin Baldone stuff.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: And the the sad part is, or maybe not so sad, but it's been pointed out that, you know, if it was a small wedding, let's say she was gonna go to Long Island and it was like a 50-person wedding and Blake didn't get invited, that wouldn't be that big of a deal because it's small.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: It's small, you have to pick your numbers.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Madison Square Garden.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: It's like 500 people going.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: Madison Square Garden is seats for days.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: So if you don't get invited to the Taylor wedding when there's plenty of seats, the nail is in the coffin.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: You know what though?
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I'm kind of I I like the fact that, and you know that decision came from Taylor, and it was all because honestly, Taylor didn't want to be involved in the drama.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: And I kind of like the fact that she set and kept a boundary.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Not saying that she's never gonna speak to her again, but she's like, I want no part of this.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: And that's the thing.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you have to invite people to your wedding, like I don't know, like your dad or something, who you know is gonna be the drama, and you don't want it, but it's your dad.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Or there's people who have not invited family, like very close family members, because they're the drama.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: I mean that's that.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Speaking of drama, I might stir some up this weekend.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: So turned out I just I think I know the answer, but then again, I'm debating whether I care or not.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: So Tiffany tells me last night, oh, uh, I'm gonna be stopping out at my mom's and my grandparents for the 4th of July.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: I automatically think, oh, well, you didn't you hadn't told me about it yet.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, we've seen limited amounts of each other over the past few days.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: She had a couple 12-hour shifts and things, and we had people I was out of town on Sunday, I was with you on Saturday.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: We just have not had a chance to really connect.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: But she goes, Yeah, I'm going out to uh, you know, to my parents and my grandparents on uh I think this Saturday.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: And I go, Well, in my brain, this goes, okay, what are we doing?
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Are we grow are we cooking out?
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: What do we need to bring or get or anything?
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: And she lets me know, she goes, Well, I didn't really mention much to you because I didn't want you to complain about having to cook over there.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: Oh she knows you well.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Well, here's the thing: I have said, I said, if we're going to do a big cookout, I would prefer to do it at our house because I have all the tools there for this.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Now her mom has a fine grill, it'll it'll do.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: It'll do.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Listen to me.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: But, you know, it was if it was specific for that reason of let's have the family get together, I would have preferred it at our house.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Also, I don't have to be on an hour-long drive.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, selfish.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Call me that.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, I can live with it.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: But in this case, it's also because she wants to be able to see her in their 90s grandparents.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: At that point, you have to go to them.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, you know, now you're now we're shifting the plan.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: But you know, I said I still said, well, what do we need to do?
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, do we need to do, like, you know, are we cooking out?
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: What are we, what are we gonna do?
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: Did you ever think of just going low-key?
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: I mean, do you know how to do that when it comes to meat?
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Well, she even said she's-I don't think you do.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: She goes, 'We could do like hot dogs and hamburgers, and I'm like, fine.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: But then of course we're gonna probably have to do a couple salads of some kind or something, you know.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: Uh I don't know.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: I don't count on other people, even though I should a little bit.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: By couple, he means 13.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Uh but then I got thinking about it.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: You know And then a brisket all of a sudden comes in on the back end.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: You know.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, and here's where you guys gotta tell me if this is rude or not.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: And I'm sorry, but this is where my stance is.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: I'm not totally hot dogged out yet, but we've been around a lot of hot dogs.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: We had Weenie Wednesday, and we ate all the dogs before, during, and after.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: And then what happened to me at party in the park?
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: More dogs.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: One of my meals, I went to MM Hots and I had to get a hot dog.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: So now I am I'm getting to the point, not quite yet.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: I believe it happens July 8th every year.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: Maybe throw in a brat.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Yes, where my system is like enough with the hot dogs, Scott.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: So if we're gonna do hot dogs and hamburgers on Saturday, okay, on the grill, is it rude of me to bring my own steak if I am to travel and not for everybody else?
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: This is a great question.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: Thank you very much.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, she and some we could go locate.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Well, here's the thing.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Maybe I just need to switch it up a little bit.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Do we so rude?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, is it really because I'd be the one cooking and we'd be the ones traveling and here I am probably bringing the hot dogs and the hamburgers.
- 5:10SPEAKER_02: Uh but here I am sucking down a hot dog, and you're like, Yeah, exactly.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Is it really that bad?
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: Super rude.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: Because think about it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: I could see you doing it.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: I uh because we're the ones traveling, and likely the ones bringing the hot dogs and the hamburgers, too, and Scott having to be the grill master.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: And I understand what you're saying because you are just slide my steak on and be like, Yeah, but then they're seeing you cut.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, I what's Tiffany's mom's name again?
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: I forget.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Uh Joanne.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: Joanne.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: Joanne, can I borrow a steak knife?
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Scott, what do you need a steak knife for?
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: For a hot dog?
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Steak.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: For a hot dog.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, well, I got this porter house and it's about it's about four inches thick.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I gotta cut through it.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, really.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: If I gotta go through all the effort, can I just have a steak?
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: I'm not buying steaks for everybody.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: Jonathan, what is it wrong of me to steak?
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: No, you guys and and hot dogs are tube steaks, so that's right.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: That's what you can say to them.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: You're eating steak as well.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Yes in tube form.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: In tube form.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: If I'm doing all of this, if we're bringing all of that and I'm gonna cook it, and I'm driving an hour, put a damn steak.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: Can't you just throw a steak on the grill on Sunday when you're not with them?
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but that's not the point.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, I might be lazy on Sunday.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: The point is that you're footing the bill for everything.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, why not?
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: Throw me a steak.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: You're going to them.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: I mean, I get what you're saying, but it's still rude.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, come on.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: Parents do it all the time.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: They eat the good stuff and they give their kids hot dogs.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: Right, that's why can't I do it to other adults?
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: No, that's kids.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: This is also I don't know, the person that you're gonna spend the rest of your life with.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, or not.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: Maybe maybe if I bring the steak, that might wrap up quick.
